- 0:03Enough is enough. I don't have any serious shuck and we hold the world
- 0:09ransom for me. Excuse me while I whip this out broadcasting live and Atlanta,
- 0:17Georgia. This this is the sports ship with Wayne you big men,
- 0:29come so far, comes it comes Anne. Isn't just I'm a doing Yeah,
- 0:39I'm gonna go on the way you Magan, welcome, welcome, welcome
- 0:45you out there that are religious? Are you nine religious people? Make sure
- 0:49right now you get down on your knees. Quote a scripture to pray for
- 0:53me. I got two bad producers in the building, one in my one
- 0:56in my back pocket, and one in my front pocket. They fifty five
- 1:00plus. They think that this is an easy win. But I still have
- 1:06the ability to knock two people out at once. So get on and get
- 1:10me a prayer. The illustrious Donny Brown is in the building. He's traveled
- 1:14all the way from out of the state to come down here to personally show
- 1:19me while him and the bad producer are on Instagram together. But Big Kenny
- 1:26is in the building. The bad producer is in the building. Command you.
- 1:30Greg is on the ones in two is gonna be that kind of night?
- 1:34It was that kind of weekend Great Basketball, Cheryl Swoops talking about black
- 1:38people can't be racist. Bad producer think the referee got more power in the
- 1:42game. Boopsy Bad at the Hawks game with a police monagor Big Kenny.
- 1:48I wanted to ask you turn the bad producer mic off real quick because he
- 1:52might say something. I'm talking to Big Kenny, that's gonna just throw the
- 1:55whole segment off. But Big Kenny, what's the range of the inkle monitor?
- 2:00The rapper hip hop guy Boosie Bad. Last night, I went down
- 2:04to take I had some fresh beignets, and I knew Zion was in town,
- 2:08and so you went to entice it. So I went to trip off
- 2:13his game. He went to throw them off, blow a little dust in
- 2:17this direction, and now he can't concentrate. But the Hornets, excuse me,
- 2:23the Pelicans were in town. There used to be the Hornets when I
- 2:27played in New Orleans. The Pelicans in town last night, taking advantage of
- 2:31the Hawks injuries. Out of the Hawks famously, Trey Young was out,
- 2:37Jayalen Johnson was out as well. But little rip hip hop guy and he
- 2:44had It's not just about him, because I don't know how ankle monitors work.
- 2:47First of all, I don't know what kind of release, Uh you're
- 2:51punishing him with if he still gets to go to the game for the game,
- 2:57then if he still gets to go to the game, then and you
- 3:00really aren't on any kind of treatment in my mind right? Right? Is
- 3:06that correct? It's growing up where it seems a little bit lead in.
- 3:10I mean, were you ever on punishment growing up? Yeah, you're on
- 3:13punishment meaning you don't get to stay out till midnight, but you got to
- 3:16be here by eleven thirty, So what is the punishment? And if I
- 3:22get to still go to the Pelican Hawk game, but I'm under sat so
- 3:29what kind of punished? But what kind of punishment is that you're saying?
- 3:32As long as I don't leave a state that you you see that as some
- 3:37kind of punishment. I mean like he can't like tour? He can?
- 3:42Yeah? No yet, no, yes he can, Yes he can now
- 3:45because because touring is my occupation, I can get clearance to leave the state
- 3:51for work. But outside outside of that, I just I just have to
- 3:58suffer the bad man. Yeah, I just have to sufforate the embarrassment of
- 4:01wearing an ankle monitor. Well, but the only reason you could see because
- 4:05he wore some shorts. He wanted you, he wanted you to see it.
- 4:10So it's black, it's small, so easily you could wear some jeans
- 4:14something to cover it up if you didn't want people to know that I just
- 4:16or not committed crime. I just understand that, how is it punishment if
- 4:21a person is still getting to enjoy their life. It's not. It's not.
- 4:29And that's why I stand for the flag Sports John, because you could
- 4:31be a known convicted criminal and still show up at the game because you know
- 4:39the justice system saying I made my bond, I met my my my requirements,
- 4:45I signed a couple of papers, and I'm right back at it.
- 4:48So very interesting. I'm still God bless America. Basically, you're just saying
- 4:54I can't do what leave. You just want to know where I I am.
- 5:00You don't care what I'm doing. You just want to know in case
- 5:03you need to ask me some questions. You just want to know that I'm
- 5:08at the Hookah Lounge. It doesn't make a difference to what I'm doing there.
- 5:11You just want to know that I'm there. So location only, location
- 5:14only, that's all you're concerned with. That don't seem like real punishment.
- 5:17Yeah, God bless them. As long as you don't across the state line.
- 5:20I mean that's without permission, yeah right, trust me, I believe
- 5:27I know more people on probation and parole than anybody here in the rooms.
- 5:32You can get permission for extending amounts of time. Now I get me a
- 5:35ten day pass. I can go across the state lines handle my business for
- 5:39ten days, and then at the end of that tenth day, if you're
- 5:42available, I come check in with you. But if you ain't available,
- 5:46then I got to get an appointment, which might be another ten days,
- 5:48which mean I can still be across state liners. You just think because I
- 5:51ain't got the thing on one, But if I got the thing, I'm
- 5:54gonna have to come back because you could prove I wouldn't. And so you
- 5:57know, I'm not putting down more of this is just the curiosity of what
- 6:00is your punishment, regardless of it could have been other people in there with
- 6:04the same issue. I just didn't get to me. If I'm at a
- 6:10stage where I have to be an ankle monitor, then other all that activity
- 6:15stuff she should get out of the window too. So either you're at work
- 6:20depends on or home. But not no, no, no, no,
- 6:24no no no. I'm talking about when any crime reach need a monitor me
- 6:30to have to monitor you, then it should be a removal from society home,
- 6:36if you didn't go to work or some kind of medical somebody got sick
- 6:42and you had to go see about them kind of thing. Then if I
- 6:46can, if you can still go out and have Vignet's with zions. But
- 6:53sports and I have caused no chaos, Now what I'm saying Watching the Hawks
- 6:57play without trade and of like punishment, Oh no, no, like being
- 7:00punished a little bit. Not actually no, no no, he's still a
- 7:02good, solid game. It's still a good solid game. But I just
- 7:05didn't understand what true punishment is if you don't take anything away. God blessed
- 7:11the American justices. Yeah, Bootsy, you know who's a big Hawk fan.
- 7:15He's always at the game. Uh, he's from New Orleans. He
- 7:17was repping the Saint who that nation last night? Now who does he cheer
- 7:23for? He's always at the Hawks games, regardless of who they're playing because
- 7:26he lives in Atlanta. But when the Pelicans are in town? Is he
- 7:29he was cheering for the Pelicans. Okay, all right, yeah, but
- 7:31he was he was less animated because he had his Saints colors on gold and
- 7:36black, had his hat on, so you know, which is a shows
- 7:42me that he is at least a great fan. I always tell Atlanta people,
- 7:45you can be fans of a team that and the place that you live.
- 7:50True, So that don't mean you don't get to catch the basketball until
- 7:55your team comes. We are still cheer on the Hawks, but when they
- 7:58play the Lakers, if you're a Laker, and then you can cheer for
- 8:01them and still cheer. So but that was one of the highlights of the
- 8:05game last night. Zion Williamson looks like he's lost about seven pounds. So
- 8:11yeah, we're moving up about two seventy seven. And here you come with
- 8:16Benye that man progress got a chance to check a seven on seven tournament up
- 8:24and comings out this weekend about an hour north of here where we are.
- 8:30And uh, they hustling all of you parents. It's straight hustle. I
- 8:37see what they're doing. They are basically telling you the illusion that everybody can
- 8:46play sports. Now seven on seven? What is that basketball? Seven on
- 8:50seven football? You know where Cam Newton was fighting that one of them kind
- 8:54of tournament, but they're playing in such a unrealistic way because there's nobody rushing
- 9:05the quarterback. They're like basically six DB's garden, six receivers. It's not
- 9:15actually constructive in my view when I'm watching it. It's through building how you
- 9:20could become a football player. It used to be called a sand lot.
- 9:28So it was a very interesting tournament. Good for the kids to get out
- 9:31have fun from that aspect, soerise compresation, you know, running around those
- 9:37kind of safe environment, but the actual what they're doing without any presence of
- 9:45a O line, D line, and even the way they were lined up,
- 9:50you know where there was no running back. It was just six three
- 9:52receivers over here, three receivers over here in a quarterback. Quarterback didn't have
- 9:56to catch the ball from center. He just took the ball off of the
- 10:00chair. When did that happen? Chair? Yeah, the ball was on
- 10:03like a little stool and he just takes it off the stool. And I'm
- 10:09like, well, so he doesn't have to go through the motion of catching
- 10:11the snap and who who moves the chair? No, the chair doesn't move,
- 10:20so I have to play around the chair. Well it's right here,
- 10:22it's right in front of him. So's it's it's it's everything will happen behind
- 10:26the chair. You don't have to worry about running and no rushing the D
- 10:30line, right So yeah, there's no blitzing things like that. So but
- 10:33it got a chance to go up watch the tournament. Little young man I
- 10:37went up to. His team was out of San Antonio. They came up
- 10:39Long Drive to play in this tournament and they actually won. I think it
- 10:46was called d R seven or something like that. The tournament. He'd just
- 10:50be killing all kinds of times for us. Jack. You just that's how
- 10:56you stay out of crime. No, because you know, I don't mind
- 10:58you know what they say about it. So I used to sit around be
- 11:01like, let's go break in the gas station. But you be like,
- 11:05now let's go see the seven or seven tournament an hour away from here.
- 11:09Great experience. But sit back, We've got a great show for you.
- 11:13Tyreek Hill is on the menu. Angel Reese says her status kept her from
- 11:18getting in the fight. Yeah, Kat Williams running forties. Yeah, we
- 11:24got a lot of color. We got a lot of colorful stuff here today,
- 11:28and we will let the bad producer way in on something at some point,
- 11:31but we're trying to minimize the vortex since he has his wonder twin buddy
- 11:35in here. Brown. We have a lot of colored, full stuff.
- 11:39So colorful you got yeah, colorful people. We'll be back with more to
- 11:43the Sports Shock Show right after this. I take your home, baby,
- 11:46and let you keep me company. You give me some of you, I
- 11:48give you some of me. You let's good. Baby, must taste that
- 11:52of bean. I'm pretty sure that you got your own resume. So figuring
- 11:56up, figuring up, Yeah, like you know, I just can't get
- 11:58enough. I gotta drive, don't bow away. More of the Sports Junt

- 15:18in here, come in here, there, come in, come in here
- 15:22here, bouts come in here. Walk back to this what shock show?
- 15:24This what shock wing Candy, Good morning to you. Great women's basketball all
- 15:31weekend long, very intriguing. As I talked about even on the last show,
- 15:35I've been such a thrilling year on the women's side of the college basketball
- 15:41that haven't really paid a lot of attention to the male side. Did catch
- 15:46a little quick glimpse of the Carolina Duke game, but none of it had
- 15:52the same luster. That's some of the women's games. I was able to
- 15:56catch watch ucon beat Marquette, Paige Buker up there doing her thing. Got
- 16:03to see the champ Caitlyn Clark dominant, slow first half and then driving her
- 16:11team to victory, making those Steph Curry shots as I always talk about,
- 16:18whereas just I can launch from anywhere, So iowa winning the Big ten.
- 16:25Yukon setting himself up to play in the finals here today by winning yesterday,
- 16:33so should be a great women's tournament when it does start. Part of the
- 16:38interesting plotline will be the South Carolina Game Cox and the LSU Tigers getting into
- 16:49a little beef yesterday. At the end, six people ejected. South Carolina
- 16:56able to take home of the SEC Championship trophy. Big interest in will Camellia
- 17:06Cardoza, the big center for the game Cocks. Will she be suspended for
- 17:11the first game next week? Most likely she will. At the end of
- 17:15the game shoving match where Flage Johnson doing a breakaway play pulled down a South
- 17:25Carolina player and then that's when the melee started. A couple of gentlemen which
- 17:32I'm quite sure may get charged with entering the court jumped out of the stands
- 17:38onto the floor. In this instance, very few people have mentioned that part.
- 17:45That was probably the most serious part of this incident. Kim Mochi throwing
- 17:52down that she wished Camellia Cardoza would have pushed Angel Reese. I thought that
- 17:59was an interesting quote from her, the head coach of LSU, especially two
- 18:04reasons Camellia Cardoso went and pushed the person who was part of the issue.
- 18:12That's that's who she was supposed to go push. O. J. Johnson.
- 18:15If she was gonna go push somebody, she went to the incident.
- 18:18She didn't just go push somebody and have nothing to do with the play.
- 18:22And then you're saying push Angelic. Angel Reese had decided because of her status,
- 18:27as she said in her press conference, she was not gonna get involved.
- 18:33But then at the press conference she went the wolfing I don't get the
- 18:37whole at the press conference, now you tough, But when it was trying
- 18:44to show that she was tough, you too. You're too famous for that
- 18:51to happen. But the sad part is, if anyone has to miss any
- 18:55time, Camilia Cardosa, the big center, is who launched South Carolina even
- 19:02to the finals yesterday with her big shot in the game the day before,
- 19:08giving them a chance Don Staley and this team to stay undefeated, take home
- 19:14a championship. LSU is zero to four and the last attempts to beat South
- 19:21Carolina in just a game where you had a lot of great players, a
- 19:25lot of next level w NBA picks that got a little tight at the end.
- 19:30Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg Bapp then any of you watched this game.
- 19:34Yes, no, yeah, I watched Okay, what do you talk about
- 19:38the game? I didn't. I didn't watch it until this point. Okay,
- 19:42I didn't see this. I thought. The first thing that I took
- 19:48away from this game is in my watching it. I was probably midway through
- 19:52before I thought there's got to be a guys game on and I went and
- 20:00I was like, there is, and then went back to this game.
- 20:03So to what you were saying about the impact of the women's college game this
- 20:10season, I was not even interested in watching the other game. I'm glad
- 20:18that I missed this part of it so that in retrospect I can go back
- 20:23and see how it unraveled because I caught the postgame trash talking. I caught
- 20:32the talking tough before I heard you say I'm too important to be captured.
- 20:37You know what I'm saying, like I couldn't get involved because of my status,
- 20:41And then later I see you on TV. What I didn't know,
- 20:45Coach Malkey said, I wish she had pushed like is that sportsmanlike conduct?
- 20:51What are we supposed to get from that? And and so I thought this
- 20:55was a poor display. Well she was she was. She was trying to
- 20:59sync it up to where her Camillia Cardos, who's a center, she's like
- 21:02six six. Their big player went and pushed Flaje Johnson, who's a shooting
- 21:07guard. And that's why I said, I get what you's saying, pick
- 21:12on someone your own size, But the person that's my own size was not
- 21:17in the melee, right, was not involved. They were not involved.
- 21:21So you making it sound like we got a little enforcer on the team or
- 21:26something like that, Like I was supposed to go find your biggest player,
- 21:29just pick a fight if they didn't have anything to do to do with this
- 21:33incident. Flaje Johnson was the person who committed the hard file and it kind
- 21:38of went from there. But the gentleman guys that was the table. One
- 21:44of them was Flage's brother, who should be arrested. He was at banned
- 21:48from NCAA Sports. I feel like he should be arrested, banned, and
- 21:52if possible, give him some jail time at the very least, ankle monitor
- 21:57him. At the very least ankle monitor him and find him as much as
- 22:06the law in that state, under whatever governing bodies will allow. What you
- 22:11finna do FJ brother, Why are you out here? What you finna do?
- 22:18Let's state of South Carolina. It's gonna regardless of where it is.
- 22:23It was an n c A A game. Next state was the game held,
- 22:29then it's South Carolina. It was in Greenville, South Carolina. So
- 22:32I'm saying it's an n c A. But let's shout out to the two
- 22:34police officers who did once he came across. There were two police officers who
- 22:40started that were able to stop a couple more than maybe I don't know if
- 22:44that was her family members that were trying to come over the wallet. Now,
- 22:47now we'll come back after the break talking more about this South Carolina LSU
- 22:52little tussle, got some NFL moves with Russell Wilson headed to the Stellers,
- 22:57Mac Jones headed to the Jerry Judy headed to the Browns. We'll talk more
- 23:03about the NFL as well when we come back from Brick Him said, looks
- 23:10see six, don't bowl. Wayne Moore of the Sports John Show with Wayne
- 23:22gandy Us comming up next. Attention, homeowners, Now is the time to

- 27:10just no no just uh Sigma Sigma just he's in your fraternity. Good guys,
- 27:17Incorporation. Okay, that's even just just wonderful human Just I told you
- 27:22the two the two most pure human spirits I know, are in the same
- 27:26room together today. If I if, if I ever get to heaven and
- 27:32y'all get there before me. When they start giving me proud you need to
- 27:36get him to block the bad on Instagram. Man. Look, that's because
- 27:44when Gabriel, when Gabriel researching, see that's gonna mean you. Gabriel researching,
- 27:48He see that he connected the bad. But see that's gonna be part
- 27:51of my angle. Come on, Gabriel, Dotty Brown here and he know
- 27:53the bad produce. Y'all go to sports Johck, y'all get the sports job.
- 28:02Hello on, y'all got to give me ten minutes. GoGet sports jack
- 28:04man, he could tell you. Fly j Johnson of LSU brother jumps on
- 28:08to the court out of the stands. A good friend of Fly Jay's brother
- 28:12looked like he was following him, but never made it. Incident happened in
- 28:17the LSU South Carolina fight yesterday in a game that was kind of marred.
- 28:22Great competition marred by this fight at the end, LSU losing for the fourth
- 28:27time in the road to South Carolina. South Carolina winning the SEC championship with
- 28:33a young team that has a lot of promise for Don Staly, we got
- 28:40famous people like Angel Reese that couldn't be bothered to fight bad producer one of
- 28:45everybody, Him and Donny Brown, his brother in law, decided that it
- 28:51was all on the referees for not calling more foules earlier in the game that
- 28:57would have secured that nobody would have wanted to fight at the end. UH
- 29:03in their imagination of how refereeing goes with players. I mean, you know,
- 29:11actually we forget that y'all are even out there until you insert yourself into
- 29:17the conflict. And what are you? What are you doing over here?
- 29:19Bro? Me and him got a personal thing. Why are you running up
- 29:23here with all the stripes on telling us what we're gonna do, trying to
- 29:29get you some camera? And you just gonna get me fine? Because when
- 29:33I push you out the way, now I'm assaulting a referee because dude fin
- 29:37to catch these hands just talking about whisper and Loretta in my ear. You
- 29:44know he know what that means, and I know what it mean. And
- 29:47this man finna get me fine because I don't pushed him so I could grab
- 29:49this other. But the intense UH encounter between these teams, and possibly they
- 29:55will meet up again. Both teams have enough talent to go deep into the
- 30:00NCAA tournament, so easily could see them facing off. I don't know,
- 30:06you gotta wait ontil the brackets come out. But how people do sports now,
- 30:11I would find that, if it's possible, they would put them on
- 30:15a collision course, just taking advantage, taking advantage of this conflict. Yeah,
- 30:22yeah, And I've got a question. I know that in sports as
- 30:26of late, we've seen a lot of secondary and tertiary characters have impacts or
- 30:33get talked about at the game. The Austin Mahomes t Morantz, Flage's brother,
- 30:40whose name is He's popularly known as Trey Mills, Trey Ron Milton Junior.
- 30:47They call him Trey Mills. He's supposed to be a singer. Do
- 30:49teams have decisions in listening sports? Jock, your brother, your friend Big
- 30:56Kenny can't come to these games no more, Like you can give tickets to
- 31:00anybody but him. He's banned from following the team, He's banned from getting
- 31:04in the facilities. Can you do that? Because this, to me would
- 31:10be the kind of thing where, look, Flage, your brother just can't
- 31:12go nowhere with us no more. It would have to be after an incident
- 31:18like this, right that used to be kind of common where you would ask
- 31:23the player, the coach, the assistant coach, the position coach would kind
- 31:29of ask you to and felt like they had the right to kind of ask
- 31:33you to put a little distance between your family and you. I don't know
- 31:40that in this climate with everybody with some kind of ism or wants you,
- 31:47you know, as a coach now, as a mentor, as a even
- 31:51as an ad they they almost don't want you to add any leadership. Just
- 31:56teach him how to have driven the ball. Don't worry about that, right
- 31:59kind of mind and set now. So but after something like this where he's
- 32:02jumping on the court, I'm quite sure you can step in and be able
- 32:07to say that right without issue. In this situation, I don't know.
- 32:14He was sitting in front row. That's a new that's a new wrinkle.
- 32:17Parents, family members used to be a little further back, a little further
- 32:21back. Now the front row part has become the new things. So you
- 32:24fight girls. I thought he was on the where the scorers table was like
- 32:29he came here, he come apart, he came right over, But he
- 32:32was he was in the front row, just behind the how the how the
- 32:37floor was made. There was just the scoring table and then there was the
- 32:42stands and he I thought he came down a few roads from the picture.
- 32:46I saw he was standing right there. So he fights girls? Is that
- 32:50what we're supposed to take? Who was he coming to fight? The only
- 32:55the mail on the floor was the referee, and then L s U has
- 32:59a male assistant, so there's only all the two males you could have been
- 33:01fighting. So he No, he didn't get down to fight. He wasn't
- 33:07fighting a gender. He was going to fight whoever came at his sister,
- 33:10I imagine, which was all girls in this case, right, and she
- 33:19had some teammates. When your sister come help you fight the gang, she's
- 33:24coming to fight to help you. She's not picking the girl out of the
- 33:29gang group, is she? We got referees. We got referees, And
- 33:35I'm saying this is you know, that's kind of an Apple's origins. I
- 33:37would think that that this organized sport event. Brother commands before we move on,
- 33:43my status kept me from the fight. What do you feel about that?
- 33:45With Angel Reese? Uh, I'm trying to make sense of that with
- 33:52like status of like that she was still in the game because I mean because
- 33:57eventually, because I think her statement was I think it's findsight. I ain't
- 34:01got time. I think that's coming from hindsight. Because the both benches were
- 34:07rejected, they had to finish the game five on five of whoever was in
- 34:14the game and didn't leave the bench. Uh so maybe I think it's coming
- 34:22from that. But as far as her not unless there's some something understood between
- 34:29her and her teammates, I don't understand it. Yeah, she's supposed to
- 34:37stay because your coaches, you're taught to stay on the floor and not go
- 34:40out there if you're not in the game. She wasn't in the game.
- 34:43She was in the game. I thought she was in the game. No
- 34:45she wasn't. She wasn't in the game. She was in the game.
- 34:47She was on the bench. No, she wasn't. She was on the
- 34:52bench when the actual well, well, I don't know. We'll talk about
- 34:57it. I know you go to your conclusions. I do know all of
- 35:00this started doing a play that Angel reason she wasn't was in the game.
- 35:07So I don't know when you she was on the bench, No, she
- 35:09was not on the bench. She was on the floor. When Kurdosa ran
- 35:13up there and the play was happening. She was in the game. She
- 35:16was part of the five that was on the floor for LSU. Yes,
- 35:21okay, we're looking at it right now. Once the play started, they
- 35:24called a file once time time outs and in the jurisdiction of the floor,
- 35:31players supposed to start going to the bench. She started going toward the bench
- 35:36because there was a time out. This was up at half court. I
- 35:37don't know that they got around to a time out. Yeah, they were.
- 35:40They were moving because that's why they were moving, going all the file
- 35:45and then they all started running towards where the foul happened. They were going
- 35:50to the benches at the time. And that's why when flage A checked the
- 35:54little girl, because two of the girls went by from South Carolina. Yeah
- 35:59yeah, yeah, saying something. Did she chuck the next girl? And
- 36:01then that's when the Cordozia girl was going to start with this injuries using the
- 36:07my status. That is why I didn't get involved. We on radio.
- 36:21You can't have dead air. That was the question I asked, what do
- 36:23you think about her using the word status? As I stated before, she
- 36:29I'm saying, you're not supposed she was on the floor. They called the
- 36:31time out. They will be she didn't come back out. His mouth caught
- 36:36in Michael, I'm tired of that. In twenty twenty four, and I
- 36:38asked a question. I like the answer to the question that I'm asking,
- 36:44not what you want to answer. I want to talk about dolphins. I
- 36:52want to talk about dolphins. I don't want to talk about squids. I
- 36:57asked you a question, and you seem to have this ability. Did you
- 37:00gonna decide to do it your way? So? Do you want to be
- 37:02party show? Cause Donny Brown right there, I see he has he got
- 37:07it cleats on, he read, he got his cleats on, We got
- 37:09gay and everything. We canna let him run one play, Let him run,
- 37:14Let him run a couple of snaps because I could have sworn. I
- 37:16asked about the status, the status part. What do you think about that?
- 37:20D said, Well, then you're wrong about being on the bench or
- 37:22on the play. And then you're gonna continue to just we'll be back more
- 37:25the Sports Shock Show right after this, Hey, get your helmet on.
- 37:29You will leave that that wouldn't might have know it that you're gonna telling me
- 37:34is dead friend? Don put that he his dead friend. They get cheated
- 37:37on and on keeping on him for on me? Did you say just trust
- 37:42me? How wim I to know that you want me? John Boy,

- 40:59this work shop wainn Candy, NFL free Agency. Russell Wilson will be a
- 41:05stealer next year, signing a one year deal with the Black and Go Denver.
- 41:12This is expected. Sean Payton Russell Wilson seemed like they just couldn't get
- 41:15on the same page, and rightfully so. When you look at the two
- 41:20personalities, Russell Wilson more of a play action quarterback. Sean Payton's offense is
- 41:27more of a pocket passer, a guy that's gonna make those quick reads.
- 41:32Is there anything left in Russell after so many years? Nine time Pro bowler.
- 41:37Definitely a guy that will end up in the Hall of Fame at some
- 41:40point. But whatever's left the Stellers Mike Tomlin, Uster Smith, Yes,
- 41:45Falcon fan Aftor Smith is the offensive coordinator in Pittsburgh, so running that kind
- 41:52of offense that is the offense the Stellers really like. They like that more
- 41:55of a ball control, eat up some clock, run the ball because they
- 42:00are based a defensive based team. So Russell Wilson fits great in the Wielhouse.
- 42:06As far as his style, now, does he have the talent left
- 42:09in that body? I forget it, don't know. Russell Wilson is not
- 42:13the biggest of quarterbacks, never was. If he was six feet he was
- 42:17just at it and that was twelve thirteen years ago, So he's probably five
- 42:24to eleven today after all those hits. But it will be interesting what he
- 42:30can do up there. A lot of people here in Atlanta I thought maybe
- 42:35this could be a landing spot, one of those top three free agent quarterbacks
- 42:39along with Justin Fields and with our man out of Minnesota, Kirk Cousins still
- 42:50being one of those people that might be available for the Falcons outside of even
- 42:55drafting, because I know a lot of people talking about Kenny Pickett with the
- 42:59Stellers. Well, this puts Kenny Pickett in the situation that Kenny Pickett should
- 43:02have been in from the jump, having a veteran around that he could possibly
- 43:07sit a year and learn from. This is what you need. You need
- 43:14this around your quarterback, your young first round pick. Can't say it enough.
- 43:19How so many people think just because it worked with one guy, so
- 43:23CJ. Stroud, you can't use a CJ. Stroud as the exception and
- 43:30oh that's gonna work for me. No, that's exception. Every year there's
- 43:35gonna be one exception to whatever the rule. The rest of us need to
- 43:37go with a little tootel it. So I think this helps Kenny Pickett.
- 43:40It is only a one year deal costing the Steelers like a million dollars.
- 43:45Everything else is on the Denver Broncos, so hopefully they'll keep Kenny Pickett.
- 43:50He probably does have what you need. He just needs to have someone that
- 43:54has won a Super Bowl, someone who has been deep into the playoffs,
- 43:58someone who can mentor him and he can have a real conversation with that has
- 44:02more advanced knowledge. So on that front, great for the Stealers. Mac
- 44:07Jones moving on down back home to Jacksonville. He was born in Jacksonville,
- 44:13so this puts him down in that area. Another quarterback that don't count him
- 44:17out. This could be the move that actually kind of poss him to being
- 44:22a better quarterback. A lot of pressure trying to go to New England replace
- 44:27Tom Brady fresh out of college. Tom Brady was not the starter at the
- 44:34Patriots when he got there. There was a guy named Drew Bledsoe that was
- 44:38cemented as the starter, got hurt and opened the door for a guy named
- 44:45Tom Brady, who they probably inserted in the game as a joke just to
- 44:52get him some reps because Drew hurt and he took over. That's just kind
- 44:55of really how I had left the asy. They just put him in the
- 45:00game and it turned out to be what it turned out to be. So
- 45:06with the situation with Mac Jones, this might help Mac Jones get there,
- 45:10get with Trevor Lawrence. Even though he's a young quarterback, you can grow,
- 45:14take a year, breathe, and then two years later you you know,
- 45:17you'll see somewhere. It's like, oh, Mac Jones, he's had
- 45:22time to settle down and this could help him. So don't so Trevor.
- 45:28As Trevor Lawrence, I'm just gonna be like, yo, your big brother.
- 45:34It's like the Big Brother's Big Sister program. You're gonna come here and
- 45:37possibly take my job, but I'm gonna just make you better in case you
- 45:42do get my job. No, you didn't come here seeking job at all.
- 45:45Right, you just can't beat my back back up and my support system.
- 45:50That the same year, aren't they? Yeah, the same draft.
- 45:52Yeah, I'm saying because this on New England's part, it seems so j
- 45:59E t s Jets, Jets, Jets to take their first round guy and
- 46:02then just be like, you know, just clearing house for who they're about
- 46:07the draft with that third pick. They have a third pick. Yeah,
- 46:10they're just clearing house. So the bad producer Donny Brown, don't walk in
- 46:15there and have any pressure on who we're about the draft. We keep Mac
- 46:22here and that storyline. So we're all gonna do it. Mac. Well,
- 46:27we moved on. There's nobody here but the third round, the third
- 46:30pick of the draft. This guy, he's whoever we get. This guy
- 46:36is our And for the Jacks, what they get is the ability to go
- 46:38a game or two with the team they have and feel like they're in a
- 46:44better situation. If Trevor Lawrence gets hurt, if you think you have a
- 46:47good team, you need a Mac Jones, someone to keep you game.
- 46:52Look look now, so you just need you to get me to next Thursday.
- 46:59Okay, so you don't see any of this, is I not and
- 47:05no, no, no, no, no no. Was he Trevor last
- 47:07year doing the right to playoff? He got hurt there and they didn't know
- 47:12for sure if he was gonna make it, so that he played doing injury.
- 47:15So it is actually a great pick up. And you got somebody like
- 47:17Max Jones, with Trevor being a running, throwing running, he doesn't mind
- 47:22taking the chance running, So it actually and I got in for a sixth
- 47:23round pick. That's all the Patriots got. And then that's a good coach.
- 47:29That's a great coach down there. He's going under. So yeah,
- 47:31I got in for a sixth round pick. So that makes it even better
- 47:36for Max Jones. Jerry Judy from the Broncos. The Broncos are clearing house
- 47:40of any of that old regime. Jerry Judy their first round pick a couple
- 47:44of years ago. Receiver that a lot of people thought were going to take
- 47:47over, had a good start and then kind of fizzled out these last couple
- 47:52of years. Was it Russell Wilson? I don't know, But Jerry Judy
- 47:57finds himself in Cleveland now he's with Seawan Watson, Mark Cooper on paper about
- 48:06what is the tiny name Joku the joke On paper it looks like a formidable
- 48:14offense when you tell Mark Cooper, Jerry Judy and the joke the running backs,
- 48:22he'll be back, Yeah, Nick Chub, they still have the who
- 48:25was the backup? Uh? I don't think Kareem hunt is. I think
- 48:30he's a free agent. But oh okay, well, well he might be
- 48:32back too. So on paper they have a lot of weapons and uh in
- 48:37Cleveland. Now we'll be back more to Sports Shock Show right after this,
- 48:49back that stuff. John Boy, Wayne Born of The Sports John Show with

- 50:59corps on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah blah. Yeah, yeah,
- 51:32what about this more shock show, this more shock winging gandy. NBA season
- 51:37winding down, got teams closing around about twenty games left. Looking at about
- 51:44a month from now, the regular season will be over, start the little
- 51:49play in and then get around to the real action. A lot of team's
- 51:53success will be about injuries, as it always is most times. When you
- 52:00look at who will be playing for the championship, it is the top five
- 52:05or six teams at the beginning of the season who are the healthiest. That's
- 52:09kind of how sports work. If you can and you don't have to be
- 52:14healthy at the beginning, but you do have to be healthy at the end
- 52:17or at least discovered another star on along the way. So and some teams
- 52:22you just have that fear like the Clippers. Clippers just have that many guys
- 52:27and those numbers that they can put up when they say a hard out.
- 52:32Some teams just seems like but in a seven game series, can you beat
- 52:37them? I know you can beat them tonight, but can you beat them
- 52:38in a seven game series. But one of the big things over the weekend
- 52:44losing to Cleveland was the Templewolves. On Friday night, their center after being
- 52:50thrown out on his sixth file he was disqualified. Rudy Gobert stayed on the
- 52:57floor made a gesture towards one of the referees the score is table, the
- 53:04money signed. The money gesture. He got a technical foul for it.
- 53:08And that's when the world win of Vegas and those kind of mindsets for the
- 53:15conspiracy theorists started playing a part. One hundred thousand dollars fine in the NBA
- 53:23has brought down on Rudy Gobar for some reason. When I saw this in
- 53:29one hundred thousand dollars, I'm thinking this is Rudy's second time making this gesture.
- 53:38I just feel him in my spirit. He did this once before.
- 53:43Okay, Now, Rudy and that first fifty on just jumped to one hundred.
- 53:47I keep getting this sense he did that once before at some point,
- 53:53and now he's one hundred thousand dollars weaker in his pocket for thinking or suggesting
- 54:02referees. And I think a lot of this is not just Donny Brown,
- 54:06our man our guests in the studio today, was talking about how public perception
- 54:12with the league's period in all their investment into gambling, the gambling sites they
- 54:19have, the NBA Gambling Network, can they tell you during the game,
- 54:23the public speaking announcer each and every commercial break, tell you how you can
- 54:29go to Hera's basically everything else. But one key point too, especially for
- 54:35the NBA, was a couple of years ago when the referee went to jail
- 54:42and Tim Dunney I just looked it up. Remember remember he went to jail.
- 54:46He joined the Aryan nation because he said he was scared and we've all
- 54:51done it, We've all gone to jail and then got nervous and became an
- 54:54aria Am I right, am? I right? No, never been to
- 54:59jail and a nation never been in part of the Aaron. He wouldn't joined
- 55:04the and it'd be the Black Grillas. Remember that was his story, joint
- 55:10the gang because he didn't joint. He didn't joint like the middle god on
- 55:15Land. He said he washed. He didn't want to join the middle level
- 55:19gang. He went straight to the top to I'm not gonna be three two
- 55:22fours, if I remember he was saying. He said he he couldn't get
- 55:27in the other couple of games. The Mexican guys like, we're full.
- 55:35So he went with the Air Nation, but he got out. He wanted
- 55:37people to know that he was not He went lower in the draft. He
- 55:44was third round are in Nation. He didn't want to be andy. They
- 55:49traded him. So. But I think a lot of people since then have
- 55:52been watching, especially the n b A and the referees with that third eye.
- 55:58Yeah, and you don't really get a sense of the consistency of refereeing.
- 56:05In the NBA. They do seem to have two levels. They have
- 56:08the Star level call, where the same play, if it's Steph Curry,
- 56:15he gets the call. But if Jamal Murray running the play, or DeAndre
- 56:24Murray or whoever else murdered it, nobody knows. In that big way,
- 56:29no call, it's not a call. And that's the kind of inconsistency you
- 56:32see a lot and so and then the times of calls like you know,
- 56:37and they feel like you punk point shaving or and he basically gave weight that
- 56:45he was kind of trying to point shaving. And so what I want to
- 56:49ask is you want to take a Rudy Gobert and make his pockets lighter by
- 56:53one hundred thousand dollars. But the reality is, we do know refs that
- 56:59have shaved points. We do no refs that have taken money. We do
- 57:02no players that have shaved points and taken money. Why aren't we bringing up
- 57:08and I know I know that about what about three seasons all? And I'm
- 57:15still talking about it. But why aren't we expanding our net to maybe eliminate
- 57:20some of that? Why you trying to find me one hundred thousand dollars for
- 57:23saying this dude's getting paid. You're also telling me to gambo responsible. Well,
- 57:28this thing's been going on for getting a lot. Like Luca last year,
- 57:32he was fined against the Warriors in the end of the year about this
- 57:37and then we had trade. He just got hit for thirty five thousand.
- 57:40It wasn't, but only for thirty five thousand for tre Trey Young from the
- 57:45a lot of Hawks. But the interesting thing is Scott Foster, the referee,
- 57:50is the one who that Rudy. He's been in a lot of the
- 57:52last couple of years. He's his name has came up in a lot of
- 57:55different things, and a lot of the players have issues with him. Well,
- 58:01all I'm saying is the NBA find Rudy Gobert almost in an effort to
- 58:07say that's slanderous. You can't say those things. You can't shed that light
- 58:14on the NBA referee staff because they're above that is what they seem to be
- 58:20suggesting. And I'm saying, but remember boy, and that makes me think,
- 58:25like trade just got here for thirty five thousand a couple of weeks ago.
- 58:29But then Rudy Gobert gets hit for one hundred. So apparently he may
- 58:31have did this prior and and and now I think this is his second offense.
- 58:36That it was something like that. And if you want to get either
- 58:38either he did the gesture or he said something similar. He alluded to it
- 58:45in some suple of times during the game. Okay, So so why not
- 58:50just stop him? But I think he he's been fined before, and I'm
- 58:53saying I think he made reference or quote something before something before, and that's
- 59:00why it was one hundred thousand dollars. So do right back. What is
- 59:02sports Jock Show? Right after it is don't bowl awayne bore of the Sports

- 1:01:15remember when we go off the show. COMANCHI creg will be uploading the
- 1:01:19Apple podcast, Amazon podcast, Spotify, all the Old Deezer iHeartRadio are all
- 1:01:25the places you can hear the replay of the show. Big Kenny Bad producer,
- 1:01:32A good buddy friend of the show, Donny Brown in the building as
- 1:01:37well. Vicksburg, Mississippi, Yes, fines, yes, finest, the
- 1:01:43finest side of Vicksburg. Ain't but two pure people in the world I know
- 1:01:47and name the same and commands. You Greg who said he took this weekend
- 1:01:52off from the gave all the girls a break. Remember he was bragging about
- 1:01:57that. You asked him, I was weekend, I needed rest. Yeah,
- 1:02:02So he had a quiet weekend. Bad producer feeling good Duke lost to
- 1:02:08Carolina that I do feel like that series is losing its luster because of not
- 1:02:20the animosity of the schools, but it used to draw in because it used
- 1:02:23to have more names to it that drew the people that were not fans of
- 1:02:29it. So it had it used to have both components, the guys who
- 1:02:32were going to be watching on Sundays at the top nine players in the trial
- 1:02:37playing in it, and and a lot of these guys will still be drafted.
- 1:02:40They're just a more unknown. Does that make sense. It's not like
- 1:02:45these guys won't be first a lot of repicts. It's a couple of them,
- 1:02:47a lot of repicts. It's just used to they used to be household
- 1:02:51names. The biggest game that you was going to see, not just in
- 1:02:55rivalry, but in names used to be these two. You would seeing a
- 1:03:00lot of more, a lot more one and done outside of these two schools.
- 1:03:05But now that it's happened within these two programs, you're not getting to
- 1:03:10not really getting to know the players as much. Correct. You just see
- 1:03:14him in the draft like, oh man, you know that was the twelfth
- 1:03:15pick. He be in North Carolina. Really I missed him, like you
- 1:03:17almost missed him there. It's like you're saying that one and it's like you
- 1:03:22said, it's still strong with as far as like within and you know to
- 1:03:27know what's going on. But the uh, I know, Duke got some
- 1:03:30great players coming in. You've had to change. Coach has changed recently,
- 1:03:34you know, from coach k and coach Williams so now coach Shyron, coach
- 1:03:37Davis. Trying to establish themselves within the eight miles uh had uh. But
- 1:03:43there was some little you know Rutgers before the game. The Duke fans were
- 1:03:47going at the R. J. Davis before the game and there's the footage
- 1:03:51of that. And then then after the games a lot of people took in
- 1:03:52fence because the Carolina players was felt like they were taunting the Duchies, but
- 1:03:57they had been taught them the whole game. So the frustration they were like,
- 1:04:00hey, we beat you, we got out of here. It's like
- 1:04:02on a four game winning streak against Duke. So hopefully it could get built
- 1:04:06back up with the new recruiters coming in, and hopefully some of these players
- 1:04:11will stick around like r. J. Davis and Baycotton and Cormack Ryan.
- 1:04:16The first thing might happen, the second thing is not gonna happen. What's
- 1:04:19that sticking around? Guys ain't even going to campus with no clues. I'm
- 1:04:27driving down. I think I believe I'm gonna live at home and shoot ball
- 1:04:30at school and then come back home and wait on the draft. That's pretty
- 1:04:35much ass going. If you're leaving in nine months, you don't even have
- 1:04:39to go to class by the time the academic department send me a letter to
- 1:04:44say, hey, I be okay. See it's with SHAKEE Gilchris. But
- 1:04:48what's the guy seems like it's got to bail my bail to Oklahoma. It
- 1:04:53seemed like an outlier with guys like r. J. Davis or Baycott.
- 1:04:56They stayed for four years and feel like they've been there for eight. Yeah,
- 1:05:00but you're going to see it, but at Duke and you're not seeing
- 1:05:03like those guys stayed longer. Like I said, for those for that rivalry
- 1:05:09for people to get to know those players. And Duke was though the last
- 1:05:14one of the last programs with the one and done. Yeah, Mike,
- 1:05:19because Mike Kiski used to make he wasn't even recruiting those guys that were wont
- 1:05:25and donners. He remember that being a thing of his. He wants to
- 1:05:29trying to yeh, he don't want to messing up his graduation. Right rate
- 1:05:33Survivor Brenda Tracy, this is the young lady that was part of that Michigan
- 1:05:39State Mel Tucker situation we had a couple of months ago. She has filed,
- 1:05:47uh, you know, as we've imagined, a lawsuit against Mail Tucker
- 1:05:55for seventy five million and damages and the things. I brought this story up
- 1:06:00because I've this is one of those stories where she's also suing Michigan State.
- 1:06:08And I'm always kind of trying to figure out how the school gets dragged into
- 1:06:17this, Like what do you prove that the school did other than hire him,
- 1:06:26other than hire him to be on the hook for because a lot of
- 1:06:31these cases, you always see them, they sue the coach or the whoever,
- 1:06:34the faculty and the school and it becomes but what did you know and
- 1:06:40mym always like, well, if you set the school a letter that Mail
- 1:06:43was doing this to you and they ignored it, then yes, But if
- 1:06:47you never let us know that Mail was doing whatever you're accusing him of,
- 1:06:51how do I how am I on the hook for that? Well, according
- 1:06:58to he said, because he was an employee of Michigan State, he had
- 1:07:03a duty to conduct himself appropriately during the normal course and scope of his employment,
- 1:07:10and his behavior exposed Michigan State to liability. And see, no,
- 1:07:17no, no, I get the technical part of that commande I'm saying when
- 1:07:23you break it down so base, all Michigan State did was hire and give
- 1:07:28this person a job. And from that point on, they're on the hook
- 1:07:33for everything that he does, even if they're not aware of it. And
- 1:07:38that's a deep hole, right, And the problem I have with that,
- 1:07:43that's like a parent going to jail for their child doing something and the parents
- 1:07:47not aware of it. And listen the problem I just come putting the cuffs
- 1:07:50on me. I didn't even know he skipped school today, sir, Right,
- 1:07:56And I took him to school and dropped him off. No, I
- 1:07:58took him to the school and I dropped him off. We gotta take this.
- 1:08:01And the problem I have with that right, and the problem I have
- 1:08:04with it primarily is that I could be mad with you as your child.
- 1:08:10You could drop me off and just to get you locked up, I walked
- 1:08:14back home. You see what I'm saying, ma'am. And this lady could
- 1:08:17have been this lady's that could have been her thing from the beginning. I'm
- 1:08:21going to entice him and not saying that she did. But there are people
- 1:08:26who will collude just to jam you up. If it's that easy to get
- 1:08:30you jammed up. I don't understand how I should be responsible for your personal
- 1:08:35conduct just because you panned out on a resume and in an interview process,
- 1:08:42everything that we required you to do with this job you did correctly. We
- 1:08:46didn't get into your personal romantic life. Well, now, just because you
- 1:08:50did something I gotta pay for. Well, this is the second time Michigan
- 1:08:53States falling on this. Larry Nasser. His victims are suing Michigan State just
- 1:08:58because he was an employee and what he was doing. So you're running in
- 1:09:01they're running. Michigan State is running into this in this situation, and it's
- 1:09:05not just Michigan State I'm talking about as a country, we're running into you
- 1:09:10being responsible for what I did when you are not a robot controller, you
- 1:09:15not inside my mind. Well, I'm just saying, as far as we
- 1:09:18say, where's the school, where's the school involved in this? And once
- 1:09:21again here's a situation where the school is being sued along with the correct And
- 1:09:29all I'm saying is to me, that's akin to profiling. Uh see Michigan
- 1:09:35State again. Well, so one person wasn't right, and then out of
- 1:09:41the thousands of faculty members we've hired, two people didn't pan out. I
- 1:09:45think that I'm on the hook for whatever. If I'm a college, as
- 1:09:49I said, when you have informed me, yes, so you call me,
- 1:09:55you come down you you know, and you let me know that mel
- 1:10:00Tucker is doing this to me. Yes, and then I don't take the
- 1:10:04proper action. Right then I'm on the hook. Right. You just coming
- 1:10:10out of the blue to tell me Coach Tucker did X, Y and Z
- 1:10:14over the last four months. Yeah, last night, Big Kenny hit four
- 1:10:16cars and got a DUI. Man, it's gonna cost you sports job,
- 1:10:21that's gonna cost me. Yeah, he was he worked for you. Well,
- 1:10:26no, I think that's so misguided and and and people. That goes
- 1:10:30to what it goes back to when when you know someone, let's say,
- 1:10:35for example, you do something that like you said, they ain't got nothing
- 1:10:39to do with the sports job. But because you work for the sports job
- 1:10:42and you work on the show, they've got people who coming after him for
- 1:10:45no reason, and they do that and the team they do that. That's
- 1:10:47what I'm saying. It's being done a lot. Wait, and my point
- 1:10:51is we should stop that thing. Why are we allowing people to get money
- 1:10:59from from Coca Cola because one of their executives said something racist to me or
- 1:11:05or pushed me down. Well, you know that's the new thing. Oh
- 1:11:10if they say think they say something, Oh buddy, your job is we're
- 1:11:14gonna send all this to your job. They need to fire the next thing.
- 1:11:16You know, the job is firing that person because they don't want that
- 1:11:20problem. You can't put Patrick Mahons in jail for what Jack's mahone does.
- 1:11:25Thank you. That's all I'm saying. Can't go to the trouble because of
- 1:11:34her brother then too, That's what I'm saying. Nobody nobody ever said she
- 1:11:38should. She should, but I'm saying it's the same scenario, Jackson,
- 1:11:42Like, like you said, you can't old, but nobody mentioned that.
- 1:11:47But I do believe I disagreeing with what you were saying, but I do
- 1:11:50believe the job ought to say, Hey, they can't have lunch here no
- 1:11:55more and we'll be pat more than sports Shock showed her after this mistay still
- 1:12:04less get your body's direction, that's not the boss, don't bow away,
- 1:12:17or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Ganteias comming up next. Have you
- 1:12:24noticed bad behavior has become normalized at interscholastic athletic events. Some fan seem angry,
- 1:12:30they lacks civility toward one another. Some even get aggressive and unruly.
- 1:12:36Time out. What is going on? This has to stop. Let's not
- 1:12:43forget school sports aren't just about winning, and they're definitely not an excuse to
- 1:12:46take your frustrations out on the official or the opponent. They're about teaching lessons
- 1:12:53like perseverance, respect, and empathy so students can learn and grow as people,
- 1:12:58not just as players. We all have a role to play in setting
- 1:13:01a good example for our students and teaching them these important values. So fans,

- 1:19:34him, and he let done. She don't make all that money, been
- 1:19:41in like nine Iron Man Marvel movies and he never The only thing he do
- 1:19:46now is show up his war machine and go all right, guys. And
- 1:19:53that's fourteen million dollars all right, guys for his most prominent line stand down.
- 1:20:00So if you watch the first Iron Man, that was Terrence Howard,
- 1:20:04and that was what he said. He's fifty five years old, he was.
- 1:20:06His old explanation was he didn't want to get type cast into that character
- 1:20:12and cut off his range because best man holidays really yeah, and hauled out
- 1:20:18here for a pimp and ad Anthony Davis who last night riding along with the
- 1:20:25King beating Minnesota, Anthony Davis thirty one years of age. Donny Brown was
- 1:20:30saying during the break that he's a King fan. Yeah, Lebron James,
- 1:20:34who just marvels me as an absolute for him to still be giving you the
- 1:20:42same numbers. If you know me as a lover of sports, consistency and
- 1:20:48availability are probably my two big biggest keys. Yes, I don't need the
- 1:20:57greatest player, but I can only get him every other month. How does
- 1:21:00that help me? But for a man to be twenty one years deep and
- 1:21:05still giving you the same twenty eight, eight and eight, it's just it's
- 1:21:13just it's just something to watch. No lag. I mean he literally could
- 1:21:17walk away after the season and have a whole career where he never had a
- 1:21:21lag. Right, And very few people can say that, yeah and such
- 1:21:29in a sport like basketball, usually they yeah, the average career, they
- 1:21:33might have a slow start and blaze at the end, or they blaze at
- 1:21:39the beginning and have a slow ending. But you can't pick a year.
- 1:21:44And you have those guys that played fifteen years and only average like seven points
- 1:21:47in the fifteen years that they played. When we were talking about retirement,
- 1:21:50one of our listeners, Phil Cook, said sixty seven for you guys,
- 1:21:55and he said that you can draw it sixty two, but you'll get far
- 1:21:59less than you would if you waited. And he said, he's waiting on
- 1:22:01his first retirement check, so he's he's waiting till sixty seven. He's waiting
- 1:22:05on his first retirement check this week. So I guess he waited till sixty
- 1:22:10seven. Right. He took him gamble waiting waiting, And then you got
- 1:22:15to do the math. Will will you make up? How long? How
- 1:22:16long after that will you make up? Because you got to you have to
- 1:22:20live a longer period of time after sixty seven to make up for the five
- 1:22:26years that you missed. Yeah, so it worked if your sixty If you
- 1:22:29wait to sixty seven and you only live to seventy five, then you didn't
- 1:22:32make up the difference if you took the money at sixty two to seventy five.
- 1:22:36Right See, And like I said, I'm just trying to get sixty
- 1:22:40two. Cut all that math right there. I know what I'm saying.
- 1:22:43People, you do have to look at it that way. I know,
- 1:22:45I know that's what I'm saying. That you might be making more getting more
- 1:22:49after sixty seven, but if you don't live long enough, you would have
- 1:22:53still gotten the same amount of money. See. Doing all that math worry
- 1:22:56you to death when you get that on me back more than sports duck.
- 1:22:59Sure, and we're both enough to know right wrong to that is done?

- 1:26:01morning till you command your Greg, Bad Producer, Big Kenny and the building
- 1:26:05along with our great friend Donny Brown, who's in town. Uh for the

- 1:26:27be down there d jaying and uh the bad produc will be in his regular
- 1:26:30spot. Then you know it over in the corner creeping the girls, Yes,
- 1:26:34standing behind, standing behind somebody just throwing money being right at Magic City,
- 1:26:43and they all know him by his club named Creepy Guy. One of
- 1:26:47our listeners, Willie Pallmore, who's going by his government name now. When
- 1:26:55I knew him, his name was Willie Bao. He was one of my
- 1:27:00great friends in high school. He was like a Draymond Green on the basketball
- 1:27:05court, and you know, he wanted them dudes that would knock you down
- 1:27:11and go line back and running back. But he was saying with the little
- 1:27:16at least in And that's one of the questions I asked one of the parents
- 1:27:21yesterday, the father when I went out to the tournament on Saturday, which
- 1:27:28state rules are you under? Because that is a big thing with seven on
- 1:27:31seven, and well, you know in high school period, some places have
- 1:27:36just a little one or two things that might be different. They were playing
- 1:27:41by Georgia rules. But in Florida, I'm Willie Bell Willie Pelmore, I
- 1:27:45think still lives in Florida. You have four seconds to throw the ball.
- 1:27:50I remember I was saying seven on seven. They just kind of line up.
- 1:27:55They have four seconds to throw the ball. So four seconds is always
- 1:28:00been the internal clock of the quarterback of what how much time he would have
- 1:28:06on an average By the old line blocking, you kind of have like this
- 1:28:13four minute clock. Now it's terrible to have a four second clock. If
- 1:28:17you're an old lineman, forget about the clock. I'm saying with seconds,
- 1:28:21we are we on one thousand, How do we get to our front?
- 1:28:26Because what you do early on you'll be blocking, and you in your head,
- 1:28:30you're like, Okay, he did a move. I stopped it.
- 1:28:32He did a move, I stopped it. Why is he still rushing?
- 1:28:35The ball should be gone. And you you might even turn around when you're
- 1:28:39young, like you still got the ball. I've counted to six thousand,
- 1:28:45you still got the ball. So that's what I'm saying. If you're an
- 1:28:47offensive lineman, uh, don't have no internal clock. Just block. Until
- 1:28:57this summer. I know we had the here in Atlanta. I don't know
- 1:29:01if they're playing in Atlanta, but over Time has a seven on seven league,
- 1:29:06just like they have with basketball. Okay, having football. I think
- 1:29:10they're gonna be playing either this spring or this summer. Now not on TV.
- 1:29:14Well, seven on seven has been growing and growing with the whole idea.
- 1:29:17It's really flag football. When you think about it. If you ever
- 1:29:24played flag football, you were playing seven on seven. Yeah, it's basically
- 1:29:29saying there's no pass, there's no hellman's. It's kind of same rule.
- 1:29:33Someplace you go seven on seven, they do have a flag. Some of
- 1:29:36them go by the honor system of touching, but it's kind of in that
- 1:29:42sensibility short side of the field. You don't drive the whole hundred yards in
- 1:29:46a flag football game. That's not how it works either. But it's a
- 1:29:49growing trend and they're capitalizing because, especially in the young ages, before people's
- 1:29:58bodies develop, everybody thinks they're a receiver. Because you couldn't have told me
- 1:30:03at nine ten, I wasn't gonna be Tony door set. Right. Well,
- 1:30:11then that growth thing happened, you know that, a thing they call
- 1:30:14puberty kick in, and now I'm twice the size is Tony door set.
- 1:30:19So don't really work like that to be twice as good. You're better get
- 1:30:26your big behind up there with your hands around the end up being. But
- 1:30:30when you're nine, we all fast, and we all think we're gonna be
- 1:30:33the star position and stuff like that, and you have to go with you.
- 1:30:36How your body has made Football is still That's why I say it is
- 1:30:40something that you can wait a little later. Other school, other sports like
- 1:30:44ten is golf, technical sports, even basketball, you can kind of develop
- 1:30:49them, not worrying about the body. But you can spend six, seven,
- 1:30:56eight, nine years right there, that ten years playing one position that
- 1:31:00when you turn thirteen is no longer an option. Your position, but it
- 1:31:06was in the second grade. But in the a no, I'm a cornerback.
- 1:31:12Now if you don't get too big right over now getting that three technique
- 1:31:15over that center and hold up that gap even sitting there in all these years
- 1:31:19you've been training back pelling And that's really how it works. Some of this
- 1:31:24has to be driven by the perception that is set up by these people who
- 1:31:27run these programs like an overtiming lead. Now, it's hard for me to
- 1:31:30understand that because they have a full standing, self supporting building. It's not
- 1:31:41a school, it's just a build. Do they charge people to get in
- 1:31:45to watch these sports? It seems like a one for profit driven Well,
- 1:31:50they have those games, I think, right, they charged it. Come
- 1:31:54in for their games when they have the But remember they're just getting in early,
- 1:31:59and they've gotten in early on the idea especially for the NBA that each
- 1:32:04year that passes, fewer and fewer guys are going to want to go to
- 1:32:10college. Right, they can just come here. And you know, at
- 1:32:15football, I don't know that it's ever going to remove the three year anchor.
- 1:32:23And if they do it, they probably move down the two. But
- 1:32:26it's not going to be you can go from high well, physically, you
- 1:32:29can't. It's just not I mean I know a lot of y'all believe that,
- 1:32:33but you can't take that high school body and then let pro people.
- 1:32:41Have you seen these pro guys? I mean, it's just not something you
- 1:32:45could do. It's a different hit. Trust me. You heard that about
- 1:32:47like two people and it's like, okay, maybe it just looked that way,
- 1:32:51like some of the people said, like, oh, Derrick Henry could
- 1:32:54have went to the NFL straight out of high school. Yeah, he's six
- 1:33:00three, two thirty. But it's a it's different. The mental. The
- 1:33:04mental part is what you're saying, is part of like once it changed because
- 1:33:08speed and difference once you go each level. They say, no, not
- 1:33:11just not just the mental, I'm talking about the physical. Well, when
- 1:33:15you the physical part can play on the mental, Like man, they hit
- 1:33:19me a little different, and then that start does that start playing in your
- 1:33:23mind like I can't do this physically because mentally, man, I can't take
- 1:33:27these licks. Well, I'm just open. Open. In high school,
- 1:33:30you're ten yards behind the guy. Open. In pros, the guy is
- 1:33:36standing right next to you. If you're a receiver, a pro receiver has
- 1:33:43to learn to catch the ball with a guy standing next to him. Right,
- 1:33:45that little Tyreek hill, the only person is running in space right.
- 1:33:50Everybody else is catching the ball in track, the quarterbacks threading the needle.
- 1:33:56Right, it's he's using that touch. Yeah, Logan Paul makes a deal
- 1:34:00with w w E. He is taking that drink we talk, not the
- 1:34:04one you drink where you drink the death liquid Death Liquid Death. But Logan
- 1:34:10Paul had the one that was banned in Canada. Remember he had Prime Prime.
- 1:34:14He had too much caffeine in it or something. Yes, that's what
- 1:34:15they were calling. We the w w E assigned Paul to premiere his prime
- 1:34:23sports drink. He's going to even I think during WrestleMania they're going to put
- 1:34:27him on the ring somewhere that Prime drink. So I guess he cut back
- 1:34:30on the caffeine. It was never banned in America. It's just Canada because
- 1:34:36because other countries care here here here and here in the United States, we
- 1:34:45profit is king and responsibility. I mean I has unified healthcare. Yeah,
- 1:34:51so we don't want to pay for it. That's what if you want to
- 1:34:55stress your insurance company out with the thirty times the caffeine that a human should
- 1:35:00go right ahead, and Logan Paul's brother, Jake, correct Jake and Logan
- 1:35:05brothers. Yes, Jake Paul is the one set to fight Mike Tyson on
- 1:35:09Netflix, because that makes you lie the fifty seven year old Mike Tyson.
- 1:35:14Uh. And Jake Paul, who's what like thirty? I think he's like
- 1:35:18twenty six. He's the younger of the two brothers. Yeah, okay,
- 1:35:24so Mike Tyson's son. Be sure Mike has a son that's twenty seven somewhere
- 1:35:31one of the teams, You know what I'm saying, Mike, Mike,
- 1:35:33Mike probably. I'm sure he's sure that he got a son that ain't somewhere.
- 1:35:39Come on, man, it's fighting Mike Tyson. What do you guys
- 1:35:42feel about that? I think it's a farce. Everybody which greatly diminishes for
- 1:35:53me the effect of anything. Everybody goes, well, they'll make so much
- 1:35:57money. But Mike Tyson is the perennial boxing king. He is what we
- 1:36:04know to be the apex predator in boxing. I've never known a more fierce,
- 1:36:10more formidable opponent than Iron Mike Tyson. And for him to even sully
- 1:36:16his legacy by stepping across the ring from an internet influencer, I think does
- 1:36:24disservice to boxing and the sport as a whole under the heading of boxing boxing.
- 1:36:30Yes, it was like the Rock does goes back and forth to w
- 1:36:35W as an attraction to actually call myself and say this boxing over. I'm
- 1:36:43over Mike snapping a moment and realize that, oh this is something serious,
- 1:36:47and just take him out and they'll stop all this playing around with boxing.
- 1:36:53And I think m Kenny is saying win or lose. He's still I'm saying,
- 1:36:58I'm hoping what I'm saying. If Mike has a Mike Tyson flashback,
- 1:37:02that's I don't have a flash back, that's what I want. And he
- 1:37:04fractures half of his face, then Mike, you shouldn't have been in there
- 1:37:09with that boy. In the first place. No, and if Mike get
- 1:37:11knocked out, then Mike, you had no business being in there with that.
- 1:37:14Boys, I was just about to say, as we go to break
- 1:37:15you running to my door knocking on it to tell me, Mike Tyson knocked
- 1:37:20somebody out. I want to know why you ran over here to tell me?
- 1:37:25What are you waking me up for? Because at any age, Mike
- 1:37:30Iron Mike, the combination is still in it. The one two, that
- 1:37:33one two to the side where he hits you in the rib and then catching
- 1:37:35it. He's still Yeah, it hurts just talking about it. I gotta
- 1:37:41tell people. Don't go challenge Reggie Miller to a shoot off. Now.
- 1:37:45He hasn't forgotten how to shoot the basketball. Now, he just can't get
- 1:37:48back down. Chappo know how to eyeball it. Just because he just because
- 1:37:54he's bringing in by the boatload, don't mean he can't look at it and
- 1:37:57go, No, that's about a gram or too short. Play boy Jake,

- 1:41:14I'll sing even Jany Welcome back to the show. And this one shocking came
- 1:41:19to Good morning to you, uh, Cam Newton more ego to you,
- 1:41:25Cam, And this is what I was saying a couple of years ago.
- 1:41:29Geno Smith did it first where he humbled himself to kind of adjust to the
- 1:41:41team, played the backup role whatever the team needed. And then we saw
- 1:41:45Geno parlay that to money as though he had never fallen off. He think
- 1:41:51about it. He parlayed it to money like he We saw him fall for
- 1:41:57grace, But did you did I because he went right back up to the
- 1:42:00twenty five twenty six million dollar a year like he had never fallen off and
- 1:42:04was a backup for the last five six years prior to that. The same
- 1:42:10has happened with Baker Mayfield, former first pick of the draft. Basically,
- 1:42:16you could have thrown that last little cup of dirt on Baker and thought it
- 1:42:21was over. As far as making huge dollars, you thought it was just
- 1:42:27gonna be and you need no big old thirty two hours cup of dirt.
- 1:42:30You could have just did one of a little sample cups. But now Baker
- 1:42:32has gone to the bucks. He put down some of that bravado where he
- 1:42:41seemed to deal with the organization and the team as though, no, you're
- 1:42:45gonna do Baker shaking bike, We're gonna shake it bike. You're gonna do
- 1:42:49Baker, or you ain't gonna do it, and that kind of how his
- 1:42:54mistake was, like if you ain't baking, why is you out here taking
- 1:42:59And he got home, went to Carolina, did some backup work somewhere else,
- 1:43:02didn't he played the rams, went in there and got a little and
- 1:43:08now you see him, uh, and he seems to be back to the
- 1:43:12sir, yes, sir, tell you mammy. Then I said, hey,
- 1:43:15he said, you want me to just do this, Yes, just
- 1:43:17do that bake, don't do that other thing. But what about the shaking
- 1:43:20the bait. Now one hundred million fifty of that is guaranteed down at Tampa,
- 1:43:27no state tax, So that's another nine percent in his pocket. So
- 1:43:31let's salute you, Baker for that on a year that was out standing for
- 1:43:39the Bucks. They got Mike Evans back into the fold. And I said
- 1:43:42that with Cam because Cam has been I think Cam could have been right back
- 1:43:46to this. I think if he had taken advantage kind of just humbled themselves
- 1:43:51to fit the organization and not try to make the organization fit him, he
- 1:43:58could have rolls again instead of being out here fighting people at a seven on
- 1:44:02seventh camp or telling them how he gonna do it. And now I'm too
- 1:44:08good to be a bad And that's how I was going to say. It
- 1:44:11seems like. And the only problem that I struggle with when Cam starts comparing
- 1:44:16himself to other quarterbacks is you are still in a capacity of being able to
- 1:44:24show and prove. It's not like you're talking about an era when they move
- 1:44:29the point line or they wouldn't let us get under the center, let us
- 1:44:34scram whatever. You can still get on the field and add numbers to your
- 1:44:42stats. You can still get on the field and further your legacy. But
- 1:44:46you would prefer to just sit in a chair and tell us how much better
- 1:44:49you are than these other quarterbacks. Last year, he said before the season,
- 1:44:55there was a he had a list of quarterbacks that he was willing to
- 1:45:00back up. Do you think it was like too late for that to have
- 1:45:04that kind of like you're talking about humbling himself. If if that's an example
- 1:45:10of that, do you think it was like, Okay, that's nice.
- 1:45:13That that's not that's not humbling yourself. It's not okay, Yeah, you're
- 1:45:17sending me a list of who you saying you it was like fifteen guys.
- 1:45:24Hey sports, that's a version of the same cam. I know, Hey
- 1:45:29sports, shock, I'm gonna send you a list of comedians. I'm willing
- 1:45:31to open up for this. Richard Prime, put Bernie on the list,
- 1:45:39maybe George Carlin on No, I was looking for you to do. Fifteen
- 1:45:43minutes before Greg Heard, I got this up and coming comedian named Greg Heard.
- 1:45:47How much is it? It's gonna be a little less than what you
- 1:45:51typically usually about about ninety percent less of what you used to but Greg her
- 1:45:58up and coming though funny guy and got Yeah, bro, I open for
- 1:46:02I opened for a private Jack Black and Chris Farley. I'll open up.
- 1:46:09I'll open up for a legend. But I can't. I know, I
- 1:46:13know, I'm sitting at home doing nothing, but I can only open for
- 1:46:16legends bad. Just to go ahead on Cam's your boy. I know you
- 1:46:18you got a defense for him, Go ahead me no defense. And this
- 1:46:21is not a segment against Cam. Now, this is what I was when
- 1:46:25I to last two or three years. When I'm saying, Cam, we
- 1:46:28agree with you. If he making ninety million dollars, go back up somebody
- 1:46:32that money in a real kind of back up way. Let that person stumble
- 1:46:38or get hurt. Go out there and do the Cam Newton, remind them
- 1:46:42who you are, and next thing you know, you back on the It's
- 1:46:45a short as your quarterback. But if he I mean, if you made
- 1:46:47the list shorter by not even being available, Yeah, go ahead. No,
- 1:46:51I'm just saying this. I mean I rather for Cam just to stay
- 1:46:56with if he feel like he's wanting to be a starter. It's just like
- 1:46:58Alan Iverson, he didn't want to be a backup. If you if you
- 1:47:00feel like you don't want you, you you're a starter. You don't want
- 1:47:03to do that, and you're not gonna be good for the organization. I
- 1:47:05mean, it's probably the best thing for anybody. No, I'm not true.
- 1:47:10I mean I agree. If your mentality is that I can't do this
- 1:47:14this way, then don't drag everybody down. But just accept that you're not
- 1:47:19playing anymore, and stop telling us how much better you are than the guys
- 1:47:23who are. That's all I'm saying about Cam. That bothers me. You're
- 1:47:27sitting here telling me I got nice hands, I'm nice with these our two
- 1:47:31pieces, and we out here knocking each other out with it's a circle of
- 1:47:35dudes waiting to get knocked out. But you won't put your dukes up.
- 1:47:39But you keep on telling me how you you're the best brawler. That's not
- 1:47:43Be quiet and just accept that you used to fight back in the day.
- 1:47:46Because Carmelo and Alan Iverson went on that same path. Alan Iverson did just
- 1:47:54what you said, said he didn't want to come off the bench, but
- 1:47:57he never made comments after that. He just told you that why did you
- 1:48:00retire? Hey, I didn't feel like I should have to come off the
- 1:48:01bench. Cart Mello said the same thing, went home for a year,
- 1:48:05thought about it, and then raised his hand to say, you know what,
- 1:48:08but I still want to play basketball, So what role do you want
- 1:48:11me to play? Cam spoke like Big Kenny is saying where. Okay,
- 1:48:17your opportunities are still there, so obviously you want to play because you keep
- 1:48:21talking about it. Right, lace him up. But he's not gonna humble
- 1:48:25himself to be a on the bench so high, to be a clipboard,
- 1:48:30regulate himself to the clipboard. He's not gonna do that. That's maybe that
- 1:48:33exactly, and that may be that's why he never played again. But we
- 1:48:38still Superman. He still he was. He still he did it great when
- 1:48:43he was there, Clark Kent, but he never left it alone. Bad
- 1:48:45producer. It's okay that you was great when you was great, but don't
- 1:48:49go out telling people how great you are trying to put down other people who
- 1:48:54decide to stay. Save somebody, don't pickles green and rediculed, tagging some
- 1:49:06won from down South and black out John Boway bar of The Sports Jock Show
- 1:49:13with Wayne Gambidios coming up next. And now let's talk about something exciting.
- 1:49:18Life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of
- 1:49:24financial security, Yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance. When I
- 1:49:29was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting started with our family
- 1:49:31and thought we lived forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:49:34What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills? When I
- 1:49:39was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling up, I was
- 1:49:41worried how my family will survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment
- 1:49:44with the insurance informant. Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your
- 1:49:47family security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now that I'm older,
- 1:49:51I don't worry about whether I leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:49:55The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn
- 1:49:58a little or a lot, All you need is the insurance informat to help
- 1:50:01you build a foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:50:05two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind? Log
- 1:50:11on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits or bills dot com.

- 1:51:19back to the Sports John Wayne Gandy. Now it's time for the school board
- 1:51:28when we put a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle on the
- 1:51:32Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy Show. Welcome back to the show on the
- 1:51:51Sports Doock Wayne Gandy. The Players Era Tournament is going to be out in
- 1:51:57Vegas. Commands you. Greg wants you to know that he is hoping this
- 1:52:01becomes a bigot. Now I'm not. He did bring me the story,
- 1:52:04but he didn't say that. I'm not gonna put that on him. But
- 1:52:08there is a new tournament that's gonna pop up next year for college basketball.
- 1:52:13It looks like they're going to offer a million dollars in nil payment to the
- 1:52:20colleges to come out and play in this tournament. My big question is what
- 1:52:27benefit would it do for the college. I didn't read anything what the college
- 1:52:32would get. They just were saying what the college could do with the million
- 1:52:34dollars. I don't know if the college gets to keep some of that and
- 1:52:39then give some of it out to the players. But it's still some of
- 1:52:44that where college needs some kind of guideline because that doesn't even sound right.
- 1:52:51Will they have to split some of that money? Also? You know,
- 1:52:54sometimes if I'm not if maybe you could tell me if I'm correct, Like
- 1:52:58when they win the bowl games, I'll split some of that money with the
- 1:53:00conference. Also, like they give a percentage down the percentage of the win
- 1:53:04go to the conferences. Not not that I'm aware of, all right,
- 1:53:09For some reason, I thought they're like if like when Alabama won the national
- 1:53:13championship, they get the conferences get a percentage of because that car but they're
- 1:53:16in that conference and they got a percentage for some reason. I was thinking
- 1:53:19that. So that's why, as far as I know, when you get
- 1:53:21like, if you go to some bowl, they give you five million dollars,
- 1:53:28then that's your payment for you to get here and whatever your expenses would
- 1:53:32be. And so that we're not providing you know how teams get paid.
- 1:53:38Georgia State A get paid to go play Oregon for a certain amount of money.
- 1:53:42They out of that money they have to pay their expenses. And feel
- 1:53:47because I used to always be like, I wonder why Georgia State just wouldn't
- 1:53:50play someone like Georgia or Georgia Tech, because that would help them keep some
- 1:53:56of that money, because all they gotta do is dry across the street to
- 1:54:00Georgia Tech. And you know, we could have stayed at home. But
- 1:54:05if you take that million, part of that million you have to spend on
- 1:54:10travel and lodging. Phil Cook was asking or saying, maybe they get some
- 1:54:15TV money and you you were saying about the nil and how some of this
- 1:54:18needs parameters. What I don't understand is how do I come up with a
- 1:54:25tournament? Do I have to be a legitimate, registered, publicly trading business
- 1:54:31like a camp or World or or can I just get with my friends who
- 1:54:36got a couple hundred thousand molded dollars in the basement and they want to make
- 1:54:42some cleaner money, and we just get together and offer schools. Look,
- 1:54:45we got a million dollars, y'all could split Where where is the where is
- 1:54:51the preventing the bad actors from getting in to this? Where is the stopping
- 1:54:57all of the potential crime and criminal element from attaching them? So we will
- 1:55:02see that, and we'll see that as we go forward. Now, Okay,
- 1:55:06you know, I think the NIL has opened up a lot of avenues
- 1:55:12where this could be just one of the first. Okay, but this one
- 1:55:16seems to be directly going to where we're going to make sure you note this
- 1:55:21how much money we're going giving towards the players so they might not transfer to
- 1:55:25after they play in this game. Right, the EA Sports right this year
- 1:55:29made sure that they offered each college student like what was it, six thousand
- 1:55:32or six hundred, six hundred, six hundred dollars, and I think about
- 1:55:36ten thousand, little over ten thousand opted to take the six hundred dollars from
- 1:55:43the game the EA Sports Company so that Antelope Valley University we talked about a
- 1:55:49couple of weeks ago who was trying to raise money to get to the tournament.
- 1:55:53They did for the women's and men's teams. I don't know if they
- 1:55:57had to do any pinut butter off the toes, but they did raise the
- 1:56:01money. And guys are just like you know, you're the only three guys
- 1:56:06that I have come into that wouldn't take one hundred and fifty grand. And
- 1:56:11I promise everybody else wants to know where is the briefcase? Listen, and
- 1:56:15I promise you. And I reflected in my private alone just me and me
- 1:56:19time, and said, man, the one fifty in front of you,
- 1:56:24and all you got to do is get the peanut butter off sports jock toes.
- 1:56:28And I still couldn't do it. Still, I mean, even when
- 1:56:31I have nobody to account to but me, I was just like, I
- 1:56:36just wanted y'all. I'm looking for people, but everybody everybody wanted to know
- 1:56:43where is the one fifty? I couldn't do it, and so they can
- 1:56:45get it over real quick. So also, what do we have here,
- 1:56:50Cat Williams. I saw a video make me laugh, Cat Williams running a
- 1:56:55forty yard Dad, how fast did he run? Because he say you do
- 1:56:57it in about four three? He said two four three, But he ran
- 1:57:00a four nine seven. Wait nine, that's that's not close. But it's
- 1:57:06not close at all. But it's not a four four nine seven. Ain't
- 1:57:11a four three but he in the fourth It ain't. Yeah, it ain't
- 1:57:15nothing like what he No. Four to two and a four to nine seven
- 1:57:17is two different one one one second pick of the draft. One is draft
- 1:57:25right. One is a spectator, a spectator. No one is blocking like
- 1:57:29me? Right, Yeah, I ran a four nine to one that has
- 1:57:35nothing to do running beside prime time. I mean it's two different speed limits.
- 1:57:41But for the guy that's won in six three. But Cat, how
- 1:57:44much is Cat william Wade? Maybe one forty? Yeah? Okay, so
- 1:57:51he ran a four nine seven, But he is what forty five forty seven
- 1:57:56years old? Hold was cat fifty seven years older? He's a little older.
- 1:58:00Yeah, he's in his fifty okay, okay, Because everybody was off.
- 1:58:02I think he did it off of the Tom Brady. Tom Brady went
- 1:58:05back and ran a forty. Now just faster than this combines a littlest like
- 1:58:11a half a step faster. Fifty two okay, fifty okay, just shout
- 1:58:18out, can we before we go? You know they had the tournaments this
- 1:58:23weekend. We talked about it. Grayson won both of the boys and girls,
- 1:58:26and I didn't mention over the weekend. Forgot to say that Dominique Wilkins
- 1:58:29Son was on that Grayson's team that won that state championship and where they boaster
- 1:58:34five D one players going University of Georgia, Purdue, and then a couple
- 1:58:40of other teams. So it was a great weekend for Georgia high school sports.
- 1:58:44Here in with times did they run and and God bless you Dominique at
- 1:58:55sixty five with a sixteen year old he ate wa he going to University of
- 1:59:00Georgia. Son committed to the University of eighteen and doubley. That's wait,
- 1:59:04so much difference, that's wait and we are you know. The truth is
- 1:59:14he will throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap things up.
- 1:59:18On The Sports Junk Show with Wayne Candy, when you decide an ocean,
- 1:59:47it gives us sports shop Jess a minute to Vin Com on Greg mcckinny,
- 1:59:53Donny Brown, Bad Producer, thank you for your contributions here today. Donny
- 1:59:59Brown, I was playing our producer analysts. You know, he was looking
- 2:00:02up facts at the band he was the band that racist a person who is
- 2:00:12prejudice against or towards people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial
- 2:00:19or ethnic group. HM. The Great Cheryl Miller says that if you're black,
- 2:00:27you can't be racist. I didn't read that in the definition of racist.
- 2:00:35Anyone and everybody can be racist. Why, because the human person is
- 2:00:41all prejudice. Lions find lions in the jungle, they will they just do.
- 2:00:47We all have prejudice. Racist is more of when you take prejudice to
- 2:00:51violence. It's okay not to like me. It's just not okay to hurt
- 2:00:57me because you don't like the color of my skin. But Cheryl, everybody
- 2:01:02can be racist. It's just in this country. It's a six seven to
- 2:01:05one difference, so it seems like you can. But when bad Producer went
- 2:01:15home with the white girl and Grandma saw him walking that door with the white
- 2:01:23girl, and she told him to get that white girl up my house right
- 2:01:30now, right, being just as racist right now as that white man who
- 2:01:36told his white daughter not to take the bad Producer. It's the same thing.
- 2:01:44So, Cheryl, as great as you are, you wrong. Anyone
- 2:01:49can be racist, just everybody don't have the power to make you feel they're
- 2:01:57racist. That is true. But for that legendary basketball star Cheryl swoops you
- 2:02:06it was Miller cheryff Swoops he said swoops, Yeah, he said Miller before.
- 2:02:13So oh okay, don't Cheryl, excuse me, Cheryl swoops, fuck
- 2:02:24the plank, swoops champagne everybody would have in their name. We had a
- 2:02:39great time listening to the show and Bad Producer. You don't have to cut
- 2:02:43your eyes over at Donny Brown uh to get some vindication for racism. I
- 2:02:47don't know why you think Donny is just as racist is him? But from
- 2:02:50the Sports Shock Show, y'all have a good afternoon. Peace Ala alata. Yeah,
