  SPEAKER_00: Have you heard this?
• 0:01
SPEAKER_00: I'll get your website to the first page of Google in 90 days or you don't pay me a cent.
• 0:06
  SPEAKER_00: And that's organically.
• 0:08
  SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah.
• 0:08
SPEAKER_00: So that's the here's the game with this.
• 0:10
SPEAKER_00: If somebody's promising to do this for you, usually some follow-up questions are a good idea.
• 0:16
SPEAKER_00: Now, in order for a website to rank the first page of Google for something really, really highly searched, that's a lot of time.
• 0:27
  SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of effort.
• 0:28
  SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of content.
• 0:29
SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of exterior sources of validation, other websites linking back to the website that's living on that page.
• 0:37
  SPEAKER_00: So there's a whole bunch there.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_00: Now, when these people are spinning this on you, when they're pitching it, typically they're doing it because they're going to provide for you something that nobody's using in search.
• 0:48
SPEAKER_00: They're going to provide for you keyword or phrase or a way for somebody to search that people aren't actually converting when and they're not even typing it in.
• 0:56
SPEAKER_00: So I'll give you an example.
• 0:57
SPEAKER_00: So the two most important keyword phrases in Santa Clarita, at least from a search perspective, the ones that are ranking the highest, Santa Clarita Open Houses, Santa Clarita Real Estate.
• 1:08
SPEAKER_00: That's what people are punching in.
• 1:09
SPEAKER_00: Now, that just doesn't go punching in anymore.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_00: People are asking their AI systems, so bringing them into that search, but now we're just talking about Google.
• 1:17
SPEAKER_00: So there's a lot of different ways to skin the cat.
• 1:19
SPEAKER_00: Usually skinning the cat does take some time.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_00: It's not as simple as getting the cat and skinning it.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_00: You got to put a lot of play in there.
• 1:25
SPEAKER_00: However, what these people are promising is kind of BS up front because they're going to have you score page one of Google in the search engines, and your property is going to be on there, your whatever it is, your company URL or your real estate URL or whatever it may be.
• 1:42
SPEAKER_00: Also, it's going to be important where on the page you're going to appear.
• 1:46
SPEAKER_00: Is it above the fold?
• 1:47
SPEAKER_00: And is that on mobile or also on a computer?
• 1:51
SPEAKER_00: How big is the person's screen?
• 1:53
SPEAKER_00: If it's above the fold, it's going to be seen here.
• 1:55
SPEAKER_00: If it's below the fold, they got to scroll up to see it.
• 1:57
SPEAKER_00: And usually, if you want to hide a dead body on the internet in the search engine results pages, the joke is you do it on page two because nobody ever goes to page two.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_00: But they're saying page one, that's the pitch.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_00: And they're saying if they can score you for that, you're not going to leave and they're going to still charge you money and so on.
• 2:13
SPEAKER_00: We have to find out what they want to score you for.
• 2:16
SPEAKER_00: Is it naked mole rats in China living on Mount Olympus?
• 2:19
SPEAKER_00: Well, that might not be a hard thing to do.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_00: I could probably get that done for anybody, even my own properties within probably 24 to 48 to 96 hours.
• 2:27
SPEAKER_00: However, if you want to score for Santa Clarita Real Estate, Santa Clarita Plumber, Santa Clarita HVAC, Santa Clarita contractor, Santa Clarita, these sorts of things, yeah, that's a little bit more difficult.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_00: Santa Clarita Insurance, holy Hannah.
• 2:41
SPEAKER_00: But they're promising this, but they're not promising you that.
• 2:44
SPEAKER_00: They're promising you some kind of placement for something obscure that people don't even type in.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: So don't fall for it.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_00: If you want more guidance on this, reach out to me, bookwithhonor.com.

• 2:56
  SPEAKER_00: Thanks for watching.
• 2:57
SPEAKER_00: See you in the next one.
