- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what he said.
- 0:01Speaker 2: That's what he said.
- 0:03Speaker 1: That's what he said.
- 0:05Speaker 2: That's what he said. For all you sickos out there.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Zach Wheeler had a rim moved and he's keeping it.
- 0:18Speaker 3: What do we want to take it out the first ripe? Yeah? Uh,
- 0:24Speaker 3: Paul preserved it for me. Uh, you have to like
- 0:28Speaker 3: do a bunch of stuff to it. So I guess,
- 0:29Speaker 3: I don't know something to guess it doesn't decay, I don't know.
- 0:32Speaker 3: But he did that for me, and I just have
- 0:35Speaker 3: it sitting.
- 0:35Speaker 4: At the house. We're in the house.
- 0:39Speaker 3: That's in my closet. No, it's just like in Uh,
- 0:45Speaker 3: it's like a little case.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Why'd you want to keep it?
- 0:49Speaker 3: I think probably everybody they give it to you after
- 0:52Speaker 3: the surgery. And so the doctor walked in. He was like,
- 0:55Speaker 3: usually I give these two people like a month or
- 0:58Speaker 3: a month later, like a week eight or something. I
- 1:00Speaker 3: forget what exactly you said, but he's like, I wanted
- 1:02Speaker 3: to give it to you personally. So he just walked
- 1:04Speaker 3: in and gave it to me like in a bag.
- 1:05Speaker 3: That's pretty great.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Zach Whaler has his rib and if his house ever
- 1:12Speaker 2: gets searched, they're gonna be like, wait, a second.
- 1:15Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, Okay. What's weird about this is
- 1:17Speaker 1: we talked about the hamdmates yesterday and I talked about
- 1:20Speaker 1: handmade surgery.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah, did you get your bone?
- 1:22Speaker 1: No, that's the story I'm gonna tell. So when they
- 1:24Speaker 1: did my surgery, they didn't put me under well, they
- 1:27Speaker 1: just kind of you lay on a table in your arms.
- 1:29Speaker 1: They just numb your arm. So you can't why it was.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It was early. I had like seven in the morning,
- 1:33Speaker 1: so I just went to sleep. Well, I woke up
- 1:34Speaker 1: in the middle of the surgery and I'm talking to
- 1:36Speaker 1: the doctor. He's like, oh, you're awake. I'm like yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 1: He's like, you know it's going well, We're almost done.
- 1:41Speaker 1: There's not a long surgery. And I was like, oh, yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I know. Hopefully you know, everything goes good. I said, hey,
- 1:45Speaker 1: by the way, what do you do with the bone
- 1:47Speaker 1: you take out? Because they take the little hook out
- 1:49Speaker 1: and he goes, do you want it? And I'm like, well,
- 1:52Speaker 1: it's mine. It came out of me, so it's mine. Yeah,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I want it. He goes, it's against the law, you
- 1:56Speaker 1: can't have it, you know. I was like, but that song,
- 1:59Speaker 1: bitch came out of me.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe it was the state you're in.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I was in Florida.
- 2:03Speaker 2: No anything goes. I don't know.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I don't know, but I was like, what do you mean?
- 2:07Speaker 1: I can't have it? And this is all happening while
- 2:09Speaker 1: he was taking it out. So maybe I don't know,
- 2:11Speaker 1: but he's like, no, you can't have it. It's against
- 2:12Speaker 1: the law.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Maybe ribs are okay, but or not.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I don't know, but I wanted to like get it,
- 2:18Speaker 1: and I would have put on like a necklace or
- 2:19Speaker 1: something would have been like a cool maybe hearing like
- 2:22Speaker 1: Barry Bond's ear ring and the dangling while I'm hitting
- 2:25Speaker 1: to Timiday Pictures. I don't have a hamdmate. I can
- 2:28Speaker 1: do whatever I want.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Crat's Artepend ninety eight, Section d four in the Constitution,
- 2:34Speaker 2: thou shall not keep thy hammet bone that top ribs
- 2:38Speaker 2: are okay, that's fine.
- 2:40Speaker 5: And they'll always say Zach Wheeler's got skeletons in his closet.
- 2:46Speaker 1: That was like the what was the movie Chris Rock
- 2:49Speaker 1: when he was like the homeless guy and he goes
- 2:50Speaker 1: into this store and he's like how much for some ribs?
- 2:53Speaker 1: He's like, how much with just one rib? Have you
- 2:55Speaker 1: never seen that, and he's like, how much for pepsi? Which, gosh,
- 2:59Speaker 1: it was like the O g the O G one
- 3:01Speaker 1: or the guy over gold. You've never seen that. I'm
- 3:04Speaker 1: gonna get you over gold. Yeah, but I'm gonna get
- 3:07Speaker 1: you stuck her and he's like the homeless guy and
- 3:08Speaker 1: he's like, how much for a rib? How much for
- 3:11Speaker 1: just one rib? How much for the pepsi? Pepsi? He's like,
- 3:14Speaker 1: how about if I just licked the dispenser? You never
- 3:16Speaker 1: seen that? It's a great I don't know s I have?
- 3:19Speaker 5: But he said, oh he got over goolded under under change.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Maybe that was a new Jack City. I don't know.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You never seen that either, have you?
- 3:33Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah? Anyway, well, if you want to be confused,
- 3:37Speaker 2: this next one is taking the social media world by
- 3:41Speaker 2: storm lately. I honestly kind of feel bad, but let's
- 3:44Speaker 2: run it.
- 3:45Speaker 6: You know, he's got he's got a lot of potential.
- 3:48Speaker 6: He can play all over the diamond. He's a strong defender,
- 3:51Speaker 6: base runner, switch hitter. He can do a lot of
- 3:53Speaker 6: different things to to help you win.
- 3:55Speaker 7: I want to bring someone in that that you're excited about, right,
- 3:59Speaker 7: and and our evaluations on Akunya are very strong you know,
- 4:04Speaker 7: for the reasons you stated, very strong defensively switch hitter.
- 4:08Speaker 1: He can run.
- 4:09Speaker 7: He's got great instincts to bring in a.
- 4:11Speaker 6: Player that is young, who's got pedigree, he's got blood
- 4:15Speaker 6: lines with his brother, can play all over the field.
- 4:20Speaker 6: He's a switch hitter. He's one of the top base runners.
- 4:25Speaker 2: All right. So that's Chris Gatz talking about Louis hend Halocunya,
- 4:29Speaker 2: who was acquired recently via trade from the Mets and
- 4:32Speaker 2: the Luis Robert deal. He is, in fact not a
- 4:35Speaker 2: switch hitter. And that clip was put together. I want
- 4:39Speaker 2: to make sure I shout him out Sam Falen on Twitter, right,
- 4:43Speaker 2: he put all the clips together and then gets put
- 4:45Speaker 2: out a quote today. So I probably have been getting
- 4:49Speaker 2: carried away describing his versatility. He can play every position
- 4:52Speaker 2: on the field. Why does it have to stop there?
- 4:54Speaker 2: I called Louis en Helen told him that even though
- 4:56Speaker 2: he's just right handed, we still love him. So he
- 4:58Speaker 2: made light of it. It's embarrassing. No comment, you got nothing.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I'll comment.
- 5:07Speaker 2: It's a talk show. It's a talk show. I actually, legitimately,
- 5:11Speaker 2: I don't know. Should I not feel bad? Should I
- 5:14Speaker 2: feel bad for who? Chris? It's embarrassing.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Oh, I mean you can feel bad for him? Why
- 5:18Speaker 1: would you feel bad for him?
- 5:21Speaker 2: It's taking over the internet today.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Did you feel bad for him? I mean that he
- 5:27Speaker 1: didn't know the guy he just traded for didn't switch hit,
- 5:30Speaker 1: So you feel bad you feel bad for him? Kind
- 5:32Speaker 1: of Okay, that's fair.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Clearly you should know that he's not a switch hitter.
- 5:37Speaker 1: But I don't know, you know what I feel bad for? Oh, crash,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you go, and then I'm gonna say my piece.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Earlier in the show, a j accidentally said Wilson Contreres.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Two names later, Scott you corrected him and said William Contreres.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Why is that because we feel like we.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Should be held accountable.
- 5:56Speaker 5: We feel like we want people to listen to what
- 5:58Speaker 5: we have to say, because we really do a freaking
- 6:02Speaker 5: lot of work behind the scenes to create a good product.
- 6:07Speaker 5: If your general manager is calling one of the pieces
- 6:13Speaker 5: that they got in a big quote air quotes big
- 6:16Speaker 5: trade a switch hitter, somebody that may or may not
- 6:21Speaker 5: get significant time for your team, and you keep calling
- 6:24Speaker 5: him a switch hitter? What kind of what kind of
- 6:28Speaker 5: look does that give your organization? I'm sorry, I really
- 6:32Speaker 5: like Chris Getz as a person. We had a teammate,
- 6:34Speaker 5: but like you do the little things really well, he
- 6:39Speaker 5: made a mistake. He has since said, you know what,
- 6:43Speaker 5: I shoot, I shouldn't have I shouldn't.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Have done that.
- 6:46Speaker 5: Like, I get it, But what kind of message does
- 6:48Speaker 5: that send? Like it's just like you do the little
- 6:52Speaker 5: things great, You're gonna do the big things great too,
- 6:54Speaker 5: And it's a mistake. But to me, I just feel
- 6:57Speaker 5: like it's one of those things that where were the
- 6:59Speaker 5: other Hey, I just saw you did that. You did
- 7:03Speaker 5: that spot on the Chicago network whatever he did it on.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Hey, you called him a switch hitter.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Don't do that again.
- 7:10Speaker 4: He's like, oh, shoot, he did it four times.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Nobody's corrected him.
- 7:18Speaker 5: So where are the other people around him?
- 7:22Speaker 2: Hey? Sometimes we do a little game on foul Territory
- 7:25Speaker 2: called role play. It's not what you think. We're just
- 7:29Speaker 2: picking up our phones and we're talking as if we're

- 8:25Speaker 1: That's why that was my thing is where are the
- 8:29Speaker 1: people after he says it the first time that say
- 8:31Speaker 1: hey Chris, he's not a switch hitter. Where the media
- 8:35Speaker 1: people that should say, hey Chris, you made a mistake,
- 8:38Speaker 1: like Wilson William Conturras, Yo, I'm sorry. They're brothers. I apologize,
- 8:41Speaker 1: but it happened. I also thought maybe Chris gets they
- 8:44Speaker 1: had unlocked a new skill and they were and just
- 8:46Speaker 1: hadn't told anybody since he hasn't gotten a camp yet,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and maybe he has actually switched hitting this year because
- 8:51Speaker 1: he's a Ray handed hitter. Maybe he actually is a
- 8:55Speaker 1: left handed hitter and we just didn't know about it.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just throwing things out there.
- 9:00Speaker 5: That's the new value. That's the new value, like pictures unlocked,
- 9:04Speaker 5: different pitches, Like I used.
- 9:06Speaker 1: To throw a curveball, Now I throw a sweeper.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Whenever I got to this team, they were like, we've
- 9:10Speaker 5: watched you hit right handed. I'm pretty sure you're left handed.
- 9:14Speaker 5: I think somebody said that about me in my career.
- 9:16Speaker 5: They're like, we've watched you hit right handed. You actually
- 9:19Speaker 5: might be left handed. We don't know, do you guys?
- 9:24Speaker 2: Ever hear the story about the Diamondbacks trading for the
- 9:26Speaker 2: wrong Yes.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I thought we did that. I told this story before.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Phillies have released castianos. Here you go, boom so but
- 9:36Speaker 1: breaking news. But when we when the Twins traded for
- 9:39Speaker 1: David Ortiz, he was originally known as David Arias when
- 9:43Speaker 1: I played against him in a ball the year before,
- 9:45Speaker 1: when he was still with the Mariners and they and
- 9:47Speaker 1: they traded for him, and they're like, oh, they traded
- 9:49Speaker 1: I think it was Dave Hollins. Dave Hollins maybe for
- 9:52Speaker 1: David Ortiz, David Arius. But when it came across the wire,
- 9:55Speaker 1: it was for David Ortiz. So we all we all
- 9:59Speaker 1: called Terry Ryan and we're like, hey, we traded for
- 10:02Speaker 1: the wrong David. And he's like, what do you mean.
- 10:03Speaker 1: We're like, no, no, no, we wanted David Aria's not David
- 10:06Speaker 1: Ortiz's like, it's the same guy. Changed his name that
- 10:08Speaker 1: offseason and he lost seven years of age. I'm just
- 10:11Speaker 1: kidding little. That was the joke. Say no, he actually
- 10:15Speaker 1: did it, but everything changed. That was the joke we
- 10:17Speaker 1: used to make with him because he switched Froim, like
- 10:18Speaker 1: his dad's name to his mom's name or something whatever
- 10:20Speaker 1: it was. But we used to be like, oh, David,
- 10:22Speaker 1: and he lost seven years on your age because that
- 10:23Speaker 1: was kind of right about when all the age stuff
- 10:25Speaker 1: was happening. Yes, but it wasn't true with David. So
- 10:28Speaker 1: but it was just we're like, Terry Ryan, you traded
- 10:29Speaker 1: for the wrong dude.
- 10:31Speaker 2: The Diamondbacks had Brad Ziggler and many teams wanted him,
- 10:36Speaker 2: and they ended up trading him to Boston. This was
- 10:38Speaker 2: about ten years ago. Yeah, I think it was when
- 10:42Speaker 2: it was Dave Stewart and some of his guys running
- 10:44Speaker 2: the front office. I believe, I don't know. I shouldn't
- 10:48Speaker 2: say that. I don't know who it was. And then
- 10:53Speaker 2: some front office people were like, hey, we offered better
- 10:57Speaker 2: than they did. We feel like we offered significantly better
- 11:00Speaker 2: than they did. And then they go, wait a second,
- 11:04Speaker 2: did they know they traded for the wrong Basabe. There
- 11:07Speaker 2: were two Bassames, so.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Red Sox were like, sure, we'll do that.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yeah, because they said, I'm pulling this from from a
- 11:16Speaker 2: Jeff Passon article back when he was working for Yahoo said,
- 11:21Speaker 2: before Zigler was traded to Boston, the Diamondbacks were asking
- 11:24Speaker 2: teams for front line prospects, all top one hundred type guys,
- 11:27Speaker 2: some top fifty even higher. Cleveland, Toronto, the cups. They
- 11:31Speaker 2: all wanted Ziggler, and all were gobsmacked by what the
- 11:34Speaker 2: Diamondbacks ended up taking from Boston Luis Alejandro bisab and
- 11:40Speaker 2: right hander Jose Almonte, and one GM in the story said,
- 11:44Speaker 2: I wonder if they know they got the wrong Basabe,
- 11:46Speaker 2: referencing Luis Alejandro's twin, Luis Alexander Bissabe, who was considered
- 11:51Speaker 2: by scouts the better player of the two, ever make
- 11:55Speaker 2: neither of them had made anything.
- 11:57Speaker 1: His brother made.
- 11:58Speaker 5: His brother at fourteen bets Alexander.
- 12:03Speaker 2: So even if they had gotten that, imagine.
- 12:07Speaker 1: There's no bread. Brad Ziegler, he's in the book.
- 12:12Speaker 2: No I thought.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I booked him. I can call him whatever I want.
- 12:16Speaker 2: When you book someone anytime, home off you, all right,
- 12:21Speaker 2: That's why the book In conclusion, people make mistakes. People
- 12:25Speaker 2: should try and remind people when they're making mistakes.
- 12:28Speaker 1: And yes, this is a big deal because one it's
- 12:31Speaker 1: the White Sox and they've had a rough go of
- 12:33Speaker 1: it lately. Yes, And also if it would have happened
- 12:37Speaker 1: one time, then I think people would have been like, oh,
- 12:39Speaker 1: he made a mistake. But when it repeatedly happens, that's
- 12:43Speaker 1: when I think someone needs to step up to the play,
- 12:45Speaker 1: whoever that person is, and say, hey, Chris, sorry, but
- 12:50Speaker 1: now that it got called out on the internet because
- 12:53Speaker 1: I got a bunch of textiles is kind of funny.
- 12:58Speaker 1: He knew he was going to get asked about it.
- 13:00Speaker 1: So then they had to put out this statement, which
- 13:01Speaker 1: was clearly a PR let's jump ahead of this, yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 1: which statement, which is fine, which is what the PR departments,
- 13:07Speaker 1: these teams do. They did a good job of this
- 13:10Speaker 1: to kind of make a joke out of it and
- 13:11Speaker 1: the whole thing. But that's the thing is like once
- 13:13Speaker 1: it became more than But again it goes back to
- 13:15Speaker 1: he did one of these at the socks Fest, the
- 13:17Speaker 1: fan fest, right, so you don't think there was a
- 13:20Speaker 1: fan that was like, wait, what can And then and
- 13:26Speaker 1: then when he did the one with Dave Kaplan who's
- 13:28Speaker 1: a Cubs fan, so he doesn't know which side of
- 13:30Speaker 1: the plate Luisa Kunya it's from and Eluna it's from right.
- 13:33Speaker 1: So that was the one who did that I saw.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Can I throw a theory out there? A GM might
- 13:42Speaker 2: do many interviews and then and I mean players are
- 13:45Speaker 2: victim of this sometimes too. Anybody that does many interviews
- 13:48Speaker 2: sometimes they get an autopilot.
- 13:51Speaker 1: But again that's where the PR person has to step
- 13:53Speaker 1: up and say.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Hey, you're auto pilot's off, like fix this because they
- 13:56Speaker 2: say the same things over and over.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Of course, they all have their talk. They're talking pot Yeah.
- 13:59Speaker 1: If you listen to those inn the four that we showed,
- 14:02Speaker 1: they're the exact same quotes for like, yeah, he can
- 14:05Speaker 1: play anywhere in the field, he has good speed, he's
- 14:07Speaker 1: a switch hitter, he's versus traded for me.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Pliticians do that yeah, say the same things over and
- 14:12Speaker 2: over again. You come up with your talking points. So
- 14:16Speaker 2: they just had.
- 14:16Speaker 1: The I looked it up.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I'm literally just showing compassion, saying I feel bad for him.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Oh, you're embarrassed for him, like you're like you're you're
- 14:29Speaker 5: cringing for I looked it up to see if their
- 14:31Speaker 5: other brother, who was actually born when I played with
- 14:34Speaker 5: their dad, if he was if he was a switch hitter.
- 14:39Speaker 5: He's also right handed, so their dad, their cousins, all
- 14:43Speaker 5: of them right handed. So there was no switch hitters
- 14:46Speaker 5: in the Acuna family that I'm aware of.
- 14:50Speaker 2: He was just thinking, you know, he plays a lot
- 14:51Speaker 2: of positions and he can just do it all on
- 14:55Speaker 2: the field. You get him from the left side the
- 14:57Speaker 2: right side.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Oops.
- 14:59Speaker 5: I've I think it's a little bit bigger a deal
- 15:01Speaker 5: than what you guys said.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Oh, I'm just saying it's not a big deal. All
- 15:04Speaker 2: I said, who whoa, whoa. Don't misquote me.
- 15:06Speaker 1: No, I said it wasn't a big deal.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It's a big deal. You need to know your players
- 15:10Speaker 2: and who you're trading for. I'm making fun of the
- 15:12Speaker 2: Diamondbacks trading for a player that they did not know
- 15:15Speaker 2: was the wrong player. What I'm saying is I also
- 15:19Speaker 2: feel bad. It's like when my dog barks and goes
- 15:21Speaker 2: crazy and thinks there's someone in the hallway and I
- 15:23Speaker 2: opened the door and I'm like, you were freaking out,
- 15:25Speaker 2: there's nothing here. I'm embarrassed for them, that's all.
- 15:28Speaker 1: It is. What it is. It'll go away in one day.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But it's just you know what it is. It's just funny.
- 15:34Speaker 1: It's just funny because obviously people know I'm a white
- 15:36Speaker 1: Sox fan, so people just text me this all the time, yeah,
- 15:39Speaker 1: and say, what is your GAM doing? I'm like, ya,
- 15:43Speaker 1: there's no answer, Like you made a mistake.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Let's just see what the results look like. Is the
- 15:48Speaker 2: team gonna be better, the team gonna be good or not?
- 15:50Speaker 1: Well, it's probably not gonna be good, but the better I'll.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Tell you one more thing. Folks, back in when the
- 15:56Speaker 2: Winter Meetings were really fun, a bunch of gms would
- 16:00Speaker 2: just sit at the bar, get drunk and make trades.
- 16:03Speaker 2: That's what the GM or the Winter Meetings was about.
- 16:05Speaker 2: And I think there's a little bit of the GM meetings.
- 16:07Speaker 2: They might have like a cocktail and play pickleball or whatever.
- 16:11Speaker 2: They don't really get much done. But you know, the
- 16:14Speaker 2: real winter meetings back in the day.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Back in the day was great. Everything happened.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Drunk trades, real, real drunk trades. Not in nineteen twenty four.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I'm talking in when do you think that ended? Yeah?
- 16:31Speaker 5: Now they just take an edible and they don't trade
- 16:33Speaker 5: anybody because everything's terrible. Bro, we don't have any money.
- 16:39Speaker 5: That guy sucks in bass mall. What did your algorithm say, careful.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Don't do that. It's WBC season. We can't talk about
- 16:47Speaker 2: that stuff. They'll suspend you.
- 16:49Speaker 1: That's Jobby Bias.
- 16:50Speaker 2: You missed that.
- 16:51Speaker 5: There's gonna be nobody left.
- 16:54Speaker 2: This is so fun.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I know we're gonna get into WBC's it gets closer
- 16:58Speaker 1: and I have to do the games. Yeah, why do
- 17:01Speaker 1: they have different drug rules when it's the same.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Oh, so you're bringing up the topic from Priday?
- 17:05Speaker 1: And then also why is there no abs? If they're
- 17:07Speaker 1: throwing abs into the regular season, why don't we just
- 17:09Speaker 1: throw abs into this thing too? You know what, you
- 17:12Speaker 1: would get it. But if you're Major League Baseball, a
- 17:14Speaker 1: free trial of it on TV so everyone sees it, why.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Would you not?
- 17:18Speaker 1: Why would you not do that?
- 17:20Speaker 2: Stupid? And also you have all the leverage in the world.
- 17:21Speaker 2: If I'm baseball, I'm just like, hey, whatever federation you are, like,
- 17:25Speaker 2: if we're running this, we're running it our way. No,

- 18:33Speaker 5: not installed. Hawkeye is not installed in Puerto Rico. It's
- 18:37Speaker 5: not installed in I forget what the other location is,
- 18:41Speaker 5: but Tokyo Dome, the Tokyo Dome.
- 18:43Speaker 2: They probably have that, don't They can't.
- 18:44Speaker 4: I don't ship one.
- 18:45Speaker 1: They can't ship one over there to get this done.
- 18:48Speaker 1: That's why they played a Big League game last year
- 18:51Speaker 1: in the Tokyo Dome. They can't. They didn't put it.
- 18:53Speaker 1: They didn't have all this stuff in. It's going to
- 18:56Speaker 1: be part of it.
- 18:57Speaker 5: It's gonna be part of They're gonna have to set
- 18:59Speaker 5: up Hawkeye for the children of the corn game.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Or I think can do that at Fields of Dreams.
- 19:06Speaker 5: That's what I mean.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Like this is you're gonna have a guy dressed up.
- 19:08Speaker 1: You're gonna have one of the bad bunny people that
- 19:10Speaker 1: was dressed up like the planting to be the howt
- 19:13Speaker 1: guy guy it's a corn.
- 19:15Speaker 2: And hold up on the weeds in the weeds.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Like seriously, that was kind of cool, though. I
- 19:21Speaker 1: did like the people that were plants that if you
- 19:23Speaker 1: see the videos and the running out there. Yeah, and
- 19:25Speaker 1: you're like, what the hell was on there too?
- 19:29Speaker 2: Ronald Cerney was there. All right, Shall we try to
- 19:32Speaker 2: get back on track for a second. No, No, you
- 19:35Speaker 2: don't want to.
- 19:35Speaker 1: What's the point this point?
- 19:38Speaker 2: Jose Burrios apologized for kind of ditching the team in
- 19:44Speaker 2: the World Series last year. He wasn't going to pitch
- 19:48Speaker 2: unless they needed him. He wasn't on the roster. He
- 19:50Speaker 2: was frustrated about it. He is a really good dude,
- 19:54Speaker 2: nice guy. I know I say that a lot, but
- 19:56Speaker 2: if you can do the math, often we don't say
- 19:58Speaker 2: that about someone, so maybe you can and for something.
- 20:01Speaker 2: But with Jose, well like apologize to his teammates, bad decision,
- 20:04Speaker 2: went home during the World Series, wanted to rehab with
- 20:06Speaker 2: his family. Blue Jays players had been treating me amazing.
- 20:11Speaker 2: They understand me. According to Brios, here's another case. I'm
- 20:14Speaker 2: going to say, good guy. I don't think this is
- 20:16Speaker 2: a testament to his character the whole way through. But
- 20:18Speaker 2: that's a pretty big mistake. And if you go back
- 20:20Speaker 2: to when we talked about this during the winter meetings,
- 20:22Speaker 2: what if they needed him and he's not there.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Well, my thing is like, I get you want to
- 20:27Speaker 1: be with your family, but you want to rehab with
- 20:30Speaker 1: your family. Like it's a week, dude, like ten days
- 20:32Speaker 1: and most like you can have your family fly with
- 20:34Speaker 1: you around. You have ton of money.
- 20:36Speaker 2: It's the World Series, the World Series.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You might never get back to one.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, so I get it.
- 20:40Speaker 1: He apologized. So he did do the right thing. I'll
- 20:42Speaker 1: give him credit.
- 20:43Speaker 2: That's the right thing.
- 20:43Speaker 1: He did the right thing. He apologized. And listen, as
- 20:46Speaker 1: we all know and Kratz knows this too, when you're
- 20:49Speaker 1: in a clubhouse and a guy apologizes, you always are like,
- 20:53Speaker 1: it's cool, man. But there's always right, There's always you know, crotch,
- 21:00Speaker 1: there's always like that little bit of you that's like, okay,
- 21:05Speaker 1: because we all we all screw up. We all screwed up, right,
- 21:08Speaker 1: But there there are certain things as teammates. And I'm
- 21:12Speaker 1: not saying jose Bris is a bad teammate, but there's
- 21:14Speaker 1: a there's there's always that little bit in the back
- 21:16Speaker 1: of your mind. It's like, damn, we were in the
- 21:19Speaker 1: World Series and he chose not to be here because again,
- 21:25Speaker 1: because he wanted to go with this, because he wanted
- 21:28Speaker 1: to go rehab with his family.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Because he was pissed that he wasn't on the roster.
- 21:32Speaker 5: There, that's that's what AJ's saying is in his mind,
- 21:37Speaker 5: he was pissed in that moment. Are you going to
- 21:40Speaker 5: choose yourself over the team in another situation? Is what
- 21:44Speaker 5: AJ was inferring right there. I'm not saying I think
- 21:47Speaker 5: he did the right thing. I think the dudes know
- 21:49Speaker 5: him because a week of a mistake is way different
- 21:53Speaker 5: than an entire year of a mistake. But it's just
- 21:56Speaker 5: like when somebody lies to you. If you're gonna lie
- 21:59Speaker 5: about something, are you gonna lie about something? Big Jose
- 22:02Speaker 5: Burrios is on this team. He has been a very
- 22:06Speaker 5: He's been a huge piece to this team. He makes
- 22:08Speaker 5: his starts, and he was pissed. Every single dude in
- 22:12Speaker 5: that locker room would have been pissed unless they weren't
- 22:15Speaker 5: worth their weren't worth their weight and salt like everybody
- 22:19Speaker 5: gets that part of it.
- 22:21Speaker 1: But you did leave. Do you forgive him?
- 22:25Speaker 5: Yes? Do you remember it? Absolutely? Another thing? Cool stat?
- 22:31Speaker 5: Look up how many earned runs he has given up
- 22:34Speaker 5: in the last three years. It's one of those cool stats.
- 22:38Speaker 5: He's given up seventy seven earned runs exactly in twenty
- 22:42Speaker 5: twenty three, twenty four and twenty five anyway, completely off top.
- 22:47Speaker 1: It's no Chris Davis a hit at two forty nine
- 22:50Speaker 1: for like seven years in a rown. Oh my gosh,
- 22:54Speaker 1: every year he get the same yeah a bunch. But
- 22:57Speaker 1: so I mean, listen, this happened to me into my
- 23:00Speaker 1: carew twenty fourteen. When I was at the Cardinals, right,
- 23:02Speaker 1: they called me and say, hey, you're not going to
- 23:03Speaker 1: be on the DS roster and I was like okay,
- 23:07Speaker 1: Like I kind of knew it was coming, which is fine.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Like I was like, okay, you know, why not and
- 23:10Speaker 1: they're like, oh, we need an extra pitch or whatever.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I was like okay. And the Mike Atheni when he
- 23:14Speaker 1: called me, he was like, hey, you can go home
- 23:16Speaker 1: and then just come back for the you know, if
- 23:18Speaker 1: we win for the LCS, you know, da da da
- 23:20Speaker 1: da or whatever. And I was like no, I'm like
- 23:22Speaker 1: why would I go home? And he's like, I don't know,
- 23:25Speaker 1: if you just want to go hang out with your
- 23:26Speaker 1: family or no. He goes, you can go home for
- 23:27Speaker 1: a couple of days and then you can come meet
- 23:29Speaker 1: us in La or whatever, and I'm like no, He's
- 23:31Speaker 1: like you don't have to come to the workouts or anything.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm like, no, dude, like I'm there. He's like, what
- 23:35Speaker 1: do you mean. I go, I'm part of it. I'm
- 23:37Speaker 1: still part of the team, right, He's like, yeah, I go,
- 23:38Speaker 1: then I'm going to be part of the team.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Like yeah, like I'm going. And I ended up having
- 23:43Speaker 1: to play in the LCS because yeah, he got hurt, right,
- 23:45Speaker 1: But I'm like, yeah, like, I'm not just commuting. It
- 23:48Speaker 1: was my last chance to go to the playoffs. I'm like,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm riding this bitch out and you can like I'm
- 23:52Speaker 1: enjoying this.
- 23:53Speaker 2: What if you say that one thing that changes everything?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought I did. After Adams sit that home
- 23:58Speaker 1: er off kershot, I thought, man, that was we're doing
- 24:00Speaker 1: it here so long hit a walk off homer in
- 24:03Speaker 1: Game two of the LCS.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Are you say something to them?
- 24:06Speaker 1: No, No, the.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Game I was what you weren't You weren't on the roster.
- 24:13Speaker 5: You were drunk half the game. You add skills if
- 24:16Speaker 5: you drink a little bit of Kolu in your coffee.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But no, you guys would have won it.
- 24:21Speaker 5: You guys would have wanted it, except Travis Chikawa got you.
- 24:24Speaker 2: True true Beautiful Brewer Territory and their host Corey Knabel,
- 24:29Speaker 2: joining us right now on FT. Corey, it's awesome to
- 24:32Speaker 2: have you a part of the FT fam. We're excited.
- 24:35Speaker 2: I listened to the show yesterday with you and Kurt
- 24:38Speaker 2: Hoag and it was really good, really good energy, great insight.
- 24:40Speaker 2: So thanks for joining us, but also welcome.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Hey, good to be here.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Man.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Thanks learning, and I'm really enjoying this opportunity.
- 24:50Speaker 2: So it's.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Uh, yeah, we're in the mountains right now. We're in Colorado.
- 25:00Speaker 5: I was gonna say either that or you're dressed up
- 25:02Speaker 5: is like blue super Mario Brothers.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Hey you retired, man, I get to go. Yeah, I'm
- 25:08Speaker 4: snowboarding now.
- 25:09Speaker 2: So oh I love it. I love it. Are we
- 25:13Speaker 2: fresh off the mountain right now? Sure?
- 25:15Speaker 4: I am?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Let's I don't know if I can turn it. No,
- 25:21Speaker 4: I got no clue how to do that.
- 25:22Speaker 2: That's okay, y, we'll get yelled that.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I just before we get into the baseball. So, so
- 25:29Speaker 1: you're one of those people that's a snowboarder. Huh, you're
- 25:31Speaker 1: one of those people that I am.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Now. I didn't know I was until after baseball, and
- 25:36Speaker 4: I I like snowboarding. I'm one of those guys. I'm
- 25:39Speaker 4: not a skier, Is that what you're implying.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yes, because skiers, I don't like snowboarders because when you're
- 25:45Speaker 1: a skier and you actually have skill and you actually
- 25:48Speaker 1: just going down the mountain, then a snowboarder runs by
- 25:51Speaker 1: and like take your knee on, Like I'm on the rail, bro,
- 25:55Speaker 1: I got out on the edge.
- 25:57Speaker 4: B I'm shredding the gnarl right, yeah, exactly, punk rock
- 26:03Speaker 4: and their headphones.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Oh they got their beats by dres Yeah, their crazy
- 26:08Speaker 1: hat helmet with like the slowhawk.
- 26:13Speaker 2: And then you're just like you just to close games
- 26:15Speaker 2: for the Brewers.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Yeah exactly, you have no idea.
- 26:20Speaker 2: All right, that's good. All right. So anyway, what do
- 26:24Speaker 2: you think about the Brewers this year?
- 26:27Speaker 4: I mean, you know, there's been a lot of moves recently.
- 26:31Speaker 4: I'm still excited to watch you. I'm excited to be
- 26:33Speaker 4: a part of this, but man, you know, losing Freddy,
- 26:36Speaker 4: I completely understand the moves, but you know, also and
- 26:40Speaker 4: then you go in and losing Durban. So it's just,
- 26:44Speaker 4: you know, Matt Arnold's got something up to sleep from sugar,
- 26:47Speaker 4: and I think there's a lot of opportunities for a
- 26:49Speaker 4: lot of young guys to come and I prove themselves.
- 26:52Speaker 5: Wait, wait, do you work for our fould Territory network
- 26:55Speaker 5: or do you work for the Brewers? I mean, you
- 26:57Speaker 5: don't have to drink the whole kool aid like they
- 26:59Speaker 5: got rid of everybody for like they got rid of
- 27:03Speaker 5: their ace a year after having the most wins, I know,
- 27:08Speaker 5: rid of the number three and number four rookies of
- 27:11Speaker 5: the year.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Are they gonna be MVPs this year? No, that's not
- 27:14Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 27:15Speaker 4: No, but you still have what he You still haven't
- 27:18Speaker 4: seen him to get up his to his full potential.
- 27:21Speaker 2: You know.
- 27:21Speaker 4: I think that's what they're trying to get him into
- 27:23Speaker 4: is maybe let him step into his ACE role that
- 27:27Speaker 4: he's familiar with being in. And you got miss who's
- 27:31Speaker 4: you know, obviously going to be your perfect one two punch.
- 27:37Speaker 4: And then yeah, obviously we just got Henderson in the trade.
- 27:40Speaker 4: So I'm excited to see a couple of these guys.
- 27:41Speaker 4: But I mean, I can't be too optimistic about it.
- 27:45Speaker 4: You know, we had a lot of young guys in
- 27:47Speaker 4: twenty eighteen, and look what we did. I guess we
- 27:51Speaker 4: had crats, but there's a little different.
- 27:55Speaker 1: It is different.
- 27:56Speaker 5: But as as a Brewers fan, do you want to
- 27:58Speaker 5: see this team make it to the playoffs with Freddie
- 28:03Speaker 5: Peralta or without Freddie Parolta Because the overarching and I
- 28:06Speaker 5: think it's what you're saying, is well, it doesn't really
- 28:09Speaker 5: matter because Matt Arnold's got something up his sleeve and
- 28:11Speaker 5: it's gonna be these young prospects and they're gonna make
- 28:14Speaker 5: it back to the playoffs. But wouldn't it be awesome
- 28:17Speaker 5: if miz takes that next step, if Big.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Wu returns to his number one form, to.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Have a number three because last year they were going
- 28:26Speaker 5: into Game three with a spot starter as a team
- 28:29Speaker 5: with the most wins in baseball, Like, that's not what
- 28:34Speaker 5: I assume Brewers fans won.
- 28:38Speaker 4: I would agree. I think this surprised a lot of people.
- 28:40Speaker 4: And obviously, like you said, there's a lot of ifs,
- 28:43Speaker 4: a lot of ifs in that situation, so you know,
- 28:46Speaker 4: a lot of things have to kind of fall into
- 28:48Speaker 4: place here. But man, it's who knows what else is
- 28:53Speaker 4: left though, you know, there's a lot of big trades,
- 28:56Speaker 4: a lot of prospects coming in, and there could still
- 28:59Speaker 4: be some was made obviously, you know, seeing Hamilton come over,
- 29:05Speaker 4: I think that third base is still up for grabs.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Bullpen at the end of the end of the game
- 29:12Speaker 4: looks solid. Still, I don't know. I mean, there's still
- 29:18Speaker 4: they need to get some bats. Obviously, there's still a
- 29:21Speaker 4: lot of this. I know it's.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Wait, but hold on in a second. You were just
- 29:26Speaker 1: talking about him winning the World Series. Now sudden there's
- 29:29Speaker 1: I like, wait a second.
- 29:30Speaker 2: There's no bats.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Stop, I'll stop.
- 29:33Speaker 4: There's if there's if there I mean, you're hopeful, you know,
- 29:39Speaker 4: you hope, you hope you can make a good run.
- 29:41Speaker 1: You sound like a Brewers fan that we'd be talking to,
- 29:44Speaker 1: like on the side of the street. That's like, well,
- 29:46Speaker 1: if if Wilson Contreras hits sixty like cal Rawly did,
- 29:50Speaker 1: If Bryce Terraang hits forty, if Christian Yeax plays one
- 29:53Speaker 1: hundred and sixty two, if Jackson Tario doesn't get hurt
- 29:55Speaker 1: and hits forty, if Woody doesn't get hurt, if miss
- 29:58Speaker 1: can figure out how to throw it over the played
- 30:00Speaker 1: for thirty starts. If yeah, I mean, if everything goes perfect. Yeah,
- 30:06Speaker 1: if but didn't we just sign Gary Sanchez too. Okay,
- 30:11Speaker 1: there's another bat do what el Gary? Yeah? Yeah, Gary.
- 30:17Speaker 4: So there's I mean there's another bat hopefully get back
- 30:20Speaker 4: to his his all star form as well. There's a
- 30:26Speaker 4: lot of this, but it's still it's still the Al Central.
- 30:31Speaker 4: There's still Brewers trying to think of who you got
- 30:38Speaker 4: in there. I mean, there there's gonna be some competition
- 30:40Speaker 4: obviously with the Cubs and the Reds are always going
- 30:43Speaker 4: to have their bats. So I think that there's still
- 30:47Speaker 4: a good opportunity that they win. They can at least
- 30:50Speaker 4: win the division, get get into the wild Card. There's
- 30:53Speaker 4: a lot of opportunities now with baseball, but there is
- 30:58Speaker 4: also a lot of this. Let's just let's how it is, man.
- 31:00Speaker 4: I mean, yo, if everyone can stay healthy the Dodgers, right,
- 31:06Speaker 4: if everyone can stay healthy every year with the Dodgers,
- 31:09Speaker 4: they're gonna they're gonna have a chance to win it
- 31:11Speaker 4: every year. And last year everything fell into place.
- 31:14Speaker 5: So all right, listen, listen, you blue your blue smurf.
- 31:20Speaker 5: I'm gonna go to an area that you can't give
- 31:23Speaker 5: me an ifs or butts. You know, you know Hooky,
- 31:25Speaker 5: you know Chris the pitching coach for the Brewers, can
- 31:30Speaker 5: he help Kyle Harrison learn to throw strikes, be more consistent,
- 31:36Speaker 5: be that like super high ceiling pitcher that everybody in
- 31:40Speaker 5: baseball has always ranked.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Him hat as.
- 31:43Speaker 5: And if he can do it, how does he do that?
- 31:48Speaker 4: I couldn't tell you how he's gonna do it, obviously,
- 31:52Speaker 4: that's what Hookey knows and only Hooky knows. But I
- 31:55Speaker 4: do have faith in Hookie obviously, seeing what he's done
- 31:57Speaker 4: over the years in his career in the minor league
- 32:00Speaker 4: level and the major league level. I think Hookie knows
- 32:03Speaker 4: exactly how to work with these guys. He sees the
- 32:08Speaker 4: spin rate of these guys, he knows where these guys
- 32:10Speaker 4: need to throw to be successful. And I mean they've
- 32:14Speaker 4: done a really good job obviously the past couple of years,
- 32:17Speaker 4: past few years of having a very strong starting rotation
- 32:23Speaker 4: and bullpen getting ahead throwing strikes, knowing that what you
- 32:28Speaker 4: have is enough. Yeah, of course, I think Hookie knows
- 32:33Speaker 4: exactly what he's doing with this guy, and he's gonna
- 32:36Speaker 4: he's gonna do everything that he can possibly so high
- 32:40Speaker 4: spin rate, good change up. Like you said, I mean,
- 32:42Speaker 4: if he can just learn to throw strikes just what
- 32:46Speaker 4: twenty thirty percent more of the time, then he's going
- 32:49Speaker 4: to be very successful.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Wow, that's a big jump. But it's another if just
- 32:52Speaker 1: saying twenty to thirty, there's another that's a giant jump.
- 32:56Speaker 1: By the way, I thought you said like five percent maybe,
- 32:58Speaker 1: but twenty to thirty Damn, that's a lot of Man.
- 33:01Speaker 1: If I was twenty twenty to thirty percent more homers,
- 33:04Speaker 1: I'd be at the.
- 33:04Speaker 4: All thing exactly. If I'm throwing eight percent over my
- 33:09Speaker 4: fifty percent, I'd probably still be playing right now. So
- 33:13Speaker 4: you're right, You're.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Right, Okay, what I just want to know, you were
- 33:17Speaker 1: a Brewer guy, you were a bullpen guy. You were
- 33:18Speaker 1: on a couple of teams before you got to the Brewers.
- 33:21Speaker 1: What are the Brewers telling you? Said, I don't know
- 33:22Speaker 1: what Hooky tells them. What did he tell you? And
- 33:24Speaker 1: what do they tell their bullpen that makes them so
- 33:27Speaker 1: successful at finding guys off waivers, finding guys other teams
- 33:31Speaker 1: dump and make them so great, especially the bullpen guys
- 33:34Speaker 1: they have, Uh I mean, and.
- 33:38Speaker 4: From my experience in Milwaukee was, look, they want to
- 33:41Speaker 4: find guys that are coming in that are gonna throw strikes.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Obviously they love guys that throw hard. You see it,
- 33:46Speaker 4: You've got plenty of guys in the bullpen that are
- 33:49Speaker 4: flame throwers. And you can always work with flame throwers, right,
- 33:53Speaker 4: but guys that come in that are I spin rate
- 33:57Speaker 4: or they've got you know, your sinker, slider, chain jump. Now,
- 34:00Speaker 4: the sweepers, anybody that knows they're coming in and they're
- 34:05Speaker 4: gonna throw strikes, they're not gonna come in and be timid,
- 34:08Speaker 4: be afraid. They're coming in. And look, Milwaukee's always had, right,
- 34:14Speaker 4: some really good starting pitchers who are gonna get you
- 34:20Speaker 4: five to six innings, and so you know that the
- 34:23Speaker 4: bullpen's probably coming in for three to four innings to
- 34:25Speaker 4: find two to three innings to finish out the game. So,
- 34:30Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know how they find them, but
- 34:35Speaker 4: they do.
- 34:39Speaker 1: They find They found you.
- 34:41Speaker 4: They found me the hours before Hooky, but I worked
- 34:45Speaker 4: with Hookey in Double A and the spring training. But look,
- 34:52Speaker 4: that's where I think Matt Arnold has a great relationship
- 34:55Speaker 4: with Murphy and Hooky, and they know what they're looking for.
- 34:58Speaker 4: They know the guys they are looking for. I don't
- 35:00Speaker 4: know who that who those guys are, but they have
- 35:02Speaker 4: found those guys right the past. What is it we're
- 35:06Speaker 4: in twenty twenty six season now, So they have found
- 35:08Speaker 4: those guys since really twenty eighteen. I mean they've been
- 35:11Speaker 4: making playoff runs since then.
- 35:14Speaker 1: So who's the guy.
- 35:17Speaker 5: Who's the guy that you're watching, Somebody you haven't mentioned
- 35:19Speaker 5: yet that you're like, if this guy can take the
- 35:22Speaker 5: next step, if this guy can come Obviously A's gonna
- 35:25Speaker 5: give you a hard time because it's ifs, but there's
- 35:27Speaker 5: always somebody that you're like, this guy takes that next step,
- 35:34Speaker 5: the Brewers are going to be, oh okay.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Honestly, man, I mean, it's not a taking the next
- 35:40Speaker 4: step for me. I want to see Woodriff. I want
- 35:44Speaker 4: to see Woodroff get back to his Obviously, these injuries,
- 35:49Speaker 4: the surgeries that he's been having, you know, it's it's
- 35:51Speaker 4: part of the business, but I want to see him
- 35:53Speaker 4: get back. You know, he he started looking really good
- 35:56Speaker 4: last year and then he had some you know, inflammation
- 35:58Speaker 4: build up and he was out all postseason, you know.
- 36:01Speaker 4: So I think I want to see him get back
- 36:06Speaker 4: to his his form, his all star form, his the
- 36:11Speaker 4: numbers that he has in the playoffs. I want to
- 36:12Speaker 4: see him back. And if if wood he can come back,
- 36:17Speaker 4: I think that having that ace is going to be
- 36:20Speaker 4: a very solid start for the Brewers.
- 36:25Speaker 1: It's fair. Yeah, help all the f's work out for
- 36:27Speaker 1: the Brewers. Big fan of a big fan of the Brewers,
- 36:31Speaker 1: big fan of a sala hurts my heart.
- 36:33Speaker 2: They won ninety seven games last year. They got beat
- 36:36Speaker 2: by the World Champs. They had a really nice season
- 36:39Speaker 2: last year. Now are they weaker on paper this year? Yes?
- 36:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you can make that argument.
- 36:45Speaker 2: But it's I do you think they went from ninety
- 36:48Speaker 2: seven to what?
- 36:51Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a lot of young guys. Yeah, we don't
- 36:54Speaker 4: know how that would be. Oh yeah, did you say sorry?
- 36:58Speaker 1: Yeah? So yeah, I said I'd like to sell as
- 37:01Speaker 1: much as it pains me to say that.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Oh superstar he is. He's good people. Well so are you, Corey.
- 37:09Speaker 2: It's good catching up. I want you to hop back
- 37:11Speaker 2: on the mountain for us. Okay, blast the punk rock,
- 37:15Speaker 2: run into everyone, tell them you don't even know what
- 37:17Speaker 2: my freaking closer entrance song was, and enjoy the day.
- 37:21Speaker 2: But we're happy to have it as part of the team. Right,
- 37:23Speaker 2: we'll be listening to Brewer Territory all right.
- 37:26Speaker 4: I appreciate it, guys, Thanks for having me on.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Yeah, great to talk to you. Corey Canabel with us
- 37:30Speaker 2: on FT and check out Brewer territory. There it is
- 37:34Speaker 2: scenes from the first episode. Kurt Hogue and Corey Cannabel

- 37:41Speaker 2: guest on the show over the years, giving us the
- 37:43Speaker 2: goods on the Brewers, following the team on a daily basis.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Corey obviously look them up kids, if you want to
- 37:50Speaker 2: know what it is, Corey, Oh yeah, strikeout machine.
- 37:56Speaker 1: One day.
- 37:56Speaker 5: One day I got a good Corey Cabel wasn't doing
- 38:00Speaker 5: real well story, and they put him on the IL
- 38:04Speaker 5: got him back and he ended up being the best
- 38:06Speaker 5: pitcher in baseball for the last two months of the
- 38:08Speaker 5: eighteen season
