- 0:00So we've got some great passages to talk about.
- 0:02Today we're going to talk a little bit about a section in
- 0:05Paper 65 called The Urantia Adventure and it's good to be
- 0:10back. I took a bit of a hiatus and
- 0:12we'll get under the way with some feedback on some listener
- 0:14e-mail coming up as well. And also a promotion of
- 0:18something very exciting that's coming soon to Urantia Radio
- 0:21Podcast. So stay tuned.
- 0:35You're listening to the sound of Sagittarius and an energy burst
- 0:40that our satellites have picked up in recent months.
- 0:55Welcome to another edition of the Urantia Radio Podcast.
- 0:59My name is Jim Watkins. It's good to have you here.
- 1:01It's been a little bit of time. I always apologize because
- 1:04there's just never enough time in the day to get to these
- 1:08podcasts. And I love.
- 1:09It's one of the few real joys that I have in my life is being
- 1:12able to share the Urantia Book. So welcome one, welcome all.
- 1:16This is, of course a a podcast that dedicates itself to trying
- 1:21to understand the Urantia Book, examining it.
- 1:25You know, I've read it for so many years, so many decades, And
- 1:28every time I read passages for the 50th time, for the 7th time,
- 1:34whatever it is, I always gain some kind of increased wisdom or
- 1:39appreciation of the Urantia Book and what it's trying to say.
- 1:43And what is the Urantia Book trying to say?
- 1:45Well, it's saying that we're not alone.
- 1:48We have a very busy, busy universe.
- 1:50We are part of such an A tremendous, tremendously
- 1:54important project, the emergence of the Supreme, and we all play
- 1:58a role in that. We are all we're, we're all
- 2:01God's children, even people who aren't religious.
- 2:04They're playing a role in the evolution of life itself, as
- 2:08ordained by the Father when he said be you perfect, even as I
- 2:11am perfect. And I know that a lot of people
- 2:14have challenges when it comes to that.
- 2:16And today I tell you there's so much ideological confusion
- 2:20around and, and I agree, there's a lot of tension right now,
- 2:24especially with this silly war that's breaking out.
- 2:28Again, lack of diplomacy, lack of true wisdom.
- 2:33You know, you learn a lot from the paper in the Urantia Book
- 2:36about government on a neighboring planet.
- 2:39And they illustrate the foibles that their planet has in the
- 2:43fact that there's, I think there's six continents or five
- 2:46continents and all but one are are basically savage, like
- 2:51they're they're far below the evolutionary path and there's
- 2:55just one continent that's actually doing it right.
- 2:58And the Urantia Book authors talk about the fact that even
- 3:02today in our world, there are emerging countries where the
- 3:06seeds of truth are planting and who knows where these countries
- 3:09will lead to. Now, 300 years ago, this country
- 3:13emerged with a unique concept, which was liberty.
- 3:18The idea of the individual being endowed by the Creator to have
- 3:23free free will and free and liberty.
- 3:25Liberty and free will go hand in hand.
- 3:29And it so happens that the Arrancha book also confirms that
- 3:33God has given us free will. God has to give us that choice
- 3:37to choose between good and evil. And so that's where we're at.
- 3:43That is the one of the fundamental focuses of this life
- 3:48is trying to achieve a moral balance and and seek perfection
- 3:53on some level. Whether it's in our careers
- 3:56where we're trying to be as good as we can be in that trade, or
- 4:00if we're an artist and we're constantly trying to perfect our
- 4:03artistry. If we're writers, we are
- 4:06constantly trying to write the perfect story.
- 4:09Scientists trying to find the cure to a disease.
- 4:13Everyone is in it to win it. You know, everybody has a stake
- 4:17in the game because we're all motivated by the desire to be
- 4:20better and it doesn't take a great religion.
- 4:24It's nice to have a great religion that expounds upon that
- 4:27truth in a million ways, which is why I enjoy the Uranja book
- 4:32so much. I'm free to follow the truth.
- 4:36As Jesus said in Paper 155 on the discourse of religion, we're
- 4:40free to follow the truth. Follow the truth where it leads
- 4:44and you can tell what the truth is.
- 4:46Because truth is tied together with beauty and goodness, those
- 4:51three divine principles. And you see them in all kinds of
- 4:55religions. Balun Gong celebrates something
- 4:58similar to this, Buddhism. Christianity has its own set of
- 5:03of principles that it's guided by.
- 5:06The Jewish religion has its principles, it's laws that it
- 5:11follows. So we're all on different paths,
- 5:14but we're headed toward the same goal.
- 5:18Perfection. Be perfect even as I am perfect.
- 5:22So we'll get to the paper here that I think kind of addresses a
- 5:27little bit about that, about the Urantia adventure and what
- 5:30possibly what we can glean from this paper.
- 5:33And you can check it out with me.
- 5:34It's Paper 65, section 4I also want to take a moment and thank
- 5:42profusely a couple of people, Brother Joshua Wilson, we
- 5:46haven't had him on in a while, but we will.
- 5:48But I've had some chatter with him on and off again and he's
- 5:52got some exciting things going on and so we'll talk to him
- 5:55probably in the in the weeks ahead.
- 5:58Also I want to get back on with Joel Garvin.
- 6:01We've got a lot of catching up to do with the whole UFO thing
- 6:04and and what's going on in that realm.
- 6:06Then also we want to thank April Helen for coming out of the
- 6:11program. April Helen is a delightful
- 6:14spirit, spirit filled person, and I really enjoyed her
- 6:17conversation. And we want to get back together
- 6:20in the weeks ahead and talk about more on the Supreme Being
- 6:24because she and I decided that was a that was an area that a
- 6:28lot of people would appreciate. I've heard it said by a lot of
- 6:32people that they may not believe in a personal God, but they do
- 6:36believe in a Supreme Being. And there's an important
- 6:39distinction between the two. And so we'll probably get
- 6:44together. And then also Gabriel Reinberg
- 6:46and his team, Rick Lyon, CFU is well underway and they're making
- 6:51tremendous project progress. And we're going to talk with
- 6:57them in a week or so about what is going on Center for Unity and
- 7:02their Jesus project. And they got some pretty
- 7:05interesting things that we'll get into.
- 7:07So that's all coming up and then I'll also want to give out the
- 7:10e-mail address whichisurantiabookradio@gmail.com
- 7:15and the website is still there, urantiaradio.net.
- 7:19And so paper 65 in Section 4 and this is the section, I believe
- 7:25it's in part three of the book on the over control of evolution
- 7:31And and it talks about the features of human life that
- 7:38afford the evidence that the phenomena of moral existence was
- 7:41intelligently planned. So you know, that's an argument
- 7:44that they have in in science today was, you know, is
- 7:48evolution natural? Does it just occur on its own
- 7:52spontaneous nature or is it intelligently controlled?
- 7:57Now if it's intelligently controlled, then that brings
- 8:01into existence a whole set of paradigms, which means that
- 8:05there are intelligences beyond our own that we don't have a
- 8:08good grasp or understanding of. Because what kind of an
- 8:12intelligence could plan evolution?
- 8:15Well, what would be the factors involved?
- 8:17What? What intelligence?
- 8:19Numerous intelligences? Singular intelligence?
- 8:231 deity in charge of everything? Or many different sub deities
- 8:28perhaps that are given certain responsibilities.
- 8:31And the answer is all of the above really.
- 8:34Because we do have the primal force, which is the first source
- 8:37and center of all things, where all things of an energy level,
- 8:42spirit, energy, personality, circuits.
- 8:44All these things come from an original source, and so we can
- 8:48designate that as God if we choose.
- 8:50If God becomes the symbol of that initial primal force that
- 8:57that has omnipresence everywhere.
- 9:00Measurable by energy, by the way.
- 9:03You know God's energy is infinite, but that doesn't mean
- 9:06it's it's complete. There's still potential, you
- 9:10know. This whole absolute sub absolute
- 9:15conversation is about actuals and potentials.
- 9:19God in potential is all of all of the above, but in actual he
- 9:24may only be partially complete and that's where the supreme
- 9:27Supreme Being comes in. But I'll spare you all of that,
- 9:30because this is much more interesting, and it reads from
- 9:33Paper 65. And it also makes the same
- 9:36point. Many features of human life
- 9:38afford abundant evidence that the phenomena of mortal
- 9:42existence was intelligently planned, that organic evolution
- 9:45is not a mere cosmic accident. When a living cell is injured,
- 9:54it possesses the ability to elaborate certain chemical
- 9:58substances which are empowered so to stimulate and activate the
- 10:03neighboring normal cells, that they immediately begin the
- 10:08secretion of certain substances which facilitate healing
- 10:12processes in the wound. And at the same time, these
- 10:16normal and uninjured cells begin to proliferate, they actually
- 10:21start to work creating new cells to replace any fellow cells
- 10:26which may have been destroyed by the accident.
- 10:29So for an example, you get yourself cut on the arm and the
- 10:33arm instantly kicks into action on a cellular level.
- 10:37All of these cells in that area begin to proliferate and replace
- 10:41the injured cells. So what they're saying is that
- 10:43process in and of itself proves that the universe is not
- 10:47accidental. That isn't intentional.
- 10:51And it was designed to carry out a certain function.
- 10:54You know when you think about when you walk around in your
- 10:56daily life and you see, so just for example, when we were
- 11:00traveling recently, think about all the different people and
- 11:03what their jobs are. You've got people who fly the
- 11:06plane, You've got people who clean the plane, you've got
- 11:08people who build airports to facilitate the planes.
- 11:13You have all of these independent operators, but
- 11:15they're all really working towards one same common goal.
- 11:19And that's a trait that should convince all of us that life is
- 11:24intelligently controlled. We are all intelligent and we
- 11:27are all part of a process. And yet, unconsciously almost,
- 11:31it does seem as if everybody instinctively knows what to do
- 11:36and what path to take to get to the point where you can be a
- 11:39functioning part of society and you have energy workers, people
- 11:44who set up the electrical lines. And and there are, there are
- 11:48parallels to this in The Mirage world, where heaven takes place
- 11:55only in that realm, the realm to come, these beings are created
- 12:00for the specific purpose of carrying out.
- 12:02So for example, you have, somebody was telling me today
- 12:05that there are entities that control the black holes
- 12:11personality, beings that are created specifically to have
- 12:14that ability to manage and redirect large amounts of
- 12:19energy. Power center directors, that's
- 12:21what they're called. And these power center directors
- 12:25are able to manipulate the energy of the Suns, that's how
- 12:29much, that's how much influence they have over that particular
- 12:32element of reality. And only recently.
- 12:36And the reason I bring this up is because there was an article
- 12:38that came, I think you could find it on science.com and it
- 12:43talks specifically about how they're discovering that these
- 12:46black holes, these dark islands of space as described in the
- 12:49Orantia book are actually holding the sun's in a
- 12:54gravitational tug, almost like a smoke that's that's keeping
- 12:59within its grass. Just like the sun, our sun keeps
- 13:02our planets in grass, but on a much grander level, much, much
- 13:06larger level. Can you imagine that that they
- 13:09have beings that actually do that for a living or they are
- 13:13created for that particular purpose?
- 13:15How much power that would entail So that that in itself is
- 13:23demonstrable in the same way that a cell seeks to repair
- 13:28itself when it's been injured, but on a much smaller micro
- 13:32level, the the chemical actions and reactions concerned in wound
- 13:37healing and cell reproduction represents the choice of the
- 13:41life carrier Suns of a formula embracing over 100,000 phases
- 13:47and features of possible chemical reaction and biologic
- 13:51repercussions. So they're saying that the
- 13:54process of the the healing cell was intentionally chosen out of
- 13:59100,000 different ways of doing something, and it features a
- 14:04possible chemical reaction and biological or biologic
- 14:08repercussion. More than half a million
- 14:11specific experiments were made by the life carrier Suns in
- 14:16their laboratories before they finally settled upon this
- 14:19formula for the urantial life experience or experiment.
- 14:22Sorry, when Urantia scientists know more about these healing
- 14:27chemicals, they will become more efficient in the treatment of
- 14:30injuries and indirectly they will know more about controlling
- 14:34certain serious diseases. So that's a prophetic statement
- 14:39when they're saying when we know more about these healing
- 14:41chemicals, how to manipulate them, we can make them so that
- 14:44they can actually prevent or cure or control certain serious
- 14:49diseases. And this book was written in
- 14:511935, published in 1955 and we have recently, in the last 15
- 14:56years now have discovered the power of immunotherapy.
- 15:01And immunotherapy is a way of instigating cells into healing
- 15:08agents and they use it in some cancer prevention and some other
- 15:13diseases as well. Immunotherapy, look it up.
- 15:16That's what they're talking about here.
- 15:18So since the life or since life was established on Urantia, our
- 15:23world life carriers have improved this healing technique
- 15:27as it has been introduced to another Satania world in that it
- 15:32affords more pain relief and exercises better control over
- 15:37the proliferation capacity of the associated normal cells.
- 15:41So the what they're saying is since they've established this
- 15:44improved technique here, they've also taking it to other worlds
- 15:49that are also on an evolutionary path.
- 15:51Now that's that's a that's a great thing because it's saying
- 15:54so many different things. There's so many kernels of
- 15:57wonderful truth in that one paragraph.
- 15:59Number one, it establishes that there are personalities
- 16:02involved, life carriers who improved a way of cells healing
- 16:09on our world that was beneficial to other worlds where they have
- 16:13human beings assumingly just like us that get diseases.
- 16:17And so it expands not just the achievement made here, but it
- 16:22applies it to the entirety of the system which expands our
- 16:27world view or galactic view if you will.
- 16:30Isn't that amazing? So there's on so many levels
- 16:35their writings carry so many different morsels of truth.
- 16:39It goes on and says there were many unique features of the
- 16:41erantial life experiment, but the two outstanding episodes
- 16:45were the appearance of the endonic race prior to the
- 16:49evolution of the six colored peoples and the later
- 16:53simultaneous appearance of the sangick mutants in a single
- 16:58family. So kind of stop right there
- 17:01saying 2 unique features of our world that are different from
- 17:04other worlds. Number one, there was a race of
- 17:08intelligent human beings prior to the evolution of the colored
- 17:13races and most worlds. When they have it is when they
- 17:17have the colored races that the advanced human species shows up.
- 17:23So based on my limited knowledge of archaeology, what I can tell
- 17:27you is this. The endonic race appears to be
- 17:30the Denisovans. You hear about the Denisovans or
- 17:34Denisovans and they are they are an old that goes back 750,000
- 17:41years. They believe that that race.
- 17:43Our current scientists believe that Denisovans, Denisovans or
- 17:47Desonovans I think but they are pre colored race.
- 17:52They were they were pre Neanderthal.
- 17:55According to the latest scientific evidence which
- 17:58concurs with the Urantia book, the Urantia book just has a
- 18:01different name for them. They call them the endonic race
- 18:04because Andon and Fonta were the 1st 2:00.
- 18:08The six colored races didn't appear until 1/2, a million
- 18:12years later, and it also appeared after the Neanderthal.
- 18:16So there was an inter intermediary race, the
- 18:20Neanderthals. We have the Denisovans, then the
- 18:23Neanderthals, then the modern humans, the modern homo sapiens,
- 18:27and there was one further advancement and that was with
- 18:31the Adamites. So of course there are other
- 18:34chapters that deal with all of that, but that's basically
- 18:37basically the lineage and it is consistent.
- 18:41The Urantia Book description, while the names are different,
- 18:44is consistent with this timeline.
- 18:48The Urantia is the first world in Satania where the six colored
- 18:51races sprang from the the same human family and they were the
- 18:56Sanguigs. And there are chapter dedicated
- 18:59to what happened to that colored race family.
- 19:01It's a fascinating chapter they write.
- 19:05They ordinarily arise in diversified strains from
- 19:08independent mutations within the pre human animal stock and
- 19:11usually appear on earth one at a time and successfully over long
- 19:15periods of time, beginning with the Redman and passing on down
- 19:19through the colors to the indigo.
- 19:22So a normal worlds outside of our own.
- 19:25The colored races appear over time.
- 19:28So first there are red men that or or humans that have red skin
- 19:33that are born and then after that it's orange and then blue
- 19:36and yellow and then on all the way down to the Violet race.
- 19:40But on our world it all started at the same time and it was from
- 19:44one family. On an ordinary inhabited world a
- 19:48planetary Prince would have been granted on the request of the
- 19:52life carriers at or sometime after the appearance of hand on
- 19:56and Fanta. But Urantia having been
- 19:58designated a life modification planet, it was by pre agreement.
- 20:03That the Melchizedek Observers 12 in number, were sent as
- 20:07advisors to the life carriers and as overseers of the planet
- 20:12until the subsequent arrival of the planetary Prince.
- 20:16These Melchizedeks came at the time, Andon and Fanta made the
- 20:20decision which enabled thought adjusters to undwell their
- 20:24mortal minds and hence the spirit fragment of the Father.
- 20:28And I'm, I'm, I'm adding this entered into the minds of human
- 20:32beings on our world, and it was a tremendously major event.
- 20:35It was a demarcation. But they're saying here that the
- 20:39in normal circumstances, when the mind or the spirit fragment
- 20:43of the Father enters the human mind, the thought adjuster, that
- 20:47is when the planetary Prince arrives with his staff and thus
- 20:50begins the the instruction if you will, the training of human
- 20:55beings towards more progressive evolutionary levels, if that
- 21:00makes any sense. Your world is the only planet in
- 21:04Satania where the human type of will appeared in a pre colored
- 21:09race. And the ancestors of this pre
- 21:13colored race, according to the Urancho book, are the Eskimos.
- 21:16So, and it concludes with this, But in our effort to provide for
- 21:20the combination and association of inheritance factors which
- 21:24finally gave rise to the mammalian ancestors of the human
- 21:28race, we were confronted with the necessity of permitting
- 21:31hundreds of thousands of other and comparatively useless
- 21:35combinations and associations of inheritance factors to take
- 21:39place. Many of these seemingly strange
- 21:43byproducts of our efforts are certain to meet your gaze as you
- 21:48dig back into the planetary past.
- 21:50And I can well understand how puzzling some of these things
- 21:54must be on the limited human viewpoint.
- 21:58And what they're talking about are transition species.
- 22:01We see a lot of these in nature. We also have transition
- 22:04transition organisms that became more parasitical than they
- 22:08anticipated, which is why we're plagued with so many different
- 22:11diseases. It also states that many of
- 22:14these diseases, parasitic in nature are from the vegetative
- 22:17strain which may aid, and I think it does aid in a lot of
- 22:22our medicines, so on so many levels, obviously.
- 22:26That's such a great excerpt from the Urantia Book, and it says a
- 22:30lot. It says a lot.
- 22:31It says that our our existence is intelligently planned and
- 22:36intelligently guided. It gives a time frame.
- 22:39And it also talks about at the end there.
- 22:42It talks about we are puzzled by a lot of what we see.
- 22:45And it's true. I mean, you know the standing
- 22:48scientific, the true hypothesis is that human beings came from
- 22:52Africa and it's because primarily we have Lewis Leakey
- 22:56and his discovery of Lucy, the 3 million year old fossil from
- 23:01somewhere in Central Africa. And that could very well be one
- 23:05of many species that that emerged through that period of
- 23:092,000,000 years when the mid mammals first arrived and then
- 23:13eventually Anton and Fonta a little less than a million years
- 23:16ago. But one thing that is agreed
- 23:18upon is that the Homo Sapien did appear at about a million years
- 23:22ago and we have continued to advance.
- 23:25We continue to advance, we continue to evolve.
- 23:28But they say that the number of races is done.
- 23:31We have what we have and this is all we have to deal with.
- 23:35And maybe in future episodes we'll go into the
- 23:38characteristics of each of the different races that emerge from
- 23:42the single Sankig family. Because it's a fascinating
- 23:45story, and a lot of it is relative to some of the
- 23:48behaviors that we see today between the different cultures
- 23:51in the world. It explains a lot about China.
- 23:54It explains a lot about the Blue Man and how the Blue Man with
- 23:59the admixture of the Nodites and later the Atomites emerged into
- 24:04the Caucasians, how the atomite blood made it through all the
- 24:09different races in the world and what contributions it made to
- 24:12each of the races. So it's fascinating to read
- 24:15about it. We'll get to some of that
- 24:16because I I am personally, I've always had a little
- 24:19anthropological bug in me wonderful to have you and I hope
- 24:23you'll share these podcasts and we have a lot to talk about
- 24:27regarding the revelation in in episodes to come where I want to
- 24:30get into what is our role as receivers of this revelation and
- 24:36and what's our unified purpose. What are we trying to do?
- 24:39Is it just spreading the teachings or something more?
- 24:42So We'll get into that subject in future episodes here on the
- 24:46Rancher Radio Podcast. My name is Jim Watkins and I
- 24:48appreciate you so much and feel free to communicate with us
- 24:52uranchybookradiogmail.com.
