Dunn and McLain Near Return | Cincinnati Reds News
The Reds are gearing up for a major lineup boost as Blake Dunn and Matt McLain near returns from injury—Dunn from elbow woes, McLain from a calf strain. Both are set to begin rehab with Triple-A Louisville, with Dunn starting as a DH before potentially returning to the outfield and McLain on track for a quicker comeback. Dunn, a top-of-the-order hitter before his injury, and McLain, despite a slow start, could make a crucial impact as the team heads into their critical July 27–August 6 homestand, just as the trade deadline looms.
