Shemar Vidales Charged in Baby Abuse Case | Columbus News
A 24-year-old man, Shemar Vidales, faces felony assault charges after allegedly beating a 14-month-old toddler with his hand—resulting in shattered ribs, a torn liver, and a damaged spleen. The baby was found unresponsive and blue by his mother when she returned home after being away for 1.5 days. Vidales confessed to striking the child twice because he wouldn’t stop crying.
