- 0:00Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:00Speaker 2: So I got to tell you, I got beef with Uber, right? Yeah,
- 0:02Speaker 2: I think it was Uber. I don't know. I was
- 0:04Speaker 2: an Uber Lyft. I'm one of them. I got beef
- 0:06Speaker 2: with all of them. So yesterday, yesterday afternoon, buddies of
- 0:12Speaker 2: mine called me. Hey, they left work early. OK, let's
- 0:15Speaker 2: go play a little golf. I said, OK, I'll go
- 0:17Speaker 2: play a little golf with you.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 0:18Speaker 2: So I go out playing a little golf and they
- 0:21Speaker 2: decide that after golf, they want to go have a
- 0:23Speaker 2: couple of drinks. Right. So I go to my local
- 0:25Speaker 2: watering hole with them. And we're having a few drinks.
- 0:28Speaker 2: We're hanging out, you know, starting to get a little busy.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Now we're running into people. Now a couple of drinks
- 0:35Speaker 2: after golf turned into way too many drinks, and we
- 0:38Speaker 2: should have gone home hours ago, right? So, mind you,
- 0:44Speaker 2: got a little late. I mean, late was probably, I
- 0:47Speaker 2: don't know, we probably got there about 5, 4-ish, maybe 4-ish,
- 0:52Speaker 2: and left about 10. maybe around 9, 30, 10-ish, something
- 0:56Speaker 2: like that. But we were drinking, just hanging out, having
- 0:58Speaker 2: a good time. You know how it goes. You get
- 0:59Speaker 2: caught up in the moment, you're hanging out. Anyway, I
- 1:01Speaker 2: had too much to drink. So I get me, or
- 1:05Speaker 2: I think it was Uber. I get me an Uber and,
- 1:09Speaker 2: or Lyft, I don't know, it was one of them.
- 1:11Speaker 2: So I get in, right? And I'm going home. And
- 1:18Speaker 2: the reason I got beef is because we ended up
- 1:20Speaker 2: going through a jack-in-the-box. You get drunk, And all health.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I've been trying to eat real well over the last
- 1:30Speaker 2: few months, changing my eating habits a little bit. Not
- 1:33Speaker 2: crazy crazy, but just trying to avoid fast food, trying
- 1:36Speaker 2: to avoid unnecessary food, right? And so I tell the driver, hey,
- 1:44Speaker 2: can you run through? Because obviously. He's like, yeah, no problem.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, my God. So I end up buying
- 1:52Speaker 2: him some food, buying me some food. And I didn't
- 1:56Speaker 2: feel well this morning when I got up. And I
- 2:00Speaker 2: know it was because I just ate too much greasy,
- 2:03Speaker 2: you know. It didn't make me feel better. So, yeah,
- 2:08Speaker 2: Uber got to stop. You guys got to stop, by
- 2:10Speaker 2: the way. Car services, you got to stop rolling drunk
- 2:12Speaker 2: people through fast food when they're drunk. Just take me home.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Next time I'm in a car and I say, let's
- 2:17Speaker 2: go to Taco Bell at 2 in the morning, just
- 2:19Speaker 2: take me home. I got no business going there, okay? Anyway,
- 2:23Speaker 2: but it got me to thinking about some of that.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I even woke up and had extra tacos still this
- 2:29Speaker 2: morning on my counter. Like I bought so much food.
- 2:32Speaker 2: I don't even know what the hell I was thinking.
- 2:34Speaker 2: But it got me to thinking of where's your drunk place?
- 2:36Speaker 2: Like when you go out and you get drunk, what's
- 2:40Speaker 2: your drunk food? Is it a place? Do you go
- 2:43Speaker 2: home and cook? I mean, sometimes I'll go home and
- 2:45Speaker 2: cook if I know I have food at the house
- 2:47Speaker 2: at two in the morning. But when you get drunk,
- 2:52Speaker 2: what is it that you get? What is your drunk food?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Everybody's done it. You go out drinking. You're drinking too much.
- 2:59Speaker 2: You get drunk, right? So you're heading back to the house,
- 3:03Speaker 2: but before you head home, you got to stop somewhere
- 3:06Speaker 2: and get some food, right? Or maybe you go home
- 3:09Speaker 2: and eat. I don't know. I remember one time I
- 3:13Speaker 2: was at my buddy's house, and we were drinking, partying,
- 3:15Speaker 2: having a great time. I think it turned about 1 a.m.,
- 3:19Speaker 2: Everybody was like, we're hungry, we're hungry, we're hungry, right?
- 3:23Speaker 2: And so we just went in my boy's freezer, pulled
- 3:27Speaker 2: out some ribs and some steaks and just threw them
- 3:29Speaker 2: on the grill. Oh, R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. So what is your drunk food?
- 3:36Speaker 2: What do you do when you're drunk? What do you eat?
- 3:38Speaker 2: You know, you got no business eating it, but we
- 3:40Speaker 2: all do it, right? Usually fast food, right? R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. You know,
- 3:43Speaker 2: it's got to be Denny's. After a night of drinking
- 3:49Speaker 2: at the bar, hanging out at the club, you know
- 3:51Speaker 2: you head to Denny's afterwards. I'll tell you something about Denny's.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I actually did that one night and went to a
- 3:58Speaker 2: Denny's with some friends of mine and didn't eat because,
- 4:00Speaker 2: like I said, I've been trying to not eat unnecessarily, right?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Not cutting everything out, being real strict on a diet plan,
- 4:09Speaker 2: but just eating unnecessary. That's what I cut out. So, yeah. Yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 2: All righty, 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7. Yo, Rome,
- 4:19Speaker 2: back in the day, we would go out drinking, and
- 4:22Speaker 2: my spot was Zingo's. Oh, yeah, Zingo's had a great,
- 4:27Speaker 2: Zingo's was a great, but they had really good food.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I don't know what it's like now. I haven't been
- 4:31Speaker 2: there since they've gotten new owners, but Zingo's had really
- 4:34Speaker 2: good food. That wasn't, that didn't just, you didn't just
- 4:38Speaker 2: need to be drunk to eat Zingo's. Zingo's was good.
- 4:40Speaker 2: All righty, 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7. So like
- 4:44Speaker 2: I said, man, where did you go? What did you do?
- 4:46Speaker 2: You drink too much. You're drunk. And for some reason,
- 4:51Speaker 2: we always eat. We always eat. And it's always something
- 4:54Speaker 2: we have no business eating. Already 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7. Yo, Rome. Man,
- 5:00Speaker 2: I used to call Taco Pronto. We'd be messed up
- 5:03Speaker 2: at the house. Taco Pronto would be there in an hour.
- 5:07Speaker 2: That's funny. That's pretty funny. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Like I said, man,
- 5:12Speaker 2: when you get drunk, what do you eat? Well, last
- 5:14Speaker 2: night I went out drinking and I drank more than
- 5:16Speaker 2: I should have. I didn't mean to. And whoever the driver, Uber, Lyft,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I don't know what it was, took me through Jack
- 5:24Speaker 2: in the Box. I had no business. I ordered like
- 5:26Speaker 2: 30 things, ate some of it, woke up this morning.
- 5:29Speaker 2: It was still bags of food on my counter. There
- 5:32Speaker 2: was no business. It didn't feel great. Just no business
- 5:35Speaker 2: eating it, right? But that's what happens when you drink
- 5:38Speaker 2: too much. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Rome, my drunk place is In-N-Out.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Me and my boys last time bought 25 burgers and
- 5:47Speaker 2: ate them all. One night, I'm going to tell you
- 5:50Speaker 2: a funny one night, I was out drinking with some
- 5:52Speaker 2: friends of mine. And we went to In-N-Out. We didn't
- 5:57Speaker 2: know they were closed, so we were just sitting in
- 5:59Speaker 2: the drive-thru. Couldn't figure out why we were the only
- 6:02Speaker 2: ones in the drive-thru. Took us a little bit, but
- 6:04Speaker 2: we figured it out. Good morning, Al. What's going on?
- 6:08Speaker 1: My go-to place is La Vila.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah, we used to do that back in the day.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 6:17Speaker 4: The tacos there and the asada burritos or the asada fries.
- 6:24Speaker 4: When you are drunk.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And then the thing is, if you're just a little.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Bit drunk and you want to get a little bit
- 6:30Speaker 2: more drunk, they.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Come with the lemon. You got the lemon.
- 6:32Speaker 2: You go get some more tequila.
- 6:36Speaker 1: So, yeah. It's all in all. You get the food.
- 6:39Speaker 4: You get the partner.
- 6:40Speaker 1: The companion to your liquor. If you want some more,
- 6:43Speaker 1: some lemon.
- 6:43Speaker 2: All right. Well, thanks for calling. Later.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Later.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, somebody else texted me and said, hey, Romeo, my
- 6:49Speaker 2: drunk food is either La Via or Jack in the Box.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You know, I forgot the spot. By the way, this
- 6:54Speaker 2: is a little old school. Some of you guys might
- 6:57Speaker 2: not know this spot. But the old school spot, old
- 7:01Speaker 2: school drunk spot, line every night was Wing Wah. Wing Wah?
- 7:09Speaker 2: My boy, when I first moved to Bakersfield, one of
- 7:11Speaker 2: my buddies came down to visit me. And we were
- 7:14Speaker 2: out drinking. He goes, where are we going next? I said,
- 7:17Speaker 2: we're going to go right across the street to Wing Wall.
- 7:20Speaker 2: He goes, what? Never seen that before. Yeah, Wing Wall. R-8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 7:24Speaker 2: That's old school, though.
- 7:27Speaker 3: R-8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Where's your drunk spot? You know, you get drunk. What
- 7:31Speaker 2: do you eat? Maybe you go home and cook. I
- 7:32Speaker 2: don't know. Last night, yeah, I did a little too much.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Went a little hard last night with my friends and
- 7:38Speaker 2: ended up rolling through Jack in the Box. And I just, man,
- 7:42Speaker 2: I Got me to thinking, man, every time you get drunk, right,
- 7:46Speaker 2: there's something you go to. There's some go-to food you
- 7:49Speaker 2: just got to have. We got no business eating it.
- 7:52Speaker 2: You know you got no business eating it. I had
- 7:54Speaker 2: no business. I bought way too much. I still got
- 7:57Speaker 2: food on the counter I'm going to throw away when
- 7:58Speaker 2: I get home because I didn't need 40 tacos or
- 8:01Speaker 2: whatever silliness I got. And I shouldn't have even gone there.
- 8:05Speaker 4: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 8:06Speaker 2: But everybody goes out drinking sometimes. Or every time. You
- 8:12Speaker 2: stop somewhere. Morning, how's it going on?
- 8:14Speaker 4: Top of the morning, Mr.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Romeo!
- 8:16Speaker 2: What up, my man? Hey, man, you don't remember back
- 8:20Speaker 2: in the days, man, we.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Used to go get the three crunchy tacos for 99
- 8:24Speaker 4: cents at Del Taco? Man, they give me the worstest gas, remember?
- 8:31Speaker 2: I remember.
- 8:34Speaker 4: That's how you knew we all ate Del Taco, man.
- 8:36Speaker 4: We would get half of it, man.
- 8:38Speaker 2: For a dollar, man. That's awesome. That's awesome.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Yeah, man, but, you know, now you got to hear
- 8:45Speaker 4: La Villa on Union by the Train Track. That one
- 8:48Speaker 4: stays cracking, man.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Oh, that one is the one.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You're right.
- 8:51Speaker 2: You're right.
- 8:51Speaker 4: That's the one you hear that late at night.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and that hot sauce is good for just getting
- 8:58Speaker 2: that once you're drunk. Oh, man.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, and you're going to wake up the next
- 9:02Speaker 4: morning still tasting it.
- 9:04Speaker 2: All right. What about it? All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7-8, you
- 9:10Speaker 2: having cheese fans? I get some McDonald's. Me and my
- 9:13Speaker 2: wife pick up the kids from the parents, and we'll
- 9:16Speaker 2: go to the drive-thru drunk and get them happy meals,
- 9:19Speaker 2: and we order food as well. Okay. Okay. I got
- 9:27Speaker 2: to be honest with you. McDonald's has never crossed my
- 9:31Speaker 2: mind after drinking. I don't know why it's never crossed
- 9:34Speaker 2: my mind. We're talking about drunk foods, right? You get
- 9:36Speaker 2: drunk and we always eat. We got no business eating,
- 9:39Speaker 2: but we always go somewhere. It's always something bad. Always
- 9:42Speaker 2: something bad. We've talked about being out of town. I
- 9:46Speaker 2: can tell you a couple of stories about being out
- 9:47Speaker 2: of town and having late night partying. And you're trying
- 9:52Speaker 2: to scramble because you don't have no spot. You don't
- 9:54Speaker 2: know you're from a different town.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Right?
- 9:56Speaker 2: I was trying to think. One night we ordered this.
- 10:00Speaker 2: found some pizza spot, ordered everything to the hotel. And,
- 10:04Speaker 2: you know, there's a lot of towns out there, unlike Bakersfield,
- 10:07Speaker 2: that's prepared for that, right? Late night spots because, you know,
- 10:09Speaker 2: people are out partying. Yeah, being out of town is crazy.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Those are other stories. When you were drunk out of town,
- 10:17Speaker 2: you know, I was in Paso one time, And there
- 10:20Speaker 2: was a taco dude out in front of Pappy McGregor's. Boy. Yeah.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Sometimes you eat stuff you shouldn't. I'm trying to think
- 10:28Speaker 2: of all the different things I've done. Anyway. All right. 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Good morning. How's it going on? Yo, Ro. What up, man?
- 10:37Speaker 1: Hey.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I know what you're talking about. The In-N-Out thing.
- 10:40Speaker 1: When it's the parking lot, it happened to us.
- 10:44Speaker 2: We drove up. So we drove up to In-N-Out. And
- 10:48Speaker 2: what was bad was... There was four of us. Right.
- 10:51Speaker 2: And my buddy's wife was driving. She was sober and
- 10:55Speaker 2: we were wasted. So she had three drunk fools with
- 10:59Speaker 2: her and she she didn't even notice that we got
- 11:03Speaker 2: we got to in and out. We thought, oh, man,
- 11:05Speaker 2: the line isn't busy. Let's go. We're ready. But it
- 11:08Speaker 2: was close. Yeah, we sat there. The people were still
- 11:11Speaker 2: in there cleaning up. We just sat there.
- 11:15Speaker 4: You're like, hey, let's make animal style.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Everything, bro. Yeah. We look like idiots sitting in the drive-thru.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Only one in the drive-thru. It didn't register that they
- 11:25Speaker 2: were closed because nobody was in. It always has a
- 11:27Speaker 2: full drive-thru. What made us think we got that lucky?
- 11:32Speaker 4: All the actual workers came on. They're like, hey, we're closed.
- 11:36Speaker 4: You know that, right?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Oh, that's great. All right, man. Thanks for calling. I'm
- 11:40Speaker 2: glad I'm not the only idiot. But that was the
- 11:43Speaker 2: worst part. We had a sober driver. She still didn't recognize.
- 11:48Speaker 2: My go-to spot when I'm drunk is Taco Bell. Oh
- 11:54Speaker 2: my God, it's so delicious. Shout out to Wasco. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: Taco Bell. That's another spot. Man, but yeah. Yeah, I
- 12:02Speaker 2: agree with you. Egg rolls, tacos, I mean... You know
- 12:11Speaker 2: what the bad part about Bakersfield is? And I learned
- 12:13Speaker 2: this a few weeks ago. Bakersfield doesn't have a place
- 12:18Speaker 2: to go late at night that has good food. You
- 12:21Speaker 2: know what I'm saying? Like, sometimes you just don't want
- 12:23Speaker 2: fast food. You want to eat, but you don't want
- 12:25Speaker 2: fast food. Bakersfield doesn't have a spot that stays open
- 12:28Speaker 2: late that has good food. You know? A higher quality
- 12:31Speaker 2: of food. What'd you text me here? It says, hey, Rome.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I was hoping you could help me. Hey, there's this
- 12:38Speaker 2: hot guy that I work with. and I've been wanting
- 12:41Speaker 2: to hook up with him, but he's had a girlfriend,
- 12:44Speaker 2: and I found out she broke up with him a
- 12:46Speaker 2: week or so ago. I think this is my chance
- 12:49Speaker 2: to get some from him. My friends say I can't.
- 12:53Speaker 2: It would make me look like a hoe, and he
- 12:56Speaker 2: wouldn't be interested. What do you think? I'm not looking
- 12:59Speaker 2: for a relationship.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Well, I mean.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Um, I think your friends are idiots. I think you,
- 13:08Speaker 2: I think your friends are wrong. Do your friends want
- 13:11Speaker 2: him by any chance? Is there a chance that your
- 13:13Speaker 2: friends want to hook up with them? Because for your
- 13:15Speaker 2: friends to tell you that and discourage you from what
- 13:19Speaker 2: I would consider the perfect time for you to take
- 13:22Speaker 2: your shot, if you're not looking for a relationship and
- 13:24Speaker 2: you just want to, you know, have fun for a
- 13:27Speaker 2: while with him, then yeah, that's the perfect time. He
- 13:31Speaker 2: needs to heal. He needs help. He needs, you know,
- 13:33Speaker 2: he needs somebody to be their shoulder to cry on. And,
- 13:36Speaker 2: you know, why not? You know, here's the problem with
- 13:42Speaker 2: a lot of people, especially when it comes to women.
- 13:46Speaker 2: You're not a hoe. If you want to hook up
- 13:48Speaker 2: with a guy that you think is attractive and you're
- 13:51Speaker 2: hot and he's hot or whatever, you guys are whatever.
- 13:54Speaker 2: you know, attracted to each other and you just want
- 13:56Speaker 2: to hook up, there's nothing wrong with that. I mean,
- 13:59Speaker 2: not every relationship is supposed to be a long-term relationship,
- 14:06Speaker 2: you know? Now, look, I'm not saying go out with
- 14:09Speaker 2: six guys or six girls in one night, but what
- 14:12Speaker 2: I'm saying is having something for a couple of weeks
- 14:17Speaker 2: or a couple of months that's just strictly superficial and
- 14:21Speaker 2: that's strictly something, you know, having a good time There's
- 14:25Speaker 2: nothing wrong with that. People need that, you know? And especially,
- 14:30Speaker 2: I don't know how old you are, but especially if
- 14:33Speaker 2: you're not ready for a relationship, what does that mean?
- 14:37Speaker 2: And I don't know, are your friends in relationships? Is
- 14:40Speaker 2: that why what's going on? But here's the problem with
- 14:43Speaker 2: a lot of people. You think that somebody's a hoe
- 14:49Speaker 2: because they just want to have short-term relationships and Because
- 14:53Speaker 2: that's all they're ready for right now. You don't look
- 14:56Speaker 2: at that side of it. You don't look at the
- 14:58Speaker 2: fact that maybe that's all they have time for in
- 15:01Speaker 2: their life right now is short-term relationships or superficial relationships
- 15:07Speaker 2: because you don't know what's going on. She might have
- 15:10Speaker 2: a career. I have no idea. So you have no idea.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Not every relationship is meant to be forever. It's not.
- 15:22Speaker 2: And when people, people just, what in the hell is
- 15:27Speaker 2: wrong with you? Don't leave her alone. You're fine. No,
- 15:31Speaker 2: take your shot. You know, this is a perfect time
- 15:34Speaker 2: for you to take your shot. He's going through something.
- 15:36Speaker 2: He just got dumped. He probably needs a shoulder to
- 15:39Speaker 2: cry on and a bed to lie in. And you
- 15:41Speaker 2: could be that if that's what you're looking for. Don't
- 15:44Speaker 2: listen to your friends. Check this out. This is what
- 15:46Speaker 2: this woman sent me. She says, hey, Roma, I was
- 15:47Speaker 2: hoping you could help me out. There's this hot guy
- 15:50Speaker 2: that I work with. I've been wanting to hook up
- 15:52Speaker 2: with him, but he's had a girlfriend. I found out
- 15:55Speaker 2: she broke up with him a week or so ago.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I think this is my chance to get some from him.
- 16:01Speaker 2: My friends say I can't. It would make me look
- 16:03Speaker 2: like a hoe, and he wouldn't be interested. What do
- 16:06Speaker 2: you think? I'm not looking for a relationship. Well, if
- 16:07Speaker 2: you're not looking for a relationship, then no. Why are
- 16:10Speaker 2: your friends betting against you? That's the problem. I think
- 16:14Speaker 2: your friends are wrong, and I think this is a
- 16:16Speaker 2: great time for you to take your shot, get what
- 16:18Speaker 2: you want out of it, and you'll probably make him
- 16:20Speaker 2: feel better, build up his self-esteem. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Good morning. What's
- 16:27Speaker 2: going on?
- 16:28Speaker 1: Hey, what's up, Roman?
- 16:29Speaker 2: What up, Roman?
- 16:30Speaker 3: Man, I agree with you, bro.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Are the friends wanting you?
- 16:35Speaker 4: Because, I mean, why is she going.
- 16:36Speaker 1: To be with you if you want to hook up
- 16:37Speaker 1: with them?
- 16:39Speaker 2: I have no idea. I didn't get that. They didn't
- 16:43Speaker 2: tell me that. She didn't tell me why. But, yeah,
- 16:47Speaker 2: there ain't nothing wrong, girl.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Shoot your shot.
- 16:48Speaker 4: There ain't nothing wrong with it. I mean, he's single,
- 16:51Speaker 4: especially you waited until he was single. I mean, come on.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Why are you looking bad?
- 16:55Speaker 4: You're even looking better like that.
- 16:56Speaker 2: You would think so, but I guess you're funny.
- 16:58Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 16:59Speaker 4: But, hey, bro, like I always say, haters are going
- 17:01Speaker 4: to hate, and some of those are in your group.
- 17:02Speaker 4: You know what I mean? So, she don't need to
- 17:07Speaker 4: listen to anybody, not even us. She knows what to do.
- 17:10Speaker 4: She's got it going. I mean, just do your.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Thing, bro. Yeah. Shoot your shot.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Don't worry about anybody else because 90% of them people
- 17:17Speaker 3: are going to hate on you.
- 17:19Speaker 2: All right, brother. Later, man.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Later, bro.
- 17:20Speaker 2: All right, man. He's not wrong.
- 17:22Speaker 3: I mean.
- 17:23Speaker 2: You waited till his girlfriend broke up with him. He's hot.
- 17:26Speaker 2: You're into him. If he's into you, take your shot.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Now's a good time. You might even do him a
- 17:31Speaker 2: favor and help him heal after being dumped. I mean,
- 17:35Speaker 2: you might be doing a solid for this dude. And
- 17:38Speaker 2: if you're not looking for, the problem is you guys
- 17:42Speaker 2: are so dumb.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Rd425477.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo, how can you tell people to date without, without,
- 17:49Speaker 2: Without taking into consideration it being a long-term relationship, you're
- 17:54Speaker 2: never going to give it your all if you think
- 17:56Speaker 2: it's just a fling. That's not how it works. That's
- 18:02Speaker 2: not how it works at all. You go into it
- 18:05Speaker 2: with a carefree attitude. and it turns into something more
- 18:09Speaker 2: than that based on the enjoyment of the relationship. If
- 18:14Speaker 2: you go into every relationship thinking that person is the one,
- 18:20Speaker 2: you're just a psychopath. You're an insecure psychopath. What are
- 18:24Speaker 2: you talking about? Romeo, at least she waited for him
- 18:29Speaker 2: not to have a girlfriend. Yeah, because these hoes in
- 18:32Speaker 2: Bakersfield will be trying to take people's men. You ain't lying.
- 18:36Speaker 2: this woman said, Mrs. Hey, Rome, I was hoping you
- 18:38Speaker 2: could help me out. There's this hot guy that I
- 18:41Speaker 2: work with and I've been wanting to hook up with him,
- 18:43Speaker 2: but he has had a, he's had a girlfriend, found
- 18:45Speaker 2: out she broke up with him a week or so ago.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I think this is my chance to get some from him.
- 18:51Speaker 2: My friends say I can't, it would make me look
- 18:53Speaker 2: like a hoe and he wouldn't be interested. What do
- 18:56Speaker 2: you think? I'm not looking for a relationship. Well, if
- 18:58Speaker 2: you're not looking for a relationship, then no, you're, why
- 19:01Speaker 2: are your friends betting against you? That's the problem. I
- 19:04Speaker 2: think your friends are wrong, and I think this is
- 19:06Speaker 2: a great time for you to take your shot, get
- 19:08Speaker 2: what you want out of it, and you'll probably make
- 19:11Speaker 2: him feel better, build up his self-esteem.
- 19:14Speaker 4: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Good morning, now. What's going on? Good morning, Romeo. Hey,
- 19:19Speaker 2: what's up?
- 19:21Speaker 4: Yeah, be careful with these girls in Baker.
- 19:22Speaker 1: So don't let ladies know anything about your man or anything.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Don't worry about my life real quick. I had a.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Family member who broke up with a boyfriend.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And I had told her that there's a guy that
- 19:37Speaker 1: I was being with.
- 19:38Speaker 2: And come to find out two weeks later that or
- 19:41Speaker 2: three weeks later that they.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Were looking up, they became boys and girlfriends. And they
- 19:48Speaker 1: were with each other, I think, a year.
- 19:50Speaker 4: And they broke up.
- 19:51Speaker 1: And she went right back to this other, the one
- 19:53Speaker 1: right before this one.
- 19:54Speaker 2: So I feel like it's like a waste of time
- 19:56Speaker 2: sometimes for people.
- 19:57Speaker 3: They do rush into stuff.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Like, you know, you need to wait. When you break
- 20:03Speaker 1: up with somebody, wait. I'm not talking about other people
- 20:06Speaker 1: to wait on. The people that get broken up, like, hey,
- 20:09Speaker 1: if you want, take your chance.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Take your damn chance. But.
- 20:12Speaker 1: As far as jumping.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Into relationships, like you just said, you have a mental
- 20:16Speaker 2: issue problem. Oh, yeah. You've got to go into a
- 20:21Speaker 2: carefree and just, hey, whatever happens, happens. And if something happens, oh,
- 20:26Speaker 2: my God, something happened. Now we're boyfriend-girlfriend. Now we're in
- 20:28Speaker 2: a relationship. Now we're married.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 20:30Speaker 2: But if you go into it thinking, this is the
- 20:32Speaker 2: person I'm going to marry, I mean, when it doesn't
- 20:34Speaker 2: work out, then you're going into the next one thinking
- 20:36Speaker 2: the same thing. What kind of psychopath are you? Yep.
- 20:40Speaker 4: You see girls be posting, I'm in love.
- 20:42Speaker 2: You don't even know what the heck is love. You
- 20:45Speaker 2: just met them yesterday.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Come on.
- 20:49Speaker 2: You're in love, you don't even know where he live
- 20:50Speaker 2: or his last name, but you're in love.
- 20:53Speaker 4: No, he's still with his baby mama.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Hey, you can't be in love if you ain't met
- 21:00Speaker 2: his kids yet. Oh, that's hilarious.
- 21:06Speaker 1: All right, well, thanks for calling.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I appreciate it.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Look, man, just so you guys.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Know, not every relationship is a long-term relationship, okay? Some
- 21:12Speaker 2: relationships are just flings. for a lot of different reasons.
- 21:35Speaker 2: When I was in college, this girl I went to
- 21:38Speaker 2: college with, she was high society, right? Country club, millionaire parents,
- 21:43Speaker 2: multi-multi-millionaire parents, just way out of my league. And you
- 21:49Speaker 2: know what? She went slumming, you know. She wanted to
- 21:53Speaker 2: hang out, and you know what? I did. But you
- 21:56Speaker 2: don't go into it knowing, ah, this is the girl.
- 21:58Speaker 2: She's the hottest, richest girl at school. You know, what
- 22:00Speaker 2: are you going to do?
- 22:01Speaker 1: No.
- 22:02Speaker 2: She's way out of my league. There's no way I
- 22:03Speaker 2: could ever afford to provide a lifestyle for her that
- 22:07Speaker 2: she's used to. The one that her dad provides for her.
- 22:12Speaker 2: You know, there's another guy for that. That guy's, there's
- 22:15Speaker 2: another guy for that because that's the guy that's going to,
- 22:18Speaker 2: and she is. Right now, she's married to some multimillionaire,
- 22:21Speaker 2: doesn't work, drives a G-Wagon, does all, you know. I mean,
- 22:24Speaker 2: we stayed friends afterwards, but we both knew. We were just, hey,
- 22:27Speaker 2: a couple of months, went out for a couple of months,
- 22:29Speaker 2: and that's all it was ever going to be You know,
- 22:34Speaker 2: I like to party. I have friends that own bars.
- 22:36Speaker 2: So she liked to party and hang out, got it
- 22:37Speaker 2: out of her system. And now she's, you know, whatever.
- 22:40Speaker 2: But you have to know that going in. And that's
- 22:43Speaker 2: where a lot of you get, you know, you get
- 22:45Speaker 2: messed up because you don't realize not every relationship is
- 22:50Speaker 2: happily ever after with a marriage and a kid and
- 22:53Speaker 2: a white picket fence, you know, and a Yukon. It's
- 22:56Speaker 2: just not how it works. And the sooner you realize that,
- 23:00Speaker 2: the better off you'll be. What's going on?
- 23:03Speaker 1: What up, Romeo?
- 23:04Speaker 2: What up, man?
- 23:05Speaker 4: Alright, man, I gotta answer that question, bro. I was
- 23:08Speaker 4: thinking about it for a couple minutes, but I got
- 23:10Speaker 4: an answer for you.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Alright, so look, if I was a guy and the
- 23:16Speaker 4: female broke up with me and there was a girl
- 23:20Speaker 4: interested in me and we see each other every day
- 23:23Speaker 4: at work or whatever days they work, I would say, hey,
- 23:27Speaker 4: let's agree on a place and a time and uh
- 23:31Speaker 4: a day and nothing more than just a freaking hookup
- 23:34Speaker 4: okay okay and i think.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Every man thinks like that i don't i don't think
- 23:39Speaker 2: you're original i think every dude thinks like that.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah most definitely who's not gonna get a a
- 23:46Speaker 4: female that is interested in you after especially after a
- 23:48Speaker 4: breakup bro i know like take advantage of it dude Yeah,
- 23:57Speaker 4: but we don't know how he feels.
- 23:59Speaker 2: We just know what she wants to do. So we
- 24:01Speaker 2: only got her side of it. He might be down.
- 24:03Speaker 2: At least I hope he's down. But we'll see.
- 24:05Speaker 4: What happens, I guess. Yeah, that's true.
- 24:08Speaker 2: That's true.
- 24:08Speaker 4: One more thing.
- 24:09Speaker 2: What?
- 24:10Speaker 4: Go Broncos.
- 24:11Speaker 2: All right. Good morning, Al. What's going on?
- 24:15Speaker 4: Romeo, I kind of feel flattered.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Uh.
- 24:20Speaker 2: It sounds like the lady that's calling is Cecilia.
- 24:24Speaker 1: From the bakery department. She's had her eyes on me
- 24:27Speaker 1: for a while.
- 24:27Speaker 2: You know, at some point, I just got to start
- 24:34Speaker 2: hanging up on him. I mean, at some point, I
- 24:37Speaker 2: just got to hang up on him. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7.
- 24:41Speaker 2: But I'm with the first guy that called. I mean,
- 24:42Speaker 2: if you're a guy, you're probably going to feel flattered
- 24:44Speaker 2: that somebody wants you. You're probably going to feel a
- 24:47Speaker 2: little better, especially if you just got dumped. It's going
- 24:49Speaker 2: to help you with your self-esteem that somebody's been looking
- 24:51Speaker 2: at you, right? So as far as she goes, though,
- 24:55Speaker 2: her friends are giving her terrible advice. I just don't
- 24:58Speaker 2: know why. I just don't know why.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, Rome, so you're saying poor people can't be
- 25:09Speaker 2: with rich people? Oh, no, no, that's not what I'm saying.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I'm just saying that this girl I knew in college,
- 25:17Speaker 2: she was rich, rich. I mean, there's a difference between rich,
- 25:21Speaker 2: rich and just, you know, upper middle class and middle class.
- 25:25Speaker 2: There's a huge gap is what I'm trying to tell
- 25:28Speaker 2: you between the life that I... Look at me, I'm
- 25:30Speaker 2: a dumb DJ right now. You know, she's living in
- 25:33Speaker 2: a multimillion-dollar mansion driving a G-Wagon. I can't even afford
- 25:36Speaker 2: to spell G-Wagon, you know? So, I mean, yeah, it
- 25:40Speaker 2: was just something that you knew was never going to happen.
- 25:43Speaker 2: It was never going to be long-term because, well, now
- 25:46Speaker 2: her man is some head fund guy or something that
- 25:48Speaker 2: makes millions. I don't make millions. I barely make a thousand. So, yeah, no.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I'm not saying it can't happen. I'm just saying it
- 25:57Speaker 2: doesn't normally happen. You got to know what you're getting
- 25:58Speaker 2: yourself involved in. Hey, what up, bro? Hey, what up, man?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Hey, see, this is the problem right here. Okay, there's
- 26:04Speaker 1: two scenarios. First of all, homegirl was right. These chicks nowadays,
- 26:12Speaker 1: a single girl, she could keep another friend single, right?
- 26:16Speaker 2: Yes.
- 26:16Speaker 1: They don't want to see each other happier doing better
- 26:19Speaker 1: than themselves.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Let's get that out of the way.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I would agree with that. Okay. All right.
- 26:22Speaker 3: So the second part is.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Hey, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Just like a fat girl will get a skinny girl
- 26:31Speaker 2: fat more than a skinny girl will get a fat
- 26:33Speaker 2: girl skinny.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Sure, but hold on now, but hold on now.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:39Speaker 1: So what if, hypothetically, let's look at it from the
- 26:42Speaker 1: other angle.
- 26:43Speaker 3: What if she's okay with sleeping around, no strings attached,
- 26:48Speaker 3: and she.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Does it pretty often, and maybe it's.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Like, hey.
- 26:52Speaker 1: You know, you can't be doing that because you're looking
- 26:54Speaker 1: like a hoe.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Maybe that's what she meant.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Maybe, but I.
- 26:59Speaker 1: You know, some girls are, you know, some girls are down.
- 27:03Speaker 3: They're legit. They won't sleep around. They'll sleep with just
- 27:05Speaker 3: one dude.
- 27:06Speaker 2: There's girls out there like that. No, I get it,
- 27:08Speaker 2: but I don't buy that premise that a single woman
- 27:11Speaker 2: who wants to, you know, sleep around, as you put it,
- 27:14Speaker 2: makes her a hoe. I don't buy that premise because... No, no, no.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm saying her friends are telling her that because that's
- 27:21Speaker 1: what they're saying she's turning out to be.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Well, she's not, though. Her friends are haters. Let's say
- 27:27Speaker 2: the friend is a monogamous woman who's married and is
- 27:29Speaker 2: trying to tell her how to live her life. She
- 27:31Speaker 2: has no business telling her how to live her life.
- 27:34Speaker 2: We and you live such different lives, we probably have
- 27:37Speaker 2: no business telling each other how to live our lives.
- 27:39Speaker 2: You do you, I do me, because we're at different places.
- 27:43Speaker 2: And I'm just guessing. But that's what I'm saying about that.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Hypothetically, that's probably what her friend was meaning by that,
- 27:50Speaker 1: and maybe she's taking it as Oh, she's going to
- 27:52Speaker 1: say I'm a hoe.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Well, maybe you've been sleeping around a lot and you're
- 27:56Speaker 2: telling your friends. She doesn't need to be your friend.
- 27:59Speaker 2: A good friend will support you even if you think
- 28:03Speaker 2: it's a bad decision. What's a bad decision to you
- 28:05Speaker 2: might not be a bad decision to me, okay? Her
- 28:10Speaker 2: hooking up with a guy because they're both single is
- 28:13Speaker 2: not a bad decision for anybody except somebody who doesn't
- 28:17Speaker 2: like the decision. And that person is wrong.
- 28:21Speaker 3: I agree.
- 28:21Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 28:22Speaker 1: But maybe it's her friend that's trying to tell.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Her this and that.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Sure.
- 28:26Speaker 1: When in reality, it's like, you don't know, you know?
- 28:29Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 28:29Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Maybe hypothetically, it's her friend calling her a hoe.
- 28:34Speaker 3: No sane person is going to tell.
- 28:36Speaker 2: We all know what a hoe is.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Everybody does.
- 28:38Speaker 2: But.
- 28:38Speaker 3: I mean, the two longest relationships I've ever been in
- 28:41Speaker 3: was me just hooking up with a chick that I've
- 28:43Speaker 3: known or, you know, one night, not a one night stand,
- 28:46Speaker 3: but the first night we're together, we're together.
- 28:48Speaker 2: And, you know, I was.
- 28:49Speaker 3: With some of these women for five, six years.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And just like you said, it's not always going to
- 28:54Speaker 1: work out.
- 28:55Speaker 2: They're not always going to work out. All right. All right, man.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Appreciate the phone call, brother.
- 28:58Speaker 4: All right, brother.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Thank you. Later, man. But that's what you got to understand, man.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Not every relationship is forever after. Okay? It's not. In fact,
- 29:09Speaker 2: most of your relationships should be short-term relationships that may
- 29:16Speaker 2: or may not turn into something, may or may not
- 29:18Speaker 2: turn into forever after. So, and you guys got to
- 29:23Speaker 2: understand that, all right? You'd be a lot happier and
- 29:27Speaker 2: you'd make much better decisions if you understood the reality
- 29:29Speaker 2: of life as it pertained to relationships. Let's see here.
- 29:34Speaker 2: All right, 8, 4, 2, 5, 4, 7 to 7. Hey, Rome.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Let's see. She isn't hanging out with the wrong friends.
- 29:47Speaker 2: I meant to say she's hanging out with the wrong friends. Oh,
- 29:49Speaker 2: she's hanging out with the wrong. She is. Most friends
- 29:52Speaker 2: say go for it. And then want to hear the
- 29:55Speaker 2: details the next day. But that's what a friend should do.
- 29:59Speaker 2: What you think is a bad decision may not be
- 30:01Speaker 2: a bad decision for my life. Now, we all know
- 30:04Speaker 2: there's some obvious bad decisions. But hey, in the moment,
- 30:08Speaker 2: this may be what everybody needs. And just because you
- 30:11Speaker 2: don't agree with it as her friend makes you a
- 30:16Speaker 2: horrible person because you're telling her you shouldn't do this
- 30:20Speaker 2: because you'll look like a hoe. No, she's not going
- 30:23Speaker 2: to look like a ho. She looks like a woman
- 30:25Speaker 2: who wants to hook up with a guy who is single,
- 30:29Speaker 2: who just got dumped. That's going to be, that could
- 30:34Speaker 2: be beneficial to both parties. She gets what she wants.
- 30:37Speaker 2: He gets a little boost to his ego and all
- 30:39Speaker 2: of a sudden he can move forward and everybody's happy.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I got to tell you what happened last night, actually early,
- 30:45Speaker 2: early this morning. So ridiculous, right? So when I got
- 30:50Speaker 2: up this morning at 3, I had three missed messages
- 30:53Speaker 2: from like midnight. And I listened to them this morning.
- 30:57Speaker 2: And it's one of my buddies, a boy, my boy Ed.
- 31:00Speaker 2: He lives down in San Diego, right? Well, he calls me.
- 31:03Speaker 2: And I didn't answer, obviously. So he left me three messages.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Three times he called me in a row. And he
- 31:08Speaker 2: proceeds to tell me about one of our friends, James.
- 31:10Speaker 2: So my buddy James, check out. My buddy James and
- 31:13Speaker 2: his wife, he caught his wife cheating on him. And
- 31:17Speaker 2: they lived here in California and they actually lived in
- 31:20Speaker 2: San Diego. That's with my other buddy. Yeah, they lived
- 31:23Speaker 2: in the same area. His wife cheated and they had
- 31:27Speaker 2: a kid together. Well, James and his wife had a
- 31:31Speaker 2: kid together. And so then she ends up cheating on him.
- 31:37Speaker 2: And so they split up. They break up. They get divorced. Right.
- 31:41Speaker 2: This happened a year, 18 months ago. Something happened maybe
- 31:44Speaker 2: two years ago, something like that. Right. So she decides
- 31:46Speaker 2: that she's going to go move to, I think it
- 31:49Speaker 2: was Michigan is where she lives now. They moved to Michigan, right?
- 31:52Speaker 2: Her and her kid are going to move to Michigan. Well,
- 31:55Speaker 2: James didn't want to be away from his kid, so
- 31:57Speaker 2: he moved also. Not to be with her, not to say,
- 32:01Speaker 2: but he just wanted to be around his son. So
- 32:03Speaker 2: they moved to Michigan. So this is so ridiculous. So
- 32:10Speaker 2: now let me tell you this. A lot of my
- 32:11Speaker 2: friends make really good money. They're all college educated dudes,
- 32:14Speaker 2: went to, you know, And are very successful. So James
- 32:17Speaker 2: just moved his business over to Michigan. Well, apparently his
- 32:21Speaker 2: ex had started dating some dude. She was living with him.
- 32:25Speaker 2: They were having a relationship. Everything was going great between
- 32:29Speaker 2: her and the guy. I guess James said the dude
- 32:31Speaker 2: was cool. He didn't even have a problem with him.
- 32:33Speaker 2: And his kid being around him. So everything was going great. Well,
- 32:35Speaker 2: it turns out she ends up cheating on him. So
- 32:40Speaker 2: now she loses her meal ticket with this new guy. Well,
- 32:45Speaker 2: now this is where everything got wild and why I
- 32:48Speaker 2: got three phone calls in a row from my buddy Ed.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Because after this new guy kicked the girl and the
- 32:57Speaker 2: kid out of the house, she runs back to my
- 33:00Speaker 2: buddy James. And James takes him in, right? This is
- 33:05Speaker 2: where my boy Ed is just flipping out. Calls me, oh,
- 33:08Speaker 2: you got to call him. You got to talk to him.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I can't believe he's doing this. What's wrong? She's going
- 33:11Speaker 2: to manipulate him, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. James is
- 33:17Speaker 2: 45 years old, okay? He is not some dumb kid.
- 33:23Speaker 2: And it sounds to me like he's just trying... Now,
- 33:25Speaker 2: I haven't talked to him yet. Like I said, this
- 33:26Speaker 2: all just happened today. So I called Ed back this
- 33:32Speaker 2: morning when I got up and told him to calm down.
- 33:34Speaker 2: What's wrong with you? Relax. Why are you flipping out
- 33:36Speaker 2: over James? He's a grown-ass man, you know? And he's obviously...
- 33:44Speaker 2: doesn't want his kid on the street. So part of
- 33:47Speaker 2: doing that means you got to take in the ex,
- 33:50Speaker 2: you know, whore who cheated on you. What are you
- 33:53Speaker 2: going to do? Let your kid live on the street?
- 33:55Speaker 2: I mean, and then I just thought to myself, why
- 33:59Speaker 2: do you care, Ed? Why are you so wound up
- 34:03Speaker 2: over this? I understand we've been friends for 20 something years,
- 34:07Speaker 2: 20 plus years we've all been friends, probably longer than
- 34:09Speaker 2: that since we were in high school. But What in
- 34:14Speaker 2: the hell is wrong with you, man? Why do you care?
- 34:18Speaker 2: He's a grown-ass man. He'll be fine. Do you think
- 34:24Speaker 2: they're going to get back together? I mean, what do
- 34:26Speaker 2: you think's happening? He's just trying to make sure his
- 34:30Speaker 2: kid's not living in the street. Because his mom's an idiot.
- 34:34Speaker 2: So what do you.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Sometimes you people need to mind your own business. I
- 34:39Speaker 2: know the internet has made it very hard for people
- 34:41Speaker 2: to do that nowadays. But sometimes... You need to just
- 34:44Speaker 2: mind your own business. He's going to be fine. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Why do you people care so much? Think about what
- 34:57Speaker 2: is it really going to do to my buddy Ed?
- 35:01Speaker 2: Let's say my boy James gets screwed over all over
- 35:03Speaker 2: again in some capacity. How does it affect Ed? It's
- 35:09Speaker 2: like a math problem, huh? If train A leaves at
- 35:11Speaker 2: 2 and train B leaves at 3.15... Why do you care?
- 35:16Speaker 2: At least to the extent that you're going to call
- 35:17Speaker 2: me three damn times at midnight. You guys need to
- 35:22Speaker 2: get a life. So, yeah, one of my friends called
- 35:26Speaker 2: me today three times, calls me three times in the
- 35:30Speaker 2: middle of the night to tell me that a friend
- 35:32Speaker 2: of ours who moved to Michigan, yeah, Michigan, moved to
- 35:37Speaker 2: Michigan to be around his son. So what happened was
- 35:39Speaker 2: my boy James, they were living in San Diego. And
- 35:42Speaker 2: he does very well for himself. So his wife ends
- 35:46Speaker 2: up cheating on him. They have a kid together. James
- 35:49Speaker 2: and the wife have a kid together. The wife cheats
- 35:51Speaker 2: on him. She decides she's going to move to Michigan
- 35:52Speaker 2: for some reason. And so he decides he's going to
- 35:57Speaker 2: move over there, too. He's going to move out to
- 35:58Speaker 2: Michigan to be closer to his son. He doesn't want
- 36:00Speaker 2: to not be around his son. So he does all that. Apparently,
- 36:03Speaker 2: she was with a guy who was taking care of her. Now,
- 36:05Speaker 2: this woman's not really the working type. She's more of
- 36:07Speaker 2: the marrying type. But apparently, she's not faithful, so... This
- 36:11Speaker 2: guy that she was living with, taking care of, and
- 36:14Speaker 2: James said he was a great guy, was taking care
- 36:16Speaker 2: of her and the kid. And he was seeing his
- 36:19Speaker 2: son and she ends up cheating on this guy. So
- 36:21Speaker 2: now she's thrown out. So my boy Ed calls me
- 36:24Speaker 2: to yell at, not to yell at me, but I
- 36:26Speaker 2: got to, you got to tell James, you got to
- 36:28Speaker 2: call James. You got to like, I got to do
- 36:30Speaker 2: a damn thing. James is a grown ass man. And
- 36:34Speaker 2: so what happened was James let his ex and his
- 36:38Speaker 2: kid move in with him. Or stay with him for now.
- 36:44Speaker 2: My boy Ed's flipping out. He never should have done it.
- 36:46Speaker 2: She's going to get back and manipulate him. He's being taken.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Who cares? My God. It's his kid. What do you
- 36:53Speaker 2: want to do? Leave your kid hanging? I mean, what
- 36:57Speaker 2: do you want to do? What do you want him
- 36:59Speaker 2: to do?
- 37:00Speaker 3: You know?
- 37:01Speaker 2: Yeah. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Yo, Rome. What he needs to do is
- 37:04Speaker 2: you take the kid in and leave the hoe for
- 37:07Speaker 2: the streets. Is that even possible? What are the laws?
- 37:16Speaker 2: There's laws, right? Doesn't the mom always get the kid?
- 37:19Speaker 2: I don't know what the laws are for getting your kid.
- 37:21Speaker 2: I agree with you. I guess he could have done that,
- 37:23Speaker 2: you know, just taking the kid and let her hang
- 37:26Speaker 2: out on the streets. I get it. But legally, can
- 37:29Speaker 2: you do that as the father? The mom has to agree, right?
- 37:34Speaker 2: I've known her. I know James' ex, and she's, you know,
- 37:40Speaker 2: she's not just, you know, bass head living on the streets,
- 37:43Speaker 2: jumping from guy to guy. She lives pretty high society.
- 37:46Speaker 2: She jumps from Richmond, you know, my boys got, got
- 37:50Speaker 2: real money. And the next guy, she had this guy,
- 37:53Speaker 2: apparently that she was with it. Uh, she was cheating
- 37:56Speaker 2: on the kicker. I had real money too. So she's not,
- 37:59Speaker 2: she's not picking up schlubs. Um, I don't even know
- 38:03Speaker 2: if you can do that. Right. Can you, can you
- 38:05Speaker 2: do that? I mean, what do you guys do?
- 38:08Speaker 4: I know.
- 38:09Speaker 2: And you know, it's funny that you say that because
- 38:10Speaker 2: there's a lot of you idiots here in Bakersfield that
- 38:13Speaker 2: take care of your son's mother out of obligation or
- 38:16Speaker 2: your child's baby mama because you feel some obligation to
- 38:19Speaker 2: take care of that person because they have your kids.
- 38:22Speaker 2: So can you blame my boy for doing it? I
- 38:25Speaker 2: don't know. Man, what a long night I had. Well,
- 38:28Speaker 2: I guess it wasn't too long, but I woke up
- 38:30Speaker 2: this morning to three messages from a friend of mine.
- 38:33Speaker 2: My boy Ed was trying to tell me what happened
- 38:36Speaker 2: and apparently couldn't wait till I get up at 3 a.m.
- 38:39Speaker 2: I couldn't wait until 3 a.m. He had to call
- 38:42Speaker 2: me in the middle of the night to let me know.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Just frantic. Just panicking. So stupid. So ridiculous. A friend
- 38:52Speaker 2: of ours named James, he moved to Michigan a while
- 38:57Speaker 2: back because him and his ex, his baby mama, she
- 39:01Speaker 2: cheated on him. She decided to move out of state.
- 39:04Speaker 2: He followed her to be closer to his son. He
- 39:07Speaker 2: didn't want to live He didn't want to be this
- 39:09Speaker 2: far away from his kid. He wanted to be around
- 39:12Speaker 2: him every day. So he just picked up and moved,
- 39:14Speaker 2: and he could. He has a great business, very successful
- 39:16Speaker 2: business that he does that he could just move. It
- 39:19Speaker 2: was no big deal for him. So she shacked up
- 39:23Speaker 2: with another dude. Another dude, she was the stay at home,
- 39:25Speaker 2: you know, stay at home, wife, stay at home, you know, whatever.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I don't think they got married, but stay at home. And, um,
- 39:31Speaker 2: so she ended up cheating on this guy. Well, she got,
- 39:32Speaker 2: the guy caught her, kicked her out. Now she got
- 39:35Speaker 2: nowhere to go. She called up my boy, James. That's
- 39:37Speaker 2: why my, my other friend was calling me so frantic.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Oh my God, he's taking her back. He's like, they just,
- 39:42Speaker 2: she got kicked out. So now they're staying with him now.
- 39:45Speaker 2: And I'm like, okay, first of all, why do you
- 39:47Speaker 2: give a damn? Whatever he does does not affect you
- 39:50Speaker 2: one bit at all. Second of all, and this is
- 39:55Speaker 2: the most important of all, why the hell are you
- 39:58Speaker 2: calling me at midnight three times in a row to
- 40:00Speaker 2: tell me that I need to call him and talk
- 40:03Speaker 2: to him? You know? I mean, okay, I'll call him.
- 40:08Speaker 2: I'll talk to him. But I'm not going to talk
- 40:10Speaker 2: to him like you think I am. I mean, my
- 40:12Speaker 2: thought when I heard it all was, my first thought was, okay. Okay.
- 40:17Speaker 2: He doesn't want his kid on the street. The mom
- 40:21Speaker 2: screwed up again. She got kicked out, lost her man,
- 40:24Speaker 2: and he doesn't want his kid on the street. So
- 40:26Speaker 2: I guess part of that is taking in the mom also. Now,
- 40:29Speaker 2: somebody else said, well, taking the kid, leave the mom hanging.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I don't know if you can do that, but I
- 40:33Speaker 2: don't know. He's not really that type of guy. He's
- 40:37Speaker 2: kind of a good guy. So maybe that's why. I
- 40:39Speaker 2: don't know. But it's not that huge of a deal. Okay.
- 40:46Speaker 2: And it's not. So, uh, important for you to be
- 40:49Speaker 2: so wound up in the way that my buddy is.
- 40:52Speaker 2: It's just stupid. Hey, good morning, Rome. Uh, to answer
- 40:55Speaker 2: your question, you're in California. Yes, it's bad for the dad. Girls, but, yeah,
- 41:02Speaker 2: but they don't live in California. They live in Michigan now.
- 41:05Speaker 2: I think it's, yeah, Michigan now. Uh, it's bad for
- 41:08Speaker 2: the dad. Girl is way more right when it comes
- 41:10Speaker 2: to the kids, but other places have, oh, I see
- 41:12Speaker 2: what you're saying. Sorry, I didn't finish it. Other places
- 41:14Speaker 2: have different, uh, different regulations. I don't know about where
- 41:19Speaker 2: he or she's living. I didn't hear where you said
- 41:23Speaker 2: she was staying at. Oh, they're in Michigan. They're in Michigan.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Some little rich suburb of, I don't know, somewhere in Michigan.
- 41:31Speaker 2: I don't know. I had never, I've never been there. So,
- 41:36Speaker 2: I mean, I talked to James pretty frequently because him
- 41:38Speaker 2: and I are, you know, you know how it goes.
- 41:40Speaker 2: And when you have a large group of friends, some
- 41:43Speaker 2: some friends are closer to others than y'all. Y'all still friends,
- 41:46Speaker 2: but within that group, some people are a little closer.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Him and I are a little closer. But, so I
- 41:53Speaker 2: guess this all happened within the last day or two.
- 41:57Speaker 2: And I haven't had a chance to talk to him
- 41:58Speaker 2: about it, but apparently my other boy found out and
- 42:01Speaker 2: is just losing his mind over it. Which, I don't know.
- 42:05Speaker 2: I don't know why. I mean, what is wrong with
- 42:08Speaker 2: you people? First of all, everybody needs to relax, okay?
- 42:11Speaker 2: And second of all, If his only option, and I
- 42:16Speaker 2: don't know what the rules are, but if his only
- 42:18Speaker 2: option to keep his kid out of a shelter or
- 42:20Speaker 2: off the streets or whatever is to take in his ex,
- 42:28Speaker 2: who's his baby mama, his ex-wife, who's his baby mama,
- 42:31Speaker 2: then what do you care? What's he going to lose?
- 42:36Speaker 2: I mean, seriously. So a buddy of mine called me
- 42:39Speaker 2: about another buddy of mine who apparently... The other buddy
- 42:44Speaker 2: of mine has an ex-wife with a kid. They had
- 42:48Speaker 2: a kid together, ex-wife who cheated on him. So he
- 42:51Speaker 2: divorced her. She has the kid. She moved out to
- 42:55Speaker 2: another state. And she was living with another guy who
- 42:58Speaker 2: was taking care of her. And she cheated on him.
- 43:02Speaker 2: She got kicked out. Her and the son were out
- 43:04Speaker 2: on the streets. My boy James said, come stay with me.
- 43:07Speaker 2: And now another friend of ours is just all up
- 43:11Speaker 2: in arms about it. I can't believe he did it.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Good morning. How's it going on? Hey, what up, bro? Hey,
- 43:15Speaker 2: what up, brother?
- 43:16Speaker 1: Hey, bro, I believe I can speak on this because
- 43:18Speaker 1: I've been in this situation before. Okay. Mind you, he's
- 43:23Speaker 1: a good dude. Now, me, at a younger age, I
- 43:26Speaker 1: would have been like, hell no, just drop the kid
- 43:28Speaker 1: off and I'll figure it out to the mom. Like
- 43:33Speaker 1: I said, he's probably a good dude, you know?
- 43:36Speaker 2: Well, can you... I don't know if you can even
- 43:38Speaker 2: do that legally, right? If she says no, then you can't...
- 43:42Speaker 2: There's nothing... You can't legally do that, right?
- 43:46Speaker 1: Well, no, I mean, I've dealt with child support and
- 43:49Speaker 1: all that. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Whatever they have,
- 43:54Speaker 1: you know, and maybe your friend is so mad because.
- 43:56Speaker 4: Because....
- 44:00Speaker 1: You know, he got this dirty, and he was in
- 44:02Speaker 1: maybe the bank. I don't know the story.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to put it to you like this,
- 44:05Speaker 2: and I'm going to be honest with you. Of all
- 44:08Speaker 2: my friends, about nine out of ten of them had
- 44:10Speaker 2: all been done dirty by someone. But it's not because
- 44:15Speaker 2: they didn't deserve it.
- 44:18Speaker 1: No, yeah, but what I'm saying is, like, the guy,
- 44:21Speaker 1: your other friend that's calling you, that's probably why he'd
- 44:23Speaker 1: make no more. That's probably why he's freaking out. At
- 44:25Speaker 1: the end of the day, it's none of his business.
- 44:28Speaker 1: now that I'm older and it's been like, you know,
- 44:30Speaker 1: my son's mom, you know, went through some stuff and
- 44:32Speaker 1: I'm like, yo, like, you know, I pay child support.
- 44:35Speaker 1: You know, I do the stuff, you know, Hey, I
- 44:37Speaker 1: have a one bedroom apartment. Like I ain't got much,
- 44:39Speaker 1: but you ain't got nowhere to go. You and the
- 44:40Speaker 1: kids got a room.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Sure.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I'll sleep on the couch, you know? And then, cause
- 44:44Speaker 1: at the end of the day, you gotta set an
- 44:47Speaker 1: example for your kids, you know? Like I don't disrespect
- 44:49Speaker 1: my son's mom. I don't talk about her bad in
- 44:51Speaker 1: front of my son, like at all, really, you know,
- 44:54Speaker 1: now that I'm older.
- 44:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Um, So the other guy, he's like, you need to relax.
- 44:58Speaker 4: It's not your business.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Ed does need to calm down. He gets a
- 45:02Speaker 2: little excitable, though. He's a little excitable. I don't know.
- 45:05Speaker 1: The other negative part, if he has a woman, which,
- 45:08Speaker 1: I mean, maybe he does, but that might affect his relationship,
- 45:10Speaker 1: letting her move in, you know?
- 45:13Speaker 2: Oh, you know what? He does not. No, he doesn't
- 45:15Speaker 2: have a woman. You know, no, no, he doesn't have
- 45:18Speaker 2: a woman. I don't know how long they're staying. It
- 45:20Speaker 2: all just happened last night or the night before. So
- 45:23Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I'm saying like if he does have a woman, that
- 45:26Speaker 1: might affect his relationship.
- 45:28Speaker 2: But if he doesn't, who knows?
- 45:29Speaker 4: Maybe, you know, maybe she understands. Like, you know what?
- 45:33Speaker 4: I had a good thing.
- 45:34Speaker 1: It's time for me to start over, and maybe his
- 45:36Speaker 1: family can get back together, you know?
- 45:38Speaker 2: Oh, no, she's a cheating whore. She's a cheating whore.
- 45:40Speaker 2: She's done just like the third or fourth dude she
- 45:42Speaker 2: done cheated on.
- 45:42Speaker 4: No, it ain't.
- 45:43Speaker 2: No, it ain't.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Oh, no, repetitive cycle? Yeah, he's the way better dude
- 45:47Speaker 1: than I am.
- 45:48Speaker 2: He ain't getting back together. I mean, he might hit
- 45:50Speaker 2: it while she's living there, but he ain't getting back together.
- 45:53Speaker 2: No way in heck he's doing that. No way. But
- 45:57Speaker 2: I'll find out. I'll call him today and find out
- 45:59Speaker 2: what's going on. All right.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Hey, is that the repeated cycle?
- 46:04Speaker 2: He's a better dude than I was.
- 46:05Speaker 1: I'm going to close the door on her like a
- 46:06Speaker 1: baby boy.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Get out of here.
- 46:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:10Speaker 2: All right. I mean, what are you going to do, bro?
- 46:13Speaker 2: You don't want your kid on the street. But then again,
- 46:15Speaker 2: you don't, you know, what are you supposed to do?
- 46:18Speaker 2: All right. Eight, four, two, five, four, seven, seven. I
- 46:22Speaker 2: always love it when people tell me I'm stupid. Rome,
- 46:24Speaker 2: you're just some sort of simp. I bet your boy's
- 46:26Speaker 2: the same way. Gonna let his ex back in the
- 46:29Speaker 2: house after she cheated on him. Kid or no kid,
- 46:32Speaker 2: I would never let it happen. Well, it's just because
- 46:35Speaker 2: you're a punk-ass dude. I mean, you're just a punk-ass dude.
- 46:39Speaker 2: That's why. Because the reality is this. If you're a
- 46:42Speaker 2: real dude, if you're a real man, you know, you'll
- 46:45Speaker 2: handle yours. And even if you get done dirty, you
- 46:48Speaker 2: just move on. And you rise above it. And if
- 46:52Speaker 2: you've got to take care of your kid in whatever
- 46:55Speaker 2: capacity that means, and you feel like you're getting screwed
- 46:58Speaker 2: over by child support, you're just a punk-ass dude. Take
- 47:00Speaker 2: care of the kid. Make sure the kid has it.
- 47:02Speaker 2: And go make more. And go live a better life.
- 47:05Speaker 2: I mean, what is wrong with you? Man up. Big
- 47:08Speaker 2: tragedy in my friend group overnight, I found out. A
- 47:12Speaker 2: buddy of mine, Ed, he calls me middle of the night. Now,
- 47:17Speaker 2: I don't have my phone, so if you call me
- 47:19Speaker 2: in the middle of the night, I'm not going to
- 47:20Speaker 2: get it until I wake up in the morning, okay?
- 47:22Speaker 2: So he calls me three times, gives me three separate messages.
- 47:25Speaker 2: A friend of ours who moved to Michigan to follow
- 47:27Speaker 2: his kid. A friend of ours who lived down in
- 47:29Speaker 2: San Diego. His wife cheats on him. They have a
- 47:33Speaker 2: son together. His wife cheats on him. He divorces her.
- 47:37Speaker 2: She ends up going out to Michigan for some reason.
- 47:39Speaker 2: I don't remember the reason why. And she's living with
- 47:42Speaker 2: some other dude who, once again, is taking care of her.
- 47:46Speaker 2: She's being the housewife or whatever. I don't know if
- 47:48Speaker 2: they were married either. I don't think they were married, though.
- 47:50Speaker 2: She ends up cheating on this guy. And do you
- 47:55Speaker 2: know what's funny, by the way? I'm going to tell
- 47:56Speaker 2: you real quick what's funny. She cheated on my buddy, James,
- 48:00Speaker 2: and this other guy, both because they work too much.
- 48:04Speaker 2: That was her logic for cheating, is they work too much.
- 48:07Speaker 2: At least that's why she said she cheated on my boy,
- 48:10Speaker 2: was because he was always at work. But why do
- 48:13Speaker 2: these dumbass women, you want to have this life of
- 48:15Speaker 2: luxury where you don't have to go to work And
- 48:17Speaker 2: you can just buy whatever you want and stay at
- 48:19Speaker 2: home all day and do whatever you want. But then
- 48:22Speaker 2: you're going to get mad because the dude that's paying
- 48:24Speaker 2: for all that has to go to work and pay
- 48:26Speaker 2: for all that. And then you're going to do him dirty.
- 48:28Speaker 2: And that's basically what she did. So James moves out
- 48:31Speaker 2: to Michigan to, you know, be around his son. He
- 48:35Speaker 2: didn't want to be that far away. Moved to the
- 48:37Speaker 2: same town, whatever. Everything's going good. So I guess she
- 48:40Speaker 2: got thrown out because she cheated on this other dude,
- 48:43Speaker 2: got kicked out. Now she needs a place to stay.
- 48:45Speaker 4: So....
- 48:47Speaker 2: What did he do? He let his son and her
- 48:49Speaker 2: move in with him for now. Well, stay with him.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I don't know they moved in, but it's only happened
- 48:53Speaker 2: a few days ago. So it's a big uproar in
- 48:59Speaker 2: my friends' group. Everybody's, oh, my God, I can't believe
- 49:01Speaker 2: you did this, blah, blah, blah. Bro, you got to
- 49:03Speaker 2: call him. You got to talk to him because you're
- 49:05Speaker 2: his best friend, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, yeah, I
- 49:08Speaker 2: don't care. I actually don't care. That's what he's going
- 49:12Speaker 2: to do, and that's what he's going to do. He's
- 49:13Speaker 2: a grown-ass man with his own money. So what do
- 49:17Speaker 2: you think is going to happen? And why are you
- 49:19Speaker 2: worried about it? To me, he's just getting his kid
- 49:21Speaker 2: out the street. You know, he just wants his kid
- 49:23Speaker 2: to have a place to stay and not be up. He, uh,
- 49:27Speaker 2: you know, yeah. Already four, two, five, four, seven to seven.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Hey Rome. I'm sure he didn't want his ex to
- 49:36Speaker 2: take their son and move back out of the state again.
- 49:39Speaker 2: If she had nowhere else to go, that's a great point.
- 49:44Speaker 2: She already got, she already cheated on him and headed
- 49:47Speaker 2: out of state with their son. So he had to
- 49:49Speaker 2: go follow her to be a son or follow his son.
- 49:51Speaker 2: And now she done cheated again and blew it all
- 49:54Speaker 2: up again. So you might be right. Maybe he just,
- 49:57Speaker 2: you know, trying to keep his son as stable as
- 49:59Speaker 2: possible for now. And if the cost of doing business
- 50:03Speaker 2: is making sure his ex isn't out on the streets,
- 50:05Speaker 2: then that's the cost of doing business, you know? Why
- 50:08Speaker 2: are you worried about it? Why do you care? I don't.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I mean, I'll give him a call today and I'll
- 50:14Speaker 2: talk to him about it, but I just don't care.
- 50:16Speaker 2: You got to do what you got to do. Why
- 50:17Speaker 2: are you people always up in everybody's business? Why do
- 50:21Speaker 2: you always... We had this conversation with Michael Bean the
- 50:23Speaker 2: other day. Why are you people always judging somebody else's
- 50:28Speaker 2: life based on the way you do things? He's just
- 50:34Speaker 2: trying to take care of his son, in my opinion. Now,
- 50:37Speaker 2: if If his ex, you know, cheating baby mama benefits
- 50:42Speaker 2: from that in some capacity, what are you going to.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Do?
- 50:46Speaker 2: You know? You got to make sure the kid, he
- 50:50Speaker 2: moved to another state. This is a California-raised boy. He
- 50:54Speaker 2: moved to another state to be close to his son.
- 50:59Speaker 2: What do you think he's going to do? Take care
- 51:01Speaker 2: of his son. And my buddies are just so, you
- 51:05Speaker 2: guys are just so... You're going to take L's in life.
- 51:10Speaker 2: All right? Stop acting like you're not. And you dudes
- 51:13Speaker 2: are so insecure and so afraid. Oh, my God, I'm
- 51:17Speaker 2: being taken advantage of. Well, you probably always were. But
- 51:23Speaker 2: just because you're taken advantage of doesn't mean you're a
- 51:28Speaker 2: weak-ass dude, especially when it comes to your kid. So
- 51:32Speaker 2: everybody needs to relax. Relax. It's just so childish and so,
- 51:38Speaker 2: you're just so, such insecure morons. It's unbelievable. I don't
- 51:47Speaker 2: know why it is, this is what I don't understand
- 51:49Speaker 2: about dudes. Dudes always feel like somebody's taking, they always
- 51:55Speaker 2: feel like their wife or their kid is taking food
- 51:58Speaker 2: out of their mouth. You know, taking food off your plate. Well,
- 52:03Speaker 2: just go get more food. Let them take the food
- 52:06Speaker 2: and go get more. Or their ex, I should say.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Ex and kid. Ex baby mama. You know, I'm not saying,
- 52:14Speaker 2: I'm not saying be taken advantage of to, you know,
- 52:18Speaker 2: just blatantly taken advantage of, but when... There are some
- 52:22Speaker 2: situations that, hey, you can't help. All right, so it's Romeo,
- 52:26Speaker 2: and a buddy of mine just texted me about something.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Somebody sent me a text message about coconut water, and
- 52:33Speaker 2: I didn't know what they were talking about. They said
- 52:35Speaker 2: they got to get coconut water off the radio, and
- 52:37Speaker 2: I didn't know what he was talking about. And then
- 52:39Speaker 2: a friend of mine just texted me right now. He says, Rome,
- 52:41Speaker 2: I got coconut water stuck into my head. I don't
- 52:45Speaker 2: know what it was until I guess it's a song
- 52:48Speaker 2: that I didn't know. Sometimes I don't pay attention to
- 52:53Speaker 2: everything that's playing on the radio because we're talking and
- 52:56Speaker 2: we're doing things. So I thought, I guess I better
- 52:59Speaker 2: listen to the song and see what you guys are
- 53:01Speaker 2: talking about, right? Yeah, I don't think I paid attention
- 53:10Speaker 2: to the song. Oh, that's hilarious. It's kind of catchy. Oh,
- 53:20Speaker 2: so that's what you guys are talking about. Coconut water.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 53:23Speaker 2: I don't pay attention to everything that happens, but that's hilarious.
- 53:47Speaker 2: That's pretty funny. Now I know why that they were, yeah.
- 53:51Speaker 2: That's why somebody said it's kind of a, you'll get
- 53:55Speaker 2: used to it. It'll turn into a catchy song. Don't
- 53:57Speaker 2: worry about it. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7-Rum. Yes, Coconut Water
- 54:02Speaker 2: is the most irritating song. Why did I think it
- 54:07Speaker 2: was irritating? I mean, it's just, you know, it's just
- 54:11Speaker 2: another song. I guess they can't all be hits, right?
- 54:14Speaker 2: Some of them got to be just.
- 54:18Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. It is kind of a weird,
- 54:24Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I don't know. It is what it is.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Already four, two, five, four, seven to seven. Hold on.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Hold on. I didn't need to play Chris Brown. I'll
- 54:34Speaker 2: do it in just a second. I wanted to talk
- 54:36Speaker 2: about coconut water and see what these guys were talking about.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 54:41Speaker 2: All right.
- 54:42Speaker 4: Um, sorry.
- 54:43Speaker 2: I was listening to, uh, uh, Rubber vans. I wasn't
- 54:48Speaker 2: even paying attention to what's going on. All right. 842-547-07.
- 54:52Speaker 2: What did you send me here? Let me get to
- 54:53Speaker 2: these text message here. Hey, Rome, this is Seahawk Lou.
- 55:00Speaker 2: I don't listen to them. Love to them. Love that song,
- 55:03Speaker 2: Coconut Water. Me and my kids sing it on the
- 55:06Speaker 2: way to school. Well, isn't it just like, what was
- 55:08Speaker 2: that song? The shark song, everybody was annoying, or you
- 55:14Speaker 2: thought that was annoying until you didn't. I mean, coconut water.
- 55:21Speaker 2: I don't think there's anything wrong with it. All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 55:25Speaker 2: What else we got going on here? Rome, that's annoying.
- 55:32Speaker 2: She used the Chris Bowne, Tyga beat, and Runda classic.
- 55:39Speaker 2: It's a girl that sings that song? Okay, Coconut Water.
- 55:48Speaker 2: It's 94.1. Yo, Rome, I don't know what's worse, Coconut
- 55:52Speaker 2: Water or 6'7. Who cares? Why do you guys care?
- 56:00Speaker 2: Why does it bother you so much? Why does that
- 56:03Speaker 2: song bother you so much? Hold on, let me see.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Coconut water is a minute and 50 seconds of what
- 56:14Speaker 2: you don't like. Why are you guys so worried about it?
- 56:18Speaker 2: You know what? Now I got to listen to the
- 56:19Speaker 2: whole song. Hold on. Hold on. Now I got to
- 56:22Speaker 2: listen to the whole song and see what it's all about.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Coconut water.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Coconut water. Coconut water, coca, coca, not water. And make
- 56:38Speaker 2: sure there's cookie tea, tea while we in Florida. He
- 56:40Speaker 2: said I'm built like a bad hoe. I'm like your hoarder.
- 56:43Speaker 2: I'm trying to hop on your face and spark.
- 56:45Speaker 1: It up like a motor.
- 56:46Speaker 4: Coconut water, coca, coca, not water.
- 56:48Speaker 1: And make sure there's.
- 56:49Speaker 4: Cookie tea, tea while we in Florida.
- 56:51Speaker 2: He said I'm built like.
- 56:51Speaker 4: A bad hoe.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I'm like your hoarder.
- 56:53Speaker 2: I'm trying to hop on your face and spark it
- 56:55Speaker 2: up like a motor. She think I act like a bougie.
- 56:58Speaker 4: I keep this loosey.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Clips got this corset on me. It's going to make
- 57:01Speaker 2: me hot juicy. It's a Rapola, but now I got
- 57:03Speaker 2: on that Gucci.
- 57:05Speaker 4: If you keep.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Talking, then I'm going to act like a moody. She
- 57:08Speaker 2: said I act like a bad hoe. I'm like a hoda.
- 57:11Speaker 2: I just got me a tan. Whoa, I ain't a flora.
- 57:12Speaker 2: I keep this dick in my sand.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Toes, I keep it loaded.
- 57:15Speaker 2: I'm in Dakota, sipping a Coca-Cola. All right, all right,
- 57:24Speaker 2: all right. There's nothing wrong with it. It's a catchy
- 57:26Speaker 2: little tune, you guys. Oh, that's great. All right, 8425477,
- 57:35Speaker 2: would you send me here? Hey, Rome, it's Gilrod. Good morning. Hey,
- 57:39Speaker 2: when the Coconut Water song comes on while listening to
- 57:42Speaker 2: the show, I always turn it down because I don't
- 57:45Speaker 2: want people around me to think I'm weird. Well, I'm
- 57:49Speaker 2: going to tell you right now. Why is that weird, Gilrod?
- 57:52Speaker 2: I mean, there's nothing wrong with it. It's got to
- 57:55Speaker 2: be popular. If we play it, it's got to be popular,
- 57:57Speaker 2: you know, because, yeah, we play it. almost just popular songs.
- 58:02Speaker 2: So it's got to be popular to a lot of
- 58:04Speaker 2: people if we're playing it. So you're not weird.
- 58:11Speaker 4: Hey, Rome.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Headbutt Radio here. That song is trash. I can't believe
- 58:15Speaker 2: it's on the radio. On another note, wife and I
- 58:19Speaker 2: was at Costco the other day, and I, we think
- 58:23Speaker 2: we saw our first male BBL. Is that a thing?
- 58:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Guys getting, what's a BBL? A butt lift? Yeah, that's
- 58:34Speaker 2: probably a thing. I don't see why guys wouldn't get
- 58:36Speaker 2: a butt lift, right? I don't know. I've never seen one,
- 58:41Speaker 2: but I'm thinking maybe it's a thing. Sure, why not?
- 58:46Speaker 4: I want to know what is Headbutt Raider doing looking
- 58:49Speaker 4: at another man's glutes?
- 58:52Speaker 2: I don't know. Are you that insecure with your manhood?
- 58:58Speaker 2: If you see something that stands out, you can't look
- 59:00Speaker 2: at it because it's on a man?
- 59:02Speaker 4: I don't look. That's not in my interest.
- 59:06Speaker 2: That says more about you. insecurities and problems than it
- 59:12Speaker 2: does about Headbutt Raider, though.
- 59:14Speaker 1: I think he should just be focusing on the rotisserie
- 59:16Speaker 1: chicken or the bakery section, not on what a man's doing,
- 59:21Speaker 1: especially his glutes. All right. Later.
- 59:24Speaker 2: I mean, if something stands out that's out of the ordinary,
- 59:27Speaker 2: regardless whether it's a man or a woman... I'm not
- 59:30Speaker 2: really sure how you don't notice something like that, but
- 59:33Speaker 2: I guess Raider Dave just got some phobias that he
- 59:39Speaker 2: needs to get over. R-D-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Yo, Rome, it was
- 59:44Speaker 2: a 49er fan and a Cowboy fan with the BBL. Oh, okay.
- 59:49Speaker 2: I don't know if BBLs, I don't know if men
- 59:54Speaker 2: are getting them or not. I haven't, I guess I
- 59:55Speaker 2: can ask Dr. Dev next time I talk to him.
- 59:58Speaker 2: I don't know. if that's a trend or a thing,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: or I just, I don't know. So headbutt rate, I
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: guess they saw a guy who they thought might've had
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: a BBL and he didn't know if that was a trend,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: if that was a thing, what's going on. I don't
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: really know a headbutt rate. I don't know what's going on. RD425477.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Hey Rome, if I see a big butt, I'm looking
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: male or female. It don't matter. Hey, Rome, speaking of football,
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: are you ready for football? It starts tomorrow. Yeah, I know.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Football starts tomorrow. Am I ready for it? Of course.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Why not? I did spend a lot of time. I
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: watched a lot of college football this weekend because obviously
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: college football is on Monday. What do they play? Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: I think they haven't played Monday. I think they played
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: all weekend long. But yes, I did watch. I'm ready
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: for some football. I think I'm interested to see what happens.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I'll watch the first game. You know, who's the first game?
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Seattle and Patriots? Is that what's on tomorrow night? Yeah,
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I'm ready. We'll talk about it. We're actually going to
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: talk about football a little bit. We're going to find
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: out what you're a fan. Apparently, the team that you
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: are a fan of says a little bit about your personality.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: We're going to find out how true that is, okay?
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: I got kind of a profile, personality profile about, the teams,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: and who you are. Good morning, Al. What's going on?
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Hey, what do I have to do to win tickets
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: to the Village Fest for this weekend?
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: You just got to keep listening. That's all I can
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: tell you. And what's the clue? Tell you when to
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: call in. Well, if you're listening to me, I'll just
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: tell you when to call in. Oh, great.
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: Okay, then.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Thank you. Romeo in the morning. Every morning. 94.1.
