A tense shooting erupted Friday afternoon on NW 15th Street as Nathaniel Corder allegedly pulled a gun during a physical altercation with Philip Thompson, wounding him seriously but non-fatally. Corder was arrested on the spot on charges of aggravated battery and marijuana possession, while Thompson, who had outstanding warrants including probation violation and fugitive status, was booked into jail after being treated.
