- 0:02Speaker 2: Uh huh, I shure will come on it. Everybody you
- 0:06Speaker 2: are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now
- 0:10Speaker 2: one and on it.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I want to share something with you that I had
- 0:19Speaker 2: to come to the realization one time and even in
- 0:22Speaker 2: the reinvention of myself right now, I've had to come
- 0:25Speaker 2: to that and I want to.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Share it with you today. Give it to you.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I want to tell you about something that a lot
- 0:32Speaker 2: of people do in their life and I want you
- 0:35Speaker 2: to be aware of it. Here it is, don't get
- 0:39Speaker 2: stuck on yourself. You could be wrong.
- 0:42Speaker 1: You know. I said, don't get stuck on yourself. You
- 0:52Speaker 1: could be wrong. You know. The reason I'm saying this.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Is because people have a tendency to once they make
- 1:04Speaker 2: a decision about something, or once they decide to go
- 1:08Speaker 2: a certain path, they go against all everything, anything anybody says,
- 1:15Speaker 2: anything anybody might do, any other ruling they may come across.
- 1:22Speaker 2: They shun advice, they don't listen to counsel. They just
- 1:30Speaker 2: not made the decision. I'm gonna do it anyway. Don't
- 1:36Speaker 2: get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong, you know.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Now here's a sure fire way to tell if you're wrong.
- 1:47Speaker 2: If you don't see any movement in the direction you've chosen,
- 1:55Speaker 2: if you don't see anything going right in that decision,
- 2:02Speaker 2: if you feel as though you're in a rut, if
- 2:07Speaker 2: the wall you're climbing seems so insurmountable that you ain't
- 2:13Speaker 2: even moving an inch, and every time you turn around
- 2:17Speaker 2: you keep getting knocked by down, knocked back down.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Don't get stuck on yourself. You know you could be wrong.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You know.
- 2:24Speaker 2: See, that's why it's important for people to always be
- 2:28Speaker 2: open to the reinvention of yourself. You know, you cannot
- 2:33Speaker 2: be afraid to reinvent yourself. In other words, you can't
- 2:39Speaker 2: be afraid to change. Change is necessary when it comes
- 2:43Speaker 2: to growth. There is no growth without change. The more
- 2:50Speaker 2: you know, the older you look, that is no growth
- 2:56Speaker 2: without change. If you're heading in a direction, it ain't
- 2:59Speaker 2: nothing going right in your life. Could it be the
- 3:01Speaker 2: wrong direction? If you're climbing and you're making no headway,
- 3:07Speaker 2: could it be the wrong direction?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Could you have possibly made the wrong choice.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Don't get stuck on yourself cause you done made the
- 3:15Speaker 2: wrong suf It's okay to forgive yourself. It's okay, to
- 3:18Speaker 2: let yourself off the hook. It's even smarter sometimes to
- 3:22Speaker 2: admit that you were wrong. You ever met somebody ain't
- 3:25Speaker 2: ever wrong. Have you ever met somebody you talk to?
- 3:29Speaker 2: They ain't ever wrong about nothing. Man, They just it's
- 3:32Speaker 2: they way or the highway. It's this is my way,
- 3:35Speaker 2: this is the I know people like that, stuck on
- 3:38Speaker 2: them power trips and all like that. You know what
- 3:40Speaker 2: I had to learn how to do. I had to
- 3:42Speaker 2: learn how to let them go on them power trips.
- 3:45Speaker 2: But listen to this. Though you're not taking me on
- 3:47Speaker 2: that trip. Though you going on that trip by yourself,
- 3:50Speaker 2: I'm going in the right direction.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I've decided to stop the way.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Okay, listen to this person. This person I decided to
- 4:00Speaker 2: doing business the way I was doing business. I decided
- 4:04Speaker 2: to stop to allow business being done around me the
- 4:08Speaker 2: way business was being done around me. You know, the
- 4:11Speaker 2: best decision I made was to allow for God to
- 4:17Speaker 2: have some say so and to offer me his direction.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I have found him to be a better driver than
- 4:25Speaker 2: anyone else I know. I have found him to know
- 4:29Speaker 2: more about the man he made than anybody else who's
- 4:35Speaker 2: merely associating with me. I have found it to be
- 4:39Speaker 2: a fact that my maker knows more about the vehicle
- 4:43Speaker 2: he created than does anybody else. If your Chevy break,
- 4:48Speaker 2: don't you take it to Chevy. You don't take your
- 4:51Speaker 2: Forward when it breaks down to a Toyota dealership. They
- 4:55Speaker 2: not gonna know everything that the Forward dealership would know
- 4:58Speaker 2: about the vehicle. You know why, because they're not the
- 5:01Speaker 2: maker of it. So now, why are you letting? You're
- 5:05Speaker 2: letting your life being led, controlled and guided by somebody
- 5:10Speaker 2: other than your maker. I'm just asking you to let's
- 5:14Speaker 2: all take a common sense look at this. So if
- 5:17Speaker 2: going to your maker is the best way, the best
- 5:20Speaker 2: decision I made in my business was take over my
- 5:23Speaker 2: brand myself and to allow the maker of this brand.
- 5:28Speaker 2: See without God, I'm none of this. I'm none of this.
- 5:31Speaker 2: I want you to clearly understand I ain't none of
- 5:34Speaker 2: this without him. I wish I could have the guts
- 5:38Speaker 2: to reach back there and pat myself on the back
- 5:41Speaker 2: for what I've accomplished in my life.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I wish I had the guts.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I wish the nerve of me because I know for
- 5:49Speaker 2: a fact that there is no way that I could
- 5:52Speaker 2: have manufactured the life that I have.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I could not even have thought of it.
- 5:57Speaker 2: It's no way I could have told you that this
- 5:59Speaker 2: was the route I was gonna take and this is
- 6:01Speaker 2: the outcome because of it.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I had no idea, no clue.
- 6:06Speaker 2: The one thing I had, though, was an unshakable faith
- 6:10Speaker 2: in God. I had an un and I just kept
- 6:15Speaker 2: believing in him. I kept believing that he had something
- 6:19Speaker 2: more for me. And then when I touched base with
- 6:22Speaker 2: him and asked him to show me what it is
- 6:24Speaker 2: what he had for me, tada.
- 6:26Speaker 1: The magic show began. Because you know what he did.
- 6:30Speaker 2: He took all my natural abilities that he had given
- 6:33Speaker 2: to me, This gift that he gave me, that he
- 6:36Speaker 2: poured into me at birth, that same gift that he
- 6:39Speaker 2: poured into you at birth. The moment you go to
- 6:42Speaker 2: him and let him show you that gift, and then
- 6:45Speaker 2: guess what. Once he takes what he naturally put in
- 6:49Speaker 2: you and put his super his superpowers on top of that,
- 6:53Speaker 2: then you have some supernatural things going on in your life.
- 6:56Speaker 2: And you may not be feeling me. I'm cool with that,
- 7:02Speaker 2: but I done have some supernatural things happen to me.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Every day I wake up some supernatural the man, the
- 7:10Speaker 2: rewards of my life, the awards of my life, the accomplishments,
- 7:15Speaker 2: the how I'm working, the how I manage it all,
- 7:18Speaker 2: all that ain't nothing but God. That ain't nothing but God.
- 7:21Speaker 2: You can't even explain this schedule to people. Sometimes when
- 7:24Speaker 2: people ask me, Steve, how do you do it? I go, well,
- 7:26Speaker 2: this is what I manage my time. Then at the
- 7:28Speaker 2: end of when I get through, I say, hey, man,
- 7:30Speaker 2: you know what I need to tell y'all for real?
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's God. I don't really know, but I'm letting him
- 7:35Speaker 2: manage me. So he handling it. He ain't gonna put
- 7:37Speaker 2: no more of me than I can bear. Listen to me, y'all,
- 7:40Speaker 2: don't be afraid to reinvent yourself and remember this. Don't
- 7:44Speaker 2: get stuck on yourself because you could be wrong. You know,
- 7:49Speaker 2: you absolutely could be wrong. If you don't tie this
- 7:53Speaker 2: to your gift, you will be struggling the rest of
- 7:57Speaker 2: your life.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Moore Rning Show.
