  Speaker 2: be able to have the Holy Spirit be able to

  Speaker 2: speak through this mic and go through the listeners' ears
• 0:18
  Speaker 2: and be able to reach their hearts and minds and
• 0:20
  Speaker 2: be able to apply these verses to their lives. And

  Speaker 2: in Lord Jesus Christ's name I pray.

  Speaker 1: Amen.

  Speaker 2: So, we're going to do verse of the day again.

  Speaker 2: And we're going to let the Spirit just do its thing.

  Speaker 2: And that's the beauty of Bible study is being able to,
• 0:40
  Speaker 2: whether you're doing it individually or you're doing it as
• 0:43
  Speaker 2: a group, you're not alone. And the physical part is
• 0:52
  Speaker 2: definitely separate from the spiritual part. And when you combine
• 0:56
  Speaker 2: those two, And you're getting yourself out of yourself and
• 1:03
  Speaker 2: allowing the Holy Spirit in.

  Speaker 1: Amen? So let's jump into the verse of the day.

  Speaker 2: And the verse of the day is Philippines. And we'll
• 1:11
  Speaker 2: jump back into Philippines as well as we allow the
• 1:14
  Speaker 2: Spirit to take over the study. Philippines chapter 4 verse
• 1:20
  Speaker 2: 19 states, My Lord God in heaven has plenty of
• 1:24
  Speaker 2: good and valuable things. Because you belong to Jesus Christ.
• 1:28
  Speaker 2: God will give to you everything that you need.
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: I love that because....
• 1:40
  Speaker 2: We all talk about things that we want out of
• 1:43
  Speaker 2: this life. Whether it's material things or career or people.
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: And we lose sight of what God already gives us
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: each and every day. And not everybody is... As blessed
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: as others are.

  Speaker 2: But.
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: If you have a heart. You have somewhere to start.
• 2:07
  Speaker 2: And.

  Speaker 1: As I continue to. You know. You can hear some noise. But.

  Speaker 2: I want to get to Philippines. That same chapter.

  Speaker 1: That's horny. That right there was on. So. My Lord God.

  Speaker 2: Because God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: Three in one. The Trinity. I can get into that.

  Speaker 1: But I've already had plenty of episodes. But we're going

  Speaker 1: to break down this. Verse. My Lord God.

  Speaker 2: And heaven has plenty of good and valuable things. Because

  Speaker 2: you belong to Christ Jesus.

  Speaker 1: See how they put. Christ Jesus, his last name first.

  Speaker 1: There's meaning behind that. Let me get deeper.

  Speaker 2: God will give to you everything that you need. Our

  Speaker 2: Father God is very great. Praise him always and forever.

  Speaker 2: That verse 20, we have to give credit where credit's due.

  Speaker 2: Thank God for even having the world even be here

  Speaker 2: for us to experience this.

  Speaker 1: Even though it's not always good. Sometimes it's bad. And

  Speaker 1: Paul finishes his letter. No matter what.

  Speaker 2: Paul knew his assignment. Philippians chapter 4 verse 21 states.

  Speaker 2: Say hello on my behalf to all of God's people.

  Speaker 2: There you belong to Christ Jesus. The believers who are
• 3:51
  Speaker 2: here with me. Say hello to me. I want to
• 3:56
  Speaker 2: break that down because when you are amongst people that
• 4:02
  Speaker 2: are not of the Holy Spirit and not of God,
• 4:05
  Speaker 2: there's not going to be a whole lot of conversation.

  Speaker 1: They'll avoid you. They'll just not want to have much
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: to do with you.
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: And they might gossip about you. I mean, the list
• 4:15
  Speaker 2: goes on. All God's people here say hello. So if
• 4:21
  Speaker 2: people aren't saying hello to you or whatever.
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: There is different reasons why that may be happening.
• 4:31
  Speaker 2: But we pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will continue
• 4:34
  Speaker 2: to be kind to you so that your spirits are strong.
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: We all have a spirit. We all have a body.
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: We all have a soul.
• 4:42
  Speaker 2: We all have a mind. And I can keep going
• 4:45
  Speaker 2: down the line. But our spirit and the Holy Spirit intertwine.
• 4:52
  Speaker 2: When we get into devotion, when we get into prayer,
• 4:55
  Speaker 2: when we get into meditation, when we get into scripture,
• 4:59
  Speaker 2: when we get into worship, the more and more that
• 5:02
  Speaker 2: we increase that, the more and more we're not necessarily
• 5:07
  Speaker 2: battling against our flesh.
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: And not only that, but our will.
• 5:15
  Speaker 2: Because if it's in our hands, we could just wreck it,
• 5:21
  Speaker 2: crash out. So, Philippians chapter 4, very deep, and I
• 5:29
  Speaker 2: kind of just want to free, free fall it now
• 5:33
  Speaker 2: with nine minutes to go. You know, having it be
• 5:37
  Speaker 2: that I've been doing these episodes for a while now,
• 5:40
  Speaker 2: I'm very grateful that I have the ability to be
• 5:45
  Speaker 2: able to allow the Holy Spirit to work through me,
• 5:49
  Speaker 2: and I don't want to get too distracted. deep into
• 5:52
  Speaker 2: my story because I don't want to boast about me.
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: It's about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Amen? So,
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: understanding that.
• 6:04
  Speaker 2: Leaning not on your own emotions, not on your own thoughts,
• 6:09
  Speaker 2: being able to.
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: Know that your joy is It's determined on how much
• 6:23
  Speaker 1: you really have faith. Believing is free. But actually believing
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: takes sacrifice.
• 6:33
  Speaker 2: It takes belief in something that you can't see. But
• 6:39
  Speaker 2: just because you can't see it doesn't mean you can't
• 6:41
  Speaker 2: feel it. And not everybody that follows Christ believes. And
• 6:46
  Speaker 2: believes in Christ. Feels the Holy Spirit. And that's what
• 6:49
  Speaker 2: I want to talk a little bit about. Because there's
• 6:53
  Speaker 2: a lot of confusion with the church. A lot of
• 6:57
  Speaker 2: churches that don't break down the Trinity of God, Jesus,
• 7:03
  Speaker 2: and the Holy Spirit. And why we worship Jesus. The
• 7:07
  Speaker 2: Son of God. And also, excuse me, the Son of Man.
• 7:13
  Speaker 2: Not only was he an example, but he left his spirit,
• 7:16
  Speaker 2: his Holy Spirit, here that can multiply into, obviously, individually
• 7:25
  Speaker 2: spirited into us. And that's the beauty of how Jesus
• 7:29
  Speaker 2: said that we would do even greater things than him
• 7:32
  Speaker 2: for the spirit that he left us until we can
• 7:34
  Speaker 2: be with him in heaven. And that's something that we
• 7:39
  Speaker 2: need to discuss because.
• 7:42
  Speaker 2: You'll hear some people say that Jesus is right next
• 7:45
  Speaker 2: to you. Like the ghost of Jesus. And I just
• 7:50
  Speaker 2: can't believe that. But what I can believe is there's
• 7:54
  Speaker 2: guardian angels and there's also the Holy Spirit that can
• 7:57
  Speaker 2: live in my heart. The same power and authority that
• 8:01
  Speaker 2: rose Jesus from the dead actually lives in me if
• 8:07
  Speaker 2: I give it permission to.
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: Here's the thing where a lot of people... they get
• 8:13
  Speaker 1: astray and they get scared in order to be a.
• 8:21
  Speaker 2: Vessel of God and to be actually his follower you
• 8:25
  Speaker 2: know you have to put on his consciousness what he
• 8:28
  Speaker 2: would do not what you would do in every situation
• 8:31
  Speaker 2: now that doesn't mean you're going to always be perfect
• 8:33
  Speaker 2: and every outcome is going to be just like what
• 8:36
  Speaker 2: Jesus would do excuse me it might be getting a
• 8:39
  Speaker 2: little cold I hope not I think it's just allergies,
• 8:43
  Speaker 2: but Jesus was not only giving us the Holy Spirit,
• 8:50
  Speaker 2: but also gave 500 plus eyewitnesses sight of him after
• 9:03
  Speaker 2: him saying exactly that he was going to be raised.
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: From the dead.
• 9:12
  Speaker 2: And his disciples and other people already saw him rise
• 9:15
  Speaker 2: people from the dead, give sight to the blind, heal
• 9:20
  Speaker 2: the handicapped. And still some of them didn't understand what
• 9:25
  Speaker 2: was happening when Jesus left and he went back to heaven.
• 9:30
  Speaker 2: And it's a beautiful thing what the Holy Spirit can do.
• 9:37
  Speaker 2: What I've experienced... And I have five more minutes. I
• 9:41
  Speaker 2: also want to talk about where I'm at in my recovery.
• 9:47
  Speaker 2: It being over two years and being able to obtain
• 9:50
  Speaker 2: this wisdom that I've been able to obtain being spiritually fit,
• 9:55
  Speaker 2: physically fit, mentally fit. and now it's going to be
• 10:01
  Speaker 2: eventually financially fit and I look forward to what's going
• 10:05
  Speaker 2: to transpire in the next six months we all have
• 10:11
  Speaker 2: to realize that God's purpose in our life he never
• 10:14
  Speaker 2: said that it was going to be easy in the
• 10:16
  Speaker 2: bible how he was going to get us there Depression, anxiety, fear, doubt, self, insecurities.
• 10:27
  Speaker 2: We can keep going down the list, but God is
• 10:30
  Speaker 2: the complete opposite. And when you have him completely tapped
• 10:33
  Speaker 2: in into your spirit by having the Holy Spirit, by
• 10:38
  Speaker 2: having the relationship with Jesus, right? Allowing Jesus' spirit that
• 10:42
  Speaker 2: he left here when he left here. I hope that
• 10:47
  Speaker 2: makes a little bit more sense for you. Because there's somebody...
• 10:51
  Speaker 2: And not maybe just one buddy. That needed to hear that.
• 10:56
  Speaker 2: And needed to understand. And that's why I do these
• 11:00
  Speaker 2: Bible studies as well. Because for 20 years I was
• 11:04
  Speaker 2: a believer. But there was a lot of those times
• 11:06
  Speaker 2: that the church and the people that did Bible studies
• 11:08
  Speaker 2: kind of steered me away. So I found another route.
• 11:12
  Speaker 2: And being able to keep it cordial and understandable. kind
• 11:19
  Speaker 2: of Bible study with preaching and teaching it as well. So,
• 11:25
  Speaker 2: I got three minutes. It is angel time. I know
• 11:28
  Speaker 2: what it is to be demon time. I just wanted
• 11:30
  Speaker 2: to go ahead and kind of let the spirit talk
• 11:32
  Speaker 2: too as well as there is no one that can
• 11:38
  Speaker 2: get you out of your situation but yourself. And I
• 11:42
  Speaker 2: say yourself, but it's not just only yourself.
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: You have to.
• 11:47
  Speaker 2: Be open to realizing that you are strong, but you
• 11:52
  Speaker 2: are only as strong.
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: As you stop doing wrong.
• 12:02
  Speaker 2: Because the more and more that you continue to do wrong,
• 12:04
  Speaker 2: the more and more you're building a character of non-authentic,
• 12:14
  Speaker 2: not being authentic enough to be able to say that
• 12:17
  Speaker 2: you can be reliable.
• 12:22
  Speaker 1: And this has been a great episode.
• 12:29
  Speaker 2: I'm very thankful for where I'm at in my sobriety
• 12:33
  Speaker 2: I'm very thankful for where I'm at faith faith wise
• 12:36
  Speaker 2: my spirituality my relationships God's will AA significant other brother
• 12:47
  Speaker 2: mother And that's just what it just continues to be.
• 12:50
  Speaker 1: And I'm not doing this alone. I put God first.
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: I won't lose. Even if I lose everything on my list.
• 13:00
  Speaker 1: As long as I have number one. He will always provide.
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: He will always replace. Anything.
• 13:08
  Speaker 2: That is misplaced. Be thankful for the life that you have.
• 13:14
  Speaker 2: There's somebody that's praying in a. Hospital bed. They wish
• 13:18
  Speaker 2: they had your kind of life. Your kind of problems.
• 13:24
  Speaker 2: Just remember also. You don't have to live this life alone.
• 13:29
  Speaker 2: Find a small group. Allow the Holy Spirit in. Surrender
• 13:35
  Speaker 2: to Jesus. Because he's going to be the only one.
• 13:39
  Speaker 2: That helps you win. And it's not about.
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: Oh success. Success. It's all about getting your rest.
• 13:47
  Speaker 2: It's all about enjoying life and enjoying it after this
• 13:50
  Speaker 2: too because we're going to be glorified with God. So
• 13:53
  Speaker 2: that's something to celebrate. That's something to get ready for
• 13:57
  Speaker 2: and stay ready. I know I am and this is
• 14:01
  Speaker 2: the Power Minute. There were so many times where I
• 14:07
  Speaker 2: had to call upon Jesus because there was nobody else
• 14:09
  Speaker 2: to save me.
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: I couldn't even save myself.
• 14:15
  Speaker 2: So me being where I'm at today, if God can
• 14:18
  Speaker 2: turn this zombie, because I was once a zombie, into
• 14:24
  Speaker 2: a messenger, he can turn you into something too. You're
• 14:28
  Speaker 2: not too far gone for God to use you. And
• 14:30
  Speaker 2: it's not use you as abuse you. It's actually to
• 14:33
  Speaker 2: use you as a vessel to show that he can
• 14:37
  Speaker 2: repair brokenness.
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: He can repair the things that you cannot repair.
• 14:44
  Speaker 2: That you keep trying to run away from or that
• 14:46
  Speaker 2: you try to keep to yourself.
• 14:49
