- 0:00End of silver price manipulation.
- 0:03I'll explain, but we're also on the precipice of something
- 0:07incredible for silver. Two big light bulb moments that
- 0:11I'm going to share with you. We're going to learn a lot
- 0:14today, but I was thinking earlier, is this the end of the
- 0:18silver price manipulation? People have been complaining
- 0:22about it for what, decades and decades?
- 0:26I want you to consider something very important as we sit here
- 0:29today with the silver price above $80 per oz, how can we
- 0:35still say that the silver price is being manipulated to the
- 0:39downside? Now look, if we get the $70.60
- 0:43dollar, $50 per oz silver, maybe we can say it's being
- 0:48manipulated down. If we get below $50, absolutely.
- 0:52I don't think that's going to happen.
- 0:54We basement dwellers, right that love gold and silver, We don't
- 0:58want to see that happen. But I think it's safe for us to
- 1:02say if we do indeed level out, build a base with the silver
- 1:06price above $70 per oz, then we can officially declare that the
- 1:11the downward manipulation of the silver price has for all intents
- 1:17and purposes ended. And Rick Rule said something I
- 1:20don't know a year ago. Rick Rules like the most
- 1:23respected, one of the most respected people in the precious
- 1:27metal sector. I remember hearing him say that
- 1:30the manipulators are manipulators.
- 1:32They won't only manipulate the price to the downside, They're
- 1:37just as happy to manipulate it to the upside.
- 1:41And think about what happened when we had that surge in the
- 1:44silver price all the way to $120.00 per oz.
- 1:49Was that manipulation to the upside?
- 1:53But think about it, right? These, these traders, these,
- 1:56these people that deal with the futures contracts, they don't,
- 2:00they just want to make money. They don't care if they're
- 2:02making money, pushing it down artificially, which made us all
- 2:06mad. Don't get me wrong, I'm not
- 2:08minimizing the impact of that, but they're also just as happy
- 2:12to see it manipulated to the upside and for them to make
- 2:15money off that as well. In guys we've not seen anything
- 2:20yet. Like I just said, that price
- 2:23increase that we had up to $120.00 per oz and I've got some
- 2:28crazy data we're going to look at later in regard to that,
- 2:31right? That was not a squeeze, that was
- 2:34a surge. We are now going to officially
- 2:36label that as the silver surge. The silver squeeze is still yet
- 2:42to come for this cycle. And what we want to see happen,
- 2:47this is very important, is for this next squeeze to happen
- 2:51after the silver price has gone up significantly from here,
- 2:57maybe after it consolidated for a few months at $120.00 or 140
- 3:03or even $150.00. That's how we see a squeeze up
- 3:07to the 405 hundred dollar level. I've never sold an ounce of
- 3:12silver in my life. But if we see a situation where
- 3:16we go up significantly from here, consolidate and then have
- 3:20a squeeze, I'll keep you posted if I ever do.
- 3:23I'll be 100% transparent if I ever do sell an ounce of
- 3:27physical silver, but that's not all because because we are on
- 3:30the precipice of something huge in the silver world, right?
- 3:34We are going through right now an energy crisis and silver is
- 3:40emerging like none of us could have ever imagined as the new
- 3:44energy metal. Let's dig into this because it
- 3:47is absolutely fascinating. Almost as fascinating and good
- 3:52is the fact that you decided to join me, basement dwellers.
- 3:55That's what we call ourselves down here in the basement.
- 3:58Talk about gold and silver, please.
- 4:00I'll be quick Subscribe to the channel press that button press
- 4:04the thumbs up button. Leave a comment in the comment
- 4:07section. You don't have to agree with me
- 4:10or with anybody else. That's how we learn is from each
- 4:13other and super chat. Super thanks, always super
- 4:15appreciated. Never ever expected.
- 4:18Check this out guys. There's a lot to dig in here
- 4:22from this excellent article from the Silver Academy.
- 4:25I've got it all highlighted for you in different colors.
- 4:28Oil Armageddon, We're going to dig into that a little bit as
- 4:31well. We are living through a historic
- 4:34time as 20 million barrels vanish overnight.
- 4:38Silver becomes the new oil. I want you to look at that on
- 4:43red, in red on your screen. Hold on one second here, guys.
- 4:49As usual, we're having a little tech issue.
- 4:53Bear with me. Hold on here.
- 4:57Hopefully you can see me and hear me.
- 5:01Hold on. Uh oh, Susie, if you could let
- 5:05me know if they can see the article.
- 5:08You can see the article. OK, guys, I'll be right back
- 5:11because I can't see the article, but we're going to.
- 5:14I'm coming right there. Hold on one second.
- 5:19Hold on one second. I won't start singing.
- 5:22I promise. And I think we're almost back.
- 5:29Here we go. OK, we're back.
- 5:32Oil, Armageddon. 20 million barrels vanish overnight.
- 5:35Silver becomes the new oil. Now, please stare at that red
- 5:39part and realize that is critically important.
- 5:42Soon you will understand why 20 million barrels a day gone.
- 5:46The Strait of Hormuz sealed the world's energy artery cut in
- 5:49half. But oil isn't the only story
- 5:52anymore. What happens next?
- 5:54We'll rewrite every portfolio, every supply chain, every
- 6:00geopolitical map on Earth, because the next chapter isn't
- 6:05written about oil. It's written about silver.
- 6:10Silver is no longer just a precious metal.
- 6:13It is the bloodstream of the digital age.
- 6:17It powers every data center, every solar panel, every EV
- 6:20charging grid, every communication network.
- 6:23It is the most conductive metal known to humanity, the only
- 6:28material that can move electricity with virtually zero
- 6:33loss. The key thing here to realize,
- 6:35guys, is the last 100 years was the age of oil.
- 6:39It was everything. It powered everything.
- 6:41I'm not saying that oil is going away, but silver is emerging as
- 6:47a competitor. And the new oil data centers are
- 6:51the new factories. AI servers are the new steel
- 6:54mills. But here's the catch.
- 6:56Every TB of cloud capacity, every Watt of solar power, every
- 7:03Tesla, every satellite consumes silver.
- 7:07And all these Chinese electric cars, right, which are taking
- 7:11over the world that are now starting to implement
- 7:14solid-state batteries will all have around a kilogram or about
- 7:1832 Troy ounces of silver, each of them oil powered.
- 7:22The last century silver Powers this one OK that's talking about
- 7:28this this just to prove what an energy shock we're going for
- 7:31going through. Sung Hung Lee put this out the
- 7:34current the current energy crisis is equal to about 20
- 7:39million barrels of oil per day. Looking at that from historic
- 7:43perspective, the Iranian revolution in 78 was only 5
- 7:47million. Yom Kippur war about 5 million
- 7:50the Gulf War about 5 million the Iraq war about two million.
- 7:55We are going through a major energy crisis right now.
- 7:59Global oil output just fell by 20 million barrels.
- 8:02The world's demand for silver is already running at 250 million
- 8:08oz annual deficit. Solar manufacturers are
- 8:12consuming record tons energy data center expansion driven by
- 8:18AI. Yet silver supply is flat capped
- 8:23by years of underinvestment in ESG lip service.
- 8:28Yes, there's not a big, huge new supply of silver coming on to
- 8:34the market. I got to look at you when I say
- 8:36this, OK? Because no one has been
- 8:41investing in exploring, developing or building new
- 8:45silver mines. Only the visionaries, only
- 8:47people like Keith Newmeyer at First Majestic Silver, Galen
- 8:52McNamara at Silver, 47 of the people at what used to be
- 8:56called. Anyway, that's the point.
- 8:57There's there's a handful of companies that have been
- 9:00exploring. There's the other key thing to
- 9:03remember, 70% of silver, 70% of the silver that comes to the
- 9:10market every year is found by accident.
- 9:14It's a by product of copper mining, zinc mining, lead
- 9:18mining. They aren't going to be able to
- 9:20turn the switch. OK, I, I digress.
- 9:22I always love, we love to hear that.
- 9:24I mean, we got to remind ourselves of these things
- 9:26because it really is stunning how silver is set up right now.
- 9:31Back to the article from the Silver Academy in green.
- 9:35The green transition was sold as oil's replacement, but I forgot
- 9:39to mention the raw material bottleneck at its core.
- 9:43With silver, there is no solar grid.
- 9:46Without silver, there is no AI. Without silver, the digital
- 9:50revolution is nothing but noise and heat, and each missile and
- 9:54torpedo that explodes is chocked full of silver that was just
- 9:59wasted and vaporized. Gone forever guys.
- 10:04OK, now combine that with the greatest energy shock in human
- 10:09history. Energy scarcity, inflation
- 10:13spikes, a collapsing Fiat system.
- 10:16The same pattern that made oil barons rich in the 1970s is
- 10:22about to make silver investors legends in the twenty 20s.
- 10:27That is where reality, excuse me, meets opportunity.
- 10:32Wow, wow, wow. Think of all the things that we
- 10:36just heard mic drop for the Silver Academy.
- 10:39I think that was an unbelievable article pointing out the future
- 10:44set up the precipice that we are standing on in the silver market
- 10:48right now. But wait, there's more because
- 10:50remember what we talked about at the beginning of this live
- 10:52stream video? On top of that, the Comex has
- 10:56lost control. I would say that the price
- 10:58manipulation is over. You can't say that we have $80
- 11:02silver and that they're still manipulating the price down.
- 11:05Now, at this point, we'll be well, we won't be happy about
- 11:09any manipulation, but most likely they might want to
- 11:13consider manipulating the price to the upside because they're
- 11:16going to learn what we know already, what we just talked
- 11:19about, which is a big deal. Now if you want to get your
- 11:22hands on, do you like physical silver?
- 11:25I bet you do. I personally think physical
- 11:27silver is prettier than gold. Although I take the ounce of
- 11:30gold, we know that's worth more. Anyhow, if you love silver like
- 11:35I love silver, check out channel sponsor First Mint.
- 11:38There a silver specialist mint located in Las Vegas, NV owned
- 11:43by First Majestic Silver. So when you get these world
- 11:46class silver bullion products from First Mint, it literally is
- 11:51going from the mine to the mint to you.
- 11:55Safe to say it's the freshest silver on the market.
- 11:58But it's not just the freshest, it is the most beautiful.
- 12:02Today I'm going to show you their brand new year of the
- 12:05horse coin. Isn't that absolutely stunning?
- 12:10OK, to celebrate the Chinese New Year, year of the horse Man, I
- 12:14just love silver. I bet you do too, the way that
- 12:16it feels in your hands. If you want to experience a
- 12:19premium retail silver buying experience, check out First Met.
- 12:24Let me show you their website right now.
- 12:28There we go. This is first mint.com.
- 12:33You can peruse look at all the different products that they
- 12:36offer and wow, look at that cast bar.
- 12:39They have bars, rounds, all types of products and I need to
- 12:44share the right screen. There we go.
- 12:46Now we're at first mint.com. There's that year of the horse I
- 12:49just showed you. Let me scroll through here.
- 12:52You're the the the Buffalo round, the Las Vegas round.
- 12:55There's those cast bars I was just talking about.
- 12:58Don't forget guys you can also get a little discount with a
- 13:02discount code special for us basement dwellers VIP like very
- 13:07important person RB like Ron's basement.
- 13:10Let's get back to this energy shock.
- 13:12This will help Silver OK and the and the data is absolutely
- 13:17stunning The seriousness that this energy shock is presenting
- 13:22is absolutely stunning and and generally not known by most
- 13:27people. So here you go.
- 13:29Nobody knows how messed up the global fuel situation actually
- 13:34is. Listen, listen this is
- 13:36incredible. Vietnam told people to work from
- 13:38home because they're running out of fuel.
- 13:40Bangladesh started fuel rationing, limiting on how much
- 13:46you can pump Asia wide petrol prices surging.
- 13:49Traders can't even find alternative supply.
- 13:52Thousands of flights canceled, airlines rerouting everything.
- 13:56British Airways company stock down 6%.
- 13:59U.S. Airways US Airlines had stopped
- 14:02hedging fuel years ago. Now they're eating the the high
- 14:06prices basically everywhere in the world.
- 14:10And this is the reaction that the world governments have at
- 14:15this point is to release oil from their strategic reserves.
- 14:19That's a temporary patch, guys. It's it's a situation that is,
- 14:25is, is very, very, very, very scary at this point.
- 14:30OK. Now, on top of that, there's a
- 14:33lot going on in the world. Uncertainty is a is a big driver
- 14:38of the gold and the silver prices.
- 14:41Gold and silver have always for thousands of years been a safe
- 14:45haven investment. And let's go take a look right
- 14:49now at what I ran. We're going to look at some of
- 14:51the things going around the world, what I ran recently said,
- 14:54a whole new level of scary about what is unfolding with this war
- 15:00that's currently waging, raging. Hold on here.
- 15:04There we go. OK, from the Kobesi letter,
- 15:12Breaking Iran now announces that facilities associated with major
- 15:18US tech companies could become targets next.
- 15:22They specifically note that Amazon, Microsoft, NVIDIA, IBM,
- 15:28Oracle, and Palantir are all potential targets across Israel,
- 15:33Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Think of the uncertainty that
- 15:38this is bringing to that region. They already are having a hard
- 15:41time because the Straits of Hormuz are closed.
- 15:44Obviously they can't ship their oil out, so they're losing a lot
- 15:48of money there. But even just as important that
- 15:51that nobody's really talking about the other side of that
- 15:54situation is that that Strait of Hormuz oil goes out, but food
- 16:00comes in. I've heard that almost 80% of
- 16:03the food that's that's consumed in those Gulf cooperation
- 16:07countries, the group of countries there, Bahrain, Saudi
- 16:11Arabia, the whole the all those countries, 80% of their food
- 16:16that they consume comes into them.
- 16:18But it comes in through the Strait of Hormuz.
- 16:22Now we've got Iran talking about targeting big US tech companies
- 16:27in that region, guys, I mean, think about how the world has
- 16:30changed, how warfare has changed.
- 16:32Think about the uncertainty that this is creating absolutely
- 16:36everywhere. But now let's talk about
- 16:38something on the bright side, something good positive about
- 16:43silver. You know, it's it's it never
- 16:46ends. The good news that we get about
- 16:48the future of silver. And this is super interesting.
- 16:52This comes from a website called The Bright Side News.
- 16:56OK, and this one got swept under the rug, but look at, look at,
- 17:00look at what's happening. Scientists are using atomic
- 17:04switches to reliably connect individual molecules to
- 17:09electrodes. I'll explain what that means in
- 17:11one second. Japanese researchers use, I'll
- 17:14highlight it right here. Silver, remember what we talked
- 17:19about earlier? Silver is the new oil.
- 17:21Silver is the the lifeblood of new energy and information age.
- 17:28Silver atomic switches to form stable single molecule wires.
- 17:34How small that is Edging closer to ultra compact low power
- 17:39electronics. I didn't do too good in physics
- 17:44in high school, but I'll do my best to explain this in yellow.
- 17:48Electronics keep shrinking and we all know that's true.
- 17:54It all gets smaller. But silicone is starting to run
- 17:58into physical limits. Everything now is printed on
- 18:02silicone wafer chips. OK, 2GO smaller researchers are
- 18:06turning to something far tinier than any transistor on a chip.
- 18:12Single molecules that act as circuit elements in their own
- 18:16right. This is fascinating.
- 18:18And I think I had one more thing.
- 18:20Yes. OK, the Japanese team that's
- 18:23developing this chose a different route.
- 18:26They built an atomic switch on a thin layer of tenant Tulum oxide
- 18:32known as TA2O2. Well, we will soon forget that
- 18:37on one side it sits silver, on the other side a counter
- 18:44electrode. So this just demonstrates to us
- 18:47in no uncertain terms, right, that the use for silver, we know
- 18:51it's the world's most electric, electrically conductive metal,
- 18:55amongst other incredible things. But also the key thing for us to
- 18:59remember is that there are more. There are there's no other metal
- 19:04that has as many patents associated with it at the United
- 19:08States Patent and Trade Office as silver.
- 19:11OK, more to come. Come, Max, let's go from
- 19:14molecules to one of our favorite subjects, the electronic paper.
- 19:20What we like to refer to is it's fantasy island silver.
- 19:23The Comex is cooked at this point.
- 19:27We're going to look at some data before we do that.
- 19:29Thank you to 1st Mining Gold for sponsoring Ron's Basement there,
- 19:34a development stage gold mining company with two huge gold
- 19:39projects in Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario and Du Parquet
- 19:44located in Quebec, each separately have millions of Oz
- 19:49of gold in the ground in Canada, which is becoming a scarcity,
- 19:54big projects underdevelopment that are in good jurisdictions.
- 19:59You can learn more about the company at firstmininggold.com.
- 20:02Always remember anything that I talk about.
- 20:05I'm not a financial advisor, always do your own research.
- 20:09But First Mining Gold is a stock that I've owned and I owned it
- 20:13long, long before they sponsored my Ron's Basement channel.
- 20:17Oh yeah, the Comex. We love the Comex, don't we?
- 20:22We're all the make believe silver in the world stands.
- 20:25And let's talk about what's happening at the Comex.
- 20:29This one comes from a guy who's becoming super popular.
- 20:34International stacker. And here we go, Alert.
- 20:38Oh, this is interesting. The Comex, the LBMA, the
- 20:42Shanghai Futures Exchange and the Shanghai Gold Exchange.
- 20:47Silver vaults are draining fast and the normies are still
- 20:53asleep. There's a reason why that's
- 20:55important. OK?
- 20:56People will look you dead in the eye and say, quote, it's fine.
- 21:00This is normal. Nothing to see here, but just
- 21:05because the vaults have never run dry in history doesn't mean
- 21:10that they won't this time. Normalcy bias is killing people
- 21:16in the markets right now. Quote, it's always been this way
- 21:20is the most dangerous phrase ever in stacking and guys, that
- 21:26is powerful because I've heard it described as recency bias,
- 21:31normalcy bias. I was talking to a friend of
- 21:33mine last night who's a big, big investor, very wealthy guy and
- 21:37he was like, I'm buying stocks because because you know, this
- 21:41always happens and it always comes back and I said, you know,
- 21:44I know it has like during our lifetime, but that's not that
- 21:48long. You're talking like 30-40 years.
- 21:50Just because something has never happened in 30-40 years doesn't
- 21:55mean that it can never happen. And that applies to the COMEX
- 22:00and the LBMA. And we're going to talk about
- 22:05another key important thing to remember about these vaults or
- 22:07the Shanghai Futures Exchange or the Shanghai Gold Exchange or
- 22:11the COMEX or the LBMA, all four of those exchanges, just because
- 22:16they've never had a cataclysmic event, we'll call it, that
- 22:23doesn't mean that it can't happen, right?
- 22:26There were people in the South in the United States, right?
- 22:30The South when there was a civil war that had a Confederate
- 22:34dollars and they can sit around and say, well, the Confederate
- 22:36dollars always had value. Well, it did until it didn't,
- 22:40right? The same thing can be said about
- 22:41the German Was it Deutsche Mark during the Weimar thing right?
- 22:45Where they had hyperinflation where people were literally
- 22:48bringing wheelbarrows full of cash to the bakery to get one
- 22:52loaf of bread. 2 years earlier they could have said, well the
- 22:55Deutsche Marks always had value so it always will.
- 22:58This also applies to the US dollar, right?
- 23:01Which look, I live in the United States, love this country.
- 23:04I don't like the decisions that they made, particularly one in
- 23:071971 when President Nixon decided to take us off the gold
- 23:11standard. Anyway, I digress.
- 23:14I agree with International Stacker.
- 23:16I don't know how you feel about this, but I mean, seriously,
- 23:20just because there's never been a major issue, if they can
- 23:23people say, well, they can always, you know, do this, roll
- 23:27it forward, close. And yeah, they can.
- 23:29But you can only kick the can for so long.
- 23:32And we are consider this, we are living in a period of major
- 23:38worldwide geopolitical turmoil and worldwide financial turmoil
- 23:44like never, ever before. Do you know how much debt the
- 23:48world has? I won't go down that path.
- 23:50But guys, don't rule anything out.
- 23:53Now let's go to the COMEX. Let's focus in on our friends at
- 23:57the COMEX because it's interesting what's happening at
- 24:00the COMEX. I think we are setting records
- 24:03from metal charts. COMEX silver inventory update.
- 24:06This is as of yesterday, March 10th.
- 24:08Registered inventory is now healthy below or I should say
- 24:15unhealthy below 80 million oz. OK.
- 24:19Eligible really doesn't matter, but the registered leverage,
- 24:25it's because registered is the actual physical silver that they
- 24:28have in the vault that backs up the actual futures contracts.
- 24:32And it is, as you can see, the second part highlighted in
- 24:35yellow at a 7.27 leverage rate. That means that for every
- 24:41futures contract oz that's out there, OK, there's seven of
- 24:46those make believe fantasy island deplane deplane boss,
- 24:50right? There's seven fantasy Island
- 24:53make believe electronic paper ounces of silver for each one
- 24:57real ounce of silver in the vault.
- 24:59The crazy part here is the 30 day change is down 45,000,000
- 25:05oz. And when it comes to it that
- 25:08comes from a total inventory perspective, we are at a new one
- 25:13year low in total between registered and and eligible.
- 25:19Yes of 345,000,000 registered is in freefall.
- 25:25Another 1.5 million oz gone yesterday.
- 25:29Leverage screaming it's 7.27 times and climbing every
- 25:34deliverable oz is back as backing more paper than ever.
- 25:4045,000,000 oz vanished in 30 days.
- 25:43How high does leverage go before something breaks?
- 25:49Huh? Now let's look at this.
- 25:50This is incredible. Hold on, maybe, maybe this is
- 25:57just an incredible coincidence, but the next data that I'm going
- 26:01to show you, it's very simple and like we talked about
- 26:05earlier, coincidental, coincidentally with silver
- 26:08becoming the new oil. Maybe it applies to this next
- 26:12data that we're going to look at because this is absolutely
- 26:15stunning. Here we go and boom from
- 26:19Justario, fun fact, silver crashed from $120.00 all the way
- 26:26to 77 dollars. Remember that?
- 26:28And that happened in 36 hours in January.
- 26:31OK, 120 to 77 and 36 hours. Oil just crashed from the same
- 26:39thing, Exactly $120.00 to $77 and 36 hours.
- 26:47Hell of a coincidence, right? Yeah, maybe a little more than a
- 26:52coincidence. Let's go over to China for a
- 26:54quick update from our friend the Oriental Ghost.
- 26:56Because there's a gold. We're going to switch to gold, a
- 27:00gold frenzy right now in China, and then we're going to talk
- 27:04about some doom and gloom in the US and world economy.
- 27:09But when we look at gold in China, he said that the China
- 27:13Construction Bank, which is one of the big four banks in China,
- 27:18is basically putting limits on the amount of gold that can be
- 27:23bought and it's taking longer to deliver it.
- 27:25They're implementing dynamic transaction limits for gold
- 27:29trading in the physical delivery will now be done in 10 to 15
- 27:33days after the order is placed because of rapid growth growth
- 27:37in gold purchases. OK, wow.
- 27:40Now we're going to move on to uncertainty.
- 27:43But if you want to protect yourself from a little
- 27:45uncertainty, don't forget our good friends at Dirty Man Safe.

- 28:08you store your valuables, but right, if you want to store your

- 28:16and thousands of years, people store valuables in the ground.
- 28:20This you bury, there it is right there.
- 28:22Dirty man. Hold on.

- 28:36When I got my first dirty Man safe, I was like, wow, this is
- 28:40impressive. I mean, they unscrew at the
- 28:42bottom and then there's a lot of room in there.
- 28:46How much silver could you stack in there?
- 28:48Not that you would put silver and bury it in your yard.
- 28:50I'm not. I'm not.
- 28:52I'm not insinuating anything. But you put the cap back on,
- 28:55seal it up tight, put it in the ground and you've got your
- 28:59silver, whatever you're storing safe and secure.

- 29:13to be affiliated with them. So check out Dirty Man Safe,
- 29:16super interesting, super quality product.
- 29:18Let's talk about uncertainty and doom in the world right now.
- 29:23Let's start with the world uncertainty index.
- 29:26Look at this guy's absolutely stunning what is going on in the
- 29:31world bar chart, which is a big account, 500,000 followers put
- 29:36this out. The world reached the highest
- 29:39level of uncertainty in history this year.
- 29:46Let that sink in, surpassing and I am not sharing.
- 29:51Thank you upstairs Susie. Everybody say hi to upstairs
- 29:54Susie in the comments. Tell her thank you.
- 29:57She saves us sometimes forget to share screens.
- 30:00We do. We do do the best we can.
- 30:02And I apologize for any technical difficulties, but the
- 30:06world reached the highest level of uncertainty in history this
- 30:09year. More uncertainty than COVID
- 30:12note, more uncertainty than the global financial crisis, more
- 30:17uncertainty than evenwhenthe.com bubble burst.
- 30:20And look at this chart. Unbelievable.
- 30:24Here we are on the chart right now.
- 30:27OK, this was C-19. OK, this was would have been
- 30:33around when the tech bubble burst back then.
- 30:36This is, I understand it is measured by one of the Federal
- 30:40Reserve. One of the Federal Reserve Banks
- 30:44keeps a chart of this and the way they measure it, which is
- 30:48interesting as I understand it is by by counting the number of
- 30:53times the big publicly traded companies mention the word
- 30:58uncertainty in their public disclosures during their
- 31:01conference calls and what not. So uncertainty is big.
- 31:04Uncertainty will be a major driver, always has been for
- 31:09thousands of years, a major driver for the precious metal
- 31:14sector and will continue. What about trouble in the United
- 31:17States? Let's go out and take a look at
- 31:19this because this morning, surprise, surprise, surprise,
- 31:24the United States government modified their numbers when it
- 31:28comes to jobs. They now say that they're
- 31:31revising down the jobs numbers from each of the last 13 months
- 31:37by a total of over 700,000 jobs. I mean, how do they expect us to
- 31:45take them seriously? They come out with these quote
- 31:47UN quote jobs numbers every month.
- 31:50Are we to presume that those numbers are being compiled by
- 31:53like a fifth grade math class somewhere, right?
- 31:56700,000 jobs, they were off, they were wrong over the last 13
- 32:02months. So the question that we have for
- 32:04the Bureau of Labor and Statistics would be that all
- 32:08those people with make believe jobs over the last 13 months,
- 32:13were they cashing make believe paychecks?
- 32:15I don't know guys. I mean, do they expect us to to
- 32:19believe the GDP numbers? Do they expect us, and we've
- 32:22talked a lot about this, to believe the the inflation
- 32:26numbers, the CPI, I don't call it this.
- 32:30I don't want to get in any trouble, but I've heard from
- 32:33other people call the CPI number, the CPY number.
- 32:39Things are are getting dicey in the US economy.
- 32:43And there's one more major piece of data which shows us that in
- 32:47no uncertain terms that right now the US economy, the average
- 32:53people like Susie and I upstairs, Susie, we're average
- 32:57people, we're raising a family. It's tough, OK, But we've got
- 33:01real numbers to prove just how tough it really is when Vanguard
- 33:06Investments shares what I think is a scary and shocking piece of
- 33:11data about the US economy and the health of our fellow average
- 33:16Americans and people really all over the world.
- 33:18I know you guys are joining from everywhere in the world.
- 33:21Americans are taking hardship withdrawals from their
- 33:28retirement accounts at the fastest pace in history, warns
- 33:35Vanguard. Let's break this down.
- 33:37A hardship withdrawal means you are broke and people will only
- 33:42take money out of their 401 KS, out of their out of their IRA's
- 33:47as a absolute last case resort because you do have to pay
- 33:52taxes, income taxes on that money and on top of that you pay
- 33:56a a 10% penalty as well. Those are retirement accounts
- 34:01and that's happening now at the fastest pace in history and
- 34:06that's from Vanguard, who is if not the largest, one of the
- 34:11largest administrators of four O 1K and retirement accounts.
- 34:16Where does this lead when it comes to the precious metal
- 34:20sector? Look guys, it leads only to one
- 34:23place and that is quite simply money printing, OK, as the US,
- 34:28the United States is a consumer based economy and consumer
- 34:33spending is down. We know that as well as things
- 34:36get harder and harder out there in this economy continues to
- 34:41stagnate or even go into a recession.
- 34:45OK, The the the Fed is only only has one trick up their sleeve
- 34:50and that is to print money. They are not, they are not going
- 34:55to let the US economy crash and burn because the ultra wealthy
- 35:00that have all the stocks, all the wealth in this country, they
- 35:04actually get big, big benefits when the Federal Reserve prints
- 35:09money. And when that happens, when the
- 35:12Federal Reserve prints money, that will create even more
- 35:16inflation than we have now. And don't forget one key
- 35:19critical thing. Inflation and devaluation of the
- 35:24US dollar are the same exact thing, right?
- 35:27They, they define each other. They're the, they're, they're
- 35:30the different sides to the same coin.
- 35:32And as the value of the US dollar goes down, that will be
- 35:36good for the price of gold and silver.
- 35:39There will be a lot of short term noise.
- 35:42Excuse me, believe me, right. There'll be days where you
- 35:45think, wow, the dollar went down.
- 35:47But so that short term doesn't matter if you're investing in
- 35:52gold and silver and precious metal mining stocks, it's so
- 35:56critical that we have a long term perspective on where, where
- 36:01we on where we see things going. There will be short term
- 36:05manipulation, no doubt about it. But in the long run, the only
- 36:10absolute only a result that can happen are more value in real
- 36:16terms and nominal terms either way, going to the precious
- 36:21metals. It's an unfortunate situation
- 36:24that you and I didn't create, right?
- 36:27But just because it's unfortunate doesn't mean we put
- 36:30our heads in the sand and and act like it's not happening.
- 36:34You have courage, right? I think I have courage to
- 36:37actually dig in to what's happening.
- 36:39I've been talking about it for years and years.
- 36:42People that I talked about that with this 10 years ago, five
- 36:45years ago are now like, Oh yeah, you know what?
- 36:48What you said was actually true. And I'm like, well, yeah, I'm
- 36:51not. And I'm not taking a victory at
- 36:53all, right? To me, when you dig in like you
- 36:57do, like I do, it becomes very, very clear, right?
- 37:01What is happening right now. I mean, my gosh, guys, go back
- 37:05to 1971 when President Richard Nixon temporarily remember that,
- 37:11right, tip this, He said it temporarily took the United
- 37:15States off the gold standard. From then till now, the US
- 37:20dollar has lost 9598. I've heard 99% of its value
- 37:27versus gold, for example. OK, this, it, it, it, you know,
- 37:33and, and, and people like Ray Dalio, right?
- 37:36The guy that founded the world's biggest hedge fund started it in
- 37:41an apartment, right, and grew it into the world's biggest hedge
- 37:45fund. He's somebody we will pay
- 37:47attention to. He talks about the inevitability
- 37:50of this happening as well. I don't want to be negative.
- 37:54I wish they never took us off the gold standard.
- 37:56You probably do too. I wouldn't be down here, right?
- 37:59We'd be out enjoying better lives like everybody had back in
- 38:031970. If you're as old as me, I was
- 38:07born in 1970 anyway, right? This is the reality of what is
- 38:12going on. I think it's almost
- 38:14irresponsible not to, not to recognize what's happening and
- 38:19to protect yourself, protect your family and everything in
- 38:22between. The outlook for silver in
- 38:25particular is so great. Guys, silver is on the precipice
- 38:32of greatness. OK?
- 38:33Like, like the Silver Academy said, right?
- 38:36The last century was all about oil.
- 38:39I think it's very likely right. At minimum, this next century is
- 38:44going to be a lot more about silver.
- 38:47And I think the potentials there for it to be quite literally the
- 38:51Silver century. I don't know that all of us are
- 38:53going to live to see how great it actually is, but our heirs
- 38:57will. I I strongly believe because
- 39:02silver is everything when it comes to technology, Silver is
- 39:07becoming even more critical when it comes to energy as well.
- 39:14On top of that, two things, we have an energy crisis right now
- 39:18in this country. And on top of that, even more
- 39:22exciting for silver is the basic supply demand, fundamental
- 39:27picture that is in place right now.
- 39:30They can't. Phillips Baker, the CEO, the ex
- 39:33CEO, the ex CEO, long time CEO of Hecla Mining, the United
- 39:38States largest and oldest silver mining company.
- 39:41He said it on a Kitco interview, right, that the silver mining
- 39:45sector cannot increase production anytime before the
- 39:50year 2030. And from there any, excuse me,
- 39:54increases are likely to be minuscule.
- 39:58Don't forget, like we said earlier, 70% of the world's
- 40:03silver that's produced every year, 70% is produced on
- 40:09accident. I love that.
- 40:13I forget who brought that, who said that.
- 40:14I didn't create that saying, but it's a powerful saying that we
- 40:18can all share together. OK, So they can.
- 40:21The people that are producing silver by accident aren't going
- 40:25to go out and suddenly try to increase the amount of silver
- 40:29that they're producing. All right, guys, hey, if you've
- 40:32enjoyed your time here in the basement, I really enjoyed the
- 40:35time that I've spent with you. OK?
- 40:37This is like the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood for silver and gold
- 40:41investors. Please subscribe to the channel.
- 40:44Give this a thumbs up. That way we get the word out to
- 40:46more and more people. And I'm going to look forward to
- 40:49seeing you next time in the basement.
- 40:51Have a great day and I'll see you.
- 40:53And yes, I see you. I'll see you next time.
