- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? It's Romeo, and it's Tuesday. We
- 0:02Speaker 1: got through Monday Night Football just to wing it. The
- 0:04Speaker 1: Chiefs really did put a whooping on the Broncos. We
- 0:07Speaker 1: talked a little bit about the NFL and Monday Night Football.
- 0:09Speaker 1: We also talked about pet peeves, some of the things
- 0:11Speaker 1: that drive you crazy at home. I got this yesterday,
- 0:15Speaker 1: and I didn't get a chance to get to it.
- 0:16Speaker 1: This is my man. I'm glad that you texted me
- 0:21Speaker 1: this before you made a decision. At least I hope
- 0:23Speaker 1: you didn't make the decision yet. It says, hey, good morning, Romeo. Hey,
- 0:26Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you a question. My wife came
- 0:28Speaker 1: home yesterday, and I guess one of her coworkers has
- 0:32Speaker 1: been a friend of hers for a while. She said
- 0:35Speaker 1: she's going through a tough time right now. She wants
- 0:37Speaker 1: to know if she can come stay with us for
- 0:39Speaker 1: a couple of months to get things straight. Do you
- 0:42Speaker 1: think that's a good idea? No, I think that's an
- 0:47Speaker 1: absolute opposite. horrible idea. You and your wife, I'm going
- 0:52Speaker 1: to guess you don't have any kids. You and your
- 0:55Speaker 1: wife want to bring another woman into the house or
- 0:59Speaker 1: your wife wants to. You're asking the question. That is
- 1:02Speaker 1: about the worst possible idea you can ever do. Ask
- 1:06Speaker 1: any woman who has a man. She will tell you
- 1:10Speaker 1: Don't bring another woman into your home because she'll end
- 1:12Speaker 1: up in your bedroom. And she might not be there
- 1:16Speaker 1: when it all goes down. No, it's a horrible idea.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You know how many stories are out there in, well,
- 1:27Speaker 1: not just Bakersfield, but every town where oh, we're just
- 1:30Speaker 1: going to help her out for a little while. We're
- 1:32Speaker 1: just going to help my friend out for a little
- 1:33Speaker 1: while or vice versa. Hey, my buddy needs a place
- 1:36Speaker 1: to stay for a couple of months until he gets
- 1:38Speaker 1: back on his feet or a brother or whatever. Whatever.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And then the next thing you know, yeah, you're there
- 1:47Speaker 1: with the friend. And you may not even meet. You
- 1:50Speaker 1: and your wife may have the greatest relationship ever. You
- 1:54Speaker 1: guys may, one for the history books, but Once that
- 1:59Speaker 1: girl starts walking around half naked, because once she gets
- 2:04Speaker 1: comfortable enough in the house, she's going to walk around
- 2:06Speaker 1: like she wants to. She's going to, you know, there's
- 2:09Speaker 1: not going to be as much privacy as you think. No,
- 2:12Speaker 1: that is a horrible idea. So no, don't ever, if
- 2:17Speaker 1: you're married and it's you and your spouse, don't ever
- 2:19Speaker 1: bring a third party in. It's a horrible idea. I
- 2:23Speaker 1: got this text message. The guy says, hey, Rome, I
- 2:25Speaker 1: wanted to ask you a question. My wife came home yesterday.
- 2:28Speaker 1: And I guess one of her coworkers has been a
- 2:30Speaker 1: friend of her for a while. She said she's going
- 2:32Speaker 1: through a tough time right now. She wants to know
- 2:34Speaker 1: if she can stay with us for a couple of
- 2:37Speaker 1: months to get things straight. Do you think it's a
- 2:38Speaker 1: good idea? No, I think it's a horrible idea. Probably
- 2:42Speaker 1: one of the worst possible things that could happen to
- 2:44Speaker 1: your marriage. You're going to move in another person? Next
- 2:49Speaker 1: thing you know, that person lives there and you don't.
- 2:51Speaker 2: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, you're right about that. I let my sister
- 2:59Speaker 1: come stay with us for a few months. She ended
- 3:01Speaker 1: up sleeping with my husband, and now she lives there
- 3:05Speaker 1: with him. We don't talk anymore, or do I talk
- 3:09Speaker 1: to him? We don't even go to family functions together
- 3:13Speaker 1: anymore because of what she did. She actually doesn't come around,
- 3:16Speaker 1: but she lives in my old house. Like I said,
- 3:21Speaker 1: it's a horrible idea. It doesn't matter who it is.
- 3:25Speaker 1: care how secure you think your relationship is? You're going
- 3:29Speaker 1: to bring in temptation to your house? I mean, that's
- 3:32Speaker 1: just stupid. Why would you do that? All right, 842-5477. Hey, Romeo,
- 3:41Speaker 1: if your marriage is good, it can withstand anything. So
- 3:46Speaker 1: I think it's okay if she's trying to help out
- 3:48Speaker 1: her friend. She's doing a good thing for her friend
- 3:51Speaker 1: and If anything happens, then their marriage wasn't meant to
- 3:59Speaker 1: be in the first place. Is that what you think?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Is that what you guys really believe? That it's just
- 4:04Speaker 1: rainbows and lollipops and faith and joy and whatever? That
- 4:09Speaker 1: that's how your marriage works and it's just supposed to happen?
- 4:11Speaker 1: If it was meant to be, you'd never have any hurdles.
- 4:16Speaker 1: You'd never have any struggles. You'd never have to deal
- 4:19Speaker 1: with anything. It would just work out. That's pretty naive,
- 4:26Speaker 1: to say the least, also. I don't care. I don't
- 4:28Speaker 1: care how strong you believe your marriage is. Yeah, you
- 4:32Speaker 1: want to bring temptation into that house and then see
- 4:35Speaker 1: how that works out? Yeah, it's not going to work
- 4:38Speaker 1: out like you think it is. All right, so I
- 4:40Speaker 1: got this text message from a guy. He says, hey, Rome,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I was going to ask you a question. My wife
- 4:43Speaker 1: came home yesterday, and one of her coworkers has been
- 4:48Speaker 1: a friend of hers for a while now. She said
- 4:50Speaker 1: she's going through a tough time right now. She wants
- 4:51Speaker 1: to know if she can stay with us. For a
- 4:54Speaker 1: couple of months while she gets things straightened out. Do
- 4:56Speaker 1: you think that's a good idea? I think it's a
- 4:57Speaker 1: horrible idea. I can't even believe that your wife. I'm
- 5:02Speaker 1: wondering why your wife thinks it's a good idea. Why
- 5:06Speaker 1: she's not smarter than that. 30, 4, 2, 5, 4,
- 5:11Speaker 1: 7 to 7. And I'm not saying you don't love
- 5:13Speaker 1: your wife. I'm not saying you're not faithful to your wife.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I'm just saying when you bring another woman in and
- 5:20Speaker 1: she starts to live there and it's her home and
- 5:22Speaker 1: she's comfortable, what if she starts walking around naked? What if,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you know, one night, you know, your wife's not there
- 5:31Speaker 1: and she wants to have a few drinks? I mean,
- 5:32Speaker 1: there's just so many possibilities of what could go wrong.
- 5:36Speaker 1: It's ridiculous. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Romeo, hell to the no. He
- 5:44Speaker 1: needs to stay firm on that no. Yeah, you shouldn't
- 5:48Speaker 1: even let a relative move in.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You know?
- 5:51Speaker 1: It's just, there's just so many possibilities of what could
- 5:55Speaker 1: go wrong. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7-8. Romeo, it's funny that you're talking about this.
- 5:59Speaker 1: A few years back, We got this young couple that
- 6:06Speaker 1: moved in next door to us, husband and wife. A
- 6:10Speaker 1: few months after that, they let a friend of hers
- 6:13Speaker 1: stay with them. A friend of hers stayed with them,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and we were talking to him. Next thing you know,
- 6:18Speaker 1: a moving van showed up, and the wife is gone.
- 6:21Speaker 1: This was about five years ago, and he still lives
- 6:26Speaker 1: there with the friend, and the wife is no longer around.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's a story as old as time. So check this out.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I got this the other day. A guy says, Hey Rome,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you a question. My wife came
- 6:39Speaker 1: home yesterday and I guess one of her coworkers, they've
- 6:41Speaker 1: been friends for a while now and she's going through
- 6:43Speaker 1: a tough time right now. She wants to know if
- 6:45Speaker 1: she can come stay with us for a couple of
- 6:47Speaker 1: months to get things straight. Do you think it's a
- 6:49Speaker 1: good idea? I don't think it's a good idea. I
- 6:51Speaker 1: think it's a horrible idea. I can't believe your wife
- 6:54Speaker 1: doesn't think it's a horrible idea. I mean, your wife
- 6:57Speaker 1: must be a little naive and If she thinks that
- 7:02Speaker 1: is a positive in your marriage, not only the privacy
- 7:06Speaker 1: you and your wife will lose, you don't know what
- 7:09Speaker 1: this woman, this woman may be. I mean, you know,
- 7:11Speaker 1: here's the other thing. It's a little bit different with
- 7:15Speaker 1: men than it is women. Okay. Because a woman going
- 7:21Speaker 1: through a tough time, how do you know that? You're
- 7:27Speaker 1: not the answer. She's not coming in there to take
- 7:31Speaker 1: you away from your wife so she can have a house.
- 7:34Speaker 1: So she can have maybe a couple of months staying
- 7:37Speaker 1: with you is what she needs to get you. And
- 7:41Speaker 1: I don't care how much you like, how much you think,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you know, you're in love with your wife. What happens
- 7:47Speaker 1: if she takes you from your wife? Now it's her house. Now,
- 7:55Speaker 1: The wife doesn't now. She solved her problems, right? I'm
- 8:00Speaker 1: just saying. All right, 842-547-7808. I agree with you. It's
- 8:06Speaker 1: a bad idea. I've been married over 20 years. My
- 8:08Speaker 1: wife had female family members stay with us, and they
- 8:11Speaker 1: come out of the shower with just a towel wrapped
- 8:13Speaker 1: around them or walk around with just underwear and a
- 8:16Speaker 1: tank top. That's what I'm saying. The temptation out there
- 8:20Speaker 1: is ridiculous, you know? R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Romeo, I'm going to
- 8:28Speaker 1: tell you from experience. I thought me and my wife
- 8:33Speaker 1: were good. I let my brother come stay with us
- 8:37Speaker 1: to get back on his feet. Once he got back
- 8:40Speaker 1: on his feet, I found out he was sleeping with
- 8:43Speaker 1: my wife. She ended up leaving me for him. Now
- 8:47Speaker 1: they both don't live in my house. See what I'm saying?
- 8:50Speaker 1: It works both ways. You bring that temptation into your house, man.
- 8:56Speaker 1: On purpose? You guys can't be that smart. I mean,
- 8:59Speaker 1: that dumb. Don't ever do that. I don't care. All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 9:06Speaker 1: The real problem is you don't know what the intention
- 9:09Speaker 1: is of this woman your wife's trying to bring in.
- 9:11Speaker 1: That's the real problem. Maybe she found the gullibility of
- 9:16Speaker 1: your wife and she's thinking, I'm going to go take
- 9:18Speaker 1: this woman's man. I hate to tell you this, but
- 9:21Speaker 1: friends do that. There's a reason. There's a real reason
- 9:24Speaker 1: behind the fact that any, in fact, all you guys
- 9:27Speaker 1: listen to me. If you know you're a good man
- 9:31Speaker 1: and your wife never says anything good about you to
- 9:36Speaker 1: her friends, it's because she knows you're a good man too.
- 9:40Speaker 1: And she doesn't want her friends to know it because
- 9:43Speaker 1: she doesn't want one of her friends to try to
- 9:45Speaker 1: take you. Okay.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:49Speaker 1: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Never let somebody live with you. Ever. I texted
- 9:54Speaker 1: earlier and he was saying yesterday his wife says a
- 9:56Speaker 1: friend of hers from work wants to stay with them
- 9:58Speaker 1: for a couple of months to get back on her feet.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Is that a good idea?
- 10:02Speaker 2: No.
- 10:02Speaker 1: It's not. We're not. What's going on?
- 10:04Speaker 2: He's an idiot. Absolutely no.
- 10:09Speaker 1: No, no, no. Well, first of all, at least he
- 10:12Speaker 1: was smart enough to text us before. So he's not
- 10:16Speaker 1: a total idiot. He used his own brain.
- 10:18Speaker 3: He had to call Romeo and get the advice.
- 10:20Speaker 1: He was at least smart enough to ask the question,
- 10:22Speaker 1: so we can't call him a complete idiot. Okay, okay.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Dude, there's no way.
- 10:30Speaker 1: That's a disaster waiting to happen. Either he's going to
- 10:35Speaker 1: flip up and, like, have an issue with her, or
- 10:39Speaker 1: she's going to be hooking up with his wife. Like,
- 10:41Speaker 1: either way, this is.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Not going to end well.
- 10:43Speaker 1: You know what? I forgot about that side of it.
- 10:45Speaker 1: What if they hook up? I mean.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I forgot about that. You're right. You know, we live
- 10:50Speaker 1: in a day and age where people be exploring things
- 10:53Speaker 1: and finding things.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Out about themselves they never thought they knew.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You are absolutely right. Well, I hope he stands strong.
- 11:02Speaker 1: All right.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Bye.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Later. Yeah, I forgot about the fact that what if
- 11:06Speaker 1: your wife starts sleeping with her? I mean, it sounds
- 11:09Speaker 1: good when you're watching it on Pornhub. It's not so
- 11:11Speaker 1: much good when it's in real life. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Good morning, Rome.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Maybe the wife wants to get freaky deaky with it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Ménage à trois, or however you spell it. I know
- 11:26Speaker 1: what you meant. Yeah, but that, I'm just going to
- 11:30Speaker 1: tell you right now, that in itself can be a problem.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I've said this before. I know you guys all fantasize
- 11:38Speaker 1: about having a threesome and what you want your wife
- 11:42Speaker 1: to do or wish she would do until it actually happens.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And then you realize reality sets in. Sometimes the fantasy
- 11:54Speaker 1: is heartbreaking when it's with somebody that you really love
- 11:58Speaker 1: and care about. And yeah, feelings are involved. I'm just saying.
- 12:03Speaker 1: The rhythm of the valley is Romeo. And tonight, the
- 12:06Speaker 1: Kern County Hispanic Chamber Converse has that grito going on.
- 12:10Speaker 1: It is a celebration. Well, Mexican Independence Day. It's all
- 12:13Speaker 1: going down 1415 Truxton Avenue tonight, 7 to 10 p.m. Now,
- 12:18Speaker 1: it's downtown Bakersfield near the Liberty Bell. OK, they got
- 12:21Speaker 1: a lot going on. Like I said, they're celebrating Hispanic
- 12:25Speaker 1: Heritage Month. They got live entertainment. They got a couple
- 12:30Speaker 1: of mariachi bands down there. They got some singers and more,
- 12:32Speaker 1: so you want to check that out. Exhibitors, vendors, food booths,
- 12:36Speaker 1: a lot going on. Like I said, the Grito's going on.
- 12:40Speaker 1: It is the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is
- 12:43Speaker 1: doing it downtown. It's the 15th annual, 7 p.m. to
- 12:47Speaker 1: 10 p.m. tonight, 1415 Truxton Avenue downtown near the Liberty Bell, okay?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Am I calling number 29?
- 12:54Speaker 3: You just called 29.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Congratulations.
- 12:58Speaker 4: What did you think?
- 12:59Speaker 2: Jaleesa.
- 13:00Speaker 1: All right, Jaleesa, you're in on September 22nd. When is that,
- 13:03Speaker 1: next Tuesday? Yeah, this upcoming Tuesday right here at the
- 13:06Speaker 1: studio in our Studio 99. You're going to be able
- 13:08Speaker 1: to play R & B Bingo for Usher tickets, Usher
- 13:11Speaker 1: and Chris Brown, okay?
- 13:12Speaker 4: Awesome.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 13:14Speaker 1: All right, so there you go. You got more chances
- 13:15Speaker 1: for you to win to try to get into that bingo,
- 13:18Speaker 1: R & B tour bingo. You're going to win tickets
- 13:19Speaker 1: to Chris Brown and Usher. That tour's coming to SoFi
- 13:22Speaker 1: the 25th and 26th. What did you send me here?
- 13:26Speaker 1: Let's see. Hey, Rome. Hey, tell him don't do it.
- 13:30Speaker 1: My wife's cousin needed a place to stay for a
- 13:32Speaker 1: few weeks. She ended up staying like three months, and
- 13:35Speaker 1: she ended up in bed, in my bed a few times.
- 13:39Speaker 1: still mess with her here and there. Yeah, you can
- 13:42Speaker 1: never let another woman or man, don't ever let anybody
- 13:45Speaker 1: come into your marital home. I don't care who it is.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Monday Night Football last night was absolutely incredible. I don't
- 13:51Speaker 1: know if you guys watched the game or not. I'm
- 13:53Speaker 1: sure you guys didn't because of that ass whooping the
- 13:56Speaker 1: Broncos took last year. I mean, this year, last night, sorry,
- 14:01Speaker 1: last night, to the Chiefs, the Chiefs just blatantly, just
- 14:04Speaker 1: basically embarrassed the Broncos, made them look like a high
- 14:07Speaker 1: school team. Actually, I shouldn't even say that. There's some
- 14:09Speaker 1: better high school teams out there than what the Broncos
- 14:12Speaker 1: look like last night. Where's the dude who was telling me?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Where's Bronco Rick and all the Bronco fans that were
- 14:16Speaker 1: telling me yesterday? You thought the Broncos were so good
- 14:20Speaker 1: because they won the division last year and what the
- 14:22Speaker 1: Chiefs were just done, right? I guess the Chiefs aren't
- 14:25Speaker 1: as done as you thought they were, are they? One
- 14:27Speaker 1: bad season. What did the Chiefs were? And they were
- 14:30Speaker 1: in five of the last seven Super Bowls and they
- 14:33Speaker 1: won three of them, right? And they had a bad
- 14:36Speaker 1: year last year. And they were just going to go away, huh? Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I wonder if that's the case.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Yo, Ron, Raider Joe.
- 14:45Speaker 1: What up, Joe? Hey, man.
- 14:48Speaker 4: I was, like, watching that game last night.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I was wondering.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Me and my wife, my wife said, I wonder if
- 14:53Speaker 4: Romeo gets all excited every time they show Taylor Swift.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Hey, I yelled out Tay-Tay, hell yeah! Dude, every time, dude.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Taylor Swift.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Like, hey, I liked it. You know, I've seen Taylor
- 15:07Speaker 1: Swift in concert four times. Nothing wrong with Taylor Swift.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Oh, I mean, there ain't. But what they put it
- 15:15Speaker 4: on the TV every 20 seconds.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Well, the one that was worse was, why was Tom
- 15:21Speaker 1: Cruise there?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Right. Right.
- 15:25Speaker 4: You know he don't even watch football.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Exactly. What is Tom Cruise doing at a Chiefs game?
- 15:30Speaker 1: My God, that was the one that I couldn't figure out.
- 15:34Speaker 4: That's what me and my wife were laughing at because
- 15:36Speaker 4: they kept showing them, too. And then my wife looks
- 15:39Speaker 4: at me and she goes, I wonder if that's annoying, bro.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I'm going to say it.
- 15:44Speaker 1: It's not annoying for me. But why would you care?
- 15:48Speaker 1: Who cares?
- 15:49Speaker 4: Better than watching the men cheerleaders, huh?
- 15:53Speaker 1: Oh, God, I don't care about that. I don't care
- 15:55Speaker 1: about any of it, Joe. I don't care who's there.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 16:00Speaker 4: We just were messing with you.
- 16:01Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I had to call Romeo, man. I said, they put
- 16:05Speaker 4: on Taylor Swift. It's like, did she pay for the
- 16:09Speaker 4: NFL to put her on every 30 seconds?
- 16:12Speaker 1: Well, it's Taylor Swift. What are you going to do?
- 16:15Speaker 1: She's the most popular singer.
- 16:16Speaker 4: I was going to say yesterday, how come everybody gets
- 16:19Speaker 4: in a pissing contest with Chilly Gilly? They're going to lose.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You should know by now.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I know.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 16:29Speaker 4: You let him know, Chili.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Chili Gilly does let him know. When that fool's not
- 16:34Speaker 1: on a cruise, Jesus Christ, he spends more time on
- 16:36Speaker 1: a ship than he does in Bakersfield than you nowadays. Right.
- 16:39Speaker 4: I'm just scared to get.
- 16:42Speaker 3: On them cruises where I get some kind of damn
- 16:44Speaker 3: disease and then.
- 16:45Speaker 4: They keep you at the port somewhere.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Oh, God, no.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Come on, now.
- 16:49Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:49Speaker 1: All right, Joe. All right. All right, Tay-Tay. What's wrong
- 16:53Speaker 1: with Tay-Tay? She's going to be the halftime show this
- 16:58Speaker 1: year at the Super Bowl. No, I don't know. I
- 17:02Speaker 1: don't know. Who cares? Who cares? That's what I'm saying
- 17:06Speaker 1: is who cares? Who cares if they show Taylor Swift
- 17:09Speaker 1: or Tom Cruise or, you know, somebody's mom? Everybody thinks
- 17:12Speaker 1: it's great. You know what's funny is everybody thinks it's
- 17:15Speaker 1: great when they show some rookie player's wife or something.
- 17:19Speaker 1: But what? Travis Kelsey's got the... uh richest uh richest
- 17:23Speaker 1: wife in the nfl and what she can't uh she
- 17:26Speaker 1: can't show her but we hate what nobody wants to
- 17:30Speaker 1: talk about last night's monday night football game how dominant
- 17:33Speaker 1: the chiefs looked and they just embarrassed what was supposed
- 17:35Speaker 1: to be the well last year's afc west division winner
- 17:42Speaker 1: and they were supposed to have the best defense in
- 17:43Speaker 1: the nfl and all blah blah blah and the coach
- 17:46Speaker 1: and the quarterback and bone in and The Chiefs just
- 17:49Speaker 1: went over there and just ran the ball all over them.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Made them look like a flag football team, to be
- 17:56Speaker 1: honest with you. It was absolutely embarrassing what happened to
- 17:59Speaker 1: the Broncos last night. Good morning, Romeo. It's Silos. Hey,
- 18:03Speaker 1: that Chiefs team looked good yesterday. K-9 was unstoppable. I mean, no,
- 18:09Speaker 1: that kid, that walker, unstoppable. Just absolutely unstoppable. You're not lying.
- 18:17Speaker 1: And Mahomes looked great, ran for a touchdown. I mean,
- 18:19Speaker 1: what did you think, by the way? Andy Reid is
- 18:23Speaker 1: one of the greatest coaches in the NFL. That other dude,
- 18:28Speaker 1: the defensive coach, is one of the best defensive coaches
- 18:31Speaker 1: in the NFL ever. You think they were just, what,
- 18:33Speaker 1: going to go away? I mean, what kind of stupid
- 18:36Speaker 1: do you have to be to think the Chiefs were done?
- 18:43Speaker 4: Hey, what's up, Roman?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Hey, what up, Roman?
- 18:45Speaker 4: Big shout out to your Chiefs. They made me my
- 18:47Speaker 4: first 40 bucks in the season.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Them Chiefs are riding the ponies out there, bro. Yeah,
- 18:55Speaker 3: I was at the pasture, bro. And these fools were
- 18:59Speaker 3: looking like clowns yesterday with their Broncos stuff on. And
- 19:01Speaker 3: I'm like, dude, that thing had Chris B. creases and
- 19:05Speaker 3: I mean I know they're not Iron Manos jerseys.
- 19:07Speaker 1: You know what I mean I.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Can look at these fools and they don't even know
- 19:11Speaker 3: how creases get put into Levi's.
- 19:13Speaker 4: You know what I mean I'm like man like come
- 19:16Speaker 4: on bro out of five people you mean tell me
- 19:17Speaker 4: one of you that can't have a little faded jersey.
- 19:19Speaker 1: On I know Just wing it last night. Also, there
- 19:26Speaker 1: were a lot of brand new jerseys. A lot of
- 19:28Speaker 1: brand new vibrant colors. This is a whole new year.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Calm down. I always keep it real with you, bro.
- 19:38Speaker 4: They want to clown about the Chiefs and everything, but
- 19:41Speaker 4: the thing is with the Chiefs, they've been steady winning.
- 19:43Speaker 4: They've been steady doing things.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah, they had one bad year. One bad year and
- 19:48Speaker 1: all of a sudden.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Yeah, so I mean, it's time for your boys.
- 19:51Speaker 3: They got me my first 40 on the NFL team
- 19:53Speaker 3: and now it's time to walk back.
- 19:54Speaker 1: All right, Griffin, get out of here. I mean, did
- 19:59Speaker 1: Tom Brady and his, how long, did Tom Brady make
- 20:02Speaker 1: the playoffs every single year? I mean, I'm just saying,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I don't think he did. Gilly will tell me if
- 20:08Speaker 1: he did or not. I don't know. Maybe he did
- 20:10Speaker 1: I mean, he is the greatest quarterback to ever play football,
- 20:12Speaker 1: so maybe he did. But look at what happened. You
- 20:16Speaker 1: Broncos thought you were riding high. All these Bronco fans
- 20:19Speaker 1: thought they were starting off the year. This was the
- 20:22Speaker 1: beginning of something, right? Last year was the beginning of something.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You got Bo Nix. You got Sean Payton. And guess
- 20:29Speaker 1: what happened? You got embarrassed last night. Didn't make the
- 20:34Speaker 1: Super Bowl last year. Didn't do it. Really, he didn't
- 20:36Speaker 1: accomplish anything last year. Because if you don't win the
- 20:39Speaker 1: Super Bowl, you didn't accomplish the end goal. But look
- 20:43Speaker 1: what happened. Got your asses handed to you last night
- 20:47Speaker 1: like you didn't even know how to play football. It
- 20:49Speaker 1: was embarrassing, to be honest with you. And Ruben ain't lying.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I didn't see one. I saw a lot of vibrant
- 20:56Speaker 1: orange jerseys last night. Brand new, still creased up. At
- 21:00Speaker 1: least throw it in the washer and the dryer, man. Hey, Rome,
- 21:03Speaker 1: the Chiefs probably picked up the biggest free agent this year.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Seahawks fumbled the deal, and I guarantee they won't be
- 21:12Speaker 1: back to the Super Bowl this season. Who, the Seahawks
- 21:15Speaker 1: or the Chiefs? How can you guarantee that, by the way?
- 21:21Speaker 1: Who's going to be there, the Broncos? Hey, Rome, tell
- 21:24Speaker 1: Ruben to stop. What happened to the Cowboys? Tell him
- 21:27Speaker 1: to pay up for being on them boys. Well, Ruben's
- 21:32Speaker 1: a Cowboy fan, but he does... Ruben bets money. And unfortunately,
- 21:39Speaker 1: or fortunately for him, he usually wins. He bets on
- 21:43Speaker 1: the team that wins. See, this is why Ruben is
- 21:46Speaker 1: smarter than all you morons out there who you bet
- 21:50Speaker 1: with your hearts. And you lose money thinking there's some
- 21:54Speaker 1: sort of machismo in the fact that you bet with
- 21:56Speaker 1: your heart and lost money. Ruben bets to win money.
- 21:59Speaker 1: That's what gamblers do. Gamblers play to win. You morons
- 22:03Speaker 1: out there bet with your heart because that's your team.
- 22:07Speaker 1: And when you lose... you don't see the fact that
- 22:09Speaker 1: you're a moron. Hey, Rome, you're right. The two coaches
- 22:12Speaker 1: are really good. Andy Reid going to be the Hall
- 22:14Speaker 1: of Fame one day. Steve Spagnuolo will have a head
- 22:17Speaker 1: coaching job one day. I mean, that's what I'm saying.
- 22:19Speaker 1: So what did you expect the Chiefs to do? They've
- 22:22Speaker 1: been the most for the last seven years, eight, six years, seven, six, six,
- 22:26Speaker 1: seven years, six years. They've been the most dominant football
- 22:29Speaker 1: team in the NFL. And because they have some injuries
- 22:33Speaker 1: and didn't Patrick Mahomes get hurt also? I mean, they
- 22:35Speaker 1: had some injuries and They don't make the playoffs. They
- 22:39Speaker 1: don't win the division. So after winning, what, seven in
- 22:42Speaker 1: a row? I don't remember how many they won in
- 22:45Speaker 1: a row. But they have one bad year, and you
- 22:47Speaker 1: expect them just to go away with coaching like that?
- 22:51Speaker 1: I mean, you've got to be a pretty stupid analyst
- 22:54Speaker 1: of football if you believe the Chiefs were just going
- 22:56Speaker 1: to disappear and that the Broncos were all of a
- 22:59Speaker 1: sudden going to be the most dominant in that division.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I mean, you've got to be pretty ignorant and not
- 23:05Speaker 1: know anything about football. That's why I have the show,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and you guys just sound stupid when you text me. R-D-4-2-5-4, 7-7, yo, Rome.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Kenneth Walker was definitely the answer last night. As a
- 23:18Speaker 1: Bronco fan, he personally made me cry. Yeah, he embarrassed you.
- 23:25Speaker 1: That dude looked like a slippery fish just going through everything.
- 23:30Speaker 1: It was very impressive what he did last night. Very impressive.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Romy, Romy, how we doing this morning, man?
- 23:35Speaker 1: I'm doing great, brother. What's going on?
- 23:36Speaker 4: No, I'm not doing good. I'm a Broncos fan, Romy, Romy.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Like you said, a slippery thing. Man, we look bad.
- 23:42Speaker 4: We look horrible.
- 23:44Speaker 1: We look horrible, bro. Romy, I was crying, man.
- 23:47Speaker 4: KC, man, look. I thought Mahomes, if he was hurt,
- 23:50Speaker 4: I thought he was going to be. I ain't going
- 23:52Speaker 4: to lie, Romy. I thought we had you guys. Man,
- 23:55Speaker 4: after that, did you see, man? Let me just bow down, Roman.
- 23:58Speaker 4: I'm just going to bow down.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Well, Bo Nix looked horrible. Bo Nix would not. Yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 1: they looked awful. They looked bad. Did you see what, man?
- 24:07Speaker 4: I don't even know what to say, Roman.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Well, I mean, it's not like you got, you got
- 24:13Speaker 1: beat by the Kansas City Chiefs. They've been my teams
- 24:15Speaker 1: for the last seven, six, seven years. It's not, I mean,
- 24:19Speaker 1: they had a bad year. Mahomes was hurt. and all
- 24:21Speaker 1: of a sudden the Broncos had a chance to take
- 24:24Speaker 1: a shot. They blew it last year, and now we're
- 24:26Speaker 1: back to just where we're at. It's not like you
- 24:28Speaker 1: got beat by the Raiders. I mean, come on now.
- 24:31Speaker 4: You know what, Robbie? I give you that, Robbie. I
- 24:33Speaker 4: give you that.
- 24:34Speaker 3: I got to give you that because my homegirl sitting
- 24:35Speaker 3: right here next to me, she's a Miami fan, and they.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Got smoked by the Raiders.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Hold on.
- 24:40Speaker 4: We're here to Miami fans right here, Robbie. Whatever.
- 24:43Speaker 2: It's just the Raiders.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Come on now. Well, Miami sucks.
- 24:49Speaker 4: No, they don't.
- 24:50Speaker 1: No, they do. They're bad.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Huh?
- 24:54Speaker 1: The Raiders are better than Miami. No, Miami's bad.
- 24:58Speaker 4: They're not bad.
- 24:59Speaker 2: They just had a bad game.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Who's their quarterback?
- 25:04Speaker 2: I don't remember off the top of my head.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Casey did that. We brought those.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Everybody was like, I'm going to follow that up.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Casey rules. All right, man. Later. I mean, and by
- 25:20Speaker 1: the way, speaking of Miami, I forgot to mention this yesterday.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Or on, no, what's today? Yeah, yesterday. That old Miami
- 25:29Speaker 1: coach with the glasses who looked like he was a
- 25:31Speaker 1: drug-dealing kingpin for the Miami Dolphins last year, whatever that
- 25:34Speaker 1: coach's name is now, is the offensive coordinator for the Chargers. Boy, man,
- 25:41Speaker 1: you in L.A. now, bro. Get a haircut. Take off
- 25:44Speaker 1: those stupid glasses, man. Know where you live. Know your
- 25:49Speaker 1: audience because you look fine in Miami because, yeah, you
- 25:52Speaker 1: look like you were slanging after the game. But now
- 25:55Speaker 1: you're in L.A. You need to change that look, bro.
- 25:59Speaker 1: But Miami's awful. They're not good. Poor girl. Poor girl.
- 26:05Speaker 1: But as far as the Broncos go, I mean, they'll
- 26:08Speaker 1: still win a few games. They'll still be all right,
- 26:10Speaker 1: I think. But you can't sit there and discount the
- 26:13Speaker 1: Chiefs because of one bad season when they've been so dominant.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I mean, what did Tom Brady do? Tom Brady played
- 26:21Speaker 1: 20 years and he had a lull, right? There was
- 26:23Speaker 1: a couple of seasons where he didn't do well or
- 26:25Speaker 1: they didn't make the playoffs or the Super Bowl, so
- 26:27Speaker 1: I mean, what do you expect? You can't win everything
- 26:30Speaker 1: every single time. That's just not how the NFL works.
- 26:33Speaker 1: These guys are way too good. But you morons want
- 26:36Speaker 1: to sit there and discount the Chiefs because you're haters.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Talk about what's the Broncos decade now. No, it's not.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But I mean, they'll be all right. It was one game.
- 26:46Speaker 1: They'll be fine. I mean, it's going to take them.
- 26:49Speaker 1: They got to play who they play next week. The Jaguars,
- 26:52Speaker 1: they can beat the Jaguars, maybe, although the Jaguars are
- 26:55Speaker 1: pretty dominant on Sunday. Then they got to play the Rams,
- 26:59Speaker 1: the Niners, and the Chargers, and the Seahawks. Oh, they
- 27:01Speaker 1: got a great schedule. They're going to be just fine. Hey, Rome,
- 27:05Speaker 1: it's Gilrod again. Hey, Rome, is Mahomes where to lead
- 27:10Speaker 1: the Chiefs? Would you follow him to the next team?
- 27:15Speaker 1: Hypothetically speaking, no. I have no loyalty to Mahomes, no.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Not at all.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, funny I talk smack when the Chiefs win,
- 27:23Speaker 1: but when they lose, you didn't watch the game because
- 27:25Speaker 1: you're busy. Glad football is back. Well, sometimes I am
- 27:29Speaker 1: too busy to watch football. But I'm not like you guys.
- 27:35Speaker 1: It's fun to talk smack when your team goes out
- 27:39Speaker 1: and dominates what's supposed to be the future of the
- 27:42Speaker 1: NFL because that's what everybody was saying last year. Oh,
- 27:44Speaker 1: my God, the Chiefs are done. The Broncos are the
- 27:47Speaker 1: future of the NFL.
- 27:49Speaker 2: But.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Also, I have a life. I'm not like you idiots
- 27:54Speaker 1: who have miserable jobs, terrible wives, bad kids, you know,
- 27:59Speaker 1: and then you have to live vicariously through somebody else's
- 28:02Speaker 1: success because you can't do it yourself. That's not me.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I have a life. My life's great. So I don't
- 28:08Speaker 1: watch football as much as I have to. I watch
- 28:10Speaker 1: it on Monday night, though, because I go to just
- 28:12Speaker 1: wing it every Monday night, and the football game is
- 28:15Speaker 1: right in front of me. So, yes, it just so
- 28:18Speaker 1: happened the Chiefs beat the Broncos last night. but I'm
- 28:22Speaker 1: not like you guys. My life's amazing. So I don't
- 28:24Speaker 1: really care too much about, I don't need to live
- 28:27Speaker 1: through whatever the chiefs do or don't do. Yo Rome.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Let's see. You just, you just know that Romeo, Tom Brady,
- 28:38Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant, dominant dynasty players, even they didn't, they didn't
- 28:43Speaker 1: go every year and the chiefs are just currently sitting
- 28:46Speaker 1: in that position. The Broncos had their moment, and they
- 28:49Speaker 1: will have them again eventually. I mean, that was supposed
- 28:54Speaker 1: to be their moment last year, right? Go to the
- 28:57Speaker 1: Super Bowl. Sean Payton, Bo Nix was balling out. Chiefs
- 29:00Speaker 1: were failing. And what happened? They failed. It takes a
- 29:06Speaker 1: lot to be a champion. It takes a lot to
- 29:08Speaker 1: win in the NFL. Those guys that win those Super
- 29:12Speaker 1: Bowls got a certain character about them. Somebody just sent
- 29:15Speaker 1: me this. They said, let me see. They sent me
- 29:20Speaker 1: a photo that said Kenneth Walker had 191 total yards
- 29:24Speaker 1: gained and the Broncos, the Denver Broncos had 176 total
- 29:31Speaker 1: yards gained. Is that true? The running back had more
- 29:35Speaker 1: yards than the entire team.
- 29:36Speaker 4: No.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I mean, the Broncos had a shot, man. That last
- 29:40Speaker 1: year was their shot. Now it's, I mean, the Raiders
- 29:44Speaker 1: are better. The Chiefs are better. The Chargers are sad.
- 29:53Speaker 1: I guess we'll see what happens with them, right? Hey,
- 29:57Speaker 1: what up, Rome? Was there any KC activities last night
- 30:02Speaker 1: at Just Swing It? Again, I saw Kern County activity.
- 30:05Speaker 1: I saw our football come back. And the first night
- 30:08Speaker 1: you see all these people that can't handle their liquor,
- 30:11Speaker 1: people getting knocked out left and right. No, Just Swing
- 30:14Speaker 1: It was great last night. We had two Kansas City
- 30:18Speaker 1: fans and a few– Denver Bronco fans, but all the
- 30:29Speaker 1: Denver Bronco fans were in brand new jerseys. Like, they
- 30:32Speaker 1: had just bought them before they showed up to Just
- 30:34Speaker 1: Wing It. So, no, Just Wing It was great. Had
- 30:37Speaker 1: a bunch of drunk girls, had a bunch of guys
- 30:41Speaker 1: hanging out, having a good time, all different, looks like
- 30:44Speaker 1: a group of buddies who are all different fans of
- 30:47Speaker 1: different teams having a great time. I'm trying to think
- 30:50Speaker 1: what else. No, Just Wing It was fun last night.
- 30:52Speaker 1: It was actually pretty good. And Just Wing It's TVs.
- 30:55Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know if there's a better
- 30:57Speaker 1: place to watch football in Bakersfield now that just, and
- 31:01Speaker 1: I haven't been just, I hadn't seen the TVs until
- 31:04Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago, but I don't, there might
- 31:06Speaker 1: not be a better place to watch football or any
- 31:09Speaker 1: sporting event than just wing it at the marketplace. To
- 31:14Speaker 1: be honest with you. I mean, I just, the, the,
- 31:17Speaker 1: the wall, man, you got to go see it. I
- 31:19Speaker 1: don't even know how to describe it. All right. Eight, four, two, five, four, seven, seven.
- 31:23Speaker 1: What up, bro? Hey, what do you think about how
- 31:25Speaker 1: many times they show Taylor Swift on TV when the
- 31:28Speaker 1: Chiefs are playing? My boys and I played a game,
- 31:32Speaker 1: take a shot every time they show her. And man,
- 31:35Speaker 1: let me tell you, boys, we're done for it. I
- 31:39Speaker 1: don't care. I don't care how many times they show anybody.
- 31:42Speaker 1: It doesn't bother me. And if it bothers you whenever
- 31:47Speaker 1: the camera cuts to somebody else, I mean, how pathetic
- 31:51Speaker 1: are you as a human being? Why should it bother you?
- 31:53Speaker 1: All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. The drinking game's funny, though. I wasn't
- 31:58Speaker 1: trying to mess with you guys about having a shot
- 32:01Speaker 1: every time Tay-Tay came on the TV. I just think
- 32:04Speaker 1: there are so many people that get so upset at
- 32:06Speaker 1: her for being a part of football. She's married to
- 32:08Speaker 1: a football player. She's married to one of the most
- 32:11Speaker 1: famous football players. What do you expect? Did you guys
- 32:15Speaker 1: get mad when you saw Sierra come up every time
- 32:17Speaker 1: Russell Wilson did something? Was it Sierra? Is that who
- 32:21Speaker 1: she's married to? Well, whoever Russell Wilson's married to? I mean,
- 32:25Speaker 1: come on, man. You guys need to get a life
- 32:28Speaker 1: or do a drinking game like they did. Rome, did
- 32:32Speaker 1: you swing some golf clubs at Just Swing It? If so,
- 32:36Speaker 1: how was it? I haven't had a chance to check
- 32:39Speaker 1: that out yet. I did not swing any golf clubs
- 32:42Speaker 1: at Just Swing It last night for Monday Night Football.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I have done it before. It's so much fun. Oh,
- 32:48Speaker 1: my God. If you haven't done Just Swing It, it
- 32:50Speaker 1: is amazing how much fun it is. the floor moves
- 32:54Speaker 1: based on your stance and your lie. It's a, yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 1: it's pretty incredible. Um, that's over at the marketplace by
- 33:00Speaker 1: the way, but you gotta go check it out. You got,
- 33:01Speaker 1: if you, if you're a golfer or you just like,
- 33:04Speaker 1: you want to have fun with your friends and your
- 33:06Speaker 1: wife and your girlfriend, your boyfriend, whoever, you just want
- 33:08Speaker 1: to go have fun. Just swing. It's a great place
- 33:11Speaker 1: to go have fun. They got food, they got drinks,
- 33:13Speaker 1: they got this huge couches. So everybody can sit down
- 33:16Speaker 1: and relax while, uh, whoever's taking the swings on the
- 33:19Speaker 1: simulator at TVs in there. So you can watch sports, uh, Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: it's pretty impressive. It's pretty fun. But no, I didn't
- 33:26Speaker 1: do it last night. I don't know why I didn't
- 33:28Speaker 1: do it last night. I was, I don't know, busy
- 33:30Speaker 1: hanging out. Hey, Rome, the Niners are better because they
- 33:34Speaker 1: are healthy for now. Play our song, Bang Bang Niner Gang. Okay,
- 33:40Speaker 1: I could do that. Hey, Rome, the refs helped the
- 33:42Speaker 1: Chiefs win. So many missed calls against the Broncos. Shaking
- 33:45Speaker 1: my head, Broncos country will bounce back. You're an absolute moron.
- 33:50Speaker 1: They won, what, 31-10. There is no way, even if
- 33:57Speaker 1: the refs did miss calls, there's no way they missed
- 34:01Speaker 1: so many calls that it was they lost 31-10. You
- 34:08Speaker 1: know what? I don't know what you're smoking. I don't
- 34:11Speaker 1: know what you're on. I don't know what kind of
- 34:13Speaker 1: delusional idiot you are. But, yeah, you should just stop texting.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Somebody should take your phone away because you sound stupid. Yo, Rome.
- 34:23Speaker 1: This is Siak Lu. Every September comes with the exact
- 34:26Speaker 1: same script. Week one, massive overreactions and fan base meltdowns
- 34:32Speaker 1: over early season wins while Seattle sits up in the
- 34:35Speaker 1: Pacific Northwest carrying the Lombardi Trophy. Crazy people think they're
- 34:40Speaker 1: going to win the Super Bowl just because they won
- 34:42Speaker 1: game one in a week. Well, unfortunately, Lou, you're right.
- 34:50Speaker 1: They had the Lombardi Trophy, but it's a new season,
- 34:54Speaker 1: so it's time for you to move on as well.
- 34:56Speaker 1: You can't be that stupid. Well, Lou is that stupid.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Lou is really that stupid and delusional. I mean, come on.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Every year we start again, and we see what happens.
- 35:05Speaker 1: If you're going to live vicariously through the Lombardi Trophy
- 35:07Speaker 1: that you won last year, Lou, it just really proves
- 35:10Speaker 1: how pathetic you really are as a person and a
- 35:12Speaker 1: human being. Move on. You should be something more out
- 35:15Speaker 1: of your life. You just had a brand-new baby, bro.
- 35:17Speaker 1: You know, you should be excited for that and your
- 35:19Speaker 1: wife and your kids. Instead, you're just that dumbass who
- 35:23Speaker 1: was trying to live vicariously through last year's team with
- 35:28Speaker 1: a trophy they won't win again for probably 10 years,
- 35:32Speaker 1: if that. But okay. But you are right about the early,
- 35:37Speaker 1: the first game and the early dramatics. Some clown today
- 35:41Speaker 1: on ESPN, and I don't know which one it was,
- 35:43Speaker 1: the ESPN TV was on, and this idiot said that
- 35:47Speaker 1: The Arizona Cardinals are going to have a better record
- 35:50Speaker 1: than the Los Angeles Rams. I don't know if these
- 35:55Speaker 1: idiots on ESPN or Fox or whoever these guys are
- 36:00Speaker 1: who do these sports analysis, I don't know if they
- 36:03Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and go, let me figure
- 36:05Speaker 1: out the stupidest thing I can say this morning, and
- 36:07Speaker 1: if I'm right, that'll be great. But if I'm wrong,
- 36:12Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. These idiots. I think if I was dumber,
- 36:15Speaker 1: I should have gone into sports broadcasting, but I'm too
- 36:18Speaker 1: smart for that. What'd you send me here? Hey, Rome,
- 36:21Speaker 1: to be honest, man, the defense looked really good for
- 36:24Speaker 1: the Chiefs. Mahomes was kind of rusty, but I'll tell
- 36:27Speaker 1: you what, that running back, Kenneth Walker, man, that dude's bad.
- 36:30Speaker 1: The other dude was no joke yesterday. No joke whatsoever. Yeah,
- 36:36Speaker 1: the defense did look good.
- 36:37Speaker 4: It's funny.
- 36:38Speaker 1: For some reason, you know, Spagnoli's a great defensive coach.
- 36:41Speaker 1: He's got four Super Bowls or three or four Super
- 36:44Speaker 1: Bowls as a coach. And it's funny because the defense
- 36:50Speaker 1: gives up a lot, but boy, they sure buckle down
- 36:52Speaker 1: when they have to. Hey, Rome, Bill's fan here. So
- 36:55Speaker 1: I hate the Chiefs, but they looked good last night.
- 36:58Speaker 1: They looked legitimate last night. They did, especially since The
- 37:01Speaker 1: Broncos are supposed to be a legitimate football team. They
- 37:06Speaker 1: didn't look like one last night. I mean, I think
- 37:08Speaker 1: the Broncos had their chance last year. I really do.
- 37:10Speaker 1: I think it was kind of a fluke year for
- 37:11Speaker 1: the Broncos. They had, you know, the Chiefs were messed up.
- 37:14Speaker 1: The Chiefs had a bad year. The Broncos had a chance,
- 37:17Speaker 1: and they just blew it. And I think they're coming
- 37:20Speaker 1: off that. So we'll see what happens. Hey, Seahawk Lou
- 37:24Speaker 1: just had a baby. Now he can tell the baby, no,
- 37:26Speaker 1: you can't have any more formula because he's got to
- 37:30Speaker 1: buy his beat boxes. Oh, yeah. Seahawk Lou is a
- 37:33Speaker 1: terrible father. Yeah, beat boxes and the Seahawk come before
- 37:37Speaker 1: his kids. But, you know, that's what losers do. They
- 37:41Speaker 1: live vicariously through somebody else's success because they can't create
- 37:44Speaker 1: their own. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. I do got to give you guys
- 37:49Speaker 1: some tickets here real quick. I get caught up. Find
- 37:53Speaker 1: Your Hero, October 9th through the 11th. Disney on Ice
- 37:57Speaker 1: is going to be at Dignity Health Arena. And I
- 38:00Speaker 1: got a four-pack of tickets for you right now. Caller
- 38:03Speaker 1: number 29, you want to go to Disney on Ice
- 38:05Speaker 1: right now? Good morning. What's going on?
- 38:07Speaker 2: Hi, what color am I?
- 38:08Speaker 1: And you're caller number 29. Congratulations.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Yes. What's your name?
- 38:15Speaker 3: Tiffany.
- 38:16Speaker 1: All right, Tiffany. You got four tickets to Disney on
- 38:18Speaker 1: ice in October. Okay.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Already four, two, five, four, seven, a seven Rome. Check
- 38:24Speaker 1: it out. Hey, Romeo. Remember when people used to say
- 38:28Speaker 1: the colors of the Superbowl logo were a clue to
- 38:30Speaker 1: which team was going to go make it to the Superbowl. It,
- 38:34Speaker 1: if this is it, I see the chiefs colors and
- 38:37Speaker 1: the dolphins colors. And we both know the dolphins won't
- 38:41Speaker 1: be there. Oh, Oh, yeah, you're right. The Chiefs colors
- 38:46Speaker 1: and the Dolphins colors. Oh, yeah, we know that. Yeah,
- 38:49Speaker 1: that's not real. All right, so you guys want to
- 38:52Speaker 1: go check out Usher and Chris Brown. The tour is
- 38:56Speaker 1: coming to SoFi Stadium, the 25th and the 26th. We
- 38:59Speaker 1: got tickets for you. If you guys played music, bingo.
- 39:02Speaker 1: We'll be playing music, bingo. Four rounds of R &
- 39:05Speaker 1: B tour music, bingo. The winner of each round will
- 39:08Speaker 1: win tickets to the show. Now you got to get
- 39:11Speaker 1: an invite right now. Caller number 29. It's happening September
- 39:15Speaker 1: 22nd right here at the studio. You want to play?
- 39:18Speaker 1: Caller number 29, 842-54-727. Hey, Rome, I asked you earlier
- 39:22Speaker 1: about Patrick Mahomes. If you were to leave the Chiefs,
- 39:25Speaker 1: if you would follow. I didn't get to listen because
- 39:28Speaker 1: one of these losers at work started talking to me.
- 39:31Speaker 1: What was your answer? No, I wouldn't leave the Chiefs.
- 39:33Speaker 1: If Patrick Mahomes left the Chiefs, then you just have
- 39:37Speaker 1: to suck it up with the next quarterback and hope
- 39:39Speaker 1: the team recovers. Because, yeah, no, I wouldn't leave the Chiefs. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Rome,
- 39:49Speaker 1: I thought Seahawk Who was joking, but he named his
- 39:54Speaker 1: newborn after me, and now he wants me to baptize
- 39:59Speaker 1: the baby. I think he's trying to hustle me for
- 40:01Speaker 1: a free ride and some good barbecue, Rome, for the celebration. Well,
- 40:07Speaker 1: Seahawk Who could be doing that. You never know.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:12Speaker 1: But didn't you lead the Niners when Montana left? Yeah,
- 40:16Speaker 1: when I was a kid. When Montana went to the Chiefs.
- 40:20Speaker 1: But Montana was the greatest quarterback to ever play. I
- 40:23Speaker 1: grew up up there. My father raised me as a
- 40:27Speaker 1: Niner fan. So what does that have to do with anything?
- 40:33Speaker 1: When did Montana leave? So I've been a Chiefs fan
- 40:38Speaker 1: longer than I was a Niner fan. R-D-4-2-5-4, 7-7. It's
- 40:41Speaker 1: probably outside of the 4.1. And there's no way in
- 40:45Speaker 1: hell I'd ever compare Patrick Mahomes to Joe Montana. They're
- 40:49Speaker 1: not even close to the same caliber of quarterback. Yo, Rome,
- 40:53Speaker 1: Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw have won all four. Joe's
- 40:56Speaker 1: the greatest of all time, though in my book also.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Joe's would only be Joe Montana would only be the
- 41:05Speaker 1: greatest of all time because of the era that he
- 41:07Speaker 1: played in, you know, Tom Brady, you can't discount. I mean,
- 41:10Speaker 1: I'm not going to get into an argument under the
- 41:12Speaker 1: greatest quarterback of all time is it's just, you know,
- 41:14Speaker 1: when you grow up as a kid with Joe Montana
- 41:17Speaker 1: and you, he gets traded, you know, you go, you
- 41:21Speaker 1: leave with your team, you know, or you leave with
- 41:23Speaker 1: your guy, no loyalty to the team. I had a
- 41:25Speaker 1: loyalty to the guy. Um, now I have a loyalty
- 41:28Speaker 1: to the chiefs, but, uh, I don't know. You can't.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Tom Brady. Guy won what? How many Super Bowls did
- 41:34Speaker 1: that guy win? I mean, and did it forever? For
- 41:38Speaker 1: two decades? Even though it was a different era? I mean,
- 41:41Speaker 1: I don't know. You can't compare the two. But I
- 41:43Speaker 1: think Joe's probably... I think somebody came out and said
- 41:46Speaker 1: that about Joe Montana. They said, Joe Montana's the greatest
- 41:49Speaker 1: because he had to play against me. Maybe it was
- 41:51Speaker 1: Lawrence Taylor or somebody like that who said the guys
- 41:53Speaker 1: that Joe Montana had to play against and the fact
- 41:58Speaker 1: that You know, the rules weren't the same for the quarterbacks.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Changes the whole dynamic of football. So, yeah, it is
- 42:04Speaker 1: what it is. What's going on?
- 42:06Speaker 4: So I'm going to say, I mean, not an argument,
- 42:08Speaker 4: but you got to think about this. The best quarterback,
- 42:12Speaker 4: Doug Williams.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Watch the red skin.
- 42:16Speaker 4: First black quarterback to win a Super Bowl. Now look
- 42:18Speaker 4: at the quarterbacks. The whole profile of the position.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:27Speaker 4: You with me on that, right? You with me?
- 42:30Speaker 1: Not even close. Oh, man.
- 42:35Speaker 4: All you got to do is give it some thought
- 42:37Speaker 4: and then just look back. You know, that was four
- 42:40Speaker 4: times back then.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Four times. I don't even know who you're talking about.
- 42:44Speaker 3: I'm not questioning one thing you're saying. I'm just saying
- 42:47Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 42:48Speaker 4: What you're talking about. I'll let you say it.
- 42:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 42:50Speaker 1: All right.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Later, man.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Good morning. What's going on?
- 43:09Speaker 2: What's up, Rome?
- 43:11Speaker 4: Seahawk Lou, man.
- 43:12Speaker 1: What up, Lou?
- 43:12Speaker 2: Hey, with all these little hypothetical questions or stuff like
- 43:17Speaker 2: that that people are asking you, I have a question
- 43:20Speaker 2: for you, man. If Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker get
- 43:27Speaker 2: traded to the Seahawks, will you become a Seahawks fan
- 43:30Speaker 2: with me? No. No. Oh, come on, Ro. Why not, man?
- 43:34Speaker 4: That'll be so fun.
- 43:35Speaker 1: That's just stupid. Why would you... Not only... You know,
- 43:40Speaker 1: hypothetical questions are stupid to begin with, Siak-Lu. You took
- 43:43Speaker 1: it to a whole other level of stupidity.
- 43:47Speaker 4: Really?
- 43:47Speaker 1: It's possible, Ro. Yeah, you... No, you just really took
- 43:50Speaker 1: it to a whole level of stupidity. I mean, you just...
- 43:53Speaker 1: You really took to the next level. That's... I mean,
- 43:56Speaker 1: I can't even... That's like saying if I grow... Six
- 44:00Speaker 1: more inches, can I go play for the Lakers? That's
- 44:03Speaker 1: just stupid. So, the number one pet peeve that dads
- 44:08Speaker 1: have is leaving the lights on. Now, something's got to
- 44:12Speaker 1: drive you crazy at home, whether it be your husband,
- 44:14Speaker 1: your kids, your wife, your girlfriend, your boyfriend, whoever it is.
- 44:17Speaker 1: What is your number one pet peeve at home? Good morning,
- 44:19Speaker 1: how's it going on?
- 44:20Speaker 2: Hey, Ro.
- 44:21Speaker 4: What up, man? Nothing much. You got an answer already?
- 44:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it was leaving the lights on. Oh, yep. Exactly.
- 44:31Speaker 2: All right, man.
- 44:33Speaker 1: All right, bro. Good morning, y'all. What's going on?
- 44:37Speaker 3: Hey, man, I could have sworn it would have been
- 44:40Speaker 3: the answer to when you get in your wife's car
- 44:43Speaker 3: and there's no gas in it.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good one. That is a good one.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Are you getting your car because she borrowed it and
- 44:49Speaker 1: there's no gas in it? Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 44:51Speaker 4: She drives it all the way to the light zone.
- 44:53Speaker 1: All right, man.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Thanks for calling.
- 44:54Speaker 1: All right.
- 44:55Speaker 3: All right.
- 44:55Speaker 1: So let me ask you a question. What is your
- 44:57Speaker 1: pet peeve at home? whether it be with your kids,
- 45:10Speaker 1: with your wife, with your husband. Dad's number one pet
- 45:14Speaker 1: peeve is leaving the lights on, right? Because dad usually
- 45:19Speaker 1: pays the PG & E bill. It's kind of an
- 45:20Speaker 1: old school way, but yeah. So what is your pet
- 45:24Speaker 1: peeve at home? R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7-A-R-O-M. Turning up the AC is the
- 45:28Speaker 1: number one pet peeve. Okay, okay. All right. What is yours? 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Like I said, what is your number one pet peeve?
- 45:43Speaker 1: All right. It's Romeo. All right. So what's your biggest
- 45:46Speaker 1: pet peeve you have at home with your family? All right.
- 45:49Speaker 4: 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Go right now. What's going on?
- 45:52Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo.
- 45:53Speaker 4: Number one pet peeve has got to be not putting
- 45:56Speaker 4: stuff back in the fridge. Like, how are you going
- 45:58Speaker 4: to make a bowl of cereal and not put the
- 45:59Speaker 4: milk back in the fridge?
- 46:01Speaker 1: That's funny. Good morning. What's going on?
- 46:03Speaker 4: All right, Romeo.
- 46:05Speaker 1: What up, man?
- 46:06Speaker 4: Hey, man, when they leave their vehicle on E and
- 46:08Speaker 4: try to get somewhere fast.
- 46:10Speaker 2: And they're like, oh, my God, my car turned off.
- 46:16Speaker 1: That's hilarious. All right, man. Good morning, y'all. What's going on?
- 46:20Speaker 4: Romeo, one of the things that I hate the most,
- 46:22Speaker 4: and kids are notorious for it, is not filling up
- 46:26Speaker 4: the toilet paper roll.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 46:29Speaker 4: I hate when they do that. And then they go
- 46:31Speaker 4: off to school, and I think, okay, I'm here alone.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I need some toilet paper.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Ain't nobody in the house to help, Raider Dave.
- 46:38Speaker 1: That's hilarious, man. Just use one of your jerseys. That's
- 46:42Speaker 1: about what they're worth.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Oh, that's cool.
- 46:44Speaker 1: I'm going to use the KC one.
- 46:46Speaker 4: I got some of them.
- 46:46Speaker 1: All right, Raider Dave. Later, man.
- 46:48Speaker 3: R-A-4-2-5-4-7-S-7.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Like I said, man.
- 46:53Speaker 1: At home, what drives you crazy the most? 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. Yo, Rome,
- 47:00Speaker 1: the door left open. Okay, okay. Just generally not listening. Hey, Rome,
- 47:08Speaker 1: squeezing the toothpaste from the front instead of the back.
- 47:12Speaker 1: That's what gets you going, huh? All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. Like
- 47:16Speaker 1: I said, what is your biggest pet peeve at home? Ro,
- 47:19Speaker 1: good morning, Romeo. Mom of two boys and married. I
- 47:23Speaker 1: hate it when they leave the TV on, no one's
- 47:25Speaker 1: watching it, and the dumb volume is so loud on
- 47:29Speaker 1: a 65-inch biggest pet peeve ever. Like I said, mom's
- 47:33Speaker 1: got pet peeves too. What is your biggest pet peeve
- 47:37Speaker 1: at your house? drives you crazy at home? What is
- 47:40Speaker 1: your biggest pet peeve at the house with your family, right? R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Yo, Rome,
- 47:46Speaker 1: it's refilling toilet paper. I need to go and there's
- 47:49Speaker 1: no toilet paper. Hey, Rome, if you don't warm up
- 47:54Speaker 1: your car before leaving, that makes me mad. Why do
- 48:00Speaker 1: you got to warm up the car? Hey, Roman, biggest
- 48:03Speaker 1: one is that when we're on a road trip, the
- 48:05Speaker 1: kids ask, are we there yet every couple of minutes? Oh,
- 48:08Speaker 1: that's an old school one. So like I said, man,
- 48:10Speaker 1: what is it? What drives you crazy? I saw the
- 48:13Speaker 1: statistics that said dad's biggest pet peeve at home is
- 48:18Speaker 1: leaving the lights on. What's your biggest pet peeve? Good morning, now.
- 48:21Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 48:22Speaker 4: Hey, Romeo.
- 48:23Speaker 1: What up, man?
- 48:23Speaker 4: My biggest pet peeve?
- 48:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Will my boys go use the restroom? They open the
- 48:30Speaker 4: door and they ask me, can I get him some
- 48:32Speaker 4: toilet paper? And I tell them, nope, get it yourself.
- 48:36Speaker 2: If you knew you were going to go get a,
- 48:38Speaker 2: you know what, why didn't you look first?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Why didn't you look first? That's hilarious. All right, man.
- 48:44Speaker 4: I'm like, don't be yourself all the time. Go get
- 48:46Speaker 4: yourself that toilet paper.
- 48:47Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 48:48Speaker 3: All right, brother.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Thanks for calling.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Later.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Seems like a lot of you got some toilet paper
- 48:53Speaker 1: issues going on at the house, right? Not refilling them.
- 48:56Speaker 1: What happened to keeping toilet paper under the sink? You
- 48:59Speaker 1: guys don't do that? R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Everybody's got those big Costco
- 49:03Speaker 1: things now. You keep them in the garage, huh? All right,
- 49:06Speaker 1: so at home, what is your biggest pet peeve at home?
- 49:09Speaker 1: What's your biggest pet peeve that you have at home
- 49:11Speaker 1: with your family? Good morning, how's it going on?
- 49:14Speaker 4: Hey, my pet peeve.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Can't stand when I'm listening to other.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Yes.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Same thing happens to people when they're
- 49:34Speaker 1: watching TV and you're trying to catch something. Oh, how
- 49:37Speaker 1: was your day? Yeah.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Oh, gosh.
- 49:40Speaker 4: That's petty, but it's just a no-no for me.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Oh, that's awesome. That's awesome. Thanks for calling. Thank you.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Good morning, Al. What's going on? Good morning, Romeo.
- 49:51Speaker 4: Do you only want one annoying thing or a list
- 49:53Speaker 4: of them?
- 49:53Speaker 1: Give me the biggest one. The one that bothers you
- 49:55Speaker 1: the most. The biggest one is when my husband asks
- 49:58Speaker 1: for Q-tips to clean his ear and he always leaves
- 50:00Speaker 1: them on the counter. It's like, oh, here's a gift
- 50:02Speaker 1: for you to throw them away.
- 50:03Speaker 2: You can't throw them.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Away on his own.
- 50:04Speaker 2: I always get a surprise of Q-tips.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Oh, that's nasty. And that's dirty. That's nasty.
- 50:11Speaker 2: That's my everyday life. All right.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. All right. Thanks. Good morning, Al. What's
- 50:16Speaker 1: going on? Hello, are you there?
- 50:20Speaker 3: Hi, hello.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on?
- 50:23Speaker 3: My biggest pet peeve is dirty socks everywhere in the house.
- 50:27Speaker 3: And when you're missing socks, it's because there's some are
- 50:30Speaker 3: hiding underneath the bed.
- 50:33Speaker 1: But have you ever found dirty socks on the counter?
- 50:37Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Okay. Hey, thanks for calling. She ain't lying, though. There
- 50:44Speaker 1: ain't nothing nastier than some dirty socks. Some of you
- 50:47Speaker 1: come home with some real nasty socks. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. What is
- 50:51Speaker 1: your biggest pet peeve at home? That means your family's
- 50:55Speaker 1: driving you crazy. Hey, Rome, I hate it when my
- 50:59Speaker 1: girlfriend or the kids ignore the one piece of ice
- 51:02Speaker 1: that comes out of the dispenser that fell out of
- 51:05Speaker 1: their cup. Then it melts on the floor, and I
- 51:08Speaker 1: walk out onto the kitchen in the morning to make
- 51:11Speaker 1: my coffee, step in a puddle of water in my socks.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Drives me absolutely insane. Yeah. Yeah, that's a good one
- 51:20Speaker 1: right there. Already 4-2-5-4, 7-7, like I said. What is
- 51:25Speaker 1: your biggest pet peeve at home? Dad's. Dad's biggest pet
- 51:30Speaker 1: peeve at the house is the lights being left on.
- 51:33Speaker 1: What is yours?
- 51:34Speaker 3: 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Good morning. How's it going on?
- 51:36Speaker 4: Hi.
- 51:36Speaker 2: Are you guys still doing the biggest pet peeve? Yeah.
- 51:40Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 51:42Speaker 2: I'm just keeping all the doors closed, like the bathroom
- 51:44Speaker 2: doors and the laundry room door.
- 51:46Speaker 4: Those are like my biggest pet peeves.
- 51:48Speaker 2: If they don't, I start screaming at my kids.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Why do you want all the doors closed? What's that about? Because, like,
- 51:54Speaker 1: I don't like the noise.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Like, if they're doing the laundry, it's just really loud.
- 51:59Speaker 1: Okay. So, and then the bathroom because, I don't know,
- 52:03Speaker 1: I just have this thing about, like, the odor from
- 52:05Speaker 1: the restroom. I don't know. Okay. All right. I've never
- 52:10Speaker 1: heard that before, but okay. All right.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Yeah. All right.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Thanks for calling, man.
- 52:14Speaker 3: All right.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Good morning, man. What's going on?
- 52:17Speaker 4: What's going on, bro?
- 52:18Speaker 1: What up, brother?
- 52:20Speaker 4: I think my world's biggest pet peeve is the statistic.
- 52:24Speaker 4: My daughter goes through the house, no matter what room
- 52:27Speaker 4: she goes into, and she will flick on the light
- 52:29Speaker 4: in the middle of the day, no matter what. And
- 52:33Speaker 4: then she walks around with her iPhone light on and
- 52:35Speaker 4: talks about, Daddy is not bright enough. Girl, what are
- 52:38Speaker 4: you trying to see? Ain't nothing changing in the house.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Damn, that's hilarious. That irritates me so much. Oh, that's funny, man.
- 52:51Speaker 1: That's funny. Yeah, that's like you're a statistic, bro. Every
- 52:55Speaker 1: dad's biggest pet peeve. All right, man. Thanks for calling. Yep.
- 53:01Speaker 1: He ain't lying. R-A-4-T-5-4-7-7-8-ro. My biggest pet peeve is paying
- 53:07Speaker 1: the damn bills, especially PG & E. Second pet peeve
- 53:10Speaker 1: is my wife not having dinner ready, and she's home
- 53:13Speaker 1: with one child. Lastly, you dare say Wasco is worse
- 53:18Speaker 1: than oil? We still have class out here. Oh, yeah.
- 53:21Speaker 1: The only problem is you got Seattle Lou, Seahawk Lou,
- 53:26Speaker 1: whatever his name was. He's bringing down your numbers. Hey, Rome,
- 53:31Speaker 1: her hair falling out everywhere. It's everywhere. In my food,
- 53:36Speaker 1: in my, yeah. All right, what's your biggest pet peeve?
- 53:39Speaker 1: At home. What's your biggest pet peeve? At home. That
- 53:43Speaker 1: means the people you live with are driving you nuts.
- 53:46Speaker 1: What are they doing? 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Good morning, how's it
- 53:48Speaker 1: going on? Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 53:51Speaker 4: Hey, what up, brother? I'm going to tell you what
- 53:54Speaker 4: squeezes my juice.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 53:56Speaker 4: When my lady eats in the room, I cannot stand that.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Eats in the room?
- 54:04Speaker 4: Eats anything, chips.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Oh. Well, yeah, because that could get all up in
- 54:10Speaker 1: your bed and just be nasty.
- 54:13Speaker 4: All right, man. All right, thanks for calling. Good morning.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Now, what's going on? Hey, are you still talking about
- 54:26Speaker 1: pet peeves? Yeah, what do you got?
- 54:28Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 54:28Speaker 4: I literally have so many.
- 54:30Speaker 1: I have, like, a long lip.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:32Speaker 4: When they don't flush the toilet, like, that's just common sense.
- 54:36Speaker 4: Don't put the toilet seat down.
- 54:39Speaker 2: When you eat something and then you don't.
- 54:41Speaker 4: Pick up after yourself... Like, who's going to do it?
- 54:45Speaker 4: They're waiting for me to do it?
- 54:47Speaker 2: Well, maybe.
- 54:49Speaker 1: You live in a barn? Exactly. That's what I'm saying.
- 54:56Speaker 4: And then literally all of the ones that everybody listed.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Having the TV so loud.
- 55:03Speaker 4: Yeah, turning up the AC. Like, okay.
- 55:06Speaker 1: How many people do you live with?
- 55:09Speaker 4: It's complicated. I have my own little family.
- 55:11Speaker 2: And then.
- 55:13Speaker 4: And then I have extended family living with me.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Oh, I can see why you're frustrated in that. Yeah,
- 55:18Speaker 1: that makes a lot of sense. Okay.
- 55:20Speaker 4: It drives me crazy.
- 55:21Speaker 1: I thought you were maybe just blaming your kids. What's that?
- 55:23Speaker 4: Taking something out and not putting it back where it goes.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Like, leaving it on the counter.
- 55:27Speaker 4: Like, it's okay.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Still do it. You know?
- 55:30Speaker 4: They know it drives me crazy.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Oh, that's great. I go on and on.
- 55:36Speaker 3: All right.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Well, good luck.
- 55:38Speaker 3: I'm glad I'm not the.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Only one, though. That makes me feel better. Oh, no, no, no, no.
- 55:42Speaker 4: Normal things and I feel like I'm crazy.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I know everything you said is pretty normal. Pretty normal.
- 55:49Speaker 2: All right.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. I appreciate it. Although she might be
- 55:53Speaker 1: going crazy.
- 55:55Speaker 2: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 55:55Speaker 1: All right, Rome. My pet peeve at home, when my kids,
- 56:01Speaker 1: they leave the water running, the sink, the shower, and
- 56:03Speaker 1: sometimes they'll forget it's on.
- 56:05Speaker 2: What?
- 56:07Speaker 1: I've never, wow, you better straighten your kids out. A
- 56:10Speaker 1: statistic that said dad's biggest pet peeve is leaving the
- 56:12Speaker 1: lights on. What is your biggest pet peeve at home?
- 56:15Speaker 1: Good morning, what's going on?
- 56:16Speaker 2: Yes, Rami, are you guys still talking about what annoys
- 56:19Speaker 2: you the most?
- 56:20Speaker 1: Yeah, what is it?
- 56:21Speaker 3: Mine is when my kids or my husband wants to
- 56:25Speaker 3: lay on my spot of the bed after they've been.
- 56:29Speaker 2: At school or outside and they just stink up my area.
- 56:32Speaker 4: I don't want that.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Or anybody else in general. Oh, yeah. I can see
- 56:40Speaker 1: how that can be kind of annoying.
- 56:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:43Speaker 1: That's my biggest pet peeve. That's funny. Why did you
- 56:45Speaker 1: tell them to stay off your spot?
- 56:48Speaker 2: I do, but they don't care.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Oh. That's hilarious. Yeah, I just don't like anybody leaving
- 57:00Speaker 1: their scent or their smell or anything on my pillow
- 57:02Speaker 1: or on my spot.
- 57:03Speaker 4: It's just, yeah.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I can see how that can be annoying, absolutely.
- 57:08Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Bye.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a legitimate pet peeve, I think, or a
- 57:13Speaker 1: legitimate gripe.
- 57:14Speaker 2: RD4254727.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, any time that gets us.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Oh, where they start nagging you?
- 57:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 57:29Speaker 1: All right. Hey, I'm feeling attacked with the taking off
- 57:34Speaker 1: without warming up. I'm feeling attacked with the taking off
- 57:38Speaker 1: without warming up the car and getting somewhere fast on E.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I don't understand the warming up the car thing. I mean,
- 57:48Speaker 1: you don't park your car in the garage. I don't
- 57:50Speaker 1: have to warm up my car. Fire's right up. Hey, Rome,
- 57:53Speaker 1: my biggest pet peeve is finding fake eyelashes all over
- 57:57Speaker 1: my swimming pool. Looks like roaches. Yo, Rome, not taking
- 58:05Speaker 1: the trash out on trash day. Okay. Or taking the
- 58:09Speaker 1: trash out on trash day. Hey, Rome, I tell my
- 58:13Speaker 1: kids not to wake up early on my day off. Okay.
- 58:16Speaker 1: Biggest pet peeve you have at home. What is it?
- 58:19Speaker 1: Biggest pet peeve, Rome, when the guys of the house
- 58:23Speaker 1: decide to take out the trash but not add a
- 58:26Speaker 1: bag and pile the trash on the can. Oh, yeah.
- 58:30Speaker 1: All right. So what are your biggest pet peeves at
- 58:33Speaker 1: the house? What drives you nuts? Your family's doing it.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Good morning. What's going on?
- 58:37Speaker 4: Hey, yo, Mr.
- 58:38Speaker 3: Romeo.
- 58:38Speaker 1: What's up, brother?
- 58:40Speaker 4: Hey, man, my big pet peeve, man. You know, me
- 58:44Speaker 4: and my girl, we fuck words, man. But when she
- 58:46Speaker 4: has her days.
- 58:47Speaker 2: Off, man, now we're like, hey, man.
- 58:49Speaker 3: What's for dinner, man?
- 58:50Speaker 4: She'll be like, I'll just go ahead and bring.
- 58:52Speaker 3: Something from Del Taco.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Man, I hate that, man, knowing I'm here all day
- 58:59Speaker 1: eating Del Taco. No, man, I can't. You're the Del
- 59:03Speaker 1: Taco man. You got to do it. And she got
- 59:06Speaker 1: to tell me she don't feel like cooking.
- 59:08Speaker 3: Go ahead and bring something Del Taco.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Some Del Taco. Hey, you want to be the man,
- 59:14Speaker 1: you got to be the man.
- 59:16Speaker 2: Man, I'm telling you, man.
- 59:19Speaker 1: There's nothing wrong with people. Oh, that's hilarious. All right, brother,
- 59:23Speaker 1: thanks for calling. All right, 842-547-S7. What's your biggest pet
- 59:30Speaker 1: peeve at home? Let's see. When they run the washer
- 59:36Speaker 1: for one T-shirt and they have a whole hamper full
- 59:38Speaker 1: of dirty clothes.
- 59:39Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:41Speaker 1: You guys are slipping on that water bill, huh? I mean,
- 59:45Speaker 1: I get a big water bill because I'm on some
- 59:47Speaker 1: meter thing, but that water bill adds up quick, man.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I was more concerned about water than I was about gas. Hey, Rome,
- 59:54Speaker 1: when they leave half-empty bottles of water around the house,
- 59:57Speaker 1: but you then buy a gallon of water and nobody's
- 59:59Speaker 1: thirsty anymore. Hey, Rome, what drives me crazy at home,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: my pet peeve, is my girl not knowing what she
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: wants to eat. Well, that's funny. A-Rom, putting the toilet
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: paper backwards. That drives you nuts, huh? R-D-4-2-5-4, 7-7. What's
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: your biggest pet peeve at home? Rome, that dude worried
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: about the milk is probably a stay-at-home dad. Yeah, some
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: guy said his biggest pet peeve at home was when
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: they don't put stuff back in the fridge. A-Rom, that
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: her closet is full of her clothes and my closet
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: is full of her clothes. I just have a little
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: three-drawer dresser full of my clothes. What's your biggest pet
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: peeve at the house? Your parents? I mean, your parents.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Your family's driving you nuts. What do they do?
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: 8-4-2, 5-4, 7-7.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Go on, what's going on? Yes, yes. What happened? My
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: biggest pet.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Peeve is having.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Laundry baskets going in the room everywhere, and they still
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: don't put the dirty clothes in there.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Somehow it's always on the floor.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: They miss the basket.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: How can you miss a laundry basket? It's big. Yes. Oh,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: that's funny. Hey, thanks for calling.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Like I said, what is your biggest pet peeve at home?
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Eight, four, two, five, four, seven, seven. If it wasn't
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: for hot girls, they always bring over. I'd live alone. Okay. Okay.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: As a mom, my biggest pet peeve is when there's
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: a mess in the house and for some reason, nobody
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: sees it but me. I have one small question about
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: that pet peeve and that is this. Okay. When you
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: live with other people, Is it that you just, you're
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: the only one that sees it or you're the only
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: one that's bothered by it? Because there are some days
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: when I go home and some things will bother me
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: and some things won't. Like last night, I had to
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: put a bunch of dishes in my sink, right? And
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: it didn't bother me. But I know when I get
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: home today, it's going to bother me.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: So.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Yeah, think about that. R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Rome, I'm a mom
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: of three boys and an adult child. My husband, I
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: hate it when they don't put the toilet seat up. Oh, gosh.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Because then when you sit in it, you sit in
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: pee spots. That's got to be the worst for you, right?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: For you women, when you have a bunch of men
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: that live with you and you sit down on the
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: toilet seat and there's pee spots on it. Our little
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: droplets of pee. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-S-7. What's the biggest pet peeve that
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you have? All right. So what drives you crazy at home?
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: What are your home pet peeves? Good morning. What's up?
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Good morning, Romeo.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Hey, what's up? So my pet peeve is when I'm
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: giving my friends or my family, anybody, a ride.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: And they slam my car doors.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I freaking hate that.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: And I hope they hear this because I know they're up.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Do not slam nobody's freaking car doors if you do
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: not own that car. Oh, that's hilarious. All right. All right.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. That's hilarious. Already 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7. Yo, Rome,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: the biggest pet peeve is chewing with your mouth open
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: and smacking your food. Drives me insane. Hey, Rome, one
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: of my pet peeves is when me and my girl
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: are eating dinner and she bites the S out of
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: the fork or spoon. You can hear the annoying scrape.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Sounds like nails on a chalkboard. I have never heard
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: that before. It's a little weird, but okay. Hey, Rome,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: when they stack trash on top of my full trash
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: can instead of pushing down or getting a new bag.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I can see where that would drive you crazy. I
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: can understand that. Already four, two, five, four, seven to seven.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Like I said, what is your biggest pet peeve at home? Okay,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: that means you're dealing with your family. Your family is
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: doing something that's driving you crazy. What is it? Hey,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: when they want to use my phone instead of their tablets. Okay. Hey, Rome,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: when the kids don't flush the toilet. Kids don't flush
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: the toilet? What kind of kids are you raising, man? Hey,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: my big pet peeve that my family thinks that the
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: entire house is their closet or their hamper. I can
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: see that. I can see that. Hey, when you tell
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: the kids to put on your shoes and they start
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: asking why, where are we going? Romeo in the morning.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Every morning.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: 94.1.
