- 1:41Speaker 2: day that Joe Coy is getting his hands and feet
- 1:45Speaker 2: in the Cement Nice at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And so yeah, I'm hosting the event. I've watched I
- 1:52Speaker 2: think about four really videos so far to know what
- 1:58Speaker 2: I'm supposed to do. It's shocking the lack of communication
- 2:04Speaker 2: I did. And so that's that's great. That's giving me
- 2:09Speaker 2: some anxiety about it. But you know what, whatever speech written,
- 2:13Speaker 2: it'll be, it'll be fine. I'm not writing a speech
- 2:15Speaker 2: because I don't I don't really believe in like writing
- 2:18Speaker 2: something out like a word for word kind of thing.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Just more like you have an idea of what you
- 2:22Speaker 2: want to say, right and then you know, speak from
- 2:25Speaker 2: you know, speak from the heart. You can have some notes,
- 2:27Speaker 2: but like not that like because I tell you, man,
- 2:29Speaker 2: people are word for word. But I think notes, notes,
- 2:33Speaker 2: notes are fine. Although the people that I saw doing it,
- 2:36Speaker 2: like our friend Big Boy, he did it for Gabriel Iglesias,
- 2:40Speaker 2: and he did a great job. He just came up
- 2:41Speaker 2: there and he was like, you know, just casual. He
- 2:43Speaker 2: was himself about how long was it it was? It
- 2:46Speaker 2: wasn't very long, like because they brought Big Boy up
- 2:50Speaker 2: and then they had Big Boy. He said a few
- 2:52Speaker 2: words like you know, and then he brought up somebody else,
- 2:55Speaker 2: and then that person had something to say about Gabe,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and then they brought somebody else up. That person had
- 2:59Speaker 2: something to say about Gabe, and then it was time
- 3:02Speaker 2: for the the actual like you know whatever. So pretty
- 3:05Speaker 2: cool and and of course like Gabriel, you know, got
- 3:08Speaker 2: to speak. But yeah, you know it sucks though. I
- 3:11Speaker 2: ordered some new like just straight black jeans that were
- 3:16Speaker 2: supposed to have been delivered yesterday, and I even to
- 3:18Speaker 2: the overnight delivery right never arrived.
- 3:23Speaker 4: There mother efforts worried about what do I wear?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean Amazon, No, it wasn't Amazon.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Can I recommend them?
- 3:32Speaker 2: All? Them? Don't fit right? You know what I mean,
- 3:37Speaker 2: don't Yeah, just off the shelf kind of thing, just
- 3:39Speaker 2: don't fit right, like the off the shelf as far
- 3:41Speaker 2: because I always get my genes for it's called the
- 3:43Speaker 2: perfect gene n y C. It's a It was like
- 3:47Speaker 2: one of those things that got advertised through social media.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Got the jeans I wear every day, Yeah, and they're great,
- 3:52Speaker 2: like they're really.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Comfortable to those flex fit things that are kind of like.
- 3:55Speaker 2: They're a little almost no it's den but there was
- 3:58Speaker 2: some stretch indent it's good. It's good. These these are
- 4:02Speaker 2: these great jeans that I'm wearing right now, and they
- 4:04Speaker 2: are great. I don't know what the hell happened, but
- 4:07Speaker 2: I paid for the overnight thing and they Yeah, I'm
- 4:10Speaker 2: sure I'm gonna get something from it, but yeah you
- 4:12Speaker 2: can will jokes on you now, I'm sending them right
- 4:14Speaker 2: back there.
- 4:17Speaker 6: What do you want to wear? Though, that's the real question.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I just have like a just a black button down
- 4:22Speaker 2: like stuff that I wear to, you know, other important
- 4:25Speaker 2: things that I'm supposed to go to. It's the one
- 4:27Speaker 2: nice shirt that I am dressing. Although that's the other thing.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Noticing these these other people who are doing this stuff,
- 4:34Speaker 2: they weren't dressed super fancy. Yeah, yeah, that kind of
- 4:38Speaker 2: took the pressure off. I just want this to be
- 4:40Speaker 2: right for Joe. That's the biggest thing, friend of ours,
- 4:43Speaker 2: super nice guy, big moment is life. I just want
- 4:46Speaker 2: it to be smooth, and.
- 4:47Speaker 4: He wants you to be you. Yeah, I want you
- 4:50Speaker 4: in like some random outfit.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so perfect, totally in my head. Got me exactly
- 4:55Speaker 2: how I normally am. Phones open eight seven, seven forty
- 4:59Speaker 2: four or Woodie, you can hit us up with the
- 5:02Speaker 2: text over to two ninety seven. Here's a fun fact.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Thirty nine percent of men have no idea how to
- 5:05Speaker 2: iron a shirt properly. See I know how to iron
- 5:08Speaker 2: it proper category. I think ironing is one of the
- 5:11Speaker 2: most difficult things. See, that's why I brought this shirt.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I brought it to the cleaner, so be it all
- 5:15Speaker 2: done proper. Yeah, yeah, that's what I would do. Yeah, ironing.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I mean it's a pain in the ass with the
- 5:20Speaker 4: sleeves and the collars, but it can be down.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Buttons and everything. I don't think it's that big a deal.
- 5:23Speaker 2: O hard Have you seen this dumb thing? I keep
- 5:26Speaker 2: seeing this advertised You put the shirt on it and
- 5:28Speaker 2: it inflates. It's like a.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Mannequin st Yeah, I've seen it.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And then it flates, but it blows like warm air
- 5:35Speaker 2: through it, so it takes the wrinkle out of it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: But I'm thinking, like, what a tedious process to like
- 5:39Speaker 2: put the shirt on this stupid inflatable torso thing, like
- 5:45Speaker 2: one shirt at a time, a steamer. There was something
- 5:48Speaker 2: I went to, man, where the hell was it? There
- 5:51Speaker 2: was something where they were showing off. Not a Cees
- 5:53Speaker 2: kind of thing, but there was like a oh, I
- 5:54Speaker 2: know what it was. It was a Disney World at
- 5:57Speaker 2: Epcot and they had this this exhibition going on where
- 6:01Speaker 2: you could see like appliances of the future, like some
- 6:04Speaker 2: of the stuff that like ge and Whirlpool, all these
- 6:06Speaker 2: different things they're working on for the home. And it's
- 6:08Speaker 2: one thing I don't know if they ever came out
- 6:09Speaker 2: with it, but it was this appliance that goes in
- 6:12Speaker 2: your closet and you could take stuff that you wanted
- 6:15Speaker 2: the wrinkles out of and just hang it up in
- 6:17Speaker 2: this thing and close the door.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Oh yeah, we're talking.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, they have that. Yeah that actually that actually went.
- 6:23Speaker 1: No.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I don't know if there was like steam involved there
- 6:25Speaker 2: or if it was just like there was like forget
- 6:27Speaker 2: what it or something in there so you could just
- 6:29Speaker 2: like it goes, just hang it, it gets installed. This
- 6:32Speaker 2: thing gets installed. Is part of your closet that I'll take, okay,
- 6:36Speaker 2: and it's like put it in there.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Our friends at CCL make one, they do, Dude, get
- 6:42Speaker 5: one for the studio.
- 6:44Speaker 2: This is years ago. Because I do hate ironing. I'd
- 6:46Speaker 2: rather instead of ironing stuff, I'll just throw it in
- 6:49Speaker 2: the dryer. I'll get it nice and hot, and then
- 6:51Speaker 2: i'll take it out of the dryer and then lay
- 6:52Speaker 2: it flat and just use my hands to smooth it,
- 6:54Speaker 2: just to smooth it out. Good enough. That's it, good enough?
- 6:57Speaker 2: All right? Eight seven seven forty four Wood text us
- 7:00Speaker 2: over to two two nine eight seven more Wood. He
- 7:02Speaker 2: shows next hang up? So what do you show me?
- 7:06Speaker 2: Spreads back? What's up?
- 7:08Speaker 5: Podcast listeners? It's menace. Do you remember when I walked
- 7:11Speaker 5: forty miles in one day and you watched it live
- 7:14Speaker 5: on the internet. I did that with Mint Mobile. Yeah,
- 7:17Speaker 5: every single phone that was streaming that day. I was
- 7:21Speaker 5: using the mint Mobile network. And the reason I did
- 7:23Speaker 5: that is because I paid for every phone myself and
- 7:26Speaker 5: I needed a reliable network. But also I didn't want
- 7:30Speaker 5: to break the bank. You know, you can get unlimited
- 7:32Speaker 5: for fifteen bucks a month. Look at your phone bill
- 7:35Speaker 5: right now, and I'm sure maybe you might be paying
- 7:38Speaker 5: for somebody else as well, and you might think, oh,
- 7:40Speaker 5: it's just too hard to switch.
- 7:41Speaker 2: No it's not.
- 7:42Speaker 5: You can easily do it online. They'll show you how
- 7:44Speaker 5: to do it. Why pay all that money? Check out
- 7:46Speaker 5: how much you can save at this special website mint
- 7:49Speaker 5: mobile dot com slash woody. That's mintmobile dot com slash
- 7:55Speaker 5: woody just compare what you'll get for what you're paying.

- 8:03Speaker 2: This is the show. I got the the Birthday's corner.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Birthday coming up for you in just a few minutes.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I was speaking of a porno birthday. What was the
- 8:11Speaker 2: thing that you had you?
- 8:12Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 8:13Speaker 4: Bonnie bon is back baby.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:15Speaker 4: She's making more headlines because she claims she had unprotected
- 8:19Speaker 4: sex with four hundred men in one day.
- 8:21Speaker 7: Is that it?
- 8:22Speaker 2: Is that a flex?
- 8:22Speaker 4: Well yeah, check perflex. It's a new world record and
- 8:26Speaker 4: it was just the other day on February seventh. That's
- 8:28Speaker 4: this big mansion in the UK, and men waited for
- 8:31Speaker 4: like seven hours to quote unquote breed her.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I mentioned you're the last call.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Game, the cleanup guy. Oh yeah, she says. The challenge
- 8:39Speaker 4: was to completion rather than a numbers game, so it
- 8:42Speaker 4: wasn't just like you know, a dip and go. So
- 8:44Speaker 4: that's why it was like seven hours.
- 8:45Speaker 5: That just shows you how gross and desperate guys are. Yeah. Yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 5: they tell you, Oh women are asties, man, No what.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Growth?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Yeah, just getting the money from So the previous record
- 8:56Speaker 4: was only sixty five dudes. So she's she smoked Arianna
- 8:59Speaker 4: Joe from two thousand and four.
- 9:01Speaker 3: And I talked to some of these girls about this,
- 9:02Speaker 3: and they do full on like tests for these guys.
- 9:05Speaker 3: But there are such a thing as false negatives, and
- 9:08Speaker 3: it just takes.
- 9:09Speaker 4: One there you go, you'll never find Yeah. And she
- 9:13Speaker 4: she's talked about in the past that she's had like
- 9:15Speaker 4: fertility struggles, so I think this was a giant to
- 9:19Speaker 4: get pregnant.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well, this is just to make sure.
- 9:21Speaker 4: It's like the guy exactly.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I forget what the service was when the guy started
- 9:24Speaker 2: the uh man, what was it? I forget what it was,
- 9:28Speaker 2: but basically, you can lock down your social Security number.
- 9:30Speaker 2: He would give out a social city LifeLock. Yeah, and
- 9:34Speaker 2: the guy got burned hard because like he gave out
- 9:36Speaker 2: a subisecrite number, people still were able to mass if
- 9:39Speaker 2: that was the same guy. Whatever it was, I think I.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Think it was like LifeLock founder is identity. He was
- 9:45Speaker 3: stolen thirteen times.
- 9:47Speaker 4: She's double raw doc during these guys not to get
- 9:50Speaker 4: her pregnant.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Yeah, let's we get to the hundred birthday is part
- 9:53Speaker 2: of birthday here in a second, So this twitch streamer,
- 9:56Speaker 2: I don't know who this is, Aiden Ross.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Oh no, he's a streamer, not twitch.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Okay, well whatever, he bought the Breaking Bad House apparently
- 10:04Speaker 2: because remember like they were asking like four million and
- 10:07Speaker 2: then it came down to four hundred thousand. I have
- 10:09Speaker 2: no idea because it didn't mention how much he paid
- 10:11Speaker 2: for it. But in the neighborhood of that apparently, apparently
- 10:17Speaker 2: his idea is to do kind of what the Christmas
- 10:19Speaker 2: story House guy did and make it like a one
- 10:21Speaker 2: for one replica inside and out, like what you see
- 10:25Speaker 2: on the shows. Uh. So, Brad Pitt's character Cliff Booth
- 10:31Speaker 2: from Once upon a Time in Hollywood, which I never watched.
- 10:34Speaker 5: Right, it's very.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Long and you thought it was about the Manson murders.
- 10:38Speaker 2: But yeah, he won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor
- 10:43Speaker 2: for that role. Well, he's going to be in the
- 10:45Speaker 2: sequel from Netflix and uh he is reviving his part
- 10:49Speaker 2: as the stuntman and the Adventures of Cliff Booth, that's
- 10:52Speaker 2: what they're calling. So you guys know that song American
- 10:55Speaker 2: Pie Bye by Miss American Pie. All Right? Is this
- 10:58Speaker 2: Gross McLean who's the singer of that song. He's eighty
- 11:04Speaker 2: years old. Gross. He is celebrating his tenth anniversary with
- 11:11Speaker 2: his girlfriend who's thirty one.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Whoa wait a second, let me do the math on that.
- 11:16Speaker 6: I support it.
- 11:17Speaker 2: That's high five, you support it?
- 11:18Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Would date a eighty year old man.
- 11:21Speaker 2: You would. What's you have to have? You have to
- 11:24Speaker 2: have like full like relationship, Yeah, you know it, not
- 11:28Speaker 2: just companionship like actual.
- 11:30Speaker 5: No actual, of course, Yeah, yeah, I do it.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Really, I don't even know what he looks like.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Make sure, man, I don't know what he looks like
- 11:38Speaker 3: back in his heyday. He I mean for eighty, he's
- 11:41Speaker 3: not terrible. I'm certainly not. He's thirty one at all.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Yeah, dommany thirty one? Though Gregary knows the net worth?
- 11:50Speaker 2: What is it? I know? I haven't even and it's
- 11:53Speaker 2: not so much.
- 11:54Speaker 5: One, which is bad, but it's it's seventy this guy really,
- 12:00Speaker 5: she's like old balls man?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:02Speaker 2: How old it really? Does?
- 12:04Speaker 6: I'm super intolder man.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but how much older? Dude's eighty Yeah that's a
- 12:09Speaker 2: little old for me.
- 12:10Speaker 6: Well for like fifty or six?
- 12:11Speaker 4: Yeah, but his bank accounts like eighty million, right.
- 12:15Speaker 5: So that makes them pretty hot.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:17Speaker 2: So you're looking for like show like a fifty The
- 12:19Speaker 2: ideally it would be what a fifty some year older
- 12:22Speaker 2: you love, like fifty seven, fifty seven?
- 12:24Speaker 6: Yeah, they're like sixty two.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Okay, before the fifty seven year old start texting in
- 12:28Speaker 3: what would be their minimum yearly salary, you would require,
- 12:31Speaker 3: Morgan be honest.
- 12:32Speaker 6: Well, my first instinct is to say I don't care,
- 12:35Speaker 6: but I do care.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Now, so let's let's be not a loser.
- 12:38Speaker 6: Yeah, just not a loser. So what number is that?
- 12:40Speaker 6: It doesn't have to be rich, like two hundred k
- 12:42Speaker 6: oh more? Agan, Is that enough?
- 12:44Speaker 5: No, that's a that's a ton. That's a lot to me.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Wait, you mean just like of all of his earnings,
- 12:49Speaker 4: like he probably per year. Okay, looks like, oh, Morgan,
- 12:53Speaker 4: you're not going to say prefer for your kids.
- 12:54Speaker 6: To be grown and like doing their own thing.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Yeah you step mom?
- 12:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean its just number right, Morgan. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 2: that's what That's what Morgan has been. China said, all right,

- 13:21Speaker 2: nine years old today Jennifer Aniston is fifty seven. Where
- 13:25Speaker 2: would I know her from? Dad? A couple of things, maybe.
- 13:29Speaker 5: A couple show that's Duncan commercial.

- 13:52Speaker 2: Brandy is forty seven. Uh, the R and B singer
- 13:55Speaker 2: Khalid is twenty eight. Isaiah Mustafa Go Old Spice Commercials
- 14:00Speaker 2: is fifty two. Damian Lewis Bobby axl Rod. If you
- 14:04Speaker 2: watch you ever watch Billions on short Time, No show's
- 14:07Speaker 2: all right. He's fifty five. Then Tina Louise Ginger on
- 14:14Speaker 2: Gilligan's Years Old. Yeah, your porn of Birthday Today is
- 14:22Speaker 2: Paris White and Today's Birthday Girl. She has handled more
- 14:24Speaker 2: nuts than the Jeff Peanut Butter Factory. One hundred and
- 14:28Speaker 2: sixty four fine films, including Filled to the Brim Volume one.
- 14:32Speaker 2: She was in Giving My Stepsister the Finger Nice also
- 14:35Speaker 2: foot fetish Princess Palace, Young Rimming addicts. She was in

- 14:50Speaker 2: And you guys who can forget her unforgetable role in
- 14:52Speaker 2: put a finger in it. That is Paris White, thirty
- 14:58Speaker 2: four years old today.

- 15:06Speaker 2: that's your porn of birthday, your celebrity birthdays. And that
- 15:10Speaker 2: is a Wednesday morning. Look at what's happening around the
- 15:12Speaker 2: world of entertainment here on The Woody Show. The Woody Show.
- 15:20Speaker 2: All right, welcome back, everybody, yell and the round of
- 15:23Speaker 2: entertainment stuff. We were talking about that dude, but whatever
- 15:25Speaker 2: he is, he's an influencer of some kind, streamer of
- 15:28Speaker 2: some kind. He's big in the streaming TI well. He
- 15:32Speaker 2: apparently bought the Breaking Bad House, So Walter White's house
- 15:36Speaker 2: from the well, the one that was you know, used
- 15:38Speaker 2: for the show. It's been on sale. He bought it.
- 15:41Speaker 2: But now there's something else involving Breaking Bad and you
- 15:43Speaker 2: study finding that the breaking bad effect is very real.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Have you heard about this.
- 15:48Speaker 4: No, and I've seen it seven times straight through.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Okay, it's the breaking bad effects. So researchers looking at
- 15:53Speaker 2: data from close to four hundred thousand people who had
- 15:56Speaker 2: been diagnosed with cancer between nineteen eighty and twenty eight,
- 16:01Speaker 2: and then they linked up those records with criminal registries.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Oh interesting, So did get diagnosed, getting diagnosed and they
- 16:10Speaker 2: got into the world of crime. Yeah, then all of
- 16:11Speaker 2: a sudden they just start criming. Like Walter White, you know,
- 16:14Speaker 2: like why he was he was fine until he realized
- 16:17Speaker 2: that he was dying of cancer, and then he wanted
- 16:19Speaker 2: to set up his family, and so she took his
- 16:21Speaker 2: chemistry skills and started making the blue stuff. Right anyway,
- 16:24Speaker 2: According to the numbers, fourteen percent of people with cancer
- 16:27Speaker 2: committed crimes within two years of being diagnosed, most of
- 16:31Speaker 2: them first time lawbreakers. The diagnosis acts as a negative
- 16:35Speaker 2: turning point in their life, and so during the first year,
- 16:37Speaker 2: most of those fourteen percent don't commit any crimes because,
- 16:41Speaker 2: you know, just the initial shock of the cancer diagnosis
- 16:43Speaker 2: is still weighing on them. But then once that shock
- 16:45Speaker 2: wears off in year two, that's when the criming starts.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Wait, is it, like, what does it matter anymore.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Yeah, like maybe maybe you need, like you're desperate for
- 16:54Speaker 2: money treatment Or a guy who did that with his mom,
- 16:58Speaker 2: his new his mom had terminal cancer that ran up
- 17:00Speaker 2: her credit card bills, knowing, damn well, they weren't knowing
- 17:03Speaker 2: damn well, she had no estate that they could that
- 17:05Speaker 2: the credit card company could go after. And then then
- 17:07Speaker 2: he told everybody about it after the statute of limitations.
- 17:11Speaker 5: Yeah, what a cool guy. Guy Doug dan Helpe, he's
- 17:15Speaker 5: a comedian.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Oh he did that.
- 17:17Speaker 5: He wrote about it in his book. Oh really is
- 17:19Speaker 5: that real? Well according to.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Him, huh wow, I mean I know, Doug dan Hope,
- 17:24Speaker 2: that sounds about right.
- 17:25Speaker 5: No, yeah, yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 6: Do you not get the diet when your parents die?
- 17:28Speaker 6: They don't.
- 17:30Speaker 5: If they did, you.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Don't get it. And assuming if there's no estate, you know,
- 17:33Speaker 3: they'll take it out of the estate. Credit card company
- 17:35Speaker 3: will go after your you know, your house or whatever
- 17:37Speaker 3: your inheritance. But if there is none of that to
- 17:39Speaker 3: speak of, their their sol.
- 17:41Speaker 2: What was the story? I mean, it dies with you
- 17:43Speaker 2: if that's the case, Greg, What was the story that
- 17:45Speaker 2: you told? Was it about somebody that you knew who
- 17:48Speaker 2: was about to file for bankruptcy?
- 17:50Speaker 10: Yes, And so they did the same thing where they're like, oh,
- 17:52Speaker 10: I know, damn well, in about whatever two weeks, I'm
- 17:55Speaker 10: going to file for bankruptcy. So they did the same thing,
- 17:57Speaker 10: ran up the credit cards, got flat screen TVs, got
- 18:00Speaker 10: this new washer and dryer. How do you keep that stuff?
- 18:02Speaker 10: And then they filed for bankruptcy and apparently kept all
- 18:05Speaker 10: that crap.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Because it's such a paint. If you're going to go
- 18:08Speaker 3: get a five hundred dollars whatever.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Turn around, sell it. See what they can get for
- 18:12Speaker 2: They get the time and energy they will spend to
- 18:14Speaker 2: resell the washer and dry that you bought to try
- 18:17Speaker 2: to recoup any of their money. I mean not, that's
- 18:20Speaker 2: just not that's not that's rampant too. Oh yeah, everywhere
- 18:24Speaker 2: people are scumbags, man, they are. And see and how
- 18:27Speaker 2: does that kind of stuff not come around to those people.
- 18:29Speaker 2: You never hear about karma coming around on that kind
- 18:33Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 10: But I think with the cancer thing, if if there
- 18:36Speaker 10: was a diagnosis, I would do less criming and more
- 18:39Speaker 10: just reckless eating. Oh yeah, I would probably take up
- 18:44Speaker 10: smoking again.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Drink you can beat the cancer to the finish life

- 19:46Speaker 4: Well, it's day eleven in the search for Nancy Guthrie,
- 19:49Speaker 4: and police thought they might have been catching some breaks. Yesterday,
- 19:52Speaker 4: the FBI released doorbell camera footage of an armed guy
- 19:55Speaker 4: at Nancy's house the night she disappeared. The person seen
- 19:59Speaker 4: walking up to the door full mask and gloves, messing
- 20:01Speaker 4: with the camera. They also had a full backpack on
- 20:04Speaker 4: and a gun holstered in the front of their pants.
- 20:07Speaker 4: Then last night, cops announced that they brought a person
- 20:09Speaker 4: in for questioning after a traffic stop and they searched
- 20:11Speaker 4: a place associated with that guy. But that dude since
- 20:14Speaker 4: has been released and in an interview he said he's
- 20:16Speaker 4: just a door dash driver and then he was effing
- 20:19Speaker 4: shocked to be caught up in this investigation.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Yeah, am, but I hope they catch him.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Yeah he was. Yeah, like it was like live news
- 20:26Speaker 4: would were you shocked?
- 20:27Speaker 5: F Yeah, he does sound like a tall stoner.
- 20:30Speaker 10: Yeah, Am I missing something? Or why did it take
- 20:32Speaker 10: so long to release that footage of the masked?
- 20:34Speaker 5: Many questions she did not a subscription to.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 20:41Speaker 5: But so they still record it.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Interesting that mask, That mask is a thing a nightmare.
- 20:47Speaker 2: They have access like they of course it's all being recorded.
- 20:50Speaker 2: You just don't have access unless you pay for it,
- 20:52Speaker 2: so they.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Have to get the subpoena or whatever. Well, meanwhile, Savannah
- 20:55Speaker 4: Guthrie posted the pictures of the mask person on her
- 20:58Speaker 4: Instagram saying we believe she's still alive, Bring her home.
- 21:02Speaker 4: She added a second post that said someone out there
- 21:04Speaker 4: recognizes this person. We believe she is still out there,
- 21:08Speaker 4: bring her home.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Seemed like they had a lot of layers on though, Yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 5: look at it on their face.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Well, there was some guy who people there in town
- 21:16Speaker 2: thought was the guy because like I guess he's got
- 21:18Speaker 2: the same eyes and whatever. He's always around delivering stuff
- 21:22Speaker 2: around the area and falsely accused.
- 21:25Speaker 5: Yeah, that sucks.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I felt bad for that dude.
- 21:27Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 21:28Speaker 10: So if I've done sexy things in front of the
- 21:31Speaker 10: ring doorbell, are they watching it?
- 21:33Speaker 2: Well, they have it, they do have it's recorded.
- 21:36Speaker 4: That is an excellent question, because Greg, we've done some
- 21:39Speaker 4: pool things.
- 21:40Speaker 10: See oh no, I know, Okay, sound's getting a free
- 21:44Speaker 10: show you with that later.
- 21:46Speaker 4: Ten people are dead in another twenty five injured in
- 21:49Speaker 4: a school shooting that happened in Canada yesterday. The incident
- 21:53Speaker 4: happened in the town of tumblr Ridge, British Columbia. It's
- 21:56Speaker 4: a small school, only about one hundred and seventy five students.
- 21:59Speaker 4: When people are arrived. When police arrived, six people were dead.
- 22:02Speaker 4: One died on the way to the hospital. Two more
- 22:04Speaker 4: people were found at a house that's connected to the attack,
- 22:07Speaker 4: and the shooter's dead, so that's ten. Police also arrested
- 22:10Speaker 4: a woman who says, they say is connected with the shooting,
- 22:13Speaker 4: but we don't know the motives. The last school shooting
- 22:16Speaker 4: of this scale in Canada, though, that was nineteen eighty nine,
- 22:19Speaker 4: when some psycho murdered fourteen women in Montreal. And the
- 22:23Speaker 4: numbers are in for the Super Bowl and the halftime show,
- 22:26Speaker 4: and it's safe to say that both were pretty much
- 22:28Speaker 4: the most ever watched. NBC averaged one hundred and twenty
- 22:31Speaker 4: five million US viewers during the game, which makes that
- 22:34Speaker 4: the second most watched TV broadcast in history, only behind
- 22:38Speaker 4: last year's Super Bowl, which I'm still shocked out thinking
- 22:41Speaker 4: about how boring everyone said it was. People really just
- 22:44Speaker 4: wanted to see this boring game.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Wait, so that beat out mash or whatever. That's what
- 22:49Speaker 2: I'm saying, because like there were four channels exactly, choice,
- 22:54Speaker 2: no choice, Yeah, exactly. And I thought that's why those
- 22:57Speaker 2: old numbers were always unbeatable, because yeah, but.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Now we have people have more TVs. Yeah. The number
- 23:04Speaker 4: also meant that it was the most watched broadcast in
- 23:06Speaker 4: the one hundred year history of NBC. The halftime show
- 23:09Speaker 4: with Bad Bunny that drew one hundred and twenty eight
- 23:11Speaker 4: million viewers, which is more than the actual game. It's
- 23:14Speaker 4: not the most watched halftime show though, It's slightly down
- 23:18Speaker 4: from Kendrick Lamar's last year and good enough for fourth
- 23:22Speaker 4: on the list behind Kendrick, Michael Jackson, and Usher.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, so initially there were reports coming out it
- 23:28Speaker 2: was the most watched halftime show ever, and I'm like
- 23:29Speaker 2: to just based on how politicized the thing became, there
- 23:32Speaker 2: was no way that was true.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Yeah, because people were turning it off protests.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Like Kendrick Lamar, whether you liked him or hate him,
- 23:38Speaker 2: it wasn't politicized. It was just like, you know, there
- 23:40Speaker 2: was about Drake and it was beef.
- 23:43Speaker 5: So you also have a Canaida maybe a Canada factor
- 23:46Speaker 5: of extra viewers.
- 23:47Speaker 6: Yeah, Drake fans.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Well.
- 23:50Speaker 4: The US is moving up in Olympic medal race after
- 23:53Speaker 4: earning three more medals. Yesterday, the mixed doubles curling team
- 23:57Speaker 4: finished just short of a gold medal, losing to Sweden
- 23:59Speaker 4: and the match, but they did get the silver and
- 24:02Speaker 4: the US also took calm the bronze in the women's
- 24:04Speaker 4: single luge and took hom bronze for women's team combined
- 24:08Speaker 4: alpine skiing and looking at the medal count Norway leads
- 24:11Speaker 4: the pack with twelve medals, Italy and second with eleven,
- 24:14Speaker 4: Japan and third with eight, and the US SIT's at
- 24:17Speaker 4: number four with seven. And we've got to talk about
- 24:21Speaker 4: this dude. Stirla log Ride, the Norwegian skier. He was
- 24:26Speaker 4: being interviewed at the Olympics exam is log Ride lug
- 24:29Speaker 4: ride lag rides after winning a bronze medal when he
- 24:37Speaker 4: suddenly broke down in tears, then totally unprompted, confessed to
- 24:41Speaker 4: cheating on his girlfriend in the middle of the interview.
- 24:43Speaker 4: In this emotional plea to get it back, we play it,
- 24:46Speaker 4: but it's not in English. He started by thanking his
- 24:48Speaker 4: family and his supporters, but went on to say, six
- 24:50Speaker 4: months ago I met the love of my life, the
- 24:53Speaker 4: world's most beautiful, sweetest person. Three months ago I made
- 24:58Speaker 4: the biggest mistake of my life and chieved on her.
- 25:01Speaker 4: He went on to say that that was all he's
- 25:04Speaker 4: been thinking about for the past week and that's been
- 25:06Speaker 4: the worst week of his life. Happy Olympics now his
- 25:09Speaker 4: ex who wants to remain anonymous, she is speaking out.
- 25:12Speaker 4: She did give an interview and said the cheating is
- 25:14Speaker 4: hard to forgive, even after a declaration of love in
- 25:17Speaker 4: front of the whole world.
- 25:18Speaker 6: Yeah dog, but ladies, did you like that? It was
- 25:21Speaker 6: a turn off for me. It's icky, made him look
- 25:23Speaker 6: like a pussy.
- 25:26Speaker 12: On your sports And also mons in like, okay, well,
- 25:30Speaker 12: I think like relax, like he cheated on her halfway
- 25:33Speaker 12: through the relationship. It was only six months anyways, you know,
- 25:36Speaker 12: are we really that heartbroken right now?
- 25:38Speaker 4: Yeah, you're dating, you're not in a relationships Vagina.
- 25:43Speaker 6: Yeah, of course she's staying anonymous.
- 25:48Speaker 4: To be to be related to this dude or connected
- 25:50Speaker 4: in any way. And finally, let's meet a twelve year
- 25:53Speaker 4: old in Dallas who is definitely smarter than Sea Bass.
- 25:57Speaker 4: He just actually year old, actually spread on a curve. Yeah,
- 26:03Speaker 4: he just set a new Guinness World record for being
- 26:05Speaker 4: the youngest person to achieve nuclear fusion.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Okay, yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Aiden McMillan is a seventh grader and had been working
- 26:12Speaker 4: on it, as you know, just side project little Pside
- 26:15Speaker 4: gig for four years. So do the math on that one.
- 26:18Speaker 4: When he started and here he is on the local
- 26:20Speaker 4: news talking about his success.
- 26:22Speaker 9: And I love the project, but I also kind of
- 26:23Speaker 9: hated it. It doesn't make me jump higher, it doesn't
- 26:29Speaker 9: make me write faster, it doesn't do anything for me.
- 26:32Speaker 9: But in the grand scheme of things like fusion as
- 26:36Speaker 9: a whole, in my opinion, it's the energy of the future.
- 26:39Speaker 2: When you're hear a kid like this is the kid's
- 26:41Speaker 2: twelve old. So I have two kids, the youngest one
- 26:45Speaker 2: being thirteen. Yeah, if any of them just used in
- 26:48Speaker 2: the grand scheme of things, I'd be impressed. I just
- 26:52Speaker 2: use a like sounding like a.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Foot view something bridge.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Yeah, totally, Like this kid's doing fusion the grand scheme
- 27:02Speaker 2: of things.
- 27:03Speaker 9: I mean, but in the grand scheme of things like
- 27:06Speaker 9: fusion as a whole, in my opinion, it's the energy
- 27:09Speaker 9: of the future. There were some alarm bells with my mom. Yes,
- 27:13Speaker 9: she was like, whoa, take a step back, tell me
- 27:16Speaker 9: exactly what could go wrong, and kind of tearing up
- 27:20Speaker 9: about it because it was like, it's hard to describe.
- 27:23Speaker 9: It's the end of like a long, long journey.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, propos to my theorem.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Yeah that's what's going on with I.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Gina gran we're gonna play that game.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Can you get back through? All right? After the break? Now,
- 27:44Speaker 2: we need somebody to be the person who's going to
- 27:47Speaker 2: try to get back through right now. It's a it's
- 27:49Speaker 2: a couple different things going on here, a couple different
- 27:51Speaker 2: ways to win a prize. One you could be this person.
- 27:54Speaker 2: So call in eight seven seven forty four. What he
- 27:56Speaker 2: will get somebody set up. It'll be that person's job.
- 28:00Speaker 2: We hang up to get back through in the time given. Okay,
- 28:04Speaker 2: so say five minutes. All right, someone's got to get
- 28:07Speaker 2: through in five minutes. Now, everybody else, not this person.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Your job is to try to c block and tie
- 28:15Speaker 2: up the phone lines. We've got ten phone lines to
- 28:18Speaker 2: come into here, so you know you can them out
- 28:21Speaker 2: when everybody just keep calling. Your job is trying to
- 28:23Speaker 2: keep them out. And at the end of the alloted time,
- 28:28Speaker 2: if you're the person who's on the line with us
- 28:30Speaker 2: and the other person hasn't gotten through, you'll win the prize.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah sweet, Yeah, So that someone's winning a prize. Someone
- 28:36Speaker 2: will win a prize, whether it's the person initially trying
- 28:39Speaker 2: to get back through with a person who's just happened
- 28:41Speaker 2: to be on the line at the right time. Yea. Now,
- 28:43Speaker 2: the wrinkle that I'm I'm going to introduce into this
- 28:47Speaker 2: is that I'm going to give everybody a question. So
- 28:49Speaker 2: instead of just random asked questions, it's one question, right,
- 28:54Speaker 2: So I'll ask you you know something something specific, Okay,
- 28:58Speaker 2: all right, and we'll figure out we're gonna we're gonna
- 29:02Speaker 2: ask around the room here, we'll come up with whatever.
- 29:04Speaker 2: That question is the same question for everybody. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 2: So I thought almost like a question of the day
- 29:10Speaker 2: or you know something something like that, and then uh,
- 29:12Speaker 2: and then we can then we can do that game,
- 29:14Speaker 2: giveaway a prize. Eight seven seven forty four, Woodie, Can
- 29:18Speaker 2: you get back through? One of Radio's dumb as games?
- 29:20Speaker 2: Eight seven seven forty four Woody, We're playing next hang
- 29:23Speaker 2: up show? So can you get back through? Let's discuss
- 29:31Speaker 2: the question. So this is the new wrinkle. The way
- 29:34Speaker 2: it works is we get somebody on the line. We've
- 29:38Speaker 2: given them a password, right, so then when they try
- 29:41Speaker 2: to get back through, we can tell the real person
- 29:43Speaker 2: or someone who's just trying to get one over on us,
- 29:47Speaker 2: they have say, five minutes to get back through. If
- 29:51Speaker 2: they can do that, they're gonna win a prize.
- 29:52Speaker 5: Now, everybody else the job's not our contestant.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Everybody else. Your job is to call in eight seven
- 29:59Speaker 2: seven forty four wood and try to keep that person
- 30:02Speaker 2: from being able to get through. Tie off the line,
- 30:05Speaker 2: tie up all ten lines so they can't get through it. Now,
- 30:08Speaker 2: if you were the last person on the line when
- 30:10Speaker 2: the time expires, that we've determined you will be the
- 30:13Speaker 2: winner and you'll get you're gonna get the prize. Yeah, okay,
- 30:16Speaker 2: all right now I decided to ad the wrinkle of
- 30:17Speaker 2: the question to give it like a little bit more structure.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Uh huh. You know. So the question is this, what
- 30:25Speaker 2: is a luxury you can never go back from, like
- 30:28Speaker 2: once you've experienced it. So, like I've said a million times,
- 30:32Speaker 2: once you live in a place where you have laundry
- 30:36Speaker 2: in your apartment, like where you don't have to take
- 30:39Speaker 2: yourself down to a laundry facility or a laundromat somewhere. Yeah, right, exactly,
- 30:44Speaker 2: once you've given up the quarter life, like there's just
- 30:47Speaker 2: there's no going there's there's no going back. That's a
- 30:50Speaker 2: good one.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Yeah, mine is dishwasher, dish You can't live.
- 30:55Speaker 2: You just got your first I was literally.
- 30:57Speaker 4: A pioneer woman for seven.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Years on a washboard. Yeah yeah, so I mean, and
- 31:03Speaker 2: again it's whatever it is for you. There's no wrong
- 31:05Speaker 2: answer here, But like, what is a luxury you can
- 31:08Speaker 2: never come back from? Once you've experienced, you can never
- 31:11Speaker 2: go back.
- 31:11Speaker 5: I thought this would be a wrong answer, but I
- 31:13Speaker 5: would say hot water, because remember I was telling you
- 31:17Speaker 5: I was living in a studio apartment with like two
- 31:19Speaker 5: other guys when we're working in a radio coming up.
- 31:22Speaker 5: Our water heater did not work, so we had hot,
- 31:26Speaker 5: scolding hot water for maybe a minute and a half
- 31:29Speaker 5: minute at most, and then it was freezing cold water.
- 31:32Speaker 5: And I lived like that for probably three years.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Yeah, it was the worst. And and you know me,
- 31:40Speaker 5: I like taking like three showers a day, so hot water,
- 31:44Speaker 5: and I to this day like I have like the
- 31:48Speaker 5: hot I said it to the hottest every single shower
- 31:51Speaker 5: that I take.
- 31:52Speaker 10: Greg uh, Sharing walls, I hated living underneath people inside
- 31:59Speaker 10: by I can't stand hearing somebody else's noise. Can't take him,
- 32:04Speaker 10: So I'll never go back to sharing walls, all right, Sammy.
- 32:08Speaker 12: Parking in the garage, so number one, having a garage,
- 32:11Speaker 12: not just a carport or something like that, and also
- 32:14Speaker 12: not having it as storage, parking in it.
- 32:17Speaker 4: All right, Greg, Yeah, Greg's gonna finish the laundry.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Yeah, having laundry like not having to gather everything, bring
- 32:25Speaker 2: it down thing. Although, man, when you have just a
- 32:29Speaker 2: ton of it, as opposed to spending all day doing it,
- 32:31Speaker 2: it is convenience. It is convenient, like if you get
- 32:34Speaker 2: back from a trip, like the whole family's been on trip,
- 32:36Speaker 2: you know, bringing that down on the laundry and doing
- 32:40Speaker 2: it all at once.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, doing the fluff and fold yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Because otherwise you're spend an all all damn day doing it.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:45Speaker 2: All right, So that's the that's the question you want
- 32:47Speaker 2: to keep that person from from getting back through, and
- 32:50Speaker 2: you're going to be asked that question. So what's a
- 32:52Speaker 2: luxury for you that you can never go never come
- 32:54Speaker 2: back from? Eight seven seven forty four? Now, let's meet
- 32:57Speaker 2: our contestant for this round of can you get back through?

- 33:05Speaker 2: All right? So Daniel ask you the question, what is
- 33:07Speaker 2: a luxury you can never come back from once you've
- 33:10Speaker 2: experienced it?
- 33:11Speaker 5: To be honest, it's gotta be the heater you know
- 33:13Speaker 5: the warrants.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I can't go through the cold sometimes. Did you live
- 33:18Speaker 2: in a place that didn't have a heater?
- 33:21Speaker 13: No?
- 33:22Speaker 2: Just one time it broke and we were just stuck,
- 33:26Speaker 2: all right. Yeah, it's kind of like MENACE's hot water
- 33:28Speaker 2: heater problem. Ye, kind of Yeah, we had a hot
- 33:31Speaker 2: water heater. It just didn't work. It's like you lived
- 33:34Speaker 2: in a place it didn't have a hot water, which is.
- 33:38Speaker 5: The heater ever?
- 33:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, all right, Daniel, Well, you're gonna have
- 33:44Speaker 2: what do you want to set it out? Five minutes?
- 33:46Speaker 2: Is that enough?
- 33:47Speaker 4: That's fair?
- 33:47Speaker 2: Okay, So we're gonna set the clock at five minutes.
- 33:51Speaker 2: You have five minutes to get back through. Now we
- 33:54Speaker 2: we had a a password. Did Morgan don't say what
- 33:57Speaker 2: it is out loud, but did Morgan give you the password?
- 34:01Speaker 5: Yes? She did, she did.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Okay, all right, so he has the password. We have
- 34:07Speaker 2: five minutes on the clock. All right, So Daniel, the
- 34:12Speaker 2: time will the time will start? Good luck when I
- 34:15Speaker 2: hang up? Are you ready?
- 34:17Speaker 5: I'm ready?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Ready?
- 34:18Speaker 2: All right? Everybody else eight seven seven forty four. It's

- 34:39Speaker 2: back from once you've experienced it?
- 34:41Speaker 4: At the age without cell phones?
- 34:44Speaker 2: Man?
- 34:44Speaker 5: Oh yeah, cell phone.
- 34:46Speaker 2: That's a good one. All right, thank you. Let's go
- 34:49Speaker 2: to lie number three? Who is this? Brandon? Hey, Brandon?
- 34:54Speaker 2: What's a luxury you can never come back from once
- 34:56Speaker 2: you've experienced it?
- 34:58Speaker 8: Good?
- 34:59Speaker 9: Chief?
- 35:00Speaker 2: What is it?
- 35:01Speaker 13: Good?
- 35:02Speaker 5: Good?
- 35:02Speaker 2: Good?
- 35:05Speaker 4: Your plastic wrap.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Makes that makes sense? All thanks? Man?
- 35:08Speaker 5: Sweet?
- 35:10Speaker 2: What do you show? Who's this? Kim Kimberly? All right,
- 35:14Speaker 2: So what is a luxury you can never come back
- 35:16Speaker 2: from once you've experienced it?
- 35:19Speaker 1: Oh?
- 35:23Speaker 2: A lot of people avoided it until you know they
- 35:25Speaker 2: tried it and they're like, okay, life rules. What do
- 35:29Speaker 2: you show? Who is this? This is Natalie, Natal, Natalie,
- 35:33Speaker 2: what's a luxury you can never come back from once
- 35:36Speaker 2: you've experienced it? A parking spot designated parking, not having
- 35:43Speaker 2: that's around parking. That's a that's that's a good one.
- 35:47Speaker 2: What do you show? Who is this? Daniel? It's Daniel, Daniel, Daniel.
- 35:56Speaker 5: It sounds it does sound like it does he sounds happy?
- 35:59Speaker 2: Daniel right now, Daniel, what is the password? Yeah, like
- 36:12Speaker 2: like your you tube?
- 36:13Speaker 11: Wow?
- 36:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy, Daniel. Everybody, I'm not sure if that's
- 36:22Speaker 2: I mean, it's great news for Daniel. I'm not sure
- 36:24Speaker 2: that's great news for us. That means that's terrible news
- 36:27Speaker 2: from because the line, the lines have been smoking.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Can we give another? Can we give another prize?
- 36:32Speaker 2: We can get some we can get some other answers. Yeah,
- 36:35Speaker 2: that was crazy.
- 36:36Speaker 4: I mean, the lines are crazy.
- 36:37Speaker 2: You did it in two minutes. Change the game? Can
- 36:39Speaker 2: you get back through twice? Yeah?
- 36:43Speaker 5: The person through?
- 36:44Speaker 2: All right, Daniel? Hang on one second? Okay, wow here Daniel.
- 36:48Speaker 5: Hold actually know what four phones?
- 36:50Speaker 2: Hold on? Hold on, hold on? Everybody waits wait now,
- 36:54Speaker 2: all right, here's what we're going to do. All right,
- 36:58Speaker 2: the lines are still going Crazydaniel. I'm gonna hang up
- 37:00Speaker 2: on you again. You're gonna get a prize, all right, Okay,
- 37:03Speaker 2: we're gonna We're gonna set you up. Don't don't worry
- 37:05Speaker 2: about it, just for funzie, because you're so good at this.
- 37:08Speaker 2: We're gonna see if you can do it again. You
- 37:11Speaker 2: people all the time, like every time you guys do
- 37:13Speaker 2: a contest. I can never get through, and then you
- 37:16Speaker 2: hear other people who just for whatever reason, man, they're like,
- 37:19Speaker 2: oh yeah, so I win all the time, like.
- 37:23Speaker 5: People are just you know, born lucky like that.
- 37:26Speaker 2: All right, so Daniel again, Uh, Morgan's gonna set you
- 37:29Speaker 2: up with a different password. Get the password whatever Morgan wants. Sammy,
- 37:33Speaker 2: just just have Morgan come up with something. And uh,
- 37:36Speaker 2: and Daniel, I'm gonna put you on hold while she
- 37:40Speaker 2: gives you the password. All right, So Morgan give give
- 37:43Speaker 2: Daniel the password. Same question, though, what's a luxury you
- 37:47Speaker 2: can never come back from once you've experienced it two minutes?
- 37:49Speaker 4: Yeah, Daniel, I don't get it.
- 37:52Speaker 2: That's pretty Oh yeah it wasn't.
- 37:53Speaker 5: Damn damn Daniel advance.
- 38:00Speaker 2: That's right. Wow, talk about something I haven't thought about
- 38:04Speaker 2: in a decade. And I remember the phrase, I remember
- 38:08Speaker 2: the contact. Yeah, damn Daniel. All right, Morgan, did you
- 38:10Speaker 2: give him his password?
- 38:12Speaker 5: It hung up on him, so oh well I hung up.
- 38:16Speaker 12: Yeah, but I did write down his phone number, so
- 38:19Speaker 12: if he calls back, we can cross.
- 38:20Speaker 5: Well right here, how about that, let's take the stupid
- 38:24Speaker 5: break because Sammy's about to hold up her stupid sign.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I see her. She's twitching. Yeah, all right, So we'll
- 38:29Speaker 2: take the break, we'll come back with another round. We'll
- 38:31Speaker 2: get a hold of Daniel, yes, okay, and then we'll
- 38:34Speaker 2: set him up in the pass. We'll do the same thing,
- 38:36Speaker 2: same question. What's a luxury you can never come back
- 38:38Speaker 2: from once you've experienced it? Forty four?
- 38:42Speaker 6: What more?
- 38:42Speaker 2: What he showed next? They show? All right, well, I
- 38:53Speaker 2: think we're set up and we're ready to go. Okay,
- 38:56Speaker 2: go round number two, get back through eight seven seven
- 39:02Speaker 2: eight seven seven forty four? What again? This is your
- 39:05Speaker 2: chance to win a prize. We got Daniel back. He
- 39:11Speaker 2: he did it in record time. I think that's the quickest.
- 39:13Speaker 5: That's the quickest has ever been done.
- 39:15Speaker 2: So everybody else who's listening right now, call in eight
- 39:20Speaker 2: seven seven forty four? What the question is? Still the
- 39:23Speaker 2: same question? What is the luxury that you can never
- 39:26Speaker 2: go back once you've experienced it?
- 39:29Speaker 5: So?
- 39:30Speaker 11: Uh?
- 39:30Speaker 2: You know, Sam, you mentioned having a garage as opposed
- 39:33Speaker 2: like a carboard some persons designated parking space. Yeah, mine
- 39:40Speaker 2: mine was having laundry inside of you know, your living space.
- 39:43Speaker 2: You don't have to take your laundry out of your
- 39:45Speaker 2: own place to go get the laundry done. Yeah, things
- 39:49Speaker 2: things like that. Oh dude, I would I would agree
- 39:51Speaker 2: with this one. A bidet toilet like a butt washing toilet.
- 39:54Speaker 2: See to experience that. There's nothing else like it. By
- 39:57Speaker 2: the way, Greg, I did see Costco sells one that
- 40:01Speaker 2: you don't need to have plugged in. It's like, uh,
- 40:04Speaker 2: it's you have to do batteries and stuff like that,
- 40:06Speaker 2: but probably got to charge it.
- 40:09Speaker 5: I did see that in the aisle, but I didn't
- 40:10Speaker 5: take a closer look.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's for people. You know,
- 40:13Speaker 2: you're in an apartment. You're not gonna have electrician coming
- 40:15Speaker 2: and put an outlet.
- 40:16Speaker 5: In that that doesn't exist.
- 40:18Speaker 2: You're not gonna go through all that.
- 40:19Speaker 5: I saw the aisle. They have like three different ones, right, I.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Just saw the one. It was one of these like
- 40:24Speaker 2: Instagram accounts and this out so it's all in one piece,
- 40:28Speaker 2: like the toilet slasheta.
- 40:30Speaker 5: It's a seat top. You take your seat off it,
- 40:34Speaker 5: you put this new bidat seat on. You hook it up.
- 40:37Speaker 5: You have to hook up to the water supply. That's easy.
- 40:40Speaker 5: That's super easy, right unless you.
- 40:42Speaker 2: And then and then uh, and then it's it's got
- 40:45Speaker 2: the power through.
- 40:46Speaker 4: The batteries and Greg's delightful.
- 40:49Speaker 2: It's so great washing, but washing toilet seat is fantastic.
- 40:53Speaker 2: All right, So, uh we have we have Daniel and
- 40:56Speaker 2: now everybody else. Your job is gonna be to keep
- 40:58Speaker 2: Daniel from getting through it again.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Yeah, come on, guys.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Make sure this is uh, this is him. Hold on here, Daniel,
- 41:05Speaker 2: you there? Yeah, all right, buddy, did did Morgan give
- 41:09Speaker 2: you another password?
- 41:11Speaker 5: Yes?
- 41:12Speaker 2: Sir, Okay, hang on one second. I have no idea what
- 41:14Speaker 2: it is, Sammy, So you're just gonna have to put
- 41:16Speaker 2: it on a sign. And okay, you love signs.
- 41:18Speaker 4: I do. I'm writing down right now, probably for you.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Put it on a sign so we know what's going
- 41:24Speaker 2: on here. Everybody else eight seven seven forty four? What
- 41:26Speaker 2: do you call in with your answer? What's a luxury
- 41:28Speaker 2: you can ever go back from once you've experienced it.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Your job is to keep Daniel from getting back through.
- 41:33Speaker 2: And if we get to the end of the five
- 41:35Speaker 2: minutes and you're the person who's on the line, you
- 41:38Speaker 2: will be the winner of the prize. Sweet. All right,
- 41:41Speaker 2: let's see, here we go. I'm gonna I'm gonna hang
- 41:46Speaker 2: up on you, Daniel. Here we go, all right, time
- 41:48Speaker 2: begins right now. All right, we go back to the phones,
- 41:55Speaker 2: and what do you show? Who is this? You have
- 42:03Speaker 2: that name, Gina? What is a luxury you can never
- 42:05Speaker 2: go back from once you've experienced it? Okay?
- 42:08Speaker 4: I know I'm gonna sound like you can't play stop,
- 42:10Speaker 4: but I'm sure Greg can relate to this business class.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Flying business class. I cannot relate to that because he
- 42:19Speaker 2: would refuse to pay for it.
- 42:20Speaker 10: Yeah, exactly, that's that's too rich for his blood. I
- 42:23Speaker 10: flew first class once and it was because I was
- 42:25Speaker 10: on standby.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I get it. Once you experienced that, man, it's it's
- 42:28Speaker 2: tough to come back from. Let's see what do you show?
- 42:31Speaker 2: Who is this?
- 42:33Speaker 5: Natalie again?
- 42:36Speaker 2: So we already heard from Natalie?
- 42:37Speaker 5: Ye?
- 42:38Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, what do you show? Who's this?
- 42:42Speaker 13: Hello?
- 42:43Speaker 5: Walter?
- 42:44Speaker 2: Hi, Walter? What's a luxury you can never come back
- 42:46Speaker 2: from once you've experienced it?
- 42:48Speaker 13: Will need.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Something about being a fact? I'm sweating at.
- 42:59Speaker 2: I'm not sure what the hell is going on there.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Leave the comedy to the expert and get off the
- 43:04Speaker 2: speaker phone from across the room, what do you show?
- 43:06Speaker 5: Who's this?
- 43:10Speaker 6: Hey?
- 43:11Speaker 2: Vanessa? So, what's a luxury that you can never come
- 43:13Speaker 2: back from once you've experienced it.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Air conditioning, that's the one good one.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that is that is true? What do you show?
- 43:23Speaker 2: Who is this?
- 43:26Speaker 1: Robbie?
- 43:28Speaker 2: Robbie, what's a luxury that you can never come back
- 43:30Speaker 2: from once you've experienced it?
- 43:33Speaker 5: The swimming pool in my own backyard?
- 43:35Speaker 2: Anybody else there?
- 43:37Speaker 1: You go?
- 43:38Speaker 2: All right, Robbie, thank you for the call. What do
- 43:40Speaker 2: you show? Who's this?
- 43:42Speaker 5: Hey?
- 43:43Speaker 2: This is Scotland, Scotland. What's a luxury you can never
- 43:47Speaker 2: come back from once you've experienced it?
- 43:50Speaker 13: Oh?
- 43:50Speaker 2: Man, having my own car, you know, yeah, that is true,
- 43:56Speaker 2: my first car. Man, I was so I was taking
- 43:58Speaker 2: trains and buses and everything else. It's life, right, buses
- 44:02Speaker 2: and whatever. Man, Yeah, thanks man, appreciate it. What do
- 44:06Speaker 2: you show?
- 44:06Speaker 5: Who is this? R?
- 44:12Speaker 11: Robert?
- 44:12Speaker 2: I see? I guess it is pretty good on the pole,
- 44:15Speaker 2: It is possible. Who's this? Hello? Yep? Hello? Really, Gonna'm
- 44:22Speaker 2: gonna gonna move on, all right? What a show? Who's this? Frank?
- 44:28Speaker 2: What's a luxury you can never come back from once
- 44:29Speaker 2: you've experienced it? Cure and coffee machine? Oh yeah, I think.
- 44:37Speaker 5: I think my wife would agree with that one. She
- 44:38Speaker 5: loves that stupid machine show.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Who is this?
- 44:43Speaker 2: Hello?
- 44:43Speaker 8: I'm Jackie.

- 45:04Speaker 2: is this Michael? Hey, Mike Michael? What's a luxury you
- 45:09Speaker 2: can never come back from once you've experienced it? Automatic transmissions?
- 45:14Speaker 4: Oh that's a good Yeah, that's true.
- 45:18Speaker 5: Do you live in a place ass hill?
- 45:19Speaker 2: Yeah? I have to park on that hill. Even so,
- 45:21Speaker 2: I think just in general, like, uh, you know, driving manual? Why,
- 45:26Speaker 2: like just for everyday driving. I understand if you're trying
- 45:28Speaker 2: to do like, you know, some kind of sort of Yeah,
- 45:31Speaker 2: even I'm off board with it now. Yeah, but what
- 45:34Speaker 2: do you show? Who's this? Hey, Susie? So, what's a
- 45:38Speaker 2: luxury you can never come back from once you've experienced it?
- 45:42Speaker 3: I cannot watch shows that I have to wait a week.
- 45:45Speaker 6: Oh that's a good.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Show, I know, just release of Yeah, that's a that's
- 45:51Speaker 2: a good one. I like that one. You guys are
- 45:53Speaker 2: doing a great job of keeping Daniel from get back through.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Who is this from? Hey, ge Genie? What is a
- 46:02Speaker 2: luxury that you can never come back from a munch
- 46:04Speaker 2: of experienced it.
- 46:06Speaker 4: Heated car seat.
- 46:08Speaker 2: I feel like they're like I'm peeing or something.
- 46:10Speaker 4: I'm getting sick.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I like the heated steering wheel.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Let's go to line number five. Who's this is? Jared? Jared?
- 46:20Speaker 2: What's a luxury you can't come back for? You can't
- 46:22Speaker 2: come back from munch of experienced it? Following my car
- 46:26Speaker 2: because I'm a tall guy, so you know, have a
- 46:29Speaker 2: luxury car.
- 46:30Speaker 5: Oh, luxury car like heated steering wheels?
- 46:34Speaker 2: What a show? Who's this?
- 46:37Speaker 11: Michael?
- 46:38Speaker 2: Michael? What's a luxury you can't come back from a
- 46:40Speaker 2: munch of experienced it? Okay, so I'm not quite like
- 46:48Speaker 2: a butt watching toilet seed, but yeah, the wife still
- 46:50Speaker 2: got clean. But what a show? Five minutes is up?
- 46:53Speaker 2: Who's this?
- 46:54Speaker 13: What?
- 46:55Speaker 7: Daniel?
- 46:58Speaker 5: Drop it out?
- 47:00Speaker 2: I'm not joking. Hold on, hold on, hold the sign up, Sammy,
- 47:05Speaker 2: remind me of the something you're got? What? What? What's
- 47:09Speaker 2: the password? Daniel?
- 47:11Speaker 3: Something I don't want?
- 47:12Speaker 5: Which is hem Royde.
- 47:17Speaker 2: It was a lucky guy. I did pick it up
- 47:18Speaker 2: in five minutes. In one second, damn Daniel. Sorry, but
- 47:24Speaker 2: I already picked up the line, so I was gonna
- 47:26Speaker 2: make that the last person. Daniel cut through. He already
- 47:31Speaker 2: got a prize. Yeah, no, he already got a prize.
- 47:34Speaker 2: All right, Daniel, hang on one second, man, thank you
- 47:36Speaker 2: for for playing along. I'm just gonna go to the
- 47:39Speaker 2: very next call. Uh, so we can give somebody else something.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Who is this? Hello? Hello, this is you? Okay. I
- 47:49Speaker 2: think that's my sign not giving anybody else. You heard it?
- 47:54Speaker 2: I heard it? All right, Well, thank you everybody. Uh yeah,

- 48:01Speaker 2: adding the question?
- 48:02Speaker 4: I like it cool answers.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Like somebody said, having your own place, like, yeah, talking
- 48:07Speaker 2: roommates here recently, so like having roommates can be a
- 48:10Speaker 2: nice way to save money, but really hard to go
- 48:12Speaker 2: back once you've had a space all to yourself. I
- 48:14Speaker 2: agree with that. Somebody else a dishwasher, yep, yeah, keeping
- 48:18Speaker 2: your house at a temperature that's comfortable sixty eight. Yeah.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Hiring movers, Oh, that's another good yea God, if you
- 48:25Speaker 2: want to save your body too, that's a good one.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Very little commute, being able to walk to work or
- 48:31Speaker 2: working remotely. Somebody said, a housekeeper once twice a month
- 48:36Speaker 2: doesn't matter. Remember, money is a tool that can buy
- 48:39Speaker 2: back time. I agree with you.
- 48:41Speaker 5: Had a good way to put it.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Yeah, always wanted that. A good bed and a good pillow.
- 48:46Speaker 2: How about a king sized mattress.
- 48:47Speaker 4: That's a one one.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Yeah, we could do it, queen if we have to.
- 48:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's not comfortable, right.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Not having a look at prices while buying groceries. Oh,
- 48:57Speaker 2: somebody said this, priends Out'm not swimming in money, but
- 48:59Speaker 2: I don't have to think about every price tag. Okay, uh. Yeah,
- 49:04Speaker 2: having a washer and dry in the house, no laundry match,
- 49:06Speaker 2: an electric toothbrush that's pretty good.
- 49:09Speaker 5: Decent.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Noise canceling headphones for air travel, sure, okay, yeah, somebody
- 49:14Speaker 2: else did first class on flights over eight hours. Wow,
- 49:17Speaker 2: yeah that only Oh, here we go. Daily mention of Japan.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Someone said, living in a high trust society like Japan
- 49:25Speaker 2: noise or some parts of Europe. If I leave something
- 49:28Speaker 2: important somewhere, it'll still be there. What the woody show?
- 49:38Speaker 2: And let's learn Okay, let's be uh, let's be educated.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Let's learn a menace. Word of the day. We got
- 49:49Speaker 2: a word of the day calendar. Little Buddy's got about
- 49:51Speaker 2: a two hundred word vocabulary. Yeah, well, over the years,
- 49:56Speaker 2: he's added a couple goods, like you're a chimpanzee. He
- 50:03Speaker 2: sounded a couple. I don't disagree. Menace word of the
- 50:06Speaker 2: day calendar. It's a word, it's the pronunciation guide. It's
- 50:10Speaker 2: got the definitions on there and then also used in
- 50:13Speaker 2: a sentence. All right, now will he retain this? I guess, uh,
- 50:17Speaker 2: we'll find out. But the time for the menace word
- 50:22Speaker 2: of the day the page. Greg has got that for
- 50:27Speaker 2: you if you want to grab that from him. All right,
- 50:30Speaker 2: I'll spell it for everybody. R e n d e
- 50:33Speaker 2: z v o U s r e n d e
- 50:38Speaker 2: z v o u s ren rendeva divo.
- 50:53Speaker 5: Used his brain.
- 50:54Speaker 2: I say, rendiva sounds like it'd be for like, you know,
- 50:56Speaker 2: like hair.
- 50:57Speaker 5: Yeah, that do not look how rendezvous would be spelled
- 51:02Speaker 5: at all.
- 51:03Speaker 2: But what did you use? You use your own words
- 51:05Speaker 2: to think?
- 51:06Speaker 5: Oh, that sounds kind of like rendezvou.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, miss word of today rendezvous job. Yeah. I
- 51:14Speaker 2: love a good rendezvous. All right, So give us a definition.
- 51:19Speaker 5: Number one an agreement between two or more persons to
- 51:23Speaker 5: meet at a certain time and place.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Okay, nice, all right.
- 51:27Speaker 5: Number two a place designated for a meeting or assembly,
- 51:32Speaker 5: especially of troops or ships. Okay, assembling, but yeah, okay.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Sure whatever, I'm still very impressed. Okay, we've we've been
- 51:41Speaker 2: a part of these other word of the.
- 51:43Speaker 5: Days surprised designated there.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, what's what's the word again?
- 51:50Speaker 5: It's the new liquid death.
- 51:52Speaker 2: What's the word rendezvous? Okay?
- 51:56Speaker 5: Now use in a sentence here, Okay, on this weekend.
- 52:00Speaker 5: On his weekends, Menace will frequently rendezvous at cumnal promenades
- 52:08Speaker 5: with his air uh ear whistle while uh more bro Okay,
- 52:22Speaker 5: tyler a K D J sloppy attendance.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Titans E T O N S. See. I think the
- 52:32Speaker 2: I think that the sentences are DJ sloppy titans.
- 52:38Speaker 6: I don't even know what it is.
- 52:39Speaker 2: I mean titans.
- 52:41Speaker 5: Is that really?
- 52:42Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 52:44Speaker 2: I think I think that the sentences are unnecessarily complicated.
- 52:50Speaker 4: But like it's while paramour.
- 52:53Speaker 2: But paramore, it's like a param ak J.
- 53:03Speaker 5: Then they confirm over the finer points of accumulating uh.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Abstract A dubs it friple like we'll we'll come we'll
- 53:20Speaker 2: come back.
- 53:21Speaker 5: To that as a lego set in authentic authentic athletic
- 53:27Speaker 5: investments whatever. Okay, Well, what's it from?
- 53:30Speaker 2: Minis?
- 53:31Speaker 5: That would be from Town and Country Magazine, February twenty is.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Wow, all right, I mean that that sentence is atrocious.
- 53:39Speaker 2: But I think that is a completely unfair Yeah, that
- 53:42Speaker 2: is a completely unfair sentence to use the.
- 53:46Speaker 5: Age of Greg can just read it perfectly?
- 53:48Speaker 2: Okay, Now, well before before Greg does that, let's let's
- 53:51Speaker 2: let's focus on this other word here word. Yeah, all right,
- 53:54Speaker 2: so the word is spelled A D O L E
- 53:59Speaker 2: S C E N T. Okay, did do you have
- 54:03Speaker 2: the word there? Okay?
- 54:04Speaker 1: What?
- 54:05Speaker 2: Okay? All right?
- 54:09Speaker 5: Yeah, he just I'm just trying to, like, you know,
- 54:12Speaker 5: worry about the next word after the word I'm reading.
- 54:15Speaker 6: Can someone explain the titons joke?
- 54:19Speaker 2: You know what tits are? The grand tetons of Wyoming.
- 54:23Speaker 4: That is it is boobiesj.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah, he hangs up a menace on this Weekend's menace
- 54:33Speaker 2: will frequent. Rendez will frequently rendezvous communal promenades with his
- 54:37Speaker 2: erstwhile paramore tyler A K d J sloppy titons, wherein
- 54:42Speaker 2: they con over the fire points of accumulating adolescent trifles
- 54:47Speaker 2: such as lego sets and athletic vestments.
- 54:50Speaker 5: Talk about normal set.
- 54:51Speaker 10: You talk about accumulating dumb stock jerseys and lego sets.
- 54:56Speaker 5: I mean I did get a new lego set.
- 55:01Speaker 3: About it.
- 55:01Speaker 5: It's from the F one movie that still still waiting
- 55:04Speaker 5: on the the F one Academy one.
- 55:08Speaker 2: They haven't said it to me yet. There's the menace
- 55:11Speaker 2: word of the day. What about that? Yeah, I feel
- 55:14Speaker 2: like rendezvous is a word that he would use.
- 55:16Speaker 5: Rendezvous. It's rendezvous and do what they have dinner?
- 55:21Speaker 1: Maybe? Okay?
- 55:21Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 55:22Speaker 2: Nice? Now, how do you say it? Cussin, cursing whatever? Swearing? Swearing?
- 55:35Speaker 2: A new poll from the University of Michigan shows that
- 55:39Speaker 2: parents are cool with kids swearing. Oh really, all right,
- 55:45Speaker 2: talk to more than sixteen hundred. Well, our parents are
- 55:48Speaker 2: of a different era, right, I mean my my mom
- 55:53Speaker 2: is more like Greg's parents. Like where it sucks sucks
- 55:56Speaker 2: was a swear? Swear idiot?
- 56:00Speaker 11: It was?
- 56:01Speaker 2: Yeah, now, like it was after I was a kid,
- 56:04Speaker 2: but before people my age were adults. There was a
- 56:06Speaker 2: window there where the words stupid kind of fell onto that.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Like you couldn't use the word stud You can't help
- 56:11Speaker 2: people stupid. Yess, you can't.
- 56:13Speaker 4: No, but not not when I grew up.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Really, no, absolutely, it was worse. It was called retard.
- 56:20Speaker 2: I think every that was such a big everything everything
- 56:24Speaker 2: was gay and retarded.
- 56:27Speaker 3: Can we kind of point to a period maybe like
- 56:29Speaker 3: nineteen late eighties through early two thousands where everything was
- 56:33Speaker 3: on the table gay retard, the F word, the gay
- 56:38Speaker 3: F word was all over the place, which the real
- 56:41Speaker 3: fag thank you, oh by the way, by the way.
- 56:44Speaker 5: And racial slurs too, all over the TV.
- 56:47Speaker 3: It was probably aren't illegal for us to say, it's
- 56:48Speaker 3: just not a good idea for our careers like that
- 56:51Speaker 3: where those things were all on the board, but like
- 56:53Speaker 3: prior to nineteen eighty five and then after twenty ten
- 56:56Speaker 3: those have been off the board.
- 56:57Speaker 12: I think it depends on the age though, Like junior
- 56:59Speaker 12: high those were all on the board. But when I
- 57:01Speaker 12: was little stupid, wasn't one you could say okay.
- 57:03Speaker 2: So again, talking to sixteen hundred parents of kids between
- 57:06Speaker 2: the ages of six and seventeen, fifty three percent are
- 57:09Speaker 2: okay if their kids swears. Now it's important to say,
- 57:13Speaker 2: like the parents don't want their kids swearing twenty four
- 57:15Speaker 2: to seven, no reason, kind of stuff like in context
- 57:19Speaker 2: and appropriately, like not just saying it for the sake
- 57:22Speaker 2: of saying, like, yeah, appropriately, it's good depending on the situation, right,
- 57:25Speaker 2: where would you fit in on this, Like like you
- 57:28Speaker 2: wouldn't let you don't let your daughter swear? Do you?
- 57:31Speaker 14: Uh?
- 57:32Speaker 2: I see, I guess, I guess it depends on the situation.
- 57:35Speaker 2: Like if I heard that she was swearing, I'd be like,
- 57:38Speaker 2: why are you knarkin her out? Like leave her alone?
- 57:42Speaker 2: The fat Like I know that these kids. I've heard
- 57:44Speaker 2: these kids when they interact with each other. Yeah, like
- 57:46Speaker 2: a few Yeah, it's like that's brother and sister stuff. Right,
- 57:51Speaker 2: she's thirteen, he's sixteen.
- 57:52Speaker 5: Like whatever, they're doing what they're supposed to be.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Now, when my son he starts to feel himself a
- 57:58Speaker 2: little bit being sixteen, and he's having an argument with
- 58:02Speaker 2: uh my wife and I about whatever it is, he goes, well,
- 58:05Speaker 2: he's effing you know whatever, idiots. I'm like, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 58:10Speaker 2: Like it's one thing if we're joking around about something like,
- 58:13Speaker 2: I won't mind it as much. It's when he's using
- 58:16Speaker 2: it in that kind of context where and it's directed
- 58:19Speaker 2: not at us saying you know, saying it like about
- 58:22Speaker 2: us or something.
- 58:23Speaker 5: You know, yeah, right, you're not idiots, right, right, But
- 58:29Speaker 5: he is getting a.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Lot if I say, hey, I need you to blow up.
- 58:31Speaker 2: I don't give an ish like I picked that ish up,
- 58:35Speaker 2: Like no, no, no, no, you're not having a conversation
- 58:37Speaker 2: with me.
- 58:38Speaker 5: Yeah, Broy Yeah. Tom Segura, the comedian, I don't know
- 58:42Speaker 5: if this is real or not, but he always talks
- 58:45Speaker 5: about he has little kids and how they speak. Oh yeah,
- 58:48Speaker 5: it is why. I believe, Yeah, I believe. Yeah.
- 58:50Speaker 2: It's A researcher say that the recent shift and allowance
- 58:53Speaker 2: of swear words points to a gray area among language norms,
- 58:57Speaker 2: with parents trying to balance rules and social pressure, or
- 59:00Speaker 2: they try to guide their kids behavior without overreacting. I
- 59:03Speaker 2: guess yeah, I mean I'm not offended by like some
- 59:07Speaker 2: people just like grown adults can't hear certain words. It's
- 59:11Speaker 2: and that to me is so I don't know, childish, Yeah,
- 59:15Speaker 2: so soft and extra like people they're one step away
- 59:19Speaker 2: from shrieking, like like there's nobody around who can't hear
- 59:23Speaker 2: that word. The fact that you just reacted that way
- 59:25Speaker 2: is like unappealing. Yeah, Vagina, I think the people who
- 59:31Speaker 2: you over use it as unappealing. And we've talked about
- 59:33Speaker 2: this before about how it just shows a lower class
- 59:35Speaker 2: of character. What are you with that. What do you
- 59:38Speaker 2: think about Gary Vaynerchuk, Gary V. He's had this a
- 59:42Speaker 2: number of times where people say, Gary, you have a
- 59:44Speaker 2: lot of great things to say, but like, why do
- 59:46Speaker 2: you have to swell? Thinks that's just the way I talk. Yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 2: And he's He's like, I'm not focused on that, Like
- 59:52Speaker 2: the fact that you're focused on that, not about the
- 59:53Speaker 2: greater message of what I'm saying.
- 59:55Speaker 4: Don't get distracted.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Like, yeah, like that to me says more about you
- 59:58Speaker 2: than it says about me. About be distracting.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: How about if you're a communicator, craft your message in
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: such a way that it's appealing to the broadest audience
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: as possible.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Audience.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: I just don't think.
- 1:00:09Speaker 10: Yeah, I think that's an excuse. That's like saying I
- 1:00:13Speaker 10: can't control what comes out of my mouth. But why
- 1:00:16Speaker 10: what's why? Why control it?
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: I mean, like for what for what you just said?
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: It's not when that you don't it's not that a
- 1:00:24Speaker 10: big deal when a kid swears, But when it's every
- 1:00:26Speaker 10: other word just for the sake of swearing.
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: It's lazy, it's crunchy.
- 1:00:29Speaker 10: Yeah, it's like the comedians that do it, it's like, Okay,
- 1:00:32Speaker 10: we get it. You say f every other word. It
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: makes it less funny.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Yes, I believe. I believe in time and place right right.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: And that's obviously subjective because you could say, oh, well
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: you're in a work environment. Well, I think it depends
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: on the work environment. Like if I'm a doctor. If
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I'm a doctor, right, you know, like maybe not, but
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: if I'm a construction, different job. Off the air, that's
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: the way I talk. That's an excuse, but that you
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: control how you talk.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like menacing. I. Oh you always eat with
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: your mouth open, that's the way you know. They're every everyone,
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: even myself and Greg have things we can improve in
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: our life. You're just not self aware, Like that's what
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: we're saying. People so much are not self aware.
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: Yeah, well I was the same with your guys eating
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: like you guys. But I'm just like not gonna be like,
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: oh look.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I can hear you eat like tangers say. It's more
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: likely to depend on the situation. Younger kids six to
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: twelve likely most of the time not okay, half say
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: their their child never swears, third say their kid rarely. Does.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: A quarter admit their child swears occasionally or frequently.
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: So what about I wonder if they're the kind of
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: parents like and like you guys might be witty, like
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: you'll swear in front of your kids, so it's not
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: like they've never heard you swear, but like they need
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: to cool it. You know, they can't mimic you when
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: they're talking again.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: It's it's it's all about the uh, it's about the situation,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: like where it's being used. There's time and place. So yeah, okay,
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: I understand, Like I remember man medicine. I have the
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: same story pretty much about getting in trouble when we
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: were really little, and we use it at school now.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: My kids, even though they're around my wife and I
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: who aren't a pet about language, we use language or whatever. Uh,
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: they have never gotten in trouble for using language anywhere
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: they're not supposed to be sprissive.
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: They're smart enough, Like.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: I'm proud of that. Yeah, you know, because they at
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: least know better. And that's what you've always said, like, hey,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: because you can't be talking like you're around your grandma
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: like uh, time and place like now it depends like
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: my dad, my dad, my stepmom a little loose, a
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: little bit looser with that kind of good around my
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: mom or my stepdad.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: Oh my god, like noah, yeah, no, no, no, no,
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: no yeah right or at school.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: No, even when our kid was little, like four or
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: five years old, we'd say something like, remember that's a
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: homeword or that's a home joke. It's like, don't go
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: saying that. It's a lot of does he no, he
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: is a little angel like with.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: His kids, with his other kids friends.
- 1:03:07Speaker 13: He does.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: But like if I say, he.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: Looks at me like exactly like I'm the devil. I'm like,
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: I'm a damn in my own.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I've said that to my kids since they were little.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: I said, yeah, those are that's mommy and daddy words. Yeah,
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: you know, like I don't. I don't need permission. I
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: know the difference of when and where to say it.
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: Kindergarten is when I got in trouble and then first
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: grade like on the playground, like people were swearing like
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: crazy in first grade.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: So are you okay? And you can you can guess
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: like it's not just a black and white yes or no.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: There's a lot of gray area there. But in general,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: would you say that you're okay with language? Just in general?
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Because they are the people are like you know, I
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: like it when you, well, comedians could be funny without swearing,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Like I hate when grown adults say stuff like that,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: or when grown among other adults say well, f that
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: or you know, I don't give an s yeah, like dude, like,
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: oh my god, we're you're with other adults either either
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: either say the word or don't say it at all,
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: like don't say word. Yeah, find something else to say
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: as opposed to S word to another adult.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: But I have to admit, like this is on the radio. Yeah,
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: but if we're if we're not on the radio and
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: somebody and adults like I don't know, man, that's bull crap.
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: I like that's the right.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, eight seven seven forty four. I get
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: some funny clips. Let me take a break and I'll
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: come back. Got some funny clips with little kids swearing.

- 1:05:49Speaker 2: going to the Woodieshow dot com. School Jeff ge and
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: with Jeff Garcia out of town this week dumbass Tiler
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: with the Locale Sports.
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: Well, remember how I said that the Lakers couldn't sulk
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: over their loss on Monday because they had another game
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: against the Spurs right after. Yeah, well they didn't show
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: up for that one either.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Oh Boss is still he's honey for Pictor and he
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: throws it.
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: Off the back. Luca didn't play last night because he
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: still has the calf issue. Lebron didn't play last night
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: because he's an old ass man. And the Lakers got
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: killed by the Spurs one thirty six to one oh eight.
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: They'll suit up again and faced Cooper Flag and the
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: Mavericks tomorrow. Did the Clippers fair any better?
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: No, they did not.
- 1:06:28Speaker 14: Durant al Jones, there's the help, there's the shot, and
- 1:06:31Speaker 14: there's twenty point tonight for Kevin Durant. And there is
- 1:06:34Speaker 14: twenty points for Kevin Durant with a one thousandth time
- 1:06:38Speaker 14: in his career.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Typical Clippers on the wrong side of history again.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: They felt to the Rockets one of two ninety five,
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: and for added torture, they stay in Houston and faced
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: the Rockets again tonight with tip off at five over.
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: In the Olympics, the women of Team USA destroyed Team
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: Canada and hockey yesterday five to nothing, and in the
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: process became the first team to ever shut out Canada
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: in an Olympic hockey game. The US also earned three
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: more medals early this morning, including a Golden Women's for
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: style skiing. So in an updated metal count for the standings,
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: Norway is still in first with thirteen, Italy is and
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: second with eleven, and the US is now in third
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: with ten. Four more medals are up for grabs later
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: today in men's speed skating, women's louse free dance, figure skating,
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: and men's louge checking. In on football, Rams right tackle
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: Rob Havenstein announced his retirement from the league yesterday. He
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: played in one hundred and forty eight total regular season
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: games and started every single one of them. He was
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: also drafted in twenty fifteen, which means that he's the
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: last member of the Rams team that started in Saint
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: Louis before moving to La Ingrats on a great career, Rob.
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: And in baseball, the Angels are in Tempe today with
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: pitchers and catchers reporting for spring training, not that anyone
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: cares because they suck the Dodgers. Meanwhile, they report to
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: camp on Friday. I'm dumbass, Tyler, and that's your so
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: col sports What Tom.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: All right, Thank you very much. Tyler, welcome back, am
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: I look cuting guttaly they are very mean spirited. Way back,
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: everybody show all right. Before the break, we were talking
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: about this new research that came out to found that
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: parents are way more cool these days than ever when
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: it comes to kids and their language, kids swearing, whether
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: it's their own kids are hearing now, hearing hearing a
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: little kid say a word they're not quite supposed to
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: is always funny. Like, man, my wife and I my
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: son was really little. We're talking about like three four
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: whatever he was. We were pulling into the garage, and
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: you know how sometimes you have to like show me
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: the car a little bit to make sure there's room,
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: you know, open the door. Yeah yeah, So like but
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: you don't want to hit the wall. You don't want
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: to hit the other So my my son goes, don't
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: hit the effing wall. Is because I think I might
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: have said that to my wife, like, yo, watch the
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: fing wall, and man, we're like, we're like exploding because
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: we were trying not to laugh. So this is so
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: I told you had some clips of kids cursing. Is
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: this when they send them into the bathroom and say
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: you can swear are so fun.
- 1:09:00Speaker 11: Do have that.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: But we'll start with this one. This is a little
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: kid and he's just listing all the curse words that
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: he knows. You go, crap, shut up.
- 1:09:10Speaker 15: But butthole butt, crack butt, noose butt based butt head but.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: But teeth, but but and strong, all the butts, but
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: teeth and then and then the S word. Yeah, so
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: the it was a bad word bathroom trend.
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: So what you know parents were doing for content for
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: social media is they would tell the kid like, all right,
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna put you in the bathroom here and when
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: I closed the door, you can say as many curse
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: words as you know or you want. You can't do
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: it outside of this room, but while you're in this
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: room and then you I'll be outside. You let me
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: know when you're done. But they left their phone in there,
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: so the phone was recording the kids. Is they were
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: like just saying all the bad words that they know.
- 1:10:05Speaker 15: And you know how Mommy tell you not to cuss
- 1:10:07Speaker 15: because that's bad. Right, You don't say bad words because
- 1:10:10Speaker 15: you get in trouble and that's bad and God don't
- 1:10:13Speaker 15: like that, right, so that doesn't happen again, Mommy, gonna
- 1:10:16Speaker 15: let you say arm crust words you want, just this
- 1:10:19Speaker 15: one time, you can get it at your system, and
- 1:10:21Speaker 15: after that, don't ever say it again.
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: Okay, okay, but.
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: Yeah is not.
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: You got them all out, oh speech, I don't know
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: you have.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: You got them all so either from the mom kicking
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: the dad out or from the dad kicking the mom.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: I don't need you, bitch, you get out of my house.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: I don't need you, bitch.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: I don't know who did this, but I was at
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: a house gathering and one of my friend's kids gets
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: in the middle of the living room and starts just
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: stealing out icky snatch, the funniest thing and would not
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: stop saying.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Here's another one of those, the bathroom cursing things.
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: When the store shut.
- 1:11:26Speaker 15: You can say any words you want to, even naughty words,
- 1:11:29Speaker 15: bad words.
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: That way, you get him out in here and you
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: don't say him in public where you're not supposed to.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Say one dad word.
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: Just quietly, you said whatever you want to say, and
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: you won't get in trouble.
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: Let me know when you're done.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Yeah a crack And then yeah, here's this kid, which
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: I would.
- 1:12:11Speaker 13: Go to bitch.
- 1:12:15Speaker 9: J at, which I will go both and on which
- 1:12:17Speaker 9: I will having no right there at the police at mister.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: Jail, grandma. Now it sounds like Greg laughing, like Greg
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: under control, deserve get out of the tower.
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: Hey, this last Stagg and his right right, that's that
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: and what not? For the hour?
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: Take a la.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Me playing me.
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: Hope, don't blame me home.
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: I can understand half of that.
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: Sea boss. I'm curious what you think of this.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: I think it's care.
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: I am a little bit as someone else said, I
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: just kind of depressed or sad that they would like
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: have these ready to go, especially calling your mama.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: Already's chambered. I'll give you, I'll give you one more
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: and then we'll take the break. But this is a
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: toddler on one of those like little toy phones, a
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: pretend phone, making a call, like pretending to have a
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: phone conversation, laughing about something that someone's saying on the
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: other end, and yeah, I just having a good time
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: day here ragay it just drops the f com I mean,
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: people do talk laugh so good alright eight seven seven
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: forty four Wooding text us two two nine eighty seven
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: more Woody show is next time. So what do you
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: show to be back a bit. Hello to The Woody Show.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Chris Barnell here with a video message.
- 1:14:09Speaker 11: Hi, I'm Greg Gory. I love respect and I'm quite
- 1:14:13Speaker 11: jealous of Sea Bass. Let's spend the weekend in Santa Barbara.
- 1:14:17Speaker 11: I have a wide selection of cabernets to choose from. Yeah,
- 1:14:22Speaker 11: The Woody Show.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. Well we're into another new hour
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: insensitivity training for a politically correct world. Wooding, Greg Manace, Hi,
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: Gina Grady. We've got Sea Bass, We've got Sammy Morgan
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: is here. Phones are open eight seven seven forty four. Wooding,
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: you can't hit us up with a text over to
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: two two nine eight seven.
- 1:14:45Speaker 5: Dude.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: I don't know, like if I'm losing my mind or what,
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: but more often than not, and this has happened to
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: me a lot over the last couple of weeks. Is
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: this a sign that you're having like a stroke or something. Okay, So,
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: like you know, when you look at a word and
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: you write it down, you go, there's no way that's
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: the right spelling. It looks so weird, like when it's
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: spelled right. Yeah, what word of the day. Yeah, we
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: get it, but we were here too, I get it. Yeah,
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: like a word that you've written a thousand times and
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: you know how to spell it. It's not even like
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: you have to stop and thinking about you just right,
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: But for whatever reason, in that moment, it just looks weird.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Yea.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: I looked at my own name recently and I go
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: not that it was spelled wrong. I'm like, you know,
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: like a word that the more you say it, the
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: more strange it sounds. That's what it is, Like, that's
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: so weird, weird, what a weird ass thing when you
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: say it. Then when you look at it, I.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Think that does sound like a little glitch of some kind.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, just like you know, the more things that you
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: think about it, Like, so people say that about sex,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: like we think about what sex is, like what it's weird? Yeah,
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: Like I mean just think about it. I mean, like
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: think about what you're doing and think about what's happening.
- 1:15:56Speaker 10: The weird think about sex is that people get grossed
- 1:15:59Speaker 10: out by doing such milder things. Yeah, like, oh my god,
- 1:16:02Speaker 10: can you imagine sharing a toothbrush? Yeah, it was your mouth,
- 1:16:07Speaker 10: you know what I mean?
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Even more you're you're you're worried about leaving your toothbrush
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: out in the bathroom. Not even next to them, just
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: in the same room attitude. But yet meanwhile you're tossing salad.
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: I would bet.
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: Every single penny in my bank account that Sammy would
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: never let Steamboat Willie use her toothbrush.
- 1:16:27Speaker 6: Uh no, I mean he can use it and then
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: I'll throw it away later.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: You wouldn't, you would French.
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: Will speaking food out of your teeth, and with you,
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: I just knew you would.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: Frenching is different than brushing your teeth. Let's let's change
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: that that narrative because people say, oh, it's just the same. No, no, no,
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: the toothbrush you're you're digging and Sammy is you're digging
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: and scraping and getting old stuff out of there with French.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: When you were a teenager, I mean, if you're doing
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: this an adult, did you get your head examined by
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Like when people were teenagers, people used to exchange gum,
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: Like a guy wouldn't do that to the chick, but
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: like the chick, Like you'd go to like make out
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: with your girlfriend all of a sudden, like she passed
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: you her gun.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: Yeah, you felt like you got.
- 1:17:15Speaker 10: Some you know, Oh, mine was kind of labor because
- 1:17:19Speaker 10: you know, we would smoke cigarettes, so you would like
- 1:17:21Speaker 10: take a drag inhale and then make out with the
- 1:17:24Speaker 10: chick and then blow it into her.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's the cigarette version of snowballing. Totally
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: weed though.
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I still do that. I still shotgun with friends. You,
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: it's so much less harsh.
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: Shotgunning is way better.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: Yeah, just when when you think about really what it is,
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: it's it's super like sex is super weird.
- 1:17:47Speaker 13: Uh.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Sleeping like, you know, that's another thing. It's like when
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: the more it's it's normal, right, but like the more
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: you actually think about it, you're going conscious. Like you
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: just lay there for hours while you're living in a
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: different like alternate reality in your head. Every night you're
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: having these dreams and these weirds like it's weird. Like, Okay,
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna go and I'm gonna lay down on this thing, yeah,
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: the bed. I'm just gonna lay down here for a
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: big chunk of hours.
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: Yeah, and then start all over again. How do you
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: know that you're not asleep right now?
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: I told you, dude, I had that thought before of like,
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: how do we know we're not already dead? Yeah, we're simulation,
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: but at some point we we segued from our real
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: earthly existence, our earthly life, and without us realizing it,
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: we woke up as if it was like the next day. Yeah,
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: and then we have now continued what if this is so?
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: If your life really sucks and life is really terrible
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: or whatever, maybe you were a bad person in your
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: last life and this is your hell, this is hell,
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: this is your nightmare. Because people go, oh my god,
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: this is my hell. I'm living my hell, like you know,
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: life is hell. Like maybe maybe you just you know, died,
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: didn't realize it, and this is this is your this
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: is your sentence, right, or if you have a really
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: great life, maybe you were a really great person and
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: it's not like you get to go see all your
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: old relatives and stuff. Okay, there's a good question for Greg.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: All right to Greg, Heaven and hell it exists, okay, right,
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: but instead of when you die you have a choice.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: You get to go see all your you know, dead
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: relatives and and things like that people talk about like
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: going to heaven and whatever. You get to go that
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Jimmy Hendrix concert you always wanted to say, or whatever,
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: or you just go to a parallel like you said,
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: like it just segues, Yeah, but like because you were
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: a good person or whatever. The alternate version of heaven
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: would be going into a quote another life where you
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: were just like loaded and you know, like all the
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: stuff that you wanted from your last life is now happen.
- 1:19:51Speaker 10: Options because you all reunited with loved ones or get
- 1:19:53Speaker 10: this awesome life all over again.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, like you, like I said, like what if for
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: already dead right now? And so just look at wherever
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: your life is right now. You have a good life. Cool,
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: then you're probably a good person that it would be
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: like because you had a good uh, a good existence
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: and this is heaven and this is without knowing it obviously. Yes,
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: I would take the second life. Oh well yeah, because
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: what are you gonna do after after Let's say, I
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: don't know, and I see again after a week grandma
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: floating around a cloud? Your grandma?
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: All right, Now, what I thought you were.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: Going to say?
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: Would you rather go to heaven alone or hell with
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: your loved one?
- 1:20:28Speaker 13: No?
- 1:20:29Speaker 11: No, no, I like that.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: I'm saying it's two different versions of quote heaven, right,
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: like people have this all No, you're you know, your
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: your old dog and your relatives and stuff like that, right,
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: the dog would be. You know, but if if you
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: got to, you know, my own personal heaven on earth
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: or in life, like, what would that look like? Greg's
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: would be, you know, waking up so rich that he
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: checks his back account every day just to see it,
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: but never really worrying about any kind of taking that month.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: I think heaven would even if the way that we
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: had picture in our heads, it would kind of get
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: boring because you wouldn't you wouldn't be missing anything, because
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: you wouldn't be aware of your last life. You wouldn't
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: be like, oh well I could have been right now
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: in the other heaven. Yeah, this is such a high thought.
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: I are we all high right now?
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: What if we're not here right now? Here's another good
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: example of something that's actually kind of weird the more
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: you think about it. Public restrooms, Right, I find that
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: I've always found that to be weird. Yeah.
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: I just had the weirdest thought the other day, me
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: and Tyler put our butts on the same toilet.
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: I had that same thought for you, thank you, but
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: it just hit me the other dungeon.
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: Yeah, it's the same with public toilets.
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: I mean, you're just so weird. It happens here every day,
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: and the men walk in there like you know, menaces
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: there already at the ear, not taking a leak. I
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: pull up next to it, but you.
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: Don't know that it's toiler.
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: We're sitting there. We're both sitting there, we both have
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: our our wieners out in our hands and we're like
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: expelling a liquid from our body. And said, they're having
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: a conversation.
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: So weird and it's hard for me to wrap my
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: head around.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not weird out by it, but it was. Yeah,
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: but when you when you stop and think about it,
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: it's it's kind of weird. Trying to gross the trough.
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: I can't.
- 1:22:04Speaker 5: I don't know how you guys do that.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's weird. The trough is just a bad
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: that's that. That was just a bad idea.
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: And it's like so rare that it's hilarious when people
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: walk in and think it's a sink.
- 1:22:19Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, because sometimes they'll have round ones too, and
- 1:22:22Speaker 10: it looks like their.
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: Hands like luck eyes with people from across in a circle.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: What's something else that you know, it's a normal thing,
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: but it's it's actually kind of weird. The more you
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: think about it eight seven seven forty four, Woodie, what
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: using forks at a restaurant really? Like everybody before you
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: use that? Yeah, I thought about that with pillows at hotels.
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: Always think about because people always like skied out by
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: the idea of the of the remote control. Yeah right,
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: and things like that, like you're you're sitting there wiping
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: down the remote control, but then you put your face yep,
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: like somebody probably had that as their crotch pill of
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: the night before, like the one they're keeping between their knees,
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: but they wash that.
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: God, it's one of those things. I have no idea
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: how we got on to the subject. Like what I
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: thought was initially we oh, I said, I said, yeah,
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: looking at word because I wrote something down that I
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: was like that it's not the correct spelling. Out of
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: double checking, and yeah, it turns out that is the
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: right spell. It just looks weird. It doesn't look like
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: it's supposed to be spelled that way. Yeah. There was
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: a uh, a weakest link question that you had where
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: you asked, Gina, how many ease are in the word argument?
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Now you would think that there would be two. It's
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: kind of trickery. You gotta like stop and thinking about
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: like how do you spell argue? Menace? Uh r A
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: g argue? Are you?
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: Are you like we're going to argue about something We're
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: gonna are you?
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: G are you?
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: Are you serious?
- 1:24:01Speaker 5: Argue?
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Argue? Spelling? You're spelling ragout? Argument begins with the letter A.
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: Oh picture, you can't picture the word even argue. No,
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: like if you're going to read it, like oh mom
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: and Dad were arguing, yeah, I probably would have read
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: it right, yeah, all right, anyway, so yeah, you have
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: those where like the can't be the right spelling?
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Is it?
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: Really?
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: That's how I feel when I look at my signature.
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: How the hell did it devolve into that? Yeah? Just
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: spread and now like when you go to those places
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: and you have the digital pen thing, I don't even
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: try anymore. Just picture, Yeah, I take I take my
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: finger and I just do like a squiggly game. And
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: as long as it accepts as something is there.
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: Whatever, nobody's checking that moving moving right.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: Long.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we were talking about uh things that that are
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: normal but like kind of weird the more you think
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: about it, Like when you think about what sex is,
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: like that's that's weird. Sleeping we're talking about that public restrooms.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: We brought up things are so weird. Spending most of
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: your life on a job you don't care about. That's
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: that's weird, sad, you know, like, yeah, like what do
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: you what are you doing? Job interviews? Somebody mentioned, Yeah,
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: they can be awkward, like two strangers pretending that this
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: awkward conversation. Well, just somehow in this short kind of
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: back and forth, you're going to be able to figure
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: out if this person is, you know, the right fit,
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: or you're gonna be able to work together with this person.
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: None of that is true. You're not gonna be able
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: to figure that out. But this talk about a high thought.
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: I think about this all the time. If I go
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: to a restaurant, I go to a doctor's appointment, if
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: I go to I talk to a receptionists, we're all
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: just playing these parts, like, Hi, I'm in this costume.
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: I'll be playing the part of the dentist.
- 1:25:41Speaker 5: Yeah, they say it's weird.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: Somebody had told me years ago that whenever. You know,
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: because when I got into a position where I started
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: having like interview people for positions like hiring people like
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: I don't know what am I doing here? Like Well,
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: the biggest thing you have to really try to figure
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: out is reading people, because anybody, whether it's a relationship
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: a job interview, Like when you meet somebody, like, you know,
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: potential relationship, they're always sending their their representative, right, that
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: is not the real them. Yeah, the person that shows
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: up to the interview is not the person you're going
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: to be working with.
- 1:26:11Speaker 13: Now.
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: The person that you met at the bar to I
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: is not gonna be the person that you're in the relationship.
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: Like that is a representative, that's a version.
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: That's the person who wants the job, not the person who.
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: Has the job.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: Correct, they're addressing for the job they want, right. But yeah, Like,
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: and it takes a certain amount of time for that
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: you start to see, you know, what's really going on
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: the peel back. Oh there's a funny thing. I post
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: this on our what do you show Instagram? I don't
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: know if you caught it on the Instagram story. I
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: mean it's not there anymore. It expired by now. But
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: this is pretty funny. This is like if job interviews
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: were honest, right, and there's a couple of these, here's one.
- 1:26:50Speaker 13: Then we contact your previous employer. Sure, as long as
- 1:26:53Speaker 13: I can contact your previous employees, I beg your pardon.
- 1:26:56Speaker 13: You ask me if you can contact all the people
- 1:26:58Speaker 13: I used to work for And so I asked you
- 1:27:00Speaker 13: if I can contact all the people who used to
- 1:27:02Speaker 13: work for you.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: That does seem like a pretty good idea.
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: Would love to Let's call it glassdoor.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, is that right?
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the website.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: It's although and that's what it is. It's basically like
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: a Yelp for every job ever. Guess what?
- 1:27:15Speaker 5: Guess what? The how many stars that our current office
- 1:27:18Speaker 5: has right right now?
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: Five five and a five.
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: Four and a half It is two point seven.
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: I mean it's a little bit of average, right. Twenty
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: one percent would recommend this company to a friend?
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: Pretty high?
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that I thought.
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: Twenty five percent ip prove of the CEO.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: We just want to contact your.
- 1:27:38Speaker 13: Previous employer to find out what you were like on
- 1:27:41Speaker 13: the job. Yeah, And I just want to contact your
- 1:27:42Speaker 13: previous employees to find out what you did to drive
- 1:27:45Speaker 13: them away. We didn't do anything to drive them away. Hey,
- 1:27:48Speaker 13: I'll trust you if you trust me. It's not a
- 1:27:50Speaker 13: matter of trust. We asked this of everyone we interview, Okay,
- 1:27:53Speaker 13: And I asked this of everyone I interviewed for. No,
- 1:27:55Speaker 13: we just have a policy where we contact a potential
- 1:27:57Speaker 13: candidate's previous employers before hiring them. Yeah, and I just
- 1:28:01Speaker 13: have a policy where I contact a potential job's.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: Previous employees before.
- 1:28:05Speaker 13: Agreeing to be hired. That's incredibly unorthodox. WHOA, I'm just
- 1:28:10Speaker 13: asking you for the same thing you're asking me. So
- 1:28:12Speaker 13: if I'm unorthodox, brothers, so are you. Why would we
- 1:28:14Speaker 13: want to hire someone who refuses to let us contact
- 1:28:17Speaker 13: their previous employers? Why would I want to be hired
- 1:28:19Speaker 13: by someone who let me contact their previous employees. But
- 1:28:23Speaker 13: even if you did contact their previous employees and they
- 1:28:25Speaker 13: happen to have some negative things to say, they could
- 1:28:27Speaker 13: just be saying those things because they're disgruntled, saying those
- 1:28:30Speaker 13: for my previous employers.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: Well what do we do now?
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: Well, how about you just hire me and.
- 1:28:35Speaker 13: Forget about It's fine, Get you're hired.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Great?
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: When do I start there?
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: You go, it's logical.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: I would I would love to actually pull that. Yeah,
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: I would love to do that, And I think that
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: that'd be cool.
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: Makes sense?
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: Well, it's really easy. When you say we have a policy,
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: that's like a super easy thing to say.
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: It's a conversation stopper.
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: Sorry, I mean, have you ever take this in an
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: interview that you know that you're not going to take
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: the job, you can act like that is fun?
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I knew. There was one interview
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: that I knew. During the interview, I'm like, I'm not
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: working for this guy. Yeah, because I had talked to
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: the dude. I had just gone through a couple of
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: situations where I'd worked at the station and then you know,
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: they ended up like flipping the format or selling the
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: stations all together, and so I was looking for something
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: more stable, not that there's really a lot of stable
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: stuff within this industry. But I said to the guy,
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: I said, hey, so how do you like it here?
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: And you know, how do you like the company? Because
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: I'd never worked for this company before. The station had
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: been around for a long time and been around for decades.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: It's a rock station. I'm like, okay, cool, and he goes, yeah,
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: now he goes, it's great, he goes, But this is
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: about the time I'm almost to the point where I
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: know the phone system inside and out. When I get
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: to the idea that I know the phone system inside
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: and out. That's when I know it's pretty much time
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: to move on to this I thought he was being
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: like silly. I thought he was just joking and he
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: was serious. Like, once he kind of figures out how
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: everything works there, he moves on to the next job
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: he goes, which is also why he goes. I try
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: not to be you know, all that friendly or you know,
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: close with the people that work for me. Oh, it's
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: got I don't want to have to feel bad when
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: I have to let them go. I'm like, man, yeah,
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: I'm not working.
- 1:30:08Speaker 11: For this guy.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: Yeah, phone system is his barometer.
- 1:30:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: Well at the time that was a big deal. You know,
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: the phone system now is not a is not a thing.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: Very impressive.
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: I liied on it. You tell me about yourself. I
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: need money to survive capitalism. What would you say? It's
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: your biggest weakness.
- 1:30:26Speaker 5: I have a terrible version of bullet, which makes it
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: hard for me to.
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: Work with others. Why are you looking to change companies?
- 1:30:31Speaker 10: Well, my boss is a huge douche nugget and our
- 1:30:34Speaker 10: product is pretty much a logo painted over chatchiput.
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: So why do you want to work here? Specifically?
- 1:30:38Speaker 10: Specifically because yours is one of the few companies actually hiring.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: And where do you see yourself in five years? Hopefully
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: doing something I actually loved? Great? Yeah, do you have
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: any questions for me?
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: Does your CEO refer to employees as family?
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: Yep, there's your sales team.
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: Actually hit quota. Are you going to go through major
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: layoffs like everyone else?
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: Almost? Definitely?
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: Great, that's all I got.
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: You're hired. When can you start right now? I was
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: laid off three weeks ago. I didn't tell you. It's
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: so fun eight seven seven forty four. Wooding text us
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: over to two two nine eighty seven. Hi, welcome back everybody.
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: It is the Woody Show. We're just laughing about, you know,
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: a couple of those videos that I was talking about
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: and we had on our Instagram story if job interviews
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: were honest?
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: Ye?
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: Have job interviews were honest? And then also like, Hey,
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: so we'd like to reach out and talk to your
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: former employees. Well cool, I'd like to reach out and
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: talk to your former employees. You what they have to
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: say about you?
- 1:31:33Speaker 11: No?
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: What would be critical? Yeah? Pretty good? And then yeah,
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: has everybody been looking up their current employer on glass door?
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: You know, I never really realized what that was?
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: Yeah, your where they just left.
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: I mean it's been a long time since i've you know,
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: had to like get a resume together and send it out.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: You know, my last handful of jobs have been because
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: I got you know, basically recruited, you know, no resume needed. Yeah,
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: the process now seems to be almost impossible because you
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: have everybody writing their resumes with AI, only to be
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: read on the other end by whatever system that you're
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: submitting it to at these different companies. It's filtering through
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: AI before it even gets to anybody to look at
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: you at your resume.
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: Totally sifting through keywords like how does anybody get hired?
- 1:32:21Speaker 5: It's either two things. I mean, if you want to
- 1:32:24Speaker 5: talk about like higher level jobs, it's either people let
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: you know, or recruiters.
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the networking thing is massive. I still tell
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: my kids that now. I'm like, look, whatever it is
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: that you're interested in, make it your business to know
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: everybody who does that job, who are in the positions
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: that hire people for those jobs, or even just in
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: that industry, who's successful just in that space in the industry,
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: And make it your business to know that person and
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: that where you can just bounce some stuff off of them,
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: or you know, they I know, there's a lot of
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: people man like when a kid reaches out, they think
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: that's cool because it's like this kid is showing initiative
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: and they're happy to talk to kid. Now, if you're
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: like thirty five, you know, just kind of like randomly
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: reaching out to somebody, you're gonna have to be a
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: little more slick about it. But the younger you are,
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: the better chance you have of actually establishing some kind
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: of you know, rapport relationship.
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: Although I did have one really bad experience with that.
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: I was in my early twenties and I hounded this
- 1:33:17Speaker 4: guy and I begged to take him to lunch to
- 1:33:19Speaker 4: pick his brain and the you know, like entertainment industry,
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: and he kept blowing me off, and he kept blowing
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: me off, and he finally agreed to go to lunch
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: with me, and I had to get off work, and like,
- 1:33:28Speaker 4: I did everything I could, and I spent all basically
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: the money I had left in my account going to
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: this really fancy restaurant. And the check came and he
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: said thank you, and he got up and left.
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: Oh so he lets you pay for it?
- 1:33:40Speaker 4: Yeah, he hardly said two words to me at lunch.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: Oh, so you didn't even get into now and.
- 1:33:45Speaker 4: He got up and he left, and I paid the
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: bill and went back to work.
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: And did you ever have any kind of interaction?
- 1:33:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: And the worst part of it is this was my
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: dad's best friend in college.
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: Oh that's weird.
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: Is that horrible? Terrible pissed a Yeah, I was really
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: so we just I was like, so, you know, you
- 1:34:02Speaker 4: know my dad?
- 1:34:03Speaker 5: Yeah, yep, Wow, he hated your dad.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: I guess there must have been some kind of like
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: I was really just definitely, if you're out there, you know,
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: trying to get jobs, these are the fastest growing skills
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: that companies are hiring for hiring for. I mean, the
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: demand for the AI related stuff as more than double
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: just in the past year, and that's just going to
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: keep ramping up. The fastest growing skill on the freelancer
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: and the contract worker marketplace over the last year, AI
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: video generation and editing up like over three hundred. Uh,
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: the in demand skills and companies are investing in. So
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: these are just other things. So the AI is not
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: taking away the demand for other skills, but the companies
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: are investing in accounting for accounting and consulting kind of jobs.
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: I don't know what this is. Full stack development, sure,
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: that's for they say coding and web development jobs. Okay,
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: well there's like vibe coding is the new vibe coding
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: because I thought all the coding now was being done
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: by a Well that's what vibe coding is. If you
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: know how to like explain what you want in AI
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: and build it, that's vibe coding. So like, our friend
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: Tony was talking about how his his son's going to
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: go off to college, which is crazy. I felt it
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: was just born. But yeah, he's going to be going
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: off to college and he wants to get into video
- 1:35:21Speaker 2: game design. Yeah, And I was like, is that something
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: that's still basically like yeah, but with AI, I'm sayingcause.
- 1:35:27Speaker 5: People can easily create like a a gaming app or what.
- 1:35:31Speaker 5: But again it's like going back, sorry to use this
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: term vibe coding. It's like you have to still be
- 1:35:38Speaker 5: a creative person, yeah, to explain to a what you want.
- 1:35:42Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: These are other skills that the businesses are looking for
- 1:35:45Speaker 2: when they're hiring virtual assistance. So for a customer service
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: admin support jobs, data analytics for you know, data science
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: and analytics jobs graphic design. Now that's one for sure
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: I thought would be. I came up with a logo
- 1:35:59Speaker 2: for for your your stepson's like a little big bicycle
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: gang his friends in two seconds and it looked really good.
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: And then social media marketing, which you know that's you know,
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: sales marketing and stuff, but like this, the social media marketing,
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: it's it's so crazy where everybody is an expert and
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: it doesn't matter who it is. I'll put anybody and
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: they're all in the same boat. They all they all think,
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: they all think they know what they're talking about. They
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: all have Facebook, but I'm saying, like in I'm online,
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: you know, but they all contradict each other about you know,
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: what's what time you're posting something is important? This other
- 1:36:37Speaker 2: person goes, Nope, not important at all. Yeah, it has
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: no like just keep just keep that in the number
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: of times that you can post something in the day
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: and to be effective like nope, you could post every
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: ten minutes as long as what you're posting is like
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: interesting to the people that you're targeting, you know it.
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: So it's like like who know who knows you know me? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: don't go to Greggie over to caption something forty four
