0:01
What does Mother's Day have to do with you being owed $375,000?
0:08
What about a bold prediction I'll make right now, that next
0:11
week we can definitely see $30 plus silver?
0:17
I'll give it about a 64.7% chance, but that's pretty darn
0:21
good. And I'm going to explain to you
0:22
why in this video. But we also have a massive,
0:27
probably the biggest doom economic story that came out on
0:32
Friday that we're going to dig into as well, showing us what
0:36
we're looking at in the coming five to six months for the US
0:40
economy. And you know what that means for
0:43
you as a gold and silver investor.
0:46
It's not necessarily going to be fun, but you will be very happy
0:50
that you've invested some or part of your money into precious
0:54
metals. And that only leaves our friend
0:57
Jerome Powell in the Federal Reserve with one thing to do.
1:01
So happy Mother's Day. What does Mother's Day have to
1:04
do with gold and silver? I'm going to show you something
1:07
very interesting that could have resulted in you right now having
1:11
over 375,000 US paper Unicorn fart dust dollars worth of
1:18
precious metals. Let's dig into this right away.
1:22
And you're going to be fascinated.
1:23
I was shocked when I did this math.
1:25
I called this the Mother's Day silver calculation.
1:28
OK, silver. And we're going to talk about
1:31
gold as well. But silver's been valuable for
1:33
over 4000 years. Here's a fact.
1:37
You have a string of mothers going back 4000 years.
1:41
You've got a mommy, You've got a grandma.
1:44
Think of your grandma. Maybe you knew your great
1:46
grandma, but you didn't know all those great, great, great,
1:50
great, great into Infinity. It seems like almost grandmas
1:53
going back 4000 years. Here's an interesting fact on
1:57
how they could have bestowed upon you over 375,000 U.S.
2:02
dollars worth of gold. And we're gonna do the numbers
2:05
for silver as well. If each one of those 4000 years
2:10
worth of mothers had given number one given and passed down
2:16
one ounce or one ounce of silver or gold to every baby that was
2:20
born over all those generations, how much silver or gold would
2:25
you have today? So every time each one of those
2:28
mothers or grandmothers or whatever you know had a baby,
2:31
they added one ounce of silver or one ounce of gold depending
2:35
on the family into the Kitty that was passed down.
2:38
Your mother would have given you because of 4000 years of of of
2:44
lineage. Like if you're a big family tree
2:46
and if you consider that a baby was born about once every 25
2:51
years, you do the math on that. That's 160 mothers that have
2:57
would have been passing down an ounce of silver or gold to you.
3:01
In silver terms, that would be 160 times $28.13.
3:06
You would have almost $4500 worth of silver.
3:10
But it's crazy to think about over 4000 years, if your lineage
3:15
of mothers had bestowed upon each new generation, one
3:19
additional ounce of gold, 160 ounces of gold times the current
3:25
Spot gold price would give you 377,000 dollars. 552 cents.
3:32
That's your Mother's Day calculation.
3:35
Hey, but think about what you're doing right now.
3:37
You're stacking silver. You may be stacking gold, right?
3:41
We're you're starting the process.
3:43
Hopefully your children and grandchildren will pass that
3:46
down as well. Happy Mother's Day to Susie.
3:48
I put her up. Whoop, whoop, What?
3:50
Wait a minute. There they are.
3:53
Flowers right there for everyone.
3:56
Happy Mother's Day. But let's talk about $30 silver.
3:59
Let's go out and take a quick look at what went on this week
4:05
in silver. This is a A5 year chart and
4:08
we're gonna go to the five day chart.
4:10
Guys, we had a great week in silver.
4:12
People are saying why do you think do you think it's
4:14
possible? I'll ask you the question that
4:17
next week we could have $30 silver here in the United
4:22
States. Now don't forget, what is so
4:24
important about 303233 dollar silver is that guys above that
4:31
level? Think about it.
4:32
Hardly nobody bought silver at $3540 per oz.
4:37
There's nobody that's gonna be looking to sell when silver
4:41
takes off. Do you think all those people
4:43
that are buying silver at Costco right now are gonna wanna sell
4:46
when we get to 38? They're no.
4:48
What's gonna happen is nobody will be selling as we move
4:52
through the 30s and we will see a barrage, right?
4:56
Like an army coming in. All right.
4:58
We're going to become very popular people.
5:01
People are going to be wanting silver like never before.
5:04
That's why you most likely already have some in your
5:08
possession. It could become a very, very hot
5:11
commodity. But a great week in the silver
5:13
price. Look at the strength and what's
5:15
really interesting. And This is why I am convinced
5:19
on top of all the other reasons why we could have this major
5:22
breakout, let's go to right here, one year ago, this
5:26
vertical line right here that's one year ago.
5:29
Look at how the silver price for that entire year stayed
5:34
basically between 22 and let's say $2425 per oz, right.
5:40
It created a descending wedge and we broke out, went up, came
5:45
back and we're on the way back up.
5:47
I think we are odds on this week that we could see silver in the
5:52
United States on the electronic exchanges.
5:55
Breakthrough $30 per oz and I'm telling you if we can stay above
6:00
30 for two, 3-4 weeks, we could be off to the races.
6:04
Let's run over and take a look at gold, because gold is the
6:08
godfather of the precious metals.
6:10
This is one week, five days. Look at the strength that we had
6:14
later in the week and the gold price as well, 2366 dollars.
6:21
It's absolutely crazy right now what is going on in the precious
6:26
metals markets. We knew it was coming.
6:28
You were, you were prepared. You are prepared.
6:31
I am prepared. As we look out into this coming
6:35
week, it's going to be a fun, fun experience as we watch
6:39
silver, I believe breakthrough $30 per oz.
6:42
I could be dead wrong. Don't make any financial
6:45
decisions based on anything I say.
6:47
I'm just giving you my opinion. Let's go take a look though, at
6:51
a place where for those of you that missed this on Friday, a
6:56
place where where where we have a silver price already
7:00
approaching very close to $32 per oz.
7:03
This is our friend, the Shanghai Ghost.
7:06
We love him. Bai Jangjun, we're going to have
7:09
him on the show sometime. He says.
7:11
This was on Friday. Silver vault at the Shanghai
7:14
Futures Exchange dropped today to a new low.
7:19
The vaults are being cleared out at the COMEX, at the LBMA, at
7:23
the Shanghai Gold Exchange, People are wanting the physical
7:28
metal. It's happening.
7:29
I got a cool, crazy interesting point I want to share with you
7:33
about what I'm observing here with the Ron's basement channel
7:36
as well, which also shows us that the number of people, the
7:41
interest level is starting to materially increase.
7:45
OK, gold, silver and miners. This is a guy who's in China, OK
7:51
is he's telling us. Gold, silver miners and jewelry
7:54
stocks in the SGE and the SFE and the stock market all surged
8:01
today just because it makes us happy to look at this was the
8:07
Friday close. Over here is AG.
8:09
That's the periodic table symbol or abbreviation for silver AG.
8:16
The closing price in U.S. dollars on the Shanghai Gold
8:20
Exchange was 3187. On the Shanghai Futures
8:24
Exchange, 3194. Come on, guys, we only needed
8:28
six more cents. I'll throw in the six cents.
8:33
I bet you will too. $32 silver. What?
8:38
In China? Wow.
8:40
And again, because every time I show this, I wanted to remind
8:44
you their market is more physical.
8:46
It's not futures ish, paper, Unicorn fart dust, whatever you
8:51
want to call it leveraged, right.
8:53
They actually, when they write contracts they they make sure
8:56
they they have more. It's it's a much more physical
9:00
market, a much more clear representation of the physical
9:05
price for the metal. Isn't it interesting that those
9:08
prices. Think about this, Those prices.
9:11
Almost $32 per oz. Don't they seem familiar?
9:14
Isn't that roughly what what people are paying right now for
9:18
a lot of the sovereign minted coins in the United States?
9:21
Go to your local coin shop and say I want to buy an American
9:25
Silver Eagle, right? You're probably going to pay
9:27
around $32 per oz. Our friend Pat Holland from the
9:30
Missouri Freedom Initiative, he always says that's the real
9:33
price, that's the real price guys.
9:36
And man, the premiums are actually quite low right now in
9:40
the West in the United States because we've had such muted
9:43
demand for the metals. Yes, you got that right.
9:47
Now is a good time to buy precious metals because premiums
9:52
are down. What do you think if if this
9:55
continues and what I'm seeing right now with this channel,
9:59
Ron's Basement is a market uptick in the number of people
10:03
viewing the videos. Now I'd like to think that's
10:06
because of my keen wit in boyish good looks.
10:09
But the reality is it's because there's more people that are
10:12
interested in the metals. But you know what?
10:16
I got news for you. There's only one that I really
10:19
care about and that's you, right?
10:21
Number one, you individual with us right now here in the
10:24
basement. So I'm going to tell you whether
10:26
you're a mother, a father, whatever day it's your day.
10:30
It's a big deal that you're here.
10:31
So thank you for joining us. Please give this a thumbs up.
10:34
You can subscribe to the channel that's free.
10:36
I put out a new piece of content every day about silver, gold,
10:39
precious metal, mining stocks. And we appreciate you and
10:43
appreciate you when you join us here in the basement.
10:45
But the number of people, I can tell you this, this is a little
10:49
keen insight for you because I've been at this almost three
10:53
years now, really focused on this channel gold and silver
10:57
oriented. When the number of views start
10:59
to really pick up like I'm starting to sense right now,
11:03
that usually coincides with an uptick in the price.
11:08
That's another part of the reason why I'm saying this week,
11:12
don't tell everybody, OK, but this week I think we're going to
11:15
get our $30 silver again. I could be dead wrong.
11:18
Hey, if you want to get your hands on some silver, gold, or
11:21
platinum before the price, before the premiums skyrocket,
11:26
do yourself a favor and check out Pimbex right there.
11:30
Pi, MB, EX. To me.
11:32
They check all the boxes. Great prices, great service,
11:37
great selection and what I've always found.
11:40
And you need to find it out for yourself, right?
11:42
I'm just saying, throw them into the mix, right?
11:45
Is it? When I work with Pimbex, I
11:46
always get more metal for my money.
11:49
And if you ever consider converting all our part of an
11:52
IRA into precious metals, you can talk to them as well.
11:56
So we got an uptick in views. We've got a chart pattern that
12:00
is undeniably showing us right now that silver could go higher.
12:06
The path of least resistance is to the upside.
12:10
And we got a lot more crazy information about solar from the
12:14
Wall Street Journal of all places, and silver.
12:18
Mind blowing information. Well, let's talk about doom.
12:24
OK, economic doom. We had a huge story this week
12:29
that shows us that the economy is slowing down.
12:31
Do you feel it when you're out there?
12:33
I was at an all day event yesterday talking to a lot of
12:36
guys like middle class people like you and me, everybody.
12:40
If you notice that everybody's talking about how difficult it
12:43
is out there, how expensive everything is, and Joe Biden in
12:47
the White House, like, we don't understand why the American
12:51
people are so frustrated with the economy.
12:54
Well, we got news for you, Joe. And this is not a political
12:56
statement. Whoever the president is, I'd be
12:59
saying this too. It's because prices are like 36%
13:03
higher on everything that we go to buy gas, food, car,
13:07
insurance, house insurance, you name it, OK, things are.
13:10
But we got two, We got a, we got a, we got a piece of economic
13:14
doom news last week and then we got like a 1-2 punch and we're
13:20
going to cover them both right now.
13:21
The first one. And that sent gold and silver
13:24
screaming higher. And don't forget, guys, why are
13:27
we talking about this? Why is this important?
13:29
Because the Fed, and I'm going to get into that later as well,
13:33
has only one tool in their toolbox.
13:37
We've got a lot of tools in our toolbox.
13:39
Yeah, we call them all these fancy names and blah, blah,
13:42
blah. But you know what?
13:42
The reality is the only tool they have is to print money.
13:45
And that's what's going to happen.
13:47
And that's when you are going to be happy scrappy hero pup.
13:51
Happy scrappy hero pup. You haven't heard that one in a
13:53
while now, have you? That you?
13:56
Yes. You own silver, gold, and likely
14:00
precious metal mining stocks as well.
14:03
I've teased you long enough. The first bad piece of news that
14:06
we got was a big increase in jobless claims.
14:10
Oh, go wonder, right? They couldn't manipulate that
14:13
number to make it look any better.
14:14
That sent gold and silver going higher, higher, higher.
14:20
What was that, Wednesday or Thursday?
14:22
But then on Friday, this was the big bomb that went off world
14:28
record. Are you ready for a world
14:30
record? Well, you got a world doom
14:32
record when it comes to the economy.
14:35
Let me pull this one up for you right now.
14:38
And here we go. Is that it?
14:43
Stocks. Right.
14:44
OK, here we go. Here we go.
14:46
Stocks end the week. This is from Zero Hedge.
14:48
Unmuted note, as stagflation fears mount, I'm gonna actually
14:53
highlight this one for you. Here we go.
14:57
OK, let's begin with the biggest macro news of the session.
15:06
Oh, but we'll just say in the history of the universe, this
15:08
morning's consumer confidence survey from the University of
15:13
Michigan. This is a big one, guys, a big
15:15
number that's follow pointed to an implosion of Bidenomics.
15:21
The report was a total disaster. That alone, right?
15:26
But wait, there's more. There's actually a lot big, big,
15:29
big, bigger component of this that we need to talk about.
15:33
The index, quote, UN quote, unexpectedly plunged from 77.2
15:38
to 67.4, a 9.8 point drop. That's not the big news.
15:44
The biggest since August of 2021.
15:47
You might be thinking that's the big news.
15:49
No, but we had the biggest drop in a long, long time.
15:53
But wait until you hear this. This is absolutely shocking.
15:58
OK, there's the change. There's a chart.
16:01
Let's pull that up. OK, that's not good.
16:03
That part right there, guys. That is not a good thing for a
16:08
strong, supposed strong economy. Oh, it's not letting me get out
16:13
of this. Hold on.
16:19
See if I can do that. No.
16:22
All right, well, hold on, guys. I'll just verbally tell you what
16:33
the absolute crazy part of this is.
16:35
I wish I could read it to you, but I can't.
16:38
The computer froze up. The crazy part was it was the
16:42
biggest, OK, it was a massive miss, but not only was it a
16:46
massive miss, that shows that consumers are are in big
16:50
trouble. And remember, we live in a
16:52
country where the consumer is the backbone.
16:55
Think about two things you've always been told about the
16:57
United States economy. Number one, the consumer is the
17:01
backbone of the US economy. OK, university, big, biggest,
17:05
huge, massive drop. But it was the biggest.
17:08
This is the big news. It was the biggest mess based
17:12
miss. Meaning that what they were
17:14
expecting the number to be and where it actually was, it was
17:18
the biggest mess in the history of the index.
17:22
That's what's going on right now with consumer sentiment in this
17:25
country. In a country where the consumer
17:27
is the backbone of the US economy.
17:29
Think about that, number one, Think about #2.
17:32
What's the other thing you hear? Right.
17:34
Small business is the heartbeat of the US economy.
17:38
Oh, really? OK, Well how come 43% or 60% of
17:43
small businesses can't pay their rent?
17:45
Why is Red Lobster the big RL? If you want to get some of
17:48
Walt's favorite shrimp? Bah Bah Bah.
17:51
I'm not a big fan of Red Lobster anymore, but nonetheless, if you
17:54
want to get some Walt's favorite shrimp before it goes into
17:57
shrimp heaven, you might want to head over there 'cause I got
18:00
news for you. The big RL Red Lobster.
18:03
Bye bye. OK, bye bye.
18:05
Or likely bye bye, is what they're saying.
18:07
Things are a big, big mess. And again, the important part
18:11
for us to remember as we look at this is is thank you, Susie is
18:16
the isn't happy Mother's Day. Susie is the fact that the only
18:20
thing the Fed's gonna be able to do is print money.
18:23
Which will send the value. It'll send the price, don't
18:27
worry. But it'll also send the value of
18:30
your precious metals going up, up, up through the roof.
18:34
But that's not more that. That's not all.
18:36
There's more, right? There's a lot more.
18:38
Hold on one second here with me, guys.
18:41
Wanna pull up our banner? Right.
18:44
It'll tell you where to go. Check out Pinbex.
18:46
I'm gonna have a drink of coffee.
18:47
It's Sunday morning. Why don't you have a little sip
18:49
of coffee too? And we'll get right back
18:50
together here in one second. OK?
19:04
We're back Because we know. Yes, we know, right?
19:10
The economy, tanking, the Fed, printing money.
19:12
It's all they can do. We're gonna talk more about that
19:15
later and why That's a great thing for using it.
19:17
But what's the other major? The one that we don't talk about
19:21
enough, The big, big, big kahuna factor that supports higher
19:26
precious metals prizes has for thousands of years all those
19:31
4000 years worth of of value and silver and gold.
19:36
All those grandmothers and great grandmothers that passed all
19:39
that gold and silver down to you.
19:41
What did silver and gold do over all those generations?
19:45
It protected people during times of the big term we can use to
19:51
describe this is geopolitical turmoil.
19:55
Gold and silver have seen every type of political system.
19:58
Gold and silver have seen every type of economic system.
20:01
Gold and silver has seen every type of war, right.
20:04
And what are we experiencing right now?
20:07
But most importantly right, we got to put the clues together.
20:11
What do we need to look at with what's going on geopolitically
20:15
in the world? Are we moving towards a more
20:18
peaceful coexistence? Right where people say, yeah, I
20:21
don't really need much silver and gold.
20:23
Or are we moving towards a a position where there's more and
20:27
more strife and turmoil in this country?
20:31
What do you think? I'll ask you the question.
20:33
Well, let's go look at a couple of recent news items and see if
20:36
if it gives us a good clue as to what's going on.
20:41
We aren't gonna go into these in detail, but the from Zero Hedge
20:44
Gaza truce talks, quote, UN quote.
20:47
Back to square one, things are not getting better in the Middle
20:52
East. We do never though.
20:54
Let's let's we haven't said this for a couple weeks guys.
20:57
We would never want the price of silver and gold to do well on
21:00
the back of any type of human suffering.
21:03
We are, I believe, peace loving people none the less.
21:06
We need to look at what's actually going on in the world
21:10
and we aren't making these decisions.
21:12
But they do impact us, right? We don't.
21:15
We don't. We don't get, we're not doom and
21:17
gloomers, we get paid to assess risk, OK?
21:22
The Palestinian militant group Hamas said on Friday.
21:28
Efforts to agree to a ceasefire for the Gaza Strip were back to
21:33
square one after Israel effectively rejected a proposal
21:39
by international mediators. OK so we know that's going on in
21:42
the Middle East guys just take a take a take a deep breath for a
21:49
second and we're going to go back in time five years I've
21:53
been sitting here in the basement talking to you talking
21:56
about silver and gold and I would have gladly done that.
21:58
I used to make a few videos back then whatever.
22:00
But if I if we we were talking five years 2019 pre pandemic
22:05
right. OK.
22:07
And we're talking. And I would say that, hey, five
22:09
years in two, in May of 2024, the West and the United States
22:15
are going to be sending F16 fighter jets into Europe to
22:20
fight in a war against the Russians.
22:23
You'd have been like, Ron, what are you smoking?
22:26
Right. It's like when I say, oh, I made
22:27
this prediction that gold would go to 2600 an ounce by May.
22:30
Ron, you're crazy. I say that silver's going to go
22:33
to $30.00 an ounce next week. Ron, you're crazy.
22:36
I say that silver could go to $2000.00 an ounce, right?
22:39
I I think that could happen in the next 10 years.
22:41
Heck, it could go to 20,000 an ounce.
22:43
Ron, you're crazy, right? Guys, this is real.
22:48
Imagine we're kind of getting numb to this stuff, right?
22:52
But this is happening. The first F sixteens to arrive
22:56
in Ukraine quote within weeks from the West.
22:59
But will it matter again, We're not going to dive into that
23:03
deeply. We're just looking at this
23:05
through the perspective, through the lens of what's going on
23:09
right now in the world, how crazy things are becoming.
23:14
And that's why you want to hold silver, that's why you want to
23:16
hold hold gold, right? People that held silver and gold
23:20
during World War Two, people that hold held silver and gold
23:22
during during the Roman Empire. They did.
23:25
OK, that's what we want, $30 silver next week.
23:37
OK. The big war on silver.
23:40
We're talking about war in the world.
23:42
But the big war on silver is coming to an end.
23:46
And it's the the signs are everywhere.
23:49
What's going on at the COMEX? What about these huge short
23:53
positions, Naked short positions in silver?
23:57
Do you know what a naked short position is?
24:00
A short is when you sell something hoping to buy it back
24:03
later at a lower price so that you profit.
24:06
A naked short, which in many circumstances is actually
24:10
illegal, is when you sell something.
24:12
And when on the Comex that say they sell silver but they don't
24:17
actually own the silver to sell. OK, excuse me guys, that's
24:26
that's happening. I'm hearing a a a word that
24:30
there's big short positions that have been built up on the COMEX,
24:34
on the LBMA. The war is coming to an end.
24:37
It's been rigged since 1971 when President the midnight 1971
24:43
Nixon took us off the gold standard.
24:45
They started the the COMEX and the LBMA sometime in the mid
24:49
1970s. They've been rigging it ever
24:51
since. It's coming to an end and it's
24:54
going to happen. It's going to happen.
24:56
I heard Andrew McGuire about a month ago talking about the fact
25:00
like that we aren't talking years in the future, we're
25:04
talking and he doesn't have a crystal ball, but he has more
25:07
insight into what's going on in those markets than anyone.
25:10
He's saying that it could be in months, right when the true
25:14
physical, we looked at it earlier, the Shanghai, I mean it
25:17
it it the the signs are everywhere.
25:21
And think about this, think about this, we're all ready in a
25:26
situation where silver has a lot of catching up to do.
25:31
The gold to silver ratio is still at historically sky high
25:37
levels. OK.
25:39
The amount of silver 80 plus ounces of silver to get one
25:43
ounce of gold that is historically sky high.
25:48
The silver price has a slingshot move potential ahead of it, all
25:53
right. And on top of that, and we're
25:55
going to look at the Wall Street Journal here in just one second.
25:59
The fundamental underlying demand situation for the
26:03
precious metals is absolutely crazy.
26:07
OK, let's go take a look. We have a new record, another
26:10
new record, another breaking news record this morning.
26:14
Guys, Let's take a look at the US debt clock.
26:19
Right usdebtclock.org. And we know.
26:23
We know over here. U.S.
26:24
National debt. It just keeps going up.
26:27
We were looking at it every day a few weeks ago.
26:29
We were excited when it got the 30-4 trillion, 500 billion.
26:35
Now we're already at 30-4 trillion 700.
26:38
But what's interesting, where did it go?
26:41
Hold on here, hold on. Oh, here it is.
26:45
Sorry. See my little cursor.
26:48
Look down here. Watch this.
26:50
It's up at the top. US total debt, $100 trillion.
26:57
We did it. I wonder if they had a big party
27:02
in Washington. That's US total debt.
27:05
What is that made-up of, $100 trillion.
27:09
Let's put this in perspective. Do you realize right that a
27:13
trillion is 1,000,001 trillion is 1 million * 1,000,000.
27:19
OK, and we have 100? I mean, it doesn't.
27:22
You can't even imagine what these numbers look like.
27:26
US total debt includes household, business, state and
27:30
local governments, financial institutions, and the federal
27:35
government. This is why this is big big big
27:39
big major news for gold and silver investors.
27:42
There is no way that all that debt can ever be paid off #1 #2.
27:50
This is why interest rates can't go much higher, right?
27:54
The banks cannot absorb higher interest rates.
27:57
Corporations cannot absorb higher interest rates.
28:01
Consumers cannot absorb higher interest rates.
28:06
The government cannot absorb higher interest rates.
28:09
You know, all these crazy numbers, they're paying a
28:11
trillion a year in interest and blah blah.
28:13
And all that interest gets added it back in get it's like a
28:17
snowball going on right now. There's only one way out of this
28:22
guys, and you know it's not it. I I, I think it might be a
28:27
misstatement to say it's good news, it's good news for Silver
28:30
and Gold investors from the perspective that you are
28:34
protecting yourself against this.
28:36
But it could still be very, very difficult times for us and for a
28:41
lot of our cohorts. Sorry guys, I've got like a
28:49
little tickle in my throat that won't go away, but right.
28:53
So there's no way that the only way, the only way out.
28:58
I'm gonna tell you the only way out of this.
29:00
And and again, it'll make perfect sense for you as a
29:03
silver and gold investor. But let's go over here first
29:07
just to get an update on what's going on in the silver and gold
29:12
market. The paper to silver ratio still
29:16
is having a hard time breaking through 400, but there's 400
29:19
paper ounces. Hold on, let's go up here.
29:24
Hold on. Make sure we got this right
29:27
paper to silver ratio, there we go.
29:30
The year over year increase in the M2 that's the the increase
29:33
in the M2 money supply to that's the dollar to silver ratio that
29:38
everybody was all excited about. Sorry that popped up with this
29:43
one. But I wanted to point out is
29:45
this, if you average though over the last five years they they
29:50
updated this, the dollar to silver ratio is 0 because the
29:54
amount of dollars is going down, down, down.
29:57
But if you do a five year average of the number of dollars
30:01
that were created to the amount of silver that was produced in
30:05
the world, you come to $1559 per oz.
30:12
If we go down here and I'm, I'm not going to be able to read
30:16
this, the paper to silver ratio, yeah, it just doesn't.
30:20
Let let me. But that's a basically a
30:22
measurement of of of the leverage that's in the system.
30:29
OK, let's talk quickly about the mining stocks.
30:35
What's going on with the mining stocks because here's here's the
30:38
gold price. This is interesting.
30:40
Here's the gold price right $2350 per oz.
30:44
Crazy high gold price. We know the silver price has a
30:47
lot of catching up to do. There's an opportunity gap there
30:51
for silver to catch up. But it's even crazier when you
30:55
look at the opportunity gap. The fact that the precious metal
30:58
mining stocks have not kept up with what has been record prices
31:04
in gold. I'm gonna pull up one chart for
31:07
you quickly here. This is the Hui Index.
31:11
You're like, oh, what's the Hui Index?
31:13
The Hui index is the Gold Bugs Index.
31:17
It's widely followed. It's like a an index is a
31:21
conglomeration of a number of stocks.
31:24
It's like the 12 or 16 biggest gold miners that don't have
31:27
their production hedge it compared.
31:30
This chart compares that index, OK, to the price of gold as you
31:36
can see on the right hand side. And I think it's ticked up a
31:38
little bit from when this chart was created, but it is darn near
31:44
historic low levels. OK Oh, darn it.
31:48
And this is not showing us. There we go.
31:52
Hold on, here we are. And comments, OK, now we can see
32:01
the dates on the bottom. This goes all the way back 20
32:03
years to 2005. The price of the gold stocks.
32:08
OK down here got to got got down to that .1 level, right.
32:15
We've done three times that's called the triple bottom.
32:19
What we're looking for now is for this to get back to more
32:23
reasonable levels, right back go, let's say in that range .2.
32:27
The gold and gold mining stocks, I'm sorry, the gold mining and
32:31
silver mining stocks are truly, truly at unbelievable value
32:38
levels right now. Look, I'm not giving financial
32:40
advice. Gold, silver mining stocks are
32:43
risky, no doubt about it. But when you look at the value
32:47
proposition in my opinion, and yes, I own a lot of gold and
32:52
silver mining stocks, I do, OK, the value proposition, what do
32:56
you get for each dollar that you put into them has not been
33:00
matched at all, has never been a better value proposition than
33:05
what you get right now. And you can see that when you
33:07
look at the Huey to gold ratio. OK.
33:11
Now I also want to say thank you to two stocks that I do own, two
33:15
companies that sponsor my channel.
33:16
I only work with companies in which I own stock, the first of
33:20
which is first mining gold. You can learn more about them at
33:24
firstmininggold.com. I did a video interview with
33:27
Paul Morris, excuse me, their Director of Investor Relations
33:31
that came out on Friday. You can listen to him.
33:33
Actually his e-mail address is in the description of this
33:36
video. Also our friends at Fortuna
33:39
Silver who who who are producing unbelievable amounts of gold and
33:45
silver through a 20 almost 20 year growth plan, they just put
33:49
out their earnings last week. The stock has been doing very,
33:52
very well. But you can learn more about
33:54
Fortuna at fortunasilver.com. OK guys, so that's the Huey de
34:00
Gold. Oh solar, let's talk about let's
34:03
talk about silver. This is interesting.
34:05
The Wall Street Journal talking about silver.
34:10
What? I couldn't believe my eyes and I
34:12
don't see any. I haven't seen any of the other
34:14
Youtubers yet talking about this.
34:16
So maybe this is kind of a Wall Street Journal Ron's basement
34:19
exclusive strap in, boys and girls.
34:22
We're going to go for an interesting ride and see what
34:26
the Wall Street Journal has to say about silver.
34:33
All right, here we go. The global solar power boom is
34:40
driving a surge in silver demand.
34:43
OK, again from thewallstreetjournal.com miners
34:47
are expanding their operations at I don't agree with You, Wall
34:51
Street Journal. And ramping up production is
34:54
prices for the precious metal climb to decades high highs.
35:01
Oh, look at that. A solar farm, A booming solar
35:07
power power industry is driving a surge in the demand for
35:10
silver, which is needed in large quantities to make photovoltaic
35:15
panels. Yes, we agree with that, right?
35:18
Silver is integral to the production of of of solar panels
35:22
because of its high electrical conductivity, thermal
35:26
efficiency, and optical reflectivity.
35:29
Woo. I've never heard it stated that
35:31
way. So we know nothing transmits
35:34
electricity like silver. Silver is the base from which
35:38
any other form of electrical transmission is measured.
35:43
Silver is 100, right? I think copper is either 94 or
35:47
86, right? Copper only conducts much less
35:52
electricity than silver. And it's an interesting point
35:55
that I learned from our friend Pat Holland from the Missouri
35:57
Freedom Initiative that that the amount of the electricity like
36:01
in copper that isn't transmitted is what it does, is it creates
36:06
heat. Which is why with most of our
36:08
electrical appliances and electrical things that we have
36:11
extension cords, whatever, if you feel them, they'll feel
36:14
warm. Aluminum transmits even less.
36:19
But it's, from what I understand, still sometimes used
36:22
in like those long, long range electrical.
36:25
You know the big electrical towers where they where they
36:27
send electricity long distances because it's so much cheaper
36:31
than copper. Nonetheless, you didn't come
36:34
here for an education on silver thermal efficiency.
36:38
Yes, silver transmits temperature faster than
36:42
anything. Take a silver bar outside on a
36:44
hot sunny day, put a ice cube on it.
36:48
OK, you'll be shocked at how fast it melts because the silver
36:52
absorbs the heat in the environment and transmits it to
36:56
that ice cube. That's called thermal
36:58
conductivity, as far as I know. They call it thermal efficiency.
37:02
But who am I to question the Wall Street Journal?
37:05
And Optical reflectivity? Yes, nothing reflects light
37:11
quite as well as silver. You look at these numbers.
37:15
Global investment in solar manufacturing more than doubled
37:20
last year to around 18 billion, accounting for around 40% of
37:24
global investment in clean technology manufacturing.
37:28
Now let's bring up the point. OK, let's bring up the point
37:32
that the Silver Institute came out with their big big silver
37:38
report, their silver survey, whatever they call it, right.
37:42
And everyone, John Little from Pickaxe Fix, we're people are
37:46
saying BS right in the silver. The the the report that the
37:50
Silver Institute put out was good news for us alone.
37:52
It pointed to a massive deficit in the silver market right now.
37:57
But what a lot of people are saying is that they vastly
38:01
underestimated the amount of silver that was used and will be
38:06
used for solar as we head into these coming years.
38:10
There's some people that are calling into question the
38:13
motives of this Silver Institute.
38:16
I almost said Silver Academy, Silver Institute.
38:19
I'm not going to go down that path because I don't know enough
38:21
about it. But but there's great suspicion.
38:25
And again, the numbers they put out were great for silver
38:28
investors, right? Massive deficits as we go into
38:32
the coming years, massive deficits.
38:35
In the last three years, I think there's been like 1/2 billion
38:39
ounces of silver that have been needed to be withdrawn from
38:43
above ground inventories. I mean, what is that telling us?
38:46
If nothing else, guys, If nothing else, take a step back.
38:50
When you're looking at silver in the fundamental supply demand
38:53
picture, there's all types of argument, big fights that goes
38:57
on about how much silver is there above ground, how much
39:00
silver was used by solar. I think we can all agree on one
39:04
thing, and that is that there has been a deficit in the last
39:07
three years that undeniably there's been more silver used
39:12
than was produced. So we know one thing for sure,
39:16
no matter what that above ground number is, there has been a
39:19
significant withdraw from that account.
39:23
Right. And that does not last forever
39:26
because guess what? Huh.
39:27
Yeah, we didn't talk about this for a couple days.
39:31
There's only so much silver on the planet.
39:34
There's only so much silver above ground.
39:37
OK. It's finite.
39:38
It won't last forever. So for whatever amount they took
39:41
out, we know that the above ground resource, the above
39:46
ground reserve fund, right, the rainy day, the silver rainy day
39:51
fund that it's being depleted, right.
39:55
And it's not going to last forever.
39:57
Look, here's the I want to read something to you that I wrote
40:00
last night that I feel very strongly about.
40:03
OK. And then?
40:05
I'm gonna do a little Mother's Day special.
40:07
OK, but but, but one big key secret factor.
40:12
Iran's basement secret. Don't tell anybody, right?
40:14
We're always ahead of the curve down here.
40:17
We were talking about stagflation a year ago.
40:21
Here's the big secret, OK. We know that the Fed has a major
40:26
impact on the silver price and the gold price temporarily.
40:31
Noise, right? It's not us.
40:33
But everybody else out there believes what the Fed the Fed's
40:36
powerful, the Fed blah, blah, you know, Fiat, whatever.
40:40
But if you think about this, the Fed only has three options right
40:44
now. They can try to raise rates.
40:46
Boom. We looked at the US debt clock.
40:49
That doesn't work. Mathematically, that doesn't
40:51
work. They can leave rates where they
40:53
are, right? Oh, but we've got an economy
40:56
that's crashing or they can lower rates.
41:02
And you know, I've been saying I don't think they're going to
41:04
lower rates, cause that'll explode.
41:05
I'm. I'm going to change my tune here
41:08
with you for a second and explain to you why this is a big
41:10
deal, all right? Because we keep getting deeper
41:16
and deeper into the debt spiral. And because this is the key.
41:20
There's only one tool left in the Fed's toolbox, one tool they
41:26
can use to perpetuate the system.
41:28
This guy, right? Gomer Pyle.
41:31
Surprise, surprise, surprise. Sergeant Carter.
41:35
I only got one tool. I only got 1 weapon left in my
41:39
in my arsenal. One.
41:42
That's all he's got. And that is to print money if
41:46
they want to perpetuate the system.
41:49
OK, hey, we almost have 200 thumbs up.
41:51
Susie just texted me. We get the 200 thumbs up.
41:54
We're going to ring that cowbell this morning.
41:57
But since he only has one tool, and that is to print money,
42:00
right, They're gonna be forced, right?
42:02
They're gonna be forced. And that will be that will
42:05
happen by monetization of the debt, printing money, lowering
42:09
interest rates. But the Fed, this is the secret
42:12
part, OK? the Fed secretly, behind closed
42:17
doors, they need inflation. The only chance they have to
42:22
perpetuate the system is to lower rates and to have
42:26
inflation. Now this is where you need to
42:28
be. Two things you need, you need to
42:30
protect yourself. Although I'm not giving
42:33
financial advice, it may behoove you to protect yourself with
42:37
precious metals, precious metals related investments.
42:40
OK, because because what they're going to do, this is the secret
42:46
part. He's going to do everything in
42:49
his power to act like they're fighting inflation, but secretly
42:54
they need inflation because it's the only way that the system
43:00
survives. It's the only way to inflate it.
43:03
Did you ever hear that term inflate away the debt?
43:07
Right. They could.
43:08
It's the only way that the system can be perpetuated.
43:12
But remember, at the same time, right, and people, what's going
43:15
to happen? What's going to happen?
43:18
You, you, we we kind of, we kind of have an idea that the Fed's
43:21
full of, you know what, right? More and more people are going
43:25
to start to realize, like, well, they keep saying this, but every
43:29
time I go to the grocery store, my, my, my, my check is $20
43:33
higher than the last time. It doesn't make sense.
43:36
They keep telling me that they're looking out for me.
43:38
They keep telling me that they're fighting inflation.
43:42
But every time I fill my car with gas, it costs $5 more.
43:46
We got the cowbell. I'm going to rain that in a
43:48
second, right? That's the other people you
43:51
already woke up to, that you already you're looking around
43:54
the corner, You've got your binoculars, your your binoculars
43:59
on right. You're looking out into the
44:02
future. But when those other people wake
44:04
up, that's when you're going to go to your local coin shop and
44:07
there's not going to be any silver on the shelf.
44:10
And they'll say, well, we can order it and it should be in in
44:13
like 17 weeks, right? That's when your neighbors are
44:19
going to see you and say, man, you were right about that silver
44:22
and gold stuff. That's what is going to happen.
44:24
But the whole time it's going to be a big facade by the Fed.
44:29
Hasn't it been a big facade? Remember, remember, this is the
44:33
Fed that three years ago, four years ago was telling us they
44:36
weren't going to raise rates till the end of 2023.
44:40
That was just six months ago. They were supposed to start
44:42
raising rates. That was the same Fed that was
44:44
telling you that that the that that that that inflation was not
44:49
a problem. And then it was transitory and
44:52
then it was temporary. And then suddenly they were
44:57
forced to recognize. Right.
44:59
And those numbers that they publish, everybody knows, are a
45:02
bunch of BS. Let's ring the bell.
45:08
And I want to say a special oh, oh, I'm not going to cry.
45:11
I might cry. I was crying special Mother's
45:13
Day. I'll show you a picture of my
45:15
mom. There she is.
45:18
Hi, mom. She's the best.
45:20
And how about Susie? You guys want to see a picture
45:24
of Susie's the best? Mom, I can't.
45:26
I can't. I wish I could talk more, but
45:27
I'll start to cry. Susie.
45:30
Well, my mom, there's Susie. I think she said she liked that
45:40
picture, so hopefully I'm not in trouble.
45:42
Susie is a wonderful mother. My mom's a wonderful mother.
45:48
I don't know why I cry whenever I show a picture of my family in
45:51
front of you guys. Anyway, wonderful mothers,
45:54
everybody. Have a great Mother's Day.
45:56
OK? Be nice to your mom.
45:58
Be nice to yourself first. That way you can be nice to your
46:00
mom. Thank you for being part of the
46:02
basement. OK?
46:05
And be good.
