Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Alright, yo yo yo, alive from Philly. It's a number
- 0:08Speaker 1: one rated Polly and Tony Foolsto show Yo yea always
- 0:14Speaker 1: Polly Fools Go here with Tony Fools Go and Tony
- 0:18Speaker 1: Huge show today, you know, controversial interview involving Aaron Rodgers
- 0:24Speaker 1: and a former Packers quarterback, and uh, you know, we're
- 0:27Speaker 1: gonna tell you why all the fools in the media
- 0:29Speaker 1: have this story all wrong. And we're also gonna need
- 0:32Speaker 1: to defend Lama Jackson, who is being unfairly prosecuted for
- 0:37Speaker 1: what some people say was an untoward tweet. Wrong anyway,
- 0:42Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes m v P Talk do so ridiculous, Tony,
- 0:46Speaker 1: We're gonna show you stats that are gonna make you
- 0:48Speaker 1: realize how overrated this bum is. Yeah, you're not gonna
- 0:52Speaker 1: believe it, but then you're gonna believe it absolutely, Tony.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And unfortunately, though, uh you know, we asked Fox Sports
- 1:00Speaker 1: Radio over there to book us a guest, a good guest,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and wouldn't you know it, they go out and get
- 1:06Speaker 1: us the single most overexposed, most annoying person in all
- 1:11Speaker 1: his sports talk Nick right, and we're just gonna have
- 1:14Speaker 1: to put him in his place. Aren't we, Tony. Yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 1: the gutter, that's his place. Yeah, well, his career is
- 1:20Speaker 1: going down the gutter. You know, maybe that's why he's
- 1:22Speaker 1: coming to us for exposure. You know, he needs the exposure.
- 1:27Speaker 1: You know. On the subject of exposure, Yeah, do you know,
- 1:30Speaker 1: due to our huge ratings, advertisers continue to throw money
- 1:34Speaker 1: at us. It's it's efrectly it's embarrassing how desperate they.
- 1:38Speaker 1: But anyway, we're gonna do our business right now. A
- 1:41Speaker 1: sponsor read for our good friends at Edible Arrangements. Are
- 1:46Speaker 1: you planning to send someone you love an arrangement for
- 1:49Speaker 1: the holidays? Well, what good is it if they can't
- 1:52Speaker 1: eat it? Yeah? One time someone sent me a floral bouquet.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I bit into it and it tasted arable. Never spoke
- 2:01Speaker 1: to that a whole ever. Again, there's a good lesson
- 2:04Speaker 1: for you people out there. Anyway, go to edible Arrangements
- 2:07Speaker 1: dot com and to the promo code Paully and Tony.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Great show for one off your first order of three
- 2:13Speaker 1: or shipping taxes and box not included Edible Arrangements. Okay, Well,
- 2:19Speaker 1: now that we got that business out of the way,
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's time to get into our top story. Sure, alright,
- 2:26Speaker 1: First out the gate, Tony. You know everybody's buzzing about
- 2:29Speaker 1: this interview with the former Packers backup quarterback to Sean Kaiser,
- 2:34Speaker 1: who I guess somebody wanted to interview for some reason
- 2:36Speaker 1: that they can't figure out anyway, Beside the point anyway,
- 2:39Speaker 1: Kaisers said that when he first met with Aaron Rodgers
- 2:43Speaker 1: up in Green Bay, Rogers closed the door and asked
- 2:46Speaker 1: him if he knew the truth about nine eleven, and
- 2:49Speaker 1: then told him to research what really happened. Now, this
- 2:52Speaker 1: is some of the morons in the media just up
- 2:55Speaker 1: in arm Stony besides themselves, you know. But they just
- 2:58Speaker 1: don't get it, do they don't know? This is the
- 3:01Speaker 1: mindset you want for a QUB. You should want your
- 3:05Speaker 1: quarterback to be a conspiracy theorist. Think about it. On
- 3:09Speaker 1: every play as a q B, you have another team
- 3:12Speaker 1: of enemies literally conspiring to get you, disguising what they're
- 3:16Speaker 1: really doing, lying to you, trying to bring you down
- 3:20Speaker 1: and possibly kill you. Frankly, I would be worried if
- 3:24Speaker 1: my quarterback was not a conspiracy theorist. Great point, don Yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I want Mike q B to get in the huddle
- 3:32Speaker 1: and say to his team. You may think the Vikings
- 3:35Speaker 1: are blitzing, but that's exactly what they want you to believe.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Don't be a blind sheep. Totally a great, Tony. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: you know, if I was an NFL GM, you know
- 3:46Speaker 1: what I'd do. The first thing I would do is
- 3:48Speaker 1: I'd ask any college quarterback coming up in the draft.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I'd ask him how many people were involved in the
- 3:55Speaker 1: shooting of JFK And if he gave me a number
- 3:58Speaker 1: lower than six, I'd kick his ass to the curb. Absolutely,
- 4:03Speaker 1: you'd have to, you know, net stuff we hate to
- 4:06Speaker 1: discuss on this show, you know, as Mike Florio put it,
- 4:10Speaker 1: quote Volga content. But you know this is our duty
- 4:13Speaker 1: as journalist, isn't it, Tony. You know that's what we do.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Absolutely so you know, earlier this week, Ravens quarterback Lamar
- 4:20Speaker 1: Jackson got caught up in a media firestorm over a
- 4:23Speaker 1: tweet with some let's say choice language. Now they give
- 4:27Speaker 1: you the backstory or what happened yere uh. Some random
- 4:30Speaker 1: person tweeted that Lamar Jackson doesn't deserve a huge contract
- 4:35Speaker 1: because he needed to rely on his kicker to try
- 4:38Speaker 1: and win that game against the Jadge, which they didn't.
- 4:40Speaker 1: But anyway, Lamar tweeted back at this guy and and
- 4:43Speaker 1: I quote and I quote this as part of my
- 4:45Speaker 1: journalistic duty. Okay, he tweeted, boy, shut the up. Y'all
- 4:50Speaker 1: be capping too much on this app. MF never smelt
- 4:54Speaker 1: a football field, never did but eat. Well. You know,
- 5:00Speaker 1: people they read this tweet and they were so enraged
- 5:03Speaker 1: that they basically forced Lamar to delete it. And Tony,
- 5:07Speaker 1: this is just another example of censorship. And you know,
- 5:11Speaker 1: imposing on a person's freedom of speech. It's just terrible,
- 5:14Speaker 1: isn't it. It's horrible. You know, people need to learn
- 5:18Speaker 1: their history. When our founding fathers, Abraham Lincoln and George
- 5:22Speaker 1: Jefferson founded our glorious nation, they envisioned the land where
- 5:26Speaker 1: people had freedom of speech. If we can't let an
- 5:30Speaker 1: NFL quarterback freely say hey, mother, shut the up, eat,
- 5:35Speaker 1: then I'm afraid we've lost our way as a country.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Beautifully said Tony. We gotta lead to another bizarre and
- 5:43Speaker 1: troubling trend in the betting world. You know, the Vegas
- 5:46Speaker 1: oddsmakers just way off again at first what they did
- 5:49Speaker 1: this week. They put the two lost Kansas City Chiefs
- 5:52Speaker 1: as Super Bowl favorites ahead of the one lost Eagles,
- 5:56Speaker 1: which only makes sense if you're a total idiot. And
- 5:59Speaker 1: just the further show how stupid these bozos are. They
- 6:02Speaker 1: have Patrick Mahomes as the favorite for m v P.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Yeah over Jalen Hearts. But you know, if you actually
- 6:08Speaker 1: bother to do the research here, you know, and look
- 6:11Speaker 1: at the stats, you know, Mahomes stats, you can see
- 6:15Speaker 1: he doesn't deserve Jack squat and you know that's not right. Now,
- 6:18Speaker 1: we're gonna do a segment on the show that we
- 6:20Speaker 1: came up with all laws. You know, other lazy sports
- 6:23Speaker 1: shows they've copied it, but here we're gonna do a
- 6:25Speaker 1: segment called blind Resume Blind. Okay, so this is how
- 6:31Speaker 1: this is gonna work. People. I'm going to compare Patrick
- 6:34Speaker 1: Mahomes stats to the stats of another quarterback, and Tony
- 6:39Speaker 1: has to guess which quarterback I'm talking about. So here's
- 6:42Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. We're gonna look at the three
- 6:44Speaker 1: QB stats that matter the most. You know, because people
- 6:47Speaker 1: they love to throw stats at you, but they're really
- 6:49Speaker 1: only free that matter. Yeah, they don't know the whole story, Yeah, exactly.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Of course, we're talking about interceptions, completion, percentage and game
- 6:57Speaker 1: winning drives led by quarterback now home House. Yeah, Mahomes
- 7:01Speaker 1: has eight interceptions, terrible six completion percentage and only two
- 7:08Speaker 1: game winning drives. Yeah, Tony, tell me, who do you
- 7:13Speaker 1: think is putting up the same numbers as Patrick Mahomes
- 7:17Speaker 1: this season? M hmm, this is a tough one. PAULI yep,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and uh, I gotta say I'm at a loss. Kenny Pickett. Wow.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Kenny Pickett also has eight interceptions, completion percentage and two
- 7:37Speaker 1: game winning drives, which just puts it in perspective and
- 7:41Speaker 1: shows you how bad Patrick Mahomes really is. Wow. You know,
- 7:45Speaker 1: maybe Patrick Mahomes needs to start reading more message boards
- 7:49Speaker 1: and four chan so he can recognize a defensive conspiracy
- 7:53Speaker 1: and not get intercepted so much. Great point, don'ty, And
- 7:58Speaker 1: just one last story or a cool one out of
- 8:00Speaker 1: college football, Auburn has hired former Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and you know, the media once again just losing their
- 8:07Speaker 1: mind because you know, phrase was caught committing a bunch
- 8:10Speaker 1: of recruiting violations at Oldness. But you know, personally, Tony,
- 8:14Speaker 1: I think this speaks well of Freeze. You know, he's
- 8:16Speaker 1: proven that he has the cheating expertise necessary to get
- 8:21Speaker 1: Auburn back to being a respected prestige program. And uh,
- 8:25Speaker 1: that's the way college football works, doesn't Don'ty? Absolutely? People
- 8:29Speaker 1: always say in recruiting, you should go after the best players,
- 8:34Speaker 1: no wrong. First you need to recruit the best escorts.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Once you recruit the best escorts, then you can recruit
- 8:43Speaker 1: the best players. It's really simple, terrific point Tony as always,
- 8:48Speaker 1: And you know, we could dive deeper on this, but
- 8:50Speaker 1: unfortunately we got a terrible guest coming on the line,
- 8:53Speaker 1: so let's bring him on the FUSCO satellite network work
- 9:00Speaker 1: all right, this guy go host of First Things First
- 9:04Speaker 1: on FS one. And on that note, as we bring
- 9:06Speaker 1: him on here, you know, I guess we do have
- 9:08Speaker 1: to say. You know, we're sorry to hear the news
- 9:10Speaker 1: that you know, you show got moved from the cushy
- 9:13Speaker 1: important morning time slot on the afternoon dead zone when
- 9:17Speaker 1: nobody's watching. You know, you used to be first out
- 9:20Speaker 1: the gate. Now you're in the donkeys behind of sports talk.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Everybody's heard all they you know, they let me run
- 9:30Speaker 1: the He doesn't know how TV works, this is why
- 9:34Speaker 1: they all Right, what do you want to say go interrupt.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I mean they let me run the anchor leg after yeah,
- 9:46Speaker 1: if you the Titanic the Fox, I okay, I mean again,
- 9:51Speaker 1: we are running the anchor leg, which many people feels
- 9:54Speaker 1: the most important leg. And who's running the third leg?
- 9:58Speaker 1: But a guy who without him, you guys would be nothing.
- 10:01Speaker 1: A guy who you guys got your start calling his
- 10:04Speaker 1: radio kid and she begged us to come on. You're
- 10:09Speaker 1: talking about Colin Cowy show provisionist history. You know, am
- 10:15Speaker 1: I the first return guests that special get over yourself? Yeah,
- 10:22Speaker 1: on the show all the time. But you know, hold
- 10:24Speaker 1: on a second, Nick. You know if if you admitted
- 10:26Speaker 1: you're the anchor leg now, so instead of calling the
- 10:29Speaker 1: show first thing first, why haven't they retitled it through
- 10:31Speaker 1: Last Things Last? Wouldn't that much sense? Well, you guys
- 10:36Speaker 1: would know this if you had ever had any modicum
- 10:41Speaker 1: And go ahead, Pauli and google that work. Congratulations, well done. Yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: the success. But when something works, it creates brand loyalty.
- 10:54Speaker 1: And so even if it doesn't now have the you know,
- 10:57Speaker 1: double entendra of its first things first, which is like
- 11:01Speaker 1: how you started an argument or discussion, and also being
- 11:04Speaker 1: early in the morning, they didn't want to change, all right,
- 11:07Speaker 1: you know, I know you're just gonna give some pat answer.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Please let's move on. I'm sorry I even asked the
- 11:13Speaker 1: question and wasted our time here. But let's just get
- 11:15Speaker 1: to our main topic here, alright. Sean Kaiser, former Packers
- 11:19Speaker 1: backup quarterback. He was interviewed for some reason that nobody
- 11:23Speaker 1: can figure out anyway. Apparently, he said that when he
- 11:26Speaker 1: first met with Aaron Rodgers up in Green Bank, that
- 11:29Speaker 1: Rogers took him aside into a room and told him
- 11:31Speaker 1: to research the truth about nine eleven. Now, you media people,
- 11:36Speaker 1: you know, you're so soft and angry. You're all up
- 11:38Speaker 1: and on saying how it's bad that Aaron Rodgers is
- 11:41Speaker 1: a conspiracy theorist. But don't you want your que beat
- 11:45Speaker 1: to be a conspiracy theorist? That defense is conspiring against
- 11:49Speaker 1: your enemies, trying to deceive and fooling you. Isn't the
- 11:53Speaker 1: conspiracy theorist the perfect person to be a quarterback? Come on, well,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I mean you, for the first time in the history
- 12:01Speaker 1: of this show, you almost make a good point. You're
- 12:05Speaker 1: like your hat. You have the kernel of a good idea,
- 12:08Speaker 1: which is, don't you want your quarterback to be a
- 12:12Speaker 1: big thinker to talk to think about things that aren't
- 12:16Speaker 1: simply right in front of him, and could that translate
- 12:19Speaker 1: the about Unfortunately, it would appear that Aaron has become
- 12:27Speaker 1: as he has become more uh let's call it interested
- 12:33Speaker 1: in you know, the conspiracy lanes. I don't know if
- 12:37Speaker 1: that's taken up more of his time his film study,
- 12:40Speaker 1: or if he's just getting old. But the crazier Aaron
- 12:44Speaker 1: Rodgers has crazy is a mean word. Aaron Rodgers has
- 12:49Speaker 1: gotten the worst his play has gotten. Those two lines
- 12:53Speaker 1: seem to be, you know, inversely correlated. Another thing you're
- 12:57Speaker 1: gonna have to google. Yes, he can't say the same
- 13:00Speaker 1: thing about you the more quote unquote research you though
- 13:03Speaker 1: the worst, your ratings have gotten the worst. Now you
- 13:07Speaker 1: later later? Yea. And you know you kind of look
- 13:09Speaker 1: like Aaron though. If I gave the long heads like
- 13:13Speaker 1: you're trying to get more like Aaron? Then you realize
- 13:17Speaker 1: which one's Polly, which one's getting me rude? Yeah? Once
- 13:23Speaker 1: every wee Nick, And which one's Colin Coward? Want to yeah, exactly,
- 13:29Speaker 1: which one's cowherd light? Yeah? Exactly, that's Tony. That's Tony
- 13:33Speaker 1: talking there, Polly. How to read a zoom. How can
- 13:37Speaker 1: you read how can you read stats? You can't even
- 13:39Speaker 1: read a zoom? Yeah, Polly, Polly's the one who's insulting
- 13:43Speaker 1: my hair, but it's so ashamed of his that he
- 13:45Speaker 1: wears a hat everywhere I've ever seen. It's called fashion.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Shake it up, it's called fashion. Something you should you
- 13:53Speaker 1: look like, I'm shocked. We were I assumed we were
- 13:57Speaker 1: going to talk about your wildly overrated folk All team.
- 14:01Speaker 1: That's what I figured. No, No, we're gonna talk about
- 14:04Speaker 1: your wildly overrated it's what we call a segment, wildly
- 14:09Speaker 1: overrated playing of Kansas City, right because you once worked
- 14:13Speaker 1: there when you were kind of nobody, which is where
- 14:15Speaker 1: you're headed again. But that's another story anyway. You know
- 14:18Speaker 1: you're a huge Patrick Mahomes fan, right, what we'd call
- 14:22Speaker 1: a Mahoma You know that's uh you know. So what
- 14:24Speaker 1: we're gonna do right now is called blind resume. Are
- 14:27Speaker 1: you familiar with how this type of segment I invented this,
- 14:31Speaker 1: ohto segment? Yea, we were going years ago when twenty
- 14:39Speaker 1: years Yeah, it doesn't count. When you guys are just
- 14:42Speaker 1: talking to each other. There has to be an audience.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It can't be like, who do you think this? Quarterbacks?
- 14:53Speaker 1: Nothing like me? Doesn't sound anything authentic. Let's get Nick
- 14:58Speaker 1: on so people might act, wow, he's embarrassing one who
- 15:03Speaker 1: needs the audience, buddy? Yeah, last thing? All right, here
- 15:07Speaker 1: you go, and the three most important stats that tell
- 15:12Speaker 1: the whole story. Yet eight interceptions, terrible, sixty six percent
- 15:17Speaker 1: completion mediocre, and go game winning drives. Now, Nick, with
- 15:23Speaker 1: so called expertise, please tell us which to be has
- 15:27Speaker 1: the same terrible stats as Patrick Mahomes. Okay, eight interceptions,
- 15:34Speaker 1: sixty six percent completions, and two game winning drives. You're stalling,
- 15:39Speaker 1: But okay, I'm gonna say, Parson Wentz, you wish you
- 15:46Speaker 1: wish wins. Unfortunately, the answer for your is Tenny Pickett.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Eight interception, sixties completion, two game winning drives. Just that terrible,
- 15:56Speaker 1: terrible kill be. So the Patrick Patrick Mahong is bas
- 16:01Speaker 1: Kenny Picket. So we'll give you this opportunity right here
- 16:04Speaker 1: to admit that your your beloved Patrick Mahomes, is overrating draft. No,
- 16:07Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do that, but I am a little
- 16:09Speaker 1: insulted that you said the reason I like the Chiefs
- 16:13Speaker 1: is because I briefly worked in Kansas city. I'm from
- 16:17Speaker 1: Kansas City, Missouri, proper in the city limits, unlike you guys,
- 16:22Speaker 1: who I have heard many a story that you guys
- 16:25Speaker 1: are actually from off Yeah, you're from you from Andora show,
- 16:44Speaker 1: your new time slot, the show that show a lad one?
- 16:54Speaker 1: Is he awful line? Jay? Hang up the phone. Just
- 16:58Speaker 1: what a terrible guest all around, Tony. I can't believe
- 17:02Speaker 1: anyone wants to hear his opinions any time a day. Yeah, true, terrible.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Well I certainly don't right now and never again. So
- 17:11Speaker 1: but you know we're not gonna let him ruin an
- 17:12Speaker 1: otherwise perfect show, don'ty uh? You know we want to
- 17:15Speaker 1: thank God sponsors, our dear friends and edible arrangements. And no, no,
- 17:22Speaker 1: it's the only person on the planet worse than Nick right,
- 17:26Speaker 1: it's our producer, Jay. Watch what look you said? Patrick
- 17:31Speaker 1: Mahomes is statistically comparable to Kenny pick It because they
- 17:34Speaker 1: both have thrown eight interceptions. Yeah it's yeah, yeah, it's true.
- 17:40Speaker 1: But Patrick Mahomes has thrown twenty nine touchdowns. Canny pickt
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's thrown three. Oh yeah, well you are gonna be
- 17:51Speaker 1: thrown in front of a train. Yeah, you should be
- 17:55Speaker 1: sitting on a throne because you're the King of the losers, Dony.
- 18:01Speaker 1: What you said one of the founding fathers was George Jefferson. Yeah, yeah, No,
- 18:09Speaker 1: George Jefferson was not a founding father. He was a
- 18:13Speaker 1: sitcom character on The Jefferson's. Oh yeah, well, I'm going
- 18:19Speaker 1: to sit calmly on your face until you pass out. Yeah,
- 18:25Speaker 1: you're moving on down to the unemployment line. Great one done.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You said Lamar Jackson was being unfairly prosecuted for his
- 18:40Speaker 1: offensive tweet. It's terrible. What's going on there? Yeah, there's
- 18:45Speaker 1: no trial. What I think you meant to say is
- 18:49Speaker 1: he's being unfairly persecuted, not prosecuted. Oh yeah, well I
- 18:56Speaker 1: hope you get electrocuted after the show. Yeah, you should
- 19:02Speaker 1: be prosecuted for being a terrible producer. Yeah, turned it around.
- 19:11Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about turn it around. We're about to
- 19:13Speaker 1: turn this whole show back around again because guess what,
- 19:16Speaker 1: King goes next week? Just booked super Bowl legend Eagles
- 19:21Speaker 1: hero Nick Falls coming on the show. Until then, don't
- 19:27Speaker 1: forget to follow us on our many tremendous social media platforms,
- 19:31Speaker 1: including You'll go right, you can watch the show. We're
- 19:34Speaker 1: all over when we're on TikTok. You know, Tony, great
- 19:38Speaker 1: job as always, same to you, Pauli. Another flawless show.
- 19:45Speaker 1: There you go. We'll see a paper next week by
- 19:48Speaker 1: see uh
