• 0:00
Speaker 1: That's going on, is Romeo? What do we get into today?
• 0:02
Speaker 1: We talked about your crazy dreams. We talked about tipping
• 0:05
Speaker 1: and dealing with the bill when you go out with
• 0:06
Speaker 1: large groups of people, and then we talked about marriage.
• 0:09
  Speaker 1: Does it change?
• 0:10
Speaker 2: You were not right?
• 0:11
Speaker 1: I gotta tell you what else happened? What happened yesterday?
• 0:15
Speaker 1: I got a phone call from a friend of mine.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: He's at work, and he goes, hey, can you help
• 0:21
Speaker 1: me out? And I was like, Oh, what do you need?
• 0:23
Speaker 1: He goes, my kids and their friends were going to
• 0:26
Speaker 1: Magic Mountain and they ran out of gas. I said,
• 0:31
Speaker 1: apparently these dumb ass kids ran out of gas just
• 0:38
Speaker 1: going up the Grapevine. I guess they were up somewhere
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: around I don't know, maybe where the I don't know
• 0:44
Speaker 1: what town it is, but where the rest stop is?
• 0:50
Speaker 1: You couldn't think of it the rest stop, right, I
• 0:52
Speaker 1: guess they broke down up there. They didn't break down,
• 0:54
Speaker 1: they ran out of gas. And so I was thinking
• 0:57
Speaker 1: to myself, well, isn't there a little town up there?
• 1:00
Speaker 1: Like they couldn't go up and get more gas. I
• 1:03
Speaker 1: don't know, push the car. I guess you can't push
• 1:06
Speaker 1: the car on the on the five. But he goes
• 1:11
Speaker 1: so he uh, he says, man, would you mind running
• 1:13
Speaker 1: up there and uh getting them some gas? And I said, yeah,
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: I'll go do it. I didn't you know, I don't.
• 1:19
Speaker 1: I didn't have nothing else to do, so I, uh,
• 1:24
Speaker 1: you know, I go fill up my little gas tank
• 1:26
Speaker 1: and I and I run up to and I go
• 1:27
Speaker 1: up to where they were, you know, out of gas,
• 1:30
Speaker 1: and I fill them up with gas. Kids are so
• 1:35
Speaker 1: god to be to be a teenager again. Right. I
• 1:39
Speaker 1: gave him a couple of gallons of gas because I
• 1:41
Speaker 1: think I got a three gallon gas tank or a
• 1:42
Speaker 1: four gallon gas ink, and I got them. I give
• 1:44
Speaker 1: him three gallons or four gallons worth of gas, right,
• 1:50
Speaker 1: and he go. They go, all right, we'll see later.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: And I'm like, hold on a second, where are you
• 1:55
Speaker 1: guys going, Well, we're gonna go to Magic Mountain. I'm like,
• 2:00
Speaker 1: you'll get some gas first. Four gallons of gas is
• 2:03
Speaker 1: not going to get you too magic Mountain and back.
• 2:05
Speaker 1: These idiots weren't even going to go get more gas.
• 2:08
Speaker 1: They were just so excited because they were going to
• 2:11
Speaker 1: Magic Mountain. I thought, get gas, you gotta get gas. Okay,
• 2:17
Speaker 1: there's a town right up the street. Go get some
• 2:19
Speaker 1: gas before you go. So they ended up going to
• 2:22
Speaker 1: the gas station. You get some gas, And it cracked
• 2:26
Speaker 1: me up because I just thought, man, they ran out
• 2:30
Speaker 1: of gas. Not a care in the world. We'll just
• 2:33
Speaker 1: call my dad. My dad will call his friend, his
• 2:35
Speaker 1: friend will come give us gas, and we're back on
• 2:37
Speaker 1: the road. That's simple. You ever ran out of gas.
• 2:43
Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you a story about running out of
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: gas when I was a kid, because I was a
• 2:47
Speaker 1: dumb kid, just like them. I was at a gas
• 2:51
Speaker 1: station and I don't know how long ago it was,
• 2:55
Speaker 1: but there was a six point nine earthquake in San
• 2:57
Speaker 1: Francisco or something. It was huge earthquake in San Francisco
• 3:01
Speaker 1: during the World Series, and me and my buddy, we
• 3:05
Speaker 1: were at home and we were heading out to the
• 3:07
Speaker 1: BMX track. We were gonna go racing that night. And
• 3:10
Speaker 1: but I had enough gas to get there and enough
• 3:13
Speaker 1: gas to get to San Jose to the racetrack. The
• 3:16
Speaker 1: earthquake hit while we were in uh in Morgan Hill,
• 3:22
Speaker 1: and so the gas station, the gas pumps didn't work,
• 3:26
Speaker 1: so they we didn't care. We had enough gas to
• 3:30
Speaker 1: get there. We'll just get gas. When we get after
• 3:33
Speaker 1: we race, you know, no big deal. Well, huge earthquake hit.
• 3:37
Speaker 1: Next thing you know, we didn't know it was a
• 3:39
Speaker 1: big earthquake. Next thing you know, we're in San Jose.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: We're out of gas. Everything shut down. We have no
• 3:44
Speaker 1: gas to get home, no way to get back. So
• 3:48
Speaker 1: we were stuck in San Jose for hours and hours.
• 3:51
Speaker 1: It was a ridiculous while, but that's how stupid we
• 3:56
Speaker 1: are as kids. Did you ever run out of gas?
• 3:59
Speaker 1: What happened? What happened when you ran out of gas?
• 4:01
Speaker 1: Does it still happen nowadays? Your cars get tell you
• 4:04
Speaker 1: how many miles you got, so I don't know anybody
• 4:07
Speaker 1: runs out of gas anymore. When's the last time you
• 4:11
Speaker 1: ran out of gas? When's the last time you ran
• 4:13
Speaker 1: out of gas? What happened? Already? Four two four seven seven.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: Like I said, I don't even know if people run
• 4:19
Speaker 1: out of gas anymore because of the fact that your
• 4:21
Speaker 1: car tells you exactly right how many miles you got left,
• 4:23
Speaker 1: So nobody should ever run out of gas already? Four
• 4:26
Speaker 1: two five four seven seven year old room. I used
• 4:30
Speaker 1: to have an old Chevy pickup with a gas gauge.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: One time I broke down at the seven to eleven
• 4:37
Speaker 1: at brim Hall and call Away, and I thought I
• 4:41
Speaker 1: was I thought my car broke down. So I called
• 4:44
Speaker 1: my buddy to come pick me up. We took it
• 4:47
Speaker 1: back to my house and I had my mechanic come
• 4:50
Speaker 1: by and check it out. Turns out my gas gauge
• 4:54
Speaker 1: was stuck, so my car there was nothing wrong with
• 4:57
Speaker 1: my pickup. My truck had just a stuck gas gage.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: I was out of gas. My mechanics figure that out.
• 5:05
Speaker 1: What's funny is I ran out of gas at the
• 5:07
Speaker 1: gas station. Yeah, that is funny. What's going on?
• 5:13
  Speaker 3: What's up?
• 5:14
  Speaker 4: Romeos?
• 5:15
  Speaker 2: Crazy?
• 5:16
Speaker 4: Talking about running out of gas?
• 5:18
Speaker 1: Of course you ran out of gas when.
• 5:20
Speaker 5: No, I didn't run out of gas.
• 5:22
Speaker 4: So it was my first time driving this vehicle.
• 5:27
Speaker 3: But it was a Tesla, right, and we were driving back.
• 5:32
Speaker 4: We were in La and uh, my friend was like,
• 5:36
Speaker 4: can you drive back, bro, I've been drinking. I'm like,
• 5:39
Speaker 4: I'm cool, I'll drive it. I thought it was you know,
• 5:43
Speaker 4: his phone percentage and he was knocked out, and you know,
• 5:46
Speaker 4: there was two more guys in the back.
• 5:48
  Speaker 3: He's just killing.
• 5:51
Speaker 6: And I'm like, all right, his phones about to die.
• 5:57
Speaker 4: Right before we go up the grave line.
• 6:01
Speaker 5: I was like, what the hell.
• 6:04
Speaker 1: You really are an idiot?
• 6:06
Speaker 3: I thought it was, and I was like whatever, not
• 6:15
  Speaker 3: really paying attention.
• 6:16
Speaker 6: I was just not trying not to crash the Tesla.
• 6:18
Speaker 1: Man, you ran You never run out of gas, You
• 6:21
Speaker 1: ran electricity, electricity exactly. I guess I better reevaluate when
• 6:28
Speaker 1: we're talking about running out of gas, right, Sea Hawk
• 6:30
Speaker 1: Glue ran out of electricity? How do you remember of electricity? Already?
• 6:35
Speaker 1: Fourteen seven to seven? What's the last time you ran
• 6:39
Speaker 1: out of gas or electricity? Hey, good morning Romeo. I
• 6:43
Speaker 1: got an electric car last year in hopes i'd stop
• 6:48
Speaker 1: running out of gas. Turns out now I just run
• 6:50
Speaker 1: out of battery. Well, I mean, yeah, it happens, right,
• 7:00
Speaker 1: you just I don't know anything about the electric cars.
• 7:04
Speaker 1: I don't know how I would assume based on what
• 7:09
Speaker 1: I've heard about them. They let you know. I mean,
• 7:12
Speaker 1: it's not like it's not like it's hard to know
• 7:15
Speaker 1: you're running out of battery, right, I thought they actually
• 7:18
Speaker 1: told you where the next stop was to get your
• 7:20
Speaker 1: charge and all that. I don't know a lot about them,
• 7:22
Speaker 1: but I was always told it was hard to run
• 7:24
Speaker 1: out of electricity. But okay, already four two four or
• 7:28
Speaker 1: seven seven, Like I said, when's the last time you
• 7:30
Speaker 1: ran out of gas? Or does it not even happen anymore?
• 7:33
Speaker 1: I mean nowadays, like I said, they tell you the
• 7:36
Speaker 1: electric cars tell you what percentage. I think they even
• 7:38
Speaker 1: tell you where the next charging station is. I mean,
• 7:42
Speaker 1: cars nowadays tell you exactly how many miles you have left.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: So maybe people don't run out of gas anymore. Hey, Rome,
• 7:50
Speaker 1: Luckily it's been at least five years. I bought a
• 7:53
Speaker 1: giant SUV katiea Dnali. I am famous for testing my
• 7:59
Speaker 1: gas like only only in a giant vehicle like that.
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know that when it
• 8:06
Speaker 1: said three miles, it meant three mile. Then I went
• 8:11
Speaker 1: about three blocks to fill the gas can. I ended
• 8:14
Speaker 1: up having to go three times for it to even start.
• 8:18
Speaker 1: I learned my lesson after that, and then when I
• 8:21
Speaker 1: sold it, I definitely went back down to a compact car. Well,
• 8:29
Speaker 1: I mean, that's the thing. These cars will tell you
• 8:31
Speaker 1: exactly how many miles you have left, right, I mean
• 8:35
Speaker 1: I think I think my car now, I think my
• 8:38
Speaker 1: truck at thirty five miles or I guess it doesn't
• 8:42
Speaker 1: tell you exactly because I guess that at thirty miles
• 8:45
Speaker 1: or thirty five miles, it says low. So once it
• 8:49
Speaker 1: hits low, you got under thirty miles or thirty something
• 8:51
Speaker 1: miles to go. So I mean, yeah, back of the
• 8:55
Speaker 1: old days, when you had a gas gauge man, when
• 8:59
Speaker 1: you had a gas came, you were screwed because you
• 9:01
Speaker 1: never knew yo rom I ain't never ran out of gas,
• 9:05
Speaker 1: and this story isn't really relevant to running out of gas,
• 9:09
Speaker 1: but putting gas. I was at a gas station. Some
• 9:12
Speaker 1: very attractive lady is in a big diesel truck, maybe
• 9:17
Speaker 1: twenty five hundred or something. I see she pumped the
• 9:20
Speaker 1: gas in the tank. I went up to her and
• 9:23
Speaker 1: said excuse me. She immediately said I'm married. I said, oh,
• 9:26
Speaker 1: that's fine, and then she cut me off and said,
• 9:30
Speaker 1: please just walk away. So I did. I wonder how
• 9:34
Speaker 1: it went with a full tank of gas. Oh, she
• 9:37
Speaker 1: put gas in her diesel. Yeah. Women do that. Yeah,
• 9:40
Speaker 1: they tend to do that a lot more than men.
• 9:42
Speaker 1: They put Yeah. Yeah, that's not the first time I've
• 9:46
Speaker 1: heard of a woman putting regular gas in a diesel truck.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: I wonder how that did work out for we could go,
• 9:55
Speaker 1: we could have we could we could do a whole show.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: We could do a week of shows talk about what
• 10:00
Speaker 1: happened at a gas station. People always got a story
• 10:04
Speaker 1: about being at a gas station. We were talking about
• 10:06
Speaker 1: running out of gas. A buddy of mine's kid ran
• 10:10
Speaker 1: out of gas and I had to just outside of
• 10:12
Speaker 1: the back up there. They were going to Magic Mountain,
• 10:14
Speaker 1: him and his friends, and so I had to run
• 10:16
Speaker 1: up there give him some gas, and these dummies just
• 10:18
Speaker 1: went on their way. But how do you run out
• 10:22
Speaker 1: of gas? Nowadays? These cars are so electricity, I guess
• 10:25
Speaker 1: now we've got to talk about electricity also, So I mean,
• 10:29
Speaker 1: I don't even know how that's possible to run out
• 10:32
Speaker 1: of gas. Nowadays, your cars tell you when you need
• 10:35
Speaker 1: to fill up, how many miles you got left. I'm
• 10:37
Speaker 1: sure those whatever the electric cars are, I don't know
• 10:39
Speaker 1: much about them, but I'm sure they're even more specific
• 10:42
Speaker 1: on how much energy you have left to go? Right,
• 10:44
Speaker 1: So how would you run out already? Four to four
• 10:48
Speaker 1: seven seven yo Romeo. I've never run out of gas
• 10:52
Speaker 1: because I like to keep my gas tank full. I
• 10:56
Speaker 1: don't let it go below half a tank before I
• 10:59
Speaker 1: gas up. But my wife who always runs out of
• 11:04
Speaker 1: gas because she doesn't pay attention and doesn't care. Has
• 11:08
Speaker 1: taught my daughter the same thing, rome. So now I
• 11:12
Speaker 1: got two people in my house that any moment, any day,
• 11:16
Speaker 1: I could get a phone call that they ran out
• 11:18
Speaker 1: of gas. I have to stay ready, Romeo. It never fails. Well,
• 11:24
Speaker 1: I mean, you're the man of the house. What are
• 11:28
Speaker 1: you gonna do already? Four two pot four or seven
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: to seven?
• 11:32
  Speaker 6: Yo?
• 11:32
Speaker 1: Rome, I didn't run out of gas, but I good.
• 11:34
Speaker 1: I tell you a story about being at the gas
• 11:36
Speaker 1: station yesterday. I pulled up to the gas pump. Somebody
• 11:40
Speaker 1: put a dollar sixteen. That is what was on the
• 11:45
Speaker 1: pump when I rolled up to it. I don't even
• 11:48
Speaker 1: know what a dollar sixteen gets you nowadays. Yeah, dollar
• 11:53
Speaker 1: sixteen is not a lot, all right. I gotta tell
• 11:59
Speaker 1: you this is what happened to me before. This is creepy.
• 12:03
Speaker 1: So I was just a couple hours ago. It was
• 12:06
Speaker 1: about three thirty in the morning, maybe three ish, and
• 12:13
Speaker 1: I was laying I was having this dream that I
• 12:15
Speaker 1: was in some sort of meeting, like I don't know
• 12:18
Speaker 1: if it was anyway. I was having this dream that
• 12:22
Speaker 1: I was with all these people listening to somebody talking.
• 12:24
Speaker 1: We were in rows of chairs, right, and I was
• 12:29
Speaker 1: messing around on my phone and somebody was rubbing my back,
• 12:34
Speaker 1: like you know, massaging my back, kind of softly massaging,
• 12:38
Speaker 1: and I could literally feel it like I felt it,
• 12:43
Speaker 1: and it was a dream. So I woke up and
• 12:46
Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, my back feels pretty good.
• 12:48
Speaker 1: I was. It was pretty creepy, like I could. I
• 12:54
Speaker 1: don't know how to say it. Whatever was going on
• 12:57
Speaker 1: in my dream I could feel in real life, I guess.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: Is that the way I put it. I mean, it's
• 13:04
Speaker 1: all real life, but it was. I've never experienced anything
• 13:08
Speaker 1: like that before. Never. I mean I've had some dreams
• 13:10
Speaker 1: that seemed real right you wake up, but nothing that
• 13:15
Speaker 1: actually had a sensor, a sense to it, a sensory
• 13:20
Speaker 1: How do you guys say? How would I say it?
• 13:21
Speaker 1: I don't know. It was kind of creepy. I mean,
• 13:23
Speaker 1: it wasn't scary, because it wasn't anything scary in the dream.
• 13:26
Speaker 1: It was just a bunch of people. We were, you know,
• 13:29
Speaker 1: doing something, and for some reason the person behind me
• 13:32
Speaker 1: was rubbing my back and I could feel it. I
• 13:36
Speaker 1: could feel it, and I woke up and I was like,
• 13:39
Speaker 1: oh my god, I felt that like it was really
• 13:41
Speaker 1: like it was really happening to me, not in my dream,
• 13:46
Speaker 1: but really happened to me. Does that it makes sense.
• 13:49
Speaker 1: It's kind of creepy, huh not already? Four two five, four,
• 13:52
Speaker 1: seven to seven. Yeah, it was weird. Oh all right, roam.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: There was this one time when I was asleep, but
• 13:57
Speaker 1: my girl was up and she said, at one point
• 13:59
Speaker 1: I put my arms heard up in the air pointing
• 14:01
Speaker 1: at something while I was asleep. She freaked out, went
• 14:04
Speaker 1: to uh, freaked out and went to bed. Also took video.
• 14:07
Speaker 1: It looked pretty freaky. Wow, that's crazy, man. Yeah, I
• 14:11
Speaker 1: don't know, you know, I don't know what it was.
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: I mean, I I think it's pretty common people have
• 14:17
Speaker 1: had this happen to them, where they feel like something's
• 14:19
Speaker 1: on top of them and they can't move. But a
• 14:21
Speaker 1: lot of people that have told me the stories about
• 14:23
Speaker 1: that before. I think you said you were you were
• 14:26
Speaker 1: awake when it happened, and I can remember correctly, I
• 14:30
Speaker 1: get I remember specifically I was in a dream when
• 14:33
Speaker 1: it happened, and it wasn't I wasn't afraid of it.
• 14:38
Speaker 1: I just thought it was kind of weird that I
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: couldn't yell and when I yelled. That's what I and
• 14:43
Speaker 1: I heard the yelling clearly in my ears, like like
• 14:46
Speaker 1: I was yelling in my dream, but I heard it
• 14:49
Speaker 1: in reality. That was the weird part about it. Good morning, How.
• 14:53
Speaker 6: What's going on, big boy?
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: Yeah?
• 14:58
Speaker 5: I just want to know what you're drinking, bro, I
• 15:00
Speaker 5: want some of that. I wasn't drinking anything, dude, because man,
• 15:06
Speaker 5: I swear we did the same.
• 15:07
Speaker 6: Thing at the bar.
• 15:09
  Speaker 3: Nothing.
• 15:10
Speaker 1: I wasn't drinking nothing. It was weird, man, It was
• 15:12
Speaker 1: the weirdest thing. It was weird.
• 15:16
Speaker 5: Man, you have a hard weekend. What's going on?
• 15:19
Speaker 1: Nothing? I don't know what. I was honest with you,
• 15:22
Speaker 1: no idea. I didn't do anything. Joe rom you had
• 15:32
Speaker 1: sleep paralysis. I mean I've heard about it. You guys
• 15:36
Speaker 1: have talked about that before. I mean we've had conversations about,
• 15:39
Speaker 1: you know, having those having dreams where you can't move.
• 15:42
  Speaker 1: You got But I wasn't awake. I don't think it
• 15:45
Speaker 1: was a crazy little dream man. It was. It was
• 15:47
Speaker 1: interesting to to not be You know what was funny
• 15:54
Speaker 1: was it wasn't the not being able to move part
• 15:58
Speaker 1: that freaked me out. It was the and it didn't
• 16:01
Speaker 1: even freak me out. It was the not being able
• 16:03
Speaker 1: to yell. I was trying to say help, and I
• 16:07
Speaker 1: went It was that part that was kind of like,
• 16:11
Speaker 1: what's going on here? And that was the weird part
• 16:14
Speaker 1: to me, not the part that I couldn't move. Talking
• 16:16
Speaker 1: in your sleep. We're getting to talking to your sleep
• 16:18
Speaker 1: here in just a minute, because there was a story
• 16:20
Speaker 1: about this woman who beat up her girlfriend because she
• 16:23
Speaker 1: was talking in her sleep about her axe. But I
• 16:26
Speaker 1: had this weird dream where I was like, it was
• 16:28
Speaker 1: a crazy dream. It was like my grandmother was there
• 16:32
Speaker 1: and she was like a person. I could see her
• 16:35
Speaker 1: popping in and out of doors and whenever. And then
• 16:37
Speaker 1: like my grandfather was holding me down, but it wasn't
• 16:40
Speaker 1: my grandfather. It was just some sort of entity or something.
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: And I was I wasn't scared. I wasn't There was
• 16:50
Speaker 1: just no stress or fear or nothing. But what happened
• 16:53
Speaker 1: was I couldn't move at one point. Then I thought,
• 16:55
Speaker 1: you know what, let me call for help, just so
• 16:57
Speaker 1: someone will help me. And I kept saying oh, but
• 17:00
Speaker 1: in my in my mind, I'm trying to say help,
• 17:02
Speaker 1: but I can only get oh oh. And but the
• 17:05
Speaker 1: weird part about it was I was doing it in
• 17:06
Speaker 1: my dream, but it was almost like I could hear
• 17:09
Speaker 1: it in reality through my you know, my ears, and
• 17:11
Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, this is weird. And then I woke
• 17:14
Speaker 1: up and I was like, what was that all about?
• 17:16
Speaker 1: That was just weird? Good morning? How what's going on? Romeo?
• 17:19
Speaker 7: This is greater day?
• 17:19
  Speaker 4: What up?
• 17:20
  Speaker 2: Right to day?
• 17:21
  Speaker 6: Hey?
• 17:21
  Speaker 1: This?
• 17:21
Speaker 8: I got a story about the sleeping Sure, what's up?
• 17:24
Speaker 7: So over the weekend, you know, me and my girl
• 17:27
Speaker 7: were a partying, just me and her drinking and having
• 17:29
Speaker 7: patrolling some modelos. In the next morning, the first thing
• 17:34
Speaker 7: she does was she wakes up.
• 17:35
Speaker 8: She doesn't, Babe, give me some ice, and I'm thinking
• 17:39
Speaker 8: the worst. I'm like, maybe she fell.
• 17:41
Speaker 7: Maybe I was too rough with her.
• 17:44
  Speaker 1: And she's like, I.
• 17:45
Speaker 8: Said, why, what's wrong?
• 17:46
  Speaker 6: What you do?
• 17:47
Speaker 8: She says, I was beating some dass in my dream.
• 17:51
  Speaker 9: She got me.
• 17:52
Speaker 8: She got me, Romeo. I was all concerned, and she's like,
• 17:55
Speaker 8: I would in her hand.
• 17:56
Speaker 10: Did look like it was, you know, red?
• 17:58
Speaker 1: Oh my god, I don't know.
• 18:00
Speaker 8: I don't know how to explain that one. I was like, okay, well,
• 18:03
Speaker 8: put a cand put I gave her some prosen stuff
• 18:06
Speaker 8: to put on her hands.
• 18:07
  Speaker 1: That's weird.
• 18:08
Speaker 8: Well, yeah, it was weird, though, but she said she
• 18:10
Speaker 8: was fighting in her dream and she woke.
• 18:11
  Speaker 7: Up in her.
• 18:13
Speaker 1: Typical raider fan. All right, so this whole sleep thing, right,
• 18:19
Speaker 1: I was screaming in my sleep or yelling in my
• 18:22
Speaker 1: sleep in my dream, and I think I was yelling outside.
• 18:25
Speaker 1: I think you could hear it. But my uh my,
• 18:31
Speaker 1: my chick didn't wake me up, didn't do nothing. So
• 18:34
  Speaker 1: maybe I maybe I was just I don't know. It
• 18:36
Speaker 1: was weird. It was weird. I don't know. Talking in
• 18:39
Speaker 1: your sleep. I remember the story of this girl got
• 18:41
Speaker 1: beat up or something for talking in her sleep about
• 18:43
Speaker 1: her ex or something like that. Talking in your sleep? Though,
• 18:47
Speaker 1: Have you ever slept with somebody. I've been sleeping with
• 18:49
Speaker 1: somebody and they started making noises or talking in their sleep,
• 18:52
Speaker 1: and don't you wake them up? She isn't that the
• 18:53
Speaker 1: first thing you should do? I mean, what, what? What?
• 18:58
Speaker 1: What do you do? Already? Four to Bob for seven
• 19:00
Speaker 1: and seven A Romeo happens to me all the time,
• 19:02
Speaker 1: so I'm used to it. I just turn around and
• 19:04
Speaker 1: go back to sleep. It's been happening since I was
• 19:06
Speaker 1: a teenager. Wow, what's going on?
• 19:09
  Speaker 5: Morning morning Romeo?
• 19:10
  Speaker 6: Right around here?
• 19:11
Speaker 5: What's going on, Red Rob, Hey man, that's the same
• 19:14
Speaker 5: thing I'd be going through. But the thing is, though,
• 19:17
Speaker 5: the only reason why that happens to me is because
• 19:19
Speaker 5: I'm you know, I'm focused on something, I'm doing it,
• 19:21
Speaker 5: and then when I go to bed, I try to
• 19:23
Speaker 5: shut everything down and I can't happen. And I noticed
• 19:26
Speaker 5: too that when I overeat at night sheeese, I open
• 19:30
Speaker 5: up four and pass all kinds of weird dreams.
• 19:34
  Speaker 1: It's crazy.
• 19:35
  Speaker 9: See.
• 19:35
Speaker 1: Now, I have heard of people having anxiety when they overeat,
• 19:40
Speaker 1: but I've never yeah, I've never. And I've heard people
• 19:45
Speaker 1: say that they can't move in their dreams or they
• 19:49
Speaker 1: can't move and they wake up and they can't move,
• 19:50
Speaker 1: but I've never had that happen before. It was just weird.
• 19:53
Speaker 5: Yeah, that's happened to me a couple of times. And
• 19:55
Speaker 5: I remember the reasons for all that is because back then,
• 20:00
Speaker 5: in a stressful relationship, you know, we was always tounching
• 20:03
Speaker 5: each other in our sheep supposedly really Yeah, it was
• 20:06
Speaker 5: crazy because we'd go to bed mad and then we
• 20:09
Speaker 5: just like we'd forget about everything, but in our minds
• 20:12
Speaker 5: we were still mad. So we I feel myself moving
• 20:15
Speaker 5: and jumping, jerking, getting choked, getting punched.
• 20:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, Ray, Rob, you Raider fans even fight in your sleep.
• 20:22
  Speaker 5: I'm telling you. Don't fight everybody. I think it's not
• 20:25
  Speaker 5: from access me.
• 20:27
Speaker 1: That's awesome. I had this crazy dream where like I
• 20:33
Speaker 1: was being held down and I was trying to scream
• 20:36
Speaker 1: for help. But it wasn't like out of fear. It wasn't.
• 20:38
Speaker 1: It was just help, right, And it says coming out
• 20:41
Speaker 1: as help. I'm like, huh h, and but I could
• 20:45
Speaker 1: hear myself saying it in the dream, but then it
• 20:47
Speaker 1: felt like I was hearing it in reality, that makes
• 20:50
Speaker 1: any sense. And then I just woke up because I
• 20:53
Speaker 1: thought that was weird already four two five, four or
• 20:55
Speaker 1: seven and seven it's going on, Yeah, what's up?
• 21:00
Speaker 11: Why are you telling you regards to your dreams?
• 21:02
Speaker 12: Oh, so I was remembering that, like so a couple
• 21:07
Speaker 12: of years ago, I'm going to say, like ten years ago,
• 21:08
Speaker 12: when me and my husband first you know, were together
• 21:11
Speaker 12: and we have moved in together.
• 21:14
Speaker 11: He would have those dreams a lot where like he
• 21:15
Speaker 11: will talk about that he couldn't like wake up, that
• 21:18
Speaker 11: he was like not moving and it would happen all
• 21:21
Speaker 11: the time. And I remember taking a course on like
• 21:24
Speaker 11: the state of mind and like the subconsciousness stuff like that, okay,
• 21:28
Speaker 11: and it talks about like when you're about to sleep,
• 21:31
Speaker 11: there's like different stages of how your like body and
• 21:34
Speaker 11: mind like shut off and stuff. And it talks about
• 21:37
Speaker 11: like that when you're like when you're having all the
• 21:39
Speaker 11: stressful days, so there's like a lot going on. Your
• 21:43
Speaker 11: body is like physically tired, and but your mind is
• 21:46
Speaker 11: still going. So at some point when you're about to sleep,
• 21:49
Speaker 11: your body's out, but your mind is still going. So
• 21:52
Speaker 11: like we're like reality and like what's not real kind
• 21:56
Speaker 11: of get like into like you know they make Yeah,
• 22:00
Speaker 11: and that's how people start getting those dreams. When my
• 22:03
Speaker 11: husband was having those dreams, he were he was working
• 22:06
Speaker 11: like a warehouse, did you know where. He was sad
• 22:08
Speaker 11: and he was always tired. So when he came home
• 22:11
Speaker 11: he would like knock out, but he would like his
• 22:14
Speaker 11: mind was so fine because he had so much like
• 22:16
Speaker 11: things to do with the the next day. And so
• 22:19
  Speaker 11: I think, I think that's what's going on. Like there's
• 22:21
Speaker 11: probably you know, like these going on the mind and
• 22:24
Speaker 11: then the body just like you know what, I'm just.
• 22:26
Speaker 1: Out, gotcha. That would make some sense. I was exhausted
• 22:29
Speaker 1: at that also, so maybe you're right. You might be
• 22:32
Speaker 1: right about that. All right, Hey, thanks for calling.
• 22:35
Speaker 11: Okay, we'll have a good day.
• 22:36
Speaker 1: He too, I mean I was exhausted a room. Sounds
• 22:40
Speaker 1: like you were getting a long time A long time coming.
• 22:42
Speaker 1: Ask whooping from your grandparents. No, my grandparents would have
• 22:48
Speaker 1: never whoop my ass. I was the best grandchild ever.
• 22:51
Speaker 1: They loved me to death already fourteen five four seven
• 22:55
Speaker 1: the seven your rome. I have a question for you
• 22:58
Speaker 1: about tipping. I just found out that I was looking
• 23:01
Speaker 1: at their steep from last night. My wife and I
• 23:03
Speaker 1: went out with some friends to a restaurant and we
• 23:05
Speaker 1: got a separate bill. When I paid the bill, I
• 23:09
Speaker 1: left the tip. When I got home. I actually was
• 23:12
Speaker 1: looking at the bill and I saw that the tip
• 23:15
Speaker 1: was already included, and the waitress didn't tell me that,
• 23:19
Speaker 1: so I ended twice. Don't you think that's a scam? Room.
• 23:24
Speaker 1: I don't know what to do about it. I think
• 23:25
Speaker 1: I should go back to the restaurant and try to
• 23:28
Speaker 1: get my money back from the tip. No, I mean,
• 23:34
  Speaker 1: I don't think it's a scam. I'm gonna guess this
• 23:35
Speaker 1: is what I'm gonna guess happen just based on what
• 23:37
Speaker 1: you said. You said you went out with some friends
• 23:41
Speaker 1: the and the tip was already on the bill. I
• 23:44
Speaker 1: don't think it was a scam. What I think it
• 23:47
Speaker 1: was was you probably had most restaurants anybody over, what
• 23:51
Speaker 1: is it six people? I believe, I think it's six
• 23:54
Speaker 1: people at the table. Then they automatically include the tip
• 23:57
Speaker 1: to the bill. So I'm gonna guess that's what happened.
• 24:03
Speaker 1: And that's pretty standard, pretty common practice nowadays at a restaurant.
• 24:07
Speaker 1: After a certain amount of people, they add the tip
• 24:10
Speaker 1: to the bill, which I don't have a problem with,
• 24:12
Speaker 1: especially the only reason I have a problem with it
• 24:14
Speaker 1: only happened to me one time. But this was years ago,
• 24:17
Speaker 1: where they added the tip to the bill because we
• 24:19
Speaker 1: had a big party and the service was awful because
• 24:22
Speaker 1: they knew they were already getting their tip. Now, I've
• 24:24
Speaker 1: never had that happen before. It only happened one time.
• 24:27
  Speaker 1: But I don't think it's a scam. I think it's
• 24:32
Speaker 1: just that that policy and if your service was good,
• 24:35
Speaker 1: but the problem is not the restaurant, it's you. You
• 24:41
Speaker 1: should have paid attention that the tip. I know what
• 24:44
Speaker 1: you're thinking right, it's only the two of the bill
• 24:47
Speaker 1: is just you and your wife, So why would you
• 24:50
Speaker 1: why would they add the tip? But you were in
• 24:52
Speaker 1: a big party, I'm guessing because you said you went
• 24:54
Speaker 1: out with friends, so your party probably exceeded whatever number
• 24:57
Speaker 1: of the restaurant has to put the tip directly on
• 25:01
Speaker 1: the bill, and you know you just didn't pay attention
• 25:04
Speaker 1: to the bill till today. So no, I don't I
• 25:06
Speaker 1: don't think you should get your money back. I don't
• 25:08
Speaker 1: think you should go to the restaurant. I don't think
• 25:10
Speaker 1: you should chalk it up as as them trying to
• 25:15
Speaker 1: scam you. I think you just gotta take the l
• 25:17
Speaker 1: on that one. You didn't pay attention to what was
• 25:20
Speaker 1: going on. You pay you added another tip thinking you
• 25:23
Speaker 1: know it is what it is. You should have read
• 25:26
Speaker 1: the bill right, and that's what it is, though, But
• 25:30
  Speaker 1: I don't think that. I don't think they were trying
• 25:32
Speaker 1: to scam you by any means. What was the what
• 25:35
Speaker 1: was the tip? I'm gonna guess by the way that
• 25:37
Speaker 1: whatever percentage they were adding to your bill as a
• 25:42
Speaker 1: tip is probably less than what you were really going
• 25:44
Speaker 1: to give them if they hadn't added that. I'm just guessing. So, yeah,
• 25:50
Speaker 1: that's probably what happened. So a guy he texted me
• 25:52
Speaker 1: and I guess he was out with his wife and
• 25:54
Speaker 1: some prints last night. He said he didn't realize he
• 25:58
Speaker 1: double tipped, and and what I think happened. And I'm
• 26:01
Speaker 1: just going off what he's saying. I'm assuming what happened.
• 26:06
Speaker 1: Most restaurants, anything over a certain amount of people, they
• 26:09
Speaker 1: will include the tip, which is fine, that's their policy.
• 26:13
Speaker 1: There's nothing really wrong with that. But he ended up
• 26:16
Speaker 1: tipping again and then he saw it. He said he
• 26:20
Speaker 1: saw it the next day, he saw the bill which
• 26:22
Speaker 1: had the tip already included, and then he added a tip,
• 26:25
Speaker 1: and he thought he was getting scammed. And I don't
• 26:28
Speaker 1: think it's a scam. I think you just weren't paying attention.
• 26:30
Speaker 1: You got to pay attention to your bill. Okay, he
• 26:32
Speaker 1: wasn't paying attention to his bill. And apparently I'm going
• 26:36
Speaker 1: to guess there was more than probably six people at
• 26:38
Speaker 1: his table, or six or more people. That's usually what
• 26:40
Speaker 1: the common practice is. And I don't think they were
• 26:44
Speaker 1: scamming you. I think you just didn't pay attention to
• 26:46
Speaker 1: your bill that the tip was already included. So it
• 26:50
Speaker 1: is what it is man chalking up as Hey, I
• 26:52
Speaker 1: pay attention to your bill next time. Already for seven
• 26:55
Speaker 1: seven year Rome. You were talking about the tipping. You
• 26:59
Speaker 1: don't think that it's unreasonable for restaurants to add of
• 27:03
Speaker 1: the tip to the bill after a certain amount of people.
• 27:07
  Speaker 1: I don't think that's unreasonable. I think it's bs if
• 27:11
Speaker 1: they don't give you good service because they know they're
• 27:14
Speaker 1: already getting a tip. And to be perfectly honest with you,
• 27:17
Speaker 1: most of the places that i've seen that do that,
• 27:21
Speaker 1: or the places that i've been that do that, the
• 27:24
Speaker 1: percentage that they're asking or the percentage that they add
• 27:28
Speaker 1: on to me is not even really enough for a tip,
• 27:34
Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. But you got to do something.
• 27:36
Speaker 1: I mean, it gets big tables or a pain in
• 27:40
Speaker 1: the ass. Man, when you go out with a group
• 27:42
Speaker 1: of people, I feel kind of bad. I don't like
• 27:45
Speaker 1: going out with large groups of people because when the
• 27:49
Speaker 1: bill comes, it's a pain in the ass. And ray
• 27:51
Speaker 1: to robbal though he's probably listening, he goes out with
• 27:53
Speaker 1: a huge family every I think they go out to
• 27:55
Speaker 1: breakfast every Sunday or whatever, and I don't know how
• 27:58
Speaker 1: they deal with their bill. But he'll tell us. But
• 28:03
Speaker 1: it gets to be a painting. I don't like going
• 28:04
Speaker 1: out with more than two people because it turns into
• 28:09
Speaker 1: just a headache, you know, with the bill. Oh, we'll
• 28:12
Speaker 1: take separate bills. I think nowadays, with these electronic electronic
• 28:17
Speaker 1: devices that they use for calculating your bill, I think
• 28:20
Speaker 1: it's easier for the waitress or waitress or the weight
• 28:23
Speaker 1: staff to deal with it. But as a customer with
• 28:27
Speaker 1: a large group, everybody wants to. I mean, it's just
• 28:31
Speaker 1: a pain in the add How much did you spend?
• 28:33
Speaker 1: How much did I spend? How are we splitting the
• 28:35
Speaker 1: bill equally or do we do? I mean, it's just
• 28:37
  Speaker 1: you know why I didn't order this and I didn't
• 28:39
Speaker 1: order that. I didn't order that much. He ordered way
• 28:41
Speaker 1: more than me, so you know, it just gets to
• 28:44
Speaker 1: be monotonous and it gets to be a headache. So
• 28:48
Speaker 1: I can understand why a waiter or a weight staff
• 28:51
Speaker 1: would want to add the percentage to a bill for
• 28:53
Speaker 1: large parties. I don't even like dealing with large parties.
• 28:56
Speaker 1: I don't know how you guys split up. I will
• 28:58
Speaker 1: find out what Rayder Rob does. But sometimes it's easier
• 29:01
Speaker 1: just to pay for everything. Just to get out of
• 29:03
Speaker 1: there and not deal with it. But you know, not
• 29:06
Speaker 1: everybody can afford it. I can't afford it. So a
• 29:08
Speaker 1: guy he had sent me a text message saying he
• 29:10
Speaker 1: was out last night with his wife and some friends
• 29:13
Speaker 1: and apparently they got a bill just him and his wife. Well,
• 29:16
Speaker 1: he didn't realize that there was the tip was already added,
• 29:20
Speaker 1: so he tipped again, and he thought maybe he was
• 29:23
Speaker 1: getting scammed. I don't think you were getting scammed by
• 29:25
Speaker 1: the restaurant. I think you didn't pay attention to your bill.
• 29:28
Speaker 1: So what I think happened is there was probably more
• 29:30
Speaker 1: than whatever number the restaurant says you have to have
• 29:35
Speaker 1: to already add the tip. You just didn't pay attention,
• 29:38
  Speaker 1: So I don't I don't think it's a scam, but
• 29:40
Speaker 1: you know, dealing with the bills is ridiculous when you
• 29:43
Speaker 1: go out with multiple people a four two, five four
• 29:46
Speaker 1: or seven to seven eight Good morning Rome. Always look
• 29:49
Speaker 1: at your receipt to verify everything. The only thing I
• 29:52
Speaker 1: don't like is the kioks you pay through want you
• 29:56
Speaker 1: to tip on top of taxes added, example, one hundred dollars.
• 30:00
Speaker 1: You know Kiosk will do twenty percent tip on after taxes,
• 30:06
Speaker 1: generating extra dollars sixty five? Do you have to do
• 30:09
Speaker 1: they a kiosk makes you tip? Why don't you just
• 30:14
Speaker 1: deny the tip? Or is that I never seen that before.
• 30:17
  Speaker 1: I don't go to places. It's very rare that I've
• 30:20
Speaker 1: ever gone to a place where you get where you
• 30:24
Speaker 1: order it a kiosk, So I don't know they automatically
• 30:27
Speaker 1: put the tip in there. I've never seen that before.
• 30:29
Speaker 1: You're gonna have to explain that one a little more
• 30:31
Speaker 1: already four two five, four or seven to seven. So
• 30:34
Speaker 1: how do you deal with a bill with multiple people
• 30:37
Speaker 1: are tipping? I don't know. A guy was telling me.
• 30:39
Speaker 1: He just texted me and he said he went out
• 30:41
Speaker 1: with his wife last night, was from friends, and when
• 30:43
Speaker 1: he looked at the receipt the next day for his bill,
• 30:46
Speaker 1: I guess he had tipped. But then he didn't realize
• 30:49
Speaker 1: that they had already put the tip included the tip
• 30:52
Speaker 1: in his bill. So he thought maybe that he was
• 30:55
Speaker 1: getting scammed. And I don't think he was getting scammed.
• 30:57
Speaker 1: What I think happened was he there was probably more
• 31:02
Speaker 1: it's usually six people. He's probably more than six people
• 31:04
Speaker 1: at the table. Even though him and his wife got
• 31:06
Speaker 1: his own bill. You're still you're still a bigger party.
• 31:10
Speaker 1: So they added the tip to your bill. I don't
• 31:12
Speaker 1: think there's anything wrong with that. If that's what they
• 31:14
Speaker 1: tell you they're going to do, then you can make
• 31:15
Speaker 1: the decision on whether you're going to be there or
• 31:17
Speaker 1: not stay. So he paid, didn't pay attention, and that's
• 31:24
Speaker 1: that you know already fourteen five, four or seven to seven. Hey, Rome,
• 31:30
Speaker 1: what you're saying doesn't make any sense. If him and
• 31:33
Speaker 1: his wife, who were two people, got their own bill,
• 31:37
Speaker 1: why would they put the tip in? It wasn't more
• 31:40
Speaker 1: than six. As you said, Well, look if you have
• 31:47
  Speaker 1: a party of That's why I said I hate going
• 31:49
Speaker 1: out with multiple people to paying the bill, because some
• 31:54
Speaker 1: people want to get their own bill. Some people want
• 31:57
Speaker 1: to get there, you know, want to split it equally.
• 31:59
Speaker 1: Some people want to calculate exactly how much they spent
• 32:03
Speaker 1: versus you know, how much they ate and what their
• 32:05
Speaker 1: bill is. And then so anyway back to your question,
• 32:09
Speaker 1: you don't get it because even if you have more
• 32:13
Speaker 1: than six people, and I'm just using that as the
• 32:16
Speaker 1: bar of when they include the tip at the restaurant,
• 32:19
Speaker 1: a party's over six. Even if you have six or
• 32:22
Speaker 1: more people and everybody gets a separate bill. It's still
• 32:25
Speaker 1: a table of six, you know, So you got to
• 32:29
Speaker 1: understand that eight four two five four or seven to seven. Hey, roam.
• 32:34
Speaker 1: What I hate is when we all go out as
• 32:36
Speaker 1: a big family, as a party, the people that only
• 32:39
Speaker 1: want to pay for what they they got, but they
• 32:43
Speaker 1: don't include the tip in that. Oh yeah, that happens.
• 32:47
Speaker 1: So when it comes to going out and eating in
• 32:50
Speaker 1: large groups with low with large groups of people, right,
• 32:52
Speaker 1: they add a tip, which is no big deal. But
• 32:54
Speaker 1: you got to pay attention to Some guy thought he
• 32:56
Speaker 1: got scammed because he went out with a large group.
• 32:58
Speaker 1: Him and his wife got their own bill, got looked
• 33:00
Speaker 1: at the bill and saw that the tip was already added,
• 33:03
Speaker 1: and he tipped again with that. But that's on you
• 33:05
Speaker 1: for not paying attention. All right, good morning, hop it's
• 33:08
  Speaker 1: going on?
• 33:08
Speaker 4: What's the seahawk glue?
• 33:10
  Speaker 1: Man?
• 33:12
  Speaker 3: Hey Rome?
• 33:13
Speaker 6: So one way I avoid that auto tipping thing is
• 33:21
  Speaker 6: is that as.
• 33:22
Speaker 4: Soon as I get there, I tell them we're all
• 33:24
Speaker 4: paying separate bills. So whenever you get your bill, you
• 33:28
Speaker 4: don't get auto tipped.
• 33:29
Speaker 9: You know what I mean?
• 33:30
Speaker 1: What do you mean auto tip? What do you mean,
• 33:32
Speaker 1: do you mean if if there's more than whatever number
• 33:35
Speaker 1: of people at the table.
• 33:37
Speaker 4: Yeah, so say it's six of us, there's gonna be
• 33:40
Speaker 4: Oh those two people are paying for themselves. Us to
• 33:43
Speaker 4: paying for ourselves, And so when the bill.
• 33:46
Speaker 6: Comes for only me and another person, I don't get
• 33:50
Speaker 6: that trip automatically just because the party's more than tricks.
• 33:55
Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know where that where you're getting away
• 33:57
Speaker 1: with that at. But I've never seen that happen.
• 33:59
Speaker 10: But okay, yeah, no, that's.
• 34:01
Speaker 4: A better way to get away with that.
• 34:02
Speaker 6: And then you tip them accordingly whether they earned it
• 34:06
  Speaker 6: or not.
• 34:07
Speaker 1: Phil, I'm not arguing with you. I just have never
• 34:09
Speaker 1: seen that happen. Every time I've been out and people
• 34:11
Speaker 1: have gotten separate bills, they've always added the tip based
• 34:14
Speaker 1: on how many people were at the table. So, okay,
• 34:17
  Speaker 1: I don't know where you're going, but okay, I don't
• 34:20
Speaker 1: know where that's happening at all. Right, it for five
• 34:24
Speaker 1: for seven seven? Would you send me here?
• 34:28
  Speaker 5: Rome?
• 34:29
Speaker 1: Oh, this is the kiosk right on the one hundred dollars meal.
• 34:31
Speaker 1: The kiosk. It gives you an option fifteen, eighteen or
• 34:34
Speaker 1: twenty or other. If you click twenty if you click
• 34:38
Speaker 1: twenty percent, it has you tip rather than it has
• 34:42
Speaker 1: you tip one hundred.
• 34:43
  Speaker 6: Oh.
• 34:43
  Speaker 1: I see what you're saying. I see what you're saying.
• 34:47
Speaker 1: They're not forcing you to tip. They're just letting giving
• 34:50
Speaker 1: you the tip after the taxes. So that adds a
• 34:53
Speaker 1: little extra to icye what you're saying now, I thought
• 34:56
Speaker 1: you were going to some kiosk where they were forcing
• 34:58
Speaker 1: you to tip. Are already adding it on. I see
• 35:03
Speaker 1: what you're saying. Alrighty four, two, five, four or seven seven? Yeah,
• 35:06
Speaker 1: but you can always do the math yourself, right, Hey,
• 35:09
Speaker 1: good morning Rome. Yes, it's true. You usually put it
• 35:13
Speaker 1: in front of the restaurant. Uh, they usually put it
• 35:18
Speaker 1: in front of the restaurant. We went to clad Addie
• 35:20
Speaker 1: Seafood in taff And in small words, it says, if
• 35:25
Speaker 1: there's a party of six or more, a tip will
• 35:27
Speaker 1: be added at the end of the receipt when pain Yeah,
• 35:30
  Speaker 1: I don't think there's a problem with that, do you.
• 35:32
Speaker 1: I don't think that's an If they put it up
• 35:34
Speaker 1: there and you know what you're getting yourself into, then
• 35:36
Speaker 1: you get you you know, that's your option to decide
• 35:38
Speaker 1: whether you want to go there or not. But you
• 35:41
Speaker 1: got to pay attention. I mean you don't want to
• 35:43
  Speaker 1: double tip.
• 35:43
Speaker 2: Right, What my question is what restaurant in wasco I
• 35:49
Speaker 2: was more than six people exactly.
• 35:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, I see how Glue doesn't know what the hell
• 35:58
Speaker 1: he's talking about. But okay, already for Tuva or seven
• 36:02
Speaker 1: to seven when it comes to the bill, right, I
• 36:05
Speaker 1: mean you got to pay attention. Good morning, what's going on? Romeo?
• 36:09
  Speaker 6: Here?
• 36:10
  Speaker 4: What rom for?
• 36:11
Speaker 10: Somebody? Sorry about that you hung up on me? Okay,
• 36:13
Speaker 10: but check it out. It's like every time me and
• 36:16
Speaker 10: my family, but we do a big breakfast on every
• 36:18
Speaker 10: other Sunday. And the thing is with that, you got
• 36:21
Speaker 10: to go to places that recognize you. When you start
• 36:23
Speaker 10: going to there and you leave tips, gig tips, they
• 36:26
Speaker 10: don't put the decruity or what do you call it
• 36:28
  Speaker 10: on there?
• 36:29
Speaker 1: Well you get it. Yeah, yeah, but I noticed.
• 36:31
Speaker 10: That you go to the new places, they put the
• 36:33
Speaker 10: highest one on you. So it's like twenty percent or
• 36:35
  Speaker 10: more than that.
• 36:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean a lot of You're right about that.
• 36:39
Speaker 1: You got to go to places. I only go to
• 36:41
Speaker 1: places that I know the owners and I know what
• 36:45
Speaker 1: what their policies are, and you know, when you go
• 36:47
Speaker 1: there regularly, you're absolutely right about that, you know.
• 36:50
Speaker 10: So it's just it's just the places you choose, you know,
• 36:54
Speaker 10: the ones that respect their customers more, you know, they
• 36:56
Speaker 10: don't go for the big kids.
• 36:58
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's you're right, you're right, And Rob,
• 37:02
Speaker 1: who pays the bill? Rob? When you guys go on,
• 37:04
  Speaker 1: everybody splits it.
• 37:06
Speaker 10: Yeah, we usually split it sometimes if I'm feeling generous,
• 37:08
Speaker 10: it's either me or my uncle.
• 37:09
Speaker 5: We'll do it, you know, gotcha, but got there's more
• 37:12
Speaker 5: than thirteen people every time we go. So it's it's a.
• 37:14
Speaker 1: Big big I can imagine. I can imagine, all right, Rob.
• 37:20
Speaker 1: But you know, when you go to places like I
• 37:22
Speaker 1: like to, you just got to pay attention to your bill,
• 37:27
Speaker 1: you know. And if and if the restaurant has a
• 37:29
Speaker 1: policy that you don't like, I'm gonna tell you right now,
• 37:32
Speaker 1: there's not a restaurant in town that I know of
• 37:37
Speaker 1: that their food is so good it's worth paying some
• 37:40
Speaker 1: ridiculous you know, seating fee or some ridiculous whatever. All
• 37:44
Speaker 1: the restaurants that I go to, uh, they have pretty
• 37:47
Speaker 1: solid business practices, so you don't have to worry about
• 37:49
Speaker 1: that nonsense, you know. Oh, it's all, it's all. It's
• 37:53
Speaker 1: Valentine's Day, So we got a Valentine's Day charge, or
• 37:56
Speaker 1: you gotta we charge you extra for sending in the restaurant,
• 37:58
Speaker 1: or rapidityp will have nowadays to try to nickel and
• 38:02
Speaker 1: dime you. So yeah, you just got to pay attention
• 38:05
Speaker 1: to your bill, alrighty four two four seven seven romeo?
• 38:10
Speaker 1: Is it by Is it lawful to pay the tip
• 38:14
Speaker 1: on the receipt? Is it unlawful to pay the tip
• 38:17
  Speaker 1: on the receipt? I don't know. I don't know. I
• 38:20
Speaker 1: don't know what it is. I mean, I really don't know,
• 38:23
Speaker 1: because I don't deal with stuff like that very much.
• 38:27
Speaker 1: I don't All the places I go to in Bakersfield
• 38:29
Speaker 1: on a regular basis are like I said, they're just
• 38:33
Speaker 1: pretty legitimate there. They're people that live in Bakersfield, they're
• 38:36
Speaker 1: local owners. They don't do a bunch of nonsense. So
• 38:38
  Speaker 1: I don't really know. So I don't really deal with
• 38:42
Speaker 1: that stuff a whole lot, and I don't really deal
• 38:44
Speaker 1: with a whole lot in a lot of places. To
• 38:46
Speaker 1: be honest with you, I don't remember ever having you know,
• 38:50
Speaker 1: I think it's pretty common practice for groups over six
• 38:53
Speaker 1: to have UH for them to add a tip right
• 38:57
Speaker 1: would you say, here, yo, Rome, when I tip, I
• 39:01
Speaker 1: tip based on group size and how they're group over.
• 39:04
Speaker 1: Almost the waitress is fine peace and has given me
• 39:09
Speaker 1: the look in special treatment, then she's definitely getting the tip.
• 39:13
Speaker 1: Oh god, you're an idiot. Yeah, a room complaining about
• 39:20
Speaker 1: uh pain at a restaurant, you might as well stay
• 39:24
Speaker 1: home and cook your own damn food. Well, I don't
• 39:28
  Speaker 1: think anybody's complaining right now. I mean people, I don't
• 39:31
Speaker 1: think anybody's complaining about pain at a restaurant. I think
• 39:34
Speaker 1: they're complaining about all of the deceitful things that restaurants
• 39:39
Speaker 1: have done since COVID and have allowed and are allowed
• 39:43
Speaker 1: to get away with, you know, like all these surcharges,
• 39:46
Speaker 1: Like they have surcharges. When's the restaurant ever had a
• 39:49
Speaker 1: surg charge? They used to be very simple, it was
• 39:53
Speaker 1: price of the meal, tax tip. Now they got surcharges
• 39:57
Speaker 1: if you go on a holiday surcharge is if you,
• 40:00
Speaker 1: you know, eat inside the restaurant, surcharges to pay for straws.
• 40:04
Speaker 1: I mean, it's ridiculous some of the deceitful things that
• 40:06
Speaker 1: restaurants do, you know, which I can understand people complaining
• 40:10
Speaker 1: about that. But this guy was just talking about the tip,
• 40:12
  Speaker 1: which wasn't the restaurant's fault. I don't think. I think
• 40:15
Speaker 1: they just added the tip because it was a big party.
• 40:17
Speaker 1: He wasn't paying attention when he looked out his bill,
• 40:19
Speaker 1: so he tipped again. It is what it is already,
• 40:24
Speaker 1: four to two four or seven seven. Hey, rom you
• 40:28
Speaker 1: were talking about going out to going out to eat
• 40:31
Speaker 1: and dealing with the bill with a group of people.
• 40:36
Speaker 1: What's the most annoying person you deal with when you
• 40:39
Speaker 1: go out with large groups and it comes to paying
• 40:42
Speaker 1: the bill. Oh, that's a good question. The most annoying
• 40:47
Speaker 1: person or couple to go out with and when the
• 40:50
Speaker 1: bill comes. Oh that's a good question. Let me think
• 40:53
Speaker 1: about it a second. Talking about the bill, right, when
• 40:55
Speaker 1: you go onto a restaurant with a group of people
• 40:58
Speaker 1: and they add the tip already, which is fine, You
• 41:03
Speaker 1: just got to make sure you don't double tip. And
• 41:04
Speaker 1: the guy called or texted earlier and said he did
• 41:07
Speaker 1: that he thought he was getting scammed. But I think
• 41:09
Speaker 1: he just didn't pay attention to his bill, he wonder, Romeo.
• 41:12
Speaker 1: I think the only reason this guy is complaining about
• 41:14
Speaker 1: the tip is probably because it's the first time he's
• 41:17
Speaker 1: had to pay the bill for a party of six,
• 41:20
Speaker 1: and who in the hell doesn't look at the receipt
• 41:22
Speaker 1: before they're paid. Well, no, the thing was the reason
• 41:26
Speaker 1: why he wasn't paying attention. I think is because him
• 41:30
Speaker 1: and his wife got a separate bill. He said he
• 41:32
Speaker 1: went out with a group of people. Him and his
• 41:34
Speaker 1: wife got a separate bill, then the rest of the group.
• 41:37
Speaker 1: So he assumed, you know, I guess probably in his
• 41:40
Speaker 1: mind he didn't realize that he's still considered a party
• 41:43
Speaker 1: of six or more. I think that's what happened. I'm
• 41:46
Speaker 1: just guessing based on what he told me. So that's
• 41:48
Speaker 1: not it is what it is already for two or
• 41:55
Speaker 1: seven to seven. I do like the question though, that
• 41:59
Speaker 1: somebody just ask me, and that was, who is the
• 42:03
Speaker 1: most annoying couple or the most annoying person when the
• 42:08
Speaker 1: bill comes? When you go out in a group of people,
• 42:10
Speaker 1: you've all done it for birthdays, anniversaries, friend groups. I mean,
• 42:14
Speaker 1: you guys all get together for something, and who is
• 42:18
Speaker 1: the most annoying person when the bill comes? Somebody asked
• 42:25
Speaker 1: me that I would have to say, it's gonna sound
• 42:31
Speaker 1: really horrible, but but it's in a negative. It's not
• 42:35
Speaker 1: in a negative way. I mean a big boy. Big
• 42:39
Speaker 1: boy drives me insane. I can go out with big
• 42:42
Speaker 1: Boy and have lunch and pay the bill, or he'll
• 42:46
Speaker 1: pay the bill, but just to him and I, but
• 42:48
Speaker 1: in a large group, his wife makes him pay the bill,
• 42:52
Speaker 1: and so you can't and you can't even get big boy.
• 42:55
Speaker 1: I went out one time, we would all we all
• 42:57
Speaker 1: went out one time and even handed the waiter the
• 43:02
Speaker 1: credit card. Sit here, don't let him pay. Guess what.
• 43:06
Speaker 1: Somehow he bamboozled, bamboozled me still, but I know it's
• 43:10
Speaker 1: his wife. His wife makes him pay. So anyway, he's
• 43:13
Speaker 1: the best. If you guys ever get a chance to
• 43:14
Speaker 1: go take your whole family out with Big Boy and
• 43:16
Speaker 1: his family, his wife will make him pay, So go
• 43:18
Speaker 1: out with him. But that's that's the part with it.
• 43:21
Speaker 1: And I have another buddy who I've been going every
• 43:23
Speaker 1: week with the soccer games, and there's been a group
• 43:26
Speaker 1: and we order a lot. You know, we've been watching
• 43:28
Speaker 1: three or four hours, hanging out drinking, and he won't
• 43:30
Speaker 1: let you pay the bill. Just these guys, there's some
• 43:32
Speaker 1: of those guys get a little annoyed. Come on, man,
• 43:35
Speaker 1: let me pay the bill once you know, not that
• 43:37
Speaker 1: you know, I have a lot of money, and but
• 43:39
Speaker 1: you know, you want to hook your friends up. You
• 43:41
Speaker 1: want to make sure that everybody you know, you take
• 43:43
Speaker 1: care of them because they take care of you, right.
• 43:46
Speaker 1: But I don't know who is the most annoying person
• 43:48
Speaker 1: when it comes to you going out with uh with
• 43:52
Speaker 1: a big group, whether be friends or family. What is
• 43:54
Speaker 1: the most annoying Who's the most annoying person when it
• 43:58
Speaker 1: comes to the bill. Let's talk a little bit about
• 44:00
Speaker 1: going out, going out to eat with friends with family.
• 44:03
Speaker 1: Let's talk about the bill when the bill shows up?
• 44:06
Speaker 1: Who's the most annoying person you're with? What do they
• 44:08
  Speaker 1: always do? I mean, like I said, I have a
• 44:11
Speaker 1: lot of really good friends. So and they make decent money,
• 44:16
Speaker 1: so the money's never really an issue when they go out.
• 44:19
Speaker 1: The problem is they always want to pay because they're
• 44:23
Speaker 1: just good hearted people. And you try to pay and
• 44:27
Speaker 1: they'll be like, no, no, get me next time. How
• 44:29
Speaker 1: many times I heard get me next time?
• 44:30
  Speaker 3: You try?
• 44:31
Speaker 1: And then they're like it's just you know, it gets
• 44:33
Speaker 1: annoying after a while because they're your friends, right, Sometimes
• 44:36
Speaker 1: you want to pay for your friends already four two, five,
• 44:38
Speaker 1: four or seven to seven. A lot of you have
• 44:40
Speaker 1: a different situation, right yo, rom I can't stand when
• 44:46
Speaker 1: I get invited by a girl to a family get
• 44:48
Speaker 1: together or a friend get together and she expects me
• 44:51
Speaker 1: to pay, Like, why the hell did you invite me?
• 44:54
Speaker 1: I don't even know these people. I'm just your plus one.
• 44:57
Speaker 1: We're already having sex, so no benefit. It's there. Girl.
• 45:00
Speaker 1: You better break bread or I'll just pay, or I'll
• 45:04
Speaker 1: just pay for my meal. I'm kidding, Rome. I still
• 45:06
Speaker 1: pay the bill, but it irritates me, and I'm not
• 45:09
Speaker 1: gonna lie. I actually don't disagree with you on that.
• 45:13
Speaker 1: I mean, I usually if you get invited somewhere to
• 45:18
  Speaker 1: a gathering or to a get together, to a you're
• 45:21
Speaker 1: the plus one. I don't think you should pay. Yeah,
• 45:24
Speaker 1: I don't. I actually agree with you on that, to
• 45:27
Speaker 1: be honest, Come on, your help, what's going on?
• 45:30
Speaker 8: You ain't never get met nobody and knowing like monk taddy.
• 45:34
Speaker 9: Like my cut. We'll go restaurant next to restaurant, they'll
• 45:39
Speaker 9: pay for the meal, just dipped and all that right
• 45:42
Speaker 9: for that day that's on a Friday, and then we'll
• 45:45
Speaker 9: be expecting you to pay for all of his stuff
• 45:48
Speaker 9: Saturday and Sunday morning.
• 45:53
  Speaker 1: Every time.
• 45:55
Speaker 9: Oh you got to say nothing. When I bought dinner,
• 46:00
Speaker 9: dinner was only like two hundred and thirty bucks. Broug,
• 46:04
  Speaker 9: you're taking.
• 46:05
Speaker 8: A two hundred and thirty dollars like a man.
• 46:08
Speaker 1: I uh, you know. It's funny because a few years ago,
• 46:13
Speaker 1: all right, we went on a golf weekend and with
• 46:17
  Speaker 1: this new cat, and I didn't I didn't really know
• 46:19
Speaker 1: him all that well, but he was always uh trying
• 46:23
Speaker 1: to pay for breakfast and I couldn't figure out. I
• 46:26
Speaker 1: was like, why is this dude? It was two days,
• 46:27
Speaker 1: three days, and every morning he paid for breakfast and
• 46:32
Speaker 1: then he would he wouldn't offer at dinner for drink.
• 46:36
Speaker 1: You're right. He wanted to pay the cheapest meal of
• 46:38
Speaker 1: the day and then sponge off everybody else the rest
• 46:42
Speaker 1: of the day. It was a lot. I didn't. It
• 46:44
Speaker 1: took me a while to figure it out, but I
• 46:45
Speaker 1: thought it was fuck.
• 46:47
Speaker 9: It didn't take me a long time to figure that out.
• 46:50
Speaker 9: And he has the same routine. Who turns out of
• 46:54
  Speaker 9: the mud.
• 46:57
Speaker 1: That's funny, that's hilarious. Later man already seven to seven,
• 47:03
Speaker 1: Like I said, when it comes to paying the bill,
• 47:06
Speaker 1: and you're doing it in large groups. Who's the most
• 47:07
Speaker 1: annoying person in your life? So when it comes to
• 47:10
Speaker 1: you guys going out with your friends, with your family
• 47:12
Speaker 1: and a group of people, how do you guys handle
• 47:16
Speaker 1: the bill? Who is the most annoying person to deal
• 47:19
Speaker 1: with when the bill comes? What do they do? What
• 47:22
Speaker 1: are you not? What's going on?
• 47:23
  Speaker 4: What's thrown?
• 47:24
  Speaker 5: Seahaw glue?
• 47:24
Speaker 1: Man, but I'm blue.
• 47:26
  Speaker 6: Hey, I have a friend, man, I know he's listening.
• 47:29
Speaker 4: His name is Mike.
• 47:31
  Speaker 1: She's out.
• 47:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, every time we go out to eat, dude, like
• 47:37
Speaker 3: he'll look at the paper, the little receipt, and he'll
• 47:39
Speaker 3: look at the menu or he has for a menu
• 47:42
Speaker 3: so you can compare prices.
• 47:44
Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's embarrassing.
• 47:48
  Speaker 4: Eye.
• 47:49
Speaker 6: He's caught it like twice, like, oh no, this place
• 47:52
  Speaker 6: is eleven.
• 47:53
Speaker 5: Ninety nine and they charged me twelve ninety.
• 47:55
Speaker 6: Nine And I'm like, bro.
• 47:56
  Speaker 10: It's a dollar.
• 47:57
Speaker 8: Just say you know what I mean?
• 48:00
Speaker 6: The menus probably as old as a restaurant. He'll complain,
• 48:07
Speaker 6: man like, can I get this change because the menu?
• 48:11
  Speaker 1: Wow?
• 48:12
Speaker 3: Well yeah, I hate that man.
• 48:16
  Speaker 1: Oh that's hilarious. That's hilarious.
• 48:19
Speaker 4: Well yeah, I mean, he pays, but he's like, come on, bro,
• 48:24
Speaker 4: why you gotta add it up in your calculator phone?
• 48:27
Speaker 5: You know, like it's already added up.
• 48:29
Speaker 1: Does he include tipp or does he just add up
• 48:31
Speaker 1: what he what he got?
• 48:33
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he'll do it.
• 48:35
  Speaker 2: Good service, just.
• 48:36
Speaker 7: Like that's he'll do it sick.
• 48:37
  Speaker 1: But that's hilarious.
• 48:40
Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, here comes this bill.
• 48:41
Speaker 7: He's gonna do it again.
• 48:42
Speaker 5: I know he is, all right, that's erasing man.
• 48:46
Speaker 1: Right later, man, I'm sure he's glad you called right already?
• 48:51
Speaker 1: Four two, five, four, seven and seven? So when you
• 48:54
Speaker 1: go out with friends with family, who's the most annoying
• 48:57
Speaker 1: person when the bill comes? So when you're out with friends,
• 49:00
Speaker 1: when you're out with family, who is the most annoying
• 49:03
Speaker 1: person when the bill comes? The one that wants to
• 49:06
Speaker 1: split it all equally and you didn't order anything, or
• 49:10
Speaker 1: the one that wants to add it all up with
• 49:13
Speaker 1: their calculator, the one who stiffs you. I mean, how
• 49:16
Speaker 1: does that work? Already? Four two, five, four or seven? Seven? Hey, Rome,
• 49:22
Speaker 1: it's my wife. Rome is the most annoying because when
• 49:25
Speaker 1: I go out I don't want to have to discuss,
• 49:29
Speaker 1: argue or question the bill, So I just kind of
• 49:32
Speaker 1: go with the flow, and if I end up paying more,
• 49:35
Speaker 1: I end up paying more. My wife does not like
• 49:38
Speaker 1: that because she knows that her family takes advantage and
• 49:43
Speaker 1: she really gets upset at me because I'm just kind
• 49:45
Speaker 1: of an easy going guy and we can afford it,
• 49:49
Speaker 1: so I don't really care so much. My wife always
• 49:53
Speaker 1: make sure that she itemizes the entire bill, who got what,
• 49:58
Speaker 1: and then she adds the t hip for everybody on
• 50:01
Speaker 1: what it's supposed to be. It kind of embarrasses me.
• 50:04
Speaker 1: You would think I would have been would have gotten
• 50:07
Speaker 1: used to it by now, but I still haven't. Because
• 50:11
Speaker 1: when we go out with friends, everybody just chips in
• 50:14
Speaker 1: more than they're supposed to. So nobody pays attention. It's
• 50:19
Speaker 1: no big deal and she doesn't care. It's just with
• 50:21
Speaker 1: her family. Well, I mean, if you guys are I mean,
• 50:26
Speaker 1: that's the other thing that you have to think about.
• 50:29
Speaker 1: When you are in a family where you've you know,
• 50:33
Speaker 1: you're a little bit more successful than the rest of
• 50:35
Speaker 1: the family, especially if you were port first and then
• 50:37
Speaker 1: then to come up, and they will try to take
• 50:40
Speaker 1: advantage of you, especially if they think you have more money.
• 50:44
Speaker 1: I mean, we have. I have family members like that,
• 50:46
Speaker 1: but and they will try to take advantage of you know,
• 50:50
Speaker 1: whoever has the most money or makes the most money
• 50:53
Speaker 1: should pay, which is ridiculous. Or you know already four two, five,
• 50:58
Speaker 1: four or seven seven than yo Rome the most annoying
• 51:02
Speaker 1: person in my friend group we go out. He's the
• 51:05
Speaker 1: one that always invites everybody, tries to get everybody together,
• 51:09
Speaker 1: and then when the bill come doesn't have enough to
• 51:12
Speaker 1: cover his ends, so we have to cover him. Well,
• 51:17
Speaker 1: stop going out when he invites you, Stop going out?
• 51:20
Speaker 1: What are you talking about already? Boar to bab or
• 51:24
Speaker 1: seven to seven. Look, everybody's got a pain in the air.
• 51:27
  Speaker 1: I'm trying to think. I don't. I just don't. I mean,
• 51:31
Speaker 1: I might be the only one that has a friend
• 51:35
Speaker 1: or family group that I go out and eat with
• 51:38
Speaker 1: that I never have a problem other than the fact
• 51:41
Speaker 1: that everybody's always trying to pay. Gosh, I just can't.
• 51:47
Speaker 1: But I think most of you have an annoying person
• 51:50
Speaker 1: in your group, somebody who's either trying to take advantage
• 51:52
Speaker 1: of you when they go out with you, somebody who
• 51:55
Speaker 1: just you know, doesn't want to pay. They're just trying
• 51:59
Speaker 1: to take advantage right, whether it be friends or family,
• 52:02
Speaker 1: and when the bill comes, who's the most annoying person
• 52:06
Speaker 1: and what do they do? Hey, Rome, I just want
• 52:11
Speaker 1: to tell you the most annoying person in my family
• 52:13
Speaker 1: when we go out for family functions is my brother.
• 52:17
Speaker 1: My oldest brother is so cheap and whenever we go out,
• 52:21
Speaker 1: he tries to get out of paying the bill. When
• 52:23
Speaker 1: the bill comes, Me and my dad, my other brother,
• 52:27
Speaker 1: we all pull out our credit cards trying to figure
• 52:30
Speaker 1: it out. He will never pull out his credit card
• 52:33
Speaker 1: until we ask him to, or until we tell him
• 52:36
Speaker 1: how much he owes. He will sit there in hopes
• 52:39
Speaker 1: that somebody else pays the bill before he has to,
• 52:48
Speaker 1: or at least pay his portion of the bill. Uh.
• 52:54
Speaker 1: I've actually seen that happen before. I've ever been sitting
• 52:57
Speaker 1: at a table to people and the bill gets there
• 53:00
Speaker 1: and you can see everybody you whether whoever's there's will
• 53:04
Speaker 1: reach for their purse or their wallet, or they'll start
• 53:06
Speaker 1: to reach and they'll there'll be somebody that doesn't even move,
• 53:11
Speaker 1: doesn't budge, keeps talking like they didn't even see the bill,
• 53:14
Speaker 1: and they try to avoid not make eye contact with
• 53:18
Speaker 1: the bill. Yeah, I've been at a table with those people.
• 53:21
  Speaker 1: I don't know them. There were people I didn't know.
• 53:23
Speaker 1: I've gone out with people that you know, your friend
• 53:26
Speaker 1: will bring somebody. But yeah, I've seen that happen and
• 53:29
Speaker 1: then somebody has to tell them. Oh, I mean, it
• 53:36
Speaker 1: can get it can get annoying. You know, there are
• 53:38
Speaker 1: people out there that just some people shouldn't be going out.
• 53:42
Speaker 1: I mean, let's just put it to you like that,
• 53:44
Speaker 1: if you can't afford to go out, you shouldn't be
• 53:46
Speaker 1: going out, you know. I mean, it's just one of
• 53:48
Speaker 1: those things already. Four two five four or seven to seven.
• 53:52
Speaker 1: So when you're out, when you're out with friends, when
• 53:54
Speaker 1: you're out with family, what do you do with the bill? Hey, roam.
• 53:59
Speaker 1: I'm one of those guys that doesn't like to pay
• 54:01
Speaker 1: a big bill. So when I go out with my friends,
• 54:04
Speaker 1: I always get the first round. By the time the second, third,
• 54:10
Speaker 1: or fourth come around, everybody's a little tipsy and they
• 54:14
Speaker 1: start to open up their pocketbooks. So I try to
• 54:17
Speaker 1: pay the smaller bill so I don't have to pay
• 54:20
Speaker 1: the bigger bill. That's pretty funny. Well, at least you
• 54:26
Speaker 1: admit it. At least you admit it, all right, E
• 54:28
Speaker 1: fourteen five four seven to seven who's the most annoying
• 54:31
Speaker 1: person when it comes to the bill. You know, you
• 54:34
Speaker 1: go out with friends and family. Who's the one that
• 54:36
Speaker 1: tries to get over the most? Hey, good morning Rome.
• 54:40
Speaker 1: Most annoying is bro that says, let me get more beer.
• 54:44
Speaker 1: And when anyone goes and anyone got ten on it,
• 54:49
Speaker 1: he is at the bathroom for ten minutes. Oh that's hilarious,
• 54:58
Speaker 1: all right? For five for seven to seven year rom
• 55:02
Speaker 1: Let me tell you what happened one time. Me and
• 55:04
Speaker 1: my sister are both married. Well, I'm married, she's been
• 55:11
Speaker 1: with her man for more than ten years. For my
• 55:14
Speaker 1: parents' fortieth wedding anniversary, we decided to all go to Vegas.
• 55:20
Speaker 1: So we go out to this real expensement in the
• 55:22
Speaker 1: win and when the bill comes, my sister and I
• 55:26
Speaker 1: are supposed to split it for my parents because we're
• 55:31
Speaker 1: taking him out to dinner for their anniversary. Her we
• 55:36
Speaker 1: call him our brother, I call him my brother in law,
• 55:39
Speaker 1: but he's really just my sister's boyfriend of ten years.
• 55:43
Speaker 1: He says, Hey, I don't have any cash on me.
• 55:46
Speaker 1: Would you mind getting the bill and I'll pay you back.
• 55:54
Speaker 1: How many of you know that guy? I don't have
• 55:57
Speaker 1: any cash on me, I'll pay you later. Yeah, so
• 56:03
Speaker 1: he says, I'll pay you back, Romeo. It took me
• 56:06
Speaker 1: almost three months to get the money out of him
• 56:09
Speaker 1: for that dinner. I did get it, but he didn't.
• 56:12
Speaker 1: He but I don't think he was ever gonna pay
• 56:15
Speaker 1: me back. Oh yeah, that's funny, hey, rome What bothers
• 56:20
Speaker 1: me is when we go out with our friends who
• 56:24
Speaker 1: have kids, and the kids will order a full meal
• 56:28
Speaker 1: and not eat it all, and then we end up
• 56:31
Speaker 1: paying for it. Now, my wife and I we have
• 56:33
Speaker 1: kids as well, but I make sure that my kids
• 56:35
Speaker 1: eat what they order or order something small off the
• 56:38
Speaker 1: kids menu. But we have friends that go out and
• 56:41
Speaker 1: their small kids order off the regular menu, and then
• 56:45
Speaker 1: I end up paying because we just split the bill equally.
• 56:49
  Speaker 1: Well that's yeah, I get that. Yeah, but that's that's
• 56:54
Speaker 1: just your mentality because you you know, now you're a
• 56:57
Speaker 1: married man with kids things. I get it. I get it, man.
• 57:01
Speaker 2: I've had to chime in on this. So I have
• 57:03
Speaker 2: a friend, same friend talking about splitting bills and stuff.
• 57:07
Speaker 2: First time we go to the drive through sh order,
• 57:11
Speaker 2: So when they came to pay her things, she's like,
• 57:13
Speaker 2: she only hands over three dollars. I was like, yo,
• 57:15
Speaker 2: it was like twelve bucks. She's like, oh, this is
• 57:18
Speaker 2: all I got. I was like, then watch order so much.
• 57:21
Speaker 2: Second time around, you know, I buy her something and
• 57:24
Speaker 2: I came back said, hey, it's seven dollars. She's like, oh,
• 57:27
Speaker 2: I only got a twenty. Okay, then give me the
• 57:29
Speaker 2: twenty and oh you you over fourteen dollars, you know.
• 57:34
Speaker 2: And last time then, this was the last last time
• 57:36
Speaker 2: we go out and eat. You know, we were just
• 57:38
Speaker 2: having to drinks. But she was hungry. She wanted appetizers
• 57:41
Speaker 2: and stuff, and I'm like, all right, cool, but you're
• 57:43
Speaker 2: paying for it, you know, come come. You know, at
• 57:46
Speaker 2: the end of the night, we're all buzzy, the bill comes,
• 57:48
Speaker 2: She's like, all right, let's split it.
• 57:50
Speaker 10: All right, we split it.
• 57:51
Speaker 2: And then afterwards they were likee wait, I just paid appetizer,
• 57:54
Speaker 2: said I didn't need after that, done done, done done.
• 58:00
Speaker 1: That's funny. Well it only took you getting got three
• 58:04
Speaker 1: times before you figured it out.
• 58:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, and not not for a lot.
• 58:13
Speaker 1: Maybe he was trying to get some Hey you want
• 58:15
Speaker 1: to roam gil Rod shreuping from Ballejo, California. I have
• 58:19
Speaker 1: a friend that would always say I forgot my wallet
• 58:22
Speaker 1: when we would go out for beers on One of
• 58:25
Speaker 1: the bartenders called him out one time when she heard
• 58:29
Speaker 1: him say that. She said, oh, you're one. You're one
• 58:33
Speaker 1: of those guys. Huh. He was all embarrassed. Well, he
• 58:35
Speaker 1: should be. Forgot my wallet? All right? What'd you send
• 58:40
Speaker 1: me here? Hey, Roam? I got a question for you
• 58:43
Speaker 1: about paying the bill. It has nothing to do with,
• 58:47
Speaker 1: you know, sharing the bill. But my wife's parents, my
• 58:51
Speaker 1: in laws, every time we go out to dinner, lunch, breakfast,
• 58:56
Speaker 1: whatever the case may be, they in fact me to pay. Now, Rome,
• 59:02
Speaker 1: check this out. I make good money, but I don't
• 59:06
Speaker 1: think I should always be paying for her parents. My
• 59:10
Speaker 1: wife kind of feels the same way about it, but
• 59:13
Speaker 1: she won't say anything to her parents. She just lets
• 59:16
Speaker 1: me pay the bill and then we complain about it
• 59:18
Speaker 1: together on the car ride home. What do you think
• 59:24
Speaker 1: about that, Rome, I think that her parents think I
• 59:27
Speaker 1: have more money than I do. Yeah, that's a good question.
• 59:33
Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, what are you supposed to
• 59:36
Speaker 1: do when it comes to that. I mean, I I
• 59:40
Speaker 1: don't know. I don't have parents like that. My parents
• 59:43
Speaker 1: are My parents still pay for us when we go
• 59:47
Speaker 1: out to dinner, we pay. They think it's still their
• 59:48
Speaker 1: responsibility to pay for us kids when we go out,
• 59:52
  Speaker 1: So I don't I don't know. I mean that's a
• 59:57
Speaker 1: Do your in laws have the money to pay and
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: they just don't want to because they think you have more?
• 1:00:02
Speaker 1: Do they feel like they owe you? Does her dad
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: even offer? I mean, how does that work? I mean,
• 1:00:07
  Speaker 1: there's a lot of I guess I don't know. Your
• 1:00:09
Speaker 1: wife needs to I guess you need to handle that
• 1:00:12
Speaker 1: with your wife apparently. Yeah. I don't even really know
• 1:00:15
Speaker 1: what to tell you about that. That's about a tough
• 1:00:17
Speaker 1: situation to be in, right. I want to ask you
• 1:00:19
Speaker 1: a question about being married. My girl and I have
• 1:00:23
Speaker 1: been together for six years. We got married two years ago,
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: and I noticed that I don't get as much sex
• 1:00:32
Speaker 1: as I used to before we got married. Now people
• 1:00:34
Speaker 1: have told me that marriage changes things. I didn't believe them. Rome,
• 1:00:38
Speaker 1: What do you think should I have never gotten married
• 1:00:41
Speaker 1: to her and just stayed dating her? No? Come on, now,
• 1:00:46
Speaker 1: marriage isn't the problem. You know, who knows what's going
• 1:00:50
Speaker 1: on with your sex life. It could be you not
• 1:00:52
Speaker 1: being romantic enough anymore, getting complacent. It could be heard
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: you've got kids or do you got stresses? I mean,
• 1:00:58
Speaker 1: what's going on there is not a problem. A lot
• 1:01:00
Speaker 1: of people think marriage is the reason that things change,
• 1:01:05
Speaker 1: and it's not really kids. Having kids is more of
• 1:01:11
Speaker 1: a reason for things changing in your relationship than marriage.
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: I think, right already four two, five, four or seven
• 1:01:17
Speaker 1: and seven of you changed after getting married? Is marriage
• 1:01:21
Speaker 1: the problem? Him and his wife been married a couple
• 1:01:25
Speaker 1: of years, they've been together six before they got married.
• 1:01:28
Speaker 1: He said he's getting less sex, and he says people
• 1:01:30
Speaker 1: had told him that marriage not to get married because
• 1:01:34
Speaker 1: things would change after marriage. I mean, I don't think
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: it's actually the idea of marriage that changes somebody. I
• 1:01:42
Speaker 1: think it's the idea of your long term relationship. You
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: get complacent. I mean, how many people do you know
• 1:01:48
Speaker 1: that have been together for ten twenty years and aren't married,
• 1:01:53
Speaker 1: but yet still act like they're married and still have
• 1:01:56
Speaker 1: the same issues or problems as married couples. I mean,
• 1:02:00
Speaker 1: it's more of a longevity thing than it is a
• 1:02:03
Speaker 1: marriage thing, right already, four two, five, four or seven? Seven? Hey, Romeo,
• 1:02:09
Speaker 1: I just want to tell you about the marriage thing.
• 1:02:11
Speaker 1: From my experience, what I see is once women get married,
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: they know that they got you, they can take half
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: your stuff. They have more control, so they will take
• 1:02:22
Speaker 1: advantage of you. The guy is absolutely right. Marriage is
• 1:02:27
Speaker 1: not a good thing because women know what they can
• 1:02:30
Speaker 1: get and they stop doing the things that women did.
• 1:02:34
Speaker 1: They stop doing the things that women do before marriage
• 1:02:39
Speaker 1: because they know they don't have to do it anymore.
• 1:02:47
Speaker 1: That's a good question. Are the things that your wife
• 1:02:49
Speaker 1: did before you got married that she won't do now?
• 1:02:54
Speaker 1: But are the things that guys did before? I mean,
• 1:02:58
Speaker 1: basically it goes both ways, right, Are the things that
• 1:03:01
Speaker 1: you did before that you don't do now because you're
• 1:03:04
Speaker 1: married and you feel like you don't have to do
• 1:03:07
Speaker 1: those things anymore. That's probably a good question. I guess.
• 1:03:12
  Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, I'm not one of those
• 1:03:15
Speaker 1: guys that has a problem with marriage. I think marriage
• 1:03:17
Speaker 1: is fine. I just I think people get complacent with
• 1:03:22
Speaker 1: each other and they don't do as much as they
• 1:03:26
Speaker 1: should for each other. And I think that's more of
• 1:03:29
Speaker 1: a longevity thing than a marriage thing. But marriage takes
• 1:03:32
Speaker 1: the blame for it. You just blame it on marriage.
• 1:03:35
  Speaker 10: I don't know.
• 1:03:35
  Speaker 1: That's a good question.
• 1:03:37
Speaker 13: Hey, Romeo, the last person that said that women just
• 1:03:42
Speaker 13: you know, marry a man to get money. Is he
• 1:03:46
Speaker 13: implying that all women are so down and out that
• 1:03:49
Speaker 13: we can't afford to provide for ourselves. That's complete, get
• 1:03:56
Speaker 13: married to us to get our I'm sorry, all right,
• 1:04:03
Speaker 13: all right, I make my own money. I don't need
• 1:04:06
Speaker 13: any man, just me.
• 1:04:08
Speaker 1: I'm good, Okay, thanks for gotting it. Well, there there
• 1:04:18
Speaker 1: you go. I she was just talking about guys who,
• 1:04:23
Speaker 1: uh who say that women need money and that's why
• 1:04:26
Speaker 1: they marry a man. Some women do, and some of women
• 1:04:28
Speaker 1: want to be married, which is fine, but she just
• 1:04:30
Speaker 1: says she don't need no man's money. And what about
• 1:04:32
Speaker 1: the guys that married for uh their money? I mean,
• 1:04:37
Speaker 1: people married for money. It happens, but marriage. I think
• 1:04:40
Speaker 1: the idea was when the guy called up and he said,
• 1:04:43
Speaker 1: are texting me, and he was talking about how he
• 1:04:46
Speaker 1: got married to his wife a couple of years ago.
• 1:04:48
Speaker 1: They've been married for six years in the sex life change,
• 1:04:52
Speaker 1: and he was blaming it all marriage. It seems to
• 1:04:54
Speaker 1: be that everybody, all of you, a lot of you,
• 1:04:57
Speaker 1: who have problems in your marriage. You the institution of marriage.
• 1:05:03
Speaker 1: It's not the institution of marriage's fault that you don't
• 1:05:06
Speaker 1: get enough sex, or you don't get this, or you
• 1:05:08
Speaker 1: guys aren't communicating. Well, it's not marriage that changed everything.
• 1:05:13
Speaker 1: It's just I think your relationship is different because you've
• 1:05:16
Speaker 1: been together so long and you're taking each other for
• 1:05:18
Speaker 1: granted and you just don't do the things that you
• 1:05:20
Speaker 1: did before you got married. You can't blame marriage already
• 1:05:24
Speaker 1: four two five four or seven to seven. Hey Romeo,
• 1:05:27
Speaker 1: I was married for twelve years and I got it
• 1:05:29
Speaker 1: almost every day when I wanted it, so not so No,
• 1:05:34
Speaker 1: it had nothing to do with marriage. We divorced because
• 1:05:38
Speaker 1: she cheated and got pregnant, and marriage didn't cause her
• 1:05:45
Speaker 1: to cheat, right, So yeah, you just guys got I mean,
• 1:05:50
Speaker 1: there's a lot of people out there that have a
• 1:05:52
Speaker 1: lot of negative things to say about marriage. And it's
• 1:05:56
Speaker 1: not marriage's fault. It's your fault for either marriage, being
• 1:06:00
Speaker 1: the wrong person, or not committing to the marriage. There's
• 1:06:05
Speaker 1: nothing wrong with marriage. It's fine.
• 1:06:07
Speaker 10: Hey Romeo, I just heard what's going on on the radio.
• 1:06:11
  Speaker 1: What's up?
• 1:06:12
Speaker 13: Hey, I just got a little opinion because I got
• 1:06:15
Speaker 13: you know, some people nowadays they be getting married hella young,
• 1:06:18
Speaker 13: but some of them forget there's a reason why our.
• 1:06:21
Speaker 6: Grandparents and parents used to back in the day do
• 1:06:24
Speaker 6: wedding renewals, vow renewals, you know, because they wanted to
• 1:06:27
Speaker 6: make sure that they wanted to stay together after you know,
• 1:06:31
Speaker 6: everyone develops over time, everyone changes.
• 1:06:33
Speaker 2: Over time, so that's like a recommitment thing.
• 1:06:36
Speaker 13: I still want to be married to this person instead
• 1:06:38
  Speaker 13: of cheating.
• 1:06:39
Speaker 4: Young just need to be one honest with each other.
• 1:06:42
Speaker 10: I myself was in a ten year marriage.
• 1:06:44
Speaker 9: You know, trust me, it wasn't the best thing in
• 1:06:47
Speaker 9: the world, narcissists whatever, but I never stepped out.
• 1:06:50
  Speaker 5: I never cheated.
• 1:06:51
Speaker 6: I said, okay, I'm done with the marriage.
• 1:06:53
Speaker 1: How old were you when you got married?
• 1:06:56
  Speaker 3: I was eighteen.
• 1:06:56
Speaker 13: That's why mine said, you know, people change over time.
• 1:07:00
Speaker 5: And then with the whole comment you know about.
• 1:07:02
Speaker 3: The you know, men and women wanting to be married
• 1:07:05
Speaker 3: for money, I also feel.
• 1:07:07
Speaker 13: Like, you know, it's not only the women who want
• 1:07:09
Speaker 13: to marry for money or men want to plan some money.
• 1:07:10
Speaker 4: They want to be taken care of.
• 1:07:12
Speaker 13: Sure, I don't think we had a whole grown my language,
• 1:07:15
Speaker 13: but I had a grown man, you know, who wanted
• 1:07:17
Speaker 13: me working two three jobs.
• 1:07:18
Speaker 10: While he stood home and did nothing, not even helping
• 1:07:21
Speaker 10: with the kids the house, working nothing.
• 1:07:22
Speaker 4: It still take me to come home and do all that.
• 1:07:25
Speaker 1: All right, Well, thanks for calling us. You know, it's
• 1:07:31
Speaker 1: funny there was a uh, it's kind of funny, man,
• 1:07:37
Speaker 1: you start talking about marriage, the curse words come out.
• 1:07:42
Speaker 1: She's kind of right though about the you know, renewing
• 1:07:44
Speaker 1: your vows. There was a sacrament of king. Player might
• 1:07:47
Speaker 1: have been Doug Christie. I think, if I remember correctly,
• 1:07:50
Speaker 1: they used to him and his wife, I believe, renewed
• 1:07:53
Speaker 1: their vows every year they had a wedding, a renewal ceremony.
• 1:07:59
Speaker 1: I don't know if that means anything, but she might
• 1:08:01
  Speaker 1: be right.
• 1:08:03
Speaker 13: Hey, Romeo, sorry about the curse words earlier.
• 1:08:06
  Speaker 1: Yes, it's okay.
• 1:08:08
Speaker 10: I need one last.
• 1:08:09
Speaker 13: Thing, is uh, I think that it's not the marriage
• 1:08:13
Speaker 13: because that's really literally just the receipt for the exchange
• 1:08:16
Speaker 13: of property. Sure back at the time, I mean really
• 1:08:19
Speaker 13: if you think about it, so, it's not the piece
• 1:08:22
Speaker 13: of paper that's getten in the way. It's people's attitudes
• 1:08:25
Speaker 13: or yeah, like you said, their actions. People change and
• 1:08:29
Speaker 13: people don't say the same forever. I'm not the same
• 1:08:31
Speaker 13: as I was when I was twenty, thank goodness.
• 1:08:33
Speaker 1: But let me ask you this question as it pertains
• 1:08:36
Speaker 1: to the paper, and I just thought about it when
• 1:08:38
Speaker 1: you said it's just a piece of paper, but it
• 1:08:41
Speaker 1: or a receipt. It is a receipt. Though that does say,
• 1:08:45
Speaker 1: like the person said that you got mad at who said,
• 1:08:48
Speaker 1: now you get half of his stuff. And if you're
• 1:08:51
  Speaker 1: a if you're a but if you're a woman out
• 1:08:53
Speaker 1: there who doesn't have as much as the guy, when
• 1:08:57
Speaker 1: you get married, she does get half of his stuff,
• 1:09:00
Speaker 1: but he gets half her stuff. I agree with you.
• 1:09:07
Speaker 1: I agree with you. I'm on your side, all right,
• 1:09:10
Speaker 1: thanks for calling, and I think she's right. But the
• 1:09:13
Speaker 1: idea that now I don't have to do as much
• 1:09:17
Speaker 1: because you know, I get half his stuff, and it
• 1:09:22
Speaker 1: goes both ways. He gets half your stuff too if
• 1:09:24
Speaker 1: you're if you got more money than him, so it
• 1:09:26
Speaker 1: does work both ways. But there could be a little
• 1:09:30
Speaker 1: bit of validities to the fact that now I got
• 1:09:32
Speaker 1: a paper that says I can take half your stuff.
• 1:09:34
Speaker 1: That makes you change your mind about your marriage and
• 1:09:37
Speaker 1: what you can or can't do. You know how many
• 1:09:40
Speaker 1: women have you ever met in your life that said, well,
• 1:09:43
Speaker 1: I don't have to do that sex thing anymore because
• 1:09:45
Speaker 1: now we're married, but we'll do it all day long
• 1:09:48
Speaker 1: when they're single. You know what I'm saying. So I
• 1:09:50
Speaker 1: don't know there is a little bit of truth to
• 1:09:54
Speaker 1: what the guy was saying though already four two five
• 1:09:57
Speaker 1: four or seven to seven everyone and stuff marriage, because
• 1:10:01
Speaker 1: all that really is is a piece of paper that
• 1:10:03
Speaker 1: clarifies the exchange of property aka the woman so needs
• 1:10:07
Speaker 1: to just do any anyway with blaming marriage. And that's
• 1:10:10
Speaker 1: how I always thought. I always thought, you're just blaming marriage,
• 1:10:13
Speaker 1: which is not real. But when she said receipt that,
• 1:10:19
Speaker 1: maybe that may be a different perspective when you look
• 1:10:22
Speaker 1: at it like that the morning
• 1:10:24
Speaker 5: Every morning morn ninety four point one
