Lucas: Today we're going to talk about weather again, but a little different. We've done sunny, rainy, thunder – now let's do cloudy and foggy. Luna: Oh, cloudy and foggy. That's perfect. It's been super cloudy here lately. Lucas: Same. So the word for cloudy is ደመናማ. Let's say that together. Luna: ደመናማ. Lucas: Good. And foggy is ጭጋጋማ. Luna: ጭጋጋማ. Lucas: Excellent! Now let's put them in sentences. 'Today is cloudy' – ዛሬ ደመናማ ነው. Luna: ዛሬ ደመናማ ነው. Lucas: Perfect. And 'Today is foggy' – ዛሬ ጭጋጋማ ነው. Luna: ዛሬ ጭጋጋማ ነው. Lucas: Nice! So those are your four new phrases today. Let's practice a bit more. Luna: Sure. So if I want to say 'It's cloudy today', I say ዛሬ ደመናማ ነው? Lucas: Exactly. And if it's foggy, ዛሬ ጭጋጋማ ነው. Luna: Got it. What about just 'cloudy' without 'today'? Lucas: You can just say ደመናማ ነው. That means 'It's cloudy.' Same for foggy: ጭጋጋማ ነው. Luna: ደመናማ ነው, ጭጋጋማ ነው. Lucas: You're a natural. Lucas: Today is foggy. Luna: ዛሬ ጭጋጋማ ነው. Lucas: Nailed it. You're doing so well. Luna: Thanks! These are useful. I can already use them when I chat with my Ethiopian friend. Lucas: Exactly.
