The End of SILVER MANIPULATION: This Happens Next ⏰ - (Precious Metals NEWS) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
End of silver price manipulation.
0:03
I'll explain, but we're also on the precipice of something
0:07
incredible for silver. Two big light bulb moments that
0:11
I'm going to share with you. We're going to learn a lot
0:14
today, but I was thinking earlier, is this the end of the
0:18
silver price manipulation? People have been complaining
0:22
about it for what, decades and decades?
0:26
I want you to consider something very important as we sit here
0:29
today with the silver price above $80 per oz, how can we
0:35
still say that the silver price is being manipulated to the
0:39
downside? Now look, if we get the $70.60
0:43
dollar, $50 per oz silver, maybe we can say it's being
0:48
manipulated down. If we get below $50, absolutely.
0:52
I don't think that's going to happen.
0:54
We basement dwellers, right that love gold and silver, We don't
0:58
want to see that happen. But I think it's safe for us to
1:02
say if we do indeed level out, build a base with the silver
1:06
price above $70 per oz, then we can officially declare that the
1:11
the downward manipulation of the silver price has for all intents
1:17
and purposes ended. And Rick Rule said something I
1:20
don't know a year ago. Rick Rules like the most
1:23
respected, one of the most respected people in the precious
1:27
metal sector. I remember hearing him say that
1:30
the manipulators are manipulators.
1:32
They won't only manipulate the price to the downside, They're
1:37
just as happy to manipulate it to the upside.
1:41
And think about what happened when we had that surge in the
1:44
silver price all the way to $120.00 per oz.
1:49
Was that manipulation to the upside?
1:53
But think about it, right? These, these traders, these,
1:56
these people that deal with the futures contracts, they don't,
2:00
they just want to make money. They don't care if they're
2:02
making money, pushing it down artificially, which made us all
2:06
mad. Don't get me wrong, I'm not
2:08
minimizing the impact of that, but they're also just as happy
2:12
to see it manipulated to the upside and for them to make
2:15
money off that as well. In guys we've not seen anything
2:20
yet. Like I just said, that price
2:23
increase that we had up to $120.00 per oz and I've got some
2:28
crazy data we're going to look at later in regard to that,
2:31
right? That was not a squeeze, that was
2:34
a surge. We are now going to officially
2:36
label that as the silver surge. The silver squeeze is still yet
2:42
to come for this cycle. And what we want to see happen,
2:47
this is very important, is for this next squeeze to happen
2:51
after the silver price has gone up significantly from here,
2:57
maybe after it consolidated for a few months at $120.00 or 140
3:03
or even $150.00. That's how we see a squeeze up
3:07
to the 405 hundred dollar level. I've never sold an ounce of
3:12
silver in my life. But if we see a situation where
3:16
we go up significantly from here, consolidate and then have
3:20
a squeeze, I'll keep you posted if I ever do.
3:23
I'll be 100% transparent if I ever do sell an ounce of
3:27
physical silver, but that's not all because because we are on
3:30
the precipice of something huge in the silver world, right?
3:34
We are going through right now an energy crisis and silver is
3:40
emerging like none of us could have ever imagined as the new
3:44
energy metal. Let's dig into this because it
3:47
is absolutely fascinating. Almost as fascinating and good
3:52
is the fact that you decided to join me, basement dwellers.
3:55
That's what we call ourselves down here in the basement.
3:58
Talk about gold and silver, please.
4:00
I'll be quick Subscribe to the channel press that button press
4:04
the thumbs up button. Leave a comment in the comment
4:07
section. You don't have to agree with me
4:10
or with anybody else. That's how we learn is from each
4:13
other and super chat. Super thanks, always super
4:15
appreciated. Never ever expected.
4:18
Check this out guys. There's a lot to dig in here
4:22
from this excellent article from the Silver Academy.
4:25
I've got it all highlighted for you in different colors.
4:28
Oil Armageddon, We're going to dig into that a little bit as
4:31
well. We are living through a historic
4:34
time as 20 million barrels vanish overnight.
4:38
Silver becomes the new oil. I want you to look at that on
4:43
red, in red on your screen. Hold on one second here, guys.
4:49
As usual, we're having a little tech issue.
4:53
Bear with me. Hold on here.
4:57
Hopefully you can see me and hear me.
5:01
Hold on. Uh oh, Susie, if you could let
5:05
me know if they can see the article.
5:08
You can see the article. OK, guys, I'll be right back
5:11
because I can't see the article, but we're going to.
5:14
I'm coming right there. Hold on one second.
5:19
Hold on one second. I won't start singing.
5:22
I promise. And I think we're almost back.
5:29
Here we go. OK, we're back.
5:32
Oil, Armageddon. 20 million barrels vanish overnight.
5:35
Silver becomes the new oil. Now, please stare at that red
5:39
part and realize that is critically important.
5:42
Soon you will understand why 20 million barrels a day gone.
5:46
The Strait of Hormuz sealed the world's energy artery cut in
5:49
half. But oil isn't the only story
5:52
anymore. What happens next?
5:54
We'll rewrite every portfolio, every supply chain, every
6:00
geopolitical map on Earth, because the next chapter isn't
6:05
written about oil. It's written about silver.
6:10
Silver is no longer just a precious metal.
6:13
It is the bloodstream of the digital age.
6:17
It powers every data center, every solar panel, every EV
6:20
charging grid, every communication network.
6:23
It is the most conductive metal known to humanity, the only
6:28
material that can move electricity with virtually zero
6:33
loss. The key thing here to realize,
6:35
guys, is the last 100 years was the age of oil.
6:39
It was everything. It powered everything.
6:41
I'm not saying that oil is going away, but silver is emerging as
6:47
a competitor. And the new oil data centers are
6:51
the new factories. AI servers are the new steel
6:54
mills. But here's the catch.
6:56
Every TB of cloud capacity, every Watt of solar power, every
7:03
Tesla, every satellite consumes silver.
7:07
And all these Chinese electric cars, right, which are taking
7:11
over the world that are now starting to implement
7:14
solid-state batteries will all have around a kilogram or about
7:18
32 Troy ounces of silver, each of them oil powered.
7:22
The last century silver Powers this one OK that's talking about
7:28
this this just to prove what an energy shock we're going for
7:31
going through. Sung Hung Lee put this out the
7:34
current the current energy crisis is equal to about 20
7:39
million barrels of oil per day. Looking at that from historic
7:43
perspective, the Iranian revolution in 78 was only 5
7:47
million. Yom Kippur war about 5 million
7:50
the Gulf War about 5 million the Iraq war about two million.
7:55
We are going through a major energy crisis right now.
7:59
Global oil output just fell by 20 million barrels.
8:02
The world's demand for silver is already running at 250 million
8:08
oz annual deficit. Solar manufacturers are
8:12
consuming record tons energy data center expansion driven by
8:18
AI. Yet silver supply is flat capped
8:23
by years of underinvestment in ESG lip service.
8:28
Yes, there's not a big, huge new supply of silver coming on to
8:34
the market. I got to look at you when I say
8:36
this, OK? Because no one has been
8:41
investing in exploring, developing or building new
8:45
silver mines. Only the visionaries, only
8:47
people like Keith Newmeyer at First Majestic Silver, Galen
8:52
McNamara at Silver, 47 of the people at what used to be
8:56
called. Anyway, that's the point.
8:57
There's there's a handful of companies that have been
9:00
exploring. There's the other key thing to
9:03
remember, 70% of silver, 70% of the silver that comes to the
9:10
market every year is found by accident.
9:14
It's a by product of copper mining, zinc mining, lead
9:18
mining. They aren't going to be able to
9:20
turn the switch. OK, I, I digress.
9:22
I always love, we love to hear that.
9:24
I mean, we got to remind ourselves of these things
9:26
because it really is stunning how silver is set up right now.
9:31
Back to the article from the Silver Academy in green.
9:35
The green transition was sold as oil's replacement, but I forgot
9:39
to mention the raw material bottleneck at its core.
9:43
With silver, there is no solar grid.
9:46
Without silver, there is no AI. Without silver, the digital
9:50
revolution is nothing but noise and heat, and each missile and
9:54
torpedo that explodes is chocked full of silver that was just
9:59
wasted and vaporized. Gone forever guys.
10:04
OK, now combine that with the greatest energy shock in human
10:09
history. Energy scarcity, inflation
10:13
spikes, a collapsing Fiat system.
10:16
The same pattern that made oil barons rich in the 1970s is
10:22
about to make silver investors legends in the twenty 20s.
10:27
That is where reality, excuse me, meets opportunity.
10:32
Wow, wow, wow. Think of all the things that we
10:36
just heard mic drop for the Silver Academy.
10:39
I think that was an unbelievable article pointing out the future
10:44
set up the precipice that we are standing on in the silver market
10:48
right now. But wait, there's more because
10:50
remember what we talked about at the beginning of this live
10:52
stream video? On top of that, the Comex has
10:56
lost control. I would say that the price
10:58
manipulation is over. You can't say that we have $80
11:02
silver and that they're still manipulating the price down.
11:05
Now, at this point, we'll be well, we won't be happy about
11:09
any manipulation, but most likely they might want to
11:13
consider manipulating the price to the upside because they're
11:16
going to learn what we know already, what we just talked
11:19
about, which is a big deal. Now if you want to get your
11:22
hands on, do you like physical silver?
11:25
I bet you do. I personally think physical
11:27
silver is prettier than gold. Although I take the ounce of
11:30
gold, we know that's worth more. Anyhow, if you love silver like
11:35
I love silver, check out channel sponsor First Mint.
11:38
There a silver specialist mint located in Las Vegas, NV owned
11:43
by First Majestic Silver. So when you get these world
11:46
class silver bullion products from First Mint, it literally is
11:51
going from the mine to the mint to you.
11:55
Safe to say it's the freshest silver on the market.
11:58
But it's not just the freshest, it is the most beautiful.
12:02
Today I'm going to show you their brand new year of the
12:05
horse coin. Isn't that absolutely stunning?
12:10
OK, to celebrate the Chinese New Year, year of the horse Man, I
12:14
just love silver. I bet you do too, the way that
12:16
it feels in your hands. If you want to experience a
12:19
premium retail silver buying experience, check out First Met.
12:24
Let me show you their website right now.
12:28
There we go. This is first mint.com.
12:33
You can peruse look at all the different products that they
12:36
offer and wow, look at that cast bar.
12:39
They have bars, rounds, all types of products and I need to
12:44
share the right screen. There we go.
12:46
Now we're at first mint.com. There's that year of the horse I
12:49
just showed you. Let me scroll through here.
12:52
You're the the the Buffalo round, the Las Vegas round.
12:55
There's those cast bars I was just talking about.
12:58
Don't forget guys you can also get a little discount with a
13:02
discount code special for us basement dwellers VIP like very
13:07
important person RB like Ron's basement.
13:10
Let's get back to this energy shock.
13:12
This will help Silver OK and the and the data is absolutely
13:17
stunning The seriousness that this energy shock is presenting
13:22
is absolutely stunning and and generally not known by most
13:27
people. So here you go.
13:29
Nobody knows how messed up the global fuel situation actually
13:34
is. Listen, listen this is
13:36
incredible. Vietnam told people to work from
13:38
home because they're running out of fuel.
13:40
Bangladesh started fuel rationing, limiting on how much
13:46
you can pump Asia wide petrol prices surging.
13:49
Traders can't even find alternative supply.
13:52
Thousands of flights canceled, airlines rerouting everything.
13:56
British Airways company stock down 6%.
13:59
U.S. Airways US Airlines had stopped
14:02
hedging fuel years ago. Now they're eating the the high
14:06
prices basically everywhere in the world.
14:10
And this is the reaction that the world governments have at
14:15
this point is to release oil from their strategic reserves.
14:19
That's a temporary patch, guys. It's it's a situation that is,
14:25
is, is very, very, very, very scary at this point.
14:30
OK. Now, on top of that, there's a
14:33
lot going on in the world. Uncertainty is a is a big driver
14:38
of the gold and the silver prices.
14:41
Gold and silver have always for thousands of years been a safe
14:45
haven investment. And let's go take a look right
14:49
now at what I ran. We're going to look at some of
14:51
the things going around the world, what I ran recently said,
14:54
a whole new level of scary about what is unfolding with this war
15:00
that's currently waging, raging. Hold on here.
15:04
There we go. OK, from the Kobesi letter,
15:12
Breaking Iran now announces that facilities associated with major
15:18
US tech companies could become targets next.
15:22
They specifically note that Amazon, Microsoft, NVIDIA, IBM,
15:28
Oracle, and Palantir are all potential targets across Israel,
15:33
Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Think of the uncertainty that
15:38
this is bringing to that region. They already are having a hard
15:41
time because the Straits of Hormuz are closed.
15:44
Obviously they can't ship their oil out, so they're losing a lot
15:48
of money there. But even just as important that
15:51
that nobody's really talking about the other side of that
15:54
situation is that that Strait of Hormuz oil goes out, but food
16:00
comes in. I've heard that almost 80% of
16:03
the food that's that's consumed in those Gulf cooperation
16:07
countries, the group of countries there, Bahrain, Saudi
16:11
Arabia, the whole the all those countries, 80% of their food
16:16
that they consume comes into them.
16:18
But it comes in through the Strait of Hormuz.
16:22
Now we've got Iran talking about targeting big US tech companies
16:27
in that region, guys, I mean, think about how the world has
16:30
changed, how warfare has changed.
16:32
Think about the uncertainty that this is creating absolutely
16:36
everywhere. But now let's talk about
16:38
something on the bright side, something good positive about
16:43
silver. You know, it's it's it never
16:46
ends. The good news that we get about
16:48
the future of silver. And this is super interesting.
16:52
This comes from a website called The Bright Side News.
16:56
OK, and this one got swept under the rug, but look at, look at,
17:00
look at what's happening. Scientists are using atomic
17:04
switches to reliably connect individual molecules to
17:09
electrodes. I'll explain what that means in
17:11
one second. Japanese researchers use, I'll
17:14
highlight it right here. Silver, remember what we talked
17:19
about earlier? Silver is the new oil.
17:21
Silver is the the lifeblood of new energy and information age.
17:28
Silver atomic switches to form stable single molecule wires.
17:34
How small that is Edging closer to ultra compact low power
17:39
electronics. I didn't do too good in physics
17:44
in high school, but I'll do my best to explain this in yellow.
17:48
Electronics keep shrinking and we all know that's true.
17:54
It all gets smaller. But silicone is starting to run
17:58
into physical limits. Everything now is printed on
18:02
silicone wafer chips. OK, 2GO smaller researchers are
18:06
turning to something far tinier than any transistor on a chip.
18:12
Single molecules that act as circuit elements in their own
18:16
right. This is fascinating.
18:18
And I think I had one more thing.
18:20
Yes. OK, the Japanese team that's
18:23
developing this chose a different route.
18:26
They built an atomic switch on a thin layer of tenant Tulum oxide
18:32
known as TA2O2. Well, we will soon forget that
18:37
on one side it sits silver, on the other side a counter
18:44
electrode. So this just demonstrates to us
18:47
in no uncertain terms, right, that the use for silver, we know
18:51
it's the world's most electric, electrically conductive metal,
18:55
amongst other incredible things. But also the key thing for us to
18:59
remember is that there are more. There are there's no other metal
19:04
that has as many patents associated with it at the United
19:08
States Patent and Trade Office as silver.
19:11
OK, more to come. Come, Max, let's go from
19:14
molecules to one of our favorite subjects, the electronic paper.
19:20
What we like to refer to is it's fantasy island silver.
19:23
The Comex is cooked at this point.
19:27
We're going to look at some data before we do that.
19:29
Thank you to 1st Mining Gold for sponsoring Ron's Basement there,
19:34
a development stage gold mining company with two huge gold
19:39
projects in Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario and Du Parquet
19:44
located in Quebec, each separately have millions of Oz
19:49
of gold in the ground in Canada, which is becoming a scarcity,
19:54
big projects underdevelopment that are in good jurisdictions.
19:59
You can learn more about the company at firstmininggold.com.
20:02
Always remember anything that I talk about.
20:05
I'm not a financial advisor, always do your own research.
20:09
But First Mining Gold is a stock that I've owned and I owned it
20:13
long, long before they sponsored my Ron's Basement channel.
20:17
Oh yeah, the Comex. We love the Comex, don't we?
20:22
We're all the make believe silver in the world stands.
20:25
And let's talk about what's happening at the Comex.
20:29
This one comes from a guy who's becoming super popular.
20:34
International stacker. And here we go, Alert.
20:38
Oh, this is interesting. The Comex, the LBMA, the
20:42
Shanghai Futures Exchange and the Shanghai Gold Exchange.
20:47
Silver vaults are draining fast and the normies are still
20:53
asleep. There's a reason why that's
20:55
important. OK?
20:56
People will look you dead in the eye and say, quote, it's fine.
21:00
This is normal. Nothing to see here, but just
21:05
because the vaults have never run dry in history doesn't mean
21:10
that they won't this time. Normalcy bias is killing people
21:16
in the markets right now. Quote, it's always been this way
21:20
is the most dangerous phrase ever in stacking and guys, that
21:26
is powerful because I've heard it described as recency bias,
21:31
normalcy bias. I was talking to a friend of
21:33
mine last night who's a big, big investor, very wealthy guy and
21:37
he was like, I'm buying stocks because because you know, this
21:41
always happens and it always comes back and I said, you know,
21:44
I know it has like during our lifetime, but that's not that
21:48
long. You're talking like 30-40 years.
21:50
Just because something has never happened in 30-40 years doesn't
21:55
mean that it can never happen. And that applies to the COMEX
22:00
and the LBMA. And we're going to talk about
22:05
another key important thing to remember about these vaults or
22:07
the Shanghai Futures Exchange or the Shanghai Gold Exchange or
22:11
the COMEX or the LBMA, all four of those exchanges, just because
22:16
they've never had a cataclysmic event, we'll call it, that
22:23
doesn't mean that it can't happen, right?
22:26
There were people in the South in the United States, right?
22:30
The South when there was a civil war that had a Confederate
22:34
dollars and they can sit around and say, well, the Confederate
22:36
dollars always had value. Well, it did until it didn't,
22:40
right? The same thing can be said about
22:41
the German Was it Deutsche Mark during the Weimar thing right?
22:45
Where they had hyperinflation where people were literally
22:48
bringing wheelbarrows full of cash to the bakery to get one
22:52
loaf of bread. 2 years earlier they could have said, well the
22:55
Deutsche Marks always had value so it always will.
22:58
This also applies to the US dollar, right?
23:01
Which look, I live in the United States, love this country.
23:04
I don't like the decisions that they made, particularly one in
23:07
1971 when President Nixon decided to take us off the gold
23:11
standard. Anyway, I digress.
23:14
I agree with International Stacker.
23:16
I don't know how you feel about this, but I mean, seriously,
23:20
just because there's never been a major issue, if they can
23:23
people say, well, they can always, you know, do this, roll
23:27
it forward, close. And yeah, they can.
23:29
But you can only kick the can for so long.
23:32
And we are consider this, we are living in a period of major
23:38
worldwide geopolitical turmoil and worldwide financial turmoil
23:44
like never, ever before. Do you know how much debt the
23:48
world has? I won't go down that path.
23:50
But guys, don't rule anything out.
23:53
Now let's go to the COMEX. Let's focus in on our friends at
23:57
the COMEX because it's interesting what's happening at
24:00
the COMEX. I think we are setting records
24:03
from metal charts. COMEX silver inventory update.
24:06
This is as of yesterday, March 10th.
24:08
Registered inventory is now healthy below or I should say
24:15
unhealthy below 80 million oz. OK.
24:19
Eligible really doesn't matter, but the registered leverage,
24:25
it's because registered is the actual physical silver that they
24:28
have in the vault that backs up the actual futures contracts.
24:32
And it is, as you can see, the second part highlighted in
24:35
yellow at a 7.27 leverage rate. That means that for every
24:41
futures contract oz that's out there, OK, there's seven of
24:46
those make believe fantasy island deplane deplane boss,
24:50
right? There's seven fantasy Island
24:53
make believe electronic paper ounces of silver for each one
24:57
real ounce of silver in the vault.
24:59
The crazy part here is the 30 day change is down 45,000,000
25:05
oz. And when it comes to it that
25:08
comes from a total inventory perspective, we are at a new one
25:13
year low in total between registered and and eligible.
25:19
Yes of 345,000,000 registered is in freefall.
25:25
Another 1.5 million oz gone yesterday.
25:29
Leverage screaming it's 7.27 times and climbing every
25:34
deliverable oz is back as backing more paper than ever.
25:40
45,000,000 oz vanished in 30 days.
25:43
How high does leverage go before something breaks?
25:49
Huh? Now let's look at this.
25:50
This is incredible. Hold on, maybe, maybe this is
25:57
just an incredible coincidence, but the next data that I'm going
26:01
to show you, it's very simple and like we talked about
26:05
earlier, coincidental, coincidentally with silver
26:08
becoming the new oil. Maybe it applies to this next
26:12
data that we're going to look at because this is absolutely
26:15
stunning. Here we go and boom from
26:19
Justario, fun fact, silver crashed from $120.00 all the way
26:26
to 77 dollars. Remember that?
26:28
And that happened in 36 hours in January.
26:31
OK, 120 to 77 and 36 hours. Oil just crashed from the same
26:39
thing, Exactly $120.00 to $77 and 36 hours.
26:47
Hell of a coincidence, right? Yeah, maybe a little more than a
26:52
coincidence. Let's go over to China for a
26:54
quick update from our friend the Oriental Ghost.
26:56
Because there's a gold. We're going to switch to gold, a
27:00
gold frenzy right now in China, and then we're going to talk
27:04
about some doom and gloom in the US and world economy.
27:09
But when we look at gold in China, he said that the China
27:13
Construction Bank, which is one of the big four banks in China,
27:18
is basically putting limits on the amount of gold that can be
27:23
bought and it's taking longer to deliver it.
27:25
They're implementing dynamic transaction limits for gold
27:29
trading in the physical delivery will now be done in 10 to 15
27:33
days after the order is placed because of rapid growth growth
27:37
in gold purchases. OK, wow.
27:40
Now we're going to move on to uncertainty.
27:43
But if you want to protect yourself from a little
27:45
uncertainty, don't forget our good friends at Dirty Man Safe.
27:51
I love my dirty man safe. Dirty man safe discount code Ron
27:55
10. These are safes that you can
27:58
store things in in the ground safely and securely.
28:02
Maybe you have a safety deposit box.
28:04
Maybe you have a fireproof safe. It's none of my business where
28:08
you store your valuables, but right, if you want to store your
28:12
valuables in a manner that's been time proven over thousands
28:16
and thousands of years, people store valuables in the ground.
28:20
This you bury, there it is right there.
28:22
Dirty man. Hold on.
28:24
Dirty Man Ron 10 discount code You bury this in the ground,
28:28
there's a sleeve that comes with it.
28:30
You dig a hole, you put this in the sleeve, it's got a nice cap
28:33
on top and these things are incredible.
28:36
When I got my first dirty Man safe, I was like, wow, this is
28:40
impressive. I mean, they unscrew at the
28:42
bottom and then there's a lot of room in there.
28:46
How much silver could you stack in there?
28:48
Not that you would put silver and bury it in your yard.
28:50
I'm not. I'm not.
28:52
I'm not insinuating anything. But you put the cap back on,
28:55
seal it up tight, put it in the ground and you've got your
28:59
silver, whatever you're storing safe and secure.
29:03
Check them out. And don't forget Ron 10 is the
29:07
discount code. Great company, great people that
29:10
run it. It's been a great for my channel
29:13
to be affiliated with them. So check out Dirty Man Safe,
29:16
super interesting, super quality product.
29:18
Let's talk about uncertainty and doom in the world right now.
29:23
Let's start with the world uncertainty index.
29:26
Look at this guy's absolutely stunning what is going on in the
29:31
world bar chart, which is a big account, 500,000 followers put
29:36
this out. The world reached the highest
29:39
level of uncertainty in history this year.
29:46
Let that sink in, surpassing and I am not sharing.
29:51
Thank you upstairs Susie. Everybody say hi to upstairs
29:54
Susie in the comments. Tell her thank you.
29:57
She saves us sometimes forget to share screens.
30:00
We do. We do do the best we can.
30:02
And I apologize for any technical difficulties, but the
30:06
world reached the highest level of uncertainty in history this
30:09
year. More uncertainty than COVID
30:12
note, more uncertainty than the global financial crisis, more
30:17
uncertainty than evenwhenthe.com bubble burst.
30:20
And look at this chart. Unbelievable.
30:24
Here we are on the chart right now.
30:27
OK, this was C-19. OK, this was would have been
30:33
around when the tech bubble burst back then.
30:36
This is, I understand it is measured by one of the Federal
30:40
Reserve. One of the Federal Reserve Banks
30:44
keeps a chart of this and the way they measure it, which is
30:48
interesting as I understand it is by by counting the number of
30:53
times the big publicly traded companies mention the word
30:58
uncertainty in their public disclosures during their
31:01
conference calls and what not. So uncertainty is big.
31:04
Uncertainty will be a major driver, always has been for
31:09
thousands of years, a major driver for the precious metal
31:14
sector and will continue. What about trouble in the United
31:17
States? Let's go out and take a look at
31:19
this because this morning, surprise, surprise, surprise,
31:24
the United States government modified their numbers when it
31:28
comes to jobs. They now say that they're
31:31
revising down the jobs numbers from each of the last 13 months
31:37
by a total of over 700,000 jobs. I mean, how do they expect us to
31:45
take them seriously? They come out with these quote
31:47
UN quote jobs numbers every month.
31:50
Are we to presume that those numbers are being compiled by
31:53
like a fifth grade math class somewhere, right?
31:56
700,000 jobs, they were off, they were wrong over the last 13
32:02
months. So the question that we have for
32:04
the Bureau of Labor and Statistics would be that all
32:08
those people with make believe jobs over the last 13 months,
32:13
were they cashing make believe paychecks?
32:15
I don't know guys. I mean, do they expect us to to
32:19
believe the GDP numbers? Do they expect us, and we've
32:22
talked a lot about this, to believe the the inflation
32:26
numbers, the CPI, I don't call it this.
32:30
I don't want to get in any trouble, but I've heard from
32:33
other people call the CPI number, the CPY number.
32:39
Things are are getting dicey in the US economy.
32:43
And there's one more major piece of data which shows us that in
32:47
no uncertain terms that right now the US economy, the average
32:53
people like Susie and I upstairs, Susie, we're average
32:57
people, we're raising a family. It's tough, OK, But we've got
33:01
real numbers to prove just how tough it really is when Vanguard
33:06
Investments shares what I think is a scary and shocking piece of
33:11
data about the US economy and the health of our fellow average
33:16
Americans and people really all over the world.
33:18
I know you guys are joining from everywhere in the world.
33:21
Americans are taking hardship withdrawals from their
33:28
retirement accounts at the fastest pace in history, warns
33:35
Vanguard. Let's break this down.
33:37
A hardship withdrawal means you are broke and people will only
33:42
take money out of their 401 KS, out of their out of their IRA's
33:47
as a absolute last case resort because you do have to pay
33:52
taxes, income taxes on that money and on top of that you pay
33:56
a a 10% penalty as well. Those are retirement accounts
34:01
and that's happening now at the fastest pace in history and
34:06
that's from Vanguard, who is if not the largest, one of the
34:11
largest administrators of four O 1K and retirement accounts.
34:16
Where does this lead when it comes to the precious metal
34:20
sector? Look guys, it leads only to one
34:23
place and that is quite simply money printing, OK, as the US,
34:28
the United States is a consumer based economy and consumer
34:33
spending is down. We know that as well as things
34:36
get harder and harder out there in this economy continues to
34:41
stagnate or even go into a recession.
34:45
OK, The the the Fed is only only has one trick up their sleeve
34:50
and that is to print money. They are not, they are not going
34:55
to let the US economy crash and burn because the ultra wealthy
35:00
that have all the stocks, all the wealth in this country, they
35:04
actually get big, big benefits when the Federal Reserve prints
35:09
money. And when that happens, when the
35:12
Federal Reserve prints money, that will create even more
35:16
inflation than we have now. And don't forget one key
35:19
critical thing. Inflation and devaluation of the
35:24
US dollar are the same exact thing, right?
35:27
They, they define each other. They're the, they're, they're
35:30
the different sides to the same coin.
35:32
And as the value of the US dollar goes down, that will be
35:36
good for the price of gold and silver.
35:39
There will be a lot of short term noise.
35:42
Excuse me, believe me, right. There'll be days where you
35:45
think, wow, the dollar went down.
35:47
But so that short term doesn't matter if you're investing in
35:52
gold and silver and precious metal mining stocks, it's so
35:56
critical that we have a long term perspective on where, where
36:01
we on where we see things going. There will be short term
36:05
manipulation, no doubt about it. But in the long run, the only
36:10
absolute only a result that can happen are more value in real
36:16
terms and nominal terms either way, going to the precious
36:21
metals. It's an unfortunate situation
36:24
that you and I didn't create, right?
36:27
But just because it's unfortunate doesn't mean we put
36:30
our heads in the sand and and act like it's not happening.
36:34
You have courage, right? I think I have courage to
36:37
actually dig in to what's happening.
36:39
I've been talking about it for years and years.
36:42
People that I talked about that with this 10 years ago, five
36:45
years ago are now like, Oh yeah, you know what?
36:48
What you said was actually true. And I'm like, well, yeah, I'm
36:51
not. And I'm not taking a victory at
36:53
all, right? To me, when you dig in like you
36:57
do, like I do, it becomes very, very clear, right?
37:01
What is happening right now. I mean, my gosh, guys, go back
37:05
to 1971 when President Richard Nixon temporarily remember that,
37:11
right, tip this, He said it temporarily took the United
37:15
States off the gold standard. From then till now, the US
37:20
dollar has lost 9598. I've heard 99% of its value
37:27
versus gold, for example. OK, this, it, it, it, you know,
37:33
and, and, and people like Ray Dalio, right?
37:36
The guy that founded the world's biggest hedge fund started it in
37:41
an apartment, right, and grew it into the world's biggest hedge
37:45
fund. He's somebody we will pay
37:47
attention to. He talks about the inevitability
37:50
of this happening as well. I don't want to be negative.
37:54
I wish they never took us off the gold standard.
37:56
You probably do too. I wouldn't be down here, right?
37:59
We'd be out enjoying better lives like everybody had back in
38:03
1970. If you're as old as me, I was
38:07
born in 1970 anyway, right? This is the reality of what is
38:12
going on. I think it's almost
38:14
irresponsible not to, not to recognize what's happening and
38:19
to protect yourself, protect your family and everything in
38:22
between. The outlook for silver in
38:25
particular is so great. Guys, silver is on the precipice
38:32
of greatness. OK?
38:33
Like, like the Silver Academy said, right?
38:36
The last century was all about oil.
38:39
I think it's very likely right. At minimum, this next century is
38:44
going to be a lot more about silver.
38:47
And I think the potentials there for it to be quite literally the
38:51
Silver century. I don't know that all of us are
38:53
going to live to see how great it actually is, but our heirs
38:57
will. I I strongly believe because
39:02
silver is everything when it comes to technology, Silver is
39:07
becoming even more critical when it comes to energy as well.
39:14
On top of that, two things, we have an energy crisis right now
39:18
in this country. And on top of that, even more
39:22
exciting for silver is the basic supply demand, fundamental
39:27
picture that is in place right now.
39:30
They can't. Phillips Baker, the CEO, the ex
39:33
CEO, the ex CEO, long time CEO of Hecla Mining, the United
39:38
States largest and oldest silver mining company.
39:41
He said it on a Kitco interview, right, that the silver mining
39:45
sector cannot increase production anytime before the
39:50
year 2030. And from there any, excuse me,
39:54
increases are likely to be minuscule.
39:58
Don't forget, like we said earlier, 70% of the world's
40:03
silver that's produced every year, 70% is produced on
40:09
accident. I love that.
40:13
I forget who brought that, who said that.
40:14
I didn't create that saying, but it's a powerful saying that we
40:18
can all share together. OK, So they can.
40:21
The people that are producing silver by accident aren't going
40:25
to go out and suddenly try to increase the amount of silver
40:29
that they're producing. All right, guys, hey, if you've
40:32
enjoyed your time here in the basement, I really enjoyed the
40:35
time that I've spent with you. OK?
40:37
This is like the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood for silver and gold
40:41
investors. Please subscribe to the channel.
40:44
Give this a thumbs up. That way we get the word out to
40:46
more and more people. And I'm going to look forward to
40:49
seeing you next time in the basement.
40:51
Have a great day and I'll see you.
40:53
And yes, I see you. I'll see you next time.
