  SPEAKER_01: So, let's begin today's journey.

  SPEAKER_01: I'm reading Proverbs 3 and Verses 5-7 from the ESV.

  SPEAKER_01: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

  SPEAKER_01: In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

  SPEAKER_01: Do not be wise in your own eyes.

  SPEAKER_01: Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

  SPEAKER_01: That's Proverbs 3.
• 1:26
  SPEAKER_01: Verses 5-7 in the ESV translation.

  SPEAKER_01: I'd like to share something I've learned the hard way.

  SPEAKER_01: And maybe you've seen it too or experienced it.

  SPEAKER_01: You know, there's no shortage of good wisdom in the world.
• 1:45
  SPEAKER_01: There are training programs,
• 1:47
  SPEAKER_01: certifications, professional development seminars, all types of helpful tools.
• 1:54
  SPEAKER_01: But you know there's a danger.
• 1:56
  SPEAKER_01: When that knowledge is divorced from godly wisdom, it can become a trap.

  SPEAKER_01: John Maxwell puts it this way,

  SPEAKER_01: quote, even good wisdom apart from the Lord can become a snare, end quote.

  SPEAKER_01: That quote stays with me because I've lived it.

  SPEAKER_01: In the early years of my career, I leaned heavily on sales training, and frankly, it worked.

  SPEAKER_01: I closed deals, I hit my numbers, and got the results I was trained to pursue.

  SPEAKER_01: But deep down inside, I knew something was missing.

  SPEAKER_01: I was using the tools to serve myself, not add significance to others.

  SPEAKER_01: It wasn't until I surrendered my work to the Lord that everything shifted.

  SPEAKER_01: I started asking God by way of His Holy Spirit how to use what I had learned.

  SPEAKER_01: I no longer saw my training and certifications as trophies,
• 3:06
  SPEAKER_01: but as tools to serve His other children.

  SPEAKER_01: In other words, add significance to others, God's other children, my spiritual siblings.

  SPEAKER_01: Now, that mind shift from leaning on my own understanding to acknowledging the Lord

  SPEAKER_01: in my work changed everything.

  SPEAKER_01: Transactions turned into relationships.
• 3:36
  SPEAKER_01: Goals became a mission.
• 3:39
  SPEAKER_01: And success became significance.
• 3:45
  SPEAKER_01: Remember my favorite quote,

  SPEAKER_01: success is what we do for ourselves, adding significance is what we do for others.

  SPEAKER_01: You see,
• 3:55
  SPEAKER_01: every micro decision we make in the marketplace,

  SPEAKER_01: how we serve,

  SPEAKER_01: how we lead,
• 4:04
  SPEAKER_01: how we add significance and apply what we've learned,

  SPEAKER_01: Ripples out into a macro influence.

  SPEAKER_01: The world doesn't need more skilled professionals.

  SPEAKER_01: It just needs more wise professionals.

  SPEAKER_01: So, let me ask you,

  SPEAKER_01: are you leaning on the trainer,

  SPEAKER_01: the certification, or are you leaning on the Lord by way of His Holy Spirit?

  SPEAKER_01: Today's customer success code is Training gives us tools.

  SPEAKER_01: Trust gives us direction.

  SPEAKER_01: Today's action points.

  SPEAKER_01: Action point number one, list it out.

  SPEAKER_01: What training certifications or professional tools are you using on a daily basis?

  SPEAKER_01: Action point number two, check the source.

  SPEAKER_01: Are you depending on the trainer, all of those things listed in action point number one?

  SPEAKER_01: Or are you leaning on the Lord by way of His Holy Spirit to guide you on how

  SPEAKER_01: to use those tools to add significance to others?

  SPEAKER_01: Action point number three is simply reframe your purpose.

  SPEAKER_01: Write down five ways you can use your knowledge to add significance to others,

  SPEAKER_01: not just accomplished tasks.
• 5:34
  SPEAKER_01: And action point number four, refocus the glory.

  SPEAKER_01: Who's getting the credit?
• 5:40
  SPEAKER_01: Your trainer?
• 5:42
  SPEAKER_01: Your talent?
• 5:43
  SPEAKER_01: Your certification?
• 5:45
  SPEAKER_01: Or your trust in God?
• 5:49
  SPEAKER_01: Lord, thank you for the training, experience, and education you've allowed me to gain.

  SPEAKER_01: But I give it all to you.

  SPEAKER_01: Please give me the wisdom to use it not just for success,
• 6:02
  SPEAKER_01: but for adding significance to your other children.
• 6:06
  SPEAKER_01: May I never lean on knowledge alone, but seek your Holy Spirit to guide every decision.

  SPEAKER_01: Please use me to serve and add significance to your other people well in the marketplace.

  SPEAKER_01: I ask Him to strengthen you by His Spirit, not a brute strength, but a glorious inner strength.
