- 1:39Tonight is going to be a pretty interesting
- 1:40show, this whole week's engaging show, so today
- 1:43is Saturday, it's January 10th, it's 2026.
- 1:48And this is a Saturday, and that means
- 1:50it's a brand new master topic for everyone.
- 1:52So let's kick this off.
- 1:54Yes.
- 1:54Inspirations for your life show, guys.
- 1:56It is great to be with you.
- 1:58It's the Daily Motivational Show.
- 2:02And we're talking this week all about winning
- 2:05without losing yourself.
- 2:08And this is series five, show three, episode
- 2:13number one.
- 2:18So purpose without pressure is what we're out
- 2:21today.
- 2:21By the way, guys, I am your host,
- 2:23John C.
- 2:24Morley, serial entrepreneur.
- 2:26It's always such a privilege and a pleasure
- 2:28to be with you guys here on the
- 2:31show.
- 2:32Not only am I a serial entrepreneur, I'm
- 2:35also an engineer, marketing specialist, video producer, and
- 2:40of course, yes, a passionate lifelong learner.
- 2:43So welcome back to the Inspirations for Your
- 2:45Life show.
- 2:46It's the Daily Motivational Show.
- 2:48It's designed to help you grow with intention,
- 2:51clarity, and confidence.
- 2:53And again, I'm your host, and it's such
- 2:55a privilege and such a pleasure to be
- 2:56with every one of you here.
- 2:59Thank you so much for coming back and
- 3:02soaking up all this great information.
- 3:04And so, ladies and gentlemen, of course, being
- 3:06a passionate lifelong learner, life always gets more
- 3:09fun.
- 3:10This show isn't about hype or hustle for
- 3:13the sake of hustle itself, because a lot
- 3:16of shows out there are about that hustle
- 3:19or about that stuff that's really not true.
- 3:24It's about building a life that actually works
- 3:28professionally, mentally, well, and emotionally.
- 3:32And today's episode is about quiet power, winning
- 3:36without losing yourself.
- 3:38So let's get right into our first topic,
- 3:40okay?
- 3:41Number one, you don't have to prove your
- 3:44purpose to live it.
- 3:47Purpose isn't a performance.
- 3:49You don't need to announce or defend it.
- 3:51When something is real, it doesn't need permission.
- 3:57And so we call that authenticity, something that
- 4:00I think a lot of people miss.
- 4:02But authenticity is a very, very important thing.
- 4:06And again, it's something that a lot of
- 4:07people, like I say, they definitely miss this.
- 4:11So let's get off the point number two.
- 4:14Number two is purpose.
- 4:15Purpose doesn't scream.
- 4:17It shows up daily, okay?
- 4:19So purpose lives in consistency, not drama, okay?
- 4:24And so small choices, guys, that's right.
- 4:28Small choices are really the key.
- 4:33They're the key with everything you guys do,
- 4:37all right?
- 4:38They help us shape the big futures, the
- 4:41bigger picture.
- 4:42I think sometimes, you know, we get lost
- 4:44along the trail.
- 4:46And, you know, that's completely okay to get
- 4:48lost.
- 4:49There's nothing wrong with that.
- 4:50But we do have to make sure that
- 4:51we get ourselves back on track, all right?
- 4:57So that is very, very important for each
- 5:00and every one of us.
- 5:02So stop chasing urgency, guys.
- 5:05Start choosing direction.
- 5:07Urgency creates stress.
- 5:09You haven't guessed that already.
- 5:10Direction creates results.
- 5:12So let's keep focusing on direction, all right?
- 5:17All right, number four, being aligned beats being
- 5:20busy.
- 5:22Busy drains you.
- 5:23Alignment moves you forward.
- 5:26Number five, purpose grows in stillness, not chaos.
- 5:32Quiet allows us to clarify and to get
- 5:36things to the surface.
- 5:38Number six, guys, number six is I think
- 5:40is a very important one.
- 5:42And that's you're not too late.
- 5:44You're never too late.
- 5:45You're learning.
- 5:46There is no universal timeline for growth.
- 5:49It's whenever we're ready for it.
- 5:51So whenever we're ready for it, that's when
- 5:53growth is ready to show up for us
- 5:54in our lives every single day.
- 5:57So I think that's a very, very important
- 6:00thing for everyone here to understand.
- 6:02Number seven, guys, quietly.
- 6:08Clarity outperforms the loud confusion.
- 6:11Clear focus beats the frantic movement.
- 6:14Number eight, purpose isn't bound.
- 6:17It's built, guys.
- 6:18Purpose is constructed through choice and courage.
- 6:22A lot of people think you just get
- 6:25it.
- 6:25You don't.
- 6:27You become it.
- 6:28Number nine, guys.
- 6:31You don't owe the world speed, depth and
- 6:36mastery.
- 6:36So, guys, I want you to definitely do
- 6:39this.
- 6:39I want you to take your time.
- 6:44That's right.
- 6:45Depth and mastery, they take time.
- 6:47So don't be upset if things don't go
- 6:49the way you want right away.
- 6:51If there's noise cluttering you, you're not getting
- 6:54results.
- 6:55Calm down.
- 6:55You'll execute better that way and you'll produce
- 6:59lasting outcomes and results.
- 7:00You know, you and many other people will
- 7:03be very happy and proud that you have.
- 7:06Number seven, guys.
- 7:09Um, purpose, uh, number 11, excuse me, a
- 7:12purpose.
- 7:13It feels calm, not frantic.
- 7:17Alignment brings grounded energy.
- 7:21I think when we can understand what grounded
- 7:23energy is, well, we can actually make some
- 7:26pretty interesting calculated decisions and maybe we couldn't
- 7:30in the past, so that's really important number
- 7:3412 guys.
- 7:35Yes.
- 7:35Number 12, number 12 is, um, is very
- 7:40important.
- 7:41Uh, we're 12 is progress.
- 7:46Doesn't need applause.
- 7:49Growth counts even when it's unseen.
- 7:53Now, a lot of people might say, John,
- 7:54you know, I can't do something when I
- 7:57don't see it, but that's exactly when things
- 7:59can happen when they are not seen.
- 8:03Okay.
- 8:04When they are not seen.
- 8:08Um, that's important to understand.
- 8:12Um, so let's dive into a little more.
- 8:15Okay.
- 8:15Number 13, when it's right, it feels grounded.
- 8:22Um, it has a purpose.
- 8:23It stabilizes rather than shaking you up at
- 8:27your core.
- 8:28And some people, you know, they feel the
- 8:31only way they're going to learn is to
- 8:32get shooken up at the core, but that's
- 8:34not really what it's all about.
- 8:37Um, I think most people get a little
- 8:41bit impatient.
- 8:42Okay.
- 8:46Um, they, they get impatient and the reason
- 8:48they get impatient, um, because they want everything
- 8:56now.
- 8:57And I know we all get impatient sometimes,
- 9:00right?
- 9:00But we have to be patient and wait
- 9:03for things to come to us.
- 9:05I mean, that's a, that's a lifelong lesson.
- 9:07I think that everybody in life has just
- 9:09been trying to learn from time to time.
- 9:13Um, you know, they, they, they just, they
- 9:16try to learn that from time to time
- 9:17and they try to realize what's actually going
- 9:21on.
- 9:22And so when we think about this, we
- 9:25can actually, uh, ask ourself, you know, what
- 9:28is really going on in our life?
- 9:30I mean, I think that's the problem.
- 9:33Um, if we don't know what's going on,
- 9:35it's like, well, how do we take it
- 9:37from part a to part B or even
- 9:39to jump someone else?
- 9:40We can't.
- 9:42Um, and it's not because we don't want
- 9:45to.
- 9:46It's because we don't know the path.
- 9:48We don't know the roadmap.
- 9:50It's like getting up in the airplane and
- 9:52we don't have a flight plan, right?
- 9:54We could guess, but there could be problems.
- 9:57There could be planes on that track, right?
- 10:00So we have to know our course of
- 10:03direction every single day.
- 10:08All right.
- 10:08Every single day.
- 10:10Uh, that's important to understand.
- 10:13We have to know what it is every
- 10:14single day.
- 10:14And once we know what it is, then
- 10:17we can move forward and then we can
- 10:19actually explore and say, oh, this is what
- 10:21we need to be doing.
- 10:22This is not what we need to be
- 10:23doing.
- 10:24Does that make sense?
- 10:26Everybody.
- 10:26So knowing our direction, knowing our coordinates, uh,
- 10:30allow us to plan, um, how we're going
- 10:34to execute something.
- 10:35Okay.
- 10:36Uh, I think that's, uh, I think that's
- 10:38important to, to realize how we're going to
- 10:41execute something.
- 10:43Um, and so we don't have to know
- 10:49the entire piece.
- 10:51Okay.
- 10:51But we do need to have an understanding
- 10:54of where we want to go.
- 10:57Okay.
- 10:58Um, a lot of people think they know
- 11:02where they want to go and they focus
- 11:07on going there and they get the direction
- 11:10to going there, but that's really not where
- 11:12they wanted to go.
- 11:14Does that make sense?
- 11:15They went there because, well, they thought that
- 11:19was the place that was, that was the
- 11:20place they, that was the place they thought
- 11:22that they wanted to go, but for whatever
- 11:24reason, they went to this place, but it
- 11:30didn't have anything they needed.
- 11:34It wasn't going to advance them.
- 11:36It's like never played chess or never played
- 11:38any board game.
- 11:39You have to collect certain pieces along the
- 11:41way.
- 11:42Right.
- 11:42And so what am I going to get
- 11:45if I don't get to the next spot?
- 11:47Right.
- 11:47If I don't start putting houses on my
- 11:50properties that I bought, how am I going
- 11:53to gain money back?
- 11:55Right.
- 11:56Put houses or put hotels.
- 11:57So people land there.
- 11:58I can have a higher rent for that.
- 12:02That's how that works.
- 12:04Number 14 direction always matters more than the
- 12:07pace.
- 12:08So slow movement in the right direction still
- 12:11wins every single time.
- 12:14And I think a lot of people, they
- 12:19want everything now.
- 12:20They want everything very, very fast, but being
- 12:25fast is not enough.
- 12:28Being fast can actually harm or hurt you
- 12:30and it can harm or hurt you.
- 12:33You know why?
- 12:38Because it's going to be challenging.
- 12:42Challenging when you don't understand where to go.
- 12:52Um, that's important to know.
- 12:58And when we start to realize or have
- 13:01these little mini epiphany moments, that's when we
- 13:04have to say, okay, self I'm getting this
- 13:07sign that I shouldn't do this, or I'm
- 13:09getting the sign that I should do this.
- 13:10I should respond.
- 13:11I should react.
- 13:12Right.
- 13:14That's the whole, that's really the whole, that's
- 13:16really the whole key in life.
- 13:18Right.
- 13:19That's a very, very important thing for everyone
- 13:22to understand.
- 13:24Number 15 purpose doesn't exhaust you.
- 13:27Resistance does.
- 13:29Fighting alignment will drain the energy out of
- 13:32you every single time.
- 13:34Yes, it will.
- 13:34Every single time it will drain the energy
- 13:37right out of you.
- 13:39Uh, be like you burn out.
- 13:40Success does not require self-destruction.
- 13:43A lot of people think it does.
- 13:45And what does this do?
- 13:46It complicates things.
- 13:47It makes you well, keep starting back off
- 13:51at the drawing board all over again.
- 13:53It's not like you wanted to do that,
- 13:55but you're forced to do that.
- 13:58So that's what goes on.
- 14:02Um, you know, that's important to know.
- 14:09Um, so we've got to think about where
- 14:16we're going.
- 14:17We got to think about why we're going
- 14:19there and how is this going to make
- 14:22us a better version of ourselves?
- 14:24How is this going to help us?
- 14:26Or how is this going to land us
- 14:27to go somewhere different?
- 14:31How is it going to take us to
- 14:32a level that most people like just don't
- 14:36realize?
- 14:37And I want to tell you that it's
- 14:41important.
- 14:42It's important that, um, you realize what's going
- 14:47on in your life.
- 14:48Okay.
- 14:49Um, it's very, very important to, to realize
- 14:54that.
- 14:55And when you realize that it's like something
- 14:59will snap, something will clip in your mind,
- 15:02right?
- 15:06Um, so that's important to see.
- 15:10That's important to know.
- 15:11Um, because when that happens, people suddenly
- 15:20say, okay, um, you know, it's okay, and
- 15:26this is where we're at, but do we
- 15:28really want to be this way or do
- 15:31we not?
- 15:32And I think that comes down to a
- 15:35message that links back to our core values,
- 15:37our core values about who we are, about
- 15:39what we do, about why we do things.
- 15:42That's where that comes from.
- 15:44Number 17, calm decisions age better.
- 15:49Wisdom compounds over time.
- 15:51So let's enjoy time.
- 15:54Let's embrace it.
- 15:56Let's not try to rush time.
- 15:58Number 18, purpose survives doubt.
- 16:02Ego doesn't.
- 16:04Purpose endures uncertainty.
- 16:07So life is all about purpose.
- 16:11It's all about where we are, what we're
- 16:14doing, why we're doing certain things.
- 16:16And I think when this starts to kick
- 16:18in, you're like, okay, now I'm starting to
- 16:20understand like why I did that.
- 16:22Now I'm starting to realize why I'm thinking
- 16:24that way.
- 16:26All right.
- 16:27Um, it's not hard, but sometimes it gets
- 16:32confusing.
- 16:34We think that we're on the right track.
- 16:38Um, but then we're actually not even in
- 16:42the right stadium and you might've spent all
- 16:49this time to figure out you're actually were
- 16:53in the wrong stadium.
- 16:56Forget what track you were on.
- 16:58You were in the wrong stadium.
- 16:59It's like being in not just the wrong,
- 17:02uh, terminal, the airport, you were in the
- 17:06wrong airport instead of being in LaGuardia, you
- 17:10were in Newark or instead of being Newark,
- 17:12you were in LaGuardia.
- 17:16And that happens when we look at the
- 17:18big picture of our life.
- 17:21The big picture doesn't always get revealed when
- 17:24we're hustling and bustling and, you know, moving
- 17:26around so very quickly in life.
- 17:28I think that can be a challenge for
- 17:29a lot of people.
- 17:31Number 19, you're allowed guys to move slowly
- 17:35and still win.
- 17:37Consistency keeps you in the game.
- 17:39Let's remember that it's not a fight for
- 17:42how quick we can do something.
- 17:43It's about being consistent.
- 17:45It's about the resilience we have.
- 17:47I've, I've mentioned this to you guys a
- 17:49few times before.
- 17:51And you might say, John, I've heard this
- 17:52before.
- 17:53I know you've heard it before, but are
- 17:55you living up to it?
- 17:56Are you actually being that, or are you
- 18:00just kind of throwing off the side?
- 18:08Okay.
- 18:09What are you doing?
- 18:15I think that's a problem for a lot
- 18:18of people because they're focused on one direction.
- 18:22Like I told you, they were focused on
- 18:24getting to LaGuardia when they're supposed to be
- 18:26at Newark.
- 18:27And this is all because he or she
- 18:30missed the granular details.
- 18:33If you ever, uh, watch some of these
- 18:35shows, like the greatest challenge.
- 18:37And I remember watching the show, uh, not
- 18:39too long ago and one team was eliminated
- 18:42because, well, they got tickets to the wrong
- 18:46destination and there was no time for them
- 18:52to get back and get to the right
- 18:53destination.
- 18:55Number 20 guys, peace is a productivity multiplier.
- 19:01Calm your focus.
- 19:02This will sharpen the execution that you need.
- 19:05Number 21, alignment beats acceleration.
- 19:08Every single time speed without purpose leads to
- 19:12break down, which is why we've always got
- 19:16to be focused.
- 19:17We've always gotta be knowing what we're doing,
- 19:22right?
- 19:23If we don't, and we've spent all this
- 19:25time, let's say working on a task and
- 19:27we were undoing something instead of putting something
- 19:30together, we just wasted all that time, number
- 19:3422, not every moment needs an action.
- 19:41Pausing prevents the wasted effort, but some people
- 19:44feel that, you know, we should never pause,
- 19:48we should never take a break.
- 19:49I'm here to tell you, you've got to
- 19:51take a break.
- 19:52You've got to pause sometimes you've got to
- 20:00take a pause sometimes.
- 20:03And if you don't, then you could miss
- 20:10something.
- 20:14We have to approach things strategically.
- 20:20Think of it like gambling and I'm not
- 20:21a gambler, but think of it like gambling.
- 20:23Okay.
- 20:23So if you're playing blackjack and you ask
- 20:27the dealer to hit you and you go
- 20:29over 21, will you lose, right?
- 20:33If you know you're close, you're going to
- 20:35tell him to stay, but gambling, it's either
- 20:44all or nothing.
- 20:46So we put something down and you lose
- 20:49what you lose everything.
- 20:52If you win, you win.
- 20:57But when you move on, sometimes people say,
- 20:59well, gee, I don't want to just gamble
- 21:00a little bit, I want to gamble everything.
- 21:02And that's not smart.
- 21:03This also happens a lot in negotiations.
- 21:06Sometimes there's a deal on the table and
- 21:08you say X dollars or X thousands.
- 21:12And then you kind of agree, but then
- 21:17you want to push further for more.
- 21:20You know, the person was willing to accept
- 21:221600, 25,000, wherever it was.
- 21:26Now you want to push for 30,000.
- 21:28And I say, no, you can't go back
- 21:30to 25,000.
- 21:32You lost.
- 21:34So we have to be cognizant of our
- 21:40surroundings and how things are playing.
- 21:43Number 23 guys, purpose whispers before it roars.
- 21:49I think that's a very, um, I think
- 21:51that's a very, very important.
- 21:59That's important.
- 22:06That makes sense.
- 22:09I hope it does listen early guys.
- 22:16Don't be such in a jump to make
- 22:18it being centered as a competitive advantage, calm
- 22:29down and stand out in the chaos.
- 22:32And you'll be grateful that you actually did
- 22:34that.
- 22:36You don't need permission to live intentionally.
- 22:39Your values don't need approval.
- 22:41I want to share another thing.
- 22:42Um, recently I was making a post to
- 22:44a social media group and one that I've
- 22:47been in for many, many years.
- 22:49And I decided to approach this a little
- 22:52bit differently.
- 22:53I decided to basically not talk about myself,
- 22:58even though I wasn't selling anything or promoting
- 23:00anything.
- 23:01I decided to just go in there with,
- 23:02um, a neutral view of something that we
- 23:07all had a commonality for in the group.
- 23:09And do you know what happened guys?
- 23:12Something very amazing happened, something amazing.
- 23:26What do you think happened?
- 23:36I'm going to tell you what happened.
- 23:38Something very interesting happened.
- 23:41So this particular group, I'm not going to
- 23:42name the group for, obviously for security reasons,
- 23:45um, but this post that I made, okay,
- 23:50is still on the top from five hours
- 23:53ago.
- 23:54It has four likes and has 16 comments.
- 24:09That's, that's pretty impressive guys.
- 24:27Is that impressive to you?
- 24:29It's, it's very impressive to me.
- 24:33And I can tell you that, um, it's
- 24:37something a lot of people, they don't realize
- 24:41it, they don't realize like what it means
- 24:44and to be in this group for many
- 24:47years and to finally have something that made
- 24:49a, a very, very big impact.
- 24:59Okay.
- 25:01Um, that's pretty important guys.
- 25:07Very important.
- 25:17But if you don't know where things are,
- 25:19like in this group, I could have totally
- 25:21been in a different place.
- 25:37What does that mean to you?
- 25:44What does that mean to you?
- 25:56What does it really mean to you?
- 26:04It means that we have to be understanding.
- 26:21And if we don't, then we're going to
- 26:27be pitching the wrong way.
- 26:28Like with this group that I was with,
- 26:30I was wondering why I was going nowhere
- 26:33and it wasn't the people.
- 26:37It wasn't how I was posting.
- 26:43It was the content of my post.
- 26:47As I said, your values don't need approval,
- 26:49but you got to make sure an alignment
- 26:51with things.
- 27:01And if you don't, that can be a
- 27:04serious, serious problem.
- 27:19You don't need approval, but you do need
- 27:20to be in alignment if you want to
- 27:21go somewhere.
- 27:22So number 26 purposes, patient growth and allow
- 27:26it to unfold over time.
- 27:27Number 27, sustainable success feels boring at first
- 27:31consistency builds what excitement can not ever.
- 27:35Number 28, slow growth compounds.
- 27:37Best steady progress becomes unstoppable.
- 27:41We're 29 inner clarity beats external validation.
- 27:46Trust yourself guys.
- 27:48You're very smart.
- 27:49Purpose doesn't chase trends.
- 27:52What's aligned lasts.
