Speaker 1: Hi, guys, welcome back to I Do Part two. It's
• 0:18
Speaker 1: your celebrity mentors Cheryl Burke and Jen Bessler back with you,
• 0:22
Speaker 1: and we have a lot to talk about. Last time
• 0:25
Speaker 1: we did this, we had a lot to talk about.
• 0:26
Speaker 1: I think this time we have maybe more right. It's
• 0:30
Speaker 1: just like always something happening in the world of divorce
• 0:32
  Speaker 1: and breakups.
• 0:34
Speaker 2: Always it's it never gets old, does it?
• 0:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, it never gets old and always fun to talk about,
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: especially with you.
• 0:41
Speaker 2: Good to see you again, Good to see you always.
• 0:44
Speaker 2: I hope to see you in person one day.
• 0:46
Speaker 1: I know, right, I feel like we a little streams
• 0:49
Speaker 1: that we haven't met in person. It feels like we.
• 0:51
Speaker 2: Have I know. Should we talk about my partner?
• 0:54
  Speaker 3: Yes?
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: Please?
• 0:55
Speaker 2: So I danced with Ryan Lockede many many decades ago.
• 0:58
Speaker 2: It feels like though it wasn't It was probably just
• 1:00
Speaker 2: a decade ago. He obviously has gone through a divorce,
• 1:05
Speaker 2: not obviously, but for those that keep up with the Joneses,
• 1:08
Speaker 2: that's what's been happening over in Lockedy world and has
• 1:12
Speaker 2: now been a born again after a rocky year, which
• 1:16
Speaker 2: is great, like more power to him. I just I
• 1:19
Speaker 2: never saw signs of that when we were dancing together,
• 1:21
Speaker 2: not like you know, by the way, people can totally
• 1:24
Speaker 2: evolve and absolutely you know, turn to God when you've
• 1:27
Speaker 2: hit rock bottom, it happens a lot. Well, he had
• 1:29
Speaker 2: also just gotten out of rehab, yes, and that is
• 1:32
Speaker 2: something I actually just found out recently. I had no
• 1:35
Speaker 2: idea that he had such issues with substance abuse. Mind
• 1:40
Speaker 2: you you know, when I danced with him, I was
• 1:43
Speaker 2: not sober. So like we partied together a little bit,
• 1:46
Speaker 2: like we would go out, but I would kind of
• 1:48
Speaker 2: keep him on a tight leash because I'll never forget.
• 1:51
Speaker 2: We went to go to we went to Vegas and
• 1:54
Speaker 2: part of our package before you know, the stuff that
• 1:56
Speaker 2: they air prior to our dance, we had to learn
• 1:59
Speaker 2: from the Bellaggio show, oh from CIRCUSLA And so we
• 2:04
Speaker 2: had to go to Vegas for a weekend and my
• 2:07
Speaker 2: friends were there. Just it was a coincidence. We went
• 2:09
Speaker 2: out and I was like Ryan at two am, I was.
• 2:12
Speaker 4: Like, you better go back to your room. We've got
• 2:14
Speaker 4: camera blocking tomorrow. I don't want to smell alcohol on you.
• 2:17
Speaker 4: And supposedly for my friends, he pretended to go to
• 2:21
Speaker 4: his room and then was out till seven in the morning.
• 2:24
Speaker 4: I was so mad at him, but that was our relationship.
• 2:26
Speaker 4: We were like brothers sister.
• 2:28
  Speaker 3: Wow.
• 2:29
Speaker 1: Well, I mean listen, you can't say if he's if
• 2:32
Speaker 1: he's found God, God bless him. I guess he exactly did, right,
• 2:36
Speaker 1: I mean, he did a what is it called, uh
• 2:41
Speaker 1: just got baptized baptized. See, I'm sorry jewish, he just
• 2:44
Speaker 1: got back. But did he do it? Was it like
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: a whole thing.
• 2:47
Speaker 2: With wa Yeah, with water, yes, definitely. I mean he's
• 2:49
Speaker 2: a swimmer. Just kidding, kidding, okay, right. You know, he
• 2:53
Speaker 2: said that he loved sharing his life with his fans followers,
• 2:57
Speaker 2: but this divorced with Kayla, his ex wife, hasn't been
• 3:00
Speaker 2: necessarily a smooth ride. I mean, what divorce is at
• 3:03
Speaker 2: the end of the day. But they have issues, you know,
• 3:06
Speaker 2: obviously with custody. She does mention I guess in court
• 3:10
Speaker 2: that you know, he was suffering from substance abuse and
• 3:12
Speaker 2: she didn't want him around the kids. I mean it
• 3:15
Speaker 2: started to get I mean from the article that I read,
• 3:17
Speaker 2: I guess she mentioned that one time he was sniffing
• 3:20
Speaker 2: something in front of the kids and then was nervous
• 3:22
Speaker 2: that he was going to drive the kids. But obviously
• 3:25
Speaker 2: he denies that it's just a battle. I'm just grateful
• 3:29
Speaker 2: I never had kids.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, so I feel like specifically from men, but
• 3:36
Speaker 1: there's a lot of line after divorce, reinvention, you know
• 3:39
Speaker 1: what I mean, Like I had a lot of sort
• 3:41
Speaker 1: of I don't know this obviously the specifics here, but
• 3:45
Speaker 1: a lot of trauma. I mean is well, you do know,
• 3:48
Speaker 1: very traumatic, right they say it's like up there one
• 3:50
Speaker 1: of the top three. Absolutely no, right, So I guess
• 3:54
Speaker 1: some reach for alcohol and drugs. They want to reach,
• 3:59
Speaker 1: want to and good for him, he's reaching for God. Yeah,
• 4:03
Speaker 1: so right, So I don't know. I mean I also, well,
• 4:09
Speaker 1: I don't know. I also think that a lot of times.
• 4:11
Speaker 1: I hope it's not performative. I hope he means it.
• 4:13
Speaker 2: I wonder if he is dating somebody I believe, or
• 4:17
Speaker 2: is he engaged. I don't think he's engaged. Now he's dating.
• 4:19
Speaker 1: Somebody Molly Gilahan Gillahan.
• 4:22
Speaker 2: I wonder if maybe she's Christian, you know, you never know.
• 4:24
Speaker 2: I mean I hope that she's you know, whoever, It
• 4:27
Speaker 2: doesn't matter if she's Christian or not. Honestly, if she's
• 4:29
  Speaker 2: a great influence, that's a good sign. I mean, she
• 4:31
Speaker 2: also comes from. I think she has kids of her
• 4:33
Speaker 2: own as well. Have you ever had a spiritual awakening
• 4:37
Speaker 2: after a breakup or a divorce?
• 4:40
Speaker 1: Absolutely not my pattern. Let's see, well, because I've been
• 4:44
Speaker 1: you know, I've been married a while. But my pattern
• 4:47
Speaker 1: was always to throw myself into something to numbt and
• 4:49
Speaker 1: I never was smart enough to Thank God, I was
• 4:52
Speaker 1: more like you know other men who my father I
• 4:56
Speaker 1: used to say, it is a disgusting thing, And he
• 4:58
Speaker 1: said a lot of disgusting things, one of which was
• 5:01
Speaker 1: the only way to get over one person is to
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: get under another.
• 5:05
Speaker 2: Oh, I know, that's nasty. I mean my father was
• 5:08
Speaker 2: quite nasty as well. Yeah, my father was.
• 5:10
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 5:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, are we sure? Are we not sisters?
• 5:13
  Speaker 3: Oh?
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: I wish? But listen, I mean I think I I
• 5:16
Speaker 1: some way probably followed that advice, not quite as literally,
• 5:20
Speaker 1: but I always threw myself into stuff.
• 5:23
Speaker 2: More than it's an addiction, I think it's something as
• 5:26
Speaker 2: society today because we celebrate the hustle, and I think
• 5:29
Speaker 2: hustle just equals numbing because we're just constantly needing to
• 5:33
Speaker 2: stay busy and sitting in stillness is terrifying for I
• 5:37
Speaker 2: think a lot of people, but I for I mean
• 5:41
Speaker 2: for me, I definitely went. I did in a way,
• 5:45
Speaker 2: turned to transcendental meditation as soon as I split, like
• 5:48
Speaker 2: I needed and mind you, I was already looking into
• 5:51
Speaker 2: it prior. Obviously you've also been sober.
• 5:54
Speaker 1: You've been sober for a long time. So I'm seven
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: years old, so that's a long time. I mean you've
• 6:00
Speaker 1: assuming that that there's a big spiritual component.
• 6:02
Speaker 2: To your God. Yeah, it's it's absolutely that. You know,
• 6:05
Speaker 2: we hand you know, our lives to God and we
• 6:07
Speaker 2: you know, we have a higher power whether you want
• 6:10
Speaker 2: to call it God or not, but you know, there
• 6:13
Speaker 2: is that as far as the program goes, you know.
• 6:18
Speaker 2: But I felt like, especially during COVID, you know, I
• 6:23
Speaker 2: really dove into like all of these online courses, mental
• 6:27
Speaker 2: health courses. I signed up for so much. And I
• 6:31
Speaker 2: think it was just at that time though I was
• 6:33
Speaker 2: still doing Dancing with the Stars because the show still happened,
• 6:36
Speaker 2: but like there was something that I just wanted more of,
• 6:39
Speaker 2: and I think it was just spirituality. I never really
• 6:42
Speaker 2: I was born, I was baptized Catholic, my mother's Catholic,
• 6:46
Speaker 2: but I never really I didn't really want to sit
• 6:49
Speaker 2: up and stand up and stand up kidding.
• 6:52
Speaker 1: Well, you don't like exercise, right, you don't like to Yeah.
• 6:54
Speaker 2: No, I hate I hate it. I prefer just sitting
• 6:56
Speaker 2: my ass down on chairs. But anyway, no, I can
• 7:02
Speaker 2: just see it now. She hates Catholicism, like no, no, no, no, no,
• 7:07
Speaker 2: not going there, folks.
• 7:08
Speaker 1: This is a little bit I think. I mean, this
• 7:09
Speaker 1: is we're getting off un attention. But I just during COVID,
• 7:11
Speaker 1: I definitely was searching also, and a lot of Eckart toole.
• 7:17
Speaker 2: God, he puts me to sleep though bad voice.
• 7:19
Speaker 1: Oh his voice. I would take song walks and you know,
• 7:24
Speaker 1: and maybe you know, after something like this, I could
• 7:26
Speaker 1: like a divorce. That seems to be the healthiest way
• 7:29
Speaker 1: to go, right, Yeah, for sure.
• 7:31
Speaker 2: I mean I think it's all numbing at the end
• 7:33
Speaker 2: of the day, right, We're all numbing.
• 7:34
Speaker 1: Yes, okay. So apparently Russell Crowe is not interested in
• 7:39
Speaker 1: getting married again, did you? Apparently he was on sixty
• 7:44
Speaker 1: Minutes and he has his current girlfriend, Britney Theiro. I
• 7:47
Speaker 1: don't know if I'm saying that correctly, And there are
• 7:50
Speaker 1: rumors that they were getting engaged and he said no way, no, how.
• 7:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, I watched the interview. It was yeah, he's definitely.
• 7:57
Speaker 2: I mean he's sixty one, she's thirty three. Will it
• 7:59
Speaker 2: last for No, nothing's forever, period. But at the end
• 8:02
Speaker 2: of the day, you know, maybe if she wants to
• 8:04
Speaker 2: get married ten years from now.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: He seems to be pretty like firm with that. Oh yeah,
• 8:08
Speaker 1: with not getting married, right, not getting married?
• 8:10
Speaker 2: And honestly, I don't even know. People ask me all
• 8:13
Speaker 2: the time if I would ever get married again. I said, well,
• 8:14
Speaker 2: first I need to start dating. I mean, let's just
• 8:16
  Speaker 2: start there. But I don't know. I just think it's
• 8:20
Speaker 2: a contract that can get real messy, right, Like I
• 8:22
Speaker 2: don't think I think once you've been married.
• 8:25
Speaker 1: I'm positive. I'm not positive. But I would think that
• 8:27
Speaker 1: if he was going to marry this this much younger woman,
• 8:30
Speaker 1: he would be careful. I would think he would there
• 8:32
Speaker 1: would be an ironclad But that's I.
• 8:34
Speaker 2: Even go there, like, just don't get married. It's just
• 8:37
Speaker 2: like the uncomfortable conversations, especially if he doesn't. I mean,
• 8:40
Speaker 2: he seems to be in love with her.
• 8:41
Speaker 1: I don't know this woman, so this is all speculation. Dude,
• 8:44
Speaker 1: If you're thirty three and you're dating Russell Crowe, like,
• 8:47
Speaker 1: are you doing it just for the front of it.
• 8:50
Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe most thirty three year old women
• 8:54
Speaker 1: I know are there is some in the prime game
• 8:58
Speaker 1: in sight, right, but they also want you know, I
• 9:02
Speaker 1: think at least the ones that I know, not necessarily everyone.
• 9:05
Speaker 1: But now you're dating this older man and he's saying
• 9:08
Speaker 1: he doesn't want to get married ever, I have no
• 9:10
Speaker 1: idea what is going on with this thirty three I'm
• 9:14
Speaker 1: guessing very beautiful, smart, wonderful person. I don't know mom,
• 9:20
Speaker 1: her mom a little worried.
• 9:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, we also don't know. Maybe the mom
• 9:25
Speaker 2: promotes it like we don't know. What do you think?
• 9:27
  Speaker 3: Yes?
• 9:27
Speaker 2: But all I know is that that interview, that sit
• 9:29
Speaker 2: down interview with Russell Crowe. Actually it was interesting because
• 9:32
  Speaker 2: I've been a fan of his and I've seen a
• 9:33
Speaker 2: couple of his interviews. You could tell he's in a
• 9:35
Speaker 2: place in his life where one he's grateful for all
• 9:38
Speaker 2: the work that he's still able to get as a
• 9:41
Speaker 2: sixty one year old actor who's done this for so
• 9:43
Speaker 2: many years. He assumed that he was going to be
• 9:46
Speaker 2: out of the business by now, and he said that
• 9:48
Speaker 2: he's also it's great that he has boundaries now. As
• 9:52
Speaker 2: far as not saying yes to everything. You know, you
• 9:54
Speaker 2: can tell that his priorities have shifted, which I think
• 9:58
Speaker 2: for me at least through that interview, he comes across
• 10:00
Speaker 2: us a lot more happy, just happier and peaceful.
• 10:02
Speaker 1: Really, do you think he's hot?
• 10:04
Speaker 2: He was? Yeah, he was Gladiator and he was on
• 10:07
Speaker 2: that Wait what was the movie with a two personality?
• 10:10
  Speaker 2: What was it?
• 10:11
Speaker 1: Oh my god? No, the two persons you mean the one?
• 10:15
  Speaker 3: Yeah?
• 10:15
Speaker 1: No, he with the three personality. That's Paris.
• 10:18
Speaker 2: Hilton is not an original life. I know, a beautiful mind,
• 10:21
Speaker 2: a beautiful mind, beautiful mind.
• 10:23
Speaker 1: He was brilliant in that he was hot there. I
• 10:27
Speaker 1: didn't think he was necessarily hot in that way. Maybe
• 10:29
Speaker 1: not like as that, but everybody has different taste for Gladiator.
• 10:34
Speaker 2: Was it was not his character?
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: Okay, three personalities?
• 10:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, Gladiator never said I never saw it, but he
• 10:40
Speaker 2: seemed to be hot there.
• 10:41
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, But anyway, listen, he is hot, and he's working it,
• 10:45
Speaker 1: and he's dating a thirty three year old and he's
• 10:47
Speaker 1: very honest, which I admire. So she's okay, I'm okay.
• 10:52
Speaker 1: You know, he says he likes to be called a
• 10:54
Speaker 1: boyfriend and he was romantic and yeah, okay.
• 11:00
Speaker 2: Tickles your pickle. Yeah you go, baby, you go.
• 11:03
  Speaker 1: All right. So here's one that I'm a little I'm
• 11:06
Speaker 1: just I've been upset about it. I'm still upset. I
• 11:09
Speaker 1: can't see to get past it.
• 11:10
Speaker 2: Yep, I mean, come on, not repinely farness.
• 11:13
Speaker 1: I loved her and Hugh Jackman together, I really really did.
• 11:18
Speaker 1: And apparently she's shopping a bombshell tell all, but this
• 11:22
Speaker 1: one really got to me. And I know we were
• 11:24
Speaker 1: talking earlier a little bit about it, and there were
• 11:26
Speaker 1: rumors that he was gay, but he seemed to adore her,
• 11:31
Speaker 1: and I was bombed when they announced they're split. And
• 11:36
Speaker 1: now I'm going to be really bummed. If she starts
• 11:38
Speaker 1: to talk about him not being a good guy, I
• 11:40
Speaker 1: all bets her off. I'm going to bed.
• 11:42
Speaker 2: She seems to have some class, though.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: I am just telling you right now that if Hugh
• 11:46
Speaker 1: Jackman is not a good man and a kind man
• 11:50
Speaker 1: and an honorable man, I don't want to hear it.
• 11:53
Speaker 2: Come on, we all have our skeletons.
• 11:55
Speaker 1: No, not Hugh Jackman.
• 11:56
  Speaker 2: He's not a cartoon.
• 11:57
Speaker 1: But Hugh Jackman. Please, I love him. I love him.
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: I love him. Listen, We're human, I know, I mean,
• 12:05
Speaker 1: I think that she probably felt betrayed. I know there
• 12:07
Speaker 1: was the whole thing with Sudden Foster Broadway star, and
• 12:10
Speaker 1: they got together seemed very quickly. I don't know if
• 12:13
Speaker 1: maybe he was cheating with her. The whole thing bums
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: me out.
• 12:17
Speaker 2: Hey, it happens quite often, more than we know, I think,
• 12:22
Speaker 2: and it is a shame because it just makes you
• 12:24
Speaker 2: just have no hope you're a single woman.
• 12:27
Speaker 1: Hugh Jackman's Yeah, it has nothing to do.
• 12:29
Speaker 2: I mean, look, I just hope that she just tells
• 12:32
Speaker 2: her side of the story. And if you just stick
• 12:33
Speaker 2: to the way you feel. My therapist always taught me this,
• 12:36
Speaker 2: then you're good. You cleaned your side of the street. Right.
• 12:39
Speaker 2: It's just when you start to make accusations, and you know,
• 12:43
Speaker 2: assumptions or accuse people, it just never looks good or
• 12:46
  Speaker 2: sounds good.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: Would you ever consider writing book?
• 12:50
Speaker 2: I have? But not about my actor divorce? No, I
• 12:52
Speaker 2: mean about your divorce. Never. No, why because it's something
• 12:56
Speaker 2: I want to keep to myself. It's really none of
• 12:58
  Speaker 2: it's what I'm saying.
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: I mean, I wish she wasn't writing.
• 12:59
Speaker 2: A book, But maybe it's not about that. Maybe it's
• 13:02
Speaker 2: about more about her perspective and just living under his
• 13:05
Speaker 2: head like under him.
• 13:07
Speaker 1: Well, they called it a bombshell tell all.
• 13:09
Speaker 2: Well, they don't know that for sure. This is an assumption.
• 13:12
  Speaker 1: It's true.
• 13:13
Speaker 2: And let me tell you, especially lately, you can't believe
• 13:16
  Speaker 2: everything you read.
• 13:17
Speaker 1: A men's sister, And I know exactly what you're talking about.
• 13:20
Speaker 1: I'm with you, Yeah, you really can with you. Yeah,
• 13:23
Speaker 1: but would you write a tell all?
• 13:25
  Speaker 2: I just I don't know.
• 13:27
Speaker 1: When I write a tell all. Well, first of all,
• 13:30
Speaker 1: I don't know if I was divorced and angry about it.
• 13:33
Speaker 2: Or like when you were divorced.
• 13:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, when I was separated, separated, when my friend's out
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: of divorced. So I'm glad I didn't write a tell
• 13:39
Speaker 1: all at that point. No, But do you know why
• 13:41
Speaker 1: I wouldn't though? So my husband, who was almost my
• 13:46
Speaker 1: ex husband, he it was our separation was never a
• 13:50
Speaker 1: bad he was a shitty guy or shitty to me,
• 13:52
Speaker 1: or a bad father or a bad husband. We just
• 13:55
Speaker 1: were disconnected. The last thing I would have wanted to do,
• 13:59
Speaker 1: which is probably were able to get back together, is
• 14:00
Speaker 1: hurt him. You know, that was always part of why
• 14:03
Speaker 1: we couldn't get divorced. We were both like, yeah, I
• 14:06
Speaker 1: don't know, it's not about about that, but I so
• 14:09
Speaker 1: so about Jeff. And not only that, Jeff Bessler is
• 14:11
Speaker 1: the straightest lay. There will be nothing interesting to write about.
• 14:15
Speaker 1: So I can write a tell all though about my family,
• 14:18
Speaker 1: or not my entire family, but things my youth, my past.
• 14:23
Speaker 2: Yes, as long as it's focused on you, then that's fine.
• 14:25
  Speaker 2: I think it's when you.
• 14:26
Speaker 1: Want it to be like cathartic, not to hurt anyone.
• 14:29
Speaker 2: I mean, that's what I did with my book when
• 14:31
  Speaker 2: I I mean, I talked, well, it's the first time
• 14:32
Speaker 2: I talked about being molested as a little girl. It
• 14:36
Speaker 2: was very therapeutic. It was scary. But again, like, I'm
• 14:39
Speaker 2: not talking about anything outside of me, right, Like, I'm
• 14:42
Speaker 2: just talking about my experiences. And people can get offended
• 14:46
Speaker 2: if she does that with this book that's going to
• 14:48
Speaker 2: come out. But at the end of the day, again,
• 14:49
Speaker 2: if you stick to your experience, you can't really be
• 14:53
  Speaker 2: upset about that.
• 14:54
Speaker 1: It's not even offended or even judgmental about it. I'm
• 14:56
Speaker 1: just more disappointed I have this you know, I know
• 14:58
Speaker 1: it's not perfect and we know no, but he is.
• 15:00
Speaker 1: But I have loved him for so long anyway.
• 15:03
Speaker 2: I mean, you can love the imperfection too. Yeah, nope,
• 15:09
Speaker 2: moving on, moving on. So Chris Martin and Sophie Turner. So,
• 15:14
Speaker 2: Sophie Turner was married to a friend of mine, Joe Jonas.
• 15:17
Speaker 2: I did show with him. See, Yeah, he's a great guy.
• 15:22
Speaker 2: I never ran into him though when he married Sophie Turner.
• 15:26
Speaker 2: So I don't know really what that relationship was like.
• 15:29
Speaker 2: But Chris Martin and Sophie Turner are moving on together.
• 15:34
Speaker 1: Wait, Joe Jonas was not the one with type one diabetes.
• 15:37
Speaker 2: That one. That's the other one. That's uh, yes, who's
• 15:42
Speaker 2: married to Priyanka or something.
• 15:44
Speaker 1: Yes, And I was always keyed into that because of
• 15:47
Speaker 1: my daughter loving type one. But anyway she does, she does. Yeah,
• 15:52
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Hi, thank you, but we can talk. Thank you.
• 15:56
Speaker 1: She's had since she was twelve. Wow. There are many, many,
• 16:00
Speaker 1: many hard parts of it. But I appreciate that Nick
• 16:03
Speaker 1: Jonas is he's a great advocate.
• 16:05
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 16:05
Speaker 1: And also the idea that because a lot of people
• 16:07
Speaker 1: confused type two with type one, and so that's hard,
• 16:11
Speaker 1: especially when she was younger and she was people judging
• 16:14
Speaker 1: what she was eating. It had nothing to do with
• 16:15
Speaker 1: what she was eating. Right, so right or my style.
• 16:18
Speaker 2: These boys, though, I have to say I've hung out
• 16:21
Speaker 2: with them quite often, like back in our days, you know,
• 16:25
Speaker 2: when I especially when I was doing the show with Joe,
• 16:27
Speaker 2: and they're really good, solid guys, even the whole family is.
• 16:30
  Speaker 2: You know.
• 16:31
Speaker 1: They're from Wykoff, which is right like almost like a
• 16:34
  Speaker 1: neighboring town here.
• 16:35
Speaker 2: Oh cool. I think the other brother lives there.
• 16:38
Speaker 1: He's like a builder for a while. Yeah.
• 16:40
Speaker 2: Yeah. I just love that they reunited and they were
• 16:42
Speaker 2: on tour again. This is not what this is about.
• 16:44
Speaker 1: But we can't have it.
• 16:47
Speaker 2: But Chris Martin and so I mean, yes, what do
• 16:51
Speaker 2: you think of that?
• 16:51
Speaker 1: I think that I was so obsessed with Chris Martin
• 16:56
Speaker 1: and Dakota Johnson. I know what happened, I don't know,
• 17:00
Speaker 1: but I find both of those two people so beautiful
• 17:04
  Speaker 1: and sexy.
• 17:05
Speaker 2: She's so sexy to me, like I'm believing I'm I'm straight, okay,
• 17:08
Speaker 2: but like she's something very very mysterious about her.
• 17:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred percent. Let the bangs like yours.
• 17:17
  Speaker 2: She's just gorgeous.
• 17:18
Speaker 1: There's something so anyway, So I was a little thrown
• 17:21
Speaker 1: that they broke up for some reason. I thought that
• 17:23
Speaker 1: that was going to last. And I don't know in
• 17:26
Speaker 1: terms of him and Sophie Turner, I mean, they had
• 17:28
Speaker 1: the British thing in common, right, and apparently she had
• 17:31
Speaker 1: had a crush on him for a while even when
• 17:33
Speaker 1: she was introduced her right or did like a right
• 17:37
Speaker 1: like a birthday, like a birthday, that's cameo, almost right, great, yep, yep.
• 17:43
Speaker 1: So I mean there are two more beautiful people.
• 17:47
Speaker 2: I guess nineteen year age difference between them. I mean,
• 17:50
Speaker 2: I actually my partner, my dance competitive partner prior to
• 17:54
Speaker 2: me moving to LA, before I did dancing, that was
• 17:56
  Speaker 2: the same age gap. I don't think it's a big
• 17:58
Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sure it is.
• 18:00
Speaker 1: Wait how many how many years? Nineteen years? I don't know,
• 18:04
Speaker 1: you know what. In this world, especially this world of celebrities,
• 18:08
Speaker 1: it's you know, I'm used to it now.
• 18:12
Speaker 2: Age is just a number.
• 18:13
Speaker 1: Age is just a number. They both have kids.
• 18:16
  Speaker 2: She's a single mom.
• 18:17
Speaker 1: Right, His kids are obviously older.
• 18:19
Speaker 2: I just hope no one got hurt in the process,
• 18:21
Speaker 2: you know too. I mean, like I think that they
• 18:25
Speaker 2: were really sly though. The way that Chris and Dakota
• 18:27
Speaker 2: broke up was so like under the radar I feel.
• 18:29
Speaker 1: Like I don't know America race.
• 18:32
Speaker 2: No, I feel like Chris Martin gets such like hot women.
• 18:45
Speaker 2: He went from Gwyneth Paltrow musician. I mean he is
• 18:49
Speaker 2: he could sing to me, and he's not my type.
• 18:51
Speaker 1: I don't find him, not me either, basically, but that's
• 18:54
Speaker 1: okay once he starts singing, I do.
• 18:56
Speaker 2: I mean, have you been to his concert? It was
• 18:58
Speaker 2: the best concert ever?
• 19:00
  Speaker 1: Really?
• 19:01
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, made him even hotter.
• 19:02
Speaker 1: Him and Jennifer Lawrence were even right, remember him and
• 19:06
Speaker 1: Jennifer Lawrence that happened hot second. Yeah, he does very well.
• 19:11
Speaker 1: He does pretty well for himself.
• 19:12
Speaker 2: He just needs to sing that.
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: No, I don't find him. I mean he's not my
• 19:15
Speaker 1: type for sure, but you know, once he starts singing,
• 19:19
Speaker 1: all bets are off. I mean that's it.
• 19:21
Speaker 2: You know. It's the same thing with dancing, Like if
• 19:22
Speaker 2: I see a really good dancer who's like super masculine
• 19:27
Speaker 2: and just like confident, which is hard to find, you know,
• 19:30
Speaker 2: because look, it is what it is, especially in the
• 19:32
Speaker 2: ball room industry. You know, it's interesting. I when I
• 19:36
Speaker 2: was a competitor, I was had the hots for everybody
• 19:38
Speaker 2: that could dance, like the top set finalists. I was like, Oh, yeah,
• 19:41
  Speaker 2: you're hot. You're hot, you're gay, it doesn't matter.
• 19:43
Speaker 1: You're hot. You're hot. Like yeah, wait, so can you
• 19:46
Speaker 1: tell me you like, who of all your partners or
• 19:49
Speaker 1: even contestants, can you say about what?
• 19:52
Speaker 2: No, I'm talking about my my competitive life, which is
• 19:54
Speaker 2: a life. Talking about your dancing on the stars, No, no,
• 19:58
Speaker 2: they're not stars. If I have to actually teach you
• 20:01
Speaker 2: how to dance, No, you're not hot.
• 20:03
Speaker 1: Any of the other one. Okay, sorry, I'm just digging.
• 20:06
Speaker 2: Okays weekly, Yes, exactly right.
• 20:09
Speaker 1: Talk about Britney Snow, let's.
• 20:10
Speaker 2: Talk about her. Did you watch that Netflix series that
• 20:13
Speaker 2: she was just a part of.
• 20:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, but what was it called?
• 20:15
  Speaker 3: Again?
• 20:15
Speaker 1: I did, don't know, but it was freaking made wise
• 20:20
Speaker 1: hunting Wise. And it's funny because I so and I
• 20:24
Speaker 1: knew I knew her because she's another beauty. But I
• 20:28
Speaker 1: loved her in Pitch Perfect and there are certain scenes
• 20:31
Speaker 1: with her that I just will never forget, like the
• 20:33
Speaker 1: one where she opens the curtain on Anna Kendrick when
• 20:39
Speaker 1: she's singing and she's like, it's all excited. And she
• 20:41
Speaker 1: was in Hairspray too, I mean she's but yeah, so
• 20:43
Speaker 1: I'm watching Hunting wives, and it took me a minute,
• 20:46
  Speaker 1: even though I.
• 20:46
Speaker 2: Know, you know, you know her mm hmm, yeah, no,
• 20:49
Speaker 2: I definitely back in my clubbing days. I think she
• 20:52
Speaker 2: was dating one of my friends who went out a
• 20:55
Speaker 2: lot as well, and we like we just you know,
• 20:57
Speaker 2: cross paths. And she seems really sweet and humble and
• 21:01
Speaker 2: has stayed that way.
• 21:02
Speaker 1: It seems like, yep, yeah, she had a hard time
• 21:05
Speaker 1: when she split from I was right standalone.
• 21:08
Speaker 2: When you go through any type of heartbreak or split,
• 21:11
Speaker 2: Like for me, at least, i'm I don't eat either,
• 21:13
Speaker 2: Like that's my way of handling the stress. I think
• 21:16
Speaker 2: it's different for people, certain people, right, some people like
• 21:19
Speaker 2: to stress eat and I just food is the last
• 21:22
Speaker 2: thing I ever want when I'm going through something so painful.
• 21:27
Speaker 1: I never thought I would get to a place in
• 21:28
Speaker 1: my life where that I I like, that happened to
• 21:32
Speaker 1: me where I would actually lose my appetite because I
• 21:34
Speaker 1: was I was riddled with eating disorders, you know, growing
• 21:37
Speaker 1: up and into my twenties. But now I don't know
• 21:40
Speaker 1: if it's since my kid's been born, or when I
• 21:43
Speaker 1: get anxious, I can't eat and I get this like
• 21:47
Speaker 1: feeling that wells up in me and I just the
• 21:49
Speaker 1: last thing I could do was like ingest shoe. Yeah yeah,
• 21:52
Speaker 1: But it wasn't like that when I was younger. Usually
• 21:55
Speaker 1: when I was younger, I was driven to eat.
• 21:57
  Speaker 2: Oh interesting.
• 21:58
Speaker 1: But as I've gotten older, I definitely when I get
• 22:01
Speaker 1: nervous and anxious, I just basically usually I just curl
• 22:03
Speaker 1: up in my bed in a very tight ball and.
• 22:06
Speaker 2: Yeah and hope and hope it was a bad dream.
• 22:09
Speaker 2: What I love about this article, though, is that she's
• 22:11
Speaker 2: really promoting the fact that she was really loving her
• 22:15
Speaker 2: little girl inside of her and the way that she
• 22:17
Speaker 2: was showing compassion and the self talk. I definitely can
• 22:23
Speaker 2: take a page out of her book, because I think
• 22:26
Speaker 2: that really is so important. It's more important than we think,
• 22:29
Speaker 2: Like we all have that little person inside of us
• 22:31
Speaker 2: that was not either properly raised or that needs that
• 22:35
Speaker 2: mothering that maybe did they didn't get. And I think
• 22:38
Speaker 2: it's so easy for me, at least to the negative
• 22:42
Speaker 2: self talk really gets loud, especially because you know, I
• 22:45
Speaker 2: live a welle and sometimes you know it's just you
• 22:47
  Speaker 2: don't you're not really aware of it unless you're a
• 22:50
Speaker 2: freaking you know monk, But like you know, I know,
• 22:54
Speaker 2: I have thoughts in my head.
• 22:55
Speaker 1: I have I have become with therapy, many many, many
• 22:58
Speaker 1: years of therapy because my therapist also says that I
• 23:00
Speaker 1: have to like big girl Jennifer has to embrace a
• 23:02
Speaker 1: little girl Jennifer if you guys, by the way, whoever's listening,
• 23:05
Speaker 1: So she talked, so Brittany would say to herself, okay, baby,
• 23:08
Speaker 1: like I'm just gonna read it straight from this article.
• 23:11
Speaker 1: A kay, baby girl, do you want a bagel? Let's
• 23:13
Speaker 1: get you a bagel. We're gonna toast it. We're gonna
• 23:15
Speaker 1: put some cream cheese on it, said all you can eat. Okay,
• 23:19
  Speaker 1: that's okay.
• 23:19
Speaker 2: And that is because of her split from her ex.
• 23:22
Speaker 1: Yes, but I know that a lot of times my
• 23:25
Speaker 1: own therapist will say when I get upset, like almost
• 23:29
Speaker 1: like how to almost like embrace myself. You know what
• 23:32
Speaker 1: I'm saying, like, put my arms and talk to myself,
• 23:34
  Speaker 1: is it?
• 23:35
  Speaker 2: Yes?
• 23:35
Speaker 1: And remind myself that I'm an adult, right and what's
• 23:38
Speaker 1: happening inside me is not feeling very adult or feels
• 23:43
Speaker 1: like a scared little girl triggered. Yes, yes, when you
• 23:46
Speaker 1: get triggered like that, and yeah, I think that's really
• 23:49
Speaker 1: cool and really cool to share because I don't hear
• 23:51
Speaker 1: people share that often, and it reminded me of what
• 23:54
Speaker 1: I'm often told to do in therapy.
• 23:56
Speaker 2: Right, I don't think a lot of people do this,
• 23:58
Speaker 2: Like I think that you have to be here very
• 24:00
Speaker 2: intentional and very self aware to even catch yourself and
• 24:05
Speaker 2: the self talk to even know if you're doing if
• 24:07
Speaker 2: you're saying negative things to yourself or not. Like to
• 24:10
Speaker 2: even know that is pretty spectacular.
• 24:14
  Speaker 1: Actually, I agree. I agree. I'm happy here because I
• 24:18
Speaker 1: love Yeah, I do too.
• 24:19
Speaker 2: I love the message.
• 24:20
Speaker 1: You know, I do too. No, I'm telling you that's
• 24:22
Speaker 1: like anybody listening will spend a lot of money on
• 24:25
Speaker 1: therapy to learn that.
• 24:26
Speaker 2: So yeah, you and me both, I'm going to do
• 24:28
Speaker 2: it for the rest of my life.
• 24:30
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and the breed and also to breed to
• 24:32
Speaker 1: breathe to remind myself right, Oh yeah.
• 24:34
Speaker 2: Breath is so important. Like I only know that through
• 24:37
Speaker 2: because of dancing, But like if I wasn't dancing, I
• 24:40
Speaker 2: don't think I'd have any sense of any body awareness. Breath.
• 24:43
Speaker 2: How breath can literally change the way you feel and.
• 24:47
Speaker 1: A second, your autonomic nervous system if you.
• 24:50
Speaker 2: Everything, Oh yeah, it can change. It can from fear
• 24:54
Speaker 2: to like just calmness in a matter of seconds if
• 24:57
Speaker 2: you turn into your breath. But obviously there's certain techniques.
• 25:01
Speaker 2: Do you listen to doctor Huberman his podcast? Oh fascinating.
• 25:05
Speaker 2: I'm just so fascinated by just just how our brain works. Right,
• 25:09
Speaker 2: and he's an I will I'll send you his podcast.
• 25:13
Speaker 2: It's fascinating. Okay, good on you, Britney Snell. Congrats. I'm
• 25:19
Speaker 2: gonna definitely try that. Hopefully it works.
• 25:22
  Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, do.
• 25:23
Speaker 2: You want to talk about Tory spelling? This is yeah
• 25:27
  Speaker 2: so sad.
• 25:27
Speaker 1: I mean, listen, that's just been ugly for so long.
• 25:30
Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, core Tori, Yeah, you know,
• 25:35
  Speaker 1: I don't always mean by the way, I don't know
• 25:36
Speaker 1: if it sounds like does he think it sounds like
• 25:39
Speaker 1: we're always sort of more sympathetic to the woman, and
• 25:44
Speaker 1: maybe when we were women. I think that would be
• 25:46
  Speaker 1: our inclination.
• 25:47
Speaker 2: I think in this world we need it now more
• 25:49
Speaker 2: than ever, because I'm pretty sure women are attacking women.
• 25:52
  Speaker 2: It's pretty it's happening often.
• 25:55
Speaker 1: What have you watched Real Housewives on New Jersey, Cholbern.
• 25:57
Speaker 2: No, I've just watched my social media, my social media accounts.
• 26:01
Speaker 2: I mean they're just borderline like it's so toxic and
• 26:05
Speaker 2: I cannot avoid it obviously, right, Yeah, yeah, I do
• 26:09
Speaker 2: want coming at me all women, it's all women? Is
• 26:12
Speaker 2: it really all women?
• 26:14
  Speaker 1: So depressing?
• 26:16
Speaker 2: I mean it just shows you that so this whole time,
• 26:19
Speaker 2: then when you're saying women support women, we're all full
• 26:22
Speaker 2: of dead because it's like I've noticed a pattern too.
• 26:25
Speaker 2: It's like when you look good, when you feel good,
• 26:28
Speaker 2: when you just really do like feel like yourself, that's
• 26:31
Speaker 2: when people try and tear you down. And then it's
• 26:34
Speaker 2: when you are the opposite or you're struggling and they
• 26:37
Speaker 2: see that, then they're there for you.
• 26:39
Speaker 1: It's interesting and I think it's all about feeling less than,
• 26:43
  Speaker 1: not enough.
• 26:43
Speaker 2: Yeah. Well when I was a little girl, is what
• 26:45
Speaker 2: I was going to say that that is the reason,
• 26:47
Speaker 2: because I didn't feel supported and loved enough, I think
• 26:50
Speaker 2: as who I was. That's why I found my identity
• 26:53
Speaker 2: outside of myself. And that's now what I'm dealing with today.
• 26:57
Speaker 2: It's like I am enough without whatever it is that
• 27:00
Speaker 2: I think I was, because that has nothing to do
• 27:03
Speaker 2: with the person that I am. Right, I am enough
• 27:06
Speaker 2: regardless of what I'm doing as far as my job
• 27:09
Speaker 2: goes or my or my love life or whatever it is,
• 27:12
  Speaker 2: it doesn't matter.
• 27:14
Speaker 1: You know, my therapist and this is something that has
• 27:18
Speaker 1: I don't know why. Some certain things that you learn
• 27:20
Speaker 1: in therapy, right, they are they stick and they help
• 27:24
Speaker 1: and they help and they help and they help. So
• 27:27
Speaker 1: she one day she just held up this pencil and
• 27:29
Speaker 1: she said to me that, so life is not I
• 27:34
Speaker 1: don't know about life, but let's say even there's this feeling,
• 27:37
Speaker 1: especially with fame, right that you're either at the top,
• 27:41
Speaker 1: and if you're at the top, you're always worried about
• 27:42
Speaker 1: the fall. Right, you're at the top, and the energy
• 27:46
Speaker 1: is about your energy becomes about that. You know, when
• 27:49
Speaker 1: you're not or you're at the bottom, you feel or
• 27:53
Speaker 1: you feel like you're at the bottom. Right, But the
• 27:55
Speaker 1: the ideal place to be is over here outside of
• 27:59
Speaker 1: that and in dignity, right, in dignity and peace, knowing
• 28:03
Speaker 1: that and gratitude and gratitude, knowing that no matter what,
• 28:07
Speaker 1: you're just as special as you're just as special and
• 28:11
Speaker 1: no more special than the person next to you. We
• 28:13
Speaker 1: all hate polls, yes, and we are all there's without
• 28:17
Speaker 1: doing anything, we are we are one.
• 28:20
Speaker 2: I know that sounds ye, so cheesy, but seriously, we are.
• 28:25
  Speaker 1: I agree, I agree, And.
• 28:26
Speaker 2: It's society that puts you on a pedestal and then
• 28:29
Speaker 2: you either believe it and you go a little.
• 28:31
Speaker 1: Deluttle the trick. That's the trick when you get any
• 28:34
Speaker 1: kind I think of fame or even success in life,
• 28:37
Speaker 1: to not feed into that, right, it's so hard that
• 28:40
Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, but awareness, awareness, that's why it's
• 28:44
Speaker 1: better to be famous when you're older. I had the
• 28:48
Speaker 1: whole time as soon as I started house I thank
• 28:50
Speaker 1: god it was in therapy for you know, twenty years
• 28:52
Speaker 1: before and continued it. But that was a big part
• 28:55
Speaker 1: of it for me once I got on the show.
• 28:57
Speaker 1: And I don't have a kind of fame obviously that
• 28:59
Speaker 1: you have or whatever.
• 29:00
Speaker 2: You can't. I mean, you don't need to measure it.
• 29:02
Speaker 1: Well, even a little bit of it is do things
• 29:04
  Speaker 1: to your head.
• 29:05
Speaker 2: It's social media. Everyone goes through it too, everyone.
• 29:08
Speaker 1: Talking about how it doesn't matter how everyone sees me.
• 29:11
Speaker 1: I'm not at the top and I'm not at the bottom.
• 29:14
Speaker 1: I'm out, I'm not even I'm like away from that line.
• 29:17
Speaker 1: Try to be you know, living in dignity blah blah blah,
• 29:20
Speaker 1: and not no one's better than me, and I'm not
• 29:21
  Speaker 1: better than anyone.
• 29:22
Speaker 2: Correct, And the noise does get loud. Yeah, So I
• 29:26
Speaker 2: mean I wonder how Tory feels though, because Toy has
• 29:28
Speaker 2: been like she's been raised in this type of environment
• 29:32
Speaker 2: like she, I would assume she only knows that life
• 29:35
  Speaker 2: of celebrity, right.
• 29:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, listen, I think that even from her beginning,
• 29:40
Speaker 1: right with nine to two and zero, everyone assumed it
• 29:42
Speaker 1: assumed that she was it was all about being an
• 29:44
Speaker 1: EPO baby. And yeah, and she came from this royal
• 29:48
Speaker 1: family in Hollywood. Talk about getting beat up online and
• 29:52
Speaker 1: this is you know, going back years fully, Yeah, well
• 29:56
Speaker 1: back back in the day, because what's unless I'm screwing
• 29:59
Speaker 1: this up? But he was married when they got together.
• 30:01
Speaker 1: I think I have no idea what I have to ask?
• 30:04
Speaker 1: Yesther says yes, and she got a lot of shit
• 30:07
  Speaker 1: about it.
• 30:08
Speaker 2: So she was the other woman.
• 30:10
Speaker 1: She was the other woman, I got it. And they
• 30:13
Speaker 1: were madly, madly, madly in love.
• 30:15
Speaker 2: And he wasn't already separated or anything.
• 30:18
Speaker 1: No, I don't think so. I mean it happened so
• 30:21
Speaker 1: famous too, who was it?
• 30:23
Speaker 2: Well, oh, they met on a movie.
• 30:25
Speaker 1: So she had to endure that write Everyone's judgment Dean
• 30:28
Speaker 1: oh McDermott. Hello, Okay, So yeah, they had to deal
• 30:35
Speaker 1: with a lot of that, and I was rooting for
• 30:37
Speaker 1: them today. I got a lot of kids, tons tons
• 30:41
  Speaker 1: of kids.
• 30:42
Speaker 2: I did run into her, and when I had my
• 30:44
Speaker 2: other podcast with iHeart and I was in NAPA and
• 30:47
Speaker 2: she was there, we didn't get to talk much. I mean,
• 30:49
Speaker 2: she also did Dancing with the Stars. I was so
• 30:51
Speaker 2: proud of her for doing Dancing with the Stars because
• 30:54
Speaker 2: she's been asked, I would say every single season and
• 30:57
Speaker 2: she said, and I would try and convince her, like
• 30:59
Speaker 2: just like nicely convincerr obviously, you know, you still need
• 31:02
Speaker 2: to tell these people the truth of what the actual
• 31:05
Speaker 2: thing is, what they're going to be stepping into. But
• 31:07
Speaker 2: overall it was such a great experience. She had one
• 31:10
Speaker 2: of the best partners, Pasha. I'm just happy she did
• 31:12
Speaker 2: it because it's very much also an individual like achievement
• 31:16
Speaker 2: as these celebrities come on because it is hard, right
• 31:19
Speaker 2: and if you can get through it, no matter how
• 31:21
Speaker 2: long you last, you feel so proud of yourself.
• 31:23
Speaker 1: Is that what you tell people before they do it, Like,
• 31:24
Speaker 1: what was your warning to her if.
• 31:26
Speaker 2: They ask questions like, is it seven days a week? Yes,
• 31:29
Speaker 2: it is seven days a week.
• 31:30
Speaker 1: Right, but it's also for hours.
• 31:31
Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be seven days a week. But
• 31:33
Speaker 2: it's set your own risk because you're the one dancing, right, So.
• 31:36
Speaker 1: I always wonder, like how when it starts?
• 31:39
Speaker 2: It's not twenty four hours? Don't it's not big brother
• 31:41
  Speaker 2: right of course.
• 31:41
  Speaker 1: But I'm saying I know, but I'm saying, like people's
• 31:44
Speaker 1: bodies that aren't in shape, right, and like, how do
• 31:48
Speaker 1: you It must be so shocking.
• 31:50
Speaker 2: To it's shocking to people whose bodies are in shape too,
• 31:54
Speaker 2: because this is a way different way. You're not just it.
• 31:57
Speaker 2: I mean, the way we move our bodies is not normal.
• 32:00
Speaker 2: You're forcing your bodies to move ways that is not natural.
• 32:04
Speaker 2: And the more awkward it feels, the better it looks
• 32:07
Speaker 2: from the outside in.
• 32:08
Speaker 1: All Right, you and I can go off on like tangents,
• 32:11
Speaker 1: go ahead, it's really fun. But okay, I'm trying to like,
• 32:15
Speaker 1: what is this what is this podcast about? Oh, divorce? Divorce?
• 32:18
Speaker 2: Well, you know, there's so many different meanings of divorce,
• 32:20
Speaker 2: but Tori spelling. Basically, she settles her divorce finally right
• 32:23
Speaker 2: with Dean. She's requesting for spousal support two years after separating.
• 32:27
Speaker 1: So yeah, so she she has requested spousal, spousal and
• 32:32
Speaker 1: child support, and so I guess they got. They filed
• 32:37
Speaker 1: for divorce they feel like pretty recently.
• 32:39
Speaker 2: So it obviously didn't end well.
• 32:40
Speaker 1: So the filing didn't indicate whether or not they had
• 32:43
Speaker 1: a prenup in place.
• 32:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, so, which means most likely that that wasn't the case.
• 32:47
Speaker 2: Yeah right, Oh, well, more, I love her. I do
• 32:50
Speaker 2: love Tori, so I'm just wishing her so much love.
• 32:52
Speaker 1: I met her once at a an iHeart thing and
• 32:56
Speaker 1: she was so so so sweet to me.
• 32:59
Speaker 2: She is a sweet person, she really is, genuinely.
• 33:02
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 33:13
Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor, jeez, Louise, I've never seen one episode of
• 33:17
Speaker 2: The Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor, Paradise, whatever the heck, I've never
• 33:22
  Speaker 2: not interested.
• 33:24
Speaker 1: Well, I will tell you that I have many, many,
• 33:26
Speaker 1: many I have seen many, many many, and the Golden Bachelor.
• 33:29
Speaker 1: And I am friends with Teresa.
• 33:31
Speaker 2: Oh so okay, yeah, just so you know, after reading
• 33:34
Speaker 2: this whole long ass article, I'm also on Teresa's side.
• 33:37
  Speaker 2: Just FYI.
• 33:39
Speaker 1: Well, I will tell you that, talk about a sweet,
• 33:42
Speaker 1: kind human, he seems what a doll and I did
• 33:46
Speaker 1: watch The Golden Bachelor and I interviewed a few of
• 33:48
Speaker 1: those folks and she was just she's a special person.
• 33:52
Speaker 2: Did you know Teresa prior to her being on the podcast?
• 33:56
Speaker 1: No, I didn't, but we were actually all in Tahoe
• 33:59
Speaker 1: together for yeah, and it was it was really great
• 34:03
Speaker 1: and Leslie who was on Golden Bauchler two and that
• 34:07
Speaker 1: she went really really far. And but anyway, so apparently,
• 34:12
Speaker 1: according to Teresa, he said some whack a dutally dud
• 34:17
Speaker 1: really kind of scary, right.
• 34:19
Speaker 2: I mean red flag?
• 34:21
Speaker 1: Well, yeah, red was dark with the red black. I
• 34:24
Speaker 1: don't know. So apparently she went to his house and
• 34:26
Speaker 1: they took a walk around. They called it pretty lake
• 34:30
Speaker 1: and he she said they were coming to the end
• 34:34
Speaker 1: of the lake and he goes, do you see that's
• 34:37
Speaker 1: shit up there? Uh, that's where I'm going to hide
• 34:40
Speaker 1: your body after I kill you and chalk.
• 34:43
Speaker 2: Cut you up into pieces like that is crazy, And
• 34:46
  Speaker 2: she said.
• 34:46
Speaker 1: She was laughing, her nervous laugh, but he was.
• 34:49
Speaker 2: Not, Okay, that is crazy. I would have ran for
• 34:52
  Speaker 2: the hills.
• 34:54
Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know how in what context that was
• 34:57
Speaker 1: you ever ask me. I didn't know about this. So
• 35:00
Speaker 1: when I when Teresa and I became friends, I knew
• 35:03
Speaker 1: that it was not good, but this just came out
• 35:08
Speaker 1: so and she didn't mention it to me at all, right, creepy.
• 35:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, so he seems to be a little bit of
• 35:15
  Speaker 2: an attention grabber.
• 35:16
  Speaker 3: Uh.
• 35:17
Speaker 1: Yes, I think he loved you.
• 35:18
Speaker 2: I think he loved the attention a little bit. Now,
• 35:21
Speaker 2: mind you, there's two sides to every story. Absolutely, but
• 35:25
  Speaker 2: I don't know it was all a little I mean,
• 35:28
Speaker 2: like I said, I never watched it, but yet I
• 35:29
Speaker 2: felt emotionally connected when they said they were divorcing after
• 35:33
Speaker 2: just like a couple of days of being married.
• 35:35
Speaker 1: Right, Yes, Well, I think also, I guess this was reacting.
• 35:41
Speaker 1: This just came out like yes, because of his book, right,
• 35:44
Speaker 1: and so maybe she was reacting to that. I mean,
• 35:49
Speaker 1: she said, she goes, I don't think he would have
• 35:51
Speaker 1: killed me. He says, I don't think that was true.
• 35:55
Speaker 1: It just spoke to an underlying feeling about me, like
• 35:59
Speaker 1: he wanted she felt like he just wanted to get
• 36:00
  Speaker 1: rid of her.
• 36:01
Speaker 2: Right, that's so odd. Okay, So basically The Golden Bachelor
• 36:05
Speaker 2: detailed his romance with his final Rose winner in his
• 36:08
Speaker 2: memoir Golden Years. She's laying out her own perspective and
• 36:12
Speaker 2: recently shared an unsettling memory with her former husband. Okay,
• 36:16
Speaker 2: so yes, so this is why this is all happening. Okay,
• 36:21
  Speaker 2: got it.
• 36:21
Speaker 1: God, she's reacting to all of his claims.
• 36:24
Speaker 2: Well, there was quite a few from what I read.
• 36:26
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 36:27
Speaker 2: Look, I there's been bachelor bachelorette contestants on Dancing with
• 36:31
Speaker 2: the Stars, and I believe that. Look, it's not normal
• 36:35
Speaker 2: the situation you're put in, right, Like everything moves so fast,
• 36:39
Speaker 2: and then yeah, there is that moment of silent or
• 36:41
Speaker 2: quiet time where it hasn't been announced who the winner is,
• 36:45
Speaker 2: and then you have to do this like hide out.
• 36:47
Speaker 2: Like it's just not a normal environment.
• 36:50
Speaker 1: It seems like it would be romantic, but it's probably intense.
• 36:54
Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sure, because like the camera is like some
• 36:57
Speaker 2: you know, people don't know. Sometimes you perform in front
• 36:59
Speaker 2: of the cameras, you don't know you're performing right, right,
• 37:03
Speaker 2: you know, you're very aware of it, and then all
• 37:04
Speaker 2: of a sudden's true, they're not there, and you're like, wait,
• 37:07
Speaker 2: who is this person who's not always on?
• 37:10
  Speaker 1: Right?
• 37:10
Speaker 2: Like I know I'm not always on in normal life.
• 37:14
Speaker 1: Me neither, you know, it was nice about Golden because
• 37:16
Speaker 1: you don't watch it, but as opposed to the others
• 37:19
Speaker 1: the Bachelor, Beginning Bachelor, and Bachelorette, the Golden Bachelor's I
• 37:24
Speaker 1: felt like it was a very inspiring show and not listen.
• 37:29
Speaker 1: They even had like Bachelor's in Paradise, they had both
• 37:32
Speaker 1: the golden and the younger ones, and the younger ones
• 37:35
Speaker 1: were almost condescending, like, oh, they're so cute, they're look
• 37:40
Speaker 1: at them thing. But like when it was just the
• 37:43
Speaker 1: Golden Bachelor, it was really nice and see how older
• 37:47
Speaker 1: people also, how like the guys interacted with each other
• 37:51
Speaker 1: like a gentleman. For the bachelorette was so great and
• 37:54
Speaker 1: even and the women they were actually making friends and
• 37:57
Speaker 1: all of that was very inspiring. But in the end
• 38:00
Speaker 1: it did not work out, and she actually said that
• 38:02
Speaker 1: he wanted her to quit working.
• 38:04
Speaker 2: Well, they said that they supposedly discussed this and she
• 38:07
Speaker 2: was going she said that she was going to quit.
• 38:09
Speaker 2: From his side of the story, right right, I don't
• 38:12
Speaker 2: think he should ever expect anybody to change their lives
• 38:15
Speaker 2: for you, if you know what I mean, Like, you
• 38:17
Speaker 2: can't change anybody right well.
• 38:19
Speaker 1: Right, I mean, yeah, he's retired. I guess he wanted
• 38:21
Speaker 1: her to hang out with him. I would never be
• 38:23
Speaker 1: able to sleep for independence, and yes, exactly get.
• 38:27
Speaker 2: Some insurance on that body of yours.
• 38:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you. But you know, I don't, like I
• 38:31
  Speaker 1: said to you before, I'm not obviously I don't. I
• 38:33
Speaker 1: wasn't there, even though I'm friends with Teresa and he
• 38:36
Speaker 1: does a pod with Amy Robach and t J. Holmes
• 38:39
Speaker 1: that you guys can listen to, so I would be
• 38:42
Speaker 1: interested to hear in hearing his and no one does
• 38:45
Speaker 1: a pod like those two, so I would be interested
• 38:47
Speaker 1: in hearing you know what he had to say. So,
• 38:50
Speaker 1: I mean, and it's I thought that because maybe of
• 38:53
Speaker 1: their age, they would be able to keep it nice.
• 38:56
Speaker 2: Oh well, well, I do believe though that maybe. Do
• 38:59
Speaker 2: you think the network had anything to do with the
• 39:00
Speaker 2: fact that they had to announce it publicly that they
• 39:02
Speaker 2: were going to separate because it was so soon, right,
• 39:05
Speaker 2: So I think it is whole thing.
• 39:06
Speaker 1: Yes, I think, I think, Yes, I think they did.
• 39:08
  Speaker 1: I guess there's a I guess you sign a contract
• 39:10
  Speaker 1: of course.
• 39:11
Speaker 2: And by the way, like the amount of just everything,
• 39:14
Speaker 2: I mean, they even said this in the article. Someone
• 39:16
Speaker 2: referred to the fact that they didn't want to back out.
• 39:18
Speaker 2: I mean the production of it, the people pleasing, the
• 39:21
Speaker 2: fact that they you know, all these people traveled to
• 39:24
Speaker 2: be there at their wedding. It's like that was on
• 39:26
Speaker 2: TV and not the way I get it world right. Yeah,
• 39:30
Speaker 2: it's a lot, it is, And you're not thinking about
• 39:32
Speaker 2: yourself though you should because this is your day. You're
• 39:34
Speaker 2: thinking about crap. I have people traveling from across the
• 39:38
Speaker 2: world to come here, Like you're like, but this is
• 39:40
Speaker 2: the rest of my life. It makes no sense now,
• 39:43
Speaker 2: right if you think about it in like right, But
• 39:45
Speaker 2: then when you're in a dress already and it's like
• 39:48
Speaker 2: count down till the freaking prince and princess gets married,
• 39:50
Speaker 2: you're gonna do it. You're doing it with a smile
• 39:52
  Speaker 2: on your face.
• 39:54
Speaker 1: Well, he's already found someone else. Apparently he's already engaged,
• 39:57
Speaker 1: So you know, would you do it? Would you go on?
• 40:00
  Speaker 4: No?
• 40:00
Speaker 1: I know you wouldn't. Of course you wouldn't the bachelor.
• 40:03
Speaker 2: No, there was talk of this many eons ago. But
• 40:06
Speaker 2: I would have after it back back then when I
• 40:09
  Speaker 2: was drinking.
• 40:10
Speaker 1: Probably, well, if I was single, I think I would.
• 40:13
Speaker 2: You would. Yeah, I could see you on it, really,
• 40:17
Speaker 2: you know, what I can only assume this though, is
• 40:19
Speaker 2: that I believe maybe was there a sense of like
• 40:22
Speaker 2: just authenticity when you saw The Golden Bachelor, because they
• 40:25
  Speaker 2: weren't putting on a show.
• 40:27
Speaker 1: Definitely from so during the Golden Bachelor, the women specifically felt,
• 40:32
Speaker 1: they were not just felt because we I've actually interviewed
• 40:35
Speaker 1: a few of them and they are authentic and on
• 40:38
Speaker 1: the show. I what I saw on the show was
• 40:41
Speaker 1: what I got, you know, when I was talking to
• 40:43
Speaker 1: them on the pod and Esa and Leslie off the pod.
• 40:47
Speaker 1: So yes. And in terms of the guys, you know
• 40:50
Speaker 1: on the Bachelorette, they were adorable, they bonded and it.
• 40:53
Speaker 2: Was a friendship special thrette right, yes.
• 40:56
Speaker 1: Yes, well that was what was I think that show
• 40:59
Speaker 1: so special? Yes, because you're mature enough that it's that
• 41:03
Speaker 1: is important friendship, right.
• 41:05
Speaker 2: But the Golden is specific because I don't know if
• 41:07
Speaker 2: the other ones do that. Maybe they do.
• 41:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't know about this season just not
• 41:12
Speaker 1: so good. But anyways, my friend always a pleasure, and yeah,
• 41:17
Speaker 1: it is such a pleasure. I love talking to you.
• 41:19
Speaker 2: Oh my god, I can see you on that show.
• 41:20
Speaker 2: But you're married. We shouldn't even be talking about that.
• 41:23
Speaker 1: Well no, just kidding, just kidding, next lifetime.
• 41:27
Speaker 2: Don't manifest it unless you want to. I could help you.
• 41:30
Speaker 1: Believe me, I ain't manifested nothing when it comes to my.
• 41:33
Speaker 2: Technically, we just did, didn't we. We spoke it to exist.
• 41:36
Speaker 1: Really say that. Don't get all nervous.
• 41:38
Speaker 2: That is part of the manifested.
• 41:41
Speaker 1: Really well, we have to talk about that.
• 41:43
Speaker 2: Speak it into existence, girlfriends, and.
• 41:44
Speaker 1: Not manifest while I'm speaking into into existence, never ever
