• 0:43
  It's
• 0:43
  around
• 0:44
  the
• 0:44
  house,
• 0:45
  because
• 0:45
  last
• 0:46
  thing
• 0:46
  you
• 0:46
  want
• 0:46
  to
• 0:46
  do
• 0:46
  is
• 0:46
  have
• 0:47
  to
• 0:47
  skim
• 0:47
  coat
• 0:48
  and
• 0:48
  do
• 0:48
  another
• 0:48
  finish
• 0:48
  over
• 0:49
  it
• 0:49
  or
• 0:49
  something
• 0:49
  like
• 0:49
  that.
• 0:50
  But
• 0:50
  sometimes
• 0:50
  that's
• 0:51
  almost
• 0:51
  the
• 0:51
  best
• 0:52
  way
• 0:52
  is
• 0:52
  to
• 0:52
  come
• 0:52
  in
• 0:52
  and
• 0:52
  do
• 0:53
  that.
• 0:53
  And
• 0:53
  that's
• 0:53
  the
• 0:54
  same
• 0:54
  thing
• 0:54
  with
• 0:54
  wallpaper.
• 0:55
  You
• 0:55
  know,
• 0:56
  one
• 0:56
  trick
• 0:56
  that
• 0:56
  I've
• 0:56
  learned
• 0:58
  is
• 0:58
  that
• 0:58
  with
• 0:59
  wallpaper,
• 0:59
  if
• 0:59
  you're
• 0:59
  going
• 0:59
  to
• 1:00
  put
• 1:00
  wallpaper
• 1:00
  up
• 1:00
  that
• 1:00
  you
• 1:01
  want
• 1:01
  to
• 1:01
  take
• 1:01
  back
• 1:01
  down
• 1:01
  again,
• 1:02
  and
• 1:02
  wallpaper
• 1:03
  is
• 1:03
  hot
• 1:03
  right
• 1:04
  now.
• 1:04
  The
• 1:04
  secret
• 1:05
  is
• 1:06
  to
• 1:06
  wallpaper
• 1:07
  is
• 1:07
  to
• 1:08
  make
• 1:08
  sure
• 1:08
  that
• 1:08
  you
• 1:08
  have
• 1:09
  two
• 1:10
  really
• 1:11
  good
• 1:11
  coats
• 1:11
  of
• 1:11
  primer
• 1:12
  underneath
• 1:13
  that.
• 1:14
  So
• 1:15
  that
• 1:15
  way
• 1:15
  when
• 1:15
  you
• 1:15
  get
• 1:16
  up
• 1:16
  in
• 1:16
  there
• 1:17
  and
• 1:17
  you've
• 1:17
  got
• 1:17
  that
• 1:18
  drywall,
• 1:19
  basically
• 1:19
  a
• 1:20
  barrier
• 1:20
  between
• 1:20
  the
• 1:20
  glue
• 1:21
  and
• 1:21
  the
• 1:21
  drywall,
• 1:23
  two
• 1:23
  coats
• 1:23
  of
• 1:24
  high
• 1:24
  quality
• 1:24
  primer
• 1:25
  that
• 1:25
  will
• 1:25
  really
• 1:26
  do
• 1:26
  a
• 1:26
  lot.
• 1:27
  And
• 1:27
  that
• 1:27
  will
• 1:27
  make
• 1:28
  that
• 1:28
  so
• 1:28
  it
• 1:28
  is,
• 1:29
  it's
• 1:29
  not
• 1:30
  going
• 1:30
  to
• 1:30
  stick,
• 1:30
  and
• 1:30
  it'll
• 1:30
  come
• 1:30
  off
• 1:30
  pretty
• 1:31
  easy,
• 1:31
  especially
• 1:32
  if
• 1:32
  you
• 1:32
  use
• 1:32
  the
• 1:32
  new
• 1:32
  chemicals,
• 1:33
  strippers
• 1:33
  and
• 1:33
  stuff
• 1:34
  that
• 1:35
  will
• 1:35
  break
• 1:35
  down
• 1:35
  the
• 1:35
  groove
• 1:36
  for
• 1:36
  wallpaper.
• 1:36
  So
• 1:37
  when
• 1:38
  it
• 1:38
  comes
• 1:38
  to
• 1:38
  remodeling
• 1:39
  and
• 1:39
  renovating
• 1:39
  your
• 1:40
  home,
• 1:40
  there
• 1:40
  is
• 1:40
  a
• 1:41
  lot
• 1:41
  to
• 1:41
  know.
• 1:42
  But
• 1:42
  we've
• 1:42
  got
• 1:43
  you
• 1:43
  cover.
• 1:44
  This
• 1:45
  is
• 1:45
  around
• 1:45
  the
• 1:45
  house.
• 1:46
  Welcome
• 1:46
  to
• 1:47
  the

• 1:47
  the
• 1:48
  next
• 1:48
  generation
• 1:49
  of
• 1:49
  home
• 1:49
  improvement.
• 1:49

  head

  to
• 1:56
  monumentgrills.com.
• 1:58
  they
• 1:59
  have
• 1:59
  got
• 1:59
  great
• 1:59
  grills
• 2:00
  for
• 2:00
  an
• 2:00
  under
• 2:00
  $900.
• 2:02
  Who
• 2:02
  doesn't
• 2:02
  like
• 2:03
  some
• 2:03
  awesome
• 2:04
  savings
• 2:04
  and
• 2:05
  quality
• 2:05
  in
• 2:05
  the
• 2:05
  features
• 2:06
  of
• 2:06
  the
• 2:06
  much
• 2:07
  more
• 2:07
  expensive
• 2:07
  grills?
• 2:08
  Today
• 2:09
  we
• 2:09
  are
• 2:09
  going
• 2:09
  to
• 2:09
  talk
• 2:10
  a
• 2:10
  lot
• 2:10
  about
• 2:10
  finishes,
• 2:11
  and
• 2:11
  this
• 2:12
  is
• 2:12
  really
• 2:12
  one
• 2:12
  of
• 2:12
  those
• 2:13
  things
• 2:13
  that
• 2:13
  is
• 2:14
  super
• 2:14
  important.
• 2:14
  It
• 2:15
  doesn't
• 2:15
  matter
• 2:15
  if
• 2:15
  you're
• 2:15
  doing
• 2:15
  something
• 2:16
  inside
• 2:16
  or
• 2:16
  outside.
• 2:17
  Here
• 2:18
  are
• 2:18
  my
• 2:18
  secrets
• 2:19
  to
• 2:19
  making
• 2:19
  sure
• 2:19
  that
• 2:19
  these
• 2:20
  projects
• 2:20
  go
• 2:21
  without
• 2:21
  a
• 2:22
  hitch.
• 2:22
  And
• 2:22
  there's
• 2:23
  a
• 2:23
  lot
• 2:23
  to
• 2:23
  it
• 2:23
  out
• 2:23
  there.
• 2:24
  And
• 2:24
  as
• 2:24
  times
• 2:25
  change
• 2:25
  and
• 2:25
  new
• 2:25
  technologies
• 2:26
  come
• 2:26
  out
• 2:27
  and
• 2:27
  best
• 2:27
  practices
• 2:28
  change
• 2:29
  a
• 2:29
  little
• 2:29
  bit
• 2:29
  from
• 2:29
  time
• 2:30
  to
• 2:30
  time.
• 2:30
  So
• 2:31
  we're
• 2:31
  going
• 2:31
  to
• 2:31
  talk
• 2:31
  about
• 2:31
  the
• 2:31
  secrets
• 2:32
  of
• 2:32
  this.
• 2:33
  Now,
• 2:33
  the
• 2:34
  first
• 2:34
  thing
• 2:34
  here
• 2:34
  I
• 2:34
  wanted
• 2:35
  to
• 2:35
  talk
• 2:35
  about
• 2:35
  in
• 2:36
  finishes
• 2:36
  is
• 2:36
  going
• 2:37
  to
• 2:37
  be
• 2:37
  interior
• 2:37
  paint.
• 2:38
  And
• 2:38
  this
• 2:39
  is
• 2:39
  just
• 2:39
  your
• 2:39
  walls,
• 2:39
  your
• 2:40
  ceilings
• 2:40
  and
• 2:40
  everything
• 2:41
  else.
• 2:41
  And
• 2:41
  it's
• 2:41
  one
• 2:42
  of
• 2:42
  those
• 2:42
  things
• 2:42
  that
• 2:43
  seems
• 2:43
  really
• 2:44
  simple.
• 2:44
  You
• 2:44
  go
• 2:44
  down
• 2:44
  to
• 2:44
  your
• 2:45
  home
• 2:45
  improvement
• 2:45
  store,
• 2:45
  you
• 2:45
  pick
• 2:46
  up
• 2:46
  a
• 2:46
  gallon
• 2:46
  of
• 2:46
  paint,
• 2:46
  you
• 2:46
  get
• 2:47
  some
• 2:47
  rollers
• 2:47
  and
• 2:47
  brushes
• 2:47
  and
• 2:48
  slap
• 2:48
  it
• 2:48
  on
• 2:48
  out.
• 2:49
  But
• 2:49
  really,
• 2:49
  there
• 2:50
  is
• 2:50
  so
• 2:50
  much
• 2:51
  more
• 2:51
  to
• 2:51
  this
• 2:51
  to
• 2:51
  make
• 2:52
  it
• 2:52
  look
• 2:52
  like
• 2:53
  a
• 2:53
  professional
• 2:53
  did
• 2:54
  it
• 2:54
  and
• 2:55
  were
• 2:55
  going
• 2:55
  to
• 2:55
  get
• 2:55
  into
• 2:55
  that
• 2:55
  today.
• 2:56
  Now,
• 2:57
  one
• 2:57
  of
• 2:57
  the
• 2:57
  things
• 2:57
  that
• 2:57
  I
• 2:57
  always
• 2:58
  say
• 2:58
  to
• 2:58
  do
• 2:59
  its
• 2:59
  all
• 2:59
  about
• 2:59
  the
• 3:00
  prep,
• 3:00
  and
• 3:00
  youve
• 3:00
  heard
• 3:01
  me
• 3:01
  say
• 3:01
  this
• 3:01
  before,
• 3:01
  but
• 3:02
  it
• 3:02
  really
• 3:02
  is
• 3:03
  taking
• 3:03
  the
• 3:04
  time
• 3:04
  to
• 3:04
  get
• 3:05
  a
• 3:05
  bath
• 3:06
  towel
• 3:06
  thats
• 3:06
  clean,
• 3:07
  dampen
• 3:07
  it,
• 3:07
  and
• 3:08
  wipe
• 3:08
  all
• 3:08
  the
• 3:08
  walls
• 3:09
  and
• 3:09
  ceilings
• 3:10
  and
• 3:10
  trims
• 3:10
  down,
• 3:11
  get
• 3:11
  everything
• 3:12
  clean
• 3:12
  so
• 3:13
  you
• 3:13
  don't
• 3:13
  have
• 3:13
  any
• 3:13
  adhesion
• 3:14
  problems.
• 3:15
  And
• 3:15
  that's
• 3:15
  just
• 3:15
  in
• 3:16
  a
• 3:16
  regular
• 3:16
  room.
• 3:16
  If
• 3:17
  you're
• 3:17
  in
• 3:17
  a
• 3:17
  bathroom
• 3:18
  or
• 3:18
  a
• 3:18
  kitchen
• 3:19
  where
• 3:19
  you
• 3:19
  could
• 3:19
  have
• 3:20
  oils
• 3:20
  and
• 3:20
  greases
• 3:21
  and
• 3:21
  things
• 3:21
  like
• 3:22
  that,
• 3:22
  it
• 3:23
  can
• 3:23
  be
• 3:23
  a
• 3:23
  lot
• 3:23
  of
• 3:23
  work.
• 3:24
  And
• 3:24
  if
• 3:25
  you've
• 3:25
  tried
• 3:25
  to
• 3:25
  use
• 3:25
  some
• 3:26
  of
• 3:26
  those
• 3:26
  diffusers
• 3:27
  with
• 3:27
  oils,
• 3:28
  you
• 3:28
  could
• 3:28
  also
• 3:29
  have
• 3:29
  a
• 3:29
  film
• 3:29
  of
• 3:30
  oil
• 3:30
  on
• 3:30
  things
• 3:31
  almost
• 3:31
  like
• 3:31
  smokers
• 3:32
  do.
• 3:33
  And
• 3:33
  that's
• 3:34
  another
• 3:34
  layer
• 3:34
  of
• 3:35
  cleaning
• 3:35
  that
• 3:35
  you
• 3:35
  need
• 3:35
  to
• 3:36
  do
• 3:36
  to
• 3:36
  get
• 3:36
  that
• 3:36
  dialed
• 3:37
  in.
• 3:37
  So
• 3:37
  this
• 3:38
  ends
• 3:38
  up
• 3:38
  being
• 3:39
  a
• 3:39
  really
• 3:40
  beautiful
• 3:40
  project.
• 3:41
  So
• 3:41
  really
• 3:41
  it's
• 3:42
  all
• 3:42
  about
• 3:42
  the
• 3:42
  prep.
• 3:42
  It's
• 3:43
  taking
• 3:43
  the,
• 3:44
  and
• 3:44
  patching
• 3:45
  the
• 3:45
  holes,
• 3:45
  making
• 3:46
  sure
• 3:46
  that
• 3:46
  the
• 3:46
  cracks
• 3:47
  are
• 3:47
  sealed
• 3:47
  up.
• 3:48
  One
• 3:48
  trick
• 3:48
  that
• 3:49
  I
• 3:49
  do
• 3:49
  is
• 3:49
  I
• 3:49
  take
• 3:49
  painters
• 3:50
  caulk
• 3:50
  and
• 3:50
  make
• 3:50
  sure
• 3:51
  that
• 3:51
  I
• 3:51
  go
• 3:51
  in
• 3:51
  the
• 3:51
  corners
• 3:52
  and
• 3:52
  get
• 3:52
  those
• 3:52
  things
• 3:53
  really
• 3:53
  dialed
• 3:54
  in.
• 3:54
  Whether
• 3:55
  it's
• 3:55
  between
• 3:55
  the,
• 3:56
  the,
• 3:56
  when
• 3:56
  it's
• 3:56
  drywall
• 3:57
  and
• 3:57
  textured
• 3:57
  between
• 3:58
  the
• 3:58
  ceiling
• 3:58
  and
• 3:58
  the
• 3:59
  walls
• 3:59
  and,
• 3:59
  and
• 4:00
  everything
• 4:00
  else
• 4:00
  like
• 4:00
  that,
• 4:01
  making
• 4:01
  sure
• 4:01
  that
• 4:01
  that
• 4:01
  is
• 4:02
  just
• 4:02
  all
• 4:02
  dried,
• 4:03
  looking
• 4:03
  good,
• 4:04
  caulked
• 4:05
  up,
• 4:05
  filled
• 4:06
  in,
• 4:07
  textured,
• 4:07
  wherever
• 4:08
  you've
• 4:08
  got
• 4:08
  those
• 4:08
  problem
• 4:09
  areas,
• 4:10
  making
• 4:10
  sure
• 4:10
  those
• 4:11
  things
• 4:11
  are
• 4:11
  done.
• 4:12
  Now
• 4:13
  the
• 4:13
  thing
• 4:13
  is,
• 4:13
  whether
• 4:13
  you
• 4:14
  had
• 4:14
  to
• 4:14
  replace
• 4:15
  a
• 4:15
  little
• 4:15
  area
• 4:15
  there
• 4:16
  or
• 4:16
  where
• 4:16
  you
• 4:16
  had
• 4:17
  a,
• 4:17
  maybe
• 4:17
  a
• 4:17
  hole
• 4:17
  in
• 4:18
  a
• 4:18
  drywall,
• 4:18
  you
• 4:18
  had
• 4:18
  to
• 4:18
  do
• 4:19
  some
• 4:19
  repair
• 4:19
  work.
• 4:20
  Here's
• 4:20
  the
• 4:20
  thing.
• 4:21
  Primer
• 4:22
  is
• 4:22
  your
• 4:22
  friend.
• 4:23
  After
• 4:24
  you've
• 4:24
  done
• 4:24
  all
• 4:24
  your
• 4:24
  sanding,
• 4:25
  your
• 4:25
  cleaning,
• 4:26
  you've
• 4:26
  got
• 4:26
  all
• 4:27
  the
• 4:27
  dirt
• 4:27
  and
• 4:27
  dust
• 4:27
  off
• 4:28
  at
• 4:28
  the
• 4:28
  oil
• 4:28
  and
• 4:28
  grease.
• 4:29
  Make
• 4:29
  sure,
• 4:30
  if
• 4:30
  you've
• 4:30
  got
• 4:30
  areas
• 4:31
  you've
• 4:31
  had
• 4:31
  to
• 4:31
  do
• 4:31
  patchwork,
• 4:33
  put
• 4:33
  a
• 4:33
  good
• 4:34
  primer
• 4:34
  on
• 4:34
  it.
• 4:34
  Now,
• 4:35
  if
• 4:35
  you've
• 4:35
  got
• 4:35
  brand
• 4:36
  new
• 4:36
  drywall,
• 4:36
  you
• 4:36
  want
• 4:36
  to
• 4:37
  make
• 4:37
  sure
• 4:37
  that's
• 4:37
  a
• 4:37
  PVA
• 4:38
  primer.
• 4:39
  And
• 4:39
  that
• 4:39
  is
• 4:40
  meant
• 4:40
  to
• 4:40
  seal
• 4:41
  that
• 4:41
  off.
• 4:41
  So
• 4:41
  that
• 4:41
  way
• 4:42
  the,
• 4:42
  the
• 4:43
  paint
• 4:43
  doesn't
• 4:44
  just
• 4:44
  keep
• 4:44
  soaking
• 4:44
  into
• 4:45
  the
• 4:45
  drywall
• 4:45
  because
• 4:45
  that'll
• 4:45
  be
• 4:46
  like
• 4:46
  a
• 4:46
  sponge.
• 4:47
  It'll
• 4:47
  cost
• 4:47
  you
• 4:47
  a
• 4:47
  lot
• 4:47
  of
• 4:48
  money.
• 4:48
  So
• 4:48
  PVA
• 4:49
  Primer
• 4:49
  is
• 4:49
  what
• 4:50
  you
• 4:50
  want
• 4:50
  to
• 4:50
  put
• 4:50
  on
• 4:50
  new
• 4:50
  drywall
• 4:51
  or
• 4:51
  an
• 4:51
  area
• 4:51
  that
• 4:52
  you
• 4:52
  just
• 4:52
  repaired.
• 4:53
  But
• 4:53
  really
• 4:54
  putting
• 4:54
  a
• 4:54
  good
• 4:55
  thick
• 4:55
  primer
• 4:55
  on
• 4:56
  that,
• 4:56
  on
• 4:56
  something
• 4:56
  that
• 4:57
  is
• 4:57
  good,
• 4:57
  especially
• 4:57
  when
• 4:58
  you're
• 4:58
  going
• 4:58
  over
• 4:58
  a
• 4:59
  glossy
• 4:59
  finish,
• 5:00
  maybe
• 5:00
  it
• 5:00
  is
• 5:01
  something
• 5:01
  that
• 5:01
  is,
• 5:02
  has
• 5:02
  had
• 5:02
  some
• 5:02
  issues
• 5:03
  with
• 5:03
  it.
• 5:03
  You've
• 5:03
  had
• 5:03
  some
• 5:04
  sanding.
• 5:04
  You
• 5:05
  need
• 5:05
  to
• 5:05
  even
• 5:05
  out
• 5:05
  an
• 5:05
  area
• 5:06
  because
• 5:06
  maybe
• 5:06
  you
• 5:06
  did
• 5:06
  a,
• 5:07
  and
• 5:07
  here's
• 5:07
  a
• 5:07
  common
• 5:07
  one.
• 5:08
  If
• 5:08
  you
• 5:08
  went
• 5:08
  and
• 5:08
  did
• 5:08
  a
• 5:08
  texture
• 5:09
  on
• 5:09
  an
• 5:09
  area,
• 5:10
  and
• 5:10
  you
• 5:10
  went
• 5:11
  through
• 5:11
  and
• 5:11
  had
• 5:12
  some
• 5:12
  problems,
• 5:13
  like
• 5:13
  brand
• 5:13
  new
• 5:14
  texture
• 5:14
  next
• 5:14
  to
• 5:15
  old
• 5:15
  texture.
• 5:15
  Even
• 5:15
  if
• 5:16
  you
• 5:16
  match,
• 5:16
  the
• 5:16
  texture
• 5:16
  can
• 5:16
  look
• 5:17
  really
• 5:17
  good.
• 5:18
  So
• 5:18
  what
• 5:18
  I
• 5:18
  like
• 5:18
  to
• 5:19
  do
• 5:19
  is
• 5:19
  if
• 5:19
  I
• 5:19
  have
• 5:19
  an
• 5:20
  area
• 5:20
  that
• 5:20
  is
• 5:20
  patched
• 5:21
  up
• 5:21
  and
• 5:21
  it's
• 5:21
  an
• 5:21
  older
• 5:21
  wall,
• 5:22
  you
• 5:22
  need
• 5:23
  to
• 5:23
  put
• 5:23
  a
• 5:23
  few
• 5:23
  layers
• 5:23
  on
• 5:24
  there.
• 5:24
  So
• 5:24
  I
• 5:24
  like
• 5:24
  to
• 5:24
  get
• 5:25
  a
• 5:25
  really
• 5:25
  good
• 5:25
  thicken
• 5:26
  primer
• 5:27
  and
• 5:27
  put
• 5:27
  it
• 5:27
  on
• 5:27
  over
• 5:28
  there.
• 5:28
  Cause
• 5:28
  it's
• 5:28
  gonna,
• 5:29
  it's
• 5:29
  gonna
• 5:29
  make
• 5:29
  that
• 5:30
  patch
• 5:30
  look
• 5:30
  less
• 5:31
  fresh,
• 5:31
  and
• 5:32
  it's
• 5:32
  gonna
• 5:32
  look
• 5:32
  like
• 5:32
  maybe
• 5:32
  it
• 5:33
  had
• 5:33
  a
• 5:33
  couple
• 5:33
  coats
• 5:33
  of
• 5:33
  paint
• 5:33
  on
• 5:34
  it.
• 5:34
  So
• 5:34
  it's
• 5:34
  gonna
• 5:34
  help
• 5:34
  even
• 5:35
  that
• 5:35
  out
• 5:35
  in
• 5:35
  that
• 5:35
  area.
• 5:36
  So
• 5:36
  you
• 5:37
  wanna
• 5:37
  make
• 5:37
  sure
• 5:37
  and
• 5:37
  do
• 5:37
  that.
• 5:38
  And
• 5:38
  if
• 5:38
  you're
• 5:38
  going
• 5:38
  over
• 5:39
  trouble
• 5:39
  colors
• 5:40
  like
• 5:41
  reds
• 5:41
  and
• 5:41
  yellows
• 5:42
  and
• 5:42
  even
• 5:42
  some
• 5:42
  blues,
• 5:43
  it's
• 5:43
  really
• 5:43
  good
• 5:44
  to
• 5:44
  be
• 5:44
  able
• 5:44
  to.
• 5:44
  Or
• 5:44
  a
• 5:44
  super
• 5:45
  dark
• 5:45
  color,
• 5:45
  you're
• 5:45
  going
• 5:46
  light.
• 5:46
  A
• 5:46
  good
• 5:46
  primer
• 5:47
  is
• 5:47
  gonna
• 5:48
  be
• 5:48
  helpful
• 5:48
  right
• 5:48
  there.
• 5:49
  And
• 5:50
  that's
• 5:50
  a
• 5:50
  key.
• 5:50
  Now,
• 5:51
  here's
• 5:51
  the
• 5:51
  mistake
• 5:51
  that
• 5:52
  most
• 5:52
  people
• 5:52
  make,
• 5:53
  including
• 5:53
  myself.
• 5:54
  When
• 5:54
  we're
• 5:55
  doing
• 5:55
  painting
• 5:55
  projects,
• 5:56
  we
• 5:57
  are
• 5:57
  not
• 5:57
  giving
• 5:57
  it
• 5:57
  the
• 5:58
  right
• 5:58
  amount
• 5:59
  of
• 5:59
  time
• 5:59
  to
• 5:59
  dry.
• 6:00
  Maybe
• 6:01
  the
• 6:01
  caulking's
• 6:02
  not
• 6:02
  drying,
• 6:02
  maybe
• 6:02
  the
• 6:03
  muds
• 6:03
  not
• 6:03
  drying,
• 6:04
  maybe
• 6:04
  the
• 6:04
  primer
• 6:04
  is
• 6:05
  not
• 6:05
  drying.
• 6:05
  We
• 6:06
  tend
• 6:06
  to
• 6:06
  push
• 6:06
  it
• 6:06
  because
• 6:07
  we
• 6:07
  want
• 6:07
  the
• 6:07
  project
• 6:07
  to
• 6:08
  get
• 6:08
  done.
• 6:09
  And
• 6:09
  so
• 6:09
  that's
• 6:09
  why
• 6:09
  I
• 6:10
  almost
• 6:10
  like
• 6:10
  to
• 6:10
  have
• 6:10
  two
• 6:11
  painting
• 6:11
  projects
• 6:12
  going
• 6:12
  on
• 6:12
  at
• 6:12
  the
• 6:12
  same
• 6:12
  time,
• 6:13
  because
• 6:13
  I
• 6:13
  could
• 6:13
  bounce
• 6:13
  back
• 6:13
  and
• 6:14
  forth.
• 6:14
  I'm
• 6:15
  not
• 6:15
  staring
• 6:15
  at
• 6:15
  it,
• 6:16
  waiting
• 6:16
  for
• 6:16
  dry
• 6:16
  for
• 6:16
  an
• 6:17
  hour
• 6:17
  or
• 6:17
  two
• 6:17
  or
• 6:18
  three
• 6:18
  or
• 6:18
  four,
• 6:18
  whatever
• 6:19
  it
• 6:19
  takes.
• 6:19
  So
• 6:20
  you
• 6:20
  can
• 6:20
  be
• 6:20
  working
• 6:20
  on
• 6:21
  two
• 6:21
  rooms
• 6:21
  at
• 6:21
  the
• 6:21
  same
• 6:21
  time.
• 6:22
  And
• 6:22
  that's
• 6:23
  a
• 6:23
  good
• 6:23
  way
• 6:23
  to,
• 6:23
  to,
• 6:24
  to
• 6:24
  jump
• 6:24
  off
• 6:24
  that
• 6:25
  project,
• 6:25
  keep
• 6:25
  going
• 6:26
  on
• 6:26
  the
• 6:26
  other
• 6:26
  one,
• 6:26
  or
• 6:27
  just
• 6:27
  go
• 6:27
  take
• 6:27
  a
• 6:27
  break,
• 6:28
  grab
• 6:28
  some
• 6:28
  lunch,
• 6:28
  run
• 6:29
  to
• 6:29
  the
• 6:29
  store,
• 6:29
  do
• 6:29
  some
• 6:29
  of
• 6:29
  the
• 6:30
  stuff
• 6:30
  you
• 6:30
  need
• 6:30
  to
• 6:30
  do
• 6:30
  to
• 6:30
  give
• 6:31
  it
• 6:31
  time.
• 6:31
  And
• 6:32
  that's
• 6:32
  where
• 6:32
  a
• 6:32
  lot
• 6:32
  of
• 6:32
  these
• 6:32
  problems
• 6:33
  happen,
• 6:34
  where
• 6:34
  we
• 6:34
  have,
• 6:35
  ah,
• 6:35
  that
• 6:35
  didn't
• 6:35
  lay
• 6:35
  out
• 6:36
  right.
• 6:36
  Maybe
• 6:36
  you
• 6:36
  didn't.
• 6:37
  You
• 6:37
  put
• 6:37
  the
• 6:37
  primer
• 6:38
  on,
• 6:38
  but
• 6:38
  didn't
• 6:38
  let
• 6:38
  that
• 6:39
  cure
• 6:39
  all
• 6:39
  the
• 6:39
  way
• 6:39
  so
• 6:39
  the
• 6:40
  moisture
• 6:40
  can
• 6:40
  come
• 6:40
  out,
• 6:41
  let
• 6:41
  that
• 6:41
  dry,
• 6:42
  and
• 6:42
  then
• 6:42
  put
• 6:42
  that
• 6:42
  over
• 6:42
  the
• 6:43
  top.
• 6:43
  So
• 6:44
  really
• 6:44
  allowing
• 6:45
  it
• 6:45
  to
• 6:45
  dry
• 6:45
  will
• 6:45
  end
• 6:46
  up
• 6:46
  giving
• 6:46
  you
• 6:46
  a
• 6:47
  much
• 6:47
  better
• 6:47
  finished
• 6:48
  product.
• 6:48
  So
• 6:49
  take
• 6:49
  your
• 6:49
  time
• 6:49
  on
• 6:50
  that
• 6:50
  stuff,
• 6:50
  guys.
• 6:51
  And
• 6:51
  then
• 6:52
  having
• 6:52
  the
• 6:52
  right
• 6:52
  tools
• 6:53
  is
• 6:53
  a
• 6:53
  big
• 6:53
  one.
• 6:54
  Don't
• 6:54
  buy
• 6:54
  the
• 6:54
  cheap
• 6:55
  brushes.
• 6:56
  It's
• 6:56
  all
• 6:56
  about
• 6:57
  getting
• 6:58
  a
• 6:58
  good
• 6:58
  brush
• 6:59
  that
• 6:59
  you
• 6:59
  can.
• 6:59
  I've
• 6:59
  got
• 6:59
  brushes
• 7:00
  I've
• 7:00
  had
• 7:00
  for
• 7:00
  ten
• 7:01
  years.
• 7:01
  Cause
• 7:01
  I
• 7:01
  take
• 7:01
  care
• 7:01
  of
• 7:01
  them.
• 7:02
  So
• 7:02
  buy
• 7:03
  the
• 7:03
  good,
• 7:03
  high
• 7:03
  quality
• 7:04
  brush
• 7:04
  and
• 7:05
  own
• 7:05
  it,
• 7:05
  take
• 7:06
  care
• 7:06
  of
• 7:06
  it.
• 7:06
  If
• 7:06
  you
• 7:06
  get
• 7:06
  some
• 7:07
  dry
• 7:07
  paint
• 7:07
  on
• 7:07
  it,
• 7:07
  which
• 7:08
  can
• 7:08
  happen
• 7:08
  from
• 7:08
  time
• 7:08
  to
• 7:08
  time,
• 7:09
  especially
• 7:09
  on
• 7:09
  big
• 7:09
  projects.
• 7:10
  Get
• 7:11
  some
• 7:11
  of
• 7:11
  the
• 7:11
  good
• 7:11
  brush
• 7:11
  cleaners.
• 7:12
  It'll,
• 7:12
  it'll
• 7:12
  break
• 7:13
  that
• 7:13
  down,
• 7:13
  soak
• 7:13
  it
• 7:14
  in
• 7:14
  that,
• 7:14
  follow
• 7:15
  the
• 7:15
  directions,
• 7:15
  and
• 7:16
  you
• 7:16
  can
• 7:16
  save
• 7:17
  that
• 7:17
  brush.
• 7:17
  It's
• 7:17
  not
• 7:17
  a
• 7:17
  big
• 7:18
  deal.
• 7:18
  They
• 7:18
  make
• 7:18
  stuff
• 7:19
  to
• 7:19
  clean
• 7:19
  that
• 7:19
  up.
• 7:20
  So
• 7:20
  really
• 7:21
  take
• 7:21
  the
• 7:21
  time,
• 7:22
  get
• 7:22
  the
• 7:22
  right
• 7:23
  roller
• 7:23
  covers,
• 7:23
  get
• 7:23
  the
• 7:24
  right
• 7:24
  nap
• 7:24
  of
• 7:24
  the
• 7:25
  roller
• 7:25
  cover.
• 7:25
  If
• 7:25
  it's
• 7:25
  a
• 7:26
  super
• 7:26
  rough
• 7:27
  wall,
• 7:27
  like
• 7:27
  some
• 7:27
  kind
• 7:28
  of
• 7:28
  a
• 7:28
  spanish
• 7:29
  troweled
• 7:29
  on
• 7:29
  texture,
• 7:30
  maybe
• 7:30
  you
• 7:30
  need
• 7:30
  something
• 7:31
  that's
• 7:31
  going
• 7:31
  to
• 7:31
  be
• 7:31
  a
• 7:32
  half
• 7:32
  inch
• 7:32
  or
• 7:32
  even
• 7:32
  a
• 7:33
  three
• 7:33
  quarter
• 7:33
  inch
• 7:33
  thick
• 7:33
  nap
• 7:34
  on
• 7:34
  it.
• 7:34
  Maybe
• 7:35
  a
• 7:35
  three
• 7:35
  eight
• 7:35
  or
• 7:36
  quarter
• 7:36
  is
• 7:36
  great
• 7:36
  for
• 7:36
  a
• 7:37
  smooth
• 7:37
  wall.
• 7:38
  So
• 7:38
  really
• 7:38
  having
• 7:38
  the
• 7:39
  right
• 7:39
  high
• 7:40
  grade
• 7:40
  roller
• 7:41
  cover,
• 7:42
  the
• 7:42
  right
• 7:42
  brushes,
• 7:43
  and
• 7:43
  then
• 7:44
  just
• 7:44
  using
• 7:44
  quality
• 7:44
  materials
• 7:45
  will
• 7:45
  give
• 7:46
  you
• 7:46
  a
• 7:46
  better
• 7:46
  finish.
• 7:47
  And
• 7:47
  it's
• 7:47
  going
• 7:48
  to
• 7:48
  keep
• 7:48
  more
• 7:48
  paint
• 7:48
  on
• 7:48
  the
• 7:48
  wall
• 7:49
  because
• 7:49
  if
• 7:49
  you've
• 7:49
  got
• 7:50
  bad
• 7:51
  rollers,
• 7:51
  it
• 7:52
  flings
• 7:52
  it
• 7:52
  everywhere.
• 7:53
  So
• 7:53
  just
• 7:53
  get
• 7:54
  the
• 7:54
  right
• 7:54
  rollers
• 7:55
  for
• 7:55
  the
• 7:55
  right
• 7:56
  finish
• 7:56
  that
• 7:56
  you're
• 7:56
  putting
• 7:57
  and
• 7:57
  it's
• 7:57
  going
• 7:57
  to
• 7:57
  work
• 7:58
  so
• 7:58
  much
• 7:58
  better.
• 7:59
  Now
• 7:59
  another
• 7:59
  trick
• 8:00
  too
• 8:00
  here,
• 8:00
  and
• 8:00
  this
• 8:00
  is
• 8:00
  a
• 8:01
  big
• 8:01
  one,
• 8:01
  is
• 8:02
  getting
• 8:02
  the
• 8:02
  right
• 8:02
  paint.
• 8:03
  Now
• 8:04
  I
• 8:04
  use
• 8:04
  a
• 8:05
  company
• 8:05
  here
• 8:05
  locally,
• 8:06
  which
• 8:06
  is
• 8:06
  a
• 8:06
  Pacific
• 8:07
  Northwest
• 8:07
  company.
• 8:08
  I
• 8:08
  do
• 8:09
  a
• 8:09
  lot
• 8:09
  with
• 8:09
  Miller
• 8:09
  here.
• 8:10
  Theyre
• 8:10
  a
• 8:10
  northwest
• 8:11
  company,
• 8:11
  but
• 8:11
  if
• 8:11
  youre
• 8:12
  anywhere
• 8:12
  else
• 8:12
  in
• 8:12
  the
• 8:12
  country,
• 8:13
  thats
• 8:13
  not
• 8:13
  going
• 8:13
  to
• 8:13
  mean
• 8:13
  anything
• 8:14
  to
• 8:14
  you.
• 8:15
  But
• 8:15
  really
• 8:15
  theyre
• 8:15
  a
• 8:15
  great
• 8:16
  100
• 8:16
  plus
• 8:16
  year
• 8:16
  old
• 8:17
  company
• 8:17
  here
• 8:17
  in
• 8:17
  the
• 8:17
  Pacific
• 8:18
  northwest.
• 8:18
  But
• 8:19
  ive
• 8:19
  also
• 8:19
  used
• 8:19
  Sherwin
• 8:20
  Williams.
• 8:20
  Sherwin
• 8:20
  Williams
• 8:21
  is
• 8:21
  a
• 8:21
  great
• 8:21
  company.
• 8:21
  Theres
• 8:22
  a
• 8:22
  lot
• 8:22
  of
• 8:22
  great
• 8:22
  paint
• 8:23
  companies
• 8:23
  out
• 8:23
  there
• 8:24
  and
• 8:24
  theres
• 8:24
  a
• 8:24
  lot
• 8:25
  of
• 8:25
  good
• 8:25
  regional
• 8:25
  ones
• 8:25
  as
• 8:26
  well.
• 8:26
  So
• 8:26
  use
• 8:26
  something
• 8:27
  that
• 8:27
  youre
• 8:27
  happy
• 8:27
  with.
• 8:28
  I
• 8:28
  have
• 8:28
  no
• 8:29
  problem
• 8:29
  with
• 8:29
  bear
• 8:30
  as
• 8:30
  a
• 8:30
  brand.
• 8:30
  They
• 8:30
  make
• 8:30
  a
• 8:31
  pretty
• 8:31
  solid
• 8:31
  paint,
• 8:32
  but
• 8:32
  id
• 8:32
  rather
• 8:32
  use
• 8:33
  the
• 8:33
  company
• 8:33
  that
• 8:33
  im
• 8:33
  familiar
• 8:34
  with.
• 8:34
  But
• 8:35
  pick
• 8:35
  the
• 8:35
  brand
• 8:35
  you're
• 8:36
  going
• 8:36
  to
• 8:36
  use
• 8:36
  and
• 8:36
  then
• 8:37
  buy
• 8:37
  a
• 8:37
  decent
• 8:38
  quality
• 8:38
  paint.
• 8:39
  The
• 8:40
  biggest
• 8:40
  and
• 8:40
  most
• 8:40
  expensive
• 8:41
  mistake
• 8:41
  on
• 8:41
  a
• 8:41
  painting
• 8:42
  project
• 8:42
  is
• 8:43
  to
• 8:43
  buy
• 8:43
  the
• 8:43
  cheap
• 8:43
  paint
• 8:44
  because
• 8:44
  you're
• 8:45
  probably
• 8:45
  going
• 8:45
  to
• 8:45
  need
• 8:45
  twice
• 8:46
  as
• 8:46
  much
• 8:46
  and
• 8:47
  then
• 8:47
  you'll
• 8:47
  have
• 8:47
  to
• 8:47
  paint
• 8:48
  it
• 8:48
  half
• 8:48
  as
• 8:48
  quickly
• 8:48
  again.
• 8:49
  So
• 8:50
  get
• 8:50
  in
• 8:50
  there.
• 8:50
  If
• 8:51
  you
• 8:51
  buy,
• 8:51
  if
• 8:51
  you
• 8:51
  see
• 8:51
  a
• 8:52
  dollar,
• 8:52
  40
• 8:52
  gallon
• 8:53
  of
• 8:53
  paint
• 8:53
  is
• 8:53
  their
• 8:53
  cheap
• 8:53
  stuff.
• 8:54
  And
• 8:54
  then
• 8:55
  if
• 8:55
  you
• 8:55
  get
• 8:55
  up
• 8:55
  to
• 8:55
  their
• 8:55
  55
• 8:56
  for
• 8:56
  their
• 8:57
  mid
• 8:57
  to
• 8:57
  upper
• 8:58
  and
• 8:58
  75
• 8:59
  or
• 8:59
  80,
• 8:59
  as
• 9:00
  long
• 9:00
  as
• 9:00
  you're
• 9:00
  in
• 9:00
  that
• 9:00
  mid
• 9:00
  to
• 9:01
  upper
• 9:01
  and
• 9:01
  youre
• 9:02
  going
• 9:02
  to
• 9:02
  get
• 9:02
  the
• 9:02
  higher
• 9:02
  quality
• 9:03
  pigments,
• 9:03
  youre
• 9:04
  going
• 9:04
  to
• 9:04
  get
• 9:04
  something
• 9:04
  thats
• 9:04
  going
• 9:04
  to
• 9:05
  cover
• 9:05
  better.
• 9:06
  Its
• 9:06
  going
• 9:06
  to
• 9:06
  have
• 9:07
  less
• 9:07
  earth
• 9:08
  in
• 9:08
  it
• 9:08
  as
• 9:08
  fillers
• 9:09
  and
• 9:09
  youre
• 9:09
  just
• 9:10
  going
• 9:10
  to
• 9:10
  have
• 9:10
  a
• 9:10
  higher
• 9:10
  quality
• 9:11
  product
• 9:11
  and
• 9:11
  its
• 9:12
  probably
• 9:12
  going
• 9:12
  to
• 9:12
  cover
• 9:12
  better.
• 9:13
  So
• 9:14
  if
• 9:14
  you
• 9:14
  think
• 9:14
  about
• 9:14
  it.
• 9:14
  You
• 9:14
  can
• 9:15
  buy
• 9:15
  the
• 9:15
  cheap
• 9:15
  paint,
• 9:16
  pay
• 9:16
  more
• 9:16
  money
• 9:16
  in
• 9:16
  the
• 9:17
  long
• 9:17
  run
• 9:17
  because
• 9:17
  youre
• 9:17
  going
• 9:17
  to
• 9:17
  need
• 9:17
  to
• 9:17
  buy
• 9:18
  twice
• 9:18
  as
• 9:18
  much
• 9:18
  of
• 9:18
  it
• 9:18
  because
• 9:19
  youll
• 9:19
  have
• 9:19
  to
• 9:19
  put
• 9:19
  an
• 9:19
  extra
• 9:19
  coat
• 9:20
  or
• 9:20
  two
• 9:20
  on
• 9:20
  it
• 9:21
  and
• 9:21
  then
• 9:21
  its
• 9:21
  not
• 9:21
  going
• 9:21
  to
• 9:22
  look
• 9:22
  as
• 9:22
  good.
• 9:23
  So
• 9:23
  thats
• 9:23
  really
• 9:23
  where
• 9:24
  we
• 9:24
  got
• 9:24
  to
• 9:24
  be
• 9:24
  careful
• 9:25
  with
• 9:25
  that
• 9:25
  is
• 9:26
  getting
• 9:26
  the
• 9:26
  right
• 9:27
  grade
• 9:27
  of
• 9:27
  paint
• 9:28
  that
• 9:28
  works
• 9:28
  good.
• 9:29
  Now,
• 9:30
  sure,
• 9:30
  Williams
• 9:30
  doesn't
• 9:30
  make
• 9:31
  bad
• 9:31
  paint,
• 9:31
  but
• 9:31
  I
• 9:31
  tell
• 9:32
  you
• 9:32
  what,
• 9:32
  if
• 9:32
  you
• 9:32
  get
• 9:32
  up
• 9:32
  into
• 9:32
  their
• 9:32
  good
• 9:33
  stuff,
• 9:33
  it'll
• 9:34
  look
• 9:34
  good
• 9:34
  better
• 9:34
  on
• 9:34
  the,
• 9:35
  on
• 9:35
  the
• 9:35
  bright
• 9:35
  colors,
• 9:36
  it'll
• 9:36
  hold
• 9:36
  the
• 9:37
  color
• 9:37
  better
• 9:38
  and
• 9:38
  it's
• 9:38
  going
• 9:38
  to
• 9:39
  cover
• 9:39
  so
• 9:39
  much
• 9:39
  better.
• 9:39
  So
• 9:40
  really
• 9:40
  think
• 9:40
  about
• 9:40
  that.
• 9:41
  And
• 9:41
  of
• 9:41
  course,
• 9:42
  paint
• 9:42
  and
• 9:42
  primer
• 9:43
  is
• 9:43
  a
• 9:43
  great
• 9:43
  marketing
• 9:44
  tool.
• 9:44
  It's
• 9:45
  good
• 9:45
  if
• 9:45
  you've
• 9:45
  got
• 9:45
  a
• 9:46
  couple
• 9:46
  little
• 9:46
  spots
• 9:46
  and
• 9:46
  you
• 9:47
  want
• 9:47
  it
• 9:47
  to
• 9:47
  really
• 9:47
  cover
• 9:48
  well.
• 9:48
  But
• 9:49
  paint
• 9:49
  and
• 9:49
  primer
• 9:50
  never
• 9:50
  takes
• 9:50
  the
• 9:50
  place
• 9:51
  of
• 9:51
  primer
• 9:52
  and
• 9:52
  painted.
• 9:53
  And
• 9:53
  that's
• 9:54
  the
• 9:54
  key
• 9:54
  right
• 9:54
  there.
• 9:55
  So
• 9:55
  really
• 9:55
  think
• 9:55
  about
• 9:56
  that.
• 9:56
  That's
• 9:56
  a
• 9:57
  big
• 9:57
  one.
• 9:57
  Make
• 9:57
  sure
• 9:57
  you
• 9:57
  got
• 9:58
  that
• 9:58
  dialed
• 9:58
  in.
• 9:58
  Want
• 9:58
  to
• 9:58
  let
• 9:59
  you
• 9:59
  know
• 9:59
  that
• 9:59
  there's
• 9:59
  a
• 9:59
  lot
• 9:59
  of
• 9:59
  ways
• 10:00
  to
• 10:00
  find
• 10:00
  us.
• 10:00
  And
• 10:00
  that's
• 10:01
  either
• 10:01
  on
• 10:01
  our
• 10:02
  website,
• 10:02
  which

  we're

• 13:25

• 13:26
  here.
• 13:26
  And
• 13:26
  the
• 13:27
  first
• 13:27
  thing
• 13:27
  is,
• 13:27
  if
• 13:27
  you
• 13:27
  have
• 13:27
  a
• 13:28
  house
• 13:28
  older
• 13:28
  than
• 13:29
  1978,
• 13:30
  one
• 13:30
  of
• 13:30
  the
• 13:30
  things
• 13:30
  that
• 13:30
  you
• 13:30
  should
• 13:31
  always
• 13:31
  be
• 13:31
  doing
• 13:32
  is
• 13:32
  testing
• 13:33
  for
• 13:33
  lead
• 13:33
  based
• 13:33
  paint
• 13:34
  and
• 13:34
  following
• 13:34
  the
• 13:35
  laws
• 13:35
  here
• 13:35
  in
• 13:35
  the
• 13:36
  United
• 13:36
  States
• 13:36
  and
• 13:37
  or
• 13:37
  in
• 13:37
  your
• 13:38
  area.
• 13:38
  Now,
• 13:39
  anything
• 13:40
  before
• 13:40
  1978,
• 13:41
  you
• 13:41
  do
• 13:41
  run
• 13:41
  a
• 13:42
  risk
• 13:42
  of
• 13:42
  that
• 13:42
  lead
• 13:42
  based
• 13:43
  paint
• 13:43
  because
• 13:43
  that's
• 13:43
  when
• 13:44
  they
• 13:44
  basically
• 13:44
  stopped
• 13:45
  using
• 13:45
  it.
• 13:46
  Now,
• 13:46
  it's
• 13:46
  interesting.
• 13:47
  In
• 13:47
  my
• 13:47
  area
• 13:48
  here,
• 13:48
  you
• 13:49
  can
• 13:49
  really
• 13:49
  see
• 13:50
  the
• 13:50
  higher
• 13:50
  end
• 13:50
  paints
• 13:51
  had
• 13:51
  the
• 13:51
  lead
• 13:52
  in
• 13:52
  it
• 13:52
  because
• 13:52
  it
• 13:52
  was
• 13:52
  the
• 13:52
  most
• 13:53
  durable.
• 13:54
  And
• 13:54
  what's
• 13:54
  interesting
• 13:55
  is,
• 13:55
  is
• 13:55
  you
• 13:55
  can
• 13:55
  find
• 13:56
  areas,
• 13:56
  if
• 13:57
  you
• 13:57
  were
• 13:57
  to
• 13:57
  test
• 13:57
  a
• 13:57
  whole
• 13:58
  city,
• 13:59
  you
• 13:59
  can
• 13:59
  find
• 13:59
  areas
• 14:00
  that
• 14:00
  are
• 14:00
  a
• 14:00
  hotbed
• 14:01
  of
• 14:01
  where
• 14:01
  the
• 14:01
  lead
• 14:02
  based
• 14:02
  paint
• 14:02
  is,
• 14:02
  because,
• 14:03
  one,
• 14:03
  they
• 14:04
  had
• 14:04
  a
• 14:04
  store
• 14:04
  there
• 14:04
  that
• 14:05
  sold
• 14:05
  high
• 14:05
  quality
• 14:05
  paint.
• 14:06
  Two,
• 14:07
  you
• 14:07
  had
• 14:07
  a
• 14:07
  bunch
• 14:08
  of
• 14:08
  people
• 14:08
  that
• 14:08
  wanted
• 14:08
  to
• 14:09
  buy
• 14:09
  better
• 14:09
  paint.
• 14:10
  And
• 14:10
  three,
• 14:11
  maybe
• 14:11
  you
• 14:11
  had
• 14:11
  a
• 14:11
  good
• 14:12
  salesperson
• 14:12
  there
• 14:12
  that
• 14:12
  just
• 14:13
  cranked
• 14:13
  out
• 14:13
  a
• 14:13
  lot
• 14:13
  of
• 14:13
  paint,
• 14:14
  and
• 14:14
  there's
• 14:15
  a
• 14:15
  lot
• 14:15
  of
• 14:15
  it
• 14:15
  in
• 14:15
  these
• 14:16
  older
• 14:16
  homes.
• 14:17
  So
• 14:17
  it's
• 14:17
  something
• 14:18
  to
• 14:18
  consider.
• 14:19
  You
• 14:19
  need
• 14:19
  to
• 14:19
  test
• 14:19
  it.
• 14:19
  It's
• 14:20
  really
• 14:20
  simple
• 14:20
  to
• 14:20
  test.
• 14:21
  You
• 14:21
  can
• 14:21
  go
• 14:21
  to
• 14:22
  your
• 14:22
  paint
• 14:22
  store,
• 14:22
  get
• 14:22
  one
• 14:22
  of
• 14:22
  the
• 14:23
  lead
• 14:23
  based
• 14:24
  pens
• 14:24
  that
• 14:24
  they
• 14:24
  have
• 14:25
  that
• 14:25
  you
• 14:25
  basically
• 14:25
  go
• 14:25
  over,
• 14:25
  and
• 14:26
  if
• 14:26
  it
• 14:26
  looks,
• 14:26
  turns
• 14:26
  red
• 14:27
  or
• 14:27
  whatever
• 14:27
  color
• 14:28
  it
• 14:28
  does,
• 14:29
  that
• 14:29
  is
• 14:29
  now
• 14:30
  something
• 14:30
  that
• 14:30
  you
• 14:30
  need
• 14:30
  to
• 14:31
  treat
• 14:31
  and
• 14:32
  do
• 14:32
  your
• 14:32
  research,
• 14:33
  have
• 14:33
  it
• 14:33
  abated,
• 14:34
  or
• 14:34
  just
• 14:34
  follow
• 14:35
  the
• 14:35
  rules
• 14:35
  of
• 14:35
  that
• 14:36
  and
• 14:36
  make
• 14:36
  sure
• 14:37
  that
• 14:37
  you're
• 14:37
  good
• 14:37
  to
• 14:37
  go.
• 14:38
  And
• 14:38
  there's
• 14:39
  a
• 14:39
  lot
• 14:39
  of
• 14:39
  information
• 14:40
  online
• 14:40
  for
• 14:40
  that.
• 14:40
  And
• 14:40
  make
• 14:41
  sure
• 14:41
  that
• 14:41
  you're
• 14:41
  doing
• 14:41
  it
• 14:41
  locally
• 14:42
  in
• 14:42
  your
• 14:42
  area.
• 14:42
  If
• 14:42
  you
• 14:42
  have
• 14:42
  to
• 14:43
  dispose
• 14:43
  of
• 14:43
  it,
• 14:44
  make
• 14:44
  sure
• 14:44
  you're
• 14:44
  disposing
• 14:45
  it
• 14:45
  legally.
• 14:46
  It's
• 14:46
  like
• 14:46
  dealing
• 14:46
  with
• 14:47
  asbestos.
• 14:47
  It's
• 14:47
  one
• 14:48
  of
• 14:48
  those
• 14:48
  things
• 14:48
  that
• 14:48
  we
• 14:48
  just
• 14:48
  have
• 14:49
  to
• 14:49
  work
• 14:49
  with.
• 14:50
  The
• 14:50
  good
• 14:50
  news,
• 14:50
  though,
• 14:50
  is,
• 14:50
  is
• 14:51
  that
• 14:51
  every
• 14:51
  year
• 14:52
  that
• 14:52
  stuff's
• 14:52
  getting
• 14:52
  buried
• 14:53
  under
• 14:53
  another
• 14:53
  coat
• 14:53
  of
• 14:54
  paint.
• 14:54
  Unless
• 14:54
  something's
• 14:54
  peeling,
• 14:55
  it's
• 14:55
  not
• 14:56
  as
• 14:56
  big
• 14:56
  a
• 14:56
  deal
• 14:56
  unless
• 14:57
  you're
• 14:57
  sanding
• 14:57
  or
• 14:57
  creating
• 14:58
  dust.
• 14:58
  So
• 14:59
  something
• 14:59
  to
• 14:59
  consider
• 15:00
  when
• 15:00
  you're
• 15:00
  out
• 15:00
  there.
• 15:01
  Now,
• 15:02
  when
• 15:02
  we're
• 15:02
  talking
• 15:03
  exterior
• 15:03
  paint,
• 15:04
  there's
• 15:04
  a
• 15:04
  lot
• 15:05
  of
• 15:05
  things
• 15:05
  going
• 15:05
  on.
• 15:06
  But
• 15:06
  the
• 15:06
  first
• 15:07
  thing
• 15:07
  is,
• 15:07
  is
• 15:07
  know
• 15:07
  your
• 15:08
  temperatures
• 15:08
  and
• 15:09
  the
• 15:09
  paint
• 15:09
  you're
• 15:09
  going
• 15:09
  to
• 15:09
  be
• 15:10
  using.
• 15:10
  It
• 15:11
  can
• 15:11
  be
• 15:11
  too
• 15:11
  hot,
• 15:12
  it
• 15:12
  can
• 15:12
  be
• 15:12
  too
• 15:12
  cold,
• 15:13
  it
• 15:13
  can
• 15:13
  be
• 15:13
  too
• 15:13
  humid.
• 15:14
  Read
• 15:15
  the
• 15:15
  back
• 15:15
  of
• 15:15
  the
• 15:15
  paint
• 15:15
  can
• 15:16
  and
• 15:16
  find
• 15:16
  out
• 15:16
  what
• 15:17
  the
• 15:17
  optimal
• 15:17
  temperature
• 15:18
  is.
• 15:19
  A
• 15:19
  lot
• 15:19
  of
• 15:19
  paints,
• 15:20
  if
• 15:20
  you're
• 15:20
  going
• 15:20
  to
• 15:20
  get
• 15:20
  below
• 15:21
  50
• 15:21
  degrees
• 15:21
  at
• 15:21
  night,
• 15:22
  that's
• 15:22
  not
• 15:22
  going
• 15:22
  to
• 15:23
  cure.
• 15:23
  Right.
• 15:23
  And
• 15:24
  in
• 15:24
  the
• 15:24
  morning,
• 15:24
  when
• 15:24
  you
• 15:24
  have
• 15:25
  that
• 15:25
  morning
• 15:25
  dew,
• 15:25
  it
• 15:26
  could
• 15:26
  happen
• 15:26
  on
• 15:26
  the
• 15:26
  side
• 15:26
  of
• 15:26
  the
• 15:27
  house.
• 15:27
  And
• 15:27
  now
• 15:27
  you've
• 15:27
  got
• 15:28
  streaky
• 15:28
  paint.
• 15:29
  The
• 15:29
  other
• 15:30
  hand
• 15:30
  is,
• 15:30
  is
• 15:30
  you
• 15:30
  could
• 15:30
  get
• 15:31
  out
• 15:31
  there
• 15:31
  and
• 15:31
  be
• 15:31
  painting
• 15:32
  when
• 15:32
  it's
• 15:32
  95
• 15:32
  and
• 15:33
  it's
• 15:33
  well
• 15:33
  beyond
• 15:34
  what
• 15:34
  the
• 15:34
  application
• 15:35
  temperature
• 15:35
  is,
• 15:36
  and
• 15:36
  it
• 15:36
  doesn't
• 15:37
  give
• 15:37
  it
• 15:37
  a
• 15:37
  chance
• 15:37
  to
• 15:38
  cure.
• 15:38
  Right.
• 15:38
  And
• 15:39
  that
• 15:39
  can
• 15:39
  be
• 15:39
  its
• 15:39
  own
• 15:40
  issue.
• 15:40
  So
• 15:41
  too
• 15:41
  hot,
• 15:41
  too
• 15:41
  cold
• 15:42
  can
• 15:42
  be
• 15:42
  a
• 15:42
  problem.
• 15:43
  Make
• 15:43
  sure
• 15:43
  that
• 15:44
  you're
• 15:44
  following
• 15:44
  those
• 15:45
  directions
• 15:45
  and
• 15:45
  you're
• 15:46
  doing
• 15:46
  it
• 15:46
  correctly.
• 15:47
  So
• 15:48
  there's
• 15:48
  the
• 15:48
  first
• 15:48
  mistake.
• 15:49
  And,
• 15:49
  of
• 15:49
  course,
• 15:49
  watch
• 15:49
  your
• 15:50
  weather
• 15:50
  so
• 15:51
  you
• 15:51
  don't
• 15:51
  have
• 15:51
  issues
• 15:52
  down
• 15:52
  the
• 15:52
  road.
• 15:53
  Now,
• 15:53
  one
• 15:53
  thing
• 15:53
  I
• 15:53
  do
• 15:54
  not
• 15:54
  paint,
• 15:54
  and
• 15:54
  I
• 15:55
  do
• 15:55
  not
• 15:55
  recommend
• 15:56
  it
• 15:56
  to
• 15:56
  anyone,
• 15:57
  and
• 15:57
  that
• 15:57
  is
• 15:58
  painting
• 15:58
  vinyl
• 15:59
  siding.
• 16:00
  I'm
• 16:00
  not
• 16:01
  personally
• 16:01
  a
• 16:01
  fan
• 16:01
  of
• 16:02
  vinyl
• 16:02
  siding
• 16:03
  for
• 16:03
  a
• 16:03
  couple
• 16:03
  reasons.
• 16:04
  One,
• 16:05
  a
• 16:05
  lot
• 16:05
  of
• 16:05
  the
• 16:05
  older
• 16:05
  stuff,
• 16:06
  when
• 16:06
  it
• 16:06
  got
• 16:06
  brittle
• 16:07
  or
• 16:07
  cold,
• 16:08
  it
• 16:08
  was
• 16:08
  very
• 16:09
  easily
• 16:09
  broken.
• 16:10
  And
• 16:11
  what's
• 16:11
  still
• 16:11
  vinyl,
• 16:12
  it
• 16:12
  can
• 16:13
  still
• 16:13
  yellow
• 16:14
  in
• 16:14
  time.
• 16:15
  And
• 16:15
  so
• 16:15
  the
• 16:15
  problem
• 16:16
  we
• 16:16
  see
• 16:16
  is
• 16:17
  that
• 16:17
  the
• 16:18
  different
• 16:18
  colors
• 16:18
  have
• 16:19
  different
• 16:20
  chemical
• 16:21
  compounds
• 16:22
  in
• 16:22
  that
• 16:22
  plastic.
• 16:23
  Right.
• 16:23
  So
• 16:24
  a
• 16:24
  lighter
• 16:25
  color
• 16:25
  doesn't
• 16:26
  need
• 16:26
  to
• 16:26
  have
• 16:26
  the
• 16:27
  same
• 16:27
  heat
• 16:27
  resistance
• 16:28
  if
• 16:28
  it
• 16:28
  was
• 16:28
  a
• 16:28
  charcoal.
• 16:29
  So
• 16:30
  the
• 16:30
  problem
• 16:30
  is,
• 16:30
  if
• 16:30
  you
• 16:30
  go
• 16:31
  in
• 16:31
  there
• 16:31
  and
• 16:31
  go
• 16:31
  to,
• 16:31
  let's
• 16:32
  say,
• 16:32
  Sherwin
• 16:32
  Williams
• 16:32
  and
• 16:33
  buy
• 16:33
  their
• 16:33
  paint,
• 16:34
  this
• 16:34
  is
• 16:34
  not
• 16:35
  a
• 16:35
  paint
• 16:35
  problem.
• 16:36
  This
• 16:36
  is
• 16:36
  a
• 16:36
  problem
• 16:37
  of
• 16:37
  the
• 16:37
  original
• 16:38
  vinyl
• 16:38
  siding.
• 16:39
  So
• 16:39
  if
• 16:39
  you
• 16:39
  go
• 16:40
  in
• 16:40
  there
• 16:40
  and
• 16:40
  paint
• 16:41
  your
• 16:41
  house
• 16:41
  that
• 16:41
  was
• 16:42
  white,
• 16:42
  a
• 16:43
  nice,
• 16:43
  beautiful
• 16:43
  charcoal
• 16:44
  gray,
• 16:44
  or
• 16:44
  a
• 16:44
  hunter
• 16:45
  green,
• 16:46
  and
• 16:46
  you
• 16:46
  get
• 16:46
  full
• 16:47
  sun
• 16:47
  one
• 16:47
  day,
• 16:47
  all
• 16:48
  of
• 16:48
  a
• 16:48
  sudden,
• 16:49
  because
• 16:49
  of
• 16:49
  the
• 16:49
  dark
• 16:50
  temperature
• 16:51
  that
• 16:51
  is
• 16:51
  now
• 16:52
  going
• 16:52
  to
• 16:53
  have
• 16:53
  the
• 16:53
  possibility,
• 16:54
  at
• 16:54
  least,
• 16:55
  of
• 16:55
  melting
• 16:56
  and
• 16:57
  warping
• 16:57
  that
• 16:57
  siding,
• 16:58
  I
• 16:59
  have
• 16:59
  seen
• 16:59
  it
• 16:59
  where
• 16:59
  it
• 16:59
  literally
• 17:00
  melted
• 17:00
  off
• 17:00
  the
• 17:01
  side
• 17:01
  of
• 17:01
  the
• 17:01
  house
• 17:01
  and
• 17:01
  made
• 17:02
  it
• 17:02
  look
• 17:02
  like
• 17:02
  that
• 17:03
  there'd
• 17:03
  been
• 17:03
  a
• 17:03
  house
• 17:03
  fire
• 17:04
  and
• 17:04
  it
• 17:04
  melted
• 17:05
  off
• 17:05
  the
• 17:05
  side
• 17:05
  of
• 17:05
  the
• 17:05
  house.
• 17:06
  So
• 17:07
  I
• 17:07
  do
• 17:07
  not
• 17:07
  recommend
• 17:08
  painting
• 17:08
  vinyl
• 17:09
  siding.
• 17:09
  That's
• 17:09
  one
• 17:10
  reason.
• 17:10
  The
• 17:10
  second
• 17:10
  one
• 17:11
  is,
• 17:11
  is
• 17:12
  vinyl
• 17:12
  siding.
• 17:12
  Vinyl
• 17:13
  expands
• 17:13
  and
• 17:13
  contracts.
• 17:14
  So
• 17:15
  if
• 17:15
  you're
• 17:15
  out
• 17:16
  on
• 17:16
  a
• 17:16
  warm
• 17:16
  day
• 17:17
  and
• 17:17
  you
• 17:18
  paint
• 17:18
  that
• 17:19
  and
• 17:19
  you're
• 17:19
  changing
• 17:19
  a
• 17:19
  drastic
• 17:20
  color,
• 17:21
  reason
• 17:21
  why
• 17:21
  you
• 17:21
  have
• 17:22
  all
• 17:22
  those
• 17:22
  j
• 17:22
  trims
• 17:23
  and
• 17:23
  all
• 17:23
  the
• 17:23
  moldings
• 17:24
  around
• 17:24
  in
• 17:24
  vinyl
• 17:24
  siding
• 17:25
  is
• 17:25
  because
• 17:25
  it
• 17:25
  has
• 17:25
  to
• 17:26
  move,
• 17:26
  and
• 17:27
  it
• 17:27
  moves
• 17:27
  fairly
• 17:27
  significantly.
• 17:28
  I
• 17:29
  have
• 17:29
  seen
• 17:29
  people
• 17:29
  go
• 17:29
  in
• 17:29
  and
• 17:30
  do
• 17:30
  a
• 17:30
  color
• 17:30
  change
• 17:30
  on
• 17:30
  vinyl
• 17:31
  siding.
• 17:32
  It
• 17:32
  shrinks,
• 17:33
  gets
• 17:33
  really
• 17:34
  cold,
• 17:34
  and
• 17:35
  then
• 17:35
  you
• 17:35
  see
• 17:35
  all
• 17:35
  these
• 17:36
  lines
• 17:36
  of
• 17:36
  the
• 17:36
  old
• 17:37
  color
• 17:37
  where
• 17:38
  it
• 17:38
  shrunk
• 17:38
  up
• 17:38
  and
• 17:38
  that's
• 17:39
  now
• 17:39
  exposed.
• 17:40
  So
• 17:40
  that
• 17:40
  can
• 17:40
  be
• 17:41
  another
• 17:41
  big
• 17:41
  issue.
• 17:42
  If
• 17:42
  it
• 17:42
  was
• 17:43
  me,
• 17:43
  I
• 17:43
  would
• 17:43
  not
• 17:43
  spend
• 17:44
  the
• 17:44
  money
• 17:44
  on
• 17:44
  painting
• 17:44
  vital
• 17:45
  signing.
• 17:45
  I
• 17:45
  would
• 17:46
  change
• 17:46
  it
• 17:46
  out
• 17:47
  for
• 17:47
  another
• 17:47
  product
• 17:48
  and
• 17:48
  something
• 17:48
  that's
• 17:49
  going
• 17:49
  to
• 17:49
  be
• 17:49
  a
• 17:49
  little
• 17:49
  more
• 17:49
  durable
• 17:50
  and
• 17:50
  probably
• 17:50
  a
• 17:51
  little
• 17:51
  more
• 17:51
  durable
• 17:52
  in
• 17:52
  the
• 17:52
  cold
• 17:52
  and
• 17:53
  everything
• 17:53
  else.
• 17:53
  So
• 17:53
  I
• 17:53
  would
• 17:54
  take
• 17:54
  a
• 17:54
  look
• 17:54
  at
• 17:54
  some
• 17:54
  of
• 17:54
  the
• 17:55
  fiber
• 17:55
  cement,
• 17:56
  some
• 17:56
  of
• 17:56
  the
• 17:56
  wood.
• 17:56
  If
• 17:56
  you
• 17:56
  want
• 17:57
  to
• 17:57
  go
• 17:57
  vinyl
• 17:57
  siding,
• 17:57
  great.
• 17:58
  Just
• 17:58
  pick
• 17:58
  a
• 17:58
  color
• 17:58
  that
• 17:58
  you're
• 17:58
  going
• 17:59
  to
• 17:59
  be
• 17:59
  happy
• 17:59
  with
• 18:00
  and
• 18:00
  go
• 18:00
  that
• 18:01
  route
• 18:01
  again.
• 18:01
  But
• 18:02
  that's
• 18:02
  the
• 18:02
  difference
• 18:02
  with
• 18:03
  that.
• 18:03
  And
• 18:04
  sometimes,
• 18:04
  guys,
• 18:04
  you
• 18:05
  might
• 18:05
  pull
• 18:05
  the
• 18:05
  vinyl
• 18:05
  siding
• 18:06
  off
• 18:06
  if
• 18:07
  you
• 18:07
  have
• 18:07
  an
• 18:07
  older
• 18:07
  home
• 18:08
  and
• 18:08
  see
• 18:08
  some
• 18:08
  beautiful
• 18:09
  stuff
• 18:09
  underneath
• 18:10
  there.
• 18:10
  I
• 18:10
  have
• 18:10
  seen
• 18:11
  you
• 18:11
  pull
• 18:11
  the
• 18:11
  vinyl
• 18:11
  siding
• 18:12
  off
• 18:12
  and
• 18:12
  some
• 18:13
  shingles,
• 18:13
  some
• 18:14
  beautiful
• 18:14
  house
• 18:14
  had
• 18:14
  cedar
• 18:15
  shingles
• 18:15
  or,
• 18:16
  or
• 18:16
  beautiful
• 18:17
  siding
• 18:17
  underneath
• 18:18
  and
• 18:18
  the
• 18:18
  people
• 18:18
  didn't
• 18:18
  want
• 18:18
  to
• 18:18
  paint
• 18:19
  it.
• 18:19
  And
• 18:19
  then
• 18:20
  siding
• 18:20
  guy
• 18:20
  was
• 18:21
  running
• 18:21
  around
• 18:21
  knocking
• 18:21
  on
• 18:22
  doors,
• 18:23
  sold
• 18:23
  people
• 18:23
  on
• 18:24
  vinyl
• 18:24
  siding.
• 18:25
  So
• 18:25
  that
• 18:25
  can
• 18:25
  be
• 18:25
  one
• 18:25
  of
• 18:26
  those
• 18:26
  things
• 18:26
  that
• 18:26
  kind
• 18:26
  of
• 18:27
  can
• 18:27
  be
• 18:27
  a
• 18:27
  neat
• 18:27
  surprise
• 18:28
  now.
• 18:29
  It
• 18:29
  can
• 18:29
  also
• 18:29
  be
• 18:29
  hiding
• 18:29
  a
• 18:30
  ton
• 18:30
  of
• 18:30
  sins.
• 18:30
  So
• 18:31
  you
• 18:31
  just
• 18:31
  don't
• 18:31
  know
• 18:31
  until
• 18:31
  you
• 18:32
  start
• 18:32
  peeling
• 18:32
  it
• 18:32
  off.
• 18:33
  But
• 18:33
  the
• 18:33
  cool
• 18:34
  thing
• 18:34
  is,
• 18:34
  many
• 18:35
  times
• 18:35
  you
• 18:35
  can
• 18:35
  bring
• 18:36
  in
• 18:36
  a
• 18:36
  vinyl
• 18:36
  siding
• 18:37
  pro.
• 18:37
  They
• 18:37
  have
• 18:37
  the
• 18:37
  tools
• 18:38
  that
• 18:38
  can
• 18:38
  pop
• 18:38
  those
• 18:39
  sections
• 18:39
  out,
• 18:40
  and
• 18:40
  you
• 18:40
  could
• 18:40
  start
• 18:41
  to
• 18:41
  see
• 18:41
  what's
• 18:42
  underneath
• 18:42
  there
• 18:43
  and
• 18:43
  maybe
• 18:43
  a
• 18:43
  little
• 18:44
  bit
• 18:44
  of
• 18:44
  filling,
• 18:44
  a
• 18:44
  little
• 18:44
  bit
• 18:45
  of
• 18:45
  painting.
• 18:45
  You
• 18:46
  now
• 18:46
  have
• 18:46
  that
• 18:46
  vintage
• 18:47
  siding
• 18:47
  that's
• 18:47
  been
• 18:48
  hidden
• 18:48
  and
• 18:48
  protected
• 18:49
  behind
• 18:49
  this
• 18:49
  stuff
• 18:50
  for
• 18:50
  years.
• 18:51
  So
• 18:51
  that's
• 18:51
  a
• 18:51
  big
• 18:51
  one
• 18:52
  right
• 18:52
  there.
• 18:53
  Now,
• 18:54
  I
• 18:54
  say
• 18:55
  if
• 18:55
  you're
• 18:55
  going
• 18:55
  to
• 18:55
  do
• 18:55
  a
• 18:56
  house
• 18:56
  paint,
• 18:56
  you
• 18:57
  want
• 18:57
  to
• 18:57
  start
• 18:58
  weeks
• 18:58
  in
• 18:58
  advance.
• 18:59
  You
• 18:59
  want
• 18:59
  to
• 19:00
  get
• 19:00
  the
• 19:00
  side
• 19:00
  of
• 19:00
  the
• 19:00
  house,
• 19:00
  scrub
• 19:01
  down.
• 19:01
  I
• 19:01
  don't.
• 19:01
  I'm
• 19:02
  not
• 19:02
  a
• 19:02
  fan
• 19:02
  of
• 19:02
  using
• 19:02
  a
• 19:02
  pressure
• 19:03
  washer,
• 19:04
  but
• 19:04
  just
• 19:04
  a,
• 19:05
  like
• 19:05
  a
• 19:05
  brush
• 19:06
  on
• 19:07
  a
• 19:07
  pole,
• 19:08
  a
• 19:08
  good,
• 19:09
  a
• 19:09
  good
• 19:09
  hose
• 19:10
  sprayer,
• 19:10
  and
• 19:10
  just
• 19:11
  carefully
• 19:11
  wet
• 19:11
  the
• 19:12
  wall
• 19:12
  down.
• 19:13
  Pressure
• 19:13
  washers
• 19:13
  can
• 19:13
  do
• 19:14
  a
• 19:14
  lot
• 19:14
  of
• 19:14
  damage.
• 19:14
  They
• 19:14
  can
• 19:15
  get
• 19:15
  water
• 19:15
  up
• 19:15
  into
• 19:15
  areas
• 19:16
  you
• 19:16
  don't
• 19:16
  and
• 19:16
  can
• 19:16
  cause
• 19:16
  damage
• 19:17
  inside
• 19:17
  the
• 19:17
  wall.
• 19:17
  So
• 19:18
  I
• 19:18
  want
• 19:18
  you
• 19:18
  to
• 19:19
  be
• 19:19
  always
• 19:19
  spraying
• 19:19
  down,
• 19:20
  not
• 19:20
  up.
• 19:20
  So
• 19:20
  you
• 19:21
  get
• 19:21
  water
• 19:21
  underneath
• 19:21
  it
• 19:22
  and
• 19:22
  really
• 19:22
  just
• 19:22
  give
• 19:23
  it
• 19:23
  a
• 19:23
  good
• 19:23
  scrub
• 19:23
  down
• 19:24
  first.
• 19:24
  Then
• 19:25
  youre
• 19:25
  going
• 19:25
  to
• 19:25
  go
• 19:25
  through
• 19:25
  and
• 19:25
  check
• 19:26
  to
• 19:26
  make
• 19:26
  sure
• 19:26
  you
• 19:26
  dont
• 19:26
  have
• 19:27
  any
• 19:27
  water
• 19:27
  issues.
• 19:28
  If
• 19:28
  waters
• 19:28
  getting
• 19:29
  behind
• 19:29
  that
• 19:29
  siding,
• 19:29
  youll
• 19:30
  see
• 19:30
  peeling
• 19:30
  paint,
• 19:31
  youll
• 19:31
  see
• 19:31
  caulking.
• 19:32
  That
• 19:32
  needs
• 19:32
  to
• 19:32
  be
• 19:32
  recaulked.
• 19:33
  Its
• 19:33
  a
• 19:33
  great
• 19:33
  time
• 19:33
  to
• 19:34
  go
• 19:34
  through,
• 19:34
  clean
• 19:34
  out
• 19:34
  all
• 19:34
  the
• 19:35
  old
• 19:35
  stuff,
• 19:35
  reculk
• 19:36
  everything,
• 19:37
  and
• 19:38
  then
• 19:38
  prime
• 19:38
  any
• 19:38
  troubled
• 19:39
  areas.
• 19:39
  Now,
• 19:39
  I
• 19:40
  had
• 19:40
  a
• 19:40
  house
• 19:40
  that
• 19:40
  I
• 19:40
  worked
• 19:40
  on
• 19:41
  years
• 19:41
  ago
• 19:42
  that
• 19:42
  was
• 19:42
  up
• 19:42
  in
• 19:42
  Everett,
• 19:43
  Washington,
• 19:43
  and
• 19:44
  it
• 19:44
  was
• 19:44
  a
• 19:45
  house
• 19:45
  that
• 19:46
  was
• 19:46
  going
• 19:46
  into
• 19:46
  be
• 19:46
  a
• 19:47
  rental.
• 19:47
  And
• 19:48
  it
• 19:48
  had
• 19:48
  dinner
• 19:49
  size
• 19:49
  plates
• 19:50
  where
• 19:50
  they
• 19:50
  had
• 19:50
  put
• 19:51
  latex
• 19:52
  over
• 19:52
  paint
• 19:53
  or
• 19:53
  oil
• 19:53
  based
• 19:54
  paint
• 19:54
  and
• 19:54
  oil
• 19:54
  based
• 19:55
  over
• 19:55
  latex.
• 19:55
  It
• 19:55
  was
• 19:55
  a
• 19:55
  hot
• 19:56
  mess.
• 19:56
  So
• 19:57
  I
• 19:57
  went
• 19:57
  in
• 19:57
  there
• 19:57
  and
• 19:58
  basically
• 19:59
  reground
• 19:59
  it
• 19:59
  all,
• 19:59
  tested
• 20:00
  for
• 20:00
  lead,
• 20:00
  wasn't
• 20:01
  there,
• 20:01
  reground
• 20:02
  it
• 20:02
  all
• 20:02
  down.
• 20:03
  But
• 20:03
  we
• 20:03
  still
• 20:03
  had
• 20:03
  all
• 20:04
  these
• 20:04
  transition
• 20:05
  areas
• 20:05
  where
• 20:05
  you
• 20:05
  would
• 20:06
  see
• 20:06
  it
• 20:06
  if
• 20:06
  you
• 20:06
  were
• 20:06
  to
• 20:06
  put,
• 20:07
  because
• 20:07
  paint
• 20:07
  doesn't
• 20:07
  really
• 20:08
  hide
• 20:08
  much.
• 20:09
  If
• 20:09
  you
• 20:09
  see
• 20:09
  it
• 20:09
  there,
• 20:09
  it's
• 20:10
  going
• 20:10
  to
• 20:10
  show
• 20:10
  up
• 20:10
  and
• 20:10
  telescope
• 20:11
  through.
• 20:12
  So
• 20:12
  I
• 20:12
  went
• 20:13
  down
• 20:13
  to
• 20:13
  my
• 20:13
  Sherwin
• 20:13
  Williams
• 20:14
  store,
• 20:14
  picked
• 20:14
  up
• 20:15
  some
• 20:15
  primer
• 20:15
  that
• 20:15
  was
• 20:15
  a
• 20:16
  filler.
• 20:16
  And
• 20:17
  what
• 20:17
  this
• 20:17
  did
• 20:17
  was
• 20:18
  to
• 20:18
  fill
• 20:18
  in
• 20:18
  those
• 20:18
  areas
• 20:19
  where
• 20:19
  I
• 20:19
  sanded
• 20:20
  and
• 20:20
  grinded
• 20:20
  and
• 20:21
  took
• 20:21
  off
• 20:21
  all
• 20:21
  the
• 20:21
  loose
• 20:22
  stuff.
• 20:22
  And
• 20:22
  it
• 20:22
  was
• 20:22
  an
• 20:22
  adhesion
• 20:23
  primer
• 20:23
  that
• 20:23
  was
• 20:24
  thick.
• 20:24
  And
• 20:25
  so
• 20:25
  I
• 20:25
  actually
• 20:26
  sprayed
• 20:26
  that
• 20:26
  on
• 20:26
  and
• 20:27
  it
• 20:27
  gave
• 20:27
  a
• 20:27
  nice
• 20:28
  leveling
• 20:29
  across
• 20:29
  the
• 20:30
  entire
• 20:30
  clapboard
• 20:31
  surface.
• 20:31
  So
• 20:31
  it
• 20:32
  made
• 20:32
  it
• 20:32
  look
• 20:32
  really
• 20:32
  good.
• 20:33
  Then
• 20:34
  after
• 20:34
  that,
• 20:34
  I
• 20:34
  hit
• 20:35
  it
• 20:35
  with
• 20:35
  my
• 20:35
  couple
• 20:35
  coats
• 20:36
  of
• 20:36
  paint.
• 20:36
  I
• 20:36
  back
• 20:37
  rolled
• 20:37
  it.
• 20:37
  I
• 20:38
  was
• 20:38
  spraying
• 20:38
  and
• 20:39
  back
• 20:39
  rolling.
• 20:39
  Make
• 20:39
  sure
• 20:40
  when
• 20:40
  you're
• 20:40
  spraying
• 20:40
  that
• 20:41
  you're
• 20:41
  back
• 20:41
  rolling
• 20:41
  it.
• 20:41
  So
• 20:41
  you're
• 20:42
  basically
• 20:42
  taking
• 20:42
  a
• 20:42
  roller
• 20:43
  and
• 20:43
  rolling
• 20:44
  back
• 20:44
  over
• 20:44
  the
• 20:44
  top
• 20:45
  of
• 20:45
  that.
• 20:45
  So
• 20:45
  you
• 20:45
  make
• 20:45
  sure
• 20:46
  you
• 20:46
  got
• 20:46
  that
• 20:46
  dialed
• 20:47
  in
• 20:47
  and
• 20:47
  that's
• 20:48
  going
• 20:48
  to
• 20:48
  really
• 20:48
  give
• 20:48
  you
• 20:49
  the
• 20:49
  best
• 20:49
  look.
• 20:49
  And
• 20:49
  that
• 20:49
  back
• 20:50
  rolling
• 20:50
  really
• 20:50
  pushes
• 20:51
  that
• 20:51
  in
• 20:51
  and
• 20:51
  makes
• 20:52
  that
• 20:52
  grip.
• 20:53
  Now
• 20:53
  when
• 20:53
  we
• 20:53
  come
• 20:54
  back,
• 20:55
  we're
• 20:55
  going
• 20:55
  to
• 20:55
  be
• 20:55
  talking
• 20:55
  inside
• 20:56
  again
• 20:56
  with
• 20:56
  cabinetry
• 20:57
  and
• 20:57
  trim.
• 20:57
  Some
• 20:57
  of
• 20:57
  my
• 20:58
  secrets
• 20:58
  there.
• 20:59
  We'll
• 20:59
  do
• 20:59
  that
• 20:59
  just
• 20:59
  as
• 20:59
  soon
• 21:00
  as
• 21:00
  around
• 21:00
  the
• 21:00
  house
• 21:00
  returns.
• 21:01
  Don't
• 21:01
  go
• 21:01
  anywhere
• 21:03
  now.
• 21:58
  Not
• 21:59
  from
• 21:59
  you,
• 22:00
  not
• 22:00
  from
• 21:06
  anybody.
• 22:07

  much

  going

  on

  out

• 22:43
  We've
• 22:43
  been
• 22:43
  talking
• 22:44
  today
• 22:44
  about
• 22:44
  all
• 22:45
  the
• 22:45
  different
• 22:45
  things
• 22:46
  with
• 22:46
  finishes.
• 22:47
  We
• 22:47
  talked
• 22:47
  earlier
• 22:47
  about
• 22:48
  interior
• 22:48
  paint,
• 22:49
  exterior
• 22:50
  paint,
• 22:50
  and
• 22:50
  you
• 22:50
  can
• 22:50
  almost
• 22:51
  run
• 22:51
  out
• 22:51
  of
• 22:51
  time
• 22:51
  talking
• 22:52
  about
• 22:52
  that
• 22:52
  stuff.
• 22:53
  This
• 22:53
  next
• 22:53
  segment
• 22:54
  here,
• 22:54
  I
• 22:54
  wanted
• 22:54
  to
• 22:54
  talk
• 22:55
  about
• 22:55
  cabinetry
• 22:56
  and
• 22:56
  trim,
• 22:57
  and
• 22:57
  that's
• 22:57
  a
• 22:57
  really
• 22:58
  basic
• 22:58
  one
• 22:58
  here.
• 22:59
  But
• 22:59
  there's
• 23:00
  so
• 23:00
  much
• 23:00
  detail
• 23:01
  to
• 23:01
  get
• 23:01
  that
• 23:02
  look
• 23:02
  good.
• 23:02
  And
• 23:02
  it's
• 23:03
  funny,
• 23:03
  across
• 23:03
  the
• 23:03
  United
• 23:04
  States,
• 23:04
  if
• 23:04
  you
• 23:04
  look,
• 23:05
  there
• 23:05
  are
• 23:06
  certain
• 23:06
  parts
• 23:06
  of
• 23:06
  the
• 23:07
  country
• 23:07
  where
• 23:08
  if
• 23:08
  you're
• 23:08
  doing
• 23:08
  a
• 23:08
  new
• 23:09
  painted
• 23:09
  kitchen,
• 23:10
  they'll
• 23:10
  order
• 23:10
  it
• 23:11
  raw
• 23:11
  or
• 23:11
  primed,
• 23:12
  it'll
• 23:12
  come
• 23:12
  in
• 23:13
  and
• 23:13
  then
• 23:13
  they
• 23:13
  paint
• 23:14
  it
• 23:14
  in
• 23:14
  place
• 23:15
  so
• 23:16
  the
• 23:16
  moldings
• 23:17
  and
• 23:17
  everything
• 23:17
  else
• 23:18
  end
• 23:18
  up
• 23:18
  looking
• 23:18
  a
• 23:18
  lot
• 23:19
  better.
• 23:19
  The
• 23:20
  problem
• 23:20
  is,
• 23:20
  is
• 23:20
  that
• 23:21
  most
• 23:21
  people
• 23:22
  out
• 23:22
  there,
• 23:22
  and
• 23:22
  I'm
• 23:22
  going
• 23:22
  to
• 23:22
  say
• 23:23
  most,
• 23:24
  but
• 23:24
  most
• 23:25
  even
• 23:25
  painting
• 23:26
  contractors
• 23:26
  out
• 23:27
  there,
• 23:27
  can't
• 23:28
  do
• 23:28
  as
• 23:28
  nice
• 23:29
  a
• 23:29
  job
• 23:30
  on
• 23:30
  that
• 23:30
  finish.
• 23:31
  Then
• 23:31
  what
• 23:31
  you're
• 23:32
  going
• 23:32
  to
• 23:32
  get
• 23:32
  with
• 23:33
  the
• 23:33
  robotic
• 23:34
  computerized
• 23:35
  machines
• 23:36
  and
• 23:36
  the
• 23:37
  paint
• 23:37
  that
• 23:37
  is
• 23:37
  baked
• 23:37
  on
• 23:38
  finish
• 23:38
  that
• 23:38
  goes
• 23:38
  on,
• 23:39
  I'll
• 23:39
  just
• 23:40
  use
• 23:40
  a
• 23:40
  brand
• 23:40
  like
• 23:40
  craft
• 23:41
  made,
• 23:41
  for
• 23:41
  instance.
• 23:42
  It's
• 23:43
  one
• 23:43
  of
• 23:43
  those
• 23:43
  things
• 23:43
  that
• 23:43
  you
• 23:44
  look
• 23:44
  at
• 23:44
  and
• 23:44
  go,
• 23:44
  wow,
• 23:45
  they
• 23:46
  can
• 23:46
  do
• 23:46
  such
• 23:46
  a
• 23:46
  better
• 23:47
  job
• 23:47
  as
• 23:47
  a
• 23:47
  manufacturer
• 23:48
  because
• 23:48
  there's
• 23:48
  no
• 23:49
  dust.
• 23:49
  They've
• 23:50
  blown
• 23:50
  off
• 23:51
  everything
• 23:51
  beforehand.
• 23:52
  They've
• 23:52
  got
• 23:52
  a
• 23:52
  really
• 23:53
  hard,
• 23:54
  like,
• 23:54
  conversion
• 23:55
  varnish
• 23:55
  finish
• 23:56
  where
• 23:56
  they
• 23:56
  mix
• 23:56
  part
• 23:57
  a,
• 23:57
  part
• 23:57
  b,
• 23:58
  and
• 23:58
  it,
• 23:59
  it
• 23:59
  sprays
• 23:59
  on.
• 23:59
  It's
• 24:00
  much
• 24:00
  more
• 24:00
  like
• 24:00
  painting
• 24:01
  your
• 24:01
  car
• 24:02
  where
• 24:03
  it
• 24:03
  has
• 24:03
  that
• 24:03
  factory
• 24:04
  finish
• 24:04
  than
• 24:04
  it
• 24:04
  is
• 24:05
  anything
• 24:06
  inside
• 24:06
  your
• 24:06
  house.
• 24:07
  And
• 24:07
  so
• 24:07
  the
• 24:08
  thing
• 24:08
  to
• 24:08
  think
• 24:08
  about
• 24:08
  with
• 24:09
  that
• 24:09
  is,
• 24:09
  is
• 24:09
  that,
• 24:09
  okay,
• 24:10
  I
• 24:11
  am
• 24:11
  not
• 24:11
  going
• 24:11
  to
• 24:11
  get
• 24:12
  as
• 24:12
  good
• 24:12
  a
• 24:12
  finish
• 24:13
  if
• 24:13
  I
• 24:14
  paint
• 24:14
  inside
• 24:14
  my
• 24:14
  house
• 24:15
  in
• 24:15
  almost
• 24:16
  any
• 24:16
  situation,
• 24:17
  then
• 24:18
  you
• 24:18
  would
• 24:18
  get
• 24:19
  out
• 24:19
  of
• 24:19
  a
• 24:19
  factory
• 24:20
  finish.
• 24:20
  So
• 24:20
  what
• 24:21
  are
• 24:21
  the
• 24:21
  options?
• 24:21
  We're
• 24:21
  not
• 24:22
  going
• 24:22
  to
• 24:22
  get
• 24:22
  into
• 24:22
  the,
• 24:22
  into
• 24:23
  the
• 24:23
  nitty
• 24:23
  gritty
• 24:23
  here
• 24:24
  on
• 24:24
  the
• 24:24
  paint
• 24:24
  material
• 24:25
  itself,
• 24:26
  but
• 24:26
  with
• 24:26
  cabinetry,
• 24:27
  you
• 24:28
  want
• 24:28
  something
• 24:28
  that's
• 24:28
  going
• 24:28
  to
• 24:28
  be
• 24:29
  super
• 24:29
  durable
• 24:29
  when
• 24:29
  you're
• 24:30
  painting
• 24:30
  it.
• 24:31
  Some
• 24:31
  people
• 24:31
  come
• 24:32
  in
• 24:32
  with
• 24:32
  a
• 24:33
  lacquer,
• 24:33
  and
• 24:33
  to
• 24:33
  be
• 24:34
  honest,
• 24:34
  lacquers
• 24:34
  are
• 24:34
  not
• 24:34
  my
• 24:35
  favorite
• 24:35
  finishes.
• 24:35
  They
• 24:36
  don't
• 24:36
  hold
• 24:36
  up
• 24:37
  compared
• 24:37
  to
• 24:37
  the
• 24:37
  newer
• 24:38
  stuff.
• 24:38
  These
• 24:38
  days
• 24:39
  you're
• 24:39
  seeing
• 24:39
  professional
• 24:40
  cabinet
• 24:40
  shops
• 24:41
  paint
• 24:41
  with
• 24:41
  a
• 24:42
  conversion
• 24:43
  varnish
• 24:44
  or
• 24:44
  a
• 24:45
  urethane.
• 24:46
  That
• 24:46
  is
• 24:46
  a
• 24:46
  kind
• 24:46
  of
• 24:47
  a
• 24:47
  conversion
• 24:47
  varnish
• 24:47
  urethane
• 24:48
  finish.
• 24:49
  If
• 24:49
  I
• 24:49
  was
• 24:50
  going
• 24:50
  to
• 24:50
  describe
• 24:50
  it,
• 24:50
  it's
• 24:51
  a
• 24:51
  two
• 24:51
  part
• 24:52
  urethane
• 24:52
  that's
• 24:52
  baked
• 24:53
  on
• 24:54
  and
• 24:54
  comes
• 24:55
  up
• 24:55
  with
• 24:55
  a
• 24:55
  really
• 24:55
  solid,
• 24:56
  durable
• 24:57
  finish.
• 24:58
  The
• 24:58
  problem
• 24:58
  that
• 24:58
  you
• 24:58
  see
• 24:59
  if
• 24:59
  you
• 24:59
  go
• 24:59
  down
• 24:59
  to
• 24:59
  your
• 24:59
  paint
• 24:59
  store
• 25:00
  and
• 25:00
  get
• 25:00
  stuff
• 25:00
  is
• 25:00
  that
• 25:01
  those
• 25:01
  are
• 25:01
  just
• 25:01
  latex
• 25:02
  water
• 25:02
  based
• 25:03
  finishes,
• 25:03
  but
• 25:03
  they're
• 25:04
  really
• 25:04
  a
• 25:04
  rubbery,
• 25:05
  soft
• 25:06
  finish.
• 25:06
  So
• 25:06
  they
• 25:07
  just
• 25:07
  don't
• 25:07
  hold
• 25:08
  up
• 25:08
  compared
• 25:09
  to
• 25:09
  many.
• 25:09
  So
• 25:10
  that's
• 25:10
  why
• 25:11
  at
• 25:11
  least
• 25:11
  you
• 25:11
  want
• 25:11
  to
• 25:11
  go
• 25:11
  with
• 25:12
  a
• 25:12
  trim
• 25:12
  paint
• 25:12
  of
• 25:12
  some
• 25:13
  kind,
• 25:13
  some
• 25:14
  kind
• 25:14
  of
• 25:14
  an
• 25:14
  enamel
• 25:14
  trim
• 25:15
  paint
• 25:15
  that's
• 25:15
  going
• 25:15
  to
• 25:15
  hold
• 25:16
  up.
• 25:16
  If
• 25:16
  you
• 25:17
  go
• 25:17
  into
• 25:17
  a
• 25:17
  paint
• 25:17
  store,
• 25:18
  they
• 25:18
  will
• 25:18
  have
• 25:18
  cabinetry
• 25:19
  paint
• 25:19
  many
• 25:19
  times,
• 25:20
  depending
• 25:20
  on
• 25:20
  the
• 25:20
  brands
• 25:21
  that
• 25:21
  they
• 25:21
  carry,
• 25:22
  but
• 25:22
  they'll
• 25:22
  have
• 25:22
  something
• 25:23
  that's
• 25:23
  a
• 25:23
  little
• 25:23
  bit
• 25:23
  more
• 25:24
  durable,
• 25:24
  and
• 25:25
  that's
• 25:25
  really
• 25:25
  what
• 25:25
  you
• 25:26
  want,
• 25:26
  because
• 25:26
  cabinetry,
• 25:27
  whether
• 25:27
  it's
• 25:27
  in
• 25:27
  the
• 25:27
  bathroom,
• 25:28
  you've
• 25:28
  got
• 25:28
  chemicals,
• 25:29
  you've
• 25:29
  got
• 25:29
  oils,
• 25:30
  you've
• 25:31
  got
• 25:31
  cleaning
• 25:31
  stuff,
• 25:32
  all
• 25:32
  the
• 25:32
  different
• 25:32
  things
• 25:33
  that
• 25:33
  show
• 25:33
  up.
• 25:34
  It
• 25:34
  has
• 25:34
  to
• 25:34
  be
• 25:35
  much
• 25:35
  more
• 25:35
  durable
• 25:36
  than
• 25:36
  the
• 25:36
  paint
• 25:37
  that
• 25:37
  you
• 25:37
  put
• 25:37
  on
• 25:37
  the
• 25:37
  walls
• 25:38
  of
• 25:38
  your
• 25:38
  house,
• 25:38
  which
• 25:38
  is
• 25:39
  meant
• 25:39
  to
• 25:39
  have
• 25:39
  some
• 25:39
  flexibility
• 25:40
  to
• 25:40
  it
• 25:41
  and
• 25:41
  just
• 25:41
  to
• 25:41
  go
• 25:42
  on
• 25:42
  really
• 25:42
  nicely
• 25:42
  and
• 25:43
  lay
• 25:43
  out
• 25:43
  nice.
• 25:43
  So
• 25:44
  the
• 25:44
  other
• 25:44
  thing
• 25:44
  that
• 25:45
  you
• 25:45
  see,
• 25:45
  too,
• 25:45
  is,
• 25:46
  is
• 25:46
  that
• 25:46
  there's
• 25:47
  so
• 25:47
  much
• 25:47
  detail
• 25:48
  in
• 25:48
  the
• 25:48
  paintwork.
• 25:48
  Like,
• 25:49
  it's
• 25:50
  like
• 25:50
  painting
• 25:50
  a
• 25:50
  car.
• 25:51
  That's
• 25:51
  why
• 25:51
  you
• 25:51
  don't
• 25:52
  see
• 25:52
  the
• 25:52
  grain
• 25:53
  when
• 25:53
  they're
• 25:53
  painting
• 25:54
  with
• 25:54
  paint
• 25:54
  grade
• 25:54
  materials,
• 25:55
  MDF,
• 25:56
  maple,
• 25:57
  some
• 25:57
  of
• 25:57
  those
• 25:57
  really
• 25:57
  closed
• 25:58
  grain
• 25:58
  woods.
• 25:59
  And
• 25:59
  that's
• 26:00
  really
• 26:00
  where
• 26:00
  the
• 26:00
  difference
• 26:01
  is
• 26:01
  when
• 26:01
  it
• 26:01
  comes
• 26:01
  down
• 26:01
  to
• 26:02
  that.
• 26:02
  Now,
• 26:03
  if
• 26:03
  you
• 26:03
  walk
• 26:04
  into
• 26:04
  a
• 26:04
  brand
• 26:04
  new
• 26:04
  house
• 26:05
  or
• 26:05
  a
• 26:05
  nicely
• 26:06
  remodeled
• 26:06
  brand
• 26:07
  new
• 26:07
  house,
• 26:08
  that's
• 26:08
  really
• 26:08
  where
• 26:09
  things
• 26:09
  start
• 26:09
  to,
• 26:10
  to
• 26:10
  show
• 26:10
  the
• 26:11
  difference,
• 26:11
  and
• 26:12
  that's
• 26:12
  many
• 26:12
  times,
• 26:13
  is
• 26:13
  that
• 26:13
  the
• 26:13
  moldings
• 26:14
  in
• 26:14
  the
• 26:14
  house
• 26:15
  were
• 26:15
  sprayed.
• 26:16
  Somebody
• 26:17
  came
• 26:17
  in
• 26:17
  with
• 26:18
  a
• 26:18
  paint
• 26:18
  gun,
• 26:19
  masked
• 26:19
  off
• 26:20
  all
• 26:20
  the
• 26:20
  walls.
• 26:21
  And
• 26:21
  many
• 26:21
  times,
• 26:21
  they'll
• 26:22
  come
• 26:22
  in
• 26:22
  and
• 26:22
  actually
• 26:22
  do
• 26:22
  the
• 26:23
  moldings
• 26:23
  first.
• 26:24
  They'll
• 26:25
  come
• 26:25
  through,
• 26:25
  spray
• 26:26
  those
• 26:26
  out,
• 26:26
  get
• 26:27
  those
• 26:27
  all
• 26:27
  done,
• 26:28
  let
• 26:28
  that
• 26:28
  dry,
• 26:29
  and
• 26:29
  then
• 26:29
  mask
• 26:30
  off
• 26:30
  the
• 26:30
  moldings
• 26:30
  and
• 26:31
  paint
• 26:31
  the
• 26:31
  rest
• 26:31
  of
• 26:31
  the
• 26:31
  walls.
• 26:32
  So
• 26:33
  you're
• 26:33
  seeing
• 26:33
  it
• 26:33
  done?
• 26:34
  I've
• 26:34
  seen
• 26:34
  it
• 26:34
  done
• 26:35
  both
• 26:35
  ways.
• 26:35
  I
• 26:35
  like
• 26:36
  that
• 26:36
  way
• 26:36
  better
• 26:37
  where
• 26:37
  it's
• 26:37
  painted
• 26:37
  first
• 26:38
  and
• 26:38
  then
• 26:38
  the
• 26:38
  rest
• 26:39
  of
• 26:39
  it.
• 26:39
  But
• 26:40
  really,
• 26:40
  it's
• 26:40
  up
• 26:40
  to
• 26:40
  you
• 26:41
  and
• 26:41
  how
• 26:41
  your
• 26:41
  painting
• 26:42
  process
• 26:42
  is
• 26:43
  going
• 26:43
  to
• 26:43
  be.
• 26:44
  And
• 26:44
  then
• 26:44
  you
• 26:44
  have
• 26:44
  to
• 26:45
  have
• 26:45
  the
• 26:45
  painter
• 26:45
  that's
• 26:45
  going
• 26:45
  to
• 26:45
  be
• 26:46
  the
• 26:46
  painting
• 26:46
  gone
• 26:47
  to
• 26:47
  be
• 26:47
  able
• 26:47
  to
• 26:47
  do
• 26:47
  that.
• 26:48
  So,
• 26:48
  like
• 26:49
  a
• 26:49
  lot
• 26:49
  of
• 26:49
  the
• 26:49
  Graco
• 26:50
  style
• 26:51
  paint,
• 26:51
  automatic
• 26:51
  painters,
• 26:52
  basically,
• 26:52
  your
• 26:52
  airless
• 26:53
  painters
• 26:53
  are
• 26:54
  really
• 26:54
  good.
• 26:54
  You'll
• 26:54
  see
• 26:55
  people
• 26:55
  do
• 26:55
  hvlp,
• 26:56
  which
• 26:56
  is
• 26:57
  high
• 26:57
  volume,
• 26:57
  low
• 26:57
  pressure.
• 26:58
  There's
• 26:58
  a
• 26:58
  lot
• 26:59
  of
• 26:59
  different
• 26:59
  ways
• 27:00
  to
• 27:00
  paint,
• 27:01
  but
• 27:01
  really,
• 27:01
  your
• 27:02
  typical
• 27:02
  plug
• 27:03
  in,
• 27:03
  go
• 27:03
  to
• 27:03
  the
• 27:03
  paint
• 27:04
  store,
• 27:04
  either
• 27:05
  buy
• 27:05
  or
• 27:05
  rent
• 27:05
  a
• 27:05
  sprayer
• 27:06
  is
• 27:07
  way
• 27:07
  most
• 27:07
  people
• 27:08
  do
• 27:08
  these
• 27:08
  moldings
• 27:08
  these
• 27:09
  days.
• 27:09
  They'll
• 27:09
  go
• 27:10
  through,
• 27:10
  get
• 27:10
  them
• 27:10
  all
• 27:10
  sanded,
• 27:11
  get
• 27:11
  everything
• 27:11
  filled,
• 27:12
  get
• 27:12
  them
• 27:12
  caulked,
• 27:13
  caulk
• 27:14
  between
• 27:14
  the
• 27:14
  molding
• 27:15
  and
• 27:15
  the
• 27:15
  wall
• 27:15
  surfaces.
• 27:16
  You
• 27:17
  won't
• 27:17
  see
• 27:17
  anything
• 27:18
  like
• 27:18
  the,
• 27:19
  oh,
• 27:19
  you
• 27:19
  won't
• 27:19
  see
• 27:19
  carpets
• 27:20
  in
• 27:20
  yet.
• 27:20
  A
• 27:21
  lot
• 27:21
  of
• 27:21
  that
• 27:21
  stuff
• 27:21
  will
• 27:21
  be
• 27:22
  done
• 27:22
  ready
• 27:22
  to
• 27:22
  go,
• 27:23
  and
• 27:23
  then
• 27:23
  they'll
• 27:23
  come
• 27:24
  through
• 27:24
  and
• 27:24
  spray
• 27:25
  all
• 27:25
  the
• 27:26
  trim
• 27:26
  work,
• 27:26
  all
• 27:27
  that
• 27:27
  mill
• 27:27
  work.
• 27:28
  Doors
• 27:28
  will
• 27:28
  be
• 27:28
  set
• 27:29
  up.
• 27:29
  They've
• 27:29
  got
• 27:29
  special
• 27:30
  hangers
• 27:30
  now
• 27:30
  that
• 27:30
  you
• 27:31
  can
• 27:31
  do
• 27:31
  to
• 27:31
  stack
• 27:31
  the
• 27:31
  doors
• 27:32
  up.
• 27:32
  That'll
• 27:32
  hold
• 27:32
  them
• 27:32
  upright
• 27:33
  much
• 27:34
  more
• 27:34
  like
• 27:34
  a
• 27:34
  commercial
• 27:35
  painting
• 27:35
  place.
• 27:36
  Some
• 27:37
  people
• 27:37
  order
• 27:37
  the
• 27:37
  doors
• 27:38
  pre
• 27:38
  painted.
• 27:39
  I've
• 27:39
  seen
• 27:39
  that
• 27:40
  happen,
• 27:40
  too.
• 27:40
  But
• 27:40
  really,
• 27:41
  it's
• 27:41
  just
• 27:41
  coming
• 27:42
  down
• 27:42
  to
• 27:42
  what,
• 27:42
  however,
• 27:43
  the
• 27:43
  builder
• 27:43
  or
• 27:43
  the
• 27:44
  remodeler
• 27:44
  is
• 27:44
  going
• 27:44
  to
• 27:44
  be
• 27:44
  handling
• 27:45
  it.
• 27:45
  And
• 27:45
  if
• 27:46
  it's
• 27:46
  you,
• 27:47
  this
• 27:47
  is
• 27:47
  where
• 27:47
  the
• 27:47
  paint
• 27:48
  prep
• 27:48
  again
• 27:49
  starts
• 27:50
  out.
• 27:50
  If
• 27:50
  you're
• 27:51
  repainting
• 27:51
  doors,
• 27:52
  you
• 27:52
  have
• 27:52
  to
• 27:52
  be
• 27:52
  really
• 27:52
  careful
• 27:53
  before
• 27:54
  you
• 27:54
  take
• 27:54
  the
• 27:54
  doors
• 27:55
  down
• 27:55
  to
• 27:55
  repaint.
• 27:55
  When
• 27:56
  you're
• 27:56
  doing
• 27:56
  a
• 27:56
  remodel,
• 27:56
  I
• 27:56
  want
• 27:57
  to
• 27:57
  see
• 27:57
  how
• 27:57
  close
• 27:57
  the
• 27:58
  reveals
• 27:58
  are
• 27:59
  on
• 27:59
  everything.
• 28:00
  Sometimes
• 28:00
  if
• 28:00
  you
• 28:01
  put
• 28:01
  two
• 28:01
  coats
• 28:01
  of
• 28:01
  paint
• 28:01
  on
• 28:02
  something,
• 28:02
  that
• 28:02
  door
• 28:02
  is
• 28:03
  not
• 28:03
  going
• 28:03
  to
• 28:03
  close
• 28:03
  correctly
• 28:04
  after
• 28:04
  that.
• 28:05
  So
• 28:05
  in
• 28:05
  that
• 28:05
  case,
• 28:06
  you
• 28:06
  might
• 28:06
  have
• 28:06
  to
• 28:06
  go
• 28:07
  around
• 28:07
  and
• 28:07
  either
• 28:07
  sand
• 28:08
  down
• 28:09
  or
• 28:09
  machine
• 28:10
  down
• 28:10
  the
• 28:10
  door
• 28:10
  slightly
• 28:11
  so
• 28:11
  you
• 28:11
  can
• 28:11
  do
• 28:11
  that.
• 28:12
  And
• 28:12
  so
• 28:13
  those
• 28:13
  are
• 28:13
  a
• 28:13
  lot
• 28:13
  of
• 28:13
  the
• 28:13
  little
• 28:14
  details
• 28:14
  that
• 28:14
  you
• 28:14
  have
• 28:14
  to
• 28:15
  do.
• 28:15
  And
• 28:15
  then
• 28:15
  you
• 28:15
  got
• 28:15
  to
• 28:15
  take
• 28:15
  all
• 28:15
  the
• 28:16
  hinges
• 28:16
  off
• 28:16
  and
• 28:16
  the
• 28:17
  hardware,
• 28:18
  keep
• 28:18
  that.
• 28:18
  I
• 28:19
  like
• 28:19
  to
• 28:19
  put
• 28:19
  that
• 28:19
  into
• 28:19
  either
• 28:20
  boxes
• 28:20
  or
• 28:21
  bags
• 28:21
  and
• 28:21
  put
• 28:22
  the
• 28:22
  bags
• 28:22
  near
• 28:22
  the
• 28:23
  rooms
• 28:23
  so
• 28:24
  where
• 28:24
  the
• 28:24
  hardware
• 28:24
  is
• 28:25
  so
• 28:25
  you
• 28:25
  don't
• 28:25
  lose
• 28:25
  it
• 28:25
  and
• 28:26
  get
• 28:26
  it
• 28:26
  mixed
• 28:26
  up,
• 28:27
  that
• 28:27
  can
• 28:27
  be
• 28:27
  a
• 28:27
  big
• 28:28
  issue,
• 28:28
  and
• 28:29
  those
• 28:29
  are
• 28:29
  some
• 28:29
  of
• 28:29
  my
• 28:29
  little
• 28:30
  tricks
• 28:30
  and
• 28:30
  tips
• 28:30
  to
• 28:31
  do
• 28:31
  that.
• 28:31
  But
• 28:32
  really,
• 28:32
  with
• 28:32
  doors,
• 28:33
  one
• 28:33
  thing
• 28:33
  you
• 28:33
  got
• 28:33
  to
• 28:33
  do
• 28:33
  is
• 28:34
  make
• 28:34
  sure
• 28:34
  you
• 28:34
  get
• 28:34
  all
• 28:34
  the
• 28:34
  grease
• 28:35
  and
• 28:35
  oil
• 28:35
  off,
• 28:35
  because
• 28:36
  every
• 28:36
  time
• 28:36
  our
• 28:37
  hands
• 28:37
  touch
• 28:37
  something,
• 28:38
  we're
• 28:38
  laying
• 28:39
  a
• 28:39
  layer
• 28:40
  of
• 28:40
  grease
• 28:40
  and
• 28:40
  oil
• 28:40
  on
• 28:41
  it.
• 28:41
  And
• 28:41
  if
• 28:42
  somebody
• 28:42
  used
• 28:42
  floor
• 28:43
  polishes,
• 28:44
  waxes,
• 28:45
  or
• 28:45
  even
• 28:46
  worse,
• 28:46
  somebody
• 28:46
  got
• 28:46
  in
• 28:46
  there
• 28:47
  with
• 28:47
  some
• 28:47
  WD
• 28:47
  40
• 28:48
  and
• 28:48
  got
• 28:48
  some
• 28:48
  silicone
• 28:49
  spray
• 28:50
  on
• 28:50
  the
• 28:50
  door,
• 28:50
  you've
• 28:51
  got
• 28:51
  a
• 28:51
  lot
• 28:51
  of
• 28:51
  cleanup
• 28:52
  before
• 28:52
  you
• 28:52
  go.
• 28:52
  Put
• 28:52
  anything
• 28:53
  water
• 28:53
  based
• 28:53
  over
• 28:53
  the
• 28:53
  top
• 28:54
  of
• 28:54
  that.
• 28:54
  So
• 28:55
  that
• 28:55
  could
• 28:55
  be
• 28:55
  a
• 28:55
  grand
• 28:56
  issue
• 28:56
  to
• 28:56
  deal
• 28:56
  with.
• 28:57
  So
• 28:57
  be
• 28:57
  careful
• 28:58
  with
• 28:58
  the
• 28:58
  finishes.
• 28:58
  They
• 28:59
  can
• 28:59
  layer
• 28:59
  up,
• 29:00
  and
• 29:00
  all
• 29:00
  of
• 29:00
  a
• 29:00
  sudden,
• 29:00
  the
• 29:01
  door
• 29:01
  is
• 29:01
  not
• 29:01
  closing
• 29:02
  correctly.
• 29:02
  And
• 29:03
  you've
• 29:03
  got
• 29:03
  some
• 29:03
  issues
• 29:04
  that
• 29:04
  way.
• 29:04
  And,
• 29:04
  of
• 29:04
  course,
• 29:05
  when
• 29:05
  you're
• 29:05
  painting
• 29:05
  doors,
• 29:05
  you
• 29:06
  want
• 29:06
  to
• 29:06
  paint
• 29:06
  all
• 29:06
  the
• 29:06
  sides,
• 29:07
  all
• 29:08
  the
• 29:08
  edges,
• 29:09
  get
• 29:09
  them
• 29:09
  sealed
• 29:09
  up
• 29:09
  correctly.
• 29:10
  It's
• 29:11
  something
• 29:11
  on
• 29:11
  some
• 29:11
  of
• 29:11
  the
• 29:12
  quick
• 29:12
  flips,
• 29:12
  you
• 29:12
  see
• 29:13
  where
• 29:13
  they
• 29:13
  miss
• 29:13
  it.
• 29:14
  But
• 29:14
  that's
• 29:14
  an
• 29:14
  important
• 29:15
  part
• 29:15
  of
• 29:15
  this
• 29:15
  process,
• 29:16
  to
• 29:16
  make
• 29:16
  sure
• 29:16
  they're
• 29:16
  all
• 29:17
  cleaned
• 29:17
  up,
• 29:17
  they're
• 29:17
  sealed
• 29:18
  up
• 29:18
  and
• 29:18
  ready
• 29:18
  to
• 29:19
  go.
• 29:19
  And
• 29:19
  the
• 29:20
  moldings,
• 29:20
  even
• 29:20
  though
• 29:21
  they're
• 29:21
  paint
• 29:21
  grade,
• 29:21
  you
• 29:21
  don't
• 29:21
  want
• 29:22
  to
• 29:22
  be
• 29:22
  having
• 29:22
  to
• 29:22
  go
• 29:22
  in
• 29:22
  there
• 29:22
  with
• 29:23
  filler
• 29:23
  and.
• 29:23
  And
• 29:24
  dealing
• 29:25
  with
• 29:25
  big
• 29:25
  cracks.
• 29:26
  If
• 29:26
  you
• 29:26
  didn't
• 29:27
  get
• 29:27
  the
• 29:27
  moldings
• 29:27
  cut
• 29:27
  right,
• 29:28
  cut
• 29:28
  them
• 29:28
  right,
• 29:28
  get
• 29:29
  them
• 29:29
  in
• 29:29
  there.
• 29:29
  Cause
• 29:30
  you're
• 29:30
  gonna
• 29:30
  see
• 29:31
  you.
• 29:31
  You
• 29:31
  could
• 29:31
  try
• 29:31
  to
• 29:32
  fake
• 29:32
  it,
• 29:32
  get
• 29:32
  in
• 29:32
  there
• 29:32
  with
• 29:32
  some
• 29:32
  caulking
• 29:33
  and
• 29:33
  some
• 29:33
  filler.
• 29:34
  But
• 29:34
  when
• 29:34
  things
• 29:34
  start
• 29:35
  moving
• 29:35
  around,
• 29:36
  that
• 29:36
  bad
• 29:36
  area
• 29:37
  is
• 29:37
  going
• 29:37
  to
• 29:37
  show.
• 29:38
  So
• 29:38
  make
• 29:39
  sure
• 29:39
  that
• 29:39
  your
• 29:39
  molding
• 29:40
  game
• 29:40
  was
• 29:40
  on
• 29:40
  correct
• 29:41
  and
• 29:41
  that
• 29:42
  you've
• 29:42
  got
• 29:42
  them.
• 29:42
  I
• 29:43
  like
• 29:43
  to
• 29:43
  actually,
• 29:43
  before
• 29:44
  I
• 29:44
  put
• 29:44
  moldings
• 29:44
  in
• 29:45
  these
• 29:45
  days
• 29:45
  that
• 29:45
  are
• 29:45
  painted,
• 29:46
  I
• 29:46
  will
• 29:47
  paint
• 29:47
  them
• 29:47
  once
• 29:47
  in
• 29:48
  the
• 29:48
  shop
• 29:48
  first
• 29:49
  just
• 29:49
  to
• 29:49
  get
• 29:49
  a
• 29:50
  coat
• 29:50
  on
• 29:50
  them,
• 29:50
  just
• 29:51
  because
• 29:51
  it
• 29:51
  makes
• 29:51
  it
• 29:52
  so
• 29:52
  much
• 29:52
  easier
• 29:52
  the
• 29:53
  next
• 29:53
  time.
• 29:53
  Then
• 29:54
  you
• 29:54
  can
• 29:54
  go
• 29:54
  in,
• 29:54
  shoot
• 29:55
  the
• 29:55
  moldings,
• 29:55
  get
• 29:55
  everything
• 29:56
  caulked
• 29:56
  in,
• 29:56
  filled
• 29:57
  in,
• 29:57
  and
• 29:58
  you're
• 29:58
  already
• 29:58
  a
• 29:58
  step
• 29:59
  closer
• 30:00
  and
• 30:00
  you've
• 30:00
  started
• 30:00
  out
• 30:00
  with
• 30:01
  at
• 30:01
  least
• 30:01
  something
• 30:02
  that's
• 30:02
  closer
• 30:03
  to
• 30:03
  getting
• 30:03
  finished
• 30:04
  and
• 30:04
  you've
• 30:04
  got
• 30:04
  one
• 30:04
  paint
• 30:05
  coat
• 30:05
  out
• 30:05
  of
• 30:05
  the
• 30:05
  way
• 30:06
  and
• 30:06
  it's
• 30:06
  easier
• 30:06
  to
• 30:07
  paint
• 30:07
  them
• 30:07
  all
• 30:07
  once
• 30:08
  when
• 30:08
  they're
• 30:08
  sitting
• 30:08
  there
• 30:09
  and
• 30:09
  you
• 30:09
  get
• 30:09
  at
• 30:10
  least
• 30:10
  a
• 30:10
  base
• 30:10
  coat
• 30:11
  on
• 30:11
  that
• 30:12
  and
• 30:12
  that'll
• 30:12
  sure
• 30:12
  help
• 30:12
  with
• 30:13
  those
• 30:13
  other
• 30:13
  coats.
• 30:13
  Just
• 30:13
  make
• 30:14
  sure
• 30:14
  you're
• 30:14
  reading
• 30:14
  your
• 30:14
  finishes
• 30:15
  and
• 30:15
  understanding
• 30:17
  when
• 30:17
  you
• 30:17
  can
• 30:17
  paint,
• 30:18
  when
• 30:18
  you
• 30:18
  can
• 30:18
  coat,
• 30:19
  how
• 30:19
  these
• 30:19
  things
• 30:20
  work
• 30:20
  out
• 30:20
  so
• 30:20
  you
• 30:20
  don't
• 30:21
  end
• 30:21
  up
• 30:21
  putting
• 30:21
  too
• 30:21
  much
• 30:21
  paint
• 30:22
  on
• 30:22
  and
• 30:22
  then
• 30:23
  you
• 30:23
  have
• 30:23
  a
• 30:23
  gummy
• 30:23
  finish
• 30:23
  or
• 30:23
  it
• 30:24
  just
• 30:24
  doesn't
• 30:24
  cure
• 30:24
  or
• 30:25
  even
• 30:25
  worse,
• 30:25
  it
• 30:25
  just
• 30:26
  starts
• 30:26
  looking
• 30:26
  bad.
• 30:27
  And
• 30:27
  that's
• 30:27
  the
• 30:27
  one
• 30:27
  thing
• 30:27
  you
• 30:28
  got
• 30:28
  to
• 30:28
  be
• 30:28
  careful
• 30:28
  with
• 30:29
  with
• 30:29
  all
• 30:29
  of
• 30:30
  these
• 30:30
  finishes,
• 30:30
  just
• 30:30
  to
• 30:31
  make
• 30:31
  sure
• 30:31
  that
• 30:31
  you're
• 30:31
  looking
• 30:31
  good
• 30:32
  there.
• 30:32
  So
• 30:33
  that's
• 30:33
  a
• 30:33
  key
• 30:33
  there.
• 30:34
  And
• 30:34
  then
• 30:35
  really
• 30:35
  just
• 30:36
  protecting
• 30:36
  it
• 30:37
  from
• 30:37
  then
• 30:37
  on
• 30:37
  out
• 30:38
  of
• 30:38
  that's
• 30:38
  the
• 30:38
  problem
• 30:38
  with
• 30:39
  MDF
• 30:39
  trims
• 30:39
  is
• 30:40
  if
• 30:40
  you
• 30:40
  bump
• 30:40
  it
• 30:40
  someplace,
• 30:41
  boy,
• 30:41
  it
• 30:42
  blows
• 30:42
  out
• 30:42
  really
• 30:42
  easily
• 30:43
  and
• 30:43
  then
• 30:43
  you've
• 30:43
  got
• 30:44
  some
• 30:44
  issues.
• 30:44
  So
• 30:45
  really
• 30:45
  good
• 30:45
  primer,
• 30:46
  couple
• 30:47
  really
• 30:47
  good
• 30:47
  coats
• 30:47
  of
• 30:47
  paint
• 30:48
  and
• 30:48
  you'll
• 30:48
  be
• 30:49
  looking
• 30:49
  good.
• 30:49
  And
• 30:50
  that's
• 30:50
  it.
• 30:51
  Now
• 30:51
  with
• 30:51
  a
• 30:52
  cabinetry,
• 30:52
  again,
• 30:53
  you
• 30:53
  just
• 30:53
  want
• 30:53
  to
• 30:53
  make
• 30:53
  sure
• 30:54
  that
• 30:54
  you're
• 30:54
  protecting
• 30:55
  that
• 30:55
  cabinets.
• 30:56
  Humidity
• 30:56
  is
• 30:56
  an
• 30:57
  issue.
• 30:57
  And
• 30:58
  so
• 30:58
  I've
• 30:58
  seen
• 30:58
  some
• 30:58
  issues
• 30:59
  out
• 30:59
  there
• 30:59
  with
• 30:59
  people
• 31:00
  in
• 31:00
  homes
• 31:00
  where
• 31:01
  they're
• 31:01
  painting
• 31:02
  out
• 31:02
  the
• 31:02
  entire
• 31:02
  home,
• 31:03
  including
• 31:03
  the
• 31:03
  cabinets.
• 31:04
  Those
• 31:04
  can
• 31:04
  really
• 31:05
  suck
• 31:05
  up
• 31:06
  moisture.
• 31:06
  So
• 31:06
  what
• 31:07
  I
• 31:07
  like
• 31:07
  to
• 31:07
  see
• 31:07
  done
• 31:08
  is
• 31:08
  when
• 31:08
  those
• 31:09
  cabinets
• 31:09
  come
• 31:09
  in
• 31:09
  early,
• 31:10
  I
• 31:10
  like
• 31:10
  to
• 31:10
  see
• 31:10
  those
• 31:11
  things
• 31:11
  get
• 31:11
  at
• 31:11
  least
• 31:11
  primed
• 31:12
  and
• 31:12
  sealed
• 31:13
  or
• 31:13
  primed
• 31:13
  and
• 31:14
  sealed
• 31:14
  from
• 31:14
  the
• 31:14
  factory
• 31:15
  so
• 31:15
  you
• 31:16
  dont
• 31:16
  have
• 31:16
  humidity
• 31:16
  issues,
• 31:17
  warping
• 31:18
  issues
• 31:18
  and
• 31:18
  things
• 31:18
  like
• 31:18
  that.
• 31:19
  And
• 31:19
  when,
• 31:20
  again,
• 31:20
  when
• 31:20
  youre
• 31:20
  painting
• 31:20
  the
• 31:21
  doors,
• 31:21
  I
• 31:21
  want
• 31:21
  to
• 31:21
  see
• 31:21
  paint
• 31:21
  on
• 31:22
  the
• 31:22
  front,
• 31:22
  back,
• 31:22
  top,
• 31:23
  sides,
• 31:23
  bottom,
• 31:23
  all
• 31:23
  of
• 31:24
  it.
• 31:24
  Alright.
• 31:25
  We
• 31:25
  come
• 31:25
  back,
• 31:25
  were
• 31:26
  going
• 31:26
  to
• 31:26
  talk
• 31:26
  about
• 31:26
  those
• 31:27
  problem
• 31:27
  areas
• 31:28
  and
• 31:28
  how
• 31:28
  to
• 31:28
  deal
• 31:28
  with
• 31:28
  them
• 31:29
  on
• 31:29
  any
• 31:29
  kind
• 31:29
  of
• 31:29
  a
• 31:29
  finished
• 31:30
  project.
• 31:31
  Really,
• 31:31
  what
• 31:31
  are
• 31:31
  the
• 31:31
  problems?
• 31:32
  How
• 31:32
  do
• 31:32
  we
• 31:32
  solve
• 31:33
  them
• 31:34
  and
• 31:34
  what
• 31:34
  are
• 31:34
  the
• 31:34
  tricks
• 31:35
  that
• 31:35
  makes
• 31:35
  the
• 31:36
  job
• 31:36
  so
• 31:36
  much
• 31:36
  easier.
• 31:37
  We'll
• 31:37
  do
• 31:37
  that
• 31:37
  just
• 31:38
  as
• 31:38
  soon
• 31:38
  as
• 31:38
  around
• 31:39
  the
• 31:39
  house
• 31:39
  returns.
• 31:39
  If
• 31:39
  you
• 31:40
  want
• 31:40
  to
• 31:40
  find
• 31:40
  out
• 31:40
  more
• 31:40
  about
• 31:40
  us,
• 31:41
  head
• 31:41
  to
• 31:41
  aroundthehouseonline.com.
• 31:43
  we'll
• 31:43
  be
• 31:43
  right
• 31:44
  back.
• 32:50
  Welcome
• 32:51
  back
• 32:51
  to
• 32:51
  the
• 32:51
  Round
• 32:51
  the
• 32:52
  House
• 32:52
  show,
• 32:52
  the
• 32:52
  next
• 32:53

• 32:53
  of

• 32:54
  Thanks
• 32:54
  for
• 32:54
  joining
• 32:54
  me
• 32:54
  today.
• 32:55
  I'm
• 32:56
  Eric
• 32:56
  G.
• 32:57
  And
• 32:57
  I
• 32:57
  tell
• 32:57
  you
• 32:57
  what,
• 32:58
  I
• 32:58
  love
• 32:58
  how
• 32:58
  we
• 32:58
  keep
• 32:59
  expanding
• 32:59
  the
• 32:59
  radio
• 32:59
  show
• 33:00
  out
• 33:00
  there.
• 33:00
  We
• 33:00
  keep
• 33:01
  growing
• 33:01
  into
• 33:02
  new
• 33:02
  markets
• 33:03
  out
• 33:03
  there.
• 33:03
  And
• 33:03
  if
• 33:03
  you're
• 33:03
  hearing
• 33:04
  us
• 33:04
  on
• 33:04
  the
• 33:04
  radio
• 33:04
  for
• 33:04
  the
• 33:05
  first
• 33:05
  time,
• 33:06
  thanks
• 33:06
  for
• 33:06
  tuning
• 33:06
  into
• 33:07
  around
• 33:07
  the
• 33:07
  house
• 33:07
  show.
• 33:07
  This
• 33:08
  show
• 33:08
  has
• 33:08
  been
• 33:08
  going
• 33:08
  for
• 33:09
  36
• 33:10
  years
• 33:10
  on
• 33:11
  the
• 33:11
  radio
• 33:11
  out
• 33:11
  there,
• 33:12
  and
• 33:12
  I
• 33:12
  am
• 33:12
  the
• 33:12
  fourth
• 33:13
  host
• 33:13
  and
• 33:13
  doing
• 33:14
  this
• 33:14
  coming
• 33:14
  up
• 33:14
  on
• 33:14
  another
• 33:15
  decade.
• 33:16
  Here's
• 33:17
  as
• 33:17
  my
• 33:17
  ten
• 33:17
  year
• 33:17
  anniversary
• 33:18
  is
• 33:18
  creeping
• 33:18
  up.
• 33:19
  We'll
• 33:19
  talk
• 33:19
  about
• 33:19
  that
• 33:19
  later.
• 33:20
  And
• 33:20
  of
• 33:20
  course,
• 33:20
  the
• 33:20
  podcast
• 33:21
  is
• 33:22
  across
• 33:22
  the
• 33:22
  world,
• 33:22
  internationally,
• 33:23
  on
• 33:23
  every
• 33:23
  podcast
• 33:24
  player
• 33:24
  that
• 33:25
  I'm
• 33:25
  aware
• 33:25
  of
• 33:25
  out
• 33:26
  there.
• 33:26
  So
• 33:26
  thanks
• 33:26
  for
• 33:26
  tuning
• 33:27
  us
• 33:27
  in
• 33:28
  and
• 33:28
  being
• 33:28
  making
• 33:29
  the
• 33:29
  show
• 33:29
  so
• 33:30
  successful.
• 33:30
  We
• 33:30
  have
• 33:31
  so
• 33:31
  many
• 33:31
  of
• 33:32
  you
• 33:32
  out
• 33:32
  there
• 33:32
  that
• 33:32
  tune
• 33:32
  into
• 33:32
  the
• 33:33
  show
• 33:33
  every
• 33:33
  week.
• 33:33
  I
• 33:34
  really
• 33:34
  appreciate
• 33:35
  every
• 33:35
  single
• 33:36
  one
• 33:36
  of
• 33:36
  you.
• 33:37
  Now,
• 33:37
  we've
• 33:37
  been
• 33:37
  talking
• 33:37
  about
• 33:38
  finishes
• 33:38
  here,
• 33:38
  whether
• 33:39
  it's
• 33:39
  painting
• 33:39
  inside,
• 33:40
  outside,
• 33:40
  and
• 33:40
  what
• 33:40
  are
• 33:40
  the
• 33:40
  problem
• 33:41
  areas.
• 33:42
  And
• 33:42
  one
• 33:42
  of
• 33:42
  the
• 33:42
  biggest
• 33:43
  ones
• 33:43
  are
• 33:44
  a.
• 33:45
  This
• 33:45
  is
• 33:45
  a
• 33:45
  big
• 33:46
  issue
• 33:46
  now.
• 33:47
  This
• 33:47
  is
• 33:47
  where
• 33:47
  I
• 33:48
  get
• 33:48
  stuck
• 33:48
  a
• 33:48
  little
• 33:48
  bit.
• 33:49
  I
• 33:49
  don't
• 33:49
  know
• 33:49
  what
• 33:49
  the
• 33:49
  biggest
• 33:50
  issue
• 33:50
  is
• 33:50
  in
• 33:50
  painting.
• 33:51
  I'm
• 33:51
  going
• 33:51
  to
• 33:51
  say
• 33:51
  one
• 33:51
  of
• 33:52
  the
• 33:52
  most
• 33:52
  common
• 33:52
  ones
• 33:53
  is
• 33:53
  going
• 33:53
  into
• 33:54
  a
• 33:55
  house
• 33:55
  that
• 33:56
  had
• 33:57
  just
• 33:58
  absolute
• 33:59
  nasty
• 34:00
  smokers
• 34:00
  in
• 34:00
  it,
• 34:01
  where
• 34:01
  you
• 34:01
  have
• 34:02
  walls
• 34:02
  that
• 34:02
  were
• 34:03
  white,
• 34:03
  maybe
• 34:04
  they
• 34:04
  were
• 34:04
  that
• 34:04
  1980s
• 34:05
  navajo
• 34:06
  white
• 34:06
  color,
• 34:07
  and
• 34:07
  now
• 34:07
  they're
• 34:08
  golden
• 34:08
  brown.
• 34:08
  Because
• 34:09
  you've
• 34:09
  had
• 34:09
  people
• 34:10
  smoking
• 34:10
  in
• 34:10
  the
• 34:10
  house
• 34:11
  for
• 34:11
  20
• 34:11
  or
• 34:11
  30
• 34:12
  years
• 34:12
  now.
• 34:12
  If
• 34:12
  you
• 34:13
  want
• 34:13
  to
• 34:13
  smoke,
• 34:13
  that's
• 34:13
  your
• 34:13
  deal.
• 34:14
  But
• 34:15
  if
• 34:15
  you're
• 34:15
  coming
• 34:15
  in
• 34:16
  and
• 34:16
  having
• 34:16
  to
• 34:16
  deal
• 34:17
  with
• 34:17
  this
• 34:17
  after
• 34:17
  the
• 34:18
  fact,
• 34:18
  I
• 34:19
  tell
• 34:19
  you
• 34:19
  what,
• 34:19
  it's
• 34:19
  almost
• 34:19
  easier
• 34:20
  to
• 34:20
  deal
• 34:20
  with
• 34:20
  a
• 34:20
  house
• 34:20
  fire
• 34:21
  in.
• 34:21
  That
• 34:22
  damage
• 34:23
  is
• 34:23
  done
• 34:23
  and
• 34:23
  it's
• 34:23
  so
• 34:24
  hard
• 34:24
  to
• 34:24
  clean
• 34:24
  up
• 34:25
  outside
• 34:25
  of
• 34:25
  just
• 34:25
  painting
• 34:26
  in
• 34:26
  there
• 34:26
  and
• 34:26
  the
• 34:26
  cleaning,
• 34:27
  you've
• 34:27
  got
• 34:27
  flooring,
• 34:28
  this
• 34:28
  ruined.
• 34:28
  You
• 34:28
  have
• 34:29
  an
• 34:29
  h
• 34:29
  vac
• 34:29
  system
• 34:30
  that
• 34:30
  might
• 34:30
  not
• 34:30
  be
• 34:31
  salvageable.
• 34:31
  There's
• 34:31
  a
• 34:31
  lot
• 34:32
  going
• 34:32
  on
• 34:32
  there.
• 34:33
  But
• 34:33
  when
• 34:33
  it
• 34:33
  comes
• 34:34
  to
• 34:34
  dealing
• 34:34
  with
• 34:35
  that,
• 34:35
  the
• 34:36
  first
• 34:36
  thing
• 34:36
  I
• 34:37
  do
• 34:37
  is
• 34:37
  come
• 34:37
  in
• 34:38
  and
• 34:39
  basically
• 34:39
  wipe
• 34:40
  the
• 34:40
  walls
• 34:40
  down.
• 34:40
  So
• 34:40
  I
• 34:41
  would
• 34:41
  get
• 34:41
  in
• 34:41
  there
• 34:42
  with
• 34:42
  dawn
• 34:42
  soap
• 34:43
  and
• 34:43
  some
• 34:43
  rags
• 34:44
  and
• 34:44
  just
• 34:44
  go
• 34:44
  through
• 34:45
  and
• 34:46
  try
• 34:47
  to
• 34:47
  get
• 34:47
  it
• 34:47
  as
• 34:47
  clean
• 34:48
  as
• 34:48
  I
• 34:48
  can,
• 34:49
  see
• 34:49
  if
• 34:49
  that'll
• 34:49
  get
• 34:50
  in
• 34:50
  there.
• 34:50
  Then
• 34:51
  the
• 34:51
  next
• 34:51
  thing
• 34:51
  is
• 34:52
  I
• 34:52
  just
• 34:52
  keep
• 34:52
  going
• 34:53
  over
• 34:53
  the
• 34:53
  walls
• 34:54
  and
• 34:54
  tarp
• 34:55
  it
• 34:55
  off,
• 34:55
  get
• 34:55
  up
• 34:55
  there,
• 34:56
  scrub
• 34:56
  it
• 34:56
  down.
• 34:57
  TSP
• 34:58
  works
• 34:58
  as
• 34:59
  well.
• 34:59
  Now,
• 35:00
  there's
• 35:00
  other
• 35:01
  things
• 35:01
  you
• 35:01
  can
• 35:01
  do.
• 35:02
  You
• 35:02
  can
• 35:02
  get
• 35:02
  into
• 35:02
  some
• 35:02
  of
• 35:03
  the
• 35:03
  commercial
• 35:03
  cleaning
• 35:04
  places,
• 35:05
  and
• 35:05
  there's
• 35:05
  a
• 35:05
  lot
• 35:05
  of
• 35:06
  stuff
• 35:06
  out
• 35:06
  there
• 35:06
  that
• 35:07
  works.
• 35:07
  I'm
• 35:07
  not
• 35:07
  going
• 35:07
  to
• 35:08
  endorse
• 35:08
  any
• 35:08
  one
• 35:09
  of
• 35:09
  them
• 35:09
  out
• 35:09
  there,
• 35:10
  but
• 35:10
  there
• 35:10
  are
• 35:10
  stuff
• 35:10
  that
• 35:11
  the
• 35:11
  fire
• 35:11
  department,
• 35:12
  the
• 35:12
  fire
• 35:12
  cleanup
• 35:12
  people
• 35:13
  use.
• 35:13
  There's
• 35:14
  stuff
• 35:14
  that
• 35:14
  you
• 35:14
  see
• 35:15
  people
• 35:15
  use
• 35:15
  in
• 35:15
  casinos
• 35:16
  for
• 35:16
  cleaning
• 35:17
  that
• 35:17
  stuff
• 35:17
  out
• 35:17
  of.
• 35:18
  There
• 35:18
  are
• 35:18
  chemicals
• 35:19
  out
• 35:19
  there.
• 35:19
  You
• 35:19
  just
• 35:19
  gotta
• 35:20
  be
• 35:20
  very
• 35:20
  careful.
• 35:20
  And
• 35:21
  some
• 35:21
  places
• 35:21
  you
• 35:21
  might
• 35:22
  not
• 35:22
  be
• 35:22
  able
• 35:22
  to
• 35:22
  get
• 35:22
  them,
• 35:23
  but
• 35:23
  there
• 35:23
  are
• 35:23
  chemicals
• 35:24
  out
• 35:24
  there
• 35:24
  that
• 35:24
  can
• 35:24
  make
• 35:25
  this
• 35:25
  job
• 35:25
  a
• 35:25
  little
• 35:25
  bit
• 35:26
  easier.
• 35:26
  So
• 35:26
  do
• 35:26
  your
• 35:27
  research,
• 35:27
  figure
• 35:27
  it
• 35:27
  out,
• 35:28
  and
• 35:28
  be
• 35:28
  safe
• 35:29
  with
• 35:29
  that.
• 35:30
  The
• 35:30
  next
• 35:31
  thing
• 35:31
  I
• 35:31
  wanna
• 35:31
  do
• 35:31
  is
• 35:32
  I
• 35:32
  wanna
• 35:32
  come
• 35:32
  in
• 35:33
  after
• 35:33
  I've
• 35:34
  got
• 35:34
  it
• 35:34
  all
• 35:34
  cleaned
• 35:34
  up,
• 35:35
  dried
• 35:35
  out
• 35:36
  humidity
• 35:36
  is
• 35:36
  back
• 35:37
  down
• 35:37
  in
• 35:37
  the
• 35:37
  house.
• 35:38
  I'm
• 35:38
  gonna
• 35:38
  go
• 35:39
  in
• 35:39
  and
• 35:39
  I'm
• 35:39
  gonna
• 35:40
  seal
• 35:40
  everything
• 35:41
  with
• 35:41
  a
• 35:42
  really
• 35:42
  good
• 35:43
  primer.
• 35:44
  Now,
• 35:44
  sometimes
• 35:45
  in
• 35:45
  this
• 35:45
  situation,
• 35:46
  if
• 35:46
  you
• 35:47
  can
• 35:47
  get
• 35:47
  one
• 35:47
  of
• 35:47
  the,
• 35:48
  the
• 35:48
  primers
• 35:48
  that
• 35:48
  have
• 35:49
  the
• 35:49
  alcohol
• 35:49
  based
• 35:50
  versus
• 35:51
  the,
• 35:51
  the
• 35:51
  latex
• 35:52
  base,
• 35:52
  sometimes
• 35:53
  those
• 35:53
  will
• 35:53
  work
• 35:53
  a
• 35:53
  little
• 35:54
  bit
• 35:54
  better
• 35:54
  because
• 35:55
  you
• 35:55
  never
• 35:55
  get
• 35:55
  all
• 35:55
  of
• 35:56
  the
• 35:56
  stuff
• 35:56
  off
• 35:56
  the
• 35:56
  wall.
• 35:57
  So
• 35:57
  you
• 35:57
  want
• 35:58
  to
• 35:58
  seal
• 35:58
  that
• 35:59
  in
• 35:59
  so
• 35:59
  you
• 35:59
  don't
• 36:00
  get
• 36:00
  the
• 36:00
  smell
• 36:00
  out
• 36:00
  from
• 36:01
  that
• 36:01
  anymore.
• 36:02
  And
• 36:02
  then
• 36:02
  you're
• 36:02
  going
• 36:02
  to
• 36:02
  go
• 36:02
  through
• 36:03
  and
• 36:03
  do
• 36:03
  your
• 36:03
  regular
• 36:04
  paint
• 36:04
  prep
• 36:04
  through
• 36:05
  everything
• 36:05
  else.
• 36:06
  But
• 36:06
  I
• 36:06
  would
• 36:06
  first,
• 36:07
  if
• 36:07
  it's
• 36:08
  just,
• 36:08
  you
• 36:08
  got
• 36:09
  it
• 36:09
  cleaned
• 36:09
  up,
• 36:09
  you
• 36:09
  got
• 36:09
  as
• 36:10
  clean
• 36:10
  as
• 36:10
  you
• 36:10
  can
• 36:10
  get
• 36:10
  it.
• 36:11
  Get
• 36:12
  that
• 36:12
  primer
• 36:12
  on
• 36:12
  that
• 36:13
  first
• 36:13
  so
• 36:13
  you
• 36:13
  can
• 36:13
  at
• 36:14
  least
• 36:14
  get
• 36:14
  that
• 36:14
  smell
• 36:15
  sealed
• 36:15
  in.
• 36:16
  And
• 36:16
  then
• 36:17
  I
• 36:17
  would
• 36:17
  do
• 36:17
  two
• 36:17
  or
• 36:18
  three
• 36:18
  coats
• 36:18
  of
• 36:18
  good
• 36:18
  paint,
• 36:19
  maybe
• 36:20
  even
• 36:20
  a
• 36:20
  second
• 36:20
  coat
• 36:21
  of
• 36:21
  primer
• 36:21
  if
• 36:21
  it
• 36:21
  looks
• 36:22
  like
• 36:22
  somethings
• 36:22
  bleeding
• 36:22
  through.
• 36:23
  Ive
• 36:23
  seen
• 36:24
  that
• 36:24
  happen,
• 36:25
  and
• 36:25
  that
• 36:25
  works
• 36:25
  out
• 36:26
  really
• 36:26
  well.
• 36:27
  That
• 36:27
  can
• 36:27
  be
• 36:27
  a
• 36:27
  tough
• 36:27
  one.
• 36:28
  And
• 36:28
  then,
• 36:29
  man,
• 36:29
  I
• 36:29
  tell
• 36:29
  you
• 36:29
  what,
• 36:30
  you
• 36:30
  will
• 36:30
  struggle
• 36:31
  to
• 36:31
  get
• 36:31
  that
• 36:31
  smell
• 36:32
  out.
• 36:32
  It
• 36:32
  can
• 36:32
  be
• 36:32
  done.
• 36:33
  Ive
• 36:33
  done
• 36:33
  it.
• 36:34
  But
• 36:34
  having
• 36:34
  a
• 36:35
  company
• 36:35
  come
• 36:35
  in,
• 36:35
  cleaning
• 36:36
  out
• 36:36
  the
• 36:36
  ducts,
• 36:36
  having
• 36:37
  the
• 36:37
  H
• 36:37
  vac
• 36:38
  person
• 36:38
  come
• 36:38
  in
• 36:39
  and
• 36:39
  clean
• 36:40
  out
• 36:40
  the
• 36:40
  heating
• 36:40
  and
• 36:41
  cooling
• 36:41
  unit,
• 36:41
  anything
• 36:41
  that's
• 36:42
  moving
• 36:42
  air,
• 36:43
  that
• 36:43
  can
• 36:43
  be
• 36:43
  pretty
• 36:44
  rough.
• 36:44
  Sometimes
• 36:45
  it's
• 36:45
  only
• 36:45
  in
• 36:45
  a
• 36:45
  bathroom
• 36:46
  or
• 36:46
  a
• 36:46
  bedroom,
• 36:47
  that
• 36:47
  might
• 36:47
  not
• 36:47
  be
• 36:47
  so
• 36:48
  bad.
• 36:48
  But,
• 36:49
  boy,
• 36:49
  I
• 36:49
  tell
• 36:49
  you
• 36:49
  what,
• 36:49
  I've
• 36:50
  seen
• 36:50
  some
• 36:50
  where
• 36:50
  you
• 36:51
  just,
• 36:51
  you
• 36:52
  just
• 36:52
  have
• 36:52
  to
• 36:52
  get
• 36:52
  in
• 36:52
  there
• 36:52
  and
• 36:53
  get
• 36:53
  it
• 36:53
  cleaned
• 36:53
  up,
• 36:53
  and
• 36:53
  it
• 36:53
  can
• 36:54
  be
• 36:54
  a
• 36:54
  rough
• 36:54
  one.
• 36:54
  So
• 36:54
  be
• 36:55
  careful
• 36:55
  with
• 36:55
  that.
• 36:56
  Another
• 36:56
  one
• 36:56
  we
• 36:57
  talked
• 36:57
  a
• 36:57
  little
• 36:57
  bit
• 36:57
  about,
• 36:58
  but
• 36:58
  peeling
• 36:58
  paint
• 36:59
  is
• 36:59
  always
• 36:59
  a
• 36:59
  story.
• 37:00
  Peeling
• 37:00
  on
• 37:00
  an
• 37:00
  interior
• 37:01
  wall
• 37:01
  that
• 37:01
  is,
• 37:02
  that
• 37:02
  is
• 37:03
  got
• 37:03
  a
• 37:03
  texture
• 37:03
  on
• 37:03
  it
• 37:03
  can
• 37:04
  be
• 37:04
  tough
• 37:04
  because
• 37:04
  when
• 37:04
  you
• 37:05
  sand,
• 37:05
  you're
• 37:05
  going
• 37:05
  to
• 37:05
  hurt
• 37:06
  that.
• 37:06
  Youre
• 37:07
  going
• 37:07
  to
• 37:07
  ruin
• 37:07
  that
• 37:07
  texture.
• 37:08
  That
• 37:08
  can
• 37:08
  be
• 37:08
  an
• 37:08
  issue.
• 37:09
  And
• 37:09
  a
• 37:09
  lot
• 37:10
  of
• 37:10
  times
• 37:10
  what
• 37:10
  happened
• 37:10
  is
• 37:11
  you
• 37:11
  have
• 37:11
  an
• 37:11
  older
• 37:11
  house
• 37:11
  that
• 37:12
  maybe
• 37:12
  had
• 37:12
  an
• 37:12
  oil
• 37:12
  based
• 37:13
  and
• 37:14
  somebody
• 37:14
  put
• 37:14
  latex
• 37:15
  on
• 37:15
  or
• 37:16
  a
• 37:16
  combination
• 37:16
  of
• 37:16
  latex
• 37:17
  and
• 37:17
  oil
• 37:18
  and
• 37:18
  you
• 37:18
  have
• 37:18
  adhesion
• 37:19
  problems.
• 37:19
  So
• 37:19
  what
• 37:19
  I
• 37:20
  want
• 37:20
  to
• 37:20
  do
• 37:20
  is
• 37:20
  get
• 37:20
  in
• 37:20
  there
• 37:21
  and
• 37:21
  get
• 37:22
  any
• 37:22
  of
• 37:22
  the
• 37:23
  loose
• 37:23
  paint
• 37:24
  off
• 37:24
  of
• 37:24
  that,
• 37:25
  get
• 37:25
  it
• 37:25
  dialed
• 37:25
  back,
• 37:26
  see
• 37:26
  what
• 37:26
  you
• 37:26
  can
• 37:26
  do
• 37:26
  to
• 37:27
  get
• 37:27
  it
• 37:27
  out
• 37:27
  of
• 37:27
  there
• 37:28
  once
• 37:28
  youve
• 37:28
  got
• 37:28
  that
• 37:29
  peeled
• 37:29
  back.
• 37:30
  And
• 37:30
  of
• 37:30
  course,
• 37:30
  follow
• 37:30
  your
• 37:31
  lead
• 37:31
  paint
• 37:31
  rules
• 37:31
  if
• 37:31
  there
• 37:32
  is
• 37:32
  some,
• 37:32
  because
• 37:32
  this
• 37:32
  is
• 37:32
  where
• 37:33
  that
• 37:33
  would
• 37:33
  get
• 37:33
  dangerous.
• 37:34
  But
• 37:35
  get
• 37:35
  that
• 37:35
  cleaned
• 37:35
  up
• 37:35
  and
• 37:36
  then
• 37:37
  what
• 37:37
  you
• 37:37
  can
• 37:37
  do
• 37:38
  is
• 37:38
  hit
• 37:38
  it
• 37:38
  with
• 37:39
  a
• 37:39
  adhesion
• 37:39
  primer
• 37:40
  over
• 37:40
  the
• 37:40
  top
• 37:40
  of
• 37:40
  that
• 37:41
  to
• 37:41
  make
• 37:41
  sure
• 37:42
  that
• 37:42
  your
• 37:42
  new
• 37:43
  paint
• 37:43
  is
• 37:43
  going
• 37:43
  to
• 37:43
  stick
• 37:44
  over
• 37:44
  all
• 37:44
  the
• 37:44
  top
• 37:44
  of
• 37:44
  it.
• 37:45
  Even
• 37:45
  if
• 37:46
  you
• 37:46
  put
• 37:46
  a
• 37:46
  primer
• 37:46
  on
• 37:46
  it,
• 37:46
  if
• 37:47
  it's
• 37:47
  still
• 37:47
  a
• 37:47
  failed
• 37:47
  finish,
• 37:48
  you're
• 37:48
  still
• 37:49
  going
• 37:49
  to
• 37:49
  fight
• 37:49
  that.
• 37:49
  So
• 37:50
  make
• 37:50
  sure
• 37:51
  you
• 37:51
  get
• 37:51
  anything
• 37:52
  loose
• 37:52
  or
• 37:52
  anything
• 37:53
  that's
• 37:53
  scraping
• 37:53
  off.
• 37:54
  Super
• 37:54
  easy,
• 37:54
  just
• 37:55
  clean
• 37:55
  it
• 37:55
  up,
• 37:55
  get
• 37:56
  it
• 37:56
  out
• 37:56
  of
• 37:56
  there.
• 37:57
  If
• 37:57
  you
• 37:57
  have
• 37:57
  to
• 37:57
  come
• 37:57
  back
• 37:58
  and
• 37:58
  retexture
• 37:59
  over
• 37:59
  the
• 37:59
  top
• 37:59
  fit
• 38:00
  fine.
• 38:00
  Do
• 38:01
  it.
• 38:01
  Just
• 38:02
  make
• 38:02
  sure
• 38:02
  if
• 38:02
  you're
• 38:02
  going
• 38:02
  to
• 38:03
  do
• 38:03
  that,
• 38:03
  get
• 38:04
  it
• 38:04
  all
• 38:04
  sanded
• 38:04
  down,
• 38:04
  ready
• 38:05
  to
• 38:05
  go,
• 38:05
  prime
• 38:05
  it,
• 38:06
  then
• 38:06
  texture
• 38:06
  it,
• 38:07
  then
• 38:07
  prime
• 38:07
  it
• 38:07
  again
• 38:08
  and
• 38:08
  you
• 38:08
  should
• 38:09
  be
• 38:09
  good
• 38:09
  to
• 38:09
  go.
• 38:10
  So
• 38:10
  that's
• 38:10
  the
• 38:10
  new
• 38:10
  thing
• 38:11
  with
• 38:11
  that
• 38:11
  is
• 38:11
  to,
• 38:11
  just
• 38:11
  to
• 38:12
  see,
• 38:12
  hey,
• 38:13
  what
• 38:13
  can
• 38:13
  we
• 38:13
  do
• 38:13
  with
• 38:13
  that?
• 38:14
  And
• 38:15
  try
• 38:15
  to
• 38:15
  get
• 38:15
  that
• 38:15
  saved
• 38:16
  because
• 38:16
  last
• 38:16
  thing
• 38:17
  you
• 38:17
  want
• 38:17
  to
• 38:17
  do
• 38:17
  is
• 38:17
  have
• 38:17
  to
• 38:18
  skim
• 38:18
  coat
• 38:18
  and
• 38:18
  do
• 38:19
  another
• 38:19
  finish
• 38:19
  over
• 38:19
  it
• 38:19
  or
• 38:20
  something
• 38:20
  like
• 38:20
  that.
• 38:20
  But
• 38:21
  sometimes
• 38:21
  that's
• 38:21
  almost
• 38:22
  the
• 38:22
  best
• 38:22
  way
• 38:22
  is
• 38:23
  to
• 38:23
  come
• 38:23
  in
• 38:23
  and
• 38:23
  do
• 38:23
  that.
• 38:24
  And
• 38:24
  that's
• 38:24
  the
• 38:24
  same
• 38:25
  thing
• 38:25
  with
• 38:25
  wallpaper.
• 38:26
  One,
• 38:26
  one
• 38:26
  trick
• 38:27
  that
• 38:27
  I've
• 38:27
  learned
• 38:28
  is
• 38:28
  that
• 38:29
  with
• 38:29
  wallpaper,
• 38:30
  if
• 38:30
  youre
• 38:30
  going
• 38:30
  to
• 38:30
  put
• 38:30
  wallpaper
• 38:31
  up
• 38:31
  that
• 38:31
  you
• 38:31
  want
• 38:31
  to
• 38:31
  take
• 38:31
  back
• 38:32
  down
• 38:32
  again.
• 38:33
  And
• 38:33
  wallpaper
• 38:33
  is
• 38:34
  hot
• 38:34
  right
• 38:34
  now.
• 38:35
  The
• 38:35
  secret
• 38:35
  is
• 38:36
  to
• 38:36
  wallpaper
• 38:38
  is
• 38:38
  to
• 38:38
  make
• 38:38
  sure
• 38:38
  that
• 38:39
  you
• 38:39
  have
• 38:39
  two
• 38:40
  really
• 38:41
  good
• 38:41
  coats
• 38:42
  of
• 38:42
  primer
• 38:43
  underneath
• 38:44
  that.
• 38:44
  So
• 38:45
  that
• 38:45
  way
• 38:45
  when
• 38:45
  you
• 38:46
  get
• 38:46
  up
• 38:46
  in
• 38:46
  there
• 38:47
  and
• 38:47
  youve
• 38:47
  got
• 38:47
  that
• 38:48
  drywall,
• 38:49
  basically
• 38:49
  a
• 38:50
  barrier
• 38:50
  between
• 38:50
  the
• 38:50
  glue
• 38:51
  and
• 38:51
  the
• 38:51
  drywall,
• 38:52
  two
• 38:52
  coats
• 38:52
  of
• 38:53
  high
• 38:53
  quality
• 38:53
  primer
• 38:54
  that
• 38:54
  will
• 38:54
  really
• 38:55
  do
• 38:55
  a
• 38:55
  lot
• 38:56
  and
• 38:56
  that
• 38:56
  will
• 38:56
  make
• 38:57
  that
• 38:57
  so
• 38:57
  it
• 38:57
  is,
• 38:58
  it's
• 38:58
  not
• 38:58
  going
• 38:58
  to
• 38:58
  stick
• 38:58
  and
• 38:59
  it'll
• 38:59
  come
• 38:59
  up
• 38:59
  pretty
• 38:59
  easy,
• 39:00
  especially
• 39:00
  if
• 39:00
  you
• 39:00
  use
• 39:01
  the
• 39:01
  new
• 39:01
  chemical
• 39:01
  strippers
• 39:02
  and
• 39:02
  stuff
• 39:02
  that,
• 39:03
  that
• 39:03
  will
• 39:03
  break
• 39:03
  down
• 39:03
  the
• 39:04
  glue
• 39:04
  for
• 39:04
  wallpaper.
• 39:04
  So
• 39:05
  make
• 39:05
  sure
• 39:05
  you
• 39:06
  got
• 39:06
  a
• 39:06
  couple
• 39:06
  coats
• 39:07
  of
• 39:07
  primer
• 39:07
  on
• 39:07
  before
• 39:08
  your
• 39:08
  wallpaper.
• 39:09
  And
• 39:09
  make
• 39:09
  sure
• 39:10
  you
• 39:10
  also
• 39:10
  have
• 39:10
  that
• 39:11
  if
• 39:11
  you
• 39:11
  got
• 39:11
  an
• 39:11
  eggshell
• 39:12
  texture
• 39:12
  or
• 39:12
  something
• 39:12
  on
• 39:12
  the
• 39:12
  wall
• 39:13
  or
• 39:13
  orange
• 39:14
  peel,
• 39:15
  make
• 39:15
  sure
• 39:15
  that
• 39:15
  you've
• 39:16
  either
• 39:16
  put
• 39:17
  in
• 39:17
  that
• 39:18
  first
• 39:18
  layer
• 39:19
  of
• 39:19
  the
• 39:19
  backer
• 39:20
  for
• 39:20
  that
• 39:20
  so
• 39:20
  you
• 39:20
  can
• 39:21
  hide
• 39:21
  that
• 39:21
  texture.
• 39:22
  Or
• 39:22
  the
• 39:22
  easiest
• 39:23
  way
• 39:23
  for
• 39:23
  me
• 39:23
  is
• 39:24
  I
• 39:24
  like
• 39:24
  to
• 39:24
  go
• 39:24
  through
• 39:24
  and
• 39:24
  just
• 39:25
  sand
• 39:25
  and
• 39:26
  skim
• 39:26
  coat
• 39:26
  and
• 39:27
  flatten
• 39:27
  that
• 39:28
  wall
• 39:28
  out
• 39:28
  so
• 39:28
  you
• 39:28
  can
• 39:29
  do
• 39:29
  wallpaper.
• 39:30
  Wallpaper
• 39:31
  is
• 39:31
  hot.
• 39:31
  It's
• 39:32
  a
• 39:32
  really
• 39:32
  good
• 39:32
  thing
• 39:33
  to
• 39:33
  do
• 39:33
  out
• 39:33
  there.
• 39:33
  But
• 39:33
  here's
• 39:34
  one
• 39:34
  lesson
• 39:34
  I've
• 39:35
  learned
• 39:35
  in
• 39:35
  the
• 39:35
  finish
• 39:36
  department
• 39:36
  of
• 39:36
  wallpaper.
• 39:37
  If
• 39:37
  you're
• 39:38
  ordering
• 39:38
  it
• 39:38
  from
• 39:38
  Amazon,
• 39:39
  don't
• 39:40
  waste
• 39:40
  your
• 39:40
  time.
• 39:40
  The
• 39:41
  stuff
• 39:41
  that
• 39:41
  I
• 39:41
  have
• 39:41
  found
• 39:42
  on
• 39:42
  there,
• 39:42
  that
• 39:42
  is
• 39:42
  vinyl.
• 39:43
  The
• 39:43
  only
• 39:44
  great
• 39:44
  use
• 39:44
  of
• 39:44
  that
• 39:44
  is
• 39:45
  maybe
• 39:45
  if
• 39:45
  you're
• 39:45
  in
• 39:45
  an
• 39:46
  apartment,
• 39:46
  you
• 39:46
  want
• 39:46
  to
• 39:46
  peel
• 39:46
  it
• 39:47
  back
• 39:47
  off
• 39:47
  again
• 39:47
  or
• 39:47
  without
• 39:48
  doing
• 39:48
  damage.
• 39:48
  Good
• 39:48
  luck.
• 39:49
  Hopefully
• 39:49
  you
• 39:49
  won't.
• 39:50
  But
• 39:50
  I
• 39:50
  tell
• 39:50
  you
• 39:50
  what,
• 39:51
  that
• 39:51
  is
• 39:51
  the
• 39:52
  junkiest
• 39:53
  of
• 39:53
  all
• 39:53
  junk.
• 39:53
  It
• 39:54
  stretches.
• 39:54
  You
• 39:55
  can't
• 39:55
  move
• 39:56
  it
• 39:56
  without
• 39:56
  stretching
• 39:56
  it.
• 39:57
  It
• 39:57
  falls
• 39:57
  apart.
• 39:58
  It
• 39:58
  comes
• 39:59
  off
• 39:59
  the
• 39:59
  wall.
• 40:00
  It
• 40:00
  is
• 40:01
  no
• 40:01
  different
• 40:01
  than
• 40:02
  your
• 40:02
  grandmother's
• 40:02
  shelf
• 40:03
  paper
• 40:03
  that
• 40:03
  she
• 40:03
  put
• 40:03
  on
• 40:03
  the
• 40:04
  inside
• 40:04
  of
• 40:04
  the
• 40:04
  cabinets
• 40:04
  when
• 40:05
  she
• 40:05
  moved
• 40:05
  houses.
• 40:06
  It
• 40:06
  is
• 40:06
  shelf
• 40:07
  paper.
• 40:07
  That's
• 40:07
  all
• 40:08
  it
• 40:08
  is.
• 40:08
  And
• 40:09
  you
• 40:09
  want
• 40:09
  to
• 40:09
  have
• 40:09
  something
• 40:10
  good
• 40:10
  and
• 40:10
  quality
• 40:11
  and
• 40:12
  it
• 40:12
  is
• 40:12
  almost
• 40:13
  impossible
• 40:14
  to
• 40:14
  get
• 40:14
  those
• 40:14
  things.
• 40:14
  I
• 40:15
  did
• 40:15
  a
• 40:15
  segment
• 40:15
  with
• 40:15
  that,
• 40:16
  with
• 40:16
  some
• 40:16
  stuff
• 40:16
  I
• 40:17
  ordered
• 40:17
  and
• 40:17
  I
• 40:17
  was
• 40:17
  like,
• 40:18
  I'm
• 40:18
  going
• 40:18
  to
• 40:18
  fight
• 40:18
  this.
• 40:19
  Yeah,
• 40:19
  it
• 40:19
  was
• 40:19
  junk.
• 40:20
  I
• 40:20
  got
• 40:20
  done
• 40:20
  with
• 40:20
  the
• 40:21
  segment,
• 40:21
  I
• 40:21
  ripped
• 40:21
  it
• 40:22
  down,
• 40:22
  sent
• 40:23
  it
• 40:23
  back
• 40:23
  to
• 40:23
  Amazon
• 40:24
  because
• 40:24
  there
• 40:24
  was
• 40:24
  no
• 40:25
  way
• 40:25
  you
• 40:25
  were
• 40:25
  going
• 40:25
  to
• 40:25
  hang
• 40:25
  that
• 40:26
  and
• 40:26
  make
• 40:26
  it
• 40:26
  look
• 40:26
  good.
• 40:27
  It
• 40:27
  was
• 40:27
  cut
• 40:28
  crooked,
• 40:29
  the
• 40:29
  edges
• 40:29
  were,
• 40:30
  were
• 40:30
  stretched.
• 40:31
  You
• 40:31
  couldn't
• 40:31
  even
• 40:31
  really
• 40:32
  hold
• 40:32
  it.
• 40:32
  A
• 40:32
  good
• 40:32
  texture
• 40:33
  on,
• 40:33
  good
• 40:33
  tension
• 40:34
  on
• 40:34
  to
• 40:34
  lay
• 40:34
  it
• 40:34
  out
• 40:35
  because
• 40:35
  it
• 40:35
  was
• 40:35
  a
• 40:35
  peel
• 40:36
  and
• 40:36
  stick.
• 40:37
  It's
• 40:37
  just
• 40:37
  not
• 40:37
  worth
• 40:38
  it.
• 40:38
  Guys.
• 40:38
  Go
• 40:38
  spend
• 40:39
  the
• 40:39
  right
• 40:39
  money.
• 40:40
  Head
• 40:40
  down
• 40:40
  to
• 40:40
  your
• 40:40
  painter
• 40:41
  decor
• 40:41
  store.
• 40:42
  There's
• 40:42
  online
• 40:43
  places
• 40:43
  as
• 40:43
  well.
• 40:44
  But
• 40:44
  really,
• 40:44
  if
• 40:44
  you've
• 40:45
  got
• 40:45
  a
• 40:45
  good
• 40:45
  design
• 40:45
  center,
• 40:46
  you
• 40:46
  can
• 40:46
  pop
• 40:46
  in,
• 40:47
  order
• 40:47
  a
• 40:47
  sample,
• 40:48
  put
• 40:49
  it
• 40:49
  up
• 40:49
  on
• 40:49
  the
• 40:49
  wall,
• 40:49
  make
• 40:50
  sure
• 40:50
  it's
• 40:50
  looking
• 40:50
  good,
• 40:51
  get
• 40:51
  it
• 40:52
  dialed
• 40:52
  in,
• 40:52
  and
• 40:53
  you're
• 40:53
  going
• 40:53
  to
• 40:53
  be
• 40:53
  much
• 40:53
  happier
• 40:54
  with
• 40:54
  that.
• 40:55
  And
• 40:55
  you'll
• 40:55
  have
• 40:55
  something
• 40:56
  that's
• 40:56
  good.
• 40:56
  Make
• 40:57
  sure
• 40:57
  that
• 40:57
  you're
• 40:57
  using
• 40:57
  the
• 40:57
  right
• 40:58
  glues
• 40:58
  when
• 40:58
  you
• 40:58
  put
• 40:58
  it
• 40:58
  up
• 40:59
  and
• 40:59
  you'll
• 40:59
  be
• 41:00
  fine.
• 41:00
  But
• 41:01
  making
• 41:01
  sure
• 41:01
  one
• 41:02
  other
• 41:02
  trick
• 41:02
  too
• 41:02
  is
• 41:03
  for
• 41:03
  you
• 41:03
  rookies
• 41:04
  out
• 41:04
  there
• 41:04
  that
• 41:05
  I
• 41:05
  have
• 41:05
  done
• 41:05
  is
• 41:05
  I
• 41:06
  have
• 41:06
  color
• 41:06
  matched
• 41:07
  the
• 41:08
  area
• 41:09
  behind
• 41:09
  it.
• 41:09
  So
• 41:09
  if
• 41:10
  you
• 41:10
  have
• 41:10
  a
• 41:11
  light
• 41:11
  blue
• 41:11
  wallpaper
• 41:12
  you're
• 41:12
  putting
• 41:12
  on
• 41:12
  the
• 41:13
  wall
• 41:13
  and
• 41:13
  the
• 41:13
  background
• 41:13
  is
• 41:13
  light
• 41:14
  blue,
• 41:14
  tell
• 41:14
  you
• 41:14
  what,
• 41:15
  if
• 41:15
  you
• 41:15
  put
• 41:15
  a
• 41:16
  light
• 41:16
  blue
• 41:16
  paint
• 41:17
  on
• 41:17
  the
• 41:17
  wall,
• 41:18
  let
• 41:18
  that
• 41:18
  dry
• 41:19
  for
• 41:19
  a
• 41:19
  day
• 41:19
  or
• 41:19
  two
• 41:20
  and
• 41:20
  that
• 41:20
  you
• 41:21
  color
• 41:21
  match
• 41:21
  to
• 41:21
  that,
• 41:22
  it
• 41:22
  just
• 41:22
  seems
• 41:23
  to
• 41:23
  go
• 41:23
  up
• 41:23
  there
• 41:23
  really
• 41:23
  easily.
• 41:24
  And
• 41:25
  with
• 41:25
  some
• 41:25
  of
• 41:26
  the
• 41:26
  thinner
• 41:26
  wallpapers,
• 41:27
  I
• 41:27
  think
• 41:27
  it
• 41:27
  actually
• 41:27
  enhances
• 41:28
  the
• 41:28
  look
• 41:28
  of
• 41:28
  it,
• 41:29
  but
• 41:29
  it's
• 41:30
  just
• 41:30
  good.
• 41:30
  It's
• 41:30
  a
• 41:30
  little
• 41:30
  cheat
• 41:31
  code
• 41:31
  that
• 41:31
  works
• 41:31
  if
• 41:32
  you're
• 41:32
  a
• 41:32
  brand
• 41:32
  new
• 41:32
  diyerhead
• 41:34
  and
• 41:34
  you
• 41:34
  can
• 41:34
  get
• 41:34
  away
• 41:34
  with
• 41:34
  a
• 41:35
  little
• 41:35
  bit
• 41:35
  more
• 41:35
  there,
• 41:35
  having
• 41:36
  that
• 41:36
  behind
• 41:36
  it,
• 41:37
  if
• 41:37
  you
• 41:37
  just
• 41:38
  take
• 41:38
  the
• 41:38
  time.
• 41:38
  Wallpaper
• 41:39
  is
• 41:39
  tough,
• 41:40
  but
• 41:40
  if
• 41:40
  you
• 41:40
  can
• 41:40
  do
• 41:41
  it
• 41:41
  yourself,
• 41:42
  it's
• 41:42
  a
• 41:42
  good
• 41:42
  way
• 41:42
  to
• 41:42
  do
• 41:42
  it.
• 41:43
  And
• 41:43
  really,
• 41:43
  the
• 41:43
  professionals
• 41:44
  don't
• 41:44
  charge
• 41:45
  you
• 41:45
  that
• 41:45
  much
• 41:45
  these
• 41:46
  days
• 41:46
  to
• 41:46
  get
• 41:46
  in
• 41:46
  there.
• 41:47
  And
• 41:48
  if
• 41:48
  you
• 41:48
  spend
• 41:48
  so
• 41:48
  much
• 41:49
  on
• 41:49
  wallpaper,
• 41:49
  you'll
• 41:49
  spend
• 41:50
  so
• 41:50
  much
• 41:50
  for
• 41:50
  installation.
• 41:51
  But
• 41:51
  the
• 41:52
  good
• 41:52
  guys
• 41:52
  come
• 41:52
  in
• 41:52
  there,
• 41:53
  those
• 41:53
  craftspeople,
• 41:54
  when
• 41:54
  they
• 41:54
  come
• 41:55
  in
• 41:55
  there
• 41:55
  with
• 41:55
  laying
• 41:56
  wallpaper,
• 41:56
  tell
• 41:56
  you
• 41:56
  what,
• 41:57
  those
• 41:57
  guys
• 41:57
  can
• 41:57
  get
• 41:57
  it
• 41:57
  down,
• 41:58
  whether
• 41:58
  you're
• 41:58
  putting
• 41:58
  on
• 41:58
  the
• 41:58
  walls,
• 41:59
  the
• 42:00
  ceiling.
• 42:00
  I
• 42:00
  was
• 42:00
  at
• 42:00
  a
• 42:00
  house
• 42:01
  earlier
• 42:01
  this
• 42:01
  week
• 42:02
  where
• 42:02
  it
• 42:03
  was
• 42:03
  on
• 42:03
  the
• 42:03
  ceiling
• 42:03
  that
• 42:04
  was
• 42:04
  absolutely
• 42:04
  gorgeous
• 42:05
  in
• 42:05
  the
• 42:05
  dining
• 42:05
  room.
• 42:06
  It
• 42:06
  looked
• 42:06
  really
• 42:06
  good.
• 42:07
  It
• 42:07
  was
• 42:07
  in
• 42:07
  between
• 42:07
  the
• 42:07
  exposed
• 42:08
  beams
• 42:08
  and
• 42:09
  it
• 42:09
  looked
• 42:09
  like
• 42:09
  a
• 42:10
  million
• 42:10
  bucks.
• 42:11
  So
• 42:11
  that's
• 42:11
  another
• 42:11
  great
• 42:12
  place
• 42:12
  that
• 42:12
  you
• 42:12
  can
• 42:12
  put
• 42:13
  stuff.
• 42:13
  So
• 42:14
  think
• 42:14
  outside
• 42:14
  the
• 42:14
  box
• 42:15
  a
• 42:15
  bit
• 42:15
  behind
• 42:16
  some
• 42:16
  shelves
• 42:16
  on
• 42:16
  the
• 42:17
  ceiling.
• 42:18
  Think
• 42:18
  about
• 42:18
  what
• 42:18
  you
• 42:19
  want
• 42:19
  for
• 42:19
  durability
• 42:19
  because,
• 42:20
  you
• 42:20
  know,
• 42:20
  bathrooms,
• 42:21
  you
• 42:21
  need
• 42:21
  to
• 42:21
  have
• 42:21
  something
• 42:21
  that's
• 42:21
  a
• 42:21
  little
• 42:22
  bit
• 42:22
  more
• 42:22
  vinyl,
• 42:23
  so
• 42:23
  it'll
• 42:23
  take
• 42:24
  the
• 42:24
  moisture.
• 42:25
  Whether
• 42:25
  you're
• 42:25
  putting
• 42:25
  in
• 42:26
  other
• 42:26
  stuff,
• 42:26
  just
• 42:26
  think
• 42:27
  about
• 42:27
  the
• 42:27
  durability.
• 42:27
  Kids
• 42:28
  rooms
• 42:28
  might
• 42:28
  be
• 42:28
  a
• 42:28
  little
• 42:29
  tough
• 42:29
  if
• 42:29
  you
• 42:29
  have
• 42:29
  a
• 42:29
  little
• 42:29
  kids,
• 42:30
  but
• 42:30
  there's
• 42:31
  a
• 42:31
  lot
• 42:31
  of
• 42:31
  things
• 42:31
  you
• 42:31
  can
• 42:31
  do
• 42:32
  with
• 42:32
  that
• 42:32
  to
• 42:33
  make
• 42:33
  it
• 42:33
  look
• 42:33
  really
• 42:33
  good.
• 42:34
  And
• 42:34
  wallpaper,
• 42:35
  these
• 42:35
  days,
• 42:35
  if
• 42:35
  you
• 42:36
  do
• 42:36
  the
• 42:36
  prep,
• 42:36
  it
• 42:36
  will
• 42:36
  come
• 42:37
  off
• 42:37
  and
• 42:37
  it's
• 42:37
  not
• 42:38
  that
• 42:38
  big
• 42:38
  a
• 42:38
  deal.
• 42:38
  It's
• 42:39
  not
• 42:39
  like
• 42:39
  trying
• 42:39
  to
• 42:39
  take
• 42:39
  that
• 42:40
  1920s
• 42:40
  stuff
• 42:41
  down
• 42:41
  that
• 42:41
  was
• 42:41
  laid
• 42:42
  right
• 42:42
  over
• 42:42
  the
• 42:42
  top
• 42:42
  of
• 42:42
  the
• 42:42
  plaster.
• 42:43
  And
• 42:44
  good
• 42:44
  luck
• 42:44
  getting
• 42:44
  that
• 42:45
  off
• 42:45
  without
• 42:45
  doing
• 42:45
  wall
• 42:46
  damage.
• 42:46
  Sometimes
• 42:46
  it's
• 42:46
  just
• 42:47
  easier
• 42:48
  to
• 42:48
  tear
• 42:48
  it
• 42:48
  out,
• 42:49
  rip
• 42:50
  it
• 42:50
  down,
• 42:50
  put
• 42:51
  up
• 42:51
  new
• 42:51
  drywall
• 42:52
  and
• 42:52
  start
• 42:52
  over
• 42:52
  again.
• 42:53
  All
• 42:53
  right,
• 42:53
  everybody,
• 42:54
  if
• 42:54
  you
• 42:54
  want
• 42:54
  to

  more
