  Two thousand came and the spark was lit. A testimony raw, it wouldn't quit.

  It's mother's voice, a guiding thread.

  Happy Friday, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin.

  This is Angel Santana, and I want to thank you for being with us as we continue

  the final step here on the Road to the Resurrection series.

  This week, we've talked through silence. We felt the weight.
• 1:13
  We've talked about surrender. And today, we stand at one of the most powerful
• 1:18
  moments in our faith, the cross.
• 1:22
  Because if you were there on that day if you were standing in that moment it
• 1:28
  would have looked like the end.
• 1:31
  Jesus had been arrested. He had been beaten. He had been crucified.
• 1:36
  And he was hung on the cross. He said the words, It is finished.
• 1:43
  John 19, verse 30. To the people watching, that sounded like the end.

  Hope looked gone. The future looked uncertain. Everything they believed in felt
• 1:55
  like it had fallen apart.

  We've all had moments like that, right? Let's be honest. We've all had moments
• 2:02
  like that where we felt like everything had fallen apart.
• 2:06
  Moments where something ends and it hurts. A door closes.
• 2:10
  A relationship breaks. A plan falls apart.
• 2:14
  A prayer doesn't get answered the way we hoped. And in those moments,
• 2:18
  it can feel like this is it. This is the end.

  But what they didn't realize on that Friday was that that Sunday.
• 2:29
  Was that Sunday was coming.
• 2:31
  What looked like defeat was actually part of the victory. What looked like the
• 2:36
  end was actually the beginning of something greater.
• 2:39
  And that's the message we need to hold on to today. Just because something looks
• 2:43
  finished doesn't mean God is finished.
• 2:47
  Just because something ended doesn't mean your story is over.
• 2:52
  God is still working even when it doesn't feel like it. even when it doesn't
• 2:58
  look like it, even when you can't understand it.

  The cross was not the end of Jesus' story, and this moment you're in right now is not the end of yours.

  As we move closer to Easter, I want you to hold on to this truth.
• 3:15
  There is still more ahead, more hope, more healing, more purpose,
• 3:21
  more life, because God is not done with you. Your story is still being written.

  And what feels like the end today may just be the beginning of something new. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding us that this is not the end.

  Help us trust in you and in the moments when things feel finished.

  Give us hope when we feel discouraged and faith to believe that you are still
• 3:49
  working behind the scenes.

  Remind us that our story is not over and that you are always writing something greater.
