are going to be talking about. And that of course was Eve Elite

Encounters down at the Big Penny Social in Walthamstow, North

London. Yeah, this was another fantastic

showing from Eve. It is fastly becoming one of my

favourite promotions. Second show that I have been to

two very different climates, I have to admit.

The one back in August for Eve versus the World, that was

during Forbidden Door weekend. That was hell to put it one way.

It was warm as AF. So this time it was a bit wetter

than than the last time, which does help to be a bit more

cooling down. But that said, we will get into

the matches and have a little discussion about them.

So we kicked off Elite Encounters with a She Won

qualifying match. This was Lancashire versus

Yorkshire, Melissa Fierce representing Lancashire, Alexis

Falcon representing the dark side of the UK in Yorkshire.

Now this was one match I was looking forward to, mainly

because we all know how good Falcon is, but seeing Fears who

has, I've kind of grown to become a massive fan of hers

over the last almost six months. Now having I'd said previously,

I hadn't really seen Melissa Russell until I saw her future

shock, which turned out to be a lie because I had actually seen
3:17
her at Softpro and just did not remember it.

So there you go, Brain obviousive ladies and gentlemen,

brain obviousive. That said though, this was a

really fun encounter. Three groups of fans really in

attendance and so we had the odd Yorkshire member from the the

crowd cheering. Obviously Falcon.

We had quite a large contingent cheering for Fierce as there was

a lot. I will say this though, for a

Friday night in London, there was a heck of a lot of Northern

fans there, which just shows how well we travel to be, to be

fair. So you kind of had three groups

of fans for this match. You had the Yorkshire crowd for

Falcon, the Lancashire crowd for face and the London crowd who

generally wasn't that bothered who won as long as he got a good

match. And in the end it kind of seen

more of the latter than anything of the three.

So the match itself. Face, A few notes I have written

down here so because I try not to make notes nowadays, but I

did on this occasion. So notes I've got written face

with a great account of a self a beautiful twisting tornado snap

suplex from Falcon on Melissa face which started from the

middle rope face then does her now usual leg sweep from the

outside followed by a kind of like a springboard elbow into

the ring. A facebuster by Alexis, followed

kind of a few moments later by a gorgeous crossbody by Melissa

Fierce. I think there's certain

wrestlers that have certain moves that not only do they pull

off well, but also make it look so kind of like beautiful to

watch. One of those is in the past,

shall we say, hardcore. Holly used to do his dropkick,

which is always kind of pitch perfect, and Mel, who has one of

the best crossbodies that you'll see anywhere.

It's kind of just how well she hits as well.

But equally, it does need the other person to make it look

well, make it look good. But I mean, having a top pro in

the ring in Alexis, I think it's fair to say we were not going to

get a bad match from these two. I want to say I could be wrong

on this. I want to say we saw this at TNT

a couple weeks ago as I kind of scroll back and no we didn't.

So good thing I didn't actually say we did.

The ending of the match however, saw an irate on face by Falcon.

Mel gets caught in the corner, tries to lift her feet to stop

the incoming move. Falcon reads like a book, throws

her legs to one side on the rope, hits the DDT from the

ropes which is called off with their heads.

Falcon qualifies for the tournament in January.

The match itself lasted about 7 minutes.

Thirty. I go into cage match, so it was

one of those matches where practically everything was

perfect. Falcon look strong, winning face

equally looked as good despite a losing effort.

A bang of an opening match. I have to say that there's there

aren't too many times you can watch an opening match these

days where it does really well. It really does set the tone

moving forward and this definitely did its job.

After the match we had Dan Reed, one of the Co promoters at Eve.

He interviewed Falcon in the little aisle way they have and

announced that she will be facing session of Martina in

January in one of the She won matches.

However, they have a show before January, that being December 5th

at Let's Slam Santa and saw A tag team match being set up with

both Falcon and Martina being able to choose their dream

partners for that particular contest.

So we then moved to match #2 which again was another.

She won qualifier, this time involving Sapphire Reed of

Hyperactive and Danny MO, who was, I think she'd been here for

a couple of weeks I believe. So she's been pretty much

touring the UK getting some shows in while here.

This match was so good as well. It's I think this helped

showcase both. I think if you didn't know much

about Danny MO, which hands up, I did not know too much about

her come the end of it, I definitely had a good example of

how good she is. Sapphire Read.

We all know how good she is. She's one of the best talents in

the UK right now and kind of as this match went on, you realise

that you are getting an absolute cracker of a contest.

So notes I have on this Sapphire with a running double boot

through the ropes that sends MO flying into the seats.

Which listening, listening back and having watched the show once

or twice since commentary pointed out quite often how the

crowd did not seem to move out of the way on a couple of

occasions during the show. This was despite everyone being

briefed on. If you see two muscle people

coming towards you, move the hell out of the way for your

safety and as well for them. But yeah, there's there was a

couple of times where people either weren't quick enough or

on one or two occasions just decided, well, they're not going

to reach me so I don't have to move.

No, move the fuck away. Move to which one of the

occasions you had Sapphire Reed even saying it slowly so they

could understand and still people did not move though.

Also you had people that were trying to move out the way but

at the back of standing there were quite a few that were just

drinking and chatting amongst themselves and they were holding

play up so to speak as no one could move back because they

wouldn't move back. So that wasn't an ideal

situation either. But thankfully did not take away

anything from the match. All the shows in total or

together I should say. So he then had Reed going to

suplex MO on the chairs which were not folding chairs, which

made this a lot worse I thought. Danny Danny MO reverses it sends

Sapphire crashing through the seats.

Thank God though, because her frame is so small that she

managed to almost have the what's the word?

I'm thinking of the crumbling complex of a snake where her

body managed to kind of navigate the gaps to avoid any kind of

serious injury. So that that was a bonus.

We got a great reaction when Sapphire tried to hit her sort

of like running head butt. However, as Reid went to Yeah,

as Reid went to jump onto the ropes to almost do a crossbody

back, but not doing a crossbody trying to do the head butt.

MO gave her a good kick which could have easily have been

awful, but it worked so well. This especially the angle I had

from the corner. That was then followed up by MO

hitting a Michinoku driver for a nearfall.

Reed hits a nice German suplex with MO caught up the opposite

way in the corner, then follows it with a flying head attack to

see the pinfall victory in a time of 907.

This was as I said previous, this was such a really fun match

to watch. I have watched it a couple of

times since and I will probably watch it again.

I mean, Read is one of my favourites to watch as A tag

team with Anita Vaughan. I'm kinda jealous.

I do think they're one of the best tag teams as well, but as a

single star, this was this was up there with one of the top

matches of the night. Wasn't pushing the top 2, but it

was easily in the top three. Speaking of Anita Von, we moved

to match #3 which was for the EVE International Championship

with originally being a freeway contest with the former EVE

International Champion Anita Von, Chris Statlander, the
15:51
current champion and the third participant was you, to which

this was used final of they deemed a retirement match in the

UK. So when she came out, you got a

massive cheer from the entire EVE crowd which which was really

good to see. However, before the bell went to

start this contest, we had an addition to the match to make it

a fatal four way as Alex Windsor got added to the contest.

I'd like to say I was surprised that she was added, but not

fully surprised, if that makes any kind of sense, because I

always think Windsor will appear on these shows no matter what,

just because she's kind of part of the furniture.

Really, this match was just utter chaos.

I was very limited in what I wrote for notes, so here you go.

So the match started with all three opponents attacking you.

Who was the bigger of the four opponents swatted them all like

flies, in fairness. So that kind of you knew where

you were, what you were going to get with this.

No one was going to overpower you, no one, no one at all.

Start Lander hit a face Buster on Vaughan.

Having seen Vaughan hitting, I think it was Windsor.

And so Windsor go to the outside.

Vaughan poked ahead through the ropes.

Start Lander came in, picks Vaughn on her shoulders and as I

said hits a facebuster. You then sees a chance to hit a

running sent on splash, which she does and it was quite lovely

to see. Alex Windsor then hits a blue

Thunderbomb on Statlander. We then had you getting the

crowd involved with handclaps, drops to the mat and rolls to

the outside, steam rollering all free in Statlander, Vaughan and

Windsor. Statlander then kind of fucks up

a bit because she goes to chop you and you can see the
18:47
immediate regret on her face when you responds the favour and

it looked like it hurt like hell.

Alex then put Anita Von in a sharpshooter I think it was.

Statlander breaks it up. However.

Statlander then gets put in a sharpshooter herself.

Nothing comes of it. No submission.

Match continues. Closing stages sees Statlander

hitting the Friday Night Fever or The Big Bang Theory if you

prefer the old term of the move. She hits that on you to retain

her title in a fun contest that lasted 11 minutes and I'm

guessing 50 seconds because all I have is 11/2 dots 5, so we'll

call it 50. Really good match, really

entertaining contest. After the bout, we had Dan Reed

once again, who seemed to be pulling double duty.

He hit the ring, grabbed the microphone and after Stat Lander

had kind of paid her respect to you and left the ring, Reed had

the microphone, thanked you for everything that she has done,

not just at Eve. But for women's wrestling as a

whole and just kind of spoke about her career and what she
20:33
has done, which is a great career it has to be said.

During this we had the entire Eve locker room empty to pay

their respects to her. We then got a nice video montage

where we tried to fit as many you kind of pun related songs

into the montage. So we had everything, not

everything I do while someone messages me.

So the Bryan Adams song, Everything I do, I do it for

you. We had the Rembrandt's friend

song, which I'm very desperately trying to remember what the song

Thank God I remembered that. But to begin that we had Only

you by the platters because one, I'm not that old but I did

listen to 50s hits so I am what you can happily call cultured.

So we then had you leaving the ring for the final time as you

tremendous send off from both the fans and the wrestlers

together that took us into the interval on the show.

I had an interesting interval where everyone just needed to

get a drink because it was a bit warm in there.

It has to be said, not as warm as August but it was warm.

I had a bloke at the bar who seemed to be a bit, I don't know

how to best to describe him. He was a bit grumpy but didn't

seem to be all there. So he'd been there for a while.

So I said yeah, you can go ahead with me being the nice gentleman

that I am. So I got a drink, He got a

drink. He asked what I was doing there.

I informed him I was there for the wrestling.

I asked him was he there for the wrestling?

His reply was no, to which about 5 seconds later he says oh you

here for the wrestling too. And I thought I've just

literally answered that. And he tried to say that he was

as well, which was kind of measuring a massive bullshit

level off the Richter scale. So I ended up getting taking my

drink and going back into the venue.

I looked around and he had followed me, which wasn't great.

I didn't want to be around him. He was, he was an old gentleman.

A couple people will have seen him if you were where I was

stood. So during this time I kind of

tried to avoid him, look to see if I could say if I could chat

to any. Any of the wrestlers I knew did

try and get a word with Hyperactive, but unfortunately

could not do so. So they have that worrying event

to come at TNT. However, I did get a photo and a

signed autograph from the lovely Melissa Face despite the fact

she nearly locked me out of my PayPal account.

Which is. I mean I've never known that to

happen before because she forgot her name when typing in the

e-mail address and just said I cannot remember what I am doing,

which wasn't very helpful. And then it kept coming up on my

on which obviously was not going to work.

I then tried saying it's OK, I'm here, I'll do it.

It wouldn't recognise my form of fingerprint.

So it said if you try this one more time you will be locked out

of your account. I then had to search for my

password because I do not know what the password is.

So Melissa continued to do photos and sign autographs while

constantly checking to see everything was OK.

I said yeah, it's fine, it's fine.

And inside I'm going, oh shit, it's not working, it's not

working. Eventually everything was

sorted. She remembered her own name.

So that was that was a nice little way to end the interval.

We then went to start the second-half which was the eight

women's tag match which featured Abby Cartwright, Nina Samuels,

Pretty Psycho in Amir Blair and Zoe Lucas taking on the team of

Lolly Go On Lolly, that being Holly Barlow and Lana Austin,

Sexy Sky Smithson and Violet Knight.

Now we resume Part 2 of Old Man Follows Me.

So the show restarts and this guy who had just wandered in

decides to rest his drink on the stairs and the woman that was

sat on the front row next to me her and me were basically

telling this guy mate you need to move back the wrestling you

cannot sit stand there. So he moved back and went oh OK,

did not seem to have a clue what was going on, continued to just

rabbit about something. Ended up almost being spat in

the eye because either he was drunk or something.

One of the lovely crew at Eve came up to us said is everything

OK? She asked this gentleman did he

have a wristband which is what you need to get in.

He said no and tried to say I had his receipt, the cheeky

bastard. So she asked him could you

politely follow me, which he did, which was effectively her

way of saying get the fuck out. Everyone around us just locked,

looked at each other laughing, just going what the hell was

that? But yeah, that was a thing.

However, getting back to the action in the ring, and if we

hadn't seen enough chaos, I mean, there was, Oh dear God,

So this was a chaotic match in different ways.

We did have the crowd, however, chanting towards Nina and Pretty

Psycho with one chant I loved of tiny hats and tiny belts, of

which Pretty Psycho, who lost the tag titles, are carrying toy

wrestling belts. Nina Samuels wears a little hat

to the ring for her entrance and collectively little hats, tiny

belts. It's a chant that, well, it's

quite a good chant in Venice. Yeah, I'll give him that.

Not actually itself. We started with Zoe Lucas and

Holly Barlow. I would say arguably 2 of the

I'm trying to think how to word this now 2 of probably the the

loveliest, nicest people out of them all, which does come across

bad saying that, but they seem very personable and lovely, even

though all of them in this match are well, maybe got so much Lana

and Nina. Nina just plays that role very

well and Lana just stole my hat twice and threw it away.

But I'm not bitter in any way. Anyway, before Holly can grab

That's what I meant. Lucas rolls back, does the whole

kind of beauty pose, and while she's lay down the same pose

that Holly Barlow does to say, don't I look very pretty with

Well, Lucas's was more a roll up.

Holly's attempt was kind of trapping Lucas and doing the

protege of Nina Samuels and is seen as kind of a lesser

wrestler in the role she plays, is almost like she's very lowly,

but Nina kind of just treats her like crap to be fair.

But Cartwright took some lumps from both Violet Night and Sky

Smithson. However, when the referee's back

was turned, Cartwright, and I think it was Samuels as well,

decided to attack Smithson saw Smithson being isolated from her

team. We then have soon after Lana

coming in takes it to the rest of the team.

Lally then combines to take out pretty psycho Holly diving

through the ropes to hit Samuels and then a nice crossbody on a

mirror. Abby then hits a, it wasn't a

sling blade, but it was like a a very light clothesline on

Smithson. Smithson celebrates like she

thinks she's Batista. Meanwhile, the camera work was

akin to The Undertaker and AJ Styles to where she saw both

Violet Knight and Smithson kind of just standing behind her as

if to say, OK, you can take your time, but you're literally going

to get your ass kicked when you turn around.

And she did. She got hit with a double double

team powerbomb or I want to say the the H bomb, but I don't

really want to say the H bomb. Both Sky and Violet see Lucas

and Amira behind the other after they kind of almost pose in

front of one another to say how they could work well as A tag

team. And I hope that happens because

you'd have night Sky enough of that.

They kind of both see, so Knight can see a mirror behind Smithson

and Smithson can see Lucas behind Knight.

So you kind of feel like you know what's going to happen if

the the two baddies are going to kind of get hit.

And they didn't. It was the other way around

because you saw a mirror, a mirror head butting knight.

Smithson gets almost like a scorpion kick to the face which

was a nice scorpion kick. Has to be said.

A mirror then hits a side sight sight O slam on Smithson and

then an axe kick from Lucas from the ropes.

She then turns round. Smithson gets hit with a spear.

Emira and Lucas then kind of go to go for the pin.

We then get a sex pin from Emira who bounces cavalts.

Lucas counts the pinfall. They start to celebrate, but the

referee is quick to tell them that yeah, sorry, I'm sorry, you

too, but Smithson ain't the legal person in this match which

after all. Lolly then appears from nowhere.

Both of them hit Twists of fate on Pretty Psycho.

Abby tags herself in when Nina was going to get the tag which

Nina wasn't too very happy about.

Has to be said. Holly goes to hit Abby but as

she goes running towards her Cartwright moves out the way.

Holly hits her best friend of all friends that she has as Lana

goes flying. Abby then gets a mousetrap pin

on Holly for the 123, leaving everyone stunned.

The commentators were stunned, Nina was stunned, a few other

people were stunned, the popcorn sellers were stunned, and by

God, if anyone else was nearby they'd be stunned.

Pretty Psycho kind of tried to take the glory themselves with

their tiny belts and began posing with him and celebrating.

Nina seemed to be begrudgingly impressed to a satellite degree.

We then had a mini fallout between Pretty Psycho and Nina

and Abby as they pushed Abby back as they wanted to take all

the glory. But as it went on Nina seemed to

think I was really impressed with that and as they left a

smile came on Nina's face which has hardly happened when it's

involved Abby. So could we be seeing a new

attitude and also what does this now mean for the tag belts as

with Abby pinning the Champions or 1/2 of them, could this mean

that they get a title shot in December or down the line?

I guess we'll have to wait and find out.

The penultimate match of the night as Lucy Skye took on

We then had about two minutes and 30 of this match being

literally the Eve crowd serenading Willow with a variety

To which I think Willow was taken aback a bit by this.

Lucy, I don't think she knew what to do at that point because

This was one of the biggest matches she'd had.

But I think also the wasting a bit of time, if I can say

wasting a bit of time, I think actually helped settle kind of

Lucy and this match as a whole. I did enjoy Willow kind of just

leaning forward-looking around at the crowd and asking, is that

all the songs you got? OK, we'll wrestle.

So we started with Willow going up to Lucy, just hand in the in

the face, pushing her, Lucy kind of just pushing her away.

It was almost heelish by Willow. I felt ended up with kind of

both of them just hands to the face.

Then we saw the seriousness come and saw both women trying to use

their strength, but it was kind of negated because no one moved.

Willow then had the early advantage in the match.

Lucy fought back. We saw a lovely cat reel in

Zigori by Nightingale to Sky. That was followed by A10

clotheslines in the corner. Basically just beat the shit out

of each other for the rest of the match.

Lucy and Willow, Yeah, I've just said that Lucy chops Willow in

three of the corners before Willow then grabs Lucy, froze
