  am making wagers. Time to put my money where my

  mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for

  April 14th, 2026. Reminder if you're one of those

  folks in the US but likes to pay their taxes, or even if you

  don't like to pay your taxes, but you actually pay your taxes

  or at least file them or at least file for an extension

  that's tomorrow. So one day left till tax day.

  So all right, last night worked out perfect for me, right?

  Got even money. Everybody else was expecting the

  over. I also got in late with some
• 0:50
  plus money on the under and man, worked out fine at 6 1/2.

  It ended at 3. Perfect, nice and easy.

  I'd say no sweat. But man hockey, my losses with

  totals this year have always come down to right there at the
• 1:05
  end where all of a sudden boom flurry of goals and things don't
• 1:09
  workout. But last night they did.

  So we're gonna keep that streak alive, see if we can stack some
• 1:14
  wins on top of each other. Tonight we got NBA playing
• 1:19
  games. I don't know if they're
• 1:20
  considering these technically part of the playoffs, but I'm
• 1:23
  not. I mean, if they're play in
• 1:25
  games, that means you're not in the playoffs yet because you're
• 1:27
  trying to play to get into the playoffs, right?
• 1:29
  So, But anyways, I'm looking at the one out east.

  We got the the Hornets taking on the heat.
• 1:36
  These two teams over the last month, basically going in
• 1:39
  opposite directions, Heat playing crappy, losing games
• 1:43
  that they should win. Hornets, on the other hand, have
• 1:45
  been playing well. They're the hot team, the team
• 1:49
  quote UN quote, nobody wants to face, even though most of the
• 1:52
  top teams are fine facing them and they'll beat them.
• 1:54
  But when it's a matchup like this, the Heat don't want to
• 1:57
  play them and the Heat are going to lose and everybody knows
• 2:00
  that. And so the Hornets 5 1/2 point
• 2:02
  favorites tonight, I think that's fine because this is what
• 2:05
  I think's going to happen. That whole heat culture
• 2:07
  mystique, I think that's done. I think that's kind of going to
• 2:10
  go by the wayside at some point. Charlotte's going to get up a
• 2:13
  bit and then the Heat, they're just going to throw in the
• 2:16
  towel. Not something that they normally
• 2:18
  do because of that whole heat culture thing, but just the way
• 2:20
  that they've been playing, the way that they know things,
• 2:23
  that's it. I think they're going to have a
• 2:24
  couple players quit on the team, not actually quit, but you know
• 2:27
  what I mean, just kind of give a half ass effort.

  And so I think Hornets, we end up winning by double digits.

  So that's where we're going. So tonight we're taking

  Charlotte, Hornets -5 1/2 against the Miami Heat and

  tonight's NBA basketball play in action.
