- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about four guys today.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like we're closing out a lot of things today.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: Today was the last day of school for my daughter moving into high school.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: We saw
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: 12 out of the 13 picks now signed by the dolphins and the 13 should be pretty soon here and like you said we're finishing up our review series for the 2026 Miami Dolphins draft picks and still got some some really good names to talk about here.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to be talking about Kevin Coleman Jr., say do trayor, DJ Campbell, and Max the well.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: And so, let's go ahead and get right into it, guys.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_02]: Kevin Coleman Jr.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: Pick number 177 in the fifth round, Orange and St. Louis, Missouri, went to Missouri, as well, finished off his school year, his senior year there.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: And four schools and five years, coach.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: Jackson State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Missouri really only dropped seven catches in his career, right?
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: 5.7 yards after the catch per reception, forced 18 miss tackles as a receiver.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_02]: He just wasn't a slot guy.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_02]: He worked out of that backfuel as well.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: Almost 600 career punk return yards, returned touchdown, 12.6
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: He has that special team's value for the dolphins, you know, as a punt returner kick returner as well.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: Sadue Treor was also his teammate in 2024 at Mississippi State and they were just drafted three picks apart.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah Kevin Coleman is a really interesting one.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: I did a deep dive on him a few days ago and I don't know that he stands out.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: quite in the ways that, you know, you would think like I think that a lot to compare him to Malik Washington because they're kind of similar in terms of stature and in some ways the way they were used, but I feel like Malik Washington is a little more of a physical player, whereas Kevin Coleman has a little bit more quickness to him.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like you said, they used him in the back field, very much a gadget type player didn't see him lined up on the perimeter a whole lot,
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: press coverage.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know what that package really looks like for him.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: As a receiver was almost exclusively used in the slot, but they also, right, they were running jets to him.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: They were lining him up as a wildcat quarterback.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like you said, they used him as a punt returner there as well.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of versatility there, but on the flip side, but you talked about him, you know, the five different schools.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: And
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: On one hand, right, you don't like to see that, but on the other hand, I think we're going to see more of that with the NIL, the transfer portal in the way that guys can hop around the country in terms of doing that, but the other side of that is that he never really got a chance to develop in one place.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was kind of like, hey, here's a package of plays for you, go, you know, be elusive, make something happen, whereas I think that you know, we've heard
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: John Erick Sullivan talked about wanting the draft guys who's best football as ahead of them.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: And when you look at how Coleman is bounced around the NCAA, I think there's still a lot of room for him to develop, a lot of room for him to grow as a receiver, and it's going to be interesting to see how he develops, you know, especially as we get into year two, three, and see I was able to, you know, stack from year one to year two and see that improvement from them.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, he's more productive wherever he's been, right?
- 5:12[SPEAKER_02]: Mississippi State, that was his breakout season, 74 catches for 932 yards, 6 touchdowns, 13 all SAC, 66 receptions at Missouri, 732 yards, a touchdown.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: You know, his production dipped a little bit due to scheme and personal factors.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_02]: That were outside of his control.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: But he's not a primary wide receiver guy.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's neither X type of wide receiver.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: He's your pure slot guy 510 just under 180 pounds, right?
- 5:40[SPEAKER_02]: He can run those Z routes, you know, as that Z Y receiver, he can run those sharp routes.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's able to, you know, dip his hips a little bit, disguise his intention, how he's going to be manipulating leverage.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: so that way he can create separation at the top of the stem.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, with his 4.4940 speed, you know, he's able to keep that speed as he goes throughout his rot tree, right?
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: It also allows him to separate late where corners are trying to catch up to him and then one last burst at the end where he's able to get out of his break and make that catch.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: He understands zone pretty well.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: against man, you're able to get his hands on him, you're able to press against him.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: But again, more so you'd prefer to play man up against him, but up against Bobby Sloak's offense defends his or more so going to be playing his own contribution.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and like you said, I think that, you know, when he can work in space, he's a lot more effective.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: He is very good at alluding tackles.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's not very strong, but he can be slippery.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: He can be, you know, Tufts attack on a phone booth, that type of thing.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you talked about the production a little bit there.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was CK pointed out that over all four years where he was playing, that his yards per catch dropped every year.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: So that's a little bit concerning.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: You kind of have to dig a little deeper.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, like you said, the breakout season was 2024 at Mississippi State.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: But one of the things that you got to keep in mind there right it you know drop from 74 sections to 66 drop from 932 to 732 in terms of yards, but they were also missing their starting quarterback that Missouri and Bo Probula for three of those gains right so if you get the starting quarterback out there.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: for another three games, then you, you have three more games of production, maybe you get an extra one in terms of bowl game stuff like that.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: So like you said, right, personnel factored into it as well in terms of why that production dropped.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then you also have to think about.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: As well as that four different starting quarterbacks he's played with and you bring up the point that you know when you're starting quarterback is out for three four games.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we saw it to you know, Jalen Wawl's production dip whenever tool was not in the game.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: Tyre killed just a little bit too whenever tool was not in the game as well.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: So when you have your starting quarterback.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: you get that chemistry, you're able to produce a little bit more.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: Now when we talk about with Malik Willis and Bobby Slowics system, that play action, that wide zone scheme opens up underneath, you know, drag routes, curl routes, those crossers, and with Kevin Coleman's Juniors precise positioning and the way he's able to run those routes, you know,
- 8:41[SPEAKER_02]: just at the short area part of the field, he's able to position himself really well up against zone coverage and that's an ideal match.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: Now, do I think he's going to, you know, push Malik Washington, or maybe even Caleb Douglas for that wide receiver three roll?
- 8:55[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see when it comes to camp.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: But
- 8:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's a fifth round pick, Malik Washington was a start-of-last season, Caleb Douglas, was a third round pick as well, and then you also have Chris Bell, who is also a draft in a third round.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_02]: So he's got a lot of competition that he needs to work up against.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, I think you'll agree with me, like his best bet to make the roster is in special teams.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: The punt return game, the kick return game being a gunner,
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: you know, eluding those tackles, maybe even making those tackles on special teams.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I think that that's going to be a big thing for him.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: When you talk about the players that he's really going to be competing for snaps with, right, you're you're looking at the Malik Washington's, you're looking at the the two two out wells, even the Taj Washington's in there.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Right, those are the type of players that operate out the slot can do some of the same things that Kevin Coleman can do as well.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that special team is going to be where he's going to need to make his mark because he is.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think he has somewhat limited in terms of where you can align him specifically as a wide receiver.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: You can do some other things in terms of out of the back field, you know, running jets, running wildcat, that type of stuff.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: When you line him up as a true wide receiver, I think you're a little bit limited in terms of the alignments that you can put him in.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think, see, I'm beating out of Malik Washington right health, you know, related would be the only issue there.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that, you know, it would have to be a scenario where the dolphins decide that for example, Malik Washington is too valuable to use as a part return, but then you have a guy like Kevin Coleman, who is similar in that regard, maybe even a little more of a big play guy than what Malik Washington is and that Kevin Coleman can develop into
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: a primary, putter, that can also spell Malik Washington.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's the best fit for him.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then like you were saying, you know, if he can expand that special teams role where he can contribute on some of the coverage teams as well, in terms of tackling, like that's going to be his best path to making his roster and really solidifying himself on there.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: All right, three picks later, C. DuTree or was picked underneath pick Adam Mississippi State, board in France, the parents of Algerian and I, I've oriented St. group in London, played soccer as a gold keeper, attended the NFL Academy in London, right?
- 11:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Mississippi State from 2024 to 2025.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: 69 catches, 230 yards, six touchdowns.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: You know, started in 2024 and 2025.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: It was a reliable SEC tight end.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_02]: 48 games, over 130 catches, almost 1.5K yards and 10 touchdowns in his career over 2,000 snaps.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_02]: As a tight end, 64, 244 in coach.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: This feels like another F position type of player to me.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: He can catch.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's not the best blocker out there, but, you know, at least average to maybe, you know, serviceable as a lead blocker when his athletic profile is more so way receiving type of tight end.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, you're talking about the athletic profile rate 64244 has that 40 inch vertical leap, which is the 99% tile for tight ends, also the 10, 7 broad jump, which is the 98% tile for tight ends.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that that shows up on film form, right?
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: You can see
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like he said, very much an F-type player, right?
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: Move, catch.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: His run after catch really surprised me.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's very physical with the ball.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: And he has not necessarily an elusive type guy.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: But he will fall forward.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: He will fight for extra yards.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: But there is a lot of room to develop as that inline block.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure that he's ever going to be right.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: He's never going to take snaps from Willcast Merrick, for example.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: But when you look at the fact that like you said right international pathway player here still relatively new to the game he's got a lot of untapped potential there.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: that you can you can get into when you look at the effort when you look at the physicality right there's a lot of reasons to think that there is still more meat on the bone for him to develop as a blocker from where he is and that international pathway player thing is kind of important there too because right now with the 90 man roster you get an exception for that so he's essentially a free roster spot right now I believe that he is the first international
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: how much the dolphins thought of him.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: And if he doesn't make the 53, and clears waivers, then there's essentially a free spot on the practice squad for him as well, which I don't know whether or not that's the long-term vision form, because when you draft a guy in the fifth round, you, that's typically a guy that's going to likely make the 53, right?
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: I would be
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: if there continue to be high on him through camp, for example.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: then I would be a little hesitant to think that you could cut him and sneak him through waivers and put him on practice water right because you go back to the Elijah Higgins thing right they tried to do that with him as a sixth round pick and sneak him through and that up going to the Cardinals on waivers so it's going to be interesting to see where trail or a fits with that 53 man roster even through preseason right this could be a player that maybe shows out in training camp and they kind of decide to
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: essentially not targeting right try to make it a richer year try to hide him
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: and then slip them through waivers and bring them back on practice what as that international pathway player.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I mean, definitely a player that is super athletic, still a lot of upside and going to be interested to see how he performs, I guess, and I felt palettes.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, just that limited football experience, six years total, four in college, doesn't necessarily have the developed football instincts against players who will be doing this in high school throughout college as well,
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: as well.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, his run-blocking definitely needs some improvement even though we said it's average.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_02]: His profile is as a F-Tide-end, but he's not a traditional White-Tide-end.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: right, and you said he's not going to take snaps from wall cast right, and Trior does not need to be a blocker to contribute immediately, right, special teams obviously the calling card of the game.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: And the thing with him is if, if, if, for example, right, we're hearing out a camp that Malik Willis is not able to, was not able to move the offense very early on, early last week.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: And now,
- 15:46[SPEAKER_02]: the offense has gotten a little bit better.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what's going to happen, you know, come week one week two, uh, Treor's on the field and Malik Willis is trying to look for him.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: And the play's already broken down and he doesn't know where to go.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: Compared to a Will Casemaric Greg, Dolcech, maybe if Kevin Coleman juniors on the filter, a guy like Caleb Douglass,
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: they'll know where to go, they'll know how to handle the scrambled drill, you know, tray or he's still learning.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: And you said, you know, with his athletic profile, the ceiling can be up there.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: But
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: There's some uncertainty for Treor for this exact same reason, right?
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's he's got to develop his blocking number one to get onto the field as that second, maybe third tight end, if those such a tire tree or can come in and sub him for, you know, maybe five, six snaps a game, you know, making impact blocking.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: or Devonation is going to the white.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: He can get to the second level, make that clean block for him, or you know, just moves the chain on a critical, you know, third and two, third and three, as you know, that pass catcher no one's really looking at him.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to have to make his an abs count.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to have to make training camp count too.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I very much the training camp is going to be a big deal for him.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: And
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think, you know, we talked about Kevin Coleman's ideal role to be able to have that path of 53 for Treyori, but we've talked a couple of times on here about the increase of 12 and 13 personnel across the NFL.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: And Treyori is, you know, probably the ideal type of third tight end that you have on the roster, right?
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have cast mares going to be your wide.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: Dolce is just going to be your primary F. And you're probably going to have somebody else,
- 17:37[SPEAKER_00]: hybrid, why, also your full back type role, but you're gonna need somebody to back up dosage and try or it could really fit in there to wear.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: Again, right, special teams are gonna be massive for him because you can't have a third tight end that's not a contributor on special teams.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: But if he can prove himself to be valuable in that role, then you can have him basically shadowing dosage, learning from dosage.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: You go into those three tight ends that you give him.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: three to five snaps a game, right?
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: And you kind of let him dip his toes in there and get wet so that, you know, when you get to 2027, dulls such as on a one-year deal, right?
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: If dulls such as just average in 2027, and try or he makes a jump, right?
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: Then maybe that's where you organically can move on from Greg Dullsage, that type of thing.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: So that's, you know, kind of where I see it
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think that he's going to be an effective receiver, essentially from day one, like I knew about the soccer background, I did not know about the goalkeeper background, which is interesting because if you think about the way that goalkeepers play and they have to, you know, we talk about catch radius with past catchers all the time, right, right?
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, you're laying out sideways, up, down, right, going to the corner, right?
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: So that that translates pretty well, I would think.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that he's going to be
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: an effective receiver from the very beginning and then where his blocking ends up is kind of going to determine where that ceiling lands for him.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you think about it in that 13 person, oh, maybe potentially some snaps and preseason where he's in 2021, 22.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: personal line as you know that flex tied in in the slot too high zone as a defense he runs that see many random seam routes really well at Mississippi State you know with his goalkeeper instincts right if the ball is thrown you know 18 20 yards down the field he's able to track it over his outside shoulder.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_02]: right with his goalkeeper instincts he can adjust his body sideways extend his arms fully just plug in the ball out of the air with his fingertips and you know just absorbing the contact from the safety on the catch too right he can hold onto that he can potentially you know bounce off of defenders as well next to two three yards after the catch you know before being brought down and that's the kind
- 20:02[SPEAKER_02]: of tight-end and receiving tight-end that the dolphins have lacked in heaters think of like Mike Gaseki, but he was six, six dinner routes and has certainly have the yards after the catch, but he's able to pluck the ball out of there.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: Think of him as a mini Gaseki in that way.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's the way I see it as his ceiling.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense, right?
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that he's
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: You know, again, we're going through the differing F tight ends that we've had through the years.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think he is better after the CACs and what Gassicki has maybe not quite the the radius there.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you compare him to a John who's Smith, not sure that he's quite the the shift the after catch guy that John who is, but probably just as physical.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that when you, you know, the the F tight end, those receiving tight tight ends are kind of there, essentially their own position in today's NFL, but you do have
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: That range of the Goseki with the wide catch radius and four run after the catch versus a Johnny Smith who might not have the same catch radius, but is better after the catch.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think Treoria is somewhere comfortably in the middle of those two when we try to come up with a comparison form.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: All right, with that, we will head to break.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: There's a thief in these finals.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody who's been quietly locking up all series long.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: You've got a hunch on who it is.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: Underdogs got one million for whoever calls it, right?
- 21:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's right, a million dollars is sitting in a pot.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: And all you have to do is pick the player who walks away with the most steals in the series.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: Your picks don't even need to win, just back the right thief, because you can make picks and win money right now.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_02]: The pot is waiting.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_02]: Get your picks right and you could win up to 5,000 times your cash and would steal the pot, even your losing picks can pay out.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going ahead and taking Victor Webbin Yama in Game 2 to have, oh, higher than three blocks, up against the New York knit nicks.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_02]: This Friday, this Friday night.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead and make sure you download Underdog Fantasy on the App Store.

- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: All right, Coach, we talked about say due trailer, and we also talked about Kevin Coleman Jr.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_02]: Both of those guys were teammates at Mississippi State in 2024.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_02]: Now their teammates, again, with the Miami Dolphids in 2026.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_02]: All right, onto the final two remaining players in this Miami Dolphin Draft class, which featured four Texas long horns being drafted along with two Texas tech teammates.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: So they had six players.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_02]: from the state of Texas drafted here, six out of 13, and one could denote they could be eyeing maybe more Texas players or Texas tech players in the 2027 NFL draft.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: But let's go ahead and talk about DJ Campbell.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_02]: He was acquired via trade with the Carolina Panthers, right?
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: Born in Arlington, Texas Bowie High School, and he didn't actually want a
- 24:12[SPEAKER_02]: initially.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_02]: He was a defensive tackle all throughout youth football into high school.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: His head coach switched him to the offensive line.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: He was selected for the 2020 to under armor all America game was ranked number 14 overall by ESPN top 10 overall nationally.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_02]: recruits from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, and he chose Texas.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: And he was a starter his sophomore year and never lost the job.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: 43 consecutive starts at Wright Grant Coach.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this is a player.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: I've kind of watched for a while.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: I've always been a fan of, you know, the offense that Texas runs was Steve Stark-easian.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: Kyle Flood is one of my favorite offensive coordinators to listen to any time he's talking right you go back to 2024.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: I was really high on Chris Jones, who ended up going to the Cardinals last year with a very high on Kelvin Banks.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I've watched this offensive line for a while.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen DJ Campbell playing for a while and he's one of those guys that never really stood out, but was also never a liability either.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_00]: Six foot three, 313 has some abnormally long arms for a guard right at 34 and a quarter inches is more than a full inch above the league average of 33.08 and then his wing span is about three inches wider.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, a guy that really covers a lot of space, even though he's not that, you know, he's not Patrick Paul keeping proctor that six foot seven monster right,
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I think that when we look at DJ Campbell, I think one of the, the legs up that he has on some of the other young offensive linemen we've had again, playing in that Texas offense.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: When we look at guys like Jonas of I and I, Caden Proctor playing for Arizona and Alabama respectively, those teams really didn't run a lot of outside zone and we've heard every linemen that comes to Miami or any other Shanna hand type team.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: talking about how they do things differently.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: They're running off the ball, right?
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: They're trying to, it's a different mentality of playing.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, I think that, I think that was part of the developmental struggle with Jonah was switching sides and adjusting to doing that, Caden Proctor staying on the same side, but still has to adjust to doing that.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas DJ Campbell, right, he may come in and hit the ground running
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: a little quicker.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think the big thing for him is going to come down to diversity, right?
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: Because we know that King Proctor is the left guard.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: Jonah seems like he is likely the the right guard here.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: And then Aaron Brewers obviously the starting center.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: So Campbell I think is going to have to be able to show that versatility.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: You talked about him starting so much on the right side.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to need to be able to show that he can play on the left side as well.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Both Jon air solvent and Jeff Haffley talk about the importance of Lyman being able to play multiple positions and we saw reports that you had there going to work DJ Campbell at center a little bit as well.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that it's going to be interesting to see how he develops through camp and to see how he plays on both sides and if he can develop into a competent center as well.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, he was one of the most durable experienced guards in the trial class, right?
- 27:45[SPEAKER_02]: He faced Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant in the Jesus Citrus Bowl, New Year's Eve in 2025, actual first from defensive tackles, you know, and a pretty big bull game, right?
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: And John Eric Sullivan, he praised his steady improvements that he made throughout, you know, his three starting years at Texas.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's documented on tape.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: right when you talk about just his scheme fit into Bobby slowx off in that shanhand tile system yeah he can fit into those outside zone he has the long arms which he can trap and snatch second level defenders but also
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: It kind of also allows Bobby slowly to differentiate a little bit where there can also be vertical run concepts as well where there's a little bit of gap scheme as well.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, because Texas not only did they also run wide zone, but they also ran gap as well.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: And when you talk about gap schemes coach, you're literally moving the player, you're displacing the player instead of moving either to the left or to the right side and getting up to the second level.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's not doing no combo blocks on those gap concepts.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: He's not going to help out Austin Jackson if he's, you know, on the right side, he's going to be one on one against his man and he's going to disrupt the defensive line.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he's got,
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: power in his legs, you know, and his body, he's got a steady core base where he can generate that drive as a run blocker.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: He has that strength, he can stay engaged, he finishes those blocks, and he's a nasty, nasty guy that can run his feet throughout the whistle.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I agree completely.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, when you talk about the build of interior offensive
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's tough to look at a player basically the silhouette and be able to judge a player off of that.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: But when you look at a Liam I can burger coal strange those type of players you can see that narrow lower half and you see that show up on film as well the way they struggle against those first level right the big defensive tackles.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas DJ Campbell, right, even though he may be similar size overall, that weight distribution is a bit different where he is very thick in the lower half and that shows up in his ability with his leg drive.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I think the biggest thing is that similar to a wheel cast merit, you kind of know exactly what you're getting with the DJ Campbell, right?
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: We've talked about other guys in Traeore, Kyle Lewis, Trae Moore, like we're talking about them
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: change positions in some cases or learn football like DJ Campbell has played a ton of football has a ton of film out there against SEC level competition and we've heard Johnny or Sullivan talk about when you're drafting especially deep here in day three that you're either looking for those guys they just have that solid consistent film or have those
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: physical attributes that you can develop anything DJ Campbell.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he does have solid physical attributes.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is just the again, you know exactly what you're getting when you put him in the lineup.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a, you know, not a, not a huge ceiling here, but we're also talking about a pretty high floor here with him.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's not.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: right he's played like he said right Kenneth Grant Mason Grant he is played against the best competition that college football has to offer and he's been able to hold up and hold on to that position in a very good offensive line school in Texas.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah I think again
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: versatility is going to be key in terms of where he slots in on the 53, but whenever he does get on the field, I feel like this is a player that you can be confident is going to be at least solid.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's going to be death behind Kane and Proctor and Jonas Seven Eyes.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be competing for that backup interior offensive lineman role.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_02]: Potentially a starter maybe in two to three years, either at center or right guard depending
- 31:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we talked a lot of good about Kate about DJ Campbell, right?
- 31:58[SPEAKER_02]: We haven't really talked about what he lacks.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: And which is past protection, up against those speed rushers to the outside, right?
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: Although his feet are really good at driving forward, it's not the best as going backward.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: Because he can't necessarily redirect, you know, his when you're talking as a guard.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: going up against a speed rusher and they're coming from the outside.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: His feet are a little bit slow to react.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: His weight is already committed outside and he can't really adjust his weight to move a little bit inside, gain that back track and make sure that the pocket is protected.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: Doesn't necessarily have that quick footiness or that speed that you need for him to move back, right?
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: He
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: along with this weight and his foot speed, it kind of limits his ability to redirect and mirror an isolation because NFO defensive tackles are gonna do then.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: They're just gonna spam that all day long yet.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_02]: So we've sought it against Cole Stranger.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: We saw up against Liam Mike and Burke.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: We're a DJ Campbell.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: He has a little bit more, you know, with in his body compared to Stranger Liam Campbell, that with can help,
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: you know, in certain situations, but not all the time.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: And he's going to have to develop that speed.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to have to develop that quickness.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: And
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: That's where the outside zone pass scheme also comes into play where it's not a pure drop back type of passing game, which it was a little bit at Texas where, you know, they had some dropbacks and then they had a lot of RPOs and then if you have some dropbacks, you have play action and from the looks of it, it looks like the dolphins often is going to run the ball.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: You know, a ton this season and he's going to have to learn in preseason in that play action game in the pure drop-exats, too.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think you can you can hide some of that stuff in your play calls, right?
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: We saw the dolphins do that in the past with two in the quick release with Malik Willis and his ability to roll out like I think that you're going to be able to
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: cover some of that and you're right like the the foot quickness.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's an issue that you may not think would show up right because we talk about and being good in outside zone.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of that is essentially linear type speed and explosion right you're running a for the most part in a straight line using the
- 34:29[SPEAKER_00]: in pass protection right you've got to be able to be get that change of direction.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that you know when he gets going in a straight line right and way off topic type comparison here right but Mike is sick you for example great linear speed but if you asked in the change direction then it was going to take about three days to get there right and DJ Campbell's kind of
- 34:53[SPEAKER_00]: exploding off the ball, running to his target and outside zone.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: He can be effective in that.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: But if you start getting stunts in there where he has to plan his foot and be able to turn, then that can be where that shows up in same deal there in pass protection.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_00]: We saw all teams do it against Jonas of I&I last year where you would overload the other side and essentially get him one on one with a tackle on his side and then you could
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: make him work in space they didn't want to want to be.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: And that's going to be the same thing with DJ Campbell.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, I think that if you get him in the lineup, you know what you're getting.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think you're getting a solid level player, but you're also getting a player that, you know, it's he's not completely
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to say he's not scheme versatile because he can play in different schemes, but he's not a player that you can just plug in there and just say we're going to call things exactly the way that we have and expect the same results.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: You are going to have to cover him up at times.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, all right.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: Last guy that the Dolphins draft in Maxwell and pick number 238 in the 7th round, a quad, a vitre with the New York Jets and his border raising Iowa went to Iowa, right?
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: He's threw in through a hometown guy four years at Iowa, walked the line of patients, 43 career games, and he didn't become a full-time starter until his fifth year.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: He was a red shirt from 2021 to 2023, 2024, he had five and a half sex, eight tackles for lost.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, he was more Soviet rotational guy.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_02]: In 2025, when he finally became a full-time starter, he played in all 13 games, 26 tackles, nine and a half tackles for loss, six and a half sex, six passes defended and two four sprumbles, and was a all big ten honorable mention.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_02]: and the big thing with him is his spin move coach right he led the entire country in pressures on spin move rushes over the last two seasons he had 27 spin move wins resulting in 27 pressures alone 45 quarterback pressures 11th highest pressure rate in the Big 10 at almost 15
- 37:13[SPEAKER_02]: almost 15% pressure rate, just as athletic profile reminds me of Roshan Gary coming out of Michigan.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Roshan Gary, he's 65, 275 pounds.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: The well in his 66258, he can gain maybe 5, 10 more pounds of muscle mass in training camp to get up to 268, maybe 270.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: and really be that heavyweight pure past pressure that Miami has lacked.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is a very much a one-trick ponytail player.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to invoke a name here that's going to make some dolphins fans grumble, but like Charles Harris coming out of Missouri,
- 37:57[SPEAKER_00]: was similar in that sense, right?
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: He also had a devastating spin move, but that was about all he had.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: The difference here is that we drafted Charles Harris what, like, number 12 over all years from here.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: And we're drafting lollin' in the seventh round, right?
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: So that's where you can take this guy who has that one really stand out attribute and see if you can develop the stuff around it, right?
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's got, he's not gonna be able to win just on the spin move in the NFL, right?
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: better competition, not that it, it was bad competition.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: It was against the big ten, but NFL tackle is going to catch on to that quickly.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to have to develop different counter moves, some different ways to set up that speed move, learn to pass rush with a little more power, and then he's going to have to hold up in the run game a little better than what he did as well.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: And we have seen Chopper Robinson talking recently and Coach is talking about him over the last
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know, chop Robinson's in that same development, right?
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: Trying to get better at defending the run, talking about how his eyes are a big thing there and now that the defense events are working with the defense of tackles and you have Austin Clark working with them.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: So this is, right, one of those essentially a ball of clay that Austin Clark can work with and see if we can, you know, mold him into something
- 39:27[SPEAKER_00]: It can be serviceable, right?
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: This is a 7th round pick.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: We're not coming in expecting him to be a 10 set guy by any means.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: This is, we've said it over and over again, especially today's show where we're talking about these late day three guys, right?
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: Special teams is going to be his path onto the roster.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: He needs to be able to be a core four special teams guy that gets a couple opportunities to pass rush in the game.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_00]: not good enough as a past pressure to just be that, right?
- 40:00[SPEAKER_00]: So this is another one that you're going to have to see him improve through training camp and show that he can do more than just a spin move.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_02]: And the thing is to when that spin move is in working and when he knows it's not working, he gets his hands up just to, you know, that passes at the line of script when he knows he's not winning that Russian.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: just that production, even on his negative reps, is actually a positive, right?
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's able to create different types of opportunities inside the pocket where he's not putting pressure on the quarterback, right?
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: when you watch a little bit of his film right he's got a really good motor he chases the plate to the end until the final whistle never really equates on the rep whereas compared to Charles Harris sometimes you know he would quit out and then if you if you think about it and you know coach it leaves me to believe which is with his size and if he gains a little bit more muscle
- 40:59[SPEAKER_02]: What did you think Austin Clark would potentially move him inside in some snaps for more so of a speedier, you know, second down second and long package or third and long package is trying to get after the quarterback right because if you think about it, even on rundowns look, he's not the best run defender.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't have the strength to set the edge up against bigger powerful offensive tackles, but you put them up again, scarves right, you know, we talked about a guy like a DJ Campbell, you know, a six wrong draft pick, you know,
- 41:28[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they want to attack, you know, a fifth or six-round guard, you know, up against the jets or the Patriots or whatever else it is, 30, 32% of Lowellon's career tackles resulted in Alos, right?
- 41:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's not just attempting to make tackles, he's making them, and he's making others pay for trying to get at him, right?
- 41:59[SPEAKER_02]: with this opportunity will have, you know, as a seventh run rookie, just that hunger, that drive, he'll want to create any opportunities, take any opportunities and make sure he wins those opportunities.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, these are always fun conversations.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_00]: And we sit here, you and I just kind of talking about where they can fit in and how they can find
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: they're way to get in between the lines on the field.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: You talked about his relentless pursuit, and that's always going to track well in the NFL, right?
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: Especially, right?
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: Special teams guys, we've seen those clips, the special teams guys that goes down, misses a tackle, gets up, chases it, 20 yards down field, and forces a fumble.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's the type of thing that you can get when you do that.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing with the pass rush, right?
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't get there, but you have other guys that are
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, flushing a quarter back out and you're not just giving up on the rap and just standing there with your offensive linemen, then you can create other opportunities and I really like what you're talking about there with the idea of, you know, maybe adding a little bit of muscle to him and moving them to the inside because like I said, I don't think that spin it was going to be effective against NFL offensive tackles, right, but if we're talking.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: alignments, schematics, stuff like that, right?
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: Think about chopper Robinson out there is that wide, nine-type player, right?
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: And we shift everything else to the other side.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: And we put that guard on an island against the well.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: And if he can get better, it's setting up that spin move.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: Then like you said, you get him against a DJ Campbell, a Jonas Vainaya, those type of guys that struggle in spaces of guard.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's where that spin move can continue to be effective in the NFL, where if you just leave him on the edge,
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick Paul's just gonna bear hug him, wrap him up, and the rep's gonna be over.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: But you get him against a guard that can't get his hands on him as quick and doesn't have the foot speed.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: Then that, again, very situationally moving him to the inside, you can create an opportunity.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: It might be a four to five snap opportunity in a season that you get to put him in those, right?
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: But four to five snacks on a year can make a huge difference.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, when we talk about, you know, he talked about his player comp like a Charles Harris, right?
- 44:14[SPEAKER_02]: Just in his past-rush game, uh, the well-in is not as technically refined, but his athletic profile, his size, his spin move up against, you know, offensive tackle, what he could potentially do up against guards.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_02]: If he moves inside, well, I read about a comp, oh,
- 44:36[SPEAKER_02]: You could compare him a little bit to Sam Hubbard.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: He played with the Cincinnati Bengals, their run pick out of Ohio State in 2017, 2018, something like that.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: He waited his turn at Ohio State, also waited with the Cincinnati Bengals.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, made the most of his opportunities.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: And he could do the same thing.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: We're lolland, he's definitely gonna have to wait his turn.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: He's gonna have to earn his role.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: And he has to maximize his moment.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_02]: He did that at Iowa.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think, you know, John Eric Sullivan and Jeff Hathlete are betting the same story happens in Miami.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I agree, right?
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: Again, right?
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: Special teams get out there, work your butt off, make some plays, maybe, you know, maybe go to a probal, special teams player, right?
- 45:21[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the kind of stuff that you do.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_00]: They can earn you snaps on the defense as well, and Sam Hubbard, I think, is a really good name to bring up there, because that's a player that, you know, is never going to be the star of a defense, what we talk about.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: a high effort guy that kind of fills a role and can, you know, it's not a liability out there.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's the same type of thing that you essentially aspire for Max to well in the be because Max, he's never, right, he's not going to be, we just saw miles of gear get traded, right?
- 45:48[SPEAKER_00]: We're not anywhere close to that.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's never going to be the way that we talk about him.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: But if you can see him,
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: contribute as a core special teams player in his first and second years.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: And then you're getting into his third year.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: He starts to gain a few more defensive snaps.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then you get towards the end of that rookie contract.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where you, you know, kind of see is he ready to be a not a full-time player, but a majority snap player on defense.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then you kind of establish a second contract based
- 46:24[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's where he could possibly become an important part of the defense that may be a little underperceuted.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_02]: Talking about 13 NFL draft prospects for a team coach.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_02]: This was probably one of our more lengthier series.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_02]: for sure within the last two years on this podcast.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll say we put a lot of effort, a lot of research, a lot of film into this as well.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_02]: 13 picks man, that's a lot for sure.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, hopefully they can get at least five six solid starter contributors out of this draft class for sure.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you talk about, you know, Kaden Proctor, Chris Johnson, who are likely going to be starters, right?
- 47:13[SPEAKER_02]: It got like Caleb Douglas, who Miami-Herald is reporting, could be that slot receiver type of guy who could help block in the run game.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Casamer, it gets that,
- 47:24[SPEAKER_02]: You know, second tie that in 12 personnel, 13 personnel, your traditional Y tie-dend, maybe your force player, that plays, you know, maybe 30, 40 snaps a game alongside Greg Dalsich.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: Then you also have Chris Bell, who could be potentially coming off of injury later on in the season to contribute.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_02]: And then you can't forget about Jacob Rodriguez, either coming.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, there's, like you said, 13 picks, I have had a lot of fun going through all of these guys,
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: exhaustive, right?
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: The series that we've done.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: I hope that this is the last time for a while the dolphins have 13 picks.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: I was a lot easier to do these when they only had five, six picks.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think that like you said, they're not they're not all going to pan out.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we'd like to sit here and think that they all have a role on the 53 that they're all going to get second contracts.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_00]: That's just not reality, right?
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: Probably.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_00]: Some of these guys that were picked in days one and two are not going to pan out.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that when you're talking about the first draft for John Eric Sullivan and Jeff Haffley, having this number of picks casts a wider net, right?
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think that if you hit basically 50% in the NFL draft, you're going to be a pretty good GM in the NFL.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_00]: So we talk about 50%.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_00]: of the Dolphins NFL draft, you're talking about six to seven players and if you can hit it in close to that rate, right?
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody cares if you made 13 picks.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: If you've got seven guys that pan out, there's no way that you can say if that's a bad draft, right?
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that I like the strategy for this season.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: I hope it's not necessarily the strategy going forward
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: Let's try to keep it in the single-day just next season.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so that way we don't have to do an exhaustive draft process, where we do maybe 15 players next time we're done for next time first, right?
