- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's the Kingdom Mentor Podcast, which I've changed my name to Unleashing Kingdom Voices.
- 0:07Speaker 1: I think it's because of my guess.
- 0:08Speaker 1: She is such a dear friend.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I mean I think we met on Facebook.
- 0:12Speaker 1: We'll talk about that.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Let me introduce you to her.
- 0:14Speaker 1: You're going to have fun.
- 0:15Speaker 1: So Grace wears many hats, but the one that she diligently attempts to keep glued on her head at all times is Daughter of the King.
- 0:24Speaker 1: She's a mom, amazing mom, a wife, an educator, a singer I almost said single, You're not single Singer, singer, speaker she knows about your voice and now politician.
- 0:37Speaker 1: But whenever she puts her hand to her inner desire is really to obey the voice of the father and inspire those she influences to do the same.
- 0:45Speaker 1: That's perfect, Grace, Will you please help me welcome.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Grace Morrison Is in the house.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I got a chair for you.
- 0:52Speaker 1: You can sit there anytime.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I love it.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's so good to see you again.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry we have to have conversations on our podcast, so this is the deal.
- 1:02Speaker 1: That's what we're going to do, Grace.
- 1:03Speaker 1: We're going to have coffee together and anyone who joins the line they can join us, because, hey, we're going to just talk about life.
- 1:11Speaker 1: First of all, what's going on?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Family mom I saw your son just had a birthday.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Tell us about your kids and how old you are, how old they are.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Well, I've got a 14 year old, a 10 year old newly 10, and a six year old, and so we've changed some things up this year.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Our 14 year old is now at a military academy, high school.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:43Speaker 2: And is preparing for the United States Air Force Academy.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Thank you, god bless him.
- 1:51Speaker 2: And he's also in civil air patrol right now.
- 1:56Speaker 2: So he's sort of in the Air Force while he's preparing for the Air Force.
- 2:00Speaker 2: And then we have the other two which are still in the school that we were in for the past five years and teaching there with them.
- 2:11Speaker 2: And so, yeah, and this past November, well, this past year, I ran for office here locally for a state race Nice, that was wild.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I didn't do it because I actually really want to be in office.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I really don't want to be in office, and there's a part of me that's relieved that I didn't win the race.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:44Speaker 2: However, it's like Chris and I were talking about yesterday.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Politics is like when we have a big mess in the house and nobody wants to touch the mess.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Everyone wants to continue with life as usual.
- 3:07Speaker 2: So we sort of ignore the mess right Still there.
- 3:11Speaker 2: And if we continue to ignore the mess, the mess will fester and things can grow in the mess.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 2: With a whole ecosystem all on its own.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Nobody wanted to be inconvenienced enough to go clean the room.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's what I did.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I just honestly went for it to just be the person that I didn't see going in to try.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Well, isn't it like the Kingdom Grace you were just going into?
- 3:47Speaker 1: You know this educate.
- 3:48Speaker 1: You're an education family, and there's politics is one of those.
- 3:51Speaker 1: So, even though you didn't win, I am sure that I'm sure that you brought the presence of God into that race.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Is that what you?
- 3:59Speaker 2: say I did.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I did everything in my power to do that that's for sure.
- 4:04Speaker 2: And yeah, it was a very unique experience.
- 4:09Speaker 2: If the Lord wants me to do it again, I will, just because I'll do whatever he says, even if it's outside of my comfort zone.
- 4:17Speaker 1: This is so good.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You're just obeying God, is what I hear.
- 4:19Speaker 1: So are you still teaching?
- 4:21Speaker 1: I am Praise God, thank you.
- 4:25Speaker 2: And I am teaching music.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And my favorite, my favorite classes, believe it or not are my worldview classes.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I teach grade worldview nice which leans on my philosophy and biblical studies background.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Nice.
- 4:43Speaker 2: And it is.
- 4:44Speaker 2: It's all kind of interconnected, because how we see the world is how we will respond and behave in the world, and if we don't see clearly, then we're not going to respond in an accurate way respond in a distorted, even abusive, way.
- 5:03Speaker 2: So it's really important to know why we think, what we think and what we think, and so that's a real joy to see these.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Oh hey, oh yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I didn't consider.
- 5:19Speaker 1: So, that's been a blessing.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Now I remember through the years or at least gosh, three, four years ago, I was in the midst of redeeming your voice and I always wanted to talk to you about your voice because I think you even helped me.
- 5:34Speaker 1: So, grace, I don't even think I said my intro, but I'm going to say it right now because you're my friend, I can do this.
- 5:40Speaker 1: So this episode is brought to you by podcasting, made easy with AI.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It's about you and your voice.
- 5:47Speaker 1: What stage has God called you to release your voice?
- 5:51Speaker 1: And I can, and often, grace, we struggle, maybe with our voice, literally, I think you, what was I having problems with us always coughing as coughing up my cream?
- 6:00Speaker 1: You help me with that.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You know voice exercises, but you're a singer, you're a voice expert, so let's tap.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Can we go in that direction?
- 6:13Speaker 1: Can we tap into that?
- 6:15Speaker 1: I really believe you know part of my purpose on these podcasts is really, you know one to encourage people and bring a different view.
- 6:23Speaker 1: But if I could I mean I always can talk to you about your voice.
- 6:27Speaker 1: First, give us a background of your voice, because you're an amazing singer, on top of everything else she's told you.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Well, I've been singing since I could make noise and, in fact, for about I don't know a good grand portion of my life, my entire identity was absolutely wrapped up in the fact that I was a singer, Until the Lord asked me if I would walk away from that form that was growing, really big growing.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:00Speaker 2: And follow him into the unknown.
- 7:02Speaker 2: And I don't believe that God did that to strip me of the voice that he gave me, because I know that.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I know that God gave me this voice to sing to for supernatural purposes, for for his kingdom, and I'm not done singing.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Good.
- 7:20Speaker 2: But so I started taking voice lessons when I was 12.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That was the earliest that my voice teacher would take me, and I appreciate that and actually continued that into my own training studio, because the voice, the critical care of a developing voice, is really important.
- 7:44Speaker 2: And you don't want to work.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It's like that scripture that says a tender read, he won't break.
- 7:52Speaker 1: That's good.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Break a voice if you work it too early.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So I have spent most of my life learning how to perfect the voice and sing anytime, anywhere and the thing, that the Lord has really taught me and I teach students is the voice, is the breath.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, remember that now.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Which reminds me of Jesus, the word and the Holy Spirit.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You know they're one.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 2: The breath.
- 8:32Speaker 1: So the voice is the breath.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying again?
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember I think when I first heard you said that I'm like I got to write that down.
- 8:38Speaker 1: That's broad.
- 8:40Speaker 2: And when you get the breath right, you get the voice right.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 2: When we walk in the spirit yes, the less of the flesh right.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Right, we get the voice right.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Like when, before we came on, I said, grace, we're just going to wing it, but we're not.
- 8:56Speaker 1: We're going to be led by the Holy Spirit.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Grace is just one of those friends.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You can just pop on and there'll be something to talk about.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So when you're looking at the idea of people having voices not the mechanics and you stepped up with your voice in politics what is there anything the Holy Spirit's telling you to encourage someone?
- 9:18Speaker 1: Whoops, where'd you go?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Encourage someone to maybe step up on the stage that God's calling them to.
- 9:24Speaker 1: It might be as simple as a live Instagram.
- 9:27Speaker 1: It might be a physical stage, any thoughts rumbling around?
- 9:31Speaker 1: Encourage someone with that.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Well, first of all, I want to encourage you that you've not been given a spirit of fear.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Oh, come on.
- 9:40Speaker 2: You've given a spirit of fear or timidity, the Amplified Mind says, but of love, power, authority.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Sound well-balanced, disciplined mind.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Sound mind.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And when we talk about obeying God, stepping into things, we don't move unless he says move right.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Jesus gave us that example.
- 10:07Speaker 2: He said I don't see the Father doing, I don't hear the Father saying so we don't step out in the flesh, we step out in the Spirit.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Okay, and the thing is, I love what Jesus said in John when he was talking about what it looks like to walk in the Spirit and be led by the Spirit.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:29Speaker 2: As we don't know where the wind comes from and we don't know where it's going.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Yes.
- 10:34Speaker 2: But feel the effects of its presence.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So good.
- 10:38Speaker 2: And that's the same way it is with walking in the Spirit.
- 10:41Speaker 2: And so you know we can't say hey, god has called me to X, y and Z.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Therefore I'm closing the door on all the other letters of the alphabet, because he's God.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Oh, that's so good.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I love that.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And when we're in him, we're crucified with Christ.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Right, it's not my life anymore.
- 11:07Speaker 2: We say, well, this is my one life.
- 11:09Speaker 2: No, no, honey, it's not your life.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It's so good.
- 11:13Speaker 2: The price and whatever he says, whether you like it or not, you ought to do it.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 2: And when you do that, it's going to be really difficult to incarcerate you into a title so good, he may one day have you running for office.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Another day he may have you cleaning a diaper.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Another day he may ask you to clean behind the toilet.
- 11:38Speaker 1: And courage you.
- 11:40Speaker 2: He may ask you to go boldly to a king, maybe even a real king, yeah, and maybe a dictator.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I'll never forget reading that book God's Smuggler by Brother Andrew.
- 11:53Speaker 1: If you haven't read that yeah Some amazing stories.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and he met with the Ayatollah Khamenei.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I'm not saying that correctly, but you know who I'm talking about.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I know who you're talking about.
- 12:07Speaker 2: One of the most ruthless, murderous people on the planet, and he sat in his tent and preached the gospel to him.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Amen, yeah, you have to live with the fear of the Lord to be able to do that.
- 12:23Speaker 1: To do what God's called you, that's, that's impound.
- 12:25Speaker 1: No, are you still not to take a right turn?
- 12:28Speaker 1: But are you still doing your life Fridays?
- 12:31Speaker 2: I have not done a Grayson filtered live Friday in a while, probably the reason I bring that up is that's something that God called you.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And one thing I always said about Grace that she's a great example.
- 12:43Speaker 1: She shows up.
- 12:45Speaker 1: When God calls her to be somewhere, she shows up.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I mean, she's the best example.
- 12:50Speaker 1: She shows up as a mom, she shows up as a wife, she shows up as education, she showed up in the politics.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I think that could be one key for someone listening to what the Spirit says and then showing up how he's asking you to show up.
- 13:05Speaker 1: And like he challenged God, challenged me to go.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'm in my 50 year of podcasting.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Can you believe that?
- 13:13Speaker 1: But he told me show up once a week.
- 13:15Speaker 1: And now he did.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I just got challenged to show up twice a week.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I just challenge to do 99 Reels, one a day for 99 days.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Show up, that's hard.
- 13:26Speaker 2: If God calls you.
- 13:27Speaker 2: That's a lot of discipline.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know what's being single now.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Part of showing up is I want to share a message of hope after trauma, after death, after not a real good marriage.
- 13:41Speaker 1: So for me to show up right now, grace, it's so easy because I just roll out of bed.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I've been doing that for so many years on Instagram, so, but anyway, that's an example of showing up and I think you're always my inspiration all these years.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Grace shows up, grace shows up.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Grace has also been a guest on some of my voice camps and I just am.
- 14:04Speaker 1: So I just want to say publicly I so appreciate you the way you show up and I know you're showing up and you're just a great example.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I mean, we worked with my voice for about a month or two and you just your wealth of knowledge, I so appreciate you.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I had a green plastic on me before you even showed up on camera, so so I want to talk about that, though.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Let's say someone went, they're stuck by the imposter syndrome.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Let's just use that one, because that's a fear based.
- 14:36Speaker 1: What if someone says, yeah, I know, but I'm not, I'm not as pretty as Grace, I don't know, I can't talk like Teresa talks?
- 14:42Speaker 1: What are people going to think Would you speak to that imposter syndrome that someone may be watching with that?
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so so the enemy is really afraid of thinking up with truth.
- 14:58Speaker 2: He's really, really afraid of you actually knowing the truth, and the truth that will set you free.
- 15:06Speaker 2: And when Peter was, Peter was wild, Remember Peter had a short fuse.
- 15:15Speaker 2: He was an aggressive business guy.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I know that you.
- 15:19Speaker 2: You know that type of person and they're shrewd, they're a get it done kind of a person.
- 15:25Speaker 2: They've always got a plan for the next plan.
- 15:27Speaker 2: They're always just wheeling and dealing and you know, always moving.
- 15:34Speaker 2: And and Peter, when Jesus was having a conversation with his friends, he said who, who, what are they saying about me out there?
- 15:44Speaker 1: What.
- 15:45Speaker 2: And and.
- 15:46Speaker 2: So they gave him some names and he said but what do you guys say about me?
- 15:51Speaker 2: And Peter popped in as an aggressive personality would, and he says hey, I know who you are.
- 15:59Speaker 2: You're the Christ, you're the son of the living God.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Immediately when he saw who Jesus really was by revelation of the Holy Spirit and we know it was by revelation of the Holy Spirit because immediately Jesus says hey, you didn't get that from the crowd.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Wow.
- 16:20Speaker 2: The, the father, revealed that to you.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And you, peter, are the rock.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Well, rocks are pretty stable and Peter was not.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:31Speaker 2: So if any could be, you know, sort of gripped by that imposter syndrome, it would be Peter, because he knows who he is.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Yeah, emotional wild card, he knows that he's, you know, two seconds from an all out brawl and and not very trustworthy, remember.
- 16:52Speaker 2: I said before before the, the rooster crows three times you'll have denied me.
- 16:57Speaker 2: He's like the heck.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I would Wow.
- 16:59Speaker 1: And boom he did yeah.
- 17:02Speaker 2: And yet Jesus said because you see me, let me show you who you are, and on this rock of revelation build my church.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Come on girl.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Gates of hell will not prevail against it Wow.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Jesus.
- 17:21Speaker 2: When we see him, we have to see him.
- 17:25Speaker 2: If we make it about us, get ready to crumble, get ready.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And and even if we fail, we haven't failed because obedience is winning.
- 17:38Speaker 1: So good.
- 17:39Speaker 2: God has something for you in every step you take.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I was reading in Hebrews 11 just today and you go through.
- 17:48Speaker 2: It's called, you know, the hall of faith, not the hall of fame, the hall of faith.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 2: And over and over.
- 17:54Speaker 2: It says none of these actually saw the fullness of what's.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Amazing, yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 2: And at the very end of the chapter it says I wish I had my Bible in hand.
- 18:08Speaker 2: It's in my heart, you don't want translation.
- 18:11Speaker 2: The new living translation.
- 18:14Speaker 1: You keep talking.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Of Hebrews 11.
- 18:17Speaker 2: So chapter I mean the last verse.
- 18:20Speaker 2: It was 11, the last verse.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Okay, you keep talking, I'll get there.
- 18:25Speaker 2: See, they didn't fulfill it, but there was something in us needed.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Wow, god put something in us that is actually the fulfillment of what he put in them.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Come on, and in order for us all to finish the race, we're going to have to link up with who?
- 18:48Speaker 2: With Jesus.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Gee.
- 18:50Speaker 1: That's the last verse.
- 18:51Speaker 1: These were the true heroes, commenders for their faith.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Yet they lived in hope without receiving the fullness of what was promised.
- 19:02Speaker 1: But now God has invited us to live in something better than what they had faithfulness.
- 19:10Speaker 1: This is so that they could be brought to finished perfection alongside of us.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Hello, they're like, we're in the race with them.
- 19:20Speaker 1: So we're in the race with them and hello, we get to be.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Just think about that.
- 19:23Speaker 1: That just gives me a five-up.
- 19:25Speaker 1: We get to go alongside Sarah, alongside, yes, abraham.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I love that.
- 19:31Speaker 1: That is my power.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Oh, and they're going, come on, come on, finish the race, because our race is linked to their race, and they have the keys for us to continue to win.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I love Hebrews 11, verse 11 in the Passion Translation.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's talking about Sarah and it said Sarah's faith embraced God's miracle working power even though she was past the age of child bearing, even though she couldn't conceive.
- 19:58Speaker 1: But this is what she did.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Her faith rested in the authority of the one who promised and she tapped.
- 20:06Speaker 1: She went to work, she tapped into his faithfulness.
- 20:09Speaker 1: So you, my friend listening, you may think, oh, I'm embracing the sack.
- 20:13Speaker 1: No, you don't have to.
- 20:14Speaker 1: You can embrace God's miracle working power.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Sarah's cheering you on.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Sarah's there.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Her faith is there.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Did she look at an impossible, a barren one?
- 20:22Speaker 1: You may have a barren bank account, you may have a barren relationship, but you can embrace God's miracle working power.
- 20:30Speaker 1: And then I love that's the authority of our faith.
- 20:33Speaker 1: We have kingdom authority, don't we Come on?
- 20:36Speaker 1: You're making me preach.
- 20:36Speaker 1: We have kingdom authority.
- 20:38Speaker 1: We're not subject to the enemy, he's subject to us because we've got kingdom authority.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And I really believe the part about she rested her faith in the authority of the one called Darcy.
- 20:49Speaker 1: You know when you're called.
- 20:50Speaker 1: But then it said she tapped into faithfulness.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I always think that's okay, you've got the authority.
- 20:55Speaker 1: God's called you to something that's a little hard, but you're not sure, but you tap into his faithfulness.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I think that is the work that is forget the imposter syndrome, forget the fear, forget having a bad hair day if God calls you on.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Forget the filters if God calls you there.
- 21:11Speaker 1: And I think I'm so passionate about your voice taking up space in a very dark world, and I think Grace is just the epitome of that, because she's done that in her marriage, she's done that with her children and she's full of the word.
- 21:30Speaker 1: You can be that right man.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Thank you for pointing that out.
- 21:36Speaker 2: We have is his word.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Nothing else is gonna stand the test.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Nothing else is gonna stand the test except the word of God.
- 21:44Speaker 1: So are they waiting for perfection?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Are they waiting on us for the perfection?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yes, isn't that wild.
- 21:54Speaker 1: So much new meaning.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I believe it.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I see it right there.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Why didn't I see that before?
- 21:58Speaker 1: I had to have Grace on?
- 21:59Speaker 1: They're waiting on you, yeah, and if they're waiting on you, they didn't have the Holy Spirit.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Come on, god's armed you, so they're waiting on you with the like hey, come on, you got the Holy Spirit.
- 22:12Speaker 1: You think it was hard on us, man, look it, you got the inside job of Jesus inside you.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry that gets me so fired up.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Thank you, yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 2: They were people.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Sarah laughed at the promise of God.
- 22:28Speaker 1: She did.
- 22:29Speaker 2: She said that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I can tell you, I know what that feels like.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Ha ha ha.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Politician, you gotta be kidding God.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's ridiculous why?
- 22:41Speaker 1: Ha, ha ha.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Oh, you're so fun yeah.
- 22:46Speaker 2: But he is faithful.
- 22:47Speaker 2: He is faithful.
- 22:48Speaker 2: God has spoken to me about that faithfulness thing.
- 22:50Speaker 2: You know, sometimes we get our eyes on people and we get in extreme anxiety because we know the flaws of ourselves.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 23:01Speaker 2: So we know the flaws of others and we've been let down and we've seen people drop the ball, and so it's like how are we supposed to do this?
- 23:10Speaker 2: And he says keep your eyes on me, it's my faithfulness.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Not that you're not trusting your own faithfulness, you're trusting my faithfulness.
- 23:20Speaker 1: So good.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Never fails.
- 23:23Speaker 1: No, so good.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I just gotta tell you that really blesses me to be reinforced, because I'm single now.
- 23:30Speaker 1: So in a way I'm starting over with dreams, because there's no control to keep me from my dreams.
- 23:35Speaker 1: But I think, grace, what I struggle with is my age.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I got hit by that dart the other day.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I sat in my chair, my prayer chair, and I'm like in 20 years I'm going to be 80.
- 23:48Speaker 1: And then all of that oh, I've missed it, and all that regret.
- 23:53Speaker 1: But you know how faithful God is.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Every single verse, every single devotion.
- 23:58Speaker 1: He reminded me of something.
- 23:59Speaker 1: It was in Colossians.
- 24:01Speaker 1: It says that he rescued us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of light.
- 24:09Speaker 1: So God was like Teresa you're of the kingdom, the kingdom's now.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you got the human body, but you don't wait to go to the kingdom.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Right, the kingdom is now.
- 24:19Speaker 1: So okay, you're starting all over at 60.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Who cares If I put something in, if I imbue you with the strength and the grace of wisdom.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I'm just giving myself a pep talk.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Maybe that pep talk will help someone else, okay.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Plus, psalms 103 says that he's filled your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle, like an eagle.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Bless the Lord on my soul and all that is within me.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Bless his holy name.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Bless the Lord on my soul and forget none of his benefits, but partens all your nicoties.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Who heals all your diseases.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Who redeems your life from the pit.
- 24:52Speaker 1: That's a Psalm 103.
- 24:53Speaker 1: It's one of my favorite Psalms.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I love it Makes the and you know what else this is about, psalm 103.
- 24:58Speaker 1: That, I think, is kind of like what the end of Hebrews 11.
- 25:02Speaker 1: It said Moses knew his ways.
- 25:06Speaker 1: The people knew his acts.
- 25:07Speaker 1: So as we have the fulfillment of God, we get to know his ways.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yeah, to know the ways of God.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you may see some miracles, but to know the ways is.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like Moses, he knew the ways of God.
- 25:21Speaker 1: If we've got, I think God is raising up women, men who know the ways of God.
- 25:27Speaker 1: What comes in that?
- 25:28Speaker 1: It comes as supernatural for healing.
- 25:32Speaker 1: It comes wisdom.
- 25:33Speaker 1: It comes to witty ideas in the middle of the night to help you get your family out of debt.
- 25:37Speaker 1: It comes with the grace and the strength to walk where God's called you.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Oh, I'm going to pray for the ways of God.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I like to see the acts, but, man, if I see the ways I'm going to If I know the ways I'm going to see his acts.
- 25:50Speaker 1: That just reminds me of the end of Hebrews 11.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:53Speaker 1: We get to preach to each other.
- 25:54Speaker 1: You know when are we going to tag team on and preach together?
- 25:58Speaker 1: I think we could just we need to do that.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I mean, we're doing it kind of right now, but I always I think we talked about that we need to tag team.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh, that's my dream is to tag team and preach with someone like you.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Anyway, that's one of many dreams.
- 26:12Speaker 1: So let's put me on the stand and you, minister, you talk to me because I know I represent a lot of I know what my pain points are of my clients.
- 26:23Speaker 1: So I'm going to be one of my clients and say, well, it sounds great, but A I don't have the finances.
- 26:31Speaker 1: B I really don't have a good voice.
- 26:33Speaker 1: And three, am I sure God's called me to this?
- 26:36Speaker 1: What would be your answer?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Hmm, Jesus.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so serious.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I know that just sounds as cliche as it can be, but when you, you know you were talking about knowing the ways and the only thing that was coming to me is that's intimacy.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Hmm, intimacy.
- 26:58Speaker 2: You know, I know some things about some people.
- 27:03Speaker 2: But then there are people I know.
- 27:06Speaker 2: I know when they get a look on their face what they're going to do next.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I know when they say a certain specific phrase what it means.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I know when their cheeks turn a certain color what's going on in their heart, because I know their ways.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I'm intimately acquainted with them.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Wow.
- 27:23Speaker 2: And when we can get intimately acquainted with Jesus, then we step out because, see, all of those questions you just said were based on natural things, the fear of natural things not supporting us.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 2: But again, we're not trusting in natural things, we're trusting in his faithfulness, come on, and we can do that when we know his ways.
- 27:51Speaker 2: The thing that messed up Adam and Eve is that the beautiful serpent came and questioned the ways of God.
- 28:00Speaker 2: He said did God really say, are you sure?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Sure, I think what's going on here is that God wants to keep you from something good, and I think you know his ways, but you don't.
- 28:12Speaker 2: He's really not good, he's really selfish and he doesn't want you to get any higher.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Well, guess who he was talking about was himself.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Wow, wow.
- 28:21Speaker 2: He's acting and he uses that projection on us.
- 28:25Speaker 2: And what we have to do is say no, I'm going to do this anyway, I'm going to step out, even if I'm not 100% sure, because I know his ways.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Good.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Oh that, even if I stumble, he's going to catch me.
- 28:39Speaker 1: So good.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Psalm 91 says he gives his angels charge over me lest I even stumble on a stone.
- 28:45Speaker 2: It's not that we don't make you know, it's not even that we don't make a mistake, and it's not that things don't turn out in a way that we might not understand it at the time, right.
- 28:57Speaker 2: But so him and his ways, and we can trust that he's got a plan, even if we don't know what it is quite yet.
- 29:06Speaker 2: But he will reveal it to us step by step.
- 29:11Speaker 2: The first is Proverbs 3, 5, and 6, which is trust the Lord with all your heart.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Don't lean on your own understanding.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Fear it out.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 2: But in all of his ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path.
- 29:26Speaker 2: And that's the piece to go.
- 29:28Speaker 2: You know, this is the farthest thing out of my comfort zone I can possibly consider right now, but if you say so, we'll do it.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so good.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Library courted someone.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I hope that's.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I pray that's for someone.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I believe it is Grace.
- 29:44Speaker 1: You're listening to Grace Morrison on Unleashing Kingdom Voices podcast, wow, and Grace is so fun to, you know, go back and forth.
- 29:53Speaker 1: You're so based in the word and I really appreciate that because you know I don't have any doubts.
- 29:59Speaker 1: But you sure lit a fire back under me on what I'm got in front of me.
- 30:05Speaker 1: And Grace was also there in the midst of my husband getting cancer.
- 30:09Speaker 1: At the end she had some good things to say.
- 30:13Speaker 1: It was a struggle.
- 30:14Speaker 1: But I want to go to one thing she touched on.
- 30:18Speaker 1: That is to set the heart of anything I do.
- 30:20Speaker 1: It's the Bible before the phone, it's.
- 30:24Speaker 1: It's that place of intimacy.
- 30:26Speaker 1: And you know I was already in the word all through my marriage and even through the end.
- 30:33Speaker 1: But after he died it was like Grace, it's like I got to get two hours.
- 30:35Speaker 1: It's half of it's soaking and I remember I was subbed to teaching.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I'm like what's the matter?
- 30:40Speaker 1: I have to leave.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Okay, I got to get up this time.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Okay, I got to sit there two hours.
- 30:43Speaker 1: And now can I say it's almost like I'm not saying this religiously, I know, you know that anyone listening this is not a.
- 30:52Speaker 1: I don't worship the place I worship.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I don't worship my quiet times.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I worship the one I meet when I calm down, get a cup of coffee and Just listen.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Sometimes I'm just listening, sometimes I'm journaling, sometimes I'm doing a neuropsychal app with dr Caroline leaf or I'm doing all those things and Grace, I can't do what I do without.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I'm looking at my chair and I've come to I've always been intimate with him.
- 31:19Speaker 1: But losing my husband and then dealing with some stuff, the trauma.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'm finding a place where I feel the how do I say this?
- 31:29Speaker 1: I feel like I'm a child all over again, coming to my father Jesus.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah and in lay in my request.
- 31:36Speaker 1: See, like I said, I was struggling with my age.
- 31:38Speaker 1: He meet me One night.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I got up too late and I looked at my credit card because I'm traveling a lot and I thought, oh no.
- 31:44Speaker 1: And then, boom, he met me a lot times.
- 31:47Speaker 1: He meets me just with the you version plan, if you want to know.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I've been on you version for years because I had cataracts in my eyes and I could only see my iPad.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Now I've got healing, I got surgery and I still use my iPad.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I know that might shock you.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I just don't hold the Bible.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I hold my you version.
- 32:04Speaker 1: That has oh.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Oh, but you said it.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Out of that intimate place Comes the answers.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 2: He's the way, he's the truth, he's the life outside of him.
- 32:20Speaker 2: John 15 5 says we can't do anything.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Hmm we just can't do anything outside him.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Well, where's your practical plan?
- 32:27Speaker 2: Well, it's in him, and if you sit long enough and you get your pen in your paper and you write what you hear it, it would give it to you.
- 32:37Speaker 1: He will.
- 32:38Speaker 1: So good grace, oh, so good.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Well, you're holding your phone up for 35 minutes, so, and you just a joy, thank you.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I mean we could, we could do part two on this, and I appreciate you.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I know you're busy, but I appreciate you made time and said yes, you showed up.
- 32:57Speaker 1: So thank you and Wow, I'm just so thankful for you, I.
- 33:02Speaker 1: So why don't you do this?
- 33:04Speaker 1: Why don't you make some declarations and some prayers and some prophetic words over the listeners as we close this out?
- 33:15Speaker 2: To the one that says Mm-hmm, I've done this before, I'm not gonna put myself out there again.
- 33:23Speaker 2: You've got a cloud of witnesses and they're waiting for you and they are cheering you on and you need I want your eyes to be flooded with light, as Ephesians 1 17 says, that you would know the glorious father and what are the riches of his inheritance in you, the riches of his inheritance in you.
- 33:54Speaker 2: You are part of the inheritance of Jesus.
- 33:58Speaker 2: You are part of the inheritance of Jesus.
- 34:02Speaker 2: You are not below, you are above, you are not beneath, and I want to call you Higher today, in Jesus name.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I want to call you higher today in Jesus name.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Take your seat of authority in Him, and I want to pray for you in the name of Jesus father, to everyone that has been gripped by the pattern of this world.
- 34:30Speaker 2: How does the world do it?
- 34:31Speaker 2: What is the next mantra?
- 34:33Speaker 2: What's the next guru?
- 34:34Speaker 2: Say that's not who we are, that's not who we are in Christ.
- 34:39Speaker 2: In Christ, we are new Creations.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Old things are passed away, all things, even the things we think, are, become new, and you have given us the mind of Christ.
- 34:53Speaker 2: So I call you in Jesus name, up out of the pit in Jesus name, into your place of authority, in him, in Him, in him we live, we move, we have our being.
- 35:10Speaker 2: In Him.
- 35:12Speaker 2: You're not doing this on your own.
- 35:14Speaker 2: You're doing it in Christ.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Thank you for the victory, lord in Jesus, mm-hmm, jesus, thank you.
- 35:23Speaker 1: That's, that's powerful.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Wow, shoo.
- 35:26Speaker 1: What a great way to end a pie, an episode Just sitting in that for a second.
- 35:32Speaker 1: For someone it's not an accident.
- 35:35Speaker 1: You're listening live now or listening on the podcast.

- 35:43Speaker 1: There's a little plaque on my wall that says known, chosen, worthy, loved enough.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I think grace prayer just solidified that.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Yeah, grace.
