Transcript
- 0:07Speaker 1: Oh, all right, good evening everybody and welcome back to another, mrs Pie.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'm looking at my phone because I'm checking in on the Pharre deck live TV.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Hello, tonya Turner.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Well, hello again, beautiful.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Yeah, this is going to be an amazing episode.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Let me give you a little bit of context, because Tonya is like my bestie in returning guests, like she's just so awesome.
- 2:07Speaker 1: But we are running this very special, limited episode in series called Wildflowers and the intent is just to remind you that even in the harshest conditions, through faith you can blossom into a marvel.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And Tonya is joining our special guest lineup of those amazing women who face different adversities, different stories, but she really does have a heart of gratitude, she really is a woman of grace and she's just an awesome person to know.
- 2:34Speaker 1: So I am so grateful that you're here on this very, very special, special episode.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Thank you for coming back.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Thank you so much for having me again.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I feel blessed and fortunate to be here with you this evening.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Well, I thank you.
- 2:48Speaker 1: So I want to do a quick shout out because we I know we catch a lot of people on the replays, but we also have folks watching on parade deck live TV on the Mrs Pi channel.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I know we have folks on Apple TV through because of the parade deck.
- 3:05Speaker 1: So, hi y'all.
- 3:06Speaker 1: For those of y'all on the Facebook and LinkedIn, youtube, twitter, and did I miss anybody streets and the audio podcasts that come out later.
- 3:14Speaker 1: So if you're if you're not, a person who watches it, you can listen to us later this week wherever you get your podcasts.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I heart radio, spotify, all the fies, whatever, right?
- 3:26Speaker 1: So time, it Um one of the things that I was um thinking about with you, especially when it comes to you know this series.
- 3:34Speaker 1: So, again, we, you know we center on women who've gone through a lot of things and from you coming on last year.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So for those of you who don't know time, you need to go back into our, to our episodes, because go back into it, right, go back into the vault.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Um, it's not just your faith, but it's your resilience, it's your confidence, it's um, it's the way that you coach and help individuals to kind of find their purpose and live in that and there's just also just as a genuine person that can talk about.
- 4:09Speaker 1: You know, what does faith look like for you?
- 4:11Speaker 1: Because, look, everybody is going to be given a sermon.
- 4:14Speaker 1: We're not all called to preach.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Some of us are, you know, living out this, this faith journey, just you know, just as we are right Witnessing the others and just kind of living our lives.
- 4:26Speaker 1: So I wanted to find out from you, just just to kick us off, like, what does your faith like?
- 4:32Speaker 1: How does that come into play, just into your, into your life as a mom, as a, you know, as a leader, you know, business woman, all those things.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I think that's a good question, because I forgot to tell you, shelly, that on this hand, right here, I have the word faith tattoo on it.
- 4:49Speaker 2: So is that?
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I actually see it.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Oh, yes, it's there.
- 4:56Speaker 2: So I'm not going to take off my watch, but I realized that growing up, that I grew up in Catholic church, practiced Catholicism but always have been faith based, and I know a lot of times we hear people say, oh, I was raised in the church and this is true.
- 5:14Speaker 2: But I realized that my faith has been activated.
- 5:18Speaker 2: It's always been in spaces.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I wouldn't say I was embarrassed to talk about my faith, but it was so private and personal and I think within the last couple of years, after my dad passed away, I feel like that is one of my core values, is living out my faith.
- 5:36Speaker 2: And how do I do that?
- 5:40Speaker 2: It's through.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I know this for others may sound like oh, wow.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Is praying for people that you work with, um leaders making the right decisions, praying for people who perhaps may be sick at the job, people who you've met, who have asked boldly could you pray for me, could you pray with me?
- 6:03Speaker 2: I have actually, when people have asked me, I haven't just imposed myself because you have to be careful with that working in this industry, where I've sat there and I pray with them and I wonder where did that work?
- 6:15Speaker 2: And so, yeah, I'm living out my faith on purpose and I'm not being ashamed of it and I'm being unapologetic about it in my personal and my professional life.
- 6:29Speaker 1: You know you're hitting on a point I was sharing.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It might have been this weekend.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I was sharing with some folks and I might have yelled.
- 6:36Speaker 1: My brain is so I'm all over the place that I believe it was last weekend or so.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Lesson or reminder that I received from the Lord and it was about praying for others and just being really intentional about doing that.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And so a lot of times you know the response you get from a lot of Christians and I don't even know, maybe it's because they don't know what the answer is, or they don't know how to respond, or that it's almost flippant when we hear believers say, well, I'm praying for you and you know that person is not.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So that point you made about being intentional not just about praying for others, but even even the prayer itself Do you have any recommendations for folks?
- 7:26Speaker 1: And it sounds like you're just a strong intercessor.
- 7:29Speaker 1: So what about people who are trying to do that or maybe they're, you know they don't know how to go about.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Like, if someone is praying with me, like, what are some of your um encouragement or recommendations for that?
- 7:42Speaker 2: I think a couple of things that I do that may, for others, not be so intense or off-putting.
- 7:48Speaker 2: When you're living out your faith and you're doing something authentic, it could be anything.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It could be a scripture that you like.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I always liked Psalms 23 or Psalms 91.
- 8:00Speaker 2: That was the place where my dad's Bible was opened up before he passed away.
- 8:06Speaker 2: So that's something that I really like.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I always think of when I don't know what to pray about, maybe just doing the Lord's prayer, so something as simple as that.
- 8:16Speaker 2: But I can't say that I know every little thing about every scriptures.
- 8:20Speaker 2: But there are certain scriptures that I feel are important, like don't cast away your confidence, or be still and know.
- 8:30Speaker 2: And then, of course, the Lord is my shepherd.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I've been playing a lot these days.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I actually went to go see CCC Winans in concert and she sings a song called Shepherd and it talks a little bit about the Lord is my shepherd and she also talks a lot about she likes it better and her life is better when she's following the Heavenly Father, and it's such an amplifier song that I've been sharing that as a lay.
- 8:58Speaker 2: So people who I know, who have like-mindedness and faith like I do, I send those things to them, Shirley, but also for the people who I'm not quite sure about.
- 9:09Speaker 2: People will share with me I'm a Christian and I'll say I'm a Christian too, but I'll let them guide that to see how much.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Because even on the job you have to be very sensitive because everybody celebrates and they have different beliefs and you have to respect that.
- 9:24Speaker 2: But when I see a person who hungers for the word because that's I grew up with grandmothers who were very quote the Bible and went to church and when I see that hunger, I lean into that and I'm not ashamed to say you know, I tell people all the time I love God, I love the Lord, I call him the Heavenly Father, I call him all different types of things Jehovah Rafa, Jehovah Nisi, my provider, my everything.
- 9:52Speaker 2: And I'm not saying these things because when I get up in the morning I have to set my tone.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I am not perfect, I'm a center and I lean on him for everything, even when I'm weary.
- 10:04Speaker 2: So I may not have a scripture that is like oh, these are yeah but Bible study.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I go to church.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I think this is the most I've ever gone to church.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I have not really missed a Sunday.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I'm really into that part because it sustains me.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I can't even, I can't even really explain it.
- 10:27Speaker 2: It's just something that I'm not ashamed to share with other people.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Wow, I love that, I think.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I think I agree with.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I definitely agree with you.
- 10:36Speaker 1: There's been a shift, at least I've seen, over the last couple years hello dumping ground podcast, supporting the page turner podcast and the Mrs Pie podcast there's definitely been a shift over the last couple years where people have either left the church in droves or they've you know, they've they've you know wandered into the church.
- 11:01Speaker 1: And I think for a lot of us, who've you know, we've been, we've been going to church since we were knee high, okay, but what I know, what's changed for me is it's less about religion and more about the relationship.
- 11:15Speaker 1: We love you too.
- 11:16Speaker 1: We've got to give a shout out in the chat for those of y'all who are on the audio streets.
- 11:21Speaker 1: We should be hyping up people.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll be kisha.
- 11:24Speaker 1: So a lot, you know there's been a lot of that.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Have you seen that?
- 11:30Speaker 1: You know?
- 11:30Speaker 1: Have you seen that as well, or felt that shift where there's just more of a need for the relationship and less of the religion?
- 11:40Speaker 2: I have to go and get my.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I could see the devil is trying to do it where my computer, the battery is going to cut off and it would be something like this when it's been charged up, and I would have to say a little bit and I don't want to be rude a little bit of both.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I am seeing that people are hungry, hungry, thirsty yes, the thirst that we're talking about.
- 12:06Speaker 2: They need something in their life that is sustainable, yeah, and I find people are being more excuse me as I put this plug oh, yeah, that they are being energized, they're being reintroduced to getting back to the basics, because I think that people are finding out, because a lot of things were virtual at first.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Church became virtual during the midst of COVID and what I'm actually seeing for people are is that that's their firm foundation now.
- 12:41Speaker 2: So people who have gotten away from the church because before then it was you can go into the church and what I'm seeing now is like I really have leaned in to my faith because of the fact that some of the stuff that you see that's going on now, you're gonna actually really need it, and so now I'm just really zoning in and praying for people, because we live in a world now where it just has no shame.
- 13:10Speaker 2: There's so much stuff going on and I'm not being in judgment, but then you wonder like okay, instead of questioning that, I'm just gonna pray silently for that person, because you never know what they're going to or through.
- 13:23Speaker 2: So for me, what I'm seeing, even in just from a personal standpoint, is people are leaning into the heavenly father and they are praying and they understand that that prayer changes things and it basically changes lives, particularly when you're praying for others.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I love that.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I was gonna give a spotlight.
- 13:43Speaker 1: This is Dr Pinkins Hi, dr Pinkins.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And she was saying, absolutely, relationship, yeah, the relationship is critical.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Again, a lot of us have played church, have gone to church, have done the checkbox of being in church, and then I always tell people when you leave the building.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But you come out to the parking lot and who are you?
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what, shelly, I wanted to say too, like I have been going to this particular church online and I was like I hope this church comes to Atlanta one day, and I just for the last several years, and I feel like it was like a God week, and you know when it's a God week, where, you know, I moved all the way from Lithonia into somewhere in the town Duluth Georgia, yeah, great.
- 14:33Speaker 2: And here I am one day trying to get myself together to go and work out.
- 14:38Speaker 2: And this is a person I've been following, because everyone that you listen to is not going to give you something for your soul.
- 14:45Speaker 2: And when I listened to this pastor his name is Pastor, you know, darius Daniels, and he had a church in New Jersey and I heard all this hoopla about him, heard about his books, and the next thing, I know I'm getting ready to go to yoga or go walking.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I couldn't remember.
- 15:01Speaker 2: And he said welcome from Duluth Georgia.
- 15:06Speaker 2: What, what?
- 15:06Speaker 2: That man did not say Duluth Georgia, cause I didn't even know they were moving here.
- 15:13Speaker 2: And, sure enough, I said I gotta look and see what this is, cause this has to be close to me.
- 15:19Speaker 2: How about to me?
- 15:21Speaker 2: I feel like God was looking out for me.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Wow, I could walk to the church.
- 15:26Speaker 2: It's right on the same street but off of, you know, premier Parkway.
- 15:31Speaker 2: And I was like how does that work?
- 15:34Speaker 2: Where I found churches that I've gone to inside the brick and mortar building.
- 15:39Speaker 2: But I followed this man online virtually, which was a hunger and a thirst.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Sometimes in your life you have disappointment, loss.
- 15:47Speaker 2: You need to have a reset.
- 15:49Speaker 2: So I started following him because his words, because they matter.
- 15:52Speaker 2: He knew that Bible inside and out, but then he also made it relates to what was going on in my life.
- 15:58Speaker 2: So the fact that I've been going to this church for a whole year and they have a brick and mortar, and because he's been faithful Shelly, he's opened another church in DeKalb County Wow, that's how much it's gone.
- 16:11Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I love that.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You say that.
- 16:13Speaker 1: You know I'm very careful about who I get fed from.
- 16:21Speaker 1: You might still be coming up hungry.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, exactly.
- 16:26Speaker 1: So for me.
- 16:28Speaker 1: What's been so amazing is for me, the Holy Spirit literally tells me what to listen to, so I just I go, so I'll have folks who'll share whatever, and I'm like no, until he tells me, and then he'll confirm it over and over again and then I'll go.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But one of the pastors that I've been learning a lot from this isn't for milk y'all If you still drinking milk.
- 16:54Speaker 1: In a word, this ain't for you.
- 16:55Speaker 1: You get the steak level.
- 16:57Speaker 1: This is for you.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Okay, but it's a revelation church out of California and that's unproven lovey.
- 17:05Speaker 1: And so his sit-downs, what I call revealed, and he shares.
- 17:11Speaker 1: He goes really, really deep into the word and it's fed me in a different way.
- 17:16Speaker 1: And then for those who are looking for going back to the basics I think you mentioned that going back to the basics I've been led to just go back to listening to Oral Roberts.
- 17:26Speaker 1: You know, just back to the basics.
- 17:29Speaker 1: That's incumbent, just back to the basics, because the level of feeding that I'm doing has shifted a lot and also because I think it's because of the nature of the calling right.
- 17:39Speaker 1: We're all called to do different things and so we're kind of led to be fed in different ways, so I love that it wasn't about the location until he gave you the location.
- 17:53Speaker 2: It was timing too, because maybe at that point in my life I didn't need to go to a brick and mortar, I needed to just be with myself and I'm see, create my firm foundation.
- 18:05Speaker 2: And for me, I feel like that church, among other things that I've watched that have really spoke to me.
- 18:12Speaker 2: It really has bolstered my confidence, my inner woman, my shadow work.
- 18:16Speaker 2: It has done a great and tremendous thing to let me know that I am a proverbs 31 woman, that I could potentially be a wife, that if I'm doing my work then people will see my light and they will see that it's shining not just because of me, it's because of who I've allotted.
- 18:36Speaker 2: So, seeing all these things that he has said in terms of for women, chosen, selected, appointed, anointed, restored, confident I mean all of these things you keep hearing them wash and rinse and repeat proverbs 31 woman what does that look like?
- 18:52Speaker 2: It's like perfection.
- 18:53Speaker 2: That's right.
- 18:54Speaker 2: She was valued, trusted.
- 18:57Speaker 2: She was stirring up her gifts and I'm saying to myself I got gifts and I need to start stirring them up and I don't need to necessarily be in this quote, unquote specific place to do that.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And I think that that's what it taught me.
- 19:12Speaker 2: It reintroduced the fact that I love God and I'm not going to be ashamed about that wherever I go.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I'm not going to keep it silent, I'm going to amplify it.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I love that and the level of confidence that you mentioned that comes with that.
- 19:26Speaker 1: It's all it really does tie back to knowing again, knowing who you are, knowing who's you are and also what God says about you.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I tell people like the word heifer ain't in the Bible, so don't call me that right.
- 19:39Speaker 1: So it's understanding our identity and what we actually carry.
- 19:44Speaker 1: So for those maybe younger women who are trying to figure out their purpose and you've gone to church and you're looking at folks in the pulpit and thinking, oh man, I can't do ministry like that, right?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Maybe that's not the call for you, but what advice do you give to younger women who are trying to figure out their purpose through God's eyes?
- 20:05Speaker 2: I say that if I were to have a do-over and I was a younger woman, maybe some of this may apply.
- 20:12Speaker 2: But I think that Bible study is a great thing.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I've done small groups of Bible study where I just wanted to sit and listen and now, because I feel stronger in my faith, I have become an active participant.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Used to be a time where I would go to church and I didn't want to raise my hand, thank the Lord or whatever that looked like.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Now I'm just like you know what I am in my zone.
- 20:37Speaker 2: So it's really to me it's finding what makes you feel comfortable and doing what you want to do, and that could be as simple as going out and purchasing a Bible, being in a small group where you don't have to be in a larger group.
- 20:50Speaker 2: It could be very much going to church and then using your gifts to serve in the church.
- 20:57Speaker 2: So aligning your passion, your purpose like living your purpose on purpose with purpose in the church and letting it marinate in the line to what you do in your life.
- 21:08Speaker 2: So volunteerism, if you're able to like.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I had never volunteered at a church before, except when I was younger.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I didn't have a church that I really wanted to volunteer, but I love the fact to volunteer for children and doing those things like passing out the shoes, so things that you find joy, and then also understanding that your body is a temple, anything that pertains to your body, your mind, your soul, who you are as a woman, as a good human, that that belongs to the heavenly Father, right, and just really understanding your value and your worth.
- 21:47Speaker 2: And nobody is perfect.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I'm not sitting here standing like, oh, I got it all figured out because I don't.
- 21:52Speaker 2: What I am sharing with you is that I have this renews of confidence, and it's not my own and it's coming from being intentional about reading my Bible, listening to music, cutting things off, not being in spaces and places that would cause me to go back to old behaviors of understanding.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I'm not better than, I'm just different from.
- 22:16Speaker 2: I think it's like I'm different from that.
- 22:20Speaker 2: That was the old Tanya.
- 22:22Speaker 2: This is the new person.
- 22:23Speaker 2: I won't have anybody trying to tell me about the old version of me when I have done my shadow work.
- 22:31Speaker 2: So if I were a younger woman even if what I would tell my daughter is inviting somebody to church to sit with you, because sometimes all it takes is an invitation to have somebody's life change completely, but it's doing the incremental things that make you feel comfortable, because people talked about church with me and I just wanted to do it at my own time.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I would never, like I said, think about raising my hands to draw attention to myself when I'm, in actuality, nobody is looking at you but the Lord, and so it's just all of these different things that you could be doing, because in the world that we live in, you're gonna need that firm foundation, and I feel like even teaching our children early on about going to church, tying things you know we used to give our dollars, right, shelley?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Yes, yes, that you need to put in the church.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Now you've got to put me too.
- 23:24Speaker 2: And Passing the plates.
- 23:27Speaker 2: They go in this way, going that way, and you put your money in there, and it's like I'm just getting reintroduced about not religion but the relationship Then I choose to have.
- 23:42Speaker 2: It's not because I have to have it.
- 23:44Speaker 2: That's what's happening.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Love that, I love that.
- 23:50Speaker 1: It's not, you know, he doesn't.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Lord doesn't force himself on anyone.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I had this conversation with a woman a couple months ago where there's a song out that talks about the Lord, the 90, chasing the one of 99, or something like that, and she was Pitching it to me as if, well, the Lord is always chasing after me and I was like, hold on, that's not exactly.
- 24:17Speaker 1: You can't like do whatever you want and he's just gonna keep running after you.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That's not, that's a misinterpretation.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Interpretation it's you, it's you, you have to.
- 24:27Speaker 1: You have it's two-way right.
- 24:28Speaker 1: It's a relationship.
- 24:30Speaker 1: So if you think about a friend, if you have a friend, and all you're doing every time you see that friend you ask me for something.
- 24:35Speaker 1: You're not listening.
- 24:37Speaker 1: That is, you know, that is kind of the nature of the relationship.
- 24:41Speaker 1: It works two ways and at some point you have to kind of surrender yourself to the Lord so he can be Lord in your life, so he can literally be Lord.
- 24:50Speaker 1: That's what people are seeing is Tanya.
- 24:53Speaker 1: For Tanya the Lord is, is literally the head of her life, and so all of these other things have kind of aligned to that and it builds your confidence because you know who's you are, you know who you are, and and that's just the way it is.
- 25:07Speaker 2: What shelly.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I want to say too, if you don't mind, is that yeah learning a lot about forgiveness.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yes, forgiveness is not necessarily for the other person, it is for yourself.
- 25:19Speaker 2: And I'm learning that sometimes forgiveness doesn't mean Reentry or additional access.
- 25:25Speaker 2: And I'm learning a lot of things because some of the sermons that I'm learning right now is God didn't say that.
- 25:31Speaker 2: So Demystify some of the things that come on now when people put Bible on it.
- 25:38Speaker 2: But it's right and it's like you forget about who you are and who's you are.
- 25:43Speaker 2: And sometimes we're out in the world and we think that you know, promotion comes from the Heavenly Father.
- 25:51Speaker 2: You know leadership comes from the Heavenly Father.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Every knee is going to bow and give a confession of their wrongdoing.
- 25:58Speaker 2: We think that some people are further ahead, that where's God?
- 26:03Speaker 2: But sometimes I'm starting to realize that he is working behind the scenes.
- 26:10Speaker 2: And so those open doors I swing through those open doors because it's been said to me I need to walk through that door, but then I'm also learning too about closed doors.
- 26:18Speaker 2: That's my way of life.
- 26:21Speaker 2: So it's like just learning all of these different things about how God does things, and I know I'm not even close to that, but it surely, if he can forgive or something is going on.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I'm just trying to be a better human being.
- 26:36Speaker 2: I'm not perfect, but just trying to be better.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I love that and that very point about demystifying.
- 26:42Speaker 1: By the way, you know, if you want to understand what the Lord's saying, you got a relationship.
- 26:47Speaker 1: That literally is the cheat code.
- 26:49Speaker 1: You know that you can go to church and listen to your pastor, but you got to go back in your car, you got to go back home, you got to go to your job, you got to deal with your kids.
- 26:57Speaker 1: You cannot do it without a one on one relationship and seriously, that is our cheat code.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Without that actual relationship, it's just words and it won't hit your heart Right.
- 27:09Speaker 1: And he is interested in your heart, your heart posture and all of that.
- 27:13Speaker 1: So we're down to a few more minutes and I wanted to find out if you had any last words.
- 27:19Speaker 1: We have a large military community on social network again, the Parade Act TV and everyone who's at the mic right now but do you have any words, last words, especially for our military community when it comes to, maybe, faith, that faith that work that way.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Yeah, with so many things that are going on in the world, I think that the one thing that we can do is we have to have a posture of prayer, and that is praying about situations that are happening, praying about disaster in the world, praying for our leaders, and so when I think about the military our dad, my brother and I he was in the military and he was in the army, and so my prayer to you is that you will understand that God is in the front, he's in the back, he's on the side, and all you have to do is reach up, ask, ask for discernment.
- 28:17Speaker 2: More importantly is to ask for wisdom and to pray for the people who are leading us.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Pray for the praying for your enemies yeah, yeah, that's the thing as well and then just praying for you know people just outside of yourself.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I can imagine being in the military when you're out, whether it's in the field or wherever you're at that you feel alone, but you are never really truly alone.
- 28:43Speaker 2: So you have a person that you can call anytime of the day and you can ask any questions and you can seek him for guidance and for whatever you need in your life.
- 28:53Speaker 2: He's the one who fills up your hearts.
- 28:56Speaker 2: He's the one who can ease your pain.
- 28:58Speaker 2: He is the one who can edify you, sustain you and promote you and grow you, and so remember that he is your source.
- 29:05Speaker 2: So we are kind of like the branches right, but he is the right place where we need to be plugged into.
- 29:13Speaker 2: So whenever you're feeling disheartened, that's the place that you need to go, not people, not to look outside, but to look inward through the Holy Spirit and then to ask him to put his super on your natural.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Wow, I love that so much Again, y'all.
- 29:31Speaker 1: This is why I keep bringing her back, because it doesn't really matter what topic we hit.
- 29:35Speaker 1: She is just phenomenal.
