Have you been around this campus long
• 0:01
enough to get a feel for for what this
• 0:03
rivalry means to a lot of people?
• 0:04
  >> Yeah, we kind of talked about it in our
• 0:06
meeting today and it really means a lot.
• 0:08
Um Gabe Gross really talked about it how
• 0:10
it really just means more than just
• 0:12
rivalry. It's around the people here in
• 0:13
  Auburn.
• 0:15
  >> What u what do you think you'll need to
• 0:17
do to continue to have the success that
• 0:19
  you've had to this point?
• 0:20
  >> Really just being repetitive and keeping
• 0:21
it simple. Really just mixing my pitches
• 0:23
well and trusting our team behind us.
• 0:27
you know, for you guys as a as a staff.
• 0:29
I mean, obviously going on the road,
• 0:30
been on the road to Missouri already,
• 0:31
but uh you you you relish that going
• 0:34
into another person's house and pitching
• 0:36
  in an environment like that.
• 0:37
  >> It really uh ramps things up maybe a
• 0:39
tiny bit, but I really just try to keep
• 0:41
to myself and really just trust the guys
• 0:43
behind us knowing that um out there
• 0:45
we're going to really just be able to
• 0:47
  battle and whatever whatever
• 0:49
circumstance we get, we're going to be
• 0:51
able to really deal with it and move on.
• 0:55
I think Alabama's won their last four,
• 0:57
but just in what you've seen is
• 0:58
steadying up on them just what what I
• 1:00
guess has kind of given their lineup
• 1:01
success especially through the last four
• 1:03
  games.
• 1:03
  >> Yeah, I mean I think it's also the
• 1:05
pitching that they face. Um I saw like
• 1:07
they were getting lost a ton. So given
• 1:09
those three bases we talked about it,
• 1:10
make sure we can eliminate that. And for
• 1:12
us, I also saw that there's a good
• 1:14
amount of lefties. So me and Sanders
• 1:16
going out there really is going to um
• 1:18
make them a little bit uncomfortable.
