- 0:01Speaker 1: Still gots.
- 0:02Speaker 2: I got to be honest with you, Bruce, there's a
- 0:03Speaker 2: good chance I'd be high anyway. And I'm wondering how
- 0:06Speaker 2: the football weekend was. Were you able to watch it?
- 0:08Speaker 1: Wow, what happened? I'm tired of him. How about that?
- 0:14Speaker 3: In company.
- 0:15Speaker 4: We are mother shuckers, baby. Reese, does Faison Brandon's name
- 0:19Speaker 4: sound like it's on backwards?
- 0:20Speaker 1: No doubt.
- 0:21Speaker 4: It's time to get your.
- 0:23Speaker 4: It's time to get your racket to get the all boat,
- 0:27Speaker 4: the all boat.
- 0:28Speaker 1: You got nothing right there.
- 0:29Speaker 4: This is not going well.
- 0:31Speaker 1: This is Stu Gotts and company. Stu, back to you.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Taylor, if I told you you could be a fly
- 0:38Speaker 2: on the wall at a wedding, you're not invited to
- 0:41Speaker 2: the wedding. You're just a fly on the wall. But
- 0:44Speaker 2: there are celebrities at the wedding. If there were one
- 0:48Speaker 2: celebrity in sports media that you would want to see
- 0:51Speaker 2: how they act at a wedding and you could.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Be a fly on the wall for that wedding, who
- 0:56Speaker 1: would you go with?
- 0:57Speaker 2: Because I'm not certain I wouldn't go with either Mike Francesa,
- 1:01Speaker 2: maybe Chris Berman.
- 1:02Speaker 1: How about that?
- 1:04Speaker 4: I think you would have to go with some combination
- 1:06Speaker 4: of Mike and the Mad Dog because just seeing those
- 1:09Speaker 4: two interact in the wild would be a dream for me.
- 1:15Speaker 1: If you had to choose one, though, you can't choose both.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It has to be either Christopher Mad Dog Russo or
- 1:21Speaker 2: Mike Francesa.
- 1:22Speaker 1: And you get to observe everything that's going on.
- 1:25Speaker 4: So I would pick Mad Dog in that situation because
- 1:28Speaker 4: I could see Francesa almost turtling up at a wedding
- 1:31Speaker 4: where it's like, I don't want to interact with other people.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Dog at least strikes me as somebody who wants to
- 1:37Speaker 4: like cut it up on the dance floor.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Dog strikes me as someone, if it's a good friend,
- 1:42Speaker 2: he's going to go to the wedding. Regardless of who
- 1:45Speaker 2: you are in Mike's life, Mike is taking the buyout clause.
- 1:48Speaker 2: How much do I have to put in an envelope
- 1:50Speaker 2: to not go.
- 1:51Speaker 1: To your wedding?
- 1:53Speaker 2: That's the way I experience it. I would go with
- 1:55Speaker 2: Mad Dog as well. I'm glad you chose that. He'll
- 1:57Speaker 2: join us in about five minutes. I asked him to
- 2:00Speaker 2: come on last week. He said he couldn't. He said
- 2:02Speaker 2: he had a wedding on Friday. I said, who schedules
- 2:05Speaker 2: a wedding during football season? He told me someone who's
- 2:08Speaker 2: not a football fan.
- 2:12Speaker 4: If there was a day you would want a wedding, though,
- 2:14Speaker 4: during football season, it would be Friday.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Friday.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Like if you invite me to a Saturday wedding at
- 2:22Speaker 4: this point during college football season, I'm going to be passing.
- 2:26Speaker 4: But begrudgingly, my sister had a baby and the baby
- 2:31Speaker 4: just had its baptism. And my sister was like, hey,
- 2:33Speaker 4: the baptism is going to be on Sunday. And I said,
- 2:35Speaker 4: can't this wait until after football season? But I went
- 2:39Speaker 4: dragging my toes.
- 2:41Speaker 1: The first Sunday after football?
- 2:43Speaker 4: Yes. Like February 25th, let's call it then.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Well, can you do that? I don't know. How does
- 2:50Speaker 1: that work?
- 2:50Speaker 4: I think the baby would have been too big at
- 2:52Speaker 4: that point, they said.
- 2:54Speaker 1: To baptize. The tub's not big enough. Wow.
- 3:01Speaker 2: So Christopher Mad Dog Russo is going to join us
- 3:05Speaker 2: to talk about his wedding last Friday. And we'll talk
- 3:08Speaker 2: a little bit World Series, some football as well. What
- 3:11Speaker 2: did you make of the game last night? The Cowboys
- 3:13Speaker 2: get a much needed win over the Philadelphia Eagles. I
- 3:17Speaker 2: do believe that what happened with Jalen Hurts and that
- 3:20Speaker 2: injury was is perhaps going to give Nick Sirianni a
- 3:23Speaker 2: pass from being fired as the Eagles head coach because
- 3:26Speaker 2: he could just point to the fact that, hey, my
- 3:28Speaker 2: starting quarterback went down for the year. When he's healthy,
- 3:31Speaker 2: I've been to two Super Bowls, and I've been there recently.
- 3:33Speaker 2: But we'll see what happens there.
- 3:36Speaker 1: The story last.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Night was the Cowboys and just how easily, I shouldn't
- 3:39Speaker 2: say how easily, how good the offense looked.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Yeah, that first half gave Eagles fans, I think, a
- 3:44Speaker 4: bit of a sense of false hope that they could
- 3:47Speaker 4: compete with Tanner McKee. Coming out of that game, I
- 3:51Speaker 4: feel more confident that the New York Giants are going
- 3:53Speaker 4: to win the NFC East than I did going into it,
- 3:56Speaker 4: where before it was like the Giants kind of felt
- 3:59Speaker 4: like this scrappy underdog. But then when you're watching that
- 4:02Speaker 4: Cowboys defense in the first half, who couldn't get a stop,
- 4:06Speaker 4: every time the Eagles had a third down, if they
- 4:09Speaker 4: didn't pick up the first down on their own... You
- 4:12Speaker 4: just had to wait like three more seconds for a
- 4:14Speaker 4: flag to come out and the Cowboys would penalize their
- 4:16Speaker 4: way into that. When I watch the Giants, the Giants
- 4:19Speaker 4: at least look like a competent football team. I guess
- 4:22Speaker 4: you could say the Cowboys have this great offense and
- 4:25Speaker 4: Dak's ability to place throws in the end zone was
- 4:29Speaker 4: probably the moments of this game when he's throwing to
- 4:31Speaker 4: CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. But overall, I really don't
- 4:35Speaker 4: trust this Cowboys defense and I think I trust the
- 4:38Speaker 4: Giants in what Harbaugh is doing more than anything that
- 4:41Speaker 4: Dallas could potentially be.
- 4:43Speaker 2: You look at the Giants' schedule and you say to yourself, well,
- 4:46Speaker 2: they have Philly twice still, and they have other good
- 4:47Speaker 2: teams on the schedule, but Philly's not good.
- 4:50Speaker 1: That's the point. It's Philly with Tanner McGee.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It is not the Philadelphia Eagles we have seen over
- 4:56Speaker 2: the last couple of years here. I think if it's
- 5:01Speaker 2: not the Giants, it's going to be the Cowboys. The
- 5:04Speaker 2: Giants have played the Cowboys once already to play them again.
- 5:07Speaker 2: later in the season. But I do think this is
- 5:10Speaker 2: the Giants division. And I can't believe I'm saying that
- 5:13Speaker 2: when you consider that Jackson Dart is hurt and Jameis
- 5:17Speaker 2: Winston wasn't good enough.
- 5:20Speaker 4: If Roger Goodell wants to be a good commissioner for
- 5:22Speaker 4: the NFL, he has to work it into the next
- 5:24Speaker 4: labor agreements that we have to have a clause where
- 5:27Speaker 4: we could opt out of, of NFC East games in primetime,
- 5:31Speaker 4: because if, Going into the season, Cowboys Eagle sounds exciting.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Once you lose the Jalen Hurts factor with the blood clots,
- 5:39Speaker 4: once you have a Cowboys defense that somehow invested all
- 5:44Speaker 4: their resources this off season into the defense and for
- 5:47Speaker 4: the defense to somehow be worse, which doesn't even make sense.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Like nobody wants to see this game on Monday night football.
- 5:53Speaker 4: And then you're like, okay, at least we're, we're, we're
- 5:56Speaker 4: out of this phase right now. Next Sunday night, Sunday
- 5:59Speaker 4: night football, Philadelphia Eagles at the Washington commanders.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Don't want to see it. No desire.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Right.
- 6:05Speaker 1: You're right.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Like let's start flexing earlier, man. I mean, what are
- 6:10Speaker 2: we doing? In honor of Christopher Mad Dog Russo, since
- 6:13Speaker 2: he's coming on here in five minutes, let's win-loss the
- 6:16Speaker 2: remainder of.
- 6:19Speaker 1: The Giants schedule. You want to do it? Always. They're
- 6:23Speaker 1: at Philadelphia. That's a win. That's a win.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Philadelphia's sliding right now.
- 6:30Speaker 1: J.J.
- 6:31Speaker 2: McCarthy.
- 6:31Speaker 1: They're home against Washington.
- 6:34Speaker 4: I think that's a win.
- 6:36Speaker 1: It's a win. They're home against Jacksonville. That's a loss. Loss.
- 6:40Speaker 1: You got to find some losses somewhere. They're not that good.
- 6:42Speaker 1: They're good. Not that good. At Indianapolis.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Win.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Win. Home against San Francisco.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Loss.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Hmm. I'm sorry. I just did that. At Seattle. Loss.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Loss.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Okay. Home against Cleveland.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Loss.
- 7:01Speaker 4: They're sliding right now.
- 7:03Speaker 1: The Giants are. Yes. Yes.
- 7:06Speaker 2: The Giants, who you just had winning the division, now
- 7:09Speaker 2: suddenly when you play it out, they might not be
- 7:11Speaker 2: winning the division.
- 7:13Speaker 1: At Detroit, loss. Loss.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Now at this point, the Giants haven't won a game
- 7:18Speaker 4: for me in a month.
- 7:20Speaker 1: And then they go to Dallas law.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So now I'm going to do Dallas's schedule real quick
- 7:26Speaker 2: in honor of Mike and the mad dog. Cause maybe
- 7:29Speaker 2: both you and I are wrong. It's not the giant division.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Maybe the Cowboys are just fine. Cowboys next week, home
- 7:34Speaker 2: against Arizona.
- 7:37Speaker 4: That Arizona team's tricky. Let's say window.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:41Speaker 4: At Indianapolis loss. That Colts team doesn't have a pulse.
- 7:46Speaker 4: And that's right when you're saying, yes, yes. That's a
- 7:48Speaker 4: win for the Cowboys. That's right before the trade deadline. When,
- 7:52Speaker 4: when you would expect people like Jonathan Taylor to be
- 7:54Speaker 4: on the move.
- 7:55Speaker 1: All right. So the Cowboys right now are five and four.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Cause we have them winning the last, the next two games,
- 8:00Speaker 2: a home against San Francisco loss.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:03Speaker 2: So they're five and five home against Tennessee. When six
- 8:06Speaker 2: and five home against Philadelphia, when seven and five at
- 8:11Speaker 2: Seattle loss, seven at six at Rams, Loss.
- 8:17Speaker 1: 7-7. Home against the Jags.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Loss.
- 8:20Speaker 4: I think that Jaguars offense would be licking their chops
- 8:22Speaker 4: to go against this Cowboys defense right now. 7-8.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Home against the Giants, perhaps for the division.
- 8:28Speaker 4: I think this game is probably going to be between
- 8:34Speaker 4: two sub-500 teams for the division. And the fact that
- 8:38Speaker 4: the Giants have the tie could be, I guess, the tiebreaker.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yes.
- 8:45Speaker 2: And then they go to Washington, the final game of
- 8:47Speaker 2: the season. I'm not certain it is the Giants division.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I think it might be the Cowboys. That's why we
- 8:55Speaker 2: shouldn't be doing this stuff. In October, armed with very
- 9:00Speaker 2: little information. Let's go to Christopher Mandogra. So he is
- 9:06Speaker 2: fresh off a wedding. I can't wait to speak to him.
- 9:09Speaker 2: You imagine mad. What do you imagine to be like
- 9:11Speaker 2: at a wedding? Like people are just cornered him and
- 9:12Speaker 2: they're asking him a ton of questions.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:15Speaker 4: So I'm just thinking about how I would react if
- 9:17Speaker 4: I saw a mad dog at one of my friend's weddings,
- 9:20Speaker 4: if he was a family friend.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:23Speaker 4: And I would be going up to him and asking
- 9:26Speaker 4: him how much longer does Mike Brown have on his
- 9:28Speaker 4: leash before we start talking hot seat? And I can't
- 9:31Speaker 4: imagine he would want to answer that. He won a
- 9:34Speaker 4: title last year.
- 9:35Speaker 1: You were fine until they lost to the Magic at home, right?
- 9:38Speaker 4: Yeah, without Paulo Boncaro, yeah. But the Heat keep losing,
- 9:42Speaker 4: so at least the Heat right now, for me, are
- 9:45Speaker 4: the gift that keeps on giving.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Yes, but Philly keeps winning. You're good, though. You're good
- 9:53Speaker 1: for a year, at least.
- 9:55Speaker 4: I'm not good. The fan base, I think, is good, but.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I'm not good. The fan base.
- 10:00Speaker 2: and you're upset with the fan base. The fan base
- 10:02Speaker 2: should not settle for one title with the Knicks.
- 10:04Speaker 4: You know, this is all on the Knicks fans who
- 10:06Speaker 4: spent last season saying, if we win a championship, I
- 10:08Speaker 4: don't care what happens next year.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Get ready.
- 10:10Speaker 4: The basketball gods heard you guys. Yes.
- 10:13Speaker 2: What's happening the next year is something that you and
- 10:17Speaker 2: I don't like because I'm starting to get pissed off
- 10:18Speaker 2: as well.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Yeah, they put this into the universe. You told them
- 10:21Speaker 4: you were willing to sacrifice an entire season for one championship,
- 10:24Speaker 4: and now the basketball gods are coming to collect.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Yes, I mean, last year in the offseason, Jalen Brunson
- 10:29Speaker 2: spent every Saturday night shooting buckets in a gym, just
- 10:33Speaker 2: a gym rat, just bucket after bucket after bucket after bucket,
- 10:36Speaker 2: getting ready.
- 10:37Speaker 1: For the season, trying to make a title run.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Then they win the title, and he spends his Saturday
- 10:41Speaker 2: nights trying to be a stand-up comedian.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I mean, what are we doing? But he changed your life.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry. We love Jalen Brunson, right?
- 10:48Speaker 4: I'll never say a bad word about Jalen Brunson.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Josh Hart, though?
- 10:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Matt and Doug Russo next.
- 10:58Speaker 2: It makes me smile every time I see Christopher Mad
- 11:00Speaker 2: Dog Russo on my Zoom.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I love the man. I really do. I love him
- 11:04Speaker 1: so much.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Check him out, Mad Dog Unleashed, 3 to 6 on
- 11:07Speaker 2: SiriusXM every single day.
- 11:10Speaker 1: He is great.
- 11:10Speaker 2: You can also check him out, of course, on First Take. Dog,
- 11:14Speaker 2: I want to start here. How is the shoulder? How
- 11:16Speaker 2: are you feeling, Dog? Let's start there.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel pretty good. The shoulder is getting better.
- 11:20Speaker 3: You know, this is the two-month date, matter of fact,
- 11:23Speaker 3: August 27th. I would say way ahead of schedule with
- 11:27Speaker 3: the rehab. Don't have to wear any elbow braces. You know,
- 11:30Speaker 3: can sleep normally. Finally, good drive. You know, as far
- 11:35Speaker 3: as going out there and swinging a golf club, I
- 11:37Speaker 3: can't do that. I can't even jog yet. And I
- 11:40Speaker 3: certainly can't play tennis. But I think, you know, I
- 11:43Speaker 3: knew this was going to be a process. I would
- 11:45Speaker 3: like to thank Stu by. Maybe middle of March, I'll
- 11:50Speaker 3: be able to play golf. The issue that will be
- 11:55Speaker 3: tricky the most will be the serving in tennis. I
- 11:57Speaker 3: think that will be the last thing. Maybe to come around.
- 12:00Speaker 3: He did have a major tear in that rotator cuff.
- 12:04Speaker 3: But overall, I got to be pretty happy. Haven't had
- 12:07Speaker 3: any pain. The rehab has been relatively pain-free, which has
- 12:11Speaker 3: shocked people. I have good range of motion. Not using
- 12:14Speaker 3: any weights, but good range of motion.
- 12:16Speaker 1: So overall, pretty good.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Got to be happy. I got through it okay.
- 12:20Speaker 1: All right. Doggie, you can go with the underhand serve
- 12:22Speaker 1: if you have to.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I mean, you know, the ground strokes.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I mean, PMAC, Patrick McEnroe had this a year ago.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yes.
- 12:28Speaker 3: And he is still not being he's still not really
- 12:30Speaker 3: able to serve. Now, the difference I've talked to him
- 12:32Speaker 3: about it. First of all, that was his third shoulder surgery,
- 12:36Speaker 3: not rotator cuff, but surgery. The other thing I did
- 12:39Speaker 3: to PRP. which is to take the blood out of
- 12:42Speaker 3: your left vein and they mix it to get the plasma.
- 12:47Speaker 3: And then the surgeon gets a big needle and sticks
- 12:50Speaker 3: it in your right shoulder. I did that twice the
- 12:54Speaker 3: day I had the surgery and I did it on
- 12:56Speaker 3: September 14th. And it supposedly has a very big therapeutic effect.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And PMAC did not do that. And I talked to
- 13:06Speaker 3: him about it. I said, Pat, how come you didn't?
- 13:07Speaker 3: It seemed to help me. So he was going to
- 13:09Speaker 3: go check why he didn't do it. But he still
- 13:12Speaker 3: can't serve. And he had it done last October. So
- 13:14Speaker 3: there you go.
- 13:14Speaker 1: All right. Doug, I asked you to come on last week.
- 13:18Speaker 2: You nicely told me that you couldn't because you had
- 13:20Speaker 2: a wedding to attend.
- 13:22Speaker 1: And I responded to you on a Friday.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Who the hell is throwing a wedding on a Friday
- 13:26Speaker 2: during football season?
- 13:28Speaker 1: What the hell happened, dog?
- 13:30Speaker 3: A non-football fan, non-sports fan. Game one of the World Series.
- 13:35Speaker 3: It's my college roommate from Rollins, way, way back, 1978, 1979.
- 13:39Speaker 3: His daughter, south of Asbury Park, a couple of miles.
- 13:45Speaker 3: His daughter got married on Friday at 5 o'clock. Excellent wedding. buffet,
- 13:52Speaker 3: which I like so much better, right on the ocean. And,
- 13:56Speaker 3: you know, he's a very good friend of mine who
- 13:58Speaker 3: I've known for 50 something years, went to Scotland with
- 14:00Speaker 3: me when I was 60 to play golf, him and
- 14:02Speaker 3: 11 others. So, I mean, it was something that it
- 14:05Speaker 3: was important to go and I'm glad I did. But
- 14:07Speaker 3: you're right. World Series five. I missed it. I saw
- 14:11Speaker 3: the last four or five innings because I got back
- 14:13Speaker 3: about nine, nine thirty. I saw the last four or
- 14:15Speaker 3: five innings and I and there was no football to
- 14:19Speaker 3: watch really anyway. Right. I did take the day off
- 14:22Speaker 3: and I felt, you know, he asked me to come
- 14:23Speaker 3: on that day. I says, geez, I can't do Stugatz.
- 14:26Speaker 3: When I'm not going to be on my own show,
- 14:28Speaker 3: I'm taking a day off. So that is the reason why.
- 14:31Speaker 3: That's the reason I passed. That's the reason I passed.
- 14:34Speaker 2: How is Christopher Mad Dog Rizzo at a wedding? Because
- 14:37Speaker 2: Taylor and I were talking about this. Are you cutting
- 14:40Speaker 2: up the dance floor? What are you doing here?
- 14:42Speaker 3: I didn't dance because I didn't want to bump the shoulders.
- 14:46Speaker 3: And it was an excellent band. I think this one,
- 14:50Speaker 3: I was a little cranky because I had a lot
- 14:52Speaker 3: of my roommates, friends who I hadn't seen in a
- 14:56Speaker 3: long time and some I know, some I don't. Ask
- 14:58Speaker 3: me a million sports questions, which, you know, with loud music,
- 15:02Speaker 3: 150 people, a Friday afternoon, you know, and I'm breaking
- 15:06Speaker 3: down why the Yankees signed Stanton instead of Yelich back
- 15:09Speaker 3: in 2018. I mean, and then I'm getting a little
- 15:13Speaker 3: cranky about it.
- 15:13Speaker 1: You're doing a sports radio show, but you're not getting
- 15:15Speaker 1: paid for it.
- 15:16Speaker 3: I'm doing a sports talk. But that happens to guys
- 15:18Speaker 3: like you and me that come with that part of
- 15:20Speaker 3: the territory. You just got to deal with it. But
- 15:22Speaker 3: I had a little of that. Had a little of that, Stu,
- 15:25Speaker 3: on Friday. And I'm usually very good with that. But
- 15:28Speaker 3: I was a little cranky for a few minutes there
- 15:31Speaker 3: on Friday. And the great Jeannie Russo said, let's get
- 15:34Speaker 3: out of here, get a breath of fresh air. It's
- 15:36Speaker 3: right on the ocean.
- 15:37Speaker 1: And I did.
- 15:38Speaker 3: And that seemed to have a soothing effect. And I
- 15:42Speaker 3: came back in better spirits, a big fat smile on
- 15:45Speaker 3: my face, which is most important.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Doug, what was the argument for Yelich over Stanton? What
- 15:51Speaker 4: was the guy.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Trying to say? The person there was annoyed that Cashman
- 15:58Speaker 3: signed Stanton and didn't sign Yelich. Now, I mean, there's
- 16:02Speaker 3: a lot of things you get mad at Cashman about.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Eight years ago, signing Stanton over Yelich may not be
- 16:07Speaker 3: one of them. And not only that, Stanton two years
- 16:10Speaker 3: ago hit about a billion home runs as the Yankees
- 16:12Speaker 3: got to the World Series. Let's not forget that. He
- 16:15Speaker 3: made a huge contribution. Now, listen, he never plays. He's
- 16:17Speaker 3: hurt a lot. But it's not like Yelich is Henry Aaron.
- 16:20Speaker 3: He has been very up and down for Milwaukee. He
- 16:23Speaker 3: doesn't even play against certain left-hand pitching. And they gave
- 16:25Speaker 3: him $ 222 million. And they gave it to him when
- 16:28Speaker 3: he was in the midst of his MVP run. Now,
- 16:31Speaker 3: he hasn't been that good lately, but they're going to
- 16:33Speaker 3: win a championship. So, I mean, I guess because Yelich
- 16:36Speaker 3: is on a winning team, he was annoyed at Cashman.
- 16:39Speaker 3: And I just didn't want to break down Bryant. That
- 16:41Speaker 3: was the day he signed, you know, Cashman. Last week,
- 16:45Speaker 3: you know, when he said I was lock and loaded
- 16:48Speaker 3: and a lot of Yankee fans don't like, you know,
- 16:49Speaker 3: lock and loaded. You've been in here for 30 years.
- 16:51Speaker 3: I mean, geez, maybe low key, maybe low key the
- 16:55Speaker 3: fact that you're returning. And so that was the debate.
- 16:59Speaker 3: And again, at 730 at night with the band playing
- 17:03Speaker 3: Ties That Bind with a million people there, it was
- 17:07Speaker 3: a little tricky, a little tricky.
- 17:09Speaker 1: By the way, Taylor would be one of those people.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I mean, there's a way to handle it. There's a
- 17:16Speaker 3: way to handle it for the for the person and
- 17:17Speaker 3: a way to handle it for me. And I handled
- 17:20Speaker 3: it badly and I felt bad about it. And I
- 17:22Speaker 3: actually apologized yesterday. I don't know who the person was,
- 17:24Speaker 3: but right. Little Stanton and Yelich at 7.30 on a
- 17:27Speaker 3: Friday night might be a little, I think you'd agree, Stu?
- 17:29Speaker 4: Yes.
- 17:30Speaker 3: A little overboard in that situation?
- 17:32Speaker 1: Yeah, that's where I draw the line.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It's when you start asking me about Stanton, Yelich, or
- 17:36Speaker 2: what I think the Dolphins are going to do in
- 17:37Speaker 2: the draft.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I mean.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Speaking of the Dolphins, that was a great win they
- 17:41Speaker 3: had on Sunday afternoon. They did a good job.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I mean, they beat the Jets.
- 17:45Speaker 3: I mean, still, the guy's first win, you know, Willis
- 17:48Speaker 3: played a little better.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yes.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Jets are a rival. I mean, again, I know you're
- 17:53Speaker 3: not going to make the playoffs, but... You got to
- 17:55Speaker 3: start somewhere, right?
- 17:56Speaker 1: You have to start somewhere if you're the Dolphins. You're right.
- 17:58Speaker 2: But as a Jeff fan, dog, I've been a Jeff
- 18:00Speaker 2: fan my entire life. Can Aaron Glenn at least act
- 18:02Speaker 2: like he cares? I mean, I.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Think that Glenn probably is going to. I'd be surprised
- 18:10Speaker 3: if he survives. Now, listen, the one thing about Woody,
- 18:13Speaker 3: Woody doesn't want to pay him 30 million dollars. Somehow
- 18:16Speaker 3: he got a five year, 50 million dollar contract, which
- 18:18Speaker 3: I said, really, Aaron Glenn? A defensive coordinator on an
- 18:22Speaker 3: offensive team, you gave him $ 50 million to coach. The
- 18:25Speaker 3: Giants gave Harbaugh $ 100 million a couple of years later,
- 18:28Speaker 3: but Harbaugh had won a Super Bowl. And the Giants
- 18:31Speaker 3: were in desperate straits. I mean, the Jets, they were
- 18:34Speaker 3: in desperate straits too. Don't get me wrong, but boy,
- 18:36Speaker 3: oh boy. I don't know if he's going to have
- 18:38Speaker 3: to eat that because, you know, he can afford it. But,
- 18:42Speaker 3: I mean, no owner, you know, wants to eat $ 30
- 18:44Speaker 3: million and then pay the next guy $ 10 million a
- 18:47Speaker 3: year and have $ 40 million in his coach's pocket. And
- 18:49Speaker 3: they might be in that situation with Glenn because I
- 18:52Speaker 3: don't know how you keep him for next year, Stu.
- 18:54Speaker 3: It's a drastic improvement, which to me is not, it
- 18:59Speaker 3: doesn't seem like it's about to happen. Let's put it
- 19:01Speaker 3: that way.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Doug, on the topic of the Jets, the Jets play
- 19:05Speaker 4: the Raiders this week on Fox Sports. Does it bother
- 19:08Speaker 4: you when Kevin Burkhart spends half the broadcast selling you
- 19:11Speaker 4: on how great next week's games are supposed to be?
- 19:13Speaker 3: But I did that. I did that this week. I
- 19:15Speaker 3: did that this week. It's a staple. I mean, you know,
- 19:19Speaker 3: when Fox's schedule is Cards Dallas, is Chargers Rams, Atlanta, Tampa.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Raiders, Jets. You cannot sit there and tell me what
- 19:33Speaker 3: a schedule we have for you on Sunday with the NFL.
- 19:36Speaker 1: We're not idiots.
- 19:36Speaker 3: We're going to be great gamers at one o'clock. I mean, Kev,
- 19:40Speaker 3: I understand you got to hype it up, but we're
- 19:42Speaker 3: not dumb fans. OK, we know that schedule stinks. I
- 19:46Speaker 3: know you got to promote it, but just promote it normally.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Hey, here's our schedule next week.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Tom and I will be in Detroit for the Vikings
- 19:53Speaker 3: and move on to the next play, for crying out loud.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Oh, way over the board.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Way over the top.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Way over the top. Uh, doggy quickly.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I want to ask you about John Harbaugh, but I
- 20:01Speaker 2: just want to go back to the wedding for a second.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Because I'm fascinated about you.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I want to stay right there. Wait. So you like,
- 20:10Speaker 1: you like the buffet over the, over the meals.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Uh, I had a great cocktail party buffet. Now you
- 20:17Speaker 3: got a lot of people in line. You got to
- 20:19Speaker 3: pick your spots, but the good thing about the buffet,
- 20:21Speaker 3: you can eat when you want to eat.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:23Speaker 3: And pick what you want.
- 20:24Speaker 1: It's a variety.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Big plate of food in front of you. If it's
- 20:27Speaker 3: a small plate, that works too.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Yes.
- 20:30Speaker 3: And the other thing is, is that you're not waiting
- 20:32Speaker 3: around to cut the cake, you know? I mean, so
- 20:35Speaker 3: as a result of that, it just seemed like a
- 20:37Speaker 3: little more appropriate.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Yes.
- 20:39Speaker 3: There is an opportunity to move it along a little quicker.
- 20:43Speaker 1: So from that standpoint.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Right.
- 20:45Speaker 3: That is something I will consider when my daughter gets married,
- 20:50Speaker 3: which I'll say she will. And then I'll say, Kira,
- 20:53Speaker 3: one thing, quick buffet in and out so people aren't
- 20:56Speaker 3: here for seven hours. Let's do it that way.
- 20:58Speaker 1: It's her wedding, dawg.
- 21:00Speaker 3: I'm paying for it, dawg. I don't know if she's
- 21:03Speaker 3: going to go along with that because I think you
- 21:05Speaker 3: and I both know you were two great lacrosse players.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Men should stay out of that. Let the daughters and
- 21:10Speaker 3: the wives do the wedding.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Far away from it. Band or DJ? You like
- 21:15Speaker 1: the band. You don't like the DJ.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Yeah, band much better. Yeah, band much better.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:18Speaker 1: And it was a good band. Played some Bruce.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Very excellent, excellent, excellent band.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 3: You know, obviously at the Jersey Shore, you're going to
- 21:26Speaker 3: get a lot of Bruce. Right. but we're having a
- 21:30Speaker 3: party by Southside, Johnny. I mean, a lot of good stuff.
- 21:34Speaker 3: It was an excellent wedding, and the setting was great,
- 21:36Speaker 3: and the bar called the Old Commons in Avon-by-the-Sea in
- 21:41Speaker 3: Jersey was excellent. It was actually a— I' m very happy I went.
- 21:45Speaker 3: It was a good evening. It really was.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Outside of the yellish conversation, it was a fantastic— Outside.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Of that, and there was a couple of others where
- 21:52Speaker 3: I was getting a little cranky, which I have to
- 21:54Speaker 3: do a better job of, and I usually do. But
- 21:57Speaker 3: they caught me in a little noisy, and I got
- 22:01Speaker 3: to be a little better than that.
- 22:02Speaker 2: All right, and I'm sorry to bog down on this,
- 22:04Speaker 2: but because I've been there with my wife, so she's
- 22:06Speaker 2: had to bail me out of some of these situations.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Your wife just noticed that you were getting upset?
- 22:10Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, Jeannie's been with me for 31 years.
- 22:14Speaker 3: She notices when there might be– A fan who goes
- 22:19Speaker 3: a little over the top.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And she gets you out of it.
- 22:24Speaker 3: And she goes, honey, let's go take a walk. You know,
- 22:27Speaker 3: I got to go out to the car. I left
- 22:29Speaker 3: something in the car. She knows what to say to
- 22:33Speaker 3: sort of take me away from a situation that's a
- 22:36Speaker 3: little combustible.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. That's fantastic. She's fantastic.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Nice job on the Heat. They're playing good basketball. Giannis
- 22:45Speaker 3: is going to wish... He's going to want to be
- 22:48Speaker 3: in Brooklyn before too long, for crying out loud.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Why do you say it like I'm a Heat fan?
- 22:53Speaker 4: I can't stand the Heat.
- 22:54Speaker 3: I mean, the Heat are going to be... That team...
- 22:56Speaker 3: I mean, the idea that Giannis thought he was going
- 22:58Speaker 3: to win a championship with the Heat with that surrounding
- 23:02Speaker 3: cast outside of Adubato. What, are you kidding me? You're
- 23:04Speaker 3: not going to win a championship there, for crying out loud.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I mean.
- 23:08Speaker 2: He's rendered Bam meaningless because they play the same game, essentially.
- 23:12Speaker 2: What's funny about Taylor up here, as a Knicks fan
- 23:14Speaker 2: who waited for a championship his entire life, Jalen Brunson
- 23:17Speaker 2: has changed his life.
- 23:18Speaker 1: He's already running Mike Brown out of town.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yeah, the Knicks are in a very tricky spot. You know,
- 23:25Speaker 3: when you win a championship... You bring the same, basically,
- 23:29Speaker 3: team back. I know they exchanged Robinson for Drummond. But
- 23:31Speaker 3: you bring basically the same team back. You waited 53 years.
- 23:36Speaker 3: It was a very celebratory situation. The offseason's short. And
- 23:42Speaker 3: then all of a sudden, the next season starts. You
- 23:45Speaker 3: win it in the middle of June. And in early October,
- 23:48Speaker 3: that is a very, very difficult turnaround. In football, you
- 23:52Speaker 3: win in February. The season doesn't start until the following September.
- 23:56Speaker 3: So as a result of that, you get a little
- 23:58Speaker 3: more time. And I do think the Knicks are going
- 24:01Speaker 3: to be in a hangover stage for a while. And
- 24:04Speaker 3: I also think the fans will be, you know, I mean,
- 24:07Speaker 3: how's the fan supposed to get where I think the
- 24:09Speaker 3: fan is good for a while. They, you know, they
- 24:11Speaker 3: hadn't won forever.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Correct.
- 24:13Speaker 3: I think that's going to, I think that's going to
- 24:15Speaker 3: have an effect on the Knicks. And I think the
- 24:16Speaker 3: Knicks will, it will take a long time this year
- 24:19Speaker 3: for the Knicks to get their groove back. And if
- 24:22Speaker 3: you're a Knicks fan, you got to hope by the
- 24:23Speaker 3: post season late in the year, you feel like the
- 24:26Speaker 3: Knicks again, because I think they will definitely struggle in
- 24:29Speaker 3: a regular season to get a little bored and, They
- 24:32Speaker 3: know they're good in the playoffs. Home court is not imperative.
- 24:35Speaker 3: They won in Atlanta. They didn't have home court against
- 24:37Speaker 3: the Spurs. You know, they killed Cleveland in Cleveland without
- 24:41Speaker 3: the home with, or they did have the home court
- 24:43Speaker 3: against Cleveland, but you get the idea. I think the
- 24:45Speaker 3: Knicks know they can win on the road. Now I
- 24:47Speaker 3: think Philly's dangerous. I think Philly has got a chance
- 24:50Speaker 3: to be very good at great starting five and they
- 24:52Speaker 3: got a lot of firepower. So I think the Sixers
- 24:55Speaker 3: are going to be good, but I think the Knicks
- 24:57Speaker 3: will have trouble. I really do to get themselves rearranged
- 25:00Speaker 3: for the season.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Mad Dog Unleashed, 3 to 6 p.m. Eastern on Sirius XM.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Mad Dog Radio. We'll get you out of here on
- 25:07Speaker 2: this note, doggie. John Harbaugh, Coach of the Year, NFL
- 25:10Speaker 2: so far?
- 25:12Speaker 3: Well, you can also say Monk in Cleveland, 5-2. But
- 25:16Speaker 3: Harbaugh has done it. I mean, I think you'd have
- 25:18Speaker 3: to say Harbaugh because of his injuries. I mean, he
- 25:20Speaker 3: lost his starting quarterback. He lost his best defensive player
- 25:24Speaker 3: in Burns with the ACL. Uh, the team did not, uh,
- 25:29Speaker 3: you know, I mean, they got a little break against
- 25:31Speaker 3: Tennessee and Arizona, you know, they could have easily lost
- 25:34Speaker 3: both those games. And if they did Arizona first down
- 25:37Speaker 3: at the giant four yard line in the last 30 seconds, Arizona, uh, Tennessee,
- 25:42Speaker 3: you know, throw the ball in the end zone from
- 25:43Speaker 3: the 10 yard line and down 12, six, they could
- 25:46Speaker 3: have easily lost those two games. And even the commanders.
- 25:50Speaker 3: I mean, you know, so you got a team that
- 25:53Speaker 3: is fragile and the Giants were without the quarterback. That
- 25:57Speaker 3: is dangerous if you lose a couple of those kind
- 25:59Speaker 3: of games that could tilt either way. And then they
- 26:02Speaker 3: get McCarthy. I was a little surprised he put McCarthy
- 26:05Speaker 3: in there. He played well there against Houston. They caught
- 26:07Speaker 3: Houston at a perfect time. Division's terrible. The Eagles are
- 26:12Speaker 3: a mess. Washington isn't very good. Dallas is your typical Dallas.
- 26:17Speaker 3: I mean, they got a chance. They got a nice
- 26:19Speaker 3: bye week. Giants only play one game in three weeks.
- 26:22Speaker 3: They play their Thursday game next week against Washington. They
- 26:25Speaker 3: have 10 more days off. So they only got one
- 26:28Speaker 3: game in three weeks. That will help them. And he's
- 26:30Speaker 3: a good coach. Everybody knows he's the boss. They gave
- 26:35Speaker 3: him $ 100 million five years. Everybody knows he's the boss.
- 26:38Speaker 3: So the Scataboos and the Nigel and the kid who
- 26:41Speaker 3: got cut, you know, if you say something you don't like,
- 26:43Speaker 3: he's going to get rid of you. I mean, that's
- 26:45Speaker 3: just the way it is. And I think, you know,
- 26:46Speaker 3: he's coaching like Lombardi used to coach. And he's got
- 26:49Speaker 3: the authority to do that. He's bigger than the GM.
- 26:53Speaker 3: So he's got the authority to do that. So I
- 26:55Speaker 3: think overall, he's done a great, he's the MVP of
- 26:57Speaker 3: the team so far.
- 26:59Speaker 1: No question about it.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Taylor's going to have a World Series question, but just
- 27:01Speaker 2: quickly here, you mentioned the GM of the Giants, Joe Shane,
- 27:04Speaker 2: who was a friend of mine.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I'll say it on the front end, okay? I know him.
- 27:07Speaker 2: He's been on the show with me several times. But
- 27:09Speaker 2: Giant fans, I mean, a bunch of phonies they are.
- 27:12Speaker 2: They wanted to run the guy out of town. The
- 27:15Speaker 2: guy got him Jackson Dart. He drafted Malik Nabors. He's
- 27:19Speaker 2: got guys all over the defense. And when their quarterback
- 27:22Speaker 2: went down, he went out and got J.J. McCarthy for
- 27:25Speaker 2: a fifth-round pick. And now all of a sudden they're
- 27:27Speaker 2: celebrating Joe Shane.
- 27:28Speaker 1: It's unbelievable.
- 27:30Speaker 3: That's a very good point. And then the kid who
- 27:32Speaker 3: they drafted a couple of years ago, the corner has
- 27:34Speaker 3: bounced back and played pretty well. He rebuilt the offensive line. Now, listen,
- 27:39Speaker 3: I think Dable had a lot to do with Dart too.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Because I think Dable loved Dart, but he traded up
- 27:44Speaker 3: in the first round to get him. He went from
- 27:45Speaker 3: the second to the first. It's Harbaugh's team, but I
- 27:50Speaker 3: do agree. I think Shane has, the team's got some talent.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I mean, you know, Neighbors was a great pick. You know,
- 27:58Speaker 3: Malachi Fields is going to make a contribution. You know,
- 28:02Speaker 3: getting likely, now that's Harbaugh, but, you know, getting likely
- 28:05Speaker 3: was good too. Yeah, Scott Ibu was a great pick,
- 28:09Speaker 3: the running back. You know, fourth round, I believe it was. So, yeah, 100%. 100% there.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Yes.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I think he's done a good job.
- 28:17Speaker 1: He's the guy who moved up in the draft to
- 28:19Speaker 1: get Josh Allen in Buffalo.
- 28:21Speaker 3: That's true, too.
- 28:21Speaker 1: He was part of it.
- 28:23Speaker 3: And I think Dable, too. You've got to give Dable
- 28:25Speaker 3: a little credit for Dart.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Agreed.
- 28:26Speaker 3: The Giant fan refuses to do it. But you've got
- 28:28Speaker 3: to give Dable a little credit because he's the one
- 28:30Speaker 3: who loved Dart, and that's what I think had a
- 28:32Speaker 3: lot to do with it.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Dog, the Brewers are one win away from their first
- 28:36Speaker 4: World Series. Did it bother you last night watching that
- 28:38Speaker 4: game when it's 10-0, Yandy Diaz bat-flipping an RBI double
- 28:42Speaker 4: that made the score 10-1?
- 28:44Speaker 3: I didn't even see that. Did he really?
- 28:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:47Speaker 1: You have doggy up at 10, nothing world series on
- 28:49Speaker 1: a Monday.
- 28:50Speaker 3: I was watching the Dallas and I went to bed
- 28:52Speaker 3: when a Cowboys kicked the field goal at 31, 21,
- 28:54Speaker 3: because I wanted to get up and be sharp for you.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Um, of course.
- 28:59Speaker 3: No, I did not. Yeah, that's a good man about.
- 29:01Speaker 3: He bat flipped that at 10-0?
- 29:03Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes.
- 29:05Speaker 3: What inning was that? Eighth inning?
- 29:06Speaker 4: The ninth inning. Had one hit up to that point.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Terrible. Yeah, I know.
- 29:10Speaker 3: That's ridiculous.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Listen, if you want Taylor to produce your manabouts, he
- 29:16Speaker 2: will do it all day, all night.
- 29:17Speaker 3: I mean, I got to see that. Was it really bad?
- 29:19Speaker 1: Oh, it was bad, Doug.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Yeah, he pimped it. Did Smotes say anything about it?
- 29:25Speaker 4: No, they kind of just breezed right past it because
- 29:28Speaker 4: it was more of a feel-good story for the Brewers
- 29:30Speaker 4: because Woodruff was pitching.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Right, because he hadn't pitched. Yeah, that is ridiculous.
- 29:37Speaker 1: It's bad, Doug.
- 29:39Speaker 3: I will definitely use that. Nice job, Taylor.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Good job.
- 29:42Speaker 3: You gave me something.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I will use that.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I got to see it to see how much it
- 29:46Speaker 3: bothers me. But if it does, that's a good one.
- 29:48Speaker 3: And no reason to do that. And he should know better.
- 29:51Speaker 1: 100% right.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Nobody listens to more Mad Dog because, Doug, I also
- 29:54Speaker 4: wanted to ask you, is Laura Rutledge the hardest worker
- 29:57Speaker 4: at ESPN?
- 29:58Speaker 3: I thought that was funny yesterday. Did you hear that comment?
- 30:00Speaker 3: I said, I just spent the middle of monologue. I mean, Laura,
- 30:03Speaker 3: Laura could be on the moon on on Saturday and
- 30:06Speaker 3: she's going to get to the NFL spot for the
- 30:09Speaker 3: NBA countdown at the NFL countdown on Monday. I mean, geez.
- 30:12Speaker 3: I mean, Laura, I mean, think about it. I mean,
- 30:15Speaker 3: she's on the road Saturday with the college football. Then
- 30:17Speaker 3: she's all over the place on Monday night. From that standpoint, yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 3: that's a– I just threw that out there because the
- 30:24Speaker 3: TV was on. I said, gee, she's in Philadelphia after
- 30:26Speaker 3: she was in Austin, Texas, and then she's up in
- 30:29Speaker 3: Bristol the whole time. I thought that was a goofy line,
- 30:31Speaker 3: so I.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Threw that out there. Doug, once ESPN gets you, they
- 30:34Speaker 1: got you.
- 30:35Speaker 3: They got it. They use you. Oh, they use you.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I mean, their theory is if you don't do it,
- 30:40Speaker 2: someone else will say yes.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Yeah, hopefully ESPN didn't hear me say that, and I've
- 30:43Speaker 3: also had some laughs with Buck and Aikman, you know,
- 30:46Speaker 3: round five tonight. You know, I've been saying that too, so–
- 30:49Speaker 3: I got to be careful. I got to know where
- 30:51Speaker 3: my bread is buttered.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Do I not, Stu?
- 30:55Speaker 2: You just keep doing your radio show because we love it.
- 30:57Speaker 2: That's how we fell in love with you in the
- 30:59Speaker 2: first place.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I agree. Good boy, John. Good boy. I will tell
- 31:03Speaker 1: you this, though.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I love you using the First Take platform to get
- 31:05Speaker 2: yourself the Brewers manager on your radio show.
- 31:08Speaker 3: That's what you do. That was smart. And I called
- 31:10Speaker 3: the Brewers. We called them a week before that.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I know.
- 31:13Speaker 3: All of a sudden, he's on every radio program and
- 31:15Speaker 3: with you in America. And I said, hold on now.
- 31:18Speaker 3: I've been covering baseball for 40 years, spring training, World Series.
- 31:21Speaker 3: I can't get the guy on? And they kind of
- 31:24Speaker 3: realized it and put him on. So I got a
- 31:26Speaker 3: lot of juice out of that. I got a lot
- 31:27Speaker 3: of juice.
- 31:28Speaker 1: That was fun. All right, dog. Good luck. Feel better. Yep.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Feel better. Get that shoulder rehab in time for golf season. Okay.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Colin told me Russo that the weather has finally broken
- 31:41Speaker 3: in West Palm. It's been a little better the last
- 31:43Speaker 3: week or so. Is that accurate?
- 31:44Speaker 1: Yeah. It's gone from a Taylor. What would you say?
- 31:46Speaker 2: It's gone from nineties to, I want to say low
- 31:48Speaker 2: to mid eighties, but very windy down here and just
- 31:50Speaker 2: storming every day.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:52Speaker 3: The weather's been terrible, he said. He's been here three summers.
- 31:55Speaker 3: He said this was by far the worst one.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 31:57Speaker 2: Worst summer I've ever experienced in 20 summers down here.
- 32:02Speaker 4: It's not bad.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's starting to turn. But the problem is
- 32:04Speaker 1: the wind and the rain.
- 32:05Speaker 2: And so we're about a month away from it, you know,
- 32:08Speaker 2: 77 to.
- 32:10Speaker 1: 82, not a cloud in the sky every day for
- 32:12Speaker 1: about two months.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Except the time when I get down there in January
- 32:15Speaker 3: and it's 29 degrees on a sunny morning, but that's
- 32:17Speaker 3: not even over there.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I keep telling you to stop coming in January. All right.
- 32:23Speaker 3: I'll see you later, Stuart. Lock him down. Taylor, good
- 32:25Speaker 3: to see you, big guy.
