- 0:00Throughout history gang, all Fiat currencies fail.
- 0:04All of them. Every single one of them
- 0:06throughout time has failed. There's not a single currency
- 0:08that has technically lasted more than 708090 years.
- 0:13Stops is every single time this has happened in history.
- 0:17Gold and silver have always been there in in between those
- 0:21currencies. People switch their preference
- 0:24from the Fiat currencies to gold and silver coins.
- 0:26Something of real intrinsic value.
- 0:29And then you have to remember now, even the powers that be in
- 0:32the countries where the Fiat has failed use gold to measure the
- 0:37old currency against the new. If you're invested in silver or
- 0:45gold, you need to pay close attention to the laws of the
- 0:50land. It can have a major impact on
- 0:53your ability to stack and how you can use your silver and gold
- 0:57as legal tender. Today we have a big update.
- 1:01We're joined by Mr. Patrick Holland from the Missouri
- 1:04Freedom Initiative. He's gonna let you know, are you
- 1:08in a state, one of the 15 states that currently have gold and
- 1:13silver legal tender legislation pending.
- 1:17Pat. Welcome to Ron's Basement.
- 1:19Ron, thank you so much for having me back.
- 1:21I I don't see. Oh, Smitty.
- 1:23I see he's oh, he's kind of behind your ear there.
- 1:25OK, good deal. Yeah.
- 1:27Smitty. You doing OK buddy?
- 1:28Smitty Smitty is the Silver bear who has a blindfold on that says
- 1:3385 dollars. Yes and when?
- 1:35When Silver hits $85 Mr., Pat Holland will be here to take the
- 1:40blindfold off of Smitty the Bear.
- 1:42You betcha. And so he can see.
- 1:45And Ron, thank you so much for having me back, actually.
- 1:47This is one of those really, really important episodes that
- 1:50we'll be doing. And whereas last year I was kind
- 1:54of informing folks of what was going on in the States, I need
- 1:56to do the same thing again this year.
- 1:58And I do have a little stack of papers here.
- 2:01OK, I'm gonna be going through each state quickly, if you don't
- 2:05mind. Just so people know what States
- 2:07and what the bill numbers are in their states, OK?
- 2:11So we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna let people know our
- 2:13viewer who's joining us, are they in a state with this legal
- 2:17tender legislation pending. And at the end we'll talk about
- 2:21why it's so important. But I I think everyone's dying
- 2:25in curiosity to hear you get through this list.
- 2:27Pat. OK, gotcha.
- 2:28Well, I'll tell you what, I'm gonna start with Florida, and
- 2:31that's a shout out to our good friends with the Citizens for
- 2:34Sound Money. That's one of the states they're
- 2:37running. So in Florida there is a bill
- 2:40and the writing is terribly small.
- 2:42So forgive me here, but they're basically going for a depository
- 2:46there and that is House Bill 697697.
- 2:54I feel like I'm playing bingo, but that is in Florida.
- 2:58Guys, if you are in Florida, please go to
- 3:03citizensforsoundmoney.com I believe is their web address.
- 3:08Please help out with the effort down there.
- 3:11That's a big one. Florida I'm really, really,
- 3:14really hoping that they get something really good done.
- 3:16That would be very, very good for the liberty movement.
- 3:19And let me let me throw something in on Florida that I
- 3:21found very interesting. If Florida were its own country,
- 3:24it would be the 15th largest country in the world measured by
- 3:29the size of the economy. So it is significant, yeah.
- 3:33You bet. It is a big state.
- 3:35There's a lot of folks in Florida too.
- 3:37So if you're one of those folks, please get on that bandwagon and
- 3:41help push that legislation through.
- 3:43Next one also having to do with Citizens for Sound Money is the
- 3:49New Hampshire bill and that is HB1246.
- 3:53This is an interesting bill that would allow employers to pay
- 3:57employees with gold and silver as part of their compensation.
- 4:01So that's what's going on in New Hampshire.
- 4:03Once again, HB, by the way, HB stands for House bill.
- 4:07You might hear from me at some point an SB and that would be a
- 4:10Senate bill. So that's what those those mean.
- 4:14So the New Hampshire once Again HB1246 gang and.
- 4:19And Pat, let me let me let me interject something there.
- 4:22And that's Citizens for Sound Money I know is involved with
- 4:25that one. I also know Daniel Tinkum, who's
- 4:29a regular guest on our show, lives in New Hampshire and he
- 4:32was there testifying as well. Also Adam Van with Alpine Gold
- 4:37Exchange. A lot of people working very
- 4:40hard for this cause in New Hampshire.
- 4:44Yep. And that by the way, that's a
- 4:46really interesting one. And in fact, Senator Eagle in
- 4:50Missouri actually has this incorporated into his bill as
- 4:54well. So, and we'll get into that
- 4:57later. So that's what's going on in New
- 4:58Hampshire, gang. The next state is New Jersey.
- 5:02And actually New Jersey's interesting because I think
- 5:05their bill is done and it's waiting for governor's
- 5:07signature. So this one is Assembly bill,
- 5:13this one's got a different nomenclature, Assembly Bill AB
- 5:175294. But I think this one's done and
- 5:21it's to remove sales tax from gold and silver.
- 5:24Once again gang, seemingly a small deal is extremely
- 5:29important in, you know, in the in effect, because you're moving
- 5:33to gold and silver as legal tender, you cannot have tax on
- 5:36legal tender. So that's in New Jersey.
- 5:40OK. Next state is West Virginia and
- 5:44this one is House Bill 4343 and this one is specifically to make
- 5:51a gold and silver legal tender in the state of state of West
- 5:55Virginia. Forgive me guys, it's a little
- 5:58early in the morning and I haven't had enough coffee yet.
- 6:01OK, I'm going as fast as I can. We've got our Missouri bill and
- 6:06that is actually we've got two of them, but I'm going to
- 6:09concentrate on one. So in Missouri here, the bill
- 6:13that the Missouri Freedom initiative, we are fighting for
- 6:15along with many other grassroots, we're getting a lot
- 6:17of help and that is Senate Bill SB-735.
- 6:23But the bill we're concentrating on right now is the House bill
- 6:27and it is what we call a companion bill.
- 6:29It's an exact copy and that one is HB 1955.
- 6:35And that is kind of a whole enchilada kind of bill.
- 6:39We got a lot going on in that bill, so I'm not going to go
- 6:42into that right now. We'll do that in another episode
- 6:44where we talk about our bill and where we're at with our bill.
- 6:48In fact, maybe we'll do it at the end of this.
- 6:50OK, Next one, Indiana. You folks in Indiana, you guys
- 6:54also have a bill, and this one is to establish legal tender and
- 6:59a bullion depository Indiana. Jump on this.
- 7:03This is a good bill. It's HB 1400 in Indiana, HB 1400
- 7:10once again. It feels a bit like bingo today.
- 7:14OK, so now we're going to Kentucky and Kentucky's bill
- 7:19number is SB105 and they have a companion bill in the house as
- 7:25well. So I need to let you know that
- 7:27one that one is House Bill or HB101 and that is also going for
- 7:34legal tender status for gold and silver in the state of Kentucky.
- 7:38OK, bingo. Bingo.
- 7:40You got bingo. Yeah, I want my You said What?
- 7:42I went to American Silver Eagles.
- 7:44Bingo. Oh, wow.
- 7:45Bring my car. Sorry.
- 7:48Sorry to interrupt. Sorry.
- 7:50I what I what I'm what I what I'm envisioning is everyone has
- 7:54a map of the United States and they're coloring in the states
- 7:57as you're going through them. Pat this is critical.
- 8:01This is critical because silver and gold investors, I mean,
- 8:04these laws matter like they matter to the to the average
- 8:09person who may have some physical silver, physical gold,
- 8:12They matter on a much larger scale as well.
- 8:16And again, maybe we'll touch on that more at the end.
- 8:18I'll let you get back to calling your bingo Your bingo.
- 8:21OK, got you. Next state is Kansas and
- 8:25Kansas's bill number is SB303 and that also is to make gold
- 8:32and silver legal tender in the state of Kansas.
- 8:35So once again, if you're in Kansas, SB303, the guys will
- 8:40talk in the end of this and what you can do if you're in one of
- 8:43these states to support these bills.
- 8:44Next one is Utah, Utah, you say, Pat, Utah's already got it all,
- 8:48they got it all going on. Utah is actually expanding the
- 8:52Species Legal Tender Act. They are the first ones to
- 8:57actually dabble in that specie, define what specie is, what
- 9:01transactable gold and silver is. So we give them a shout out for
- 9:05that because a lot of states have jumped on the bandwagon of
- 9:08that definition specie to include gold backs, gold backs.
- 9:13So this is an important one. So if you're in Utah, it is
- 9:17HB348 that is the bill number. And once again, this is actually
- 9:24an expansion of the Species Legal Tender Act.
- 9:28OK. Next state is Nebraska and
- 9:32Nebraska is eliminating capital gains taxes on gold and silver
- 9:36and also in the same bill rejecting CBD CS and we'll talk
- 9:41about that in a second. Their bill number is LB
- 9:45Legislator Bill LBLB 1305 and that's basically go ahead.
- 9:54Oh, I was gonna say, I just want to tell everyone there's still
- 9:57five more states. So if your state has not yet
- 10:00been called, you still have a chance that you'll you'll you'll
- 10:03get some good. Still have a chance for bingo?
- 10:05Right. A bingo.
- 10:06OK. So, yeah, support the folks in
- 10:08Nebraska that are trying to get that bill passed.
- 10:10If if there's no folks you know of, you can start it yourself.
- 10:14That's support. OK, Next state is Georgia.
- 10:18Georgia is, let's see, taking a step to eliminate capital gains
- 10:22taxes on gold and silver specie. Their bill number is Let's see,
- 10:28House Bill 895. If you're looking to buy gold,
- 10:34silver, or platinum, do yourself a favor and check out Pinbex,
- 10:38the online precious metals bullion dealer and sponsor of
- 10:43Ron's basement. I was a happy customer before
- 10:46they offered to support the channel.
- 10:48You'll find they have the best prices, quality, and service.
- 10:52I think Pinbex is best and you will too.
- 10:56And be sure to tell him that you're from Ron's basement.
- 10:59So that's, let's see in Georgia. OK, next state, Oklahoma.
- 11:06Oklahoma is working to create a relationship with the Texas
- 11:10Bullion Depository. That's what their bill's about.
- 11:14This is exciting stuff. OK, this one's got a bill number
- 11:18of SB 2030, so SB 20-30 in Oklahoma and basically to set up
- 11:25a working relationship with the Texas Bullion Depository.
- 11:30All right, next state, Hawaii. Hawaii is, let's see, is trying
- 11:36to exempt sales taxes from a purchase of retail purchases of
- 11:41gold and silver. Their bill number in Hawaii is
- 11:45HB 1724. OK, on to 2nd to the last state,
- 11:53Wisconsin. Wisconsin was doing stuff last
- 11:56year as well. So Wisconsin is eliminating
- 12:01sales tax on gold and silver bullion, and it looks like
- 12:06that's what they're doing, but it always starts there.
- 12:07If you got sales taxes, their bill number is SB33, an easy one
- 12:12to remember in Wisconsin, SB33 to eliminate sales taxes on gold
- 12:18and silver. All right.
- 12:19And is there a drum roll? Is there any way we could get
- 12:22some kind of drum roll going on? This is this is your last
- 12:25chance. This is your last chance.
- 12:27But, and it's a serious matter. Yeah, I know.
- 12:30It is a serious man. I'm looking for some.
- 12:32You know what? Here, Pat, Hold on.
- 12:34I got something we can do. I'll pull out the gong.
- 12:37OK, there we go. The gong.
- 12:40All right, are we? Ready.
- 12:42Let's do it finally. OK All right.
- 12:48So the last state in that we actually rang the gong for is
- 12:52Iowa. Iowa.
- 12:54OK. So this is a bill to let's see
- 12:58establish state issue gold or silver transactional currency.
- 13:01This is a legal tender bell, and this one is SF&C.
- 13:10That's correct. SFSF 2108 in Iowa.
- 13:16OK. So this is to establish legal
- 13:19tender for gold and silver. OK.
- 13:22So these are the 15 states that I know of and I want to give a
- 13:26quick plug real quick, if you don't mind, Ron.
- 13:30Guys, most of you know I'm really, really busy both with,
- 13:33you know, my activities with the Missouri Freedom initiative and
- 13:37pushing legislation through the state and working other things
- 13:40too and also working a regular job.
- 13:42I want to give a shout out to the 10th Amendment Center and
- 13:45Mike Mahari for actually collating this data on their
- 13:49blog, thetenthamendmentcenter.com.
- 13:52And that makes it really easy for me to find these states.
- 13:56And so at any rate, a big shout out to Mike Mahari at the 10th
- 14:00Amendment Center for, you know, actually just making putting it
- 14:02all in one easy place to get to. That way I don't have to search
- 14:07through state legislation, which anyone can do through Ledgescan,
- 14:10but it is really time consuming. And I and I want to give you a
- 14:14break for a second, Pat. I want to say a couple things,
- 14:17#1. If you think I'm talking to you,
- 14:20the viewer, right now, right? The most important part of this
- 14:24video, if you think that silver and gold is important in terms
- 14:30of getting new laws, new legislation passed, I'm going to
- 14:33ask you to write bingo in the comments section.
- 14:36Then you can even say thank you to Pat Holland for all he's
- 14:39doing to help further these legislative efforts.
- 14:42Let me run through. It's super high speed the list
- 14:46just so everybody can hear it one more time.
- 14:48We have Florida, New Hampshire, New Jersey, West Virginia,
- 14:50Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Utah, Nebraska, Georgia,
- 14:55Oklahoma, Hawaii, Wisconsin and Iowa.
- 14:59That's an impressive list, Pat. It is.
- 15:02It is. It's, and it's important
- 15:04legislation, what may seem on the periphery to some people to
- 15:07be some kind of esoteric embrace of these old chunks of metal
- 15:14that you know that no one respects anymore is actually
- 15:16much, much more important than you could possibly imagine.
- 15:19And I can tell you why. Well, let me, and I want to
- 15:22throw something in. I don't think that Russia is one
- 15:26of the United States and I certainly know that the country
- 15:29of Zimbabwe isn't either. But just yesterday I heard news
- 15:33regarding Russia and how they're using gold to basically skirt
- 15:39all the sanctions that are going on, you know, that have gone on
- 15:41over the last few years dealing with the United Arab Emirates,
- 15:45Iran, all these different countries and using gold to
- 15:48skirt the. I also hear now that Zimbabwe
- 15:52has officially announced that they're going to basically go to
- 15:55a gold standard with their currency now you know, So what I
- 16:00what I want to point out is that you know throughout the world
- 16:03we're seeing this re emergence because it never went completely
- 16:07away. But this re emergence of gold
- 16:09and silver becoming the and not becoming but just reclaiming its
- 16:16rightful place as real money. So as people are are are out
- 16:20sitting out there somewhere in the United States or anywhere in
- 16:24the world they may be watching. It is important that the laws
- 16:29where you live are conducive to you being able to use gold and
- 16:35silver as legal tender. Absolutely.
- 16:38And once again, you you you touched on it and I'm going to
- 16:41finish your thought for you. I think throughout history gang,
- 16:45all Fiat currencies fail. All of them, every single one of
- 16:49them throughout time has failed. There's not a single currency
- 16:52that has technically lasted more than 708090 years, stops before
- 16:59it goes into a hyperinflation, and essentially they have to
- 17:04switch out one currency for another to stabilize their
- 17:06economies. Now everyone knows this from
- 17:09history, but what they may not know is every single time this
- 17:12has happened in history, Gold and silver particular, you know,
- 17:16both of those, not platinum or Palladium in history, but gold
- 17:20and silver have always been there in in between those
- 17:24currencies. People switch their preference
- 17:27from the Fiat currencies to gold and silver coins, something of
- 17:29real intrinsic value. And then you have to remember
- 17:33now, even the powers that be in the countries where the Fiat has
- 17:37failed use gold to measure the old currency against the new.
- 17:42So this is actually part of our history, our heritage.
- 17:46And, and and if you think about this on a worldwide basis, if
- 17:51the world, if the bricks and the bricks plus countries like
- 17:55Zimbabwe, if the world moves toward using gold as money, to
- 18:03put it in simple terms, by default they could almost force
- 18:07the United States, especially with this bifurcation that we're
- 18:10having. The United States could be,
- 18:12whether they like it or not, forced to recognize a
- 18:16revaluation of gold and silver for that matter.
- 18:20Sure. And one thing I want to say,
- 18:22because this happens quite a bit, especially for people
- 18:25who've never gotten involved in it, you know, and you know, the
- 18:27political arena before anyway. But these that we just read off
- 18:32today, these are state bills. These have nothing to do with
- 18:35the federal government. And what you can do to help if
- 18:39you're in one of those 15 states, what you can do is
- 18:42actually call up your state representative, state senator,
- 18:48and support the bill. That's what you do.
- 18:51So I've, you know, for instance, I remember last year where we
- 18:55were talking about Texas's bill and someone literally and it
- 18:59would had something to do with, you know, basically having the
- 19:02bullying depository and then some kind of digital currency to
- 19:05represent the gold and silver. Do you guys remember that bill?
- 19:07I'm sure someone had emailed me and said I have emailed Ted Cruz
- 19:13repeatedly and he says he doesn't know about this and he
- 19:16has nothing to do with it and I don't know what to do.
- 19:19Well, that's because they were emailing a federal senator as
- 19:23opposed to a state senator. So guys, remember this is these
- 19:26are state bills. These have nothing to do with
- 19:28your federal representation. This is not in the federal
- 19:31government at all these. So at any rate, just for those
- 19:34who have never gotten involved before to help eliminate some
- 19:37confusion on the onset, it's just your state.
- 19:41It's just the state. And you can make a difference.
- 19:45Grassroots support of of these bills makes a huge difference.
- 19:50I heard Daniel Diaz talk about, you know the the difference
- 19:53between a phone call, a letter and in person visit that on a on
- 20:00a state level, individual constituents can still make a
- 20:05huge difference. Yep.
- 20:06In fact, I can tell you in Missouri, and once again, I
- 20:10don't have details on any grassroots supporting this stuff
- 20:14in any of the states, except for, of course, Daniel Diaz
- 20:18having to do with, you know, basically New Hampshire as well
- 20:22as Florida. But I could tell you the
- 20:24Missouri Freedom Initiative is here for the Missouri bill.
- 20:27And as you remember last year, I mean, I don't want to talk about
- 20:30it a whole lot because we covered it ad nauseam.
- 20:32We got right up to the finish line and Dean Plocker, the
- 20:36Speaker of the House was holding this bill, the silver and gold
- 20:40bill as leverage to try to control the Senate and it failed
- 20:44and we we lost everything at that point because basically the
- 20:47the government was shut down for pretty much the last two days.
- 20:51So this happens in politics, but I will tell you that we are go,
- 20:56we're taking a different route this year.
- 20:58We're actually going through the House first so we can deal with
- 21:01Dean Plocker, you know, in the House 1st and try and get it
- 21:05done there before we get over to the Senate.
- 21:07So that's why we're concentrating on House Bill
- 21:091955. But we do have a hearing in the
- 21:13House and we have a date. It's February 27th.
- 21:18If you are in the state of Missouri on February 27th, you
- 21:22can actually come and testify before the House Committee
- 21:26financial institutions on our silver and Gold bill.
- 21:30So please keep that in mind. And this happens in all of these
- 21:34states. All of these states have
- 21:35hearings and committees. So be sure to check in and see
- 21:39if there's any hearings coming up for the bills in your state.
- 21:42Showing up to the Capitol and testifying in front of a
- 21:46committee, you know, basically is one of the most important
- 21:50things citizens can do to support their silver and gold
- 21:53legislation. It's not enough to say I love
- 21:56this bill, I like this bill. I like my bright shinies.
- 22:00That is not enough. Explain why you want the bill.
- 22:03Tell them why it's important for your state to actually have
- 22:06this. We'd like to thank our sponsor,
- 22:09First Mining Gold. They're a Canadian gold
- 22:12developer with two world class projects in Canada.
- 22:17They also have a handful of other projects.
- 22:20When you total up all the gold in their resources, it comes to
- 22:24over 12 million oz. They're worth checking out.
- 22:29I'll put a link to the company's website in the description
- 22:32below, and I want to throw in for the viewer, right Whether
- 22:36you're in West Virginia, Missouri, Nebraska, any of these
- 22:3915 states. I guarantee you that if you go
- 22:44to one of your state hearings on this matter, and even if you
- 22:48just go to be present, But if you go and maybe you say a few
- 22:52things, it will be a day that you will remember for the rest
- 22:56of your life. It will, it will, and also it's.
- 23:00It's very important for people to actually start participating
- 23:04in government for other reasons too and that's more along the
- 23:07the Missouri Freedom initiative, what we do in our live streams
- 23:10and trying to take back our state from the rhinos and the
- 23:15squishies, in other words, corporatists.
- 23:17But this is a really important gang.
- 23:20If you're here in the state of Missouri, the 27th, we have a
- 23:23hearing it's at noon at the capitol and then also we have a
- 23:27knock in shock date already picked out and that's March
- 23:3011th. So on March 11th we'll be doing
- 23:33yet yet one another knock and shock operation.
- 23:36That's when we we come to the capitol in huge numbers and we
- 23:39go and talk to legislators individually.
- 23:42This is there is a rally that day too by the way and I'm
- 23:45actually gonna be MC ING the rally so hundreds and hundreds
- 23:50of people show up for these rallies.
- 23:52So people from the Freedom Caucus, people who know like
- 23:55Bill Eigel, Bill Eigel will be Speaking, of course so.
- 23:59And part of this is about getting gold and silver across
- 24:01the finish line. You know Pat and and and I and I
- 24:05want to throw in, you know how important again this legislation
- 24:09is for anyone who's in the silver and gold community.
- 24:12These laws impact your ability to stack and to use your silver
- 24:18and gold. And I just want to add this
- 24:20little bit of commentary as well.
- 24:22One of the most recurring common questions I get from viewers is
- 24:27Ron, do you think that our gold and silver could get confiscated
- 24:32again? It's a common fear within the
- 24:34silver and gold community. Roosevelt confiscated gold in 33
- 24:38and there's been a history. So if you, if you, if you think
- 24:41about this legislation in that context, if you're afraid that
- 24:45your silver and gold could somehow at some point get
- 24:49confiscated, wouldn't you want to get involved and support
- 24:53legislation that on a state by state basis will protect you and
- 24:58will help you know, protect your ability to use silver and gold
- 25:01even as legal tender? Yeah and it by the way, it's
- 25:05great you mentioned that because our bill you know 19 HB 1955 SB
- 25:107:35, we have protections from confiscation in our bill.
- 25:15We we use anti commandeering doctrine, the 10th Amendment, to
- 25:19protect people's right to have gold and silver, to prevent
- 25:23civil asset forfeiture. In other words, confiscation of
- 25:27their gold and silver without due process.
- 25:29That's it. With our bill, you know,
- 25:31basically it wouldn't be possible for them to confiscate
- 25:34in the state of Missouri by 10th Amendment.
- 25:36An anti commandeering doctrine. What?
- 25:38I mean, Ron, the federal government could come in the
- 25:41state of Missouri and try to confiscate, but they're not
- 25:43going to get any help from the Missouri government in any way,
- 25:45shape or form, or any political subdivision thereof.
- 25:49It'd be impossible with our bill.
- 25:51The fines would be huge for anyone in Missouri.
- 25:54That would help the federal government confiscate gold and
- 25:56silver. That includes banks.
- 25:58Interesting, Interesting. Well, Pat, you're you're go
- 26:02ahead. Oh, so I think it's really
- 26:04important that other states consider putting an amendment on
- 26:08their bill if they don't have it to do something very similar to
- 26:11what we've done with ours. How do we do that?
- 26:13You get on Missouri's website, Missouri, the House website, you
- 26:18download a copy of HB 1955 and you give a copy to your senator
- 26:23or your Rep once again, state senator or state rap and say do
- 26:27this, this is what we want to do in our state.
- 26:29Ours is very well thought out, very well written.
- 26:32And in fact, I do believe we owe a little bit of credit to Daniel
- 26:37with the Citizens for Sound money because I do believe a
- 26:40little bit of our language was borrowed from their bill as
- 26:43well. So I'll tell you what, here's
- 26:45the deal in legislation, gang. If you're going to write a piece
- 26:49of legislation, basically someone else has probably done
- 26:53something very similar. And if they've done a good job,
- 26:56steal their words. It's not plagiarism when it
- 26:59comes to legislation. You cannot copyright legislation
- 27:02in the United States of America. And so at any rate, steal from
- 27:07our bill, take it, you know, get something good done in your
- 27:10state. Just like we borrowed from
- 27:12Texas's legislation in the past, and now we borrowed a little bit
- 27:15from Florida's, we've had a lot of stuff of our own.
- 27:18But at the same time, it's something that I want you guys
- 27:22to not be afraid of because legislation cannot be
- 27:25copyrighted. Sounds good.
- 27:28Pat, you are a fan favorite here in Ron's basement.
- 27:31So on behalf of the viewer, I'll say thank you.
- 27:34On behalf of myself, we hope for our viewer that they that they
- 27:39hit bingo on the legal tender legislation bingo card today.
- 27:44But if not, I think you've very clearly explained to people some
- 27:48actions they can take in their state to help further the
- 27:52legislation. If if people want to learn more
- 27:55about you, they go to mofree.org, Is that correct?
- 28:00That's correct, MO. free.org. That is our website, the
- 28:03Missouri Freedom Initiative. We are an organization that
- 28:07basically helps legislation along, but we also root out
- 28:11corruption and expose it, political corruption in our
- 28:15state, no matter where it is, whether it's your mayor or it's
- 28:17your or a governor, I mean, we expose everything that we find
- 28:22because, well, for a whole bunch of different reasons, you have
- 28:25to get rid of corruption in your state.
- 28:27This is the equivalent of draining the swamp.
- 28:30You know, basically we're doing that in the state of Missouri.
- 28:33Stuff like that will probably be in the news at some point.
- 28:36Fortuna Silver Mines is a global intermediate gold and silver
- 28:40producer. Since 2005, Fortuna's best in
- 28:44class management has delivered impressive growth and profits.
- 28:48Fortuna's solid financial position and operational
- 28:52expertise allows for performance in any precious metals price
- 28:56cycle and provides a foundation from which to harvest great
- 29:00profits in more favorable metals markets.
- 29:04Investing in Fortuna is an investment in quality, long
- 29:07term, sustainable production of in demand precious and base
- 29:12metals. But the important thing is we
- 29:16don't take donations. It's everyone who wants to get
- 29:20involved. It's their time and it's their
- 29:22time, and that way we can't be labeled as lobbyists by the very
- 29:27same corrupt individuals in the legislature that we're trying to
- 29:30expose. Interesting, but you certainly
- 29:34qualify in my book as one of the top warriors for legal tender
- 29:39legislation throughout the country.
- 29:42Thank you. Pat.
- 29:43Is there anything I missed? Anything you want to touch on
- 29:45before we sign off? I just want to say to everyone,
- 29:50if you are partaking in this, if you are helping push this
- 29:53legislation through, thank you. It doesn't matter what state.
- 29:58We need Wisconsin to get rid of that sales tax on gold and
- 30:02silver. So folks in Wisconsin, you know,
- 30:04do what you got to do. Hawaii also taking away sales
- 30:08tax from gold and silver. Every single one of these bills
- 30:10is critical. And if you think, oh jeez, my
- 30:13state's not doing a big enchilada bill like Missouri is,
- 30:17that's OK, gang. If you have to go step by step,
- 30:20believe me, it's sometimes very difficult to get these things
- 30:23done. If you have to take the baby
- 30:25step of doing this before you can do that, that's OK as long
- 30:29as you're heading in that direction.
- 30:31Because it doesn't matter what state you're in, a digital
- 30:35centralized currency is coming our way.
- 30:38It's not here right now, but it is coming and we all need
- 30:42protection from that. And that's what this does.
- 30:46So, gang, let's let's get to work.
- 30:48Let's roll up our sleeves and make sure that our states are as
- 30:50free as humanly possible, especially when it comes to
- 30:53transactable currency. Sounds great, Pat.
- 30:56Thank you. And we will look forward to
- 30:59seeing you again soon here in the basement.
- 31:01You bet. Thank you for having me back,
- 31:02Ron. God bless you, ma'am.
- 31:03See you, Smitty.
