- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing.
- 0:12Genuine issues. Brought to you by The
- 0:14Hypnotherapist, Demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:18royalty, Adam Cox. These recordings took place live
- 0:22from Adam Smith in London's world famous Harley Street.
- 0:29So get yourself comfortable and enjoy today's episode of The
- 0:33Hypnotist. Hi, it's Adam here and if you've
- 0:42ever wondered if hypnosis can help you manifest a relationship
- 0:47or attract a particular type of partner, then this is the
- 0:51hypnosis session for you. What you're going to hear in
- 0:55this episode of the hypnotist is a client that I was working with
- 0:58that had been in a. Series of.
- 1:00Short term relationships. And because of that, they.
- 1:03Had this belief that the relationships were always going
- 1:06to be temporary, they would never work out, and that if
- 1:10there was someone they really wanted, they had to make most of
- 1:13the effort and for someone that they didn't want, then they'd be
- 1:17on the receiving end of attention that they didn't want.
- 1:19And what this hypnosis session does?
- 1:21Is the opposite. Of regression, it actually takes
- 1:24them forward in time to a time when they're already in the
- 1:28ideal relationship, and then they get to figure out what
- 1:31changes to their. Beliefs to their.
- 1:33Behaviour to their standards when needed to make.
- 1:37That A. Highly probable outcome, so it
- 1:41uses future pacing and working backwards rather than
- 1:45affirmations and suggestions to move forward and the reason for.
- 1:49That it comes. From a chapter from a very good
- 1:52book. Called the Seven.
- 1:53Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Arcovey where
- 1:57one of the principles is to start with the end in mind and I
- 2:01do that with every client. I asked them what would an
- 2:05ideal. Outcome be.
- 2:06If our time together doing hypnotherapy would be useful.
- 2:10So I want to start with the end in mind and that's also useful
- 2:13for goal setting or anything that you want to manifest is to
- 2:17think about what is the thing and then what would it have.
- 2:20Taken to get. That particular outcome?
- 2:24And sometimes. A useful way of thinking about
- 2:26relationships is not to focus so much on what you want, but to
- 2:31focus on you. So who do you need to be to
- 2:34attract the person that you desire?
- 2:36Is a much. Better question than why weren't
- 2:39they like me or why won't they stay with me?
- 2:41Because one is disempowering because the control is outside
- 2:44of your focus, and the other is empowering.
- 2:46Because there's things that you can do to change parts of your
- 2:49behavior, your standards, and the way in which you live.
- 2:53So the best way to get the most out of this particular session
- 2:58is to find a quiet, comfortable place where you won't be
- 3:00disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 3:18Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 3:24feeling of calm and relaxation, and as you exhale, feel a
- 3:31wonderful sense of release, as if tension, stress or worries or
- 3:37just leaving your body in your outward breath.
- 3:42As you breathe in and breathe out, notice that with your eyes
- 3:45closed, you're able to focus so much more on the sound of my
- 3:50voice. The sound of my voice is like a
- 3:56guide, guiding you to that place where things that would be
- 4:01useful to change, change, and all those wonderful things that
- 4:07are useful to stay the same, stays the same.
- 4:11And perhaps you can notice that when you slow down your breath,
- 4:20the breath can get longer. And when the breath gets longer,
- 4:27you're able to inhale more of that relaxation and exhale more
- 4:34of that tension, almost like each and every breath is taking
- 4:41you deeper and deeper, relaxed. And as your body relaxes, your
- 4:52imagination awakens. And I want you to imagine
- 4:56keeping your body exactly where it is, but allowing your
- 5:01imagination to imagine walking down a long winding path
- 5:08somewhere in Mexico. And just imagine it's maybe 20
- 5:16minutes or so before the sun sets.
- 5:21And maybe this long winding path is surrounded by certain plants,
- 5:28certain smells that give you an idea of where in the world you
- 5:33are as you continue to breathe in down.
- 5:45Imagine how good it would feel to be walking towards a beach
- 5:50with no one else there. As you walk down the path, I'm
- 5:57going to countdown from 5:00 to 1:00 with each descending
- 6:01number. Just walking down the path feels
- 6:04like you're walking towards a beach that represents a way to
- 6:10access more of your subconscious mind.
- 6:15Five, walking down that winding path, 4 as you continue to walk,
- 6:23maybe see the colors of the sky already starting to change, and
- 6:31then three, getting closer to the beach.
- 6:34Now just imagine your whole body feeling more and more relaxed,
- 6:42like you've released tension, you've released stress and
- 6:47worries, so your breathing gets more effortless, flows easier,
- 6:55and then as three times to two getting closer to the beach.
- 6:58Now just imagine that any worries are far behind and
- 7:06you're accessing that mindful part that can pay attention to
- 7:10my voice. The beach.
- 7:13The sunset. As two turns to one, just
- 7:17imagine the winding path opens up towards the beach.
- 7:24I want you to imagine wearing whatever clothing is appropriate
- 7:28for this beach. The beach at sunset, maybe you
- 7:35can imagine seeing the colours of the sky as the sun gets lower
- 7:40and lower towards the horizon. Maybe you could imagine hearing
- 7:45the gentle waves breaking on the shore.
- 7:50And maybe, maybe there's certain rock formations or boulders then
- 7:57represent stability and strength.
- 8:02And I want you to get a sense of how detached and yet connected
- 8:08you feel in this place. And I want you to imagine, for
- 8:15some reason, the most comfortable chair that exists on
- 8:18the planet is there on that beach, facing where the sun is
- 8:25setting. So imagine placing yourself on
- 8:29that chair, staring into the sunset, and just get a sense
- 8:36that as the sunsets, you're drifting into a place where your
- 8:39imagination awakens. Even more that as the sunsets,
- 8:46you drift off into a dreamlike sleep.
- 8:51And sometimes when people dream, they access a future.
- 8:58They start to think about the life that they really want to
- 9:06allow your whole body to sink into this comfy chair.
- 9:10And as the sun sets, I want you to imagine that you're drifting
- 9:17off into a dreamlike sleep, into a desirable future, perhaps just
- 9:23two or three years into the future.
- 9:29I'm gonna countdown from 5 to 1 and you will imagine the sun
- 9:32setting and you falling asleep on that chair, drifting into
- 9:36that dreamlike sleep, asleep where you see the future 5:00.
- 9:43The sun getting lower and lower towards the horizon 4.
- 9:49Seeing the orange, the yellows, the pink hues in the sky, 3
- 9:58perhaps half the sun now is already down past the line of
- 10:02the horizon. Maybe there's some low clouds
- 10:06still there in the sky. And then 2 lower and lower and
- 10:11one. Just imagine it's now officially
- 10:16the time where the sun has set. And just imagine drifting off
- 10:21into that dreamlike sleep where you get to visit a future.
- 10:30And I want you to imagine seeing yourself two or three years from
- 10:36now, looking happy looking, safe looking, content.
- 10:44You are now an invisible observer to your future self.
- 10:51And I want you to see see the clues that you are happy in this
- 10:58relationship. I want you to see that version
- 11:03of you that has freedom. You get to live the life and do
- 11:09the things that you'd like to do, no rules, no restrictions.
- 11:17And I want you to see the dynamics, the dynamics in this
- 11:22relationship. But the specific face of your
- 11:27partner in this future relationship is blurry.
- 11:31You just know that in this future relationship there is
- 11:36respect and loyalty from them to you and you to them, that even
- 11:44though they could explore other options, they choose not to.
- 11:51And also that is the same for you.
- 11:55You're making the evaluation of you in this future version.
- 12:01Doesn't need any other options, doesn't need a Plan B or a plan
- 12:07C. You are happy with exactly
- 12:11things as they are because in this future your core need is
- 12:19being met. Then you can see from your
- 12:25facial expressions and from your body language that future
- 12:30version of you feel safe because of consistency.
- 12:40And if you can see that future version of you content happy,
- 12:45safe, let me know by nodding your head.
- 12:51And I want you to see that there's other clues as well.
- 12:57Authenticity, connection. Observe yourself working up
- 13:02together, going on vacations together, working out together,
- 13:09meals together. I want you to get a sense then
- 13:15you are a source of support to them and they are a source of
- 13:18support to you. I want you to get a sense that
- 13:25this feels harmonious and balanced.
- 13:33I want you to get a sense Then there are other clues too.
- 13:41They are considerate and thinking of you often and
- 13:46equally you are of them. But I also want to see the
- 13:53lifestyle that you have in this future.
- 14:00Clues that it's not just a relationship, but the lifestyle
- 14:04that makes this future so desirable.
- 14:08And maybe the clues are the type of house you're living in, how
- 14:15you spend your time, being able to just pick up that black Amex
- 14:22and go shopping to buy the things that do two things at
- 14:30exactly the same time. An expression of freedom, but a
- 14:37sense of reassurance that you are important enough to be worth
- 14:44investing in. If you can get a sense that this
- 14:49feels like a safe, desirable, connected future, let me know by
- 14:57nodding your head. And I want you to see evidence
- 15:02that this is not temporary. Somewhere in this future, you
- 15:10will see photos, perhaps on a wall, that show perhaps key
- 15:18moments that tell you that this relationship is stable,
- 15:26consistent, and not fleeting or temporary.
- 15:30Because the photos are evidence that you've gone through ups and
- 15:35downs and are still together. That the challenges in the
- 15:41relationship are the very thing that make the relationship
- 15:45stronger. Every successful challenge that
- 15:50is navigated increases the strength of that relationship.
- 15:59And I want you to see how that person celebrates you and you
- 16:07admire them, see the safety, the freedom.
- 16:16But more importantly, I want you to see the qualities in the
- 16:21person that you're with. They are intelligent, capable,
- 16:29successful, but I want you to see that they are consistent and
- 16:36kind and respectful. And I want you to see that the
- 16:43qualities that they exude, you see even more of those qualities
- 16:49in you. Sometimes it's helpful to
- 16:55believe that like attracts like the loyalty they have for you,
- 17:01you have for them. The desire they have for you,
- 17:05you have for them, giving you absolute reassurance that there
- 17:10is no settling here. There is no compromise.
- 17:15This is something that all parts of you want.
- 17:20They are desirable for you and you are desirable for them.
- 17:25No game playing, no power dynamics.
- 17:30This is something that ticks the boxes and makes you feel good,
- 17:39and when your subconscious mind is confident that if this was
- 17:45your future, you wouldn't risk sabotaging it.
- 17:52You wouldn't need to have a backup plan.
- 17:56You would be all in on this relationship.
- 17:59Just let me know by nodding your head.
- 18:03That's it. And then step into that version
- 18:06of you. And I want you to imagine that
- 18:10this future version of you has kept a journal.
- 18:16And in that journal, you can imagine flicking through the
- 18:20pages, able to see certain beliefs that changed.
- 18:29Maybe there was a time that you didn't believe that a
- 18:31relationship was possible like this, and maybe what changed is
- 18:38that you had faith that it would.
- 18:46Maybe somewhere in that journal there was a change of strategy
- 18:52from having options open to being willing to take a risk,
- 18:57but only when it makes sense to do so.
- 19:02That by reducing options you are having a vote of confidence in
- 19:09this future possible relationship.
- 19:16Or maybe conversations that you avoided, you started to initiate
- 19:23to figure it out if it was that relationship that you wanted
- 19:27earlier. Maybe at some point you wrote in
- 19:32the journal then some things that made you felt safe, maybe
- 19:41getting in the way of something you truly wanted.
- 19:45So you changed either a boundary, a standard, or a
- 19:47strategy, knowing that in doing so, it led to the very thing
- 19:54that you desired more than the ability to protect yourself in
- 20:00the short term. And I want you to get a sense
- 20:05then the clues are there in the past.
- 20:11And one of them is feeling worthy.
- 20:16Worthy of having everything that you desire.
- 20:20Having an irrefutable belief that for the right person, they
- 20:28would never want to replace you because you are everything they
- 20:32are looking for. And anyone that would want to
- 20:36replace you would never be the relationship that you would
- 20:40desire anyway. As you flick through the pages
- 20:46of this journal, I want you to feel feel a sense of a shift
- 20:53taking place. New ways of thinking are opening
- 20:59up, beliefs that have been sabotaging at an unconscious
- 21:05level are fading away, and new beliefs are beginning to awaken.
- 21:18And I want you to think of a standard or a boundary or
- 21:27perhaps even a rule that you were following to keep you safe.
- 21:37Might be the very thing preventing this wonderful,
- 21:41desirable future. You didn't know it at the time,
- 21:47but in the future it will be obvious.
- 21:51So from this future perspective, I want your unconscious to tell
- 21:55you either now or in a future moment of intuition or epiphany,
- 22:04what that key change is that you can make to break an unconscious
- 22:11pattern of self sabotage that is rewarding in the short term, but
- 22:18perhaps frustrating in the long term.
- 22:24And if your unconscious already knows what that is, let me know
- 22:26by nodding your head. And if it doesn't know right
- 22:34now, or we'll give it the direct suggestion to go to work, to
- 22:40piece everything together and let you know in a moment of
- 22:45inspiration. When the penny.
- 22:48Drops. It's obvious, and maybe it's
- 22:52just one tiny change. Maybe it's a shift in
- 22:57perspective. Maybe.
- 23:03Maybe it's inversing a certain way of thinking, assuming that
- 23:10rather than things being temporary, the temporary things
- 23:17are just a test, a way of filtering out who doesn't have
- 23:23the qualities or level of desire needed to make this ideal
- 23:28relationship work. But if your unconscious is open
- 23:34to a shift in perspective, belief, a new strategy, or a
- 23:39higher standard to increase the probability to make it a
- 23:46certainty that you move in exactly the direction that you
- 23:50desire, let me know by nodding your head.
- 23:53That's it. And now that seed is planted
- 23:58deep in your subconscious mind, creating a ripple through time
- 24:03from the past into the present into the future, that more and
- 24:12more you will feel is inevitable.
- 24:18And that level of confidence that what you want is
- 24:22inevitable. We'll make the anxiety linked to
- 24:27anything temporary completely disappear.
- 24:35I want you to think that there was a time that there were three
- 24:41points of a triangle that made it feel that what you truly
- 24:46wanted was impossible. But I want you to imagine that
- 24:53those three points on that triangle, that two-dimensional
- 24:58shape are now growing upwards to form a pyramid.
- 25:03And the pyramid is everything that you want, something
- 25:07consistent, something good and something valuable.
- 25:13And if you're unconscious now, believes that that future is not
- 25:21just possible but inevitable, and will help you to move in
- 25:25that direction, let me know by nodding your head.
- 25:27I want you to get a sense that any
- 25:40blocks come from a place of protection.
- 25:48I want you to get a sands. Then if you were on that beach
- 25:59but there was a chain or a rope connecting you to that huge
- 26:02boulder, and just imagine that perfect relationship was at the
- 26:07other end of the beach, you would have a choice to make.
- 26:15Stay attached to the boulder. That might represent certainty
- 26:19and safety. We'll take a risk and Cut the
- 26:23Rope and move forwards to that relationship that meets all of
- 26:27your needs. And the most difficult part
- 26:31would be the journey, the moment where you Cut the Rope and move
- 26:36forward without the certainty of knowing that that future will
- 26:42happen. So let's just reassure that
- 26:46part, the part that wants to keep you safe in life.
- 26:53You'll be the way nor you learn. And what if the real thing that
- 26:59keeps you safe is wisdom and discernment from previous
- 27:05experiences? That way, either things will
- 27:10work out fine, or you will have even more specific feedback as
- 27:19to what to refine and change to increase the probability that
- 27:23the next time is more likely to give you what you really desire.
- 27:32And you don't have to cut that rope now.
- 27:36Just be willing to if you feel that the risk is worth the
- 27:42potential reward. And if your unconscious agrees,
- 27:47let me know by nodding your head.
- 27:49That's it. So imagine floating from the
- 27:54future all the way back onto that beach and just feel that
- 28:03something has changed, even if that's a sense of clarity,
- 28:08empowerment, or faith. I want you to feel that you are
- 28:15raising your standards, willing to settle or compromise less,
- 28:23but willing to give more, but only for the right person.
- 28:32And as you hold that thought, just imagine walking back up
- 28:35that winding path and a bright moonlight.
- 28:39And when you get to the top of the path, just imagine floating
- 28:44all the way back into your body as you take a deep breath in
- 28:49through your nose, hand out through your nose.
- 28:56Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 28:59Connect and calibrate into the. Here and the.
- 29:00Now as I now count from 1:00 to 10:00.
- 29:06To awaken you. Starting to count 123 Waking up
- 29:13456. More alert 7-8 Open your eyes,
- 29:17Open your eyes 910. Wide awake, wide awake, wide
- 29:23awake.
