- 0:05Audio shared by Testecleese: We're gonna… there's gonna be a new world order out there.
- 0:08Audio shared by Testecleese: I'm leaving.
- 0:11Audio shared by Testecleese: Nash covert.
- 0:13Audio shared by Testecleese: Who are fake news?
- 0:15Audio shared by Testecleese: I am not suicidal!
- 0:19Audio shared by Testecleese: We'll circle back with you directly. I can circle back, I'll circle back Do not come.
- 0:27Audio shared by Testecleese: Do not cough.
- 0:29Audio shared by Testecleese: I'm gonna come.
- 0:30Testecleese: Hello, and welcome to episode 328 of the Jeffrey and Brian Show. I am Jeffrey.
- 0:37Brian McFadden: Brian.
- 0:39Audio shared by Testecleese: You know, with this two guys drinking some beer, Target, what's going on.
- 0:44Testecleese: You know, basically the news cycle.
- 0:46Testecleese: Brian, we've never shied away from the fact that we enjoy the flower occasionally, right?
- 0:55Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 0:56Testecleese: Never even tried to pretend like it wasn't something that, you know, we do. Hey, we're all sinners, but…
- 1:02Testecleese: you know.
- 1:03Testecleese: I don't think marijuana's that big a thing compared to some other stuff out there. Right. But yeah, I just got a crop ready.
- 1:12Testecleese: I cured it, got it all good to go,
- 1:19Testecleese: a couple, about a quarter pound, which I could have done better, but I was trying to grow it in the wrong conditions in my house in the winter.
- 1:29Testecleese: But yeah, I, I combined, Purple Urkel, and Purple Haze.
- 1:39Testecleese: by breeding them together, and I need to come up with a cool name for it.
- 1:45Testecleese: I was thinking maybe Urkel Hayes?
- 1:48Testecleese: But I'm sure… I'm sure it'll hit me at the right time, you know what I mean?
- 1:55Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 1:56Testecleese: Alright. Oh, jeez. Virginia just keeps showing up no matter where we look, huh?
- 2:03Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 2:06Testecleese: apparently this redistricting, referendum going on in Virginia.
- 2:10Brian McFadden: Democrats are pushing through.
- 2:12Testecleese: Yeah, it looks like it might not necessarily happen, like.
- 2:16Testecleese: It's not a… not, quote, a done deal yet.
- 2:19Brian McFadden: No, they're getting worried, because… I mean, George Soros…
- 2:23Testecleese: Constitution says you can't?
- 2:25Brian McFadden: Yeah, pretty much. Your Soros is spending billions of dollars in advertising in the state. We literally… if you watch local TV, you're seeing Obama commercials, like, every 5 minutes, saying, hey, this and that, you know?
- 2:42Testecleese: Didn't they… didn't Virginia, just a couple… like, right after I left, didn't they just do something to draw lines to make, like, the… the…
- 2:52Testecleese: Popular vote… not the popular vote, the electoral vote.
- 2:56Brian McFadden: We have…
- 2:57Testecleese: Is it the popular vote?
- 2:59Brian McFadden: No, they talked about it, but it never actually went.
- 3:01Testecleese: No, I could've sworn they passed it, like, 5 years ago.
- 3:06Brian McFadden: They wanted to be the… they wanted… they wanted to do that, but it never went through. This… this thing was put in place saying that there's gonna be an independent commission that does the districting in Virginia, and the only way to get around that is to, like.
- 3:25Brian McFadden: Vote on it twice in two different legislatures, which they gerrymandered that, too, by, like, saying,
- 3:34Brian McFadden: You know, they worked it out where they had a special session that they said was one of them, and then another one was the regular session.
- 3:43Brian McFadden: To try to push it through before this next election cycle.
- 3:47Brian McFadden: And… You know, but then it's up to the voters to decide. This is a April 21st election.
- 3:57Brian McFadden: Only the really super die-hard people are showing up to vote for an election in April.
- 4:03Brian McFadden: Wow. And what they're worried about is because…
- 4:06Testecleese: that, you say that.
- 4:07Brian McFadden: Because we're really worried because Republicans have been out in superforce voting early.
- 4:16Testecleese: That's the thing is, though, I still think voting early is a stupid decision, and I understand the logic, but…
- 4:22Brian McFadden: I get it.
- 4:23Testecleese: I know, I know, so you cast a vote.
- 4:26Testecleese: Excuse me, in a state that you're technically not going to be registered in when the vote goes through.
- 4:33Brian McFadden: Maybe, maybe not.
- 4:34Testecleese: Is… is that voter fraud?
- 4:36Brian McFadden: No, because I voted… No, I'm worried I was a legal resident of the state.
- 4:42Testecleese: Your vote doesn't count until voting day.
- 4:45Brian McFadden: Well, then I won't register to be a Michigan resident until after April.
- 4:49Testecleese: No, but you get my point, is that voter fraud is easier than people realize.
- 4:55Testecleese: Even if you.
- 4:56Brian McFadden: That one…
- 4:57Testecleese: Usually playing by.
- 4:57Brian McFadden: Close.
- 4:58Testecleese: Buck.
- 4:59Testecleese: Are you kidding me? That's so easy to illegally vote through a mail-in ballot. My brother asked me to vote for him in a mail-in ballot.
- 5:07Testecleese: And I was like, well, that's voter fraud AND election, mail fraud.
- 5:14Testecleese: And I'm not accusing you, I'm not saying you shouldn't be allowed to, I'm just saying, I don't know what the rules are, honestly. It's possible, though, as soon as you register in Michigan.
- 5:24Testecleese: your name will come off and your vote will be taken out. I don't know. I doubt that, honestly. I think that's the issue Trump is trying to,
- 5:32Testecleese: close up, honestly, with this, SAVE Act.
- 5:36Brian McFadden: It's not gonna pass.
- 5:38Testecleese: No, and why not, Brian?
- 5:42Brian McFadden: Because there's… Because there's too many Democrats that want the illegals to be able to vote.
- 5:49Testecleese: The Democrat who's, though? The Democrat voter is 71% in favor.
- 5:56Brian McFadden: the Democrat representatives and Senators.
- 6:00Testecleese: Is it because they perhaps know that they won't be able to, take office if… non…
- 6:08Testecleese: Yeah. Legal, registered voters are voting for him. How many dead people voted this last time? There were, like, 112.
- 6:15Brian McFadden: Not as many when the Kennedys were running for election.
- 6:18Testecleese: Whoa.
- 6:20Testecleese: Well, the Kennedy's a great example. Where are they from?
- 6:24Brian McFadden: Massachusetts!
- 6:26Testecleese: Yeah.
- 6:27Testecleese: Speaking of, I just rewatched Seinfeld.
- 6:31Testecleese: in the background, when I was doing stuff in the house.
- 6:34Testecleese: And I remember that the show ended with them standing trial of, like, all the way they've, ways they've wronged people.
- 6:42Testecleese: I didn't realize it was in Massachusetts when the plane had to have an emergency landing.
- 6:48Testecleese: They got nailed with a Good Samaritan law, because they just watched and laughed at a guy for getting carjacked, and then they brought in everyone that they had made fun of, or ruined their lives.
- 7:00Testecleese: to testify against him, and I was like, oh!
- 7:03Testecleese: It was a good ending.
- 7:05Brian McFadden: Nice.
- 7:08Testecleese: Alright.
- 7:09Testecleese: Well, again, the mail-in ballots…
- 7:13Testecleese: Almost as if, Brian, I think of the conversation we might have before I lay this thing out, right?
- 7:20Testecleese: Supreme Court is actually, they're poised to limit… I don't even know what that means. But yes, I know what it means, but…
- 7:28Testecleese: They are making a decision, or they might make a decision, or they might hear the case about.
- 7:34Brian McFadden: Very hurry.
- 7:35Brian McFadden: They already heard the case.
- 7:37Testecleese: Okay.
- 7:38Brian McFadden: This is gonna be a ruling soon.
- 7:41Testecleese: Okay, so we're gonna get a ruling.
- 7:43Testecleese: And… what bothered me was a lot of people immediately brought up active duty.
- 7:51Testecleese: It's like, oh, they don't get to vote now? And all I could think was.
- 7:55Testecleese: Have any of you guys read any of these rules?
- 7:58Testecleese: No, it's especially carved out.
- 8:02Brian McFadden: This is 4 hours.
- 8:02Testecleese: active duty military so that they get to vote. You don't decide to go on vacation and forgot to
- 8:09Testecleese: cashed your ballot before you left. You don't get to do it
- 8:13Testecleese: Through the mail in a foreign country. Right. You know?
- 8:20Testecleese: And sorry, you were speaking, I spoke right over you. Where were you going?
- 8:28Testecleese: Mail-in ballots, and people said the military can't vote.
- 8:31Brian McFadden: Well, I think this… this… this ruling is going to be targeted against the western states, like Washington, Oregon, and California, that are 100% male-in ballot. There are… it's no in-person balloting in those states.
- 8:49Testecleese: When you say 100%, I gotta say that can't be true.
- 8:52Brian McFadden: It is true. Look it up.
- 8:53Testecleese: 100%.
- 8:55Brian McFadden: It's all one… it's all mail and ballot, they do not…
- 8:58Testecleese: There's literally.
- 8:58Brian McFadden: No polling.
- 8:59Testecleese: There's not even a… there's not even a way to vote in person.
- 9:01Brian McFadden: Nope, nope, gotta win.
- 9:03Testecleese: I don't believe it.
- 9:04Brian McFadden: Look it up!
- 9:05Testecleese: Then why do I keep hearing about wait times to cast a vote?
- 9:10Brian McFadden: Not in California, Oregon, or Washington State.
- 9:13Testecleese: Nowhere I have ever lived if I had to wait in line more than, like, 2 minutes to vote.
- 9:19Testecleese: And those usually because, like, the three.
- 9:20Brian McFadden: I have in Virginia when I voted on Election Day for Oba… when Obama was on the ticket.
- 9:29Testecleese: Wow, that was a long time ago.
- 9:32Testecleese: You know, check this out, I met Obama.
- 9:37Testecleese: I got to shake his hand.
- 9:39Testecleese: And, you know what? I didn't agree with his policy, necessarily, but I was.
- 9:43Brian McFadden: Bill, he's President of the United States.
- 9:45Testecleese: Yeah, he was President of the United States, and I was active duty United States Navy, and I had the opportunity to shake the President's hand.
- 9:51Brian McFadden: do it.
- 9:52Testecleese: I was like, of course I'm gonna shake the president's hand! And now you got these, like, these athletes, like, no, I'm not gonna go meet the president. I'm like, you're out of your fucking mind.
- 10:00Brian McFadden: Okay, I could be wrong. You can vote in person in California.
- 10:05Testecleese: Alright.
- 10:06Testecleese: And there's no way they're saying you have to mail it, because what if someone can't afford the stamp?
- 10:12Testecleese: Right? We can't afford to get ID, I can't afford a stamp.
- 10:19Testecleese: Well, that's not legal.
- 10:20Brian McFadden: You can vote in person in Washington, but it works a little differently.
- 10:25Testecleese: Well, each state does have their own voting…
- 10:28Testecleese: rules. Yeah. I think that's… I think that's a big issue, and I laugh a little bit.
- 10:34Brian McFadden: There are no traditional neighborhood polling places.
- 10:37Brian McFadden: In Washington State.
- 10:40Testecleese: Really, I used to go to the… even when I moved back to Massachusetts, then left again.
- 10:45Brian McFadden: Mmm.
- 10:45Testecleese: I voted at the local elementary school.
- 10:48Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 10:49Testecleese: Just so that there weren't a thousand people voting in the same place.
- 10:54Brian McFadden: Right.
- 10:56Testecleese: You know, this… that…
- 10:58Testecleese: That sounds like a system you would use, like the waiting line sounds like a system you'd use to try to keep people from voting in time.
- 11:06Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 11:09Testecleese: Just open up more places that we can legally, accept ballots, right?
- 11:15Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 11:18Testecleese: Huh, alright.
- 11:19Testecleese: Alright, moving on.
- 11:23Testecleese: You know Adam Carolla, right?
- 11:25Brian McFadden: Of course! Everybody knows that as Barola.
- 11:27Testecleese: Yeah, it's funny, because I…
- 11:28Brian McFadden: Podcasting.
- 11:30Testecleese: What's that?
- 11:31Brian McFadden: He invented podcasting.
- 11:32Testecleese: No, Adam Carolla did not.
- 11:35Testecleese: Adam Curry did.
- 11:37Brian McFadden: Thank you.
- 11:40Brian McFadden: There's testing you.
- 11:41Testecleese: He's the part father, and we all know.
- 11:43Brian McFadden: Oh, and I'll.
- 11:47Testecleese: Adam Carroll was on The Man Show with Jimmy Kimmel back in the day, and he did Loveline with Dr. Drew.
- 11:54Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 11:55Brian McFadden: For years.
- 11:56Testecleese: Yes.
- 11:58Testecleese: He's a comedian.
- 12:00Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 12:01Testecleese: And he's got a podcast.
- 12:02Brian McFadden: But he's made a ton of money from… Doing his own podcasting thing.
- 12:07Testecleese: Oh, he's doing excellent.
- 12:09Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 12:10Testecleese: Yeah. Well, he actually recently just had Dr. Drew on the show.
- 12:16Testecleese: And they were talking about, you know, this and that, but the fire in California came up.
- 12:22Testecleese: That happened to the Palisades.
- 12:25Testecleese: And, oh my, he went off.
- 12:29Testecleese: Several female members of the Los Angeles Board of Fire Commissioners resigned.
- 12:35Testecleese: 4 out of 5 members are leaving amid scrutiny of the Los Angeles Fire Department over its blunders and management of the Palisades Fire, and the Los Angeles Times reported on March 18th. Crowell said on his show that appointing people based on their identities for positions is deadly.
- 12:53Testecleese: And this is something that's been brought up over and over and over again.
- 12:58Testecleese: Was when you say, we have to have this many women, In the fire department.
- 13:04Testecleese: A lot of people will go to the…
- 13:06Testecleese: oh, I don't want a 40… a 140-pound woman carrying me down 3 flights of stairs. Which is funny, because one of these women on the board was actually, well, maybe you shouldn't be in a situation where you need a 140-pound woman to carry you down 4 flights of stairs.
- 13:23Brian McFadden: You think?
- 13:23Testecleese: But she was like, what the fuck? Why the hell would I call the fire department, then, if I could do it on my own, right?
- 13:29Testecleese: Yeah.
- 13:30Testecleese: But, yeah, and so instead of putting them on the firefighting voice, they put him on the fucking…
- 13:35Testecleese: the Commissioner's Board… to make decisions, And, you know, they…
- 13:45Testecleese: It's not that they were women.
- 13:47Testecleese: is that they had no idea what the fuck they were doing, or how any of this shit works, and they got the job BECAUSE they were women, and it made the numbers fit.
- 13:57Testecleese: And like I said, 80% of them just quit.
- 14:01Testecleese: Because of what happened. They're like, oh, we blew it. We killed… how many people, how many billions of dollars disappeared?
- 14:09Testecleese: And then California went and taxed them for their fucking property value after the fact, too.
- 14:16Brian McFadden: Right.
- 14:17Testecleese: Interesting how everyone gives a shit about the Palisades fight, but…
- 14:21Testecleese: everyone forgot about the hurricane in North Carolina that people are still recovering from. And they're not, you know, 100 millionaires like the Palisades.
- 14:34Testecleese: Crazy shit.
- 14:37Testecleese: Oh, robert Mueller died.
- 14:41Testecleese: Muller, whatever his name is.
- 14:45Testecleese: I guess we should bring it up, he was, he was the one who made up the fake Russiagate report.
- 14:51Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 14:53Testecleese: Which was proven that was made up and fake, and funded by Hillary Clinton, but…
- 14:59Testecleese: No one cares, right?
- 15:01Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 15:04Brian McFadden: They do not.
- 15:06Testecleese: What ain't the heck?
- 15:08Testecleese: This is a big problem I have, Brian, is… I want to criticize Trump more, but I'm so busy defending the guy against just made-up bullshit.
- 15:17Testecleese: Like, people swear to God it's a proven fact, he's a pedophile rapist, and I was like, wh-
- 15:22Testecleese: Can you show at anywhere, and like, oh, I heard it, I heard it.
- 15:27Testecleese: And I was like, okay, well, Biden raped me. I'm like, no he didn't. I was like, well, no, you just heard it, therefore it's true.
- 15:34Brian McFadden: Violent.
- 15:36Testecleese: So we… It's not in a,
- 15:40Testecleese: Just because some rando says, I hate Trump and accused him of a crime, doesn't mean it actually happened.
- 15:47Brian McFadden: No.
- 15:48Testecleese: And that, again, Dude, wasn't he, like, the left's favorite person for, like, 20 years?
- 15:54Brian McFadden: Billy registered as Republican.
- 15:57Testecleese: Yeah, exactly. When he ran… when he came down the escalator said, I'm running as a Republican, with, not… was it Steve Carell?
- 16:05Testecleese: I was like, I thought he was running as a joke.
- 16:10Testecleese: And all they've done is make jokes since.
- 16:13Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 16:16Testecleese: Alright.
- 16:20Testecleese: this… plane crash, I guess.
- 16:25Testecleese: In New York, yeah.
- 16:27Testecleese: The best knowledge I have got so far is…
- 16:32Testecleese: The air traffic controller made a mistake.
- 16:35Testecleese: Realized it.
- 16:37Testecleese: Because they gave clearance to the fire truck to go across the runway.
- 16:40Brian McFadden: Yeah, we're the pleasure.
- 16:41Testecleese: As…
- 16:42Brian McFadden: tag thing.
- 16:43Testecleese: Exactly, but then could not get them to turn around on the communications.
- 16:51Testecleese: And I'm just wondering why the person on the other end of the communications could not, hear them, because there's no response, and they just kept going, and…
- 17:00Testecleese: Both pilots are dead.
- 17:03Brian McFadden: Yep. Everybody in the front of the plane are dead.
- 17:05Testecleese: Jeez.
- 17:07Testecleese: Except for.
- 17:07Brian McFadden: I mean, if you look at the photos, the plane literally went up on top of the fire truck, basically.
- 17:13Testecleese: And then snapped the nose off.
- 17:16Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 17:18Testecleese: And I've heard people say dumb shit, like, this is what happens when it hits a fire truck, you think it's gonna take down the Twin Towers?
- 17:25Testecleese: These guys have no idea what physics is, just like these assholes that say, jet fuel doesn't burn hard enough to melt steel.
- 17:32Testecleese: You don't need to melt the steel, you just need to make it weak enough, soft enough that it falls apart. It just bends.
- 17:40Testecleese: And… Yes, you're right, it, it…
- 17:43Testecleese: The fire truck wasn't completely obliterated, there were pieces of it still there. However, the plane also wasn't traveling at 300 miles an hour!
- 17:53Brian McFadden: No, it was doing, like, 35 miles an hour.
- 17:57Testecleese: And this is something that people don't think about.
- 18:00Testecleese: It's like, do you understand inertia?
- 18:02Testecleese: Do you understand heat stress? Do you understand, fluid dynamics? Thermodynamics?
- 18:09Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 18:11Testecleese: Man.
- 18:12Brian McFadden: No, nobody understands.
- 18:13Testecleese: Yeah, Guapo's listening to us now, or at least he's logged in here, but he's got muted, so I'm wondering if he's got.
- 18:20Brian McFadden: He's got someone.
- 18:21Testecleese: real… I clicked him in.
- 18:23El Guapo: Are you guys hearing me?
- 18:25Testecleese: Yeah, now I can, you were muted.
- 18:26El Guapo: I know, I commuted myself because I got company.
- 18:30Testecleese: Alright, you got a little hum in the background, but you do sound.
- 18:33Brian McFadden: Oh, it's on… that microphone's so much better than the… How about now?
- 18:38Brian McFadden: But, I like it.
- 18:40Testecleese: He's gonna be the new Verizon commercial, can you hear me now?
- 18:43Brian McFadden: Can you hear me now?
- 18:44El Guapo: that, I was at the bar with my friend, Jen.
- 18:49Brian McFadden: Alright.
- 18:49El Guapo: Like, who's texting you? Like, oh my god, everybody think I'm, like, always a secret. Like, my friend Brian, like, what you got?
- 18:55Testecleese: It's like, we do some shit on Friday, okay?
- 18:58Brian McFadden: Yeah, that's very funny.
- 18:59El Guapo: He's like, what is a Canadian? You're like, oh my god, like, it's a podcast.
- 19:05Brian McFadden: Don't you want to be a guest on the show?
- 19:08El Guapo: You wanna be a guest? Depends what you're talking about.
- 19:10Testecleese: Oh! I knew she was there!
- 19:13El Guapo: That's why I put the camera on.
- 19:17Brian McFadden: We're not gonna be that judgmental, we like differing opinions, so…
- 19:21Testecleese: No, we love… we actually love to speak to people that completely disagree with us, but don't worry, even if you turn the camera on, only Brian and I can see it.
- 19:30Brian McFadden: We're not, we're not broadcasting video anywhere.
- 19:36El Guapo: It's okay.
- 19:37El Guapo: You're the only pretty one that can be on camera.
- 19:39Testecleese: Oh, shit, she blew your name up, Guapo!
- 19:42El Guapo: Wapo, that's what my name is.
- 19:44Brian McFadden: What do you think of that microphone, Jeffrey?
- 19:47Testecleese: Oh! It's so much better than the, the…
- 19:51Testecleese: Hearing him bounce off of three walls…
- 19:55Brian McFadden: Is that a refrigerator?
- 19:56Testecleese: Alright.
- 19:56El Guapo: It looks very professional.
- 19:59Testecleese: I'm listening to his laundry tumble.
- 20:01Brian McFadden: In the background.
- 20:04El Guapo: They can hear it.
- 20:05Brian McFadden: Thankfully, he only does that once a month.
- 20:10El Guapo: That is true, dude, I only got 3 pairs of socks, 3 pairs of underwear, so I only have to do laundry once a month.
- 20:20Testecleese: wait a minute, if you only have, like, 3 pairs of underwear, you should be doing laundry stuff.
- 20:25Brian McFadden: 30.
- 20:25Testecleese: You should be blowing laundry at least every 3 days.
- 20:32Testecleese: But yeah, if you're interested in, do you have a name, or something we can refer to you as?
- 20:39El Guapo: Jen?
- 20:41Testecleese: Alright.
- 20:41Brian McFadden: Ray.
- 20:43Testecleese: Alright, yeah, well, I mean… No, no, I'm going.
- 20:46Brian McFadden: Is that, like, a million…
- 20:47Testecleese: He's gonna lead…
- 20:48Brian McFadden: Listen to this show anyway, so…
- 20:50Testecleese: Oh, I know in Guabo, she's gonna leave him in, like, 45 minutes and never come back.
- 20:57El Guapo: Well, she knows, we've been, like, what, friends for, like, 2 years now? Yeah.
- 21:01Brian McFadden: Nice.
- 21:02Testecleese: Alright, so you're not gonna hear our opinions on the… well, I don't know how much he told you about what we do, but we basically drink a bunch of beer and talk about the weekly news cycle.
- 21:12El Guapo: Gotcha.
- 21:14Testecleese: We each have our own little areas of expertise, but yeah, we're just 3 drunken sailors getting together.
- 21:21Brian McFadden: That's what we call… that's what the…
- 21:23El Guapo: I am also a sailor.
- 21:25Testecleese: No shit.
- 21:26Brian McFadden: What was your age?
- 21:27El Guapo: SonarStack E4.
- 21:30Testecleese: Okay, cool.
- 21:31Brian McFadden: Cool.
- 21:32Testecleese: I got, yeah, HT2 myself.
- 21:35Brian McFadden: MC1!
- 21:39Testecleese: Yeah, you know what's crazy? Brian was a fucking photographer, but he went to Sears School.
- 21:44Brian McFadden: I did go to certain school. I had to, I was in combat camera.
- 21:48Testecleese: I know, I welded nuclear reactors!
- 21:51Testecleese: And the fucking photographer went to Sears School.
- 21:56Brian McFadden: Don't be a hater.
- 21:59Testecleese: Use your rates, who's your fate, right?
- 22:00Brian McFadden: Yeah. I went to Brunswick, Maine, as the snow was falling. I was running around in the prisoner of war camp naked when there was snow on the ground.
- 22:10El Guapo: Yeah, well…
- 22:11Brian McFadden: It was not a fun… there was some shriveling going on.
- 22:15Testecleese: I've done that before, but that's just because it was beer night.
- 22:20Testecleese: Owners.
- 22:21Brian McFadden: Yeah,
- 22:22Testecleese: sonar tech. I remember talking to you guys, doing the ESWAS thing, and… here, listen to this. I'm like, okay, that's cool. You're like, oh, that's shrimp, and if you wait long enough, you're gonna hear the humpback wail again. I was like, no fucking way!
- 22:37Testecleese: They're like, how do you know that's shrimp?
- 22:39Testecleese: You know?
- 22:40El Guapo: We have to go to school to learn what all the sounds are.
- 22:43Testecleese: Oh, what's crazy is, not just that.
- 22:46Testecleese: not just, like, marine biology, like, oh, that's a, that's a Russian fishing vessel. It's got about, 1,500 horsepower, two dual diesel engines. I'm like, how the fuck do you know that?
- 22:58El Guapo: Because we have to go to school and memorize all that, but that stuff's classified, so nobody should be telling you that.
- 23:06Testecleese: Yes.
- 23:08Testecleese: And I'm not saying anything in particular, I'm just saying that you guys can identify things ridiculously. Just like, I can't tell you a lot of stuff I did. I had a top-secret clearance as well, and most people don't think HD.
- 23:21Brian McFadden: I didn't have time secret clearance, because I went to Cat & Mass over my top secret clearance.
- 23:26Testecleese: Well, I had to be able to do an emergency repair anywhere on the ship at any time, so I had to have access to every space, no matter what.
- 23:35Testecleese: Like I said, I did, an emergency repair on the nuclear reactor, lead shield.
- 23:42Testecleese: I got epilepsy and had to have brain surgery, but…
- 23:47Testecleese: The rest of my crew didn't get poisoned.
- 23:49El Guapo: Hey, and at least you don't glow in the dark.
- 23:53Testecleese: I know, but I didn't get any cool superpowers!
- 23:57Testecleese: Like, I can't climb walls, like, I should have found a spider to bite me, huh?
- 24:02El Guapo: Maybe if the spider came out of the reactor.
- 24:05Testecleese: Exactly, the spider would have to be radioactive.
- 24:08Testecleese: But yeah, I got… I got dosed pretty good, but… Not, not enough.
- 24:12Brian McFadden: You're still able to have kids!
- 24:15Testecleese: Yeah, okay, what's famous about nuclear ships and having kids after them?
- 24:21El Guapo: Do you have girls?
- 24:22Testecleese: Yes, I have two daughters.
- 24:27Testecleese: Exactly, and I… and mine was later, it wasn't, like, right when I came home.
- 24:32Testecleese: But again, I took a big enough dose to end up with a… like I said, I had to have brain surgery, but…
- 24:39Testecleese: Shit happens, we all sign up, and, you know, had it not been for all that, I wouldn't be here now, so…
- 24:46Brian McFadden: I wouldn't know ya.
- 24:49Brian McFadden: So, who is Anthony Albanese?
- 24:55Testecleese: Oh! He's the Prime Minister of, Australia.
- 24:59Brian McFadden: Oh, we needed the repeat offender on for this one.
- 25:02Testecleese: Well, he went to a mosque to, like, celebrate the end of Ramadan, like, hey, we love, you know, Islam.
- 25:10Brian McFadden: Hello, yo.
- 25:11Testecleese: Glad you're here.
- 25:12Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 25:13Testecleese: Yeah, they chased him out of the mosque, and cursed at him, and threw shit at him.
- 25:18El Guapo: Oh, that sucks.
- 25:20Testecleese: And it's like, ugh, why are you even trying then, dude?
- 25:24Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 25:24Testecleese: Like, they don't want to be apart.
- 25:26Brian McFadden: Right.
- 25:27Testecleese: And, you know, granted, maybe a different mosque might have been different, but.
- 25:32Brian McFadden: Not likely.
- 25:33Testecleese: I don't know.
- 25:35Testecleese: But, like, maybe put feelers out before you try to friggin' do this shit publicly, you know what I mean?
- 25:43Brian McFadden: Well, in other exciting news, the Secret Service agents have been protecting Jill Biden.
- 25:50Brian McFadden: Unfortunately, one of them shot themselves in the Philadelphia airport.
- 25:55El Guapo: There's another…
- 25:56Testecleese: In the leg.
- 25:56El Guapo: off, you know?
- 25:58Testecleese: It's funny, I read this article, and I was like.
- 26:01Testecleese: I just don't know if I give a shit to talk about the Secret Service again. And then both you shared it.
- 26:09El Guapo: He tried to get a day off, but, like, you can just ask.
- 26:13Testecleese: Well, actually, the first thing I went into was, the guy shot him in his… himself in the leg. Like, these are supposed to be, like, the best, like…
- 26:21Brian McFadden: Yeah, they're the most bus.
- 26:23Testecleese: Yeah, these are, like, SEALs and, like, Delta Force guys.
- 26:27El Guapo: You know, I think what happened, Trump is like, okay, you want DEI? You get DEI hires, right here.
- 26:32Testecleese: Well, that's… no, I immediately went to that, what, 4'10 woman that was trying to cover Trump when he was shot?
- 26:41Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 26:42Testecleese: And I was like, she can't possibly protect him, she's just not big enough to use her body as a shield. And don't get me wrong, she made all the right moves.
- 26:51El Guapo: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:52Testecleese: Put herself right in the way.
- 26:54El Guapo: I mean, I could see her, she protected another woman, but not 6'4", 6-something guy, you know?
- 27:00Testecleese: Yeah, like, he got shot in the… in the ear, which is the head, right?
- 27:06Testecleese: Like, she's not protecting his head with her body.
- 27:08Testecleese: And, again, she made all the right moves, but she just wasn't physically big enough.
- 27:13El Guapo: Yeah.
- 27:14Testecleese: This is something that has to be taken into account.
- 27:18El Guapo: Yeah, you match the person to the, I mean, the body type for that person, you know?
- 27:22Testecleese: Let's be real, dude, how many people are big enough to stand in front of Donald Trump and block him with their body?
- 27:28El Guapo: Probably only, like, 10%… 1% of the 1%? Yeah.
- 27:31Testecleese: He's a… he's a very big man. He's been losing some weight lately, but he's still, what, 6'2" or something, or 6'4", or something silly?
- 27:40Testecleese: The average man is 5'10".
- 27:43El Guapo: I think it's about 8.
- 27:45Testecleese: Oh, well, fuck, I like that even better, that makes me tall.
- 27:49El Guapo: No, no, New Year's just average. That's all.
- 27:53Testecleese: That means I'm taller than the average person, then. Awesome. Because I'm sick and tired of looking up at people.
- 28:02Testecleese: Forever!
- 28:03Testecleese: Oh, oh, and some shit just got released,
- 28:08Testecleese: I'm not even sure how it got released, but from the CIA under Biden, check this out, they listed, motherhood and homemaking.
- 28:17Testecleese: As, extremism.
- 28:20El Guapo: In the United States.
- 28:22Brian McFadden: Jesus.
- 28:25Testecleese: Well, no, well, they brought up, like.
- 28:27Testecleese: Catholics are extremists. And I was like, really? What was the last time you heard a Catholic scream, like.
- 28:33Testecleese: For the glory of Jesus, and blow themselves up.
- 28:36Brian McFadden: Nobody.
- 28:36Testecleese: You know? It just doesn't happen.
- 28:39Testecleese: And it's… the Catholics are actually the worst lately amongst the Christians, and not… Even protecting themselves.
- 28:48Testecleese: Well, we got, the resurrection coming up.
- 28:52Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 28:53Brian McFadden: Easter Sunday's this Sunday, or Palm Sunday is this Sunday, and Easter is the following Sunday.
- 29:00Testecleese: Yeah, my, My two daughters are gonna be baptized on, Easter Sunday.
- 29:05Brian McFadden: Oh, nice. That's cool.
- 29:08El Guapo: M.
- 29:09Testecleese: We got, some of the wife's air for… well… A friend of the wives.
- 29:15Testecleese: from the Air Force.
- 29:17Testecleese: That's gonna be the godfather.
- 29:20Testecleese: And, his wife is gonna be the godmother.
- 29:24Testecleese: But,
- 29:25Testecleese: They only do baptisms at this church on Easter and Christmas, because there's only, like… there's only, like, 30 congregants.
- 29:34El Guapo: Oh.
- 29:37Testecleese: Yeah.
- 29:38Testecleese: But I'm… I'm the widow.
- 29:41Testecleese: For going to church.
- 29:43Testecleese: You know?
- 29:45Testecleese: It's, it's ancient… oh, shit!
- 29:47Brian McFadden: Well, I've been working on it, I've been working on it!
- 29:50Testecleese: Hold on!
- 29:51Brian McFadden: I have been working on this for months!
- 29:54Testecleese: God is involved!
- 29:55Brian McFadden: Nope, you know it!
- 29:58Testecleese: You here yet?
- 30:01Testecleese: Alright, I'm sorry, what… one of the greatest friends of the show has, decided to join tonight.
- 30:09Brian McFadden: She's on microphone, no video, that's fine.
- 30:12Testecleese: Yeah, I'm hoping she can hear us, but… Alright.
- 30:18Testecleese: Maybe she's busy, fill, getting a beer.
- 30:23Testecleese: Yeah, but Brian got Claire somehow. I've been trying to get Claire to come on for a while now.
- 30:30Testecleese: Anyway, motherhood and homemaking.
- 30:33Testecleese: We… I don't know what you consider… is homemaking just, like, a stay-at-home parent?
- 30:39El Guapo: It's a fancy word for a stay-at-home parent, yeah.
- 30:42Testecleese: Okay. Cause we homestead.
- 30:44Testecleese: And I'm wondering, does that count as terrorism?
- 30:47El Guapo: More, like, independent from groceries and…
- 30:51Testecleese: Yeah, like, we can goods, we, we hunt, We grow food.
- 30:57Testecleese: that whole spectrum, you know what I mean?
- 31:00Testecleese: And we spend so much less on groceries, but it's a lot more work physically.
- 31:06El Guapo: Yeah.
- 31:08Testecleese: But… I don't need to work, so I can spend my time Cleaning, a deer.
- 31:15Testecleese: And, you know what I mean, and butchering it.
- 31:17Brian McFadden: She said she's working on audio right now.
- 31:20Testecleese: Oh, alright.
- 31:22Testecleese: alright.
- 31:24Brian McFadden: It's still awesome to, like, even have her make the appearance.
- 31:28Brian McFadden: Whether we can hear her or not on the show…
- 31:32Testecleese: I know.
- 31:33Brian McFadden: He's like… he's like one of our long-time… Participants in the show.
- 31:40Testecleese: From the fir- oh, trying again.
- 31:42Brian McFadden: Yeah, here we go.
- 31:43Testecleese: From… from the first season, maybe?
- 31:45Brian McFadden: Oh yeah, pro- no, most definitely from the first season, yeah.
- 31:49Brian McFadden: Because you knew her from… you knew her from the ship, so…
- 31:53Testecleese: Ow!
- 31:53Brian McFadden: Yay! Yeah!
- 31:57Testecleese: Video and everything, how you doing, Claire?
- 32:00Claire Rose Hill: Good! Give me one sec.
- 32:02Brian McFadden: Alright.
- 32:04Claire Rose Hill: My phone is being weird.
- 32:05Testecleese: I know, we're gonna get way off-topic here, because I have a thousand questions.
- 32:13Brian McFadden: We've been waiting for Claire to show up to ask her all the foreign policy questions.
- 32:17Testecleese: Who is it not poison?
- 32:18Testecleese: There's shit going on in general.
- 32:22Testecleese: Like, your brother-in-law just got a machete in the head or something stupid?
- 32:26Claire Rose Hill: Oh, yeah!
- 32:27Brian McFadden: That's why she doesn't live in the same state anymore. She relocated.
- 32:32Testecleese: And then what I said?
- 32:34Brian McFadden: For her own safety!
- 32:35Testecleese: Satanist partner, relationship ended, and, like, I'm just saying, a lot of shit's been going down. I understand why you've been so busy, you know?
- 32:43Claire Rose Hill: Oh yeah, I got my own place again.
- 32:45Brian McFadden: Awesome, awesome.
- 32:49Testecleese: Oh… Great question.
- 32:51Testecleese: I'm happy to see you, and you know, I would have loved to have talked to you about a couple of things in the past, a couple topics we brought up, but glad to have you here. Again, I understand.
- 33:00Brian McFadden: Definitely.
- 33:01Testecleese: life to do.
- 33:03Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 33:04Testecleese: You hear we're gonna build a fucking base on the moon?
- 33:08Claire Rose Hill: Oh yeah, I've… I heard about that. I'm…
- 33:12Claire Rose Hill: One of the things they?
- 33:17Claire Rose Hill: Once you get over the low gravity and the bone density problem.
- 33:22Claire Rose Hill: you can actually pretty much let humans live anywhere. I mean, the water's there, all you have to do is apply pressure to the soil on the ground, and it's gonna excrete water.
- 33:31Testecleese: Are you sure about that on the moon? I'm pretty sure it's on Mars.
- 33:36El Guapo: Yeah, right?
- 33:36Claire Rose Hill: Mars has ice. They performed experiments back in the 70s, where they would actually put, dirt from the moon under pressure, and it started to produce water.
- 33:48Testecleese: See, that's interesting, because you think, if it wasn't in ice form…
- 33:52Testecleese: It would, evaporate under no… almost, no pressure.
- 33:58Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, got me on that one. I'm just quoting something I heard many years ago, so…
- 34:02Testecleese: No, I understand, but I'm just… I'm thinking of how, I have a… I have a giant propane tank, right?
- 34:08Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 34:09Testecleese: That I use for a, emergency generator for my home. But if it gets down below zero degrees Fahrenheit, the propane won't turn from a liquid into a gas if it's below 30 degrees, below zero degrees Fahrenheit.
- 34:24Testecleese: So I can't use that liquid propane To fuel my house.
- 34:30Testecleese: So, it's the same, because the pressure, temperature, etc, etc, etc, but you remove all pressure and all temperature.
- 34:41Testecleese: It should… it should turn into either ice or gas, right?
- 34:45El Guapo: Well, yeah.
- 34:46Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I don't understand the physics of it, to be honest.
- 34:48Testecleese: Yeah, no, I know, these guys…
- 34:51Testecleese: Don't get me wrong, I'm not a dumb man, by any means, but…
- 34:56Testecleese: When they start talking about shit like this, it's like, oh, geez, that's…
- 35:00Testecleese: Who the fuck's getting paid to figure this shit out, you know?
- 35:04El Guapo: engineers and stuff like that, but at the same time, the only reason you can use liquid propane, because the density, so the equipment's not designed for that.
- 35:15El Guapo: It's condensed.
- 35:16Testecleese: Oh, no, the…
- 35:17El Guapo: You go through the…
- 35:19Testecleese: It was too cold, so the propane wouldn't, turn into gas, it wouldn't evaporate.
- 35:25Testecleese: So I had a 30% tank full, 30% full tank.
- 35:29Testecleese: But it was liquid in my tank, it was worthless to me.
- 35:34Testecleese: Because you can't pump liquid propane and light it on fire, you know?
- 35:37El Guapo: Because of this.
- 35:38Claire Rose Hill: So it's chemically bound. That's the kicker. On the moon, it's exists.
- 35:43Testecleese: Okay.
- 35:43Claire Rose Hill: just chemically bound. I had to double check it real quick.
- 35:47Claire Rose Hill: Minerals on the planet. No, sorry, the moon.
- 35:50Testecleese: Oh, okay, okay, it's, it's… Right. I understand. It's…
- 35:56Testecleese: You could break a chemical bond.
- 35:59Testecleese: Yes. And the water shows up. That might just happen with temperature or pressure.
- 36:03Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 36:06Testecleese: Okay, see? See?
- 36:08Testecleese: Things make sense!
- 36:10Testecleese: It's just a matter of figuring out how the fuck they make sense, right?
- 36:16Testecleese: I remember now, I wanted to talk to you when this whole Iran thing kicked off.
- 36:20Claire Rose Hill: Oh, dear.
- 36:21Testecleese: hear your opinions.
- 36:22Testecleese: You know, do you know we deployed A-10s?
- 36:26Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 36:27Testecleese: What the fuck!
- 36:29Claire Rose Hill: Oh, no, we deployed them in, like, a very unique situation. This isn't us killing tanks, this is us killing speedboats with A-10s.
- 36:38Testecleese: I know A-10 Warthogs! I'm like, dude, people don't understand how ridiculous this aircraft is. What, it's… is it 6 or 8 barrels? Gatling… Gatling cannon?
- 36:51Claire Rose Hill: 8.
- 36:52Testecleese: 8, okay, 8 rotating barrels, and they actually reduced how many rounds it could fire in a minute, because it got the 8 barrels too hot too quickly.
- 37:03Testecleese: Yeah. And it can fire rockets and missiles!
- 37:06Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 37:09Testecleese: It's a terrifying weapon, and it's what?
- 37:12Testecleese: 80 years old?
- 37:15Claire Rose Hill: No.
- 37:18Claire Rose Hill: That thing was… I believe it was produced in,
- 37:24Claire Rose Hill: The DNA for it came out of two planes from the Vietnam War, So…
- 37:30Testecleese: Oh, okay, so maybe, at most, 50.
- 37:33Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I think it was… I think it was coming out, like, late 80s, early 90s, so…
- 37:40Testecleese: No, it's older than that. No, it definitely came out…
- 37:45Testecleese: I, I swear we were using this before then.
- 37:48Testecleese: I swear we're using it in Vietnam.
- 37:50Claire Rose Hill: No, it was not Vietnam. We were using.
- 37:52Testecleese: Alright.
- 37:54Claire Rose Hill: 1972 is the original flight of the A-10, so you're right about that one. But, yeah.
- 38:01Testecleese: Time frame, but that wasn't in use yet.
- 38:04Claire Rose Hill: No, it wasn't in use yet.
- 38:07Claire Rose Hill: The, the Super Tweet, I forget the actual name of it, was…
- 38:12Claire Rose Hill: the, that and, the Navy's, prop-driven plane at the time, I forget the name of it, too.
- 38:21Claire Rose Hill: But.
- 38:22Testecleese: Speaking of Navy, we'll definitely get to military, but speaking of Navy, you hear the .22 got its first air-to-air kill?
- 38:29Testecleese: No, I'm sorry, F35.
- 38:31Claire Rose Hill: Yes, the F-35 got its first air-to-air kill. Oh, my! Before the F-22 did.
- 38:38Testecleese: Well, the Navy's more likely to be there, let's be real, right?
- 38:42Claire Rose Hill: Oh, yeah.
- 38:45Claire Rose Hill: And it wasn't even a Navy one, it was an Israeli one, if memory serves.
- 38:49Testecleese: Yeah, well…
- 38:51Testecleese: I'm not sure about that, one way or the other. But anyway, we're looking to build this $20 billion base on the moon.
- 38:57Testecleese: for, like, research and et cetera, et cetera. But they're also hoping to, build a launch site from there to go to Mars next.
- 39:05Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, makes sense.
- 39:07Testecleese: - well, it's gonna be a lot easier to take a…
- 39:10Testecleese: Take a rocket off with less gravity, right?
- 39:13Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I mean, weight is a huge factor in these things. I mean, weight determines, like,
- 39:18Testecleese: Thrust.
- 39:19Claire Rose Hill: Thrust-to-weight ratio, and how much fuel you're gonna burn at that point in time, so…
- 39:25Testecleese: Yeah, and you know, if you want to bring up oxygen to burn it, the oxygen, these things make their own oxygen when they burn, just like magnesium can burn under water.
- 39:35Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 39:35Testecleese: So it's not even like it's gonna… just like they keep burning these rockets in space after they leave the Earth's atmosphere, right?
- 39:44Testecleese: I was excited, but… have you guys heard about all these fireballs falling all around the United States recently?
- 39:51Brian McFadden: No.
- 39:51El Guapo: Yeah, they hit, like, somebody's house a couple days ago, though.
- 39:55Testecleese: I… I think, Brian, last week we talked about the 22… 26,000 pound stone.
- 40:02Testecleese: Yeah, yeah. Landed in Ohio.
- 40:05El Guapo: Yeah, that's right.
- 40:06Testecleese: They've been hitting Houston, and…
- 40:11Testecleese: People will come up with crazy theories about him.
- 40:14Claire Rose Hill: Sky is falling.
- 40:15Testecleese: Well, that's one of them, is that it's a sign of the end of the world.
- 40:20Testecleese: I'm like, okay, well, none of you are a proper Christian, and I'm not gonna play the no-true Scotsman fallacy, but…
- 40:26Testecleese: No man shall know the end of times.
- 40:29Testecleese: Right?
- 40:30Brian McFadden: Right.
- 40:32Testecleese: But, and then you got people saying it's aliens, and other people saying it's, no, it's not aliens, it's military tech.
- 40:38Testecleese: I'm like, no, no, no. We're doing way better hiding military tech.
- 40:43Testecleese: This is a giant fucking rock that broke into pieces.
- 40:48Testecleese: 20 million miles away from our planet.
- 40:52Testecleese: And pieces of it are slowly raining down upon us.
- 40:57Testecleese: Owen Stroyer did a video about it.
- 40:59El Guapo: You know, there's always a shitty start, all this world on the ocean.
- 41:03El Guapo: I'm just…
- 41:03Testecleese: You gotta turn your gain up some there, Guapo.
- 41:06El Guapo: That's what it is, nothing you can do about it.
- 41:08Brian McFadden: I hear you quiet. Turn it up some.
- 41:10Testecleese: Either turn up your gain, or get closer.
- 41:13El Guapo: Right too close to the big mic.
- 41:15Brian McFadden: There you go, that's better, that's better.
- 41:17Testecleese: Well, does it have a gain control?
- 41:20El Guapo: No, it's just a push button over here.
- 41:23Testecleese: Oh, alright.
- 41:24El Guapo: Yep.
- 41:26Brian McFadden: Yes, I invested in the show last week, and bought somebody a new microphone.
- 41:32Brian McFadden: And, it sounds a hell of a lot better than previous episodes.
- 41:40Testecleese: Oh, that's a damn Skippy.
- 41:42Testecleese: But anyway, yeah, I'll just…
- 41:44Testecleese: I think it's way more likely that this stuff falling out of the sky is… a giant space rock broke up, like.
- 41:52Brian McFadden: Or it could be satellites have been up there for decades.
- 41:55Testecleese: Yeah, but they wouldn't happen all at the same time.
- 41:58Brian McFadden: Okay. I don't know.
- 41:59Testecleese: So I'm thinking it's something, like, came through the, sun's corona.
- 42:03Testecleese: And split apart with that energy.
- 42:06Brian McFadden: I mean, I don't know where this topic's coming from, so…
- 42:09Testecleese: NASA.
- 42:10Brian McFadden: Oh, heh.
- 42:12Testecleese: It was an off-topic, but I've been hearing a lot about this, and I just watched an Owen Schroyer video of him recording this thing happen, and I was like, no, I was like.
- 42:22Testecleese: I understand the logic behind all your arguments.
- 42:26Testecleese: Was it Occam's Razor, is it?
- 42:28Testecleese: The fewest presumptions is usually…
- 42:31Claire Rose Hill: The simplest explanation tends to be the correct one.
- 42:33Testecleese: Yeah, and this is probably just a giant hunk of rock that got blown up through the sun's corona, and we didn't see it coming because it wasn't big enough to see.
- 42:43Testecleese: And we're getting… and, you know, you say, oh, what, 26,000 pounds isn't big enough to see? No, not when it's compared to the fucking sun, you know?
- 42:54Claire Rose Hill: Not only that is, like, we… we track debris in… that comes close to Earth, and we only have enough budget to, like, measure
- 43:03Claire Rose Hill: Back when I was a kid, it was, like, 1-2% of the sky, and…
- 43:07Claire Rose Hill: They still don't have enough budget to this day, so…
- 43:11Testecleese: What are we gonna do anyway? Oh, here it comes! We're gonna alert everyone so they can panic! Armageddon!
- 43:17Brian McFadden: Armageddon, we're gonna, like, send up astronauts to blow the shit up before it hits us.
- 43:22Claire Rose Hill: I mean, isn't Bruce Lewis dead? I mean, good fucking luck with that one.
- 43:26Testecleese: And… and… oh my god.
- 43:29Testecleese: Exactly what's happening now is what would happen in… if you did an Armageddon thing and blew it up. It would rain… all of… a whole bunch of pieces would rain down across the entire fucking planet.
- 43:39Testecleese: Instead of one giant impact.
- 43:42Testecleese: Now, granted, if it's world-ending impact, maybe, but, like, even the Gulf of Mexico didn't wipe life off the planet.
- 43:50Claire Rose Hill: And I would still rather be shot with birdshot than fuckin' a slug.
- 43:54Testecleese: When you say Gulf of Mexico, I apologize.
- 43:57Brian McFadden: You're screwing it all up!
- 44:01Brian McFadden: Off of America, motherfucker!
- 44:06Testecleese: Oh, Jen already left, didn't she?
- 44:09El Guapo: She's about to run.
- 44:11Brian McFadden: She's running for the hills! She's running for the hills!
- 44:16El Guapo: Not yet.
- 44:17Testecleese: Oh, baby.
- 44:18Brian McFadden: Okay. We haven't scared her off quite yet. Alright, good, good, good.
- 44:23Testecleese: That's right, we're still talking about… we haven't even gotten into the topics yet.
- 44:27Brian McFadden: We're about to…
- 44:28Testecleese: Local. Okay, check this out.
- 44:32Testecleese: I thought it was Mercury Boulevard when I told the wife, but what a 14-year-old got.
- 44:37Brian McFadden: Good luck!
- 44:37Testecleese: when I see.
- 44:38Brian McFadden: R.
- 44:38Testecleese: Yeah, I got picked up on 64 for wrecking her car while drunk.
- 44:43Brian McFadden: Look at the warrior.
- 44:43Testecleese: Girl did the car, right?
- 44:45Brian McFadden: He goes…
- 44:46El Guapo: It was her one-year-old.
- 44:48Testecleese: YES!
- 44:49Brian McFadden: Who just died?
- 44:53Brian McFadden: And the 1-year-old was not properly restrained. So let's do the math on this. It's a 1-year-old, about to turn 2.
- 45:02Brian McFadden: She had it… she had this baby when she was 12 years old.
- 45:06El Guapo: Goddamn.
- 45:08El Guapo: And she was like.
- 45:08Testecleese: Now, yeah, there's the question.
- 45:10El Guapo: Drink it?
- 45:10Testecleese: Was this… Okay, here's the one.
- 45:13Brian McFadden: Who gives her the ability to drive a car at 14 on the highway?
- 45:19El Guapo: Alcohol.
- 45:21Brian McFadden: Does the mayor both Harry!
- 45:22El Guapo: Well, she lives with.
- 45:25Claire Rose Hill: I would be investigating every stepdaddy and every uncle in the fucking area.
- 45:29Brian McFadden: Well, that's.
- 45:30Testecleese: Question, is this… is this, like, a ghetto area that this person grew up in, or… no, no.
- 45:35Brian McFadden: That's first…
- 45:36Testecleese: grew up in, or… Was this household abuse that impregnated this child.
- 45:42Testecleese: Because it's possible, like, in a dirty, trashy area, that she got knocked up in school in the frickin' bathroom by some other kid.
- 45:51El Guapo: Yeah, proud of them, but… Turn.
- 45:53Testecleese: Versus stepdaddy or mommy's boyfriend.
- 45:58El Guapo: Not necessarily. My oldest kid went to high school in… we'll say, the inner-city high school in Norfolk?
- 46:05Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 46:06El Guapo: And freshman year, somebody in her class had a picture of a baby, and she's like, oh, is that your little sister? And the girl turned and was like, no, that's my baby. I waited until I was 15 to have my baby.
- 46:18Brian McFadden: Wow.
- 46:19El Guapo: She was proud that she waited till she was 15 to have a baby.
- 46:22Testecleese: That's what I'm saying, though. This might have been they went and got knocked up in the frickin' high school bathroom by a fellow student, because they did it on purpose, versus abuse.
- 46:31El Guapo: What? Yes.
- 46:32Claire Rose Hill: Fuck.
- 46:33El Guapo: It definitely could've… well, maybe not on purpose, but…
- 46:38El Guapo: Things happen when you do other things.
- 46:40Testecleese: I waited till I was 15, makes it sound like, at least you were doing something to stop it until then.
- 46:47El Guapo: I didn't ask follow-up questions.
- 46:50Testecleese: Of course not!
- 46:51Brian McFadden: No, you don't know.
- 46:52Testecleese: Rage.
- 46:56Claire Rose Hill: What!
- 46:57El Guapo: You don't be called the witness to testify.
- 47:02Claire Rose Hill: I am entirely too sober for this!
- 47:04Brian McFadden: You're rich words!
- 47:06El Guapo: Dude!
- 47:06Brian McFadden: You might want to grab a beer.
- 47:08Testecleese: My worries, stop taking shots.
- 47:11El Guapo: Right? Because that's actual news, it happened!
- 47:14El Guapo: I know.
- 47:14Testecleese: Well, this is all we do is news. We're actually opening news articles, and then talking about the news article.
- 47:21Brian McFadden: I like the fact that we got new people on the show, and we're, like, looking at different opinions on it, you know, so that's great.
- 47:28Testecleese: Yeah, I gotta, drain the lizard and grab a fresh one.
- 47:32Brian McFadden: Alright, good.
- 47:33Testecleese: Are you serious on?
- 47:33Brian McFadden: topic is…
- 47:35Testecleese: Yeah, congressional something.
- 47:37Claire Rose Hill: Oh, no.
- 47:38Brian McFadden: Congressman McGuire introducing a bill allowing lawsuits against gun-free zones.
- 47:46El Guapo: Sure. Why not?
- 47:48Claire Rose Hill: Fuckin'… good.
- 47:50Claire Rose Hill: If I get shot in a gun-free zone, I want to be able to sue somebody.
- 47:54Brian McFadden: Oh, yeah.
- 47:54El Guapo: They should have protected me.
- 47:57El Guapo: Make sure you don't bring Jill's Biden Secret Service around me, nope.
- 48:01Brian McFadden: We already talked about that earlier. I know, but I just say…
- 48:07Brian McFadden: He shot himself, he didn't shoot anybody else.
- 48:10El Guapo: Is that acceptable in a gun-free zone?
- 48:13Brian McFadden: No! Nothing! Nobody getting shot in a gun-free zone is acceptable, I love it.
- 48:18El Guapo: And…
- 48:19Claire Rose Hill: I don't find gun-free zones acceptable.
- 48:25El Guapo: Different states are out here, too.
- 48:29Testecleese: Well, I… I kinda like the… oh, I forgot to get a beer. I kinda like the egg.
- 48:33Brian McFadden: Get your beer!
- 48:34Testecleese: Well, I like the idea of being able to sue the state if you get shot in a gun-free zone, because you weren't allowed to have a gun.
- 48:39Brian McFadden: That's exactly what Claire just said.
- 48:41Testecleese: Okay, okay, I'm sorry I missed that.
- 48:45Testecleese: Perfect sense to me!
- 48:46Brian McFadden: That is literally just what she said!
- 48:49Testecleese: I think alike, okay?
- 48:51Brian McFadden: I just personally have.
- 48:53Testecleese: to like my penis and testicles.
- 48:55Brian McFadden: Yeah, and legs.
- 48:58Testecleese: Oh, come on, you know I had to do one.
- 49:00Claire Rose Hill: One of them.
- 49:00Testecleese: Claire, right?
- 49:01Claire Rose Hill: Just one, just one.
- 49:06El Guapo: But here's my question, is law enforcement allowed to have guns in this gun-free zone? Yes.
- 49:12El Guapo: It's just you, not as an individual. So, if they're gonna…
- 49:17El Guapo: I'm gonna have forgot free Sundays to protect you, you know.
- 49:21Testecleese: Yes, there should be police there at all times, or even National Guard if you're gonna say no guns allowed.
- 49:27Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, because I trust the cop that trains on their gun twice a year when I go to the range weekly.
- 49:32Testecleese: Well, it depends, honestly, on where you live, too, right?
- 49:36El Guapo: Yeah. Depends on the budget. It does.
- 49:39Testecleese: For example, where I live.
- 49:41Testecleese: I don't know how much you've seen of where I live, Claire, but I am in the middle of.
- 49:46Brian McFadden: Nowhere! I've been there, done that.
- 49:49Testecleese: Yep. No.
- 49:50Brian McFadden: I almost ran out of gas, I'm on my way out of town.
- 49:53Testecleese: I believe it!
- 49:56Brian McFadden: I was getting alerts from my brother, you got 4 miles left in the tank.
- 50:01Testecleese: But I am in the most remote part of the most remote county in the most remote state.
- 50:10El Guapo: There's…
- 50:12Testecleese: No, no, I am on a mountaintop in West Virginia.
- 50:16Brian McFadden: It's really beautiful.
- 50:17Testecleese: Oh, it's gorgeous, and by the way.
- 50:20Testecleese: The cameras they put on the bald eagles every year?
- 50:24Testecleese: One of the, birds hatched today.
- 50:27El Guapo: Oh, nice.
- 50:28Claire Rose Hill: Nice.
- 50:28Testecleese: Oh, and I… yeah, and it was crazy, because I had checked, you know, oh, alright. And then I checked back, like, 2 hours later, and one of the babies was tweaking, and I was like, holy shit, dude, no?
- 50:40Testecleese: It was really cool watching a bald eagle take care of its freshly hatched hatchling.
- 50:45El Guapo: Nice.
- 50:47Testecleese: But, speaking of West Virginia,
- 50:52Testecleese: We have put a halt, or rather, at least a pause, on,
- 50:59Testecleese: detaining illegal immigrants and the PRISM systems in West Virginia.
- 51:04Brian McFadden: Why?
- 51:05Testecleese: Federal judge said so.
- 51:08El Guapo: So where do you put them?
- 51:10Testecleese: Actually, we're turning them loose.
- 51:13Brian McFadden: Heard them low!
- 51:14El Guapo: Catch and release, got it!
- 51:16Claire Rose Hill: No!
- 51:17Testecleese: We… nope, West Virginia was holding them for the federal government.
- 51:21Testecleese: Not just locals. They're like, you guys have room, and we technically didn't.
- 51:27El Guapo: Mmm. But they…
- 51:28Testecleese: They kept him there, and a judge was like, no, you can't do this. You can't use a prison to hold these people until they're deported.
- 51:36Testecleese: Which, the problem is, it's gonna get overturned in court, like, happens every time, but by then, these people have already been released and scattered to the fucking four corners.
- 51:45El Guapo: Yeah.
- 51:46Claire Rose Hill: No, here's the thing, is what does a jail hold?
- 51:50El Guapo: Criminals.
- 51:51Testecleese: Bad guys.
- 51:52Claire Rose Hill: And what… what would you call somebody that…
- 51:55Claire Rose Hill: Jumps over the border… no, comes over the border illegally?
- 51:58El Guapo: A criminal.
- 52:00Claire Rose Hill: Thank you!
- 52:02Testecleese: Yes, but I do like the idea of getting the rapists and murderers first, and believe it or not, that is most of them that we're actually collecting.
- 52:09Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 52:10Testecleese: And I only found this out because so many people were losing their shit over ICE doing this.
- 52:16Testecleese: that I started being like, yes, this person is a child pet, pornographer.
- 52:22Testecleese: And you're like, oh, you feel good about yourself? He's like, yes, I'm putting a child pornographer away.
- 52:27Testecleese: And it's like, at least find out who you're defending before you get up and start calling people Nazis, you know?
- 52:34El Guapo: It's all about emotions and stuff.
- 52:36Testecleese: I mean, let's be real, if it wasn't for illegal immigration, Guapa wouldn't be here on this show with us.
- 52:42Testecleese: And that's not even a joke! That's not even a joke, Claire!
- 52:49Testecleese: Guapo, did you come here legally yourself?
- 52:51El Guapo: Me, yes. Legal, yes.
- 52:54Testecleese: I thought your parents came across the border illegally and broke.
- 52:57El Guapo: Yeah, they did. They did.
- 53:00Testecleese: Bye!
- 53:01El Guapo: No, it'll be bygones.
- 53:02Testecleese: You did… yeah, I know, but you didn't even apply for the SAVE Act.
- 53:05El Guapo: I'm not saying that.
- 53:06Testecleese: Dodge.
- 53:07El Guapo: virtually.
- 53:07Testecleese: act.
- 53:08El Guapo: Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, I bought out, yeah.
- 53:10Testecleese: he also… signed up and spent time in the service, I am okay with…
- 53:15Testecleese: If you sign up and do the military, I'm okay with citizenship, honestly.
- 53:20El Guapo: I was already a citizenship by the time I joined, so…
- 53:24Testecleese: That was just because you'd been here so long, they gave it to you!
- 53:28El Guapo: No, no.
- 53:28Brian McFadden: Join the Navy.
- 53:30Brian McFadden: Automatic business.
- 53:31El Guapo: did before that.
- 53:32Testecleese: It's not necessarily automatic citizenship, it has to be a part of your deal.
- 53:37El Guapo: Oh…
- 53:39Brian McFadden: Where are we?
- 53:40Testecleese: We're talking about how the opioid drug overdoses in West Virginia is down by 48%.
- 53:46Brian McFadden: Oh, go here.
- 53:48Testecleese: Really cracking down on the drug abuse out here, because it's… again, there's so little…
- 53:54Testecleese: Anything that people get fucked up.
- 53:59Testecleese: You know, that or… play with guns, or build bombs, it's like, no matter…
- 54:06Testecleese: No matter what you do out here, the left is gonna hate it, but at least the drugs the right hates, too. You know?
- 54:15Testecleese: But yeah, they cracked down on that. Fentanyl was a real issue out here. It was killing way too many people, especially out in the sticks.
- 54:26Testecleese: Sorry.
- 54:26Testecleese: I'm glad that's,
- 54:29Testecleese: It keeps going down. This is, I think, the third time I've reported on how much the, opioid deaths are down in West Virginia.
- 54:37Testecleese: But… Brian, you're gonna be moving to Michigan soon.
- 54:41Brian McFadden: A couple of days…
- 54:44Claire Rose Hill: Oh, hell yeah.
- 54:44Brian McFadden: The next show, the next show we do will not be VFW related.
- 54:50Brian McFadden: And it will not be time-constrained by the VFW as of yet, and it will be for Michigan with my Starlink internet.
- 55:01Testecleese: What sucks, though, is that I'm gonna be going through Virginia, and I'm gonna be in Florida near…
- 55:05Testecleese: Where the wife is from.
- 55:07Testecleese: while I'm going through Virginia, you're not gonna be there.
- 55:11Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 55:11Testecleese: And when I go to Florida, my brother-in-law is gonna be in Scotland.
- 55:17El Guapo: Sounds like people are avoiding you.
- 55:20Testecleese: Why do you… why do you think I move to the middle of nowhere? I avoid people. I'm the guy who makes the effort to go see people, okay?
- 55:29Testecleese: No one wants to come out here, ever!
- 55:33Brian McFadden: I did.
- 55:35Testecleese: No, and Claire, I hope you keep that idea. Yes, they're all racist, frickin' inbred hillbillies full of hate. You don't want to have anything to do with this area.
- 55:45Claire Rose Hill: I did not say that. I did not say that.
- 55:47El Guapo: Yeah.
- 55:48Brian McFadden: Stay!
- 55:48Testecleese: Don't even bother visiting to look around.
- 55:51Brian McFadden: They're all just evil.
- 55:52Testecleese: people, okay?
- 55:54Claire Rose Hill: Dude, I just spent 3 years in Marjorie Taylor Greene's district. You wanna talk about crazy?
- 55:59El Guapo: She wasn't ape shit, dude.
- 56:02Claire Rose Hill: Oh, no, her whole dick's.
- 56:03Testecleese: I had so much fun following her.
- 56:06Testecleese: She was a good time, but…
- 56:07Brian McFadden: Now she's.
- 56:08Testecleese: I'm crazy.
- 56:09Brian McFadden: St. Clair would do well in West Virginia, so…
- 56:11Testecleese: No, well enough!
- 56:16Testecleese: I don't know how ready Claire is to… Do work. Work.
- 56:22Testecleese: And I know I'm sounding like an asshole, Claire, because…
- 56:25Testecleese: I've seen you do, what was it.
- 56:28Brian McFadden: She's… Surgical person.
- 56:30Testecleese: electric… not an EM, you were.
- 56:33Claire Rose Hill: M.
- 56:34Testecleese: Shit, I was gonna say GTM. Yeah.
- 56:39Testecleese: Oh, there we go, another sailor. Yeah, machinist mate.
- 56:42Brian McFadden: This show's all about the sailors.
- 56:47Testecleese: But… but I just got a feeling that you wouldn't want to put in…
- 56:51Testecleese: Depending on where you went in West Virginia, too. Charleston? No problem. May as well be in Boston.
- 56:58Testecleese: But where I am, I just…
- 57:00Testecleese: You don't seem like you'd be interested in gutting a deer and butchering it And making it…
- 57:06Brian McFadden: She's all about the guys.
- 57:08Testecleese: True, all about the guns doesn't mean you're actually gonna go shoot stuff and eat it.
- 57:13Claire Rose Hill: I used to smoke, no, smoked, steelhead and salmon during the salmon runs.
- 57:20Brian McFadden: Shootin' and eatin'.
- 57:21Testecleese: Damn, it's coastal fish. That's a delicious one.
- 57:24Claire Rose Hill: I come from Northern California.
- 57:26Testecleese: We got, rainbow trout here. We got rainbow trout.
- 57:29Claire Rose Hill: Nice.
- 57:30Claire Rose Hill: But yeah, I come from Northern California, my family grew up broke, we had lawn chair furniture and repurposed RV furniture in my living room until I was, like, 10.
- 57:41Testecleese: No, no, I'm not saying you couldn't handle it, but I got a feeling you don't want to drag a deer carcass 200 yards out of the woods to get it close enough to your ATV to get it out of the forest to get home.
- 57:52Claire Rose Hill: Don't care about that anymore, honestly.
- 57:56Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 57:56Testecleese: Hey, man, that's a couple hundred pounds of meat.
- 57:59Testecleese: For the cost of a bullet.
- 58:01Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, it… Independence.
- 58:04Testecleese: You gotta do the work yourself, right?
- 58:07Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 58:08Testecleese: Fuck.
- 58:09Testecleese: Oh, dude, I got a mini excavator!
- 58:13Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I saw.
- 58:14Testecleese: Like, yeah, the one you get from Walmart?
- 58:16Brian McFadden: Everybody's…
- 58:18Testecleese: Yes, crack your jokes, crack your jokes.
- 58:21El Guapo: I picked up… Tractor Supply?
- 58:25Brian McFadden: No.
- 58:25Testecleese: No, I looked at Tractor Supply, this one had a better deal, and more attachment.
- 58:31El Guapo: Hold on, you literally went to Walmart and got a tractor? Excavator?
- 58:34Testecleese: Well, I ordered it online through Walmart.
- 58:37Brian McFadden: May the Lord.
- 58:38Testecleese: house.
- 58:39El Guapo: Oh, yeah.
- 58:40Claire Rose Hill: What brand is it, Tonka?
- 58:42Testecleese: Hmm, fish.
- 58:42Brian McFadden: Right.
- 58:44Testecleese: It'll pick up 2600 pounds.
- 58:46Claire Rose Hill: Nice.
- 58:47Brian McFadden: Has it picked that up yet? I've already done it.
- 58:49Testecleese: I've picked up… I've picked up… oh yeah, I've done a ton of work with it.
- 58:53Testecleese: 4600.
- 58:54Brian McFadden: rounds?
- 58:55Testecleese: I picked up a giant hunk of tree that my… I would have needed tools…
- 59:00Testecleese: To move, at least to attach to the bed of my pickup truck.
- 59:04Brian McFadden: Have you picked your driveway yet?
- 59:07Testecleese: Well, how am I gonna fix that? I need to actually pave that.
- 59:12Testecleese: A fucking giant shark. Oh, the stump? The stump's gone.
- 59:16Claire Rose Hill: Get some crusher run, and just pack it down.
- 59:19Testecleese: Well, no, it's been packed down, but then it, you know, winter came, and it melted, and the earth shifted again, and the driveway moved again.
- 59:26Testecleese: We had a giant maple tree fall that was under the driveway.
- 59:30El Guapo: Damn.
- 59:32Testecleese: Yeah, oh, giant fucking mess. Luckily, I could fit, like, 9 cars in my driveway.
- 59:37El Guapo: Nice.
- 59:37Brian McFadden: Not when I was there.
- 59:39Testecleese: You didn't see the back behind the… the… behind the house.
- 59:42Brian McFadden: Wow.
- 59:42Testecleese: The rest of it…
- 59:44Brian McFadden: I didn't know that was a driveway.
- 59:45Testecleese: Oh, there's, like, a parking lot that goes into the garage.
- 59:49Brian McFadden: I wasn't allowed to see that.
- 59:51Testecleese: Not allowed to.
- 59:54Testecleese: But anyway, yeah, we had a retaining wall next to this back door.
- 59:59Testecleese: Fail, last year.
- 1:00:02Testecleese: And I… we started pulling the bricks out, because they're big, giant cinder block bricks, and we… I was doing them by hand, I was like, I'm ripping my hands to shit, you know, it's a ton of work.
- 1:00:13Testecleese: And then we saw this thing for sale, and I was like, oh, this would make so much work, so much easier. Yeah, and you're not pulling a giant maple tree some part of the ground with it, but I can pull all the bricks out, I can dig a hole.
- 1:00:25Testecleese: You know, it'll punch through the shale rock of the mountain, so I can dig.
- 1:00:31Testecleese: It… I spent a little, a little under $5,000 for it, brand new.
- 1:00:37Testecleese: I think it was totally worth the investment.
- 1:00:40Testecleese: I've probably already made that much money worth of, back, versus paying someone else for my hours of doing work in the yard.
- 1:00:47Brian McFadden: So, Michigan has just named a new, state symbol, the Wood Duck.
- 1:00:54Testecleese: Yeah, what the fuck is it? It's on the flag, I guess?
- 1:00:56Brian McFadden: Yeah, they're adding it to the flag.
- 1:00:59Testecleese: Wha-huh.
- 1:01:00Brian McFadden: It was close to extinction, and it's come back from Extinction.
- 1:01:05El Guapo: That's wild.
- 1:01:05Brian McFadden: What are they additive?
- 1:01:07Testecleese: So they won't change the state bird from the, red-breasted robin.
- 1:01:11Brian McFadden: No, they're adding the wood duck to the… to the whole thing.
- 1:01:15Testecleese: Why don't they just change their state bird instead of having a…
- 1:01:18Brian McFadden: Everybody wants a robin as their, say, bird.
- 1:01:21Testecleese: Why? Because it lives everywhere?
- 1:01:23Brian McFadden: Yeah, pretty much.
- 1:01:25Testecleese: What about on crows and pigeons.
- 1:01:27Brian McFadden: And seagulls.
- 1:01:29Testecleese: Oh, seagulls live everywhere on the planet, dude.
- 1:01:33Claire Rose Hill: And crows are smarter than, robins, at least.
- 1:01:37Testecleese: Very true, and they hold grudges.
- 1:01:40Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:01:42Testecleese: It's… actually, it's crazy.
- 1:01:45Testecleese: The other day, I saw a raven. Like, an actual real raven.
- 1:01:49Testecleese: And at first, I thought it was a crow, but I saw the shadow come over, so I looked up, thinking it was, like, a hawk or an eagle.
- 1:01:56Testecleese: And I was like, no… no, that's just a big crow. But then it came down and, like, circled around my driveway like it was gonna pick something up. Like, 3 times, and I just watched it, and I was like, holy shit. And the iridescent feathers did the purple, the green, the yellow, the purple.
- 1:02:14Testecleese: And I was like, oh, wow, that's just… something you don't get to see every day, you know?
- 1:02:20Testecleese: I don't know, however… when was the last time you saw a raven in the wild?
- 1:02:26Claire Rose Hill: Gotta spend a minute.
- 1:02:27Testecleese: Yeah, right? Like, I was a… I've only ever seen one bald eagle in the wild in my life, and it was in this state.
- 1:02:35Testecleese: And it was cool, because it was actually perched in a tree, and I took a picture.
- 1:02:41Testecleese: By the way, I've heard how big they are.
- 1:02:44Testecleese: You don't understand it until you see it.
- 1:02:49Testecleese: The bald eagle's wingspan is wider than I am tall.
- 1:02:53El Guapo: Damn.
- 1:02:55Testecleese: Yeah, it's like 6 feet.
- 1:02:58Testecleese: Big Huge bird!
- 1:03:00El Guapo: I sit here in the bass, like, the bar, frickin'…
- 1:03:03El Guapo: All the birds and stuff, like, oh, okay, cool.
- 1:03:06Testecleese: They haul away cats and small dogs, dude.
- 1:03:13Testecleese: I'm waiting for my cats to not come home, because some freaking, raptor picked it up, you know what I mean?
- 1:03:19Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 1:03:20Testecleese: It could even be an owl!
- 1:03:24Testecleese: Friggin' owls… owls attack, at least you hear a bald eagle coming.
- 1:03:29Testecleese: Owls of silence.
- 1:03:32Testecleese: All of a sudden, your chicken's gone!
- 1:03:34Brian McFadden: up.
- 1:03:36Testecleese: Alright.
- 1:03:38Testecleese: What about this?
- 1:03:39Testecleese: Handy!
- 1:03:40Brian McFadden: Boys!
- 1:03:41Testecleese: anyways.
- 1:03:42Brian McFadden: Yeah, there's a new ordinance in Michigan that's not allowing people to sell candy outside of stores.
- 1:03:48Brian McFadden: I guess that means Girl Scout cookies, too.
- 1:03:51Testecleese: I was just gonna say that we've been following the New Jersey Girl Scout cookie issue in front of the dispensaries.
- 1:03:57Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 1:03:59Testecleese: cookies, and…
- 1:04:01Claire Rose Hill: It's good faith.
- 1:04:02Testecleese: again.
- 1:04:05Brian McFadden: Get your munchie on and get me some cookies!
- 1:04:08Testecleese: That girl's gonna be a boss bitch right there, right?
- 1:04:15Claire Rose Hill: I came out of, I came out of the store the other day, no joke, I had a 6-pack of that high, that high water that's… it's like, THC-infused seltzer water.
- 1:04:26Testecleese: Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. I used to be security in a dispensary.
- 1:04:30Claire Rose Hill: And literally, I bought, like, 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.
- 1:04:35Brian McFadden: There you go, yup.
- 1:04:36Testecleese: Yeah, it's like, I'm gonna want these later.
- 1:04:40Brian McFadden: The big fatigue.
- 1:04:41Testecleese: It's like a baked potato. It's like, I don't want a baked potato now, but it takes, like, an hour and a half to cook, so by the time it's done, I'm probably gonna want a baked potato, you know?
- 1:04:52Brian McFadden: With all the fixin's.
- 1:04:54Testecleese: I couldn't like that one!
- 1:04:58Testecleese: Well, not just that you smell it cooking, you're like, baked potato sounds good. And then, bing, holy shit, baked potato, yeah!
- 1:05:06Testecleese: And I don't know what you guys put in yours, but I like, vegetables, butter, and bacon.
- 1:05:13Brian McFadden: That's always good.
- 1:05:15Testecleese: Yeah, bell peppers, onions… Maybe some broccoli if I'm feeling, particularly sassy.
- 1:05:24Brian McFadden: So there's a new Michigan bill that they're trying to put into law that's gonna require everybody over the age of 75 to re…
- 1:05:33Brian McFadden: to do, driver's tests on a regular basis.
- 1:05:37Testecleese: That's gonna get shut down.
- 1:05:40Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, because people in Congress gotta drive to get to there to vote, right?
- 1:05:44El Guapo: n.
- 1:05:45Testecleese: Not even that.
- 1:05:46El Guapo: from Michigan.
- 1:05:47Testecleese: Yes, but I'm just saying, even that, the elderly vote the most.
- 1:05:52Brian McFadden: Yeah, they do.
- 1:05:53Testecleese: And they're gonna call it age discrimination.
- 1:05:55Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 1:05:56Testecleese: Even though they're okay with minimum age requirements to buy certain things.
- 1:06:02El Guapo: We'll see how I…
- 1:06:05Testecleese: This is why… we've brought… we've talked about this before, Brian.
- 1:06:09Brian McFadden: Right.
- 1:06:09Testecleese: People brought this up, this exact topic up, it's like, at a certain age, your vision starts to fail, we never know when it's gonna happen.
- 1:06:16Brian McFadden: My vision's failing now, and I'm almost 60, so, you know…
- 1:06:22Testecleese: 60 what?
- 1:06:24Brian McFadden: I'm about to be 60 in Janu- July.
- 1:06:27El Guapo: Are they already?
- 1:06:29Brian McFadden: Yeah, fuck you, asshole!
- 1:06:30El Guapo: No, fuck, last time I remember, we celebrated U50, like, I thought.
- 1:06:34Brian McFadden: Wow, that was long… that was 10 years.
- 1:06:36El Guapo: Two weeks ago.
- 1:06:37Testecleese: I thought you were gonna say 60,000.
- 1:06:39Brian McFadden: Fuck all you! Hey, I'm…
- 1:06:42Claire Rose Hill: I'm being the nice one today.
- 1:06:44Brian McFadden: You are, here you are! I appreciate it.
- 1:06:47Testecleese: What was it cool to watch dirt be maged?
- 1:06:52Brian McFadden: Moses allowed it.
- 1:06:57El Guapo: Fucking burn.
- 1:06:58Testecleese: So, I think…
- 1:06:58El Guapo: of the Constitution.
- 1:07:00Testecleese: Jen, you still here?
- 1:07:01El Guapo: I'm here.
- 1:07:03Testecleese: Alright, I think you'll get a good laugh out of this. I grew up in Massachusetts for 22 years, right?
- 1:07:08Testecleese: Joined the service, did that whole thing, spent about 15 years in Virginia.
- 1:07:13Testecleese: Went back to Mass after my mother died.
- 1:07:16Testecleese: Spent 5 years there and got the fuck out, because I was like, this place is getting… it's getting dangerous, right?
- 1:07:22El Guapo: It is, I'm from Rhode Island. Hello!
- 1:07:24Testecleese: That's true.
- 1:07:24Brian McFadden: Oh, yeah, there we go.
- 1:07:27Brian McFadden: ends.
- 1:07:28Testecleese: Okay, well, check this out. Boston?
- 1:07:31Testecleese: eliminated the failing grade in high school. In elementary school, like, youth school, whatever, required school.
- 1:07:38El Guapo: They can pass everybody.
- 1:07:40Testecleese: Yeah, well, the mayor came out and bragged about the graduation rate, because it's up from 80% to 83%, and the first thing I said was, 17% still don't graduate?
- 1:07:54Testecleese: And then… I feel terrible. I'm gonna speak quieter so my wife doesn't hear me. She said it should be 27%, right? And I was like, oh my god, no! 80 is 20!
- 1:08:07El Guapo: It's that math, writing, reading, some people have issues.
- 1:08:12Testecleese: Well, everyone's got their own little areas they're good at. Some people need a pencil and paper, I understand that.
- 1:08:18Testecleese: But… I'm beta-
- 1:08:21Testecleese: I was in engineering, Claire was engineering, who… it was like, oh, I know that mistake, I've seen it so many times.
- 1:08:28Testecleese: Just like when you see the equation they put on Facebook, or Twitter, or whatever the fuck you call it these days.
- 1:08:35Testecleese: And it's like, what's the answer to this equation? And everyone's offended by the right answer, or even worse, the right answer is not even a choice.
- 1:08:43El Guapo: Oh, I hate when that happens.
- 1:08:45Testecleese: Because they don't understand PEDMAS, or PEMDASH, or whatever which one you did.
- 1:08:49El Guapo: Let me just give my, dear and Sally.
- 1:08:52Testecleese: Yes, I personally prefer, P-E-D-M-A-S, but…
- 1:08:58Testecleese: You can switch multiplication and division
- 1:09:02Testecleese: With each other in that equa- in that formula, or order of operations, and you can switch addition… switch addition and subtraction.
- 1:09:09El Guapo: Mmm.
- 1:09:11Testecleese: Not everyone's aware of that.
- 1:09:13Testecleese: But parentheses, exponents, all of that, you know?
- 1:09:18Brian McFadden: In other great news in Massachusetts, there was a cop that was crying. He's just been charged with raping
- 1:09:27Brian McFadden: A teenage boy with her husband.
- 1:09:30Testecleese: their husband!
- 1:09:33Brian McFadden: I was trying to get to the… the joke of the punchline, you didn't give me a chance.
- 1:09:38Testecleese: Well, it's in Plymouth, too.
- 1:09:41El Guapo: Oh, really?
- 1:09:43Testecleese: Yes, Plymouth Cup, and she's a very attractive young woman, too.
- 1:09:47El Guapo: Wow.
- 1:09:48El Guapo: So… so what happened? The cop and the guy were… the wife wanted to get banned by this teenagering cop?
- 1:09:57El Guapo: The husband?
- 1:09:59Testecleese: There's not a lot of details, because, one, that's, child pornography.
- 1:10:03El Guapo: It's all about the details.
- 1:10:05Testecleese: Pixar didn't happen.
- 1:10:06El Guapo: Yeah, nope.
- 1:10:07El Guapo: I'm out because he's a minor.
- 1:10:10Testecleese: Yeah, exactly, exactly. But this kid has been in their care for years, and…
- 1:10:15El Guapo: Oh, oh, oh, that's even fucked up.
- 1:10:18Claire Rose Hill: Somebody's been spending way too much time on Pornhub, that's all I'm.
- 1:10:21Brian McFadden: I'm gonna say.
- 1:10:22El Guapo: Yeah. No, I thought it was gonna be, like, a friend or a friend, but no, this is, like, this is, like, the racist kid.
- 1:10:33Testecleese: You know what?
- 1:10:33Brian McFadden: Kids on Foreign Hub.
- 1:10:35El Guapo: No, no, no, no, no, the parents. Graze. The grays.
- 1:10:38Testecleese: For years, they've been raising… they took this, like, homeless get-in, or not even homeless, they didn't give the details, but, like, a Plymouth…
- 1:10:48Testecleese: police officer, Plymouth, Massachusetts, like… Pilgrim's Plymouth!
- 1:10:53El Guapo: Yeah, no, that's a nice part of Mass.
- 1:10:56Testecleese: Yeah, I grew up, halfway between there and Boston. My sister's in Plymouth.
- 1:11:01El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:11:03El Guapo: Hey, at least this 14-year-old doesn't have a 1-year-old baby.
- 1:11:07Brian McFadden: No.
- 1:11:07Testecleese: And didn't get into a car accident while drunk.
- 1:11:12Brian McFadden: Without having her baby strapped into an actual car seat.
- 1:11:15Testecleese: But, anyway, the, the woman, the cop, is the woman.
- 1:11:20Testecleese: She only got, like, a $10,000 bond.
- 1:11:24Testecleese: The husband got a $25,000 bond, but…
- 1:11:28Testecleese: And the judge said, because they have ties to the community.
- 1:11:31El Guapo: The fuck is that?
- 1:11:32Testecleese: et cetera, et cetera, first offense, all that kind of stuff that you would honestly expect in a case like this, right? Yep.
- 1:11:39Testecleese: Prosecution was asking for $125,000, I believe.
- 1:11:44Claire Rose Hill: That seems fair.
- 1:11:47Testecleese: Yeah, and you know what, honestly, Plymouth, Massachusetts put your house up as your bond.
- 1:11:52El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:11:54Testecleese: Yeah, you have any idea what a house in Plymouth, Massachusetts costs?
- 1:11:58El Guapo: A lot. A lot.
- 1:12:00El Guapo: They're very nice, though.
- 1:12:02Testecleese: People still build Plymouth-style houses across this country, don't they?
- 1:12:06El Guapo: Yo.
- 1:12:08Testecleese: Just like Victorians.
- 1:12:10Testecleese: But, like I said, I grew… I was halfway between Plymouth and Boston.
- 1:12:14Testecleese: Bought the place when I moved back up that helped my father out.
- 1:12:18El Guapo: Bye.
- 1:12:19Testecleese: That was part of helping him, was…
- 1:12:21Testecleese: Here's a giant wad of money, kind of thing.
- 1:12:25El Guapo: Well, I…
- 1:12:26Testecleese: I sold the place for $640,000.
- 1:12:31Testecleese: And that wasn't Plymouth.
- 1:12:33Testecleese: You know, it wasn't even on the coast.
- 1:12:35El Guapo: Okay, where was it?
- 1:12:37Testecleese: Pembrook.
- 1:12:38El Guapo: Okay.
- 1:12:39Testecleese: Brittany Scituate. In Marshfield.
- 1:12:41El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:12:43Testecleese: -Oh.
- 1:12:43El Guapo: Or be like.
- 1:12:45Testecleese: The beers are kicking in, I said Marshfield.
- 1:12:52Brian McFadden: What's going on in Connecticut?
- 1:12:55Testecleese: Ow… what's this gas station heroin?
- 1:12:58El Guapo: I don't know.
- 1:12:59Testecleese: It's like… it's like some… it's like some MSRI?
- 1:13:03Testecleese: Or something that you can get at the gas station, but if you, like, eat, like, 10 bags of it, it's like a fucking…
- 1:13:09Testecleese: Heroin high?
- 1:13:11El Guapo: That is crazy.
- 1:13:15Testecleese: Well, it looks like Connecticut's one of many states to ban this.
- 1:13:20Testecleese: I never heard of it before, but apparently… let me see if I can't find exactly what it is.
- 1:13:25El Guapo: Well, if you left enough people use it and they die, wouldn't that be, process elimination? And you're like, okay…
- 1:13:32Claire Rose Hill: Very natural.
- 1:13:33El Guapo: election.
- 1:13:34Claire Rose Hill: Yes, yes, natural selection.
- 1:13:36El Guapo: Yeah, hopefully.
- 1:13:36Testecleese: 14 states have, a tricyclic antidepressant. 14 states have leveled it a, Schedule 1 controlled substance.
- 1:13:46El Guapo: Oh, shit, okay.
- 1:13:50El Guapo: But again, so before the banner.
- 1:13:53Testecleese: I mean, I understand natural selection, but you also have… people that…
- 1:13:59El Guapo: People that graduated from Massachusetts because they passed all their classes.
- 1:14:03Testecleese: Well, here's the thing, it was, I actually had to pass school.
- 1:14:08El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:14:09Testecleese: I went through school in Massachusetts, and my high school… my town's not even in my high school one anymore.
- 1:14:15El Guapo: I did my first 6 years of school in Massachusetts.
- 1:14:20Testecleese: Where?
- 1:14:21El Guapo: Blackstone.
- 1:14:23Testecleese: Blackstone, okay.
- 1:14:24El Guapo: Down on the border of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
- 1:14:26Testecleese: Yeah, I was gonna say, that's down by Groton and everything, right?
- 1:14:31Testecleese: Alright, yeah, I've, I've been, I've been…
- 1:14:33Testecleese: Brian, you ever been to Groton?
- 1:14:36Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 1:14:36El Guapo: Right, half asleep.
- 1:14:38Testecleese: Wait, you been to… you been to the, Groton? No.
- 1:14:41Brian McFadden: death.
- 1:14:42Testecleese: No?
- 1:14:43Brian McFadden: Yes, I have!
- 1:14:44Testecleese: Oh, I asked Claire, too.
- 1:14:46Testecleese: It's a submarine base.
- 1:14:51Testecleese: And I've been to Groton, but not because of the Navy, just because I was close.
- 1:14:57Testecleese: Well, there's no HDs on subs.
- 1:15:00Claire Rose Hill: Something, something, something, insert joke here about black thing full of semen.
- 1:15:05Testecleese: What?
- 1:15:08Claire Rose Hill: Okay. Just a submarine joke, black thing.
- 1:15:10Testecleese: I know, I know.
- 1:15:12Testecleese: Yeah, 100 men go out, 50 couples come back.
- 1:15:16Testecleese: But yeah, there's no HDs on subs, because an HD does, like, a proper repair. It can do an emergency repair, but does a proper repair. MMs on subs do the emergency repair.
- 1:15:30El Guapo: Mmm.
- 1:15:30Testecleese: And by the time an HD can show up to do a proper repair, everyone's already dead on a submarine.
- 1:15:37Testecleese: So, yeah. And it was funny, at weld school, the MMs, like, yeah, we can weld just like you. I was like, no, dude, your test is a joke. Like, that has to hold long enough to get back to the surface.
- 1:15:52Testecleese: Sorry, I know you guys don't get the jokes, But…
- 1:15:57Testecleese: And actually, I didn't like the Seabees welding either. We had a Seabee join, Surface Fleet.
- 1:16:03El Guapo: Become an.
- 1:16:03Testecleese: HD.
- 1:16:05Testecleese: And Jesus Christ, he may as well have been frickin', welding fences for chicken coops together.
- 1:16:12Testecleese: Like, oh, you have to go back out and weld them back together, like, 2 weeks later? I'm like…
- 1:16:16Testecleese: No, that means you did it wrong, you know?
- 1:16:21Testecleese: Alright. Alright, New York City.
- 1:16:27Testecleese: What's up with Mom Donnie?
- 1:16:31Testecleese: And I understand the man is absolutely allowed to practice religion.
- 1:16:36Testecleese: I get that, and I accept that. And I understand that the media is gonna follow the man around and record this. I get that, too.
- 1:16:45Testecleese: But, one, after the bombing incident, he made it sound like the, quote, white supremacists threw the bombs in New York City.
- 1:16:54Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, and…
- 1:16:55Testecleese: And then he had the ISIS guy.
- 1:16:58Testecleese: at the mayor's mansion after that. Now we went to Rikers Island to end the Ramadan fast. I was like, Rikers Island is the worst of the worst.
- 1:17:07Testecleese: We've let all of the middle-class criminals out of prison.
- 1:17:12Testecleese: And… and on top of that, anyone who's in prison is bad, let alone Rikers Island.
- 1:17:18El Guapo: No.
- 1:17:20Testecleese: Like, this is Alcatraz style, you put him on a fucking island, right?
- 1:17:24El Guapo: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:17:27El Guapo: I don't know, I'll.
- 1:17:31Testecleese: Nope, no one has an opinion.
- 1:17:32El Guapo: You know.
- 1:17:33Claire Rose Hill: I don't like Mondani, I really don't. I think the dude is just… He's Gavin Newsom with a different religion, that's all he is.
- 1:17:41El Guapo: I can see that. Yeah.
- 1:17:43Testecleese: That's actually a great argument. I will say, too, though, that Elise Balmdani's not trying to push Islam upon the people. He's letting them.
- 1:17:51El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:17:51Testecleese: want to do. Yes, but look at, shit, I keep forgetting the, was it Clearwater, Michigan? Stillwater?
- 1:17:59El Guapo: You're watching.
- 1:18:00Testecleese: airborne.
- 1:18:01El Guapo: Dearborn.
- 1:18:02Testecleese: Dearborn, the entire government is Islamic, and they do a call to prayer five times a day over the PA system.
- 1:18:10Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, that's…
- 1:18:10Testecleese: I'm pretty sure that's against the rules.
- 1:18:13Claire Rose Hill: It is.
- 1:18:15Testecleese: And I'm all about knowing the fact that it never one says separation of church and state in the Constitution, but it does say we are… we will not be a theocracy.
- 1:18:29Claire Rose Hill: But, hey, they're using government funds to, not religion, which is unacceptable.
- 1:18:39Testecleese: I don't necessarily agree with that.
- 1:18:46Testecleese: the issue I would have is you'd have to promote any other religion…
- 1:18:52Testecleese: At least as much as…
- 1:18:56Testecleese: They represent the population. I tried to DEI it out. I tried to DEI it out, I couldn't…
- 1:19:03El Guapo: And the other thing is the southern states use government money to put their Ten Commandment plaques in their courthouses.
- 1:19:10Claire Rose Hill: I don't agree with that either.
- 1:19:12Testecleese: I have…
- 1:19:12Claire Rose Hill: The whole thing is, is like, you…
- 1:19:15Testecleese: I understand, but… Holy…
- 1:19:19Testecleese: I… I don't know where I stand on this, honestly, because the Ten Commandments is not the same thing as doing Call to Prayer.
- 1:19:26Claire Rose Hill: Okay, so here's my breakdown, is either… Because what?
- 1:19:30Testecleese: These 7 of the Ten Commandments are actually laws now, right?
- 1:19:32Claire Rose Hill: Yes, but at the.
- 1:19:33El Guapo: Depends what state you're in.
- 1:19:36Claire Rose Hill: Fair enough.
- 1:19:38Claire Rose Hill: I'm not sure if… I'm not sure if, like, sodomy's illegal in California.
- 1:19:45Testecleese: You're not allowed to cohabitate with someone of the opposite sex in West Virginia legally.
- 1:19:49El Guapo: Is that in the.
- 1:19:50Testecleese: Unless you're married to him. Now, granted, this is enforced as much as you can't put a pie on your windowsill on Sunday morning in Massachusetts.
- 1:19:58El Guapo: Okay.
- 1:19:59Claire Rose Hill: Yeah. But here's the thing, this is… it's not a slippery slope fallacy, it's just… it's…
- 1:20:07Testecleese: Understanding fallacies.
- 1:20:08Claire Rose Hill: I call it fair play. If you're gonna do this for one, you gotta do it for everybody, and we don't have the time to playlate to the lowest common denominator.
- 1:20:17Testecleese: Thank you, that was.
- 1:20:18Claire Rose Hill: do it for…
- 1:20:18Testecleese: That's my issue with… that's my issue with DEI.
- 1:20:21Claire Rose Hill: Yes.
- 1:20:22Testecleese: You can't give everyone… you can't give equity to everyone, because that means there's no equality.
- 1:20:29Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:20:30Claire Rose Hill: And that's… that's the whole thing with the religion, is like, I'm not gonna give in to any of them.
- 1:20:35Claire Rose Hill: Because if it means that, then in the sake of, quote, fairness, you have to give in to all of them. So, don't give in to any of them.
- 1:20:44Claire Rose Hill: Try to keep as secular a government as you can. You should be able to recognize the fact that, you know, there's a majority religion. You can recognize that, but government money shouldn't go into it.
- 1:20:57Testecleese: Well, hold on, what about the town I grew up in, Pembroke, that lights a Christmas tree every year?
- 1:21:04Claire Rose Hill: There are certain things that are more cultural than anything at this point in time.
- 1:21:08Testecleese: Yeah, they call it a holiday tree now, and that actually really pissed me off.
- 1:21:12Claire Rose Hill: I understand that, but Christmas has moved beyond the point of being a pagan or Christian holiday, despite how… whoever you want to call it, whoever you talk to. I'm not gonna.
- 1:21:21Testecleese: forgive him here.
- 1:21:22Claire Rose Hill: I…
- 1:21:22Testecleese: No, I'm sorry, you and I had this conversation a thousand times, and you know.
- 1:21:26El Guapo: Have another time, dude?
- 1:21:28Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, but here's the whole thing is, people are gonna make the argument either way. I'm not here to buy into any side of the argument, I'm just gonna say that it is a cultural part of this country's makeup at this point in time.
- 1:21:41Testecleese: shows in Christianity.
- 1:21:43Claire Rose Hill: Yes, it is.
- 1:21:45Testecleese: Did you know there were blasphemy laws in this country, even with the First Amendment, as it was ratified? I believe the most recent case I could find was, like, 1861 of someone being convicted of blasphemy in this country.
- 1:21:57Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I mean, in certain areas of this country, you're still not allowed to curse.
- 1:22:01Claire Rose Hill: Virginia Beach when we were there. Yeah, you were getting tickets.
- 1:22:06Claire Rose Hill: If you're cursing too much. And that still goes against the First Amendment, but is…
- 1:22:11Testecleese: But it's a place for children.
- 1:22:13Claire Rose Hill: Yeah. As we progress as a society, we tend towards more freedom. And mind you, this little blip, in our histories period where we're freaking going off the rails and going off the deep end with DEI and stuff like that is literally just a… it's just…
- 1:22:31Claire Rose Hill: the anomaly that disproves the rule, it's not the rule itself. We tend towards freedom as a society, and…
- 1:22:37Testecleese: Thought experiment. Thought experiment.
- 1:22:39Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:22:41Testecleese: I'm assuming everyone in this room besides myself is a registered Republican?
- 1:22:47Claire Rose Hill: No.
- 1:22:49Testecleese: Okay, you're probably independent, or maybe libertarian, because you're weird.
- 1:22:52Claire Rose Hill: I'm… I'm weird.
- 1:22:54El Guapo: Okay.
- 1:22:55Testecleese: I've done the libertarian thing, I gave up on them, because they're too busy trying to prove who's more libertarian than the other guy.
- 1:23:02Claire Rose Hill: It's wonderful!
- 1:23:03El Guapo: That's true, that, like…
- 1:23:05Testecleese: Yeah, nothing gets done.
- 1:23:06Claire Rose Hill: Exactly, that's why it's so beautiful.
- 1:23:09El Guapo: Hold on, hold on, hold on, let me go back a couple of seconds ago.
- 1:23:14El Guapo: You're a registered Republican now?
- 1:23:17Testecleese: No, I'm independent. I've been independent for… 8 years now?
- 1:23:21El Guapo: Oh, okay, okay.
- 1:23:23Testecleese: I refuse to pick a party.
- 1:23:25Testecleese: But… If you could all agree… to… 50% of your income.
- 1:23:34Testecleese: is gonna be taken as a tax. You get a… this is… I'm asking for your vote.
- 1:23:38Testecleese: 50% of your income is taken as a tax, but… You build pods.
- 1:23:45Testecleese: And plug the Democrats in so they can live in their Harry Potter world.
- 1:23:50Testecleese: And they get to go, haha, you stupid MAGA chuds paid for this, as they slay dragons in their computer world, but you get to live in reality and vote in reality without that.
- 1:24:02Testecleese: Would you pay for that?
- 1:24:04Claire Rose Hill: Cool.
- 1:24:05El Guapo: No, I like my money.
- 1:24:08Testecleese: Yeah, but now you gotta give it to homeless bums who shit on the side of the road.
- 1:24:12El Guapo: Not yet. Not in this state yet.
- 1:24:15Testecleese: No, no, wait, who's in charge over there? Span Burger?
- 1:24:18El Guapo: It's changing, and I may have to…
- 1:24:21Testecleese: the news zone.
- 1:24:23El Guapo: Again, it's changing, and I may have to move.
- 1:24:27Testecleese: I can't believe, I cannot believe.
- 1:24:29Testecleese: Virginia Democrats elected a Jew as their governor, with what's been going on with, how much they hate the Jews lately.
- 1:24:37El Guapo: Yeah, I don't think…
- 1:24:38Claire Rose Hill: So cost of living would go down.
- 1:24:40El Guapo: She's mentioning.
- 1:24:41Testecleese: Yes, everything would cost less.
- 1:24:42El Guapo: So now… She's not a loud and proud Jew, though, so…
- 1:24:48Testecleese: the point, but I'm saying that, exactly what Claire said, the cost of living would go down, the cost of everything would go down, because there's less competition, and only the people that can actually make goods are around, so you're not paying
- 1:25:01Testecleese: the welfare. You're not giving the guy a frickin' dollar chain, your dollar of change from the Starbucks, or whatever.
- 1:25:10Testecleese: You don't have to deal with the idiot at work who cuts his fucking fingers off and sues the company so you don't get a raise this year.
- 1:25:22Claire Rose Hill: I would be very tempted.
- 1:25:24Testecleese: Yeah, yeah, you'd be like, I'd like to see a graph, a chart of projections here, wouldn't you?
- 1:25:29Claire Rose Hill: Yes, yes, I would, I want to see the data.
- 1:25:32Testecleese: Okay, okay, let's say, let's say 20% of your income.
- 1:25:35Claire Rose Hill: Oh, 20%?
- 1:25:36El Guapo: Oh, definitely.
- 1:25:37Claire Rose Hill: Definitely, definitely.
- 1:25:40Claire Rose Hill: 20%? I will sacrifice 20%.
- 1:25:43Testecleese: No, no, we'll keep you happy.
- 1:25:46Testecleese: Don't worry about it, we'll protect this country, we'll keep you alive in the computers.
- 1:25:51Claire Rose Hill: Right…
- 1:25:53Testecleese: And then you get to be some friggin' chiseled dude, glistening pecs, with a fucking double-sided axe over your shoulder going.
- 1:26:01Testecleese: Sure is a beautiful morning.
- 1:26:03El Guapo: Hmm.
- 1:26:06El Guapo: Don't know if I'll ever be that dude, but okay.
- 1:26:09Testecleese: Alright, you get to be the, the buxom woman with a handkerchief on your, over your hair, hanging up laundry.
- 1:26:19Testecleese: To be stereotypical.
- 1:26:21El Guapo: She does everything she hate, like… I don't need no… never mind. She's the one in her court's like, I don't need no man, but I want a man.
- 1:26:32Testecleese: I don't need a woman either, but it's nice to have one.
- 1:26:34El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:26:36El Guapo: Alright.
- 1:26:38Testecleese: Alright.
- 1:26:39El Guapo: That's what we got.
- 1:26:40Testecleese: Oh shit, have you guys seen this, Mom Donnie's wife's stuff come up?
- 1:26:46El Guapo: Yeah, it's too late for now, you know, she…
- 1:26:50Testecleese: Well, no, they don't give a fuck anyway. They elected Jay Jones in Virginia.
- 1:26:55Testecleese: Not only did he say we should kill…
- 1:26:57Testecleese: what, Republicans' children, so they could die in their mother's arms. Did you see the video of him trying to kick a dog and missed?
- 1:27:05El Guapo: Oh, yeah, yeah, I remember that.
- 1:27:07Claire Rose Hill: sounds hilarious.
- 1:27:08Testecleese: There's a video, he went to kick a dog out of his way, and he missed!
- 1:27:13El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:27:14El Guapo: He only got where he is because his daddy's a federal judge.
- 1:27:18Testecleese: He's a terrible man!
- 1:27:20El Guapo: He is, I've met him.
- 1:27:22Testecleese: And what is it, Maine elected Platner? The guy with the fucking Nazi Totem Konf tattoo on his chest.
- 1:27:29El Guapo: He got elected?
- 1:27:32Testecleese: He got elected! And now… now he actually, in his new… in his re-campaign, his new campaign coming up.
- 1:27:39Testecleese: He's got pictures of the church he attends, and the church came out and was like, please, please don't use pictures of our church to,
- 1:27:45Testecleese: Promote yourself.
- 1:27:49El Guapo: Oh my god.
- 1:27:51Testecleese: Yeah, he claimed he didn't know what the tattoo meant, and I was like, there's an SS in that thing, dude.
- 1:27:57El Guapo: Maybe he didn't pass high school either.
- 1:28:02Testecleese: Then he didn't get to sign up.
- 1:28:04El Guapo: Oh, maybe.
- 1:28:06Testecleese: You need a high school education to join the service.
- 1:28:09El Guapo: Well, sometimes they give you a waiver and stuff.
- 1:28:11Testecleese: Yeah, but you need a GED for the waiver.
- 1:28:14El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:28:15El Guapo: It depends how old he is.
- 1:28:17El Guapo: I think it's in his 40s, huh?
- 1:28:20Testecleese: Yeah, he's somewhere around my age.
- 1:28:22El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:28:24Claire Rose Hill: He's…
- 1:28:24Testecleese: Goodbye.
- 1:28:25Claire Rose Hill: I'm trying to shove my head so far up my ass that I get… I can understand the logic, but I just can't.
- 1:28:31Testecleese: Well, no, at best, what his best argument would have been was, I got fucked up with my buddies in Austria.
- 1:28:38Claire Rose Hill: Came home!
- 1:28:40Testecleese: with a Nazi tattoo. That, that, I could've been like, alright, alright, I can see that happening, because I came home with my dick pierced.
- 1:28:49Testecleese: Three times!
- 1:28:50El Guapo: Ouch!
- 1:28:52Claire Rose Hill: I've seen it!
- 1:28:54El Guapo: Whoa!
- 1:28:59Testecleese: Is he? I'm not even talking to him! This shit happens, I get it!
- 1:29:03El Guapo: They have to be some people.
- 1:29:07Claire Rose Hill: You told me that he did kind of done. I told him no balls, and you fucking… no fucking way in hell. He whipped it right down in front of me.
- 1:29:15Testecleese: Whoop! Look at that!
- 1:29:18Testecleese: Right?
- 1:29:21Testecleese: I'll tell you what, it's ribbed for her pleasure.
- 1:29:27Testecleese: What?
- 1:29:29Testecleese: But yeah, I would have accepted that argument better than I didn't know what it meant. You know what I mean?
- 1:29:36Testecleese: Because, let's admit it, in the service, we did a bunch of dumb shit drunk, and…
- 1:29:40Testecleese: Who knows what you wake up and go, oh, fuck, what the hell did I do?
- 1:29:45El Guapo: Mmm.
- 1:29:46Testecleese: How many dudes get in trouble overseas when they get friggin' hammered in a foreign country?
- 1:29:51El Guapo: Yep.
- 1:29:52Testecleese: And now, not only did you get arrested in a foreign country, but… but… You're also fucking UA.
- 1:30:00El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:30:02Testecleese: Or, er, or dear God, missed ship's movements.
- 1:30:07Testecleese: Yeah, right? How fucked are you then?
- 1:30:11El Guapo: Yeah. Yep.
- 1:30:13Testecleese: Brian's… Brian… Brian's waking up.
- 1:30:15El Guapo: We miss shift movement.
- 1:30:17Testecleese: And he heard, he heard the ship's move, and he's like, oh, oh, fuck!
- 1:30:22Testecleese: Oh, Jen, do you know that he's the asshole that put in… and Claire, do you know that Brian is the asshole that brought in the Liberty Buddy policy?
- 1:30:30Brian McFadden: That's your policy. Really?
- 1:30:33El Guapo: Because of what he did, or because he was…
- 1:30:36Brian McFadden: He's…
- 1:30:37Testecleese: His actions directly led to it. Brian, please explain… one sheet, everyone yells at you.
- 1:30:44Brian McFadden: What's a day, though.
- 1:30:49El Guapo: Oh, he got, yeah, he got… he went, what was it, he got mischief Movement or something like that, Brian?
- 1:30:55Brian McFadden: No, they misremove it.
- 1:30:59Brian McFadden: The person I was with, who was my Liberty buddy, pissed off the Command Master Chief.
- 1:31:04El Guapo: Oh, shit.
- 1:31:08Testecleese: Oh, that wasn't much of a story.
- 1:31:10El Guapo: Yeah.
- 1:31:10Claire Rose Hill: That's, that's, that's…
- 1:31:12Testecleese: I… Brian usually does this better, but…
- 1:31:14El Guapo: Oh, what's up.
- 1:31:15Testecleese: I woke up in a drunken haze.
- 1:31:17Brian McFadden: heaven.
- 1:31:18Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:31:18El Guapo: Yeah, it was because of… Did you have odds of that?
- 1:31:22Testecleese: This dude's actions is why we all had to have a liberty buddy. And you know what? They've done away with that policy since then.
- 1:31:28El Guapo: Really?
- 1:31:29Testecleese: Yup.
- 1:31:31Brian McFadden: Jimmy Drunken Stooper is a sailor again.
- 1:31:35Testecleese: Not even… no, just don't get so fucked up that you attack your own chain of command!
- 1:31:40Brian McFadden: What happened?
- 1:31:42El Guapo: I don't know, sometimes some of those boot incidents need a good kick in the butt.
- 1:31:47Testecleese: Well, I mean, true.
- 1:31:49Testecleese: True, but that's not your job to do, is it?
- 1:31:52Testecleese: I would like to go with my crew and not have to not have a beer… a drink today when I'm in France for one day, and I would love to try some French wine while I'm in France, you know what I mean?
- 1:32:03El Guapo: Yeah?
- 1:32:05Testecleese: Check this out, we were in Rota, Spain for one day,
- 1:32:09Testecleese: That wasn't on the same ship as you, Claire, was it? We never went to Spain.
- 1:32:13Claire Rose Hill: No, we didn't. We went to.
- 1:32:15Testecleese: Yeah, that was on the Villa Golf.
- 1:32:17Testecleese: I had duty that day.
- 1:32:21Testecleese: Let me tell you how much it sucks to be in port for one day and have duty. And we only had one one day port visit, my… that entire cruise.
- 1:32:32Claire Rose Hill: Jeez.
- 1:32:33Testecleese: I did get to see Israel a lot, though.
- 1:32:37Testecleese: And, well, that was really cool.
- 1:32:41Testecleese: Especially because, like, Israel wasn't being…
- 1:32:45Testecleese: Well, I wasn't involved in conflict at the time.
- 1:32:49Testecleese: It was during, you know, the… what, 10 to 15, maybe 20 years, Israel gets peace, and then…
- 1:32:58Testecleese: They're attacked, basically, and then they fight back, and they're called Nazis, and I'm like, it's funny you calling the Jews the Nazis. You know?
- 1:33:09Testecleese: Oh, a liberal friend of mine tried to explain to me how you could hate Jews and… and…
- 1:33:15Testecleese: they're still the Nazi. I'm like…
- 1:33:18Testecleese: Dude, you're trying to explain how…
- 1:33:21Testecleese: It's like, first of all, you're justifying your anti-Semitism, and how you're not… and how the Jews are the Nazis.
- 1:33:30Claire Rose Hill: I, I, trust me, I've got liberal friends that do the same thing. I live near Chicago again, so…
- 1:33:35Testecleese: Oh, that's a mistake.
- 1:33:37Claire Rose Hill: Oh, I live in the suburbs, so…
- 1:33:39Testecleese: Where's Chicago?
- 1:33:41Testecleese: Mark Keegan?
- 1:33:44Claire Rose Hill: No.
- 1:33:46Testecleese: McHenry.
- 1:33:47Claire Rose Hill: Huh? Fuck no, I ain't living in Waukegan, no.
- 1:33:51Claire Rose Hill: Up by McHenry, so…
- 1:33:55Testecleese: Oh, yeah.
- 1:33:56Testecleese: Yeah, I wouldn't go back to Illinois. Actually, Illinois is one of our states on this list today to talk about.
- 1:34:03Claire Rose Hill: Oh, Joy, my state is always a source of entertainment.
- 1:34:09Claire Rose Hill: Our governor looks like Jabba the Hutt.
- 1:34:13Testecleese: Pritzker?
- 1:34:14Claire Rose Hill: Yes.
- 1:34:16Testecleese: Oh, look at that!
- 1:34:18Testecleese: Come- oh, come on!
- 1:34:21Testecleese: Who else can get a state and spit out the name of the governor?
- 1:34:25Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 1:34:26Testecleese: Alright, Brian, Massachusetts.
- 1:34:31Brian McFadden: Hochul.
- 1:34:33Testecleese: Oh, look at… no, that's New York.
- 1:34:36Testecleese: I always make that mistake, too.
- 1:34:39El Guapo: my sister.
- 1:34:39Testecleese: I don't wanna say Michelle Wu, but that's bar.
- 1:34:41El Guapo: Yeah, that's.
- 1:34:41Testecleese: Mayor.
- 1:34:42El Guapo: Mayor of Boston.
- 1:34:46Testecleese: This happens every time when we try to figure out the governor of Massachusetts. None of us can ever come up with it.
- 1:34:51El Guapo: Yeah, now that in the news, I mean, we're just kinda good, like, hey, let me lay low.
- 1:34:57Testecleese: Yeah, well, Kathy Hochul's a fucking joke.
- 1:35:00Testecleese: I mean, she's taken both sides of so many arguments, especially when it comes to Mom Donnie's shit.
- 1:35:05El Guapo: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:35:07Testecleese: Like, she supported him on, like, we're gonna make everything free, and then as soon as he got elected, she's like, we can't pay for that. New York's not gonna pay for that shit, we have, like, farmers.
- 1:35:19Testecleese: Yeah, we can't pay for the homeless drug addicts.
- 1:35:21Claire Rose Hill: Oh, it's… Literally just Chicago. It's just on the East Coast.
- 1:35:28Claire Rose Hill: With the whole, I want it now!
- 1:35:31Claire Rose Hill: Crybaby fucking people.
- 1:35:33Testecleese: Thank you, Verruca Salt.
- 1:35:36Testecleese: No? No one got that Willy Wonka reference?
- 1:35:39Claire Rose Hill: No.
- 1:35:41Testecleese: Daddy, I want Oompa Loomba, and I want NOW!
- 1:35:48Testecleese: God… Did I just date myself with Gene Wilder movies?
- 1:35:53Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:35:54Testecleese: Alright…
- 1:35:56Brian McFadden: Older than me.
- 1:35:57Testecleese: No, it's not.
- 1:36:00Claire Rose Hill: I am not gonna quote my favorite Gene Wilder movie, because it will get us a strike on.
- 1:36:05Testecleese: Oh, it… it must be… oh, no, you can't hear, but it must be Wagons East, then. Or, eat that, or hear no evil, see no evil.
- 1:36:13Claire Rose Hill: Blazing Saddles.
- 1:36:15Testecleese: Oh, that's where I'm at, Blazing Saddles. I said Wagons East, that was John Candy, wasn't it?
- 1:36:19Claire Rose Hill: Yes, it was.
- 1:36:21Testecleese: Yeah, he's dead.
- 1:36:23Testecleese: oh, shit, I clicked something?
- 1:36:28Testecleese: Oh, check this out! Tim Walz in Minnesota is all upset because a bunch of people, like, moved money in the stock market right before this potential Iran ceasefire happened.
- 1:36:40Testecleese: And he wants to know, who had foreknowledge?
- 1:36:44Testecleese: And I was like, dude, this is literally what the Trump administration has been trying to do with insider trading.
- 1:36:50Testecleese: Since he got in office, and you've stopped him every step of the way.
- 1:36:56Testecleese: And I laughed my ass off during the State of the Union, Elizabeth Warren's standing ovation for the insider trade, and I was like, Elizabeth, you're on the list!
- 1:37:05Testecleese: You know?
- 1:37:08Testecleese: Alright.
- 1:37:10Testecleese: Looks like Guapo's rolling out.
- 1:37:14Testecleese: He says she's leaping in, he's gotta get up early, but he is hoping he gets a piece instead.
- 1:37:21Claire Rose Hill: Good for him.
- 1:37:23Testecleese: Maybe.
- 1:37:30Testecleese: But yeah, it drove me nuts, and Tim Wallace was like, insider trading?
- 1:37:35Testecleese: But he didn't give a fuck about inside trading, he's trying to make this sound like a war effort thing.
- 1:37:42Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I mean…
- 1:37:43Testecleese: Nope, yeah, what?
- 1:37:46Claire Rose Hill: I… I just can't take Tim Wall seriously.
- 1:37:49Claire Rose Hill: I can't.
- 1:37:51Testecleese: Oh, he's a putt.
- 1:37:56Testecleese: Remember when he eats, he eats tacos with mayonnaise?
- 1:38:00Testecleese: Is that what he said?
- 1:38:02Claire Rose Hill: Oh, God, ew.
- 1:38:04Testecleese: I ate white guy tacos.
- 1:38:06Testecleese: I was like, what the fuck does happen? And I love it, like…
- 1:38:09Testecleese: The white people don't know how to season their food. The fucking white people almost eliminated the Indian people!
- 1:38:17Testecleese: To get their food to taste better, okay?
- 1:38:21Testecleese: Did anyone hear about, like, the West Indian, spice route? What, the British… India, whatever, whatever.
- 1:38:31Testecleese: It's still a thing.
- 1:38:34Testecleese: Moving spices across the planet.
- 1:38:40Testecleese: Oh, my goodness.
- 1:38:42Testecleese: Oh, check this out. Illinois…
- 1:38:46Testecleese: There's a city in Illinois, I can't remember which one.
- 1:38:49Testecleese: See if I can't find out. But they are looking to… Fire, police have a…
- 1:38:56Testecleese: An Illinois police officer was fired after investigation into social media posts aimed at immigration and Customs Enforcement. The city of Elgin terminated Officer Jason Ledz for violation of department policies regarding posts that suggested ICE should investigate certain locations, for… of the city for, you know, illegal immigration.
- 1:39:16Testecleese: But… You can't even be like, hey, by the way, here's where the crime is?
- 1:39:24Testecleese: You're… This sounds like a courtroom…
- 1:39:28Testecleese: Because you know how difficult it is to fire a government employee, right?
- 1:39:33Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:39:35Claire Rose Hill: That's actually in my area, by the way.
- 1:39:38Testecleese: Elgin?
- 1:39:39Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, Elgin.
- 1:39:40Testecleese: Elgin, I'm sorry.
- 1:39:41Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, it's a few… it's a few towns south. It's in the…
- 1:39:44Claire Rose Hill: It's closer to Chicago, but yeah, it's just a few towns south for me.
- 1:39:49Testecleese: See, I thought Elkins right away, and that's somewhat near Chicago.
- 1:39:54Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, no, that's a… Elgin, so…
- 1:39:59Testecleese: But yeah, dude lost his job. I got a… I got a feeling he's got a… a suit in court.
- 1:40:05Testecleese: And you know what? Don't even try to get your job back. Demand, like, 10 years pay, because you've been blacklisted and can't find work now.
- 1:40:14Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:40:15Testecleese: Who wants to be the cop that's gonna be… have other cops turn their back on them when they're under fire, right?
- 1:40:24Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, there's no way that this guy's gonna work around here again, especially with how the cops act and stuff.
- 1:40:30Testecleese: Even security won't hire them.
- 1:40:34Testecleese: None?
- 1:40:34Claire Rose Hill: Let's hair, at least.
- 1:40:36Testecleese: Yeah, dude has to leave the state or learn a new trade at this point.
- 1:40:40Claire Rose Hill: Yep.
- 1:40:41Testecleese: Yeah, I think he's got a lawsuit.
- 1:40:44Testecleese: Well, I don't… I doubt it goes anywhere, honestly, because most people don't do shit, they just…
- 1:40:49Testecleese: Get fucked and lay down. I don't know if you've noticed that.
- 1:40:55Claire Rose Hill: Sounds about right.
- 1:40:57Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:40:57Claire Rose Hill: He'll come out and apologize, and they'll still demand him be fired.
- 1:41:02Testecleese: Yes, no, yes, and that's the problem, dude, is don't apologize, you're just admitting guilt at that point.
- 1:41:08Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 1:41:09Testecleese: They're… they're not going to forgive you.
- 1:41:13Testecleese: Even for shit you might have posted on fucking… Twitter…
- 1:41:17Testecleese: 15 years ago, before it became X,
- 1:41:21Testecleese: They're still gonna nail you to the wall for it.
- 1:41:26Claire Rose Hill: Yep.
- 1:41:28Testecleese: Oh, shit, that's right, Chicago is where this frickin' murder happened, this execution happened, isn't it?
- 1:41:39Testecleese: The call at Loyola?
- 1:41:42Testecleese: Oh, yeah!
- 1:41:43Testecleese: Laloya… L-O… Y-O-L-L-A, or something like that? University, college student.
- 1:41:52Testecleese: This dude just walked across the street and shot her in the head.
- 1:41:56Claire Rose Hill: Oh, God.
- 1:41:58Testecleese: while… People have come out, and they were saying, it was her fault, wrong place, wrong time.
- 1:42:05Claire Rose Hill: How is it her fault?
- 1:42:06Testecleese: Well, if it's her fault for being at the wrong place, wrong time, first of all, it was during college hours, so she was walking across campus.
- 1:42:14Testecleese: And two, if it was her fault for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, then definitely the girl in the ultra-tiny miniskirt in the alley next to a bar in a shady area at 2AM was asking to get raped.
- 1:42:27Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:42:28Claire Rose Hill: This is just… this is Chicago logic. It is…
- 1:42:31Testecleese: No, I… I swear they told me, never blame the victim. No matter what. No matter… no matter how much I said, please do it, it's still not their fault, right?
- 1:42:39Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, but this is, like, Chicago logic. Like, the areas around Chicago are really nice, but Chicago itself…
- 1:42:46Testecleese: It's a shithole!
- 1:42:47Claire Rose Hill: Oh yeah, nobody that lives around Chicago actually goes into Chicago, from my experience, like…
- 1:42:55Claire Rose Hill: I live in the small towns around it, and
- 1:42:59Claire Rose Hill: no one here wants to go into Chicago, like, it's…
- 1:43:03Testecleese: Yeah, at least people… at least people in the burbs in Massachusetts still want to drive into Boston once in a while.
- 1:43:10Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:43:10Testecleese: go see the city tonight, you know what I mean?
- 1:43:13Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, out here, it's just like, hey, let's go to Chicago. No, no, we got good food out here. Why do you need to go to Chicago?
- 1:43:21Testecleese: Why do I want to get robbed? Yeah. You know?
- 1:43:26Testecleese: Yeah, and I'm pretty sure it was Chicago.
- 1:43:29Testecleese: that, yeah, it was the… it was Pritzker who came out about this woman.
- 1:43:36Testecleese: This young lady, college student, by the way, illegal immigrant killed her.
- 1:43:43Claire Rose Hill: God.
- 1:43:44Testecleese: Said, we cannot incarcerate our way out of this problem.
- 1:43:48Testecleese: And I was like…
- 1:43:49Claire Rose Hill: We don't incarcerate people in the first place.
- 1:43:51Testecleese: Well, no, he… no.
- 1:43:53Testecleese: The problem is, crime went down, so they let everyone out of prison.
- 1:43:58Testecleese: And then crime spiked, and they didn't understand why. We tried incarcerations, like, yes, the bad guys are still in prison!
- 1:44:07Testecleese: You let them out!
- 1:44:08Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, we have some of the most lenient laws in this country when it comes to,
- 1:44:16Claire Rose Hill: the catch and release system that we've got, it's just a revolving door of criminals now. That's all it is, is it's a revolving door of criminals. I came back here because the veteran community's one of the best in the country here.
- 1:44:29Claire Rose Hill: But…
- 1:44:31Testecleese: Okay.
- 1:44:33Testecleese: According to whom?
- 1:44:35Testecleese: You… your own opinion, or did you see this somewhere? Personal experience. Okay, okay. No, that… personal experience is a factor, don't get me wrong, but there is actually a lot of vets out here.
- 1:44:46Testecleese: It's something like almost 30% of the population.
- 1:44:50Claire Rose Hill: I getcha. I just had dinner with a guy that, played in the Ice Bowl, and he's a veteran.
- 1:44:56Testecleese: the… the football Super Bowl thing?
- 1:45:00Claire Rose Hill: No, the ice ball, it wasn't a Super Bowl, but look it up.
- 1:45:03Testecleese: Okay, it was the playoffs.
- 1:45:04Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I think it was,
- 1:45:06Testecleese: It was… it was the New England Patriots.
- 1:45:10Claire Rose Hill: I suppose.
- 1:45:10Testecleese: Yeah, and, well, that was when they shoveling off every 10 yards.
- 1:45:16Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, it was.
- 1:45:17Testecleese: Vinatieri kicked, like, a 53-yard field goal to win the game.
- 1:45:25Testecleese: Yeah, I think that was the… when Brady won his first Super Bowl, maybe.
- 1:45:28Claire Rose Hill: It was, the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys, and it was in 1967.
- 1:45:33Testecleese: Okay, so maybe this is Ice Bowl 2.0 that I'm thinking of.
- 1:45:38Testecleese: Yeah. Because I know there was a… there was a Patriots game, when the Patriots had a dynasty, when they first started it. It was completely frozen, there was feet of snow on the ground, and they were shoveling off, like, every 10 yards, so you could know where the yard lines were.
- 1:45:56Testecleese: Great game. It turns out after the fact it was illegal to go and shovel off the field, but…
- 1:46:01Testecleese: Didn't matter at that point, by the time I even realized it, because the refs didn't call it, you know?
- 1:46:06Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, but yeah, I got to eat dinner with a guy that played in that, and he's a vet too, and really, really, like, cool guy, and just, like, top-notch veteran community out here. It's next level.
- 1:46:19Claire Rose Hill: like… That's why I moved back here after, you know. Boop.
- 1:46:25Claire Rose Hill: So…
- 1:46:26Testecleese: Yeah, you should say out of Illinois in general.
- 1:46:29Brian McFadden: How many more states do you want to cover?
- 1:46:31Testecleese: What we could…
- 1:46:34Testecleese: Well, I'm gonna bring… well, we're in Illinois anyway, but there's only one more after this.
- 1:46:39Brian McFadden: Alright. I've been a little distracted with alcohol.
- 1:46:43Testecleese: I've noticed, and you said you were gonna be okay, and you do this a lot, Brian.
- 1:46:50Brian McFadden: Sorry.
- 1:46:51Testecleese: I'm just teasing you, it's fucking Friday, this is what we're here for, right?
- 1:46:56Testecleese: This is… this is how the show ends.
- 1:46:57Brian McFadden: Next Friday will be different. There will be no VFW beforehand.
- 1:47:02Testecleese: Well, I'm just saying, this is how the show started, we got hammered and started talking about, did you see this shit on the news?
- 1:47:07Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:47:08Testecleese: Then one day, you had the boss to actually hit record and publish it.
- 1:47:12Brian McFadden: And then, you know, UFC's on Paramount Plus now, so you can watch it whenever you want.
- 1:47:17Testecleese: That's right, we used to drink and watch UFC, then talk about the news.
- 1:47:21Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 1:47:22Testecleese: We used to… yeah, we'd go to the fight every month, too, or watch it at the bar.
- 1:47:28Brian McFadden: Now you don't have to go to the bar, you can just watch it on Paramount+.
- 1:47:31Claire Rose Hill: I got a big 55-inch TV now.
- 1:47:34Brian McFadden: Nice.
- 1:47:35Testecleese: Yeah, my TV broke, and I didn't think this was a thing that still happened. I got, like, this bar on the bottom that won't work right.
- 1:47:42Testecleese: And I'm like, I thought this was, like, something that went away in the 90s.
- 1:47:46Testecleese: With the cathode ray tube, you know?
- 1:47:51Testecleese: But TVs are way cheaper now, though. We were looking at 55-inch TVs, and it was, like, 200 bucks. And we were like, what?
- 1:48:02Testecleese: And I was like, no, this used to be, like, a thousand.
- 1:48:06Testecleese: But check this out, this, the teachers union in Chicago is trying to get, not just…
- 1:48:15Testecleese: Accepted absence from class, but…
- 1:48:18Testecleese: cancel school so the teachers can bring the students out to protest against Trump.
- 1:48:25Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 1:48:26Brian McFadden: That's not a thing.
- 1:48:28Brian McFadden: Should not be a thing, at least, but Illinois…
- 1:48:31Testecleese: The problem is, I know many… I know of at least a couple of schools that have allowed kids to skip school to go protest, and then, like, kids got hit by fucking cars.
- 1:48:42Claire Rose Hill: This is ridiculous. I don't get this. I don't get this.
- 1:48:45Testecleese: What gives you the right to teach my kids their politics and then bring them to a protest so they don't have to go to school?
- 1:48:52Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, and it is political indoctrination, because you tell a kid, hey, look, if you buy into this political philosophy, we'll give you a day off.
- 1:49:00Testecleese: You don't even have to believe in it! Just show up.
- 1:49:03Brian McFadden: Did you do it enough time.
- 1:49:04Brian McFadden: -Oh.
- 1:49:05Testecleese: I do it enough times, and all of a sudden, this is everyone saying this.
- 1:49:10Testecleese: You know, and it's like… It's like, no, you're a stupid kid.
- 1:49:14Testecleese: Alright, you…
- 1:49:17Claire Rose Hill: I would be proud.
- 1:49:18Testecleese: Well, I'm getting really embarrassed lately watching some of these YouTube videos of people going to, like, the beach on spring break.
- 1:49:26Testecleese: of college students.
- 1:49:28Claire Rose Hill: Oh, how stupid they are.
- 1:49:30Testecleese: Yes!
- 1:49:32Testecleese: And I was like, there's no way that… there's no way this is the average person. And I'm sure they're picking the footage they want, but how do you find that many people who think that this country was founded in, like, 1970?
- 1:49:47Claire Rose Hill: It flabberg?
- 1:49:49Testecleese: like…
- 1:49:49Claire Rose Hill: I'm like.
- 1:49:50Testecleese: Okay, you're 18, Or… 20, maybe.
- 1:49:55Testecleese: So you… well, let's assume your father was… Young when you were born.
- 1:50:00Testecleese: So he's 40.
- 1:50:03Testecleese: His father was born before when you thought this country was founded.
- 1:50:08Testecleese: You know?
- 1:50:10Claire Rose Hill: Oh yeah, ask somebody how many presidents we've had.
- 1:50:14Testecleese: Well, that's easy. Whoa!
- 1:50:16Testecleese: Not… that depends. Trick question, you motherfucker, there.
- 1:50:23Testecleese: How many presidents, or how many terms?
- 1:50:26Claire Rose Hill: Either one. Honestly, you would be surprised.
- 1:50:29Testecleese: 54 is easy.
- 1:50:31Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, but you.
- 1:50:32Testecleese: Well, and how many presidents? How many presidents is a little tougher. How many served two terms? How many served 1? How many served four?
- 1:50:42Claire Rose Hill: But no, seriously, go ask a college student how many presidents we've had.
- 1:50:45Testecleese: But again, what is the right answer to that? How many presidents? I'm gonna assume people in office of the President of the United States.
- 1:50:53Claire Rose Hill: I mean, yeah.
- 1:50:54Testecleese: Did you answer that question?
- 1:50:56Claire Rose Hill: It's like 37.
- 1:50:58Testecleese: I have no idea, honestly.
- 1:51:00Claire Rose Hill: I honestly think it's, like, 37 or 35.
- 1:51:02Testecleese: Especially, what, there's at least one guy who stepped in as VP, then didn't win president after that, right?
- 1:51:08Testecleese: That's fine.
- 1:51:11Testecleese: And then you have, what, your Jimmy Carter and your, Bush?
- 1:51:14Claire Rose Hill: 45, I was on the right track.
- 1:51:16Testecleese: 45 is terms.
- 1:51:18Claire Rose Hill: Oh, okay.
- 1:51:20Testecleese: This was 43 and 45, right?
- 1:51:22Claire Rose Hill: Total number of presidencies is 47.
- 1:51:27Claire Rose Hill: Okay…
- 1:51:31Testecleese: They're probably talking about VP stepping in, then.
- 1:51:38Testecleese: Because we've had 47 elections.
- 1:51:41Testecleese: I believe.
- 1:51:44Testecleese: And how many people serve two terms?
- 1:51:48Testecleese: And not just 2 terms, but, like, FDR did 4, right?
- 1:51:56Testecleese: Yeah, now, look, I can see Clay's determined, he's like, this is a fascinating question, I want to know the answer now.
- 1:52:03Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, because every time I'm googling it, AI's just spitting out 47.
- 1:52:08Testecleese: Yeah, and that's what you would expect to hear.
- 1:52:11Testecleese: Okay, how about this? How many people have been President of the United States?
- 1:52:17Claire Rose Hill: It's saying if you don't count consecutive… no, non-consecutive ter… okay, and that's not the…
- 1:52:23Testecleese: Now, that's only two presidents in the history of the country.
- 1:52:26Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:52:29Testecleese: We're over Cleveland, by the way.
- 1:52:31Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:52:33Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, it's saying 45 if you don't count non-consecutive terms, but they're fucking… there's gotta be.
- 1:52:39Testecleese: But Obama served two terms.
- 1:52:40Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, so did both.
- 1:52:41Testecleese: In a row. Yeah.
- 1:52:44Testecleese: Quinton… Reagan…
- 1:52:46Claire Rose Hill: I… I swear to God, it's like…
- 1:52:49Claire Rose Hill: It's, like, fuckin' 30… between 30… 35 and 37.
- 1:52:54Testecleese: What's the question you're asking it? How are you prompting it?
- 1:52:57Claire Rose Hill: How many presidents?
- 1:52:59Claire Rose Hill: In total…
- 1:53:01Testecleese: No, no, no, try typing this in. How many people have been the President of the United States?
- 1:53:10Testecleese: Because that might give us a diff- a different answer, you know what I mean?
- 1:53:15Testecleese: Cause it's gonna go, oh,
- 1:53:17Testecleese: Teddy Roosevelt doesn't count twice. Trump doesn't count twice.
- 1:53:25Testecleese: as Claire's figuring this out, because I'm excited.
- 1:53:28Testecleese: fuck. We got a bunch of California, if you want to talk about it, but honestly, I think I'm done with California. I think everyone's done with California. Everyone is.
- 1:53:38Brian McFadden: I think I'm done with the whole show.
- 1:53:41Claire Rose Hill: Huh.
- 1:53:41Testecleese: Oh, you don't…
- 1:53:42Claire Rose Hill: Somebody, somebody…
- 1:53:44Claire Rose Hill: Some… somebody had a little too much fun at the VFW. Yep. Don't blame him. I love going down there. 45 in total. 45 men have held the position.
- 1:53:54Testecleese: Aren't we only… But Trump was 43 and 45, so that can't be right.
- 1:54:01Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, it's telling me 45 people in total.
- 1:54:05Testecleese: Are they listed?
- 1:54:09Claire Rose Hill: Hold up.
- 1:54:09Brian McFadden: I'm sure it could be.
- 1:54:11Testecleese: I'm just…
- 1:54:12Claire Rose Hill: Oh, junior.
- 1:54:12Testecleese: goes, I'm… -Oh, this'll be fun.
- 1:54:17Testecleese: Apparently not.
- 1:54:18Claire Rose Hill: 1, 2, 3… for…
- 1:54:21Testecleese: Oh, you just sit here and count them all?
- 1:54:27Testecleese: Well.
- 1:54:29Claire Rose Hill: It's not… yeah, so it's 45. This includes vice presidents that took over the term and stuff like that.
- 1:54:35Claire Rose Hill: So…
- 1:54:37Testecleese: For some reason, okay, maybe I thought… I thought 45. Yeah, but again, how is Trump…
- 1:54:45Testecleese: 43 and 45.
- 1:54:47Brian McFadden: Because there's a president in between them, Biden.
- 1:54:50Testecleese: Yeah, but he's the same man being president.
- 1:54:53Claire Rose Hill: He, he was 45 and 47.
- 1:54:56Testecleese: Okay, I'm sorry, my mistake. Oh, okay, that would… yeah. Sorry, the beer.
- 1:55:01Testecleese: So that's… okay, I'm sorry, I thought they…
- 1:55:03Brian McFadden: No weed involved, just beer.
- 1:55:05Testecleese: True. I thought they accounted for the…
- 1:55:07Testecleese: elections, not the person in office. So when JFK was killed.
- 1:55:14Testecleese: The man who took office after him was the next number.
- 1:55:17Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 1:55:17Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:55:18Testecleese: Okay. So, because we've had two non-consecutive presidents, that brings it down by 2.
- 1:55:24Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:55:26Testecleese: Okay, well, see, this was… This has been bothering me.
- 1:55:30Brian McFadden: ChatGBT.
- 1:55:31Testecleese: Yeah, this has been bothering me for some time.
- 1:55:35Testecleese: I'm glad I haven't.
- 1:55:36Claire Rose Hill: I think even the AI got it wrong, because the guy that took over for Nixon was not Gerald Ford, and the guy that took over for Nixon is actually not list… wait, was it Gerald Ford?
- 1:55:49Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 1:55:50Claire Rose Hill: Okay. Sounds great.
- 1:55:51Testecleese: Right?
- 1:55:52Testecleese: Yeah, but, like, FDR served 4 terms, so he only counted as the same name… same number for all 4 terms.
- 1:56:00Claire Rose Hill: Yes.
- 1:56:01Testecleese: Okay.
- 1:56:02Testecleese: Look at that, I learn something new every day.
- 1:56:08Claire Rose Hill: So I was off by, like, 10, so, you know, hey.
- 1:56:11Testecleese: Well, no, because you're like, that makes sense. Adjust.
- 1:56:16Testecleese: Okay.
- 1:56:20Testecleese: this… this pre-repressed bullshit I've been hearing is really pissing me off.
- 1:56:26Testecleese: and some Clinton-era judge, which I don't… I only bring up Clinton-era because it was in the headline.
- 1:56:33Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:56:34Testecleese: has ruled that the Pentagon has violated First Amendment rights by only allowing certain reporters in for interviews.
- 1:56:42Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:56:42Testecleese: like, the press briefings. And I'm like, First Amendment gives you the right to say what you want and to be able to publish it. It does not give you access to someone else to get stuff to publish.
- 1:56:55Claire Rose Hill: I mean, like, seriously, are we gonna allow, like, Hezbollah's new news organization in there?
- 1:57:01Testecleese: Yeah, where's Al Jazeera?
- 1:57:02Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, Al Jazeera? Sorry, forgot the name of it for a sec.
- 1:57:08Testecleese: The crazy thing is, I actually read Al Jazeera news, because they're usually very good on a lot of stuff.
- 1:57:15Testecleese: But, grain of salt.
- 1:57:17Testecleese: But yeah, it really, it really bothered me that the… and the same thing happened with the press, the White House, press briefings, like, oh, you have to let us in. It's like, no, no, they don't. Can I just say I'm a fucking journalist and walk in, too?
- 1:57:33Brian McFadden: Goodbye.
- 1:57:34Claire Rose Hill: it works.
- 1:57:35Claire Rose Hill: on the left.
- 1:57:37Testecleese: When they broke up.
- 1:57:39Testecleese: And meanwhile, Nick Shirley's not a reporter, he's a YouTuber, and then Don Lemon's like, I'm a reporter, like, Don Lemon, you're a fucking YouTuber!
- 1:57:48Testecleese: Hope you know that!
- 1:57:51Claire Rose Hill: You…
- 1:57:52Testecleese: Broke into a church and violated their rights.
- 1:57:55Claire Rose Hill: Yep.
- 1:57:56Claire Rose Hill: Which should land him in jail.
- 1:57:59Brian McFadden: Meanwhile…
- 1:57:59Testecleese: Or at least a big giant fine or something, or some kind of don't do this anymore, right?
- 1:58:05Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 1:58:06Testecleese: Like, yo, man, especially with all this shit going on in churches lately, you want a bunch of angry people kicking in your door in the middle of worship?
- 1:58:16Claire Rose Hill: I wouldn't do it, nope, nope, that ain't a smart move, that's not a smart move. This is how you see if their God is real or not.
- 1:58:25Testecleese: How do you mean that?
- 1:58:27Claire Rose Hill: Oh, most people I know that go to church are armed, even at church, and you kick in the door angrily, trying to protest something, and all this shit that's been happening in churches, that's a quick way to find out if there's an afterlife.
- 1:58:42Testecleese: Alright, well, we… we carry, and in church, but typically, I wouldn't bring my gun in church, because I don't even bring my phone in church.
- 1:58:50Brian McFadden: Bet your wife does.
- 1:58:53Testecleese: Her phone? Yeah.
- 1:58:55Testecleese: She at least finally got her to put it on… Mute.
- 1:58:59Claire Rose Hill: She's a.
- 1:59:00Testecleese: A thousand messages a minute, it's fucking ridiculous.
- 1:59:03Claire Rose Hill: Oh, my phone's been quiet this whole time, I'm actually kind of worried.
- 1:59:08Testecleese: It takes, it takes years. Don't respond to anything for, like, 5 years, they'll stop contacting you.
- 1:59:16Claire Rose Hill: Mmm…
- 1:59:18Testecleese: Yeah, yeah, that sounds good.
- 1:59:22Claire Rose Hill: Most of my friends are women, and they would be banging down my door if I didn't respond within, like, a day.
- 1:59:31Claire Rose Hill: Did Claire, you okay? You in there? Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock.
- 1:59:34Testecleese: I have a sibling chat with my brother and my sister that I was so inactive in, they put my wife into it to replace me.
- 1:59:43Brian McFadden: Nice. That's good for you.
- 1:59:46Brian McFadden: So, Department of War, Secretary Hedgebeth.
- 1:59:51Brian McFadden: has removed 4 officers, 2 women, and 2 black men from… Military promotion list.
- 1:59:59Testecleese: He's obviously sexist and racist, right?
- 2:00:02Brian McFadden: That's what they're coming out saying.
- 2:00:05Claire Rose Hill: I don't know, I mean… What was their title?
- 2:00:08Testecleese: They're all… they're all competing for one star general in the army, so they're all competing for the same position. It's not like he went through all the services.
- 2:00:20Testecleese: And picked black men and women.
- 2:00:23Testecleese: Is it possible he wants… One or two people to get the job, instead of… DEI.
- 2:00:34Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:00:37Testecleese: And here's the thing is, the people are like, I'm not sure this is legal, and all I can say is, he's the fucking Secretary of War, he can tell the Army what to do, it doesn't fucking matter. He has absolute control, except for the President of the United States, right?
- 2:00:49Claire Rose Hill: Here's the thing, here's the thing. The military should be a meritocracy.
- 2:00:55Testecleese: Yes, that's the whole point.
- 2:00:57Claire Rose Hill: Like, the test.
- 2:00:57Testecleese: One thing that we did is enlisted.
- 2:00:59Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, we need.
- 2:01:00Testecleese: Did you know the job or not?
- 2:01:02Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, and we need to, like, look at this…
- 2:01:05Claire Rose Hill: before, you know, people say he's racist or not, you need to seriously look at the situation, and problem is, is we can't tell who's the most capable client. No, capable fuck-freaking officer, who's got the most merit, the most awards, stuff like this.
- 2:01:19Brian McFadden: Go ahead.
- 2:01:19Claire Rose Hill: And people are just sitting there, just ragging on the military, or the Hegset, just because he's Hegseth. I mean, seriously.
- 2:01:28Testecleese: Well, they tried to not get Trump elected, because they said he had a Nazi tattoo.
- 2:01:33Testecleese: which turned out to be a Christian cross.
- 2:01:37Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:01:37Testecleese: Meanwhile, they elected the guy with the actual Nazi tattoo.
- 2:01:42Testecleese: So it… they'll say whatever the fuck they need to… they think they need to say to win.
- 2:01:48Claire Rose Hill: It's just… it's manipulation. This is why I'm getting…
- 2:01:53Testecleese: God.
- 2:01:54Testecleese: This is why I keep considering actually registering Republican, because then I can at least vote in the primary, too.
- 2:02:01Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, and the scary thing is, is, like, they accuse Trump of using things straight out of Hitler's playbook, but Hitler used Machiavelli a lot, and these people are Machiavellian as fuck.
- 2:02:14Testecleese: Oh, not just that, the fucking Nazis literally looked at the United States Democrat Party on how to decide if someone was Jewish or not. They looked at the black policy the Democrats had. They said, one drop black, you're black.
- 2:02:25Testecleese: Which we still use to this day, because they call Obama black.
- 2:02:30Testecleese: And he's 50% white.
- 2:02:33Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:02:35Testecleese: But they say, no, he's black. I'm like, no, he's a fucking mutt like everyone else.
- 2:02:40Testecleese: Why can't we all just be mutts? What's wrong with that, instead of a purebred?
- 2:02:46Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I have fun with it, too. I'm German, Irish, and Scottish. I don't know to buy myself a drink or kick my own ass.
- 2:02:52Testecleese: Yeah, it's funny, because the wife is, German, Irish, and, fuck.
- 2:02:59Testecleese: I want to say Slovakian, because she did one of them 23andMe tests, even though I was like, don't do that shit.
- 2:03:05Testecleese: Chinese are collecting your DNA to make it the next corona.
- 2:03:11Testecleese: But yeah, I was like, oh my god, I was like, you've been the most enslaved and the most enslaving people in history.
- 2:03:21Claire Rose Hill: Thank you.
- 2:03:21Testecleese: Yeah, well, it's a double-edged sword, isn't it?
- 2:03:26Testecleese: Yeah, I can actually trace my lineage back to a town In England.
- 2:03:34Testecleese: that actually still bears my family name, because my family came over on the Mayflower, and it became, you know, John of… whatever.
- 2:03:44Testecleese: And whatever is still a town in England.
- 2:03:48Testecleese: In, I think… yeah, it's in East Westchester, or something like that?
- 2:03:53Testecleese: Yeah, it's pretty cool, though. You know?
- 2:03:58Testecleese: Alright, so… Hagstaff is choosing, basically, my opinion.
- 2:04:05Testecleese: He's trying to make a decision who gets promoted, right?
- 2:04:08Claire Rose Hill: Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:04:09Testecleese: You guys kinda see, at least understand my argument.
- 2:04:13Claire Rose Hill: trust.
- 2:04:13Testecleese: Okay.
- 2:04:14Testecleese: Meanwhile, the Army has opened up, enlistment up to 42 years old, and everyone gets a marijuana waiver.
- 2:04:22Brian McFadden: Yep. There is no marijuana waiver anymore.
- 2:04:25Testecleese: That's what I'm saying, you don't… this… you don't need a waiver for marijuana use, or even a conviction for marijuana possession.
- 2:04:33Brian McFadden: I needed one when I joined the military.
- 2:04:37Testecleese: I did not, I just…
- 2:04:39Brian McFadden: lied.
- 2:04:41Testecleese: Well, I did DEP, Delayed Entry Program.
- 2:04:44Brian McFadden: It lied.
- 2:04:45Testecleese: Yes.
- 2:04:46Testecleese: And then… yes, but I was in debt for a year, preparing, because I was like, I'm… I just turned 21, I want to sign up, but I want to be 21.
- 2:04:57Testecleese: As a civilian, you know, like, let's do this whole milestone.
- 2:05:01Testecleese: And just didn't smoke pot for that year.
- 2:05:04Brian McFadden: That's a lot of times, Mona.
- 2:05:06Testecleese: I just started drinking beer, and look how that worked out for me.
- 2:05:13Testecleese: Alright.
- 2:05:15Testecleese: I'm making an effort to bring Cuba more into this conversation, because we keep overlooking Cuba.
- 2:05:23Testecleese: Looks like Cuba's about ready to make a deal.
- 2:05:27Testecleese: There you go.
- 2:05:27Brian McFadden: Power. They need oil and gas to power up their power plants, because they keep doing blackouts.
- 2:05:33Testecleese: Well, yeah, we're not just doing a,
- 2:05:36Testecleese: trade embargo, we're actually blockading Cuba, aren't we?
- 2:05:40Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 2:05:41Brian McFadden: Well, they were getting most of their… their oil.
- 2:05:45Testecleese: well.
- 2:05:45Brian McFadden: Venezuela, and we're not letting them do that anymore, so…
- 2:05:50Testecleese: But when was the last time we saw a real blockade in the world?
- 2:05:54Testecleese: I see Claire's gears grinding. He's like, an actual blockade. Ships sinking ships because they're bringing goods in. Maybe Palestine, but that wasn't really a blockade.
- 2:06:09Testecleese: Claire! Now Claire wants to know the answer.
- 2:06:13Brian McFadden: You're looking it up?
- 2:06:15Claire Rose Hill: Yes.
- 2:06:16Testecleese: But yeah, we don't… this isn't a thing that happens often, and we've cut fuel off everything. The island's a blackout, except for a handful of American-owned resorts with fuel.
- 2:06:28Brian McFadden: There's no American-owned resorts in Cuba.
- 2:06:30Testecleese: Yes, yeah, there's a handful of them.
- 2:06:33Testecleese: Actually, a whole bunch of lefties just went to Cuba, To show how great
- 2:06:39Testecleese: They are, I guess. And they actually made, like.
- 2:06:42Claire Rose Hill: By the definition of blockade.
- 2:06:44Testecleese: Yeah, that's a tough one.
- 2:06:45Claire Rose Hill: Duke Berlin blockade was the last time there was an actual blockade.
- 2:06:50Testecleese: Oh, the United States used to sink ships trying to bring goods into, Cuba, and now they're doing it again.
- 2:06:56Claire Rose Hill: Oh.
- 2:06:57Testecleese: How… is that not a blockade?
- 2:06:59Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, that actually does sound like it would fit the terms.
- 2:07:02Testecleese: Nothing in or out, right?
- 2:07:04Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:07:07Testecleese: But yeah, we just had a whole bunch of people go to Cuba. Hassan Piker was one of them.
- 2:07:12Claire Rose Hill: Oh, God.
- 2:07:13Brian McFadden: Oh, your girlfriend went to Cuba, too.
- 2:07:17Testecleese: Well, it's funny, because this video of this dude shaking food and having children dance for him before he fed them in the streets.
- 2:07:27Testecleese: And I was like, dude, that's just… that's terrible.
- 2:07:29Brian McFadden: Green energy girl that sailed around the world went to Cuba.
- 2:07:33Claire Rose Hill: Greta…
- 2:07:34Testecleese: Retta?
- 2:07:35Brian McFadden: Yeah!
- 2:07:37Testecleese: Yeah, you know what, Greta… Greta completely blew… took her mask off, didn't she? Yep.
- 2:07:44Brian McFadden: How'd you get to Cuba? Did she sail there?
- 2:07:48Testecleese: Not name that. She said, give Cuba back their oil they need it.
- 2:07:53Claire Rose Hill: For their revolution.
- 2:07:54Brian McFadden: He's a green energy person, I thought.
- 2:07:58Testecleese: Yeah, and she… but now she wants to oil back, and it's like, hold on, you told us all not to use oil.
- 2:08:03Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 2:08:04Testecleese: Why does Cuba need their oil back?
- 2:08:07Testecleese: Oh, cause people will die!
- 2:08:10Testecleese: Yeah! Now make that worldwide!
- 2:08:13Brian McFadden: Exactly.
- 2:08:14Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I'm sorry, Greta, but if you ever see this, how dare you!
- 2:08:20Testecleese: Oh my god, she, her He-Man haircut was such a mistake.
- 2:08:27Testecleese: You've seen the memes, haven't you?
- 2:08:29Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I like the memes.
- 2:08:31Testecleese: You know, it fit so good, too, didn't it?
- 2:08:36Claire Rose Hill: By the power of gray skull!
- 2:08:38Testecleese: Yeah.
- 2:08:40Testecleese: Brian doesn't do the memes, he doesn't get it.
- 2:08:43Brian McFadden: Well, I… I was all about the power of grayscale.
- 2:08:47Testecleese: No.
- 2:08:49Testecleese: There's pictures out there of He-Man with Greta's head on it with her new haircut, and it looks just like He-Man's hair.
- 2:08:58Brian McFadden: Are there any other articles on here you want to talk about?
- 2:09:00Testecleese: Oh, yeah, this is actually… I kinda wanna get through most of this foreign stuff. Alright.
- 2:09:07Testecleese: I can buzz through most of it, though.
- 2:09:09Brian McFadden: I'm dying.
- 2:09:09Testecleese: Yeah, a Colombian, military aircraft wrecked.
- 2:09:15Testecleese: I believe there's over 100 dead.
- 2:09:19Brian McFadden: This says dozens.
- 2:09:20Testecleese: Okay, I'm sorry. Well, yeah, this is an old report. No, no, it's still only gonna be dozens, because there's probably only, like, 36 guys on this aircraft.
- 2:09:29Testecleese: They were doing training ops, Fell out of the sky.
- 2:09:34Testecleese: No survivors.
- 2:09:36Brian McFadden: That's bad.
- 2:09:37Testecleese: Yeah, it's too bad.
- 2:09:39Testecleese: Oh, shit! Okay, we talked about that, that…
- 2:09:45Testecleese: wrestler who won a world championship in Iran who got executed publicly, right?
- 2:09:49Brian McFadden: Yep, we did.
- 2:09:51Testecleese: They hanged him by his neck until dead.
- 2:09:54Claire Rose Hill: Oh, wow.
- 2:09:57Brian McFadden: Wow.
- 2:09:57Testecleese: Liquid.
- 2:09:58Testecleese: Oh, because he protested against the Iranian regime.
- 2:10:03Testecleese: Iranian… Whatever they call it.
- 2:10:06Brian McFadden: Boy, not a good enough reason to kill somebody.
- 2:10:09Testecleese: Well, Iran has gone out and sent text messages directly to people saying, hey.
- 2:10:15Testecleese: You better watch what you're doing, you're next on the list.
- 2:10:19Brian McFadden: Wow.
- 2:10:19Testecleese: Actually coming from the government.
- 2:10:23Brian McFadden: Is there a government in Iran?
- 2:10:27Testecleese: The people sending you messages saying, we're gonna come execute you, I think you can trust well enough to think that they're actually gonna come and kill you.
- 2:10:36Brian McFadden: Thank God I don't live in Iran.
- 2:10:41Testecleese: Yeah.
- 2:10:41Claire Rose Hill: You and me, though.
- 2:10:44Testecleese: Oh, by the way, Claire, I bought a,
- 2:10:48Testecleese: the, Ruger Ameri- the American Generation 2308.
- 2:10:54Claire Rose Hill: Okay. Scouts, is it the,
- 2:10:56Testecleese: It's a Scout series, but it's way more current.
- 2:11:00Claire Rose Hill: Okay, nice.
- 2:11:02Testecleese: It's got a fluted barrel, so it weighs less. I put a Bushnell.
- 2:11:07Claire Rose Hill: Long eye relief scope on it.
- 2:11:11Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:11:11Testecleese: Oh my goodness. I'm still sighting it in, because I'm having a little bit of trouble.
- 2:11:16Brian McFadden: You've been saying that for weeks.
- 2:11:17Testecleese: No, I'm having… I think I'm having issues, anticipating the shot.
- 2:11:23Testecleese: And you know that, you know what that means, like, you're tense right before it fires.
- 2:11:27Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 2:11:29Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, that's…
- 2:11:31Testecleese: So I'm thinking maybe, release the tension on the trigger.
- 2:11:37Testecleese: So it fires…
- 2:11:38Claire Rose Hill: and better shooting habits.
- 2:11:40Testecleese: Yes, I understand that, but when I'm sighting it, I'm usually, smoking a cigarette and got a beer next to me.
- 2:11:48Testecleese: When I'm shooting a D.
- 2:11:50Brian McFadden: Because you're not smoking with weed.
- 2:11:51Testecleese: Well, I'm just saying, when I go out deer hunting, I'm not touching any of that.
- 2:11:57Testecleese: Maybe…
- 2:11:58Brian McFadden: Yeah, you got an air blind in your backyard now.
- 2:12:01Testecleese: Yeah, and I have a portable one, too.
- 2:12:05Testecleese: But yeah, I keep… I… and Grant, okay, check this out. 100 yards, I'm hitting, up, about an inch and a half, and to the right, about a half inch. Consistently.
- 2:12:17Testecleese: No matter how much I adjust my, sight.
- 2:12:22Claire Rose Hill: Okay, that tells me it's finger placement.
- 2:12:24Testecleese: Yeah, and that's the thing, is I'm hitting the same… I was like, it's still a kill shot.
- 2:12:30Testecleese: But…
- 2:12:32Testecleese: It just seems weird, you'd think adjusting the site would fix that. Maybe I just need to aim different instead.
- 2:12:39Claire Rose Hill: No, it's a finger placement on the trigger.
- 2:12:43Testecleese: It's… I got a… it's got a double trigger.
- 2:12:47Claire Rose Hill: Doesn't matter.
- 2:12:48Testecleese: It's got a seat.
- 2:12:49Testecleese: trigger.
- 2:12:49Claire Rose Hill: When you pull that trigger, your finger placement matters, because if your finger placement's off when you're pulling the trigger, it can cause your bullet to go up like that.
- 2:13:00Testecleese: Maybe, I'm typically using, past my la- Upwards of my first knuckle.
- 2:13:09Testecleese: By a couple millimeters, like, the tip of my finger… not the tip of my finger, but above that knuckle.
- 2:13:15Claire Rose Hill: Yeah. Oh, I can't.
- 2:13:16Testecleese: To actually squeeze. I know, everyone shoots different, right?
- 2:13:20Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, and I can't really help you unless I was actually there in the room, so…
- 2:13:25Testecleese: Yeah, and I'm actually tempted to just pull the bolt out and fire a laser down the barrel, then sight the scope into that, and then figure out how to hit that.
- 2:13:35Claire Rose Hill: There you go, that works.
- 2:13:36Brian McFadden: So, what does Iran declare as a non-hostile vessel?
- 2:13:42Testecleese: That's an excellent question. They're gonna allow non-hostile vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. Does that mean, basically, not a military vessel?
- 2:13:50Brian McFadden: I think they let, like, 10 oil tankers through…
- 2:13:54Testecleese: Hold on, those 10 oil tankers they gave to the United States…
- 2:13:59Brian McFadden: No, they didn't give them to the United States, they just let them through without blowing them up.
- 2:14:04Testecleese: No, I'm…
- 2:14:06Brian McFadden: I know that Trump came out and said it was a big, beautiful bill from.
- 2:14:11Testecleese: Alright, I thought they gave us the tankers, but maybe you're right, maybe they just let them through.
- 2:14:16Brian McFadden: I think it just… their gift to us was to let them through.
- 2:14:20Testecleese: Is that a gift, or is that a please don't blow more of us up?
- 2:14:24Claire Rose Hill: I would say that it's probably closer to the second one.
- 2:14:30Testecleese: I mean, they can't have much weaponry left, honestly, right?
- 2:14:35Brian McFadden: I mean, 86 Airborne is in the air.
- 2:14:38Brian McFadden: I mean…
- 2:14:39Testecleese: Yes.
- 2:14:39Brian McFadden: There are rumors going around that we're gonna take over the oil refinery Ireland this weekend.
- 2:14:48Testecleese: Kurtag, or Keurig, or Coffee Maker, or something?
- 2:14:55Brian McFadden: I mean, that will, that will, like, literally…
- 2:14:59Brian McFadden: shut down all the economic ability of Iran to produce any incoming income.
- 2:15:06Testecleese: Well, the 82nd…
- 2:15:08Testecleese: 82nd Airborne, by the way. Just so everyone understands, these guys get dropped out of fucking planes, okay?
- 2:15:15Brian McFadden: Huh?
- 2:15:16Claire Rose Hill: They are above average grunts.
- 2:15:18Testecleese: Yeah.
- 2:15:19Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 2:15:19Testecleese: 3… there's 3,000 of them, I think?
- 2:15:24Brian McFadden: And we got a Mew on the way, too, so…
- 2:15:27Testecleese: Yeah, and there's more Marines en route.
- 2:15:30Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 2:15:30Testecleese: And…
- 2:15:33Brian McFadden: So, I know Trump does not want to start a ground war with Iran, but.
- 2:15:38Testecleese: If you don't.
- 2:15:39Brian McFadden: The island is not gonna be, like, a ground war, you know? We're just gonna occupy the island and fuck you all.
- 2:15:47Testecleese: Yeah, if you don't want a grind war, don't send Marines.
- 2:15:50Testecleese: If you let those dogs off the leash versus what happened in.
- 2:15:54Brian McFadden: But they could back up once the 8-secondary Warren's on ground in… on the island. What happens when you throw the Marines on there, too, you know? It's back up…
- 2:16:05Testecleese: on there.
- 2:16:06Claire Rose Hill: End up broke, dead, or pregnant.
- 2:16:08Testecleese: Yes, exactly.
- 2:16:11Testecleese: But the Marines will show up, they'll take over the island, And granted.
- 2:16:15Brian McFadden: Taylor Warren?
- 2:16:16Testecleese: So, taking over… yes.
- 2:16:18Testecleese: Taking over and controlling are different.
- 2:16:21Testecleese: But once the 82nd takes over.
- 2:16:24Testecleese: Reinforcements come in immediately. Yeah. And they build a base. And boom, all of a sudden, you've got a fad missile system in the Strait of Hormuz.
- 2:16:34Brian McFadden: Nice.
- 2:16:35Brian McFadden: But we already have that with carriers and cruisers and destroyers.
- 2:16:41Testecleese: Yeah, but you gotta bring those guys home, versus your weapons staying there. You know what I mean? Like, you can leave the missiles on the island and change guys out, versus bringing the ship back and bringing in a new ship.
- 2:16:54Claire Rose Hill: And not to mention, I mean, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, every country over there that we do business with is operating pretty much,
- 2:17:02Claire Rose Hill: American-made, missile defense systems.
- 2:17:07Testecleese: True, and did you hear that, like.
- 2:17:10Testecleese: almost all of the Arab nations have decided to get involved in this. Oh, yeah.
- 2:17:14Claire Rose Hill: Everyone hits that one.
- 2:17:15Brian McFadden: But they want the U.S. to keep bombing.
- 2:17:18Testecleese: And NATO's like, oh, fuck this. And…
- 2:17:21Testecleese: And this is what gets me, is people will bring up how Trump's asking NATO to get involved, and like, NATO has no obligation, this doesn't apply to Article 13. It's like, correct. This has nothing to do with NATO. This is the United States asking its allies to help in a conflict.
- 2:17:39Brian McFadden: Right.
- 2:17:40Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:17:40Testecleese: Completely different.
- 2:17:42Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 2:17:43Testecleese: This is not Article 13, you're forced to fight.
- 2:17:46Brian McFadden: No.
- 2:17:48Testecleese: Meanwhile, what, Spain kicked us out of their country?
- 2:17:51Brian McFadden: No, they brought us back in.
- 2:17:52Testecleese: Yeah, exactly. England did similar stuff.
- 2:17:56Testecleese: anything to do with it until they got bombed.
- 2:18:00Testecleese: And now everyone's like, fucking wipe him off the planet, and we're like, we never wanted to wipe them out.
- 2:18:08Claire Rose Hill: Nope.
- 2:18:10Testecleese: Gas is getting expensive, though.
- 2:18:13Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, it is. It's gonna get a little.
- 2:18:14Brian McFadden: Well, Iran proved that they were lying to us all along.
- 2:18:18Brian McFadden: When they sent missiles to…
- 2:18:21Testecleese: to,
- 2:18:22Brian McFadden: Garcia.
- 2:18:23Testecleese: Yeah, this one surprised me, honestly.
- 2:18:26Testecleese: I didn't think they could hit Diego Garcia, and granted.
- 2:18:29Brian McFadden: If they can hit Diego Garcia, they can pretty much hit any European country.
- 2:18:34Testecleese: Yes. Yeah, well, Diego Garcia is off the, southern tip of, India.
- 2:18:39Brian McFadden: Indian Ocean.
- 2:18:42Brian McFadden: If they can eat… Been there, done that.
- 2:18:44Testecleese: Yeah, if they can hit Diego Garcia, they can hit London.
- 2:18:48Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 2:18:49Testecleese: They can hit Windsor Keep.
- 2:18:52Testecleese: And you would think that alone would be enough for fucking the United Kingdom to wake up and realize that they could be hit by a…
- 2:18:58Testecleese: an ICBM from Iran.
- 2:19:02Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:19:05Testecleese: But again, NATO's not getting involved, but everyone around there…
- 2:19:10Brian McFadden: Needs a good ball.
- 2:19:11Testecleese: Yeah, it's like, no, this has to be stopped. All they do is just… and they're just attacking wildly.
- 2:19:17Testecleese: It's almost as if they have no guidance system at all.
- 2:19:20Brian McFadden: I don't think they do anymore.
- 2:19:21Testecleese: And it just lands where the fuck it lands.
- 2:19:24Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 2:19:25Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, these guidance systems that they're using are subpar at best.
- 2:19:29Testecleese: Something I could make in my garage, honestly, the way it's working.
- 2:19:33Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, well, I mean, most of their stuff is pretty much, like, 1950s era stuff.
- 2:19:37Testecleese: Really, stuff I could do at Radio Shack.
- 2:19:40Claire Rose Hill: Yeah. And .
- 2:19:41Testecleese: So I could do this myself.
- 2:19:43Claire Rose Hill: The most advanced things that they've got are the drones, and even those are subpar by U.S. standards. Like, you could get.
- 2:19:49Testecleese: I thought they had Russian tech, or are they still using, Soviet stuff?
- 2:19:53Claire Rose Hill: No, for their drone tech, it's.
- 2:19:56Testecleese: Oh, the drones! The drones is actually impressive.
- 2:19:59Testecleese: But they have an interesting idea with their drones.
- 2:20:03Claire Rose Hill: Their drones are okay.
- 2:20:05Claire Rose Hill: When it comes to the market. Their missiles are just a hodgepodge of Chinese and Russian parts that they fashion together in their own freaking, garages.
- 2:20:16Testecleese: At that point, if you could take these parts and put them together and make them work, you'd do better to make your own.
- 2:20:22Claire Rose Hill: They've been trying to for years. They've been trying to for years. They've got several, what they call, homegrown, which is just, they buy parts from other people and make them in their own area, but…
- 2:20:36Testecleese: Fucking Iran.
- 2:20:39Testecleese: Oh!
- 2:20:42Testecleese: One more thing before we go.
- 2:20:46Testecleese: I wanna bring up that, I'm starting to understand…
- 2:20:51Testecleese: Why people might crawl up onto a rooftop with a high-powered rifle.
- 2:20:57Claire Rose Hill: Oh, dear God.
- 2:20:59Brian McFadden: It's so good.
- 2:21:01Testecleese: I think it was in, New York. I'm not sure.
- 2:21:06Testecleese: But there's videos of people cheering, of the caskets being brought home, of our soldiers.
- 2:21:15Claire Rose Hill: Okay, yep, I'm starting to understand your point of… your point.
- 2:21:19Testecleese: And it, I'm… yeah, I'm starting to understand why people might do this.
- 2:21:25Testecleese: And the problem is, I keep hearing how progressive these, dickheads are, right?
- 2:21:30Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 2:21:31Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:21:32Testecleese: This shit was, oh my god, what year is it?
- 2:21:37Testecleese: almost 70 years ago, in Vietnam, that we got over spitting on soldiers for the job they were… they had to go do. You don't blame the soldier, right?
- 2:21:46Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:21:47Testecleese: And now you're celebrating… it's one thing to spit on a soldier and call him a baby killer, it's another thing to celebrate their death.
- 2:21:55Testecleese: Fuck you.
- 2:21:56Testecleese: Fuck your couch.
- 2:22:02Testecleese: I'm sorry, that just… That one really gets me to no ends. You're a douchebag.
- 2:22:10Testecleese: You don't deserve to be here.
- 2:22:13Testecleese: And honestly, if you're… if you are saying that, good, fuck, kill the soldiers, no cops, no police, yadda yadda yadda, then I can fucking shoot you in the head, and who the fuck is gonna stop me?
- 2:22:26Brian McFadden: Nobody.
- 2:22:28Testecleese: Who's gonna hold me to justice, you know?
- 2:22:31Testecleese: If we play by these assholes' rules.
- 2:22:36Testecleese: Sorry, Claire, just… this is why I moved fuck out here.
- 2:22:40Claire Rose Hill: You're fine. No, I live in a… I live in, like, the only red county in the state, so…
- 2:22:45Brian McFadden: Nice.
- 2:22:46Testecleese: Yeah, oh.
- 2:22:47Testecleese: Illinois, the most gerrymandered state there is.
- 2:22:51Brian McFadden: Juice is more gerrymandered.
- 2:22:53Testecleese: Well, no, they just did it so well so long ago, but have you seen the map in Illinois?
- 2:22:58Claire Rose Hill: Oh yeah, I still live in the only red county, though.
- 2:23:01Testecleese: Yeah, it looks like frickin'…
- 2:23:02Claire Rose Hill: in a state.
- 2:23:03Brian McFadden: She chose it over.
- 2:23:04Testecleese: the noodles.
- 2:23:06Testecleese: Massachusetts perfected it.
- 2:23:09Claire Rose Hill: I honestly think that big cities should know… should be counted as their own separate entities for the sake of the Electoral College at this point in time in my life.
- 2:23:16Testecleese: Browns is a big city.
- 2:23:19Brian McFadden: Chicago, Detroit.
- 2:23:20Testecleese: No, but that's not a good answer. A million people?
- 2:23:23Claire Rose Hill: I'd say once you start.
- 2:23:25Testecleese: 100,000 people.
- 2:23:27Claire Rose Hill: I'd say once you start crossing over into, like, 2 million.
- 2:23:30Claire Rose Hill: Or over a million. You need to count as your own separate entity and have no.
- 2:23:34Testecleese: Boston wouldn't count, then.
- 2:23:36Brian McFadden: Nope.
- 2:23:36Claire Rose Hill: Huh?
- 2:23:37Testecleese: Boston wouldn't count.
- 2:23:39Brian McFadden: Most big cities wouldn't know.
- 2:23:41Claire Rose Hill: Okay.
- 2:23:42Testecleese: Boston… Boston only has, like, 600,000 people on a… in a particularly good year.
- 2:23:50Testecleese: Granted, Boston's not a huge city, either.
- 2:23:54Brian McFadden: They think they are.
- 2:23:55Testecleese: Well, they're still a giant economic hub in the world.
- 2:24:00Testecleese: Especially in, research and development, and medicine.
- 2:24:04Testecleese: Especially medicine.
- 2:24:06Claire Rose Hill: And I know, maybe, maybe capita, population per capita of the state, if it crosses over a certain threshold.
- 2:24:13Testecleese: Well, just per capita income. Once, once this city hits per capita income, because then you don't get…
- 2:24:20Testecleese: New York City… oh, here we go, perfect example. Boston, you have to make,
- 2:24:27Testecleese: $108,000 a year… no, I'm sorry. You have to pay $98,000 a year for rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Boston.
- 2:24:37Claire Rose Hill: Jesus.
- 2:24:38Testecleese: Yes!
- 2:24:39Brian McFadden: I'm not willing to either.
- 2:24:41Testecleese: It's like, dude, in, like, 4 years at that rate, I would own a really nice house out in the burbs, right?
- 2:24:48Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:24:49Testecleese: And that… maybe that would keep… These areas are becoming hyperinflated.
- 2:24:55Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:24:56Testecleese: And A, even better, then you force people to take the fucking train into town to go to work.
- 2:25:01Testecleese: Instead of driving.
- 2:25:03Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, but I think against, like, gerrymandering and keeping, you know, power in the state… in the state's hands, like, when… to people that own power, like, we need to take a look at big cities and start counting them as their own separate entities, because California's got a lot of red areas that are just dominated by the fucking big cities.
- 2:25:22Claire Rose Hill: we… Fuckin' Illinois.
- 2:25:25Testecleese: Again, Massachusetts.
- 2:25:27Claire Rose Hill: Message.
- 2:25:28Testecleese: Here's another perfect example. 40% voted Republican.
- 2:25:32Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:25:32Testecleese: They're 100% represented by Democrats.
- 2:25:36Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, and then you have,
- 2:25:38Claire Rose Hill: Like, New York, I know, is really freaking.
- 2:25:43Testecleese: Yeah, New York City makes the decision for the entire state.
- 2:25:46Claire Rose Hill: Yeah.
- 2:25:49Testecleese: Yeah, and maybe we need to look at it the way we do this again, but the problem is there's no way you can make a significant change at this point. You know as well as I, you can only do tiny changes at this point in our history.
- 2:26:01Claire Rose Hill: Yeah, I know.
- 2:26:02Claire Rose Hill: It sucks.
- 2:26:03Testecleese: It's wild.
- 2:26:03Claire Rose Hill: I mean, we're talking in hypotheticals, but…
- 2:26:05Testecleese: Meanwhile, the United Kingdom's looking to abolish the House of Lords that's been there for 700 years.
- 2:26:11Claire Rose Hill: Oh.
- 2:26:11Brian McFadden: We talked about this on the last show, and… I know.
- 2:26:14Brian McFadden: Repeat offender said that's not really a thing.
- 2:26:18Testecleese: It's happening.
- 2:26:20Testecleese: And I had just… I had just asked him.
- 2:26:23Testecleese: What if people want to get rid of this?
- 2:26:25Brian McFadden: We've only had that as an article in this thing.
- 2:26:28Testecleese: I know, it was just because we were talking about this and that, but anyway…
- 2:26:31Brian McFadden: R.
- 2:26:32Testecleese: Anyway, that is our show.
- 2:26:33Audio shared by Testecleese: Hallelujah.
- 2:26:37Audio shared by Testecleese: I'm gonna pull this shit off.
- 2:26:40Audio shared by Testecleese: Pinch it! Pinch it good!
