Isaiah talks about God destroying evil forces, promises a future where Israel blooms, and warns against being too drunk or complacent to understand God's word. In 2 Corinthians, Paul talks about a mysterious out-of-body experience he had, but stresses that he'd rather boast about his weaknesses because that's when God's power shines through.
