A Thankful Heart

We see many times in Scripture where the expression used is ‘ sacrifice of praise.’ It can truly be a sacrifice to praise God or be thankful when life is difficult. David said ‘will I give to the Lord that which cost me nothing?’ He knew that there was a cost to offering God praise and thanksgiving. Now when things are going well, it can seem easy to be thankful, but it is in the tough times that it gets hard. This is where it does become a sacrifice.
