Transcript
- 0:03Jasmine, oolong, green and white.
- 0:07Long ago, these four tees were skilfully brewed at the Blissful Brew.
- 0:11Then everything changed when the shop's popularity threatened its existence.
- 0:17All Mr.
- 0:17Okran, the shop's owner and teammaster, could do was to recruit four teenage orphans to learn his trade and staff his shop.
- 0:26A year has passed since the orphans were hired and although their skills have progressed, they still have a lot to learn before they can brew anything.
- 0:34But I believe that they have the potential to make the Blissful Brew the greatest tea shop in the world.
- 0:40Last time on Benders and Brews an Avatar Legends podcast you find very large nice house and on the decorative mailbox it says Shifu family.
- 0:52And I knock on the door.
- 0:53A man dressed in a long robe says, welcome to the Shifu.
- 0:59My name is Sahasjar.
- 1:01You mentioned something about some sort of t deal that the Master and the Mysteries have ordered for the party tonight.
- 1:09Yeah, there's a miscommunication.
- 1:11Maybe I could retrieve the order form and if you want to write notes on it and I could have it sent off to the Master wherever he's at.
- 1:17My he's out of the room and pickpotted King, their couch cushion.
- 1:23He comes in and he hands you a sheet of paper.
- 1:25It is a tea ordering form from some company called Hot Leaf Juice.
- 1:31Oh, hey there Mr.
- 1:32Got a squid delivery.
- 1:34I walk around the house, try and find any sort of storm doors.
- 1:38Yeah, you do find a kind of a storm cellar.
- 1:41I want to go in there.
- 1:42I try to just smash the lot and I try to go in through and close the door behind me.
- 1:46There was a problem with the Hot Leaf Juice not having all the proper tea that they needed, so that they needed our help.
- 1:54The Blissful Brew to kind of restock what they have and you guys give us the rest of the payment.
- 2:00So he writes that down and he says, I will have this mailed off right away.
- 2:06This is stuck in the basement.
- 2:08Who is Hot leaf juice? How will the Master and mistress use this squid? And then the real question will Broccoli ever get out of knock there to enjoy this time with his new friend.
- 2:21Hello, everyone, and welcome to Benders and Bruises and Avatar.
- 2:26I guess there's a little bit more to that.
- 2:27A non canonical Avatar legends, real play.
- 2:29Podcast.
- 2:30It's important to say that because we come up with some pretty crazy stuff and sometimes we get a little bit of inspiration from the show and sometimes we very much mess with the inspiration we get from the show.
- 2:41And also sometimes we just don't use certain things from the show.
- 2:44I digress.
- 2:45My name is Skylar Corsa and I am the game Master, creating the story alongside my co writer Nick Van something who's not here today.
- 2:53I'm not going to try it with his last name anymore.
- 2:56I think it's person.
- 2:58It's like person with an M.
- 3:00I don't know.
- 3:00He doesn't like it.
- 3:01Anyway, it's not that I'm still wrong.
- 3:03Are you kidding me? Oh, my gosh.
- 3:05Maybe we should just call him Dr.
- 3:07Nick.
- 3:09Nick.
- 3:09I kind of like that.
- 3:11No, he has his doctorate, doesn't he call it he deals in medicine, doesn't he? He's a quack quack.
- 3:20Nick.
- 3:21All right, anyways, and of course, I'm here with all of my players who are going to introduce themselves and their character as we do every episode to remind you who the heck we are.
- 3:32Mikayla go.
- 3:35I'm Mika.
- 3:38And your character's name is Mika.
- 3:41Yes.
- 3:42So we have Mika playing Mika.
- 3:45Cameron.
- 3:48Yeah.
- 3:48Hi, I'm Cameron.
- 3:49I'm playing Bill Dordor.
- 3:52Dave.
- 3:54I'm Dave playing GuoHan the adamant.
- 3:58Yes.
- 4:01Okay.
- 4:05I'm playing broccoli.
- 4:06The Earthbending Hammer.
- 4:08Nice.
- 4:09So, kicking things off today with your character questions to get to know your characters just a little bit better.
- 4:17What is each of your characters favorite music, like genre or favorite musical instruments? Since it kind of was like more like eto, period.
- 4:30Not everything is a band.
- 4:31You know, like sometimes you're just like yeah, I just enjoy the sound of the violin or something.
- 4:37Mika's favorite instrument is the girl.
- 4:42I was going to say the mouth harp.
- 4:44The mouth harp.
- 4:45I don't know why, I just love the mouth harpa.
- 5:03I was just going to say she must have spent some time in the foggy harmonica.
- 5:06So that's totally actually, no, I like the Twainy mouth harmonica.
- 5:12I think that fits to me.
- 5:15Sure.
- 5:16All right.
- 5:17Bill Door.
- 5:18So the reason I was thinking about that is I'm the flip.
- 5:22Bill Door's favorite instrument is the harp.
- 5:25Oh, the regular one? Yes.
- 5:26He does not know how to play it.
- 5:27No, that's okay.
- 5:28His mother used to play it all the time when he grew up.
- 5:31All right.
- 5:32Much more sentimental.
- 5:38I mean, I pay a very small amount to listen to it for a very short amount of time, probably.
- 5:45But I'll try anything that's legal.
- 5:50We can really help out with that.
- 5:53Again, does not know how to play.
- 5:56I think what you guys are saying is that you're bringing back the block party idea.
- 6:02GuoHan, what do you listen to? GuoHan suggested he's a fan of the Columbia.
- 6:12Kind of like a music box you can play.
- 6:14Yeah, I've heard of those before.
- 6:16Very.
- 6:17But back in the carnival with a fortune teller's booth they had somebody would play that kind of behind the curtain, out of view to that mystical atmosphere.
- 6:29Absolutely.
- 6:31His other favorite instrument, unofficially, when he's in the back room of the tea shop, he likes a good old two spoons of himself.
- 6:44While he's washing, he likes to do a little see those pair well with the mouth harp.
- 6:48That's right.
- 6:49I thought you were going to say that he likes to use the squid leg as strength and make his own kind of harp.
- 6:57That's weird.
- 7:00They're able to come up with that, but you don't want to come up with your own instrument, huh? Okay.
- 7:04That's how PETA comes out.
- 7:08Broccoli, what is your favorite either musical instrument or music to listen to? I would say that broccoli's favorite music is he doesn't play much himself, but he will always stop to listen to the traveling nomad band whenever they come into town.
- 7:28And if anything, he didn't have much growing up, but he always had a washboard handy.
- 7:34Okay, so he is a skilled washboard player.
- 7:38Did he wash a lot of clothing? And he just kind of was like, wait a minute, I hear something here.
- 7:44Yeah, he's got a little bit of rhythm.
- 7:47All right.
- 7:48Sometimes when global comes back from clearing off a table, he's tapping his spoons together, and then Broccoli is washing those dishes.
- 7:57He starts getting into it, and then Lizzie busts out her mouth harmonica her mouth harp guy.
- 8:06I don't know how to explain that.
- 8:09I think it's pretty easy if a washboard or professional washboarder gave it up, and they'd be a washed up washboarder.
- 8:26All right, so last where we left off, bill door, you came in while they were downstairs, right.
- 8:31And you were just kind of wandering about the house, more or less.
- 8:35No, I ran into Mika in the front.
- 8:37Yeah, but I'm just saying, like, you kind of let yourself in.
- 8:40Yeah, the door was wide open.
- 8:41Yeah.
- 8:42So you let yourself in, you talk to Mika a little bit, and then where are you now? In the kitchen making a sandwich.
- 8:49You're in the kitchen making a sandwich.
- 8:51Okay.
- 8:51So as you're in the kitchen making the sandwich, that's when you see the butler walk by with GuoHan.
- 9:00The two of them are talking, so he's really focused on GuoHan about the squid and stuff like that.
- 9:05Grohan leaves.
- 9:07You hear meka? Leave.
- 9:09You're in the house.
- 9:10As far as you know, you're in the house on your own with the butler somewhere.
- 9:14I know Mica left.
- 9:15I heard that she said buy and left.
- 9:17Yes, correct.
- 9:19So what are you doing? Is my sandwich done? Tell me what you found that you've made this sandwich out of.
- 9:31There are fridges in this world.
- 9:33I went to an ice box.
- 9:35Yes, an ice box.
- 9:36I went to an ice box, and I found some meat.
- 9:38Okay, what kind of meat? Tell me.
- 9:41It was not squid.
- 9:43They ordered it.
- 9:44They needed it, so they were fresh out.
- 9:46Clearly, the squid was for the aquarium.
- 9:50That's right.
- 9:51The basket didn't go to the ice box.
- 9:53He went too.
- 9:54And I got a big thing of ham.
- 9:56Ham.
- 9:57I sliced a knife, and I sliced off some ham, and I got the cheese block, sliced off some cheese, found some bread and myself.
- 10:04A ham sandwich.
- 10:06I'm eating a ham sandwich in the kitchen.
- 10:09Okay.
- 10:09I imagine Bill door was leaning against just leaning against a wall, just eating a ham sandwich.
- 10:17And then he heard Mika say bye, and he heard the door shut.
- 10:21And that's when he would then exit the kitchen where walking towards the front door.
- 10:27Okay, so you start walking towards the front door.
- 10:31You see the butler closing the door behind Mika as she's exiting.
- 10:36Yeah.
- 10:37Can you get that for me? What? Who are you? I'm Mika's bodyguard.
- 10:48What? Who's mika.
- 10:52What? Wait, did you tell him your name? I'm trying to remember.
- 10:55She said Mika.
- 10:56I said Mika.
- 10:57Oh, Nika.
- 10:58Did you say nica? I said Mika with an M.
- 11:01Yeah.
- 11:02Who is this Mika? I don't know.
- 11:05Amica, she's not here.
- 11:07You're not bodyguarding her very well if you're here and she's not, she just left.
- 11:12That's why I'm leaving.
- 11:14You shouldn't know I was here.
- 11:15That's how good I am.
- 11:17I mean, I suppose I didn't, but that wasn't Mika.
- 11:20That was an Mika.
- 11:21That's what I said.
- 11:23Oh.
- 11:24Now can you get the door for me? I can let myself out.
- 11:28No, I opened the door.
- 11:31I would rather have known.
- 11:33Why would a tea shop employee have a bodyguard? Well, her family is kind of important.
- 11:42She just works on the tea shop on the side, internship kind of thing.
- 11:47Responsibilities, you know.
- 11:49Yeah, teaching responsibilities.
- 11:51I don't know where I heard that from, but I had the idea in my head that she's learning the ropes of being a tea shop.
- 12:00Well, I just have to say I wish she would have told me that she had a bodyguard that was coming in with her without my knowledge.
- 12:08Oh, well, she doesn't really like me being around.
- 12:11Well, now you just sound kind of like a stalker.
- 12:14Well, no, because her dad hired me.
- 12:17Now you sound like a parental paid stalker.
- 12:22Yeah, that's my job.
- 12:25Fair enough.
- 12:26If you don't mind, I have to be going.
- 12:28She's clearly getting a head start on me.
- 12:32Okay, please.
- 12:33And Bill door grabs his post after he had just sitting by the front door, and then he just I was wondering he just starts to walk out, starts walking away, turns around and nods his head at the butler, and it keeps going.
- 12:47The butler looks kind of confused still, but he just kind of gives you a quick nod back and shakes his head and then closes the door behind Bill door, and then Builder runs to catch up to them.
- 12:59All right? And I assume that GuoHan.
- 13:06You meet up with Mika as she's making her way down the path.
- 13:10Yeah, by hurry to catch up to or down the block.
- 13:13Okay, GuoHan runs up to you and catches up.
- 13:20And then moments after, Bill door rushes up, and he's behind you guys now.
- 13:24So you guys are all in your little crew.
- 13:28Mica, what did you find out in there? Oh, you know, all of this and all of that.
- 13:35Oddly specific.
- 13:36So we're getting the money? Yeah, we're getting some of the money.
- 13:43Some of the money? How's that going to work? Well, we're delivering half of our tea.
- 13:50Oh, really? Yeah.
- 13:52That'll help things out, I think, to the people having that big party, then.
- 14:01Yeah, for them people? Yeah, the people who are like, oh, yeah, we'll take tea from you.
- 14:08Oh, just kidding.
- 14:10You're not good enough.
- 14:13We're delivering half of our titles.
- 14:15Yeah.
- 14:18That old man, he's a pretty good friend.
- 14:20I don't think he's a jerk.
- 14:22He's nice.
- 14:23The butler? Yeah, he's cool.
- 14:26I made him cry.
- 14:27He bought a squid from me.
- 14:29Cry.
- 14:31I lied to him.
- 14:34We've all had interaction with the old guy, the old butler guy.
- 14:41He's been a part of all of our lives at this point.
- 14:44Hey, where's Brock? And just as you say that meanwhile, in the Shifu resident basement, brock Lee looks around and finds that he is alone in the dark underbelly of the Shifu pseudo mansion.
- 15:05Broccoli.
- 15:07I started to explore the downstairs basement and stumble upon the newly made squid aquarium.
- 15:15Yes.
- 15:16And I look at it, and I was like, hey, isn't that the squid that Guaja just bought? I wonder what it's doing down here.
- 15:23So earthbends.
- 15:25A little makeshift box, scooping up the squid.
- 15:29Okay, make a lid for it.
- 15:31It's back to where it was on different hands.
- 15:34I now have the squid in my possession.
- 15:36All right.
- 15:38That you do.
- 15:40I suppose I will just go back out the way I came, actually.
- 15:45Are there any other spots in the basement that haven't been explored yet, or is it sort of been well, honestly, not really.
- 15:52Any of the basement has been explored yet.
- 15:54There are some rooms in there that you notice, but the only thing that you know is that obviously there wouldn't be any exit through any of these rooms.
- 16:03But there are some rooms down there.
- 16:05One of them especially has a door that's just you can tell that it's open ever so slightly.
- 16:10So it's obviously not locked because there's a crack.
- 16:13Can I go check out that one room, which is a cracked door? Yeah.
- 16:17All right.
- 16:18So you step inside, and it's quite dark in here.
- 16:23The sconces are mostly outside in the main area of the basement.
- 16:27Those are the ones that are lit up.
- 16:29So there is a Scotch in here, but it's not currently lit.
- 16:32I suppose I can't conjure up anything to make fire, can I? Not necessarily.
- 16:36It's not a fire bender.
- 16:38But as you kind of like the little bit that you can see, there's some desks and some other things.
- 16:45You notice that to your left there's some bookshelves.
- 16:50And then to your right, this is just directly inside the room, like, through the door.
- 16:54Just a little bit of light that they'll seek through.
- 16:56There's the bookshelves on the left, and then on the right side, there seems to be just kind of a little desk area.
- 17:03And you notice there's a stick of incense.
- 17:06It's not lit, obviously, but it's just kind of sticking out of, like, a little pot.
- 17:10You know how some people have some and then they'll bite them and then set them in the pot so that it can so you do see that.
- 17:16And you know that those can typically hold an ember to some extent.
- 17:23Could I take one of those incense and strike it on the ground with that? I don't think that would light it, but like I mentioned before, there are some sconces in the main section of the basement.
- 17:36Oh, yeah.
- 17:36Can I just grab one of those? Yeah.
- 17:40They don't come off the wall.
- 17:41They're, like, attached to the wall.
- 17:43But you can take the incense.
- 17:46I'll take the incense sticks and just let a few of them and then from Wisconsin, and I'll just walk back inside and explore there.
- 17:54Okay.
- 17:54Sounds good.
- 17:55So the intense is just an FYI as a very cinnamon smell.
- 18:00So it's fairly strong.
- 18:02Not like off puttingly strong, but I'm just saying, I mean, you catch it pretty quick.
- 18:07It smells like cinnamon in here.
- 18:09And so you light them up, and then you take them on over to the Scots and the room, and you light that up, and it looks to be some sort of a study.
- 18:20Can I check the desk to see if there's any more money or information about this tea shop? Sure.
- 18:26You take a look over at the main desk, and sure enough, there is a note sitting there and a small stack of I guess that's right, we use coins.
- 18:37So there is a small pouch, I suppose, of Yuan sitting there.
- 18:46I want to just be in and out quick.
- 18:47So can I grab the note and the sack of you on and just cut my loss? Yeah, absolutely.
- 18:56I'm going to have you roll a push your lock.
- 18:59Okay.
- 19:00Because as you are exploring inside of here, after having lit the incense, you start to hear the sound of footsteps as they're kind of coming towards you, and you hear, what did I invite? Incense burning.
- 19:17Push your luck.
- 19:18Does that fall under what does that fall under? Creativity.
- 19:22Falls under passion.
- 19:24Yeah.
- 19:25Okay, so I have a plus one in passion.
- 19:27Okay, perfect.
- 19:28So I need what is it? Seven? Yes.
- 19:31Okay.
- 19:35Twelve.
- 19:36Nice.
- 19:36That's like an ultra success.
- 19:38Okay, so you grab the paper, and you snuff out the incense.
- 19:44You snuff out the light.
- 19:45You run up to the door.
- 19:46You open it, you escape through.
- 19:48You've got the paper, the money pouch.
- 20:01I must be having a stroke because I'm smelling things that I shouldn't.
- 20:06And then you hear them walking back upstairs.
- 20:08Awesome.
- 20:09So now you're outside.
- 20:10All right, so I just go try and catch up with the group sure.
- 20:13And let them know what I found.
- 20:15And I still have the squid, and I want to turn on.
- 20:19You rush up to the group, you've got the squid, the note.
- 20:23Do you show them the money pouch or I'll hang on to the money pouch.
- 20:26Okay, so you keep the money pouch in your pocket or what have you, and you rush up to them so you see them not too far away.
- 20:35Hey, have you guys seen Brock? Yeah, he's over there.
- 20:43Okay.
- 20:45Well, there he is running down the road.
- 20:49What's that in his hand? You have to pay up your end of the bargain.
- 20:54What's that in his hand? Like, that's more important than pressing than that.
- 21:03It looks like a flyer's arm, too.
- 21:13I got the squid back.
- 21:14Look at that.
- 21:16That's pretty cool.
- 21:17There's a squid up, and we got to give this little guy a name.
- 21:19Yes.
- 21:21This is a lot more important than whatever silly bet we made earlier.
- 21:25What bet are you talking about? I was trying to name squid Gilbert Dilbert.
- 21:29I like that.
- 21:35That was the easiest, fastest, like, naming of anything in an RPG I've ever heard before.
- 21:41Dilbert.
- 21:41Dilbert.
- 21:42Hey, sometimes names fit.
- 21:44I guess so.
- 21:45That's true.
- 21:46Sometimes they're better than other planes.
- 21:48I would have named him Gilbert, but as we know, squids breathe air.
- 21:53We can't have Gil.
- 21:56We learned that last time.
- 21:57That's amazing.
- 21:58But I also found this flyer.
- 22:00I haven't opened it yet, but I found this on a desk.
- 22:03I'm trying to find out what it is, though.
- 22:07Oh, okay.
- 22:10Do you read it, or do you hand it to somebody else to read? I'm just curious.
- 22:15I feel like this is an opportunity to learn a little bit about Brock.
- 22:17I don't know.
- 22:19I'll read it.
- 22:21Okay.
- 22:22I don't know.
- 22:23I've played in RPGs where someone was very adamant about my character is not a read.
- 22:27My character does not wonder which player always has characters.
- 22:31I'll say that Brock is able to read, but he's the kind of guy that, when he's reading to himself, his ellipse will move with, oh, okay.
- 22:39So he'll silently be reading it, but he'll be like, yeah, I got the sense when Brock entered the studies that he didn't really have a lot of experience with that.
- 22:51Yeah, he's very turned off by books.
- 22:53Sure.
- 22:54All that sort of jargon.
- 22:58I just grabbed the money and left some might say jargon.
- 23:01All right, awesome.
- 23:02So you start reading through the note, and basically you notice that it is also signed.
- 23:07And I don't know if you're you said you're reading this to yourself, but you're going to just give them the highlights.
- 23:13I'll give them, like, a summary of it.
- 23:14Okay, so you read through it.
- 23:17Mika, you noticed as he's reading through it that it's got the same stamp from the Hot Leaf Juice Company, and the note outlines the basic gist of what it's saying is, we appreciate your assistance in choosing the Hot Leaf juice for your party instead of the competition in your area.
- 23:49Here is the promised rebate from your order.
- 23:53The rest will follow after the proceedings of tonight's event.
- 23:58Wait, time out.
- 24:02It's not the deal I struck with the butler.
- 24:06This was something, a separate one.
- 24:12Is there a return address on this note? There is.
- 24:18It is in Bossingsei.
- 24:24It is like a section of the city in Bossingsei.
- 24:28Okay, but that is the hot leaf juice return address.
- 24:32Yes.
- 24:33Okay, and is there a date on this that lets us know when this was? When it was done? Yes, it was done about two weeks ago.
- 24:44Okay, and how long ago was our order canceled? About two weeks ago.
- 24:50Okay.
- 24:52All right.
- 24:53So do I need to repeat that to the party? Yeah, you just tell yeah, that's fine.
- 24:59Okay.
- 24:59Yeah, you give them a basic rundown.
- 25:01So any thoughts on the next steps there? Okay, before we get too far into that deal, we have another deal because Bill is ignoring me.
- 25:15It's so frustrating.
- 25:23we're going all the way to Boston? Gilbert hasn't grown his traveling lakes yet.
- 25:29Right? Why do we have to go to Boston safe when they're going to be in town for the party tonight? But guys, you guys are missing out on a big deal over here.
- 25:41Yeah, poke around is going to lose the shop.
- 25:44Yeah, it's a pretty big deal.
- 25:46So this party, we got to figure out where this is.
- 25:50Did you guys figure out anything when you were inside? Yeah, you were getting fully friendly.
- 25:55Half of the tea to the party tonight.
- 26:11wait, I already said the number of the house.
- 26:14Yeah.
- 26:22What city in this city? Okay, we had to maybe start making our way over to 45th street.
- 26:32We can try and in those close.
- 26:35What street are we on? You guys are on Shifu Road.
- 26:40That's not a number.
- 26:42They're not all numbers.
- 26:44Why would we be going to this address when we need to get the tea ready to be shipped? Because right now we have a deal and they're expecting half of the tea to come be delivered.
- 26:55Well, they're not expecting it.
- 26:56The hot leaf juice is expecting to make the full order.
- 26:58We just lied to Sebastian.
- 27:01But the Shang family shifu.
- 27:04Shifu family signed while the butler said that.
- 27:11Yes.
- 27:11Go ahead.
- 27:12Bring half the food.
- 27:13We got it.
- 27:14I'll give it to the Shifu family.
- 27:15So they're going to be expecting half of the tea to be delivered from us.
- 27:19I don't think they'll get that note until they come back from the party.
- 27:23What if we just went there and just claim that we brought half of it when it's all just hot leaf juice stuff? So we go and steal half of hot leaf juices stuff and then bring it.
- 27:38Mr.
- 27:39Okra on, stickers on it and claim half of their own.
- 27:44That way we don't have to really do the transportation.
- 27:46They're going to do that all for us.
- 27:47But we have all of the expensive tea.
- 27:50Thank you.
- 27:51Mr.
- 27:51Ocaron said that we can't sell because it's for rich families and not everyone at our tea shop is going to buy them.
- 27:57We could run the special.
- 27:59So it's just going to go bad? Yeah, but we're still going to make money.
- 28:03Tea is just dried leaves that doesn't go bad.
- 28:06Yeah, that's a group of old guys that comes in like every week.
- 28:09They love specials.
- 28:10We give them a two for one special call it good.
- 28:14You want me to make a squid heart? I got two for one special.
- 28:22I mean, we did get quite a bit of money at this place.
- 28:25We could at least drop the money and dilbert off at the tea shop while we figure out got to make sure dilbert is all good.
- 28:33He's not going anywhere without us.
- 28:35Pride and joy.
- 28:36You're going to take a box of water and squid allowing to you to a party or to wherever you got to go.
- 28:43Boxes of squid can get you anywhere.
- 28:45It's like a clipboard of this world.
- 28:48You can get anywhere in the world with a clipboard if you have enough confidence.
- 28:52And I feel just having a box with square and it's going to be the same.
- 28:55Yeah, I would agree with that.
- 28:57I mean, most places allow clipboards in them, so I suppose you could pretty much go anywhere with a clipboard.
- 29:03I mean, why else would you show up to a place with a box with a squid in it unless if you had a reason to be there, place the box with the squid in it.
- 29:10That is a pretty like it's kind of one of those things like that was too specific to deny kind of a thing.
- 29:18I suppose that makes sense.
- 29:19That's a good character.
- 29:20Anyway.
- 29:20Okay, so you guys are walking down the path.
- 29:22Where are you guys headed to right now? 45th street or are we heading to Mr.
- 29:26Ocarons? Well, we can go to Ocarons, 45th street or they're still the coyote boars.
- 29:30Yeah, we just go beat them up.
- 29:31I'm still down for that plan to beat them up with a box of dilbert.
- 29:35Yeah, I like that plan.
- 29:37Originally.
- 29:49drop and Dilbert's consumer probably is not watertight.
- 29:56It must be watertight because they made it and they put air holes in it.
- 30:03Well, he doesn't need air holes.
- 30:04We talked about that.
- 30:06He does need air holes.
- 30:08That's what Bill Dor said three quarters of the way.
- 30:12So he's got water and he's got a little slash.
- 30:14Remove it.
- 30:21Pay no attention to what's rattling.
- 30:23But I feel like it's still not watertight.
- 30:25So therefore there will be a coat drops that would escape.
- 30:28Yeah, the air holes.
- 30:33Because you won't listen to me.
- 30:37You bend some water out and you slap the door with it and then you put it back.
- 30:45No, it just falls to the ground.
- 30:48Heartless doesn't even care about dilbert.
- 30:51That was Dilbert's water.
- 30:52It was already drooping out.
- 30:55I can't believe this.
- 30:56Why did you even splash me with Dilbert's water? Listening to me about what? I think we're all decided we're going back to Mr.
- 31:04Ocraft.
- 31:05What deal about where you clean the bathrooms for a month? I don't remember this deal at all.
- 31:11You said, you are going to need something done with the shoe on family.
- 31:14And I said, yeah, I will.
- 31:15Watch me and Shifu family.
- 31:21I don't remember this deal.
- 31:23Do you guys remember this deal? I have no idea what you're talking about.
- 31:27Gohan.
- 31:28You guys literally told Mr.
- 31:30Okoron about it before we left.
- 31:32I don't think we've had a single conversation with them.
- 31:35Is there a document with all of this on it? We just wanted to double check the bathroom schedule for the next month.
- 31:40That was it.
- 31:40Yeah, I just have a bathroom schedule.
- 31:42I got bathroom duty this next weekend.
- 31:44Actually.
- 31:52I tried the Barter give, Mika a couple of times of your month.
- 31:57Yeah, I just got to take one for the team.
- 31:59I understand.
- 32:00Apparently you've been taking one for the team for the last three months.
- 32:06Hi, everyone.
- 32:07I just wanted to take a quick break to share something really special with all of you.
- 32:11We recently got our first review on itunes from Corsa and they said I love listening to Live Play podcasts and I was interested in finding one for this game.
- 32:21So I was incredibly stoked to find this one.
- 32:23It's not too far into the show yet, but the players in DM have a great chemistry and the characters they've created are interesting and dynamic so far.
- 32:32It's a really fun listen and I'm excited to continue following the story.
- 32:36Great job, bros.
- 32:38I just want to say on behalf of all of the cast and myself, a massive thank you to Cory Sari for taking the time to say these kind words.
- 32:46It really means a lot to all of us to see that our show and all our hard work is being enjoyed by all of you.
- 32:53So if you're also enjoying the show and you have the ability, it would be amazing if you could take a quick moment to leave us a review on itunes.
- 33:02Any and all feedback is welcome and helps us to not only promote the show, but also helps us to make the show better and more enjoyable for all of you.
- 33:11So if you're able, we'd really appreciate it if you would be willing to take the time to drop a review for us on itunes or even share the podcast with your friends.
- 33:21Thanks again and let's get back.
- 33:23To the show.
- 33:27All right, so after a few minutes, you finally make it back to the Blissful Brew.
- 33:33Mr.
- 33:33Okuran is inside.
- 33:35Cainean yeah, that's what they said.
- 33:40You step inside and yeah, I'm done.
- 33:43But we can at least drop off the money that we got.
- 33:46And Dilbert, we don't want him in the way.
- 33:48Yeah, you step inside and Mr.
- 33:51Ocaran is catering to some of the customers, well, all the customers there.
- 33:56And he sees you guys, and he sits down the TS, and he thinks the customers that he's working with at the moment.
- 34:00And then he rushes over and he goes, oh, so how did it go with the Shifu family? Do you have any stickers or stamps or something? I might have some stamps, yeah.
- 34:13Just so people know it's your product and not someone else's.
- 34:16You mean like branding stuff? Yes.
- 34:19I've got a number of different little pieces that I've got a thing I can burn stuff into or for pressing stuff, the design into.
- 34:31Ink.
- 34:32Can I just borrow this? Do you need all of them? Just the ink.
- 34:37Just the ink.
- 34:38Okay.
- 34:38The stamp one would work.
- 34:40You remember that they're going to dirt to the grindstone mass marketing idea you had? Yeah, we're going to do that.
- 34:48All right.
- 34:49Okay.
- 34:49And he builds our winks with the rest of the group.
- 34:53And then he's like yeah, and he rushes over.
- 34:56He's got, like, just behind the counter where the money boxes and stuff like that.
- 35:00And he comes back and he hands you this at all pad with the ink.
- 35:04And then there's the stamp so you can stamp it in the ink and then stamp it on something.
- 35:09Does anyone in our group have a satchel or like a bag or something? Yeah, Guilhan does.
- 35:15Okay.
- 35:15So he grabs it and hands it to Gohan.
- 35:18Okay.
- 35:18Because he doesn't have any.
- 35:19All right.
- 35:20GuoHan.
- 35:20You have this blissful.
- 35:22Bruce dance.
- 35:23Suddenly you hear the sound of glass shattering from inside the Blissful Brew.
- 35:29What, followed by a bunch escaped by a drone, followed by a group of what you can only assume is the customers inside.
- 35:44rush inside.
- 35:45Yeah.
- 35:46All right.
- 35:46You guys rush inside.
- 35:47Mr.
- 35:48Okra standing there looking very surprised.
- 35:50There's a rock on the ground that seems to have been thrown in through one of the windows.
- 35:59That's funny.
- 36:00It's very funny for this tragic situation we're in.
- 36:03There seems to be a note attached to the rock.
- 36:08This reminds me of a joke I wrote.
- 36:11You're going to flip it over and the notes going to say, fix your window, stupid.
- 36:17Gohan goes over.
- 36:18He grabs the note.
- 36:21It's about drive, it's about power.
- 36:25He says that or the note says that.
- 36:28Okay, two people have said what they think this note is going to say.
- 36:31Who's next? I think you guys are just standing around like theorizing out loud what you think the note says.
- 36:38Go on.
- 36:39I think it's going to say it's about drive.
- 36:41And then Mr.
- 36:55everything.
- 36:55Everyone has their strings in reading it.
- 37:07Okay.
- 37:08I have to sing it because it's the lyrics.
- 37:10I go back to the back room to see if Dilbert's okay.
- 37:14Dilbert looks completely like literally unaware of anything that's going on outside of his immediate little he's like lounging in the sink.
- 37:24Nice to be assistant.
- 37:26He's washing right now.
- 37:27It's cold water right next to the alcoholic tea we've created.
- 37:32He's washing bra created in the sink.
- 37:34He's just lounging and washing dishes with two of his tentacles.
- 37:44He takes after his dad.
- 37:47Oh, you're not a dishwasher.
- 37:55He takes after his dad's.
- 37:57Plural stepdaddy.
- 38:08Okay, then you sing it here.
- 38:10I'll message it to you.
- 38:30I'm inserting it for you.
- 38:34I know, but I can't do it with what you're with.
- 38:42Sell us the shop orals by you know who.
- 38:47That's the artist.
- 38:48The artist formerly known as you know who.
- 38:50You know they cannot be named.
- 38:55Said what? Sellers to shop or else it's a great song by Queen no, it's by You Know Who.
- 39:04I look at Mr.
- 39:05Okuron and I say, well, who's? You know who.
- 39:08Apparently they're a great band.
- 39:11I recently had somebody tried to offer to buy the shop from me.
- 39:15They were very adamant about it.
- 39:17Why do they want the shop? So getting swallowed by by loan sharks.
- 39:25Maybe it was the loan sharks.
- 39:28So is that who you know who was? I fear it's somebody from my past.
- 39:36Can you give us the backstory? He was looking off into the distance as he said that somebody from my past.
- 39:44We can't see your flashback.
- 39:45See IRS.
- 39:46Yeah, he was having a whole flashback.
- 39:49He's just staring off.
- 39:51They're back to get me.
- 40:01No, he says it's my old employer hot leaf juice.
