- 0:00Speaker 1: One of the greatest debates. It's one more thing.
- 0:03Speaker 2: I'm strong and Getty one more thing. Have we asked you, Getty?
- 0:10Speaker 3: Do you have a rooting interest in the Super Bowl? No?
- 0:12Speaker 1: No, okay, not really.
- 0:15Speaker 3: I kind of because I root for the forty nine
- 0:19Speaker 3: ers a lot, kind of would like to see the
- 0:20Speaker 3: Seahawks get their come up, and so I think, yeah,
- 0:23Speaker 3: but I don't know, I don't really didn't really matter
- 0:25Speaker 3: to me.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Plus my DRIs working during the Super Bowl, so it's like, eh.
- 0:31Speaker 3: And my kids, it's it's funny. My kids just have
- 0:34Speaker 3: no interest in that sort of stuff, and I haven't
- 0:36Speaker 3: worked really hard to cultivate an interest in uh, professional
- 0:40Speaker 3: sports watching it on TV. Like when I was a kid,
- 0:42Speaker 3: it would have been just unimaginable to not sit there
- 0:44Speaker 3: and watch the Super Bowl with my dad starting at
- 0:47Speaker 3: a at age of like five or something. I remember
- 0:49Speaker 3: it and I loved it doing it. But I can't.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I have to.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I have to force my kids to do it and
- 0:54Speaker 3: know at some point say can I go now, it'ld
- 0:55Speaker 3: be all right if I go do something else.
- 0:57Speaker 2: That's funny. I remember as a kid pretty clearly that
- 0:59Speaker 2: I didn't have a lot of patience for watching sports
- 1:02Speaker 2: on TV. I'd watched some of it. Then I would
- 1:04Speaker 2: go out and play football with my friends and we'd
- 1:07Speaker 2: miss like the second half.
- 1:10Speaker 3: And my kids have no interest. They'll probably come watch
- 1:13Speaker 3: the halftime show, see the music. Otherwise I'll just be
- 1:17Speaker 3: sitting there with big bowl of Michael's Dip between my legs,
- 1:22Speaker 3: maybe no shirt on.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Oh good, chips, chips accumulating on your belly.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Exactly, it's gonna drip on you and you're gonna use
- 1:29Speaker 4: a free to to scoop it off your chest.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Exactly. That's exactly what's gonna happen. Yep.
- 1:34Speaker 5: For years, my family we'd watch the Super Bowl together
- 1:37Speaker 5: and it'd always be when halftime comes, my parents would
- 1:39Speaker 5: complain about whoever's performing, whether it's bad, Bunny, this is
- 1:44Speaker 5: not music in my music, you know.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Glenn Miller was the last one they really enjoy. Yeah,
- 1:51Speaker 2: it's exactly right. Oh, that reminds me. I heard a
- 1:55Speaker 2: featurette about a guy who has been a photographer at
- 2:00Speaker 2: every single Super Bowl. He's the only one. He's going
- 2:03Speaker 2: to turn seventy five this year. His dad was one
- 2:06Speaker 2: of the photographers for the Green Bay Packers in the sixties,
- 2:09Speaker 2: and so he got the nod to bring a pro
- 2:12Speaker 2: camera and always a talented young teenage photographer, and he
- 2:16Speaker 2: got the iconic picture of Bart's Starr twisting to hand
- 2:22Speaker 2: the ball off on one of the key plays. And
- 2:24Speaker 2: then he was at the Ice Bowl the next year
- 2:27Speaker 2: and he got the iconic shot of was it Bart
- 2:30Speaker 2: Starigan busting through the line for the touchdown? And he
- 2:34Speaker 2: got his career from there, and he's been at every
- 2:35Speaker 2: single Super.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Bowl Final super Bowl. Note, it's always been handy for
- 2:39Speaker 3: me and Joe. For Joe because we're the same age.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Our age is the same as the super Bowl, So
- 2:42Speaker 3: I always know what super Bowl is because I'm sixteen
- 2:44Speaker 3: at super Bowl sixty. It's always been that way, very handy,
- 2:47Speaker 3: very handy for me.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Looking it's a real blessing, real blessing.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Super Bowl twenty five. I know I was twenty five
- 2:52Speaker 3: when I watched that. It is a blessing. Okay, what
- 2:54Speaker 3: do you got for us, Katie?
- 2:55Speaker 4: Okay, this is one of the arguments that's currently taking
- 2:59Speaker 4: place in my household, and I need to know whose
- 3:02Speaker 4: team you guys are on.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Is this an am I the a hole? More or less?
- 3:06Speaker 2: Or or just no?
- 3:09Speaker 1: This is I say, you're doing it wrong.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Oh okay, all.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Right, when you when you load the dishwasher.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Oh it's funny how people I did and you got
- 3:19Speaker 3: me going out. People have particular ways of loading the dishwasher. Well,
- 3:23Speaker 3: you get to get away going and if somebody comes
- 3:25Speaker 3: along and like they put the bulls there instead of
- 3:28Speaker 3: there whatever, it's like, oh, I've got a system here,
- 3:30Speaker 3: I've got a system.
- 3:32Speaker 4: We won't even I mean, I'll throw it out there,
- 3:34Speaker 4: but we won't even get into how for some reason
- 3:37Speaker 4: Drew thinks you lay glasses on their side.
- 3:42Speaker 2: That's just that's wrong.
- 3:43Speaker 3: How are you even married to this?
- 3:45Speaker 1: I'm I guess I don't know. No, I do know.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Okay, when you put the forks, the knives, the spoons,
- 3:53Speaker 4: not the sharp knives like for cutting steaks and whatnot,
- 3:57Speaker 4: but the butter knives.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Do you put them mouthside up?
- 4:01Speaker 3: Poor?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Mouthside down?
- 4:03Speaker 2: Mouth?
- 4:04Speaker 3: I like mouth from the end. You put your mouth
- 4:07Speaker 3: mouth hole, putting your mouth hole? Yeah, okay, I put
- 4:12Speaker 3: a mouthside down. You're a mouth side up.
- 4:16Speaker 5: I'm like you, Katie. They go up.
- 4:17Speaker 2: How do you put them up? Though?
- 4:19Speaker 3: Without getting your hands all gooey by having to grab
- 4:21Speaker 3: them all by the dirty end.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So hey, and the handle and you kind of drop
- 4:26Speaker 2: them your mouth side up also mostly yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 1: How no consistency is key here, Joe.
- 4:35Speaker 3: You just randomly wait a second, that you're a psychopath.
- 4:39Speaker 3: You just randomly put them in some up something stuff fits.
- 4:43Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Oh boy, I'd be figuring out how to put a
- 4:47Speaker 4: pillow over your face at night if.
- 4:48Speaker 1: You're doing that.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Some up, some down, just completely random.
- 4:53Speaker 1: This is no good for the universe.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Well, you can't have the spoons spooning, no, So I
- 5:00Speaker 3: throw a little variants in there. I work on making
- 5:02Speaker 3: sure they're own spoon, but I put mouthside down, so
- 5:05Speaker 3: my little I feel like somebody told me that years ago,
- 5:07Speaker 3: and I've just done it that way. But that doesn't
- 5:08Speaker 3: mean it's right. I don't. I don't have like a
- 5:10Speaker 3: reason for it.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Well, nothing's going to stop them from spooning if the
- 5:13Speaker 4: mouthside is down.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Well no, I go for a variety of you and slot.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I mix them up. Got a knife, a fork,
- 5:22Speaker 3: and a spoon. A knife, a fork and a spoon
- 5:23Speaker 3: generally up.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Now that I think about it, I think I'm an
- 5:25Speaker 2: up guy.
- 5:26Speaker 3: But the sharp ones you put down so you don't
- 5:27Speaker 3: stab yourself.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, all the real poky things I put downward,
- 5:33Speaker 4: but the forks, the spoons, the knives, and I've got
- 5:35Speaker 4: one of the holders that has a bunch of different sections,
- 5:39Speaker 4: so I just kind of I don't I've never ended
- 5:41Speaker 4: up with spoons spooning.
- 5:42Speaker 1: You guys just gave me a complex. I never thought
- 5:44Speaker 1: of that.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Now, dishwashers are dirty. You could catch a dread disease,
- 5:48Speaker 2: probably kill you.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Trump's right about this. Dishwashers and water pressure and all
- 5:52Speaker 3: that sort of stuff not near as good as it
- 5:53Speaker 3: used to be. See, you have to practically clean your
- 5:57Speaker 3: wash your dishes by hand to put him in the
- 5:59Speaker 3: dishwasher to get him clean. But uh, that's annoying because
- 6:03Speaker 3: he used to be able to put a I remember
- 6:05Speaker 3: back like when I was in college. He could put
- 6:06Speaker 3: something that was crusty and hard, been sitting there for
- 6:09Speaker 3: a month in the sun and put it in the
- 6:10Speaker 3: dishwasher and get it clean. But you can't do that anymore.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Well, that's because the dishwasher detergent had like stuff that's
- 6:16Speaker 2: now banned by the Geneva convention. I mean, you got
- 6:20Speaker 2: the battery acid and DDT, Yes, I wouldn't use that
- 6:24Speaker 2: now exactly.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, so you guys go because okay, so I
- 6:29Speaker 4: put all of the mouth hole sides of this is
- 6:32Speaker 4: what I'm gonna call it.
- 6:34Speaker 1: And Drew argues with I think.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Just mouth is fine.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You know that mouth mouth like mouth hole.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yeah, nice job, mouth hole.
- 6:41Speaker 1: But Drew argues with me, well, then you go to
- 6:43Speaker 1: touch the port you put your mouth.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I agree, good point, Drew. I agree.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I agree with him. I don't manly logic. I don't
- 6:51Speaker 3: want to touch it going in or coming out. I
- 6:53Speaker 3: don't want to touch the food. And when I'm putting
- 6:55Speaker 3: them in there, and I don't want to touch the
- 6:57Speaker 3: mouth is the part's going to go in people's mouths
- 6:59Speaker 3: when I take him out?
- 7:00Speaker 4: Well, because I plan ahead, I wash my hands prior
- 7:04Speaker 4: to emptying the dishwasher. And I do know every time,
- 7:07Speaker 4: I'm not Joe, I'm not a monster. Okay, I don't
- 7:09Speaker 4: do things sometimes good.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Don't drop the ribs, welcome Matt and then put them
- 7:14Speaker 3: the place.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Psycho Germany, nobody died, all right, nobody guide.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Yeah, But and then I emptied the silverware first.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I put it in the drawer and there's no problem,
- 7:25Speaker 4: No with all respect to your womanly emotionalism about this topic.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Drew's right, it's a handle, you handle. The handle points
- 7:34Speaker 2: to Drew.
- 7:35Speaker 1: H I disagree.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I uh.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I love it when everything's cleaning the dishwasher though, when
- 7:41Speaker 3: you open it up and everything's sparkling and clean, that's
- 7:43Speaker 3: a that's a good view right now. I don't like
- 7:45Speaker 3: putting it away.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Doesn't happen when you put the glasses in.
- 7:51Speaker 2: That's psycho material. That's just not right.
- 7:53Speaker 1: That's pretty crazy, swamp.
- 7:56Speaker 4: I've gotten into the habit of when he does it,
- 7:57Speaker 4: I take a picture of it and I just send
- 7:59Speaker 4: it to him.
- 8:03Speaker 2: What is this?
- 8:03Speaker 3: But so if they're laying on the side in a
- 8:05Speaker 3: bit of a tilt, so then they got still water
- 8:07Speaker 3: in there.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Right, oh yeah, just real mucky looking stuff in there.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Then I then get to.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Dump into the sink and then put them in the
- 8:15Speaker 4: way a normal human being would and not a chimp.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Wow. Wow, So now we're sub human in your world
- 8:24Speaker 2: the way humans do it, not chimps this time.
- 8:27Speaker 3: That's pretty funny.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Do you think he does it on purpose just to
- 8:30Speaker 2: bug you?
- 8:31Speaker 1: I'm starting to wonder.
- 8:32Speaker 3: My point, that might be his only little control.
- 8:35Speaker 4: You know, that attitude, that attitude you've had, well you're pregnant.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Watch this.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Sideways Glasses is the only part of my life I
- 8:42Speaker 3: can still control.
- 8:45Speaker 2: It's my little bit of freedom.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Well, I guess that's it.
