- 0:18Speaker 1: Luck k ck ck.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Ck and gentlemen, lay I have your attention. Please. The
- 0:55Speaker 2: show starts in my six hard.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Shooting greetings and I say seasoned greetings, compliments of the
- 1:21Speaker 1: season to everyone. This is your host, Queen Mother, doctor
- 1:26Speaker 1: Chin zero of us speaks where we really highlight building
- 1:31Speaker 1: a new legacy and for some persons throughout there, we've
- 1:34Speaker 1: had an opportunity here with the Crew podcast to really
- 1:37Speaker 1: highlight so many different ideas, so many different resolutions, so
- 1:42Speaker 1: many discussions, conversations, and sometimes it may appear like a
- 1:47Speaker 1: lecture because educators are educators, and sometimes we really get
- 1:52Speaker 1: off into very engaging content, and tonight we really would
- 1:56Speaker 1: like to simmer as we get to the of the
- 2:01Speaker 1: year twenty twenty five and encourage persons to take a
- 2:06Speaker 1: very deep breath, hold that breath with sacred intention and release.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It has been a powerful year. For some, they may
- 2:22Speaker 1: use the term interesting. For some they may say it
- 2:26Speaker 1: was provocative. For some they will say it's so challenging,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and yet there have been gains a lot of prosperity
- 2:34Speaker 1: for many, and there's also been significant losses. Losses and body, mind, soul,
- 2:43Speaker 1: spirit and consciousness. One of the things that we spend
- 2:48Speaker 1: a significant amount of time sharing here on US speaks,
- 2:52Speaker 1: and you'll hear us say our speaks, building legacy, Our speaks,
- 2:56Speaker 1: building a new legacy. US speaks. The essence is around
- 3:00Speaker 1: how we embrace our ancestral ancient sacred traditions in contemporary times.
- 3:08Speaker 1: How do we as women begin to have these versations
- 3:13Speaker 1: on conversations and life centered conversations that offer solution and
- 3:18Speaker 1: resolution to how we strengthen ourselves embody, mind, soul, spirit
- 3:25Speaker 1: and consciousness and being clear that we are not perfect.
- 3:29Speaker 1: We're moving hopefully the intention in the direction of perfection. However,
- 3:34Speaker 1: we are not perfect. And it's really important that when
- 3:38Speaker 1: we speak of building new legacies, and I say legacies plural,
- 3:44Speaker 1: we're speaking of it, at least in this podcast. In
- 3:47Speaker 1: these broadcast engagements, usually I have a guest. Sometimes if
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't have a guest, I'm usually referencing which will
- 3:55Speaker 1: happen tonight. Just because of the season, there are so
- 3:59Speaker 1: many pieces of activities happening during this time. People are
- 4:04Speaker 1: preparing for a variety of light centered seasonal change centered
- 4:11Speaker 1: end of the year centered beginning of a new years
- 4:14Speaker 1: centered activities, and I'd want to highlight that When we
- 4:19Speaker 1: speak of building new legacy and just building legacy through
- 4:25Speaker 1: a lens of our ancient ancestral sacred traditions speaks, we're
- 4:33Speaker 1: also speaking up through a lens of an interdisciplinary form
- 4:36Speaker 1: of engagement, an interdisciplinary trans cultural media exchange where we
- 4:44Speaker 1: have onversations, life centered discussions, conversations, reasonings, gatherings. We also
- 4:53Speaker 1: speak about the actionable deliverables that people are involved in.
- 4:58Speaker 1: What are you doing in twenty twenty six when you
- 5:02Speaker 1: speak of having a resolution, which is very customary during
- 5:05Speaker 1: this time of year, what does that manifesting really look like?
- 5:10Speaker 1: How are you going to be able to measure and
- 5:15Speaker 1: offer an accountability tool to your resolutions that you speak
- 5:20Speaker 1: of at the end of twenty twenty five when the
- 5:24Speaker 1: end of twenty twenty six comes forward. Granted that your
- 5:29Speaker 1: life remains in place during that time, because we wish
- 5:33Speaker 1: for the best. The other part of talking around us
- 5:38Speaker 1: speaks building legacy. Throughout this year of twenty twenty five,
- 5:42Speaker 1: we've covered information and ideas that happen in the Caribbean,
- 5:47Speaker 1: in the forty eight antiguous US, throughout the Americas, from
- 5:51Speaker 1: liberally the North Pole to the South Pole and everything between.
- 5:55Speaker 1: We've referenced activities in Europe, of course in Africa. We've
- 5:59Speaker 1: gone to Oceania and other parts of the world to
- 6:03Speaker 1: show a linkage the rippling effect the connectivity of human engagement,
- 6:10Speaker 1: whether we've spoken of it through human rights or the
- 6:12Speaker 1: violations thereof, whether we've talked about health and wellness and
- 6:18Speaker 1: care and compassion or the imbalance and the lack thereof,
- 6:25Speaker 1: whether we've talked about peace and all types of peace
- 6:30Speaker 1: building efforts that are happening around the world or not.
- 6:35Speaker 1: When there's been forms of terrorism, in genocide and warfare
- 6:40Speaker 1: that are unparallel in human history. We've had a chance
- 6:45Speaker 1: to raise some of these conversations and to listen to
- 6:48Speaker 1: how many of our sisters and brothers have offered ways
- 6:54Speaker 1: of learning, ways of thriving, not only surviving, but thriving
- 7:01Speaker 1: through many of these global affairs. We've looked at it
- 7:04Speaker 1: from a microscopic level of some of our individual losses
- 7:10Speaker 1: and gains. What has happened in our families, both bi logical,
- 7:15Speaker 1: extended and spiritual because they are slightly different. We've looked
- 7:20Speaker 1: at our communities, whether we are in the Western Hemisphere,
- 7:23Speaker 1: the Eastern Hemisphere, the Northern Hemisphere, or the Southern hemisphere,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and we've also looked at things through a lens of
- 7:29Speaker 1: things that are regional to compare them. And we've also
- 7:33Speaker 1: taken some time to just breathe and be settled and
- 7:40Speaker 1: explore ways that we can show respect from one another
- 7:45Speaker 1: in the midst of living in an environment that is
- 7:48Speaker 1: changing every squintet smaller than a second of the day.
- 7:57Speaker 1: With that being said, that's why tonight my deepest intention
- 8:03Speaker 1: as the host of I speaks building new legacy and
- 8:08Speaker 1: then highlighting the vibration around knowledge and power and prosperity
- 8:13Speaker 1: and truth, justice, order, reciprocity, divine righteousness, balance and harmony
- 8:21Speaker 1: through a lens of those several principles are an integral
- 8:26Speaker 1: part of the ancestral feminine principle of my eye. I
- 8:33Speaker 1: encourage persons to as they're progressing through this shift in
- 8:37Speaker 1: the Gregorian calendar, because remember we're speaking of the Gregorian
- 8:41Speaker 1: calendar coming to an end on December they first, and
- 8:45Speaker 1: opening up the new Gregorian year of two thousand and
- 8:50Speaker 1: twenty six on January first, because in Ethiopia is a
- 8:55Speaker 1: different year. According to the den that are there's a
- 8:59Speaker 1: different year and many others. As mynd calendar, there's the Japanese,
- 9:04Speaker 1: the Child, There's so many different calendars, so we're speaking
- 9:07Speaker 1: through a lens of that, and I'd like to use
- 9:10Speaker 1: this time to highlight a couple of points that are
- 9:14Speaker 1: linked to the winter Solstice. And some persons are like, well,
- 9:18Speaker 1: what are you gonna jump from what the show is
- 9:22Speaker 1: to the winter Solstice? Since this is a time of
- 9:24Speaker 1: festivities and a time where everyone has their free will
- 9:32Speaker 1: to accept, acknowledge, recognize, respect, practice that which provides divine righteousness,
- 9:43Speaker 1: harmony and balance for them. There was a time where
- 9:47Speaker 1: persons were very very rigid, very strict in regards to
- 9:53Speaker 1: you know, if you celebrate Halloween, you must be into
- 9:58Speaker 1: devil worship. If you celebrate Hanukkah, then you're overlooking the
- 10:05Speaker 1: rights of persons that are not part of the Judaeus.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Not speaking of Zionism, it's the Judaeus tradition. And I
- 10:13Speaker 1: think this is a great time during these winter months. Again,
- 10:18Speaker 1: we speak of the winter season around this time of
- 10:22Speaker 1: the year, knowing that December twenty first, customarily around that
- 10:29Speaker 1: particular day, is the longest night of the year. Not
- 10:37Speaker 1: my words, it's an astronomical, planetary seasonal reality that impacts
- 10:45Speaker 1: the entire planet, and even with the Earth tilted. And
- 10:49Speaker 1: so this winter solstice time is also a time where
- 10:53Speaker 1: people speak of the rising of the light or the
- 10:56Speaker 1: ascension of the light, or the awakening of light right,
- 11:00Speaker 1: And in some traditions people misrepresent people that actually have
- 11:08Speaker 1: ceremonies and acknowledge light, acknowledge the rising of the sun,
- 11:13Speaker 1: and it ends up becoming something really wugie wugie in
- 11:16Speaker 1: regards to sun worship eers. And I like for persons
- 11:20Speaker 1: to just look at the simplicity of how the divine
- 11:24Speaker 1: Creator has prepared us and guided us and sheltered us.
- 11:28Speaker 1: And understanding unnatural occurrence of the longest night of the
- 11:34Speaker 1: year and the beginning of the season where more light
- 11:39Speaker 1: comes earlier and earlier each day. I think that it's
- 11:43Speaker 1: really instrumental for us to respect, recognize, and at least
- 11:50Speaker 1: just acknowledge that. And for those that like to know
- 11:53Speaker 1: more information, I really encourage you to look at some
- 11:56Speaker 1: of the very engaging information around what is the winter solstice,
- 12:01Speaker 1: not the PBGB side, you know, just look at the
- 12:06Speaker 1: essence of where some of the words of light, words
- 12:12Speaker 1: of positive practice are acknowledged. So I'll share a particular
- 12:17Speaker 1: piece from a colleague scholar who has spent some time
- 12:23Speaker 1: looking at this season during this time of the month
- 12:27Speaker 1: of December in this Gregorian calendar, and for some the
- 12:31Speaker 1: significance is always linked to quote the first day to lengthening,
- 12:37Speaker 1: most obviously after December twenty first. Typically the shortest day
- 12:42Speaker 1: of the year is the day of the winter solstice.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Please understand that the ancient Chemites have always believed in
- 12:51Speaker 1: one supreme God, or rather expression of divine life force,
- 12:56Speaker 1: as stated in the Book of the Coming forth from
- 12:59Speaker 1: Darkness into Life, per turn, and that was written and
- 13:04Speaker 1: revised excuse me six excuse me six thousand years ago.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'll continue the quotation. Nevertheless, the spirit of life from
- 13:18Speaker 1: the Creator exists in all things, and therefore we honor
- 13:22Speaker 1: this manifestation of the Creator's life force. Ra in the
- 13:26Speaker 1: sun at the midnight hour on the very first minute
- 13:31Speaker 1: of the twenty fifth of December. The birth of the
- 13:34Speaker 1: sun is commemorated. Beginning of the twenty first, the period
- 13:39Speaker 1: of sunlight and each day increased. Thus the sun appears
- 13:43Speaker 1: to have been born again from the short periods of
- 13:46Speaker 1: daylight in the preceding months. At this time, the sun
- 13:51Speaker 1: was in the zodiacal signed Capricorn, which was known as
- 13:56Speaker 1: the stay hole. So the infant sun was said to
- 13:59Speaker 1: have been born in a stable. Shining brightly on the
- 14:02Speaker 1: meridian was Serious the star from the east, while rising
- 14:06Speaker 1: in the east was Virgo the Virgin the line of
- 14:10Speaker 1: the horizon passing through her center. To the right of
- 14:14Speaker 1: Sirius was Orion with three stars in his belt. These
- 14:21Speaker 1: stars lie in a line and point towards Sirius, and
- 14:26Speaker 1: in ancient times they were known as three Kings. Now
- 14:30Speaker 1: this is coming from a post that have been shared
- 14:34Speaker 1: amongst several of us that have been studying this astronomical reality.
- 14:38Speaker 1: What takes place in the month of December, again respecting
- 14:43Speaker 1: the seasonal transformation around winter solstice. But this is based
- 14:47Speaker 1: on teachings that were published and you can easily find
- 14:50Speaker 1: them in the Saroset community and specifically through the work
- 14:55Speaker 1: of the founding elder rah neffer Amen. Some may remember
- 15:04Speaker 1: him as raw neffer Amend, some may remember him as
- 15:08Speaker 1: Strong And we can go on and on, but if
- 15:11Speaker 1: you'd like to learn more, I encourage persons it just
- 15:13Speaker 1: look for the asar a Set a U s a
- 15:15Speaker 1: r a U s Et Society and there's a variety,
- 15:20Speaker 1: a very wide variety of literature that you would be
- 15:23Speaker 1: able to locate, find and engage in because people speak
- 15:27Speaker 1: of this through a various set of lenses. There are
- 15:30Speaker 1: so many that have studied this to really get a
- 15:34Speaker 1: better form of clarity on why is this literally globally
- 15:41Speaker 1: acknowledges the time of balance, the time of divine righteousness,
- 15:45Speaker 1: the time but what is it? Joy to the world,
- 15:48Speaker 1: the Lord has come. Let's be real honest on what
- 15:51Speaker 1: this means in different vernaculars, in different spaces and different societies,
- 15:56Speaker 1: amongst different cultures. And it should be a time of joy,
- 16:00Speaker 1: but it's also a time of loss. It's also a
- 16:04Speaker 1: time of setting things to rest. It's also a time
- 16:10Speaker 1: where we see the old beer come down and go
- 16:16Speaker 1: out with the old man with the staff bending over,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and we see the baby coming into the new light
- 16:24Speaker 1: in the new year, in this season, in this time.
- 16:28Speaker 1: So there's a lot that comes with that. So there's
- 16:31Speaker 1: been a number. I mean, I have actually done some
- 16:35Speaker 1: different publications around this theme, and I made sure to
- 16:41Speaker 1: pull from a wider variety of what I refer to
- 16:44Speaker 1: as like eglectic knowledge systems that allow for persons to
- 16:50Speaker 1: bring in their different observations during this time of the year.
- 16:55Speaker 1: There's eight billion humans on Earth and counting. And as
- 17:00Speaker 1: much as we may think that there is a singular
- 17:03Speaker 1: way of observing, recognizing, acknowledging, and respecting the sun of
- 17:11Speaker 1: the Creator, it is not limited to one particular practice.
- 17:18Speaker 1: And again, just my perspective, this is just you know,
- 17:21Speaker 1: no one has to acknowledge and accept what I'm saying
- 17:25Speaker 1: in fullness. That's why I'm always encouraging persons to do
- 17:29Speaker 1: your own form of study and to remember to the
- 17:35Speaker 1: best coppur ability some of the things that are going
- 17:38Speaker 1: to be shared. You know, sometimes when persons think of
- 17:42Speaker 1: this season, it's also a time in some vernaculars amongst
- 17:45Speaker 1: the chemites, ancient Nole Valley civilization, there is a connection
- 17:53Speaker 1: to Kanu. Kanum is the deified one that's on the
- 17:59Speaker 1: Potter's wheel, you know, the potter, the one that does forming,
- 18:02Speaker 1: the one it molds and works with the Creator in
- 18:05Speaker 1: terms of creation. And there's a lot that comes with that.
- 18:09Speaker 1: So I may read some of that a little later,
- 18:12Speaker 1: but I really like to get back to the point
- 18:15Speaker 1: at hand, so the persons are comfortable when we talk
- 18:18Speaker 1: about the winter solsism. Just notice that this is the
- 18:21Speaker 1: time everybody gets into cleaning. Everybody wants the new year
- 18:25Speaker 1: to come in with their house clean, and they want
- 18:28Speaker 1: things to have light, and they make sure that persons
- 18:32Speaker 1: can see light outside their house. I mean, some people
- 18:36Speaker 1: really go all out. So they're decorations. It looks like
- 18:39Speaker 1: whether it's Christmas and totality, they've got the rein deer,
- 18:44Speaker 1: it could be in the tropics, they're putting in faked snow.
- 18:47Speaker 1: They've got it going on. They've got the sleigh, they've
- 18:51Speaker 1: got the whole Nativity scene, and then they've got snowmen.
- 18:55Speaker 1: So you know what it's like to see a snowman
- 18:57Speaker 1: on someone's porch in the middle of the Caribbean tropics.
- 19:03Speaker 1: That right, So we still have children and not so
- 19:07Speaker 1: young children that leave out food offerings for the Santa
- 19:14Speaker 1: that will come and bring gifts. And it's a set
- 19:18Speaker 1: of rituals. People have trees with beautiful circular look like planets,
- 19:26Speaker 1: ornaments with light and a beautiful star, beautiful nor store
- 19:33Speaker 1: bright star at the top of the tree. And so
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm saying these things because sometimes we you know, you
- 19:39Speaker 1: do Christmas, I do Quansa, you do Honukah I do
- 19:44Speaker 1: you know, we get into Duwali, We get into a
- 19:46Speaker 1: lot of how do you express your recognition, support, love
- 19:53Speaker 1: and honor of the almighty during this time of the year.
- 20:00Speaker 1: And all we're encouraging is that it be done so
- 20:04Speaker 1: it authentically provides joy, peace, love and prosperity. Doing that
- 20:14Speaker 1: is great if you can, if you have a lot
- 20:16Speaker 1: of gifts, even if the boxes are just pretty really
- 20:19Speaker 1: you know, very beautified and rapt nice and there's nothing
- 20:22Speaker 1: in them. But if it's like a show piece, if
- 20:27Speaker 1: you want to go all out and spend until you spend, spend.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Everyone has their way that they do this. For some
- 20:34Speaker 1: people is what do they make, what do they bake,
- 20:36Speaker 1: what do they share? What do they teach? What do
- 20:39Speaker 1: they utter? Some people is just being present and showing
- 20:45Speaker 1: love and mercy and that really wonderful g word grace
- 20:54Speaker 1: and gratitude. For some, it's setting up an altar. For
- 20:59Speaker 1: some it is being at mass or having a religio,
- 21:04Speaker 1: being part of a religious service. For some is singing
- 21:07Speaker 1: with the choir, even if you're not a singer, but
- 21:09Speaker 1: at least humming and doing your best to stay on
- 21:12Speaker 1: key and acknowledging those choral gatherings. For some it might
- 21:19Speaker 1: be going from house to house. I know brothers and
- 21:21Speaker 1: sisters that are Buddhists that still remember all the Christmas
- 21:25Speaker 1: carols and during this season, even though they're Buddhists practicing Buddhists,
- 21:31Speaker 1: they still travel with their families to do these choral
- 21:34Speaker 1: songs and caroling from house to house because it brings
- 21:37Speaker 1: them joy and it brings peace literally to the world.
- 21:41Speaker 1: So when I'm talking about these things, as I'm coming
- 21:45Speaker 1: from a lens of whether it's the winter solstice, whether
- 21:48Speaker 1: it's Christmas, whether it's Kwanza. And we'll speak about Kwanza
- 21:52Speaker 1: in a moment, because I don't wish for anyone to
- 21:54Speaker 1: feel like that's being ignored or deleted in the conversation.
- 21:58Speaker 1: But i'd like to I like that we're looking at
- 22:01Speaker 1: things that are also gracefully respecting that which has existed
- 22:09Speaker 1: for millennium, not just man made obligatory types of religiosity
- 22:16Speaker 1: and practices, and definitely not things that are designed to
- 22:21Speaker 1: replace something that something else, but things that are organically
- 22:26Speaker 1: connected to you know, how do you clear space during
- 22:30Speaker 1: this time? How do we show respect to the almighty?
- 22:34Speaker 1: How do we honor this season, and how do we
- 22:38Speaker 1: bring that type of joy and honor in a very beautiful, uplifting, loving,
- 22:47Speaker 1: powerfully welcoming way. Right, there was a time where I
- 22:54Speaker 1: can remember because while we speak of the winter solstice
- 22:59Speaker 1: in December, in September, we're dealing with the autumnal equinox
- 23:03Speaker 1: honor about the twenty second and September. In the summer,
- 23:08Speaker 1: we have a summer solstice honor about the twenty first
- 23:13Speaker 1: of June. And notice this is when the seasons change
- 23:17Speaker 1: in accordance, particularly for those living in the nordn the hemisphere,
- 23:20Speaker 1: they have distinct seasons spring, summer, autumn, winter. Right, and
- 23:29Speaker 1: in the spring the equinox equal days, equal nights is
- 23:33Speaker 1: honor about the twenty second of March. And this particular
- 23:39Speaker 1: season gives us an opportunity to not only celebrate moving
- 23:47Speaker 1: out of the quote cosmic darkness of the year and
- 23:53Speaker 1: moving into the cosmic light, you know, with the new
- 23:57Speaker 1: year and new beginnings and the opening of light, it
- 24:02Speaker 1: also allows us to recognize the significance in terms of
- 24:09Speaker 1: ceremonies that are done around this time and the solemnity
- 24:18Speaker 1: the balance that comes with them, you know. So for
- 24:22Speaker 1: some people it's going to be joyous music, singing, et cetera.
- 24:26Speaker 1: For others it may be complete silence. For some it
- 24:30Speaker 1: may be a time of fasting and meditation. Many people
- 24:33Speaker 1: will fast will they need to after observing certain holidays
- 24:38Speaker 1: in November, like Thanksgiving, where there's a lot of beasting,
- 24:42Speaker 1: and then again forgetting that this is supposed to be
- 24:45Speaker 1: or had originally been a time of celebrating the harvest
- 24:50Speaker 1: and honoring those first fruits, right, and it has shifted
- 24:56Speaker 1: in terms of a more commercialized piece. And what I
- 24:59Speaker 1: love is that people are still regardless of what the
- 25:02Speaker 1: intentions were how these holidays started. You know, if we
- 25:06Speaker 1: look at some of the work, and I encourage people
- 25:08Speaker 1: to look at publications like African People in European Holidays
- 25:14Speaker 1: Volumes one and two by Reverend Doctor Barshango b A. R. A.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Sha Ngo, not for the lifeheart, but just to get
- 25:29Speaker 1: perspective on how people look at African people's observances that
- 25:35Speaker 1: have become part of the traditional practice, but they're grounded
- 25:41Speaker 1: in very European holidays that not always were designed in
- 25:45Speaker 1: the best interests of people of African ancestry, right, And
- 25:49Speaker 1: it's important to see that you know some persons don't
- 25:53Speaker 1: celebrate anything during this time of the year because they
- 25:56Speaker 1: have practices that do not acknowledge man made holidays. Don't
- 26:00Speaker 1: celebrate birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, any of it. However,
- 26:08Speaker 1: they still give recognition and honor to the illuminated Christ.
- 26:13Speaker 2: One.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I just need all this December for a second, because
- 26:18Speaker 1: this broadcast tonight is really about opening space and for
- 26:23Speaker 1: us to expand to a place of wellness, upliftment and understanding. Again,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, like I started, we are not perfect.
- 26:35Speaker 1: We're moving in a vibration of perfection. And I say
- 26:40Speaker 1: this from a space of honoring those elders still amongst
- 26:49Speaker 1: us that still grace us with their presence and give
- 26:53Speaker 1: us honor and recognition and wisdom and direct guidance whether
- 26:59Speaker 1: we like it or not. And I give thanks and
- 27:03Speaker 1: praise to the young people, the younger generation that have
- 27:09Speaker 1: the drive, the passion, and wisdom and understanding that even
- 27:20Speaker 1: though they know that some of the things that they
- 27:22Speaker 1: inherited are really not the best outright nest up jacked up,
- 27:29Speaker 1: that they still have a semblance of respect and honor
- 27:33Speaker 1: for those that are their physical chronological elders as well
- 27:38Speaker 1: as those that are elders and spirit and that that
- 27:43Speaker 1: reciprocity between these intergenerational dimensions and spaces, prayerfully will be
- 27:50Speaker 1: improved as we move forward with deeper awareness and understanding.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I always highlight a couple of things around this time,
- 28:01Speaker 1: because when we talk about these sessions and professionals, I
- 28:08Speaker 1: want to highlight this small portion. And this is coming
- 28:11Speaker 1: from some of the work, and again some of this
- 28:14Speaker 1: is research that many of us have done together for
- 28:18Speaker 1: some years. Some of this is coming I also encourage
- 28:22Speaker 1: persons to look for Maaa x e r U Macru
- 28:28Speaker 1: Tep t Ep, another powerful scholar, initiate practitioner of ancient
- 28:39Speaker 1: ancestral sacred traditions and a published author who has spent
- 28:44Speaker 1: a significant amount of time looking at these astronomical pieces
- 28:49Speaker 1: of engagement in dimensions and practices and then sharing through
- 28:54Speaker 1: a lens of ceremonial maat truth, justice, order, recip the
- 29:00Speaker 1: balanced divine righteousness and harmony, so that we can at
- 29:04Speaker 1: least speak to some of these conversations in a more
- 29:12Speaker 1: open and clearly understanding, just so that we know that
- 29:15Speaker 1: many of the things that we practice, many of the
- 29:17Speaker 1: things that we think are just literal, they're very symbolic.
- 29:22Speaker 1: And when we speak of astronomy, we're not talking about
- 29:25Speaker 1: the man induced or man interpreted astrology. That's very different.
- 29:30Speaker 1: There's a science to both astrology and astronomy, but we're
- 29:33Speaker 1: speaking specifically through a lens of those astronomical planetary occurrences
- 29:41Speaker 1: that are in alignment with the most time, are in
- 29:44Speaker 1: alignment with the almighty Creator, you know, with minimal interference,
- 29:49Speaker 1: even though many times humans continue to interfere with that
- 29:58Speaker 1: which is nature. To highlight this piece is I was
- 30:02Speaker 1: talking about the stars of the East, the Three Kings,
- 30:05Speaker 1: the connection to the Baby Heru Jesus, the illuminated Christic One,
- 30:11Speaker 1: the Virgin link to the Virgo in astronomy. Just so
- 30:16Speaker 1: people understand that we're speaking of a heliocal space, we're
- 30:19Speaker 1: speaking of angelic space. We're speaking of not just heavenly
- 30:23Speaker 1: bodies but star systems, and some people make it a
- 30:27Speaker 1: little bit deeper. For the purposes of tonight, all I
- 30:32Speaker 1: ask is for openness and understanding and love, joy, peace,
- 30:38Speaker 1: more harmony to the best of our ability. But I
- 30:43Speaker 1: want to highlight a peace around the science that is
- 30:46Speaker 1: shared by my Cadotep and many of these teachings also
- 30:53Speaker 1: a part of a recently ascended ancestor, Baba hru akras
- 31:02Speaker 1: samad se Peta. May he continue to rise in power
- 31:08Speaker 1: among venerated ancestors, clear and free of any interference from
- 31:15Speaker 1: the earth, you know, and he being the chief high
- 31:20Speaker 1: priest of Sma tawi akacension renaissance and the Shrine of Patah,
- 31:27Speaker 1: you know, coming out of the womb of a woman
- 31:33Speaker 1: out of this region of the Caribbean. You know, grounded,
- 31:37Speaker 1: you know, born yes, in punting Publicaminighana, but raised in
- 31:41Speaker 1: the British Virgin Islands and then socialized and retired and
- 31:46Speaker 1: laid to rest in the forty eight contiguous US, but
- 31:51Speaker 1: impacting the globe. And again look up Sma tawe A
- 31:57Speaker 1: s m Ai t a w y and just look
- 32:02Speaker 1: for Barba Haru b Aa ba h e are you
- 32:06Speaker 1: and if you want to go to his more contemporary engagements,
- 32:10Speaker 1: and again to learn the science, you look at the craftsmanship,
- 32:14Speaker 1: the science, the creative arts, and the economic drivers that
- 32:21Speaker 1: people were involved in. You can look up the shrine
- 32:24Speaker 1: of Patar and you can look for the Studio of
- 32:28Speaker 1: Patar in New York to see the legacy of his
- 32:31Speaker 1: work for decades that people wear and are adorned people,
- 32:38Speaker 1: you know, wedding rings, wedding bands, protective garments. You need
- 32:46Speaker 1: to see this to understand why would she talk about
- 32:49Speaker 1: this at this season, at this time, as we're moving
- 32:54Speaker 1: from one part of the Gregorian calendar coming to a
- 32:58Speaker 1: close and opening up the year twenty twenty six. Just
- 33:04Speaker 1: think about that. Take a deep breath. That one so
- 33:15Speaker 1: but in a due moment with some mathematical computations, just to
- 33:18Speaker 1: give it some credence for the techies out here. The
- 33:24Speaker 1: other rotation of the Sun is called precession or procession
- 33:29Speaker 1: of the equinoxes. The procession round of the Sun moves
- 33:32Speaker 1: counterclockwise back to the entire celestial sphere, which includes the
- 33:39Speaker 1: twelve zodiacal constellations or ages. The procession is caused by
- 33:45Speaker 1: the slow, wobbly rotation of the Earth on its own axis.
- 33:50Speaker 1: The Earth wobbles or proceeds at a twenty three point
- 33:56Speaker 1: five degree tilt. It is this is twenty three point
- 34:01Speaker 1: five degree tilt that creates the four seasons of the Earth.
- 34:07Speaker 1: The Earth's full three hundred and sixty degree rotation on
- 34:12Speaker 1: its own axis takes about twenty five thousand, nine hundred
- 34:18Speaker 1: and twenty years. I'm gonna say that part again. The
- 34:22Speaker 1: Earth's full three hundred and sixty degree rotation on its
- 34:27Speaker 1: own axis takes about twenty five, nine hundred and twenty years.
- 34:34Speaker 1: The Earth moves one degree every seventy two years. People
- 34:41Speaker 1: refer to that as conspiratisms or set and thirty degrees
- 34:47Speaker 1: every two thousand, one hundred and sixty years. You need
- 34:53Speaker 1: to remember those numbers. Twenty five nine, twenty one degree,
- 35:00Speaker 1: seventy two years, thirty degrees. You can do the math.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Twy one hundred and sixty with thirty degrees stands out
- 35:12Speaker 1: because the Sun, as Haru the Christ did illuminated one
- 35:18Speaker 1: stays in each of the twelve zodiacal ages for thirty
- 35:22Speaker 1: degrees or twy one hundred and sixty years, before it
- 35:26Speaker 1: moves to the next age. That is why the numbers
- 35:30Speaker 1: thirty and twelve are so important to Western religious theology.
- 35:38Speaker 1: It is said that the mythological Jesus as Sun had
- 35:43Speaker 1: twelve followers, and at the age of thirty he was
- 35:48Speaker 1: baptized by John the Baptist and then went out to
- 35:52Speaker 1: preach the gospel. So again, you see something that's very theological,
- 35:57Speaker 1: that is really linked to something that is astras That's
- 36:00Speaker 1: why it's important to know that science not to negate
- 36:04Speaker 1: either portion, because perspective and how eight billion people see
- 36:09Speaker 1: this will never be the same. It would be lovely
- 36:13Speaker 1: if it were, but it won't be, not in this
- 36:18Speaker 1: particular iteration. So I bring this back to what is
- 36:23Speaker 1: shared here in terms of looking at the creation concepts
- 36:27Speaker 1: through a chemetic Now that and when I say kimm It,
- 36:31Speaker 1: we're speaking of the northern portion of the Nile, recognizing
- 36:35Speaker 1: that kemm It is the grand daughter or the probably
- 36:40Speaker 1: the great grand daughter. Because you need to also look
- 36:43Speaker 1: at Nubia, you need to look at Cush, you need
- 36:48Speaker 1: to look at the eye Nu. You need to go
- 36:50Speaker 1: to the original right, and that's why so many people
- 36:53Speaker 1: can go to Keemi, going to the United our Republic,
- 36:57Speaker 1: with some resistance, going to Sudan, but follow those beautiful
- 37:01Speaker 1: edifices that gives so much history and knowledge to humanity,
- 37:05Speaker 1: not just to people in that region living there now,
- 37:09Speaker 1: but to all of humanity that have traversed through these
- 37:12Speaker 1: spaces and then dispersed in the earth and have established
- 37:16Speaker 1: so many aspects of the illumination of the Christ died
- 37:21Speaker 1: one and light and joy and peace to the world.
- 37:25Speaker 1: And I know this is a lot for some people,
- 37:27Speaker 1: but this is what Spirit brought out for today. And
- 37:33Speaker 1: I think that it's important that we honor how we
- 37:37Speaker 1: speak about this season because for some people, this is
- 37:42Speaker 1: the only time they get with their families, this is
- 37:44Speaker 1: the only time that they fast, this is the only
- 37:48Speaker 1: time that they go into a space of reflection and
- 37:52Speaker 1: love and joy, and we want to honor and respect that.
- 37:56Speaker 1: And I think that that's really critical.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Do that.
- 38:01Speaker 1: And yes, we were having a power moment, so you'll
- 38:04Speaker 1: hear me tuning and moving right. But I want to
- 38:08Speaker 1: highlight a few more things before we leave tonight. And
- 38:12Speaker 1: I want to thank the Crew Podcasts for just giving
- 38:16Speaker 1: persons like me a platform where we can actually talk
- 38:20Speaker 1: about these types of things and share this and if
- 38:23Speaker 1: it provides some degree of strengths or if it raises
- 38:26Speaker 1: more questions, share the questions, send the emails to ask
- 38:30Speaker 1: Speaks ast Speaks at Gmail, or you can place certain
- 38:37Speaker 1: things right into our respective chats with the Crew podcast.
- 38:40Speaker 1: We will be returning, you know, we have some special broadcasts.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Please continue to tune in and listen with the Crew podcast.
- 38:48Speaker 1: There'll be more podcasts from our very powerful hosts throughout
- 38:54Speaker 1: the next week and change, and then there'll be a
- 38:57Speaker 1: moment of reflection in January while everyone is pulling things
- 39:01Speaker 1: back together because featuring starting fresh and new in February.
- 39:07Speaker 1: And we look forward to you supporting. And when I
- 39:10Speaker 1: say support, support, invest, and promote. So if you see
- 39:18Speaker 1: hashtag SIP three sixty five, that's what I'm speaking about.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Can't speak for what they mean elsewhere, but when you
- 39:26Speaker 1: see that in any of Queen Mother Doctor Chinzera's platforms,
- 39:30Speaker 1: SIP three sixty five or just hashtag SIP, I'm speaking of, support, invest, promote.
- 39:37Speaker 1: One of the things we're very good at is listening
- 39:40Speaker 1: to people sometimes, or I should say exercising hearing, because
- 39:47Speaker 1: if we were listening, we would not have to be
- 39:50Speaker 1: reminded to provide resourceful support, resourceful investments, and resourceful promotion
- 39:58Speaker 1: of things that you benefit it from, things that help
- 40:01Speaker 1: you think, things that help improve and increase your journey.
- 40:07Speaker 1: You're tried into perfection. And that's what I will share
- 40:11Speaker 1: with that part for now. One of the other things
- 40:14Speaker 1: that's really beautiful around this time of the year and
- 40:20Speaker 1: for those persons that may not always remember, is this
- 40:24Speaker 1: is also a time where people speak of not just
- 40:28Speaker 1: the Christmas holiday and the birth, the reflection of time,
- 40:34Speaker 1: honoring the birth of Christ in one and we're not
- 40:37Speaker 1: going to do with historiography on if this is actually
- 40:40Speaker 1: the day he was born, is it connected to the
- 40:43Speaker 1: birth of a different one of light or not. We're
- 40:46Speaker 1: going to focus on a large population of the eight
- 40:51Speaker 1: billion humans on earth. Stop everything leading into December twenty fifth.
- 41:00Speaker 1: If we can just let that move in the direction
- 41:02Speaker 1: of peace, love, no war. I'm going to say that joy, peace, love,
- 41:13Speaker 1: no war. Wouldn't it be amazing if there were no
- 41:20Speaker 1: war activities, deaths, homicides, murder, rape or pillaging during this season? Now,
- 41:31Speaker 1: that would be joy to the world the Lord has.
- 41:36Speaker 1: That would be fabulous and it would be epic. And
- 41:41Speaker 1: I'm sure there's had a time and history, maybe not
- 41:46Speaker 1: in our generational period, honestly not, but at some point
- 41:50Speaker 1: that there was authentic peace, authentic balance, authentic light, and
- 42:01Speaker 1: abundant I gotta be loved. Just think about that and
- 42:06Speaker 1: whatever feel like. I think I like that more than usual.
- 42:13Speaker 1: And with that being shared, I think the other part
- 42:17Speaker 1: that we were going to cover tonight because we're gonna
- 42:19Speaker 1: close shortly within our hour. This is a great time
- 42:25Speaker 1: to look at what people have brought together around Quanta.
- 42:32Speaker 1: You know, many people will say that it's a man
- 42:36Speaker 1: made holiday. You know, how does it relate to this season?
- 42:43Speaker 1: Some persons have gone as far as to limit their
- 42:47Speaker 1: awareness and see Quantita through the lens of just one
- 42:52Speaker 1: creator or one entity that is responsible for that. And
- 42:55Speaker 1: I always acknowledge those that have contributed to the Kanza
- 43:01Speaker 1: observances and for those in the room that may not
- 43:04Speaker 1: be as familiar. Kwanza is a celebration of the first fruits,
- 43:12Speaker 1: of the first fruits and the harvest. It is grounded
- 43:15Speaker 1: in being Guzo tsava the seven principles of Kwanza that
- 43:21Speaker 1: are for day one and it's honored from the December
- 43:24Speaker 1: twenty sixth through January first, with Day one December twenty sixth,
- 43:33Speaker 1: being the principle of Eumoja, which is in Swahili unity.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Day two, the twenty seventh of December is Kujijagulia self
- 43:46Speaker 1: determination three is the principal. The twenty eighth of December
- 43:56Speaker 1: is the principle of Ujima collective work and responsibility. The
- 44:02Speaker 1: twenty ninth. Day four is the principle of Ujama cooperative economics,
- 44:11Speaker 1: a favorite to many. Day five December thirtieth Nia Purpose
- 44:27Speaker 1: Day sixth December thirty first Kuumba Creativity Day seventh, the
- 44:38Speaker 1: last day of Kwan's observances January one, Emani Faith. So
- 44:49Speaker 1: again you're going from unity to self determination, to collective
- 44:54Speaker 1: work and responsibility, to cooperative economics, to purpose, to creativity, to
- 45:00Speaker 1: faith in seven days after this same season of moving
- 45:06Speaker 1: from the winter solstice, acknowledging light in the awakening persons
- 45:12Speaker 1: and many of the parts of the world honoring Christmas,
- 45:16Speaker 1: the birth of the Sun, of the Almighty, the illuminated one. Right,
- 45:23Speaker 1: they are masses services around the planet. Some persons use
- 45:29Speaker 1: it as a time for family, community and humanity. However,
- 45:36Speaker 1: you're acknowledging we encourage persons to really look at these
- 45:40Speaker 1: things through that lens. Because Kwanza is a celebration of
- 45:44Speaker 1: as I said, the first routs. It has its ancestral
- 45:48Speaker 1: roots throughout the African world, in the continent, the diaspora,
- 45:53Speaker 1: and most persons will hear about the first fruits of
- 45:57Speaker 1: these terms in spaces like Tanzania, Mozambique, Uganda and Kenya
- 46:05Speaker 1: and Zimbabwe, and it's grounded in a Pan African or
- 46:09Speaker 1: global African principle of the first fruits and honoring family,
- 46:15Speaker 1: community and humanity.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 46:18Speaker 1: So it's important and I use this particular piece I
- 46:21Speaker 1: encourage persons if you don't know anything about Puanta and
- 46:25Speaker 1: you are a celebrant during the season of various holidays,
- 46:28Speaker 1: there is a wonderful film that was done. Yeah, it's
- 46:33Speaker 1: been over a decade by Mka Sante the second it
- 46:39Speaker 1: is called the Black Candle. Again. You can go on
- 46:42Speaker 1: YouTube and find that particular film, but it's good to
- 46:46Speaker 1: have your own clean copy to share. Some persons can
- 46:49Speaker 1: know a little bit. Plus some of the narration that's
- 46:53Speaker 1: offered by doctor Maya Angelo is pretty lovely, right, but
- 46:58Speaker 1: I think it's important to know that. And I quote
- 47:01Speaker 1: this is from doctor m Foudischi Hassan Tequesalin Jihudinus of
- 47:08Speaker 1: Black Gold Press. He has a publication called Spiritual Warriors
- 47:13Speaker 1: or Healers, and it's important for persons to look and
- 47:18Speaker 1: see quote. Kwanza was not the name that was used
- 47:23Speaker 1: by these societies for their first Fruit celebrations. As such,
- 47:28Speaker 1: the first fruit celebrations in ancient keemit was called pert
- 47:32Speaker 1: and men, the coming forth of men among the Zulu Umkosi,
- 47:38Speaker 1: among the Swazi in Kuala, among the Matavli in Kuala,
- 47:46Speaker 1: among the Songa Luma, among the love Tegule, among the Ashanti,
- 47:52Speaker 1: Afapie or Oduiro, among the Yuruva, Asia, Oro, Nongin or
- 47:59Speaker 1: olun Igs. And again ending quote vis is coming from
- 48:04Speaker 1: doctor Infandici's work. Spiritual Warriors or Healers, another publication you
- 48:09Speaker 1: can look for to learn at least the five values
- 48:13Speaker 1: and practices central to African First Fruits celebrations honored around
- 48:18Speaker 1: this time, usually from the autumn season all the way
- 48:23Speaker 1: into the opening of winso right, and those practices that
- 48:30Speaker 1: form the development of kwanza as it's acknowledged in specifically
- 48:35Speaker 1: in the forty eight contiguous, but now in the world
- 48:38Speaker 1: or many significant parts of the world where African consciousness
- 48:43Speaker 1: and celebratory ceremonies are honored, and that is these five
- 48:49Speaker 1: values and principles of the African First fruits harvesting, reverence, commemory,
- 49:02Speaker 1: recommitment and celebration. I'm Gonna save those again. Harvesting, reverence, commemoration, recommitment,
- 49:14Speaker 1: and celebration. I encourage persons to look at some of
- 49:19Speaker 1: those things. I will definitely be posting some older links
- 49:23Speaker 1: in our other platforms because it's important for persons to
- 49:27Speaker 1: just be comfortable to have these types of conversations. I
- 49:31Speaker 1: know I've covered a lot of different areas tonight, and
- 49:34Speaker 1: it wasn't as if it was conversational. But I'm rerely
- 49:38Speaker 1: having a conversation with each and everyone that's tuned in listening,
- 49:43Speaker 1: taking a moment, whether you are desirous to hear or not.
- 49:49Speaker 1: And I'm really giving thanks for having the opportunity to
- 49:55Speaker 1: share little snippets of words soundpower that provide grace and
- 50:02Speaker 1: joy and peace and mercy. I am always grateful when
- 50:08Speaker 1: I see that our families are willing to gather and
- 50:18Speaker 1: use this as a time of joy, use this as
- 50:22Speaker 1: a time of peace, and use this as a time
- 50:27Speaker 1: of harmony. And like I always tell persons in general,
- 50:34Speaker 1: may you be blessed abundantly with joy, prosperity. What we
- 50:43Speaker 1: say afur join abundant life, strength, health, wellness, prosperity for
- 50:50Speaker 1: eternity and for any of the errors, any of the
- 50:57Speaker 1: missteps that I or others in our tribe have done,
- 51:03Speaker 1: we ask for recognition and understanding. And how do we
- 51:09Speaker 1: say we forgive those that trespast against us as we forget? Yes,
- 51:14Speaker 1: that one that people say that we don't always live
- 51:18Speaker 1: by and do so we definitely honor that during this
- 51:23Speaker 1: time of joy, peace, prosperity, and abundant a God they love.
- 51:31Speaker 1: May your families be blessed in abundance. And I say
- 51:35Speaker 1: our families, may me correct myself, May our families be
- 51:39Speaker 1: blessed in abundance. There are so many wonderful activities happening.
- 51:45Speaker 1: There's quansa celebrations literally happening all around the world. People
- 51:50Speaker 1: are using its time to honor whether it's Christmas, Festival
- 51:55Speaker 1: of Lights, some people are honoring various fasting you know,
- 52:00Speaker 1: veris fasting and ceremonies that we don't even always have
- 52:05Speaker 1: the proper names for. And I really encourage our sisters
- 52:11Speaker 1: and brothers in earshot to authentically and lovingly most lovingly
- 52:22Speaker 1: speak truth is power and give thanks for all of
- 52:27Speaker 1: the grace that we've been given this time and for
- 52:30Speaker 1: all of us that have had ancestral transitions impacting our families.
- 52:38Speaker 1: You know, like maybe keep our heart as light as feather,
- 52:41Speaker 1: you know this has been a challenging time for many
- 52:44Speaker 1: of our families. I know just recently, well in recent months,
- 52:49Speaker 1: you know, losing our matriarch to our family and then
- 52:52Speaker 1: losing the matriarch that survived her in less than a
- 52:55Speaker 1: month after that has been very challenging. So we send
- 52:59Speaker 1: a lot of light to Dounia Ulaly and Dounia unite
- 53:04Speaker 1: my mother and my aunt, you know, and we send
- 53:07Speaker 1: that love and mercy to all those that have had
- 53:11Speaker 1: similar passings. I sent a special shout out and prayerful
- 53:15Speaker 1: love of strength and heart lightning strength to my sisters
- 53:20Speaker 1: Doctor Cheapo on the transition of her beloved mother, Queen
- 53:25Speaker 1: Mother Lucy, and I send the same to Queen Mother
- 53:29Speaker 1: Yvonne as she made her ancestral transition recently, the mother
- 53:35Speaker 1: of one of our beloved daughters, and sister Queen's Blackness.
- 53:40Speaker 1: And I say these things so that you have the names.
- 53:44Speaker 1: So whatever you celebrate during this time, bring joy and
- 53:47Speaker 1: peace to the world so that we can get ready.
- 53:51Speaker 1: Twenty twenty six promises to be a very engaging time,
- 53:56Speaker 1: and we have a choice either We're going to be
- 53:59Speaker 1: moving abundantly, drawing prosperity, love, peace and greatness beyond measure, Mmmm,
- 54:09Speaker 1: that it will be more the same. Which will you choose? Again?
- 54:14Speaker 1: Who join prosperity? Peace? Remember when we speak of our speaks,
- 54:25Speaker 1: we're speaking of ancient, ancestral sacred traditions being brought into power.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Love again, have a blessed season. Make sure you join
- 54:36Speaker 1: us on the thirty first. You're going to get to
- 54:37Speaker 1: see all of the hosts from the Crew podcast thirty first.
