- 0:49Speaker 1: as a juror. I went into a criminal trial. I
- 0:54Speaker 1: was there for two days. It was okay, all its parency.
- 0:59Speaker 1: It was a dwyk's how graphic violation. It was criminal.
- 1:04Speaker 1: He was up for a class A misdemeanor due to
- 1:07Speaker 1: his intoxication level. So anyways, we just talked about that
- 1:11Speaker 1: in depth of my entire experience from start to finish

- 1:18Speaker 1: to know that, that's where that's at. I'm not going
- 1:20Speaker 1: to rehash the whole things. It was quite the long story.
- 1:23Speaker 1: So yeah, it's a it's a long drawn out story
- 1:25Speaker 1: that wasn't that exciting, but of course I made it
- 1:28Speaker 1: into an entire personality trade of mine. So, and then
- 1:35Speaker 1: what else we got going on? Oh, we have so
- 1:38Speaker 1: fat like rate review subscribe five stars only TikTok?

- 1:50Speaker 2: We got two stars? What'd she say something about us
- 1:53Speaker 2: being terrible? Oh? Okay, but we only got two stars
- 1:56Speaker 2: instead of five.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, she's supposed to give us five stars, but then
- 1:59Speaker 1: say all the mean things about it. Yes, softened the blow.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You know, she said we were terrible. This was a
- 2:06Speaker 1: new review.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yes, why, I don't know. I forget. I'm going to
- 2:10Speaker 2: go back and rate it.
- 2:11Speaker 1: No, because it probably says something mean about me.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I don't think it's not.
- 2:15Speaker 1: It's just saying we're just terrible. Yes, why are we terrible?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Because of the wife? I think?

- 2:24Speaker 1: so we can boost that up and then TikTok. I'm
- 2:28Speaker 1: over five thousand at this point with Tiktoko. I know,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I know, I've just done all this and now they're
- 2:35Speaker 1: probably going to sell TikTok and it's all going to
- 2:37Speaker 1: be fucked anyway. So but go follow me on TikTok
- 2:41Speaker 1: and then Instagram, Facebook, and yeah, keep going there to
- 2:47Speaker 1: keep up with the new episodes and all the information.
- 2:50Speaker 1: But uh, and then what else do we have to do?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Oh no, I was just looking it, says ali is Me.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Seventy six says honestly, I don't know how there is
- 3:01Speaker 2: such a high writing on this podcast. Banter is terrible.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Seems like an unwell put together podcast. And unwell, yes,
- 3:10Speaker 2: she she doesn't kind of like her grammar. Yeah, unwell,
- 3:16Speaker 2: I mean I get the gist of it.
- 3:17Speaker 1: She just said a poorly put together podcast, not an
- 3:21Speaker 1: unwell put together podcast. I mean, what does she expect.
- 3:24Speaker 1: We're in a closet right now. Okay, we do not
- 3:27Speaker 1: have a recording studio. This is you know what it is.
- 3:29Speaker 2: It's a bunch of bullshit, Ali is Me, send me
- 3:31Speaker 2: a million dollars in Patreon, and yes, well by a
- 3:34Speaker 2: new studio, a five bedroom with a.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yes, we're trying to We're up against dateline, for god's sake. Okay,
- 3:40Speaker 1: we're trying to swing in here with the big the
- 3:43Speaker 1: big Dix. All right, we're just over here, just trying
- 3:46Speaker 1: to trying to make it by.
- 3:48Speaker 2: We got twenty children in a round. We only got
- 3:50Speaker 2: a small space in the town.
- 3:51Speaker 1: We have no help at all. Uh so, yeah, so
- 3:57Speaker 1: maybe Ato just closure shut Upstill, maybe you ought to
- 4:05Speaker 1: keep it in your pants. Ah anyways, all.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I wasn't so irresistible.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Okay, Well, anyways, all right, so let's go ahead and
- 4:14Speaker 1: don't be like Ali express and go and go rate
- 4:21Speaker 1: and give us a good review.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Yeap, Ali, go from two to five. You can leave
- 4:25Speaker 2: your words.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Okay, all right, everybody's tired of hearing about this, so
- 4:28Speaker 1: let's go ahead and get into this is the banter
- 4:30Speaker 1: she's talking about. That's terrible. So let's go ahead and
- 4:32Speaker 1: get into this week's episode of this episode out of
- 4:37Speaker 1: Georgia of the name of this band. Yes, I've forgot well,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I don't normally say that they got I got thrown off. Anyways,
- 4:44Speaker 1: let's go ahead and get in this week's case out
- 4:46Speaker 1: of Georgia. On November twenty third, twenty fourteen, in East Point, Georgia,
- 4:51Speaker 1: nine one one receives a call from Andre Pew stating
- 4:54Speaker 1: that his house had been broken into and that his
- 4:57Speaker 1: wife had been murdered. Now I know, he sounds really
- 5:01Speaker 1: frantic on the phone call. He told the operator that
- 5:04Speaker 1: He had been working as a DJ at the Onyx nightclub,
- 5:07Speaker 1: and he'd received an alert from his home surveillance that
- 5:10Speaker 1: the home had been broken into, or the not that
- 5:13Speaker 1: been broken into. The alarm goes off in the middle day,
- 5:15Speaker 1: the alarm company called him, Yes, well, he returned to
- 5:18Speaker 1: the house to find his wife murdered. Police arrive at
- 5:22Speaker 1: the scene and enter the home. On the first floor.
- 5:24Speaker 1: In the guest bedroom, they find Tiffany Pugh. She's thirty
- 5:28Speaker 1: years old. She is dead with a gunshot wound to
- 5:31Speaker 1: the head. Now, this is really the sad part. I mean,
- 5:36Speaker 1: the whole thing's said, but this is really disturbing part.
- 5:39Speaker 1: There was in the bed with her was her youngest child,
- 5:42Speaker 1: who I believe was around two years old, trying to
- 5:45Speaker 1: wake his mother up. Now the child was uninjured, thankfully,
- 5:50Speaker 1: but it seemed as if the so you're probably wondering, like,
- 5:54Speaker 1: why is the two year old in the bed with
- 5:57Speaker 1: the mother? Who is who has been murdered? As you
- 6:01Speaker 1: see the surveillance footage from their house, the father is
- 6:04Speaker 1: outside calling one and he thought that they were all
- 6:09Speaker 1: still asleep, which the old They had an older child
- 6:11Speaker 1: as well, and she was still asleep in bed, but
- 6:14Speaker 1: the youngest one apparently had gotten up and went in
- 6:16Speaker 1: there to look for his mom while she was asleep.
- 6:19Speaker 1: While he's out calling on the phone and trying to
- 6:23Speaker 1: wake her up and everything that.
- 6:24Speaker 2: So, but you got kids and a wife in the house,
- 6:26Speaker 2: and you're just going to stand outside and say, yeah,
- 6:28Speaker 2: there's been a.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Call for a murder and not get not be like,
- 6:31Speaker 1: my kids are still in danger because he didn't do it.
- 6:37Speaker 2: So he's what I'm saying, if he's outside on the
- 6:39Speaker 2: phone and he hasn't gone in the.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Check, oh, he has gone in. When he went in,
- 6:43Speaker 1: the kid wasn't in the bed with the kid. He
- 6:46Speaker 1: thought the other two children were asleep. But what I'm saying,
- 6:48Speaker 1: whenever I saw I was like, why are you outside?
- 6:50Speaker 1: I would be getting my children, wondering if the murderer
- 6:52Speaker 1: was still in the home or my other two children.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Pay But I guess whenever he went maybe he went
- 6:56Speaker 1: and checked on him. They were asleep, so he went out.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I don't know, it's questionable. We'll get into it.
- 7:02Speaker 2: They didn't specify it.
- 7:03Speaker 1: They didn't specify, but he thought that the children were asleep.
- 7:06Speaker 1: He did not realize the one child was in the
- 7:08Speaker 1: bed trying to wake his mother up, who had been shot.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's very disturbing situation with that.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Investigators are looking at this crime scene and they find
- 7:16Speaker 2: that the back gate is open and on the back
- 7:18Speaker 2: side of the house there's a window with no screen
- 7:21Speaker 2: that was also open, and it appeared that the murder
- 7:23Speaker 2: had entered the home there. There was also a side
- 7:26Speaker 2: door exiting the home, which they believe was how the
- 7:28Speaker 2: killer left the house, but just didn't close it all
- 7:31Speaker 2: the way. They believed that the rush to exit was
- 7:34Speaker 2: due to the burglar alarm system going on and the
- 7:38Speaker 2: intruder having to leave in a hurry.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yes, because it appeared that they did not have to
- 7:44Speaker 1: when they entered the home. It did not appear that
- 7:46Speaker 1: obviously the alarm didn't go off right them.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Because the door was open.
- 7:51Speaker 1: No, well, because they wouldn't have time to get in
- 7:54Speaker 1: and murder somebody that the burglar alarm was going off.
- 7:58Speaker 1: And so I'm guessing they had no contacts on the
- 8:02Speaker 1: door that window, or the window was left open.
- 8:05Speaker 2: There's probably no contact on that window. Yeah, from what.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Well, from your experience, I thought we had we have
- 8:13Speaker 1: contacts on all of our windows.
- 8:14Speaker 2: We do now, but one way bought the house. It didn't.
- 8:16Speaker 1: But a lot of alarm systems that installed do not
- 8:19Speaker 1: put the contacts because they're assuming that the windows open,
- 8:22Speaker 1: so they would have to they'll have like a glass break.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I'll cover numerous weathers, which.
- 8:26Speaker 1: We'll talk about later, but the alarm did not go
- 8:29Speaker 1: off initially when the window was open due to probably
- 8:32Speaker 1: no but so then you have to remember that's the
- 8:34Speaker 1: thing though. Then you have to remember to lot close
- 8:36Speaker 1: all your windows. And if you live in like a
- 8:38Speaker 1: nice climate where you might be able to open a
- 8:39Speaker 1: window every once in a while, which is not here,
- 8:42Speaker 1: not here, your house will be covered in dust.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll be covered in dust. Or it's two damn huh.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yes, those are the two options. So we don't really
- 8:50Speaker 1: open our windows here, but you can in Louisiana at
- 8:54Speaker 1: certain times of the year. You air out your house.
- 8:55Speaker 1: You got to go air out that house.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You do You even had them the mattic van.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah. When I was growing up, we had an
- 9:01Speaker 1: attic fan in Lufkin in that house and it was
- 9:04Speaker 1: so great because you would as soon as that first
- 9:07Speaker 1: Chris Bear would hit, you just open all the windows up,
- 9:10Speaker 1: clicking on and try it hopefully you got all the
- 9:12Speaker 1: doors where they're not gonna slam m h as it's
- 9:14Speaker 1: going through and it just airs out that whole house anyways,
- 9:18Speaker 1: So that's why the alarmed. They do not believe the alarm.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Alarm did not go off initially until later. But we'll
- 9:26Speaker 1: talk through that.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yeah, no spoiler alerts come on. As police looked at
- 9:31Speaker 2: the state of the home, it did not seem to
- 9:33Speaker 2: be out of order from the normal everyday living of
- 9:37Speaker 2: two adults and two children. This seemed odd to police
- 9:40Speaker 2: because they thought it was supposed to be an attempt
- 9:43Speaker 2: at burglary, but now it's looking like there was a
- 9:45Speaker 2: different motive. But as they looked, there was nothing taken
- 9:49Speaker 2: from the home, and Tiffany did not appear to have
- 9:52Speaker 2: been sexually assaulted or attacked in any way like she
- 9:58Speaker 2: was trying to be sexually assaulted and she fought back
- 10:00Speaker 2: or anything like that. When looking at the murder, they
- 10:03Speaker 2: found that the gunshot that she had been shot three times.
- 10:07Speaker 2: The first bullet miss Tiffany, went through the headboard, the
- 10:10Speaker 2: second bullet appeared to hit her in the chest, and
- 10:13Speaker 2: the third was to the head, which is what police
- 10:16Speaker 2: believed killed her. They believed the shot to the head
- 10:19Speaker 2: was execution style because doing their forensics, the angle was different.
- 10:24Speaker 2: It looked like the shooter had walked right up to
- 10:26Speaker 2: her and shot her in the head, where the other
- 10:27Speaker 2: ones looked like they were shot from the foot of
- 10:30Speaker 2: the bed at her. The murder weapon was also not
- 10:33Speaker 2: found at the scene, and the bullet casinges were missing
- 10:37Speaker 2: as well. They did not find any shoeprints, fingerprints, or
- 10:42Speaker 2: any type of forensic evidence at the scene other than
- 10:45Speaker 2: the body.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yes. Now, investigators began looking into Tiffany's life. They found
- 10:51Speaker 1: that she was described as a good mother. She did
- 10:53Speaker 1: not seem to have any issues with anyone, you know
- 10:57Speaker 1: obviously that are obvious obvious to them of an enemy,
- 11:02Speaker 1: like she did not have a nemesis or something crazy.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Like she was not the floor person at a criminal trial.
- 11:08Speaker 1: She had not just recently been the four person at
- 11:10Speaker 1: a criminal trial where the person was found guilty unanimously.
- 11:15Speaker 1: So she was described as fun loving and ambitious. Her
- 11:19Speaker 1: family lived in Las Vegas, but when it was time
- 11:21Speaker 1: for her to go to college, she really wanted to
- 11:23Speaker 1: attend Clark University in Atlanta, Georgia. So her family was
- 11:27Speaker 1: like Okay, you can.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I mean head to the other coast.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I mean, I've never been to Las Vegas.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I have. I love it, but I would not want
- 11:35Speaker 2: to love.
- 11:35Speaker 1: No, I'm saying, I don't think anybody wants to live there.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I mean, some people live there, but I've heard outside
- 11:40Speaker 1: the Strip, somebody's.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Got to live there so that I can go and
- 11:42Speaker 2: enjoy myself.
- 11:43Speaker 1: But I feel like when you go to the Strip,
- 11:45Speaker 1: it's the one thing I've never been, but you're going
- 11:48Speaker 1: for a good time. It's an experience. But then once
- 11:50Speaker 1: you exit the Strip, I've heard it's it's just barren.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Like it's like living in Midland. There's no trees, no
- 11:56Speaker 2: nothing else.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Yes, it's not pretty nothing. Parts of is that in Nevada? Yeah, okay,
- 12:03Speaker 1: there's parts of Nevada that.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Are Yeah, you get out into the desert and all that,
- 12:08Speaker 2: it looks. It's better desert than midline. I can tell
- 12:11Speaker 2: you that, yes, all right.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So she heads off to Atlanta, Georgia and start studying
- 12:17Speaker 1: business at Clark University, and this is where she meets
- 12:19Speaker 1: Andre Pew and they hit it off. After graduation, she
- 12:23Speaker 1: landed a job at Delta Airlines because Atlanta, Atlanta.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Huge, Delta, Coca Cola. That's Delta and.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Coca Cola, and she began working her way up to
- 12:33Speaker 1: being a manager. Well. While Tiffany was working her way
- 12:36Speaker 1: up at Delta, Andre was making a name for himself
- 12:40Speaker 1: in the club scene as DJ Awesome, which I'm not
- 12:44Speaker 1: sure if that's the best DJ name. I mean DJ awesome.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Everything is awesome, Everything is awesome. Lego movie got no,
- 12:55Speaker 2: I think the Lego movie came after that.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Yeah, So on February fourteenth, Valentine's Day, two thousand nine,
- 13:00Speaker 1: they went in a small ceremony and then had a
- 13:02Speaker 1: larger reception. Everyone was very happy for the couple and
- 13:06Speaker 1: they seemed to have, you know, everything going for them.
- 13:08Speaker 1: They both had good careers, thriving in the careers that
- 13:11Speaker 1: they wanted, a good relationship. Tiffany was very excited to
- 13:15Speaker 1: marry Andre, and then they would soon welcome two children
- 13:19Speaker 1: to complete their family over the next couple of years.
- 13:22Speaker 1: So really had everything. They lived in a nice house
- 13:26Speaker 1: in Atlanta, I mean sorry, not Atlanta East Point, which
- 13:31Speaker 1: is a suburb of Atlanta, is it now, Yes, Stuart,
- 13:34Speaker 1: that's what they say. That's what the Google maps say.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Oh, we've been to Atlanta once passed through in the
- 13:41Speaker 2: middle of the night in the on our way to
- 13:44Speaker 2: South Carolina. Yes, since police had no DNA or any
- 13:49Speaker 2: other forensic evidence to go off, they began looking at
- 13:52Speaker 2: video surveillance around the home. The home had about seven
- 13:56Speaker 2: cameras inside and out, and just before the arm was triggered,
- 14:00Speaker 2: they did find that a vehicle pulled up near the home. However,
- 14:04Speaker 2: the way the person was parked, they could not get
- 14:06Speaker 2: a license plate number or a video of the person
- 14:09Speaker 2: exiting the car.
- 14:10Speaker 1: They weren't creepy cameras in the house though, It's not
- 14:12Speaker 1: like that one that we covered where the guy had
- 14:14Speaker 1: the entire inside of the car all the way and
- 14:16Speaker 1: just yeah, they have the entryway. I believe it was
- 14:19Speaker 1: only the entryways the only one that they showed any surveillance,
- 14:21Speaker 1: which is probably what just to see who's coming in
- 14:24Speaker 1: the home.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and then when looking at the cameras on the
- 14:28Speaker 2: side of the home where they thought the killer would
- 14:30Speaker 2: have entered. Somehow, the killer never showed up on the video,
- 14:34Speaker 2: as if they were avoiding the cameras there around the
- 14:37Speaker 2: house like they knew where they were placed. So this
- 14:41Speaker 2: indicates that whoever was doing this most likely was familiar
- 14:45Speaker 2: with the camera placements and that it wasn't just a
- 14:47Speaker 2: lucky event that they they they just happened not show
- 14:51Speaker 2: up on video.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Because if you're walking up at a house and you're
- 14:54Speaker 1: going to commit this type of crime, you're looking unless
- 14:58Speaker 1: you're a complete idiot, you're looking around and you're like, oh,
- 15:01Speaker 1: there's a camera up there. There's a camera up here,
- 15:03Speaker 1: But you don't know exactly where they're pointing. I mean,
- 15:06Speaker 1: you can kind of tell, but you don't know the
- 15:09Speaker 1: you don't know the area that those cameras are covering
- 15:12Speaker 1: complete because I'm guessing because each camera has a different.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It's kind of filed up zoom you can zoom out.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't know exactly where. So it does seem
- 15:20Speaker 1: like whoever it was was familiar. Now with this information,
- 15:23Speaker 1: they need to take a deep dive into Andre aka.
- 15:27Speaker 2: DJ Awesome DJ Awesome.
- 15:29Speaker 1: So he said that he was working a gig at
- 15:32Speaker 1: the Onyx nightclub, which was his typical place to DJ
- 15:36Speaker 1: that evening, and came home to find his wife murder
- 15:39Speaker 1: Like he stated on the nine of one call, they
- 15:42Speaker 1: bring Andre to go over his story. Well, he said
- 15:45Speaker 1: that he was at the nightclub when he received a
- 15:46Speaker 1: call from the alarm company saying that the alarm was
- 15:49Speaker 1: going off. Well, he tells them just to go ahead
- 15:52Speaker 1: and silence the alarm because he didn't think anything was
- 15:56Speaker 1: going on because his wife's home. You know, his wife
- 15:58Speaker 1: and children are home. You know, I guess.
- 16:03Speaker 2: What are we doing here on draft?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Yep. So they shut the alarm off, and he tries
- 16:08Speaker 1: calling his wife three times, but she doesn't answer, and
- 16:12Speaker 1: so that's when he said he began to worry. Well,
- 16:14Speaker 1: he calls his boss and asked him if he could
- 16:17Speaker 1: would meet him at the house because he was concerned
- 16:20Speaker 1: about the alarm going off and his wife not answered
- 16:22Speaker 1: the phone. It's also middle of the night, I believe
- 16:24Speaker 1: when he was heading over there, it was closer to
- 16:28Speaker 1: he he silenced the alarm, but he's in the middle
- 16:30Speaker 1: of his DJ thing. So they this was around Was
- 16:36Speaker 1: it two eight? Why do I have two am? It's
- 16:38Speaker 1: not two am. That's when the guy was drinking and
- 16:40Speaker 1: driving that I just did that. This was further along
- 16:44Speaker 1: in the morning.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Jesus.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah. So anyway, so I was thinking two am because
- 16:48Speaker 1: that's when that one guy was picked up for drinking
- 16:51Speaker 1: and driving. That's why I was thinking two am. But
- 16:54Speaker 1: it's in the middle of the night, like she's so
- 16:56Speaker 1: for her not answered phone. He is worried, but she
- 16:59Speaker 1: also could just be sleeping. My phone is on silent and.
- 17:03Speaker 2: The alarm goes off. You're going to be up?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Oh yes, the smoke alarm outside of our room was
- 17:11Speaker 1: going low battery, And so I wakes you up because
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, maybe it'll stop. That's not how that works.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So I wake him up, and it's a stupid one
- 17:20Speaker 1: because it's eventually gonna wake the children because it's just
- 17:23Speaker 1: annoying enough to you know, to do that. And that
- 17:26Speaker 1: was a whole ordeal. Anyways, So he calls his boss
- 17:31Speaker 1: to meet him over there because he's worried about He's
- 17:34Speaker 1: concerned about Tiffany. So he arrives at the home before
- 17:38Speaker 1: his boss, and he goes ahead and he gets out,
- 17:42Speaker 1: he sees that side gate open, uh, you know, on
- 17:45Speaker 1: the side of his house, and he immediately is like, okay,
- 17:48Speaker 1: there's something wrong because that gate is never open. So
- 17:53Speaker 1: he goes ahead and enters the home and went down
- 17:56Speaker 1: where he knew his wife would be sleeping, and he
- 17:58Speaker 1: began calling out for her, and when she didn't respond.
- 18:01Speaker 1: He immediately knew something was wrong, and that's when he
- 18:03Speaker 1: enters the room. He noticed that she was not moving,
- 18:06Speaker 1: and that's when he ran out. He calls the police
- 18:08Speaker 1: and his boss shows.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Up just after shortly thereafter.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yes, so he told investigators that they were in a
- 18:16Speaker 1: happy marriage and that they didn't have any major issues,
- 18:19Speaker 1: just the normal day to day things of you know,
- 18:21Speaker 1: raising two children, your spouse just annoying the fuck out
- 18:25Speaker 1: of you, you know, things like that, moving on to
- 18:28Speaker 1: do it before you go on a rent. The one
- 18:30Speaker 1: thing that the officers, the investigators did find kind of
- 18:33Speaker 1: weird was like, why is she sleeping in the guest
- 18:35Speaker 1: bedroom when there's a perfectly good master bedroom right upstairs
- 18:38Speaker 1: where she could be sleeping. And he said that on
- 18:42Speaker 1: Saturday nights she would sleep down there because he did
- 18:45Speaker 1: not get home until five thirty in the morning, and
- 18:48Speaker 1: this way that he could come in go to sleep
- 18:50Speaker 1: without disturbing her, and that she could get up in
- 18:52Speaker 1: the morning without disturbing him. So, I mean, this seems legitimate,
- 18:56Speaker 1: you know, wow, makes sense.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Why wouldn't he sleep in the guest bestroom since he's
- 18:59Speaker 2: getting let's sleep.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe she likes to sleep in that room.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I don't know, possible, you can ask Andrey, all right,
- 19:07Speaker 1: So they did a swab of Andre's hands that night
- 19:11Speaker 1: for gunshot residue, and it came back negative. Investigators did
- 19:15Speaker 1: release Andre and continue to look into the evidence of
- 19:17Speaker 1: the crime scene, which was not much to go on.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Now. When police received records from the alarm company, they
- 19:24Speaker 2: discovered that the time of the alarm went off was
- 19:27Speaker 2: most time of the alarm went off, the time that
- 19:30Speaker 2: the I say that.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Or the time that alarm went off.
- 19:36Speaker 2: The time that the alarm went off was most likely
- 19:39Speaker 2: whenever the gun shots were fired. The house had a
- 19:43Speaker 2: glass break alarm or two, we don't know, and so
- 19:46Speaker 2: when the gun was fired, it would have been loud
- 19:49Speaker 2: enough that it would have triggered the glass break sensors.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I'm wondering if the first one maybe didn't or something
- 19:54Speaker 1: like that. And then that's when all of a sudden,
- 19:56Speaker 1: the person panicked and walked straight up to her and
- 19:58Speaker 1: shot her right in the head, you know, because they got.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Two shots off because the alarm started going off, and
- 20:05Speaker 2: he's like, oh shit, I got to make sure to
- 20:06Speaker 2: do this. Yeah, Well, see the way the glass break
- 20:09Speaker 2: works too. Is it goes with sound and pressure, so
- 20:12Speaker 2: they're usually a dual technology so that you don't get
- 20:15Speaker 2: false alarms. Yeah, so it'll take the sound wave plus
- 20:19Speaker 2: the sound itself change in the atmosphere.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Well, this was twenty fourteen. Did they have that type
- 20:26Speaker 1: of technology?
- 20:27Speaker 2: They did, They did.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Well, it's crazy to think that twenty fourteen was eleven
- 20:31Speaker 1: years ago. That's a long time and technology moves fast.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I mean, we didn't even know what AI was back then.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Well, we knew what it was, it wasn't, but.
- 20:39Speaker 1: It wasn't what it is today. We didn't know.
- 20:40Speaker 2: We ca in movies.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Yes, we didn't know. We could ask it questions and
- 20:44Speaker 1: it completely planned an entire vacation or something like that.
- 20:49Speaker 2: So basically, getting back to our story, this meant that
- 20:52Speaker 2: the killer had to leave in a very rushed manner
- 20:57Speaker 2: right after shooting off the weapon. They had a better
- 21:01Speaker 2: understanding of how the alarms were set off, but this
- 21:04Speaker 2: did not get them any closer to solve in the crime.
- 21:06Speaker 2: They did speak to Andrea's boss, Cliff. He corroborated the
- 21:10Speaker 2: timeline in the story that Andre told. The police are
- 21:14Speaker 2: at a loss and they continue talking to Andrea seeing
- 21:17Speaker 2: if there's anything that he can think of as to
- 21:19Speaker 2: why Tiffany would be targeted like this, and that's when
- 21:22Speaker 2: he brings up the fact that there was another DJ
- 21:26Speaker 2: at the club that he works that had been murdered
- 21:29Speaker 2: back in January in a similar execution style. That murder
- 21:34Speaker 2: had still not been solved, and investigators are now thinking
- 21:37Speaker 2: they need to look at this as a possibility as
- 21:39Speaker 2: to why Tiffany was killed, because she might not have
- 21:43Speaker 2: been the target, but they might have been trying to
- 21:46Speaker 2: kill Andre and it just happened to be her. They
- 21:49Speaker 2: pulled the case from the incident Andre told him about.
- 21:53Speaker 2: It occurred in a different county, but nothing was really
- 21:57Speaker 2: matching up except for the Club Onyx connect.
- 22:00Speaker 1: The only thing, Yeah, the only thing in common was
- 22:03Speaker 1: the Club Onyx and the execution style killing. So this
- 22:08Speaker 1: is when they really start to start to talk to
- 22:10Speaker 1: people at the Club Onyx to see if they can
- 22:12Speaker 1: find some sort of reason behind the two killings, see
- 22:15Speaker 1: if there's some sort of connection why someone would want
- 22:17Speaker 1: to kill Andre, why someone want to kill this other DJ.
- 22:19Speaker 1: This is when they discovered that while Andre at the
- 22:22Speaker 1: beginning seemed like a good family man, after he began
- 22:26Speaker 1: so they're talking to other people in the club. There's
- 22:27Speaker 1: like he was a good family when he started he
- 22:30Speaker 1: began DJing. His popularity is DJ awesome because with the
- 22:34Speaker 1: name like that, you're going to be popular.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I'm guessing the other guy's name was DJ not all
- 22:39Speaker 2: not so awesome.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yeah, anyways, Stuart, that's not funny. Anyways, Like his popularity
- 22:46Speaker 1: began to grow, that's when he started bringing home women
- 22:50Speaker 1: from the club and cheating on his wife. So his
- 22:52Speaker 1: little happy marriage is not so happy, and the people
- 22:55Speaker 1: at the club are starting to talk. They said that
- 22:58Speaker 1: the fame just really changed Andre from a nice guy
- 23:01Speaker 1: to goind of this player. That's like, I got these
- 23:04Speaker 1: bites and hoes, you know. So with this new information,
- 23:08Speaker 1: they begin looking more into the marriage and find that
- 23:10Speaker 1: there actually was trouble because Tiffany knew about Andre's cheating.
- 23:16Speaker 1: They discovered that she was actually planning on filing for
- 23:19Speaker 1: divorce from Andre, which would more explain her sleeping in
- 23:23Speaker 1: the guest bedroom than what Andre came up with. They
- 23:28Speaker 1: also began looking at into the finances and found that
- 23:30Speaker 1: Andre was absolutely terrible with money, and that's so he
- 23:35Speaker 1: was constantly having to ask Tiffany for money, because I'm
- 23:38Speaker 1: guessing as she learned he was cheating on her. I'm
- 23:40Speaker 1: sure they started separating their finances a little bit more,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and he's having She's very successful in her work at Delta,
- 23:45Speaker 1: and he's she's having to and she's very responsible with money.
- 23:49Speaker 1: He's having to say, hey, can you just can I
- 23:52Speaker 1: get some of that old fayes because he's just probably
- 23:56Speaker 1: spending all his money on.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Yes, what no condoms, just the bitches and house.
- 24:04Speaker 1: What did you say first ladies?
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, the ladies and condoms.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Yes, yes, he's over there just cheating up, trying to,
- 24:11Speaker 1: you know, live his best DJ awesome life and spending
- 24:15Speaker 1: all his money and time.
- 24:17Speaker 2: With the what'd you call him? Bitches and home.
- 24:20Speaker 1: So I'm saying that I said it one time. You
- 24:22Speaker 1: don't know, Okay, well you don't need to keep repeating
- 24:24Speaker 1: it before someone gets mad at us.
- 24:29Speaker 2: What I'm not saying anything go on now. Investigators are
- 24:33Speaker 2: warned her and if Andre was involved with this murder,
- 24:36Speaker 2: you think However, they currently did not have any evidence
- 24:40Speaker 2: tying him to the scene.
- 24:41Speaker 1: They had nothing that he might have been. There's lots
- 24:44Speaker 1: of shitty husbands that don't kill their wives. I mean,
- 24:47Speaker 1: there's they have no evidence of him ever being there
- 24:50Speaker 1: is the problem, So one can't get condicted of a
- 24:54Speaker 1: crime they weren't there for I.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Just said that they have no evidence tying him to
- 24:58Speaker 2: the scene. His cell phone records showed that he was
- 25:01Speaker 2: at the club and that he did not have gunshot
- 25:04Speaker 2: gun SRB residue on his hands, and so far his
- 25:09Speaker 2: story seemed to be believable, and it was backed up
- 25:12Speaker 2: by his boss.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Yeah, he's everywhere that he said he was. He's everything
- 25:18Speaker 1: is good with him.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yes. It wasn't until they were running this information past
- 25:22Speaker 2: Tiffany's father that he said, well, Andrea has a second phone.
- 25:28Speaker 2: With this new information, investigators obtain a search warrant and
- 25:34Speaker 2: pick up that second phone from the home. When obtaining
- 25:38Speaker 2: these records, they found all the text between Tiffany and
- 25:41Speaker 2: Andrea that showed they were having marital issues and that
- 25:44Speaker 2: she was planning on leaving his ass.
- 25:46Speaker 1: So he had his I'm a good family man, happy
- 25:50Speaker 1: marriage cell phone, and then he had his I.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Don't understand how dirty work. What all his messages were
- 25:57Speaker 2: on the second phone to his wife. I would think
- 26:01Speaker 2: that would be his burner.
- 26:03Speaker 1: No, he was saying no but he was the dad
- 26:05Speaker 1: was just saying, he has two phones. He they might
- 26:07Speaker 1: he might have handed him the burner phone. I'm saying
- 26:10Speaker 1: he had a phone that presented his life in a
- 26:12Speaker 1: certain way, he had another phone that was actually how
- 26:15Speaker 1: his life was was actually going. And he gave them
- 26:18Speaker 1: whichever phone made him look that he didn't do any
- 26:21Speaker 1: of his his probably cheating and arguing in all sorts
- 26:25Speaker 1: of nefarious activities, the nice I'm a nice family man phone.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Police continue to review all the information and they had.
- 26:35Speaker 2: They're basically looking for any any inconsistencies in his stories.
- 26:39Speaker 2: They found one with the statement that Andre's boss gave.
- 26:43Speaker 2: He said that Andre called him and told him that
- 26:46Speaker 2: someone had broken into the house through the basement window.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Andre would have told his boss this prior to go
- 26:53Speaker 2: into the home, because he asked him to meet him there.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah, so this was whenever he they found out whenever
- 26:59Speaker 1: he first called his boss and said, Hey, I'm heading
- 27:01Speaker 1: to the house, will you meet me there? Someone broke
- 27:03Speaker 1: in through the basement window. And this would have been
- 27:05Speaker 1: completely unknown to him at this time.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Because there's no contact on that window.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Yeah, for them to say and that's not what true,
- 27:11Speaker 1: and it was because they learned about what Actually, yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 1: they learned once they had the information about how the
- 27:17Speaker 1: alarm was set off, because they didn't know at that
- 27:19Speaker 1: point was it through, was it because of the window,
- 27:22Speaker 1: or was it something else? And they learned that it wasn't.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Based on the information the alarm camp company had given
- 27:29Speaker 2: to the police. There was no alarm set off due
- 27:31Speaker 2: to the basement window being open. What I just said, Yes, sorry.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I jumped ahead, stew I was just trying to explain
- 27:38Speaker 1: to the people.
- 27:39Speaker 2: It was due to the glass break because of the gunshots, Kara,
- 27:43Speaker 2: in case you didn't notice that. So how did Andre
- 27:46Speaker 2: know that the killer went through the basement window prior
- 27:49Speaker 2: to arriving at And how did you explain that? Andrea?
- 27:53Speaker 1: Okay, well, they had a lot of circumstantial evidence, but
- 27:56Speaker 1: they still had no real evidence tyme Andre to the
- 27:58Speaker 1: crime scene. I mean besides him telling his boss that.
- 28:01Speaker 1: But again, that's that's him saying that to his boss.
- 28:04Speaker 1: His boss could have misremembered anything that could definitely be her.
- 28:09Speaker 1: The client could definitely be cloaked in innocence. That's a
- 28:11Speaker 1: throwback to jury duty. So this is when they go
- 28:16Speaker 1: back up. They go back to that vehicle that they
- 28:19Speaker 1: see pulling on because this is their best bet of
- 28:21Speaker 1: trying to catch who did this. They knew it was
- 28:23Speaker 1: not Andre's car because it was missing a running light,
- 28:27Speaker 1: not a headlights not a headlight, running light, but they
- 28:30Speaker 1: had no other information about the vehicle. Well, they decided
- 28:33Speaker 1: to pull phone records that were pinging off that tower
- 28:36Speaker 1: over the three hour period during that night and cross
- 28:39Speaker 1: reference those numbers to contacts in Andre's backup phone. So
- 28:43Speaker 1: I'm wondering if they did that previously with the original phone,
- 28:46Speaker 1: but now they got backup phone. They got bad Andre.
- 28:49Speaker 1: They had good Andre phone. Yes, they got true Andre. Well,
- 28:55Speaker 1: they do discover one number that is pinging on the
- 28:57Speaker 1: cell phone tower during that time, and it is also
- 28:59Speaker 1: an Andre's phone. And this belongs to a man named
- 29:02Speaker 1: Adrian Harley. That's a cool name, Adrian Harley, better than
- 29:06Speaker 1: DJ alsoen. Yes, so Adrian was a was a good
- 29:11Speaker 1: friend of Andre's. Some even say he.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Was not just a good friend, Kara, some would.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Even say more than a good friend. Yes, he was
- 29:21Speaker 1: the best man at their wedding, He was the godfather
- 29:23Speaker 1: to their children, and he was also a pallbearer at
- 29:26Speaker 1: Tiffany's funeral. So he is the best friend he is.
- 29:30Speaker 1: They are thick as thieves. Now this was very disturbing
- 29:33Speaker 1: to please because they now believe this is the person
- 29:35Speaker 1: who killed Tiffany, and this is someone who was, you know,
- 29:38Speaker 1: an intimate part of their family. They go to his
- 29:42Speaker 1: home and discover that he does have a car so
- 29:43Speaker 1: much than one of the videos, and it's missing a
- 29:46Speaker 1: running lightsack.
- 29:46Speaker 2: The driver's side front running light is out, so they.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Bring because I told the reason we're making a big
- 29:52Speaker 1: deal about it being a running light not headlights, because
- 29:54Speaker 1: I said, oh, I was like, man, that's crazy. Who
- 29:56Speaker 1: would go What kind of idiot goes and commits a
- 29:58Speaker 1: murder with a with the headlight out, you know? And
- 30:02Speaker 1: he's like, well, it was a it's a running light,
- 30:04Speaker 1: not a headlights. You can't get pulled over for a
- 30:06Speaker 1: running light being out. But still it's a distinguishing thing
- 30:09Speaker 1: on your car. That's a stupid thing. You should make
- 30:12Speaker 1: sure your car is in.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Nobody notices their running lights. I guess you need to
- 30:16Speaker 2: get out and do the twenty point chuck on your
- 30:18Speaker 2: car if you're about to go commit a murder.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Though, yes, you do need to make sure you don't
- 30:21Speaker 1: want to be oil. Yes, you need to make sure
- 30:24Speaker 1: your ducks are in a row. So they bring in
- 30:27Speaker 1: Adrian to interview him, and he just completely lies about
- 30:30Speaker 1: the whole situation. I mean, they know he's been there.
- 30:32Speaker 2: And my name's not Adrian.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not Adrian Harley.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I don't know that guy. With this information, police were
- 30:39Speaker 2: able to arrest both Adrian and Andre for the murder
- 30:42Speaker 2: of Tiffany. They speak to Andre and he confesses that
- 30:45Speaker 2: he did know that Adrian killed his wife. What the hell, Andre,
- 30:50Speaker 2: I know? But he states that he had nothing to
- 30:53Speaker 2: do with it and that Adrian did so on his
- 30:55Speaker 2: own accord. He said that he was dejaying at Club
- 30:59Speaker 2: Onyx that night and Adrian came up and told him
- 31:02Speaker 2: I killed your wife.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Yes, just flat out whispered in his ear, said I
- 31:05Speaker 1: killed your wife.
- 31:06Speaker 2: And he was like, okay, cool, I'm going to keep DJing.
- 31:08Speaker 2: I'll go check it out when I get done. No,
- 31:10Speaker 2: that's not what he said. Andre said, why would you
- 31:13Speaker 2: do that? What are you talking about. A witness at
- 31:15Speaker 2: the club did say that Andrea went and threw up
- 31:18Speaker 2: right after Adriane spoke to him at the club.
- 31:20Speaker 1: We don't know if that's because of what Adriane said though,
- 31:22Speaker 1: or he just had too many drinks, or.
- 31:24Speaker 2: He was like, dude, I did what you asked me
- 31:26Speaker 2: to do. Yeah, wife is gone, and this is like yeah,
- 31:28Speaker 2: and it became reality to him at that point. Andre
- 31:32Speaker 2: said that Adrian had a really bad temper and that
- 31:35Speaker 2: Tiffany had accused him of stealing money from them, and
- 31:38Speaker 2: this would have set Adrian off and could be the
- 31:41Speaker 2: reason why he.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Killed Tiffany because he is still going with this thing.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I had no idea that he was going to do this.
- 31:46Speaker 1: He went his own. He just casually walks up to
- 31:48Speaker 1: me at the club and says, I killed your wife,
- 31:51Speaker 1: and he's trying to come up with like maybe that's
- 31:53Speaker 1: why he did it.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Yeah, well why didn't you tell us that the night
- 31:56Speaker 2: that she was murdered? There on?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Is their best friends?
- 31:59Speaker 2: Do investigators? We're not believing Andre's story for some reason,
- 32:04Speaker 2: that he had nothing to do with planning of Tiffany's murder.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Despite Andre throwing Adrian completely under the bus, running over him,
- 32:12Speaker 2: backing up on top of him, and then running.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Again with the running light out.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Yes, Adrian refused to talk to police and refused to
- 32:21Speaker 2: testify against his friend Andre. Investigators still had enough to
- 32:25Speaker 2: continue the charges against Andre.
- 32:28Speaker 1: However, Yes, they're just not they're not buying this. But
- 32:31Speaker 1: this is like a ride or die friend here. I mean,
- 32:33Speaker 1: your friend Andre sucks. He's he's definitely just trying to
- 32:38Speaker 1: sat jail and you're just over there. I mean, you
- 32:41Speaker 1: should have just turned on that motherfucker.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Let me tell you, Adrian knows he's going to jail,
- 32:45Speaker 2: and be like, I ain't no snatch, I ain't did this,
- 32:47Speaker 2: but we're now we're going to bust Andrea up when
- 32:49Speaker 2: he gets in here. Though.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Yes, So during the trial, they painted the picture of
- 32:53Speaker 1: Andre orchestrating the murder while Adrian executed it. They believe
- 32:57Speaker 1: that Andre left the basement window open to allow Adrian
- 32:59Speaker 1: to j without the alarm going off. They also believed
- 33:02Speaker 1: that he told Adrian how to move around the home
- 33:05Speaker 1: with that and able to avoid being seen on the cameras. Now,
- 33:09Speaker 1: the one thing they did not account for it was
- 33:11Speaker 1: that alarm going off due to the gunshots being loud
- 33:14Speaker 1: enough to trigger that glass break alarm, so that if
- 33:17Speaker 1: they hadn't if that hadn't happened, they probably would have
- 33:21Speaker 1: never had a timeline, never had alarm records. They would
- 33:25Speaker 1: have just had maybe the boss saying he went in
- 33:27Speaker 1: through the basement. Someone broke into the basement.
- 33:29Speaker 2: He would have never showed up.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he would never even had to come. He
- 33:31Speaker 1: had to come up with that all last minute. That's
- 33:33Speaker 1: where he sucked.
- 33:33Speaker 2: It was the alarm company call.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Yes, that's where he screwed.
- 33:35Speaker 2: You just continued DJ until five thirty and came up and.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Be like, I don't know that's true. He would have
- 33:41Speaker 1: just came home and everything would have been ended, probably.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Found his two year old in the bed trying to
- 33:45Speaker 2: wake my mom up for us.
- 33:47Speaker 1: That's disturbing, and possibly the older one too. So anyway,
- 33:51Speaker 1: so again, this alarm situation is what really got them
- 33:57Speaker 1: now and then in the end both were found guilty
- 33:58Speaker 1: of Tiffany's murder. Both men received life sentences without the
- 34:02Speaker 1: possibility of pearl. Now investigators are also looking into the
- 34:07Speaker 1: possibility that these two were involved with that unsold murder
- 34:10Speaker 1: of the other DJ at club. This sounds like some
- 34:13Speaker 1: shady shit that these two would try to do. And
- 34:15Speaker 1: apparently they're to take.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Over his slot, so they didn't have so DJ awesome
- 34:20Speaker 2: could make more money.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Well, they might have done something similar with that one
- 34:22Speaker 1: and they got away with it. They're like, oh, well,
- 34:24Speaker 1: we can do this to Tiffany and get away with it.
- 34:27Speaker 1: But they just did not factor.
- 34:29Speaker 2: I mean, that would be really stupid though, if they
- 34:31Speaker 2: did kill that DJ, and then they'd be like, oh,
- 34:34Speaker 2: somebody killed that DJ, and that might have been who
- 34:36Speaker 2: killed this is my wife? But they also but andre's
- 34:40Speaker 2: not the brightest, Okay.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I take that back. They still would have got caught
- 34:45Speaker 1: even without the alarm going off because they would have
- 34:49Speaker 1: had video surveillance of that car. They still would have
- 34:51Speaker 1: talked to Tiffany's dad, they still would have found out
- 34:54Speaker 1: about the second phone. They still would have ran the records,
- 34:56Speaker 1: and they still would have matched them up. So no,
- 34:58Speaker 1: they still would have got caught. Went out the alarm,
- 35:01Speaker 1: the alarm just threw a hole. I mean, maybe he
- 35:05Speaker 1: could have got home and got rid of that. Maybe
- 35:07Speaker 1: the plan was to get home and get rid of
- 35:08Speaker 1: the security footage if anything was on there, because you
- 35:11Speaker 1: know they've done that before where they're like, oh, well,
- 35:13Speaker 1: I don't know what happened the exact time that she
- 35:15Speaker 1: was being murdered. The security system glitch.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Just yes, yeah, you don't want to do that. That's Aaron
- 35:20Speaker 2: Hernandez tried that shit.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Oh is that what happened with that?
- 35:24Speaker 2: Well when he killed his buddy? Yeah, see all his
- 35:27Speaker 2: cameras mysteriously went out at that time.
- 35:29Speaker 1: See I need to re I watched that documentary a
- 35:31Speaker 1: while ago, and I need to rewatch it because that's crazy.
- 35:35Speaker 1: They did last podcast and left, just did Aaron Hernandez.
- 35:39Speaker 1: So anyways, did that out?
- 35:41Speaker 2: Yeah? They stole my idea?
- 35:43Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, where did he kill somebody? What state?
- 35:48Speaker 2: Wherever he lived?
- 35:49Speaker 1: So not in the South? No, okay, well then it's
- 35:52Speaker 1: not our story.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I would guess I would be out there in the
- 35:55Speaker 2: New England area where he played the Patriots. Yes, he
- 35:59Speaker 2: was still a Patriot. He actually went into the next
- 36:01Speaker 2: season under suspicion until they actually did arrest.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Like we really need to win the Super Bowl, let's
- 36:07Speaker 1: let him play. He's really good, maybe like Tom Brady's
- 36:11Speaker 1: be like, well, it's fine. Did he really really need.
- 36:15Speaker 2: To uh slow the investigation down?
- 36:18Speaker 1: Yes, until he's old.
- 36:19Speaker 2: And retire till postseason?
- 36:23Speaker 1: All right? Do you have a yelling Jesus for us?
- 36:25Speaker 2: Of course I do always have a.
- 36:26Speaker 1: We have nine minutes to finish this. Are you ready?
- 36:29Speaker 2: You don't put me on the time. Will nobody puts
- 36:33Speaker 2: baby in a corner? Yes? I do. This story is very,
- 36:39Speaker 2: very infuriating for upstanding persons like myself, of good moral fiber.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Oh god, Jesus, what, yes, what? Just tell the stories.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I've got to stop interrupting you. Okay, that's alright, that's
- 36:54Speaker 1: what everybody keeps telling me. I'll let you just talk.
- 36:57Speaker 2: You need to shut up. New York Post published July third,
- 37:01Speaker 2: twenty twenty five, from Caitlin McCormick, a one hundred sixty
- 37:06Speaker 2: seven point three million dollar power ball winner age fifty.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Oh god, is exposed as a career criminal who spent
- 37:16Speaker 2: thirty years in jail before striking it rich.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Oh now this pisses me off too, because we were
- 37:20Speaker 1: supposed to win that money.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Yes, well, no, that's not that money, not the billion.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Oh this guy just he won a mirror one hundred
- 37:29Speaker 2: and sixty seven point.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Three million still one hundred yeah, Oh my.
- 37:34Speaker 2: God, I don't know if that was lone.
- 37:36Speaker 1: If I get if if someone could just give me
- 37:38Speaker 1: like two million dollars, that would just like set me
- 37:41Speaker 1: for life, I'd be okay, you think I would invest
- 37:43Speaker 1: it properly.
- 37:45Speaker 2: You're bad with money, though, Why I like Andre He's
- 37:50Speaker 2: flushed with cash and mugshots. The winner of Kentucky's largest
- 37:54Speaker 2: lottery jackpot, who was arrested in Florida days after claiming
- 37:57Speaker 2: his riches, has a sixteen page rap sheet and a
- 38:01Speaker 2: decade's long criminal history, earning him a jaw dropping collection
- 38:05Speaker 2: of booking photos along the way. James Shannon Farthing has
- 38:10Speaker 2: spent thirty of his fifty years alive behind bars at
- 38:15Speaker 2: twenty five different correctional institutions before he, along with his
- 38:19Speaker 2: mother and his girlfriend, claimed that one hundred and sixty
- 38:23Speaker 2: seven point three million dollar powerball jackpot in April.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Well, that girlfriend is she better slock in her stuff
- 38:30Speaker 1: because he's going eno back in jail. It doesn't matter
- 38:32Speaker 1: how much money. People don't d angel Oh, I was
- 38:36Speaker 1: about to say, people don't change if you're a career
- 38:38Speaker 1: criminal like that, and that's what you do. That's why
- 38:41Speaker 1: it's very difficult to rehabilitate some people because look at him.
- 38:46Speaker 1: He was just giving all his money. So you're thinking, oh,
- 38:48Speaker 1: money's going to fix it all. But money's just going
- 38:50Speaker 1: to make the If you're already bad at managing life,
- 38:53Speaker 1: you're just going to be ten times worse with a
- 38:55Speaker 1: bunch of money. Like giving you money is a go
- 38:58Speaker 1: to solve the problem exactly.
- 39:00Speaker 2: The career criminal turned overnight millionaire has racked up convictions
- 39:03Speaker 2: across nine counties in Kentucky for a litany of offenses,
- 39:08Speaker 2: including choking a girlfriend, bribing officers while in prison, and
- 39:13Speaker 2: selling cocaine to an undercover cop. According to the report.
- 39:17Speaker 1: The low one I'm really mad about is the choking.
- 39:19Speaker 2: The girlfriend, the low life string. This was that thing,
- 39:22Speaker 2: you know, consistent crime. Well, he wouldn't get charged for it.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I wouldn't guess a bad person if she was into
- 39:32Speaker 2: that of the low.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Live string joke in foretaste, I know.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Yes, that's what we do here. Can you quit an
- 39:39Speaker 2: interrupt on me?
- 39:39Speaker 1: Yes, you can go on?
- 39:41Speaker 2: Are you sure? Yes, I'm gonna tell.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Who are you gonna tell? Stuart? They already know what's happening.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I'm not interrupting you to stop you though, I'm interrupting
- 39:52Speaker 1: you to like say, okay. The only thing I disagree
- 39:55Speaker 1: one hundred percent with this is choking the girlfriend.
- 39:57Speaker 2: The low life string of consistent time started when he
- 40:01Speaker 2: was just a teenager, with the rest on charges ranging
- 40:04Speaker 2: from thefth to reckless driving. He was only able to
- 40:08Speaker 2: complete ten years of formal schooling and earn his ged
- 40:12Speaker 2: in prison. In his later years, Farthing up the ante
- 40:15Speaker 2: as he started dealing in drugs, even roping in his
- 40:19Speaker 2: mother and on a scheme to smuggle marijuana into a
- 40:22Speaker 2: maximum security facility.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Well that's where we know why he is the way
- 40:26Speaker 1: he is, because probably how he was raised. If she's
- 40:28Speaker 1: in on the whole, or.
- 40:31Speaker 2: He's a good boy.
- 40:32Speaker 1: A good boy, he's just a little guy.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Farthing accepted a plea deal that absolved his what I
- 40:39Speaker 2: guess his mother's name is grizzle and he was sentenced
- 40:42Speaker 2: to ten years. No whatold hope that would be?
- 40:45Speaker 1: Last name, even last name is not great Grizzle.
- 40:49Speaker 2: The old Grizzle. Even in the slammer, Farthing couldn't keep
- 40:52Speaker 2: out of trouble. He was frequently placed and administrative segregation
- 40:57Speaker 2: after doing things like smuggling in a variety you have
- 41:00Speaker 2: drug and there are alcohol paraphernalia into the prison and
- 41:04Speaker 2: charging inmates to return items he stole from them like
- 41:08Speaker 2: a bullet on a school yard playground.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I mean he's a little funny. Okay, he's a little funny.
- 41:14Speaker 2: The tatted up criminal was frequently denied parole in part
- 41:18Speaker 2: because of his seemingly infinite offenses with few signs of stoppings,
- 41:23Speaker 2: and the rare cases he was granted parole, he'd lose
- 41:25Speaker 2: it just as quickly for violating terms upon his release.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Way, what happened to three strikes? Is that only in
- 41:31Speaker 1: California or something it was.
- 41:33Speaker 2: I don't even know if they have it anymore.
- 41:36Speaker 1: I mean, twenty five strikes should definitely be overall.
- 41:39Speaker 2: You think, yes, well, he would lose his parole to
- 41:42Speaker 2: things like testing positives for drugs like marijuanica, marijuanica marijuana.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I don't know about that one, but.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Well, you can't do drugs. You can't drink or do anything.
- 41:53Speaker 2: You can't drink.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Because apparently probably bad things when you're under the influencer things.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Farthing is apparently has been well documented in his countless mugshots,
- 42:03Speaker 2: showing the transition from his baby face, clean shaven days
- 42:06Speaker 2: to the more recent time sporting a gray goatee and
- 42:10Speaker 2: packing a few extra pounds. Damn, they're saying he's obese.
- 42:13Speaker 1: No, it's like the like the shoot the boo.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Yes, his newfound wealth has not stopped his annex. Three
- 42:21Speaker 2: days after cashing in with his seventy seven year old mother,
- 42:25Speaker 2: Linda Grizzle, and girlfriend Jacqueline fight Master, there's a name
- 42:29Speaker 2: right there, he was arrested in the Sunshine State after
- 42:33Speaker 2: allegedly slugging another guest in the face and kicking a
- 42:37Speaker 2: deputy that tried to intervene. Farthing also violated his parole
- 42:41Speaker 2: when he left Kentucky without notifying his parole officer he
- 42:45Speaker 2: was required to because of his lengthy criminal record. Kara
- 42:50Speaker 2: Farthing was just freed from a Kentucky jail last week,
- 42:53Speaker 2: according to Kentucky Parole Board, but now has to face
- 42:56Speaker 2: charges from the Florida fight a Silver A sliver of
- 43:01Speaker 2: his lottery winnings was put toward his eleven thousand dollars baill.
- 43:06Speaker 2: He pleaded not guilty in a scheduled for my damn
- 43:10Speaker 2: stupid phone just refreshed to the top of the page. Okay,
- 43:19Speaker 2: this is about.
- 43:19Speaker 1: To piss mel Okay, would you like me to cut
- 43:22Speaker 1: the feet? No?
- 43:23Speaker 2: He played a not guilty scheduled July fourteenth, where he
- 43:26Speaker 2: could face up to five years in prison for the
- 43:28Speaker 2: remaining battery count on the jet on the deputy attack alone.
- 43:34Speaker 1: And then he'll be back in jail again when he
- 43:36Speaker 1: gets out of that. It doesn't matter how much money
- 43:38Speaker 1: he gets.
- 43:38Speaker 2: But he won't have to worry about his commissary. No,
- 43:41Speaker 2: he'll be flushed.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Well, he don't. He don't have access to that money, though.
- 43:45Speaker 2: I'm sure he can have an attorney put money in
- 43:47Speaker 2: his commissary for him.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Was he smart enough to set that up before he
- 43:50Speaker 1: went into jail.
- 43:51Speaker 2: I'm sure he's got an attorney plead in his case
- 43:53Speaker 2: for him.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Attorney's like, hey, I'll take care of that one hundred
- 43:57Speaker 1: and sixteen million. So but he bought the ticket with the.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Other two, they said, so they got to split it
- 44:01Speaker 2: through ways. I don't know if that was the lumps
- 44:03Speaker 2: I payout they got or if that was the before.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Well, hopefully the girlfriend is a good person and then
- 44:08Speaker 1: this would be her her payment for putting up with
- 44:11Speaker 1: his ass for however, Exacquly fight Master is that her name?
- 44:16Speaker 1: That was?
- 44:16Speaker 2: That's what I said. You weren't even I.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Wasn't paying attention at that point. I was looking at
- 44:20Speaker 1: the clock and was like, oh, you got two minutes left.
- 44:23Speaker 2: So yes, I can do a lot and too.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Okay, all right, well that's our case for this week
- 44:28Speaker 1: out of Georgia, and man, I can't leave. Those people
- 44:30Speaker 1: want all that money and too, I hate them.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Well maybe you ought to talk good about them. Maybe
- 44:36Speaker 2: they'll give us a little bit.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, apparently the mother is gullible, so we might
- 44:43Speaker 1: be able to trick her into doing something.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Keller, we got a cure for something out if I
- 44:49Speaker 2: won the.
- 44:50Speaker 1: If we won the lattery, I wouldn't tell anybody. I
- 44:53Speaker 1: wouldn't tell anybody.
- 44:54Speaker 2: You probably wouldn't tell me. You just wouldn't be home
- 44:55Speaker 2: one day.
- 44:58Speaker 1: No, if we won the lottery, we wouldn't. We wouldn't
- 45:01Speaker 1: tell anybody until I would never tell anybody because I
- 45:04Speaker 1: would not want to be harassed for money. For all
- 45:06Speaker 1: of eternity. My side of the family is sketchy, so
- 45:12Speaker 1: I don't think anybody on your side of the family
- 45:14Speaker 1: would ask for money.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sure I would find out.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Some people like the woodworks would come out relatives. I
- 45:20Speaker 1: don't even need mine to come out of the woodworks. Though.
- 45:23Speaker 1: They're just they're they're they're.
- 45:25Speaker 2: They're part of the wood they are the wood every
- 45:28Speaker 2: daymish in the Wood.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Yes, so we would do We would definitely be harassed
- 45:33Speaker 1: for sure on my side of the family.
- 45:35Speaker 2: And then I just need twenty dollars for gas money.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Do you seed twenty million dollars guys? Anyways? All right,
