- 1:40Speaker 4: the Anaheim Ducks, namesakes on the top line and role
- 1:44Speaker 4: players who continue to carve their role on this Kraken
- 1:48Speaker 4: team in a very physical battle where the Kraken Outlass
- 1:51Speaker 4: and Anaheim and a three to one victory. Before Ian
- 1:55Speaker 4: jumps on with us here here's out. The Kraken turned
- 1:58Speaker 4: the crank offensively in their first ever opening night win
- 2:02Speaker 4: franchise history.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Schwartz takes the feed, brings it over the right wing side.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Pat Mneir circle sends it up top. Adam Larsen now for.
- 2:09Speaker 6: Don shot Stoll pits Done kicks off season five with
- 2:21Speaker 6: his first goal of the season, seventeen.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Thirty nine to play.
- 2:25Speaker 2: In the first one nothing Seattle, Jadon Schwartz put a
- 2:29Speaker 2: great son entry in the offensive end. He comes across
- 2:31Speaker 2: the blue line to buy himself some time. He finds
- 2:34Speaker 2: Larsen up in the high slot area just into the
- 2:37Speaker 2: blue line. Larson waits. He waits for an Anaheim player
- 2:40Speaker 2: to attack him. That leaves fence Done open to the side,
- 2:43Speaker 2: feeds it off to the side. Done Gole's top shop
- 2:46Speaker 2: one upping bracket.
- 2:46Speaker 7: Halt half wall.
- 2:47Speaker 5: He'll carry it all the way up top hope checked
- 2:49Speaker 5: away by montor Brandon montor find the steph or terry.
- 2:53Speaker 7: They'll take it off to.
- 2:53Speaker 1: The corner, considering pass. Bason Mars Welcome to Seattle. Mason
- 3:06Speaker 1: Marshman his first.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Goal in cracking Colors, and Seattle regains the lead.
- 3:11Speaker 7: Early in the second.
- 3:13Speaker 2: It's a two one cracking edge, but Brandon Mont tour
- 3:16Speaker 2: up that right side, battles for a puck, pokes it
- 3:18Speaker 2: off the duck stick and.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Says no precindent gates season.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Games no problem is he burns down that right side,
- 3:25Speaker 2: finds Marksman in front.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Marshman taps it home two to one.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Crack at Seattle once again.
- 3:31Speaker 1: What's on the pressure in front?
- 3:33Speaker 6: Yes, same can.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Sharon McCann. The insurance goal for Seattle. HiT's a three
- 3:46Speaker 1: one cracking lead. Fifteen thirty five left in the third.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Well, fantastic zone entry by Seattle as they got that
- 3:54Speaker 2: puck cross Ice evererly dumps it into the far corner,
- 3:58Speaker 2: but Heres gets to win first.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Just a chalk the fuck up to the furnt of them,
- 4:01Speaker 1: but Ken.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Gets that chumped close top shelf flucker side three one crackt.
- 4:07Speaker 4: But we were fresh off what was the biggest baseball
- 4:09Speaker 4: game in twenty four years here for the city of Seattle,
- 4:12Speaker 4: and right back on to hockey. Just the ebbs and
- 4:14Speaker 4: flows keep on coming at this time of year. Oh,
- 4:18Speaker 4: by the way, we have a football team, the Seahawks,
- 4:20Speaker 4: also in the mix. It's busy times around here. Without
- 4:23Speaker 4: further ado, the Mayor of Aprile Valley, Ian Furness, joining
- 4:26Speaker 4: us one to three also weekdays ninety three to three.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Kjrfman. You're not too bored this week, are you?
- 4:32Speaker 7: No, it's a little bit busy, man, it's a little
- 4:34Speaker 7: bit busy, but happy to get hockey season underway. Happy
- 4:38Speaker 7: to see a win last night the first time ever
- 4:41Speaker 7: in the opener. So there we go.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I mean, when you think about how big a win
- 4:45Speaker 4: can be to set the tone for a regular season
- 4:49Speaker 4: in your home opener, it's big just for the fact
- 4:53Speaker 4: that it does what you just said, set the tone,
- 4:55Speaker 4: but in the scope of this team in your five
- 4:59Speaker 4: to get'll win on opening night for the first time
- 5:02Speaker 4: in franchise history, and to do it under the conditions
- 5:05Speaker 4: of new players and a new head coach as well.
- 5:08Speaker 1: How big was that win?
- 5:09Speaker 7: Well, I think there was. It was impactful for a
- 5:11Speaker 7: lot of different reasons. You know. The obvious thing is
- 5:15Speaker 7: the schedule on how it sets up early in the season.
- 5:19Speaker 7: You know, Vegas, which is most everyone's pick to be
- 5:23Speaker 7: you know, at least a conference finalist this year, rolling
- 5:26Speaker 7: in for game number two at home and then a
- 5:29Speaker 7: six game road trip which is anything but easy. Uh,
- 5:33Speaker 7: and then you come home in your next home games
- 5:35Speaker 7: against McDavid and Drive finalists. But you know, it's just
- 5:40Speaker 7: a really daunting early schedule. Not that there's really gimmes
- 5:43Speaker 7: in the NHL. I don't think there really are at me,
- 5:45Speaker 7: you know, even San Jose press Vegas on Thursday. So
- 5:48Speaker 7: but I think it was big for the obvious reasons
- 5:51Speaker 7: of the early schedule, to try to get off to
- 5:53Speaker 7: a good start. It's something that they've struggled with the
- 5:56Speaker 7: last few years. I think it was also big in
- 6:00Speaker 7: terms of the fans and you know, you know, approve
- 6:04Speaker 7: it type of game. You know, third coach in three years,
- 6:07Speaker 7: Layne Lambert comes in and boy, the first twenty minutes
- 6:10Speaker 7: did not look good. It was, you know, the rumblings
- 6:14Speaker 7: in the stands and I'm sure you like me getting
- 6:17Speaker 7: text messages from friends and fans and going what's going
- 6:20Speaker 7: on here? And uh. And then they turned it around
- 6:23Speaker 7: and kind of got their sea legs in a way
- 6:24Speaker 7: they went so but I think it was impactful, big,
- 6:28Speaker 7: what have you. You know, Vegas obviously has a new
- 6:31Speaker 7: challenge on Saturday, but it was a big win for sure.
- 6:34Speaker 4: So then given the first period last night, and acknowledge
- 6:37Speaker 4: the fact that the Kraken won't just need won a
- 6:41Speaker 4: goldtending to be big, but also backup goltending. Given the
- 6:44Speaker 4: crunch of the schedule, how do you measure the impact
- 6:48Speaker 4: of Joey decor last night, Ian Joey.
- 6:51Speaker 7: Won the game for you. I mean, there is no
- 6:52Speaker 7: other way to look at it. He won the game
- 6:54Speaker 7: for you. They you know, Vegas or Vega Sorry, Anaheim
- 6:57Speaker 7: was on pace for well over one hundred shot attempts
- 6:59Speaker 7: after twenty minutes. And the fact that you get out
- 7:02Speaker 7: of that first trade tied at once.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It looked like the Carolina Hurricanes.
- 7:06Speaker 7: It just was crazy. And you know, and you know,
- 7:11Speaker 7: he ended up being what two goals saved above expected
- 7:14Speaker 7: for the game, and it's sure as hell felt like
- 7:16Speaker 7: more than that. He he just was on his game.
- 7:19Speaker 7: And you know, his athleticism was on display. You know,
- 7:23Speaker 7: we did a thing on the track and Hockey Network
- 7:25Speaker 7: Piper went back and did a story with him back
- 7:29Speaker 7: home working out with his dad and his dad's goalie school,
- 7:32Speaker 7: and you know how he plays tennis every day and
- 7:34Speaker 7: all these different things. You're watching his daily regime, you know,
- 7:37Speaker 7: the routine, and it was just remarkable and you know,
- 7:40Speaker 7: it paid off. I mean, he had to be in
- 7:43Speaker 7: tip top shape, top of his game athletically and just
- 7:47Speaker 7: in terms of positional play, and he was all that
- 7:50Speaker 7: and then some. So you know, he was great. He
- 7:52Speaker 7: was really really good and kept them in it and
- 7:55Speaker 7: gave them a chance. You know that we can get
- 7:57Speaker 7: into why the slow start, But I thought, you know,
- 8:00Speaker 7: without Joey the court and his heroics, they don't win that.
- 8:04Speaker 7: They don't win that Hogey game. I mean, it could
- 8:05Speaker 7: have been over after one period. It could have been
- 8:07Speaker 7: a four to one game after one.
- 8:08Speaker 4: I mean, when we go and examine the goaltenders around
- 8:11Speaker 4: this league as far as who's at the top of
- 8:14Speaker 4: the top, and you've got Vassilevski up there, You've got
- 8:17Speaker 4: Connor Hellibuck up there, You've got Igor.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Shastrict up there.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Joey still got a lot more to work for to
- 8:23Speaker 4: work himself into that upper echelon. But there's always one
- 8:27Speaker 4: thing that we've understood about Joey to court is that
- 8:29Speaker 4: nobody is going to outwork him. It's been his mo
- 8:33Speaker 4: since he came out of Arizona State, and now you're
- 8:35Speaker 4: starting to see this big work payoff as you mentioned,
- 8:38Speaker 4: and put the crack on really in good position and
- 8:41Speaker 4: they can get this kind of goaltending out of him.
- 8:45Speaker 4: For a majority of this season, They're going to be
- 8:47Speaker 4: in really, really, really good shape. Speaking of work ethic.
- 8:51Speaker 4: I want to give some props here ian to Ryan Winterton,
- 8:54Speaker 4: who played on the line with Chandler Stevens in a
- 8:56Speaker 4: Mason Marchman. He did not score, but he had one
- 9:00Speaker 4: takeaway and had five hits. It felt like that he
- 9:04Speaker 4: hit nearly everything that move. He nearly had the KO
- 9:07Speaker 4: blow as well Thursday night in game one. What did
- 9:12Speaker 4: that game tell us maybe about his role and his
- 9:14Speaker 4: fit on this team.
- 9:16Speaker 7: Well, to me, it shows that he's got a role
- 9:18Speaker 7: and I mean obvious statement, but I mean there's gonna
- 9:21Speaker 7: be some competition when Copo Coco comes back, and you know,
- 9:24Speaker 7: are you going to keep two extra forwards? I don't
- 9:27Speaker 7: know now. Injuries happened, so we're a long ways. You know,
- 9:29Speaker 7: we're ways away from that decision, and Coppo Coco's gonna
- 9:32Speaker 7: slot into a top six roll, I would assume, or
- 9:35Speaker 7: maybe into that role that Ryan has. Maybe winter and
- 9:37Speaker 7: moves down to the third the fourth line. You know
- 9:40Speaker 7: what what jumped out of me a couple of times
- 9:42Speaker 7: was his responsibility and his his backchecking, Like I mean, yes,
- 9:46Speaker 7: he was hitting guys, blocking shot and doing everything, but
- 9:50Speaker 7: just his the little things like on the back check,
- 9:52Speaker 7: those takeaways. Uh, really really impressive for a young guy. Listen,
- 9:58Speaker 7: He's not going to be a thirty goals score or
- 10:00Speaker 7: even a twenty five goals score or anything like that
- 10:02Speaker 7: probably in this league. But there's a role for a
- 10:04Speaker 7: Ryan Winterton on this team. There's no doubt there's a
- 10:06Speaker 7: role for him. And and you know, play within yourself,
- 10:10Speaker 7: know what your role is, play your game. And he
- 10:13Speaker 7: did all of those things last night. I was just
- 10:15Speaker 7: a really impressive night for him and cool to see,
- 10:18Speaker 7: you know, like you know, a draft another draft pick
- 10:21Speaker 7: that makes it under the roster. I know there's there's
- 10:24Speaker 7: still the consternation here because you know they don't have
- 10:27Speaker 7: a quote unquote high end you know, aircraft carrier talent.
- 10:31Speaker 7: You know, Maddy hasn't been that yet. Although Maddy had
- 10:33Speaker 7: a great play on the on the goal that kind
- 10:35Speaker 7: of put it away last night. But and Maddy was
- 10:37Speaker 7: so responsible, was on end. You know that doesn't get
- 10:39Speaker 7: people excited though, But but yeah, seeing Ryan Winard and
- 10:42Speaker 7: winter didn't do his thing was really fun last night.
- 10:45Speaker 7: You know, you like seeing it was a great story.
- 10:46Speaker 7: You know, go out there and prove yourself in a
- 10:49Speaker 7: way he did last night. He showed I thought what
- 10:52Speaker 7: he did last night plat he just scored two goals
- 10:53Speaker 7: in a preseason game against the half of a lineup
- 10:56Speaker 7: like he did in that last game in the preseason.
- 10:59Speaker 7: It's nothing to go there and opening night against the
- 11:01Speaker 7: quality opponents that's got a lot of skill, a lot
- 11:04Speaker 7: of skill, and to look out and go out there
- 11:06Speaker 7: and fit right in not look out of place at all.
- 11:08Speaker 7: And he didn't look out of place. In fact, he
- 11:09Speaker 7: looked very much like a guy who impacted the game.
- 11:12Speaker 4: That's an Anaheim team that is on the rise, and
- 11:14Speaker 4: some are saying could be in the playoff mix here
- 11:17Speaker 4: for this year, as they've got a lot of young
- 11:19Speaker 4: kids all set to pop and a coach behind the
- 11:22Speaker 4: bench has also won three Stanley Cups in Joel Quinnville,
- 11:26Speaker 4: I do want to get to the Matty Banier's line.
- 11:28Speaker 4: I love that you brought him up and Jared mccannon
- 11:31Speaker 4: his left wing, Jordan Everley on his right wing. For
- 11:34Speaker 4: this team collectively, it took a while for them to
- 11:37Speaker 4: finally get it going. But in period three, as close
- 11:42Speaker 4: as you get to a knockout blow type of goal,
- 11:45Speaker 4: Veniers feeding McCann at the front of the net. I
- 11:49Speaker 4: look at Maddy here from this way A good start
- 11:51Speaker 4: being that he made an impact on the score sheet,
- 11:54Speaker 4: but if you could also get defense out of him
- 11:58Speaker 4: like a guy that he wants to pattern his game
- 12:00Speaker 4: after and who he watched in Boston and patrise bergeron
- 12:04Speaker 4: that's going a long long way, I think for what
- 12:07Speaker 4: you're getting out of Matty Beniers's kind of game. So
- 12:09Speaker 4: as this game progressed, what did this like? Maybe tell
- 12:13Speaker 4: us as far as what to expect.
- 12:15Speaker 7: Well, one, Jeordan Everley missing forty games last season was
- 12:19Speaker 7: really really really hurt this team, you know. And when
- 12:22Speaker 7: you look back and say, well, they missed the playoffs
- 12:24Speaker 7: by twenty points, I mean, you know there's a lot
- 12:27Speaker 7: of different metrics out there, but what would Jordan neverly
- 12:30Speaker 7: have been worth last year's point wise? Ye?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Right?
- 12:32Speaker 7: I mean it's it is it five and it's something
- 12:36Speaker 7: It's something more than zero, that's for sure. And when
- 12:40Speaker 7: he you know, ever we play on that goal was
- 12:43Speaker 7: you know, a thing of beauty like he plays it
- 12:45Speaker 7: into the corner where no one can get it except
- 12:47Speaker 7: for Maddie finds the empty space perfectly time, perfectly placed. Maddie,
- 12:52Speaker 7: working hard, gets there and sees McCann. What was he
- 12:55Speaker 7: doing driving the front of the net, which is a
- 12:58Speaker 7: major emphasis for this team in Laneland. And he finishes
- 13:01Speaker 7: off and the game you know, game over. Thanks thanks
- 13:03Speaker 7: for coming right, So just a great play all the
- 13:06Speaker 7: way around. You know, Maddi's in, he's kind of an enigma.
- 13:08Speaker 7: It's you're you're draft in that position people and have
- 13:12Speaker 7: the rookie yar you have and people would expect up,
- 13:14Speaker 7: you know, an upward climb in terms of stats every year.
- 13:18Speaker 7: That obviously hasn't happened.
- 13:20Speaker 4: But a good start for him in game one and
- 13:22Speaker 4: for the crack inside not the start they wanted for
- 13:24Speaker 4: period one, but they really found their legs, so to speak,
- 13:28Speaker 4: in period three.
- 13:28Speaker 7: Ian There's so much going on. There's so many like
- 13:32Speaker 7: with the blue carpet yesterday that was fun, you know,
- 13:35Speaker 7: the pregame festivities and introducing every player, and Brett mentioned it,
- 13:40Speaker 7: he said, hey, you know, like like if you're the
- 13:42Speaker 7: visiting team, you're in your locker room. You're just need
- 13:44Speaker 7: your routine and they tell you when to come out,
- 13:46Speaker 7: you come out, and it's a regular games. So the Kraken,
- 13:49Speaker 7: you're out of your routine. Everything is different, and I
- 13:52Speaker 7: think that's why we saw that first twenty minutes of
- 13:55Speaker 7: the slow start, and that's why they needed Joey to
- 13:57Speaker 7: be great. You get back to that, you go to
- 13:58Speaker 7: the locker room, you start your routine away, you go.
- 14:00Speaker 7: You don't have to worry about walking through and sign
- 14:02Speaker 7: an autograph. And it was great, but not to say
- 14:04Speaker 7: that's awesome for opening day. But there's just this Tractions
- 14:08Speaker 7: opening day, and we know hockey players are creatures of habit,
- 14:11Speaker 7: they just are. And they survived the twenty minutes. And
- 14:16Speaker 7: I think the most encouraging thing Mikey is that at
- 14:19Speaker 7: the end they get to the twenty minutes, we're tied
- 14:22Speaker 7: at one. The shots are off the charts in favor
- 14:25Speaker 7: of Anaheim. Seattle was just pinning its own end the
- 14:29Speaker 7: whole time. The structure was sideways. You're like, what the
- 14:32Speaker 7: hell I thought? This whole new coaching staff that's coming
- 14:34Speaker 7: in here with new structure and they're going to do this,
- 14:36Speaker 7: and they got in there. We had been done on Pipertop.
- 14:39Speaker 7: To him after the first posision, he's just like, we're
- 14:42Speaker 7: better than that. We're not doing what we're supposed to do,
- 14:44Speaker 7: but we can get there and all those things and
- 14:46Speaker 7: it was just kind of like, like, never was an
- 14:48Speaker 7: intermission needed more than after the first twenty last night,
- 14:51Speaker 7: and look what happened. They flipped the script, they turned
- 14:54Speaker 7: it around, and they were the better team the final
- 14:55Speaker 7: forty minutes.
- 14:56Speaker 4: See, I think when you put coaching in the mix,
- 14:59Speaker 4: when you put a rinded out style in the mix,
- 15:01Speaker 4: when you get great goaltending as well, Listen, you don't
- 15:04Speaker 4: need six or seven goals to wow a crowd each
- 15:07Speaker 4: and every night, you know, I mean to me, was
- 15:09Speaker 4: very apparent when I walked down from the set or
- 15:12Speaker 4: to the set on my end from the press box
- 15:14Speaker 4: before the end of the second.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Period, the crack at about roughly fifty.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Seconds of time of the offensive zone and they were
- 15:21Speaker 4: a puck possession magnet. And after that you had a
- 15:25Speaker 4: big roar out of this crowd for the effort. And
- 15:28Speaker 4: yet they didn't score.
- 15:29Speaker 1: But it was the effort.
- 15:30Speaker 4: And I thought, if you can produce that on a
- 15:32Speaker 4: consistent basis, no matter where you're at in the standings,
- 15:37Speaker 4: how many folks around here are going to be signing
- 15:39Speaker 4: up for that all season long?
- 15:41Speaker 7: And beyond well, Mike, look at look at a couple
- 15:44Speaker 7: of things that switched in this game. I mean you
- 15:46Speaker 7: talked about it earlier, Like certainly Joey kept a minute.
- 15:48Speaker 7: And that's what makes what makes things like the list
- 15:51Speaker 7: of the athletics just put out about who the best
- 15:53Speaker 7: goalies are in the league and all that stuff, right,
- 15:55Speaker 7: like you know, and I think Joey was ranked in
- 15:57Speaker 7: the twenties somewhere, and like you just first, you just
- 15:59Speaker 7: not watch the games if you're saying that, Like if
- 16:02Speaker 7: you say he's not a top ten goaltender in this league,
- 16:05Speaker 7: you're just not watching the games. You're just it's like
- 16:07Speaker 7: voting in the at College Football poll. You're voting on
- 16:10Speaker 7: a brand name. You're not voting on anything else besides
- 16:13Speaker 7: the name recognition. That's all.
- 16:14Speaker 1: You're just looking at the stat sheet. That's all it is.
- 16:17Speaker 7: That's all. You're just lazy. And because he's not that
- 16:20Speaker 7: he's better than that. But you know who needs training camp,
- 16:24Speaker 7: Brandon on tour, you know, because I think that was
- 16:29Speaker 7: the play to change the game, right, like win a
- 16:32Speaker 7: battle the defensive zone and then and then just decide
- 16:35Speaker 7: to will your way down the wall. And oh, by
- 16:38Speaker 7: the way, hey, new guy Mason Marchman going driving in
- 16:42Speaker 7: front of the net and where does he score all
- 16:44Speaker 7: his goals? Mikey right there in front of the net,
- 16:46Speaker 7: And that was a great finish by him. Gave you
- 16:48Speaker 7: a two to one lead, and that's when the game flipped.
- 16:51Speaker 7: That is when the game flipped right there. And I
- 16:55Speaker 7: think if you're Anaheim, you had to be really deflated
- 16:58Speaker 7: at that point, going await a second. We just dominated
- 17:02Speaker 7: this damn game, so like we should be up and
- 17:06Speaker 7: now all of a sudden we're down two to one
- 17:07Speaker 7: and we can't solve thirty five. It was just a
- 17:11Speaker 7: you know, it's and I think I think Al said,
- 17:13Speaker 7: I was listening to your post game shown away Home
- 17:14Speaker 7: last night. I think Al said the best, you know,
- 17:16Speaker 7: he said, Hey, you're going to write a script. That's
- 17:18Speaker 7: kind of how you want to do it. Slow, start, strong, finish,
- 17:21Speaker 7: get people fired up, and away you go and they
- 17:23Speaker 7: go home happy. And that's what we have last night.
- 17:25Speaker 7: Like I said, it's big. The road ahead is really tough,
- 17:30Speaker 7: like really really tough. But I think there's enough good
- 17:33Speaker 7: signs in there to give you some hope that this
- 17:34Speaker 7: is a this is and will be a better hockey
- 17:37Speaker 7: team than people are giving it credit for.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Anaheim mass shot the Crack in seventeen to five. You
- 17:41Speaker 4: make him believe and then you hit them with the
- 17:42Speaker 4: weird Al Yankovic track everything you know is wrong and
- 17:47Speaker 4: the script just left right from there. Yeah, I dropped
- 17:49Speaker 4: a weird Al reference here for the first time on
- 17:51Speaker 4: Cracking this morning. Look at ahead here to Vegas coming
- 17:55Speaker 4: up tonight. Oh, that's going to be a challenge. And
- 17:57Speaker 4: based on the numbers from Thursday night the hit category,
- 18:00Speaker 4: the Crack had out hit Anaheim Pause for dramatic effect.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Forty eight to thirty six.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Goodness, will they ever need that against Vegas, who won
- 18:11Speaker 4: the Mitch Marners sweepstakes. They are one of the heaviest
- 18:14Speaker 4: teams in the NHL, but they are right now tied
- 18:17Speaker 4: for the second oldest in age in the NHL, coming
- 18:21Speaker 4: off an overtime win over the San Jose Sharks.
- 18:25Speaker 1: The Crack and better be ready here to play the body.
- 18:27Speaker 7: Ian Yeah, and also getting shooting lanes. You know, Joey
- 18:31Speaker 7: said on the bench last night after the Three Stars,
- 18:33Speaker 7: he says to fight from the on the bench for
- 18:36Speaker 7: the crowd, and everybody says, you know, I don't know
- 18:38Speaker 7: how many shots we blocked. I can tell you it
- 18:40Speaker 7: was twenty seven, that's a lot. So if you're doing
- 18:45Speaker 7: that against Anaheim, and let's let's also just point out
- 18:48Speaker 7: you you mentioned earlier Anaheim is a good hockey team,
- 18:51Speaker 7: that's a field hockey team. Yeah, they're not going to
- 18:54Speaker 7: be held to one goal a lot this year. And
- 18:57Speaker 7: for you know, and then the one goal was kind
- 18:59Speaker 7: of a great want to front by the kid by Seneca.
- 19:02Speaker 7: So I mean it's that's a that's a hell of
- 19:06Speaker 7: an effort by Seattle defensively, not just the hit takeaways,
- 19:11Speaker 7: the block shots and then elite goaltending by Joey. I
- 19:14Speaker 7: guess the only question is that I texted you guys
- 19:16Speaker 7: last night on our group chat like like how many
- 19:18Speaker 7: games can Joey play?
- 19:19Speaker 3: Do we know?
- 19:20Speaker 7: Seventy seventy five?
- 19:21Speaker 5: Right?
- 19:22Speaker 1: Just pull pulled the the bro door, grand fear, No
- 19:25Speaker 1: big deal.
- 19:26Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly exactly, Ryan lin.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Gren, by the way, coming as advertised six blocked shots,
- 19:32Speaker 4: the Crack had had twenty six in that game, and
- 19:35Speaker 4: you had that number of littered across the board. As
- 19:38Speaker 4: far as guys that laid down and shot lanes. Monteur
- 19:40Speaker 4: had three, Adam Larson had three, two East Jordan Everly
- 19:44Speaker 4: Chandler Stevenson, Maddie Beniers, Jared McCann, Jamie Alexiak, Josh Mhura
- 19:50Speaker 4: as well. You tell me if there is buying all right,
- 19:54Speaker 4: gonna be a fun one Tonight Kracking Vegas seven o'clock

- 20:31Speaker 4: two and ten record. That did not mean they were
- 20:34Speaker 4: content on settling. They won the Mitch Marners Sweepstakes, getting
- 20:38Speaker 4: the Vegas forward via trade early in the offseason. He's
- 20:41Speaker 4: already got a pair of assists in two games, but
