We don't do too many episodes that are just like totally talking about the Bible or totally talking about our faith. Usually it's interwoven, and some episodes we don't talk about our faith too much. some of them, most of them they're interwoven. But we don't do episodes too often where we're just speaking to your spirit and to your soul that is connected with God. and today we are. We are going there and we're going really deep. This isn't gonna be a super long one, but it's going to be one that I pray hits you in the gut, hits you in the heart, hits you in the soul, and that the Lord and the Holy Spirit will use to heal you and heal your belief about your body and how he made you. So let me start off with prayer today. Lord Jesus, we just come before you. God, today's message is so powerful. It's so strong. Lord, I don't feel equipped or or worthy to be able to speak on it. how could I speak on such indescribable God and how you have fearfully and wonderfully woven us together? How could anyone speak on it, Lord? So, Jesus, I just humbly ask you would speak through me to my dear sister in Christ. Holy Spirit, fill me to speak to her and give her the words of encouragement from your word through your spirit. To to build her up, Lord, to reveal the lies of the enemy of the devil. And Lord Jesus, we pray you would tear down the devil, tear down any shame or guilt or worry or anxiety that he breeds upon her fertility. I speak against it in the name of Jesus Christ. Tear it down, Lord. Tear down the demons that tried to torture her, that tried to distract her. That tried to place fear or worry in her. God, I rebuke them in your name. I pray that you would speak through me, Lord, and let me speak accurately upon your word. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Okay, sister. So a story that has stuck with me for a very long time is I worked with a client several years ago, and she had been she she had a few children. I think she had maybe two or three kids, but then she'd had three losses. She had three miscarriages. And we were talking on the phone and she said, Becca, I just think I'm cursed. Like I know I'm cursed. That's what it says in the Bible. It's that I'm cursed and that's why I'm dealing with this. And she was she really believed that. She believed that the Bible said that because she was a woman, she was cursed. And that is why she kept losing her babies. And on top of all of this, she was also suffering from severe postpartum depression and all of the horrible, horrible, heavy evil thoughts that come from that. And so she was just in such a low place. And so this episode is my expanded. version of what I tried to tell her in a quick response on that, you know. so you know, of course I I could give my my thoughts and my encouragement, my response on that one in in a minute or two on that phone call. but I just want to expand on that because if you are a a Christ following, believing, Christ Jesus loving woman, you need to know what's going on spiritually. You need to know what happened at the very beginning and what's been going on for all of history and what's going to happen at the end and how it's all it it that's all connected to your fertility. It really is. so let's go there. Okay. So in Genesis three, before that, God created. He created everything and he, I'm sure you know the story, right? He then he created Man and he created woman and he created them in the image of God. and then they don't messed up. All right. They sinned, they fell into sin. And out of that sin that they chose to not be a part of God's love anymore, because they wanted to control, they wanted to be like God. Out of that, there came consequences and curses. The man and the woman were not cursed. The serpent was cursed. The ground was cursed. The man and the woman received consequences that they would have for the rest of their days, I imagine, until Jesus comes back and undoes the consequences and the curses that came from the very beginning from the fall of man. The serpent was cursed. Okay. So immediately when we just go to read Genesis 3, it's very clear that the serpent was cursed, the ground was cursed, and the man and the woman were given consequences. So to you, my sister, that immediately tells us you are not cursed. Okay. your husband or you you know, your spouse, men, they were given the consequence of like they were gonna have to work the ground of the earth. So their consequence was, you know, I I imagine this it and by the way, when I talk about all this, y'all, I am not a theolog I am not a theologian. I'm not a biblical scholar. And I'm gonna, I'm gonna tell you when I don't, when I'm like, I think this is what this means, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. So talk to your pastor, your priest, whoever. And and check everything, test everything. and I absolutely do not claim to understand and know all of this perfectly, especially once we get to revelation. I'm like, okay, y'all, I I'm not gonna pretend even pretend like I know the correct interpretation of all of this, but I am but there are some parts that are pretty darn clear that we can connect the dots on. Okay. So I just want to put that disclaimer out there. But you know, again, when we think of the man, it's pretty clear that he was going to struggle and have have to work, right? And I'm kind of like, well, you know, he kind of had to do that at the beginning anyways, but then it became a struggle for him with that sin consequence. And oftentimes we do see that in men is like it's it's not a whole lot of fun to work for them. Like they have to do it. They They they gotta do it to take care of themselves, but more importantly to provide for their families and take care of their families. And there's just something about it that men, they've they've got that weight on them. And there's something about that that's connected to the sin consequence of Genesis three. I'm not gonna speak like I'm the expert on that one, but I I really, really have dug into the sin consequence for women. it says in Genesis 3, 16, I really like the King James Version on this one because it accurately it in my opinion, it more accurately reflects the Hebrew meanings of the different words. because you know, I think what most women, what most Christian women believe about their sin consequence and their sin outcome. Is that it's going to hurt when they have babies and something to do with the husband, right? Like maybe they want to control their husband or whatever. I'm not going to talk about that part today. I'm going to talk about this the part about it's going to hurt when I have babies. And especially if you're listening to this podcast, like this is why I wrestled with this passage for a long time. Cause I was like, God, okay, yes, it's gonna hurt when we have babies, but what about all the women? Who can't get pregnant? What about the women who get pregnant and then they lose their baby? Like, why are they not included even in this sin consequence? And I heard it over and over from so many people of like, man, I'm just not even like, should I even be a Christian? Because I'm not even included in this sin consequence of the very beginning. And I'm here to kind of like, Unravel that and show what I have found, and I want you to test it with scripture and with the people that you seek for counsel when it comes to the word of God. So in Genesis 3:16, God says, Unto the woman, he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception. In sorrow thou shalt bring forth children, and thy desire, shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. So when we look at the first part of that verse, there's really two parts of the first part. The first is, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception. So sorrow is connected to conception. And then the second is, in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children. So that second part is, it's going to be hard. When you bring forth children. So we actually have two different hardships here. The word sorrow in Hebrew that is used in this text. I didn't look it up before, but I used to study it. So it's been a long time. But the sorrow word can mean hardship or toil or burden. So I like to think I like to pick the hardship one. So I will greatly multiply thy hardship and thy conception. So when we think about hardship and conception, conception, that word there is it literally means conception or it means pregnancy. So it means like being pregnant. and it says there we're gonna have hardship with our conceptions or hardship with pregnancies. So there's a connection with hardship and conception. So if you are trying to conceive and it's not working right now, this is a direct connection to Genesis 316, that you are having hardship with conception. This was a consequence that was given out from the very beginning of time. So maybe you haven't experienced the hardship of having a baby, like actually laboring. And delivering a baby, that's a whole different kind of hardship in itself. And maybe you haven't experienced that one. But if you have had hardship with conception, whether it has been having a hard time conceiving, or maybe you have conceived, and then you had great sorrow in losing the conception and losing the pregnancy and miscarriage. So, sister, you are included. In this sin outcome. I mean, that's not super exciting. But for those of you who have believed that you are cursed and that God is exiling you just for the fact that you're a woman or exiling you for, you know, the bad things you've done. And that's why, you know, you're not even, you're not even a part of this. You shouldn't even follow him or believe him. That's a full on flat out lie. That's a lie. You are included. There are fertility difficulties from the point of trying to conceive to being pregnant to delivering the baby to postpartum and breastfeeding to even raising children, there are going to be some hardships that we experience in all of those. And it's all connected to Genesis three. Okay. So I hope that that clears things up for you. At an it this part is not necessarily encouraging, but at least it brings clarity. And now let's get to the part where we can make more connection. In the verse prior to Genesis 3:16 and Genesis 3:15, one part of the curse or the outcome that God gave to the serpent was this: God said to the serpent, and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. It shall bruise your head. And you will bruise his heel. Most interpretations of this passage are that the woman is Mary and that her seed is Jesus Christ, and that Jesus Christ will crush Satan's head, and Satan bruised his heel. And all of that was fulfilled in Jesus' life and in his crucifixion and resurrection. And I believe I I don't know. I I'm not claiming to know this part. I'm like, I don't know if this was fulfilled in all of that, or if it will be completely fulfilled when Jesus comes back. But in in any regard, there was enmity, hatred, enmity means hatred, between Satan and the woman, Mary, and between her seed and Satan's seed. And we read further along in the New Testament about. Like, well, who is Mary's seed and who is Satan's seed? And basically, Mary's seed is explained in Revelation twelve, verse seventeen. The dragon, Satan, was angry with the woman. There's that same enmity and hostility. And he went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. So the offspring of Mary, Jesus, are those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. So if you're a Christian, and I know this isn't news to you, but it's it's a very interesting light to think about in light of your fertility. if you are a Christian, you believe in Jesus Christ, you bear his testimony, Satan's got it out for you. He has enmity and hostility and hatred for us. And when you go back and read all of Revelation 12, you can see this kind of confusing but really graphic picture of the dragon trying to devour and kill the baby that is being delivered from this woman. Now, I'm not gonna go all into that because I'm still studying it. I'm still trying to figure out all the correct interpretations, but you can see like Satan is out to steal, kill, and destroy. And he is out to tear down the offspring of Jesus Christ. And what better way to do that than through the woman's fertility? Because and I'm just speaking from his perspective, right? Like a little screw tape letters intro here. If he could prevent this woman who loves Jesus from getting pregnant, he wins. Okay, fine. She got pregnant. If he could destroy that pregnancy, then great. That's one less follower of this Jesus. If he could create destruction and tor turmoil in her labor and in her birth. Awesome. Okay, well maybe the baby finally came and he couldn't prevent that from happening. So now he's gonna have it out on her in the newborn days or maybe even as the child grows up. Like he is out for it. And I I don't say this in fear, whatever. I say this in reality of like, let's just observe his strategy here because it's real clear. It's real clear that he is attacking the unborn. I mean, we we don't talk about it too much on the podcast because I know your heart is like, girlfriend, Becca, like I'm trying to get pregnant. Can you help me? But it's really apparent that we are having a genocide of the unborn in regards to abortion in our day and age. And if we just look at that, we could see like Satan is he is out. He is out to destroy. Human life. And my sister in Christ, if you love Jesus and you are telling the Lord, Lord, I want to have a baby to raise up for your kingdom, of course you're going to be attacked. Of course there's going to be spiritual warfare. And so this doesn't breed fear in us. It breeds perspective and it breeds, this is my reality. And I'm so glad I am on the winning side here. Because sure, this might be Satan's strategy and it might be his attack. And here's Becca unveiling it. And I'm not the only one unveiling this. many people are unveiling the strategies and the attacks of Satan. And so now that you see it, you just call his bluff on it and it increases your prayer. It increases your surrender and your loyalty to the winning King Jesus Christ. Our Lord and Savior. He's awesome, right? Like we have absolutely nothing to fear. Because whether we are in the highest of highs or we are in the lowest of lows and grieving and sorrow, Jesus Christ is defeating death. He is defeating Satan. He is going to come back and completely destroy him for all time. We have nothing to fear. For he is with us. Be strong and courageous. The Lord your God is with you. Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid. Stand firm. So this is something we need to know. We need to know it for ourselves. We need to understand this for our own fertility journey. As we're walking through this, like our faith and our fertility, it is so interwoven. And if you don't see that, I really hope. This episode helps you to see that. We're not just trying to fix our ovulation. We're not just trying to fix our hormones. We're not just trying to get healthier. Like our faith has to be the foundation of everything that we do. If our faith isn't there, everything will crumble. It's like the passage where Jesus Christ talks about the man who builds his house on sand. The wind came, the the rain, let's see, the wind blew, the rain came and it washed down that house. It burned down that house. My sister in Christ, if you are if you are just trying to take all the pregnancy tests and you're you are trying to do all of the hormone labs and you are trying to go to all of the doctors and you are you are doing, doing, doing, doing, and you're trying to search and you're trying to Google and you're trying to figure it out. And if you do not have the foundation of Jesus Christ, your house will crumble. This is going to be a real hard journey for you. You're not going to make it. You're going to be broken through it. But if your foundation is Jesus Christ and your, he is your rock, and you are surrendering everything that he asks of you to him, yeah, he might encourage you to go to certain different doctors. He might encourage you to do some lab work. He might encourage you to learn how to chart your cycle. He might encourage you. To do some of these things, but you're doing it all at his guidance and in a wholly surrendered faith with him, and you're walking with him. You're not doing this out of control. that's where we need to be. So that yes, this is for our own journeys, but guys, like this is for our daughters or our future daughters or our spiritual daughters. like. We've we've got to empower women in our life with this information and with this biblical knowledge. So yeah, this is a great episode to share maybe in your church group, I don't know, with your friends, like whoever. Like we've got to get this message out. Share it with your pastor, please. Like I'd love to hear what they think. Again, I'm real humble about all this stuff. I'm not claiming to know everything, but I so firmly see this spiritually, this battle that's going on, and we all need to see it. And we all need to stand up and fight. or actually, no, we all need to get on our knees and fight in prayer. on this and and knowing that we have the victory in Jesus Christ. So, so I hope that that, I hope that this, I hope that this message encourages you. I know the first part was kind of like, man, that's where that's where this hardship comes from. Okay. But this is what we do with it. We see why it's happening, we see where it's coming from. We see the strategy and now we know what to do. Build our foundation, build our life on Jesus Christ. And then all the rest will come. I'm I'm just gonna end it there. So let me pray over you. And and actually before I do that, did you sign up for the boot camp yet? Because this is where we learn how to how to build that foundation on Jesus Christ and all the physical things we can do as well when our foundation is on Christ. all the things we can do to naturally support our bodies. in this conception and fertility journey. So back at yon.com slash boot camp, sign up for it. Lord Jesus, we come before you. God, thank you for this message. Thank you for clarity and for unveiling what is going on, what has been happening historically in time, in what is to come and where we fit in the middle of it and how it's playing out in our lives and our fertility and in our hearts desire to grow our families. Of course, we have a desire to grow our families for the furthering of your kingdom. And of course, Satan doesn't want that to happen. So, Lord, again, we rebuke him. We we pray you would tear him down, Jesus. Get him out of our lives, get him out of our fertility journeys, out of our prayers and our hearts to grow a family for Jesus Christ. Would you give these women listening so many children? to raise up for your kingdom and for your glory. Would you empower them, Lord? Would you encourage them that you love them so dearly and you see every single one of them and they are so valuable and so worthy and so loved. And so, Lord, I just pray that that would burden their hearts today. We pray all these things in your holy name. Amen.
