- 0:01What does Mother's Day have to do with you being owed $375,000?
- 0:08What about a bold prediction I'll make right now, that next
- 0:11week we can definitely see $30 plus silver?
- 0:17I'll give it about a 64.7% chance, but that's pretty darn
- 0:21good. And I'm going to explain to you
- 0:22why in this video. But we also have a massive,
- 0:27probably the biggest doom economic story that came out on
- 0:32Friday that we're going to dig into as well, showing us what
- 0:36we're looking at in the coming five to six months for the US
- 0:40economy. And you know what that means for
- 0:43you as a gold and silver investor.
- 0:46It's not necessarily going to be fun, but you will be very happy
- 0:50that you've invested some or part of your money into precious
- 0:54metals. And that only leaves our friend
- 0:57Jerome Powell in the Federal Reserve with one thing to do.
- 1:01So happy Mother's Day. What does Mother's Day have to
- 1:04do with gold and silver? I'm going to show you something
- 1:07very interesting that could have resulted in you right now having
- 1:11over 375,000 US paper Unicorn fart dust dollars worth of
- 1:18precious metals. Let's dig into this right away.
- 1:22And you're going to be fascinated.
- 1:23I was shocked when I did this math.
- 1:25I called this the Mother's Day silver calculation.
- 1:28OK, silver. And we're going to talk about
- 1:31gold as well. But silver's been valuable for
- 1:33over 4000 years. Here's a fact.
- 1:37You have a string of mothers going back 4000 years.
- 1:41You've got a mommy, You've got a grandma.
- 1:44Think of your grandma. Maybe you knew your great
- 1:46grandma, but you didn't know all those great, great, great,
- 1:50great, great into Infinity. It seems like almost grandmas
- 1:53going back 4000 years. Here's an interesting fact on
- 1:57how they could have bestowed upon you over 375,000 U.S.
- 2:02dollars worth of gold. And we're gonna do the numbers
- 2:05for silver as well. If each one of those 4000 years
- 2:10worth of mothers had given number one given and passed down
- 2:16one ounce or one ounce of silver or gold to every baby that was
- 2:20born over all those generations, how much silver or gold would
- 2:25you have today? So every time each one of those
- 2:28mothers or grandmothers or whatever you know had a baby,
- 2:31they added one ounce of silver or one ounce of gold depending
- 2:35on the family into the Kitty that was passed down.
- 2:38Your mother would have given you because of 4000 years of of of
- 2:44lineage. Like if you're a big family tree
- 2:46and if you consider that a baby was born about once every 25
- 2:51years, you do the math on that. That's 160 mothers that have
- 2:57would have been passing down an ounce of silver or gold to you.
- 3:01In silver terms, that would be 160 times $28.13.
- 3:06You would have almost $4500 worth of silver.
- 3:10But it's crazy to think about over 4000 years, if your lineage
- 3:15of mothers had bestowed upon each new generation, one
- 3:19additional ounce of gold, 160 ounces of gold times the current
- 3:25Spot gold price would give you 377,000 dollars. 552 cents.
- 3:32That's your Mother's Day calculation.
- 3:35Hey, but think about what you're doing right now.
- 3:37You're stacking silver. You may be stacking gold, right?
- 3:41We're you're starting the process.
- 3:43Hopefully your children and grandchildren will pass that
- 3:46down as well. Happy Mother's Day to Susie.
- 3:48I put her up. Whoop, whoop, What?
- 3:50Wait a minute. There they are.
- 3:53Flowers right there for everyone.
- 3:56Happy Mother's Day. But let's talk about $30 silver.
- 3:59Let's go out and take a quick look at what went on this week
- 4:05in silver. This is a A5 year chart and
- 4:08we're gonna go to the five day chart.
- 4:10Guys, we had a great week in silver.
- 4:12People are saying why do you think do you think it's
- 4:14possible? I'll ask you the question that
- 4:17next week we could have $30 silver here in the United
- 4:22States. Now don't forget, what is so
- 4:24important about 303233 dollar silver is that guys above that
- 4:31level? Think about it.
- 4:32Hardly nobody bought silver at $3540 per oz.
- 4:37There's nobody that's gonna be looking to sell when silver
- 4:41takes off. Do you think all those people
- 4:43that are buying silver at Costco right now are gonna wanna sell
- 4:46when we get to 38? They're no.
- 4:48What's gonna happen is nobody will be selling as we move
- 4:52through the 30s and we will see a barrage, right?
- 4:56Like an army coming in. All right.
- 4:58We're going to become very popular people.
- 5:01People are going to be wanting silver like never before.
- 5:04That's why you most likely already have some in your
- 5:08possession. It could become a very, very hot
- 5:11commodity. But a great week in the silver
- 5:13price. Look at the strength and what's
- 5:15really interesting. And This is why I am convinced
- 5:19on top of all the other reasons why we could have this major
- 5:22breakout, let's go to right here, one year ago, this
- 5:26vertical line right here that's one year ago.
- 5:29Look at how the silver price for that entire year stayed
- 5:34basically between 22 and let's say $2425 per oz, right.
- 5:40It created a descending wedge and we broke out, went up, came
- 5:45back and we're on the way back up.
- 5:47I think we are odds on this week that we could see silver in the
- 5:52United States on the electronic exchanges.
- 5:55Breakthrough $30 per oz and I'm telling you if we can stay above
- 6:0030 for two, 3-4 weeks, we could be off to the races.
- 6:04Let's run over and take a look at gold, because gold is the
- 6:08godfather of the precious metals.
- 6:10This is one week, five days. Look at the strength that we had
- 6:14later in the week and the gold price as well, 2366 dollars.
- 6:21It's absolutely crazy right now what is going on in the precious
- 6:26metals markets. We knew it was coming.
- 6:28You were, you were prepared. You are prepared.
- 6:31I am prepared. As we look out into this coming
- 6:35week, it's going to be a fun, fun experience as we watch
- 6:39silver, I believe breakthrough $30 per oz.
- 6:42I could be dead wrong. Don't make any financial
- 6:45decisions based on anything I say.
- 6:47I'm just giving you my opinion. Let's go take a look though, at
- 6:51a place where for those of you that missed this on Friday, a
- 6:56place where where where we have a silver price already
- 7:00approaching very close to $32 per oz.
- 7:03This is our friend, the Shanghai Ghost.
- 7:06We love him. Bai Jangjun, we're going to have
- 7:09him on the show sometime. He says.
- 7:11This was on Friday. Silver vault at the Shanghai
- 7:14Futures Exchange dropped today to a new low.
- 7:19The vaults are being cleared out at the COMEX, at the LBMA, at
- 7:23the Shanghai Gold Exchange, People are wanting the physical
- 7:28metal. It's happening.
- 7:29I got a cool, crazy interesting point I want to share with you
- 7:33about what I'm observing here with the Ron's basement channel
- 7:36as well, which also shows us that the number of people, the
- 7:41interest level is starting to materially increase.
- 7:45OK, gold, silver and miners. This is a guy who's in China, OK
- 7:51is he's telling us. Gold, silver miners and jewelry
- 7:54stocks in the SGE and the SFE and the stock market all surged
- 8:01today just because it makes us happy to look at this was the
- 8:07Friday close. Over here is AG.
- 8:09That's the periodic table symbol or abbreviation for silver AG.
- 8:16The closing price in U.S. dollars on the Shanghai Gold
- 8:20Exchange was 3187. On the Shanghai Futures
- 8:24Exchange, 3194. Come on, guys, we only needed
- 8:28six more cents. I'll throw in the six cents.
- 8:33I bet you will too. $32 silver. What?
- 8:38In China? Wow.
- 8:40And again, because every time I show this, I wanted to remind
- 8:44you their market is more physical.
- 8:46It's not futures ish, paper, Unicorn fart dust, whatever you
- 8:51want to call it leveraged, right.
- 8:53They actually, when they write contracts they they make sure
- 8:56they they have more. It's it's a much more physical
- 9:00market, a much more clear representation of the physical
- 9:05price for the metal. Isn't it interesting that those
- 9:08prices. Think about this, Those prices.
- 9:11Almost $32 per oz. Don't they seem familiar?
- 9:14Isn't that roughly what what people are paying right now for
- 9:18a lot of the sovereign minted coins in the United States?
- 9:21Go to your local coin shop and say I want to buy an American
- 9:25Silver Eagle, right? You're probably going to pay
- 9:27around $32 per oz. Our friend Pat Holland from the
- 9:30Missouri Freedom Initiative, he always says that's the real
- 9:33price, that's the real price guys.
- 9:36And man, the premiums are actually quite low right now in
- 9:40the West in the United States because we've had such muted
- 9:43demand for the metals. Yes, you got that right.
- 9:47Now is a good time to buy precious metals because premiums
- 9:52are down. What do you think if if this
- 9:55continues and what I'm seeing right now with this channel,
- 9:59Ron's Basement is a market uptick in the number of people
- 10:03viewing the videos. Now I'd like to think that's
- 10:06because of my keen wit in boyish good looks.
- 10:09But the reality is it's because there's more people that are
- 10:12interested in the metals. But you know what?
- 10:16I got news for you. There's only one that I really
- 10:19care about and that's you, right?
- 10:21Number one, you individual with us right now here in the
- 10:24basement. So I'm going to tell you whether
- 10:26you're a mother, a father, whatever day it's your day.
- 10:30It's a big deal that you're here.
- 10:31So thank you for joining us. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 10:34You can subscribe to the channel that's free.
- 10:36I put out a new piece of content every day about silver, gold,
- 10:39precious metal, mining stocks. And we appreciate you and
- 10:43appreciate you when you join us here in the basement.
- 10:45But the number of people, I can tell you this, this is a little
- 10:49keen insight for you because I've been at this almost three
- 10:53years now, really focused on this channel gold and silver
- 10:57oriented. When the number of views start
- 10:59to really pick up like I'm starting to sense right now,
- 11:03that usually coincides with an uptick in the price.
- 11:08That's another part of the reason why I'm saying this week,
- 11:12don't tell everybody, OK, but this week I think we're going to
- 11:15get our $30 silver again. I could be dead wrong.
- 11:18Hey, if you want to get your hands on some silver, gold, or
- 11:21platinum before the price, before the premiums skyrocket,
- 11:26do yourself a favor and check out Pimbex right there.
- 11:30Pi, MB, EX. To me.
- 11:32They check all the boxes. Great prices, great service,
- 11:37great selection and what I've always found.
- 11:40And you need to find it out for yourself, right?
- 11:42I'm just saying, throw them into the mix, right?
- 11:45Is it? When I work with Pimbex, I
- 11:46always get more metal for my money.
- 11:49And if you ever consider converting all our part of an
- 11:52IRA into precious metals, you can talk to them as well.
- 11:56So we got an uptick in views. We've got a chart pattern that
- 12:00is undeniably showing us right now that silver could go higher.
- 12:06The path of least resistance is to the upside.
- 12:10And we got a lot more crazy information about solar from the
- 12:14Wall Street Journal of all places, and silver.
- 12:18Mind blowing information. Well, let's talk about doom.
- 12:24OK, economic doom. We had a huge story this week
- 12:29that shows us that the economy is slowing down.
- 12:31Do you feel it when you're out there?
- 12:33I was at an all day event yesterday talking to a lot of
- 12:36guys like middle class people like you and me, everybody.
- 12:40If you notice that everybody's talking about how difficult it
- 12:43is out there, how expensive everything is, and Joe Biden in
- 12:47the White House, like, we don't understand why the American
- 12:51people are so frustrated with the economy.
- 12:54Well, we got news for you, Joe. And this is not a political
- 12:56statement. Whoever the president is, I'd be
- 12:59saying this too. It's because prices are like 36%
- 13:03higher on everything that we go to buy gas, food, car,
- 13:07insurance, house insurance, you name it, OK, things are.
- 13:10But we got two, We got a, we got a, we got a piece of economic
- 13:14doom news last week and then we got like a 1-2 punch and we're
- 13:20going to cover them both right now.
- 13:21The first one. And that sent gold and silver
- 13:24screaming higher. And don't forget, guys, why are
- 13:27we talking about this? Why is this important?
- 13:29Because the Fed, and I'm going to get into that later as well,
- 13:33has only one tool in their toolbox.
- 13:37We've got a lot of tools in our toolbox.
- 13:39Yeah, we call them all these fancy names and blah, blah,
- 13:42blah. But you know what?
- 13:42The reality is the only tool they have is to print money.
- 13:45And that's what's going to happen.
- 13:47And that's when you are going to be happy scrappy hero pup.
- 13:51Happy scrappy hero pup. You haven't heard that one in a
- 13:53while now, have you? That you?
- 13:56Yes. You own silver, gold, and likely
- 14:00precious metal mining stocks as well.
- 14:03I've teased you long enough. The first bad piece of news that
- 14:06we got was a big increase in jobless claims.
- 14:10Oh, go wonder, right? They couldn't manipulate that
- 14:13number to make it look any better.
- 14:14That sent gold and silver going higher, higher, higher.
- 14:20What was that, Wednesday or Thursday?
- 14:22But then on Friday, this was the big bomb that went off world
- 14:28record. Are you ready for a world
- 14:30record? Well, you got a world doom
- 14:32record when it comes to the economy.
- 14:35Let me pull this one up for you right now.
- 14:38And here we go. Is that it?
- 14:43Stocks. Right.
- 14:44OK, here we go. Here we go.
- 14:46Stocks end the week. This is from Zero Hedge.
- 14:48Unmuted note, as stagflation fears mount, I'm gonna actually
- 14:53highlight this one for you. Here we go.
- 14:57OK, let's begin with the biggest macro news of the session.
- 15:06Oh, but we'll just say in the history of the universe, this
- 15:08morning's consumer confidence survey from the University of
- 15:13Michigan. This is a big one, guys, a big
- 15:15number that's follow pointed to an implosion of Bidenomics.
- 15:21The report was a total disaster. That alone, right?
- 15:26But wait, there's more. There's actually a lot big, big,
- 15:29big, bigger component of this that we need to talk about.
- 15:33The index, quote, UN quote, unexpectedly plunged from 77.2
- 15:38to 67.4, a 9.8 point drop. That's not the big news.
- 15:44The biggest since August of 2021.
- 15:47You might be thinking that's the big news.
- 15:49No, but we had the biggest drop in a long, long time.
- 15:53But wait until you hear this. This is absolutely shocking.
- 15:58OK, there's the change. There's a chart.
- 16:01Let's pull that up. OK, that's not good.
- 16:03That part right there, guys. That is not a good thing for a
- 16:08strong, supposed strong economy. Oh, it's not letting me get out
- 16:13of this. Hold on.
- 16:19See if I can do that. No.
- 16:22All right, well, hold on, guys. I'll just verbally tell you what
- 16:33the absolute crazy part of this is.
- 16:35I wish I could read it to you, but I can't.
- 16:38The computer froze up. The crazy part was it was the
- 16:42biggest, OK, it was a massive miss, but not only was it a
- 16:46massive miss, that shows that consumers are are in big
- 16:50trouble. And remember, we live in a
- 16:52country where the consumer is the backbone.
- 16:55Think about two things you've always been told about the
- 16:57United States economy. Number one, the consumer is the
- 17:01backbone of the US economy. OK, university, big, biggest,
- 17:05huge, massive drop. But it was the biggest.
- 17:08This is the big news. It was the biggest mess based
- 17:12miss. Meaning that what they were
- 17:14expecting the number to be and where it actually was, it was
- 17:18the biggest mess in the history of the index.
- 17:22That's what's going on right now with consumer sentiment in this
- 17:25country. In a country where the consumer
- 17:27is the backbone of the US economy.
- 17:29Think about that, number one, Think about #2.
- 17:32What's the other thing you hear? Right.
- 17:34Small business is the heartbeat of the US economy.
- 17:38Oh, really? OK, Well how come 43% or 60% of
- 17:43small businesses can't pay their rent?
- 17:45Why is Red Lobster the big RL? If you want to get some of
- 17:48Walt's favorite shrimp? Bah Bah Bah.
- 17:51I'm not a big fan of Red Lobster anymore, but nonetheless, if you
- 17:54want to get some Walt's favorite shrimp before it goes into
- 17:57shrimp heaven, you might want to head over there 'cause I got
- 18:00news for you. The big RL Red Lobster.
- 18:03Bye bye. OK, bye bye.
- 18:05Or likely bye bye, is what they're saying.
- 18:07Things are a big, big mess. And again, the important part
- 18:11for us to remember as we look at this is is thank you, Susie is
- 18:16the isn't happy Mother's Day. Susie is the fact that the only
- 18:20thing the Fed's gonna be able to do is print money.
- 18:23Which will send the value. It'll send the price, don't
- 18:27worry. But it'll also send the value of
- 18:30your precious metals going up, up, up through the roof.
- 18:34But that's not more that. That's not all.
- 18:36There's more, right? There's a lot more.
- 18:38Hold on one second here with me, guys.
- 18:41Wanna pull up our banner? Right.
- 18:44It'll tell you where to go. Check out Pinbex.
- 18:46I'm gonna have a drink of coffee.
- 18:47It's Sunday morning. Why don't you have a little sip
- 18:49of coffee too? And we'll get right back
- 18:50together here in one second. OK?
- 19:04We're back Because we know. Yes, we know, right?
- 19:10The economy, tanking, the Fed, printing money.
- 19:12It's all they can do. We're gonna talk more about that
- 19:15later and why That's a great thing for using it.
- 19:17But what's the other major? The one that we don't talk about
- 19:21enough, The big, big, big kahuna factor that supports higher
- 19:26precious metals prizes has for thousands of years all those
- 19:314000 years worth of of value and silver and gold.
- 19:36All those grandmothers and great grandmothers that passed all
- 19:39that gold and silver down to you.
- 19:41What did silver and gold do over all those generations?
- 19:45It protected people during times of the big term we can use to
- 19:51describe this is geopolitical turmoil.
- 19:55Gold and silver have seen every type of political system.
- 19:58Gold and silver have seen every type of economic system.
- 20:01Gold and silver has seen every type of war, right.
- 20:04And what are we experiencing right now?
- 20:07But most importantly right, we got to put the clues together.
- 20:11What do we need to look at with what's going on geopolitically
- 20:15in the world? Are we moving towards a more
- 20:18peaceful coexistence? Right where people say, yeah, I
- 20:21don't really need much silver and gold.
- 20:23Or are we moving towards a a position where there's more and
- 20:27more strife and turmoil in this country?
- 20:31What do you think? I'll ask you the question.
- 20:33Well, let's go look at a couple of recent news items and see if
- 20:36if it gives us a good clue as to what's going on.
- 20:41We aren't gonna go into these in detail, but the from Zero Hedge
- 20:44Gaza truce talks, quote, UN quote.
- 20:47Back to square one, things are not getting better in the Middle
- 20:52East. We do never though.
- 20:54Let's let's we haven't said this for a couple weeks guys.
- 20:57We would never want the price of silver and gold to do well on
- 21:00the back of any type of human suffering.
- 21:03We are, I believe, peace loving people none the less.
- 21:06We need to look at what's actually going on in the world
- 21:10and we aren't making these decisions.
- 21:12But they do impact us, right? We don't.
- 21:15We don't. We don't get, we're not doom and
- 21:17gloomers, we get paid to assess risk, OK?
- 21:22The Palestinian militant group Hamas said on Friday.
- 21:28Efforts to agree to a ceasefire for the Gaza Strip were back to
- 21:33square one after Israel effectively rejected a proposal
- 21:39by international mediators. OK so we know that's going on in
- 21:42the Middle East guys just take a take a take a deep breath for a
- 21:49second and we're going to go back in time five years I've
- 21:53been sitting here in the basement talking to you talking
- 21:56about silver and gold and I would have gladly done that.
- 21:58I used to make a few videos back then whatever.
- 22:00But if I if we we were talking five years 2019 pre pandemic
- 22:05right. OK.
- 22:07And we're talking. And I would say that, hey, five
- 22:09years in two, in May of 2024, the West and the United States
- 22:15are going to be sending F16 fighter jets into Europe to
- 22:20fight in a war against the Russians.
- 22:23You'd have been like, Ron, what are you smoking?
- 22:26Right. It's like when I say, oh, I made
- 22:27this prediction that gold would go to 2600 an ounce by May.
- 22:30Ron, you're crazy. I say that silver's going to go
- 22:33to $30.00 an ounce next week. Ron, you're crazy.
- 22:36I say that silver could go to $2000.00 an ounce, right?
- 22:39I I think that could happen in the next 10 years.
- 22:41Heck, it could go to 20,000 an ounce.
- 22:43Ron, you're crazy, right? Guys, this is real.
- 22:48Imagine we're kind of getting numb to this stuff, right?
- 22:52But this is happening. The first F sixteens to arrive
- 22:56in Ukraine quote within weeks from the West.
- 22:59But will it matter again, We're not going to dive into that
- 23:03deeply. We're just looking at this
- 23:05through the perspective, through the lens of what's going on
- 23:09right now in the world, how crazy things are becoming.
- 23:14And that's why you want to hold silver, that's why you want to
- 23:16hold hold gold, right? People that held silver and gold
- 23:20during World War Two, people that hold held silver and gold
- 23:22during during the Roman Empire. They did.
- 23:25OK, that's what we want, $30 silver next week.
- 23:37OK. The big war on silver.
- 23:40We're talking about war in the world.
- 23:42But the big war on silver is coming to an end.
- 23:46And it's the the signs are everywhere.
- 23:49What's going on at the COMEX? What about these huge short
- 23:53positions, Naked short positions in silver?
- 23:57Do you know what a naked short position is?
- 24:00A short is when you sell something hoping to buy it back
- 24:03later at a lower price so that you profit.
- 24:06A naked short, which in many circumstances is actually
- 24:10illegal, is when you sell something.
- 24:12And when on the Comex that say they sell silver but they don't
- 24:17actually own the silver to sell. OK, excuse me guys, that's
- 24:26that's happening. I'm hearing a a a word that
- 24:30there's big short positions that have been built up on the COMEX,
- 24:34on the LBMA. The war is coming to an end.
- 24:37It's been rigged since 1971 when President the midnight 1971
- 24:43Nixon took us off the gold standard.
- 24:45They started the the COMEX and the LBMA sometime in the mid
- 24:491970s. They've been rigging it ever
- 24:51since. It's coming to an end and it's
- 24:54going to happen. It's going to happen.
- 24:56I heard Andrew McGuire about a month ago talking about the fact
- 25:00like that we aren't talking years in the future, we're
- 25:04talking and he doesn't have a crystal ball, but he has more
- 25:07insight into what's going on in those markets than anyone.
- 25:10He's saying that it could be in months, right when the true
- 25:14physical, we looked at it earlier, the Shanghai, I mean it
- 25:17it it the the signs are everywhere.
- 25:21And think about this, think about this, we're all ready in a
- 25:26situation where silver has a lot of catching up to do.
- 25:31The gold to silver ratio is still at historically sky high
- 25:37levels. OK.
- 25:39The amount of silver 80 plus ounces of silver to get one
- 25:43ounce of gold that is historically sky high.
- 25:48The silver price has a slingshot move potential ahead of it, all
- 25:53right. And on top of that, and we're
- 25:55going to look at the Wall Street Journal here in just one second.
- 25:59The fundamental underlying demand situation for the
- 26:03precious metals is absolutely crazy.
- 26:07OK, let's go take a look. We have a new record, another
- 26:10new record, another breaking news record this morning.
- 26:14Guys, Let's take a look at the US debt clock.
- 26:19Right usdebtclock.org. And we know.
- 26:23We know over here. U.S.
- 26:24National debt. It just keeps going up.
- 26:27We were looking at it every day a few weeks ago.
- 26:29We were excited when it got the 30-4 trillion, 500 billion.
- 26:35Now we're already at 30-4 trillion 700.
- 26:38But what's interesting, where did it go?
- 26:41Hold on here, hold on. Oh, here it is.
- 26:45Sorry. See my little cursor.
- 26:48Look down here. Watch this.
- 26:50It's up at the top. US total debt, $100 trillion.
- 26:57We did it. I wonder if they had a big party
- 27:02in Washington. That's US total debt.
- 27:05What is that made-up of, $100 trillion.
- 27:09Let's put this in perspective. Do you realize right that a
- 27:13trillion is 1,000,001 trillion is 1 million * 1,000,000.
- 27:19OK, and we have 100? I mean, it doesn't.
- 27:22You can't even imagine what these numbers look like.
- 27:26US total debt includes household, business, state and
- 27:30local governments, financial institutions, and the federal
- 27:35government. This is why this is big big big
- 27:39big major news for gold and silver investors.
- 27:42There is no way that all that debt can ever be paid off #1 #2.
- 27:50This is why interest rates can't go much higher, right?
- 27:54The banks cannot absorb higher interest rates.
- 27:57Corporations cannot absorb higher interest rates.
- 28:01Consumers cannot absorb higher interest rates.
- 28:06The government cannot absorb higher interest rates.
- 28:09You know, all these crazy numbers, they're paying a
- 28:11trillion a year in interest and blah blah.
- 28:13And all that interest gets added it back in get it's like a
- 28:17snowball going on right now. There's only one way out of this
- 28:22guys, and you know it's not it. I I, I think it might be a
- 28:27misstatement to say it's good news, it's good news for Silver
- 28:30and Gold investors from the perspective that you are
- 28:34protecting yourself against this.
- 28:36But it could still be very, very difficult times for us and for a
- 28:41lot of our cohorts. Sorry guys, I've got like a
- 28:49little tickle in my throat that won't go away, but right.
- 28:53So there's no way that the only way, the only way out.
- 28:58I'm gonna tell you the only way out of this.
- 29:00And and again, it'll make perfect sense for you as a
- 29:03silver and gold investor. But let's go over here first
- 29:07just to get an update on what's going on in the silver and gold
- 29:12market. The paper to silver ratio still
- 29:16is having a hard time breaking through 400, but there's 400
- 29:19paper ounces. Hold on, let's go up here.
- 29:24Hold on. Make sure we got this right
- 29:27paper to silver ratio, there we go.
- 29:30The year over year increase in the M2 that's the the increase
- 29:33in the M2 money supply to that's the dollar to silver ratio that
- 29:38everybody was all excited about. Sorry that popped up with this
- 29:43one. But I wanted to point out is
- 29:45this, if you average though over the last five years they they
- 29:50updated this, the dollar to silver ratio is 0 because the
- 29:54amount of dollars is going down, down, down.
- 29:57But if you do a five year average of the number of dollars
- 30:01that were created to the amount of silver that was produced in
- 30:05the world, you come to $1559 per oz.
- 30:12If we go down here and I'm, I'm not going to be able to read
- 30:16this, the paper to silver ratio, yeah, it just doesn't.
- 30:20Let let me. But that's a basically a
- 30:22measurement of of of the leverage that's in the system.
- 30:29OK, let's talk quickly about the mining stocks.
- 30:35What's going on with the mining stocks because here's here's the
- 30:38gold price. This is interesting.
- 30:40Here's the gold price right $2350 per oz.
- 30:44Crazy high gold price. We know the silver price has a
- 30:47lot of catching up to do. There's an opportunity gap there
- 30:51for silver to catch up. But it's even crazier when you
- 30:55look at the opportunity gap. The fact that the precious metal
- 30:58mining stocks have not kept up with what has been record prices
- 31:04in gold. I'm gonna pull up one chart for
- 31:07you quickly here. This is the Hui Index.
- 31:11You're like, oh, what's the Hui Index?
- 31:13The Hui index is the Gold Bugs Index.
- 31:17It's widely followed. It's like a an index is a
- 31:21conglomeration of a number of stocks.
- 31:24It's like the 12 or 16 biggest gold miners that don't have
- 31:27their production hedge it compared.
- 31:30This chart compares that index, OK, to the price of gold as you
- 31:36can see on the right hand side. And I think it's ticked up a
- 31:38little bit from when this chart was created, but it is darn near
- 31:44historic low levels. OK Oh, darn it.
- 31:48And this is not showing us. There we go.
- 31:52Hold on, here we are. And comments, OK, now we can see
- 32:01the dates on the bottom. This goes all the way back 20
- 32:03years to 2005. The price of the gold stocks.
- 32:08OK down here got to got got down to that .1 level, right.
- 32:15We've done three times that's called the triple bottom.
- 32:19What we're looking for now is for this to get back to more
- 32:23reasonable levels, right back go, let's say in that range .2.
- 32:27The gold and gold mining stocks, I'm sorry, the gold mining and
- 32:31silver mining stocks are truly, truly at unbelievable value
- 32:38levels right now. Look, I'm not giving financial
- 32:40advice. Gold, silver mining stocks are
- 32:43risky, no doubt about it. But when you look at the value
- 32:47proposition in my opinion, and yes, I own a lot of gold and
- 32:52silver mining stocks, I do, OK, the value proposition, what do
- 32:56you get for each dollar that you put into them has not been
- 33:00matched at all, has never been a better value proposition than
- 33:05what you get right now. And you can see that when you
- 33:07look at the Huey to gold ratio. OK.
- 33:11Now I also want to say thank you to two stocks that I do own, two
- 33:15companies that sponsor my channel.
- 33:16I only work with companies in which I own stock, the first of
- 33:20which is first mining gold. You can learn more about them at
- 33:24firstmininggold.com. I did a video interview with
- 33:27Paul Morris, excuse me, their Director of Investor Relations
- 33:31that came out on Friday. You can listen to him.
- 33:33Actually his e-mail address is in the description of this
- 33:36video. Also our friends at Fortuna
- 33:39Silver who who who are producing unbelievable amounts of gold and
- 33:45silver through a 20 almost 20 year growth plan, they just put
- 33:49out their earnings last week. The stock has been doing very,
- 33:52very well. But you can learn more about
- 33:54Fortuna at fortunasilver.com. OK guys, so that's the Huey de
- 34:00Gold. Oh solar, let's talk about let's
- 34:03talk about silver. This is interesting.
- 34:05The Wall Street Journal talking about silver.
- 34:10What? I couldn't believe my eyes and I
- 34:12don't see any. I haven't seen any of the other
- 34:14Youtubers yet talking about this.
- 34:16So maybe this is kind of a Wall Street Journal Ron's basement
- 34:19exclusive strap in, boys and girls.
- 34:22We're going to go for an interesting ride and see what
- 34:26the Wall Street Journal has to say about silver.
- 34:33All right, here we go. The global solar power boom is
- 34:40driving a surge in silver demand.
- 34:43OK, again from thewallstreetjournal.com miners
- 34:47are expanding their operations at I don't agree with You, Wall
- 34:51Street Journal. And ramping up production is
- 34:54prices for the precious metal climb to decades high highs.
- 35:01Oh, look at that. A solar farm, A booming solar
- 35:07power power industry is driving a surge in the demand for
- 35:10silver, which is needed in large quantities to make photovoltaic
- 35:15panels. Yes, we agree with that, right?
- 35:18Silver is integral to the production of of of solar panels
- 35:22because of its high electrical conductivity, thermal
- 35:26efficiency, and optical reflectivity.
- 35:29Woo. I've never heard it stated that
- 35:31way. So we know nothing transmits
- 35:34electricity like silver. Silver is the base from which
- 35:38any other form of electrical transmission is measured.
- 35:43Silver is 100, right? I think copper is either 94 or
- 35:4786, right? Copper only conducts much less
- 35:52electricity than silver. And it's an interesting point
- 35:55that I learned from our friend Pat Holland from the Missouri
- 35:57Freedom Initiative that that the amount of the electricity like
- 36:01in copper that isn't transmitted is what it does, is it creates
- 36:06heat. Which is why with most of our
- 36:08electrical appliances and electrical things that we have
- 36:11extension cords, whatever, if you feel them, they'll feel
- 36:14warm. Aluminum transmits even less.
- 36:19But it's, from what I understand, still sometimes used
- 36:22in like those long, long range electrical.
- 36:25You know the big electrical towers where they where they
- 36:27send electricity long distances because it's so much cheaper
- 36:31than copper. Nonetheless, you didn't come
- 36:34here for an education on silver thermal efficiency.
- 36:38Yes, silver transmits temperature faster than
- 36:42anything. Take a silver bar outside on a
- 36:44hot sunny day, put a ice cube on it.
- 36:48OK, you'll be shocked at how fast it melts because the silver
- 36:52absorbs the heat in the environment and transmits it to
- 36:56that ice cube. That's called thermal
- 36:58conductivity, as far as I know. They call it thermal efficiency.
- 37:02But who am I to question the Wall Street Journal?
- 37:05And Optical reflectivity? Yes, nothing reflects light
- 37:11quite as well as silver. You look at these numbers.
- 37:15Global investment in solar manufacturing more than doubled
- 37:20last year to around 18 billion, accounting for around 40% of
- 37:24global investment in clean technology manufacturing.
- 37:28Now let's bring up the point. OK, let's bring up the point
- 37:32that the Silver Institute came out with their big big silver
- 37:38report, their silver survey, whatever they call it, right.
- 37:42And everyone, John Little from Pickaxe Fix, we're people are
- 37:46saying BS right in the silver. The the the report that the
- 37:50Silver Institute put out was good news for us alone.
- 37:52It pointed to a massive deficit in the silver market right now.
- 37:57But what a lot of people are saying is that they vastly
- 38:01underestimated the amount of silver that was used and will be
- 38:06used for solar as we head into these coming years.
- 38:10There's some people that are calling into question the
- 38:13motives of this Silver Institute.
- 38:16I almost said Silver Academy, Silver Institute.
- 38:19I'm not going to go down that path because I don't know enough
- 38:21about it. But but there's great suspicion.
- 38:25And again, the numbers they put out were great for silver
- 38:28investors, right? Massive deficits as we go into
- 38:32the coming years, massive deficits.
- 38:35In the last three years, I think there's been like 1/2 billion
- 38:39ounces of silver that have been needed to be withdrawn from
- 38:43above ground inventories. I mean, what is that telling us?
- 38:46If nothing else, guys, If nothing else, take a step back.
- 38:50When you're looking at silver in the fundamental supply demand
- 38:53picture, there's all types of argument, big fights that goes
- 38:57on about how much silver is there above ground, how much
- 39:00silver was used by solar. I think we can all agree on one
- 39:04thing, and that is that there has been a deficit in the last
- 39:07three years that undeniably there's been more silver used
- 39:12than was produced. So we know one thing for sure,
- 39:16no matter what that above ground number is, there has been a
- 39:19significant withdraw from that account.
- 39:23Right. And that does not last forever
- 39:26because guess what? Huh.
- 39:27Yeah, we didn't talk about this for a couple days.
- 39:31There's only so much silver on the planet.
- 39:34There's only so much silver above ground.
- 39:37OK. It's finite.
- 39:38It won't last forever. So for whatever amount they took
- 39:41out, we know that the above ground resource, the above
- 39:46ground reserve fund, right, the rainy day, the silver rainy day
- 39:51fund that it's being depleted, right.
- 39:55And it's not going to last forever.
- 39:57Look, here's the I want to read something to you that I wrote
- 40:00last night that I feel very strongly about.
- 40:03OK. And then?
- 40:05I'm gonna do a little Mother's Day special.
- 40:07OK, but but, but one big key secret factor.
- 40:12Iran's basement secret. Don't tell anybody, right?
- 40:14We're always ahead of the curve down here.
- 40:17We were talking about stagflation a year ago.
- 40:21Here's the big secret, OK. We know that the Fed has a major
- 40:26impact on the silver price and the gold price temporarily.
- 40:31Noise, right? It's not us.
- 40:33But everybody else out there believes what the Fed the Fed's
- 40:36powerful, the Fed blah, blah, you know, Fiat, whatever.
- 40:40But if you think about this, the Fed only has three options right
- 40:44now. They can try to raise rates.
- 40:46Boom. We looked at the US debt clock.
- 40:49That doesn't work. Mathematically, that doesn't
- 40:51work. They can leave rates where they
- 40:53are, right? Oh, but we've got an economy
- 40:56that's crashing or they can lower rates.
- 41:02And you know, I've been saying I don't think they're going to
- 41:04lower rates, cause that'll explode.
- 41:05I'm. I'm going to change my tune here
- 41:08with you for a second and explain to you why this is a big
- 41:10deal, all right? Because we keep getting deeper
- 41:16and deeper into the debt spiral. And because this is the key.
- 41:20There's only one tool left in the Fed's toolbox, one tool they
- 41:26can use to perpetuate the system.
- 41:28This guy, right? Gomer Pyle.
- 41:31Surprise, surprise, surprise. Sergeant Carter.
- 41:35I only got one tool. I only got 1 weapon left in my
- 41:39in my arsenal. One.
- 41:42That's all he's got. And that is to print money if
- 41:46they want to perpetuate the system.
- 41:49OK, hey, we almost have 200 thumbs up.
- 41:51Susie just texted me. We get the 200 thumbs up.
- 41:54We're going to ring that cowbell this morning.
- 41:57But since he only has one tool, and that is to print money,
- 42:00right, They're gonna be forced, right?
- 42:02They're gonna be forced. And that will be that will
- 42:05happen by monetization of the debt, printing money, lowering
- 42:09interest rates. But the Fed, this is the secret
- 42:12part, OK? the Fed secretly, behind closed
- 42:17doors, they need inflation. The only chance they have to
- 42:22perpetuate the system is to lower rates and to have
- 42:26inflation. Now this is where you need to
- 42:28be. Two things you need, you need to
- 42:30protect yourself. Although I'm not giving
- 42:33financial advice, it may behoove you to protect yourself with
- 42:37precious metals, precious metals related investments.
- 42:40OK, because because what they're going to do, this is the secret
- 42:46part. He's going to do everything in
- 42:49his power to act like they're fighting inflation, but secretly
- 42:54they need inflation because it's the only way that the system
- 43:00survives. It's the only way to inflate it.
- 43:03Did you ever hear that term inflate away the debt?
- 43:07Right. They could.
- 43:08It's the only way that the system can be perpetuated.
- 43:12But remember, at the same time, right, and people, what's going
- 43:15to happen? What's going to happen?
- 43:18You, you, we we kind of, we kind of have an idea that the Fed's
- 43:21full of, you know what, right? More and more people are going
- 43:25to start to realize, like, well, they keep saying this, but every
- 43:29time I go to the grocery store, my, my, my, my check is $20
- 43:33higher than the last time. It doesn't make sense.
- 43:36They keep telling me that they're looking out for me.
- 43:38They keep telling me that they're fighting inflation.
- 43:42But every time I fill my car with gas, it costs $5 more.
- 43:46We got the cowbell. I'm going to rain that in a
- 43:48second, right? That's the other people you
- 43:51already woke up to, that you already you're looking around
- 43:54the corner, You've got your binoculars, your your binoculars
- 43:59on right. You're looking out into the
- 44:02future. But when those other people wake
- 44:04up, that's when you're going to go to your local coin shop and
- 44:07there's not going to be any silver on the shelf.
- 44:10And they'll say, well, we can order it and it should be in in
- 44:13like 17 weeks, right? That's when your neighbors are
- 44:19going to see you and say, man, you were right about that silver
- 44:22and gold stuff. That's what is going to happen.
- 44:24But the whole time it's going to be a big facade by the Fed.
- 44:29Hasn't it been a big facade? Remember, remember, this is the
- 44:33Fed that three years ago, four years ago was telling us they
- 44:36weren't going to raise rates till the end of 2023.
- 44:40That was just six months ago. They were supposed to start
- 44:42raising rates. That was the same Fed that was
- 44:44telling you that that the that that that that inflation was not
- 44:49a problem. And then it was transitory and
- 44:52then it was temporary. And then suddenly they were
- 44:57forced to recognize. Right.
- 44:59And those numbers that they publish, everybody knows, are a
- 45:02bunch of BS. Let's ring the bell.
- 45:08And I want to say a special oh, oh, I'm not going to cry.
- 45:11I might cry. I was crying special Mother's
- 45:13Day. I'll show you a picture of my
- 45:15mom. There she is.
- 45:18Hi, mom. She's the best.
- 45:20And how about Susie? You guys want to see a picture
- 45:24of Susie's the best? Mom, I can't.
- 45:26I can't. I wish I could talk more, but
- 45:27I'll start to cry. Susie.
- 45:30Well, my mom, there's Susie. I think she said she liked that
- 45:40picture, so hopefully I'm not in trouble.
- 45:42Susie is a wonderful mother. My mom's a wonderful mother.
- 45:48I don't know why I cry whenever I show a picture of my family in
- 45:51front of you guys. Anyway, wonderful mothers,
- 45:54everybody. Have a great Mother's Day.
- 45:56OK? Be nice to your mom.
- 45:58Be nice to yourself first. That way you can be nice to your
- 46:00mom. Thank you for being part of the
- 46:02basement. OK?
- 46:05And be good.
