- 1:06Speaker 2: like to give my guests the opportunity to introduce themselves.
- 1:10Speaker 2: So sis, tell the people who you are, introduce yourself
- 1:13Speaker 2: to the newbies, and refresh yourself, you know with the
- 1:17Speaker 2: people that has always been a supporter of the show.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Hey, hey, y'all, how y'all doing?
- 1:23Speaker 1: This?
- 1:24Speaker 3: Is your girl?
- 1:24Speaker 4: Can we be the owner and CEO of Butterfly Thoughts,
- 1:31Speaker 4: where we help young women to just see things from
- 1:35Speaker 4: a different perspective, see things in a different light so
- 1:40Speaker 4: that they can live their life more prosperously.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You know, you've been on the show for a minute.
- 1:48Speaker 2: We have a segment, and our segment gonna come back.
- 1:51Speaker 2: You know, yes, I missed the coaches corner. We had
- 1:53Speaker 2: so much fun. Life happens, and life has been happening
- 1:57Speaker 2: to us all so we have learned a pivot and
- 2:01Speaker 2: do other things.
- 2:02Speaker 3: It's been good stuff. It's been good stuff.
- 2:05Speaker 4: We've been going and learning some more new things. So
- 2:09Speaker 4: you know we're gonna bring back another little flat to it.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Absolutely, so we don't get into this life love and
- 2:15Speaker 2: all this other shit, and then I'll get into some
- 2:17Speaker 2: new Kimmy be shit. You know. I would love to
- 2:23Speaker 2: ask this question. And the reason why I like this
- 2:27Speaker 2: question is I like to get the different perspectives when
- 2:29Speaker 2: it comes to this question. You're ready.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I'm ready, girl.
- 2:34Speaker 2: If you had to give your definition of life, what
- 2:40Speaker 2: would it be? And why?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Wow? My definition of life?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Who?
- 2:50Speaker 3: I will say this?
- 2:53Speaker 4: I think what's his name said it? The best life
- 2:58Speaker 4: is like a box of chocolates. You never know what
- 3:01Speaker 4: you're get.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Far As Gump, his mama said that right, life is
- 3:06Speaker 3: like a box of chocolate. You never know what you're
- 3:10Speaker 3: gonna get.
- 3:11Speaker 4: However, it is how you deal with it, is how
- 3:17Speaker 4: you make life better or upside down.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Because I'm glad that you say that, because
- 3:25Speaker 2: I don't really care for coconut. So you know, some
- 3:29Speaker 2: of those chocolates come and it's chocolate, but then you
- 3:32Speaker 2: get into it and it's coconut, and I could just see.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Me right right. Absolutely.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Sometimes you have scenarios and situations that you come across
- 3:45Speaker 2: in life, curve bars and stuff like that that may
- 3:48Speaker 2: taste like something that you just don't like.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I don't like.
- 3:51Speaker 2: That's a type of chocolate that you just don't like.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I'm not really big on dark chocolate, but it's better
- 3:57Speaker 2: for your.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Heart exactly, it is. Oh see, I can't do milk
- 4:04Speaker 4: chocolate no more. I used to be able to do it,
- 4:07Speaker 4: but now when I I can't do too much of
- 4:10Speaker 4: it because taste buzz is like, excuse me.
- 4:14Speaker 3: What we're doing? What we're doing, you know.
- 4:17Speaker 4: But dark chocolate is my thing, especially when it's mixed
- 4:22Speaker 4: with almonds or some type of hazel nut or something
- 4:26Speaker 4: like that.
- 4:26Speaker 3: It's just it's good. It tastes good to me. And
- 4:31Speaker 3: it's good for you because the nuts have, you know,
- 4:35Speaker 3: properties that is good for your body. The dark chocolate
- 4:38Speaker 3: have properties that is good for your body. So yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 3: that's a perfect combination for me.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Okay, I like it. I like it. Now, let's let's
- 4:49Speaker 2: talk about curve balls for a minute, because we all
- 4:53Speaker 2: have experienced those things. Life is still throwing some of
- 4:58Speaker 2: us some curve balls. And you have recently made a
- 5:01Speaker 2: pivot in your business. Yes, And that's a great segue.
- 5:05Speaker 2: So talk to someone who is listening that may be
- 5:09Speaker 2: on the verge of giving up because they are afraid,
- 5:14Speaker 2: are scared. I'm not gonna say afraid they're scared. I ain't.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Don't even stay scared, too.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Comfortable where they got.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Too comfortable and where they are to make that pivot,
- 5:26Speaker 2: because sometimes it's necessary in order to grow and become
- 5:30Speaker 2: the person that God wants us to be. So learn't
- 5:32Speaker 2: going to pivot? What would Kimmy be, Coach, kim tell
- 5:36Speaker 2: a listener who is feeling like they are stuck or
- 5:41Speaker 2: too comfortable to make that pivot. Right.
- 5:45Speaker 3: So I came up with a method, and it's called
- 5:50Speaker 3: the Stock method. Right.
- 5:53Speaker 4: And I came up with this method because in my
- 5:56Speaker 4: regular nine to five. I see people all day every
- 5:59Speaker 4: day coming out angry and frustrated and whatnot. And it's
- 6:04Speaker 4: basically what life is. It's basically, you know, things changing,
- 6:09Speaker 4: things not being.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Quite what they want it to be.
- 6:13Speaker 4: It's they're comfortable in one thing and not wanting that change.
- 6:20Speaker 3: So I just tell them, I'm.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Like, listen, stop, stop, breathe, take a deep breath and
- 6:30Speaker 4: allow your mind to just go for a minute. And
- 6:35Speaker 4: then here comes the old, which is observed. Observe the
- 6:40Speaker 4: things that brought you to this point of this frustration
- 6:44Speaker 4: that you're going through right now.
- 6:46Speaker 3: See what it is that.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Triggered you, and then the pe is through. There's three piece.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Before you get to those three piece, you go to
- 7:00Speaker 4: ask yourself one question, is there anything that I can
- 7:03Speaker 4: do about the situation.
- 7:05Speaker 3: If the answer is no, you're gonna pray and let
- 7:09Speaker 3: that then go okay.
- 7:13Speaker 4: If the answer is yes, this is where the three
- 7:17Speaker 4: p's come in. You're going to plan. You're going to
- 7:22Speaker 4: pray over that plan.
- 7:26Speaker 3: And allow.
- 7:29Speaker 4: The plan to go forward, which is be proceeding, proceeding
- 7:37Speaker 4: with the plan that you just prayed on, because again,
- 7:41Speaker 4: life without works is dead. We can't pray on something
- 7:47Speaker 4: that we're not planning to.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Put the work in for absolutely so.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Being that where we know that we already made the plan.
- 7:56Speaker 4: We prayed on the plan. Now we gotta proceed with
- 7:59Speaker 4: the plan. And when you proceed with the plan, the
- 8:04Speaker 4: things that you do not have to continue to make
- 8:07Speaker 4: it prosperous. God will put align those things.
- 8:11Speaker 3: For you so that God.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Will provide.
- 8:15Speaker 4: God will provide, and they'll go. The fourth p thank
- 8:18Speaker 4: you for that sis, because now I'm gonna add it.
- 8:23Speaker 2: No, the last pin is knowing that God will provide.
- 8:26Speaker 3: That's it. That's it.
- 8:28Speaker 4: So that's where my stop method comes into play. And
- 8:35Speaker 4: it works because again I have used it myself and
- 8:41Speaker 4: it has worked. I have given it to other people
- 8:46Speaker 4: and I know that that it works for them as well.
- 8:49Speaker 4: So you just have to know to say, you know what,
- 8:52Speaker 4: stop stop stop stop stoping like, let's not go no
- 8:56Speaker 4: further and let's take that deep breath, those couple deep
- 9:00Speaker 4: brands that we need to refocus our minds and allow
- 9:08Speaker 4: the things to just flow out our mind for a second,
- 9:12Speaker 4: and thank continue.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I love that. I love the stop method, and that
- 9:17Speaker 2: brings me to we are doing a self care challenge
- 9:21Speaker 2: because I have an event that I'm I have coming up.
- 9:25Speaker 2: It's not my event, but I would be a part
- 9:27Speaker 2: of it with the Weekend Girl of Bad and Ruge
- 9:30Speaker 2: and it's called Molossom and Brunch and it's like an experience.
- 9:34Speaker 2: You customize the experience. They're gonna have different ways of meditating, yoga,
- 9:42Speaker 2: all types of panel discussions about self love, self care
- 9:45Speaker 2: and things like that. And so they have started leading
- 9:49Speaker 2: up to the event a self care challenge. We are
- 9:52Speaker 2: in week with four, Yes Week four, and thank you
- 9:56Speaker 2: for being a part of it, and it's open. It
- 9:58Speaker 2: was open to everybody, but I wanted to talk about
- 10:01Speaker 2: how you have been sharing and posting and enjoying that
- 10:06Speaker 2: self care challenge because self care is something that we
- 10:12Speaker 2: all must go through in order to become the best
- 10:16Speaker 2: version of ourselves.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Absolutely, absolutely, So let's.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Talk about self care a little bit. I mean, and
- 10:23Speaker 2: and listen, listen. Self care is not all about getting
- 10:27Speaker 2: your nails in, your haird done and stuff like that. Yes,
- 10:29Speaker 2: I do that because my mama raised me to don't
- 10:33Speaker 2: leave your house looking on any kind of way, right,
- 10:36Speaker 2: and it makes me feel good, But that's not the
- 10:39Speaker 2: that's not the overall concept of self care.
- 10:44Speaker 3: That's just the tip of the iceberg.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Doing your hair, doing your nails, doing you know, these
- 10:50Speaker 4: little detail therapy. That's just yeah, retail therapy. That's just
- 10:54Speaker 4: the tip of the iceberg.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's deeper, much deeper than that.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It's much much deeper than that.
- 11:00Speaker 4: And with this challenge that we were that we were
- 11:03Speaker 4: on it, it got kind of deep because I'm like,
- 11:07Speaker 4: there are things that I never thought about that could
- 11:10Speaker 4: be that it's self care, but nobody thinks about these things.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Trying a new hobby.
- 11:18Speaker 4: That was what that was yesterday's right, So that was
- 11:23Speaker 4: that was good in itself, And I had to post
- 11:27Speaker 4: it in a way where there was two different things
- 11:30Speaker 4: going on at the same time, because I wanted to
- 11:34Speaker 4: show people that, yeah, you can be this in the.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Background and in the forefront, but in the back you
- 11:42Speaker 3: may want to do something a little different, so you
- 11:44Speaker 3: come up with something else, you know what I mean.
- 11:47Speaker 3: So I just love the fact that, you know, these
- 11:54Speaker 3: self care challenges went deeper than just the norm love.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I think for me, my favorite thus far is just
- 12:06Speaker 2: getting outside, taking a walk, becoming one with nature. And
- 12:10Speaker 2: I do grounding, so I love to go outside and
- 12:12Speaker 2: stick my feet in the ground. Yeah. I used to
- 12:15Speaker 2: have trees in my backyard, but I live in Louisiana
- 12:17Speaker 2: and so we have to get them trees cut down
- 12:19Speaker 2: because of hurricanes blessed right. But I have no problem
- 12:22Speaker 2: hugging a tree. It centers you. It gives that magnetic
- 12:27Speaker 2: pull of the of the earth, right, calm your nervous system.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, it helps with.
- 12:34Speaker 2: That that feel good drug what it's called endorphinsdorphins. Yep.
- 12:40Speaker 2: So I'm glad that Simone and Sierra and Miss Pam
- 12:45Speaker 2: and so many others that are on her team came
- 12:49Speaker 2: up with the Blossoming Brunch and the self prayer challenge
- 12:53Speaker 2: because we go through we do challenges all the time
- 12:56Speaker 2: in our community. Yeah.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, because I have to. You always have to
- 13:02Speaker 4: be challenging yourself. Yes, because you need to be challenging yourself.
- 13:06Speaker 3: You're going to stay stagnant, You're going to stay stuck,
- 13:10Speaker 3: and we need not to be being stuck. We need
- 13:13Speaker 3: to keep ourselves going.
- 13:16Speaker 4: We need to always challenge ourselves so that not only
- 13:18Speaker 4: can we keep going in this thing called life, but in.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Order for our self to elevate.
- 13:27Speaker 2: That's what I was just about to say in order
- 13:29Speaker 2: to have any type of personal growth and elevation, you
- 13:35Speaker 2: have to challenge, challenge yourself.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Got to I'm.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Getting ready to challenge myself the whole month of uh.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna do it in March. I really
- 13:43Speaker 2: think I'm gonna do it in March because I have
- 13:45Speaker 2: to get back on my juicing. I have not juiced
- 13:48Speaker 2: any this year and I feel lost without my juice.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Oh boy, so we got to be on this challenge, girl.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I think that you know what, I may do it
- 14:00Speaker 2: for the month of April because I just thought about it. Mark,
- 14:04Speaker 2: It's Carnival to Time here, it's Marty Gross season here. Yeah. Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 2: we're gonna do it in April. Let's let's do it
- 14:13Speaker 2: for April. So if anybody is that's listening who would
- 14:17Speaker 2: like to be a part of the challenge, send an
- 14:19Speaker 2: email to Kicking In with Kiki Media at gmail dot com.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Don't forget that there's no g on kicking I will
- 14:27Speaker 2: put that in the show notes so you can send
- 14:30Speaker 2: in your request. It is gonna be totally free. But
- 14:34Speaker 2: what we do is holding each other accountable. We have
- 14:37Speaker 2: like a community. We'll probably do some zooms or whatever
- 14:40Speaker 2: just to tap in with each other to see how
- 14:42Speaker 2: you feeling, because these challenges can get hard, especially with
- 14:45Speaker 2: the juicing challenge, because if you're not drinking enough juice
- 14:49Speaker 2: or you know, getting enough nutrients or whatever, gonna be
- 14:53Speaker 2: Grupping's hail by day three.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, absolutely.
- 14:58Speaker 2: When we dig challenge to quit at the Day three.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Girl, but the juice challenge with no with no food
- 15:07Speaker 4: at all.
- 15:08Speaker 2: She did get We could do salads though, but it
- 15:12Speaker 2: was all raw food.
- 15:16Speaker 3: There was no cook food soever, and like I had.
- 15:21Speaker 2: That juice would have been nasty for Day three girl challenge.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Y'all need to tap into Lady Key. I don't know
- 15:30Speaker 2: when she's doing another challenge. She is on Instagram. I
- 15:33Speaker 2: will put her information in the show notes as well.
- 15:36Speaker 2: She is an amazing juice specialist, a juice therapist, juice ologists.
- 15:42Speaker 4: She's all the three, all all the three is amazing.
- 15:48Speaker 4: So would like literally break things down for you where
- 15:53Speaker 4: it makes sense to you and make you understand or
- 15:56Speaker 4: help you to understand that the things that we on
- 16:00Speaker 4: a day.
- 16:00Speaker 3: To day basis, it's not good for us. Some of
- 16:04Speaker 3: these things.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Made my steps on the scale today at the doctor's office,
- 16:08Speaker 2: and I was like, Okay, Okay, Yeah, I mean not
- 16:13Speaker 2: only I'm juicing. I need to make sure that I
- 16:16Speaker 2: stay healthy and I'm not at a bad I'm not
- 16:19Speaker 2: nowhere on the borderline of being hurt for a harmful
- 16:23Speaker 2: for myself or my health.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And I think it's because you know, when you when
- 16:27Speaker 2: you are at peace and you're not stressed about anything,
- 16:31Speaker 2: you tend to you tend to have a little happy
- 16:33Speaker 2: way on you.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, absolutely, absolutely, right Now, let's.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Talk about it. Let's talk about the pivot that you've made.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Oh yes, tell the people.
- 16:51Speaker 4: So it's actually an addition to what I've been doing.
- 16:55Speaker 4: I'm still the perspective coach. How I have recently became
- 17:04Speaker 4: certified as.
- 17:06Speaker 3: A journal therapy coach. What does that mean? Oh so though,
- 17:16Speaker 3: thank you, thank you, thank you. What does that mean?
- 17:20Speaker 4: That means everything that I do, any programs that I do,
- 17:25Speaker 4: any you know, one on one coaching that I do,
- 17:31Speaker 4: anything like that. It is always going to be rooted
- 17:34Speaker 4: in journaling. It's going to be rooted in journaling because,
- 17:40Speaker 4: first of all, that's what helped me on my journey
- 17:43Speaker 4: because I was doing it not even knowing that I.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Was doing it.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Right, I've been man, I have so many journals. I
- 17:50Speaker 2: have journal I didn't, like you said, I didn't know it.
- 17:55Speaker 2: I wasn't using a journal though I would always be
- 17:57Speaker 2: the best has to have a notebook like notebook and
- 18:01Speaker 2: we went to the I could be at the grocery store.
- 18:04Speaker 2: I'm going to that now that has like the the
- 18:07Speaker 2: uh school private your school? Ye, can you just buy
- 18:12Speaker 2: me this notebook?
- 18:13Speaker 3: Yep?
- 18:13Speaker 4: That and and we'll be happy campus with just the notebook.
- 18:18Speaker 2: M hm. Ahead. I'm not not to cut you off,
- 18:21Speaker 2: but I just want to let you know that I'm
- 18:23Speaker 2: a Johnal girl too. Yes.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Yes, there's so many times I go into like Family
- 18:28Speaker 4: Dollar or Dollar Try, and I cannot go in there
- 18:33Speaker 4: without going through the school supply section or the art sections,
- 18:37Speaker 4: just to see what they got going on. Because again,
- 18:40Speaker 4: I'm a very I'm very journal I'm very creative.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I like to do a lot of creative stuff.
- 18:47Speaker 4: But journals, I'm always getting a journal book or some
- 18:50Speaker 4: type of notebook because I know that for me it
- 18:55Speaker 4: is therapeutic mm hmm. And hence why it's a journal
- 19:00Speaker 4: therapy coach. Right, I love it because it is such
- 19:05Speaker 4: therapy for your mind, for your body, for your soul.
- 19:09Speaker 4: Because if your mind is off kiltered, the rest of
- 19:13Speaker 4: your body is going to be off kiltered.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Absolutely. So I know a couple of people who are
- 19:18Speaker 2: not into journaling. What can you say to these people?
- 19:23Speaker 3: I just keep telling them, right, write it out.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Because you try it, just try it, try it. You
- 19:31Speaker 2: may need got it.
- 19:34Speaker 4: And there are guided journals. I have seven of them.
- 19:40Speaker 2: You may have to have a prompt, a journal prompts
- 19:42Speaker 2: you might need to write.
- 19:44Speaker 4: About exactly, and you could always Again, if you don't
- 19:49Speaker 4: have a guided journal, you can always go on Google Chat,
- 19:55Speaker 4: GPT whatever, put it in. Give me some journal prompts
- 20:01Speaker 4: mm hm, and they will it will give you journal
- 20:06Speaker 4: prompts and you just take one of them and just
- 20:08Speaker 4: start writing.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I don't even go a step further than that. Write
- 20:13Speaker 2: about how you're feeling.
- 20:15Speaker 3: That part.
- 20:17Speaker 2: That's plain and simple. You might get distracted, but allow
- 20:21Speaker 2: that say that I am I am writing, but I'm
- 20:25Speaker 2: thinking about cheese right now.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 20:32Speaker 4: And what you're thinking, because you never know where that
- 20:36Speaker 4: first line is going to take you.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Absolutely absolutely, because sometimes.
- 20:42Speaker 4: It will take you from just the one sentence line.
- 20:45Speaker 3: And even if you're like, I don't know what else
- 20:48Speaker 3: to write, write that.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I don't know where to start.
- 20:53Speaker 4: I don't know where to start write that, write anything,
- 20:57Speaker 4: because guess what, when you start to God will drop
- 21:01Speaker 4: the things in your heart that you need to write about.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Absolutely literally.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I love that somewhere.
- 21:09Speaker 2: You have to start, You have to put forth in effort.
- 21:12Speaker 4: That part, because once again, prayers without works is dead.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Faith is there is dead anything in my life that
- 21:26Speaker 2: is not faith based. I don't really focus too much
- 21:31Speaker 2: on it because they don't have nothing to do with me.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I love God? What's wrong with What's wrong with you?
- 21:41Speaker 2: Shout out of Erica Camel.
- 21:47Speaker 3: We talk about this right.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Here is probably gonna give a little, little little heavy
- 21:54Speaker 2: We're moving from the life to the love portion.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 21:58Speaker 2: And I want to talk a little bit about friendship
- 22:00Speaker 2: versus sisterhood, because people can tell you all day long,
- 22:06Speaker 2: I love you sis, I call you sis, and then
- 22:11Speaker 2: ain't no substance behind it. It's just it sounds good,
- 22:15Speaker 2: right right, But right when it comes to love and friendship,
- 22:23Speaker 2: how do you feel about the two those two words
- 22:27Speaker 2: in the same sentence, How would you describe them or
- 22:30Speaker 2: what should those characteristics look like?
- 22:33Speaker 3: Hmmm?
- 22:35Speaker 2: And I'll say your top three because we can talk
- 22:37Speaker 2: about this all day. I'm gonna do the top The
- 22:40Speaker 2: top three characteristics of a friend for you would be
- 22:44Speaker 2: what when it comes to love.
- 22:47Speaker 3: First of all, they gotta have some type of faith.
- 22:53Speaker 4: They have to have some type of faith, whether it's
- 22:58Speaker 4: a friend, whether it's a sister, whether it's a lover,
- 23:03Speaker 4: regardless to what. If you're going to be around me,
- 23:07Speaker 4: you have to have some type of faith in your
- 23:10Speaker 4: heart for yourself, for God, and know that God is
- 23:17Speaker 4: not going to put nothing in front of you that
- 23:21Speaker 4: is not going to take you somewhere. But you have
- 23:25Speaker 4: to be grounded in some type of faith.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I like that number two.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Number two someone who is hot with themselves. What do
- 23:43Speaker 3: I mean?
- 23:44Speaker 2: Hot?
- 23:46Speaker 3: Honest, open, and transparent? Kay?
- 23:54Speaker 4: Because those three things right there, hm hmm. It will
- 24:03Speaker 4: as long as you're doing it for yourself first.
- 24:08Speaker 3: You can do that with.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Anybody, anybody. It comes second nature. It becomes because and
- 24:13Speaker 2: we always say this, like if you go back and
- 24:16Speaker 2: listen to other episodes of the podcast or you have
- 24:19Speaker 2: been a listener of the podcast, you know that me
- 24:21Speaker 2: and Kim we have the coach's corner and we always
- 24:24Speaker 2: would say get hot, which is get hot, which that
- 24:29Speaker 2: means be honest, open, and transparent with yourself, because if
- 24:34Speaker 2: you're not able to do that with yourself, you won't
- 24:36Speaker 2: be able to do that with anybody else.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Anybody, it don't matter who they are. It don't matter
- 24:42Speaker 3: who they are, you would not be able to be open,
- 24:47Speaker 3: honest and transparent with them.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Right Because I like that? I like it, you know
- 24:54Speaker 2: I like it. And then number three.
- 24:56Speaker 3: And number surreeum.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Number three, I will say, someone who is loving, loving,
- 25:17Speaker 4: and have.
- 25:18Speaker 3: A heart of just love to share with people.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I love that. I like that. I like My three
- 25:32Speaker 2: character reasons of a friend is integrity. Mm hmmm.
- 25:43Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 25:44Speaker 2: You have to be compassionate mm hmmm. And we have
- 25:50Speaker 2: to be able to laugh together. Oh yes, I mean,
- 25:54Speaker 2: and I'll say those because at a point in my life,
- 25:58Speaker 2: the people that are in my life, God is that
- 26:01Speaker 2: I don't that's a given. I don't have to say.
- 26:03Speaker 2: That is a correct characteristic that I need, characteristic that
- 26:07Speaker 2: I need in a friendship because everything that I do
- 26:10Speaker 2: is is centered around my love for God.
- 26:12Speaker 3: So God correct.
- 26:14Speaker 2: But but yeah, we have to be able to have
- 26:17Speaker 2: because I'm goofy. You already know we're.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Gonna laugh once all the time.
- 26:21Speaker 2: We're gonna play and we're gonna be real with each other.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Absolutely, absolutely, yeah, because that's how we elevate, that's how
- 26:30Speaker 4: we roll.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I think for me those would be the top
- 26:34Speaker 2: the top three. You have to be and you have
- 26:36Speaker 2: to have integrity, yeah, definitely have to be compassionate mm hmm.
- 26:41Speaker 2: And then you what I said the last one one. Oh,
- 26:46Speaker 2: we have to be able to laugh laugh, you know,
- 26:49Speaker 2: he said, don't take, don't talk.
- 26:51Speaker 3: And we both could be silly all the time, being
- 26:55Speaker 3: silly and.
- 26:56Speaker 2: All the time, Oh my god, but laughter make.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Laughter is medicine to the soul.
- 27:04Speaker 4: And if you if you can't laugh, why why be
- 27:09Speaker 4: with you while we around you, because you just.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Showing how grumpy you could be.
- 27:14Speaker 2: We don't want I'm not doing that. I've been around
- 27:17Speaker 2: people who have made me sick to my stomach because
- 27:22Speaker 2: they were so uptight or they were so hypocritical that
- 27:26Speaker 2: I just didn't want to be around them. I'm an impath,
- 27:29Speaker 2: so I feel extremely heavy mm hmm. I can feel
- 27:34Speaker 2: you before you even get close to me. I can
- 27:36Speaker 2: walk in the room and know who's having a good
- 27:38Speaker 2: day versus who's having a bad day, and it's like, Lord,
- 27:41Speaker 2: please put me on the side of the person that's
- 27:44Speaker 2: actually having a good day, because I don't want to
- 27:46Speaker 2: I don't want to get none of that that other
- 27:48Speaker 2: end right.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Right, And sometimes God is gonna use you to help
- 27:55Speaker 4: those people see a brighter day too.
- 27:57Speaker 2: And he used me every day every time I talk.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I talk to people all day every day, hence the podcast.
- 28:04Speaker 2: But I do that. That's my job too. So I
- 28:09Speaker 2: I have found myself hearing that back from people.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Your tone has calmed me all the way down because
- 28:17Speaker 2: I was so furious when I got on this phone.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Yes, yes, and it is.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I mean, how you say stuff matters.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it does.
- 28:28Speaker 2: How you say matter. And I feel like another thing
- 28:32Speaker 2: that should go along with a characteristic of a friend
- 28:35Speaker 2: friend when it comes to love, should be open communication.
- 28:42Speaker 3: That's it.
- 28:45Speaker 4: You're not communicating with yourself. You can't communicate with nobody
- 28:48Speaker 4: else too.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but how can you call yourself a friend and
- 28:52Speaker 2: you can't talk to the person that you say that
- 28:54Speaker 2: you're friends.
- 28:55Speaker 3: With because they can't talk to themselves.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but sometimes talking to yourself is insane. It's insane
- 29:03Speaker 2: for a minute, because we could talk, we could talk
- 29:04Speaker 2: to ourselves all day long. But if you don't have
- 29:06Speaker 2: like an outlet to somebody to speak back to you,
- 29:11Speaker 2: if you're not speaking to God and hearing from the
- 29:13Speaker 2: voice of God, that's one thing. But if you just
- 29:14Speaker 2: talking to yourself and you answer yourself and you you you,
- 29:18Speaker 2: you guess, go see somebody because that's normal.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Listen, listen sometimes listen.
- 29:27Speaker 3: I do it from time to time.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I mean, but at some point we're gonna have some
- 29:33Speaker 2: type of social interaction.
- 29:35Speaker 3: That is wealthy.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, So we talked about friendship and what friendship
- 29:42Speaker 2: versus sisterhood. Now, what would be your top three characteristics
- 29:48Speaker 2: or sisterhood. I believe that a sisterhood is deeper than
- 29:53Speaker 2: a friendship. Yeah, you need to have a friendship in
- 29:56Speaker 2: order to form that sisterhood. But for me, go ahead, God,
- 30:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna write yours down and then I'm I'm gonna
- 30:03Speaker 2: tell you mine.
- 30:05Speaker 4: I mean, my characteristics are the same as well. However,
- 30:13Speaker 4: I should be able to pick up a phone and say, yo, sis,
- 30:19Speaker 4: I really need you right now, you know what I mean,
- 30:23Speaker 4: and not feel no way that I'm you know, disturbing
- 30:29Speaker 4: you or whatever the case is. Not feeling no way
- 30:33Speaker 4: because you making me feel some type of way like, oh,
- 30:36Speaker 4: like what you need now, or not even answering my
- 30:39Speaker 4: phone call at all, or not even texting me backstay
- 30:44Speaker 4: and oh, I'm gonna call you right back, you know,
- 30:48Speaker 4: like it's just a deeper connection to me if you're
- 30:53Speaker 4: gonna be around me period. You still need to be
- 30:57Speaker 4: able to be hot with yourself. You still need to
- 30:59Speaker 4: be able to love, like you said, you need to
- 31:01Speaker 4: be able to laugh. You still need all of those characteristics,
- 31:06Speaker 4: all of those that we already discussed.
- 31:08Speaker 3: We still need those to be around me. And you
- 31:11Speaker 3: have to have an open mind.
- 31:15Speaker 4: To know that you We can make it. We can
- 31:22Speaker 4: make it further than where we are.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Mm hmm. For me, I don't need you to be
- 31:28Speaker 2: jealous hearted.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Oh, but that that goes without saying now.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Sometimes you gotta say it because some people will say
- 31:36Speaker 2: that they're your sister and be looking at you like, uh, yeah,
- 31:39Speaker 2: you're telling me all this stuff that you want to do,
- 31:41Speaker 2: But I'm gonna pray that it don't happen.
- 31:44Speaker 3: That's true too, mm hmm.
- 31:46Speaker 2: But I need I need you to be I need
- 31:48Speaker 2: I need you to be you. You have to be
- 31:51Speaker 2: open enough to say I want my sister to win
- 31:57Speaker 2: and be okay with that so and be with that
- 32:00Speaker 2: jealous spirit, jealous hearted. I can't do that. And I
- 32:05Speaker 2: think for a sisterhood, in order for it to work
- 32:07Speaker 2: and grow, you cannot have that type of mentality or mindset.
- 32:12Speaker 2: And you also have to love without limits mmmm, love
- 32:18Speaker 2: without expectations, love without compromise, and you are also you
- 32:25Speaker 2: also have to be able to give tough love.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Yes, yes, like this mm hmm.
- 32:35Speaker 2: You know what you did was wrong. I want you
- 32:39Speaker 2: to know that I saw you mm hmmm, it was wrong.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Let's let's see how we can feel. Let's
- 32:48Speaker 2: and not be not be so judgmental and you know,
- 32:51Speaker 2: hypocritical putting your mouth on folks. I just, I just,
- 32:55Speaker 2: I don't, I don't have the time, nonsense, I don't.
- 32:59Speaker 3: I call it.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Yeah, is listening? Just type it in the comments. What
- 33:08Speaker 2: are your what are your characteristics of a friendship versus
- 33:10Speaker 2: a sisterhood? I would love to know, And if you
- 33:13Speaker 2: want to stay anonymous, just send the email and put
- 33:16Speaker 2: it down in the show notes. It will be there.
- 33:18Speaker 2: But I just wanted to tap in about sisterhood and
- 33:22Speaker 2: versus friendship because you know, I feel like sometimes you
- 33:26Speaker 2: outgrow people and sometimes they outgrow you. And it's okay.
- 33:29Speaker 2: There's nothing that's there's nothing, no animosity. I want you
- 33:34Speaker 2: to win. We just ain't on the same team anymore.
- 33:37Speaker 3: And that and it's okay because not everybody can go
- 33:42Speaker 3: with you.
- 33:43Speaker 2: And you can't go with everybody.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Let's you can't go with everybody. There are certain people
- 33:49Speaker 3: that are made in your life or brought into your
- 33:52Speaker 3: life for a season none okay, And when they are
- 33:58Speaker 3: in your life for that season, sometimes they will divert
- 34:05Speaker 3: and y'all may not speak as much. Y'all might not
- 34:09Speaker 3: go and do the same things y'all were doing. Y'all
- 34:12Speaker 3: might have a time of or a season of being
- 34:16Speaker 3: a part.
- 34:18Speaker 4: But then y'all may have a season where y'all come
- 34:21Speaker 4: back together because there is something in one of your
- 34:24Speaker 4: lives or both of your lives that y'all.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Need to be together at that moment. It is okay,
- 34:32Speaker 3: It is okay to have those seasons. But you know that.
- 34:41Speaker 4: God is only going to put the people in your
- 34:44Speaker 4: life that you need at that time.
- 34:46Speaker 2: And that is how it's not If it's not from God,
- 34:50Speaker 2: I don't want it.
- 34:51Speaker 3: I don't want it.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't want it. And I say and I
- 34:55Speaker 2: say that, and we all have been I mean, I'm
- 34:58Speaker 2: not perfect and I'm not trying to be. I God
- 35:01Speaker 2: knows my heart and and I you know, I'm I'm
- 35:04Speaker 2: real enough with myself to know that I am still human.
- 35:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna make mistakes, It's gonna have absolutely, But when
- 35:11Speaker 2: it comes to like you know, life, love and all
- 35:14Speaker 2: that other you know what that we're talking about. Mm hmm,
- 35:17Speaker 2: some things that you just can't overlook. Like I need
- 35:21Speaker 2: my friends to be able to pray with me and
- 35:23Speaker 2: for me.
- 35:24Speaker 3: And for me. I need them to pray, no, not
- 35:27Speaker 3: pray on me.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Absolutely, I need them to sense and I and I'm
- 35:32Speaker 2: I'm i'mna put it out there. I'm spoiled. When my
- 35:34Speaker 2: friends got me spoiled, my family has me spoiled. So
- 35:39Speaker 2: if you're not willing and I'm not talking about in
- 35:41Speaker 2: a bad way, I'm not talking about you gotta buy
- 35:43Speaker 2: me stuff and be materialistic with time, yep, attention m
- 35:51Speaker 2: praying for me and with me yep, and just you know,
- 35:56Speaker 2: saving space for me. Let me put it like that,
- 35:58Speaker 2: just making rooms. I need the people in my life
- 36:01Speaker 2: to make room for me as I make room for.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Them, for them.
- 36:05Speaker 2: And I'm not talking about we got to talk every day.
- 36:08Speaker 2: We ain't got to see each other. I have friends
- 36:09Speaker 2: that have been friends with since since elementary school. Tim
- 36:14Speaker 2: once or twice a year. Ain't nothing happened, yep yep.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Never had a falling out or anything anything.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Yep yep.
- 36:24Speaker 2: But I know that if I call, they there, if
- 36:30Speaker 2: they call me, they know that I'm there.
- 36:33Speaker 3: That's right, that's right.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Those are the type of friendships that I have and
- 36:37Speaker 2: that I want because I'm not a firm believer in
- 36:40Speaker 2: this no new friends, No new friends, because you might
- 36:44Speaker 2: miss out on some blessings saying that you don't want
- 36:47Speaker 2: to be open to new friendships. Asked for that discernment
- 36:51Speaker 2: mm hm, and keep it moving.
- 36:54Speaker 3: That's it.
- 36:55Speaker 4: If I had said that, like, I've been through some
- 36:58Speaker 4: friendships here, gay, I've been through some some rough friendships.
- 37:04Speaker 4: And how do I said, no new friends. You wouldn't
- 37:08Speaker 4: be together, you wouldn't know each other. I wouldn't know
- 37:13Speaker 4: the people that I know now that are close to
- 37:15Speaker 4: me right now, I wouldn't know them right and I
- 37:19Speaker 4: wouldn't like when I tell you, these are my legit
- 37:23Speaker 4: friends my legit sisters.
- 37:27Speaker 3: They know when something is wrong with me listen and
- 37:32Speaker 3: met them on social media.
- 37:33Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. And that's what I'm saying. It's
- 37:35Speaker 2: like you could tell you know that it's God, because
- 37:38Speaker 2: you know, I was coming from a doctor's appointment today
- 37:41Speaker 2: and one of one of one of my one of
- 37:42Speaker 2: my sisters just say, hey, just checking in on you.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Ain't heard from y'all?
- 37:46Speaker 3: Love you right.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Like that means so much to me to know that
- 37:52Speaker 2: I crossed somebody's mind enough for them to say, let
- 37:56Speaker 2: me just check in on Kiki. And I make a
- 37:59Speaker 2: point to do that. When God drop somebody in my spirit,
- 38:01Speaker 2: I make a point to reach out to them. If
- 38:04Speaker 2: I don't reach out, I'm sitting up a prayer for them.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Because sometimes we intervene on behalf of our friends and
- 38:11Speaker 2: and stop some destruction from happening. Sometimes people intervene and
- 38:16Speaker 2: save us from.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Going through some.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Exactly. So I just wanted to tap in a little
- 38:23Speaker 2: bit about that. So we're gonna get into all the
- 38:25Speaker 2: other ship.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Yes, let's do it.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Like, what's what's going on with you? Man? I know
- 38:30Speaker 2: you you you you done, got you done? Become a
- 38:34Speaker 2: certified journal, you know, therapist, and you know you just
- 38:39Speaker 2: you done did some uh you know book new books
- 38:42Speaker 2: and all.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Yeah, And I'm glad you brought up the new bugs.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Because these are prayer journals that I actually created myself.
- 38:59Speaker 4: So I bought the I bought the actual notebooks and
- 39:02Speaker 4: I actually designed them myself. So the thing with this,
- 39:08Speaker 4: I'm trying it out on an event that I'm gonna
- 39:11Speaker 4: be a part of this weekend, which just so happens
- 39:16Speaker 4: to be another self care event, you know what I mean.
- 39:21Speaker 4: So it came full circle with the challenge that we're doing,
- 39:25Speaker 4: the event that Kiki's having and the event that I
- 39:29Speaker 4: am a part of, and they're all about self care.
- 39:33Speaker 4: It is called Gallatines, a pajama party.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Nice.
- 39:39Speaker 4: We're gonna have girls come in together, like minded individuals
- 39:44Speaker 4: and we're just gonna talk, have a good time, have
- 39:48Speaker 4: some food, have some bubbly.
- 39:51Speaker 3: And just enjoy the night, you know. So it's gonna
- 39:55Speaker 3: be great.
- 39:56Speaker 4: And I decided that I'm gonna create these prayer dream
- 40:00Speaker 4: so that, you know, just to give it a little something.
- 40:04Speaker 3: So I'm gonna see how.
- 40:07Speaker 4: The girls react to it, see how they're gonna do
- 40:10Speaker 4: with it.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Before I put it out to the public.
- 40:14Speaker 4: But you God, I enjoy creating them, so yeah, I
- 40:22Speaker 4: may do it anyways, but we want to see what
- 40:25Speaker 4: God says, you know exactly.
- 40:29Speaker 3: I had a good time creating them, you know.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Absolutely, and I love that. So tell the people that's
- 40:35Speaker 2: listening who would like to work with you, how they
- 40:37Speaker 2: can work with.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Be Okay, So right now I take clarity calls where
- 40:45Speaker 4: we just have girl talk, have girl talk and just
- 40:52Speaker 4: let's let your thoughts fly, let your feelings fly. There's
- 40:57Speaker 4: no judgment, there's no judgment, and you know, I will
- 41:02Speaker 4: help you to navigate through your feelings and help you
- 41:05Speaker 4: to navigate through your thoughts and you know, give you
- 41:10Speaker 4: some things, some strategies that you can be able to
- 41:16Speaker 4: take with you and continue, you know, and you know,
- 41:21Speaker 4: start your healing process or just start whatever it is
- 41:25Speaker 4: making sense of.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Maybe your life at this moment is maybe a chaotic,
- 41:30Speaker 3: you know, but you know, let let's come talk with me.
- 41:34Speaker 3: You can catch me on IG.
- 41:37Speaker 4: I am I A am butterfly thoughts. I am butterfly
- 41:43Speaker 4: thoughts on IG or actually on all social media platforms,
- 41:48Speaker 4: so you can hit me up on anyone, hit me
- 41:50Speaker 4: in my DM.
- 41:52Speaker 3: And let me know what you need.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Also, you can get my books or any of my
- 41:59Speaker 4: seven journal or all of myself in journals on my
- 42:06Speaker 4: website Butterfly Thoughts l LC dot com Butterfly Thoughts LLC
- 42:13Speaker 4: dot com, and you scroll down and you'll see all
- 42:16Speaker 4: my books there. I have something for everyone.
- 42:21Speaker 2: I have.
- 42:23Speaker 4: Journals where you, as adults, we can tap back into
- 42:26Speaker 4: our inner child. I have Gratitude Surrender where it will
- 42:32Speaker 4: help you and it has journal prompts in them just
- 42:35Speaker 4: to help you to.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Know where to start right.
- 42:39Speaker 4: And then I also have Affirmation coloring book for children
- 42:45Speaker 4: to help them to affirm themselves and especially if they're
- 42:51Speaker 4: being bullied, especially if they're being teased and all of
- 42:55Speaker 4: these things, because this is what happens in school, right,
- 42:58Speaker 4: and we need our children to affirm themselves and be
- 43:04Speaker 4: ten toes.
- 43:04Speaker 3: Down in who they they are. And if we can
- 43:09Speaker 3: get them to know understand that and know that from
- 43:12Speaker 3: a very young age, when they become our age, they're
- 43:15Speaker 3: not going to.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Have to go through the things that we're going through
- 43:18Speaker 4: now exactly now learning how to affirm ourselves now, learning
- 43:25Speaker 4: how to be comfortable in our skin.
- 43:28Speaker 3: So I'm trying, like.
- 43:30Speaker 4: With this book I wanted to get the younger ones, like,
- 43:33Speaker 4: let's go there. You know, now, as adults, we have
- 43:36Speaker 4: to tap back into our inner child in order to
- 43:40Speaker 4: heal what we went through in our inner in our childhood, right,
- 43:45Speaker 4: so you know, let's let's start with the babies and
- 43:48Speaker 4: in the same time, let's you know, tap into that
- 43:51Speaker 4: inner child and let us heal as well.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Absolutely, I love that guys. All of her information would
- 43:58Speaker 2: be in the show notes, so you can tap in
- 44:01Speaker 2: with coach Kimmy b to see if she's a perfect
- 44:05Speaker 2: fit for you. All right, fit for you. I just
- 44:07Speaker 2: book a clarity call so you can figure out where
- 44:10Speaker 2: to start. When it comes to journal therapy, it works, y'all.
- 44:14Speaker 2: I've been doing it forever. I went on a healing
- 44:16Speaker 2: journey four years ago, and without journaling, I probably wouldn't
- 44:24Speaker 2: be this version of myself because some of the things
- 44:27Speaker 2: that I've written, I had to go back and read
- 44:29Speaker 2: it and I was like, wow, you were in a
- 44:31Speaker 2: dark place that day. M hm, wow, dang you you
- 44:34Speaker 2: really you inspired me by reading this.
- 44:37Speaker 3: You wrote this, yep.
- 44:40Speaker 2: So, and then you can keep journal secret journals like
- 44:43Speaker 2: where you go in write something and throw it away yep.
- 44:48Speaker 3: You know that.
- 44:49Speaker 4: That's also another level of therapy, therapy in itself, because
- 44:55Speaker 4: sometimes you don't want to hold onto things, and I
- 44:58Speaker 4: get it. It's good to hold on to them though,
- 45:02Speaker 4: just so that once you come out of that space
- 45:05Speaker 4: and you do get that feeling of you wanted to
- 45:08Speaker 4: see where you will see where your mind is. You
- 45:11Speaker 4: can see how much you have grown and how much
- 45:14Speaker 4: you have elevated from that place.
- 45:16Speaker 3: So that's why it's good to know that.
- 45:18Speaker 4: But if say, for instance, you want to you have
- 45:24Speaker 4: some malice in your heart for somebody, and you want
- 45:26Speaker 4: to get rid of that malice, right, you write, you write,
- 45:30Speaker 4: say you write a letter for that person, and but
- 45:35Speaker 4: you're not going to actually send it to that person.
- 45:37Speaker 4: You're still gonna write the letter, but now you can
- 45:40Speaker 4: burn it because now you're gonna burn all your feelings.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Towards that person, right, you know, burn.
- 45:46Speaker 4: It, throw it in the trash, rip it up, throw
- 45:50Speaker 4: it down the toilet, flush it down the toilet. It's
- 45:53Speaker 4: all going away. So that that will definitely help in
- 45:59Speaker 4: those types of stuff situations.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Right, Oh, I love that.
- 46:02Speaker 3: M h, yeah, I love that.
- 46:06Speaker 2: I love that. Well, Sis, This is always a pleasure,
- 46:12Speaker 2: is always a pleasure when you come through. Always any
- 46:19Speaker 2: last words you would like to speak on. We talked
- 46:22Speaker 2: about life, we talked about love. We just tapped into
- 46:26Speaker 2: all that other shit just a little bit. But is
- 46:28Speaker 2: there anything else you want to speak about on those
- 46:31Speaker 2: three topics? That is the theme for this season's podcast.
- 46:35Speaker 4: I just want to say, there's a lot of chaos
- 46:38Speaker 4: going on right now around us. Focus on self, Focus
- 46:46Speaker 4: on the things that you know you need to do,
- 46:49Speaker 4: and allow all that other noise to just go away.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Do not focus on that extra noise because at the
- 47:00Speaker 3: end of the day, it is not gonna do us
- 47:03Speaker 3: no good.
- 47:04Speaker 4: And when when you find yourself getting overwhelmed, pull out
- 47:09Speaker 4: the stop method.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Trust me, it works. Stop everything around you. If you're
- 47:16Speaker 3: feeling overwhelmed, take a couple of deep breaths and let
- 47:21Speaker 3: your mind just go and then go into that observing
- 47:26Speaker 3: seeing what brought you to.
- 47:28Speaker 4: That place, Write it down, journal it out. Ask yourself
- 47:35Speaker 4: that question, can I do anything about it? If the
- 47:39Speaker 4: answer is no, again pray and let it go. If
- 47:43Speaker 4: the answer is yes, make the plan. Pray on the plan,
- 47:48Speaker 4: proceed with the.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Plan and know that God would provide you.
- 47:52Speaker 3: And know that God yes, and it will be okay.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Everything is going to work out for your good.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Absolutely believe in it and have trust in it and
- 48:09Speaker 4: have faith in it.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Amen, listen, this has been another episode of kicking in
- 48:17Speaker 2: with Kiki, Life, love and all that. Yes, until next time,
- 48:23Speaker 2: make sure you just surround yourself with people who make
- 48:26Speaker 2: you feel good that part. Anybody who does not is
- 48:30Speaker 2: time to take an inventory because they may not. That
- 48:33Speaker 2: season in your life may be over. I don't care
- 48:36Speaker 2: if family, friend, acquaintance, cowork, or anything. Sometimes it's time
- 48:43Speaker 2: to say goodbye.
- 48:45Speaker 3: That's it.
- 48:47Speaker 2: It's hard, but sometimes it's necessary in order for you
- 48:51Speaker 2: to elevate to the person that God has created you
- 48:55Speaker 2: to be. And it is okay to want better for yourself.
- 49:00Speaker 2: God did not put us here to be mediocre. God
- 49:04Speaker 2: did not put us here to have relationships that drain us,
- 49:08Speaker 2: that make us feel bad. So at some point you
- 49:12Speaker 2: have to love yourself and care for yourself enough to
- 49:15Speaker 2: say enough is enough. I'm done. I love you, but
- 49:20Speaker 2: I'm gonna love you from a distance. Yeah, that's it,
- 49:26Speaker 2: all right, guys. We can talk about this all day long,
- 49:28Speaker 2: but purple hugs. Until next time. You have been listening
- 49:33Speaker 2: to another episode of season eight Kick in In with
