- 0:13Hi Jay Fallon. Thanks for listening to the
- 0:16slippery slope. Hey so I read the story a few
- 0:18weeks ago. I actually, when I first read it
- 0:21I thought I thought I didn't really understand what they were
- 0:25saying, I thought I must not be understanding.
- 0:28What is being written right in front of me?
- 0:30I must not be comprehending. This properly, I doubted my
- 0:35ability to understand the English language at the time
- 0:38because I thought I live in the nation.
- 0:42I live in the country of Australia where, you know,
- 0:46Democratic Democratic Nation we come.
- 0:50We're part of the Commonwealth. We don't live.
- 0:53Live under a government that just unilaterally takes over
- 0:57private Enterprise, you know, if they can't do it all, then they
- 1:01make legislation, they create legislation that allows them to
- 1:05just just take it over by force. I thought that's not the
- 1:10Australia that I live in but well, there you go.
- 1:13I was wrong. That is exactly the Australia
- 1:16that I live in apparently. So what I'm talking about is
- 1:19what's happened in the act, the Australian Capital territory,
- 1:23Right. If you're not from Australia,
- 1:24the ACT Australian, Capital territory is where our Capital
- 1:28Canberra. It's not a bigger city.
- 1:29Is the capital where all the politicians work from the
- 1:35federal? The ACT is also.
- 1:40Australia. It's a Bastion front leader for
- 1:46woke ideologies. It's a very small area.
- 1:50So that's where their Federal politicians work out from they
- 1:54govern from. But also it's it's got its own
- 1:56little government there. Kinds of comes under Federal
- 2:01jurisdiction, extremely woke, extremely woke.
- 2:05Now, I'm going to read some things that come from the ACL,
- 2:09the Australian Christian Lobby. I would encourage you to get a
- 2:14hold of their newsletters that gets sent out.
- 2:18Like I said, I was reading this article a couple of different
- 2:20articles I thought I had it all wrong.
- 2:23I thought I cannot be reading this properly, I must not
- 2:25understand what's going on lo and behold.
- 2:30I wasn't reading it incorrectly. This is exactly right act
- 2:36government to take over Calvary, public hospital to make way for
- 2:40new 1 billion dollar. Northside Hospital not listen to
- 2:44the way they frame this article to, you know, with it's like
- 2:47they're coming along like this benevolence.
- 2:51Benevolent being that, you know, just giving they just they just
- 2:54got the people in mind, it's big fat lie.
- 2:57A city government has announced controversial plans to take over
- 3:00the Catholic owned Calvary public hospital.
- 3:04So I'm going to tell you that. This is really a push to take
- 3:07over a public hospital because it's run by an organization that
- 3:12has christian-based biblically-based morals and
- 3:17principles nothing to do with them.
- 3:19Just trying to do a good thing the government like I said
- 3:23before, if the government saying they're doing something for you,
- 3:25the the here to help you Turn around quick because someone's
- 3:29about to crack you in the back of the head, which is exactly
- 3:31what's happened here. The government said today would
- 3:34allocate more than 1 billion dollars towards new hospital in
- 3:37Bruce at the existing kill recite.
- 3:40Now, this Hospital wasn't wasn't running to the ground.
- 3:44It didn't You know, it wasn't failing or anything like that.
- 3:48It was providing extremely adequate, extremely good
- 3:52services. But I'll tell you, what seems to
- 3:55have happened is that the hospital didn't support the
- 3:58services that the government the ACT government wanted, you know,
- 4:03with extreme abortions with helping young children. helping
- 4:10direct them into transitioning services and all, that kind of
- 4:16thing. This is the real problem.
- 4:18So the government Calvary Healthcare began negotiating
- 4:20hospitals future in May last year, but they were unable to
- 4:23reach an agreement. The government said it would now
- 4:25introduce new legislation on Thursday to compulsorily
- 4:28acquire, the hospital's assets and effectively transition
- 4:32Calvary staff to Canberra health services.
- 4:34So they were trying to negotiate, they couldn't come to
- 4:38an agreement. So the government says stuff
- 4:40it's let's just change. Let's just create legislation.
- 4:43Ation. Create the legislation and make
- 4:46it ours. Take it by force, or kind of a
- 4:50country. What kind of country do we live
- 4:52in? Where that happens?
- 4:54I didn't think we lived in in Russia.
- 4:58I didn't think that happened. I didn't think we lived in
- 5:01China. I didn't think the giant, the
- 5:03communist China is but Chinese Communist Party were our
- 5:07governments, but obviously they've been learning from the
- 5:10Chinese Communist Party. Haven't they the ACT government
- 5:12continues to make? Being for the significant
- 5:15investments in infrastructure to build cameras, future and ensure
- 5:18we meet the needs of a growing city.
- 5:20See what they're saying here the minister Andrew Bear bar said
- 5:25yeah we want to meet the needs of a growing city.
- 5:27We just a benevolent Society just trying to give that's all
- 5:31we are. No no no, not at all liar liar.
- 5:37The government has said, is set up, set up a transition team.
- 5:41K Calvary will also be compensated funny enough.
- 5:45They didn't really want to be you forcing it health Minister
- 5:48Rachel. Stephen Smith said the 1 billion
- 5:52dollar cost was a big decision for the future of the healthcare
- 5:55Healthcare in the ACT to consolidate Health Services.
- 5:59She said the Takeover would consolidate the ACT public
- 6:02hospitals and create a single Health Network, allowing the
- 6:05government to better coordinate Health Services distribute
- 6:09resources, Has effectively and strengthen the capacity of our
- 6:13Workforce. Yeah, she couldn't couldn't lie
- 6:18straight in bed. That lady, this is her there.
- 6:20She added Calvary had played an important role in the delivery
- 6:23of Public Health Care for generations of canberrans over
- 6:27the last 44 years. I would like to thank all keep
- 6:30going on. What to say the government did
- 6:33not provide details about staff movements.
- 6:37She goes on down here to say at a media conference.
- 6:41Stephen Smith said it was no secret the government.
- 6:44Calvary had had a strained relationship over the years, but
- 6:47said, the Takeover was not a product of that.
- 6:50And how many people realize that when the government says, I
- 6:54know, know when the government says it's not a product of that,
- 6:58it's not, that's not it. It's just a conspiracy.
- 7:01You don't have to believe that. Well then it probably is the
- 7:05government says no, no, that's not the reason.
- 7:07It's got nothing to do with all these arguments, we've been
- 7:09having. I'll guarantee you.
- 7:10It is to do with all the arguments they have been having.
- 7:13I'll read to you some of the issues that have come up.
- 7:16And this is from some different newsletters of come from the
- 7:19Australian Christian Lobby. It says that pro-life Calvary
- 7:25Hospital is being seized so that the ACT government can roll out
- 7:30euthanasia unhindered. This is in our capital.
- 7:34Why? What they're calling an
- 7:35overriding religious ethos? They're going to say that the
- 7:39federal Parliament needs to hear from People Like Us.
- 7:42Okay. People like their would agree
- 7:44with this that if that it must reject the Australian law Reform
- 7:47Commission recommendations to strip religious schools of the
- 7:51right to hire staff who share their religious ethics and who
- 7:56model their beliefs, about gender and sexuality.
- 7:59Hundreds of late term. Babies are born alive, following
- 8:02abortion. Is every year after birth, there
- 8:06left to die, without pain relief or life-saving care, from what
- 8:11I've heard from what I've been able to read.
- 8:13This is one of the issues Calvary Hospital did not agree
- 8:17with with late-term abortions and leaving leaving these babies
- 8:25to die. goes on to say they're not treated as children but as
- 8:30medical waste here in Australia here in Australia, disgusting
- 8:36disgusting, Doesn't say that Senators need to hear from
- 8:41People Like Us, calling on them. To support, Senator cat can
- 8:46advance, and antique and Babbitt's.
- 8:49Born alive bill. So the baby is, born live in
- 8:52abortions. Can receive Compassionate
- 8:55life-saving Care. Also in another newsletter, says
- 9:00that calvary's conscientious objection to providing elective
- 9:05abortions. And assisted suicide is an
- 9:08Affront to the ACT labor greens government.
- 9:13Remember labor, and the green party.
- 9:15They're the big push behind this this.
- 9:19Then the main force behind this big Porsche or euthanasia that
- 9:23we've seen the last 12 months. I mean, it was always getting
- 9:27pushed along, but since they've come into power Across the
- 9:30Nation a lot more talk a lot more States.
- 9:34Now pushing ahead with euthanasia laws, Anyway, I'll go
- 9:40back over this again. So Cal conscientious objections
- 9:44to providing elective abortions. Sister's suicide isn't a front
- 9:47of the ACT, labor greens government.
- 9:49And there is no tolerance for descent thus why they are taking
- 9:54over forcibly. The hospital goes on to say this
- 9:58takeover would create a dangerous precedent, but other
- 10:02governments to seize Faith Based Services like education.
- 10:07And Health Care, John steinhoff, who's the manager managing
- 10:12director of the human rights. Law Alliance has said the icy
- 10:17Government Act government will soon introduce some of the most
- 10:21extreme euthanasia laws in the world.
- 10:25One of the key barriers to the compelled Universal rollout of
- 10:29Yuna euthanasia, on both the willing and unwilling is
- 10:35Calvary. Calvary ha Hospital that I think
- 10:40it's everything to do with Calvary pushing against the ACT
- 10:44government and their desire to shed innocent blood.
- 10:51Their desire to kill. And now we have a government
- 10:56that will forcefully forcibly. Take over.
- 11:02A hospital. If they can do it to them, they
- 11:05can do it to anyone. the end today, I want to read I want to
- 11:12read this. This something of a poem it's
- 11:15attributed to Martin niemoller pronouncing that, right?
- 11:20Anyway, he was a German Lutheran, pastor and theologian
- 11:23born. Obviously, in Germany and lip
- 11:26start to Germany in 1892. So, in Imola, hope I'm
- 11:31pronouncing that right? It was an anti-communist and
- 11:34supported at off, Hitler's rise to power, but when, but when,
- 11:41after he came to A power Hitler insisted on the supremacy of the
- 11:44state over religion, the Imola became disillusioned.
- 11:51He became the leader of a group of German clergyman opposed to
- 11:55Hitler in 1937. He was arrested and eventually
- 11:58confined in one important try and pronounce those places.
- 12:02And you know, obviously these are some kind of Prisons.
- 12:05He was released in 1945 by the Allies.
- 12:08He continued his career in Germany as a cleric and as a
- 12:11leading voice Voice of penance and Reconciliation for the
- 12:14German people after World War two.
- 12:17So one version of this poem that he's written a longer version,
- 12:22which is at the Holocaust Memorial Day, trust is as
- 12:28follows since burst. They came for the Communists and
- 12:33I did not speak out because I was not a communist.
- 12:38Then they came for the Socialists and I did not speak
- 12:41out because I was not a socialist.
- 12:45Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak
- 12:48out because I was not a trade unionist, then they came for the
- 12:53Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.
- 12:59Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for
- 13:03me. If we don't speak out for what's
- 13:08happening in our country, get up and make a noise sign the
- 13:13petitions, create a fuss. Let the government's know that
- 13:18we do not agree with hostile takeovers like Calvary Hospital.
- 13:26We got no one else to blame, but ourselves.
- 13:31So he's the problem. The nation that continually
- 13:35rejects God produces judicial legislative and executive
- 13:42branches of government that approve of and encourage
- 13:45immorality and Corruption. It's what a talks about in
- 13:50Romans chapter 1. This is what happens.
- 13:55And this is what has happened with our government currently
- 13:59here in Australia. Continually rejecting God
- 14:03embracing Pagan worship, embracing immorality.
- 14:12And this is where we are. Fighting.
- 14:16For the rights, for the right to kill unborn children.
- 14:22And pushing head with legislation.
- 14:24Of euthanasia. That's our nation the nation.
- 14:28That's rejected. God.
- 14:30And these are the consequences that we and they are enduring.
- 14:35Thanks for listening to the slippery slope.
- 14:39They just
