- 0:02Speaker 1: Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven, Sonny and forty.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Today it is Gabe with Angie today filling in for Amanda,
- 0:08Speaker 1: who is out. She has the day off. So if
- 0:10Speaker 1: you hear a different voice today, that would be Angel.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Gabe, I have a confession that I need to make,
- 0:21Speaker 2: but I'm gonna make it to you first because that
- 0:23Speaker 2: sounds easier.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I so this has nothing to do with me, No, no, perfect,
- 0:28Speaker 1: All right now, I'm here for it spilling.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I I cheated on my boyfriend.
- 0:37Speaker 3: With Is this the time to tell this story?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yes, because it's it's with a show. I cheated on
- 0:43Speaker 2: my boyfriend in terms of watching our show by myself.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Well, word to the wise, maybe start with that next time.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I was gonna say, you know, and I don't know
- 0:54Speaker 1: if now is the appropriate time to let me know about,
- 0:58Speaker 1: you know, any type of cheating. That's something we can
- 1:00Speaker 1: maybe talk about after the show. But okay, I get it,
- 1:04Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:05Speaker 2: I've been feeling bad about this though, because okay, so
- 1:08Speaker 2: we have two shows, House of the Dragon and White Lotus,
- 1:12Speaker 2: and House of the Dragon is not on right now,
- 1:15Speaker 2: and so all we have is White Lotus. And the
- 1:18Speaker 2: thing is Mikey and I. That's my boyfriend. We're long
- 1:21Speaker 2: distance right now with a time difference, so he's two
- 1:27Speaker 2: hours earlier than we are here in Fargo, right, Okay,
- 1:31Speaker 2: And so we have a date night that we're supposed
- 1:34Speaker 2: to have every Sunday, so watch White Lotus together and
- 1:39Speaker 2: like live text through the show. That's like our date night.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Things makes kind of cute, and yeah, except for I
- 1:46Speaker 2: have been a very bad girl. And the problem is
- 1:49Speaker 2: I'm chronically online, so there's spoilers, there's memes, and I
- 1:52Speaker 2: want to understand them. And because we haven't been able
- 1:56Speaker 2: to coordinate lately because of the time difference and I
- 1:59Speaker 2: have to go to bed earlier than he does, we
- 2:02Speaker 2: just haven't been able to have our date night to
- 2:04Speaker 2: watch White Lotus together, Okay, And so I feel bad,
- 2:08Speaker 2: but I've been watching it by myself, Like I caught
- 2:11Speaker 2: up on all the episodes.
- 2:12Speaker 3: You have not, Yes, I have. I know you know
- 2:16Speaker 3: you haven't.
- 2:17Speaker 2: We had watched two episodes together. It's now on episode
- 2:21Speaker 2: I think last night was episode seven. I didn't watch
- 2:23Speaker 2: last night.
- 2:24Speaker 1: At the very least, you watched your show together without him?
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Are yeah kidding me? I know if Corey was rifling
- 2:35Speaker 1: through nineteen twenty three. Without me, I would be I'm
- 2:40Speaker 1: not mad, I'd just be disappointed.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Am I like a monster for doing that?
- 2:45Speaker 3: Do my reasons?
- 2:46Speaker 4: Not?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Like you make a case for myself.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Your situation is a bit unique. Obviously there is the
- 2:52Speaker 1: long distance thing.
- 2:53Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:54Speaker 3: It's a bit unique.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yeah, So, I mean I've always just thought better.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Or yell no, I think he'll be bummed though.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I just have always operated my life with better to
- 3:06Speaker 2: beg forgiveness than ask permission.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Well, why don't we just call him? Do you think
- 3:11Speaker 1: he would answer this morning if we did?
- 3:13Speaker 5: Oh?
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he's probably yeah, yeah, yeah, he should
- 3:16Speaker 2: be awake right now because he's a teacher, so he
- 3:18Speaker 2: gets up early.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Just air it out here on Big ninety eight point seven,
- 3:21Speaker 1: let's find out. Are you prepared to like tell the
- 3:24Speaker 1: truth here in about eight minutes?
- 3:27Speaker 2: Fine?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Do you think he's gonna what?
- 3:29Speaker 5: Do you?
- 3:29Speaker 3: How do you think it'll go?
- 3:31Speaker 2: I think that he loves me oh so much and
- 3:34Speaker 2: will forgive anything I do.
- 3:36Speaker 3: That's coming up.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Today's variety, Big ninety eight point seven, Sonny and forty.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Today it's Gabe with Angie, who is filling in for Amanda.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Amanda is fine, She's just yeah today she's out. The
- 3:48Speaker 1: kiddos are home, and she is home with the kids today,
- 3:50Speaker 1: So Angie.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Is filling it.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I shared with Gabe earlier that my boyfriend Mikey and
- 3:58Speaker 2: I we have a show that we watched together. We
- 4:01Speaker 2: watched White Lotus. But I'm a monster and I did
- 4:05Speaker 2: not follow watching our show protocol. And so I got
- 4:10Speaker 2: Mikey on the line so that I can tell him this. Hey, babe, Hey,
- 4:15Speaker 2: what are you doing. I'm just getting ready for work. Okay. Well,
- 4:22Speaker 2: I wanted to call you and confess something to you
- 4:27Speaker 2: that we were talking about on air just now, and
- 4:31Speaker 2: I just can I preemptively ask you not to be mad?
- 4:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 4:38Speaker 1: Sure, this is one of those like I'm gonna tell
- 4:41Speaker 1: you the truth as long as I don't get in trouble.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Something you say to your parents when you're like ten.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah, loaded question, but all right, go ahead. Okay, So
- 4:50Speaker 2: you know how we have been watching, well, not been
- 4:53Speaker 2: watching White Lotus, like we're so behind because we haven't
- 4:59Speaker 2: been able to watch it together. Ryan, Okay, So I
- 5:06Speaker 2: am a terrible person, and I caught up on all
- 5:09Speaker 2: the episodes without you, not last night's, but all the
- 5:13Speaker 2: other ones?
- 5:16Speaker 3: What breaking this guy's voice? Did you hear that, Angie?
- 5:21Speaker 3: How did you do that?
- 5:22Speaker 2: I'm sorry? Are you so mad?
- 5:25Speaker 5: This is our this is our long distance date night thing.
- 5:30Speaker 1: He's not mad, Angie, he's just really disappointed, as you
- 5:33Speaker 1: can clearly hear in his voice.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Here.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that's worse. You're disappointed.
- 5:40Speaker 5: I don't know. I guess.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Well, listen, honestly, look how nicely he's taking it could
- 5:47Speaker 6: be worse. Do you you still love me and you
- 5:50Speaker 6: want to be with me forever? And we can just watch, well,
- 5:54Speaker 6: you catch up when you can, and then we'll watch
- 5:57Speaker 6: this latest one together.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess. I mean that's not as fun.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Yeah, he doesn't have any other choice.
- 6:05Speaker 2: What do you mean? Okay, Well, I'll make it up
- 6:07Speaker 2: to you. I promise I won't. I promise I will.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I won't do this when it's House of the Dragon,
- 6:16Speaker 2: all right?
- 6:17Speaker 1: Well, I mean yeah, I guess I'm team Mikey. I
- 6:20Speaker 1: feel horrible for this guy. I love that you gave
- 6:23Speaker 1: him the option to catch on up. What else is
- 6:26Speaker 1: he gonna do?
- 6:26Speaker 2: Aniel? I feel really bad. I have some making up
- 6:30Speaker 2: to do.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Sure, you know I've never been part of a a
- 6:34Speaker 1: live breakup before I get I think it's all right.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I think it's watching the show without your significant other.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I tell you what.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven, Sonny and forty.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Today it is Gabe and Angie. Here.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Angie is filling in for Amanda. Amanda is off today.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I believe the kids do not have school, or at
- 6:55Speaker 1: least her kids don't have school or whatever, so she
- 6:57Speaker 1: is home with them today. Angie's filling in and and Angie,
- 7:00Speaker 1: something happened to me over this weekend that I just
- 7:03Speaker 1: I want to know. Does your significant other do something
- 7:06Speaker 1: that either kind of drives you crazy? And it's not
- 7:09Speaker 1: necessarily that it's wrong, but they just do something different
- 7:12Speaker 1: than you.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I'm sure I could think of something, but what happened
- 7:16Speaker 2: to you?
- 7:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:17Speaker 1: So this weekend, Corey had left some lights on. I
- 7:21Speaker 1: went to bed early, and Corey left these lights on.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And when I woke up, you know, I got a
- 7:25Speaker 1: kitchen light on, a bathroom light on. And I don't
- 7:28Speaker 1: know what happened to me as a young child, but
- 7:30Speaker 1: it has been drilled into my head. Shut the light
- 7:33Speaker 1: off when you're done with a room. Yeah, you know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you kind of tucked the room away and the lights
- 7:38Speaker 1: were left on overnight. And this has been something we've
- 7:40Speaker 1: constantly not bickered, but I've constantly you know what it about. Yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 1: shut the dang light off when you're you know what
- 7:47Speaker 1: I'm saying. Right, And I went to bed a little
- 7:49Speaker 1: early on Saturday. I was just tired, and then she
- 7:52Speaker 1: stayed up a little bit, a couple of lights.
- 7:53Speaker 2: On, and so this drives you crazy in your relationship that.
- 8:00Speaker 3: This is my Like, what are you doing? Shut the
- 8:03Speaker 3: light off?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Now, I'm sure she would say the exact same thing
- 8:07Speaker 1: about me when it comes to like, you know, the bread,
- 8:10Speaker 1: there's a little twisty tie.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I usually will do the twisty tie.
- 8:13Speaker 1: But if I set it down and can't find it,
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'll just spin that sucker around and throw it back.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's the way to do it.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll do that. Hey, you know what, at least.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You're closing it because this is mine. So my boyfriend, Mikey,
- 8:26Speaker 2: we're long distance right now, so I don't have to
- 8:28Speaker 2: deal with this often. Yeah, but he never closes anything.
- 8:33Speaker 2: He never shuts anything in terms of food items. So
- 8:37Speaker 2: if there's a box of crackers and he grabs some
- 8:40Speaker 2: of the crackers, box open the bread. He does not
- 8:43Speaker 2: do the twisty tie, he does not do the spin
- 8:46Speaker 2: the background. He just leaves it open.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Why that's a little bit psychotic. I feel like that's
- 8:52Speaker 1: a waste of money. All these things are going bad
- 8:54Speaker 1: in twenty four hours. They're all stale.
- 8:56Speaker 2: And that's what I always ask him, like doesn't this
- 8:58Speaker 2: taste gross? Tea you now? And he's like, oh, it
- 9:01Speaker 2: does taste a little off, but oh well.
- 9:04Speaker 1: What are you to.
- 9:08Speaker 2: That, which is just to close it? Yeah, And I
- 9:11Speaker 2: hate that he doesn't. But for me, I always leave
- 9:16Speaker 2: everything on the floor when I'm getting ready, Like everything
- 9:19Speaker 2: on the floor, and then he'll like step on things
- 9:22Speaker 2: and it's as bad as stepping on a lego, right,
- 9:24Speaker 2: because it'll be like the plug to my hair straightener.
- 9:26Speaker 3: And he's like, that would be my worst night, Mary out.
- 9:30Speaker 2: So I try not to get on him too much
- 9:32Speaker 2: about closing things because I'm never gonna pick up after myself.
- 9:35Speaker 1: The one Corey would get annoyed about me is so
- 9:37Speaker 1: let's say, let's say I have just a singular plate, right,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and I'm feeling lazy once in a while, I'll just
- 9:44Speaker 1: rinse it off and I'll just set it in the sink.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I'll like, I'll put that in the dishwasher later, and
- 9:48Speaker 1: then you never said it. Of course, I always forget
- 9:50Speaker 1: that it's in there. So I'm like, I'm I don't
- 9:53Speaker 1: put my dish in the dishwasher right away when I'm.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Done, okay, So I feel like you're even.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it's even.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Or if I'll have like a knife that I've rinsed
- 10:03Speaker 1: offf and I'm like, I'll do this later and I
- 10:04Speaker 1: just toss it in the sink, I will say, I
- 10:06Speaker 1: don't let him sit there like dirty.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Dirty. They're rinsed off at least, but they are not
- 10:10Speaker 3: in the dishwaking.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You bet. It probably still drives her creaz well.
- 10:13Speaker 1: She gets super annoyed at that. So I've had to
- 10:15Speaker 1: work on just chucking those things in the in the
- 10:17Speaker 1: dishwasher right away because my whole life the dishwasher has
- 10:20Speaker 1: been me well I'm.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Used to I'm like, oh, I gotta wash it, so
- 10:24Speaker 3: I'm tossing it in here.
- 10:25Speaker 1: But let us know, is there something your significant other
- 10:28Speaker 1: does differently or just flat out wrong? Then you and
- 10:33Speaker 1: it kind of drives you nuts seven oh one two
- 10:35Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven. Corey, if you are
- 10:39Speaker 1: listening right now, you shut that bathroom light off please
- 10:41Speaker 1: when you leave. Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven,
- 10:47Speaker 1: sunny and forty today.
- 10:51Speaker 3: All right, we wanted to know quickly what what.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Are some things you and your significant other do that
- 10:56Speaker 1: are maybe just different or flat out wrong that you
- 11:01Speaker 1: kind of get annoyed by?
- 11:03Speaker 2: Amy and Wes Fargo said, he puts the garbage in
- 11:06Speaker 2: the sink. The garbage is under the sink. You are
- 11:09Speaker 2: already in the sink area. It is not much extra
- 11:12Speaker 2: effort to open the damn door.
- 11:15Speaker 1: She's got a point. Actually, I'll be honest, she's got
- 11:17Speaker 1: a point. Meredith also said, ours is the way it's loaded.
- 11:20Speaker 1: She's talking about the dishwasher. She said, the direction the
- 11:24Speaker 1: plates are facing, the silverware upper down, glasses, cups, mugs
- 11:27Speaker 1: organized neatly on top.
- 11:29Speaker 3: This is not my idea.
- 11:30Speaker 1: As long as it's in the dishwasher, why does it matter.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I would be on team Meredith here.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I kind of just sort of toss him in there
- 11:39Speaker 1: so they can get clean. But I don't care if
- 11:42Speaker 1: they're on top or bottom. Corey, Really it matters what
- 11:45Speaker 1: order they're in and where they're sitting in the frit.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Or, in the dishwater, in the dishway. That's right, and
- 11:52Speaker 3: we will have some tea here.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I did want to also say, Meredith from Fargo here,
- 11:56Speaker 1: what do we have coming up from tea?
- 11:58Speaker 2: Oh, we've got Chapel Roane, who has made some parents
- 12:02Speaker 2: very mad. Ready, that's he is piping hot today. I
- 12:09Speaker 2: know Amanda Stills the tea who see papl Rone has
- 12:16Speaker 2: sparked a new TikTok trend because parents are mad at her.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Here's what she said that got everyone riled up.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I actually don't know anyone who's like happy and has
- 12:26Speaker 4: children at this age. I have like one year old,
- 12:29Speaker 4: like three year old, four and under five and under.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I don't I literally have not met anyone who's happy,
- 12:35Speaker 4: anyone who has like lightened their eyes, anyone who.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Has anyone was like in their eyes. Essentially. Yeah, she's
- 12:40Speaker 2: saying that people with young kids aren't happy. As a
- 12:45Speaker 2: mom of two boys, Caplrone is absolutely correct. My kids
- 12:50Speaker 2: are not in the super young stage anymore. I've got
- 12:53Speaker 2: a fourteen year old and the little one he's going
- 12:55Speaker 2: to be eight next month. Sure, but let me tell you,
- 12:58Speaker 2: when those kids were little, well, it was rough. I
- 13:02Speaker 2: was not happy. There was no light in my eyes.
- 13:05Speaker 2: All I could think of was keep the kids alive,
- 13:08Speaker 2: Keep them alive, right, so as long as they didn't
- 13:10Speaker 2: jump off of the couch and bang their head on
- 13:13Speaker 2: a coffee table. And you never get any sleep. Sleep
- 13:16Speaker 2: Where is she? She's not here in the room with us.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And so those early years they are hard, and Chapel brone.
- 13:22Speaker 2: She hit the nail on the head, and I think
- 13:24Speaker 2: it's she said the people that she knows, right, So
- 13:26Speaker 2: I'm sure her friends are venting to her about how
- 13:30Speaker 2: much of a struggle being a parent is. But parents
- 13:34Speaker 2: are mad, and so they are now making tiktoks with
- 13:37Speaker 2: that audio of Chapel saying that there's no light in
- 13:40Speaker 2: their eyes, playing over videos of them with their kids
- 13:43Speaker 2: living their best lives. Oh sure, I feel like you're
- 13:46Speaker 2: trying a little too hard to prove that you're happy,
- 13:48Speaker 2: though I do.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I'm sure this is on there, but I can't wait
- 13:51Speaker 1: for this to kind of reverse and someone's playing the
- 13:54Speaker 1: audio and they're disheveled. Their baby just had like a
- 13:57Speaker 1: blowout diaper in her. It's going rough either, way though, Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 1: what do you do with your friends? You kind of vent,
- 14:02Speaker 1: you talk about your life, what's going great, what's not
- 14:04Speaker 1: going great? And I'm sure with little kids, like some
- 14:07Speaker 1: of it is tiring and it is very very hard.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the worst, but then you know, it comes
- 14:12Speaker 2: full circle and it becomes very rewarding and you can't
- 14:15Speaker 2: imagine your life without your kids. So it's fine and
- 14:17Speaker 2: it's not that serious. Morgan Wallen was trending over his
- 14:23Speaker 2: appearance on Saturday Night Live, or I should say his disappearance,
- 14:28Speaker 2: because when it was time for the credits to roll,
- 14:31Speaker 2: and usually the host and the musical guest day on
- 14:33Speaker 2: stage with all of the cast members and chop it
- 14:35Speaker 2: up while the credits go on screen, Morgan Wallen was
- 14:38Speaker 2: not having it. He just left.
- 14:40Speaker 3: He thanked Mike just might drop through the bouncer.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Like bye. He thanked Mikey Madison who hosted, and then
- 14:47Speaker 2: just stepped off stage. And then not that long after,
- 14:50Speaker 2: he posted a picture from his private jet with the
- 14:53Speaker 2: caption get Me to God's Country. He just was ready
- 14:56Speaker 2: to go home. I don't know that New York City
- 14:59Speaker 2: is the place for him. And everyone was in this
- 15:02Speaker 2: uper like how rude, how terrible. But I don't know.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I feel like I'm a fan of an Irish goodbye
- 15:08Speaker 2: and you can't really do that on national television because
- 15:11Speaker 2: people notice. But like he just left. I feel like
- 15:14Speaker 2: it's not that big a deal.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I didn't think it was that crazy, especially I'm not
- 15:18Speaker 1: I don't pretend to be a big giant SNL fan.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I'll catch a clip here and there, m that's gone
- 15:22Speaker 1: viral or whatever. But I watched this and it did
- 15:24Speaker 1: not seem that big of a deal to me. I
- 15:27Speaker 1: didn't really get it. He says goodbye to the person
- 15:30Speaker 1: he's next to me, they talk for a hot couple seconds,
- 15:33Speaker 1: he like gives him a hug, and then he just
- 15:35Speaker 1: walks off.
- 15:36Speaker 3: I didn't think it looked normal to me.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I'm an avid SNL watcher, so that did stick out
- 15:42Speaker 2: to me.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Oh, that's not what normal.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Not normally what happens. Everybody stays on stage and chops
- 15:47Speaker 2: it up during the ending credits. But at the end
- 15:50Speaker 2: of the day, I mean, what does this really affect anybody?
- 15:54Speaker 3: Really?
- 15:55Speaker 2: If you're that upset about Morgan Wallen leaving abruptly, like
- 16:00Speaker 2: you got bigger problems in your life. Chet Hanks, who's
- 16:07Speaker 2: Tom Hanks's son, is part of a duo called Something
- 16:10Speaker 2: Out West, and the music video for their new song
- 16:13Speaker 2: features Tom Hanks himself. It recreates the scenes from Forrest Gump,
- 16:19Speaker 2: which obviously starred Tom Hanks, and features the classic fundus.
- 16:26Speaker 2: I mean so perfect. And this is the kind of
- 16:30Speaker 2: nepo baby Shenanigans that I am into because for me
- 16:35Speaker 2: and I feel like for a lot of us, Forrest
- 16:37Speaker 2: Gump is so nostalgic. And there wasn't a single kid
- 16:41Speaker 2: in elementary school pe when we were running the mile
- 16:44Speaker 2: where you didn't hear someone yell all right.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 2: And the thing is, I think this is smart of
- 16:50Speaker 2: Chet Hanks because he has been tried this music thing before.
- 16:55Speaker 2: He was doing rap before.
- 16:57Speaker 3: To get into reggae at one point.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Yeah, you go doing a lot of things. But this
- 17:02Speaker 2: is like his foray into country. And the only reason
- 17:05Speaker 2: that I watched this is because Tom Hanks was in
- 17:08Speaker 2: it and because they were recreating Forrest Gum scenes. But
- 17:12Speaker 2: then once I was there, I realized this soun kind
- 17:15Speaker 2: of slick.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it is kind of a banger. I don't hate
- 17:19Speaker 3: it at all.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I'm into it, and like I don't know. Is this
- 17:22Speaker 2: going to go on my birthday party playlist? Yes, yes
- 17:25Speaker 2: it is.
- 17:25Speaker 3: This is making the party busy. I love it.

- 18:04Speaker 1: All right, it is that time. We're gonna check in
- 18:06Speaker 1: with miss Amanda.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Here.
- 18:08Speaker 1: She has her first like sleepover with the kids. As
- 18:13Speaker 1: Sydney we had mentioned earlier was a COVID kid, right.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so she turned six and this will be her
- 18:19Speaker 2: first big birthday party. So Amanda hosted a big sleepover.
- 18:23Speaker 2: She was nervous about that, and so I figure, why
- 18:27Speaker 2: don't we just check in with her and see if
- 18:28Speaker 2: she survived well?
- 18:29Speaker 3: To see hello, Hey, Amanda, how you doing?
- 18:35Speaker 5: Oh just it's glorious. How are you guys?
- 18:39Speaker 1: We are doing good. Are you enjoying your day off
- 18:43Speaker 1: with the kiddos? I know you were a little anxious
- 18:46Speaker 1: nervous about the slumber party?
- 18:47Speaker 3: How did go sir? How's it going so far? I
- 18:49Speaker 3: guess it was.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Everything I expected and then some. I did not expect them, though,
- 18:54Speaker 5: to stay up so late? Girls? Howly did you stay
- 18:57Speaker 5: up last night? Thank time? Night most midnight for six
- 19:02Speaker 5: year old girls? Was not anticipating that.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You know, I miss those days where you're young and
- 19:07Speaker 1: you like, remember how late you got to stay up?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:11Speaker 5: Excuse me, there was a seven year old here too,
- 19:14Speaker 5: I apologize, and not just six year olds. We've got
- 19:16Speaker 5: a seven year old adult here.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, Well, what do you guys have going
- 19:20Speaker 1: on this morning?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Post slumber? Hey?
- 19:24Speaker 5: Girls? What are you guys doing right now.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Today?
- 19:30Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 19:31Speaker 5: What do you make up on? So they're fully getting
- 19:33Speaker 5: ready right now? Because what are you guys having for breakfast?
- 19:37Speaker 5: Road sinner min rolls? Those are in the oven?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Went to this sleepover? And by the way, these six
- 19:44Speaker 2: year olds and seven year old have a way better
- 19:46Speaker 2: makeup routine than I do. I'm realizing that.
- 19:50Speaker 5: The skincare routine is top dodge. Meanwhile, Mom has been
- 19:54Speaker 5: in the same outfit for two days preparing for this,
- 19:57Speaker 5: and I'm on cop of coffee number two.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I was just going to ask, how is Mom's skincare
- 20:03Speaker 1: slash getting ready routine going?
- 20:05Speaker 3: Is it of the same nature?
- 20:07Speaker 5: Also? Day two, same makeup. Have not brushed my teeth,
- 20:11Speaker 5: but they've already brushed their teeth, comb their hair. It's
- 20:15Speaker 5: wild times, you guys, Well, at.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Least you're making it through. At least you're making it through.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Did Sid have a good time or is she having
- 20:22Speaker 1: a good time?
- 20:22Speaker 5: Are you having a good birthday? Say? What was your
- 20:26Speaker 5: favorite part about the sleepover?
- 20:29Speaker 1: Dang?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Okay, oh my goodness. All right, do you guys think
- 20:33Speaker 5: we should do this again? Sometimes? Wait tomorrow?
- 20:38Speaker 3: Okay, not tomorrow.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Hey, attention West Morgan Schools. No more days off for
- 20:44Speaker 5: the rest of the year.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Please.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven. It's Gabe in Angie,
- 20:51Speaker 1: sunny and forty Today. This past weekend I was doing
- 20:57Speaker 1: the dishes.
- 20:58Speaker 2: We have a look for you.
- 21:00Speaker 3: We have a.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Dishwasher at the house, but for things like pots, and pans.
- 21:02Speaker 1: It's a little tough to throw on in there. Yeah,
- 21:05Speaker 1: And I think this has maybe happened in my life,
- 21:08Speaker 1: but I don't remember it all that often. But as
- 21:10Speaker 1: I was, you know, scrub a dub dubbing, I got
- 21:12Speaker 1: a little tap, a little good game coach on the
- 21:15Speaker 1: hind end.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Oh my god, butt tap from the old wife.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Which is kind of funny because when Corey is doing
- 21:22Speaker 1: the dishes, you know, I'll get a little a little
- 21:24Speaker 1: tapper room.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good.
- 21:27Speaker 6: We do, we do.
- 21:27Speaker 3: We flirt like that in the Glinton House, you know,
- 21:31Speaker 3: give it a little cabby cat cap cao and I
- 21:34Speaker 3: say that while I do.
- 21:35Speaker 2: It, you're so annoying.
- 21:39Speaker 3: So I was just curious, I would you know.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm sure this goes back and forth guys and girls,
- 21:46Speaker 1: but I was curious, Hey, ladies, do you like it
- 21:48Speaker 1: when the hobby gives it the old butt tap? Yeah,
- 21:51Speaker 1: the little booty grab while you're doing the dishes or
- 21:53Speaker 1: vacuuming or cleaning out the cat litter box.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Or dust in the windows or whatever. I like it.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I'm a fan, Yes, I'm a fan. And we posed
- 22:03Speaker 2: this question on Facebook and we got quite a few responses.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Sonny said, I love it. He knows it because I
- 22:11Speaker 2: get a little.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Little heat, like what happened? What would you say if
- 22:17Speaker 3: you weren't at home?
- 22:18Speaker 1: What if you like at the gas station, pump in
- 22:20Speaker 1: your gas or something near your boy Mikey gives you
- 22:23Speaker 1: the old tap on the on the booty cheeks.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I like that. I like that because I
- 22:27Speaker 2: like it because it's like, yeah, I'm his he can
- 22:30Speaker 2: do that, all right, I like it.
- 22:32Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Genie on Facebook said, tap on the old tshi min
- 22:37Speaker 2: it was go time wink.
- 22:39Speaker 3: What do you think she means by that? Oh my god?
- 22:43Speaker 2: And then Sarah said not really and Shawna said hate it?
- 22:48Speaker 3: Really.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I really thought this was going to be a universal yes,
- 22:52Speaker 2: but apparently there are people who don't like it. But
- 22:54Speaker 2: of course my favorite, Erica said, heck no, he'd better
- 22:58Speaker 2: do it, or I'll think I did something wrong.
- 23:00Speaker 3: You better do it. Huh did something wrong? Bad girl?
- 23:05Speaker 3: Right there.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Today's riety Big ninety eight point seven. Gabe and Angie
- 23:11Speaker 1: here today filling in for miss Amanda. We have Sonny
- 23:13Speaker 1: and forty today. Angie filling in for Amanda today who
- 23:17Speaker 1: was just off. She will be back tomorrows. She just
- 23:19Speaker 1: has vacaid day today. So part of today's good news.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Is that Angie was here to fill in. I greatly
- 23:27Speaker 3: appreciate that.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Thank you, Gabe. That was really nice and unexpected, because
- 23:32Speaker 2: you're not nice.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Well, because here's the real story.
- 23:36Speaker 1: There was this eighty one year old waitress named Betty
- 23:40Speaker 1: who had worked at this restaurant for years and years
- 23:43Speaker 1: and years, as I'm sure you can imagine, and she
- 23:46Speaker 1: recently found out that she is able to retire. Last week,
- 23:50Speaker 1: this woman named Tammy and her son visited this restaurant
- 23:54Speaker 1: and learned that Betty was still working because Social Security
- 23:58Speaker 1: wasn't enough to cover her expenses. The customer was so
- 24:01Speaker 1: moved that she left a really generous tip, and then
- 24:04Speaker 1: she shared this story on social media.
- 24:06Speaker 3: As I'm sure you can guess how games good news
- 24:08Speaker 3: of the day works.
- 24:09Speaker 1: The story quickly went viral, and it prompted Tammy to
- 24:13Speaker 1: launch a crowdfund, which has now raised over three hundred
- 24:17Speaker 1: thousand dollars to support Betty's retirement. Yeah, the waitress knows
- 24:22Speaker 1: about the crowdfund, but she doesn't know how much has
- 24:24Speaker 1: been raised for as donations keep continuing to pour on
- 24:28Speaker 1: in Tammy hopes the funds will give Betty the freedom
- 24:32Speaker 1: to retire comfortably, travel or pay bills just whatever she needs,
- 24:36Speaker 1: if she chooses. She says that Betty gave her and
- 24:39Speaker 1: Leo such a memorable piece of advice during the visit,
- 24:41Speaker 1: and this was the advice enjoy your life because it
- 24:44Speaker 1: goes fast. The unexpected success of the fundraiser has left
- 24:49Speaker 1: Kozier surprised and grateful for all of the kindness shown
- 24:53Speaker 1: by strangers.
- 24:54Speaker 3: How sweet are we gonna start?
- 24:56Speaker 2: Nice?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Are we gonna start a bit called will Andy cry?
- 24:58Speaker 1: We got some tears over there.
- 25:00Speaker 2: That's just really sweet, And especially you know, she's eighty one,
- 25:03Speaker 2: like she shouldn't be having to work, right, So I
- 25:07Speaker 2: love this.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I'm sure that is something a lot of people can
- 25:10Speaker 1: relate to, whether their mom or dad is still working
- 25:13Speaker 1: and they wish they didn't have to, or or whatever.
- 25:15Speaker 3: The situation might be. So very, very cool and a lot.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Of these people helping out this eighty one year old woman,
- 25:22Speaker 1: which I think is one of the reasons I like
- 25:23Speaker 1: to kind of end our eight o'clock hour every day
- 25:26Speaker 1: with the world is full of nice people. If you
- 25:29Speaker 1: can't find one, you gotta be one, and stories like
- 25:31Speaker 1: that always remind me and hopefully you, that there are
- 25:33Speaker 1: a lot of good people in the world, even though
- 25:36Speaker 1: we might hear and see a bunch of garbage in
- 25:38Speaker 1: the news and or on the radio.
- 25:40Speaker 3: That's just sad. So that is why we end the
- 25:42Speaker 3: program with that, saying ninety eight points
