- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with that of Tilly and Tanya rad and
- 0:03Speaker 1: iHeartRadio and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hello Everybody, we are scrubbing in.
- 0:15Speaker 3: It's tills and yeah and the scrubbing in PAD.
- 0:20Speaker 4: I like that one.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you well. I heard that you did
- 0:24Speaker 2: scrub it up. Dub all was gone? I did? Did
- 0:27Speaker 2: it feel good? Helt so good? I think we just
- 0:29Speaker 2: bring it back.
- 0:30Speaker 5: No, No, I like changing it up. It's tills and
- 0:33Speaker 5: yeah and the scrubbing in pad.
- 0:35Speaker 2: So do we go back to where I'm saying, Hello everybody,
- 0:38Speaker 2: we're scrubbing in, and then that's your jingle or we okay,
- 0:42Speaker 2: you still get the whole intro ye yourself, you still
- 0:45Speaker 2: get whatever you got. All I say is we're scrubbing
- 0:47Speaker 2: in and then you do a whole jingle. Whole jingle?
- 0:51Speaker 2: All right, since they took that away from you. It's
- 0:54Speaker 2: not a battle I care about enough weak yeah me
- 1:00Speaker 2: while I'm down? Yeah, and I have been down.
- 1:03Speaker 3: That was submitted by a scrubber.
- 1:04Speaker 5: By the way, I wish I could give her credit,
- 1:06Speaker 5: but I did not screenshot her Instagram handle, but it
- 1:09Speaker 5: was DM to me.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I should have known. Oh yeah, but I.
- 1:13Speaker 5: Was like, maybe this will be cute if people just
- 1:14Speaker 5: keep sending me and I'll just switch it up every week,
- 1:16Speaker 5: so you never know what you're gonna get.
- 1:18Speaker 3: You know, it's not gonna be predictable.
- 1:19Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 1:19Speaker 3: It's not gonna be predictable anymore.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I know. I'm curious if our if the scrubbers like
- 1:26Speaker 2: the change up, or if they like a consistency.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Well, I feel like.
- 1:30Speaker 5: The general consensus was the scrub a dub dub and
- 1:32Speaker 5: the tub tub tub was random because like, well.
- 1:35Speaker 2: In the tub a tub tub I think was random,
- 1:37Speaker 2: scrub a dub dub I think was okay.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Yeah, so if I make it less random, I think
- 1:42Speaker 5: more people will enjoy.
- 1:43Speaker 2: All right, well why not try? If not you, if
- 1:47Speaker 2: not here where? If not now?
- 1:49Speaker 5: When I'm saying yeah, yeah, and that's what we're here
- 1:53Speaker 5: to do. You know, we're here to please and also
- 1:56Speaker 5: to be ourselves.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Mm hm, except a hybrid to yourself, except when they
- 2:02Speaker 2: demand to switch up.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yes, exactly exactly, So here we are.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I do I'm okay, I'm okay.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:11Speaker 2: It's been two weeks of a sickness that literally will
- 2:14Speaker 2: not go away. Some people said they've had it for
- 2:18Speaker 2: a month, so it's called well sinusidis, which feels like
- 2:24Speaker 2: a Pixar sickness, Like it feels like made up sinusidis
- 2:29Speaker 2: doesn't feel like a real thing. But I don't I'm
- 2:33Speaker 2: not sure what happened, Like at some point I got
- 2:35Speaker 2: something either a flu or cold, and then it turned
- 2:40Speaker 2: into something worse or I don't know if it's been
- 2:42Speaker 2: sinus that. I don't know how this works, but I
- 2:45Speaker 2: immediately I'm not someone who like sits in pain and
- 2:47Speaker 2: waits for it to go away. I'm not trying natural remedies.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I'm like that's me. Yeah, if I feel bad, I
- 2:52Speaker 2: go to urgent Like, I'm immediately going to Urgent Care, like,
- 2:55Speaker 2: give me something to kick this. So I immediately they
- 3:00Speaker 2: tested me for strap, COVID, all the things. I literally
- 3:04Speaker 2: straight up was like, can you just give me medicine,
- 3:06Speaker 2: an antibiotic, a Z pack whatever. He's like no, He's like,
- 3:10Speaker 2: you're just sick. You just need to rest. Yeah, take
- 3:13Speaker 2: advil if you're having pain in your throat. I was
- 3:16Speaker 2: so angry, like what's I sat and waited.
- 3:18Speaker 5: For this long for what to know that you didn't
- 3:21Speaker 5: have strap throat or COVID.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah. I was there for medicine, okay, or the meds.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So I go home. I'm like, okay, I just gotta
- 3:30Speaker 2: beat this out. Haley's weirdly cocky about not getting this,
- 3:34Speaker 2: like she's so certain she's not gonna get it. She's
- 3:37Speaker 2: getting close to me or sleeping in the same bed.
- 3:40Speaker 2: She's not really keeping her space. That's what I do too. Yeah,
- 3:45Speaker 2: but she was so like, my body feels so strong.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I went down on a Monday night. Saturday, she goes
- 3:52Speaker 2: out on a shopping adventure. She comes home and she's like,
- 3:55Speaker 2: I just feel so heavy. I said, I'm on day
- 4:02Speaker 2: six and I'm not feeling great, so good luck. Yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 2: So it's been a journey. But for the worst part
- 4:10Speaker 2: of mine, she was able to really help me with
- 4:12Speaker 2: like Phoebe and take care of me, which was lovely
- 4:15Speaker 2: because I could barely get out of bed. And then
- 4:19Speaker 2: I was able to return the favor. And then I
- 4:22Speaker 2: went to the e n T because I wasn't getting better,
- 4:25Speaker 2: and she made her appointment and I was like, am
- 4:29Speaker 2: I okay. Everyone kept saying look out for pneumonia. I
- 4:33Speaker 2: was panicking. She didn't scope up my nose, like checked
- 4:36Speaker 2: everything she was like, it's just sinusiitis. Was like, come again,
- 4:41Speaker 2: something wish? So did she give you something? No, well,
- 4:44Speaker 2: she give me a steroid for inflammation because obviously I
- 4:47Speaker 2: had still sound pretty inflamed. I thought you were in anabiotics.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I tried. I did an antibiotic, but it didn't really
- 4:54Speaker 2: do kick anything. So I don't I think it was
- 4:57Speaker 2: isn't it ra If it's viral, it's not. Antibiotics don't
- 5:00Speaker 2: work or something. Anyways, I don't know, but I tried everything.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I had everything in my body. I had every medicine
- 5:06Speaker 2: that had any symptom listed on the box that it
- 5:09Speaker 2: would help. I tried it. Probably things I shouldn't have mixed,
- 5:14Speaker 2: but I did what I did. And so yeah, and
- 5:18Speaker 2: I literally it's been fourteen days and I still sound
- 5:21Speaker 2: like this, and I'm still like I wouldn't say I'm
- 5:25Speaker 2: one hundred percent, but I don't feel like the contagious
- 5:27Speaker 2: feeling goes even before you got here.
- 5:29Speaker 5: He goes, are you feel concerned about backa to day?
- 5:32Speaker 5: I was like, what do you mean?
- 5:34Speaker 3: And he's like, I know, like you're weird about germs
- 5:36Speaker 3: and I was like, oh yeah, I was like.
- 5:37Speaker 5: But I'm pretty sure she's not ambatics, so like, I
- 5:39Speaker 5: feel pretty chill about her being in here now.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Docter said, I'm not contagious. She was like, you're not
- 5:43Speaker 2: contagious anymore. But if you had so long, I feel
- 5:45Speaker 2: like it's gotta be dormant.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Gotta be by now.
- 5:48Speaker 2: But maybe I rekicked it, maybe it started up again.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Your eyes don't look so good.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Oh, that's what Haley told me. She goes, you have
- 5:55Speaker 2: sickness behind your eye. You know, it's like, dang, I
- 5:57Speaker 2: think it's just they're just blue. No, No, they're not good. Really. Yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I think it's just like you haven't seen me in
- 6:07Speaker 2: a minute, and.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Then there's sickness behind those eyes.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I think they look fine.
- 6:12Speaker 1: But sickness behind your eyes is such a poetic way
- 6:15Speaker 1: to say you look sick.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it is in the eyes, Like there's something in
- 6:19Speaker 5: the eyes. Like I could see it in myself too,
- 6:21Speaker 5: like when I'm like.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Sorry, when I had it, really had it, I could
- 6:24Speaker 2: see it in my eyes. Yeah, but I've gotten so
- 6:26Speaker 2: used to pressure behind my eyes that it's just the
- 6:30Speaker 2: normal feeling at this point. Anyways, do you know what
- 6:34Speaker 2: took me down? I think what so two weeks ago,
- 6:38Speaker 2: I do the podcast with Susie. Oh no, and no,
- 6:41Speaker 2: not Susie. I go afterwards. I was like, I really
- 6:44Speaker 2: need to get my nails done. So I go to
- 6:45Speaker 2: this new salon, new nail salon, because my normal girl
- 6:49Speaker 2: couldn't take me, and I had the idea that I
- 6:51Speaker 2: needed to get my nails done, so I wanted. I
- 6:54Speaker 2: get a lot of anxiety going to a nail salon
- 6:56Speaker 2: where I'm like, new, no, the tie of it, how
- 7:00Speaker 2: long it takes. I feel trapped. So I wanted a
- 7:03Speaker 2: pedicure and manicure at the same time. So the girl
- 7:06Speaker 2: starts with my toes. No one comes over to do
- 7:08Speaker 2: my hands. I'm like, this isn't great, this is I'm
- 7:11Speaker 2: gonna be here for a long time. The girl that
- 7:14Speaker 2: does my nails moved like the sloth in Zootopia. I
- 7:20Speaker 2: Am not kidding. Every move could have been. She had
- 7:24Speaker 2: a mask one.
- 7:25Speaker 6: Oh a lot of I know, but she was like,
- 7:28Speaker 6: she seemed very ill, yes, and she was moving like
- 7:34Speaker 6: she would grab my finger and like in her touch
- 7:38Speaker 6: was so light and gentle that it made me feel
- 7:40Speaker 6: more anxious.
- 7:41Speaker 2: And I'm not kidding. I thought I was. It was
- 7:43Speaker 2: my first time. I thought I was going to have
- 7:45Speaker 2: an anxiety attack. I was having to talk myself down
- 7:47Speaker 2: and be like, you have nowhere to be. Life is great.
- 7:51Speaker 2: How luxurious that you get to come midday and get
- 7:53Speaker 2: a manicure pedicure. I jetted out of there. I think
- 7:58Speaker 2: it dropped my system, the anxiety and stress of sitting there.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I'm not kidding like I think it like lowered my
- 8:06Speaker 2: like fight, we.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Gotta we gotta beef you up. Girl, You're like Sonny,
- 8:12Speaker 3: a little chicken running around.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I'm never sick.
- 8:15Speaker 5: No, I'm just saying, we gotta beef up your your Yeah, no,
- 8:20Speaker 5: I don't.
- 8:20Speaker 2: There's something there. I got like in my head. You
- 8:22Speaker 2: know when you get in your you know when you
- 8:24Speaker 2: get in your head about something. Have you ever done that? Yeah?
- 8:28Speaker 3: I'm not doing it anymore because I'm in my soft
- 8:30Speaker 3: Girl era, So you can't.
- 8:32Speaker 2: That's Shania's newest thing, her soft Girl era, which is
- 8:35Speaker 2: just massage, is an acupuncture apparently.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Very soft.
- 8:40Speaker 2: So what is what is soft Girl era? What is
- 8:43Speaker 2: it for? And what does it mean?
- 8:46Speaker 5: So I've been told that when you are TTCING being calm,
- 8:53Speaker 5: it's TTC trying to conceive. Oh you're supposed to be
- 8:58Speaker 5: calm and zen like.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Stress is very bad.
- 9:02Speaker 5: So I've entered my soft girl era and she's doing
- 9:07Speaker 5: acupuncture and she is chilling. Can't rattle me. Don't try
- 9:13Speaker 5: and stress me out because it's not gonna work. I've
- 9:16Speaker 5: gone on my natural nail journey. There there's one layer
- 9:22Speaker 5: of polish I'm in, like the phase one of it.
- 9:24Speaker 5: You have to like phase out because she said for
- 9:26Speaker 5: three months, it's gonna look kind.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Of like rough. Three months.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Yeah, until like I guess your nail grows back or something.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Oh I get a real nail. Oh wow. Okay, So
- 9:34Speaker 2: we're transitioning. Yeah, new era, new era, you're following the
- 9:39Speaker 2: Ali Grant program.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Chill Vibes over here worked for her.
- 9:45Speaker 5: It did.
- 9:46Speaker 2: He's so cute. I miss him. I'm like, I if
- 9:49Speaker 2: you heard me, you would be so upset if I
- 9:51Speaker 2: came over right now. You don't understand. Yeah, So it's
- 9:56Speaker 2: you know, and then Brittany had her baby. Everyone's just
- 10:00Speaker 2: good times, good.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Times, all right.
- 10:02Speaker 2: So soft care girl era is has begun, has begun,
- 10:06Speaker 2: and it just includes no stress. Yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 1: How do you deal with incoming stress though, because that's
- 10:12Speaker 1: something you can't control, such as that's a great that's
- 10:16Speaker 1: a great example.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Yeah, like I don't know.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You get to you get a call from work they
- 10:21Speaker 1: want a lot of stuff done at the last minute.
- 10:24Speaker 1: You have then your car breaks down, Like how are
- 10:28Speaker 1: you going to handle all this stuff compounding?
- 10:31Speaker 4: You just let it roll off your back.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I'll tell you something.
- 10:34Speaker 5: So we were in uh Salt Lake City, Utah this
- 10:39Speaker 5: weekend and I went for a little uh water ski
- 10:44Speaker 5: session and I was cruising all my skis because I've
- 10:49Speaker 5: done it a ton of before, so I knew what
- 10:50Speaker 5: I was doing. And I'm like chilling, I'm cruising. I'm like,
- 10:53Speaker 5: I got this. I was doing it so much, and
- 10:54Speaker 5: I was like, let me try the wakeboard.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I want to.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Like my step son was doing it for the first
- 10:59Speaker 5: I think it was his, so I didn't want to.
- 11:00Speaker 5: I wanted to show him, like it's cool to try
- 11:02Speaker 5: new things.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 11:05Speaker 5: I get the wakeboard and I'm like a left handed
- 11:09Speaker 5: so I never know if I'm supposed to do like
- 11:10Speaker 5: left foot first, right foot first. I'm like, goofy, not goofy,
- 11:13Speaker 5: Like I can do ambidextrius, Like I don't.
- 11:16Speaker 3: I could do either way.
- 11:17Speaker 5: So I was like, I don't know which way to lead,
- 11:18Speaker 5: so I was clearly doing it the wrong way, and
- 11:20Speaker 5: I just eat it like full blown face plant into
- 11:24Speaker 5: the water like thirty miles per hour the boat's going.
- 11:28Speaker 5: I thought I broke my teeth. I thought I broke
- 11:31Speaker 5: my neck. And I was trying, I like tried really
- 11:34Speaker 5: hard to be calm because I didn't want to like
- 11:36Speaker 5: scare my steps on into like doing anything, and they
- 11:40Speaker 5: like ride the thing around, grab the broat.
- 11:42Speaker 3: I'm like, no, no, I'm good, I'm gonna come in.
- 11:43Speaker 5: I'm done.
- 11:43Speaker 3: I'm done, I'm done done. And I was like checking
- 11:46Speaker 3: my teeth to make sure that they were they were
- 11:47Speaker 3: all intact, and.
- 11:50Speaker 5: Uh, the next day, I could like barely like move
- 11:53Speaker 5: my neck like left and right. And apparently, I guess
- 11:57Speaker 5: when you get into like a water accident, your body
- 11:59Speaker 5: is like spasms. Like it's like almost like getting in
- 12:01Speaker 5: like a minor car accident, your body just like spasms.
- 12:04Speaker 5: So everything gets like really really tight. So those on
- 12:06Speaker 5: needed stress on my body that I.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Did not need.
- 12:09Speaker 5: And I am doing acupuncture to relieve the stress on
- 12:15Speaker 5: my body. And I will not be doing extreme sports anymore.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Ever again and just for now, okay.
- 12:21Speaker 5: In my softwirl era in my softwarell era. She's walking.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Well, isn't it like if you hit water at a
- 12:28Speaker 2: certain speed, it's like hitting cement something. Yeah, it was crazy.
- 12:33Speaker 2: What would you have done if all your teeth fell off?
- 12:35Speaker 5: Because I have one fake tooth right here. So I
- 12:37Speaker 5: was like that one's for sure. Crack, We're gone.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Like I was like that that bad boy is g
- 12:41Speaker 3: O n E.
- 12:42Speaker 5: And I was like, everybody's gonna be stressed because I'm
- 12:45Speaker 5: just gonna have like my little nub right there.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Everyone's gonna be stressed, especially you.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just be calm, just chilling.
- 12:54Speaker 2: So I think the question was how so you're that's
- 12:56Speaker 2: how you're handling it by going okay, no more extreme supports,
- 13:00Speaker 2: no more.
- 13:01Speaker 3: And Robbie's like massaging me and stuff.
- 13:03Speaker 2: So it's a shame Robbie didn't get that on film
- 13:05Speaker 2: after you got him the Fall, You couldn't really use that.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Did you hear what? I texted her? DM him?
- 13:12Speaker 6: No?
- 13:13Speaker 2: What did you say? So? I said, he reposted it.
- 13:16Speaker 2: It was like this is obviously AI, which I thought
- 13:19Speaker 2: was very funny. It was funny, He's funny, and I said, yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 2: it's not. Everyone's the athletic one in the relationship. He
- 13:28Speaker 2: did tell me that, and he was like see previous video,
- 13:30Speaker 2: and the previous video was him like entertubing at like
- 13:33Speaker 2: four miles per hour.
- 13:35Speaker 4: It was harder than it.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Look, how was you tall? It was good. You know.
- 13:43Speaker 3: I've never been one to like appreciate mountain living. Oh really,
- 13:47Speaker 3: not before Robbie. Like, I would never just like voluntarily.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Go to the mountain go to the mountains, especially like
- 13:52Speaker 5: not when there's like snow, you know what I mean,
- 13:54Speaker 5: like mountain town. But it's like so cute and so quaint,
- 13:57Speaker 5: and I ate really well left, really well. I like
- 14:02Speaker 5: the elevation is gnarly, so I would just like take
- 14:04Speaker 5: one flight of stairs and be like, whoo, I need
- 14:07Speaker 5: a nap.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Gone. I should not be going in the mountains anytime soon.
- 14:12Speaker 2: If that's the case, I won't make it. Yeah, but
- 14:15Speaker 2: it's cute.
- 14:15Speaker 5: It's like very and like we brought Sonny and she
- 14:17Speaker 5: had such a good time and she was like she's
- 14:20Speaker 5: never she's.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Not that much action in a long time.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, your girl's tired.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, she's resting, she's resting.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I haven't heard how was your trip to Majorca? Or
- 14:30Speaker 2: I haven't really heard much I was texting the whole time. Yeah,
- 14:36Speaker 2: but like, was it amazing? I just love Myorca.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I loved my Orca. But I was only there for
- 14:40Speaker 3: like a day.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I mean the place I went to the house that
- 14:44Speaker 2: we stayed in was like up the hill from the restaurant,
- 14:46Speaker 2: Like we walked it down every day.
- 14:48Speaker 5: So that's the place. That's where you want to stay
- 14:50Speaker 5: in my Orca, is what I realized. Yeah, we were
- 14:53Speaker 5: on the complete opposite side of the island. Yes, And
- 14:57Speaker 5: I also was very not informed of how my Orca is.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I thought it was like twenty minutes zip around. Oh no, no,
- 15:05Speaker 3: around town.
- 15:06Speaker 5: No no, no, it's like an hour and a half
- 15:08Speaker 5: right across, which is doable.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Yeah, so a little ill prepared. But we had a blast.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Good. Yeah, and Abiza was fun.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Ab Ebitha was very fun. But you know, it's like
- 15:20Speaker 3: so funny.
- 15:21Speaker 5: I keep seeing now that I go through my feet
- 15:23Speaker 5: and I keep seeing like all these celebrities there, and.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, like who's there, what are they doing?
- 15:28Speaker 3: I wonder what they're doing?
- 15:29Speaker 5: You know, like when you go somewhere new and then
- 15:30Speaker 5: like you see like people are visiting and you're like, oh,
- 15:32Speaker 5: I wonder what they're doing, Like Tinks is there right now?
- 15:34Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, you need to go to Gendale.
- 15:36Speaker 2: She's like, oh, go tomorrow. It's like yeah, it's like
- 15:39Speaker 2: it feels like your spot. You're like, oh, let me
- 15:42Speaker 2: tell them where to go.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. The trip Advisor Yeah yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 2: How was the fair Eastern?
- 15:48Speaker 4: Oh my god? I love the fair.
- 15:50Speaker 2: It's so fascinating because you are able to romanticize things
- 15:55Speaker 2: that I would never think they could be romanticized.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I get emotional the fair, and not just because of
- 16:01Speaker 1: the food and the rides. The thing that I love.
- 16:04Speaker 1: And if you go to any county fair, not just
- 16:06Speaker 1: the Orange County Fair, any county fair, go into like
- 16:09Speaker 1: the pavilion where they have like the blue ribbons for
- 16:11Speaker 1: baking and woodworking and the table setting, because these are
- 16:16Speaker 1: people in your community showing their talents and their gifts
- 16:20Speaker 1: and coming together to collaborate and share. And I just
- 16:24Speaker 1: think it's such a like I love looking at like,
- 16:26Speaker 1: look at this rocking chair this guy from Seal Beach made.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I just think it's like, yeah, it's so it just
- 16:33Speaker 1: fills me with so much joy and we have so
- 16:35Speaker 1: little that kind of thing, right, in these days, you know, so, yeah,
- 16:41Speaker 1: we go to the fair and we'll spend hours and.
- 16:42Speaker 4: They're just looking at the table setting.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Has gone viral like several times now, like not because
- 16:49Speaker 1: of me, which but I love that people are excited
- 16:52Speaker 1: about the table setting competition. That's really fun. If you
- 16:55Speaker 1: guys have ever checked that out, but it's I know it.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh my god. At every county fair
- 17:01Speaker 1: they have or most of them, they have like a
- 17:04Speaker 1: competition where there'll be a theme and you have to
- 17:06Speaker 1: set a table to match the theme. But you also
- 17:09Speaker 1: get like graded on how you set the table, like
- 17:14Speaker 1: for example, etiquette was yes, like is the solid fork
- 17:17Speaker 1: in the road?
- 17:17Speaker 2: Oh?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Do you know what happened to me one Thanksgiving? What happened?
- 17:21Speaker 3: It was like a we was before Rob.
- 17:23Speaker 5: And I were engaged, and we did like Thanksgiving were
- 17:25Speaker 5: we invited like his family and my family invited, like
- 17:27Speaker 5: both sides of the family. And I was like very
- 17:30Speaker 5: I don't know. It was like my first big holiday
- 17:32Speaker 5: with everybody together. And my aunt comes over, well my
- 17:37Speaker 5: now aunt, my aunt in law, Robbie's aunt.
- 17:41Speaker 3: And she like looks at the table and she was
- 17:42Speaker 3: like the spooth.
- 17:43Speaker 5: I can't remember it was one utensil on the other
- 17:45Speaker 5: wrong side or on the there was something wrong about
- 17:49Speaker 5: our thing. And I was like so stressed about it.
- 17:52Speaker 5: And ever since then, I like learned how to like
- 17:55Speaker 5: properly set a table.
- 17:57Speaker 4: It's confusing. There's a lot of really so.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Chill and you didn't care, like she was just like
- 18:01Speaker 5: saying it like oh you should do Like she wasn't
- 18:03Speaker 5: criticizing me, but.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it was so educating you. Yeah, And I was like,
- 18:07Speaker 2: I have to get a right I see where that
- 18:10Speaker 2: would streuss you out. Yeah. Yeah.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Like the thing that cracked me up was one of
- 18:13Speaker 1: the themes was like tropical vacation or something, and someone
- 18:17Speaker 1: did like a tiki room themed table and it had
- 18:20Speaker 1: a robot parrot like a bird on it like walking
- 18:23Speaker 1: like looking around, and I'm like, I've never seen a
- 18:25Speaker 1: robot in one of these things. They got second place
- 18:27Speaker 1: because they didn't put the my Thai glass on the
- 18:28Speaker 1: right spot.
- 18:30Speaker 4: I was like, oh my, this is crazy. It's so fierce.
- 18:33Speaker 1: But we we just had a fantastic time at the
- 18:36Speaker 1: Orange Candy Fair.
- 18:37Speaker 4: I think it's going on for another week.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Do you ride right? Oh?
- 18:40Speaker 3: Yes, wit Orange County Fair, Orange Cany Fair.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I used to love the fair. I thrived at
- 18:46Speaker 2: the fair in my hometown. I don't know if it's
- 18:47Speaker 2: safe to go anymore. It was getting a little dangerous
- 18:51Speaker 2: as I was leaving, uh huh. But it was the
- 18:54Speaker 2: highlight of the year for me, going to get a
- 18:57Speaker 2: fresh corn dog and funnel cake. Yeah. Ride some rides
- 19:01Speaker 2: that you didn't know that you were going to make
- 19:02Speaker 2: it or does not feel like software era? The rides
- 19:05Speaker 2: feel jerky.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Let me let me ease you on the rides. I
- 19:10Speaker 1: talked to someone who worked on the rides at the
- 19:12Speaker 1: OC Fair. I'm not going to name her here, but
- 19:15Speaker 1: she told me the rides get inspected every day, whereas
- 19:18Speaker 1: at Disneyland they only get expected once a month a month,
- 19:21Speaker 1: and aside from the safety, I think this is kind
- 19:24Speaker 1: of fun. The ferris wheel at the OC Fair is
- 19:27Speaker 1: the ferris wheel from Coachella and Stage Coach. It's the
- 19:31Speaker 1: same exact ferris wheel, so like the La County Fair,
- 19:35Speaker 1: they use a different one, but the one from Coach.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Like they do Coachella, they do Stage Coach and then
- 19:39Speaker 1: they bring it to Coasta Mesa for the OC Fair.
- 19:42Speaker 1: So if you go on that ferrist wheel, you could
- 19:44Speaker 1: be in one that like Diplo has had sex in Wow?
- 19:46Speaker 2: Oh do do that?
- 19:48Speaker 4: I feel like people have done that.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Uh, like you know, we're finding this out, and I'm
- 19:54Speaker 1: like on the ferris wheel going like, oh my god,
- 19:55Speaker 1: think about what happened here at Coachella, like all the
- 19:58Speaker 1: years past.
- 19:59Speaker 5: Wow.
- 19:59Speaker 4: So it's kind of like see a celebrity. It's pretty fine.
- 20:01Speaker 2: It's basically like being It's like cribs, Yes exactly, you.
- 20:06Speaker 5: Know, yeah, you know what else happened this weekend?
- 20:10Speaker 2: Well, there's a couple of things. A huge thing happened.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I know what you're gonna say, but I do. I
- 20:16Speaker 2: don't think you know. I'm gonna I don't think you're
- 20:18Speaker 2: going to wait until I get until we get back, Okay,
- 20:43Speaker 2: all right, we are back. Something huge happened over the weekend.
- 20:48Speaker 2: But I feel like you're definitely more excited about than
- 20:50Speaker 2: I am.
- 20:52Speaker 5: I don't think you're gonna guess what I am gonna say.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Can you tell me when it happened? So I have it.
- 20:56Speaker 3: It happened Friday, August eighth.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Oh Friday, guess is this something in pop culture world? Yes?
- 21:03Speaker 3: And it just coincided with my Utah trip and it was.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Just like, oh, some who released an album, Oh my god,
- 21:11Speaker 2: Jonas Brothers.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Yes, Oh that's not what you're gonna say.
- 21:13Speaker 2: It wasn't well I was gonna say Demie Lvado coming out,
- 21:15Speaker 2: That's not.
- 21:15Speaker 3: What I was gonna say.
- 21:16Speaker 2: But it was something Jonas Brothers. But you were wrong,
- 21:19Speaker 2: but like fifty percent wrong.
- 21:21Speaker 3: No, like one hundred percent.
- 21:23Speaker 2: She didn't gets it right, I didn't.
- 21:26Speaker 3: So the Jonahs Brothers.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Came out with an album and it was like the
- 21:29Speaker 5: soundtrack to our weekend and nothing felt more Taniafied than
- 21:34Speaker 5: being in Utah with the windows down, and then and
- 21:38Speaker 5: the new Justin Justin New Jonas Brothers album blasting through
- 21:43Speaker 5: the sound system.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Do you have any favorites for the people, like if
- 21:46Speaker 2: some like for someone like me who is an a
- 21:48Speaker 2: Joe bro absolute stand Can you give me some starters?
- 21:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, like it's obvious, so tables. I think
- 21:56Speaker 5: is like the the standout that people are really enjoying.
- 22:01Speaker 5: Love Me to Heaven's been out till for a while,
- 22:03Speaker 5: Love that one, No Time to Talk has also been
- 22:04Speaker 5: out for a minute. Those are the other two standouts,
- 22:08Speaker 5: and then Bully another another standout, And then I think
- 22:15Speaker 5: I'm forgetting.
- 22:16Speaker 1: The als called greetings from your hometown in Casey's wondering.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why their show last night was so big, right.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Because it was like their hometown.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Well, it was at their hometown, I know, but then
- 22:26Speaker 2: they had like Demi come out and Jesse McCartney.
- 22:30Speaker 5: So they're celebrating twenty years of Jonas Brothers. So I think,
- 22:34Speaker 5: I don't know, this is not insider information, although I
- 22:37Speaker 5: could possibly get some insider information.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Let me throw out a text. Hold on, we're gonna say.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Since it's celebrating twenty years of Jonahs brothers, I feel
- 22:47Speaker 5: like they're gonna it's not gonna be like a Taylor
- 22:49Speaker 5: Swift type of concert where they're gonna have somebody come
- 22:52Speaker 5: out every single night. But I feel like they're going
- 22:53Speaker 5: to be giving like odes to different eras of the
- 22:56Speaker 5: Jonas Brothers, so like they will be bringing people out
- 22:58Speaker 5: from like different.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I'm sorry, is this a tour they're on? Yes? Oh
- 23:02Speaker 2: it was last night, this kickoff. Yes, I feel like
- 23:05Speaker 2: they've been on tour for like five years now.
- 23:07Speaker 5: No, this is the kickoff of the tour their twentieth
- 23:09Speaker 5: anniversary here. No, they did Jonas Con but that was
- 23:14Speaker 5: like a one Okay, was it one day or two days?
- 23:17Speaker 5: I'm not sure, but they did Jonas con.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Okay, so now they're doing like their eras tour kind.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Of sure, Okay, I mean they're not like coppying Taylor Swift.
- 23:26Speaker 2: So like, sorry, I didn't mean to offend you with that,
- 23:31Speaker 2: but like.
- 23:32Speaker 3: I'm not calling anybody Taylor.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Open to the idea of going and touring all your
- 23:38Speaker 2: albums and having oaths to different parts of your music.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Yes, So, just to be fair, the Jonahs brothers have
- 23:45Speaker 5: been doing this, like they've been singing their old songs
- 23:48Speaker 5: like when they tour their new newer albums. They're not
- 23:51Speaker 5: just doing the new stuff. They're also doing like love
- 23:53Speaker 5: Bug and so Oa right.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, oh most artists do that. They like
- 23:58Speaker 2: go back to their biggest hits. Yeah, okay, yeah, So
- 24:01Speaker 2: you think they're gonna be bringing out people like who
- 24:03Speaker 2: else would be in that? In that world? Taylor Miley?
- 24:10Speaker 2: Who else? Sam hold On?
- 24:13Speaker 3: Can we stand by? I'm gonna sign out of a text?
- 24:14Speaker 2: Okay, Well, speaking of Taylor, did you see the announcement
- 24:19Speaker 2: on New Heights, the podcast of Travis and Jason Kelce, Yes,
- 24:25Speaker 2: And it has like an orange, sparkly background.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Yes, and a silhouette figure that looks like Taylor Swift that.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Looks like Taylor Swift. And people are speculating it's gonna
- 24:36Speaker 2: be her twelfth.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Album, like debuting on a NFL.
- 24:43Speaker 5: But that's I'm saying, like what like maybe she's announcing
- 24:46Speaker 5: it there. She's not going to debut the album, but
- 24:49Speaker 5: that means ann And it's also happening on Wednesday, which
- 24:52Speaker 5: is August thirteenth, I know.
- 24:54Speaker 2: And it's at seven pm and they normally like release
- 24:57Speaker 2: their episodes early in the morning.
- 25:00Speaker 1: It's going to be so funny if their special guest
- 25:02Speaker 1: is Camille like Kebea and not Taylor Swift.
- 25:04Speaker 2: There's no way, Like, I mean, I guess they could
- 25:08Speaker 2: do that.
- 25:09Speaker 4: It's just a silhouette of a woman or someone with
- 25:13Speaker 4: long hair.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Right, and Jason Kelsey is wearing a Taylor Swift shirt
- 25:18Speaker 5: in the photo.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I mean, come on, that's Taylor. Yeah, I mean, it
- 25:25Speaker 2: would be really weird, but it is. It is. It's
- 25:27Speaker 2: so like normal of her to go on her boyfriend's
- 25:33Speaker 2: podcast to announce her her next album. Like it's just like, oh, yeah,
- 25:39Speaker 2: come on the podcast. Yeah, need some downloads yeah, I
- 25:43Speaker 2: love that.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Actually for them, I know why not?
- 25:46Speaker 2: Why are who?
- 25:49Speaker 3: It's not their podcast?
- 25:53Speaker 2: You don't really get that. Yeah, it didn't really work there.
- 25:58Speaker 2: I feel like it's gonna be her next albu regardless
- 26:00Speaker 2: of if she announces it wouldn't say on this podcast
- 26:03Speaker 2: or not. I do feel like her next album is
- 26:04Speaker 2: gonna be very love focused.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna love it. I'm still just like wanting
- 26:11Speaker 5: reputations Taylor's version.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Like maybe maybe that's what she's gonna announce, but she's
- 26:18Speaker 2: not doing Taylor's version because she owns reputations.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I know, I know, I want the Vault.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Tracks right right right, Maybe she'll give us to us.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Maybe she's like, I'm not gonna give you a full
- 26:27Speaker 2: album like announcement, but I'll give you Vault tracks for truly.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Let's see if Travis is made it happen for us. Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 2: so the last he can do.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Speaking of Jonah's brothers, Okay, so it's always it always
- 26:41Speaker 5: goes back to the Jonah's brothers.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Did you see what Sophie Turner said?
- 26:46Speaker 2: No? What she say?
- 26:48Speaker 5: So she posted a photo or she posted like a
- 26:51Speaker 5: carousel and she's having fun with friends. Some troll said,
- 26:56Speaker 5: l m f ao, I think she has forgotten that
- 26:59Speaker 5: she has two kids. So guess what she does, Sophie Turner,
- 27:04Speaker 5: what do she responds? She's like, you're not gonna troll me?
- 27:08Speaker 5: She says, Ah, I'm so sorry. Sometimes I forget some
- 27:11Speaker 5: people can't think for themselves.
- 27:13Speaker 3: So get this.
- 27:14Speaker 5: There's this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe just maybe
- 27:18Speaker 5: they were with their dad that day.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Drop the mic.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Well did that fire you up or what it did?
- 27:26Speaker 5: Because everybody just trolls like, obviously she has kids and
- 27:31Speaker 5: obviously she's divorced, so they have joint custody.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Why do people need to say that people.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Need to get offline? Is really what it is? Like,
- 27:38Speaker 2: there's two.
- 27:39Speaker 3: People are too, but I love online.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I do too, But some people don't need to be online,
- 27:44Speaker 2: like that person. Ah, like the troll, Like, if you
- 27:46Speaker 2: can just go online and enjoy it for what it
- 27:48Speaker 2: is and not yeah, be mean and bully people and
- 27:52Speaker 2: be negative, then online is for you.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 2: But if your first instinct is to go on a
- 27:58Speaker 2: celebrities carousel and talk about where their kids are at,
- 28:03Speaker 2: then you need to go outside and you need to
- 28:05Speaker 2: let the sun hit you and touch some grass, touch
- 28:07Speaker 2: some grass. I'm like very into just sometimes I just
- 28:14Speaker 2: I'm getting to the point where maybe on weekends I
- 28:16Speaker 2: delete my social media apps. Have you heard the brick?
- 28:19Speaker 2: Have you heard of the brick?
- 28:20Speaker 4: I have heard of the brick.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Yes, attempted to get the brick. What's the brick? The phone?
- 28:24Speaker 2: It's like a thing that you put on your phone
- 28:26Speaker 2: in like it locks you out of apps, so like
- 28:30Speaker 2: it just gives you.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Don't think you have like self control to like not.
- 28:34Speaker 2: I think it's a habit. So if I deleted them
- 28:36Speaker 2: off my but like having to delete and redownload every
- 28:39Speaker 2: weekend would be annoying. So if I just had the brick,
- 28:40Speaker 2: I could just put it on there on the weekends
- 28:42Speaker 2: and then I don't if I go to like get
- 28:46Speaker 2: on the apps, it won't let me, And then I'm like, oh,
- 28:49Speaker 2: that was just a habit move. I would just like
- 28:52Speaker 2: to have some dedicated time where like I don't scroll
- 28:55Speaker 2: on my phone. Yeah, try and train your soft grol era.
- 29:00Speaker 2: I don't think that affects me as I don't think
- 29:03Speaker 2: I don't think that's hard a hard hard girl era.
- 29:07Speaker 2: If I'm on my phone, it might be I'm not
- 29:09Speaker 2: bullying anyone might be causing you stress. It might be
- 29:12Speaker 2: causing you some I stressed. I just am like I
- 29:16Speaker 2: why am I doing this? I just spent like thirty
- 29:18Speaker 2: minutes just mindlessly looking at other what other people are doing, yeah,
- 29:22Speaker 2: and hearing like think pieces on things.
- 29:24Speaker 3: That are what think pieces, Like everyone.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Had like an opinion about some everything, and you're just
- 29:30Speaker 2: kind of like.
- 29:30Speaker 5: Think piece, give me an example. You can't just throw
- 29:33Speaker 5: out these words and think I know what I mean.
- 29:34Speaker 2: So like someone me saying something and like misspeaking on something,
- 29:42Speaker 2: and then this whole Then all of a sudden, there's
- 29:44Speaker 2: like viral videos of this one thing that I said,
- 29:48Speaker 2: and it becomes a topic for people to gain views
- 29:53Speaker 2: or or traction on by having an opinion on it.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I'm not falling, so it'd be like if you said
- 30:01Speaker 2: something yeah, yeah, I mean like like too, I'm too
- 30:05Speaker 2: down trying to explain.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I think pieces Like I'm trying to think of a
- 30:09Speaker 1: recent example, like something happens in pop culture or the news,
- 30:12Speaker 1: and then someone will write, usually in like substack or
- 30:15Speaker 1: they'll write like a long, navel gazzy kind of thing
- 30:18Speaker 1: about like what this means and why their opinion is
- 30:20Speaker 1: better than others and that kind of piece.
- 30:23Speaker 2: I just well, I mean that I was just an example. Yeah,
- 30:26Speaker 2: I was just giving an example of like being chronically
- 30:29Speaker 2: online to where I'm listening to people's opinion about an
- 30:32Speaker 2: opinion and it's just like, why do I I don't care?
- 30:35Speaker 2: Why am I spending any of my free time watching this? Yeah?
- 30:39Speaker 5: I do find myself like using Instagram as like my end.
- 30:42Speaker 5: I'll be all because I'll see you like a reel
- 30:45Speaker 5: about something, and I'll send it to Robbie.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I'll be like, we can't use.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Whatever anymore. It's toxic.
- 30:50Speaker 5: He's like, because this Instagram person says, so like why
- 30:54Speaker 5: are you And there's like this whole thing about Mountain
- 30:56Speaker 5: Valley water and how it's like arsenic or like whatever
- 31:00Speaker 5: is in there, and like that went viral. So then
- 31:02Speaker 5: I was like, we gotta switch our water up, like
- 31:04Speaker 5: get a new water. And he's like, because you're listening
- 31:07Speaker 5: to these random people on Instagram.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Right, Well, who am I going to listen to. I'm
- 31:11Speaker 3: not gonna listen to the news.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Why don't you listen to your own intuition?
- 31:16Speaker 3: That does nothing for me.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Or people that you trust and know.
- 31:22Speaker 3: That's a good idea.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I did something the other day I'm not proud of
- 31:26Speaker 1: and I don't ever. I never get into arguments with
- 31:28Speaker 1: people online, like I don't do that. No one says
- 31:31Speaker 1: anything mean to me. I don't say anything mean back.
- 31:33Speaker 1: It just never happens. But I posted about this movie
- 31:36Speaker 1: that came out over the weekend called Weapons that is very,
- 31:38Speaker 1: very scary, and I thought it was great. I love Weapons,
- 31:41Speaker 1: and this dude slid into my DMS all mad about
- 31:44Speaker 1: how he didn't like the movie, and now I have
- 31:47Speaker 1: to defend it, and We're just going back and forth,
- 31:49Speaker 1: and I'm trying to be like, hey, that's a beautiful
- 31:50Speaker 1: thing about movies.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Brother, you cannot like it and I can like it too.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I just kept going, just coming at me, and I
- 31:57Speaker 1: wanted to defend what I thought about this dumb movie. Uh,
- 32:01Speaker 1: and it was exhausted by the end of it, and
- 32:03Speaker 1: I was like, what.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Do we do here?
- 32:05Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 32:06Speaker 2: And then it's like you get into someone dms me
- 32:09Speaker 2: about like I post something about gay marriage, and then
- 32:12Speaker 2: I get into that kind of stuff and I'm like,
- 32:15Speaker 2: why are you on my page arguing with me? Like
- 32:18Speaker 2: I'm in a relationship. I'm engaged to a woman, so like,
- 32:21Speaker 2: you know where I stand. So if you don't like it,
- 32:27Speaker 2: go follow someone else, right, thank you? But yeah, those
- 32:31Speaker 2: they're they're exhausting. Speaking of movies, I went that was
- 32:35Speaker 2: our first big outing, was going to a movie.
- 32:37Speaker 3: But what let me I have a rant to go on?
- 32:41Speaker 3: Please you begin?
- 32:43Speaker 2: Well, no, I was gonna say, let's take a break
- 32:45Speaker 2: and we'll be right back. All right, we're back. What
- 33:18Speaker 2: is your rant? When I brought up going to see
- 33:20Speaker 2: a movie?
- 33:22Speaker 5: I just would like to say that millennials are the best,
- 33:26Speaker 5: and you can't tell me otherwise.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I'm back on the I'm back on my love for millennialism.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Like we're bringing back.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Freak Your Friday.
- 33:36Speaker 5: I haven't seen it yet, but everybody's saying that it's
- 33:38Speaker 5: even better than the first one. The Jonahs brothers are
- 33:41Speaker 5: bringing up out Demi the Bottom and we're singing camp
- 33:43Speaker 5: rock again. Uh, we're making a Devil Wears Prada number
- 33:47Speaker 5: two that everybody's hypes and freaking out about. You can't
- 33:50Speaker 5: sit here and tell me that millennials don't rock and
- 33:53Speaker 5: that we don't and that we don't control.
- 33:58Speaker 3: The system.
- 34:00Speaker 2: That wor that was very millennial. That was very millennial.
- 34:04Speaker 3: No cap okay, six s.
- 34:07Speaker 2: No, I do feel like there, I do feel like
- 34:13Speaker 2: that's right, no cap Okay, big millennials rock. Big brain,
- 34:20Speaker 2: I mean big head. I don't know. No, it means
- 34:22Speaker 2: a good idea, oh big brain, I think a big
- 34:24Speaker 2: brain idea. Yeah, I'm big brain.
- 34:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Concept.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Okay, that's what I take from it.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Okay, I agree. And I had this moment the other
- 34:34Speaker 2: day because I saw someone trashing Freak Your Friday, which
- 34:37Speaker 2: we saw on Friday, and like we I have to say,
- 34:41Speaker 2: I haven't been to a movie in a movie theater
- 34:43Speaker 2: where I left, and I was like, I just felt light.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Oh right, wasn't doing that for you?
- 34:51Speaker 2: No? I was miserable, though that might have been when
- 34:53Speaker 2: I got six Yeah. No, it was like so funny,
- 34:58Speaker 2: it was so cute it and feel like over you know,
- 35:01Speaker 2: I feel like a lot of things are like overly
- 35:03Speaker 2: like sexualized a little bit, I mean a lot of bit. Yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 2: And I just felt like it was so such an
- 35:14Speaker 2: beautiful continuation from the first one. I may have liked
- 35:18Speaker 2: it even better than the first one.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Wow.
- 35:20Speaker 2: And I loved every second of it. And then I
- 35:23Speaker 2: saw someone on TikTok like bashing it and I was
- 35:26Speaker 2: thinking they must be they might be gen Z because
- 35:30Speaker 2: obviously it was very like geared towards millennials. But it
- 35:33Speaker 2: was fun because in the theater you could hear all
- 35:35Speaker 2: the parents laughing. There's a lot of kids and their moms,
- 35:38Speaker 2: and you could hear the kids laughing. So it was
- 35:40Speaker 2: like transcending the aging the gap, bridging the gap. But
- 35:44Speaker 2: there is a little bit of negativity around gen Z.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Gen Z like bashes anything that's not like what they
- 35:50Speaker 2: consider cool. Yeah, and shogi yeah, and so it kind
- 35:54Speaker 2: of it shifted my perspective on millennials, like giving me
- 35:57Speaker 2: so much love for them, and I was thinking about
- 35:58Speaker 2: the Jonas Brothers bringing out me. I was thinking about
- 36:03Speaker 2: like Taylor Swift and how people long for her music, and.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Yeah, who are they doing that for gen Z?
- 36:10Speaker 5: Nada.
- 36:10Speaker 2: I mean there's few people tell me, Chapel roone, I'm
- 36:16Speaker 2: quite the same as Taylor Taylor. I mean, they're pretty
- 36:19Speaker 2: feral for them, but that's okay. I'm just saying, like, like,
- 36:23Speaker 2: no one is as big as Tailor Swift.
- 36:25Speaker 3: You know, thank you, millennial queen.
- 36:28Speaker 2: She gets a millennial queen, so I am and I'm
- 36:31Speaker 2: in that. But then it's interesting because I watched these
- 36:34Speaker 2: shows that go viral and that everyone loves and I
- 36:37Speaker 2: don't connect with them, and I'm like, it might just
- 36:39Speaker 2: be because I'm a millennial and I don't understand what
- 36:43Speaker 2: they're getting out of it. And that's okay, but I
- 36:45Speaker 2: it's like, I feel like we have respect for them,
- 36:48Speaker 2: but they have They make fun of us.
- 36:53Speaker 3: I don't care make fun of me.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Oh she said what she said? But yeah, I watched
- 36:58Speaker 2: We Were Liars, you guys. That last episode is the
- 37:04Speaker 2: craziest episode I have. I still am thinking about them,
- 37:07Speaker 2: the characters.
- 37:09Speaker 5: Okay, So I'm having a tough time because Summer to
- 37:12Speaker 5: me means Love Island, like it just does. It's so
- 37:16Speaker 5: many episodes and I'm watching two different countries, so it.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Just takes up full time job.
- 37:21Speaker 3: It's a full time job. So I'm still knee deep.
- 37:25Speaker 5: I'm almost caught up with Love Island UK because I
- 37:28Speaker 5: can only watch so much in a day.
- 37:29Speaker 2: You know.
- 37:32Speaker 5: I have so much on the burner that I want
- 37:34Speaker 5: to that I want to participate in. But I feel
- 37:36Speaker 5: like We were Liars as.
- 37:37Speaker 3: One of them.
- 37:38Speaker 5: Hunting Wives is another one, and the Summer I Turn
- 37:41Speaker 5: Pretty is another one. I feel like I should start
- 37:43Speaker 5: with the Summer return Pretty because that has like a
- 37:46Speaker 5: like a date where everybody's gonna like watch at the
- 37:49Speaker 5: same time, which I enjoy. So I feel like that
- 37:52Speaker 5: should be like my first one that I really.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Delve into. Yeah, yeah, I would say so. The thing
- 38:01Speaker 2: with we were Liars is I saw the creator was
- 38:03Speaker 2: like basically saying if we if they want a season two,
- 38:06Speaker 2: then we need people to stream the show, and they
- 38:09Speaker 2: need it to be like binged, not like watched with
- 38:12Speaker 2: a gap in between. And if they are not able
- 38:17Speaker 2: to make a second season, I'm going to be devastated
- 38:20Speaker 2: because the way it ends, it's.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Like, oh, there's a big cliffhanger.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Well, it's just there's it's a it's a book series,
- 38:26Speaker 2: so there's a continued story and there's so many things
- 38:28Speaker 2: that were unanswered. But oh my god, the finale is
- 38:33Speaker 2: the craziest thing I've ever experienced. And don't spoil it
- 38:36Speaker 2: for yourself. Okay, it's worth not being spoiled.
- 38:39Speaker 3: I but managed to avoid the spoiler prepare, Okay.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Summer I Turn Pretty is very cute, very easy watch love.
- 38:48Speaker 2: They're cute and young, and I kind of just want
- 38:51Speaker 2: to be like Belly you don't have to date a brother.
- 38:53Speaker 2: You can move on from these brothers.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Right, there's other fish in the sea.
- 38:56Speaker 2: There's other fish in the sea than these fish dating. Appy,
- 39:01Speaker 2: just go to college.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Get on hinge, you know, starts wiping.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Hunting wives while Yeah, I've heard really hinge. Yeah crazy.
- 39:12Speaker 4: We just finished the last night. Loved every second of it.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I couldn't because when we first started, I was like, oh,
- 39:16Speaker 1: this is some Netflix slop. I'll be a little I
- 39:19Speaker 1: can be on my phone at the same time. And
- 39:20Speaker 1: then after the second episode, I was just so locked in.
- 39:22Speaker 1: I didn't know where it was going.
- 39:24Speaker 4: I loved it.
- 39:24Speaker 2: You know what I love is that Mallin Malin Inkerman
- 39:27Speaker 2: is that Yeah, she's the lead. I love her. So
- 39:33Speaker 2: Mallin and Brittany Snow are the leads, and I love
- 39:37Speaker 2: that everyone's always loved them and known them, but now
- 39:40Speaker 2: they're having this like resurgency. Yeah. So yeah, those are
- 39:45Speaker 2: the shows that we've been into. Okay, I have nothing
- 39:48Speaker 2: else to watch right now. You know what you could
- 39:50Speaker 2: have done in your downtime? What wedding planning? Why if
- 39:56Speaker 2: not now? Next year? Anything? I'm not kidding. We were
- 40:03Speaker 2: so sick that it got to the point where at
- 40:06Speaker 2: one point Hayley was feeling a little better, like mentally,
- 40:09Speaker 2: and she was trying to plan stuff and I was like, Babe,
- 40:11Speaker 2: I like feel so overwhelmed trying to think of planning
- 40:16Speaker 2: logistical things right now? How did you passressure? In my head?
- 40:20Speaker 4: How did you pass the time when you were like
- 40:21Speaker 4: down hard?
- 40:22Speaker 2: Do you know what's so crazy? I'm so content doing
- 40:25Speaker 2: nothing And even like I got to a point where
- 40:27Speaker 2: I was like, I'm stir crazy, so stir crazy, but
- 40:30Speaker 2: I didn't. We'd be like, should we just go walk
- 40:32Speaker 2: around the block and we would both like walk outside
- 40:34Speaker 2: and we'd be like, let's just sit in the grass.
- 40:37Speaker 2: We just sat in the grass out front. I played
- 40:39Speaker 2: on my Nintendo Switch. I played all the old Donkey Kongs,
- 40:43Speaker 2: beat them all so once I beat the last one,
- 40:46Speaker 2: I was like, what else am I gonna do? That's
- 40:49Speaker 2: so crazy? We played game board games. Made me realize
- 40:52Speaker 2: I'm marrying the right person because I had so much
- 40:56Speaker 2: fun being It felt like a vacation, even though we
- 40:58Speaker 2: were sick together both like sad for it to end
- 41:01Speaker 2: last night. Even though we're both still sick. It's like
- 41:04Speaker 2: back to real life tomorrow. But yeah, that was it.
- 41:08Speaker 2: That's cute. But yeah, we were both starting to get
- 41:11Speaker 2: Oh they're finishing I think the backyard in Adu soon. Wow,
- 41:15Speaker 2: so that's coming to an end. They craned the jacuzzi
- 41:19Speaker 2: over the house. Who may have been when I got sick?
- 41:23Speaker 2: That was Tuesday? Why because you're so stressed. It was
- 41:26Speaker 2: so hot outside and that's when I was feeling my
- 41:28Speaker 2: worst and I was sitting outside watching to make sure
- 41:31Speaker 2: it didn't land on the house.
- 41:32Speaker 5: I think that's like their main concern. Like I think
- 41:35Speaker 5: they're what are you gonna do if it starts to fall.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I was not in the house. Oh oh, I see,
- 41:43Speaker 2: just protecting myself.
- 41:44Speaker 5: I see you weren't making sure that okay, Okay, I
- 41:46Speaker 5: thought you were like trying to watch it.
- 41:47Speaker 2: I was like, what are you gonna do?
- 41:48Speaker 3: Yell, do I have to stop it if it falls?
- 41:52Speaker 2: So yeah, I think being out in the heat like
- 41:54Speaker 2: that and then being a little bit stressed and on edge,
- 41:57Speaker 2: they have taken me down. But yeah, they craned it over.
- 41:59Speaker 4: Wow.
- 42:01Speaker 2: And we'll see what happens when it's built. Hopefully it's great, huge, nice. Yeah,
- 42:08Speaker 2: So that's a little bit about me and what's been
- 42:10Speaker 2: going on.
- 42:12Speaker 5: I realized yesterday that, like, Robbie and I haven't had
- 42:15Speaker 5: a family meeting since our wedding, and I'm like, boy.
- 42:18Speaker 2: You have been everywhere in the world. When's her time
- 42:21Speaker 2: for a family meeting?
- 42:22Speaker 3: Exactly? I was like, it's time for us to get
- 42:25Speaker 3: back to reality. And we have things to do, and what.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Do you have to do? So much to do, so.
- 42:30Speaker 5: Much to plan for our school starting again in September,
- 42:33Speaker 5: and life is happening. We have to plan Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- 42:38Speaker 2: It's still summer. No, let your soft era girl start
- 42:43Speaker 2: with that.
- 42:44Speaker 5: Soft era doesn't mean I cannot be planning ahead such
- 42:48Speaker 5: as etc.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I've will be associating the month of August
- 42:55Speaker 2: with an illness, the never ending illness. Yeah. We are
- 43:00Speaker 2: going to Vegas this weekend for the Backstreet Boy You
- 43:04Speaker 2: sure you're good for that? Yeah? I might have to drive.
- 43:06Speaker 2: The air pressure might be too much in my ears
- 43:09Speaker 2: if I don't do that. No, I literally might have to.
- 43:15Speaker 2: We're going to Backstreet Boys and we're gonna be doing
- 43:18Speaker 2: some podcast.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Another millennial smash.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, So I was gonna bring this up
- 43:23Speaker 2: because obviously Jonah's brothers got together but I feel like
- 43:26Speaker 2: Backstreet Boys is kind of what got all the boy
- 43:29Speaker 2: bands who had fallen apart to go. Why did we
- 43:33Speaker 2: ever quit? Yeah, let's get We're better together, better together beyond.
- 43:38Speaker 2: So another win for the millennials.
- 43:41Speaker 5: The thing is, I've I've heard so many people have
- 43:43Speaker 5: gone and said it's amazing, Like everybody's just like raving
- 43:47Speaker 5: about the show.
- 43:47Speaker 3: So I feel like again another win, another one, win,
- 43:51Speaker 3: win win. All I do is win, win, win.
- 43:54Speaker 2: You know what I was thinking about, how like people
- 43:57Speaker 2: now will talk about like how horrible and like vulgar
- 44:01Speaker 2: and stuff the music is for like the young kids
- 44:04Speaker 2: these days. I don't know if you hear. I just
- 44:05Speaker 2: always see people like on social media talking about how
- 44:08Speaker 2: like you have to protect the kids. I was thinking
- 44:09Speaker 2: about some of the songs that we listened to growing up,
- 44:12Speaker 2: and Haley was singing that song, Wait just a second,
- 44:15Speaker 2: one we Whisper in your Ear you know.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Oh God, yeah, yeah, Whisper song coming.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Through the Whisper song. But the lyrics after that one,
- 44:23Speaker 2: I did never knew them, and I was I was like,
- 44:26Speaker 2: there's no way that's what they say. It was so vulgar,
- 44:30Speaker 2: and I was like, how are these how are these
- 44:33Speaker 2: parents now saying that this generation's music's too to sexualize
- 44:39Speaker 2: and bad for the kids. When we were had like
- 44:42Speaker 2: like Ludacris, like I was singing, I want to what's
- 44:53Speaker 2: wrong with that? Well, I don't know when you're like
- 44:55Speaker 2: twelve years old the candy shop, I'll let you like
- 44:57Speaker 2: the lollipop so good. Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 1: We're listening to Semi Term Life the other day and
- 45:03Speaker 1: there's a lyric in that song where it's like, how
- 45:05Speaker 1: can I get back to the place where I fell
- 45:07Speaker 1: asleep inside you?
- 45:08Speaker 4: Like, oh god, why?
- 45:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's there. I was thinking, it's funny, like
- 45:15Speaker 2: every generation, the millenniums, they try to make it seem
- 45:22Speaker 2: like the like Hollywood and the music industry is like
- 45:25Speaker 2: so over sexualized, but it always like it's it's just
- 45:27Speaker 2: been that way. It's just like your new generation. And
- 45:30Speaker 2: you obviously think differently when you have kids because you're
- 45:33Speaker 2: thinking of what are they being exposed to? But we
- 45:35Speaker 2: were exposing ourselves to way worse, and look how we
- 45:40Speaker 2: turned out questionable. We're great. We are because we're millennials. Exactly.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Did you have anything else to say?
- 46:03Speaker 5: Uh no, I'm just gonna keep everybody abreast on Thrust
- 46:07Speaker 5: the Taylor Swift announcement happening on Wednesday.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Them a breast. Yeah you know you take it on yourself.
- 46:14Speaker 4: Yep, tiny is your number one source.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Number one source for breaking news.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I have something really before we close it out here,
- 46:21Speaker 1: I have something really quick. I just wanted to say
- 46:23Speaker 1: that I thought was very funny and I think everyone
- 46:25Speaker 1: would enjoy this. When Leland and Stitch came out the
- 46:30Speaker 1: new Leland Stitch, Ali said, I have not seen this movie.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I haven't seen the original one or the new one.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Oh, I have been either.
- 46:36Speaker 4: So Alison went and saw the new one.
- 46:38Speaker 1: She loved it, and we were made aware of a
- 46:41Speaker 1: character from the Leland and Stitch animated series named Ruben,
- 46:45Speaker 1: who is Stitch's.
- 46:46Speaker 4: Cousin, and he is like he has a new Jersey accent.
- 46:49Speaker 2: The story is amazing.
- 46:52Speaker 3: I don't understand I'm missing something.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm gonna pull a picture of Ruben and
- 46:58Speaker 1: everyone listening. If you watch the Lelo and Stitch animated series,
- 47:01Speaker 1: you know all about Ruben. He has a new Jersey accent.
- 47:03Speaker 1: He's really really smart, and he loves sandwiches. He's so cute.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Wait can you show me because I've seen.
- 47:08Speaker 1: He's like a yellow g one. He's from the TV show.
- 47:12Speaker 1: He's not from the original. He's not been in the movie. Okay,
- 47:14Speaker 1: we were made aware of Ruben, and Allison and I
- 47:17Speaker 1: became obsessed with Ruben. What's all we can think about?
- 47:19Speaker 1: Just Ruben's on our mind. There's like a Ruben game
- 47:22Speaker 1: on the Disney Channel website where you'd stack like sandwiches.
- 47:25Speaker 1: We played it. We love Ruben. I found out Rubin
- 47:29Speaker 1: is at Disneyland. You can meet Ruben. He is a
- 47:32Speaker 1: character at Disneyland, but he only comes out on six
- 47:35Speaker 1: two five that his is his experiment name June twenty fifth.
- 47:39Speaker 1: We found this out in like early June. We're like,
- 47:41Speaker 1: let's go to Disneyland in June twenty fifth and try
- 47:43Speaker 1: to meet Reuben. I tried to find out he was
- 47:45Speaker 1: gonna be there. I couldn't get a word yes right now.
- 47:48Speaker 1: So we go down to Disneyland on June twenty fifth
- 47:51Speaker 1: and there's a thing called Stitches Dance Party.
- 47:53Speaker 4: This is for children. It is like a party for
- 47:55Speaker 4: little kids.
- 47:57Speaker 1: We go there and we see Stitch doing like a
- 47:59Speaker 1: calm line with like goofy and stuff, and there's like
- 48:02Speaker 1: several shows a day. We came in the middle of it.
- 48:04Speaker 1: We're like, I don't think Ruben's coming out. I'm not
- 48:07Speaker 1: feeling good about this. So we go and ride or
- 48:09Speaker 1: ride and then we come back for like, let's just try.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Let's try to meet Ruben. So I go up to
- 48:14Speaker 1: the cast member and I'm like, hey, I'm sorry, but like, like,
- 48:18Speaker 1: do you know, like who Reuben is? And she's like, yes,
- 48:21Speaker 1: I do. And I'm like, oh my god, I want
- 48:24Speaker 1: to meet Ruben so badly. Is Ruben going to be
- 48:26Speaker 1: here tonight? And she's like, yes, he is. He's not
- 48:29Speaker 1: always here, but he's here tonight. And I'm like, oh
- 48:32Speaker 1: my god, we we got it. We got We're gonna
- 48:34Speaker 1: meet Ruben. I'm all excite. I'm like straightening my shirt,
- 48:36Speaker 1: I'm getting like my po's ready. And she's like, I'm
- 48:39Speaker 1: going to show you where Ruben comes out. He's gonna
- 48:41Speaker 1: he's gonna come out from over there. Like no one
- 48:44Speaker 1: else knows that, but Ruben's gonna come out over there.
- 48:47Speaker 1: He's only at the beginning, so you got to be
- 48:48Speaker 1: here at the beginning. We're like, okay, I'm ready, I'm ready.
- 48:50Speaker 1: So we're sitting there, we're waiting and then we see
- 48:53Speaker 1: these guys kind of come out to like the sound
- 48:54Speaker 1: booth the lighting booth, and she's just kind of like
- 48:58Speaker 1: gesturing over in that direction.
- 49:00Speaker 4: I'm like, where's the characters come out? Like is it
- 49:02Speaker 4: like is it a trapdoor or something?
- 49:04Speaker 1: And then she starts like waving at the sound guy
- 49:07Speaker 1: and like pointing at me and Allison, and I'm like,
- 49:09Speaker 1: wait a second. And I walk over to the sound
- 49:14Speaker 1: guy and I look at his name tag and his
- 49:16Speaker 1: name tag says Ruben. And she thought that we were
- 49:21Speaker 1: friends of the sound guy there to meet him. And
- 49:25Speaker 1: she's like, you're Ruben. Your friends are here, and he's like,
- 49:28Speaker 1: who are you?
- 49:31Speaker 2: Did you explain that? He know?
- 49:34Speaker 1: I walk in character, Allison starts talking to the girl
- 49:37Speaker 1: that like just docks her friend, and I walk over
- 49:40Speaker 1: to Ruben and I'm like, I'm really really sorry, man.
- 49:42Speaker 1: We came here to meet this character from the Stitch
- 49:44Speaker 1: animated series who was also named Ruben. And he's like,
- 49:48Speaker 1: I know all about Ruben. Yes, I know, I know him.
- 49:50Speaker 1: He loves the sandwiches. Yeah, he's not here, it's just me.
- 49:54Speaker 1: And I was like, oh my god. It was so
- 49:58Speaker 1: funny because like, what did the chances, what are the chances?
- 50:02Speaker 4: And like she did, like the wholely Disney.
- 50:03Speaker 5: Ruben's a very popular names like I don't know, I know,
- 50:11Speaker 5: I know so many Rubens, Ruben so many I did
- 50:18Speaker 5: nobody that you know, but like Ruben last name, I
- 50:21Speaker 5: don't know, last name.
- 50:23Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go, there's one.
- 50:25Speaker 1: It was so funny because, like so many, if I
- 50:29Speaker 1: had shown this woman a picture of the character and like,
- 50:32Speaker 1: is he going to be here, she would have just
- 50:33Speaker 1: said no, he's not, like he's not here. But I said,
- 50:36Speaker 1: is Reuben going to be here? And she's like, yes
- 50:38Speaker 1: he is. He's coming out a little bit, and like
- 50:40Speaker 1: she did, like the whole like Disney magic thing, and
- 50:42Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, this is gonna be
- 50:43Speaker 1: so great. And then it ended up just being an employee.
- 50:45Speaker 1: He was very nice and we have since connected with
- 50:48Speaker 1: Ruben since then.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Are you gonna let y'all know if Ruben ever comes out?
- 50:51Speaker 1: I did so I posted this on TikTok, and you
- 50:54Speaker 1: know when when a little viral and I talked to
- 50:56Speaker 1: someone who runs the costumes at Disneyland, and she said,
- 50:59Speaker 1: there is one Ruben costume, the Ghost from Coast to Coast.
- 51:03Speaker 1: He came out on Pride Night like a week earlier.
- 51:06Speaker 1: So if I had been there on Pride Night, I
- 51:07Speaker 1: would have gotten to meet Reuben. But yeah, so I'll
- 51:11Speaker 1: be waving my rainbow fly. I'm I'm a proud ally
- 51:15Speaker 1: so I can meet Reuben.
- 51:17Speaker 5: Uh.
- 51:17Speaker 1: I just wanted to share that because it's been the
- 51:19Speaker 1: only thing on my mind and the less like, well we've.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Been every time we've been to the podcast, I'm like,
- 51:23Speaker 2: oh my god, we forgot to tell the story.
- 51:25Speaker 3: It's just a story that you even try to tell her.
- 51:29Speaker 2: It's so funny because do you think about that small
- 51:33Speaker 2: section of Disneyland where they were doing the show, how
- 51:37Speaker 2: many cast members are there? Really? Like not that many?
- 51:40Speaker 4: Not that many?
- 51:41Speaker 2: One are the chances that one of those people is named.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Yes And he was like gonna come out at a
- 51:46Speaker 1: certain point, and it was so she made.
- 51:49Speaker 2: It a magical experience. Even it was just the sound guy, it.
- 51:52Speaker 4: Was we had the best time.
- 51:54Speaker 5: It was.
- 51:54Speaker 1: It was the greatest time at Disney. And so anyway,
- 51:56Speaker 1: if you go see Stitches Interplanetary Dance Party and Ruben
- 51:59Speaker 1: is running the show, give them what's up?
- 52:02Speaker 2: Shadow?
- 52:03Speaker 4: Give themis wow?
- 52:05Speaker 2: Truly amazing, you know, what will really humble you? By
- 52:08Speaker 2: the way, it's like so random.
- 52:10Speaker 5: I don't know why you're uh lelo and Stitch made
- 52:12Speaker 5: me think about it, but I was thinking about movies,
- 52:14Speaker 5: you know, like on the back of like the Delta planes,
- 52:17Speaker 5: they have like the TVs you can like play games.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they have like a trivia game.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm so bad at it.
- 52:26Speaker 3: It's like embarrassing.
- 52:27Speaker 2: It's like it's like history question.
- 52:30Speaker 5: But when your ten year old stepson's like asking you
- 52:32Speaker 5: for help, well, me, I should know this, and I'm like,
- 52:35Speaker 5: I have no idea, and I just guess and I
- 52:37Speaker 5: guess right.
- 52:38Speaker 2: I'm like, yes, I love playing that game. Oh it's
- 52:41Speaker 2: so stressful. I know I'm horrible at it, but I
- 52:44Speaker 2: love learning.
- 52:45Speaker 5: And then when I get one that I know, like
- 52:46Speaker 5: who wrote the Emancipation of Me?
- 52:48Speaker 2: Me, I'm like Ryan Carrie.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Then do you like pop culture? And it's like where
- 52:52Speaker 1: did Fraser go to college?
- 52:53Speaker 5: And yes, it was like what's Bruce Willis's real name?
- 52:57Speaker 5: That's apparently it's like not William, like Walter or something.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Did you see Selena Gomes freaking out over the Love
- 53:04Speaker 2: Island cast?
- 53:05Speaker 3: Did I see it?
- 53:07Speaker 2: We also, we didn't talk about Janaye and Kenny. Oh
- 53:10Speaker 2: my gosh.
- 53:11Speaker 3: So I'm on my trip to My Yorka.
- 53:14Speaker 5: When the news broke and I couldn't be with a
- 53:17Speaker 5: group of people who were less interested in Love Island
- 53:20Speaker 5: than the people I was with. One single person I
- 53:22Speaker 5: was with knew who they were or cared. Robbie knew
- 53:25Speaker 5: who they were but didn't care, right, And it's all
- 53:29Speaker 5: I could think about. I was refreshing my feed to
- 53:32Speaker 5: come with all these theories.
- 53:33Speaker 3: I was shook to my core.
- 53:36Speaker 5: I have a Love Island only group chat that's like
- 53:38Speaker 5: comprised of most people from like Kiss FM. So luckily
- 53:41Speaker 5: they were giving me what I needed while I was
- 53:42Speaker 5: away on this on my trip.
- 53:44Speaker 3: But man, that news rocked me.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Yeah, Kenny was just.
- 53:49Speaker 3: Faking this relationship for a year.
- 53:51Speaker 5: Like that is psychotic, schizophrenic, sociopathic.
- 53:57Speaker 3: I don't think narcissistic.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's pretty dark.
- 54:03Speaker 5: Okay, So the Love Island reunion is coming up. I
- 54:06Speaker 5: think it's like August twenty fifth. It airs for this season,
- 54:09Speaker 5: for this season, but I am praying that they touch
- 54:13Speaker 5: on this or that they bring Jane because obviously Kenny's
- 54:15Speaker 5: not going to come.
- 54:16Speaker 2: And what you're rooting for in this season, so that's
- 54:19Speaker 2: still together.
- 54:21Speaker 5: My mind is so in UK right now that I'm
- 54:23Speaker 5: like forgetting about USA people. But Nick and Orlandria I
- 54:27Speaker 5: think are fake. I think they're just doing it for
- 54:29Speaker 5: the fans, because if we could roll the tapes back,
- 54:32Speaker 5: after they kiss for the first time, she was like,
- 54:34Speaker 5: it's a kissing my brother. So I think they're fake.
- 54:38Speaker 5: I love Pepe and iris as and Shelley drove me
- 54:41Speaker 5: nuts the whole season.
- 54:43Speaker 4: I hear that.
- 54:44Speaker 3: So I guess it's just Pepe and iris.
- 54:47Speaker 2: That I'm rooting warning for, and like, don't really care
- 54:51Speaker 2: Lark and Taylor who they hold her the cowboy.
- 54:55Speaker 5: Oh yeah, sure, I'm ran for them too.
- 54:59Speaker 2: Yeah for that, she don't care everyone.
- 55:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm happy for them.
- 55:03Speaker 2: All right. Well that's all for now, folks.
- 55:06Speaker 3: But but I think it's gonna be a good reunion.
- 55:07Speaker 5: The tea you'll be piping, especially between like Sierra and
- 55:09Speaker 5: all them.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Mmmmm. I don't know if Sierra is going to the reunion.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Why wouldn't she, Oh, because they kicked her off.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think she's going. I've heard.
- 55:20Speaker 3: That would make sense.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's a bummer, yeah for her. And for us,
- 55:26Speaker 2: M we care. I don't care. I don't. I don't
- 55:29Speaker 2: really care about it. Like, I don't think I care
- 55:32Speaker 2: enough about any of these people to need to update.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Well you knows, and I well, you can't escape them
- 55:39Speaker 2: on social media. So it's like, what what do we
- 55:42Speaker 2: not know? I know what I heard.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Hooda is getting a record deal.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Yeah I heard that too, Yeah, a record deal.
- 55:49Speaker 3: Five record labels are trying to sign Hoodah.
- 55:52Speaker 2: Yeah, apparently I did not know. No.
- 55:56Speaker 5: They there's a lot of like old social media videos
- 55:58Speaker 5: of her, like singing, and she did have a good voice.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Oh I didn't know that. That's cool. Wow, she really
- 56:04Speaker 2: she really didn't be on top. She really didn't. Yeah.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Well that's all for now. We'll be in Vegas this
- 56:09Speaker 2: weekend doing podcasts, so we'll have more content for you
- 56:12Speaker 2: next week, don't stress.
- 56:14Speaker 5: Yeah, and I never heard back from my Jonas source,
- 56:17Speaker 5: so I guess stand by next week for that.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Oh, we'll be on our tippy toes waiting. Yeah. We
- 56:25Speaker 2: love you so much, love you bite
