Tornado Hits Water Plant in Menasha | Green Bay News
An EF-3 tornado obliterated Menasha’s water plant, leaving eight workers stranded — but they escaped to a shelter just in time, watching the chaos unfold as trees crashed down and the roof collapsed. Now, the plant is completely offline, with critical systems destroyed, forcing the city to turn to Neenah for water. Residents should check their provider, as some areas remain under boil water advisories — and there’s no clear timeline for when the plant will reopen or if it’ll need to be rebuilt from scratch.
