- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: What if YouTube didn't feel like a guessing game?
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: What if YouTube was a confident strategy for you and your business?
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: Whether you're a business owner, CEO, a creator, however you classify yourself, I'm here to tell you this video, will make you feel like YouTube has never been easier than before.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: So if YouTube builds hard, if you feel like you're still trying to crack the code, we're going to be giving away the 1, 2, 3 step on YouTube's success.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be covering mastering YouTube.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be covering monetizing YouTube, and I'm going to be covering the mindset of YouTube.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: These are all three things that matter so much, and why should you listen to me?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: You should listen to me because I have amassed millions of subscribers on this platform through various different contexts.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: I've been on this platform for over 20 years.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: I started in high school and then I started working with a team called Think Media which now has over 3 million subscribers.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: I have a gold plaque hitting, hanging outside my office and then I started essentially from scratch just a few years ago and at the time of recording this video or going live right now we're actually live.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: We're at over 185,000 views, not playing the hacks, tricks game on YouTube, but really just applying the principles.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what I do.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: I teach the principles behind YouTube so that the principles would just work for you.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: But if we've never met, my name is Omar Al-Tacori.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: And this is the department I got with me, my co-hostsart.mp4.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's good to be live.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: We're live and which means we'll take some questions for those that are in the chat right now.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: Another reason, or I would say another,
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: Just to give you why you should listen to is YouTube has made me a multi-millionaire.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: I have not only seen YouTube make me money directly for my own personal business, but when I was creating as a, I mean, they call it UGC, a user-generated content creator for a brand and company called Think Media.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: We probably, I was a part of making over $10 million off the platform, whether that was through Brandeals, affiliates, sponsorships, YouTube monetization with Google paying us.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: And just a few short years ago, it was around 2023, I felt like it was
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: My time to kind of just start uploading on this channel here and I chose a podcast and we'll get into that later But this is the department.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: If you're a business owner if you want to learn how to build your personal brand Make money online.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: This podcast is for you
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: But I want to let you know first what what is this and what this isn't okay, okay, so this isn't some Creator spotlight vid IQ Let me just read the Google dot com updates on what's happening on YouTube.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what this is This is not just oh here's the new time watch hours, which I'll I'll talk about but like those things are just to distract you all these Oh, you know, you creators can't get monetized until you get a hundred million views like
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: All that stuff doesn't matter when you do YouTube this way.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: So what, what's up?
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in art.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, let's get into it.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to be alive and talk about, yeah, all these things.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I came in with the golf it because I wanted you guys to take me serious, okay?
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is not I am not some dorky creator.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: We're building real businesses.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: We're making real money.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: What were you going to say?
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, it's just cool how like you literally came in here with 3m.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: So let's get into it.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get into these 3m so we can make you ms. A.O.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: So first and foremost, if you're a low level person, you're not going to like this first part.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I want to raise up your standard.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't matter.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: You will learn that wealthy rich people always know that mindset.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: is number one.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: Your mindset on how you approach anything in life.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: If you realize that the only thing missing is the way you believe about a thing, then it'll change how you do something which will then affect the results.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: We were tempted to start with monetization because the truth of the matter is is most people quit on this platform because they're not making enough money.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's like the truth.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: But you're not making money because you have the wrong mindset.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like I just want you to know that.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: And so let's talk about some of these mindset, you gotta adopt this kind of mindset when you're approaching your YouTube strategy.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: And the first thing I want you to know is to know that YouTube is not a video platform.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's a packaging platform.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: YouTube is not a video platform.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: It is a packaging platform.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, when when we learn about social media online, a lot of the times YouTube gets coupled in to the conversation of Instagram and TikTok and Snapchat and LinkedIn and this blah blah blah blah.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then it's like, and YouTube, what the truth is is all those other platforms, they technically just serve you content without you deciding whether you want to watch it or not, your decision just becomes a scroll to the next and a scroll to the next.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: you're actually influencing a decision to be made.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: But I'll get into the tactics of how to make great videos and videos that people want to click and people want to watch.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: But I just want you to know that if you think that just making the videos that you're working so hard on is going to make it work for you,
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: The mindset is no.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: I need to get good at packaging.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: I need to develop the skill on how I'm wrapping the information of this video into a manner that is desirable to want to watch or click on.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: I guess you could say the approach, the mindset on YouTube is broad appeal, niche messaging.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: broad appeal needs niche messaging.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I come from a very practical advisory, or I give practical advice when it comes to YouTube.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why I like talking to business owners and educators and experts and people who've been in their industries for a very long time.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: But there's this concept called the Curse of Expert.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: And or even people who've built their business, like if you're passionate about what you sell or what you're creating or you feel like this is your
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes you think it's the most important thing, like your solutions, the most important thing, or your offer, you think your offer is your YouTube content and that's not the case.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: And a good example for YouTube being a packaging platform and not a video platform is, you know, there's someone in our coaching program, his name is Evan and he does treatment for men, but he does testosterone, yeah.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: and like a traditional entrepreneur like himself will think that he needs to make all videos around testosterone.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas, if he thought of YouTube more as like a top of funnel, and he had the mind, and he has the mindset, which we just got, we helped off the call earlier this week, and it's like, no, what conversations, what things problems desires that men want to learn about, that then this could be under.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I encourage them, why don't you start a podcast on men's health, like,
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: when you do it like that, then you won't run out of video ideas.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: This is why it's so important to have the right mindset because if I ask you, okay, make 10 videos and then come back to me, but you run out of ideas at, you know, fifth episode in or three episodes in, and you're like, I don't know what else to talk about.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's because you're only focused on your product and what you're selling.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: think about the thing that leads people to the product and what you're selling.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: The truth is, if you do this the right way, your goal is to get massive exposure with the right audience.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: And then just a crum of that audience makes you a ton of money.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, do you think some of that could feel like clickbait, though, or some of the audience?
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: It is, it's called good clickbait.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: So like they're coming for the idea of men's health, say, and the solution is his solution which is testosterone replacement.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: Could that get repetitive?
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's because like the only thing
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: No, because in men's health, we could talk about physical health.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: We could talk about spiritual health.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: He can have, he can go into like the skills.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: He can interview authors.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like it doesn't have to literally connect to what you sell.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like, would you say last week's podcast with my friend that we had, which is doing really well?
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: I could have made that podcast about raising your prices.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: but we made the podcast about becoming a millionaire, or making your first million.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: Making your first million raise your prices.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: If we led with raise your prices, would that connect with make your first million?
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, so that's not clickbait.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's because it could have been make your first million starting online business.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Make your first million.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: become great at sales.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: Make your first million work up the corporate ladder.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like it could have been anything that the frame that I want people to go because I mean, I'm thinking about my friend Macy, she teaches sales to founders.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's her thing.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the thing she sells, but the stuff that would serve that is women in business,
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: fashion, communication, there are all these other things, and that's why when I say brought a peel, you should say when somebody asks you what your channel is about, it's a channel about business marketing.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: and then everything that entails that.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what entails business marketing?
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think some people might get brought appeal confused.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Just a little bit because brought appeal can feel like, okay, then I can talk about anything.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: But you're saying brought appeal in a niche with a niche focus.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, brought up Hill with a niche message.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: So you have to think about your messaging.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: So in this, this is, we'll get into the tactics of like how to actually take an idea and make it package dwell.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want, I'm just going on to go through the mindset because if you start thinking this way, it'll be healthy for you.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we'll just keep it going.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: How about that?
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: Um, the other,
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: mindset adoption you need is to know that your your attempt is to upload very long videos like if you want to win with YouTube shorts cool but if you YouTube shorts and even the thinking that oh if I get if I upload shorts that point to my lungs and then my lungs will turn into customers like when's the last time you went down that journey?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: Never.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: You never did that.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: So don't do that.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: I have not uploaded up to this point.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: Not saying I never will, but I have up to this point.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Strategically have only uploaded very long videos without shorts.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Now when I say upload long videos.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: And when I'm talking about mindset, which means you have to change the way you even prepare to deliver a video.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: You have to come with more to talk about and not be repetitive.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: you have to become a professional yapper, like myself, but when you say maybe stretching for people.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it would stay, it would work if you were good at it.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: But you're not good at it.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: So there's room for you to grow.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's a, you should be encouraged.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think when it comes to uploading you long videos, people say, okay, what's a long video?
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: Just take this as a good rule of thumb.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: I would never upload a video under eight minutes on YouTube I would never upload a video under eight minutes on YouTube when it comes to a horizontal long video
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: But the most competitive timeframe on YouTube is eight to about 18 minutes.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's the most competitive timeframe.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone, there's a, what does that mean?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: That means the majority of people uploading on this platform are uploading videos at that duration.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: Now, supply and demand.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: There are people who want videos that are longer than 25 minutes.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: There are people who want videos that are longer than 45 minutes.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: And if we're talking about human psychology and influence, being able to spend time with people for a longer period of time will increase the influence and impact you can have in a person or an audience or somebody in your audience.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: There are still human beings out there.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: Now, you might not be this kind of human being, but it would help to be this kind of human being.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: But there are human beings out there that don't want the hyper-edited and they want the conversational delivery or the, they want the teacher to just teach them.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: Classes in session, bro.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: They want the natural feel.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, where non-rushed, not algorithm.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm trying to say like forcing success via the algorithm, playing to the algorithm is what I'm trying to say.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot of what I feel on YouTube, but we're talking about mindset.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I just want you to know the mindset is to know that you're going to upload very long videos.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: preferably longer than 15 to 20 minutes.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: Omar, here's how you're going to do that.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to do that by starting to learn how to teach in threes.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: You're just going to come up with three things and bullet point those things out and then deliver it.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is so cool about YouTube.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: If you're committing to YouTube from a weekly upload standpoint, how much better of a communicator will you become?
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: if you actually prepare and do this up.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: How much would this serve the people that then pay you to hear from you?
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's what people are doing.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: They're consuming the stuff.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then they're thinking to themselves, I wonder what it would be like if I just paid this person.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you can create that feeling in a person's mind.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Another mindset shift when it comes to YouTube is that YouTube is a team sport.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: YouTube is a team sport tone, no one ever says this, but it's just like in sports where there might be a superstar or an all star on the team, but that all star is nothing without the support of their the four on the court.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Michael Jordan had the greatest four around him.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: Kobe Bryant had pougas all, like YouTube is a team sport, which means you need to trust other people with the process of making videos.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: Not just production-wise, although that is important, but also in pre-production.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: How are you ideating, talking through an idea of a video with somebody else?
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was going to say, I mean, just even on a coaching standpoint, like having somebody speak into your videos after the fact, not just pre but post.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: So you can make tweaks and you can like learn from.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: your analytics.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because I mean, you give so many people in your group, you know, inside on YouTube.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, some of the valuable.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: One of the favorite things we do is content hot seats.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: And so with the attempts you're making to get insight on your attempts so that you can get that 1% or you know how to get 1% better.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: Some people will just adopt like, oh, I'm going to get 1% better with every upload.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if you're growing in the wrong direction, then you're not growing.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: I guess this would be a good time.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: I've never sponsored the podcast with if you are serious about growing on YouTube and your business owner and you believe in the profitability of having a brand on this platform and or you see the financial opportunity to make more money Then fill out the application to work with us and somebody on the team will call you now
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not a fan.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even gonna go there.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: Just if you're serious if that if that moment spoke to you Fill the application and we'll have somebody reach out to you But yeah, like having and also a just community do you have a text group give a text group around your YouTube Approach or a text group around your YouTube plan
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: When it comes to even using a team, you know, some of the the biggest misconception you might make no matter what level you're at in your business is thinking that you have to honestly invest into the equipment and buy the equipment, learn how to use the equipment, learn how to edit the video and just do it all yourself.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: There was a girl in our program within the last year.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: Her name was Jasmine Mays, and she's a fitness creator.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: And she makes great fitness content for women over 40.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: And she absolutely crushes that.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: She has almost a million followers on Instagram.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: And she has hundreds of thousands of followers on YouTube.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: And then in the middle of her year inside of the coaching program, she said, I want to do a podcast.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, I want to do a podcast called Single In Saved.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: That is broad, but has a niche message, just even that concept, single and save.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: So then her question was like, so what do I do?
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: Just like, do I invite people into my house with like, and what should I buy?
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: And there's nothing wrong with owning the equipment, but I, but if delivering the message and showing up on camera, if you could put more energy into that, then just go to a local content or podcast studio.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: And that's when I told her, I was like the fastest way for you to actually launch your podcast is to just rent a studio and start and relinquish the production side of your process to someone else.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: And here's the crazy thing.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: It is actually more cost effective 100 it's cheaper.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: and it's not only cheaper from a speed standpoint but from an energy standpoint.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: Big difference.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like have you ever done all you it took you two hours to set up the shot and then once you hit record you're like I don't even want to shoot no more.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: That's just the truth.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I want you to know YouTube is a team sport okay we're talking about mindset here.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Now when it comes to the overall
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: perspective of your channel.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is it.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is very important because it's flipped at one point.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: Just a very few short years ago.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: YouTube was very a library and archive first.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: important.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: You would prioritize the library of your videos as opposed to the singular uploads.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's important, this is about mindset.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: So in the past, you would think of your YouTube channel as like, and I'm not saying to not, I'm just saying it's not the priority of your mindset is that in the past, you would consider your YouTube uploads as a collective piece of like a body of work.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: So it's almost like every upload you made, you were adding to your library.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that makes sense.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm tracking.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: The algorithm has changed, where it is really just singular upload dependent.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: You should less about your library, even though it's still important, like I mean, having the body of work of a YouTube channel where someone can go and just binge your videos, of course, this is all important, but your focus should always be on the upload, not the
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: because now anyone can make it with a breakthrough video, like you, you can have a singular video that breaks through, but if you are somebody who dwells on like the,
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: the library of the thing, then you'll just, you'll probably miss the opportunity for mass exposure.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I, I'm, I'm saying this because one of our friends, his name is Neil Dingra, who's in the real estate industry, and he has a podcast.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: And he was hyper discouraged.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: after shooting a podcast, he thought would actually cook for the older people.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: He shot a podcast.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: He thought would really well.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: Crush.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, there's a crush on you better.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: But how many times have you worked, you know, you felt in your intuition?
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is like the nature of the game.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: You felt like, man,
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: that should have performed a lot better.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's okay.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we're kind of all there.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: In some aspect, there's a level of that at every level.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: No one is 100% sure about anything when it comes to this stuff.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: However, I said, yo, Neil, if that video got a million views overnight, you still got next week's upload.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: So like one of video flops, or if a video flourishes, you still have to get the next video out there.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: When a video flops, cause it's gonna happen.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, oh my goodness.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the club, Neil.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: So the reality is the video we did last week was a video that flourished.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_00]: It was a video that broke through.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's a video that cooked.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: And it's over a hundred thousand views a week after uploading it.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I wanted to ask you a question, I don't know if this is kind of sidetracked, but from your POV, what is the one thing that made that video flourish if there is one thing?
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's probably a multiple, I mean, it's a total package.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, but which, which all brings like a key thing.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the key thing is
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: The key thing is actually internal, more than it is external.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: And that is that I had a conversation with Myron Golden, who actually has a YouTube channel that is millions of little over a million subscribers.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: This so I think was our fourth or fifth conversation.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: So YouTube is re-delivering the video to a lot of people who watched our last video.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: And so, this is why it's so important to build the intuition that when you know something works, like did I know that the video was going to cook before we even cooked it?
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: And we actually saw that video after playing golf, we were tired, we were hungry, that's why it was on the shorter side.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I knew it was going to work, why?
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: Because of what worked in the past.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: So my friend Calum Johnson would say YouTube is like, is not like business, YouTube in business you learn from your losses.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: You learn from what didn't work.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: When it comes to YouTube, the reason why you need to be intentionally consistent is because you learn from what works.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: When something works,
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: Even though you didn't think it was, but it did, you have to allow that to inform the next thing.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: Got it.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: To the best of your ability.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's good.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if a video took off, follow it up, make a part two.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: And then do that until it kind of maybe dies down, but that's why it worked.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: It worked because we've already had others work.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: And then ultimately we delivered on the stuff, which is,
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: part of mastery so I'm getting that.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I just want you to know that YouTube is more about the singular upload than it is about the quote unquote body of work, but you should still
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Part of building your brand is connected to that body of work.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: But I'll even speak to my friend, Kayla Bralston, who hasn't uploaded a ton of videos on his YouTube channel.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: He's just uploaded very great, very long video.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's very intentional.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: Hyper-intentional, and it's put him on stages.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's given him more clients.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's built his email list.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's built his brand, yeah.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: So this is what I mean by like,
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: the singular upload is priority is priority over the library.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: Does that make sense?
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: 100.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: All right, especially for people who are just starting.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because you have more leverage that way.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: A big picture catalog will serve you.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the last thing I'll say when it comes to mindset and then we'll move into mastery is just
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: to pre-decide on your commitment.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: This, you know-one wins on YouTube, who tries YouTube.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like YouTube isn't something to try, it's something to do.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's like adopt the identity of being a YouTuber.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like I am a business owner, but I'm also a content creator.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not, I'm not shy, I'm not apologetic about that.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not, like,
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: I actually think CEOs who understand how to create content and have a personal brand is going to make their life on an opportunity standpoint so much more easier and it's the heavy lifting.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, today.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: We ran a webinar, did not promote it organically.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: We only promoted it through emails.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: It was a one-hour webinar.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_00]: And right now we're sitting at $65,000 from that webinar.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: pretty cool.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: This is called brand.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: This is called showing up.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: This is called helping people before they even pay you.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: And this is, uh, I know I said that was the last thing about mindset.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: The next thing about mindset is just give it all away.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like give the game away.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: There should be no
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: because people can feel it if you're holding back something.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: And this goes into sales and persuasion and psychology that your tone in delivery is less convicting.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's less believable.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: When you feel like you're holding something back, or when you are holding something back, there's something that people will pick up on.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I would I'd rather my content that we put on YouTube and Instagram and all over the place, but primarily YouTube to be a place where there is the only thing that is actually gated or guarded is just the time of the video.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, like, the time we have to make the video.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like that's what actually the limitation.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: I can imagine a lot of entrepreneurs and business owners, CEOs have a hard time committing with you too because it's a very big commitment and it's essentially like a gamble.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: They don't know if it's going to work.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: They don't know if it's going to take off, how long it's going to take.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: So what would you say to help that to help that feeling?
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like, don't make success in outcome that is outside of your control.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, I think about Myron.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's really good.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: When he was 59 years old, he's like, I'm going to give the next 10 years to YouTube.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: Regardless of what it does.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing it for me.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing it so I can grow in the skills.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing it because it's a time-consuming thing that
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: It seems to be a very smart thing to do, like what?
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: Dude, this is wild.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: Love Ron James.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: Launch a golf YouTube channel.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 29:04[SPEAKER_00]: Love Ron James launched a golf YouTube channel.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: for real?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: Kevin Hart.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I saw him.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: Longed a golf YouTube channel.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: And the director of the sixth sense, forget his name.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: I know if you're listening or watching, you know who I'm talking about.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: But he's probably one of the most prolific directors of all time launched a YouTube channel.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like why are these people who have money launching YouTube channels?
- 29:28[SPEAKER_00]: And they're doing it from a free, they're not doing it for anything in return, just to like give.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, the attention could be part of what you're getting.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: But to speak to that person, maybe it's you, the question that R.S., I would say just change your goal to be more about your growth internally, personally, team-wise, and also your communication skills.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: If you feel like it's time-consuming, then that means you have to spend time in preparation.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: So like, spend a little bit more time in preparation.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: I came up with this podcast that you're listening to right now,
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: in my shower.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even kidding shower thoughts like literally most most of the ideas or the frameworks and they come in the shower right when I get outside the shower I dry off and then I pull up my phone and then I just boom boom boom boom and you should if you become a person that there's so much in you then it just it will just flow but so your preparation before a video
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: And like even rehearsing in your mind, like you could tell this is not the first time I talked about this stuff, but I've also, it's not the first time I thought about this stuff.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: So it's something that you rehearse constantly.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same as like a, I think about it like a pastor or a preacher, right?
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: If you're a pastor of a church, you have to every week, you have to come up with a new message.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: But Sunday morning isn't the time to come up with a new message.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: Monday is the time to start writing the sermon in your head.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: maybe and then start jotting down thoughts on Tuesday and then start consolidating it Wednesday.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: And if you are a business owner, if you lead in any capacity, if you want to represent a lot of people or an influence and impact a lot of people, you must know that if you believe YouTube is not worth your time, that you actually have a skewed perspective on time itself.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: because in the year of 2025, this YouTube channel, uploading once a week, missing out a couple during the year, we amassed over 65 years of watch time.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: 65 years of time spent, consuming this podcast on this platform, uploading once a week.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_00]: So if someone says, it's not worth my time, I would say you have a poor concept of time.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: Because we are multiplying time.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: Shesh.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: There's just a stat on YouTube in the back end of your YouTube studio called the real-time views.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: And any given 24 or 48 hours, there are tens of thousands of people consuming the content.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: So, it doesn't matter if we golf, it doesn't matter if I'm selling something on a webinar, it doesn't matter if I go on vacation, it doesn't matter if I go on a business trip, the content is working for me.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's a manipulating time.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: When it's belating time, I'll also, someone brought up a good question, but we can answer at the end if you want, but we'll do it, let's take a break, that was mindset, we'll break it with this question and then we'll get into mastery.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: So, one said,
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, I just lost it over to go, the chat.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: Shh, where is it?
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: Someone said, go in on gatekeeping versus overteaching.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, which is like, that is a fine line, I feel, for something.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: What is the difference?
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to go into it now?
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: What is the difference between gatekeeping your content and overteaching in your content?
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, it, I actually believe it's not a fine line.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: I believe, I believe it's a more of an internal thing that you know, you feel in your heart, you're giving it all away.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_00]: But the more you understand the audience you are attempting to reach or the more you understand the people you are wanting to serve, the more, as a leader, you should know what they need to hear.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what people need to hear isn't always what you could talk about.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: There's a difference between that.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: So when I'm thinking about, sorry, when I'm thinking about making a teaching on a YouTube video like this, I'm thinking about what do you need to hear?
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: And within that, that becomes the guardrails.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: So over teaching is talking without the intention to connect with the individual, without the intention to influence a person into taking action.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: almost not speaking their language.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's not speaking their language.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's using industry jargon.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's showing processes that don't matter because people aren't doing a process for a reason and that's because they feel stuck.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: They don't, they're not stuck.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: They just feel stuck.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_00]: So what can you say to make them feel unstuck?
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's more a, that question doesn't come from a strategy standpoint.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_00]: That question is coming from a,
- 34:40[SPEAKER_00]: the ability to communicate and connect standpoint.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: So that's really good.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: If you think that gatekeeping is limiting information as opposed to structuring the information in a way that is digestible,
- 34:56[SPEAKER_00]: I would say level up your communication skills.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: So, great communicators typically don't over-teach because they understand what people need to hear.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: Because they maybe been there at one point before, maybe they do life with those people, maybe they currently help them right now.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_00]: a great example.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just go a very practical like a real estate example.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: So if I was doing real estate and I was selling homes and I had a YouTube channel or maybe I had a podcast on what it's like to live in Las Vegas and one of the podcasts that I was going to put together was buying your first home in Las Vegas.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: Now I can go through the process, I can teach on the process
- 35:42[SPEAKER_00]: Or I could talk about the neighborhoods and the best places to live and the experiences of what it's like, like that's that's more of like which one would resonate more.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: Which won't believe the second one.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and then with the second one, influence somebody to want to learn more about this stuff.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, which we can, so when you understand the context in which the information is received in, it should change the way you communicate whatever you want to say.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's great.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: Great question.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll get to the questions in a moment.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's go into mastery.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to break down here, I'm going to give you my two minute YouTube master class and then we'll go into the how, like how are you going to be able to actually how what makes a great video title, what makes a great video intro and things like that, okay.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: So take off the mindset hat and let's put on the mastery hat.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to give you the framework and formula for every single YouTube video,
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: and you're going to feel a lot more confident with every upload.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're working on a YouTube video, it starts with an idea.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: I am making a video about X.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now, that X must be a keyword.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_00]: It can't be theoretical and it can't be extra terrestrial.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: It should be very, it should be practical.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: I am making a video about, give me something.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: Golf.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm making a video about golf.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: And let's just say in particular, since we're, since we're, I got the fit dialed.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm making a video about, uh, about hitting straight drives in golf, right?
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: Now,
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: Taking an idea and then putting it through the YouTube Trinity.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: This is the framework of every successful YouTube video.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: Number one is having a good title.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: Number two is developing a great thumbnail.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: And number three is scripting your first 30 seconds.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: Title, thumbnail, first 30.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's why it's the YouTube Trinity.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: Now what makes a good YouTube title?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: A great YouTube title, I'll say it like this,
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: great YouTube titles read like article headlines is not an article headline you'll never open up no one opening up newspapers anyway you'll never open up Apple news and it say episode three the department golf that's that doesn't read like an article headline
- 38:37[SPEAKER_00]: Which is why one of the best things you could do is take the idea that you want to work on before you make the video and go on Google or go on chat GPT and search for articles around hitting a straight long drive.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually going to do that right now.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: I run the bug.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I literally was going to pull it.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Just how to, or another one, and now here, here, now we're in ideation phase.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's like, what are people are, a lot of people slice.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: How to stop slicing your ball.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_00]: But just read a few articles on Google and watch it.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_00]: I want, now I want you guys to think about these being YouTube videos.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: Check it out.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here's one, let me know if this is a good example.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: Did you, did you search, by the way, uh, driver, swing article or what, like, what did you search?
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: I search hitting straight drive and golf article.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, articles.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: One, uh, one that is solid is three things.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: Nellie Corda does the amateur should copy.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: three things nearly or is that two like that's two niche yeah because it's using a name yeah but but here's what you're getting you're getting inspiration on the format so like that's a title format three things professional golfers do that amateur's don't and then you know okay uh here's another one maybe um common shot off the T the slice has a solution
- 40:17[SPEAKER_01]: Common shot off the tee the slice has a look what these are terrible headlines Yeah, these are all by big golf news articles I mean this one's very direct how to hit the ball dead straight love that
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: how to hit the ball, dead straight, and then you could always, I'm not saying copy paste, these are to inform your video approach.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like, here's the thing, you would have probably made a video, but when you see that when you put in the title three things you're missing out on your drive, causing you to slice, now you're going to think about like, oh, okay, now I have something to run through when I'm actually filming it.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: This is where like the clarity and the congruency of your video idea.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_01]: What about this one?
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: Why can't, why you can't hit your driver as straight as your irons?
- 41:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, here's what I'm going to say.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to say, I think your Google search was a little bit too much.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_00]: So I put in.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_00]: So what do you hit driver articles?
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: Hit driver articles?
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: And here I got.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: Possibly the fastest way to hit driver straight and long.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: How to hit the driver further, add 20 yards
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: uh oh okay the five don'ts of hitting driver I also click the news tell you I'm gonna do that you just like who wrote just literally scroll go okay and we're looking at blogs yeah how to hit your driver with more consistency so that these I just all I searched was driver articles okay yeah
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: That one is really good.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you said, how to hit a driver farther at 20 yards and then the whisper seriously.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's so good.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm walking you through.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_00]: Now what's the next thing to do is to potentially
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: have in mind the thumbnail.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now, when it comes to your thumbnail, what is a thumbnail thumbnail is the image that you upload in accordance to your video.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: So, when you go on YouTube, you don't see videos.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: When you go on YouTube, you see images.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: And those images are strategic.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: Great videos have great thumbnails.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: What makes a great thumbnail?
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: What makes a great thumbnail is this simplicity of it and what it communicates.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: I always like to encourage people to never have more
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: the less you have, the potential stronger it is.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: Big face, big phrase.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: Big face, big phrase.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe in the golf swing, you might have, you probably could work with a little bit more like before and after, where you use note, there could be no text.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: It could just be like the first is like a slice.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: The next is just like a straight line or
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: or two people swinging, one has an X, one has a green check mark.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: And doing your research on videos you are currently going to make is very important.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: What I found is that people who are trying YouTube typically have more complex thumbnails than people who are pros at YouTube.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_00]: Go, like literally, think about your favorite creators or favorite YouTubers and look at their thumbnails.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: They are simple, they are very, very simple.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_00]: We have two faces or one face, a phrase with a yellow box.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we've been running that for a very long time.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: But just know that, like, that's what people are clicking on.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what influences a phrase because most people will make the mistake of putting the title of their video in their thumbnail
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, what you want to do is think about the person you're trying to reach and what's going on in their mind.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost, it's, I know, this, oh my, I just want to make videos.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, go upload videos and no one was going to watch them.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just telling you, if you want to win on this platform, this is how it works.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_00]: But you got to think about what's going through their mind.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: I even see this in the church base where like,
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: the teams or the team or the church will upload the sermon, the title of the sermon, the sermon series, and then the title of the sermon is in the thumbnail.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: What does this, what does this video, what does this message, what does this tutorial, what is it unlocking for people?
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: What is it communicating to people?
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: when I think about phrases like, why you're stuck, you know, something that's powerful that maybe a good frame of reference is a question phrase.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: We're using a question word like, why something is or what you got to do or or just giving away the actual unlock.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so like, if I'm, if I'm making it, if I have a sermon, and I'm tithaling it, don't be anxious for anything.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then the thumbnail, it should say, kill the anxiety.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's what the thumbnails should say.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_00]: The thumbnails should say,
- 45:28[SPEAKER_00]: uh, stop worrying.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: It should say why you are worrying.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: It should say, uh, let it go.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_01]: Think it's interesting that you are packaging it with the unlock, but it's still not the answer that the video is going to give.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Because I mean, you talk about that a lot, like where people make the mistake of packaging their videos on YouTube as the answer instead of the problem, because the problem is going to pull people in.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: yeah and and maybe the answer is prayer because like Philippians says don't be anxious for anything but instead through prayer and supplication make your request be made known to God and the piece of God that surpasses all understanding when God your heart and mind and Christ Jesus.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like prayer is the answer and maybe it hey this is why you this is where it really gets fun.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_00]: The thumbnail could say you're not praying enough.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: which is a way of giving the answer.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, it could say, start praying now.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not saying you can't, but I'm just trying to do it.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's a try to skill.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, I know people listening are watching.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, okay, so in my next video.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: And all I'm trying to do is I'm trying to save you the headache of wasting your time making videos that don't get the views they deserve.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_00]: Here's what I found about YouTube.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: YouTube is a goldmine of crazy information.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I actually, when I do my research on human beings, experts and thought leaders, and when they start YouTube, it's the best, because I know they're giving it all away, but no one's watching their stuff.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_00]: and it's because they don't understand how to package.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_00]: And it's because they don't, but I know what they're talking about and I know what I need because I'm a great extractor of value and information.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: But that's the thumbnail.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: Don't make it more than what it is.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: Literally, type in DOAC on YouTube, go-ac.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: And you tell me if the number one podcast or number two podcast in the world or whatever, if their thumbnails are complex.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's a black background with white text, red box two faces.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, once you find what works for you, something that's repeatable, what happens is it becomes your brand.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_00]: So like, and brand only is built over time.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: So when we first started our thumbnail look, it wasn't.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like, oh, there's the department.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_00]: Over time it's like, oh, there's the department.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: So just know that that doesn't happen until you decide that this is what you're gonna do it on You know, I mean, we started with the very thumbnail style like we have now For some of you guys that may not be the case, and it's okay to evolve and find yourself later But that just I think I do think it's over time you want to pick a color.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, and that color should not make it harder to read
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's just an accent that so like people can connect that color to your brand But that's the thumbnail.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, the the next part of the YouTube Trinity.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: I said two minute YouTube Masterclass.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, you.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, this is the one this is the last video You know where's deep well you're a deep well.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_00]: The third is your first 30 seconds Don't don't start a video don't start a talk don't start today.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_00]: I want to talk about like
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: welcome back to what the back of the channels if you haven't subscribed subscribe like what okay what you want to do with your youtube intros is you want to enroll people to for them to answer to themselves should I stay or should I go right now how do you enroll people how do you make people want to stay and watch the entire duration of your video
- 49:22[SPEAKER_00]: You do it through clarity, comprehension, and credibility.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: In the first 30 seconds of your YouTube video, you want somebody to know that the video they chose to click on, based on your title and your thumbnail, that they are in the right place.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're doing a video on,
- 49:50[SPEAKER_00]: And you start the video, and you're like, uh, today I want to talk about AI agents.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_00]: And which agent you should build in your business and how it can actually run.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: It had like, whoa, I thought this was a chat GPT for as a clot.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: So one way, one, I'm just going to give it to you.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: Just just learn to start your YouTube videos asking a question.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you, if your question could be like a knife stabbing somebody's rib because you're revealing or exposing a pain or frustration, there's a higher likelihood that they would stay.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_00]: So if we're doing a video on finances and it's starting to invest in stocks.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh snap.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: Are you someone who is watching people make tons of money online through stocks and you're thinking to yourself, man, where do you even start with this stuff?
- 50:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'd love to make $5,000 a day, $20,000 a day, $50,000 a day.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the truth is that you actually can, and it's not through Robinhood.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's like boom, like I'm speaking to the person.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's clarity.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_00]: I click on a video on how to invest for beginners.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm revealing the pain of a beginner.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_00]: Stock is like, I just want to make more money.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_00]: Doing a stocks and I don't understand.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: Then there's comprehension.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_00]: Comprehension is what you really want to do is you want to actually hire a financial advisor.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_00]: Whether that's through fidelity or whatever.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just speaking out of my whatever.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna say.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 51:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm also going to share with you my three step process, so that like fidelity thing or don't download Robinhood me saying that in the first 30 seconds is a form of comprehension they're getting something they're learning something in 30 seconds that they didn't know regardless depending on whatever you say so if so then then you're going to say I've been investing in stocks for the last 20 years and I was able to retire my entire family.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_00]: and set my kids up to be millionaires before their age 30.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: And in this video.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: don't you want to stay 100 now that's credibility these things could be said and you so I like think of your YouTube interest the only part I really want you to like really think through and then the rest you can bullet point out depending on however you like to create you know there are people that are literally reading scripts so they they pay script writers for user videos and there's nothing wrong with that that's just like in my opinion it's not going to help you become a better communicator
- 52:33[SPEAKER_00]: But that is essentially the YouTube Mastery Framework.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's the title, the YouTube Trinity, the thumbnail formula, and then the introduction formula.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_00]: If I believe if you hyper-obsessed over those parts, as opposed to the insides of your YouTube video, you can actually become more ranty.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you can become more conversational, sorry.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: You can become more conversational.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_00]: in your delivery.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_00]: I will encourage you to not be what's the word, like, don't beat around the bush and like talk in like talking circles, talking circles, don't throw in ad, don't say like none of that stuff, just just go straight to the point.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_00]: One of the biggest, I'm just going to give it away.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_00]: The reason why my podcast has done so well is because at the beginning of every conversation,
- 53:30[SPEAKER_00]: define something right away, define it.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: If the person's across from you, it has something to say about a topic, like by defining it, their way of defining it or the way you define something in forms, whether someone should trust you for the rest of the video or not, it's like, whoa, I never heard of it that way.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_00]: And so,
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: Take that for whatever it is and then so that's there's my YouTube little mini course right there.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: That was fire.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_00]: There's no other way to master YouTube, in my opinion, than by contributing on the platform and strategically and intentionally consuming on the platform.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_00]: There are very few people.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_00]: I know that win on YouTube, that aren't themselves a YouTube consumer.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean?
- 54:28[SPEAKER_00]: Most YouTubers that you love, they go home and they want YouTube.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: Most YouTubers, you love,
- 54:37[SPEAKER_00]: subscribe to YouTube premium.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_00]: Most YouTubers that you see and you appreciate are actually seeing what's working in other industries that they're interested in and then reapplying it to their industry.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_00]: Every time like, arts my witness, my friend Neil is my witness, I will screen shot of YouTube video that has like great packaging, I'm like shoot, this is fire.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: and I'll just send it like seven a.m. in the morning, um, and it's, and it's, because you get, you, you get to, uh, benefit from consuming it.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's kind of like the same principle of being in a foreign country.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: If YouTube feels foreign to you, then learn to speak its language and speaking YouTube, uh, what do you call it when you get free, uh, when you, we can say a language very well
- 55:33[SPEAKER_00]: Fluent Fluent.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_00]: Being, being YouTube Fluent will influence the success of your YouTube channel.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_00]: So just focus on one uploaded at a time.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, when it comes to like maybe, maybe we can speak a little bit to the production value as side of things.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I do think it's very important that you sound good and you look good.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_00]: Don't like something I've learned from being in coaching and stuff is essentially that everything about you communicates to people whether they should listen to you or not.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_00]: Everything.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_00]: Everything about you.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 56:16[SPEAKER_00]: Whether, like, look around, you're set up, look around, listen to your audio.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_00]: Do a test shot.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_01]: Get better.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, at the end of the day, the reason I didn't want to start with tactics is because if you just check off the box, but you, you are terrible at communicating, it just won't work.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, what does that mean?
- 56:40[SPEAKER_00]: That means you got to be, you got to be come good.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, have you ever watched a YouTube video that like it has a ton of views, great packaging, and you click on it and you're like, hey, this person sucks at talking.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, no, they're confident.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_00]: They're clear.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_00]: There's authority.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_00]: There's they're storytelling.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, they understand these facets.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you're not up for the challenge, then don't waste your time.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: So what you're saying is I can't upload a raw 720p video and just talk and it'll do
- 57:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm saying, because if you're great at communicating, you can actually do that.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: So we're actually experiencing a very interesting trend right now on YouTube, which I believe is in a trend.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_00]: And that is uploading or creating videos that are not edited.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_00]: And potentially our shot on phones, webcams, or there is no editing whatsoever.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_00]: I uploaded a video a couple of months ago.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_00]: Art was sick.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_00]: It was about an hour long, and that video has over 120,000 views.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_00]: I took the SD card.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_00]: I shot the video.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_00]: Took the SD card out, and I uploaded it straight to YouTube.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_00]: Now in this age of AI,
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: becoming a masterful communicator, will separate you from the competition.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_00]: Where everyone, if most people who are trying are using AI as a crutch to communicate better,
- 58:09[SPEAKER_00]: then you being a great communicator and it really being you and you're not a super polished but you're raw and it sounds great and it's easy to receive that you win, right?
- 58:20[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, there's this thing right now because like you know there's a guy in our space the name is Alex Ramozzi he's like his broad appeal is business
- 58:27[SPEAKER_00]: His niece messaging is scaling your business.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, from different, you know, service-based businesses.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, 100K to a million a million to 10 million But he literally this is so funny in the last couple of months.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_00]: He had a series that was shot like a television show
- 58:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that he had a grand prize super high production very Mr.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_00]: Beast for his niche netflix show netflix acquired Now I'm just kidding, but it would have had that level now looking at the performance of those videos.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_00]: They did okay
- 59:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: And then recently he went on a baby moon with his wife because they're about to have a kid and he shot a video literally.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it was on his phone or his laptop, it was like, what if it was like 40 minutes or an hour?
- 59:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think it has over 500,000 views and it was just him talking.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_00]: Talking.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_00]: Now people will see what Alex does at his level and say that works for me.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: Here's why it's so important to like try to pull, you got to pull the principles from unicorns.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_00]: So, if you see a unicorn doing something like a Mr. B's or whoever your favorite YouTuber is Mark Rober, whatever, what's the principles?
- 59:39[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the principle in that is that you can make videos that aren't hyper-edited.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_00]: We kind of talked about it earlier in the pod, but my thing is this will break your brain.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_00]: You, you the creator, you the communicator, you create the expectation, the audience has of you.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_00]: So if you meet them, if they meet you from a hyper-edited, super entertaining and all honesty, unsustainable manner, you're going to essentially force yourself to have to sustain that.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_00]: for your audience.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: Now, my favorite thing is when you first deal the insecurity of just being you times two and being who you are and sharing what you know and sharing only things you know, when you do it your way and you do it in a way that is sustainable and you create systems that you can repeat.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_00]: Then when a video breaks through, it's not going to be
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to keep up with something that isn't sustainable.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_00]: There are some people, this is why this is practical YouTube advice, because there are some people who are building media companies on YouTube where the product is the viewership.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's their selling views so then they have to do certain things to acquire insane amount of views.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_00]: idea and concept I got from a friend named Brock Johnson, he's one of the top Instagram educators, if you don't follow him you should, but he has this concept which is so powerful, it's called viral for me, VFM, meaning if I'm in real estate and I make a video and it gets 10,000 views and if on average the homes I sell are 5,000 and I get three clients who buy
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_00]: off of $10,000 views.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's the way I want you to see it.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to see it from a standpoint of, I don't need millions of views.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_00]: I need the right views.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_00]: And the right views come from the people that you know you want to talk to.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know you want to reach.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's good.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, that's kind of a little side tangent on the mastery of YouTube being you can upload very raw videos.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a new thing, but you still want to be able to strategically communicate.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I've done, I've uploaded an unedited
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_00]: talking head videos that are straight to camera just like this.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: I've also uploaded to this channel vlogs from my phone.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_00]: Or it's like, I mean, they're like 10, 15, 20 minutes.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_00]: We're on walking around and I'm talking to my phone.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_00]: No edit.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_00]: Just upload straight from the camera roll into YouTube.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember one time I did that a couple of years ago before we moved into this headquarters.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_00]: It was like one out of 10 on YouTube and it was crushing and all those things.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_00]: But that's how you master YouTube.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_00]: You won't see the money until you master it.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I wanted to hit the mastery before the monetization.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_00]: Let's move on to the next.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_00]: So how long are we in right now?
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_01]: We are about an hour in.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_00]: So you should be doing a question break.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_01]: Was there any question?
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do a question break.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_01]: This one was kind of on broad versus niche appeal in messaging, but I think we covered that.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_01]: Let me see.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, question, how does one transition target audience from those who are used to you giving everything for free to paid offerings?
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so I would encourage you that ask that question to watch a podcast we made on what people buy.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_00]: Now, that question comes from the standpoint that you think that a paywall determines
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_00]: information that you give.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, I won't, I'm not going to share something unless somebody pays me.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't operate in business with that philosophy because what I believe about the transaction or what I believe about the sale, I'll briefly break it down since we're already an hour in that you should know that when somebody buys something from you, they're not
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_00]: uh, I'm trying to go which way should I go?
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, I'll just, here's what, they are buying either approximation, meaning they want to buy, they just want to be close to you.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_00]: They want to have access different access to you.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously on YouTube, there's no, there's just one way communication kind of and paying you now there's maybe a relationship that they're getting.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, sometimes people will
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_00]: or consolidation, whereas when you watch stuff on social media or YouTube, it's scattered information.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_00]: Well, sometimes people will pay a person to give them that same information, but in the correct order.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's like, now that's a leverage point because if you watch something out of order, that's not my fault.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's just the nature of what's going on.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_00]: So people pay for organization.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_00]: People also pay for transformation.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_00]: And when I say they pay for transformation, what I mean is they're paying for their ability to pay attention for what they just paid for.
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_00]: So most people that watch the department,
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_00]: Who knows?
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_00]: Some of you guys are seriously paying attention.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_00]: Others are casually paying attention.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_00]: There are going to be a few people from this podcast that will fill out the application and potentially join our coaching program.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_00]: And those people, even though all the teachers through the same frameworks, what they're going to get is they're going to get,
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they're going to get proximation and the context of actually getting feedback on what they're doing.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_00]: But more importantly, it's going to put them in a care state.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to care more about this part of their business than they have ever before.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because they paid.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_00]: Could you care more without paying?
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you can, but there's a biblical principle around the concept of where your treasure is, there your heart is also.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're a business owner and you want to grow in something, it isn't your best interest to pay just to pay attention.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's what happens.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_00]: When something has your money, it also has your mind.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_00]: I just recently came back from a workshop with Myron Golden a couple of weeks ago.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_00]: I paid $25,000 for a two-day event.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now straight up, did I learn anything, did I learn anything remarkably new than what I already learned from him being in his coaching?
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_00]: No, however.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_00]: The insight I got is going to make me millions of dollars.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_00]: But it's because it cut out all the distraction.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_00]: It created at $25,000 level of care.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, okay, I need to work on my book.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_00]: I need to work on my stories, that sell.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like I got the things I needed to pay attention to in the season of my life.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm very, I mean, that's where that question typically comes from, because you think that withholding information behind it, it's no, there's so much that there's three things that people get when they buy something that has nothing to do with what you're selling.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_00]: One is the opportunity to exercise their right to buy.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_00]: When somebody buys from you, they are exercising.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_00]: You are giving them the opportunity to exercise their ability to buy something.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_00]: This is why malls exist.
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_00]: This is why TJ Maxx and Home Goods exists.
- 1:07:54[SPEAKER_00]: Is their doors are open and they're giving you the opportunity to exercise your right to buy.
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_00]: What if I didn't need it?
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_00]: Will have you ever told them to tell you sorry for buying for selling you something?
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, you bought something because they were open.
- 1:08:08[SPEAKER_00]: Second, is when people buy from you, it puts them in a care state, like I mentioned.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_00]: So you're just giving them an opportunity to care about the information at a certain level.
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_00]: This is where pricing just creates the level of care based on the person and the outcome they are looking for.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_00]: My coaching is not cheap because the information for the right person could make them hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars But it puts that type of person in a care state to care about the thing which has nothing to do with what I'm selling necessarily right and then the third thing is the person they are after they buy
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_00]: has nothing to do with what you're selling, that when you buy something, you have a different, I like to say like, life resets after every purchase.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_00]: So when I buy something, I become a person after that purchase.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you get your hair done, the person you are after, you get your hair done.
- 1:09:07[SPEAKER_00]: If you buy a watch, the person you are when you bought that, from when you before you bought the watch, after you bought the watch, you approach life differently.
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_00]: Even the fact that I said, I just spent two days in my earning was $25,000.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't say that sentence.
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_00]: Omar, the person couldn't say that sentence prior to making an investment like that.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_00]: So to answer that question.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_00]: Is that good?
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's good.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_01]: Aaron was like, what separates a 25K workshop from 100K though?
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_00]: What separates a 25K?
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you right now.
- 1:09:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's not the information.
- 1:09:38[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_00]: But it's what the information could be used for.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_00]: that's it.
- 1:09:45[SPEAKER_00]: And then also like probably the context, the content.
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, so a thousand dollars, a hundred thousand dollars creates a different context of the people in the room.
- 1:09:53[SPEAKER_00]: So for people to have invested a hundred thousand dollars to be in a two-day room, let's just say, which happens.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_00]: I assume it's a high level.
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_00]: They, it's not only the people in that room of high caliber, you don't need a bunch of information to make a small tweak that will make you millions.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_00]: And wealthy people understand this by the way.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's like if you're if you're asking yourself man of twenty five thousand dollars versus a hundred thousand dollars what what do they get.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_00]: They get the unlock to make multiple ROI on whatever that is.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_00]: Now, based on what I just said, that's what's happening.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_00]: What's happening is.
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_00]: They're creating the void of that 100K investment to fill over through the brim.
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think if I tell you it up, I've invested now over $375,000 in my own personal development.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_00]: And it's made making millions of dollars very easy.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_00]: At this point, it's like an automatic.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_00]: We started September.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_00]: We started September 1st at 65.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_00]: And we're gonna, I mean, we'll pass, we'll pass 100k this month just because of, like, right, monthly recurrings and stuff.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_00]: So like, it's made it easier.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, uh, it's funny because Miren used to say these things and it was hard for me to believe it, but he was literally like, it's hard for me to make 100 grand a year.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_00]: That's like, that's all, that will take more work.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_00]: How do, what does that even mean?
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you get in certain rooms.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_00]: You start thinking at a different level.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_00]: There are levels of thinking, and this is why it's so important to do the thinking work to do the mindset work that's why I started
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_00]: So good stuff.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get a monetization.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_00]: The reason most people put on YouTube is because they're not making the money But also, it's because you started with the wrong goal, but if you're killing it on YouTube or you want to Make sure you're you're having the foundations in place This is the best way to make the most money on YouTube with the smallest audience That's a hook right there.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_00]: It is
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_00]: I can't tell you this enough, but build your email list.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, how do you make a lot of money on YouTube with a small audience by building your email list?
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_00]: But Omar, how?
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_00]: But Omar.
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_00]: But Omar.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_00]: So what you want to do and something I love helping people do is, if you upload very long videos that are super high value, you
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_00]: Dude, it's your video.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_00]: Sponsor him with your own business.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, this video is brought to you by our content challenge, which is a five day live coaching experience.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_00]: Hop on the wait list to get in the know for the next challenge by clicking the link in the description.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_00]: And if this wasn't a live stream, we'd have a QR code on the screen.
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_00]: But that's a real, I'm sponsoring with that, I'm sponsoring with that ad.
- 1:12:53[SPEAKER_00]: and now that's just building an email list because it's just a wait list.
- 1:12:56[SPEAKER_00]: You can give away something in your videos.
- 1:12:58[SPEAKER_00]: If you thought through your videos like they were a true business asset, you would say what resource can we create that can coincide with this video that people will just want.
- 1:13:08[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in fitness, it might be the groceries checklist or a calculator or whatever, like an assessment.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_00]: The thing is is you want to extract your audience's information off the platform.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_00]: And once you have people's emails and even better their phone numbers, you my friend are building leads for your business.
- 1:13:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's as simple as that.
- 1:13:34[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody recently joined the coaching
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they didn't just, like, buy something off a YouTube.
- 1:13:43[SPEAKER_00]: No, they came into my world.
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_00]: They came to an event that I was doing.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then they said yes to an offer that I had.
- 1:13:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's sorry, it's like, it's simple.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's easy.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_00]: And it is that simple.
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I want you to consider the next steps.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like, when you make a video, what's a great next step for your video?
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_00]: If you identify, foundationally, this is why decision making so powerful, by the way.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like, don't overthink it.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_00]: just decide on what the thing is.
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_00]: Omar, nobody's downloading my lead magnet.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's fine.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_00]: Run ads here, lead magnet.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_00]: I know this is not like that conversation, but having a lead magnet.
- 1:14:17[SPEAKER_00]: We've grown our equipment list, by the way, everything you see and listen to, we give it away.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_00]: And it's because I know people think to themselves, dang, his stuff looks really good.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_00]: Dang, why is it?
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I wonder what they're using.
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_00]: Great, I'll give it to you.
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_00]: in exchange for your email.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I do a Zoom call where I'm teaching something, come on the Zoom call and learn.
- 1:14:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then if you want to buy something from me, you can.
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, but it breaks people's brain when I say sponsor your own video with your business, because they think that
- 1:14:52[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, where does the money come from to sponsors?
- 1:14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, don't, don't, shouldn't a company sponsor it?
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_00]: So that is one way to do it.
- 1:14:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I want, I will talk about this.
- 1:15:00[SPEAKER_00]: But, I will talk about the creator way to make money on YouTube, but this is the business owner CEO way to make money on YouTube.
- 1:15:07[SPEAKER_00]: Give away resources, create,
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_00]: Especially with AI now, you can create an unlimited amount of resources.
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_00]: You can create a to-do list from your content, you can create a checklist, you can, you could, I mean, if you're in the stages to be able to book a call, you can, you can offer a discovery call off the back end of your YouTube video.
- 1:15:25[SPEAKER_00]: If it's something that makes sense, I'm thinking about real estate.
- 1:15:29[SPEAKER_00]: If you had a real estate channel where you talk about all things living in the city or state you're in or whatever.
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and we're talking about things as simple as checklists and lists, cheat sheets that you can literally import transcript from the video you made.
- 1:15:45[SPEAKER_01]: and have chat build you can't say it that casually you're saying it casual but just say it like step-by-step step-by-step so you make a YouTube video make a YouTube video you film it you already did all the heavy lifting you already did all the work the thinking work um you would upload that video then into YouTube okay and it doesn't have to be live yet the YouTube video doesn't have to be published
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_01]: but YouTube will create a video transcript in the description.
- 1:16:14[SPEAKER_01]: You can check, it probably will take some time, but you then click that transcript, and you can copy the entire thing, and you take that transcript, paste it into ChatGBT or Cloud, and prompt it to take everything in the transcript, and make a,
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_01]: something you want.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like a checklist, a breakdown summary resources to look for in a, you know, in a alliance with, you know, the video you made and it'll spit it out for you.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_00]: And what's so cool is you can offer this.
- 1:16:54[SPEAKER_00]: Um, as a one time thing per video or you can just, you haven't, you have a, you, you have a newsletter and your content informs your newsletter, but the content also captures the leads for your newsletter.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_00]: So what, you know, it could, it could be like a PDF doc that you give away.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Which, I mean, either way, we're both work because people have different reasons why they grab something.
- 1:17:23[SPEAKER_00]: But you should be, I just want you to know that you should be always thinking about extracting.
- 1:17:28[SPEAKER_00]: Though, here's what typically happens.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_00]: You don't think this way, and you actually have a breakthrough video.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, Omar, I just got a video that got 150,000 views on YouTube.
- 1:17:39[SPEAKER_01]: What should I do?
- 1:17:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and there should have been something out.
- 1:17:43[SPEAKER_00]: It would have been cool if you sponsored your own video.
- 1:17:45[SPEAKER_00]: It would have been cool if you had some QR codes on the screen.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_00]: But here's, if that is, because you can still put something in the description, and you can also pin, this is huge, pin a YouTube comment.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_00]: because that's the first comment they see.
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_00]: And when they scroll, people love reading the comment section.
- 1:18:02[SPEAKER_00]: So they just make sure that you have, you can give the thing away in there.
- 1:18:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's such a little hanging fruit.
- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my goodness, like, I'll just put things in perspective.
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there was a person I had on this podcast before this podcast was even a year old.
- 1:18:16[SPEAKER_00]: It was like six months old.
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_00]: His name was Rory Vaden, shout it to Rory.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Rory was a guest on my podcast, we shot a 55-minute conversation and he, his link was a one-hour strategy session.
- 1:18:33[SPEAKER_00]: That was what his link was.
- 1:18:35[SPEAKER_00]: Now I, we set up an affiliate agreement where I would make 10% of anything he made off the back end of this conversation.
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_00]: This is called Affiliate,
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_00]: I, if I'm not mistaken, I've made over $25,000 from that conversation.
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_00]: which means he has generated over $250,000 from the conversation.
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_00]: I was recently at a conference in Atlanta and some girl came up to me.
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, oh my gosh, you're Omar.
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, she's like, I used to work on Rory Vaden's team and she was like, your podcast, your podcast.
- 1:19:20[SPEAKER_00]: Your podcast through our entire sales team for a loop.
- 1:19:24[SPEAKER_00]: I said, why?
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_00]: And she said, because our calendars just got crazy.
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, like they couldn't handle the endbound.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_00]: They handled it, but yeah, it was it sure.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_00]: But it number one, it showed me the power of a podcast, but more importantly, it showed me the power of a clear next step.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_00]: Right, how many people, by the way, that video doesn't have like, I mean, that video has like 50,000 views, 60, I mean, yeah, it, I mean, it's not anything like crazy, not viral viral viral.
- 1:19:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:19:53[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_00]: I just put things in perspective, y'all, y'all don't even know who we're evading is.
- 1:19:59[SPEAKER_00]: And he made 250k off of 50 minute conversation.
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_00]: Now, affiliates is another way to make money on YouTube because you don't have to offer the thing.
- 1:20:10[SPEAKER_00]: You could sell something you already believe in.
- 1:20:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I've been a part of generating millions and millions of dollars through affiliate marketing, talking about products and services and courses when I was doing stuff for Think Media, and we would just make a cut.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_00]: Which is right.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think about some brands.
- 1:20:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think about y'all.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody all know me about that from the Sony ZV-E10.
- 1:20:40[SPEAKER_00]: These were some lives that I want to know.
- 1:20:42[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody all know me from the Canon M50.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_00]: I sold more Canon M50s and Sony ZV-E10s and Canon and Sony combined.
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_00]: Bro, bro, every best buy combined, I 100% sold more.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, no, dude.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking.
- 1:21:02[SPEAKER_00]: a billion dollar company.
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, but we're talking tens of not 20,000 cameras 30,000 cameras.
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_01]: The local camera store here in Las Vegas 30,000 cameras 100% bro sold out selling out.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_01]: I need to see the receipts bro.
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_01]: I need to see the receipt bro.
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_00]: The DJI Osmo.
- 1:21:23[SPEAKER_00]: That was the last video I made on Think Media.
- 1:21:26[SPEAKER_00]: That video got a million views.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_00]: and sold out DJI Osmo.
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_00]: Put it on back order.
- 1:21:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you single in, but what am I, oh my, what are you saying though?
- 1:21:37[SPEAKER_00]: What I'm saying is affiliate marketing.
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's the ability to just sell something that you don't own, but that you believe in.
- 1:21:46[SPEAKER_00]: So now that that's the business model right put links in your description that are incredible next steps for the content you're making.
- 1:21:56[SPEAKER_00]: It could be a simple as a book.
- 1:21:57[SPEAKER_00]: It could be a discovery call.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_00]: I already gave you all the options, okay.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now if you are viewed think like a creator which I'm not like I don't even though I consider myself a creator I think like a business owner
- 1:22:09[SPEAKER_00]: There is a most people are chasing the monetization on YouTube, which if you do it the right way it could be somewhat lucrative.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think last year we made $85,000 off of Google on YouTube to me that feels like free money.
- 1:22:25[SPEAKER_00]: And the crazy thing is if you think like a business owner, you will take that organic pay and put it into paid advertising and make a gazillion dollars.
- 1:22:34[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway.
- 1:22:35[SPEAKER_00]: Most people are chasing the monetization on YouTube, which has been updated.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_00]: You now need 1,000 subscribers and 8,000 watch hours within a year from starting your YouTube channel.
- 1:22:48[SPEAKER_01]: Has that number changed the watch hour?
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was used before.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it used to be 4,000.
- 1:22:54[SPEAKER_00]: So how would you get their faster?
- 1:22:57[SPEAKER_00]: make longer videos that are high in value high in value or you can also monetize your channel with 20 million short views I don't I'm sure yeah but we'd even as short over here yeah so a thousand subs eight thousand watch hours another new update by the way for whatever it's worth
- 1:23:19[SPEAKER_00]: Notice that it doesn't say views.
- 1:23:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's important.
- 1:23:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like when it comes to the long form, like the amount of views you get aren't necessarily gonna make you monetized on YouTube from Google.
- 1:23:29[SPEAKER_00]: But I think it's important to also note that they updated the view count.
- 1:23:34[SPEAKER_00]: So everything after August 24th, every video you uploaded after August 24th, 2026 will now be eligible for views when they auto play.
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't know like when you're on Google Chrome or on your phone and you hover in the YouTube home feed and you sit on a video, it starts playing.
- 1:23:54[SPEAKER_00]: It used to not count that as a view.
- 1:23:56[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's going to be counted as a view.
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_00]: Which is an interesting like what they're doing is they they want to do that because it happens with shorts.
- 1:24:06[SPEAKER_00]: When you're scrolling through shorts, oh it counts as a view.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_00]: So what they're wanting they're wanting to have congruency with
- 1:24:16[SPEAKER_00]: a cool thing about affiliate or YouTube shop.
- 1:24:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is something I'm looking into as a business owner is selling potentially selling tickets to our challenge through the YouTube store.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_00]: And what does that mean?
- 1:24:28[SPEAKER_00]: That just means that underneath videos, as you can see all over YouTube, if you're on the platform, you can buy stuff off of people's YouTube channels.
- 1:24:35[SPEAKER_00]: If you have a product based business, there's a couple that used to be in our coaching program for two years, 23 leather,
- 1:24:45[SPEAKER_00]: and Marty?
- 1:24:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Joan Marty Bailey.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_00]: And they sell their own toolkit to make leather goods and they crush it because they post you two videos and the toolkits in the, it's not even in the description.
- 1:24:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's like in your face.
- 1:24:59[SPEAKER_00]: Something really cool, though, is we, I used to have to put.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_00]: Amazon links to the products that I talked about on the YouTube channel, but now you can actually direct your Amazon store to your YouTube store, which is really cool and convenient for people.
- 1:25:17[SPEAKER_00]: Another way to monetize on YouTube is to just sell products, sell low ticket products, like whatever.
- 1:25:23[SPEAKER_01]: Probably there's a department merch,
- 1:25:31[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't do that because I don't feel like it moves the needle much and I know if you want department merch come to Las Vegas, come to one of the live podcast recordings.
- 1:25:42[SPEAKER_00]: Probably the most lucrative way as a creator to monetize a YouTube channel is through brand deals and sponsorships.
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's lucrative because these companies
- 1:25:54[SPEAKER_00]: have marketing budgets, and they found it, it's usually more effective to work with a creator who's already built the trust with an audience where they're product to make sense for that audience.
- 1:26:06[SPEAKER_00]: I've literally been a part of $300,000 brand deals.
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_00]: I've been a part of multiple six figure brand deals where they would tack on affiliate to monthly reoccurring stuff.
- 1:26:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I was actually hanging out with my friend Kyle Anderson who runs Think Media's YouTube channel as a director and I was thinking about it because like there's a software called Vid IQ and I don't know if this is like okay to share but let's just say if you build a really strong relationship with the brand and you build a long-term relationship you could make millions of dollars with that partnership.
- 1:26:46[SPEAKER_00]: not even selling your own thing.
- 1:26:48[SPEAKER_00]: Now this is where we can get into the power of partnerships, where there might be a company that you believe in.
- 1:26:58[SPEAKER_00]: that you could potentially get ownership in because as a marketer or bringing awareness to a brand increases the customer base because Kevin O'Leary, the shark tank, he would say the most important thing in business is customer acquisition costs.
- 1:27:17[SPEAKER_00]: So why are brands paying creators a ton of money?
- 1:27:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's cheaper than them trying to acquire that customer themselves, which it's cheap for the brand, but it's lucrative for the creator.
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think you can actually do both.
- 1:27:35[SPEAKER_00]: There was a season where we did both.
- 1:27:37[SPEAKER_00]: I was sponsored my own podcast with my own offer.
- 1:27:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then I also sponsored it with a company named Yulanzi, which is like the light we use and like the tri-pods we used to use in all that stuff.
- 1:27:50[SPEAKER_00]: But I didn't like the control, and I'm not saying they're all like this, but a lot of times companies will want to control the creative.
- 1:27:59[SPEAKER_00]: You either trust me as the creative,
- 1:28:02[SPEAKER_00]: because you reached out to me, or you need the business.
- 1:28:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, maybe you need the money, but like I don't need, I don't need the brand deal money, which allows me to us to freely create without overthinking anything, and it's a powerful thing.
- 1:28:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'd rather, I think of it like, how much money have we made in podcast guest appearances?
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_00]: Um, affiliate income and like all that stuff.
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_00]: I honestly could say it's multiple six figures.
- 1:28:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:28:33[SPEAKER_00]: Easily multiple six figures since starting this podcast from a, uh, indirect monetization source like not necessarily making money from the views on YouTube.
- 1:28:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's making money.
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_00]: from what the building of platform and having a brand, you know, people pay to be on this podcast sometimes they pay a lot of money.
- 1:28:54[SPEAKER_00]: We do the live events, sometimes we'll do a live podcast, and that becomes a sales event for somebody.
- 1:28:59[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody will come up to me like do you can I learn more about your coaching program?
- 1:29:02[SPEAKER_00]: And like yeah, I do talk to Sophie here, you know, fill out the application and then we'll connect and then it turns into a client.
- 1:29:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like,
- 1:29:09[SPEAKER_00]: This is the power of it y'all legit.
- 1:29:11[SPEAKER_00]: This is the power of it.
- 1:29:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I think if you lock in twin, this is your year to crush it on YouTube.
- 1:29:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to get into some Q&A.
- 1:29:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's do it.
- 1:29:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to start off with the light question because I know it was like some light.
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, yeah, but was that it was a lot?
- 1:29:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it was a lot.
- 1:29:31[SPEAKER_00]: But I hope and pray it was digestible.
- 1:29:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but I'm also saying for you, too.
- 1:29:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm chillin' right.
- 1:29:37[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you're like not, dude, your eyes are red.
- 1:29:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's start off with the light one.
- 1:29:41[SPEAKER_01]: Are there any brains you would love to work with?
- 1:29:45[SPEAKER_00]: Just in this season of life, personally, I'd love to work with like a golf brand.
- 1:29:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think that makes sense.
- 1:29:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think having a, and when I like, obviously, something I would love to wear, you know, like a mall bin or whatever, like a dope golf brand.
- 1:30:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I think there's synergy because people,
- 1:30:09[SPEAKER_00]: This is a powerful thing.
- 1:30:12[SPEAKER_00]: Why would a golf brand sponsor this podcast?
- 1:30:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because humans consume this podcast, potentially high-level humans.
- 1:30:20[SPEAKER_00]: And potentially high-level humans who golf.
- 1:30:25[SPEAKER_00]: and people, I'm not gonna lie, I started wearing my video department hat that I used to wear a lot, which I still do, but people wanted to buy it.
- 1:30:33[SPEAKER_00]: So do I create a desire in people to buy things that are on my person and the answer is yes, so that would be one cool one.
- 1:30:42[SPEAKER_00]: I do think about a
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_00]: brand deal that has ownership.
- 1:30:49[SPEAKER_00]: So if there is a software or a company that would love to give me ownership stake, so that when they sell an exit one day that I get a piece of that pie,
- 1:31:00[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, in that case, it would just be like a software, maybe a software I believe in, not sure what it is right now.
- 1:31:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, yeah, sweet.
- 1:31:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:31:10[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Maka Naka said, if your skill is cooking, do you start a channel sharing how to cook and actually showing that?
- 1:31:22[SPEAKER_01]: Or do you just talk about cooking?
- 1:31:23[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 1:31:25[SPEAKER_01]: Really learning a lot.
- 1:31:26[SPEAKER_00]: So good.
- 1:31:26[SPEAKER_00]: Great question.
- 1:31:27[SPEAKER_00]: Ancher's both.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_00]: When you're starting out, your best friend is testing, you know, I know you asked about cooking, but in the same way of fitness, I remember that example I mentioned about a previous client Jasmine maze.
- 1:31:43[SPEAKER_00]: She actually used to make like demonstrating workout videos and then she started making more educational talking head videos and those talking head videos actually did better
- 1:32:00[SPEAKER_00]: I would say do the one that comes easiest to you initially because your goal is just to get out there.
- 1:32:05[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't be able to articulate at this level had I not made super practical videos.
- 1:32:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm how to edit on Adobe Premiere Pro, how to make a podcast, how to create a podcast, at a record video.
- 1:32:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I think the answer is both when you, when you, the thing is is when you teach, by through demonstration,
- 1:32:27[SPEAKER_00]: You become, you start to realize like what part of the demonstration loses people.
- 1:32:32[SPEAKER_00]: So what happened was, by the way, I'm speaking from experience, is that I used to do very demonstrative tutorials and it only created more questions, more problems, more questions.
- 1:32:44[SPEAKER_00]: So people would actually DM me and say like, hey, I'm watching your videos and I watch your content and that still happens.
- 1:32:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then they have more questions about the thing I just told you exactly how to do.
- 1:32:57[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the times when you demonstrate something, people have different contexts.
- 1:33:02[SPEAKER_00]: But in the realm of cooking to answer your specific question, I would do both.
- 1:33:07[SPEAKER_00]: I would do reviews.
- 1:33:09[SPEAKER_00]: I would show you.
- 1:33:11[SPEAKER_00]: You can literally series out videos.
- 1:33:14[SPEAKER_00]: You can make a video on an entire spread and five-course meal.
- 1:33:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then you can also make a video on each individual thing.
- 1:33:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then you can talk about the experience.
- 1:33:25[SPEAKER_00]: Don't don't overthink it.
- 1:33:26[SPEAKER_00]: Just make make whichever feels like comes more and most natural and most easiest to you.
- 1:33:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's good.
- 1:33:33[SPEAKER_01]: No chill brills said what happens if you had your channel for five years could you monetize?
- 1:33:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then what say that again?
- 1:33:42[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 1:33:43[SPEAKER_01]: What happens if you if you've had your channel for five years could you monetize?
- 1:33:49[SPEAKER_01]: And could you monetize your channel even after the first year potentially?
- 1:33:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I mean, what's interesting is in the past I used to say, just whenever you decide to lock in on YouTube, use the channel you already have.
- 1:34:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a different prescription I now give.
- 1:34:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think if you're deciding to lock in on YouTube, I would say start fresh.
- 1:34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Start fresh.
- 1:34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Is that the question?
- 1:34:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, let me talk about monetizing, because I said, yeah, because it says getting a certain amount of views, we're talking about monetizing from Google.
- 1:34:22[SPEAKER_00]: I said based on what YouTube says is that you have to get that threshold within 365 days.
- 1:34:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's the word cumulative, I don't know, but the idea is that
- 1:34:36[SPEAKER_00]: you just get that amount of volume within a 365 day time frame.
- 1:34:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it means like, oh man, I miss my window from starting my YouTube channel because it's all I've had it for five years.
- 1:34:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like no, if you, within 365 days, hit that threshold, then you get monetized.
- 1:34:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I believe.
- 1:34:53[SPEAKER_00]: But if you've been like not taking YouTube serious and you've been all over the place, this might throw you for a loop, if you decide to lock in to and start a new YouTube channel with massive clarity, and it'll create, it'll create a sense of trust with your audience or with the audience you will reach.
- 1:35:12[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah.
- 1:35:13[SPEAKER_01]: So, I am Grace Winklar said, how do you
- 1:35:22[SPEAKER_00]: multi-town up up don't take this acid it don't take this wrong way but you're not that special whoa so like out 정말 we're all multi-faceted we're all multi-talented I golf your fashionable I got I I love coffee I I read the Bible I
- 1:35:46[SPEAKER_00]: drive a drive a Porsche.
- 1:35:47[SPEAKER_00]: I like watches.
- 1:35:50[SPEAKER_00]: And also I'm I'm also good at I'm like good because I have an obsessive personality.
- 1:35:55[SPEAKER_00]: So arts a triathlete.
- 1:36:00[SPEAKER_00]: So my thing is.
- 1:36:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then this might sound harsh, but don't don't take it harsh.
- 1:36:06[SPEAKER_00]: I mean businesses in personal.
- 1:36:08[SPEAKER_00]: But it's no one cares.
- 1:36:12[SPEAKER_00]: no one cares that you are multi-faceted, no one cares that you are multi-passionate, no one cares about you, they only care about themselves.
- 1:36:22[SPEAKER_00]: And you just have to realize that in this world of AI, people are so distracted.
- 1:36:30[SPEAKER_00]: and by you feeling like you need to include every facet of who you are as a human being and hoping that people love that, it's like a painter who wants to sell their paintings for $30,000 and is just sold out to that concept and it's like, no, you know who determines whether you're painting is $30,000 once you price it at that point is the person who buys it.
- 1:37:00[SPEAKER_00]: For talking about business, the market always decides.
- 1:37:03[SPEAKER_00]: And that's always where I come from.
- 1:37:04[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I hope it doesn't come off too harsh.
- 1:37:06[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, so would you say like, but you could strategically make it about the one thing.
- 1:37:12[SPEAKER_00]: When I say brought appeal, I mean, it's still one main thing, business.
- 1:37:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's relationships.
- 1:37:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's health.
- 1:37:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's finances, you know, but then me wearing a golf outfit right now and talk we talked about golf is a format is is a way of sharing those other facets, yeah, without it being about golf, so, but you would essentially tell her to pick the thing that she's interested in, but also makes money or hasn't yeah, I mean, that's where that's where that's where my thing is my and my thing is the thing you're interested in, the thing you're interested in.
- 1:37:50[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't even have to be the thing that makes you money.
- 1:37:53[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the biggest misconception about business today.
- 1:38:00[SPEAKER_00]: Is that people are trying to build a business out of something they love, rather than building a business that creates
- 1:38:19[SPEAKER_00]: and that creates your love for it.
- 1:38:23[SPEAKER_00]: Let me say this in a different way where people get it.
- 1:38:25[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, I'm a talker, I'm a speaker who writes not a writer who speaks.
- 1:38:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't love what I do.
- 1:38:36[SPEAKER_00]: I love what I do does.
- 1:38:42[SPEAKER_00]: The fruit of what I do is what I'm in love with.
- 1:38:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't love podcasting.
- 1:38:53[SPEAKER_00]: I love hearing people say that the podcast has changed their life.
- 1:39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Does that make sense?
- 1:39:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:39:03[SPEAKER_00]: our passions are ever changing.
- 1:39:07[SPEAKER_00]: We are evolving human beings.
- 1:39:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so much people, you either wanna make a lot of money practically, or you want to chase fantasies.
- 1:39:21[SPEAKER_00]: And good luck at doing, I just wanna love what I do.
- 1:39:25[SPEAKER_00]: That is so, you know that most professional athletes don't even love what they do.
- 1:39:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're looking forward to retirement.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_00]: But we were at a conference a couple of months ago, and a very famous actor came up to me and said, bro, I watch every single one of your podcasts.
- 1:39:49[SPEAKER_00]: And this is an actor I watched almost 20 years ago.
- 1:39:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, why do you watch my podcast?
- 1:39:55[SPEAKER_00]: You're a full-time actor making tens of millions of dollars.
- 1:40:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, dude, I'm tired of bringing my kids on set.
- 1:40:03[SPEAKER_00]: I need to figure out another way to make money.
- 1:40:07[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 1:40:08[SPEAKER_00]: Don't you love acting?
- 1:40:11[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:40:13[SPEAKER_00]: But is he able to provide for his family 100?
- 1:40:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I know in this world, we're going to create, you know, creatives that have a dream to be paid for something they love doing.
- 1:40:27[SPEAKER_00]: And there's nothing wrong with that.
- 1:40:29[SPEAKER_00]: I would say do something, sorry, I would say do something
- 1:40:35[SPEAKER_00]: that pays you to be able to do something you would love to do, and you don't have to charge for it.
- 1:40:40[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to build a business around it.
- 1:40:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying, but what's funny is like, I think what's happening is what it looks like online is it looks like creators who have big audiences, like they absolutely just, they're built, like everything is just out of a pure place of passion and purpose.
- 1:40:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I just don't think that is a healthy way to approach anything.
- 1:41:03[SPEAKER_01]: Do I feel like you what you do should bring you fulfillment for sure, but like you're going to get tired of making videos on the thing you're passionate about right so Rehons said this is good very sobering Havier said don't love your job job your love bro job your love, which whatever okay, here's here's another one I don't know how many more you want to do.
- 1:41:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm chilling bro.
- 1:41:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to take up your time
- 1:41:28[SPEAKER_01]: I help people get building permits.
- 1:41:31[SPEAKER_01]: Once they have the permit, they don't really need me anymore.
- 1:41:35[SPEAKER_01]: Should I expand my niche to keep serving those people or stick with my original focus?
- 1:41:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's not a YouTube question.
- 1:41:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, I mean, I guess I don't know if he means like he helps people like on YouTube doing that.
- 1:41:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I mean, my thing is it that's because you said expand niche, so I mean, I say well, I mean maybe when you're when you if you help people for a long period of time with one thing typically it reveals the next thing or the or the pre thing so it's like what's the pre thing a person needs like consulting to get the permit is a pre thing and I don't know what that's what you sell but if I was helping people with building permits in a city I would make content around
- 1:42:23[SPEAKER_00]: acquiring land.
- 1:42:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'd make content around investing in real estate.
- 1:42:26[SPEAKER_00]: I would make content around passing certain tests.
- 1:42:33[SPEAKER_00]: What do they say?
- 1:42:35[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever you want to put renovate a house or something, you have to get it passed by the state.
- 1:42:40[SPEAKER_00]: There's boring information that people would love to learn before they get into something.
- 1:42:47[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if that's getting people building permits
- 1:42:51[SPEAKER_00]: a high value transaction.
- 1:42:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:42:54[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:42:56[SPEAKER_01]: Clio Campbell says, this seems like a basic one, but I think there's something deeper you can attack or address.
- 1:43:05[SPEAKER_01]: Should a new channel launch with three to five videos already uploaded?
- 1:43:12[SPEAKER_00]: No, if you're starting a brand new YouTube channel or you're ready to take YouTube series, I would say get five or so videos done and then you now have a month of margin to start working on video 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 plus.
- 1:43:31[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to upload all five and then release your YouTube channel.
- 1:43:34[SPEAKER_00]: No, you can upload one at a time.
- 1:43:37[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't talk about YouTube schedule, but I'm a once a week kind of guy.
- 1:43:43[SPEAKER_00]: You could totally be a once every two weeks kind of person.
- 1:43:46[SPEAKER_00]: Or you could be a once a month person.
- 1:43:49[SPEAKER_00]: Depends on your goals.
- 1:43:51[SPEAKER_00]: But I'd say start with four or five in the can and release them incrementally.
- 1:44:00[SPEAKER_01]: So we don't know how to say his name, but he said, what is the more important thing when addressing psychology with thumbnails?
- 1:44:13[SPEAKER_01]: Is it words over, um, over-edited thumbnails, like overproduced?
- 1:44:19[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:44:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't I think there's I think that is a common theme with like yeah creators is their thumbnails look very professional They're you know, I think there is a quote unquote good enough in that regard when when we think of an overproduced thumbnail It probably starts to look very AI or like to you know a photo shop Yeah, it's just two process is the I think a very process
- 1:44:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think clarity is important.
- 1:44:46[SPEAKER_00]: We definitely, you know, the edit, we put on our thumbnails wouldn't be something I'd put on our family photos.
- 1:44:53[SPEAKER_00]: No, like right, because we want it to be punchy.
- 1:44:58[SPEAKER_00]: We want it to be very clear contrasty and things like that and vibrant.
- 1:45:04[SPEAKER_00]: But you don't want it to be so, so intense that it's no longer natural, I think there's a, there's a healthy balance there, and then the reality is like, yeah, the words, in many cases matter more because that's what's going to invoke, you know what's so funny is like YouTube is measured, the success of a YouTube video is measured by the click through rate.
- 1:45:27[SPEAKER_00]: and the average view duration.
- 1:45:29[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean?
- 1:45:30[SPEAKER_00]: That means from the amount of people that will see the video and click on it, that's called click through rate, then however many people that click on it and how on average they stay throughout it.
- 1:45:43[SPEAKER_00]: One reason upload very long YouTube videos is so that you increase the average view duration.
- 1:45:48[SPEAKER_00]: If there's more time to be spent on your video, chances are you might have a longer time spent on a YouTube video.
- 1:45:53[SPEAKER_00]: So, but what's a sat, this is a stat that YouTube does not actually, oh, I guess I could take that back, but up until the point where YouTube makes the update that they're giving you a view for videos uploaded that get a view when the video starts playing, but there's no way for YouTube to track what goes through your mind when you see a YouTube video.
- 1:46:19[SPEAKER_00]: right via thumbnail and title right like something happens when you see a video and you read the words and then you read the title like you are you are in a state of processing which there's no way for the your phone or your laptop or your TV to know that that's that you're thinking about whether you should watch us or not you know so uh
- 1:46:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I would just say the words and the face is what actually influenced that conversation you're having in your mind, which is the goal, which your thumbnail is to start a conversation in a person's mind.
- 1:46:50[SPEAKER_01]: Huh?
- 1:46:51[SPEAKER_00]: What did they?
- 1:46:52[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I wonder, like that's the stuff you want people that'd be thinking of.
- 1:46:57[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I mean, there are more questions but we'll do one last question.
- 1:47:01[SPEAKER_00]: You don't really like YouTube.
- 1:47:03[SPEAKER_00]: There are no different questions.
- 1:47:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:47:05[SPEAKER_00]: All right, I'll tell you what, if you have a business question
- 1:47:10[SPEAKER_00]: Sign up for the next content to cast challenge.
- 1:47:13[SPEAKER_00]: just get on the wait list to the description.
- 1:47:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's in the description.
- 1:47:16[SPEAKER_00]: If you have not, if you've done it before, do it again.
- 1:47:20[SPEAKER_00]: There is an opportunity to have five days of Q&A with me.
- 1:47:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I believe my brain is very valuable.
- 1:47:28[SPEAKER_00]: And this is why people pay me a lot of money.
- 1:47:32[SPEAKER_00]: And the challenge is a great place to get in a room where other people are asking business questions, content questions, brand personal brand questions, and things like that.
- 1:47:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we'll do one more, because it's funny as soon as we start saying this.
- 1:47:46[SPEAKER_01]: How many people are on my way?
- 1:47:47[SPEAKER_01]: A hundred and thirty six, okay.
- 1:47:50[SPEAKER_01]: You've suggested having a co-host like art.
- 1:47:54[SPEAKER_01]: I have people I could ask for that support, but just not a dedicated person for that role in these suggestions.
- 1:48:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the suggestion, which let me inform people where this question is coming from, I believe if you have a YouTube channel, it helps to have somebody do it with you, even in the form of the actual video itself, because they are what I like to call the audience advocate.
- 1:48:19[SPEAKER_00]: When there's a second mind, and at this point we're doing it live and having a comment section, how many minds are being
- 1:48:27[SPEAKER_00]: resource for this YouTube video.
- 1:48:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:48:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's insane.
- 1:48:31[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but if you can't have somebody Consistent, I think that's okay.
- 1:48:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think the idea is that I still see a video like this as like a solo video because I Essentially brought up the information foundationally art's job is to facilitate
- 1:48:47[SPEAKER_00]: things that the audience would potentially consider or something that comes into his mind.
- 1:48:51[SPEAKER_00]: There's just high likelihood that something comes into art's mind that would come into your mind if you watched it later.
- 1:48:57[SPEAKER_00]: So one of the best things you can do with your YouTube videos is have an audience advocate and they don't have to be consistent but they have to be curious.
- 1:49:06[SPEAKER_00]: And you can be, it could be your YouTube channel, but yet you have someone like this.
- 1:49:11[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody, I'm thinking of that literally did this before it was popular.
- 1:49:15[SPEAKER_00]: It was Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad.
- 1:49:18[SPEAKER_00]: If you look at his old videos, he had this girl who was a lot younger than him.
- 1:49:23[SPEAKER_00]: That sounds very weird, but he was two generations or so older than the girl who was poking
- 1:49:30[SPEAKER_00]: at his information.
- 1:49:31[SPEAKER_00]: And so it created a very easy to digest format because it was like, dang, I didn't, I had this same question as long as the people that you continually have on our curious and they're not just dead weight.
- 1:49:49[SPEAKER_00]: then it's okay to cycle through them and you know you never know like there might be somebody that would love to do it and would let the build it with you and that could be a team member I think that's probably one of the easier ways but I remember I mean I'll
- 1:50:05[SPEAKER_00]: I will shoulder tap somebody to come on this podcast, that's local, that I have in mind, not even just to bring their expertise, but just to be a third voice or a second voice.
- 1:50:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just a new perspective.
- 1:50:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a fresh perspective.
- 1:50:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, there was Brandon Melonzo who in the fall or was that early this year, we were doing stuff.
- 1:50:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's a content creator at fashion.
- 1:50:27[SPEAKER_00]: So he had a
- 1:50:28[SPEAKER_00]: a cool perspective on certain things because his approach is more creator first business owner second.
- 1:50:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, um, ultimately still a business owner, but just a perspective.
- 1:50:38[SPEAKER_00]: So that's all.
- 1:50:39[SPEAKER_00]: I would say there's more benefit in that than anything is rotating people sweet.
- 1:50:44[SPEAKER_00]: Sweet, all right, y'all, you have a blessed rest of your week, and be sure to check out the links in the description for you still watching DM me on Instagram and let me know that you watched till the end and tell me your biggest takeaway.

- 1:51:07[SPEAKER_00]: And we're just grateful for the department fan for people who lock in.
- 1:51:11[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go, let's go.
- 1:51:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think it should be almost two hours.
