- 0:00Speaker 1: Weekdays, 3 to 7 p.m. The Flash Drive with Carl
- 0:05Speaker 1: Wastey on KFM 94.5. All right, we nailed Monday. We
- 0:09Speaker 1: done and dusted with that. We've got Tuesday ahead of us. Welcome.
- 0:12Speaker 1: It is your show, Flash Drive, KFM 94.5, and a
- 0:15Speaker 1: stacked show. But before I tell you about the show
- 0:18Speaker 1: and what you can win and all of that, I
- 0:21Speaker 1: stick to the priorities. And those are Cassidy Jade Nicholson's day.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I like to find out the best parts of it.
- 0:28Speaker 1: That way we can... further highlight the positivity of her day.
- 0:32Speaker 1: So let's do it. Best part of your day, go.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Oh, this is going to be.
- 0:37Speaker 3: It's not your normal morning activity.
- 0:40Speaker 4: I had a little bit of a slow morning, so
- 0:41Speaker 4: I decided to do a puzzle.
- 0:47Speaker 1: You grill me for being old. And now you did
- 0:50Speaker 1: a puzzle this morning, auntie. Really?
- 0:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I just felt like I wanted to steal it. How
- 0:57Speaker 1: many pieces?
- 0:58Speaker 3: It's like a 5,000 piece puzzle.
- 1:00Speaker 1: You did a 5,000 piece puzzle this morning?
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah, just for Vibesmen. Wow.
- 1:07Speaker 1: What is the picture?
- 1:08Speaker 4: So my friend's dad bought it back from New Zealand.
- 1:11Speaker 4: It's actually quite a cool theme. You get the picture
- 1:14Speaker 4: on the front of the box. But the picture that
- 1:17Speaker 4: the puzzle makes is what the box is seeing.
- 1:21Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:22Speaker 2: So if I see.
- 1:23Speaker 3: If your face... Wait, hold on.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I'm just trying to... Whoa, just... Let me cook, okay?
- 1:28Speaker 3: Let me land.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Sorry, yeah, yeah?
- 1:31Speaker 4: So if your face is on the front of the box,
- 1:36Speaker 4: the picture that I'm going to be making is from
- 1:39Speaker 4: your point of view.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So you have a POV puzzle.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I have a POV puzzle.
- 1:44Speaker 1: So the box is like a clue. Yes. This is
- 1:47Speaker 1: what the box is looking at. Yes. Great.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Great.
- 1:54Speaker 3: That was the highlight of my day.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Very cool.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Thanks.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I thought 3D puzzles were like a better thing. But
- 2:02Speaker 1: a POV puzzle, that's like a new trend you've stumbled upon.
- 2:05Speaker 1: That's great. What a lovely best part of your day.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Thanks. What did you do?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Oh, my word.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Because you look nice today.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Thank you. That's very kind of you to say. I know.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I just, today I wanted to get some admin done.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So usually I put on a suit when I do admin.
- 2:21Speaker 1: So I'm like, have a professional mindset.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Are you fibbing?
- 2:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:25Speaker 3: No, are you fibbing? Do you put on a suit
- 2:27Speaker 3: to do admin?
- 2:28Speaker 5: Definitely.
- 2:29Speaker 1: When you do business, like when you respond, you know,
- 2:31Speaker 1: it's that time of the year, there's a lot of
- 2:33Speaker 1: MC gigs and quotations to send out, et cetera. And
- 2:36Speaker 1: a lot of people getting married and looking for people
- 2:39Speaker 1: to be part of their receptions. And there's a lot
- 2:41Speaker 1: of that happening. So you have to try your best
- 2:44Speaker 1: to respond. The only thing is that the way I've
- 2:45Speaker 1: got my mailbox set up is that if there's certain
- 2:49Speaker 1: keywords that are not there, I have to search for
- 2:52Speaker 1: your request in spam. And that's very awkward because a
- 2:55Speaker 1: lot of those spam requests that I found this morning
- 2:58Speaker 1: are from June. So it's like I don't even know
- 3:02Speaker 1: whether to respond to those people and tell them, this
- 3:05Speaker 1: landed in spam.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Apologies.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Do you still need me? Because then you see the
- 3:09Speaker 1: date of what the event was. And the date was July.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And then the other ones in August. Anyway, but I
- 3:17Speaker 1: did everything. So I think I'm done. And I've got
- 3:19Speaker 1: a suit on because I wanted to do some business.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So then I have my business suit on and do
- 3:22Speaker 1: my thing.
- 3:23Speaker 2: It's called manifesting. Look it up. Yeah, exactly.
- 3:26Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. So I took all the
- 3:27Speaker 1: pieces of my email puzzle. Yes. And I put them together,
- 3:31Speaker 1: giving you a POV of what the rest of my
- 3:33Speaker 1: year is going to look like.
- 3:35Speaker 2: You know what? Nice.
- 3:36Speaker 1: There we go. We all just link together. Like a puzzle,
- 3:39Speaker 1: you and I.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Like a puzzle.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Hey, look at us go. Fantastic. And now there are
- 3:43Speaker 1: some other pieces you need to know about. If you
- 3:45Speaker 1: want to win a two and a half thousand cashback,
- 3:46Speaker 1: you've come to the right show. If you would like
- 3:49Speaker 1: to win a whole dishwasher, you've come to the right show.
- 3:53Speaker 1: If you know music, even by the smallest stuckey, and
- 3:57Speaker 1: you want to win up to 5,000 Rand, you've come
- 3:59Speaker 1: to the right show. If you love Dunstach, but you
- 4:02Speaker 1: really know that it's Dunstach, you've come to the right show.
- 4:06Speaker 1: So thank you for choosing correctly. We choose you right back.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's your flash drive in KFM 94.5. Let the first
- 4:13Speaker 1: puzzle piece begin. Miles Smith, Nalharan. Everybody get up for
- 4:18Speaker 1: the flash drive. And that is KFM 94 point. What's
- 4:22Speaker 1: the group's name? Five. You're welcome. I'm Carl. This is Cassidy.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And it's time to win with clicks. It's a very
- 4:27Speaker 1: simple opportunity for you to just, just give me exactly
- 4:31Speaker 1: what you, what you need. You know what I'm saying?
- 4:33Speaker 1: Like what I want to say is that sometimes clicks
- 4:35Speaker 1: offers you these unique opportunities and I want them to
- 4:37Speaker 1: be very present in your life. The opportunity stands. We
- 4:41Speaker 1: all have heritage items that we all got from clicks
- 4:44Speaker 1: in the past. Maybe we went there with our parents
- 4:46Speaker 1: as kids. And there was that special something in clicks. Now,
- 4:50Speaker 1: just yesterday, Cassidy revealed that it was Vicks at clicks
- 4:55Speaker 1: that really gave her all of the boxes, ticks, when
- 4:58Speaker 1: it came to this thing. Yep. And she was about
- 5:01Speaker 1: six when this all happened.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Come on through poetry.
- 5:04Speaker 1: You know what I mean? That's right. That's it. I am.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Slam poetry. She also said to me yesterday that there
- 5:10Speaker 1: was a low-hanging fruit that she had avoided, but I
- 5:13Speaker 1: will say it forward today. Zumbuck. Yep.
- 5:16Speaker 3: You know how it be.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Zambak is there.
- 5:18Speaker 4: The moment, the moment anyone says, hey, do you have
- 5:22Speaker 4: something for like lips and they pull that out, the
- 5:25Speaker 4: nostalgia just hits you like a brick wall, you know.
- 5:27Speaker 4: So you go to Eclipse and you see it and
- 5:29Speaker 4: it's just every memory and every question.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Have I ever finished a Zamba?
- 5:34Speaker 1: Ever?
- 5:35Speaker 7: No.
- 5:35Speaker 1: No.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 5:37Speaker 1: The same question can be said about that pot of
- 5:39Speaker 1: Vaseline in your house.
- 5:40Speaker 3: It's actually from my great-grandmother.
- 5:42Speaker 1: That's the thing. That Vaseline went through.
- 5:44Speaker 3: So hand me down.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It was a yellow... You know, the actual Vaseline, the
- 5:48Speaker 1: pot of Vaseline was like yellow.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Because it had been through like your grandfather's smoke. And
- 5:53Speaker 1: there was still like... There was actually a little crust
- 5:55Speaker 1: on the outside as well from some sand that got
- 5:57Speaker 1: in there. But that thing lasted.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's in the will. It's a family heirloom. It lasted.
- 6:01Speaker 1: You're right. It was there. You had everybody's fingers in there.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You had that type of heritage. That was what? To
- 6:09Speaker 1: apply the Vaseline to certain areas. That's all.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Right?
- 6:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Good times.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Great times.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Anyway, heritage is like that. Hey, did you see?
- 6:22Speaker 1: We just went in a little moment there. Yeah. And
- 6:26Speaker 1: I want you to go on a moment with an
- 6:27Speaker 1: item that perhaps Click still has in stock. And maybe
- 6:32Speaker 1: they're rebranded. Maybe they've just stood the test of time.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I want to know.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And you know what?
- 6:36Speaker 1: It could also be the appliances. Yesterday I mentioned that
- 6:39Speaker 1: a snackwich maker, a sandwich maker is what they call
- 6:42Speaker 1: it now, but those snackwiches, man, that cream and brown
- 6:45Speaker 1: that like I still had one of those and it
- 6:48Speaker 1: made the cheese so like amazingly crispy on the sides there.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You just did that little click thing with your mouth,
- 6:56Speaker 1: didn't you?
- 6:56Speaker 2: There we go.
- 6:57Speaker 1: That's it. That's what I'm talking about.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I'm in a place.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I'm imagining.
- 7:00Speaker 4: I should say I'm remembering the cheese and how it
- 7:04Speaker 4: would become a cheese crisp.
- 7:06Speaker 3: And you would pick it off the machine. And then
- 7:09Speaker 3: you'd eat it.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Wow.
- 7:12Speaker 3: My mouth is watering.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I have another one today.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Oh.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Do you remember? And I think that they still have
- 7:21Speaker 1: these heaters. They still are shaped the same. It's a heater.
- 7:24Speaker 5: It's a heater.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Those little.
- 7:26Speaker 1: But it's like a little... It's kind of like a
- 7:29Speaker 1: freestanding heater. It makes oil noises when you switch it on.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And it's kind of got the slats down. And it
- 7:38Speaker 1: looks like a wheelie suitcase. But it's got the slats
- 7:42Speaker 1: down there. That heater also throws it back because that's
- 7:46Speaker 1: how my grandmother and grandfather warmed their feet.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Yes, I know that one. And the one with the
- 7:51Speaker 3: electric one. The small one.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I remember.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I remember burning a blanket on one of those things
- 7:56Speaker 1: because it was winter and I wanted to like make
- 7:58Speaker 1: a cave. So I put the heater on and I
- 8:01Speaker 1: put the blanket over there. Now it's one of those
- 8:03Speaker 1: furry blankets, you know, that has the fine hairs. And
- 8:05Speaker 1: all of a sudden like, and it had burnt.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:11Speaker 4: You didn't have one of those heater and not had
- 8:13Speaker 4: the experience of burning something.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Everyone's burned something with those heaters.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Your heels. Because you put your feet up there. The soles.
- 8:20Speaker 1: You think you'd be smart. I have socks on. I'm
- 8:23Speaker 1: going to be fine. Then you just all of a
- 8:25Speaker 1: sudden that heat comes through.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Heritage products are great. Let's get into them, please. 082-945-0940.
- 8:30Speaker 1: You can win a two and a half thousand rand
- 8:34Speaker 1: ClixClub card cash back. Make sure you get those through
- 8:36Speaker 1: as soon as you can. And we'll make sure you
- 8:39Speaker 1: get through traffic.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I don't think you're ready for this, Jelly. I don't
- 8:42Speaker 2: think you're ready for this.
- 8:44Speaker 4: My body too bootylicious for you, baby.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Destiny's Child. This one's called Bootylicious. It is on your show,
- 8:52Speaker 1: The Flash Drive on KFM 94.5. Heritage items from Clix.
- 8:57Speaker 1: What are they?
- 8:58Speaker 3: It's all about that winning feeling.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Because you could be winning 2,500 grand.
- 9:04Speaker 8: 2,500 grand.
- 9:06Speaker 3: In Clix Club Card Cash Bag. So you can feel.
- 9:10Speaker 8: Good and pay less.
- 9:11Speaker 3: On KFM 94.5.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So the homework this week, so to speak, is to
- 9:16Speaker 1: go through clicks and find those items that just make
- 9:18Speaker 1: you make you go back to like your heritage. You know,
- 9:21Speaker 1: maybe your grandparents gave you some items. It could also
- 9:24Speaker 1: be these appliances or maybe it is or even those
- 9:27Speaker 1: bath items as well. Doesn't only have to be things
- 9:30Speaker 1: that are pretty much consumable or those medications. Just, you know,
- 9:33Speaker 1: think outside the box. Clicks are so many of these
- 9:36Speaker 1: items and a lot of them have stood the test
- 9:38Speaker 1: of time. Nashina, hello. Hi, Cole.
- 9:41Speaker 9: How are you?
- 9:41Speaker 2: Phenoms.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Phenoms. Feeling healthy? Great. Feeling well? Feeling good?
- 9:47Speaker 7: All healthy, all good, alive, awake, alert, enthusiastic.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I'm sorry, that sounds familiar.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Do you and Cassidy know each other? You guys are friends?
- 9:59Speaker 1: What's that? happening?
- 10:01Speaker 7: Maybe we worked for the same place where you had
- 10:04Speaker 7: to do the whole thing with your arms and be awake.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Did you learn that from an office space, Nishina?
- 10:11Speaker 7: I did, yes. We used to sing it as like
- 10:14Speaker 7: a motivational song to wake you up.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Now I want to hear the song.
- 10:20Speaker 7: Awake Alive Alert Enthusiastic. Then you clap your hands. Awake
- 10:25Speaker 7: Alive Alert Enthusiastic.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Awake Alive Alert Enthusiastic.
- 10:34Speaker 7: Awake Alive Alert Enthusiastic.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Clap, clap. Now, give us a raise for doing this.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Clap your hands. Give us a raise for doing this.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Clap your hands. Give us more leave days and give
- 10:47Speaker 1: us more praise. Give us more leave days. Clap your hands.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you. Oh, now we're there. Now you
- 10:55Speaker 1: need to tell me the heritage products from Clix. What
- 10:58Speaker 1: are they for you?
- 11:00Speaker 7: So for me, they are definitely the Dutch products because
- 11:04Speaker 7: my grandmother used them. My mom used them. My mom
- 11:07Speaker 7: gave it to me. And I used to hate it
- 11:09Speaker 7: because they taste disgusting. But I now give it to
- 11:13Speaker 7: my children. So the one that I use the most
- 11:17Speaker 7: is the Vistach triple. That's for the tummy.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Just give me, just give me, sorry, excuse me. Continue. Yes,
- 11:25Speaker 1: what else do you give them?
- 11:27Speaker 7: Yeah, so that's for the tummies. And the other one
- 11:30Speaker 7: is the Boris triples because, you know, in winter, the
- 11:32Speaker 7: kids always have coughs and it seems to be one
- 11:35Speaker 7: of the things that has always worked. So I definitely
- 11:38Speaker 7: use that all the time.
- 11:39Speaker 1: How about Leeuwen's Essence? How about roilofentil? Have you used that?
- 11:46Speaker 7: Roilofentil? Yes, definitely that one. So many disgusting stuff. Did
- 11:51Speaker 7: you ever notice all the yuck stuff is actually the
- 11:54Speaker 7: things that work the best?
- 11:55Speaker 1: No, I agree. I agree 100%. I was telling Cassidy
- 11:57Speaker 1: yesterday that I believe that the reason why we were
- 12:00Speaker 1: so fit and healthy back in the day is because
- 12:02Speaker 1: we didn't want to take that medication. So even at
- 12:04Speaker 1: the onset of any flu, we wouldn't tell anybody about it.
- 12:07Speaker 1: We'd get over it in our own room so that
- 12:09Speaker 1: you wouldn't reveal to your mom like, I'm sick. Because
- 12:13Speaker 1: you know that stuff comes out and that yellow of
- 12:16Speaker 1: the box and the red writing and the Lennon products
- 12:18Speaker 1: and you were like, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm fine. I'm actually fine. No, Carl, but you sound
- 12:22Speaker 1: like you have a chest. Because you know that's how
- 12:24Speaker 1: we describe that we have something. Hey, are you all right?
- 12:27Speaker 1: Do I have a tummy? Do I have a chest? So, wow. No,
- 12:32Speaker 1: I would deny it. I'd be like, I'm fine.
- 12:35Speaker 7: Instantly healthy.
- 12:38Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 1: But, you know, I like the new medication. You know
- 12:41Speaker 1: what the new medication we have? Have you ever heard
- 12:43Speaker 1: about the all-new cashback? It's two and a half thousand rand.
- 12:46Speaker 1: It cures everything. And it's all yours.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Oh, yes, I have. Yes.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Cole.
- 12:51Speaker 7: You're welcome.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Thank you. And this one tastes lecker. Don't worry about it.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's a cashback. It's good. Oh, no.
- 12:56Speaker 7: I'm sure it's going to taste delicious.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yes, it will be. And you know what? Just to
- 12:59Speaker 1: wrap it up, a live awake alert.
- 13:02Speaker 7: Clap your hands. Yes.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yep. Yep. Oh, this is great. You know what? I
- 13:08Speaker 1: think more companies need to have a corporate chant, man.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 1: To wake all the people up in the office.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Yes.
- 13:15Speaker 2: That's why I'm always like, how are you feeling? Live, awake, alert, enthusiastic.
- 13:18Speaker 1: But we need to have a song, man. You know
- 13:19Speaker 1: what I'm saying? That'll wake you up.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 1: You know, something that'll be relevant to what you're about
- 13:23Speaker 1: to do. You know, something really cool. Like, just ready.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Underpaid and ready to throw shade. Underpaid and ready to
- 13:34Speaker 1: throw shade. Underpaid and ready to throw shade.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Jodie's making a song, As We Speak.
- 13:40Speaker 1: That's it. It'll be so cool. It'll be so nice.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Work until five so we can survive. Wish we could thrive,
- 13:47Speaker 1: but at least we're alive. You know, like a nice
- 13:50Speaker 1: song like that.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm into it.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Speaks to the beautiful culture of your company. You know
- 13:54Speaker 1: what I mean? I know it's not funny, but I
- 13:57Speaker 1: deserve more money. Yeah. That's it.
- 14:00Speaker 4: There should definitely be something about, you know, for family.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Here as well.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Yep. So we'll work on that.
- 14:05Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:06Speaker 1: In the interim, find these amazing Alive Awake Alert and
- 14:10Speaker 1: enthusiastic savings. It clicks till 22 September. Huggies Gold Skin

- 14:34Speaker 1: Clix feel good. Pay less.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Pop.
- 14:38Speaker 1: It's all I wanted, Faker Streets and Anika Kiana. So
- 14:40Speaker 1: as I was saying to Cassidy before those two tracks,
- 14:42Speaker 1: including Miguel's Dawn, is that while I was working, I
- 14:45Speaker 1: was working for you. It's a flash drive, KFM 94.5.
- 14:48Speaker 1: My questions to her were quite simple. Apparently she didn't
- 14:51Speaker 1: hear them because she was in the midst of admin.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But I said, I said to you, I would like
- 15:00Speaker 1: to know, right, what does Baltimore and Springboks All Blacks
- 15:04Speaker 1: game have anything to do with me? Like, what's the connection?
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And the other one was Singapore paying people to do this.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And that's what I asked you. All that back then,
- 15:13Speaker 1: about 10 minutes ago. You weren't able to answer because
- 15:16Speaker 1: you were busy with admin. Yes. Of course. Yeah. Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Happens to the best of us.
- 15:22Speaker 1: So any takers? Okay, the truth is, you know what,
- 15:25Speaker 1: if you want the truth, this woman out of nowhere,
- 15:27Speaker 1: I'm about to tell her what stories I have, right,
- 15:29Speaker 1: that I've worked on so hard. She looks at me
- 15:32Speaker 1: and her face is maroon. I'm like, what's going on?
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to hold in my cough. And she starts
- 15:37Speaker 1: a coughing foot that goes on for about, well, until now.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I'm not even sure if she's out of it yet.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I think I am.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And so that's why I was kind of talking to
- 15:44Speaker 1: myself earlier when I'm like, hey, Cassidy. And then nothing.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Her mic was off because she was in the other
- 15:49Speaker 1: room coughing her lung out. Are you all right now?
- 15:51Speaker 2: I'm okay.
- 15:52Speaker 4: You know, we have this space that we work in
- 15:54Speaker 4: and every now and again, there's just like a piece
- 15:56Speaker 4: of dust that like finds its way to the back
- 15:59Speaker 4: of your throat.
- 16:00Speaker 3: And you're just like, oh, okay. This is what I'm
- 16:02Speaker 3: doing for the next two minutes.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Are you okay?
- 16:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You sure?
- 16:08Speaker 3: We play it by ear.
- 16:09Speaker 1: All right. So, Baltimore, All Blacks, Springboks. What does that
- 16:14Speaker 1: have to do with me? It's a strange connection. Yeah.
- 16:17Speaker 1: But it's relevant as well. Because they spotted a South
- 16:22Speaker 1: African city golf.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Stop.
- 16:25Speaker 1: In Baltimore. I was so proud of this story. I
- 16:28Speaker 1: was so proud. Just in time for the Springboks' clash
- 16:31Speaker 1: with the All Blacks, the iconic little hatchback was spotted
- 16:33Speaker 1: sporting South African number plates. Springbok memorabilia and plenty of
- 16:39Speaker 1: green and gold. The car was brought to Baltimore by
- 16:41Speaker 1: City Vibes, proving that when South Africans travel, we apparently
- 16:44Speaker 1: don't just pack the boltong on Bach jersey. We take
- 16:47Speaker 1: our golfies.
- 16:48Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 16:50Speaker 1: That's a shout out to my Mark 1 owners. Hello.
- 16:53Speaker 1: It was a Chico. It was so cool. So I
- 16:56Speaker 1: just thought I'd share that with you.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Then, Singapore. They're paying people to do this. Any takers?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Any guesses from your side?
- 17:05Speaker 3: Pick up a letter?
- 17:06Speaker 1: That would be a good one.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Although that's the civil responsibility. We should do that anyway, right?
- 17:11Speaker 4: I know, but you know how Singapore's got that thing
- 17:13Speaker 4: where everything is illegal, like you can't spit in the streets,
- 17:16Speaker 4: public urination, all that.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Well, you know, with all of those restrictions and those
- 17:22Speaker 1: civil rules and regulations, people have gotten to something as
- 17:27Speaker 1: almost a pandemic level in Singapore, and that is doom scrolling.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Singapore's social media usage is through the roof. Apparently people
- 17:37Speaker 1: are bored in Singapore and all they're doing is they're
- 17:40Speaker 1: feeding off social media. They're scrolling themselves to a point
- 17:43Speaker 1: where the government has decided to intervene.
- 17:46Speaker 3: I hope that type of life never finds me.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Singapore are paying people to read a book. What? Yeah,
- 17:52Speaker 1: the country has launched a five-year reading campaign encouraging people
- 17:56Speaker 1: to read for at least 15 minutes a day and
- 17:58Speaker 1: I couldn't be happier at this innovation. So 50 days
- 18:04Speaker 1: of reading earns you just one singaporean dollar about 13
- 18:08Speaker 1: rand still the national library board says the bigger goal
- 18:12Speaker 1: is to rebuild attention spans amen critical thinking yes please
- 18:17Speaker 1: and a love of reading in a world increasingly dominated
- 18:20Speaker 1: by short form content think about it how many people
- 18:25Speaker 1: know how to spell.
- 18:27Speaker 3: I'm not one of those people.
- 18:28Speaker 1: But it's because we have dictionary apps. We have things
- 18:32Speaker 1: that are very quick. We have autocorrect literally in our
- 18:34Speaker 1: text package. So even when you search on Google, you
- 18:38Speaker 1: don't really need to know how to spell anything. You
- 18:40Speaker 1: just kind of type in the closest thing and then
- 18:42Speaker 1: Google suggests what you actually meant. So there's not real
- 18:46Speaker 1: critical thinking and the depth of thought is lacking. We're
- 18:50Speaker 1: losing it. So they're encouraging people to read.
- 18:53Speaker 3: I like that.
- 18:54Speaker 1: So what are you reading right now?
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yesteryear.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Very, very, very good. Do you know about Yesteryear? Yes,
- 19:01Speaker 1: I've heard very good things about Yesteryear.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I finished a book that Beatrice's hubby suggested in
- 19:07Speaker 4: like a day.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Very, very good.
- 19:08Speaker 3: So now I'm on to Yesteryear.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Very good stuff. I love that.
- 19:11Speaker 3: What are you reading?
- 19:12Speaker 1: You know I'm a self-help psychology guy. Oh, yeah, this guy.
- 19:16Speaker 1: So there's a little book, and it's quite little, but
- 19:18Speaker 1: I love the case studies. So that's why... There's this
- 19:22Speaker 1: book called One Plus One Equals Three that I suggested before.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And I love that format because it's very quick nuggets,
- 19:26Speaker 1: but it's rich with real stories about how people think differently.
- 19:31Speaker 1: And this book is called Damn Good Advice for People
- 19:34Speaker 1: with Talent. And it's by George Louis. And it shows
- 19:38Speaker 1: you different stories as to how you should interact in
- 19:41Speaker 1: a world where a lot of people are threatened by talent.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yes, they are.
- 19:46Speaker 1: People are threatened by innovation. They're threatened by creativity. But
- 19:50Speaker 1: there is still a way to get that out there
- 19:53Speaker 1: without actually confronting or being in the way of those
- 19:57Speaker 1: people who would like to diminish creativity because they have
- 20:00Speaker 1: none of their own. So it's been fun reading through
- 20:04Speaker 1: case studies and the way ad agencies have thought and
- 20:07Speaker 1: the way George Louis himself approached these boards of these
- 20:11Speaker 1: large airlines. And they're like, we should go this way
- 20:13Speaker 1: because our consumer wants this. And he had to change
- 20:16Speaker 1: their mind and say, hold on, your consumer is reaching
- 20:20Speaker 1: out for something new. Why don't you give that to them?
- 20:23Speaker 1: Offer that to them and stop being so worried about
- 20:26Speaker 1: what if they don't like it? What if the plan
- 20:28Speaker 1: doesn't work? What if this doesn't go through? What if
- 20:31Speaker 1: this tanks? No one's thinking about what if it works.
- 20:35Speaker 1: And I think that's what he's going for there. Anyway,
- 20:36Speaker 1: I'm loving it. And it's very quick to read. Like
- 20:39Speaker 1: you can go back to a couple of stories and
- 20:40Speaker 1: refresh yourself. It's very, very awesome. But I loved hearing
- 20:43Speaker 1: about Singapore's innovation. And I loved hearing that a golfie
- 20:46Speaker 1: made it to Baltimore. That's what I wanted to share
- 20:48Speaker 1: with you today.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Thank you for working so hard. Trust me and I
- 20:53Speaker 1: promise you I'll continue working as hard as I can
- 20:55Speaker 1: for you. Now picture this. You're out with a friend
- 20:57Speaker 1: and a phone gets swiped right out of her hand.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Not covered. And you, though, you've been sorted for a while.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Claim free with Suntime and that is paying off for you.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Suntime Cashback gives you 10% back when you go three
- 21:07Speaker 1: years without claiming and every year after that. Teas and
- 21:09Speaker 1: sees do apply. Nothing happening is worth something. So call
- 21:12Speaker 1: 0860 444 444 or get covered online. Suntime, this is free.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Sienna Spyro, it's Material Lover from the soundtrack of Devil
- 21:24Speaker 1: Wears Prada 2. I'm Carl, this is Cassidy. We were
- 21:26Speaker 1: just chatting about the things that you're willing to let
- 21:28Speaker 1: slide for love. Often we talk about the red flags,
- 21:31Speaker 1: the deal breakers, but now sometimes you sit with some
- 21:34Speaker 1: of the things and you're like, ah, it's fine. He snores.
- 21:37Speaker 1: He doesn't have rhythm. In fact, somebody earlier said that,
- 21:40Speaker 1: that they don't care that the person doesn't have rhythm.
- 21:44Speaker 1: It's fine. It's not a big thing for them. I
- 21:47Speaker 1: also got this in reply to that.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I have to agree with the lady about the rhythm.
- 21:52Speaker 4: I'm married 16 years and the one thing I let
- 21:54Speaker 4: slide is the fact that my husband dances next to
- 21:56Speaker 4: the beat.
- 21:59Speaker 1: As long as he's dancing next to you, baby. You
- 22:01Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? That's fine.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I can't skip over that. That was a bar.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Dancing next to the beat. Next to the beat. Yeah.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Come on. It happens. Sometimes your body takes over. Here's
- 22:13Speaker 1: another one.
- 22:19Speaker 7: I let it slide for love, putting tomato sauce on
- 22:24Speaker 7: a very well-cooked piece of steak.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Not well done, well cooked.
- 22:33Speaker 1: To each their own. To each their own.
- 22:36Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Let them do their thing. It's fine. Hey, we've got
- 22:40Speaker 1: Anonymous on the line. Hello, Anonymous.
- 22:43Speaker 9: Hi, Paul. Hi, Cassidy.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Hello.
- 22:46Speaker 1: So what are you willing to let slide for love?
- 22:50Speaker 8: So my husband, bless him, every morning when we make
- 22:54Speaker 8: the bed, the pants have to come off.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Excuse me?
- 22:59Speaker 3: Hello?
- 23:00Speaker 2: Why?
- 23:03Speaker 1: I thought you said the pants has to come off.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Whose pants?
- 23:07Speaker 8: His pants have to come off.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Hold on. So are you saying that he was in PJs,
- 23:13Speaker 1: but then his ritual in making the bed is to
- 23:16Speaker 1: take the PJs off or whatever he was wearing off
- 23:19Speaker 1: and then just let... Yes.
- 23:22Speaker 8: Yep, so PJs, if it's in the summer, it's just
- 23:25Speaker 8: the boxes. In the wintertime, he has like a set on.
- 23:28Speaker 8: The shirt stays on. The pants have to come off.
- 23:31Speaker 1: So he needs to... Oh, Winnie the Pooh. Winnie the
- 23:35Speaker 1: Pooh knuckles. Sorry, that's a private joke from Cassidy. She'll
- 23:41Speaker 1: have to qualify that in another show. I love this
- 23:46Speaker 1: for you.
- 23:46Speaker 7: I'm so happy about it.
- 23:49Speaker 1: And it's fine. I'm sorry to probe this, but what
- 23:54Speaker 1: is it about it? Have you asked him? Have you
- 23:55Speaker 1: questioned him about why is it? Has he ever given
- 23:58Speaker 1: you a proper reason?
- 24:00Speaker 8: He only started doing this like a year and a
- 24:02Speaker 8: half ago out of nowhere. And I remember in the beginning,
- 24:05Speaker 8: I'd be like, can he, why is this happening? And he,
- 24:09Speaker 8: it's like he gets the zoomies, like he gets so
- 24:11Speaker 8: excited every morning he gets to take his parents off
- 24:14Speaker 8: while we make the bed. So after a while, I
- 24:17Speaker 8: was like, it's fine. It brings him joy. I'm not
- 24:20Speaker 8: going to question it anymore. I don't have time. He
- 24:22Speaker 8: never gives me a straight answer, but it makes him so,
- 24:25Speaker 8: so happy.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Do you have Egyptian cotton bedding? I'm trying to find
- 24:29Speaker 1: out what is it. Maybe there's a certain tactility about it.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You know, as the bed gets made, it could be,
- 24:35Speaker 1: Maybe something that's touching.
- 24:39Speaker 9: I think it's just him.
- 24:40Speaker 8: I don't know. Honestly, in the beginning, I thought he
- 24:42Speaker 8: was just doing it to annoy me. But even when
- 24:44Speaker 8: I let it slide, he kept doing it. So I
- 24:47Speaker 8: think it genuinely brings him joy.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I'll OVE. And you let it slide. Beautiful. Anonymous, thank
- 24:52Speaker 1: you for sharing. Clearly, D is for duvet. Anonymous number two.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Hi.
- 24:56Speaker 9: Hi, Carl. Hi, Cassidy.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Hello. What are you willing to let slide? Why are
- 25:03Speaker 1: you laughing?
- 25:04Speaker 9: Because I'm so nervous.
- 25:08Speaker 1: You're making me laugh. Wait, okay. Anonymous number two.
- 25:12Speaker 2: All right, let's go.
- 25:13Speaker 7: Let's go.
- 25:14Speaker 1: What are you willing to let slide for love?
- 25:17Speaker 9: I'm willing to let slide height difference call.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Tell me more.
- 25:24Speaker 9: I'm a very tall girl. And it's always been a
- 25:32Speaker 9: thing for me. I'm sure the person that's listening is
- 25:35Speaker 9: cracking himself right now. But, so yeah, I last saw
- 25:41Speaker 9: him high school days and I'm finally going on a
- 25:43Speaker 9: date with him on Friday. And we were worried about
- 25:47Speaker 9: the height difference. But I just wanted to let him
- 25:51Speaker 9: know that that's something I'm willing to compromise on.
- 25:54Speaker 1: It's not even a compromise. Yeah. I'm just saying.
- 25:58Speaker 9: It's something to let go.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, just... This is my field of expertise,
- 26:02Speaker 1: anonymous number two. Allow me to just broach this with you.
- 26:06Speaker 1: If he asks you to go and sit down, he's
- 26:09Speaker 1: going to kiss you. I just want to let you know.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Or if he wants to tell you a secret.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it. Because the thing is, obviously, with just
- 26:16Speaker 1: standing upright, it's going to be very difficult to get
- 26:18Speaker 1: to your lips. So I found that my best strategy
- 26:21Speaker 1: in high school was I used to ask people to
- 26:23Speaker 1: go sit down. And then that way they'd sit alongside me.
- 26:27Speaker 1: And it'd be very easy because, you know, like the torso,
- 26:29Speaker 1: it's interesting how a torso is quite average for many people.
- 26:33Speaker 1: So you guys sit down with this person and you
- 26:35Speaker 1: can have a kiss without anybody tippy-toeing. So that's one
- 26:40Speaker 1: little thing that's going to happen. And just remember that
- 26:43Speaker 1: these short gentlemen, all right, I'm not going to call
- 26:45Speaker 1: them short kings. I don't like that reference. But these
- 26:48Speaker 1: individuals who are abbreviated are actually concentrated because they have
- 26:52Speaker 1: a lot to give.
- 26:55Speaker 9: Of course, and he already has so much to offer.
- 26:57Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 26:58Speaker 9: That's why I'm willing to let it slide.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I love it.
- 27:01Speaker 9: I'm sure even, and if he is tall, because that's
- 27:05Speaker 9: still something we should establish, but judging by our conversations,
- 27:09Speaker 9: I might be just a little bit taller than him.
- 27:12Speaker 9: But even if he is, or even if he isn't tall, wait,
- 27:17Speaker 9: I'm losing my words.
- 27:17Speaker 1: That's fine, but I know what you mean.
- 27:19Speaker 6: If he is tall, it's a bonus.
- 27:20Speaker 9: If not, I'm willing.
- 27:22Speaker 1: He makes up in other areas. Excuse me? Sorry. What?
- 27:29Speaker 3: He's perfect.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Oh, in other areas. Sorry, I didn't know what she
- 27:34Speaker 1: meant there. I'm just saying that life has a way
- 27:36Speaker 1: of balancing things out. Anonymous number two.
- 27:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Thank you for agreeing.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Oh, this has.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Been a great conversation. Thank you. On behalf of all
- 27:47Speaker 1: abbreviated individuals, especially men who are, shame, often left aside
- 27:51Speaker 1: because there's always this thought about, oh, it's got to
- 27:54Speaker 1: be taller than me. I'm sorry. You're missing out because
- 27:57Speaker 1: finally you get a man who's willing to tippy toe
- 27:59Speaker 1: for you, my dear lady. Think about that for a second.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I can't wait for your date. Please let me know
- 28:04Speaker 1: how it goes. Please tell me how it goes. It'll
- 28:07Speaker 1: be wonderful. You're going to have the best time. Trust me.
- 28:10Speaker 1: It's a short guy. I would know.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I think the perfect man is 5'7.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Sorry?
- 28:15Speaker 3: I think the perfect man is 5'7.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Give me an African metric quickly.
- 28:19Speaker 2: About 1.75. About 1.55.
- 28:20Speaker 1: All right.
- 28:21Speaker 3: About a 1.55.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Okay? If you want to leave 1.75, even 1.65.
- 28:24Speaker 2: 1.55.
- 28:24Speaker 1: All right? I'm just letting you know. Think about this.
- 28:28Speaker 1: You stopped growing when you were perfect, Carl. Not even that.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm just saying that if you have a large cocktail
- 28:42Speaker 1: in a club, all right, you sip this thing whole
- 28:45Speaker 1: time and it has zero effect. One small shooter and
- 28:49Speaker 1: things get a lot more fun. I'm just letting you
- 28:51Speaker 1: know the differences, how nature has allowed these things to
- 28:56Speaker 1: be in front of you. Yes. And you haven't paid
- 28:58Speaker 1: attention to them.
- 28:59Speaker 10: Valid.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Just think about it. Everything that is a little smaller
- 29:03Speaker 1: has the biggest impact. A virus, for instance. Microscopic. Huge impact.
- 29:09Speaker 1: So for those who think, oh, it's all about the
- 29:13Speaker 1: individual's height, I'm sorry, you're missing out on some of
- 29:16Speaker 1: the treasures that humanity has to offer you.
- 29:20Speaker 7: Right.
- 29:20Speaker 1: All right. And also, I would also like to rebut
- 29:24Speaker 1: as well. You know those people that say, oh, dynamite
- 29:27Speaker 1: comes in small packages? No one said our package is small.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Here's Tyler. So Denzel dropped out, which means Lorinda, you
- 29:43Speaker 1: are next in line to take, give it a shot.
- 29:45Speaker 1: This is very exciting. Unexpected. I know, but there's up
- 29:47Speaker 1: to 5,000. So Lorinda unmasked the hits. What did you hear?
- 29:52Speaker 8: So Miley Cyrus party in the USA, um, Adele, Easy
- 29:59Speaker 8: On Me, Backstreet Boys.
- 30:02Speaker 7: I won it that way. And Mendoza.
- 30:06Speaker 8: I don't know really how to say the.
- 30:08Speaker 7: Name, but Calacatta.
- 30:11Speaker 1: That is.
- 30:12Speaker 7: And I didn't hear the first one.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Also, you said it so beautifully, by the way, in Calacatta.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Don't doubt yourself. Don't ever doubt yourself. You just won
- 30:20Speaker 1: 4,000 rand with Andalix. Yes!
- 30:25Speaker 2: This is crazy.
- 30:26Speaker 1: It is crazy, but you've won it. Well done. You've
- 30:30Speaker 1: unmasked four of the five hits. You just missed out.
- 30:35Speaker 1: You just missed out on Craig David, Seven Days. There
- 30:39Speaker 1: was a back.
- 30:40Speaker 7: I heard it just before the Adele song, but I couldn't... You.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Can unmask it with the name. It's fine. You were
- 30:47Speaker 1: about to say something. Is this your first time winning?
- 30:50Speaker 8: Yes, actually, I've never really won something, and I liked
- 30:53Speaker 8: I write in for your competition so much. Actually, I
- 30:56Speaker 8: was on the concept.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yes, yes.
- 31:00Speaker 7: I was on the concept.
- 31:02Speaker 9: I didn't guess right.
- 31:03Speaker 8: So now I'm born and it's amazing.
- 31:06Speaker 1: 4,000 Rand. How's that for a win?
- 31:08Speaker 3: Flashy, flashy.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I like it. Thank you, Lorinda. I love your energy
- 31:11Speaker 1: and your spirit. And thank you for being available. I
- 31:14Speaker 1: know it is a very quick call to you, but,
- 31:16Speaker 1: you know, some things are just meant to be. 4,000 Rand,
- 31:18Speaker 1: all yours. Well done. And correctly guessed. Miley Cyrus, part
- 31:21Speaker 1: of the USA Backstreet Boys. I want it that way.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Mendoza and Galagata. Craig David, seven days is the one
- 31:27Speaker 1: that you missed out on. And Adele, easy on me. Hopefully,
- 31:30Speaker 1: the traffic is taking it easy on you. Stand by
- 31:34Speaker 1: for the show that drives the big interviews. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Please welcome to the Flash Drive at KF94. 5. Craig David.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Carl Burrow.
- 31:41Speaker 5: What's good?
- 31:43Speaker 3: Drives the most music.
- 31:45Speaker 1: And the most fun.
- 31:46Speaker 6: The show that drives you home.
- 31:53Speaker 1: There are some things you are willing to let slide
- 31:55Speaker 1: because you love someone.
- 31:56Speaker 3: One is when my husband clears his throat. Like, if
- 32:00Speaker 3: you know, you know. You know that sound from the
- 32:02Speaker 3: back of your throat?
- 32:03Speaker 5: Like your tongue.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Oh, it's annoying.
- 32:05Speaker 1: And then it's rhythmically.
- 32:06Speaker 3: It's a.
- 32:08Speaker 1: That sounds like the beginning of that Timberland song.
- 32:17Speaker 2: With Carl Wastey. You did that. You did that, sir.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I forgot. You know, when we move so fast, I
- 32:28Speaker 1: forget what we do. I'm sweating now. Oh, Jodie West.
- 32:32Speaker 1: You were in my mind. Right. Welcome to your show.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I need to make a call. We forgot to make
- 32:37Speaker 1: a call before. Let's make one now and decide which
- 32:40Speaker 1: song plays next. Well, it's not us.
- 32:41Speaker 9: It's you.
- 32:48Speaker 5: Oh, hi.
- 32:53Speaker 4: How are you?
- 32:55Speaker 1: Ooh. Do you answer all of the calls that you
- 32:58Speaker 1: receive this way? This is wonderful. Hello.
- 33:00Speaker 9: I do.
- 33:01Speaker 2: I do.
- 33:04Speaker 1: This sounds wonderful. What is your name, ma'am? Zachra, what
- 33:10Speaker 1: a privilege to get your energy. I want to call
- 33:12Speaker 1: you back just to get that same energy. That's great.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I won't now, don't worry. I need your help, Zachra,
- 33:19Speaker 1: because we're live on the flash drive and we don't
- 33:21Speaker 1: know which song plays next and you're going to get
- 33:23Speaker 1: to decide that because you are the judge of the
- 33:25Speaker 1: call today. Beatrice is going to pitch you. Cassidy is
- 33:28Speaker 1: going to pitch you. I'm going to pitch you and
- 33:29Speaker 1: you're going to see which one we're going to go with. So,
- 33:32Speaker 1: ladies first. Cassidy.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 33:34Speaker 4: Well, that was such a lecker way to answer the phone.
- 33:36Speaker 4: So I feel like this song feels like the way
- 33:39Speaker 4: you answered the phone.
- 33:40Speaker 3: It's Lola's Theme by The Shapeshifters.
- 33:51Speaker 1: That's option number one, Zachra. And then you have Pietras' option,
- 33:54Speaker 1: which is?
- 33:55Speaker 10: So mine is Jamie Miller, Baby Doll. It was released
- 33:59Speaker 10: in August and it's already got more than 10 million million.
- 34:02Speaker 5: Streams on Spotify.
- 34:05Speaker 1: So it's more streams than the Boerland. It's beautiful out there.
- 34:14Speaker 1: You must go check it out. And then there's my
- 34:17Speaker 1: song because I won yesterday, Zachra. Okay. I won.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I know.
- 34:21Speaker 1: And I get a fresh song. So I chose.
- 34:24Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 34:24Speaker 1: And thank you. You're amazing. So there was a group
- 34:27Speaker 1: back in the day called Funky Green Dogs and they
- 34:29Speaker 1: brought a song called Fired Up and it was just,
- 34:32Speaker 1: it just vanna last in my head and I had
- 34:34Speaker 1: to play it. It makes you want to Apache. Old
- 34:45Speaker 1: school dance moves, don't worry about it. Okay, Zaha, you
- 34:48Speaker 1: get to decide. Jamie Miller's Baby Doll, Shape Shifter's Lotus Theme,
- 34:51Speaker 1: Fired Up by the Funky Green Dogs. Which one plays next?
- 34:54Speaker 8: Nicole, I'm not saying that. Cassidy, you're my favorite on
- 34:58Speaker 8: the show, but I have to go with Nicole.
- 35:02Speaker 1: You know what? Can we just pause there?
- 35:04Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I want to pause there. Who's the real winner of
- 35:06Speaker 1: the call today? Zaka literally said that you are the
- 35:09Speaker 1: favorite on the show and this is the best that
- 35:11Speaker 1: I've ever heard.
- 35:11Speaker 2: I feel like I won the call.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 35:13Speaker 2: You can just play your song.
- 35:13Speaker 10: She sounded super excited when she answered the phone, saw you,
- 35:16Speaker 10: so I'm the least favorite.
- 35:17Speaker 5: I'm going to go.
- 35:18Speaker 1: No, no, don't worry, man. It's fine. It's always tomorrow.
- 35:20Speaker 1: We love you. Sahra, thank you so much. My song
- 35:22Speaker 1: plays next. This is very exciting.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Nice.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Thank you very much for picking my song. This is
- 35:27Speaker 1: such a vibe though. Funky Green Dogs fired up. I
- 35:30Speaker 1: hope that you are fired up as well for a
- 35:32Speaker 1: chance to win a dishwasher. That's right. A DeFi dishwasher
- 35:35Speaker 1: and finished products. WhatsApp DeFi, D-E-F-Y to 082-945-0940. Follow the

- 36:14Speaker 1: but it was this week with DeFi and finished products.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I'll give you a chance to win those a little
- 36:18Speaker 1: bit later, but I do need to get you off

- 38:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:10Speaker 8: Prove it on the FlashWord. Powered by Finnish and DeFi
- 38:13Speaker 8: on KFM 94.5.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Lynn, you are still in the running to win my

- 38:37Speaker 1: Hi, Cassidy. You well today, sir?
- 38:39Speaker 2: Hi.
- 38:40Speaker 1: You ready?
- 38:41Speaker 7: Well, thanks, but nervous.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Thank you. Don't be nervous, my friend. Just feel it.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Feel the energy. And a dishwasher could be coming to
- 38:49Speaker 1: you quite soon. And not just anyone, a DeFi dishwasher
- 38:52Speaker 1: with some finished products to boot, which is always so good. Lynn,
- 38:56Speaker 1: do you want to go first or second?
- 38:58Speaker 7: No, let's go first again.
- 38:59Speaker 1: You want to go first? Perfect.
- 39:01Speaker 10: All right.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Guess what today's flash word is.
- 39:05Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 39:06Speaker 1: It's D again.
- 39:08Speaker 4: What?
- 39:09Speaker 1: How could I do it? How could I repeat a
- 39:11Speaker 1: flash word? It's a travesty. No, it's strategy. So, D-E, D-E-E, D-E-A, D-A-E, D-Y, D-I-E.
- 39:20Speaker 1: You know how it goes. D. Lock it in. You ready? Okay,
- 39:25Speaker 1: let's go. All right. Good luck to you. 30 seconds
- 39:27Speaker 1: on the clock and your time begins in three, two. 1.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Your flash word is D. Let's go. A South African
- 39:34Speaker 1: Grammy-winning male choral group. No. A song from the movie
- 39:41Speaker 1: Moulin Rouge. Marmalade.
- 39:47Speaker 7: Oh, I don't know. Let's go, let's go.
- 39:49Speaker 1: The singer Stephanie Germanotta.
- 39:54Speaker 9: Lady Gaga.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Body smell suppressant products. Deodorant. A nickname for Khyberha. Time.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Two out of five. South African Grammy winning choral group
- 40:09Speaker 1: Lady Smith. Black Mambaz.
- 40:11Speaker 7: Oh, Lady Smith.
- 40:13Speaker 1: A song from the movie Moulin Rouge. Lady... Marmalade. The singer,
- 40:19Speaker 1: Stephanie Germanotta, spot on there with Lady Gaga. Body, smell,
- 40:23Speaker 1: suppressant products, deodorant. And nickname for Khyberha, the windy city.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Nice one. Nice one. Shay.
- 40:35Speaker 5: Yes, Scott.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Let's do it. Five questions, 30 seconds, one little word
- 40:38Speaker 1: and all the required answers. It's D. Your time begins
- 40:40Speaker 1: in three, two, one. Let's go. The KFM Drive show's
- 40:45Speaker 1: traffic presenter, Pass To revise for a test Pass A
- 40:57Speaker 1: natural breakdown of matter Decomposition A little black and red
- 41:03Speaker 1: beetle Ladybird A US TV game show where questions are
- 41:09Speaker 1: answers Pass Time is up Oh my word Now, I
- 41:18Speaker 1: don't want you to.
- 41:20Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Can I step away here?
- 41:23Speaker 3: I would appreciate it.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I'm going to be in the back here.
- 41:25Speaker 4: So my government name is Cassidy, and I do the
- 41:28Speaker 4: traffic on the drive show.
- 41:31Speaker 3: But it's okay. You know what?
- 41:33Speaker 4: I got my compliment from Zahra earlier on from the call.
- 41:36Speaker 3: So I deserve this, right? I deserve this. It's okay.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I'm just going to step out the room. I think
- 41:43Speaker 3: I need to take a breather.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Oh, she's literally leaving. Yo, dude, I'm so sorry. Hold on,
- 41:50Speaker 1: did both of you get two now? Oh.
- 41:59Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 42:00Speaker 1: But first, I need to give some answers away here
- 42:01Speaker 1: for you. All right, so Cassidy, natural breakdown of matter. Yes,
- 42:06Speaker 1: you know, there we go. Decomposition, decomposing, to revise for
- 42:10Speaker 1: a tested study. Little black and red beetle, ladybug, ladybird
- 42:14Speaker 1: also works at US TV game show where questions are
- 42:17Speaker 1: answers jeopardy. So we go to a tiebreaker. One last question.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Good luck to both of you. This is how it works, Shay.
- 42:24Speaker 1: You need to say your name first and then the answer. Lynn,
- 42:27Speaker 1: you know how this rolls. Get ready for your final
- 42:29Speaker 1: question with a flash word being D. It is as follows.
- 42:34Speaker 1: I'm looking for the name of a large Rio de
- 42:37Speaker 1: Janeiro statue. Any ideas? Anybody at all? And unfortunately, we
- 42:47Speaker 1: have to buzz you out there. Just know. Fine.
- 42:54Speaker 5: Great.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Here's another tiebreaker while we're here because, I mean, this
- 42:58Speaker 1: is what I do. I have to separate you two.
- 43:01Speaker 1: All right. Name first, then answer. I'm looking for the
- 43:06Speaker 1: name of a streaming platform.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Music.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Music. Still nothing. It's white.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Okay.
- 43:17Speaker 7: One more.
- 43:19Speaker 1: The answer there is it's Deezer. That's fine. That's okay.
- 43:28Speaker 1: You know what? You two, you've had your two tiebreakers,
- 43:30Speaker 1: which means I'm going to let you sleep on it. Okay?
- 43:33Speaker 1: I'm going to let you sleep on this. You're going
- 43:34Speaker 1: to think about what you've done here today. So, tomorrow,
- 43:38Speaker 1: we do this again before we get... to see if
- 43:41Speaker 1: Lynn goes through or Shay goes through to win a
- 43:44Speaker 1: dishwasher at the end of the week. The great thing
- 43:46Speaker 1: that you two, you need to know is that whoever wins, great.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Even if you lose, you're still in a draw to
- 43:52Speaker 1: win a dishwasher. So your chances haven't diminished completely. Shay,
- 43:56Speaker 1: thanks for playing. Lynn, champion. Let's do better tomorrow, Lynn. Okay.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Have a great night's sleep.
- 44:03Speaker 5: Enjoy.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Flashwood returns tomorrow's DeFi and Finish. And remember, great hosting

- 44:36Speaker 4: Thanks to Lotto Land on KFM 94.5.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Is this Diona?
- 44:44Speaker 9: Yes, it is.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Hello, Diona. What an honor it is to have you
- 44:48Speaker 1: on the show. And thank you for your love letter
- 44:49Speaker 1: that you sent over to me. I appreciate that. Apparently,
- 44:53Speaker 1: you need a spring break with Lotto Land, I know.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Because silly season's coming. And you know, we're not going
- 44:58Speaker 1: to get another chance, especially when you work in certain fields. Now,
- 45:01Speaker 1: apparently you're a sales rep and you need to strike
- 45:04Speaker 1: while the iron is hot. So while people are feeling
- 45:06Speaker 1: liquor spring, summer, you need to work. But you want
- 45:09Speaker 1: a bit of a break before then. Is that correct?
- 45:11Speaker 1: That's correct, yes. So you work for a company called
- 45:14Speaker 1: Davidson Boards. What do you do there? What's the actual product?
- 45:19Speaker 9: We supply boards and stuff for the cabinet settings. industry
- 45:24Speaker 9: for your kitchens and your bathrooms and stuff like that.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Okay, this is very good. And let's talk about your
- 45:30Speaker 1: boss because I'm going to actually ask your boss for
- 45:32Speaker 1: a day off just for you. So what's your boss's name?
- 45:35Speaker 10: Latosha.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Okay, Latosha. And tell me about Latosha. Is Latosha lovely?
- 45:39Speaker 7: She's a very nice and cool person.
- 45:43Speaker 1: And when I ask Latosha for this day off, are
- 45:45Speaker 1: we thinking maybe the 25th of September so we can
- 45:49Speaker 1: Have a nice long weekend, like the 24th, 25th, and
- 45:51Speaker 1: then the weekend thereafter, after Heritage Day. Is that a
- 45:53Speaker 1: good spot to ask for?
- 45:56Speaker 7: That will be awesome.
- 45:57Speaker 1: I'm going to give it a shot. Latersha, I need
- 45:59Speaker 1: some more details on Latersha. What's Latersha into? Like, does
- 46:02Speaker 1: she have hobbies, favorite shows? Like, what can I use
- 46:05Speaker 1: in this conversation to help things out?
- 46:06Speaker 7: She's a huge rugby fan.
- 46:10Speaker 9: And she likes to play.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:14Speaker 7: Really outgoing person.
- 46:15Speaker 1: This is so good. You've given me all the material
- 46:18Speaker 1: I need. Let's call Latosha for you, Diona. Let's try
- 46:21Speaker 1: to get you a day off. All right. Let's make
- 46:24Speaker 1: that call.
- 46:39Speaker 5: Hello.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Hello, Latosha.
- 46:43Speaker 5: Hi.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Hi, I'm so sorry to bother you after office hours.
- 46:45Speaker 1: My name is Carl Wastey. I'm calling from KFM 94.5.
- 46:47Speaker 7: Oh, Mr.
- 46:48Speaker 9: Wastey, how are you?
- 46:51Speaker 1: Very well, thank you. I'm sorry that I called unannounced
- 46:54Speaker 1: and I didn't give you a chance to, you know,
- 46:57Speaker 1: just say whether or not you were able to take
- 46:58Speaker 1: the call. But I had to because there was a
- 47:00Speaker 1: very important person that has sent me. And it's one
- 47:04Speaker 1: of these employees that you have, one of your top employees,
- 47:08Speaker 1: Deona from Davidson Boards. She messaged me. And she asked
- 47:13Speaker 1: me to do her little favor. But before we get there, LaTosha,
- 47:18Speaker 1: Diona as an employee, such a hard worker, don't you think?
- 47:23Speaker 9: Never heard of her.
- 47:25Speaker 8: No, I'm just kidding.
- 47:31Speaker 2: You're my favorite.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Yeah, never mind the owner, man. You and I need
- 47:39Speaker 1: to have a conversation. So how's Davidson Boards doing? Are
- 47:42Speaker 1: you enjoying the industry as well? Is everything going well?
- 47:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 47:46Speaker 8: Loving the industry very, very much.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Any new trends? Any new trends that people are doing?
- 47:51Speaker 1: I know people like to have a little layer on
- 47:53Speaker 1: top of their cupboards. I mean, you guys do super
- 47:57Speaker 1: wood as well, right?
- 47:58Speaker 8: Yes, yeah, of course.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Okay, great.
- 48:00Speaker 7: Medium density fiberboard.
- 48:01Speaker 9: Yes, yeah, of course.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Yes, that's important.
- 48:04Speaker 7: Wood grains and a white glass. Yeah, I know. All
- 48:07Speaker 7: the trends.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Yeah, the trends are there. You know, I think it's
- 48:10Speaker 1: important to have this conversation as well because a lot
- 48:12Speaker 1: of people doing some renovation ahead of summer, they're going
- 48:14Speaker 1: to entertain a lot. And they should consult Davidson Boards.
- 48:17Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Say like, hey, I want
- 48:19Speaker 1: to give a bit of a zhuzh to my experience.
- 48:22Speaker 1: And I know that there are some... matte finish products
- 48:26Speaker 1: that you may have like i saw this beautiful green
- 48:29Speaker 1: but it was actually.
- 48:29Speaker 4: Like a a very light green yes oh yes super
- 48:34Speaker 4: matte that's the.
- 48:35Speaker 1: One how did you know it off the fly like
- 48:39Speaker 1: that goodness okay we need to talk by the way
- 48:41Speaker 1: we have to talk anyway you know this person that
- 48:44Speaker 1: you don't know about diona now Oh, no, that's not
- 48:49Speaker 1: the one I'm talking about. No, no, I'm talking about
- 48:51Speaker 1: the owner other one. Sorry, man. I'm kidding. I'm joking.
- 48:54Speaker 1: It's the same one. Yes. So the owner is ready
- 48:59Speaker 1: for the new season. But the owner has asked me
- 49:01Speaker 1: to ask you as the boss, if the 25th of September,
- 49:06Speaker 1: she can have a day off to enjoy a long
- 49:08Speaker 1: weekend ahead of the silly season. A lot of people
- 49:10Speaker 1: are renovating. A lot of people are putting new cupboards in.
- 49:13Speaker 1: And a lot of people are going to be calling you.
- 49:15Speaker 1: And she needs a bit of an energy booster to
- 49:17Speaker 1: get her ready for the new season. Are you open?
- 49:19Speaker 1: to having a conversation with the owner and giving her
- 49:21Speaker 1: a day off on the 25th of september just an
- 49:24Speaker 1: ask from my side.
- 49:25Speaker 7: She's got plenty of leave of course she can have off.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Yes exactly exactly thank you who's this the owner person
- 49:33Speaker 1: anyway come on latosha thank you very much and Thanks
- 49:37Speaker 1: for the chat. And I want to just say this
- 49:39Speaker 1: to you and your company. I really hope that you
- 49:41Speaker 1: go from strength to strength, especially ahead of the season.
- 49:43Speaker 1: And that new color that you mentioned there. We need
- 49:46Speaker 1: to talk, eh? Karaz.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Of course.
- 49:49Speaker 8: You've got my number now.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I do have your number. All right. We're going to
- 49:51Speaker 1: definitely talk. This is going to be lovely. Thank you, Latosha. Enjoy.
- 49:55Speaker 1: And yeah, so 25 September, sorted out. Diona's going on leave. Diona. Yes.
- 50:02Speaker 7: That's awesome.
- 50:03Speaker 1: By the way, how is it that your boss didn't
- 50:04Speaker 1: know who you were, man? What happened there, man? I
- 50:09Speaker 1: love that so much. What a great person Latershi is.
- 50:13Speaker 1: I can't wait to chat to her again about my caraz.
- 50:15Speaker 1: But for you, you're getting a day off on the
- 50:17Speaker 1: 25th of September and I'm giving you 5,000 Rand from
- 50:21Speaker 1: Lotto Land. Congratulations. That's awesome.
- 50:24Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 50:25Speaker 1: You're awesome. Oh, one more thing. Have you placed a
- 50:28Speaker 1: bet on Lotto Land on or after 3 September? Yes,

- 50:35Speaker 1: You've won 10,000 rands. Enjoy your long weekend next weekend.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Enjoy it and you deserve it and enjoy the silly season.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Take it easy, but take this break and spend some
- 50:47Speaker 1: time with yourself or somebody close to you and enjoy
- 50:49Speaker 1: the 10,000 rand as well.
- 50:52Speaker 9: Thanks a lot.
- 50:55Speaker 1: No problem. Got your back, Diona. All right, there we go.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Done and dusted. The U.S. Mega Millions is rolled over again.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Maybe you want to try your luck in this one.

- 51:08Speaker 1: 3 billion rand. The next draw is taking place tomorrow
- 51:10Speaker 1: morning at 5 a.m. What's the first thing you'd do

- 51:36Speaker 2: Hi, Cassidy.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Hello. Your surname, it's sounding Portuguese. It's sounding very Portuguese.
- 51:43Speaker 3: Portuguese.
- 51:44Speaker 7: That is De Andrade.
- 51:46Speaker 1: De Andrade. Celine De Andrade. Oh, my word. Obrigada. Okay, cool.
- 51:52Speaker 1: So here's the thing. There is a beautiful dome glamping
- 51:56Speaker 1: experience for you. They have a wood-fired hot tub and
- 51:59Speaker 1: luxurious setting. Berg River, Banks, Paul, Franschhoek, 5,000 Rand, two people,
- 52:06Speaker 1: weekend stay, Celine. I know you need to win this thing.
- 52:10Speaker 1: So I have another two single word clues for you.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Let's see if you can get it. Answer the question.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Try and guess.
- 52:18Speaker 10: You're asking me nonsense?
- 52:20Speaker 5: Tell me again.
- 52:22Speaker 1: So, Celine Dandrade, here are your two single word clues.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Cassidious Maximus will start you off. Let's do this thing.
- 52:30Speaker 1: What's your word?
- 52:32Speaker 3: My word is.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Hello, can I just interject here? Thanks for clicking on
- 52:37Speaker 1: the podcast and supporting the flash drive. You can't get
- 52:40Speaker 1: the concept words here. You're going to have to listen
- 52:42Speaker 1: to them live a little later. I still love you though. Okay,
- 52:46Speaker 1: good luck. Thank you so much. You enjoy two words there.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Does it ring any bells? I know you need to
- 52:56Speaker 1: win the dome glamping experience. 5,000 Rand is its value.
- 52:59Speaker 1: Figure it out tomorrow. Same time, same space on your
- 53:02Speaker 1: flash drive. Goldfish moon walk away. Don't go away just yet.
- 53:06Speaker 1: We got the one up to go on your flash
- 53:08Speaker 1: drive and KF94. 5 and then you can go. All right.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Just make sure that you are ready. You can join
- 53:14Speaker 1: us if you want to. Today, the one up is
- 53:15Speaker 1: quite simple. It's a beautiful, beautiful, category given to us
- 53:20Speaker 1: by producer pietrus however i always like to throw it
- 53:24Speaker 1: back for a second what did we do yesterday.
- 53:28Speaker 10: You know we're going into silly season by that i
- 53:30Speaker 10: mean election season if you had to have a political
- 53:33Speaker 10: party how about you guys create a playlist that speaks
- 53:37Speaker 10: to your political party's manifesto.
- 53:41Speaker 4: I'm going to make sure that all of our roads
- 53:45Speaker 4: are fixed. Our faulty traffic lights fixed.
- 53:50Speaker 1: First and foremost, you need to identify the candidate.
- 53:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 53:54Speaker 1: So, ladies and gentlemen, who are you going to put
- 53:56Speaker 1: your trust in? Westie.
- 53:58Speaker 3: Westie.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Thank you so much. You vote for me. You vote
- 54:06Speaker 1: for change.
- 54:07Speaker 4: I want to be more involved in the communities. So
- 54:10Speaker 4: I want you to understand that you can call me.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Don't call me after working hours. But you can call me.
- 54:20Speaker 1: If you are going to vote for me, what will
- 54:22Speaker 1: you receive with voting for me?
- 54:23Speaker 4: Right?
- 54:23Speaker 1: You vote for Wastie, you get the love.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Wastie Love.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Wastie Love. Thank you very much. I appreciate you.
- 54:31Speaker 5: Electric Avenue.
- 54:33Speaker 3: No more power cuts.
- 54:35Speaker 1: No. Oh, thank you.
- 54:36Speaker 3: There is going to be so much electricity.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Okay, hold on. While we're here, electricity is not our
- 54:41Speaker 1: only problem. Don't forget, we're going to El Nino, which means...
- 54:47Speaker 1: Don't wait until the water runs dry. Don't wait until
- 54:50Speaker 1: the water runs dry. If it's yellow, let it mellow.
- 54:52Speaker 1: If it's brown, flush it down. Why do we get
- 55:02Speaker 1: amnesia right after we do the one up? I keep forgetting.
- 55:06Speaker 1: You know what? Because we're so in the moment. And
- 55:07Speaker 1: that's what I love about live. Is that we don't
- 55:10Speaker 1: know what's going to come out of our mouths. And
- 55:12Speaker 1: then we forget immediately. That was fun. What do you
- 55:15Speaker 1: want to do tonight?
- 55:16Speaker 10: So, you know, like parents name their kids like Summer.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Carl. I was named after what I was wearing when
- 55:24Speaker 1: I was born.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 55:27Speaker 5: Cassidy, what were you named after then?
- 55:29Speaker 1: She was kind of butch.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Good one.
- 55:33Speaker 5: Anyway, you know, kids these days, they've got these like
- 55:36Speaker 5: rain and... Storm.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 55:41Speaker 5: Now, I want you to look into the future.
- 55:44Speaker 1: All right.
- 55:45Speaker 5: Imagine yourself, you're a teacher.
- 55:47Speaker 10: Okay, so 10 years from now, you're a teacher, you're
- 55:52Speaker 10: standing in class and you have to do roll calls.
- 55:57Speaker 5: What does that sound like?
- 56:01Speaker 7: What?
- 56:01Speaker 1: Oh, that would be done by my robot. Is that
- 56:08Speaker 1: what you meant? Oh, no, no, no.
- 56:10Speaker 5: What are the kids?
- 56:12Speaker 1: Are you saying based on certain trends now, people like
- 56:15Speaker 1: to name their kids off the trends? Exactly.
- 56:18Speaker 10: So like in 10 years from now, if you're a
- 56:20Speaker 10: teacher standing in class and you have to do roll call,
- 56:23Speaker 10: what does that sound like?
- 56:24Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 56:24Speaker 1: No, no, that's an easy one. It'll sound robotic. Actually,
- 56:28Speaker 1: the robots by that time, Skynet would have been at
- 56:32Speaker 1: the helm and then there would have been Sarah Connor.
- 56:35Speaker 1: They would have tried to come after her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah,
- 56:37Speaker 1: that's all. But then NEO would have become really aware
- 56:40Speaker 1: and then led the resistance before we scorched the sky
- 56:44Speaker 1: to try and take the solar power away from the
- 56:45Speaker 1: bots before they use us as batteries.
- 56:48Speaker 5: No, we were fine because we said yes and thank you.
- 56:51Speaker 5: Thank you and please.
- 56:52Speaker 3: That is true.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes.
- 56:53Speaker 7: Okay.
- 56:55Speaker 1: All right.
- 56:56Speaker 5: That's not my name.
- 56:58Speaker 1: That's not my name. I know where you want to
- 57:03Speaker 1: go with this. There are certain trends now that people
- 57:06Speaker 1: love so much they're going to name their kids after them.
- 57:08Speaker 1: That's what you mean in the next 10 years.
- 57:09Speaker 5: I got you.
- 57:11Speaker 1: What do you think? Cassidy, why are you taking so
- 57:16Speaker 1: long on this?
- 57:17Speaker 2: It's dramatic.
- 57:17Speaker 3: It's a dramatic pause.
- 57:19Speaker 2: Gatsbriella?
- 57:22Speaker 1: Gatsbriella? Yeah. I thought you meant something like Riz van Jarsveld.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Riz van Jarsveld, are you here?
- 57:35Speaker 2: Oh, that's fun too.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Riz van Jarsveld. Thank you.
- 57:41Speaker 4: Waifani.
- 57:46Speaker 2: Waifani.
- 57:48Speaker 3: We only do first names in my class apparently.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Oh, okay. You don't have surnames. I got surnames for
- 57:54Speaker 1: days here. Hey. All right. High key, Phyllis. High key, Phyllis.
- 58:01Speaker 1: High key, Phyllis. Thank you.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Savannah Littay.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Look here, in Cape Town, you can't turn your back
- 58:18Speaker 1: without someone hooking up one of those. Nice one. Very,
- 58:21Speaker 1: very nice.
- 58:24Speaker 6: Let me see here. Blue Tick Jeffries. Blue Tick Jeffries.
- 58:29Speaker 6: Blue Tick Jeffries. Blue Tick Jeffries. You're looking at me,
- 58:33Speaker 6: but you're not responding.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Oh, never mind.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Makes sense.
- 58:45Speaker 3: It's one of those, like, first name, first name situations.
- 58:48Speaker 1: No, no, we've got it. All right. I don't mean
- 58:51Speaker 1: to be dull on this one, but Drought Mbata. Drought Mbata.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Is he late to get... Drought. Okay, he's here.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Instagram Michaels. Instagram. Instagram.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Reels Machlapo. Reels Machlapo. Malvinia Jordan.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Malvinia Jordan. Malvinia Jordan.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Claude. If you know, you know.
- 59:44Speaker 2: PayPal Simons.
- 59:46Speaker 1: If you're going to go like that, then I'm going
- 59:50Speaker 1: to have to go with this one. Very low hanging
- 59:52Speaker 1: based on that. Hi, Roxanne. Hi, Roxanne.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Are you here? Hi, Roxanne.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: She's still running, sir.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Okay, but she.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Must come here. Okay, but where is she gone? She's
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: doing the flip. Okay, no problem. It's fine. We'll wait
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: for her. Thank you. Just who else are we looking for, Cassidy?
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Bull Tongue Easy, my cousin.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Odysseus Magapulo. Odysseus Magapulo. Odysseus.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Oh, gosh.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: But why is he taking so long?
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Because he takes long all the time.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Okay, no problem. I understand. No problem. We'll wait for
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: him as well. Who else is here? Who else?
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Boltoni Anthony.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Boltoni Anthony.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Hormuz Isaacs. Hormuz Isaacs. Here? Not here.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Jakub Beans.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Who's talking in the back here? Who's talking? Plato bootlegger Johnson.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: You get outside.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Oh, we're terrible.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Come on now. I was waiting for this one. Brian.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: That's it.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: You do it.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I thought you would do this one. It's so low hanging. Okay. Okay.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Come on now. Matcha boba water. Late again.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: You're late again.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Late again.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: This is your future child.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: I think I'm done.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: Based on calls after.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Jodie's got one more. Jodie's got one more.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: He's the.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: He's spoken. Did you hear what he said? He spoke
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: on air. What did he say now?
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: Jojo Lean.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Jojo Lean. He also said in my ear, Mr. Dean.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Mr.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Dean something in my ears. Oh, there we go. Thank you.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Oh. 60-60.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Where are you?
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Oh, Dearbolt.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: That's a fun one.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Dearbolt is very nice.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Very good.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: A $ AP Nicholson.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Joe, we're just putting them all together. Aren't we?
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: It's whatever.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: This is very good.
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: And I've got your future tiles as well.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: What's that?
