- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, The Truth about Sorority Life with
- 0:04Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia Judice, Daisy Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of Dirty Rush. Today we
- 0:14Speaker 2: have parts two of our boys Asque episode.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Let's jump right in.
- 0:20Speaker 4: I think a lot of guys don't really know. But
- 0:21Speaker 4: what is it like living in a sorority house? What's
- 0:24Speaker 4: like the aspect of the house smam if there's one.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Maybe some of you guys didn't do it, But what
- 0:29Speaker 4: is it like?
- 0:30Speaker 3: Phil? And I'm kind of curious what you think it's like? Like,
- 0:33Speaker 3: what do you think living in.
- 0:34Speaker 2: The sorority house is different than like living in a
- 0:37Speaker 2: fraternity house.
- 0:38Speaker 1: We all spoon each other and do each other's hair,
- 0:40Speaker 1: Like is.
- 0:40Speaker 3: That pillow fights?
- 0:42Speaker 4: Maybe hair, not the pillow fights. But I think I
- 0:45Speaker 4: have some like misconceptions. I at my school, no one
- 0:49Speaker 4: wants to live in this one house because the mom's
- 0:50Speaker 4: like a complete whoa.
- 0:52Speaker 3: That's interesting.
- 0:53Speaker 4: You get, like you don't have to pay barely any
- 0:55Speaker 4: rent if you live in the house, and like you
- 0:57Speaker 4: get a lot of amenities with that, which also is
- 1:00Speaker 4: probably pretty nice, like not like a cook or whatever
- 1:03Speaker 4: it is. What it's really like I mean, you kind
- 1:06Speaker 4: of have a random group thrown in there, right, because
- 1:08Speaker 4: it can be like people on execs sometimes, so like
- 1:11Speaker 4: it might suck not to be with like your core
- 1:13Speaker 4: friend group. But I know at bigger schools they have
- 1:15Speaker 4: bigger houses, you're with your whole PC or like I
- 1:18Speaker 4: guess it's different at every school.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I loved it at my school, but I remember my
- 1:23Speaker 2: year like not enough girls wanted to live in it.
- 1:26Speaker 2: It was like the year before it was like a
- 1:28Speaker 2: fight to live in it, and then my year, like
- 1:30Speaker 2: no one wanted to live in it, so they had
- 1:31Speaker 2: to like force girls to live in it because like
- 1:33Speaker 2: with nationals and whatnot.
- 1:35Speaker 3: But I loved it.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I feel like I got closer with a lot of
- 1:37Speaker 2: girls I wasn't friends with before because for us, it's
- 1:39Speaker 2: like sophomore year. So if you weren't like in a
- 1:42Speaker 2: dorm or the same dormis and one freshman year, you
- 1:44Speaker 2: might not have gone to know them. And then after
- 1:46Speaker 2: you go through recruitment on the other side, I feel
- 1:48Speaker 2: like you bond with a lot of girls that you
- 1:49Speaker 2: didn't know, So I feel like that was always fun
- 1:51Speaker 2: and like all the pregames and like all the like
- 1:55Speaker 2: we would always just like pre game together and then
- 1:57Speaker 2: like the next mornings like all of chat and have
- 2:00Speaker 2: a pow wow about like our knights. And that was
- 2:02Speaker 2: like my favorite memories in the house.
- 2:05Speaker 5: I didn't live in, but witnessing it from an outside perspective,
- 2:08Speaker 5: like it was a bloodbath. Everyone wanted to live in
- 2:11Speaker 5: and they only had a certain amount of spots, and
- 2:13Speaker 5: so room picks was like like the competition to get
- 2:17Speaker 5: house points to be able to live in was like
- 2:20Speaker 5: the most stressful that people would be on exec not
- 2:22Speaker 5: because they wanted to, but because they knew it would
- 2:24Speaker 5: give them like an extra amount of house points to
- 2:27Speaker 5: be able to like have enough to live in. And yeah,
- 2:32Speaker 5: like I think there was this one room in our
- 2:34Speaker 5: house that became super popular. It's called Porch, and it
- 2:37Speaker 5: became this room wherever it had this tradition of like
- 2:39Speaker 5: making girls that didn't know each other become like best friends.
- 2:42Speaker 5: And once that kind of started, probably like four or
- 2:44Speaker 5: five years ago, it just became this thing where ever
- 2:46Speaker 5: wanted to live in Porch and everyone wanted to be
- 2:47Speaker 5: in a room with ten girls, and so like the
- 2:49Speaker 5: dynamics of our house, I think within the past like
- 2:51Speaker 5: five years have just completely shifted because everyone feels like
- 2:55Speaker 5: to be in our sorority, like you need to have
- 2:57Speaker 5: that like live in, live with like all se any
- 3:00Speaker 5: girl experience, or you're not like doing it right.
- 3:02Speaker 6: I loved it. I lived in for like cause I
- 3:05Speaker 6: joined late. I was like really hesitant on living in
- 3:08Speaker 6: because I thought my coaches would absolutely kill me. And
- 3:10Speaker 6: I totally understand why now. Parts of it were like, Wow,
- 3:15Speaker 6: I feel like I'm living in a hotel because we
- 3:17Speaker 6: have cleaners that come in and you wake up and
- 3:19Speaker 6: there's brunch and like all this like fun stuff. But
- 3:21Speaker 6: then like on the weekends of like you're living next
- 3:25Speaker 6: to like five neighboring frats that are blasting music and
- 3:28Speaker 6: blasting house music at either the most random hours of
- 3:31Speaker 6: the day from like three to like five o'clock or
- 3:34Speaker 6: then also from like twelve to two am. It was
- 3:37Speaker 6: like I would have to sleep with earplugs in and
- 3:41Speaker 6: I'm ask and it was a nightmare. And also like
- 3:44Speaker 6: weekends when you don't have a cleaning crew, like our
- 3:46Speaker 6: house would get disgusting. We would have like weekend like
- 3:51Speaker 6: cleanup crews, which like would be girls in the house
- 3:54Speaker 6: who had like clean up on the weekends before our
- 3:56Speaker 6: cleaners came in on Monday.
- 3:58Speaker 1: All that hair.
- 3:59Speaker 6: It was just fowl like having to take out like
- 4:02Speaker 6: our trash that would just be like piled like so
- 4:05Speaker 6: piled up to the top, and like cleaning dishes and
- 4:08Speaker 6: just like it was just disgusting, especially on like weekends too,
- 4:11Speaker 6: like after like a big like game day and whatever.
- 4:14Speaker 7: That was awful.
- 4:16Speaker 6: And then also like when you have like a TV
- 4:18Speaker 6: room in your house and like you have to like
- 4:20Speaker 6: reserve it, and like you're on like your app and
- 4:22Speaker 6: you're like, I'm reserving this room from like six to
- 4:24Speaker 6: eight and it's like, no I reserved at this time.
- 4:27Speaker 6: And it was just like little battles over stuff like that.
- 4:29Speaker 6: And then like yeah, like house points like it was.
- 4:32Speaker 6: It was definitely like a war at sometimes. But then
- 4:34Speaker 6: that's also the same time, like you'd have like such
- 4:36Speaker 6: like nice amenity things, and it's also like so cheap
- 4:39Speaker 6: too compared to like other housing options, especially like in Berkeley.
- 4:43Speaker 6: But it was a little bit of a nightmare at times.
- 4:46Speaker 1: But overall, Dylan, I'm curious, did you live in a
- 4:50Speaker 1: fraternity at your school?
- 4:52Speaker 4: Yes? I did.
- 4:53Speaker 1: How dirty, Like is a fraternity, Like do you have
- 4:58Speaker 1: a cleaning crew. How often do you guys wash their sheets?
- 5:01Speaker 1: Do they scrub the toilet like I've always wanted to
- 5:03Speaker 1: know that.
- 5:04Speaker 4: I think it's different for different times of the year.
- 5:08Speaker 4: When it's the end of the year and you know
- 5:10Speaker 4: you're gonna get pledges the next year, there's just a
- 5:13Speaker 4: bunch of trash that stacks up in the summer and
- 5:16Speaker 4: no one's really doing the old just throwing their stuff
- 5:18Speaker 4: on the curb waiting for pledges to come get it
- 5:21Speaker 4: in the next year. When they get pledges, like the
- 5:23Speaker 4: first quarter or first semester, when you usually have pledges,
- 5:26Speaker 4: it's super clean because they're coming like once a week
- 5:30Speaker 4: or maybe twice a week. But like then all the
- 5:33Speaker 4: guys in the house gets super lazy and start like
- 5:35Speaker 4: acting like that. And then when you don't have any
- 5:37Speaker 4: pledges left and they've all like whatever been initiated, everyone's
- 5:42Speaker 4: just super complacent and like, forget how to clean?
- 5:45Speaker 1: Do you really rely on pledges?
- 5:47Speaker 4: Yeah? For sure?
- 5:48Speaker 3: Interesting, Wait, Dylan, I have a question.
- 5:51Speaker 2: At your houses at either school, was there like a
- 5:54Speaker 2: wall in every room of all the stuff guys would steal?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Like I remember I'd go into the fraternity house in
- 5:59Speaker 2: my school and it's like stop sign bar signs, like
- 6:02Speaker 2: they just stole it all and like had a mirror
- 6:05Speaker 2: a bit like everywhere.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Definitely someone had a seven eleven sign in their.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so what is that about guys that like is
- 6:13Speaker 2: the obsession with like sealing stuff and like keeping it.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I mean, I would think it would just be like
- 6:17Speaker 4: a walk back from the bar, walk off from the party.
- 6:18Speaker 4: You see it and you think it'd be funny to
- 6:20Speaker 4: like grab it and rip it and break it down.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, guys are so different.
- 6:25Speaker 4: I've never done that personally, but I think it would
- 6:30Speaker 4: be fun. Yeah, living in the fraternity is awesome. You
- 6:32Speaker 4: just get to be around your friends. I think it's
- 6:34Speaker 4: for sure worth it, like unless unless you don't make
- 6:37Speaker 4: any friends, Like it's one hundred percent worth it.
- 6:40Speaker 1: This is TMI for the guys that I would go
- 6:43Speaker 1: do their fraternities, but I would hate I assume it's
- 6:46Speaker 1: a beard, But when guys like I'm guessing would shave
- 6:50Speaker 1: their beard over a sink or a toilet, and then
- 6:52Speaker 1: you would go to a party and you would see
- 6:54Speaker 1: the little black hairs when you're going to the bathroom.
- 6:57Speaker 1: That was disgusting, is what I'm talking about have you
- 7:00Speaker 1: ever been to a yes? Like, oh, Like, I think
- 7:03Speaker 1: girl hair on the ground is much better than that.
- 7:05Speaker 4: I'm trying to think about other things are interesting about
- 7:07Speaker 4: living in the house. I think also if you live
- 7:10Speaker 4: in the house, you have to be very like you
- 7:14Speaker 4: have to be very social, and you have to be
- 7:17Speaker 4: able to like, if you're sick, you're gonna be there's
- 7:19Speaker 4: gonna be people partying around you all the time, or
- 7:21Speaker 4: there's pledges coming in the morning or late at night,
- 7:24Speaker 4: and like are getting screamed at. You have to like
- 7:26Speaker 4: be able to put up with that, which that part sucks.
- 7:42Speaker 4: How do storty girls choose their big in littles? And
- 7:45Speaker 4: I will explain after how we choose ours. You guys
- 7:48Speaker 4: can go first.
- 7:50Speaker 2: We date I don't know about if everyone else, but
- 7:52Speaker 2: like we date around and so you have your bid
- 7:57Speaker 2: day buddy, and then you kind of like fill out
- 7:59Speaker 2: a form about your interests and whatnot, and then they'll
- 8:02Speaker 2: match you with other girls and you can like request
- 8:05Speaker 2: each other. I think it's how it was, So you
- 8:07Speaker 2: request each other and like they'll take you out to
- 8:09Speaker 2: dinner or I remember the first temp Big was the
- 8:12Speaker 2: name of ours Temp Big.
- 8:13Speaker 7: I had we.
- 8:15Speaker 2: She was the one who like took me out for
- 8:16Speaker 2: my first night of college, and like with my sword,
- 8:18Speaker 2: it's like very serious, like you must stay with your
- 8:22Speaker 2: temp little the entire first night down and you're not
- 8:24Speaker 2: allowed to leave them because like so many girls like
- 8:26Speaker 2: their first night out in college like get a little
- 8:28Speaker 2: too drunk, So you like have to stay with them
- 8:30Speaker 2: the whole night. And then you like kind of trade
- 8:32Speaker 2: off after that and then you you and your big
- 8:35Speaker 2: like pick each other and then that's how it's kind
- 8:37Speaker 2: of works.
- 8:38Speaker 3: But it's a whole process. It's like a whole thing.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You like go to dinner with them, and you'll go
- 8:42Speaker 2: out with other temp littles.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't have that.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Do any of you have twins? I had twins.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I was a twin. I didn't have twins.
- 8:50Speaker 4: I was.
- 8:50Speaker 7: I was also a twin, Like the best experience ever.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Like I'm best best best friends with my twin and
- 8:55Speaker 5: she's two years younger than me.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Do any of you not speak to your little or
- 8:58Speaker 1: big anymore?
- 9:00Speaker 3: I'm really close with my little big.
- 9:02Speaker 8: I'm not as close with them, I feel like I
- 9:04Speaker 8: because it happened so early, you don't even know, like
- 9:06Speaker 8: who you're gonna be friends with, Like I have younger
- 9:08Speaker 8: girls that I would say, like I'm far closer with
- 9:11Speaker 8: than and like see on a regular basis as opposed
- 9:14Speaker 8: to my little, but nothing gets my little.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I love her, I'm just closer with other people.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Since I rushed my sophomore year. My big is actually
- 9:22Speaker 6: my grade, so like she was already like a friend
- 9:25Speaker 6: that I had because like she's also an athletes and
- 9:28Speaker 6: we were kind of just like automatically, like I don't
- 9:30Speaker 6: even think I went on any dates. I think because
- 9:32Speaker 6: like my sorority was like, oh, like you guys like
- 9:34Speaker 6: know each other and you guys are both like like
- 9:36Speaker 6: you guys can just like be together, and then that
- 9:39Speaker 6: was it. So highly recommend if you joinly have a
- 9:43Speaker 6: big that's also your grade, because then you guys just
- 9:45Speaker 6: gonna do everything together.
- 9:46Speaker 1: That's cute. I love that, Dylan, And tell us about
- 9:49Speaker 1: your little or big how that happened.
- 9:50Speaker 4: I've heard from some of my friends and like this
- 9:53Speaker 4: is how it was My own attorney a lot, and
- 9:56Speaker 4: I've heard around from I think my dad was it.
- 10:00Speaker 4: A lot of fraternities will have like a test on
- 10:04Speaker 4: like history or something, and this could be like in
- 10:06Speaker 4: the middle of your pledge period and they say you
- 10:08Speaker 4: need to like read through your whole book. I think
- 10:10Speaker 4: most attorneys they usually have like a pledge book. It's
- 10:13Speaker 4: like just all founders and all the history and stuff.
- 10:15Speaker 4: But you have to They give you a certain amount
- 10:17Speaker 4: of pages you need to like study, and then they'll
- 10:19Speaker 4: have the next one. They make it seem like a
- 10:21Speaker 4: huge thing, and then they'll ask you like some impossible
- 10:25Speaker 4: question from it and they'll get it. You'll get it wrong,
- 10:27Speaker 4: and they'll walk you down and act like you're getting
- 10:29Speaker 4: dropped or whatever, and then you're big will be right there.
- 10:33Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 10:33Speaker 4: And I went first out of like Stevany was it
- 10:38Speaker 4: of us and or sixty And I remember I got
- 10:41Speaker 4: to watch every single guy after me and someone were
- 10:44Speaker 4: crying and the big will just have like a bottle
- 10:49Speaker 4: in their hands, like waiting for you guys to drink
- 10:51Speaker 4: it together.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Oh my god. And I wish I was a guy.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Did you guys spend a lot of money on like
- 10:56Speaker 1: making baskets for the big little review?
- 10:59Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Oh my gosh, what a way. It was
- 11:02Speaker 3: fun though.
- 11:03Speaker 1: It was fun, but like guys do it so easy.
- 11:06Speaker 9: We kind of got it back though, because our senior year,
- 11:10Speaker 9: like the last week we get angel baskets, so like
- 11:12Speaker 9: our littles will make baskets for us, so then yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 9: get it back and then yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 2: I also feel like you collect so many of those
- 11:21Speaker 2: shirts from your sorority that like, by the time I
- 11:23Speaker 2: was a sophomore, I was kind of like ready to
- 11:24Speaker 2: get rid of them because I didn't have space for them,
- 11:26Speaker 2: and I was like, I'm not wearing them every day anymore.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I just need to get rid of like all of them.
- 11:30Speaker 2: So it was like fun to like give to the
- 11:32Speaker 2: freshman that was so excited about them.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Well, I have a question for you guys. You guys
- 11:36Speaker 1: are making me think of stuff. Like for me, I
- 11:39Speaker 1: always thought it was weird maybe like starting junior year
- 11:42Speaker 1: and a sophomore year to like wear my sorority shirts
- 11:45Speaker 1: are on camp. I agree, like there comes a certain
- 11:48Speaker 1: point where like, okay, I shouldn't be like wearing all
- 11:51Speaker 1: my like merch for my sorority.
- 11:53Speaker 9: I was the same, I like made the merch my
- 11:56Speaker 9: junior year, so I could feeling kind of think that way.
- 11:59Speaker 9: I still wear like the hoodies that I like, but
- 12:05Speaker 9: like I made a mockneck and I was like it's
- 12:06Speaker 9: super cute. So I'm gonna wear this, but I won't
- 12:08Speaker 9: wear like the like shirts that you'd have to wear
- 12:11Speaker 9: for like specific events, you know, like Joogie Ones.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I remember we had rain jackets with our sworty. I
- 12:18Speaker 2: don't know if this is the thing at every school,
- 12:19Speaker 2: that thing like I wish I could still wear it today,
- 12:21Speaker 2: but I can't wear it around the streets in New York.
- 12:23Speaker 2: But like it had your swarty on it and it
- 12:25Speaker 2: was like the best rain jacket ever, And I'm like
- 12:28Speaker 2: sad I had to part with it, but it's okay.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Everything else I was ready to part with, Like.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Dylan, I think it's different for a guy, but as
- 12:33Speaker 1: a girl, Like, I'm not going to go around Brentwood
- 12:36Speaker 1: in La, twenty eight years old wearing a Gamafibaita sweatshirt.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Yeah no, I think most that stuff needs to be
- 12:42Speaker 4: put away for guys and girls once they graduate.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Way close the yearbook.
- 12:49Speaker 4: What's something guys think girls care about at parties and
- 12:52Speaker 4: girls really don't care about at all?
- 12:56Speaker 9: I mean, I was gonna say the murals that you
- 12:58Speaker 9: were just talking about.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Like, I know, wait, I totally disagree with that. I
- 13:05Speaker 1: feel like when I would walk into a party and
- 13:07Speaker 1: I would see, like one of those murals been done.
- 13:09Speaker 8: You're like immediate photo, op, want to take a photo
- 13:12Speaker 8: with my friends everyone, I know where you are.
- 13:15Speaker 7: I feel like my biggest thing was always the music.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Like I my friends, and I always cared so much
- 13:20Speaker 5: about the music, like especially on like game days, which
- 13:22Speaker 5: is like huge, like you have such a big group
- 13:24Speaker 5: of people, and like you want to dance with your
- 13:26Speaker 5: friends and like music sometimes like I remember walking into
- 13:28Speaker 5: a frat. No offense to those who like country music,
- 13:31Speaker 5: but I walked into a frat and I didn't realize,
- 13:33Speaker 5: but the entire night was like it wasn't even like
- 13:35Speaker 5: a country themed party, but it only played country music,
- 13:39Speaker 5: and like all of my friends kind of were just
- 13:41Speaker 5: like ready to leave at a certain point we run
- 13:43Speaker 5: into it.
- 13:44Speaker 10: Yeah, this is kind of like going off of that,
- 13:46Speaker 10: but like having music that like matches the theme of
- 13:49Speaker 10: a party, like if it's like a USA party, like
- 13:52Speaker 10: don't play house music the entire time, like or I
- 13:54Speaker 10: don't know whatever, just something that's like cohesive. I feel like,
- 13:58Speaker 10: but I don't know. I feel neutral about the murals
- 14:01Speaker 10: and like drawing things.
- 14:03Speaker 6: I feel like my friends really cared about like types
- 14:06Speaker 6: of alcohol that we're being served. Yeah, like if it's
- 14:08Speaker 6: like a morning game day, Like there's one frat that
- 14:11Speaker 6: always does mimosas, so we're like, obviously we're gonna go
- 14:14Speaker 6: to have mimosas in the morning versus like a Kirkland Seltzer.
- 14:17Speaker 6: Like that's way better. And I feel like that's like
- 14:20Speaker 6: the one thing girls are always so annoyed about. Like
- 14:22Speaker 6: I personally like never drink at frats because I just
- 14:24Speaker 6: know that they're just gonna have the alcohol.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, that's such a good point. S. I mean, I
- 14:28Speaker 2: have a question going off of what you said. I
- 14:30Speaker 2: feel like at certain fraternities, the DJ thing is like
- 14:33Speaker 2: really big and like there's always like an assigned guy
- 14:36Speaker 2: that's like good at the DJ, and he's like super
- 14:38Speaker 2: into it. Like does the whole DJ think of any
- 14:41Speaker 2: of you guys an ic Like obviously they have a
- 14:44Speaker 2: huge role to play, but sometimes I just feel like
- 14:46Speaker 2: they get a little too into it.
- 14:48Speaker 5: I feel like it goes back from this thing before
- 14:50Speaker 5: was like the way you carry yourself with how you
- 14:52Speaker 5: speak to other people, because a lot of the times
- 14:54Speaker 5: the DJ's had like the crazy, like such a crazy.
- 14:56Speaker 7: Ego never date a DJ, so like mean.
- 15:01Speaker 5: About their death. And I understand it's expensive. I understand
- 15:04Speaker 5: there's a computer. I understand like you put money and
- 15:06Speaker 5: time into practicing your set, but I also feel like
- 15:09Speaker 5: you can just be nice to like the people around you.
- 15:11Speaker 5: And it kind of just seemed like they were so
- 15:13Speaker 5: not locked in because they cared so much, but because
- 15:16Speaker 5: they knew like their image like relied on it, and
- 15:18Speaker 5: it kind of Yeah.
- 15:19Speaker 9: Brad, DJ, isn't taking song requests? And what are you
- 15:22Speaker 9: doing because like this isn't you're You're performing for people
- 15:26Speaker 9: that are drunk off of their right. They don't care
- 15:28Speaker 9: about your set that you're created. They want to hear
- 15:31Speaker 9: like the song that they want a dance to, Like,
- 15:33Speaker 9: you're not that.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Right, Dylan, Are you with DJ?
- 15:36Speaker 4: I am not? I know how to I like a
- 15:40Speaker 4: lot of my My big taught me and he always
- 15:42Speaker 4: wanted me to do it with him.
- 15:44Speaker 8: When you saw your big DJ where you like, oh
- 15:46Speaker 8: my god, that's the coolest thing I've ever.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Seen, you wanted to do it too?
- 15:52Speaker 4: No, I mean he he it wasn't. He was really
- 15:55Speaker 4: good teacher, Like it only took like two hours. I
- 15:57Speaker 4: have his old one with me actually right now, Like
- 16:01Speaker 4: it's stored but not like next to me.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Next time we go on a zoom, you got to
- 16:04Speaker 1: bring it out and play something I can.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Show you guys. Yeah, but no, I didn't. I didn't
- 16:11Speaker 4: think he was like the coolest guy ever. I mean,
- 16:13Speaker 4: I thought he was a nice guy. That's why I
- 16:15Speaker 4: liked him. Okay, God, How important is a guy's social
- 16:33Speaker 4: media when deciding whether to talk to him? What things
- 16:36Speaker 4: you look for is they're like a profile pick that's
- 16:39Speaker 4: like good versus bad? Is there like a lot of
- 16:42Speaker 4: like shirts off? I don't know.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I think less is more honestly, like, please have less photos.
- 16:48Speaker 9: I feel like a minimal presence. But if they have
- 16:50Speaker 9: a bunch of friends in their comments, and that's good
- 16:53Speaker 9: because they have a lot of friends, I like that,
- 16:56Speaker 9: But they don't need to be posting a ton No.
- 16:58Speaker 6: I don't have a lot of photo of just yourself.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Also like oh yeah, yeah, I agree, they all like
- 17:04Speaker 6: I just know that you're like obsessed with yourself and
- 17:06Speaker 6: like you're probably just as nonchalant as they get post
- 17:09Speaker 6: with your friends.
- 17:10Speaker 7: That's it.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I hate when guys like I had like a friend
- 17:13Speaker 1: who I helped like stock this guy's Instagram for her,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and he followed so many only fans models, and I
- 17:21Speaker 1: think that is just such a red flag.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Yeah, oh my gosh, I have a guy friend even now,
- 17:28Speaker 8: like out of college who I was talking with my
- 17:31Speaker 8: girlfriends the other day and like Justin Bieber posted this
- 17:34Speaker 8: photo of Hatley and like we were like, of.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Course he liked it.
- 17:39Speaker 3: He always likes these.
- 17:43Speaker 1: It was like a photo of for like in like
- 17:45Speaker 1: in underwear bikini. Oh god, what about girls? Like do
- 17:48Speaker 1: you think it's weird when girls have selfies or when
- 17:50Speaker 1: they like post Like I don't know, like what's weird
- 17:53Speaker 1: to you?
- 17:53Speaker 4: I like a good like in between of kind of
- 17:56Speaker 4: like cool photos with they don't even have to be
- 17:59Speaker 4: in it versus like them if it's all them and
- 18:01Speaker 4: it looks like you literally went to the beach for
- 18:03Speaker 4: the photo shoot. I think it's a little cringe.
- 18:05Speaker 3: That's valid.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Yeah, Like I like like a bigger dump or like
- 18:09Speaker 4: I don't know, something with miss some more like.
- 18:11Speaker 1: You like like a swipe versus a one photo.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I think one photo people still do that. I feel
- 18:17Speaker 4: like it's kind of weak.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Like back in my day.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, but I feel like people don't really do
- 18:22Speaker 4: that anymore.
- 18:23Speaker 7: I have a question.
- 18:24Speaker 5: I feel like there was this thing trending a while
- 18:26Speaker 5: ago about people making fun of not even making fun of,
- 18:29Speaker 5: but like laughing at frat guy captions and like thinking,
- 18:32Speaker 5: it's like there are captions on Instagram like the funniest
- 18:34Speaker 5: thing ever, Like do you guys have like a master
- 18:36Speaker 5: doc that.
- 18:37Speaker 7: You like go from?
- 18:39Speaker 5: Like I feel like I see like birthday posts for
- 18:41Speaker 5: guys is always like more life or like cakes and candles, Like.
- 18:45Speaker 7: It's just the funniest.
- 18:46Speaker 5: So it's so nonchalant, but it almost feels like they're
- 18:49Speaker 5: in on the bit, which I think kind of makes
- 18:51Speaker 5: it better. But like, what's the strategy with your guys's
- 18:54Speaker 5: Instagram captions?
- 18:56Speaker 4: I think there's always those guys that kind of want
- 18:59Speaker 4: to go like a more metal thing. I usually I
- 19:01Speaker 4: like to do like an inside joke or something that
- 19:03Speaker 4: no one knows what I'm talking about.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Give an example, like of one of your last posts,
- 19:06Speaker 1: what you did?
- 19:07Speaker 3: Yeah, do you have this masterly list?
- 19:10Speaker 7: I just there has to be like a doc that
- 19:12Speaker 7: everyone's referencing.
- 19:14Speaker 4: I was talking about like an implication that like happened
- 19:18Speaker 4: on our trip when I was abroad, but I got
- 19:21Speaker 4: like all my friends commented on it because I thought
- 19:23Speaker 4: it was hilarious, but that was really only it.
- 19:24Speaker 1: But yeah, like my little brother he just did like
- 19:27Speaker 1: a swipe of stuff and his caption is just Z,
- 19:30Speaker 1: like the letter Z way like what.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I feel like, it's always the year dumps. It's like
- 19:35Speaker 3: after year.
- 19:36Speaker 1: The guys are so weird compared to girls.
- 19:38Speaker 9: It's social sometimes, Like if it's like clever, but in
- 19:42Speaker 9: like a way that they're making fun of themselves, not
- 19:45Speaker 9: in a way that they think it's cool, then I
- 19:47Speaker 9: think it's funny.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Dylan, be honest, have you ever like asked a guy
- 19:51Speaker 1: to like take a selfie of use because you wanted
- 19:53Speaker 1: to post it on your Instagram to like, you know,
- 19:55Speaker 1: have like a thirst trap?
- 19:57Speaker 4: No, I do like a selfie or like, I don't know,
- 20:03Speaker 4: do guys do that? I have one. I had a
- 20:05Speaker 4: couple of friends abroad that like love to take candids. Yes,
- 20:09Speaker 4: I just had like a bunch that they sent me
- 20:12Speaker 4: because they were just like plugging me with them the
- 20:14Speaker 4: whole time.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Oh but you didn't ask, that's good. Yeah, that's a
- 20:17Speaker 2: true friend.
- 20:18Speaker 9: Yeah, did you know what's happening? Like when you fix
- 20:21Speaker 9: your fluster like flexcellent the.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Amount of times I feel I could see a picture
- 20:25Speaker 5: of r Dia Broad and it's like he's at the
- 20:26Speaker 5: table but he's looking away and he's holding the drink
- 20:28Speaker 5: and you just know.
- 20:29Speaker 7: That I was all set up. It's not a candid.
- 20:31Speaker 10: Yeah, or they're like smoking a cigarette, like looking out
- 20:34Speaker 10: at a view and like this O there is.
- 20:38Speaker 4: I mean, I think it's the same with girls. There's
- 20:39Speaker 4: always you kind of know when a photo is being taken,
- 20:42Speaker 4: but like when.
- 20:43Speaker 1: We look to the side and are holding our hair.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you kind of know when a photo is
- 20:46Speaker 4: being taken, but you kind of you act on slant
- 20:49Speaker 4: or whatever.
- 20:50Speaker 7: I love it.
