The reported October 2026 Abu Dhabi injection into City Football Group is real. On 14 October 2026 City Football Group Limited (CFG) allotted 11,327,163 new shares for approximately £100m, and a CFG spokesperson confirmed to City AM that all of them were taken up by Sheikh Mansour’s Newton Investment and Development.
