- 0:02Human beings love subjecting others to practical jokes, but
- 0:07very likely we are not the only beings who suffer from this
- 0:11malady. Many people have had the
- 0:14experience related here by the Mother about searching for
- 0:17things, sometimes looking in the place where those things are but
- 0:21not finding them. Then later, they suddenly become
- 0:25visible again. We could interpret this to be
- 0:29inattention of some sort, or a lack of thoroughness in the
- 0:33search, or a distraction at the time of the search, or even a
- 0:38fading in and out of existence of these things.
- 0:42But the mother had her own experience which brought her to
- 0:46understand that there are in fact some small, vital entities
- 0:51who live in close proximity to our world and who take joy in
- 0:55hiding things from our view and then revealing them later.
- 1:00The mother notes quote. One of the most common
- 1:04activities of these intolerable little entities, which are in
- 1:08the human physical atmosphere and amuse themselves at men's
- 1:12expense, is to blind you to such an extent that when you look for
- 1:16something and The thing is staring you in the face, you do
- 1:20not see it. This happens very often.
- 1:24You search in vain, you turn everything over, you look into
- 1:28all possible corners, but you don't find the thing.
- 1:33Then you give up the problem, and sometime later, precisely
- 1:37when the hand over the eyes is removed, you come back to the
- 1:41same place, and it is exactly there where you have looked
- 1:46quietly lying there. It had not stirred, only you
- 1:51were unconscious, you did not see.
- 1:54This is a very, very frequent amusement of these little
- 1:57entities. They also take pleasure in
- 2:00removing things. Then they put them back.
- 2:03But at times they also don't put them back.
- 2:06They displace them. Indeed, they have all sorts of
- 2:10little diversions. They are intolerable.
- 2:13Madame Blavatsky made much use of them, but I don't know how
- 2:18she managed to make them so amiable because generally they
- 2:22are quite unpleasant. Reference Sri Aurobindo and the
